- 0:48Speaker 8: I'm the sport Shock Wayne Gandy, Good morning. Tell you
- 0:50Speaker 8: out there listening Land Glad to be here with you
- 0:54Speaker 8: on this Thursday, which brings us to Week two of
- 0:58Speaker 8: the n f LS Sezon Tonight, a big game right
- 1:03Speaker 8: off the bat. Guys ain't high, but three days to
- 1:06Speaker 8: get ready in a matchup where easily you can see
- 1:11Speaker 8: both of these teams in the playoffs. You can see
- 1:13Speaker 8: both of these teams playing for the NFC Conference Championship
- 1:18Speaker 8: in about four months. When you look at the Commanders
- 1:22Speaker 8: Jaydon Daniels one in o versus Jordan Love and the
- 1:26Speaker 8: Packers in green Well, it says Washington at Green Bay.
- 1:33Speaker 8: But I got to ask commanche or the bad producer.
- 1:38Speaker 8: The NFL might have sent them to another country. I
- 1:40Speaker 8: don't know, is is this a grassroot game? Can I
- 1:45Speaker 8: go to Wisconsin get some cheese? They do that for
- 1:49Speaker 8: the first week and then they wait until are you
- 1:52Speaker 8: one hundred percent sure this game is in Green Bay?
- 1:57Speaker 9: Yes, go out of the country. There would be no
- 2:05Speaker 9: practice time.
- 2:06Speaker 8: But I'm saying that's how they have you. Now, like
- 2:08Speaker 8: you can't just say, look at the schedule. You do
- 2:12Speaker 8: have to read what's beside it. It's not it's just
- 2:15Speaker 8: like watching it. You have to now also look to
- 2:19Speaker 8: where used to think you had a general idea of
- 2:22Speaker 8: which network it was on, But it's not a guarantee.
- 2:27Speaker 8: It might only be on Prime Video or Netflix or
- 2:30Speaker 8: any of the other outlets. Now so, but tonight this
- 2:34Speaker 8: one on Prime Video. So if you don't have that,
- 2:38Speaker 8: can is there any way to watch this free without
- 2:42Speaker 8: any criminal activity? Because well you went into that that hacker.
- 2:46Speaker 10: Look, but outside of that, the only thing that is
- 2:51Speaker 10: if it's shown locally, like in the local in those.
- 2:55Speaker 9: In Green Bay or in d C, d C, and
- 2:58Speaker 9: then that freak app that's been going on for like
- 3:00Speaker 9: the last ten years.
- 3:01Speaker 8: They got busted. It was an app.
- 3:02Speaker 10: That's that's what he was talking about with the like
- 3:06Speaker 10: any hacker, Oh sites that's been shut that way? Yeah,
- 3:09Speaker 10: actually it hasn't been shut down. So if y'all know
- 3:12Speaker 10: what that is, y'all can watch get on the black
- 3:14Speaker 10: mark promoted here.
- 3:16Speaker 8: In these situations, I don't know much of I'm not
- 3:20Speaker 8: big on technology at all, so I'm like a two
- 3:24Speaker 8: year old when it comes to that kind of stuff.
- 3:27Speaker 8: Through the hackers when they hacked this, are they just
- 3:31Speaker 8: putting it out there for free? Do you also have
- 3:34Speaker 8: to charging for a discount? For the most part, it's
- 3:38Speaker 8: free because that's the that's the point. No one wants
- 3:40Speaker 8: to if you don't want to get prime. There are
- 3:44Speaker 8: those sites that you don't want to get a NFL ticket.
- 3:48Speaker 8: And and that's that's what I wanted to hear because
- 3:51Speaker 8: I'm always interested in if it was your material, would
- 3:59Speaker 8: you want somebody to give your material out free? See?
- 4:05Speaker 8: This is how I miss crime. Whoever it is that
- 4:09Speaker 8: hacks and sends a signal out to everybody in some
- 4:12Speaker 8: kind of freedom fighter thing. If you came out with
- 4:16Speaker 8: some game or some piece of technology and somebody did
- 4:21Speaker 8: it to you. Would you see it.
- 4:23Speaker 10: That way, that that it's okay, that it's that's free. Yes,
- 4:30Speaker 10: Oh no, I wouldn't exactly. So why would you go do.
- 4:34Speaker 8: That to someone else's material when it's not something that
- 4:40Speaker 8: you would be cool with? You came up with other algorithm,
- 4:44Speaker 8: the three of us sitting somewhere in a room, we
- 4:46Speaker 8: hack it and then give it out someone free, like
- 4:49Speaker 8: the guy at what was in the nineties Napster or
- 4:51Speaker 8: something like that. The music, and what if that was
- 4:54Speaker 8: your music? Would you have been okay? It always seems
- 4:59Speaker 8: that there cool with doing it, But I'm always wondering
- 5:02Speaker 8: if it was reversed. NFL hacked your thing and put
- 5:05Speaker 8: out your billion dollar idea. Now who's that you? Okay?
- 5:09Speaker 8: You okay with that? Oh you cost me a billion dollars?
- 5:13Speaker 9: Okay, but I still made it. I still made a
- 5:16Speaker 9: billion though I didn't know the anefit. But if they
- 5:23Speaker 9: hacked your product?
- 5:24Speaker 8: So but Prime Video Tonight, Green Bay, Jordan Love, Michael
- 5:29Speaker 8: Parsons on Defense, Jadan Daniels A short week as I have,
- 5:34Speaker 8: I continue to tell you, we've been around long enough
- 5:37Speaker 8: to watch Thursday Night games go from two or three
- 5:41Speaker 8: Thursdays late in November thanks to Manifest into basically a
- 5:48Speaker 8: complete season. That's a short turnaround. Bodies are sore. Typically
- 5:53Speaker 8: your body gets used to the banging about week three.
- 5:59Speaker 8: Right now, guys are really more focused and you're trying
- 6:03Speaker 8: to learn the plays and strategies of the next team
- 6:06Speaker 8: while being a little nicked up. And some of the
- 6:09Speaker 8: knicks are just natural. This is your first last week,
- 6:13Speaker 8: was your first car accident of the year. That's how
- 6:17Speaker 8: football it feels like. You before they mandated seat belts
- 6:22Speaker 8: so you might get through around in the car and
- 6:24Speaker 8: it flipped. That's what car football feels like every Sunday.
- 6:28Speaker 8: So I just say all that because you do have
- 6:31Speaker 8: to look guys that. How many times I've said, do
- 6:35Speaker 8: some guys that could have played if the game was Sunday,
- 6:40Speaker 8: they're not fully backed by what you think about a
- 6:44Speaker 8: night that's so hard. And then you talk about the commanders.
- 6:47Speaker 8: They had to travel, you know, so they didn't even
- 6:50Speaker 8: they had to take a day of their life and
- 6:53Speaker 8: their time off, and it's just hard on the body.
- 6:56Speaker 8: I'm saying that for you betters out there. We're gonna
- 6:58Speaker 8: talk about gambling a little lay in the show, just
- 7:01Speaker 8: saying that because these games are hard to for me
- 7:05Speaker 8: if I was trying to bet it, it's not like
- 7:08Speaker 8: a regular Sunday.
- 7:10Speaker 9: What do you think about someone like a Michael Parson
- 7:12Speaker 9: whose first game back, first action period, besides anything, if
- 7:17Speaker 9: he was doing any conditioning, but his first time on
- 7:20Speaker 9: the field, you think that someone like him is feeding
- 7:24Speaker 9: for to get out back this early when it do
- 7:26Speaker 9: for him to.
- 7:28Speaker 10: Have to take an epidural just to play the first game,
- 7:31Speaker 10: and he might have to do that multiple times, but
- 7:34Speaker 10: like maybe perhaps before every time.
- 7:36Speaker 9: He was going to say he's already Yeah, he's a
- 7:38Speaker 9: kind of but so so that that's what I'm saying
- 7:43Speaker 9: to bring you to the point. But he had to
- 7:45Speaker 9: even been out any on the field. This is like
- 7:47Speaker 9: this quick is a turnaround. You know he's gonna play,
- 7:50Speaker 9: you know he's gonna be out there, so he's you know,
- 7:52Speaker 9: he's already taken to epi dural.
- 7:53Speaker 8: For the first game.
- 7:54Speaker 9: I'm as you look at someone like him that's just
- 7:57Speaker 9: coming on the film, I'm saying that.
- 7:59Speaker 8: Do they could do you complain to? Who do you
- 8:02Speaker 8: complain to about this?
- 8:03Speaker 9: Is there a complaint department that could say, hey, guys,
- 8:05Speaker 9: I'm tired of what's going this short week. We're not
- 8:08Speaker 9: our body's not here. We gotta do this, gotta do it.
- 8:11Speaker 9: No one's, no coaches, no, no one speaking up. I
- 8:14Speaker 9: mean it seemed like because as you said, this then
- 8:16Speaker 9: went from just Thanksgiving Thursday.
- 8:19Speaker 8: Well you can give us a game check back about that.
- 8:24Speaker 11: No, okay, now I'm gonna go play because remember seventeen
- 8:34Speaker 11: checks the seventeen weeks.
- 8:36Speaker 8: So whatever your salary you making this year, divided by seventeen,
- 8:40Speaker 8: you can give me one of those checks back. No,
- 8:42Speaker 8: I'll be there.
- 8:43Speaker 7: No, you said you didn't want to play so right,
- 8:46Speaker 7: but but but it's got to be.
- 8:48Speaker 9: But we see that the product is not as you
- 8:52Speaker 9: as we've seen through the years.
- 8:53Speaker 8: Just hit a mess on a Thursday night. Sometimes I
- 8:57Speaker 8: don't know that this time and sports that we are
- 9:01Speaker 8: even do we care about the product? Really?
- 9:06Speaker 10: I would say no, only because I believe there's there's
- 9:10Speaker 10: enough people that will watch any football any it doesn't
- 9:16Speaker 10: matter who's playing.
- 9:17Speaker 8: It could be.
- 9:21Speaker 10: The two small schools in the IVY League or you know,
- 9:25Speaker 10: in the MAC or something on a Wednesday night.
- 9:28Speaker 8: It's football.
- 9:30Speaker 10: I'm gonna least watch it for a few minutes, see
- 9:32Speaker 10: if it's interesting.
- 9:34Speaker 8: Yeah, I don't know that we are so in Like
- 9:37Speaker 8: you know, sometimes you have to unzip your timeline and
- 9:40Speaker 8: go back and figure. You know, majority of your videwership
- 9:46Speaker 8: is in that thirty year ragn you know, in that area.
- 9:49Speaker 8: I don't know that they care that the product is
- 9:52Speaker 8: always high quality and even if it is bad, even
- 9:56Speaker 8: if it's a bad game, it doesn't turn you off
- 9:58Speaker 8: the game completely. Okay, I'll watch another game, but yeah,
- 10:04Speaker 8: it should be a good game tonight Thursday night football
- 10:08Speaker 8: for you that like high school football, or maybe the
- 10:11Speaker 8: biggest game I'll call this year, at least into the playoffs.
- 10:14Speaker 8: We will see how the season go. But Buford the
- 10:18Speaker 8: Buford Wolves, and they're big, sixty two million dollar high
- 10:21Speaker 8: school stadium, so it would be my first time getting
- 10:25Speaker 8: a chance to go into it. They're hosting Douglas County.
- 10:29Speaker 8: Within that game, those two teams, you have about fourteen
- 10:34Speaker 8: fifteen power for conference players, So a lot of names
- 10:40Speaker 8: that are going to college on both sides of the ball.
- 10:44Speaker 8: If you went and looked up some kind of all
- 10:48Speaker 8: Georgia state rankings, it would be about five or six
- 10:53Speaker 8: of them in the top twenty five. That's the kind
- 10:55Speaker 8: of talent base that you're going to have on the
- 10:57Speaker 8: field on Friday night at seven and thirty. And we
- 11:01Speaker 8: would be a bad show if we didn't recognize what
- 11:08Speaker 8: today is. It's a reflective day, even if it's just
- 11:12Speaker 8: for a moment. If you go back twenty four years
- 11:17Speaker 8: and to your memory, most people on this day remember
- 11:22Speaker 8: where they were and what they were doing is that day.
- 11:27Speaker 8: It's kind of our generations Pearl Harbor in a sense,
- 11:34Speaker 8: I'm similar to the same action. Quite sure. If we
- 11:39Speaker 8: could go back in time, those people that were living
- 11:42Speaker 8: in Pearl Harbor time for their lifetime, they remember exactly
- 11:46Speaker 8: where they were and what they were doing. I think
- 11:49Speaker 8: twenty nine to eleven is that same kind of impactful day.
- 11:54Speaker 8: If you ask somebody and where were you what were
- 11:56Speaker 8: you doing? They can actually say it. For that reason
- 12:02Speaker 8: in itself, we salute nine to eleven ows that lost
- 12:08Speaker 8: their lives and those which I have a friend or
- 12:11Speaker 8: two who lost family in that and it still vibrates
- 12:19Speaker 8: to their existence today. We'll be back more in the
- 12:23Speaker 8: sports talk show right after.
- 12:24Speaker 12: This Don't Go Away board of the Sports Josh Show
- 12:32Speaker 12: with Wayne dandyis.
- 12:33Speaker 2: Coming up next.
- 12:38Speaker 13: Are you prepared for an emergency or disaster? Because it's
- 12:41Speaker 13: not a matter of if, but when. Don't find yourself
- 12:44Speaker 13: saying I'll.
- 12:44Speaker 14: Trust water bottles in a flashlight to save the day,
- 12:47Speaker 14: but I'll be proved wrong.
- 12:49Speaker 3: Well the tornado approaching, I don't realize that I like
- 12:51Speaker 3: a wheelchair accessible shelter.
- 12:53Speaker 1: When the floodwaters rise, Ill me up in the attic
- 12:55Speaker 1: with twenty cans of beans. It's a recipe for disaster.

