- Chris Laker: I have to come clean with you. This is a fake background. This is not how I live. I live in a very spacious loft in a high rise luxury building, exposed brick, big windows, lots of light. Looks like a warehouse, but a fancy warehouse where rich people live. but I want to look relatable, like a man of the people. So I do this as the background. I'm not going to show you then you'll see my view. and you'll be able to dox me. I know people are waiting to dox me. They're watching this saying, where does he live? How do I find it? I want to stand outside the building. Luckily it's a very secure building. There's a doorman. You can't get past a doorman. I made most of the money from private equity too. That's the other thing I'm not proud of it. I'm proud of the money. I like the money, but I'm not proud that I was in private equity. I realize I make the joke that people are going to think I actually made money in private equity. No. I did not, I think it's funny to say that I was in private equity, but it's not private equity is the worst. if you're in private equity, stop it. You're ruining the world for what? Mitt Romney, made all his money in private equity, which is basically stealing and ruining people's lives. And then he said, but I'm a nice guy. I'm just a dad this isn't a fake background, that was a joke too. I was looking at the fake backgrounds that they have in Riverside and I it was funny look at my beautiful apartment. Why do you want to fool people with your apartment? Just have your own apartment. just have no background. Just have like a blur it out or something. everybody knows they're fake. You just don't want people to see. your fucked up apartment. My apartment's not fucked up. Well, this is, you're just seeing my blinds. I wouldn't show you lot of other parts of my apartment. Not that there's a lot to my apartment. This is the biggest apartment I've lived in, I think. I'm pretty sure. I had this one illegal sublet on 35th street above a bar for a little while that was very big for a New York City apartment. was like sitcom level big, No light, all the windows faced an alley, but it was so big. I had everybody I knew come over to that apartment because I thought it was very impressive I don't know what I'm babbling about. I'm going to get to the news. Ex Chicago detective identified as killing child in 65 year old cold case. Great to see cops held accountable. 65 years later. This guy, the murderer, died in 2006. And did he just murder one kid? I think if you murder a kid, that means you need to murder. That's a serial murder. You don't do to murder a kid because it's, let me see what it's like one time. Imagine what cops were able to get away with 65 years ago. They get away with a lot now with body cameras and DNA and other cameras like all over the place. They still get away with stuff. 65 years ago, where else would you want to be if you were a murderer than on a police force? Best place to be. What do you do to the dead murderer now? If he's buried, I say you dig him up. You don't get to be buried next to your loved ones. You go to a jail cemetery where they put you in one of those walls in the file cabinet and it's cramped and you don't get any place to hang flowers and it doesn't even have your name on it. That's what happens to you for being dead murderer. there's go to be some sort of punishment. understand that he doesn't really know, but it's cathartic. Florida to execute a prisoner who killed his cellmate in in hopes of getting a death sentence. He should not get the death penalty. I don't care where you stand on capital punishment. He wanted it, so he killed somebody for it. And now he gets what he wants. No, you don't get the death penalty. As a matter of fact, we're bringing in the best doctors, putting you on a very healthy diet, exercise. This is the guy who ICE, believe, allegedly ran over intentionally because he was running away. And have you seen these ICE officers? They don't like to run. ICE officers also accuse people of weaponizing their vehicles all the time. That's why they killed Renee Good, they shoot at other people into their cars and have injured other people. allowed to weaponize their vehicle? They're not allowed, but they do it. They're not allowed, allowed, but really they are. I've noticed from concerts I've gone to recently, it seems almost obligatory for at some point the band to say, fuck ice, which is great. it does seem a little trite. we have to say, fuck ice. Let's put it on the set list even, but fuck ice. from the crowd. Everybody's excited to cheer for fuck ice and fuck ice. know that everybody says it, but I'm saying it too. And I really mean it. and if for some reason you're watching and listening to this and you like ice, you're pro ice, you can't wait for this Danny Trejo movie to come out. That's pro ice. he said he's not pro ice. He didn't read the script. Maybe he's old. he's like in his eighties. He got hired. He showed up. Maybe that's what I'm going to tell myself. I don't want to think bad things about Danny Trejo. Harvey Keitel's in that movie too. people get weird. I don't know what his deal is with that movie either. Maybe he didn't read the script, but even if he is pro ice I'm going to tell myself reservoir dogs, Harvey Keitel wasn't like that. He got weird later. but if you are pro ice and you listening or watching this right now, don't do that. Stop that. You're being a fucking idiot. There was some deaths on a roller coaster here in California at a six flags Nobody should be dying on a roller coaster in 2026 at an amusement park. into a parking lot yesterday and they're moving next week, things go awry. But a Six Flags roller coaster, the whole point is you don't die on it. It does add an extra element of fear on the roller coaster when you're like, my God, I could die. People are dying on these roller coasters. I think I'm going to stay off roller coasters for, I don't go on them anymore. What am I, I'm not going to amusement parks. I don't smoke weed anymore. If I smoked weed, an amusement park is fun, but sober amusement park, it's just a bunch of lines. Staying on a line when you're not high, not fun. When you're high, it's kind of interesting. do drugs kids. Don't smoke weed. weed's not really a drug. don't do it because it's so much fun that you want to do it all the time. It's not addictive. It's kind of addictive. If you're an adult, enjoy yourself. I'm saying kids don't do it because you have to tell kids not to do it. Two adults and two children sleeping in their home at 5 a.m. found dead at the house was set alight in Waterford, Ireland, blaze as arson suspected. It's a weirdly worded headline, but a couple and their two kids in a house in Ireland get set on fire. They're all dead. It's arson. It was intentional. People are saying drug gangs do this over drug debt and not necessarily their drug debt, but could be somebody in their family I don't know how you get into drug debt to the point that family members are being killed. I don't know how you get into drug debt of any kind. Do drug dealers take credit in Ireland? I've never met a drug dealer that said, you're good for it. Yeah, just take the drugs and pay me later. And eventually when you've amassed a large amount of debt, I will kill somebody in your family. They want the money right away. That's the whole point is the money, not, let me give away a lot of drugs, then kill somebody. That doesn't make any sense. It's a bad business model. Drug dealers in Ireland stop taking credit. Cash, drugs, you move on. Then you're not doing this bullshit. If that's even what happened. They don't even know if that's what's happened. they were targeted before with vandalism and blaming it on drug gangs in Ireland. The term drug gangs is coming up too, which I've never heard that term. It's a gang. And then gangs will sell drugs, I guess. I've never been in a gang. don't even like to be in a group of people more than three. CVS might be the most oppressive retail environment I can think of. if the class war starts, it will be in a CVS. every time I'm in there, feels like something's about to happen and it doesn't matter where the CVS is. They have every pharmacy in the country. Everywhere I go is a CVS. they might've killed some people to make money, fill in a bunch of opioid prescriptions that they knew this isn't right. somebody's got to fill the prescriptions. You're not shutting down CVS, charge them a few bucks. It sounds like a big number, but to them it's not. We all move on and say, they settled. we went after them. The justice department, this justice department in particular, they're not afraid to go after big business. that was sarcasm. you know, some people don't pick up on sarcasm. I've got to point it out.
