- 0:23Speaker 1: It is time to leave your worries outside and laugh
- 0:27Speaker 1: with us inside the treehouse. Today is Fred Day, May ninth,
- 0:33Speaker 1: Twoy twenty five. Welcome inside the treehouse today. I'm Daniel Mallley,
- 0:38Speaker 1: along with Trey Trenholm, Raj Sharma and Jerry Caldwell.
- 0:43Speaker 2: Holy crap, we are almost halfway through the ear. I know,
- 0:46Speaker 2: freaky right.
- 0:48Speaker 1: And not only that, but if I read my calendar correctly,
- 0:53Speaker 1: Sunday's Mother's Day.
- 0:58Speaker 2: Sunday is Mother's Day?
- 1:01Speaker 1: Are you giving your mom all the Mother's Day vibes
- 1:03Speaker 1: this year? Let me clarify, Are you buying your mom
- 1:08Speaker 1: a vibrator for Mother's Day? Absolutely?
- 1:11Speaker 2: Not, Different strokes for different folks.
- 1:17Speaker 3: Folks.
- 1:20Speaker 1: I know you're wondering, who in their right mind would
- 1:23Speaker 1: gift their mom an adult toy for Mother's Day. Gwyneth
- 1:27Speaker 1: Paltrow's It's Gwyneth Paltrow, So obviously I'm using the phrase
- 1:31Speaker 1: right mind very loosely here.
- 1:34Speaker 2: Gwyneth Paltrow's Goop.
- 1:35Speaker 1: Publication, very appropriately named today released a Mother's Day gift guide,
- 1:42Speaker 1: and the options run from affordable to ridiculously extravagant. For example,
- 1:48Speaker 1: there's a twenty five dollars memory journal, which is probably
- 1:52Speaker 1: something I need, and a seventeen thousand dollars necklace. But
- 1:57Speaker 1: Gwyneth also believes your mom should pleasure herself this year
- 2:01Speaker 1: with the Womanizer Enhance love toy. It's only one hundred
- 2:05Speaker 1: and fifty nine dollars plus shipping. But isn't your mother's
- 2:09Speaker 1: happiness priceless? Now? Trey feels it very much has a
- 2:17Speaker 1: price tag on it now. Look, Gwyneth Paltrow doesn't even
- 2:20Speaker 1: know which Marvel movies she's been in, so I will
- 2:22Speaker 1: not be taking any gift giving advice from her. So
- 2:26Speaker 1: if not an adult love toy for mom, what is
- 2:31Speaker 1: what is your Mother's Day gift planned?
- 2:33Speaker 2: This year? Trey will start with you because you're the one.
- 2:38Speaker 1: That I'm really mostly curious about to get an answer,
- 2:40Speaker 1: What do you do it for your mom for Mother's Day?
- 2:43Speaker 2: Besides not throwing her downstairs?
- 2:46Speaker 4: It'd be more rolling her at this point?
- 2:50Speaker 1: Yeah, because you're right, it would be like you just
- 2:53Speaker 1: lean down and whisper. It's like, Mom, all I gotta
- 2:55Speaker 1: do is just one little push.
- 2:58Speaker 4: Uh, getting her nothing, taking her to lunch?
- 3:05Speaker 1: Hmm, that's something. So your gift is your presence?
- 3:10Speaker 3: Is it?
- 3:10Speaker 4: Like my plan? Is actually, I'm gonna go see my
- 3:13Speaker 4: stepmother on Mother's Day and then I'm gonna take my
- 3:15Speaker 4: mother to lunch on Monday.
- 3:17Speaker 2: Is your mom going to know?
- 3:18Speaker 1: And I mean this mostly respectfully, is your mom going
- 3:22Speaker 1: to know it's not Mother's Day and it's the day after.
- 3:26Speaker 4: It depends on the day.
- 3:29Speaker 2: That's the beauty.
- 3:30Speaker 1: That's the one good thing about having a mom who
- 3:34Speaker 1: doesn't necessarily who isn't necessarily all there mentally as you
- 3:38Speaker 1: can tell her that it's Mother's Day, even if it's Monday.
- 3:41Speaker 4: No, with my mom, anything that could be associated with guilt,
- 3:46Speaker 4: she'll remember.
- 3:49Speaker 5: Fair enough and by and by lunchry like is it
- 3:52Speaker 5: like a sitting down lunch or you just like through
- 3:54Speaker 5: the drive through and then the back of the house.
- 3:56Speaker 1: He's just gonna roll her through the Taco Bell drive through.
- 4:00Speaker 4: Go what you want?
- 4:01Speaker 2: Girl, Look, Mama, it's either this or the stairs.
- 4:06Speaker 3: I don't know which fate is worse.
- 4:10Speaker 2: Rise.
- 4:11Speaker 1: I know that your your mother has uh has passed on,
- 4:14Speaker 1: so I won't I won't bother you with this question
- 4:16Speaker 1: unless you have certain something specially you do for Mother's
- 4:19Speaker 1: Day for your mom. But Jerry, what what about you?
- 4:24Speaker 1: Where are you going to get for your mama.
- 4:27Speaker 2: Well, both of my mothers have also passed.
- 4:30Speaker 1: Okay, so it'll be so now it's a money saving holiday.
- 4:37Speaker 6: Uh yeah, there there there will be phone call to
- 4:42Speaker 6: the mother figures on Mother's Day.
- 4:45Speaker 2: Gotcha?
- 4:45Speaker 3: Oh gotcha.
- 4:47Speaker 5: Yeah, there's not a Hallmark card for like, happy Mother's Day,
- 4:49Speaker 5: you're dead.
- 4:50Speaker 2: Yeah, I've looked. It's well, also, where would you send it?
- 4:57Speaker 2: There's a little slot, there's a gravesite slept in there.
- 5:01Speaker 4: That's not a bad idea.
- 5:02Speaker 2: Actually do like you should.
- 5:04Speaker 1: Actually they should make those at cemeteries a little male
- 5:08Speaker 1: slots you can drop stuff in.
- 5:10Speaker 3: Yeah, I would put no soliciting on mine.