- 15:22Speaker 4: Now it's time to present the Jock of the Day
- 15:25Speaker 4: on the Sports Jock Shows.
- 15:26Speaker 8: Taken it to a completely different level this.
- 15:28Speaker 15: Year where we highlight an appoli that has taken their
- 15:31Speaker 15: game to the next level.
- 15:55Speaker 8: Cadillact, Welcome back to the sports Shop, show them the
- 15:58Speaker 8: sports Shop, Wayne Game. Indeed, good morning to you comanch
- 16:02Speaker 8: you Greg bad producer in the studio with me on
- 16:06Speaker 8: this nine to eleven day. I was talking about that
- 16:08Speaker 8: Douglas County versus Beauford High School. I know, and you
- 16:12Speaker 8: can watch this game and you know anywhere just pull
- 16:15Speaker 8: up the GPB app and it's a big game. There
- 16:18Speaker 8: are twenty five seniors with profiles on twenty four to
- 16:22Speaker 8: seven Sports, which is a ranking system. Fourteen is for Beauford,
- 16:26Speaker 8: eleven for Douglas County. Seven of those players rated four stars.
- 16:32Speaker 8: The quarterback from Douglas County has committed the Utah. The
- 16:37Speaker 8: Beautiford quarterback Dylan Ryola. His brother is Dayton Ryola at Nebraska.
- 16:44Speaker 8: You got three kids, Aaron Gregory, Bryce Prairie Wright, Jordan Carter,
- 16:50Speaker 8: They're all going to Texas and m drey Quinn d
- 16:56Speaker 8: n He's going to climp time, big time. So when
- 17:00Speaker 8: when I'm saying that, I'm not just making but talking
- 17:04Speaker 8: about this is big high school. This would be a
- 17:08Speaker 8: big high school football for anywhere when you have this
- 17:11Speaker 8: many players in any state playing in a high school
- 17:14Speaker 8: game in a day where a lot of recruiting is
- 17:16Speaker 8: down as far as you know, because of the transferred portal,
- 17:21Speaker 8: which we'll get to talk about here in a second.
- 17:24Speaker 8: Lamart Jackson apologizing to fan in the Buffalo game. If
- 17:30Speaker 8: you remember, after touchdown by b hop Bratt Hopkins DeAndre Hopkins,
- 17:35Speaker 8: excuse me, Lamar Jackson went over to celebrate young look
- 17:42Speaker 8: like a young fan. I couldn't tell a age, but
- 17:48Speaker 8: he didn't look like an old man. He just I
- 17:50Speaker 8: don't know if it was a how old do you
- 17:52Speaker 8: think the maybe seventeen. When I say young, I'm talking
- 17:55Speaker 8: about he didn't look like he was an adult. Or
- 18:00Speaker 8: maybe I had just had a different camera angle. Maybe
- 18:03Speaker 8: I wasn't looking. Yeah, I don't I think it was.
- 18:08Speaker 8: I have to look at it again. Maybe he's just
- 18:10Speaker 8: small and that's why I compare it. But he tapped
- 18:14Speaker 8: DeAndre Hopkins on the hat, and then as Lamar Jackson
- 18:19Speaker 8: came by, Lamar Jackson saw that the same fan hit
- 18:24Speaker 8: him on top of the helmet, and he says that
- 18:27Speaker 8: it just happened. I got pushed and he retaliated to
- 18:32Speaker 8: the fan. I haven't seen any kind of fine from
- 18:35Speaker 8: the NFL towards Lamar Jackson. This was more of the
- 18:41Speaker 8: fan touching him first and him kind of getting the
- 18:43Speaker 8: fan off of him. All I can see is maybe
- 18:47Speaker 8: the league stepping in people's asking me and maybe initiating
- 18:55Speaker 8: just trying to talk to the opposing team, Like, you know,
- 18:59Speaker 8: whatever celebrates, it would start there. They wouldn't write some
- 19:03Speaker 8: kind of rule into But maybe if you're on the road,
- 19:07Speaker 8: fans used to be a little more hostile, so you
- 19:11Speaker 8: didn't go celebrate close to him if that wasn't your stadium.
- 19:15Speaker 8: They used to really.
- 19:15Speaker 7: Would throw stuff at you, batteries, whatever, little small objects.
- 19:22Speaker 9: That's why they won't give you the lid at the
- 19:25Speaker 9: lot of the stadiums when you buy a drink or whatever,
- 19:27Speaker 9: so you can't stuff it or whatever to give it
- 19:30Speaker 9: some weight throw you.
- 19:31Speaker 8: Truly, you couldn't just go. You had to act like
- 19:36Speaker 8: you were on the road when you went for your celebration.
- 19:38Speaker 8: You can't unless you found a patch of your fans,
- 19:43Speaker 8: you run to that area. But you can't just go
- 19:46Speaker 8: jump into the dog Pound or boss at that time
- 19:51Speaker 8: when he jumped into you know what I'm saying, you're
- 19:53Speaker 8: rolling the dice when he jumped in the Lambeau Leap.
- 19:56Speaker 8: But you know that was Randy. That was bowl Randy.
- 19:59Speaker 8: That was what I'm saying. That's real, because they're going
- 20:02Speaker 8: to try to at least doubt you with their beer. Yeah, sure,
- 20:06Speaker 8: getting the beer polled all of a sudden, you know
- 20:10Speaker 8: that kind of stuff. So uh, in this case, I
- 20:13Speaker 8: didn't see anything wrong with Lamar Jackson as far as
- 20:18Speaker 8: that's not what he wants to be touched. He doesn't
- 20:20Speaker 8: want to be touched.
- 20:22Speaker 10: I haven't seen anything as far as a fine towards
- 20:24Speaker 10: Lamar Jackson, the fan was banned from the stadium and
- 20:31Speaker 10: all NFL stadium So perhaps the NFL just saw, okay
- 20:38Speaker 10: he was Lamar reacted as far as protecting his teammate,
- 20:43Speaker 10: and they left it at that.
- 20:44Speaker 8: Right, I think, and I think the if anyone's looking,
- 20:48Speaker 8: I'm not looking for any action other than maybe the
- 20:52Speaker 8: NFL will tell the coaches that let their players know
- 20:56Speaker 8: when you're on the road. Now just kind of selling.
- 21:00Speaker 8: Bring in the end zone, don't go to running up
- 21:01Speaker 8: in the stands, because even though we're gonna throw the
- 21:04Speaker 8: fan out and all that, the incident is still gonna happen. Yeah,
- 21:08Speaker 8: that's the thing. You can't You're not. I can't remove
- 21:11Speaker 8: the incident once it happens.
- 21:12Speaker 9: So well, shoot, you had the home fans in Carolina
- 21:16Speaker 9: fussing about cams when he was doing the you know,
- 21:20Speaker 9: lady wrote an article about him doing the same, So
- 21:24Speaker 9: you even your home fans, so you you you gotta
- 21:27Speaker 9: be careful where you celebrate new because you may even
- 21:31Speaker 9: get it from your own fans. But like you said,
- 21:33Speaker 9: I didn't see anything that would that he should get fined.
- 21:38Speaker 8: And was it really that bad on the fans part.
- 21:42Speaker 8: That what he does, what he did, he just know.
- 21:44Speaker 8: That's that's why I'm sharing.
- 21:47Speaker 9: That's what I don't get that either the man he
- 21:49Speaker 9: get banned the whole Seatretse players, No, the forty players
- 21:54Speaker 9: may not react, but that don't mean they could not
- 21:59Speaker 9: have reac act something.
- 22:01Speaker 8: You know. Lamar is Lamar. He's an individual. I can't
- 22:06Speaker 8: tell you if it was me, you command Gie Greg,
- 22:09Speaker 8: we just took the tap, maybe yelled back at the guy,
- 22:11Speaker 8: or didn't even acknowledge it at all and moved on.
- 22:14Speaker 8: But that's not everybody's personality. Like Russell Russell Westbrook, he's
- 22:20Speaker 8: more already. He's standing on the he ready to bite
- 22:27Speaker 8: teeth already showing he's.
- 22:29Speaker 7: Just waiting on somebody to say anything.
- 22:33Speaker 8: He's gonna snap out him, you know. And for him
- 22:36Speaker 8: to be like he is, he has to come to
- 22:37Speaker 8: the court that way. This ain't something that just built
- 22:40Speaker 8: up in him. He's ready right now to be like that.
- 22:44Speaker 8: So I'm like you, though, I wouldn't have banned the
- 22:47Speaker 8: fan for all the stadium, yeah, because I mean, if
- 22:53Speaker 8: you really look at it, he was just excited for him.
- 22:55Speaker 8: To me, seemed like he's a DeAndre Hopkins fan. That's
- 22:58Speaker 8: what I looked at. I didn't. I didn't take it
- 23:00Speaker 8: to be maybe the next home game or something. But
- 23:03Speaker 8: I didn't take it to be some kind of malicious
- 23:07Speaker 8: act act to be thrown out of all stadiums for
- 23:10Speaker 8: the rest of the US.
- 23:10Speaker 9: He didn't glue his hand to the stadium floor.
- 23:14Speaker 7: He didn't glew his cell phone behalf of Peter. So
- 23:17Speaker 7: I mean, I really will be back for a sports

