- 2:32Speaker 2: part of my father. This Sagmattorney in Corporated. I have
- 2:38Speaker 2: met him do social media and ever since then we
- 2:41Speaker 2: have been rocking it. So I want to know why
- 2:45Speaker 2: did you join this frag You know what means you
- 2:48Speaker 2: call into this flat call?
- 2:51Speaker 4: What got me?
- 2:52Speaker 5: What inspired? What got me to join this great fraternity
- 2:57Speaker 5: is because of the brotherhood, the scholarship, and I was
- 3:00Speaker 5: so the service, and I love the way they lead
- 3:02Speaker 5: by example, and I love the way they so love
- 3:07Speaker 5: and appreciation to every single brother that supported this fraternity.
- 3:11Speaker 2: All right, So what you said the word brotherhood? So
- 3:14Speaker 2: what does brotherhood means to you? You know in your
- 3:17Speaker 2: personal life? You know where you are going in school, church,
- 3:23Speaker 2: if you any place that you're going. So what does the.
- 3:25Speaker 3: Brotherhood means to you?
- 3:28Speaker 4: Brotherhood's means.
- 3:32Speaker 5: Letting them know that you love them, letting you know
- 3:34Speaker 5: that you're here for them, and letting you know like
- 3:38Speaker 5: I'm your brother's keeper and and things like that.
- 3:43Speaker 2: All right, So for so for me to give you
- 3:45Speaker 2: like a little more contact what you're saying, so for me?
- 3:48Speaker 5: Right?
- 3:49Speaker 2: So, brotherhood is where you can call a brother in
- 3:53Speaker 2: different over different states.
- 3:54Speaker 3: You know, brother's here to help you out when you
- 3:56Speaker 3: need it.
- 3:57Speaker 2: You know, to fellowship with you when you are actual
- 4:00Speaker 2: or down floor, when you are basically you.
- 4:03Speaker 3: Know, brothers. You know, we talk about uncomfortable conversation.
- 4:07Speaker 2: You know, mental help is one of our things we
- 4:09Speaker 2: talked about, you know, and I know in my chapter
- 4:11Speaker 2: we talk about it, you know, given as the community
- 4:14Speaker 2: is another thing. So what do you think, what is
- 4:18Speaker 2: the like the misunderstanding about you know, fratrinity, you know,
- 4:22Speaker 2: especially black ones.
- 4:26Speaker 5: What is the misunderstanding of it? I feel like at
- 4:33Speaker 5: times some people can sometimes sometimes people can get some
- 4:40Speaker 5: people not all can be can sometimes get a misperception
- 4:43Speaker 5: of cow fraternities, especially black ones can go because all fraternities,
- 4:50Speaker 5: especially the one, especially the ones of color, lead by
- 4:53Speaker 5: example the one, and we all serve up by we
- 4:57Speaker 5: all serve our community, will in any community if you
- 5:01Speaker 5: really think about it, not just our community, but every community,
- 5:05Speaker 5: because just the part of our motto, which is service.
- 5:11Speaker 2: Okay, okay, So let's let's get into your personal life.
- 5:14Speaker 2: You know, you said you are in school, So what
- 5:18Speaker 2: is the manager that you were taking out right now?
- 5:21Speaker 5: Honestly, I graduated, I was I'm a Lamna and graduate
- 5:29Speaker 5: and I graduated in English. But first I was a
- 5:32Speaker 5: biology major, but then I changed it to English and
- 5:35Speaker 5: this one I graduated with my bachelor's in English.
- 5:38Speaker 3: Oh god, what made you? What made you to biology first?
- 5:42Speaker 4: Yeah? Like y'all took that first.
- 5:47Speaker 3: And you can have biology.
- 5:49Speaker 2: Man, So what is the like one moment that you
- 5:52Speaker 2: can that you loved so much?
- 5:55Speaker 3: Were you even back in school? Like? What the moment
- 5:57Speaker 3: that you never forget about till to day?
- 6:02Speaker 5: The one the thing that I wouldn't forget about there
- 6:04Speaker 5: to never leave me. It's not it's the beautiful people
- 6:09Speaker 5: that I'm that have uh made friends with, the beautiful
- 6:14Speaker 5: the beautiful teachers. Who's the beautiful teachers that taught me
- 6:17Speaker 5: well and got me where I need to need it
- 6:20Speaker 5: to be and help me get this degree within help this,
- 6:26Speaker 5: help me get this degree that I genuinely have.