- 5:15Speaker 4: I'd send them junk mail.
- 5:21Speaker 3: But I'm Indian enough. I'm Indian enough to where I'm like,
- 5:23Speaker 3: let's keep the coupons.
- 5:26Speaker 2: Spam the Dead.
- 5:30Speaker 3: Just so a great name for a punk rock band. Dead.
- 5:36Speaker 1: Just just keep inserting car warranty coupons in there. Uh yeah, so,
- 5:44Speaker 1: I mean Mother's Day. Not everyone has the best gift ideas,
- 5:47Speaker 1: And I certainly wouldn't go to Gwyneth Paltrow for gift
- 5:50Speaker 1: giving ideas. And I'm not sure if anyone really would
- 5:54Speaker 1: actually give their mama an adult toy for Mother's Day.
- 5:58Speaker 1: If so, you can check out Gwyneth Paltrow's recommendation what
- 6:02Speaker 1: are you doing for Yours?
- 6:03Speaker 2: Dan?
- 6:06Speaker 1: The new tradition for Mother's Day is me having TIFF's
- 6:12Speaker 1: Treats delivered because I know my mom likes cookies and
- 6:19Speaker 1: ice cream and I can send both through TIFFs Treats.
- 6:23Speaker 1: It's not a paid endorsement from Tips Treats, although if
- 6:26Speaker 1: they would like to Treehouse on air at gmail dot
- 6:29Speaker 1: com would be happy to spark a paid relationship. But yeah,
- 6:35Speaker 1: usually it's TIFFs Treats because you know I Because remember
- 6:38Speaker 1: back when we were on the Eagle, we would do
- 6:41Speaker 1: the Sherry's Berries endorsement stuff. So once the marketing agency
- 6:47Speaker 1: realized that Russ hated his mom and wasn't sending the
- 6:51Speaker 1: berries to her, we were all just eating them, the
- 6:54Speaker 1: account shifted to me because I would send them to
- 6:56Speaker 1: my mom. But it was soon after I realized that
- 6:59Speaker 1: my mom doesn't like fruit of any kind, so they
- 7:02Speaker 1: were really wasted on her. So then I shifted over
- 7:05Speaker 1: to the TIFFs Streets. Can't go wrong with the cookies,
- 7:09Speaker 1: and those.
- 7:09Speaker 3: Are really good cookies.
- 7:11Speaker 4: If we got sponsored by Tiff Streets the boxes on
- 7:14Speaker 4: this you know, broadcast this thing, are not big enough.
- 7:17Speaker 4: I would I would be I would be five hundred pounds.
- 7:21Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 7:22Speaker 1: The video boxes that we use to record video on
- 7:25Speaker 1: this show would need to be double landscape.
- 7:27Speaker 4: Yeah. I can say no to alcohol, I can say
- 7:30Speaker 4: no to cigarettes. I cannot say no to a stick
- 7:32Speaker 4: or doodle.

- 9:17Speaker 1: the tree House Show on Daniel Malley along with Trey Trenholm,
- 9:19Speaker 1: Roj Sharma and Jerry Caledwell on a facty uh, Raj,
- 9:24Speaker 1: what was it you were just telling?
- 9:25Speaker 2: Jerry?
- 9:26Speaker 3: Oh, I mean his goate is coming in strong. I
- 9:29Speaker 3: can admire that.
- 9:31Speaker 2: Yeah, thank you.
- 9:33Speaker 1: You're starting to look like a Sons of Anarchy extra
- 9:36Speaker 1: nicely done.
- 9:38Speaker 3: Or just Chad Kroger let himself go or never was,
- 9:46Speaker 3: Yeah you should. You should just like roll up to
- 9:48Speaker 3: the Ritz Carlton and be like, I'm the lead singer Nickelback.
- 9:51Speaker 1: And just see what they do, because if they look
- 9:55Speaker 1: up a photo, yeah, and hold it next to your face.
- 9:58Speaker 2: It probably worked.
- 10:00Speaker 3: Yeah, you can just go look at this photograph.
- 10:02Speaker 1: Just start singing the song to let you right. Okay,
- 10:06Speaker 1: that's clearly him.
- 10:06Speaker 2: Yeah, thank you for the tip. Yeah oh yeah.
- 10:11Speaker 6: Yeah, I just recently got some some tips on taking.
- 10:15Speaker 4: Care of it.
- 10:15Speaker 2: I got a new beard oil. Okay, yeah, do.
- 10:19Speaker 1: You get Do they have that at Defender Outdoors or
- 10:21Speaker 1: is it just gunned oil or can you use like
- 10:25Speaker 1: a little bit of both.
- 10:27Speaker 3: I use coconut oil so that that helps a lot.
- 10:31Speaker 1: Meanwhile, Trey is looking all of us with our facial
- 10:34Speaker 1: hair and just with a big fu light up sign.
- 10:39Speaker 5: Trey hasn't shaved in three weeks. I shaved this morning
- 10:47Speaker 5: before I came on.
- 10:49Speaker 2: Looks like this trade, is it.
- 10:51Speaker 1: Are you ever envious of really strong facial hair game Like,
- 10:56Speaker 1: not not me so much, but like Aaraj especially or
- 10:59Speaker 1: a specially Jerry looking at how strong his go tea
- 11:02Speaker 1: looks right now?
- 11:02Speaker 2: Do you ever think, man, I wish I could, or
- 11:04Speaker 2: are you happy without it?
- 11:06Speaker 4: In general? I'm happy without it, but occasionally, yeah, I'm
- 11:09Speaker 4: like that. That'd be cool if I, uh, I didn't
- 11:12Speaker 4: live like a leper when I didn't shave for a week.
- 11:16Speaker 5: Like, Okay, So if you could grow facial hair, Trey, like,
- 11:19Speaker 5: what would be the like, what would you do just
- 11:21Speaker 5: go straight mustache or you want to go full beard
- 11:24Speaker 5: or like Raja.
- 11:26Speaker 1: I'm glad you asked this because I think Trey would
- 11:28Speaker 1: look really good with just a mustache.
- 11:31Speaker 2: Classic.