- 26:27Speaker 8: Once you know that KFC brought back the potato wedges.
- 26:32Speaker 8: That's his contribution to.
- 26:33Speaker 7: Our Then the spicy Wayne suit Spicy, you get the
- 26:38Speaker 7: six piece fifty six years old. He's not even supposed
- 26:42Speaker 7: to have either one of those two, but he's still
- 26:45Speaker 7: over there.
- 26:46Speaker 8: He's excited about Have you had him already?
- 26:48Speaker 21: Yeah?
- 26:49Speaker 9: I went guess at Potato Wedges, I sup too real quick.
- 26:53Speaker 8: Now I did the potato Wedge. I don't know much
- 26:57Speaker 8: about the spicy Wings. I don't even lie the spicy wings.
- 27:00Speaker 8: But the last time I was at at KFC, I
- 27:03Speaker 8: was upset that the Potato Wedges they had changed the fries. Yeah,
- 27:06Speaker 8: the fries. Sorry. When I opened the box, I was
- 27:09Speaker 8: thinking it was potato weddings. You throw them out the
- 27:11Speaker 8: windown and they just cooked some fries.
- 27:14Speaker 7: So but to see you so excited, I'm telling you
- 27:18Speaker 7: I've been waiting for this, and just like I just
- 27:20Speaker 7: told this another restaurant that took something off the menu,
- 27:23Speaker 7: and I'm in my prayer closet for that back to
- 27:26Speaker 7: come back to.
- 27:27Speaker 9: You say your prayer claw closet, closet for that to
- 27:32Speaker 9: come back. All so that to come back to that store.
- 27:35Speaker 7: The prayer closet shot in stage four, Campers my Potato
- 27:40Speaker 7: Wedges back God saying pray about every and anything.
- 27:45Speaker 9: Boy, pray with me now for me, just pray with.
- 27:50Speaker 8: Come get your boy. That's that's your boy. But potato
- 28:01Speaker 8: Thursday Night Football the Commanders at Green Bay on a
- 28:06Speaker 8: short week to start week two off, check your teams
- 28:10Speaker 8: a lot of guys banged up. I will see. I
- 28:13Speaker 8: see that the forty nine ers brought Purty unlikely to
- 28:16Speaker 8: play this weekend, even going as far as saying possibly
- 28:21Speaker 8: could miss a couple of weeks. For the forty nine ers,
- 28:27Speaker 8: Carrie Kittle, not Carrie Kittle, George Kittle, I always get
- 28:30Speaker 8: them named Carrie Kittle was the basketball player George Kittle
- 28:35Speaker 8: maybe out two Yes for the forty nine ers.
- 28:39Speaker 10: Yeah, I can't remember what the injury actually had, but
- 28:42Speaker 10: he could be. He's gonna at least be out for
- 28:45Speaker 10: this next game. But the question I wanted to ask
- 28:49Speaker 10: you about, like with Purty, I've seen the headline go
- 28:52Speaker 10: from he could be out for this next game and
- 28:56Speaker 10: could miss multiple weeks. What would in what world would
- 29:02Speaker 10: he actually play the next game if you're talking about that,
- 29:06Speaker 10: like if he could, uh, he could play, but he
- 29:10Speaker 10: could be out for a few weeks.
- 29:14Speaker 8: I think that the forty nine ers would rock party
- 29:18Speaker 8: and their investment in him could easily smoke and mirror
- 29:23Speaker 8: us this year with a player like Rock Purty. Deebo
- 29:27Speaker 8: Samuel is gone, we don't know how many days Christian
- 29:31Speaker 8: McCaffrey might be around. Now you're saying George Kittle is out.
- 29:36Speaker 8: Now you start filling one of the receivers. I think
- 29:39Speaker 8: you can see he's been out, been out. And I
- 29:43Speaker 8: think another one maybe Brendan Jennings. I was reading Jennings
- 29:48Speaker 8: so that high powered. Well, now you start as an
- 29:54Speaker 8: organization GM coach the whole. How can we might as
- 29:59Speaker 8: well get rock? But I can't just take him like
- 30:03Speaker 8: college and just move remove him. But I don't really
- 30:08Speaker 8: want to plan with these guys.
- 30:13Speaker 7: I don't really probably like if everyone else were more
- 30:19Speaker 7: like relatively healthy, he'd probably be out there, But with
- 30:23Speaker 7: all these guys being hurt, we don't want to risk it.
- 30:27Speaker 8: So I'm giving you the whole multiple weeks, meaning that
- 30:31Speaker 8: if George Kittles say he's ready to go, you know,
- 30:33Speaker 8: two or three of these guys next week are saying, okay,
- 30:36Speaker 8: I can go, and I'm ready to put him back
- 30:38Speaker 8: in there. But I don't really want to put him
- 30:40Speaker 8: out there.
- 30:42Speaker 9: And but your old line for no reason, but your
- 30:45Speaker 9: old line is still intact.
- 30:48Speaker 7: They should he'd still got to have some guys to
- 30:50Speaker 7: throw to. But that's what I just remember.
- 30:54Speaker 8: I said, when we open, you have to take off
- 30:57Speaker 8: your identity of how you how football used to be
- 31:03Speaker 8: presented to you and start looking at how it is today.
- 31:10Speaker 8: They're more concern of protecting their money than they are
- 31:18Speaker 8: delivering a product to you. So I'm giving this kid
- 31:23Speaker 8: forty fifty million dollars. I'm not putting them out here
- 31:26Speaker 8: with a bunch of second and third receivers. Wow, he's
- 31:31Speaker 8: not going, But did you give him that money.
- 31:32Speaker 9: He's supposed to be able to make it happen that
- 31:34Speaker 9: the second or third receiver, especially if if if you're.
- 31:38Speaker 8: A line producer, that's some live people tell it all
- 31:42Speaker 8: is the same package. It all works together. Nobody is
- 31:48Speaker 8: out there. It was a combo.
- 31:51Speaker 7: It was Joe Montana and Jerry Rice and Roger Craig,
- 31:55Speaker 7: and then when it was Steve Young, it was Ricky
- 31:58Speaker 7: Waters and Terrell and Jerry Rice. You're these You can't
- 32:04Speaker 7: make something better if it's nothing to make with it.
- 32:09Speaker 8: That's that's why I just said, you're talking about an
- 32:11Speaker 8: old school mindset. You're talking about putting Peyton Manning back
- 32:15Speaker 8: in the nineties with a bunch of guys you don't
- 32:18Speaker 8: know today If Marvin Harrison and his top tight end
- 32:21Speaker 8: can't play, and I have any kind of excuse not
- 32:25Speaker 8: to play my quarterback. I'm not gonna play in so
- 32:29Speaker 8: NFL do a load management.
- 32:31Speaker 10: Now, it's not load manment in their mind. Is with
- 32:37Speaker 10: your load management is Kawhi didn't want to play even
- 32:40Speaker 10: when other starters.
- 32:42Speaker 8: He don't want to play on them back to back
- 32:45Speaker 8: after three games in a row, he was tired. I
- 32:47Speaker 8: don't feel like playing the night. That's load management. I
- 32:52Speaker 8: think I can beat this team without my top three players,
- 32:55Speaker 8: so I'm gonna let them rest and play. That's load management.
- 32:58Speaker 8: This is not this is modern day football. They're not
- 33:02Speaker 8: gonna You're on an old school paint. I'm not disagreeing
- 33:07Speaker 8: with you, but that plan is not really out of
- 33:11Speaker 8: They're not gonna take Joe Burrow and make him prove
- 33:14Speaker 8: that he Joe Burrow without his top three receivers. You
- 33:19Speaker 8: never saw Damn Marino like that. That's what I'm just saying.
- 33:22Speaker 9: He with whoever out, you out and catch the ball,
- 33:24Speaker 9: you know I'm coming to you.
- 33:28Speaker 10: And and and in some cases, if it wasn't if
- 33:31Speaker 10: if one of his linemen was out, his left tackles
- 33:35Speaker 10: out or something, and I mean that there there's always
- 33:39Speaker 10: the there's always the risk with putting that guy out
- 33:42Speaker 10: there with guys that he doesn't actually have that that
- 33:45Speaker 10: chemistry with. So if you're putting a quarterback out there
- 33:49Speaker 10: with his with the third and fourth string receivers he has,
- 33:53Speaker 10: how many reps has he actually gotten with them in
- 33:57Speaker 10: practice or even in training camp? Does he even know they're.
- 34:00Speaker 8: And I'm just talking to right, and I'm just talking
- 34:03Speaker 8: about the quarterback position because since the NFL and the
- 34:08Speaker 8: fan base has decided that the quarterback is the only
- 34:12Speaker 8: position you need, and the quarterback is the only reason
- 34:16Speaker 8: you win, and you decided to make him God as
- 34:21Speaker 8: though the other pieces on the field don't matter. All
- 34:25Speaker 8: you need is a quarterback. That's what Martin Football tells you, Right, Yes,
- 34:29Speaker 8: all you need is a court. You don't need a receiver,
- 34:31Speaker 8: you don't need a O line. You'll need a secondary.
- 34:34Speaker 7: If he's that nice, you shouldn't be.
- 34:37Speaker 8: Nobody's that nice.
- 34:40Speaker 10: Yes, that's to say that, like they're nobody in the
- 34:44Speaker 10: league is even that that nice? Who's even close to
- 34:47Speaker 10: that where they overcome injuries or you know, playing with
- 34:52Speaker 10: guys they haven't played with that much. Who who can
- 34:55Speaker 10: overcome that?
- 34:57Speaker 8: All the time.
- 35:00Speaker 7: I was I could say possibly Joe Burrows he could
- 35:03Speaker 7: play if he didn't have his receiver.
- 35:06Speaker 8: No, he could get the ball.
- 35:07Speaker 10: And I saw them without T Higgins and it was
- 35:09Speaker 10: a struggle like his his number two receiver, and there
- 35:13Speaker 10: was a struggle his.
- 35:14Speaker 8: Team, team struggle. Okay, Yeah, that's what I'm saying. This
- 35:20Speaker 8: is just and this is just the quarterback. If the
- 35:23Speaker 8: receivers are healthy, they're gonna play, if the tight end
- 35:25Speaker 8: is healthy, regardless who was the quarterback.
- 35:27Speaker 10: Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Then that's not how they
- 35:30Speaker 10: do the quarterback. I've seen Tom Brady struggle when when
- 35:33Speaker 10: Gronk was hurt because that he would Gronk was their
- 35:38Speaker 10: best receiver. But with with Gronk not in there then.
- 35:43Speaker 8: And I'm just explaining. I'm explaining and we can move on.
- 35:47Speaker 8: I'm explaining the question that Greg asked. How did it
- 35:50Speaker 8: go from possibly this week, but maybe multiple weeks because
- 35:55Speaker 8: they're gonna be weighing and measuring how many of our
- 35:59Speaker 8: actual healthy assets can I put on the field with him,
- 36:05Speaker 8: And if all they have is second and guys off
- 36:08Speaker 8: the street, they're gonna maybe extended for next week, another week.
- 36:15Speaker 10: And they had this issue last year. I mean, brock
- 36:17Speaker 10: Perty stayed out there. But now if he's if he's
- 36:20Speaker 10: a little banged up, then they even have more of
- 36:23Speaker 10: a reason to protect that investment in him.
- 36:28Speaker 8: Injury bug all around. Check your team. As I said,
- 36:30Speaker 8: I don't know who's hurt tonight. I do know Jordan
- 36:32Speaker 8: Love is playing and Jade Daniels most likely is Deebo
- 36:37Speaker 8: Samuel active for the Commanders. Yes, he'll be playing tonight.
- 36:40Speaker 9: Yeah, I haven't seen that he Hey, it's so on
- 36:43Speaker 9: the second game debo usually about fourth game in we
- 36:46Speaker 9: know we get the little starts getting those eights, and
- 36:49Speaker 9: it usually happens on the after Thursday night game. And
- 36:53Speaker 9: he really didn't get a full like you say, a rest.
- 36:56Speaker 9: They don't you know, he didn't get the full treatment.
- 36:59Speaker 8: Yeah, we'll be back with more the Sports Jock Show
- 37:01Speaker 8: right after this.
- 37:05Speaker 19: I cannot forget I had that strap bomb here, yo,
- 37:09Speaker 19: rest in peace to my ner all. We want to
- 37:14Speaker 19: do it bomb and we're playing the Weeds a hard.

- 39:57Speaker 24: sing even very charming.
- 40:00Speaker 8: Welcome back to this boy Shock show, the spot Shock
- 40:03Speaker 8: Wayne Againdee. Matt Barne says h the NFL contacted him
- 40:10Speaker 8: to consult about We'd abuse in the n B. A
- 40:20Speaker 8: interesting we'd abuse in the n B.
- 40:25Speaker 9: Then now hold up the collective bargain agreement one year,
- 40:28Speaker 9: it was like that's what was holding up they were
- 40:32Speaker 9: that was one of the situations there about the drug
- 40:36Speaker 9: testing with the marijuana.
- 40:39Speaker 8: I do know somewhere there maybe that it's bround two thousand,
- 40:44Speaker 8: that might have been some part of the deal that
- 40:47Speaker 8: they wanted maybe to raise and then at some other
- 40:51Speaker 8: point I think they just kind of removed it completely.
- 40:55Speaker 8: But there has to be some kind of game to you.
- 40:58Speaker 8: This is Matt Barne and words, some kind of sense
- 41:03Speaker 8: to you. You've got to be professional on and off
- 41:05Speaker 8: the court, especially when cannabis is a freedom you have,
- 41:10Speaker 8: but don't misuse it. He also stressed that young players
- 41:15Speaker 8: who fall into the trap should step back and reflect.
- 41:22Speaker 8: Should the NBA just go back to testing guys? When
- 41:28Speaker 8: you when you look at the situation, should they just
- 41:31Speaker 8: go back.
- 41:34Speaker 9: Well, I mean if they do go back to testing,
- 41:37Speaker 9: when you where you got the states that where it
- 41:40Speaker 9: is recreational and legal.
- 41:45Speaker 8: That has nothing to do with your job, well that's.
- 41:48Speaker 10: They would have to if they wanted to go back
- 41:52Speaker 10: to that. I think it'll be hard getting the players
- 41:54Speaker 10: to agree to that because they've already too like the
- 41:58Speaker 10: NBA does it isn't stick for that.
- 42:02Speaker 8: I doubt it. I doubt that these guys would sit
- 42:06Speaker 8: out and lose their forty million dollar year contracts to
- 42:11Speaker 8: the one thing that changed also when it was two
- 42:14Speaker 8: or three five million a year, then I'll sit out,
- 42:17Speaker 8: sit on my hand. Yeah, but now you're paying some
- 42:21Speaker 8: guy the forty to fifty dollars million. Those guys are
- 42:25Speaker 8: not about to sit on their hands about smoking weed.
- 42:29Speaker 8: They're not going to protect each other. I can cut
- 42:32Speaker 8: out smoking weed for fifty million dollars. That that might
- 42:39Speaker 8: be you, though, No, I'm talking we're all money motivated.
- 42:43Speaker 8: We're all money motivated when it comes that the more money,
- 42:46Speaker 8: the more sensible your brain becomes, the more you cut
- 42:49Speaker 8: out the drugs over for for one dollar, you might
- 42:55Speaker 8: not give up sugar, but for fifty million dollars, you
- 43:00Speaker 8: would give up sugar and find the substitute. So yeah,
- 43:08Speaker 8: and I'm not saying that there's not one outline. I'm
- 43:11Speaker 8: saying not enough to cause a work stoppage. Does that
- 43:17Speaker 8: make Does that make enough sense? Yeah? I mean I
- 43:22Speaker 8: understand that there's some.
- 43:25Speaker 10: You are I think you are going to see like
- 43:26Speaker 10: there are players who are like they they would like
- 43:31Speaker 10: I said, I don't think like all these players are
- 43:33Speaker 10: are like Ricky Williams, But I think there are there
- 43:37Speaker 10: are some players who would who would hesitate to to
- 43:42Speaker 10: give it up. You know, if the NBA went to
- 43:45Speaker 10: go back to that, I'm gonna say as a for
- 43:48Speaker 10: the for the league, for the players, it would be
- 43:51Speaker 10: hard to get a majority of players to agree to go.
- 43:54Speaker 8: To go back to testing. I don't think so. I
- 43:59Speaker 8: don't think so.
- 44:00Speaker 9: Well, but it was a hard sale and the last
- 44:04Speaker 9: time I think it's gonna be tough.
- 44:06Speaker 8: Hard sale was the amount of money, but the money
- 44:09Speaker 8: is now astronomical. I'm not going to avoid this. They
- 44:12Speaker 8: give me two hundred million dollars for four years, what
- 44:17Speaker 8: about four years? But all they want me to do
- 44:21Speaker 8: is not smoke marijuana?
- 44:26Speaker 9: What about the states that let's go back to the
- 44:28Speaker 9: states that are legal, whereas that has nothing to do
- 44:32Speaker 9: with the job, but to go back to the job.
- 44:34Speaker 9: But Broncos are in Denver.
- 44:36Speaker 10: They yeah, I'm sure where they drug test people. It
- 44:42Speaker 10: may be legal, but you know you got a test
- 44:47Speaker 10: coming on Monday. Well, so they just start.
- 44:49Speaker 9: I mean, so what about the alcoholic then the person
- 44:52Speaker 9: that that's.
- 44:53Speaker 8: Not that's not on the banded substance.
- 44:56Speaker 10: Yeah, it's not a it's not a banned substance in
- 44:58Speaker 10: every in some states.
- 45:00Speaker 9: I understand what what I'm saying is that there's other
- 45:03Speaker 9: vices that this cause of problems besides just the marijuana.
- 45:08Speaker 10: Nobody said it wasn't, but that's none on the list.
- 45:13Speaker 10: There guys who there guys there. There have been guys
- 45:15Speaker 10: in the league who were banned because they drank too much.
- 45:18Speaker 10: But when it becomes a problem, that's when you know
- 45:22Speaker 10: the team or the league would step in for that.
- 45:25Speaker 10: But as far as we goes, it's not.
- 45:30Speaker 8: It's not legal in.
- 45:31Speaker 10: Every state, so that that part actually that that's it
- 45:35Speaker 10: doesn't it's not really relevant to to this kind of
- 45:38Speaker 10: situation where our players, our players amusing enough. Should do
- 45:43Speaker 10: the league go back to testing for it? I think
- 45:46Speaker 10: it would. I still do think it would be hard
- 45:48Speaker 10: to get. Like, I don't know how the vote goes,
- 45:51Speaker 10: if there has to be a certain number of players
- 45:52Speaker 10: or whatever to agree, but uh, I think it'll be
- 45:56Speaker 10: hard to get to that if that's If that's what's required.
- 45:59Speaker 8: Lebron James is not going to miss out on his money.
- 46:02Speaker 10: They're gonna be plenty of players like him. They're like,
- 46:06Speaker 10: KD is not going to mess out. I'm going to
- 46:08Speaker 10: mess up my money. Steph Curry is not about to
- 46:10Speaker 10: mess up on their money. Picked the women, Yama, the joker,
- 46:16Speaker 10: what's your man name?
- 46:17Speaker 8: Luca? These guys are not about to miss out on
- 46:21Speaker 8: this money because player number twelve thirteen and those guys
- 46:28Speaker 8: want to smoke weed. It's is not in my opinion.
- 46:39Speaker 8: That's why I said, when it was a dollar, a
- 46:40Speaker 8: million dollars, Sure, fifty million dollars. You can't give up
- 46:47Speaker 8: something for fifty million dollars. You got something in your
- 46:52Speaker 8: life that you can't give up, some kind of food, medicine,
- 46:56Speaker 8: thing that you don't actually need for fifty million.
- 47:02Speaker 10: No, I mean there is there is no There is
- 47:06Speaker 10: no thing that I would give up fifty million for.
- 47:10Speaker 10: But there's some players. I just believe there there are
- 47:12Speaker 10: enough players to wear it is worth it. And I
- 47:16Speaker 10: know that doesn't It's like it won't make sense to
- 47:19Speaker 10: someone who says, no, there's nothing worth it for someone
- 47:22Speaker 10: it is.
- 47:24Speaker 8: Yeah, And that's why I said, when they go to vote,
- 47:26Speaker 8: there are going to be those handful of guys, but
- 47:29Speaker 8: you're going to need a certain percentage who is okay,
- 47:36Speaker 8: And you'll be amazed how a lot of these guys
- 47:40Speaker 8: really need a fifty million dollars because the first all
- 47:43Speaker 8: I need the first two hundred the first two hundred million.
- 47:45Speaker 7: I mean they've already, Yeah, they've already, they've already spent
- 47:48Speaker 7: the fifty million.
- 47:49Speaker 8: Their back the kid. Yeah, I meaned it. I need it.
- 47:51Speaker 8: I need it. We'll be back to Spot show right
- 47:54Speaker 8: after this.