- 6:30Speaker 2: Okay, So what was some you know, some trials and
- 6:33Speaker 2: tribulation you have to go through when you got your degree?
- 6:37Speaker 4: Childs and tribulations. I'm not gonna lie.
- 6:42Speaker 5: It was. It was tough. It was tough. I didn't
- 6:46Speaker 5: I mean I can't. I kind of I expected to
- 6:50Speaker 5: be tough because I didn't expect it to be a
- 6:52Speaker 5: walking apart. So honestly honestly, through this child and tripulations,
- 6:58Speaker 5: I just told myself, I'm gonna fight through this. I'm
- 7:00Speaker 5: gonna get through this because there's nothing I can't handle.
- 7:04Speaker 2: Okay, okay, So who checked on you when you're really
- 7:08Speaker 2: you know not okay?
- 7:09Speaker 3: Who checked you? Who checked on.
- 7:11Speaker 2: You when you are you know, down, sad or stuff
- 7:15Speaker 2: like that? Why are you going through school when.
- 7:19Speaker 5: I when I'm going when I'm downstad when I'm going
- 7:21Speaker 5: through school and stuff. I have my amazing family, I
- 7:25Speaker 5: have my amazing friends and the amazing teachers. They just
- 7:33Speaker 5: give me a pep talk and let me know that
- 7:35Speaker 5: it's gonna be all right and you got this, and
- 7:38Speaker 5: I appreciate them for it.
- 7:41Speaker 2: I could say it with me. I would say, like
- 7:44Speaker 2: my friends, my my college friends. They has definitely been
- 7:49Speaker 2: with me. The thinking thing I would say that I
- 7:52Speaker 2: wasn't the I wouldn't say a wild I was like
- 7:55Speaker 2: the full call. They call it, like the father mother
- 8:00Speaker 2: of the whole group. Like if I'm meeting you, eat,
- 8:03Speaker 2: if I'm struggling, you don't struggle because I'm gonna make
- 8:06Speaker 2: sure you have something? Would you have and in the
- 8:10Speaker 2: fact that I make sure that you know the schoolwork
- 8:13Speaker 2: on time. You know, they get the things on time.
- 8:15Speaker 2: You know, we can party hard, we can do all
- 8:18Speaker 2: the other.
- 8:19Speaker 3: Things, but right we gonna get this. We're gonna get
- 8:22Speaker 3: the class. Were gonna get up. We get the class.
- 8:24Speaker 4: You got to got to get the class.
- 8:27Speaker 3: Because one thing about me to think for sure we
- 8:31Speaker 3: who will play with this degree?
- 8:33Speaker 4: Yeah that's a nobody.
- 8:36Speaker 5: No, that's serious thing, because I really degree can get
- 8:40Speaker 5: you places where you really can.
- 8:43Speaker 4: It can help you get to where you want to
- 8:44Speaker 4: go and where you really want to.
- 8:47Speaker 6: Be exactly, and also helps you get it also helps
- 8:53Speaker 6: you get job offers too, and ap of money.
- 9:02Speaker 3: To God like yo.
- 9:04Speaker 2: And then I tell people like you know, if a
- 9:07Speaker 2: school is not for you so so freshman year, because
- 9:10Speaker 2: you know we talk about freshman year, you know that
- 9:13Speaker 2: is your time to really get to know yourself and
- 9:16Speaker 2: really put yourself into the different environment that you are
- 9:20Speaker 2: uncomfortable with. In that first semester, you should know already
- 9:24Speaker 2: know you are ready for school at home? Are you
- 9:28Speaker 2: ready to turn off? It's it's it's that first semester.
- 9:32Speaker 2: If you're not ready for go home. Please do not
- 9:34Speaker 2: stay to your sophomore year dream. Ye're like and drop
- 9:37Speaker 2: out you just wasted some lc that could be here, right.
- 9:42Speaker 2: So I want to ask you, you know a question,
- 9:45Speaker 2: you know, you know what makes you you at the
- 9:50Speaker 2: end of the day. What makes you thrive to be
- 9:52Speaker 2: you at the end of the day. Like nobody can't
- 9:54Speaker 2: not tell you, Oh, I mean, this is me. You
- 9:58Speaker 2: can't tell them, you can't check my mind ain't.
- 10:00Speaker 3: So what makes you be you?