- 11:32Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 11:33Speaker 4: I don't think I can ultimately even like facial hair.
- 11:37Speaker 4: Just no, I don't think I could ever do it
- 11:41Speaker 4: for long. But yeah, just just the ability to grow
- 11:44Speaker 4: a full beard would be would be cool.
- 11:47Speaker 6: Well, the go tee is not by choice. This is
- 11:51Speaker 6: all I can grow the parts that have no hair
- 11:54Speaker 6: on them. It just doesn't grow there.
- 11:56Speaker 1: So the cheeks have no growth, but everything around your
- 11:59Speaker 1: mouth grows.
- 12:00Speaker 6: Yes, there's just a little bit of shaping, just a
- 12:04Speaker 6: little bit because I have a few colonists that have
- 12:06Speaker 6: kind of tried to secede out here on my cheeks,
- 12:09Speaker 6: so I have to get rid of those.
- 12:10Speaker 2: But other than that, it's this is it?
- 12:14Speaker 4: Wow?
- 12:15Speaker 3: That must be nice.
- 12:17Speaker 1: It's amazing to have that much growth in one area
- 12:20Speaker 1: but not the rest of the air.
- 12:22Speaker 3: That's so weird.
- 12:24Speaker 5: Yeah, I have to trim my beard at least once
- 12:26Speaker 5: a week, if not twice.
- 12:27Speaker 3: Yeah, because it grows that fast.
- 12:30Speaker 2: I didn't get any hair on my chest until I
- 12:31Speaker 2: was in my thirties.
- 12:33Speaker 3: That's weird.
- 12:34Speaker 2: That is super weird. Now, did you freak out too?
- 12:38Speaker 2: Really well? I mean a little bit, because it's two really.
- 12:42Speaker 6: Long ones on each side right there around the around
- 12:48Speaker 6: the area of there, and I mean we're talking like
- 12:51Speaker 6: long when you pull them out.
- 12:54Speaker 3: Why don't you just shave? That's first of all, oh.
- 13:00Speaker 2: Well said.
- 13:01Speaker 3: He just went, Yeah, you know, I didn't go any
- 13:03Speaker 3: chest hair, but you didn't either. You just have nipple hair.
- 13:06Speaker 3: That's what you have, So just shave it.
- 13:09Speaker 4: I mean, I'm not.
- 13:09Speaker 1: Even sure if that classifies his hair. It just sounds
- 13:11Speaker 1: like two nipple vines.
- 13:15Speaker 4: I have no chest hair.
- 13:17Speaker 2: What do you seal?
- 13:20Speaker 4: Welsh Irish? I think there's the.
- 13:23Speaker 2: That'll do.
- 13:24Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm not even wearing a black shirt. This is
- 13:26Speaker 3: just what my test.
- 13:28Speaker 2: Man.
- 13:29Speaker 1: Can you imagine how much fun Tray has on a
- 13:31Speaker 1: slipping slide? He just keeps going, yeah, like there, there's there, there,
- 13:37Speaker 1: there's a there's a wall at the end, and it's needed.
- 13:39Speaker 1: Otherwise Tray would Trey would still be going.
- 13:44Speaker 3: People the water park must love you. He just like
- 13:46Speaker 3: he's done in two seconds, he's already in the water.
- 13:51Speaker 1: Speaking of which, r I p to the black Hole
- 13:55Speaker 1: in Arlington, Texas got got torn down recently at Hurricane Harbor,
- 14:01Speaker 1: or as we all knew it when we were kids,
- 14:03Speaker 1: Wet and Wild When and Wild? Yeah, the black Hole
- 14:06Speaker 1: was an iconic ride right there off of I thirty
- 14:11Speaker 1: in Arlington, and it recently got torn down, making way
- 14:14Speaker 1: for a new a ride, a new attraction, something that
- 14:18Speaker 1: tray can can slip down in a matter of seconds.
- 14:20Speaker 4: What was the other So there were at one point
- 14:22Speaker 4: there were two water parks in Arlington. What was the other? One?
- 14:28Speaker 2: Two in Arlington?
- 14:29Speaker 4: Yes, there was Wet and Wild, there was something else.
- 14:32Speaker 4: Then Six Flags ended up buying them both, and I
- 14:34Speaker 4: think basically kind of combining them into one.
- 14:37Speaker 1: What I remember out of that was you had what
- 14:41Speaker 1: and Wild and next door to it was I think
- 14:44Speaker 1: it was fund Sphere. Yeah, it was like a go
- 14:47Speaker 1: kart arcade type thing. They bought that and combined it
- 14:52Speaker 1: because I remember doing go karts there at fund Sphere
- 14:54Speaker 1: and video games. I don't remember there being a second.
- 14:58Speaker 2: Water the water parks, there was a I.
- 15:01Speaker 1: Do I do remember a second Wet and Wild in Garland.
- 15:06Speaker 2: It was originally Whitewater, Yes, Whitewater, yes, okay, that was
- 15:11Speaker 2: in Garland. That was where I almost died.
- 15:15Speaker 3: Yeah, I think everybody in Garland.
- 15:17Speaker 4: What and Wild Garland is where I maybe it was
- 15:19Speaker 4: started out as Whitewater and then it went to Wet
- 15:21Speaker 4: and Wild And I.
- 15:24Speaker 3: Know what you're talking about. It's a It was a
- 15:26Speaker 3: place called surf and swim surf in Garland.
- 15:30Speaker 5: They had one there, and they had one in Arlington,
- 15:33Speaker 5: a wave They had a wave pool and the Yeah.
- 15:35Speaker 2: Okay, maybe that's the one.
- 15:38Speaker 5: Yeah, it's the Wet and Wild in Garland turned into
- 15:42Speaker 5: a CarMax.
- 15:45Speaker 2: Much safer that way.
- 15:46Speaker 3: But I don't know about that.
- 15:47Speaker 1: But okay, I may not have a good memory, but
- 15:51Speaker 1: I remember this day in eighth grade. Uh it was
- 15:56Speaker 1: I went with my buddy Brad and we went to
- 15:59Speaker 1: what Wild Garland.