- 49:35Speaker 25: but it's time we know the facts. Fentanyl is killing people.
- 49:38Speaker 25: It's a powerful opiod, often made illegally and commonly mixed
- 49:41Speaker 25: with illicted drugs. It can even be pressed into counterfeit
- 49:45Speaker 25: pills that resemble prescription medications. Just two milligrams, about the
- 49:49Speaker 25: size of a few grains of sand, could potentially be lethal.

- 50:04Speaker 6: And now back to the sports Gibt, Wayne Gay.
- 50:09Speaker 26: Center cord on Sports News Gossip. Blah blah blah blah, blaud.
- 50:19Speaker 21: H roll out, roll out, roll out, rolled Out, roll Out,
- 50:42Speaker 21: roll Out, roll out.
- 50:46Speaker 6: Roll.
- 50:48Speaker 8: Welcome back to this spot. Shock Shah, this spot shock
- 50:51Speaker 8: Wayne Gandee. Tonight. Not only is there THURSDA Night football,
- 50:57Speaker 8: Tonight is the Lives couple of games of the w
- 51:01Speaker 8: NBA regular season. The play off start on a Sunday,
- 51:08Speaker 8: so check your local listings. I think a couple of
- 51:13Speaker 8: situations tonight will be about seating, so I think whoever's
- 51:18Speaker 8: in is in now, but wins and losses will kind
- 51:22Speaker 8: of shuffle who is playing who starting on a Sunday.
- 51:28Speaker 8: This Sunday, we were talking about the addiction to a
- 51:32Speaker 8: lot of guys in the NBA, and I wonder anytime
- 51:36Speaker 8: I see those kind of statistics or that Matt Barnes
- 51:40Speaker 8: has to go talk to guys about. And it's you know,
- 51:46Speaker 8: from reading the article, it's more of you're smoking so
- 51:50Speaker 8: much you don't realize that it's carrying over to the game.
- 51:54Speaker 8: You're you're not as present as you need to be
- 51:58Speaker 8: because you don't have you know, you're not understanding, well,
- 52:02Speaker 8: you should have smoked this about eight a m. But
- 52:06Speaker 8: smoking this on the way to the stadium is not
- 52:09Speaker 8: letting the best of you shine. You know, in a
- 52:12Speaker 8: lot of situations, like any drug can affect your whether
- 52:17Speaker 8: it be alcohol or anything else. If you're not if
- 52:19Speaker 8: it's not out of your system, you're thinking you're giving
- 52:21Speaker 8: the best, but not always necessary. But I wonder how
- 52:25Speaker 8: much of it it is that it is legal. You
- 52:30Speaker 8: never know how many people you deterre from doing things
- 52:34Speaker 8: by the law. Didn't seem to work. If that's how
- 52:38Speaker 8: you feel. If you think you've created a whole new
- 52:42Speaker 8: era of weed addicted basketball players, then lifting the band
- 52:49Speaker 8: didn't seem to help, did it? Now? Maybe not?
- 52:55Speaker 9: What Elder Casey said, would you want your pilot high?
- 53:00Speaker 8: That's what you want your surgeon hi? And then he
- 53:04Speaker 8: goes off. It's a whole.
- 53:05Speaker 7: You know, nobody wants anybody high, but everybody is okay.
- 53:09Speaker 8: With being high. You don't want anyone your pain to
- 53:13Speaker 8: come do a job for you to be high or drunk.
- 53:17Speaker 8: But then everybody's an advocate el the Casey is making
- 53:20Speaker 8: a great point. We we it's I paid a ticket
- 53:24Speaker 8: to come watch you play. You mean, you're not even
- 53:27Speaker 8: in your right mind. But then you don't want your
- 53:33Speaker 8: lawyer to show up the court high, and then he
- 53:38Speaker 8: goes on you want him to you know, it's like,
- 53:42Speaker 8: but we have decided, Oh well, no, I don't want
- 53:45Speaker 8: anyone that I'm actually especially paying or or even taking
- 53:49Speaker 8: my time to engage, to believe that they're not there
- 53:54Speaker 8: at least trying to be the best of them. But
- 53:57Speaker 8: we have this idea with smoking and drugs and things like.
- 54:02Speaker 8: Oh but when it gets too important, you would fire
- 54:05Speaker 8: your lawyer and sue him if he came to court
- 54:09Speaker 8: with you. Even if you won the case, you would
- 54:13Speaker 8: still be like on the fringe of thinking, I got
- 54:18Speaker 8: a lawsuit? Did you come represent me in this court case?
- 54:22Speaker 8: He's drunk. It's a couple of pilots have been arrested, right,
- 54:27Speaker 8: I think the co pilot they just had a pilem recently,
- 54:30Speaker 8: they just had to take off the plane because one
- 54:33Speaker 8: of the flight attendants said they smelled something or it
- 54:39Speaker 8: was something like that. I forget which airline recently, just recently, Yeah,
- 54:42Speaker 8: it was recently. And it's so funny.
- 54:44Speaker 9: Case I want to say, Paul meaning from the Bible,
- 54:47Speaker 9: Damascus roll Paul anti Art. All things are lawful for me,
- 54:51Speaker 9: but all things aren't e speedy in.
- 54:54Speaker 8: So I mean that. I guess he's say he's in
- 54:59Speaker 8: agreeance with you. Yeah, I'm just and that's what I'm saying.
- 55:02Speaker 8: I wonder how much of it is because sometimes the
- 55:07Speaker 8: law curves. You don't necessarily put a law always that
- 55:13Speaker 8: is going to completely wipe out. You just try to curve.
- 55:18Speaker 9: Was telling somebody get control, maintaining everybody some type of.
- 55:23Speaker 8: I was having conversation about mothers. A mom in a household,
- 55:30Speaker 8: if mom is okay with it, then the kids the
- 55:36Speaker 8: household is okay with it, a lot of times nobody is.
- 55:41Speaker 8: You know, if mom will hold the drugs or the
- 55:44Speaker 8: gun or the fake. If Mama okay with it, you
- 55:49Speaker 8: can get in the car and tell you mom, yeah
- 55:50Speaker 8: I just robbed that. Oh okay, baby, don't worry about it.
- 55:53Speaker 8: You're going to continue to do it if you don't
- 55:55Speaker 8: feel any kind of that's usually that's how the usually
- 55:58Speaker 8: the mom figure in the house stands. If you can
- 56:02Speaker 8: get her on board with your foolishness, you'll stay in
- 56:07Speaker 8: that foolishness. That's why we always do a little skit
- 56:12Speaker 8: of I wonder how that phone call went, calling your
- 56:16Speaker 8: mama to tell her that you've found you in the dryer.
- 56:20Speaker 8: Remember the kid that was in the dryer down in Florida,
- 56:23Speaker 8: his babies, that you in the dryer. Yeah, my mom,
- 56:27Speaker 8: you know, Mama was probably she probably somewhere right now
- 56:30Speaker 8: again some counseling because she trying to figure out what
- 56:32Speaker 8: went wrong that my son is hiding in a dryern?
- 56:37Speaker 8: How can ride? So h But the NBA had that problem,
- 56:42Speaker 8: like a lot of things. The next hour, we're gonna
- 56:43Speaker 8: talk about gambling. How much that relaxing the idea that
- 56:49Speaker 8: gambling is wrong has spilled already in its short existence
- 56:55Speaker 8: into sports. It's only been three years that people have
- 57:01Speaker 8: kind of loosened up the idea that it's okay to gamble,
- 57:06Speaker 8: and we've already got guys banned for life, and you know,
- 57:11Speaker 8: all that kind of stuff. We'll talk about it on
- 57:13Speaker 8: the next hour. Well, the gambling is just like the drugs. Yeah,
- 57:16Speaker 8: we know you're one of those people that need to
- 57:18Speaker 8: assimilate everything to we get it.
- 57:21Speaker 21: We get it.
- 57:22Speaker 8: We're not saying it isn't it's an addiction, is it?
- 57:30Speaker 8: I mean it, I don't know. I mean, I'm you know.
- 57:35Speaker 8: Is it an addiction or is it a shortcut gambling? Gambling?
- 57:42Speaker 8: And I'm saying drugs like those things? Right up This
- 58:01Speaker 8: Don't Go Away or of.
- 58:02Speaker 12: The Sports Jock Show with Wayne Dan videos coming up next.
- 58:08Speaker 15: We've all been there waiting for hours at your local

- 58:57Speaker 15: let's talk about something exciting, life insurance. Three orders of
- 59:00Speaker 15: Americans believe that coverage represents a critical piece of financial security,
- 59:04Speaker 15: yet only forty nine percent actually have life insurance.
- 59:07Speaker 27: When I was twenty five, me and my wife were
- 59:09Speaker 27: just getting started with our family and thought, we live
- 59:11Speaker 27: forever life insurance.
- 59:12Speaker 2: What's the last thing on my mind?
- 59:14Speaker 8: What about you?
- 59:15Speaker 2: Will you be leaving benefits or bills?
- 59:17Speaker 27: When I was forty, with a kid in college and
- 59:19Speaker 27: bills piling up, I was worried how my family will
- 59:21Speaker 27: survive without me. That's what I made an appointment with
- 59:23Speaker 27: the insurance informant.
- 59:24Speaker 15: Information gives you power, and life insurance gives your family
- 59:27Speaker 15: security no matter what stage of life you're in.
- 59:30Speaker 27: Now that I'm molder, I don't worry about whether I
- 59:32Speaker 27: leave my family with bills or benefits.
- 59:34Speaker 8: The answer is easy.
- 59:35Speaker 15: Whether you're twenty five or fifty, whether you earn a
- 59:37Speaker 15: little or a lot, all you need is the insurance
- 59:40Speaker 15: informant to help you build a foundation of security, because
- 59:43Speaker 15: without you, your family will have two options, benefits or bills?

- 1:00:02Speaker 8: Okay.
- 1:00:03Speaker 20: Mom's wisdom has served you well, but now it may

- 1:00:08Speaker 1: Hey, I'm worried about mom. She keeps forgetting her famous
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: sweet potato pie recipe.
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: Some things come with me, says some doubt.
- 1:00:16Speaker 20: Knowing the early signs of Alzheimer's and a left one

- 1:00:27Speaker 28: Ever tried balancing a dozen eggs in one hand while
- 1:00:29Speaker 28: hopping on one foot, or maybe juggling cats while riding
- 1:00:33Speaker 28: the unicycle. Sounds ridiculous, right, but guess what? That's exactly
- 1:00:37Speaker 28: what texting while driving is like. Your human brain only
- 1:00:40Speaker 28: has the capacity to focus on one thing at a time.
- 1:00:43Speaker 28: So when you're behind the wheel, give driving your undivided attention.
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: Don't drive distracted.