- 10:03Speaker 5: What makes me me is dead. I believe a lot
- 10:05Speaker 5: in myself just for one thing, just one just for
- 10:09Speaker 5: one thing and one thing for sure, one thing for certain.
- 10:13Speaker 5: I gotta believe in myself first, because I ain't nobody
- 10:16Speaker 5: gonna believe in me if I don't believe in me.
- 10:21Speaker 5: So with the belief that I have in myself and
- 10:23Speaker 5: the self motivations that I have for myself, it gives
- 10:27Speaker 5: me the strength and to give me the power to
- 10:31Speaker 5: get out, get up, get up, go out and go
- 10:34Speaker 5: get it.
- 10:35Speaker 3: Hey, you got to.
- 10:37Speaker 2: And I think with me, it takes so for me, right,
- 10:41Speaker 2: I am. I am good at a lot of things,
- 10:46Speaker 2: you know, I'm good with what basically it comes down
- 10:49Speaker 2: creative tivity, my creative mindset. You know, I can, you know,
- 10:53Speaker 2: write a book, I can write a poem, you know,
- 10:55Speaker 2: put off things.
- 10:56Speaker 3: It doesn't take me out long.
- 10:58Speaker 5: No.
- 10:58Speaker 3: Here at the talk. I like talking.
- 11:01Speaker 2: But I think for me being me in some stept
- 11:04Speaker 2: from the other people, like you said, Mike, I have
- 11:08Speaker 2: to put myself first, like I have to love me.
- 11:10Speaker 2: And if you don't love yourself, a lot of people
- 11:13Speaker 2: are not gonna love you. You know, that's the first
- 11:16Speaker 2: thing you come to, you know, when you loving somebody. Oh,
- 11:21Speaker 2: you know, you know you have to put yourself first.
- 11:24Speaker 2: So what is like I can say this, So what
- 11:29Speaker 2: is what do you like to do?
- 11:30Speaker 3: Like hobby wise?
- 11:34Speaker 4: Hobby wise?
- 11:35Speaker 5: I do love sports, so I'm a sports fanetic so
- 11:38Speaker 5: I'm a if anything, my hobby would be basketball. Oh gosh,
- 11:44Speaker 5: not on the day.
- 11:46Speaker 4: I sing. I'm a singer, so I sing.
- 11:52Speaker 2: Okay, you said you get in the basketball. What's your
- 11:54Speaker 2: favorite team.
- 11:57Speaker 4: Like basketball wise?
- 11:59Speaker 5: Lakers?
- 12:03Speaker 2: It's okay, it is not wrong that it is okay.
- 12:08Speaker 2: I'm not a basketball fan. I'm a football fan like Loki.
- 12:12Speaker 2: I'm a Dallas fan. So all the Dallas people out
- 12:14Speaker 2: there like, let's get let's let's you can't. No, I
- 12:19Speaker 2: don't care how many time we don't go to Super Bowl.
- 12:21Speaker 2: It won't change my mind, not at all.
- 12:24Speaker 5: Not.
- 12:24Speaker 2: I don't like my like shot to my dad to
- 12:27Speaker 2: shout to my whole family on my on my dad's
- 12:29Speaker 2: stid like the whole cowboy fan Dallas fan down my
- 12:32Speaker 2: other half.
- 12:35Speaker 3: No, so he said, I don't like Dallas and my god,
- 12:41Speaker 3: pat Patriots.
- 12:43Speaker 2: It's okay, like you you drawing the wrong team.
- 12:46Speaker 3: But you know, I like you. I like you. You Okay,
- 12:49Speaker 3: you cool? You cool? You you you cool?
- 12:52Speaker 2: So you know, if you were sitting with you're it
- 12:55Speaker 2: to yourself right now, right, what would you tell yourself
- 12:58Speaker 2: back then that you learn from now?
- 13:01Speaker 5: What I would tell my eighteen year old self. What
- 13:03Speaker 5: I would tell my eighteen year old self is that
- 13:07Speaker 5: you got a bright future ahead of you and you
- 13:12Speaker 5: need to take on every opportunity there is out there
- 13:16Speaker 5: and don't take it for granted.
- 13:19Speaker 3: Did you ever take anything for granted? Like when you
- 13:21Speaker 3: were growing up?
- 13:22Speaker 2: Did you miss any opportunities that you wish you had
- 13:26Speaker 2: fully thought about?