- 16:01Speaker 2: That looking back on it, that should have.
- 16:03Speaker 1: Been a red flag. But I forget what the ride
- 16:06Speaker 1: was called. But it was the really tall one. It
- 16:08Speaker 1: was the tallest ride at wet Wild.
- 16:10Speaker 6: Just the white lightning, white lightning, white lightning, and it
- 16:14Speaker 6: happened at the end.
- 16:16Speaker 2: Okay, I don't know.
- 16:16Speaker 1: I've had a timer but white Lightning also sounds like
- 16:19Speaker 1: Trey's nickname at the water park, but it was. It
- 16:22Speaker 1: was the ride where you you you take the stairs
- 16:25Speaker 1: all the way to the top of the platform and
- 16:27Speaker 1: it's just a long ramp going down right slide. But
- 16:32Speaker 1: there was a little bump in the middle of it,
- 16:34Speaker 1: like a little hump, and then it goes back down right,
- 16:36Speaker 1: So it wasn't just straight straight down. There's like a
- 16:39Speaker 1: little hump about a quarter of the way down. That's
- 16:43Speaker 1: where That's where it almost killed me because I go
- 16:47Speaker 1: phase first, I go down and when I hit the
- 16:49Speaker 1: hump on the slide, I got air and got I
- 16:54Speaker 1: get chills thinking about it to this day. I got
- 16:56Speaker 1: so much air my entire body left the slide and
- 17:01Speaker 1: I was no longer in contact with wet and wild garland.
- 17:05Speaker 1: And thank god I landed back in the slide, because
- 17:11Speaker 1: had I been a little left or a little right,
- 17:14Speaker 1: I would have.
- 17:14Speaker 2: Been a permanent stain on the concrete. At the New Carmacks.
- 17:19Speaker 3: Can you imagine Trey here? Mean the atmosphere.
- 17:24Speaker 2: Keep you up there next to the Tesla.

- 18:34Speaker 1: I'm Daniel Malling along with Trey Trendholm, Raj Sharma and
- 18:37Speaker 1: Jerry Caldwell. We're just sharing our childhood experiences of What
- 18:42Speaker 1: and Wild me specifically the time I almost died at
- 18:45Speaker 1: the What and Wild Garland as a child. Jerry, you
- 18:49Speaker 1: said the same thing happened to you.
- 18:50Speaker 6: I had a very similar experience. I was I was
- 18:55Speaker 6: a really skinny kid and I am going down this
- 19:00Speaker 6: thing white light and then baby and just I hit
- 19:04Speaker 6: that bump and I actually like started moving off the track.
- 19:09Speaker 6: There was enough wind that it and of course it
- 19:11Speaker 6: caught me and I landed, but I remember my left
- 19:16Speaker 6: side kind of hanging up on the edge of that
- 19:18Speaker 6: slide a little bit.
- 19:19Speaker 2: When I came back down, well.
- 19:23Speaker 3: Wow, yeah, I almost died.
- 19:24Speaker 5: I almost died at the surf and Swim in Garland,
- 19:27Speaker 5: I was it was a site, was a we we
- 19:29Speaker 5: came in I think like first or second from my
- 19:32Speaker 5: soccer team, and that that was the that was what
- 19:35Speaker 5: we won, was a little trip to the surf and
- 19:37Speaker 5: swim and I was just on my little raft, chilling
- 19:39Speaker 5: and joined the sun and I kind of drifted off
- 19:42Speaker 5: to sleep and I didn't hear the horn for the
- 19:45Speaker 5: wave pool and I just woke up to like just
- 19:47Speaker 5: but like being knocked over and I and I did.
- 19:50Speaker 5: I got knocked over, the raft tumbled over, I went
- 19:52Speaker 5: straight down and as I tried to swim up, every
- 19:54Speaker 5: wave coming down would pushed me back down. And there
- 19:57Speaker 5: was this Hispanic lady that was swimming with her kids
- 19:59Speaker 5: and she I loved it. It was just the most
- 20:01Speaker 5: immigrant move ever. She just grabbed me by my hair
- 20:05Speaker 5: and just pulled me up and just like swam me
- 20:09Speaker 5: to the swam me to the other side, just threw
- 20:11Speaker 5: me up on the little concrete and I was like, oh,
- 20:14Speaker 5: thank thank you so much for that.
- 20:16Speaker 2: Man.
- 20:16Speaker 3: Also, can I have pump a hairback?
- 20:21Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 20:21Speaker 1: I think that's how you can kind of define your
- 20:23Speaker 1: childhood is whether or not you almost drowned in the
- 20:27Speaker 1: wavepool at a water park.
- 20:29Speaker 2: And I'm with you. I had that. I almost did
- 20:32Speaker 2: a drowning. Yeah, yep.
- 20:34Speaker 4: But I mean even crazier than that. I mean, any
- 20:37Speaker 4: of y'all remember Lyon Country Safari. Yes, it was in
- 20:42Speaker 4: Grand Prairie, uh, kind of where the horse track is now,
- 20:47Speaker 4: But I mean literally you could drive through and it's
- 20:49Speaker 4: and in the beginning you drove through the lion and
- 20:54Speaker 4: tiger enclosures like they could come up to your car.
- 20:59Speaker 2: Bad idea. I forget trey.
- 21:02Speaker 1: At the Lion Country Safari, did they give you the
- 21:04Speaker 1: feed buckets? I mean, obviously not for the lion's part,
- 21:07Speaker 1: So gay children, here's a bucket of chum, have fun.
- 21:11Speaker 3: Well for the lions, you are the feed bucket.
- 21:12Speaker 4: I would like to say, well, you had people like
- 21:15Speaker 4: my crazy stepmother who, before going into the lion exhibit
- 21:19Speaker 4: would rub ground beef all over her car.
- 21:24Speaker 5: That is, hands down, in my almost fifty years on
- 21:29Speaker 5: this planet, and the majority of it in the state
- 21:32Speaker 5: of Texas. That is the whitest thing I've ever heard
- 21:35Speaker 5: anybody who say out loud.