- 1:01:06Speaker 24: the world ransom for Wayne.
- 1:01:08Speaker 6: Excuse me while I whipped this.
- 1:01:10Speaker 4: Out shoot broadcasting live and it led her Georgia. This
- 1:01:16Speaker 4: this is the Sports Shock Ship with Wayne Candy.
- 1:01:20Speaker 28: You pig began me up?
- 1:01:23Speaker 6: Can you pling me down again?
- 1:01:24Speaker 5: You flank me down?
- 1:01:26Speaker 6: Do come to come to Cockeye.
- 1:01:29Speaker 7: Comes to Mark?
- 1:01:30Speaker 10: Is it just.
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: I'm gonna do it begin, I'm gonna go.
- 1:01:37Speaker 7: On the way you vegan.
- 1:01:40Speaker 8: Welcome back to the Sport Shop Shue, the Sportshock Winge Candy.
- 1:01:43Speaker 8: Good morning to you out there in this thing landa uh.
- 1:01:47Speaker 8: We have reached week two. As we talked about in
- 1:01:50Speaker 8: that first hour of the commanders at the Packers on
- 1:01:54Speaker 8: a short week start the season, Thursday football and most
- 1:02:00Speaker 8: things you see in the NFL, they do a little
- 1:02:05Speaker 8: test and see if you go forward, and then they
- 1:02:08Speaker 8: implemented they were able to sell a whole Thursday Night
- 1:02:11Speaker 8: package to Prime Video. So Christmas, the Netflix and YouTube
- 1:02:18Speaker 8: bought the series from Direct TV. There's nothing that can't
- 1:02:23Speaker 8: be bought in the NFL. Jerry's world as Jerry Jones
- 1:02:27Speaker 8: has always been given credit for being the pioneer of
- 1:02:33Speaker 8: showing not just the NFL, but all leagues how to
- 1:02:36Speaker 8: monetize every aspect of the business. We all talked about
- 1:02:42Speaker 8: Lamar Jackson and shoving the fan Jalen Carter, we didn't
- 1:02:47Speaker 8: get to talk about the Eagles. The NFL was satisfied
- 1:02:51Speaker 8: that since he didn't get to play and he basically
- 1:02:55Speaker 8: has to forfeit his game check, and I figured that's
- 1:02:58Speaker 8: how they were going to handle it. As far as
- 1:02:59Speaker 8: the fine. He didn't even get a snap in. You
- 1:03:03Speaker 8: didn't play this week. That's what the Eagles went up
- 1:03:05Speaker 8: then and called him. How you're gonna suspend him? No,
- 1:03:07Speaker 8: but he ain't getting paid because you ain't playing. You
- 1:03:10Speaker 8: didn't even get hurt. I mean, this happened after the kickoff.
- 1:03:13Speaker 8: I don't think people understand. This wasn't a couple of
- 1:03:16Speaker 8: plays in. This was the ball was kicked off and
- 1:03:20Speaker 8: then you got kicked out. So Jayln Carter will be
- 1:03:25Speaker 8: in action this week. For the Eagles, and we talked
- 1:03:30Speaker 8: about the bad producer one. Everybody know the potatotato wedges
- 1:03:34Speaker 8: are bad. Sir at KFC like Christmas Day for him
- 1:03:38Speaker 8: on that willing to put it on his prayer clow
- 1:03:42Speaker 8: he added, Praier Clough out tomorrow night. As I said,
- 1:03:47Speaker 8: Buford the bruf of Beaufort Wolves, which are in North Georgia.
- 1:03:53Speaker 8: I called him the University of Buford because in the
- 1:03:57Speaker 8: last twenty five years there either one the state championship.
- 1:04:02Speaker 8: I think they've won it nineteen of those twenty five years.
- 1:04:06Speaker 8: They're in a drought. They haven't won it in the
- 1:04:08Speaker 8: last three they've played forward. That's a drought. That's a
- 1:04:12Speaker 8: drought too months. Yeah, I asked the coach yesterday doing
- 1:04:16Speaker 8: the meeting. I mean one or two plays. Yeah, he's won.
- 1:04:20Speaker 8: He's been there six years. He won three state championship.
- 1:04:23Speaker 8: He made to the semi in two and then last
- 1:04:26Speaker 8: year they got they didn't make the semi they made
- 1:04:29Speaker 8: the playoffs. And did he feel the pressure? The clock
- 1:04:32Speaker 8: is ticking? You know, it's only with that six a
- 1:04:36Speaker 8: long time. That six.
- 1:04:40Speaker 7: It's all relative. But a great game, as I said,
- 1:04:44Speaker 7: on both teams you're talking about five or six seniors
- 1:04:49Speaker 7: that some of the top players in the country. Uh
- 1:04:52Speaker 7: and going to big time program from Utah to Clemson
- 1:04:56Speaker 7: to Texas and m and all over the place. Buford
- 1:05:01Speaker 7: and Douglas County Tomorrow night high school football seven point
- 1:05:05Speaker 7: thirty NBA WNBA. Excuse me, their last regular season games
- 1:05:10Speaker 7: are tonight in the playoffs start on Sunday.
- 1:05:13Speaker 8: And we were talking about Matt Barnes. The legalization of
- 1:05:18Speaker 8: basically no rule about smoking seems to be on created
- 1:05:22Speaker 8: an era of NBA players where the league feels like
- 1:05:26Speaker 8: they got to call on the Matt Barnes to consult,
- 1:05:30Speaker 8: maybe get some ideas how to get guys to step
- 1:05:34Speaker 8: back a little bit. And as I said in this
- 1:05:37Speaker 8: situation as we went to break, is it that since
- 1:05:43Speaker 8: there's no rule, why guys indulge so much. It's like
- 1:05:53Speaker 8: at some point you got to tell your six year
- 1:05:57Speaker 8: old that's enough, well, that's enough ice cream. But if
- 1:06:04Speaker 8: you don't, they'll eat that ice cream to they're sick
- 1:06:08Speaker 8: and now my tummy hurt. And then you get to
- 1:06:11Speaker 8: tell them about there they'll drink as many and soda
- 1:06:14Speaker 8: as there's stomachs will allow them unless you say that's
- 1:06:17Speaker 8: enough sugar and then rice because you didn't put a
- 1:06:21Speaker 8: you didn't put a limit on it. So in this
- 1:06:25Speaker 8: in these rules, as I talk about gambling, we got
- 1:06:29Speaker 8: three college hoops players, two from Fresno State and the
- 1:06:34Speaker 8: other one I think from San Jose State.
- 1:06:36Speaker 29: Uh.
- 1:06:37Speaker 8: They have been banned for in the last couple of
- 1:06:39Speaker 8: days here for gambling. Malik Beasley. The n NBA is
- 1:06:45Speaker 8: investigating him again. We saw that Michael Porter Junior's brother
- 1:06:50Speaker 8: got banned from Toronto. The Kenny's in the studio.
- 1:06:55Speaker 7: Good morning, sir, Good morning sir, Good morning, commanch you
- 1:06:59Speaker 7: Greg bab we were I was listening on the way
- 1:07:05Speaker 7: in sports shock and to all of the people who
- 1:07:08Speaker 7: listen to us why they commute in the car. I
- 1:07:10Speaker 7: want to say two things. Number one, I hate you
- 1:07:14Speaker 7: whoever while you on the highway. And number two, I'm
- 1:07:17Speaker 7: sorry you got to go through that every day. It's
- 1:07:21Speaker 7: a madhouse out there.
- 1:07:22Speaker 8: But it's.
- 1:07:25Speaker 7: First of all, when you're talking about college and band,
- 1:07:32Speaker 7: that should be evidence enough that things too far. Collegen band.
- 1:07:36Speaker 7: You ain't even been around the sport at a gambling
- 1:07:40Speaker 7: level long enough to have developed bad enough habits where
- 1:07:45Speaker 7: we look, man, we can't have you associated with this
- 1:07:47Speaker 7: no more so. I mean, part of what I think
- 1:07:52Speaker 7: is a danger in this culture of freedom is that
- 1:07:55Speaker 7: you're free to be who you want to be until
- 1:07:58Speaker 7: it affects somebody else, and then when it affects somebody else,
- 1:08:03Speaker 7: you just hope that the damage is manageable, and if
- 1:08:07Speaker 7: it's not, then we run into the over correction stuff.
- 1:08:11Speaker 7: You see what I'm saying, You've added gambling to sports,
- 1:08:15Speaker 7: and now you just go to what I'm saying, you
- 1:08:17Speaker 7: getting completely getting rid of athletes. Never again can you play.
- 1:08:22Speaker 7: You can't come around us no more. We and nobody's
- 1:08:27Speaker 7: going why don't we take the gambling out? And we're
- 1:08:29Speaker 7: talking about in the era that you actually can make
- 1:08:34Speaker 7: money in college. You could see it thirty years ago
- 1:08:38Speaker 7: when guys were just getting a scholarship, but we've actually
- 1:08:42Speaker 7: instituted rules that you can figure out a way and
- 1:08:46Speaker 7: have you're a sponsor in il deals. Everybody's getting it
- 1:08:50Speaker 7: because that's the only way you can compete now is
- 1:08:52Speaker 7: if I get the scholarship, it has to come with
- 1:08:54Speaker 7: some sort of nil deal. The field understands that, so
- 1:08:59Speaker 7: that's already inserted when they approach you to play for
- 1:09:02Speaker 7: this university. You're gonna get this much in nil money.
- 1:09:06Speaker 7: And now it's that that's not enough for me. And
- 1:09:11Speaker 7: and how do we rain it in?
- 1:09:12Speaker 8: Well, I know one thing, we start off by all
- 1:09:15Speaker 8: apologizing to the people before us of mocking their rules
- 1:09:24Speaker 8: as though they were completely wrong. We act like their
- 1:09:30Speaker 8: rules were completely wrong, like I can't believe or not,
- 1:09:36Speaker 8: like they didn't have no rhyme or reason, you know,
- 1:09:39Speaker 8: every every rule. People they just want to get suppressed,
- 1:09:42Speaker 8: dominant suppression. You just want to hold up like they
- 1:09:46Speaker 8: have no kind of us get you want to limit
- 1:09:50Speaker 8: my earning. You ever thought about what they probably had
- 1:09:52Speaker 8: gone through. Maybe it was rampant. Maybe they in nineteen
- 1:09:58Speaker 8: fifty nine it was ramped Yeah, and they had the institute.
- 1:10:02Speaker 8: We don't know the history of all these rules all
- 1:10:04Speaker 8: the time, the rules of college basketball. The City College
- 1:10:10Speaker 8: of New York, it was a basketball powerhouse in the fifties.
- 1:10:13Speaker 8: There was a gambling scheme there and they had to
- 1:10:16Speaker 8: Basically no one knows that they won a couple of
- 1:10:18Speaker 8: national championships back there.
- 1:10:20Speaker 9: But I mean, and like you say, the rules are
- 1:10:22Speaker 9: are there, and you don't a lot of people don't
- 1:10:25Speaker 9: know the rules. There's rules that's on the book that's
- 1:10:27Speaker 9: outdated that need to be updated on some things.
- 1:10:31Speaker 8: And so well, I'm not saying I'm saying all rules
- 1:10:34Speaker 8: based on time can be massaged. Yeah, And I'm saying
- 1:10:37Speaker 8: we went at the rule like the rules were completely concrete, concrete,
- 1:10:43Speaker 8: and these people were trying to shove and it's like
- 1:10:46Speaker 8: and it's a reason for the four years. It was
- 1:10:48Speaker 8: the reason why the transfer. They were like, well, because
- 1:10:52Speaker 8: they were trying to make sure you made a good decision.
- 1:10:54Speaker 8: You can't just go the Southern miss and then get
- 1:10:57Speaker 8: down there and they won't start you.
- 1:10:59Speaker 7: And then two weeks you and Jackson State and literally
- 1:11:03Speaker 7: things like that are happening, like we we we've done
- 1:11:06Speaker 7: stories where the coach finds out that you left in
- 1:11:10Speaker 7: the middle of the day when someone calls and goes, yeah,
- 1:11:13Speaker 7: he transferred.
- 1:11:14Speaker 8: And it never used to be like that.
- 1:11:16Speaker 7: And gambling used to be for games of chance, like
- 1:11:19Speaker 7: somebody puts the ball on a roulette wheel and we
- 1:11:22Speaker 7: don't know.
- 1:11:23Speaker 8: Where it's stop profs living now.
- 1:11:26Speaker 7: No, I'm saying, when it comes to sports, we have
- 1:11:30Speaker 7: the opportunity to directly affect that outcome. I can get
- 1:11:35Speaker 7: to you, it can be manipulated. That's what I'm saying.
- 1:11:39Speaker 7: Slot machines. The thought is that you can't manipulate a
- 1:11:42Speaker 7: slot machine. Card counting is so difficult that it's hard
- 1:11:46Speaker 7: to manipulate that outcome. But I can tell you, I'll
- 1:11:49Speaker 7: give you fifty g's to just make three rebounds. That's manipulation,
- 1:11:53Speaker 7: and I can do that every game.
- 1:11:56Speaker 8: And this whole idea when you're saying gambling, there is
- 1:12:01Speaker 8: an aspect of a lot of things that's addictive, but
- 1:12:05Speaker 8: I've learned that the majority of something is just flooded
- 1:12:10Speaker 8: for people that's trying to take a shortcut. Most people
- 1:12:15Speaker 8: that are doing drugs are not addicted to drugs. They're
- 1:12:19Speaker 8: just doing drugs. Most people that drink are not alcoholics
- 1:12:23Speaker 8: at all. They're not even close to alcohol. They would
- 1:12:27Speaker 8: be called recreation, just like to drink. And Vegas is
- 1:12:31Speaker 8: not making money off gambling addicts because they're making money
- 1:12:37Speaker 8: off of us just being there thinking I can take
- 1:12:42Speaker 8: this hundred and May two.
- 1:12:44Speaker 7: Thousand, making a thousand, I can make it if I
- 1:12:47Speaker 7: can make it in the one fifty.
- 1:12:50Speaker 8: Believe that's all. It's not. Nobody's addicted to it. They
- 1:12:53Speaker 8: get on their plane, and don't believe some people don't
- 1:12:58Speaker 8: even gamble until they go to those kind of places.
- 1:13:02Speaker 8: The attic gambles anywhere he can find. But some people
- 1:13:06Speaker 8: only they're on the boat. And somebody said it was
- 1:13:10Speaker 8: a casino downstairs where your wife come back to the room.
- 1:13:14Speaker 8: It's a casino downs what that which downs? Theres three? Okay?
- 1:13:20Speaker 8: Got what I was looking for, im. I'm saying so
- 1:13:25Speaker 8: when you made that statement, when you made that statement,
- 1:13:28Speaker 8: I was just luding you to that that's not where
- 1:13:31Speaker 8: That's not where the hunk of the money is. Just
- 1:13:34Speaker 8: like with the gambling when we had that episode, and
- 1:13:37Speaker 8: I was trying to tell you if the money can
- 1:13:41Speaker 8: be made in prop betting, you have unleashed an animal.
- 1:13:48Speaker 7: You're saying that I don't have to throw the game.
- 1:13:51Speaker 7: What I can still go back and hot Rod. I
- 1:13:56Speaker 7: can still go back in big basket, Kenny.
- 1:14:00Speaker 8: I only need to score. Just don't score more than
- 1:14:02Speaker 8: thirty five. Watch how fast I run it up to
- 1:14:06Speaker 8: thirty four. I know Jonathan Mitchell did that one night.
- 1:14:09Speaker 8: He could have.
- 1:14:10Speaker 7: They took him out of the game. I can score
- 1:14:11Speaker 7: thirty four and you'll give me the fifty g's. Yeah,
- 1:14:13Speaker 7: don't score thirty five.
- 1:14:15Speaker 8: That's what I'm saying. Oh, we're good. That happened one night.
- 1:14:17Speaker 8: Though you've let me off the hook. I can make
- 1:14:19Speaker 8: fifty g's and win three. I can score thirty four points,
- 1:14:23Speaker 8: which is already gonna get me to Play of the
- 1:14:25Speaker 8: Week in the conference, right game in the game.
- 1:14:29Speaker 7: And the only thing tips you up because I started,
- 1:14:32Speaker 7: I started doing the math in my head. Now that
- 1:14:34Speaker 7: three point five?
- 1:14:36Speaker 8: Okay. The only thing tipped me off was my jealous teammate.
- 1:14:40Speaker 8: Oh man, he fifty. We'll be back a little bit.
- 1:14:48Speaker 8: That sounds jealous. If you got clay bills and you
- 1:14:55Speaker 8: lost the job, tell me what.
- 1:14:57Speaker 2: You can do, don't bow away.
- 1:15:04Speaker 6: Or of the Sports Jock Show with Wayne Dan Radios.