- 13:27Speaker 3: And you know you're twenty five, twenty you turn in
- 13:30Speaker 3: twenty six soon.
- 13:32Speaker 4: Bro, No, no, no, I'm already twenty six.
- 13:36Speaker 3: All right, listen, I'll take you back.
- 13:40Speaker 2: We're gonna say you babe, but anything you know, you
- 13:45Speaker 2: wish that you have done differently back then than you
- 13:48Speaker 2: learn now.
- 13:50Speaker 5: Honestly, I've been a master runner, so I can run
- 13:56Speaker 5: really fast. I could have been a track star, a
- 13:59Speaker 5: truck start, but I just never really the way I did.
- 14:06Speaker 5: Take that for granted, because I just never put really,
- 14:08Speaker 5: I just never put any thought into being back, you know,
- 14:12Speaker 5: I just never gave it any thought.
- 14:15Speaker 2: So so you wish now that you went back, you
- 14:17Speaker 2: would you wouldn't detract on stuff like that.
- 14:22Speaker 5: Part of me, part of me, say yes, But then again,
- 14:27Speaker 5: I'm happy where I am today, within my career and
- 14:33Speaker 5: my goals that I set for myself, and and that's
- 14:38Speaker 5: and that's why complete my goals. There's the only thing
- 14:44Speaker 5: I can do is running back and do it again
- 14:46Speaker 5: and again and again and again. So so with me,
- 14:50Speaker 5: there's no stopping.
- 14:51Speaker 3: Okay, you gotta let them know this. It is no
- 14:54Speaker 3: stop thing.
- 14:55Speaker 5: Man.
- 14:56Speaker 2: So what is the funniest moment that you had out
- 15:00Speaker 2: wise with your family, your family and your friends.
- 15:02Speaker 3: What is the funniest moment you have the fuck?
- 15:06Speaker 4: Man?
- 15:08Speaker 7: I got a list, We're here for it. I got
- 15:12Speaker 7: a list, We're here for it. Come on, tell us,
- 15:19Speaker 7: tell us, so come on.
- 15:21Speaker 8: Oh what what can I start back? Let's just start
- 15:31Speaker 8: with any story?
- 15:34Speaker 5: Oh you got me there, you got me there?
- 15:42Speaker 4: I don't. I don't know where to story?
- 15:46Speaker 2: All right, let's STARp Okay, let's start with your childhood,
- 15:49Speaker 2: you know, a friendly man with your family, Like, what
- 15:50Speaker 2: is your childhood?
- 15:51Speaker 3: That's not there? First?
- 15:53Speaker 4: What is my childhood?
- 15:54Speaker 3: Yeah? Growing up?
- 15:55Speaker 2: Like, let's start with the fine moments, the funny moment
- 15:57Speaker 2: you have with your like your family.
- 16:00Speaker 1: M hmm.
- 16:02Speaker 5: I would like hang I would hang around my friends
- 16:07Speaker 5: that I grew up with. Not to mention, we go
- 16:12Speaker 5: for it, like we're just we're just look at each
- 16:15Speaker 5: other and just bust out laughing because it'll be people like,
- 16:20Speaker 5: what are y'all laughing at?
- 16:21Speaker 9: You know?
- 16:21Speaker 5: And it's like, if y'all really get what we laughing at,
- 16:24Speaker 5: y'all be laughing too. You know.
- 16:29Speaker 3: That's what my friends does. Like even when.
- 16:33Speaker 2: With my friends, we be looking at each other like
- 16:36Speaker 2: that you know, that look that that you give them like,
- 16:40Speaker 2: and we just like that luck tells everything, man, Like, Like,
- 16:49Speaker 2: what does friendship means to you?
- 16:51Speaker 3: You know? All your friends right now?
- 16:54Speaker 2: And shout out to his best friends, shout out to
- 16:56Speaker 2: his friends and family. Man, I am, I really do sho.
- 17:02Speaker 2: So what does friendship means to you?
- 17:06Speaker 4: Friendship means a lot to me, you know.
- 17:10Speaker 5: And for my godfriends, I consider them as my brothers,
- 17:14Speaker 5: you know. And for my and for my lady friends,
- 17:21Speaker 5: I consider them as my sisters, you know, and I
- 17:23Speaker 5: consider them as family.
- 17:26Speaker 3: Okay, okay, okay, okay.