- 21:38Speaker 3: There's there's people.
- 21:39Speaker 5: There are people that can't afford eggs right now, right
- 21:42Speaker 5: your mom was just taking ground chuck and just rolling
- 21:46Speaker 5: it on the on the buick.
- 21:48Speaker 2: Ugh, I am, I am thoroughly stunned.
- 21:53Speaker 1: That's that's the not only yeah, rise, it's one of
- 21:57Speaker 1: the whitest things even I've heard, But that may be
- 21:59Speaker 1: one the wildest things I have ever heard in my life.
- 22:05Speaker 4: Oh, she thought it was a great and it's funny
- 22:07Speaker 4: it was. It was a Buick skylark. Uh uh yeah, no,
- 22:14Speaker 4: she she thought it was the greatest thing ever.
- 22:19Speaker 2: I have to ask.
- 22:21Speaker 4: Did it work?
- 22:23Speaker 3: Oh yeah, of course.
- 22:24Speaker 2: Line's coming up licking the car.
- 22:27Speaker 3: They had a good time. The bumper's gone, but hey,
- 22:30Speaker 3: you know.
- 22:31Speaker 1: The tires is flat. Well it's a good thing. It
- 22:35Speaker 1: was a Buick her car.
- 22:37Speaker 4: At one point one time her car stalled out and
- 22:39Speaker 4: so they had the ranger guys had to come come
- 22:42Speaker 4: get her.
- 22:43Speaker 5: And uh so, yeah, wow, is that the one that
- 22:46Speaker 5: turned into International Wildlife Park?
- 22:49Speaker 4: No, I think so.
- 22:50Speaker 3: It was in Prie as well.
- 22:52Speaker 4: Uh, it was Lion Country Safari, and then I swear
- 22:56Speaker 4: maybe it was something else before, and then it was
- 22:58Speaker 4: Lion Country Safari, and then then it was you drove
- 23:01Speaker 4: through and certain parts they would give you a feed
- 23:03Speaker 4: bucket and you could feed like the giraffes and other
- 23:07Speaker 4: But then you would drive through the lion and tigers
- 23:10Speaker 4: and they were caged off and you could just look
- 23:12Speaker 4: at them. Obviously they couldn't come close to your car.
- 23:15Speaker 4: And then.
- 23:17Speaker 3: Lawsuit happened.
- 23:20Speaker 4: I know one person got their finger bitten by a giraffe,
- 23:24Speaker 4: and use people don't realize like those they'll bite anything.
- 23:30Speaker 4: I saw one bite the limbs of a camera.
- 23:33Speaker 1: Okay, okay, So at Lion Country Safari. M hm, your
- 23:42Speaker 1: step mom would cover the car and ground meat to
- 23:46Speaker 1: attract the attention of the lions.
- 23:50Speaker 2: Trey. You're an only child, right.
- 23:53Speaker 4: Mm hmm.
- 23:55Speaker 3: Child, that's the day we lost Gary.

- 24:43Speaker 1: car at Lion Country Safari Jesus Christ. It's all available

- 24:57Speaker 2: This is the Treehouse Show.
- 24:59Speaker 1: I'm Daniel Mallley along with Trey Trenholm, Raj Sharma and
- 25:02Speaker 1: Jerry Caldwell. This is unrelated to the previous topic, but
- 25:08Speaker 1: I bet we find a way to weave the two together.
- 25:11Speaker 1: Are you familiar with dinosaur Time? Have you heard of
- 25:16Speaker 1: dinosaur Time? It's not the subtitle to the new Jurassic
- 25:21Speaker 1: Park or it's not the new subtitle to the Jurassic
- 25:24Speaker 1: World movie no one asked for with Scarlett Johanson.
- 25:27Speaker 2: That was my mistake.
- 25:28Speaker 1: Dinosaur Time is the new viral food trend, and surprise, surprise,
- 25:34Speaker 1: it's stupid. Dinosaur Time involves grabbing handfuls of greens like
- 25:41Speaker 1: let us spindat your kale, and then just stucking them
- 25:44Speaker 1: in their mouth and then chewing them quickly, mimicking how
- 25:47Speaker 1: herbivores ate during the Mesozoic era. Yes, really, social media
- 25:53Speaker 1: is to blame, specifically at Something's Up sa h mta
- 26:00Speaker 1: h I n g s up, social media user at
- 26:04Speaker 1: Something's Up is believed to be behind the viral videos,
- 26:08Speaker 1: and she said on her TikTok that it's a way
- 26:10Speaker 1: to boost your consumption of greens. She says the goal
- 26:14Speaker 1: is simply to eat at least a full serving of
- 26:16Speaker 1: green veggies before a meal, ideally quickly and while channeling
- 26:20Speaker 1: a hungry dinosaur. She says, I just grab a large
- 26:24Speaker 1: handful and eat everything I grab. Dinosaur time is more
- 26:27Speaker 1: about the goal than the process.
- 26:31Speaker 6: I have never seen any of these videos, but I
- 26:34Speaker 6: would just like to say that's how I eat salad.
- 26:38Speaker 2: Like a dinosaur with a little a.
- 26:43Speaker 4: This is why we're losing rex with they didn't eat salad.
- 26:50Speaker 2: Touche.
- 26:52Speaker 5: You guys are stuffing greens in your face and meanwhile
- 26:54Speaker 5: in China they're learning math and science.
- 26:58Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, you're right. I think this. I think this
- 27:00Speaker 2: is one of the symptoms of a greater problem.
- 27:06Speaker 3: Wow, that is.
- 27:07Speaker 6: A really if I haven't gotten my you know, my
- 27:10Speaker 6: greens intake for the day, you know, it's like two
- 27:13Speaker 6: cups of leafy vegetables. I will just grab a bag
- 27:17Speaker 6: and just like eat them like a bag of potato
- 27:19Speaker 6: chips until I get my okay, my two cups.
- 27:22Speaker 1: And well, according to this new social media trend, the
- 27:25Speaker 1: idea is just to do it really really quickly, so
- 27:28Speaker 1: that way you can move on to something tastier and
- 27:31Speaker 1: then that way you get your daily allotment of vegetables.