- 1:18:08Speaker 8: It's a big booty. Come all I want for my birthday.
- 1:18:13Speaker 8: Welcome back to the Sportshock Shop. I'm the sports Shocks
- 1:18:16Speaker 8: Wing Candy. And it's just so many incidents are already
- 1:18:21Speaker 8: just flooding the commanding Greg with somebody Eastern Michigan, and
- 1:18:23Speaker 8: I started thinking about the young Falcon player, the relief,
- 1:18:29Speaker 8: and then I started thinking about the guys for the
- 1:18:31Speaker 8: Detroit Lions and just that little short window. Basically since COVID,
- 1:18:39Speaker 8: since we've relaxed this idea of gambling, all these people
- 1:18:43Speaker 8: have been banned and suspended and fined, and it's just
- 1:18:51Speaker 8: when you go right before that, none of this but
- 1:18:54Speaker 8: this idea of gambling and that it's just this way
- 1:18:57Speaker 8: of life. And as I said, the prop bet is
- 1:19:00Speaker 8: the key to it. I'm telling you, as an athlete,
- 1:19:05Speaker 8: I have to sit there and like, okay, so my
- 1:19:08Speaker 8: biggest thing is you coming to me about winning loss.
- 1:19:11Speaker 8: I'm not my pride. My constitution can't be boughted. Now
- 1:19:20Speaker 8: you just even you up a sectoe. So you're just saying,
- 1:19:23Speaker 8: at some point, just let the dude get a set.
- 1:19:26Speaker 8: That's all you. And this is the thing. Up we
- 1:19:30Speaker 8: up twenty one. If it's time to get it out
- 1:19:33Speaker 8: the way, as soon as props earlier in the game, Well,
- 1:19:35Speaker 8: soon as we go up twenty one, and are he's coming.
- 1:19:39Speaker 8: As soon as we go up twenty one, here he comes.
- 1:19:41Speaker 8: Oh he didn't beat me. No, I went the wrong direction.
- 1:19:44Speaker 7: Yeah, coach my head, I thought you heard. I thought
- 1:19:47Speaker 7: you said, Roger, Roger, I'm locked in now. But now
- 1:19:52Speaker 7: I'm locked in.
- 1:19:53Speaker 8: I got it.
- 1:19:54Speaker 7: I got it now this time for real, coach, I'm
- 1:19:58Speaker 7: locked in.
- 1:19:58Speaker 8: And this is the thing.
- 1:20:00Speaker 7: A lot of what we see with this manipulation of
- 1:20:02Speaker 7: prop bets is with the ones you wouldn't suspect because
- 1:20:06Speaker 7: you have to be starting to be able to affect
- 1:20:08Speaker 7: the outcoming.
- 1:20:09Speaker 8: But why you won't get somebody to bet for you,
- 1:20:11Speaker 8: That's what I understand.
- 1:20:12Speaker 10: Why do I believe there are plenty of guys who
- 1:20:17Speaker 10: have someone do it for Yeah, call me bet for
- 1:20:20Speaker 10: you all day.
- 1:20:21Speaker 8: But they were still they're still in trouble. They still
- 1:20:23Speaker 8: and now I have Now I have somebody who can
- 1:20:26Speaker 8: snitch on me. I ain't telling nothing. That's what a
- 1:20:29Speaker 8: lot of people.
- 1:20:31Speaker 7: Across from me to the Phibby say, look, man, all
- 1:20:35Speaker 7: you may, and then they start doing All you made
- 1:20:39Speaker 7: was thirty thousand.
- 1:20:40Speaker 8: They showed a new way. He made six men.
- 1:20:42Speaker 9: Well, we in Atlanta, and the snitching ain't a thing
- 1:20:46Speaker 9: in Atlanta no more apparently, so we ain't telling them.
- 1:20:48Speaker 8: It's just you talking about it.
- 1:20:50Speaker 7: Yeah, that's stuff people, that's again, that's media. That's space.
- 1:20:55Speaker 8: Trust me on the record on the wreck yard snitch
- 1:20:58Speaker 8: and still count come the birth. He's here today going
- 1:21:01Speaker 8: into the weekend. I mean, Luda Chris is forty eight
- 1:21:05Speaker 8: years old, Trogi p Henson fifty five, the speedy receiver
- 1:21:12Speaker 8: for the Ravens. Z A. Flowers twenty five, the Hall
- 1:21:15Speaker 8: of Fame. I got to check see how Reed is
- 1:21:17Speaker 8: doing over there at Chambly High School. He's the offensive coordinator.
- 1:21:22Speaker 8: He's forty seven. The Hall of Famer. Sidney Sweeney, who
- 1:21:27Speaker 8: is a very popular young lady. I still haven't seen
- 1:21:30Speaker 8: really anything she's in other than being popular like the Kardashians.
- 1:21:35Speaker 8: But she's an actress, that's what they say, but I
- 1:21:37Speaker 8: haven't actually, I guess got it. She's been in some stuff. Well,
- 1:21:41Speaker 8: she was on Euphoria, but I only watched the first
- 1:21:45Speaker 8: episode when the daddy took the neighbor's son. I had
- 1:21:47Speaker 8: to other than that, she has not made a film
- 1:21:52Speaker 8: worth seeing.
- 1:21:54Speaker 7: Once upon a Time in Hollywood and His Handmade's Tale
- 1:21:58Speaker 7: Once a Turn of Time.
- 1:21:59Speaker 8: I saw that movie. Yeah, that was Brad Pitt. Good movie.
- 1:22:04Speaker 8: I have no idea who she's writing. Yeah, a mo oh.
- 1:22:08Speaker 7: I think she played one of the Manson family as
- 1:22:12Speaker 7: I think about her, Yeah, she might have been the
- 1:22:13Speaker 7: one got her nose broke.
- 1:22:15Speaker 8: Drew Ski too Funny is thirty one years old. Emmy
- 1:22:21Speaker 8: Rosson is thirty nine. She was What's the show I
- 1:22:25Speaker 8: used to live with? Shameless? Shameless? Great show, Shameless? Who
- 1:22:29Speaker 8: else we have here? Jennifer Hudson forty four? Two Chains
- 1:22:33Speaker 8: is forty eight, Freddie Freeman The Dodgers is thirty six?
- 1:22:37Speaker 8: Y'all mean for the eighth time? Is forty five?
- 1:22:42Speaker 7: Prop bet? Greg looking prop bet? It's forty five. That's
- 1:22:50Speaker 7: a prop bet. Now, that's a prop bet. He might
- 1:22:52Speaker 7: be two or three years always when he came to
- 1:22:55Speaker 7: the league. They said he was twenty two, so it
- 1:22:58Speaker 7: might be right, but this whole time, they've been lying
- 1:23:02Speaker 7: the whole time. My man, the first, one of the
- 1:23:05Speaker 7: first bad boys of his generation, Vernon Maxwell. Y'all forgot
- 1:23:09Speaker 7: old Vernon Max, Mad Max, Mad Max sixty years old.
- 1:23:13Speaker 7: Just think of Steve or Jackson, an older version of
- 1:23:16Speaker 7: Stephen Jackson that was mad Max. Nobody paid attention because
- 1:23:21Speaker 7: his name was Vernon and that doesn't sound dangerous to
- 1:23:25Speaker 7: call him Mad Max.
- 1:23:27Speaker 9: He's been on a couple of podcasts here lately and
- 1:23:29Speaker 9: he's been telling some of the stories why he did
- 1:23:32Speaker 9: certain things. It's hilarious. You just if you ever get
- 1:23:36Speaker 9: a chance to hear some of his stories, you see
- 1:23:39Speaker 9: why he was gone sixty years old. And that's something.
- 1:23:42Speaker 8: Maybe next year we'll talk about this whole idea of
- 1:23:47Speaker 8: needing to talk about this stuff. Why Michael Irvin and
- 1:23:52Speaker 8: the White House, Mike Tyson, somebody doing fit on and
- 1:23:57Speaker 8: what is with us and us our need?
- 1:24:01Speaker 9: Well, I think, but it's funny to hear man what
- 1:24:04Speaker 9: I think it is a keem Elijah Wan slapped.
- 1:24:07Speaker 7: Is there used to be a time that your private
- 1:24:09Speaker 7: life was considered private, and now people will buy it
- 1:24:15Speaker 7: as content and entertainment. Me peeking inside your life and
- 1:24:20Speaker 7: seeing how dysfunctional you couldn't be is supposed to be entertainment.
- 1:24:26Speaker 7: So I'll make some money off telling you that time.
- 1:24:29Speaker 7: That about the time me and you snuck in someplace
- 1:24:32Speaker 7: that we were never supposed to be and did some
- 1:24:34Speaker 7: stuff that we wasn't supposed to be doing while we
- 1:24:36Speaker 7: were in there.
- 1:24:37Speaker 8: Rubens stuttered forty seven, Andrew Luck thirty six, Kroy Bierman
- 1:24:42Speaker 8: is forty, Jimmy Howan Junior is twenty three, Bernie Williams
- 1:24:47Speaker 8: of the Yankees fifty seven, Lexi Hall of Indiana Fever.
- 1:24:51Speaker 8: It's twenty six. Darren Waller, who's back into the NFL
- 1:24:56Speaker 8: with the Dolphins, thirty three.
- 1:24:58Speaker 7: Yana van Zan. I can't see how she said about Zonked,
- 1:25:04Speaker 7: You know how she talks, Yeah, but love it. It's
- 1:25:07Speaker 7: seventy two.
- 1:25:09Speaker 8: Be on an Apple, the rock Star forty eight, snow
- 1:25:12Speaker 8: alegra Is thirty eight, is Swiss Beat forty seven, Jeans Smart,
- 1:25:20Speaker 8: Great Actress is seventy four, Playboy Cardi is thirty and
- 1:25:25Speaker 8: the Great Tyler Perry is fifty six years of age.
- 1:25:30Speaker 8: Mc kenny even though you got here a little late
- 1:25:32Speaker 8: on your on your marathon run. What you got for me?
- 1:25:38Speaker 8: Don't have to go with jay Hood? Clonk, clonk, jay Hood?
- 1:25:43Speaker 8: Is she for Chicago? She for Chicago?
- 1:25:46Speaker 7: She got you know, she got just enough profile where
- 1:25:49Speaker 7: she respectable enough we can go important be as a
- 1:25:52Speaker 7: TV show right, Yeah, she got still Yeah I've never
- 1:25:58Speaker 7: seen it, but it's still on me. Need people in
- 1:26:03Speaker 7: our family badly watch it. But it's all I mean,
- 1:26:06Speaker 7: you know, That's what I'm saying. She respectable enough that
- 1:26:08Speaker 7: we could both get into the important places. But she
- 1:26:11Speaker 7: might write a song about you at the end, though
- 1:26:13Speaker 7: I'm sure she will. It's gonna be a breakup song too,
- 1:26:17Speaker 7: one of them. You gonna love me, I am telling you.
- 1:26:22Speaker 7: We'll be back with more of the Sports Show right