- 17:28Speaker 2: So what's one thing they if I have to interview them,
- 17:32Speaker 2: what's one thing they will tell you about yourself?
- 17:35Speaker 4: Say that one more time.
- 17:37Speaker 2: If I had to interview your friends about you, what
- 17:40Speaker 2: would they say about yourself?
- 17:42Speaker 5: What they were saying about me is that they would
- 17:44Speaker 5: say that I'm kind, harted, I'm loving, I'm motivating, and
- 17:50Speaker 5: I'm very loving, a caring person.
- 17:52Speaker 2: So you said one thing at that point that you
- 17:55Speaker 2: say you love and car in person? What that that
- 17:58Speaker 2: you know means to you? You know you say you
- 18:00Speaker 2: love it, you caring because I can I could definite
- 18:02Speaker 2: see it through the like the phones, I defer see
- 18:05Speaker 2: you in person and talking to you outside of here
- 18:08Speaker 2: like you very very loyal. I give you that you
- 18:11Speaker 2: are loyal to the tea. When it comes down to your.
- 18:14Speaker 4: Friends, I have to.
- 18:18Speaker 3: You got to miss it, just got it.
- 18:20Speaker 5: It's vice versa because they've been loyal to me, so
- 18:24Speaker 5: I have to give it back to them, you know.
- 18:29Speaker 3: All right, So.
- 18:31Speaker 2: I'm saying, are you a hard haired person? Sometimes? Are
- 18:34Speaker 2: you hard headed?
- 18:35Speaker 4: Am I heart headed?
- 18:36Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 18:38Speaker 5: In a joking way? It sometimes in a joking in
- 18:41Speaker 5: a joking way.
- 18:43Speaker 3: What you mean a joking way?
- 18:44Speaker 5: Mhm.
- 18:46Speaker 4: It's like sometimes I can be a sometimes I can be.
- 18:54Speaker 5: Sometimes I can go overboard with the jokes to you know,
- 18:59Speaker 5: sometimes I can go over boy with it. I don't
- 19:02Speaker 5: try to, but you know I can't bring the lab
- 19:08Speaker 5: out of people.
- 19:11Speaker 2: So what is one thing you learn? You know in
- 19:15Speaker 2: a situation where calm down your friends? Like who's disappointing you?
- 19:18Speaker 4: Sometimes?
- 19:19Speaker 2: You know, let you you messed up? Like how do
- 19:22Speaker 2: you get back in the good grace?
- 19:27Speaker 4: You know, as far as disappointment.
- 19:33Speaker 5: First off, I got to for the first and foremost,
- 19:38Speaker 5: I have to say what I have to. I got
- 19:41Speaker 5: to say what I feel about apologizing how I feel
- 19:47Speaker 5: because how I feel is what I feel in a
- 19:52Speaker 5: in a genuine way, you know, in a respectful way,
- 19:56Speaker 5: because I don't believe in disrespect, you know.
- 20:00Speaker 2: So now I'll say for me, right, So I'm a
- 20:05Speaker 2: very dreaming person.
- 20:06Speaker 3: I'll have learned that my mouth will.
- 20:11Speaker 5: Get me in trouble.
- 20:12Speaker 4: Mm hmmm.
- 20:13Speaker 3: I have learned that you know, you reap what yourself
- 20:17Speaker 3: in common will come back.
- 20:19Speaker 5: You bet you better.
- 20:21Speaker 2: So I have learned to be mindful how to deal
- 20:24Speaker 2: with people feelings because certainly not my friends are very
- 20:30Speaker 2: how I would say this, they're very sensitive. They are
- 20:32Speaker 2: very sensitive.
- 20:34Speaker 5: Yeah, and I can't.
- 20:35Speaker 2: Talk to them like I'm having like a real honest conversation,
- 20:39Speaker 2: Like I.
- 20:39Speaker 3: Have to literally sit them down like we.
- 20:42Speaker 5: Like you didn't have an honest conversation, you know.
- 20:47Speaker 2: And it's hard to have a hard a conversation with them.
- 20:49Speaker 2: You're trying to find different words, different.
- 20:54Speaker 3: Like you want to say this, like you can't say it.
- 20:58Speaker 3: It's like you you messing up.
- 20:59Speaker 2: You no anybody you hurt my feelings and this and that.