- 27:35Speaker 1: And since around the topic, I'd like to take this
- 27:37Speaker 1: opportunity to announce my new viral food trend, the airplane.
- 27:41Speaker 1: All I gotta do is grab up spoon or a
- 27:43Speaker 1: fork loaded up with veggies and pretend it's a plane
- 27:45Speaker 1: that needs to land in your mouth. Yes, you can
- 27:49Speaker 1: do this yourself, but it does help if your mom
- 27:51Speaker 1: or dad are around to hold the spoon and make
- 27:53Speaker 1: the airplane noises.
- 27:55Speaker 4: What about what about whye for you?
- 27:57Speaker 7: Dan?
- 27:59Speaker 2: She'll have to do that eventually when I have my stroke.
- 28:01Speaker 1: Yeah, I know what's coming, all I all.
- 28:07Speaker 3: I just picture is you in a high chair? Now,
- 28:11Speaker 3: leg's kicking. There's Daniel with a big pencil.
- 28:14Speaker 1: Except for me, it's not a high chair. It's it's normal.
- 28:16Speaker 3: I'm sure got your little on every chair is a
- 28:23Speaker 3: high chair.
- 28:25Speaker 1: Yeah, when you're when you're when you're a short king,
- 28:28Speaker 1: every chair is a high chair.
- 28:35Speaker 4: At dinner times, Terra is in the front going open
- 28:37Speaker 4: my Danny here comes.
- 28:46Speaker 2: Got to make sure I remember which room I'm in
- 28:48Speaker 2: so I know where to open.
- 28:50Speaker 3: Still make airplane noises.
- 28:59Speaker 7: You're in the Treehouse.

- 29:35Speaker 1: This is the Treehouse Show. I'm Dan, He's Trey, that's Raj,
- 29:38Speaker 1: and there is Jerry. Today is Fridday, May ninth, twenty
- 29:45Speaker 1: twenty five. Let's celebrate with some birthdays turning twenty nine today.
- 29:53Speaker 1: Noah Centennio. Noah Centennio turns twenty nine today. Is the
- 29:58Speaker 1: heartthrob from the Netflix by series The Recruit. He was
- 30:02Speaker 1: also Adam Smasher in the Rocks Black Adam movie. Not
- 30:07Speaker 1: the guy that did Knights on Hot one hundred or
- 30:09Speaker 1: kiss Him at one point. That's a different Adam Smasher.
- 30:12Speaker 1: This is the one from the comic book movie. So,
- 30:15Speaker 1: Noah Centineo turns twenty nine today. Mary Mauser is also
- 30:21Speaker 1: twenty nine. I believe did we mention her earlier today?
- 30:25Speaker 2: Now that was yesterday. It was yesterday.
- 30:28Speaker 1: We were talking about how good Trey looks age wise
- 30:30Speaker 1: compared to Rue McClanahan, who played Blanche in Golden Girls,
- 30:35Speaker 1: and Raj, you brought up Ralph Maccio's daughter in Cobra
- 30:41Speaker 1: Kai right, yes, playing a high school kid.
- 30:45Speaker 2: Today's her birthday.
- 30:48Speaker 4: Again.
- 30:48Speaker 1: This is why we do birthdays, because they have a
- 30:51Speaker 1: we get really weird random content out of it, and
- 30:54Speaker 1: sometimes the birthdays sneak in and become very timely based
- 30:59Speaker 1: on something in no Ocus that we've thrown out recently.
- 31:02Speaker 1: And this is a great example of that. Raj mentioned
- 31:04Speaker 1: her yesterday and here it is. Today is her birthday.
- 31:07Speaker 1: Mary Mauser is twenty nine Today. She plays daniels Son's
- 31:10Speaker 1: daughter Samuel Samantha LaRusso on Cobra Khai. Other birthdays today.
- 31:17Speaker 1: Grace Gummer is Meryl Streep's daughter. She's thirty nine. She
- 31:22Speaker 1: plays FBI agent Dominique de pierro on Mister Robot. She
- 31:26Speaker 1: was also on Halle Berry's Extant and played the Amazing
- 31:30Speaker 1: Lizard Girl on American Horror Story Freak Show from the Hills.
- 31:33Speaker 1: Adoring a Partridge is forty Prince Fielder, former Texas Ranger
- 31:37Speaker 1: and son of Cecil is forty one. Rosario Doson Doson Jesus,
- 31:46Speaker 1: I think I just accidentally stumbled onto what her bully
- 31:48Speaker 1: name was in school. Rosario Dawson is forty six. She
- 31:52Speaker 1: plays Ahsoka Tano in Ahsoka the Mandalorian and the Book
- 31:55Speaker 1: of Boba Fett. She was also in Rent, Been in
- 31:58Speaker 1: Black Two, Sin City, Grindhouse, and a bunch of other movies.
- 32:01Speaker 1: She Andrew WK is forty six today. Andrew WK is
- 32:06Speaker 1: forty six today. Jerry, were you there the day when
- 32:09Speaker 1: we were on the air at the Eagle when Andrew
- 32:11Speaker 1: WK came in the studio and he ate one of
- 32:13Speaker 1: the brownies from our Tips Treats box.
- 32:19Speaker 2: I don't know, right, If you don't remember, then it
- 32:21Speaker 2: was probably a no.
- 32:22Speaker 1: We also mentioned Tips Treats earlier talking about what to
- 32:27Speaker 1: get Mom for Mother's Day, and there's another tie in
- 32:30Speaker 1: right there. We actually had tip streets delivered to the
- 32:32Speaker 1: station one day and Andrew WK was visiting and he
- 32:34Speaker 1: ate one of our brownies.
- 32:36Speaker 2: That's okay, not a in the window. He just date
- 32:40Speaker 2: an actual brownie.
- 32:41Speaker 3: It was just was he just very high?
- 32:43Speaker 2: No, he was just cool. Okay, this this very cool guy.
- 32:47Speaker 4: All right.
- 32:47Speaker 2: Love loved the brownie.
- 32:52Speaker 1: Also celebrating a birthday today, actor John Corbett is sixty four.