- 1:28:56Speaker 16: Some days.
- 1:28:57Speaker 7: Yes.
- 1:29:00Speaker 8: Welcome back to this spot Shock Show. I'm the Sportshock
- 1:29:03Speaker 8: I'm Wayne Candy. Good morning to you out there listening
- 1:29:06Speaker 8: on Land Commander's Green Bay tonight. In the case down
- 1:29:12Speaker 8: at Florida State Ethan Pritchard, they have arrested for people
- 1:29:18Speaker 8: in connection with that shooting. He was shot in the
- 1:29:22Speaker 8: back of the head while dropping off some family members.
- 1:29:27Speaker 8: The young freshman out of Sanford, Florida, which is close
- 1:29:32Speaker 8: to my hometown is Sandford, shot August thirty one while
- 1:29:38Speaker 8: inside a vehicle outside of his month's apartment building. You
- 1:29:45Speaker 8: might have saw some of the Florida State players last
- 1:29:48Speaker 8: week come out with his jersey and really honored. He's
- 1:29:53Speaker 8: in critical but stable position, so they're still working it out.
- 1:30:00Speaker 8: They have right now arrested for people in that situation
- 1:30:06Speaker 8: of that young man in law enforcement. Florida Department of
- 1:30:09Speaker 8: Law Enforcement says, for right now they can't put anything
- 1:30:16Speaker 8: at Ethan Pritchard's feet. As far as him doing something wrong,
- 1:30:20Speaker 8: they don't have a connection to he was there for
- 1:30:24Speaker 8: some kind of criminal activity or he had been doing
- 1:30:27Speaker 8: something so and there looks this report says wrong place,
- 1:30:34Speaker 8: wrong time. Yeah, it seems that maybe they could have
- 1:30:37Speaker 8: missed thought he was someone else. I don't know. But
- 1:30:41Speaker 8: first and foremost, let's hope the young man survives this issue,
- 1:30:46Speaker 8: because it says he's still in critical but stable condition.
- 1:30:49Speaker 8: And it's been two weeks now, basically you think August
- 1:30:54Speaker 8: thirty first to now are they two weeks that he
- 1:30:56Speaker 8: has been in the ICU. So prayers to him and
- 1:31:01Speaker 8: his family. We talked about the gambling, We talked about
- 1:31:06Speaker 8: mac We talked about marijuana. Command you. Greg wants us
- 1:31:14Speaker 8: to talk about Andrew Neil Hopper. He's a vascular surgeon
- 1:31:19Speaker 8: over in England. He sent us to thirty two months
- 1:31:22Speaker 8: for insurance fraud in possession of a particular pornography story
- 1:31:33Speaker 8: that you sent me. Greg talked about him amputating his
- 1:31:36Speaker 8: own legs. Yes to how do you do that? I
- 1:31:44Speaker 8: wonder that you do it yourself? How do you?
- 1:31:49Speaker 10: From I read he sat in a tub of dry
- 1:31:52Speaker 10: ice or several hours to the point where he his
- 1:32:02Speaker 10: legs were damaged enough where he had to get they
- 1:32:05Speaker 10: had to be amputated, so he caused the need to
- 1:32:08Speaker 10: be amputated. Yes, okay, okay, okay, because when I kept
- 1:32:12Speaker 10: when I first read it, I was like, I don't
- 1:32:14Speaker 10: know that you can stay up?
- 1:32:17Speaker 8: And he did that for what reason?
- 1:32:19Speaker 10: It's as insurance frauds is well, yeah, to get the
- 1:32:23Speaker 10: insurance money and to satisfy this fetish basically as an
- 1:32:30Speaker 10: amputation fetish.
- 1:32:34Speaker 8: Which I unfortunately have known someone like that, known someone
- 1:32:42Speaker 8: like that. Did you hear me part when I said unfortunately.
- 1:32:45Speaker 7: Yea, and I didn't even have it because we all
- 1:32:48Speaker 7: got an amputation fetish on my right now.
- 1:32:50Speaker 8: I didn't even do that.
- 1:32:53Speaker 7: And yeah, you know what I'm saying, like the insurance money,
- 1:32:59Speaker 7: how does how does that play into things like there
- 1:33:03Speaker 7: was no evidence that he did this to himself. How
- 1:33:07Speaker 7: was this insurance fraud supposed to play itself out? And see,
- 1:33:10Speaker 7: this is what we talk about when we talk about
- 1:33:12Speaker 7: personal freedoms.
- 1:33:15Speaker 8: The people be you know, you ought to be allowed
- 1:33:17Speaker 8: to live how you want to live. This is what
- 1:33:19Speaker 8: we get. This is what we get right here. Well,
- 1:33:21Speaker 8: I'm gonna cut my legs off. Yeah, but I'm saying
- 1:33:25Speaker 8: unfortunately they and they had to fire the guy for
- 1:33:31Speaker 8: he had some different magazine that were a little different.
- 1:33:38Speaker 8: Some kids found them and they had to let him
- 1:33:44Speaker 8: go for those reasons. And then I was shocked. Yeah,
- 1:33:49Speaker 8: it was probably I was about twenty five years ago,
- 1:33:51Speaker 8: and it was like what I didn't even know that
- 1:33:53Speaker 8: existed and didn't want to need, didn't need need. Yeah,
- 1:33:58Speaker 8: you know it's okay to be ignorant some stuff, know
- 1:34:02Speaker 8: how that works at all. I didn't have any curiosity
- 1:34:07Speaker 8: of learning anything about that. But that is thirty two months.
- 1:34:12Speaker 8: You think that's enough time. Well, I guess all they
- 1:34:15Speaker 8: could do is book him on insurance fraud. Yeah, it's
- 1:34:18Speaker 8: not like I can make up laws. He tried to
- 1:34:21Speaker 8: make it as if there was yeah he oh there
- 1:34:26Speaker 8: was something wrong and that would affect you know, him
- 1:34:29Speaker 8: being a surgeon. But they found out, oh, he did
- 1:34:32Speaker 8: this to himself. So basically find out that he did
- 1:34:35Speaker 8: it to himself as why he's that's why it's fraud. Wow,
- 1:34:39Speaker 8: takes all time.
- 1:34:41Speaker 7: See, and the people who want to smoke before the game,
- 1:34:44Speaker 7: this is who they turned to. Oh man, I'm just smoking,
- 1:34:48Speaker 7: I'm just trying. Yeah, I'm just trying to smoke a shoot.
- 1:34:51Speaker 7: It ain't like I'm happy dating nothing.
- 1:34:53Speaker 8: The Yankees are going to make a concerted effort to
- 1:34:58Speaker 8: censor any booing today. The president is supposedly now after yesterday,
- 1:35:05Speaker 8: and we'll talk about that. I supposed to go to
- 1:35:09Speaker 8: a Yankees game today, but they are going to because
- 1:35:14Speaker 8: they don't want any of what happening. And this would
- 1:35:18Speaker 8: just be on the broadcast team to making sure you
- 1:35:20Speaker 8: turn the mics down. You don't always have to have
- 1:35:22Speaker 8: the crowd noise. You can do now.
- 1:35:24Speaker 7: They requested that at the US Open as well. Yeah,
- 1:35:28Speaker 7: if there is any negative response, is that censorship? No, okay,
- 1:35:34Speaker 7: because I didn't tell you you couldn't boo.
- 1:35:37Speaker 8: You just we just we're just we're putting in. We're
- 1:35:40Speaker 8: being proactive enough to put in.
- 1:35:42Speaker 9: Does that make sure that make people don't feel disrespected
- 1:35:46Speaker 9: if they hear someone booing who's really heartfelt? Like sports,
- 1:35:50Speaker 9: I say, you have a friend that died and so
- 1:35:53Speaker 9: there there's someone that here's someone boo or something.
- 1:35:56Speaker 8: Then you know you're gonna take you like, oh, there
- 1:35:59Speaker 8: did be a dis respectful and no sense.
- 1:36:03Speaker 10: Whatever station it's on, probably the the YES Network or
- 1:36:09Speaker 10: if it's a nationally televised game, there will be people
- 1:36:12Speaker 10: who there won't be that kind of reaction from people
- 1:36:14Speaker 10: watching on TV. In the stadium, they can't do anything
- 1:36:17Speaker 10: about that.
- 1:36:18Speaker 8: That's that's the censorship. So I can't tell you not
- 1:36:21Speaker 8: to do whatever at the stadium, right, I just but
- 1:36:24Speaker 8: I can't make sure. I don't have to broadcast yet
- 1:36:28Speaker 8: last week calling the game, like we we were in
- 1:36:33Speaker 8: the booth, the booth, the windows wouldn't open, so me
- 1:36:38Speaker 8: and my partner Matt, we like to hear the crowd,
- 1:36:41Speaker 8: so we have to get command you Greg and his
- 1:36:44Speaker 8: team to let the crowd noise into our mind and
- 1:36:48Speaker 8: to our headphone so we can have a similance of
- 1:36:51Speaker 8: how the energy of the crowd is in stadiums where
- 1:36:55Speaker 8: the windows are like this and you can't hear anything outside.
- 1:36:59Speaker 8: So it's the same thing what's going on in the
- 1:37:01Speaker 8: stadium what you hear on your television feed. They're different feeds.
- 1:37:06Speaker 8: They control that. That's not censorship, Okay, they're controlling you
- 1:37:10Speaker 8: hearing curse words and everything else too. Yeah, but censorship
- 1:37:15Speaker 8: would be more of like them trying to ban something
- 1:37:17Speaker 8: out of stadium. I can't man if you boo you'll
- 1:37:21Speaker 8: be kicked out. Kicked out.
- 1:37:22Speaker 7: It's not that kind of thing, right, this part of
- 1:37:24Speaker 7: the fan experience. That's and and see, those are the
- 1:37:28Speaker 7: things that I reflect on. And and this is what
- 1:37:30Speaker 7: I often think is we like to set up rules
- 1:37:34Speaker 7: and regulations when they benefit us, and then we rarely
- 1:37:38Speaker 7: do we rarely have the foresight to look down the
- 1:37:41Speaker 7: road and see how it's going to affect us later.
- 1:37:44Speaker 7: And then again we want to do the over correction.
- 1:37:47Speaker 7: But you said I could speak freely and feel how
- 1:37:50Speaker 7: I feel and do what I want to do. And
- 1:37:52Speaker 7: now here we are where the rubber meets the road.
- 1:37:55Speaker 7: And that's too much, I.
- 1:38:00Speaker 8: Think, is because it's nine eleven and this day Americans
- 1:38:05Speaker 8: now since we don't actually have any kind of honor
- 1:38:10Speaker 8: or show any kind of empathy to where we would
- 1:38:15Speaker 8: recognize as nine eleven and on nine to eleven, everybody
- 1:38:19Speaker 8: used to be like truth and stuff.
- 1:38:22Speaker 7: Yes, it's truth, it's Christmas, Come on, get you though,
- 1:38:26Speaker 7: mark you No, no, no, now that's the day after Christmas.
- 1:38:29Speaker 7: We're gonna wait till about the third or four. Yeah,
- 1:38:33Speaker 7: you know there would be a stall me out kind
- 1:38:36Speaker 7: of feeling.
- 1:38:36Speaker 8: Yeah, that's just a cold It's like, you know, when
- 1:38:40Speaker 8: we've had stories about something happening at a funeral. Yeah,
- 1:38:44Speaker 8: these used to be unlike, oh no, no, no, we
- 1:38:47Speaker 8: all respect that around all that has gone out, and
- 1:38:52Speaker 8: it's saying with nine eleven of this measure probably won't
- 1:38:55Speaker 8: be in effect tomorrow, but on nine to eleven, I
- 1:38:59Speaker 8: can't have the presidency.
- 1:39:03Speaker 7: Boomed.
- 1:39:05Speaker 8: And the only reason I say the US opened, I
- 1:39:07Speaker 8: got something that's a national event. You don't want that
- 1:39:12Speaker 8: to be how it goes. So I like the measure.
- 1:39:16Speaker 8: I think enough. You know, too many times we can
- 1:39:20Speaker 8: spoil a moment that's supposed to be. I rather have
- 1:39:23Speaker 8: nothing than for you to put out any negative energy
- 1:39:27Speaker 8: right right, you had now.
- 1:39:29Speaker 7: I was just thinking that when I have these conversations
- 1:39:32Speaker 7: outside of the show, a lot of people take the
- 1:39:35Speaker 7: stance that if you dish it out, you need to
- 1:39:39Speaker 7: be willing to take it. They take the stance that
- 1:39:42Speaker 7: this administration has been very brash and divisive and all
- 1:39:46Speaker 7: of those things. And then when people have a chance
- 1:39:49Speaker 7: to voice their displeasure with excuse me, you want to
- 1:39:54Speaker 7: somehow temper that displeasure with requiring the network to not
- 1:40:01Speaker 7: broadcast the feed. Now, in situations where someone stands and
- 1:40:05Speaker 7: sings the national anthem. If they do a horrible job,
- 1:40:08Speaker 7: people in the stadium booth them, and that is well.
- 1:40:12Speaker 8: And that's why I say, you take those same people
- 1:40:14Speaker 8: and they decide that in those moments it's okay to
- 1:40:18Speaker 8: be disrespectful. But at the moment that you're having, you
- 1:40:21Speaker 8: would want those people to be silent and quiet or
- 1:40:26Speaker 8: respect whatever it is that you're holding. If you were
- 1:40:30Speaker 8: having a sad moment or having to put someone to rest,
- 1:40:34Speaker 8: or you was having a moment where you you would
- 1:40:37Speaker 8: like me to at least show you enough respect that
- 1:40:39Speaker 8: you would be silent. So this whole get back thing,
- 1:40:42Speaker 8: this revenge thing that America seems to be on, or
- 1:40:45Speaker 8: you know things where how are you any better when
- 1:40:51Speaker 8: doing what the other person does? Well, how are you
- 1:40:54Speaker 8: any better? I ask?
- 1:40:56Speaker 7: These people are monsters and then you go do a
- 1:40:59Speaker 7: monstrous act. Here you better because they're monsters. Well, they
- 1:41:02Speaker 7: did it, those people did it first. Then that's just
- 1:41:07Speaker 7: a deadly cycle. Then why shouldn't they get their revenge back?
- 1:41:10Speaker 7: And then back and then back. And that's just what
- 1:41:13Speaker 7: we say, that's what we call war. We'll be back
- 1:41:16Speaker 7: on a sports jock show, right after this.
- 1:41:19Speaker 8: God, why not Man, I'm coming for that number one, but.
- 1:41:24Speaker 21: Rappers wearing a yo come, I'm.
- 1:41:27Speaker 8: Coming funny number one fun.