- 21:03Speaker 5: So we have to Yeah, yeah, now that you mentioned that,
- 21:08Speaker 5: you know, you know, I me myself, I'm not a
- 21:14Speaker 5: I'm not a perfect person, you know, because I have
- 21:17Speaker 5: I have flaws too, you know, and you know, and
- 21:21Speaker 5: there's some things I said, I've said, There's some things
- 21:25Speaker 5: I've said that I shouldn't have said, and you know,
- 21:28Speaker 5: and I've apologize for it because it's right. It's on
- 21:31Speaker 5: the right to apologize for your wrongdoing, because if you
- 21:36Speaker 5: don't and you think it's okay, then you're just a
- 21:37Speaker 5: sick individual.
- 21:39Speaker 2: Ooh oh, you you said it. You are You said
- 21:45Speaker 2: it correctly. You you said it correctly. Man. The main
- 21:51Speaker 2: thing with people, people do not like to take accountability,
- 21:55Speaker 2: some of them.
- 21:56Speaker 9: Some of them, yep, some douse because when you hang
- 22:01Speaker 9: around me and we have to take ownership, like I
- 22:06Speaker 9: mess up in my bag, but when you mess up.
- 22:10Speaker 3: You don't want to call your you don't want to
- 22:11Speaker 3: call yourself out.
- 22:13Speaker 4: Yeah. And here's the thing.
- 22:16Speaker 5: And I'm only speaking and I'm only speaking to me
- 22:19Speaker 5: because I can speak for everybody out there, you know.
- 22:22Speaker 3: Mhm.
- 22:24Speaker 5: If I say, if I say something wrong and I
- 22:27Speaker 5: know I'm wrong, I'm gonna apologize her right off the top.
- 22:31Speaker 2: So do you feel guilty, like like it's not like
- 22:34Speaker 2: you said something wrong. Do you feel guilty afterwards?
- 22:37Speaker 5: Yeah? Yeah, I feel guilty. Okay, okay, because there's ways
- 22:45Speaker 5: to say things. There's a way to say things, and
- 22:52Speaker 5: it depends on your tone of how you say it,
- 22:57Speaker 5: you know, m hmm. But you know, some people just
- 23:03Speaker 5: don't just people just say. Some people just narcissistic. You know,
- 23:09Speaker 5: they'll never look at their wrongs. And I just look,
- 23:13Speaker 5: I don't go I don't go back and forth with nobody.
- 23:16Speaker 5: I just let God handle them, you know, I just
- 23:18Speaker 5: leave it at the altar. You better left up, no,
- 23:22Speaker 5: you know, because what God said vengeance his mind. So
- 23:26Speaker 5: whatever they put out, it's gonna it comes full the
- 23:29Speaker 5: circlet right back to them.
- 23:31Speaker 3: See God working on me. God, God, you know what.
- 23:33Speaker 2: Now, God's working through me because God say the is
- 23:36Speaker 2: gonna be mine. It is gonna be mine because at
- 23:39Speaker 2: the end of the day, g would work through be at.
- 23:41Speaker 2: Gad gonna use me as a vessel and I will
- 23:44Speaker 2: get you at And I don't know how I'm gonna
- 23:45Speaker 2: get you back because if you hurt me, yeah, my bad,
- 23:51Speaker 2: it's gonna me. You hurt me, it's my bad. But
- 23:56Speaker 2: it's gonna contend time telling you it gonna content times
- 24:01Speaker 2: behind you.
- 24:03Speaker 3: I have seen it. I am the proof of it.
- 24:07Speaker 2: I know I am a willing testimony until it will
- 24:10Speaker 2: hurt you in some type of way. Right And it says,
- 24:15Speaker 2: you know, your your tone is powerful than anything else.
- 24:22Speaker 3: And I want.
- 24:24Speaker 2: People to to get to that. Your talk is powerful.
- 24:29Speaker 2: Anything can happen because.
- 24:31Speaker 5: It's like whatever comes out of your mouth, you're really
- 24:35Speaker 5: speaking it into existence, you know, and it's you know,
- 24:41Speaker 5: and going back to like then the accountability part, you
- 24:44Speaker 5: know it some you know at times, you know, it's
- 24:48Speaker 5: it's hard for some people to take accountability, you know,
- 24:52Speaker 5: and and it's childish to me, you know how. You
- 24:58Speaker 5: know how far in life you can get if you
- 25:00Speaker 5: can just take accountability. You know how far you can
- 25:05Speaker 5: get it by just saying you sorry for how you
- 25:07Speaker 5: treated a person, anybody.
