- 0:00Speaker 1: All right, guys, here we are last break of the
- 0:02Speaker 1: day on this Tuesday.
- 0:04Speaker 2: It's been a great day. Thank you all for listening.
- 0:06Speaker 1: As usual, Junior take us out.
- 0:08Speaker 2: You got a question for the man himself, Steve Hardy.
- 0:12Speaker 1: Yeah, you said something this morning at the beginning, Man,
- 0:15Speaker 1: I thought was really positive, and I think you should
- 0:18Speaker 1: just speak on it. And everybody sees you as this
- 0:21Speaker 1: great celebrity. But what happens to mister Harvey when ain't
- 0:25Speaker 1: nobody looking well?
- 0:27Speaker 2: You know sometime, Junior'll was thinking about that after you
- 0:30Speaker 2: said it this morning. I've lived long enough to discover
- 0:34Speaker 2: this that everybody don't think I'm a great celebrity. I
- 0:43Speaker 2: have enemies out there. I have naysay us out there.
- 0:47Speaker 2: I got haters out there, just like you. I mean,
- 0:49Speaker 2: just like everybody. Everybody that's accomplished anything, or anybody that's
- 0:57Speaker 2: trying to accomplish anything. You're going to have the other side,
- 1:02Speaker 2: the adverse reaction to your decision to be better. You're
- 1:07Speaker 2: going to get oppositions anytime you try to move forward.
- 1:12Speaker 2: So it's not you know, I'm grateful that I've been
- 1:15Speaker 2: around so long and accomplished so much that I have
- 1:20Speaker 2: some people who are willing to talk good about me.
- 1:26Speaker 2: But just for a minute, man, let me let me
- 1:30Speaker 2: just address the ones that don't talk well about me.
- 1:35Speaker 2: And I'm not trying to change your mind either, I
- 1:38Speaker 2: just want to give you some food for thought. You know,
- 1:41Speaker 2: when you talk about a person you don't and you
- 1:46Speaker 2: don't know that person, do you know the part that
- 1:49Speaker 2: you really don't know, the part that's behind the curtain,
- 1:54Speaker 2: the part that's behind that door, the untold stories of
- 1:59Speaker 2: that person life. So while you sit in judgment of
- 2:03Speaker 2: a person it seemed like they could have did this,
- 2:06Speaker 2: I don't know why they do that. You have no
- 2:08Speaker 2: idea what happened to this person on their journey? You
- 2:12Speaker 2: have no idea. Now listen to me. I appreciate admiration
- 2:18Speaker 2: just like anybody. Anybody, every every living human being loves credit.
- 2:26Speaker 2: And the average human being loves credit so much, whether
- 2:30Speaker 2: it's deserved or undeserved, it's welcomed. But I've grown to
- 2:35Speaker 2: this point where, yeah, you know, man, I would love
- 2:39Speaker 2: to get my flowers while I'm living. I really would,
- 2:42Speaker 2: because so many times we wait till after a person's
- 2:45Speaker 2: gone to tell them what they meant. And I've oftentimes
- 2:50Speaker 2: I've been able to contact people who meant something to me,
- 2:54Speaker 2: who persuaded me, who inspired me. I've been able to
- 2:58Speaker 2: reach out to them and sayin words to them and
- 3:01Speaker 2: thank them for it. But you know, man, if I
- 3:07Speaker 2: don't get that chance, I'm still grateful for everybody that's
- 3:11Speaker 2: made a contribution to my life. And I'm going around
- 3:15Speaker 2: the bush to get back to this point that I'm
- 3:17Speaker 2: trying to make. If we would spend our time focused
- 3:23Speaker 2: on what was best for us, our children, our wives,
- 3:28Speaker 2: our partners, our families, if we put our focus on that,
- 3:32Speaker 2: you would discover something that's actually a twenty four hour job.
- 3:38Speaker 2: That's a full time position, man, And it don't RecA
- 3:41Speaker 2: It does not allow for wavering, slacking up or any
- 3:45Speaker 2: of that. And you know, if people only knew what
- 3:48Speaker 2: was behind the scene. You know, I was thinking about this,
- 3:52Speaker 2: but I've learned this part of it too. I was thinking,
- 3:55Speaker 2: if people knew what was behind the scene, they feel
- 3:57Speaker 2: differently about you. But that's not true. That's just not
- 4:02Speaker 2: true even if they knew that. See, you gotta stop
- 4:06Speaker 2: worrying about what other people think, Steve Harvey and everybody else,
- 4:10Speaker 2: because guess what I've learned for those that love you,
- 4:13Speaker 2: no explanation necessary, but for those that hate you, no
- 4:17Speaker 2: explanation acceptable. I don't care what you say to somebody
- 4:22Speaker 2: that don't want to hear it. Hey man. When you
- 4:24Speaker 2: talk to a person and they say, I don't want
- 4:26Speaker 2: to hear that, do you know that they're not listening,
- 4:30Speaker 2: I don't care if you say, hey man, but I
- 4:32Speaker 2: did this because I was young. Hey man, I made
- 4:34Speaker 2: this mistake because I was at Hey man, I made
- 4:37Speaker 2: this mistake, but I corrected it. Hey man, I became
- 4:40Speaker 2: a better person after that happened to me. I actually changed.
- 4:43Speaker 2: I don't want to hear that. Oh really, well, then
- 4:46Speaker 2: if they don't want to hear it, why waste your
- 4:49Speaker 2: time explaining it to him? So that's why a lot
- 4:51Speaker 2: of times, man, I just go on about my life.
- 4:53Speaker 2: Do you know I've been asked how many times, hey man,
- 4:56Speaker 2: why didn't you explain what happened? And I've responded, why
- 5:02Speaker 2: explain what happened? Do you know man, that there are
- 5:06Speaker 2: people who gonna feel what they want to feel no
- 5:08Speaker 2: matter what you say, because if they've chose to hate,
- 5:12Speaker 2: ain't nothing you can say. I can hear them in
- 5:14Speaker 2: the back of my head. Now going I don't want
- 5:16Speaker 2: to hear that. For those that love you, no explanation necessary.
- 5:21Speaker 2: For those that hate you, no explanation acceptable. You can
- 5:25Speaker 2: tell it and explain it away all you want. I
- 5:28Speaker 2: have an explanation for everything I've ever done in my life.
- 5:34Speaker 2: Some people heard it, some people didn't want to hear it.
- 5:37Speaker 2: It is what it is, and I've grown to be
- 5:40Speaker 2: fine with that now because I quit worrying about what
- 5:43Speaker 2: other people say. My concern right now, what do God say?
- 5:49Speaker 2: What do God feel about me? Am I doing what
- 5:52Speaker 2: he wants me to do? Am I yielding to his will?
- 5:56Speaker 2: Am I trying to be a better person? Am I
- 5:58Speaker 2: trying to be more giving? More caring, more loving, more understanding,
- 6:03Speaker 2: more open? Am I trying to do that? If I'm
- 6:06Speaker 2: trying to do that, it don't really matter what nobody
- 6:08Speaker 2: else say. So get on with your life, Go on
- 6:13Speaker 2: where you're going. Quit worrying about the naysayers, because they
- 6:16Speaker 2: are going to be there any time you try to
- 6:19Speaker 2: do better, more or good. That will be our position.
- 6:23Speaker 2: They are called haters and they are designed to hold
- 6:27Speaker 2: you back. Don't let them do it. Keep your head up, y'all.
- 6:30Speaker 2: Those are my closees remarks today, y'all have a good
- 6:32Speaker 2: one today, y'all stay in peace. Talk to God today.