- 32:56Speaker 1: He played Aiden on Sex and the City, Chris the
- 32:59Speaker 1: disc jockey on Northern Exposure, and the non Greek groom
- 33:02Speaker 1: in My Big Fat Greek Wedding.
- 33:04Speaker 2: John Corbett termed sixty four. Billy Joel is seventy six.
- 33:09Speaker 3: Wow, yeah he looks he looks great.
- 33:13Speaker 1: Yeah, his biggest hits. It's still rock and roll to
- 33:16Speaker 1: me my life. Tell her about it, piano man. We
- 33:18Speaker 1: didn't start the Fire, which was bravely taken on and
- 33:22Speaker 1: covered with the twenty first century version by Fallout Boy.
- 33:26Speaker 3: Yeah, I liked it. I liked the version. It was
- 33:29Speaker 3: pretty good.
- 33:29Speaker 1: That's a man, that's a that's a tall order is
- 33:32Speaker 1: to walk into his studio one day and say, all right,
- 33:35Speaker 1: we're going to redo we didn't start the fire.
- 33:37Speaker 3: But when you have to ask, you have to ask.
- 33:39Speaker 5: Billy Joel first, what, yeah, yeah, and he has to
- 33:41Speaker 5: go yep, that sounds good, Like what are you gonna
- 33:43Speaker 5: do with it? That's why Michael Jackson only allowed weird
- 33:46Speaker 5: Al Yankovic to do parodies because he loved everything that
- 33:50Speaker 5: that guy did. And then alien Edform did a smooth
- 33:53Speaker 5: criminal and he just loved That's the weirdest thing in
- 33:55Speaker 5: the world.
- 33:56Speaker 3: He loved alien an Form.
- 33:57Speaker 2: That is very random.
- 33:59Speaker 1: And I'm usually to me, the whole you know, doing
- 34:04Speaker 1: a cover song is I'm not even sure if fifty
- 34:07Speaker 1: to fifty is a good you know, percentage to give
- 34:10Speaker 1: it because usually a lot of the cover songs I hear,
- 34:13Speaker 1: I'm like, why did you bother? Like, unless you know
- 34:16Speaker 1: that you have somehow completely turned it on its head
- 34:20Speaker 1: or made it better than the original, just don't even
- 34:22Speaker 1: mess with it. Yes, there are very few examples where
- 34:26Speaker 1: a cover song beat the original, kind of like a
- 34:28Speaker 1: sequel in movies.
- 34:29Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, probably the best cover that I can
- 34:33Speaker 4: think of is Chris Stapleton's Tennessee Whiskey, who was the
- 34:36Speaker 4: original George.
- 34:37Speaker 5: Jones Okay, gotcha, and then nothing compares to you Snat O'Connor,
- 34:41Speaker 5: which was a Prince song.
- 34:43Speaker 3: MM hmm, that's a pretty good one.
- 34:45Speaker 2: Yeah. But he gave her that song, right, yes, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 34:48Speaker 4: Yeah, he had released nothing compared to you, but it
- 34:50Speaker 4: would never really hit. Yeah yeah, it never really got
- 34:53Speaker 4: any airplay or anything.
- 34:54Speaker 1: But yeah, that was but give it to the Bald
- 34:56Speaker 1: White Chickens number one.
- 34:59Speaker 5: Yeah, that was the first time I saw a bald
- 35:01Speaker 5: white girl and I was like, that chick is hot.
- 35:04Speaker 5: That is a hot and then Doloroso Rearden's like, hold
- 35:07Speaker 5: my beer from the cranbers.
- 35:09Speaker 3: I was like, she is way hotter.
- 35:12Speaker 1: Yeah, but I think Shad O'Connor got jealous of it,
- 35:15Speaker 1: so she took that beard and shoved it in her button.
- 35:19Speaker 2: I'm serious. Sad O'Connor was really into butt stuff.
- 35:22Speaker 4: I love and sadly Delora Reard and needed someone to
- 35:26Speaker 4: actually take her beer away.
- 35:29Speaker 2: That's true.

- 36:20Speaker 7: Even much thru.
- 36:23Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, full disclosure.
- 36:28Speaker 1: I am still absolutely shook about the revelation Tray laid
- 36:35Speaker 1: on us earlier today. Is it has anyone recovered from
- 36:42Speaker 1: from this information that that Trey shared earlier.
- 36:46Speaker 2: From the beef buick?
- 36:47Speaker 1: Yeah, because I think that's gonna stay with me at
- 36:52Speaker 1: least all weekend and maybe for the rest of my life.
- 36:56Speaker 1: I like to think when when it comes to entertainment,
- 36:59Speaker 1: especially when it comes to you know, radio shows, podcasts,
- 37:03Speaker 1: even you know, visual things as well, I refer to
- 37:06Speaker 1: things that are like sticky moments, things that you wouldn't
- 37:09Speaker 1: expect to stick in people's minds, but they do.
- 37:13Speaker 2: This is a big one.
- 37:16Speaker 1: I am never going to forget the day that Trey
- 37:19Speaker 1: shared with us when his stepmom took him to Lion Country,
- 37:22Speaker 1: Safari as a child. She smeared ground beef all over
- 37:26Speaker 1: the entire car to attract the lions.
- 37:31Speaker 3: Was she just trying to kill one of y'all?
- 37:32Speaker 5: I don't understand what the goal was, Like, that's a
- 37:37Speaker 5: solid alibi, you know, hey, we were just driving through
- 37:40Speaker 5: lion got him?
- 37:41Speaker 2: Yeah, makes sense.
- 37:43Speaker 4: My stepmother loves big cats, like she has always lions anything.
- 37:51Speaker 4: It wasn't like this wasn't just a one time thing.
- 37:54Speaker 4: H she did it on multiple occasions.
- 37:58Speaker 5: I want to eat like the clear cooat off the.
- 38:01Speaker 2: Their tongues are rough.
- 38:03Speaker 1: For the record, more than one time doing this is
- 38:06Speaker 1: what the authorities were is what the authorities referred to
- 38:09Speaker 1: as a repeat offender trade.