- 25:12Speaker 3: But it's you know, you you you said it right there,
- 25:16Speaker 3: like I'm sorry. It's the first step. My bad.
- 25:20Speaker 2: I apologize, you know. And some people be cocky with it,
- 25:24Speaker 2: like you very with it, like you don't mean that,
- 25:28Speaker 2: and like.
- 25:28Speaker 3: I don't, I don't. I want people to be genuine.
- 25:30Speaker 2: With it, like if you feel bad, my bad, I apologize.
- 25:34Speaker 2: I shouldn't have said that. I meant to say it
- 25:37Speaker 2: this way, but it came out this way.
- 25:39Speaker 4: And here's the thing.
- 25:44Speaker 5: Some people, the way you say things, the way you
- 25:47Speaker 5: say things, the way you yeah, right, the way you
- 25:50Speaker 5: say things, people just take it and run with it
- 25:52Speaker 5: without even you know, without giving you the time of day.
- 25:56Speaker 3: You know, and and and it just the fact that.
- 26:04Speaker 2: You don't know how that person might take away at
- 26:07Speaker 2: the end of the day. You know, you the first step,
- 26:11Speaker 2: you apologize. You know, you know you made up, you
- 26:15Speaker 2: took control, you took it, so of you responsibility, but
- 26:18Speaker 2: to the person. But also don't don't think that the
- 26:22Speaker 2: person will accept it. They hear you out, they hear you,
- 26:26Speaker 2: but don't think a double second night they are going
- 26:29Speaker 2: to accept it, accept it.
- 26:33Speaker 3: You know, I hate you, but right now I can't
- 26:36Speaker 3: talk to you.
- 26:37Speaker 2: And a lot of people they need to be mindful.
- 26:42Speaker 3: Like the power.
- 26:43Speaker 2: The power is the tongue. It is definitely that power
- 26:47Speaker 2: is the time. I know it to be true because
- 26:52Speaker 2: I know me.
- 26:53Speaker 3: I know my mouth. My mouth is I get it
- 26:56Speaker 3: from my mom.
- 26:57Speaker 2: And that's a terrible thing. That's terrible thing. But I
- 27:00Speaker 2: learned how to be. I learned how to you know, walk.
- 27:05Speaker 4: Away, Yeah, you gotta walk walk you gotta walk away.
- 27:10Speaker 2: I learned how you know what the log on fire
- 27:12Speaker 2: at battle, the vision is gonna be me on at
- 27:15Speaker 2: the end of the day. But if if your life
- 27:19Speaker 2: was a documentary, what would the title be?
- 27:23Speaker 4: Say that one more time.
- 27:25Speaker 3: If your life was a.
- 27:25Speaker 2: Documentary meaning a whole movie, a TV show, what would
- 27:31Speaker 2: what would the title would be?
- 27:34Speaker 5: The title of the like your life of my life
- 27:39Speaker 5: would be.
- 27:46Speaker 4: Growth mindset?
- 27:48Speaker 3: Mm hmm. And why is that growth mindset?
- 27:56Speaker 5: I would say that because every day of my life
- 28:04Speaker 5: I think of growth mindset. When I think of growth mindset,
- 28:11Speaker 5: that may I that may I have to accept the
- 28:14Speaker 5: accountability with within myself and how I treat people. That
- 28:19Speaker 5: means growth means to me everything don't require reaction or response.
- 28:31Speaker 5: And growth to me is a simple is a simple communication,
- 28:42Speaker 5: communication within itself. It's growth too.
- 28:50Speaker 3: The people see see what you just said. Communication is
- 28:55Speaker 3: a growth too. People do not know how to communicate with.
- 29:02Speaker 2: And at all and and and that is the key
- 29:05Speaker 2: that we are still having today, especially in the black community.
- 29:09Speaker 3: Call it out. It's fast because we don't know how
- 29:12Speaker 3: to talk to certain.
- 29:12Speaker 5: People right and for sure writing But instead of we
- 29:18Speaker 5: as grown up, instead of having a mutual understanding and
- 29:25Speaker 5: within within a genuine communication, they're they either they'll rather
- 29:33Speaker 5: walk past you not saying anything. They'll rather lead your
- 29:37Speaker 5: own social media things like that. To me, this child
- 29:42Speaker 5: is in this and this this childlike to me, that's nothing.
- 29:48Speaker 5: There's nothing grown man, a grown woman. There's nothing grown
- 29:51Speaker 5: man a grown woman about that. You know, there's nothing
- 29:54Speaker 5: grown about that because and it and I genuinely believe this,
- 30:04Speaker 5: anybody that does that may end up meeting that person
- 30:08Speaker 5: let on in life.
- 30:13Speaker 2: It's funny why you said that, because I know in
- 30:18Speaker 2: my life people have you know, downgrade, downgrade me, and
- 30:24Speaker 2: that it means to the people who don't know what
- 30:26Speaker 2: that means, it means put me down, call me on
- 30:30Speaker 2: my name, call me out, tope of book, till you
- 30:33Speaker 2: won't be nothing.
- 30:34Speaker 3: You'll be in jail, you be six feet under.
- 30:37Speaker 5: Fat back.
- 30:39Speaker 3: I've been called everything behind the book.
- 30:41Speaker 4: Here's the thing. You know what I'm saying. I've been
- 30:46Speaker 4: I've been.
- 30:46Speaker 5: Uh, I've been talked down on too. Everybody, everybody been
- 30:52Speaker 5: talked down on.
- 30:52Speaker 1: You know.
- 30:53Speaker 5: You know what I mean, and you know, and I'm
- 30:55Speaker 5: gonna say this to you and that as the host.
- 30:59Speaker 5: The real reason why people talk down on you and
- 31:03Speaker 5: all of the other stuff is because they can't handle
- 31:05Speaker 5: your yournington.
- 31:10Speaker 3: And I'm glad you said it because I have a gift.
- 31:15Speaker 4: I have.
- 31:18Speaker 2: Something that God gave me. The way how my mindset works.
- 31:22Speaker 2: I have a creative Like I said, I have a
- 31:23Speaker 2: creative mind. I can think of want something and I
- 31:26Speaker 2: can end up doing it very fastly. But the thing
- 31:29Speaker 2: about it, people don't realize that when God use you
- 31:33Speaker 2: for something, I have a plan for you, and people
- 31:36Speaker 2: trying to stop you.
- 31:37Speaker 3: At the end of the day, you.
- 31:40Speaker 4: God planning right.
- 31:41Speaker 5: And here's the thing, what God has for you for
- 31:46Speaker 5: you can't nobody blocked that under no circumstances because you know,
- 31:53Speaker 5: and that's for me. God may have a different type
- 31:57Speaker 5: of blessings for me. And the and the the why
- 32:01Speaker 5: I get I get, I hear negativity, and I hear negativity,
- 32:06Speaker 5: and I hear my name in negativity.
- 32:09Speaker 4: Is because they cannot handle my annoying.
- 32:15Speaker 5: Let him know, because it's a it's a lot of
- 32:19Speaker 5: you know, it's it's a lot of heaters out here.
- 32:21Speaker 5: Because when you got hated, just how you know you're
- 32:25Speaker 5: doing something good? Because and if you don't have no
- 32:28Speaker 5: headed you ain't doing nothing. You ain't doing nothing. If
- 32:30Speaker 5: you ain't got no haters, you ain't doing nothing.
- 32:34Speaker 2: Like you see, like he said, you ain't doing nothing
- 32:37Speaker 2: if you've got no hitters.
- 32:40Speaker 3: Well, I won't say this to you.
- 32:42Speaker 2: Man, it has been a pleasure, a pleasure, pleasure talking
- 32:48Speaker 2: to you it.
- 32:50Speaker 3: Is. It has been a pleasure getting to annoy you more.
- 32:54Speaker 2: And like I said, this platform is creative for everybody
- 32:57Speaker 2: who wants to come out or talk from here. You
- 32:59Speaker 2: know me, man, like this this platform is built for you.
- 33:05Speaker 2: This platform is built on different background, different story, different genres.

- 33:25Speaker 5: say thank you for giving me this opportunity to be
- 33:29Speaker 5: on to just to just to have my voice heard
- 33:33Speaker 5: and for people to hear me, you know. And you know,
- 33:36Speaker 5: like I said, you know, everybody have their hard headed moments.
- 33:40Speaker 5: I do too. And then at the end of the
- 33:42Speaker 5: day me I'm not perfect, you know, I ain't nobody
- 33:46Speaker 5: perfect but.