- 38:13Speaker 4: And this is you know, mind you this is like
- 38:15Speaker 4: nineteen seventy nine, nineteen eighty. I don't there were no laws.
- 38:23Speaker 2: The wild West out there.
- 38:25Speaker 1: You just you go in the line country Safari and
- 38:27Speaker 1: you just leave the doors open the wild West.
- 38:30Speaker 4: Name something that was in Grand Prairie in nineteen eighty.
- 38:36Speaker 3: She would just she would just you know, rub the
- 38:38Speaker 3: rub the muke down with meat and put me on
- 38:40Speaker 3: the hood.
- 38:43Speaker 2: Instead of watch.
- 38:49Speaker 3: Every time you guys left the parks like damnit, he
- 38:51Speaker 3: lived again.
- 38:54Speaker 2: I'm really surprised because if.
- 38:58Speaker 1: Her going to such an extreme to wipe, you know,
- 39:01Speaker 1: to to put ground beef on the car, did did
- 39:07Speaker 1: you ever think that maybe she would send you out
- 39:10Speaker 1: into the field as well, because I mean, that doesn't
- 39:13Speaker 1: seem to be that big of elite.
- 39:16Speaker 5: Now yeah it does, Okay, Now all I see is
- 39:21Speaker 5: like like eight year old tray and a ground beef blazer.
- 39:27Speaker 1: All of the name for taking a really cool photo.
- 39:31Speaker 1: But by the by the way that has happened. There
- 39:33Speaker 1: was I think it was in Africa somewhere shocking. There
- 39:37Speaker 1: was a there was a guy who was there doing
- 39:39Speaker 1: a tour with his family. He left the vehicle to
- 39:41Speaker 1: try to get closer photos of the lions, and wouldn't
- 39:44Speaker 1: you know.
- 39:45Speaker 2: It, they ate him.
- 39:47Speaker 1: So to say that your mom would, your step mom
- 39:49Speaker 1: would cover the car and ground beef. It wouldn't shock
- 39:53Speaker 1: me if then you said that she would say, all right,
- 39:55Speaker 1: go out there and try and get a photo with
- 39:56Speaker 1: the lioness.
- 39:59Speaker 7: She was.
- 40:00Speaker 4: That's stupid. I mean it was a convertible.
- 40:03Speaker 5: Yeah, you know, the Buke skylarg didn't have a sun roof.
- 40:08Speaker 1: Good thing you weren't driving that convertible rabbit. It had
- 40:12Speaker 1: power windows.
- 40:13Speaker 3: Though whose idea?
- 40:16Speaker 5: Like she had to somebody had told like she didn't
- 40:19Speaker 5: come up with that on her own. Oh yeah she did.
- 40:22Speaker 3: Really, that's almost diabolical.
- 40:25Speaker 4: I like you have. Jackie is one of a kind,
- 40:31Speaker 4: and like she is like there was never any halfway
- 40:36Speaker 4: with her. It's always, you know, all the way. And
- 40:40Speaker 4: so she wanted to have the you know, the close
- 40:43Speaker 4: encounter with the big cats, and so that was the
- 40:45Speaker 4: best way. I mean, and she would literally this isn't
- 40:47Speaker 4: something like she would have it in the back seat
- 40:49Speaker 4: and then before you went into the lion enclosure, she
- 40:52Speaker 4: would get out, rub the car car with ground beef,
- 40:54Speaker 4: and get back in and drive ins premises. Oh yeah,
- 40:58Speaker 4: because well obviously they would stop you if they you
- 41:00Speaker 4: went rolling in there with ground beef.
- 41:03Speaker 1: So obviously yeah, yeah, you're right, Trey, You're right. She
- 41:07Speaker 1: certainly was not a woman that did things half fast.
- 41:10Speaker 1: I mean, if she was going to cover the car
- 41:11Speaker 1: in ground beef to go into the line enclosure, it
- 41:14Speaker 1: wasn't gonna be just half the car, it be the
- 41:16Speaker 1: whole car.
- 41:18Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 41:18Speaker 5: The only question in my head now this is and
- 41:20Speaker 5: I don't know why is was it like eighty twenty
- 41:22Speaker 5: or seventy thirty, Like what kind of.
- 41:26Speaker 4: Did they have a difference back then?
- 41:29Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 41:31Speaker 2: Can you measure from a tube?
- 41:33Speaker 3: Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Like, can you imagine the
- 41:34Speaker 3: guy like the meat section at Kroger's, Like, man, she
- 41:39Speaker 3: just loves ground beef. She looks good for as much
- 41:45Speaker 3: as much amburger sheets.
- 41:49Speaker 7: This is wow?
- 41:52Speaker 4: Yeah, how long were you?
- 41:55Speaker 1: Like would she just wait and just stop and let
- 41:59Speaker 1: the lions lick a car clean? Or does at some
- 42:01Speaker 1: point does someone show up and say, all right, come on,
- 42:04Speaker 1: keep it moving.
- 42:05Speaker 4: You you had you had to keep it moving, like
- 42:08Speaker 4: because I mean there are obviously cars behind you. So
- 42:12Speaker 4: that means so that's okay.
- 42:14Speaker 1: So that means there were people behind your car mm
- 42:18Speaker 1: hmm watching your step mom get out and start rubbing
- 42:22Speaker 1: ground beef on the car. Mm and no one imagine,
- 42:28Speaker 1: no one ever thought to like stop her and go like, hey,
- 42:30Speaker 1: I don't think you should do that.
- 42:32Speaker 5: Or not even that, Like can you imagine like if
- 42:34Speaker 5: nobody saw her do it? And then you're just like
- 42:37Speaker 5: slow rolling through the line enclosure and there's just this
- 42:41Speaker 5: line licking the car like the car behind is like,
- 42:43Speaker 5: what is like?
- 42:45Speaker 3: How do we get that?
- 42:48Speaker 7: You don't want to know?
- 42:54Speaker 1: No wonder trays attracted to crazy women. There you go,
- 43:00Speaker 1: It all makes sense. Tre Trey just had a breakthrough