- 1:41:37Speaker 25: Some people won't give you the real talk on drugs,
- 1:41:40Speaker 25: but it's time we know the facts. Fentanyl is killing people.
- 1:41:43Speaker 25: It's a powerful opioid, often made illegally and commonly mixed
- 1:41:47Speaker 25: with illicted drugs. It can even be pressed into counterfeit
- 1:41:50Speaker 25: pills that resemble prescription medications. Just two milligrams, about the
- 1:41:54Speaker 25: size of a few grains of sand, could potentially be lethal.
- 1:41:57Speaker 25: This isn't an ad to scare you, but it isn't
- 1:41:59Speaker 25: that to make you think twice. Get the facts. Go
- 1:42:03Speaker 25: to Real Deeal on fentanyl dot com. This message is

- 1:43:41Speaker 8: Welcome back to the Sports Shock Show. I'm the Sports
- 1:43:43Speaker 8: Shock Wayne Gan d s E. Mike McDonald, I mean,
- 1:43:47Speaker 8: excuse me, Mike McDaniel. Down for the Dolphins. You know,
- 1:43:51Speaker 8: Week two, A couple of little comments there about tour.
- 1:43:54Speaker 8: I try to tell y'all on Monday. I don't know
- 1:43:57Speaker 8: what we're gonna do about tour now, baby Ducer and
- 1:44:00Speaker 8: command you Greg. They faded out because they like to.
- 1:44:03Speaker 8: But I don't know. I don't I don't see what
- 1:44:07Speaker 8: I said. I don't see pro I see good college,
- 1:44:12Speaker 8: college Hall of Fame, maybe retired number at Alabama at
- 1:44:15Speaker 8: some point, But I don't see figure. I've never been
- 1:44:19Speaker 8: a tool. I mean, he hurt my dogs.
- 1:44:24Speaker 7: I mean, I'm just uh, Tyreek Hill possibly by the
- 1:44:29Speaker 7: trade deadline could be in another city, so that'll be something.
- 1:44:33Speaker 8: I even mentioned that it'd be a great time to
- 1:44:38Speaker 8: see what you can get. Get a couple of draft
- 1:44:40Speaker 8: picks for Tyreek Hill. I TUA can't get him the ball?
- 1:44:46Speaker 8: What is the Why pay a receiver that kind of
- 1:44:49Speaker 8: money and keep him there?
- 1:44:51Speaker 10: Is it more likely that they would find a trade
- 1:44:55Speaker 10: for him or that they'll just kind of I think
- 1:44:59Speaker 10: they would try to on a trade. Yeah, they got
- 1:45:01Speaker 10: to to try to find a trade Kansas City.
- 1:45:04Speaker 8: Kansas City would try to get him back if they can,
- 1:45:07Speaker 8: because they need something. And he read already knows the personality.
- 1:45:13Speaker 8: There's a word that maybe the stellers might see if
- 1:45:17Speaker 8: they can get him. At that point had to be
- 1:45:20Speaker 8: Facebook Marketplace. I can't really use it, but you've been
- 1:45:24Speaker 8: saying you won't one. But Facebook market Facebook Marketplace is horrible.
- 1:45:28Speaker 8: They get a good show you something look good to go.
- 1:45:30Speaker 8: See that sound like trades cheap. That's what I'm saying.
- 1:45:38Speaker 8: You want it. You want this thing and now used.
- 1:45:43Speaker 7: Somebody that really doesn't want this item would see a
- 1:45:46Speaker 7: used one of these as useless. You know that I
- 1:45:50Speaker 7: could benefit from having this treadmill they say they've owned.
- 1:45:54Speaker 8: It's only two years old. I'll give you some money
- 1:45:58Speaker 8: for it.
- 1:45:59Speaker 14: Now.
- 1:45:59Speaker 7: I'm not gonna pay you full price for the trademill,
- 1:46:01Speaker 7: but I'm gonna give you enough money to make you
- 1:46:05Speaker 7: feel like this deal was worth it. I'm gonna get
- 1:46:08Speaker 7: my use out of it.
- 1:46:09Speaker 8: You pay half an hour, pay half, and I'll take
- 1:46:11Speaker 8: my hands. So if you I'll pay him to twelve.
- 1:46:18Speaker 8: You pay him the eight, you can deliver it to
- 1:46:21Speaker 8: the house, round pick off of that, send them on over.
- 1:46:25Speaker 7: You say four fifty for the pair, and you'll drop
- 1:46:28Speaker 7: it off in the driveway.
- 1:46:29Speaker 8: Okay, we'll do that. Yeah, we'll do that. The NBA
- 1:46:33Speaker 8: coming up with an interesting because it's just some amazing
- 1:46:38Speaker 8: how the NBA mine works. But they have now instituted
- 1:46:43Speaker 8: that the last and this is what I want to
- 1:46:46Speaker 8: ask you, guys, the last second shot of quarters, so
- 1:46:51Speaker 8: you know how there's one point two seconds left and
- 1:46:55Speaker 8: bring the ball in and some guys will go forward
- 1:46:59Speaker 8: and some guys won't. Right now, they have instituted that
- 1:47:03Speaker 8: you can try that shot and not have to worry
- 1:47:08Speaker 8: about it going against your stats. Wait now, so some
- 1:47:13Speaker 8: guys were not taking the shot because it was going
- 1:47:17Speaker 8: to count as a miss. So when you look at
- 1:47:19Speaker 8: the end of the day, I was twelve of eighteen,
- 1:47:26Speaker 8: But see if I hadn't taken that shot out of
- 1:47:30Speaker 8: be twelve or seventeen. Right, So you're just gonna give
- 1:47:33Speaker 8: me a practice shot at the last if it's the
- 1:47:36Speaker 8: last quarter, last second of a.
- 1:47:39Speaker 7: Quarter, okay, the last second of a quarter, of the
- 1:47:42Speaker 7: first three excuse me first, the first three quarters okay,
- 1:47:46Speaker 7: because I was just about to say, so what if
- 1:47:48Speaker 7: it's the game winner in the last second, you want
- 1:47:51Speaker 7: that to count?
- 1:47:52Speaker 8: So that shot in those three quarters now will go
- 1:47:55Speaker 8: against the team. My thing is, but if I make
- 1:47:58Speaker 8: the shot, the score go on my stats. Do I
- 1:48:03Speaker 8: get the three points. Yeah, it's like, it doesn't go
- 1:48:08Speaker 8: on my stats. If I hit it, does the score change?
- 1:48:11Speaker 8: Yeses done right.
- 1:48:13Speaker 10: It's like the It's like in the game, if you
- 1:48:15Speaker 10: take a shot and you get fouled. If you miss,
- 1:48:18Speaker 10: it's not a field goal attempt, you get the free throws,
- 1:48:20Speaker 10: but it's not a field goal temp But if you
- 1:48:22Speaker 10: make it, you get the points. But I still don't
- 1:48:26Speaker 10: like it.
- 1:48:26Speaker 8: No, no, no, that's what I'm saying. So I can
- 1:48:28Speaker 8: take the shot to me, then whether I make it
- 1:48:32Speaker 8: or miss it goes to the team because you're on
- 1:48:37Speaker 8: that team and you're taking a So since you're saying
- 1:48:40Speaker 8: if I miss it it doesn't go against my status,
- 1:48:42Speaker 8: then if I make it, it shouldn't go for my
- 1:48:44Speaker 8: stats either. It should go that to the team status.
- 1:48:47Speaker 7: Listens, someone's going to be two points away, they make
- 1:48:54Speaker 7: a three from half court, but it doesn't count.
- 1:48:59Speaker 29: And just.
- 1:49:03Speaker 7: Yeah, it sounds ridiculous that you want some of it
- 1:49:06Speaker 7: to count but not all of it to count.
- 1:49:08Speaker 8: And where did that come from? Whose idea was that?
- 1:49:12Speaker 10: I thought it came from a lot of players who
- 1:49:15Speaker 10: if they have incentives in their contract about field goal percentage,
- 1:49:19Speaker 10: then they will and it's not even like they won't
- 1:49:23Speaker 10: take the shot. They'll take the shot clearly after the
- 1:49:26Speaker 10: buzzer sounded, just to just to make it seem Oh,
- 1:49:30Speaker 10: I didn't know.
- 1:49:30Speaker 8: I didn't have that much time.
- 1:49:32Speaker 10: But I think guys wanted to protect their field percentage,
- 1:49:35Speaker 10: and so there were shots that they won't take. And
- 1:49:38Speaker 10: a lot of people talked about error where the athletes
- 1:49:41Speaker 10: were getting taken advantage of by their agents because they
- 1:49:44Speaker 10: weren't wise enough to know all of the contract particulars.
- 1:49:48Speaker 7: And in this case, you kind of missed those days.
- 1:49:51Speaker 7: I mean, some dudes didn't know what a field goal
- 1:49:54Speaker 7: percentage was. I didn't know nothing about that. And then
- 1:49:57Speaker 7: some advertiser, some sponsor said, hey, man, listen, if you
- 1:50:02Speaker 7: get over sixty percent field goal percentage wearing my shoes,
- 1:50:05Speaker 7: I'll give you another million dollars in this year. And
- 1:50:08Speaker 7: you go hold on field goal percentage.
- 1:50:11Speaker 8: What's that? There was a player.
- 1:50:13Speaker 10: There's a player, Moe Harkless. He had a in his
- 1:50:17Speaker 10: contract if he shot thirty five percent from three he
- 1:50:20Speaker 10: would get half a million dollars extra. And then like
- 1:50:24Speaker 10: the last five games of the season, he's at thirty
- 1:50:27Speaker 10: five point one. He didn't shoot a single three pointer
- 1:50:30Speaker 10: those last five games to keep his percentage. And there
- 1:50:33Speaker 10: I think there are a lot of players who do
- 1:50:35Speaker 10: things like that to protect those stacks.
- 1:50:37Speaker 8: And now, so he can't get over that percentage. They
- 1:50:40Speaker 8: only want a certain.
- 1:50:41Speaker 7: Percent if he got if he shot thirty five percent, right,
- 1:50:45Speaker 7: he'd get the bonus.
- 1:50:46Speaker 8: Okay.
- 1:50:46Speaker 7: So he was at thirty five point one with five
- 1:50:50Speaker 7: games left in the season, and because thirty six percent,
- 1:50:52Speaker 7: you don't get the bonus. No, he would still get it.
- 1:50:55Speaker 7: It was thirty five and oh right, but the last
- 1:50:57Speaker 7: five games he didn't shoot any more threes because I
- 1:51:01Speaker 7: made my bonus. As he would, he would keep that
- 1:51:03Speaker 7: percentage the same, Oh repat with more the Sports Shock
- 1:51:07Speaker 7: Show work in the system right after this.
- 1:51:12Speaker 33: Just like that, just like that, how you ain't gonna
- 1:51:19Speaker 33: cut cut out me, present you and vip See.
- 1:51:27Speaker 12: More of the Sports Jot Show with Wayne Dan videos

- 1:52:14Speaker 32: cause of more than three thousand deaths in twenty twenty two.

- 1:53:08Speaker 8: bunch of se to night trying.
- 1:53:11Speaker 13: You don't know me like that.
- 1:53:14Speaker 4: You don't know me like that?
- 1:53:17Speaker 8: To this one shock shot? This what shock queen again?
- 1:53:20Speaker 8: D uh Thursday Night Football the Commanders one and oh

- 1:53:44Speaker 7: I was late and and I heard y'all discussing the
- 1:53:48Speaker 7: streaming services and all of that, and I wanted to
- 1:53:50Speaker 7: ask all of you, how much will a game cost
- 1:53:55Speaker 7: before you refuse to pay for it on TV?
- 1:54:00Speaker 28: Like?
- 1:54:00Speaker 7: When will you get to I ain't paying no extra
- 1:54:03Speaker 7: money for football? How much will it have to cost?
- 1:54:09Speaker 7: I guess if they started selling it all a cart
- 1:54:11Speaker 7: you mean? It's because I wonder is that far off?
- 1:54:16Speaker 32: Now?
- 1:54:16Speaker 7: I don't know if we all have ESPN, And there
- 1:54:19Speaker 7: was before September they started saying that the next phase,
- 1:54:24Speaker 7: the next generation of ESPN is coming. And now if
- 1:54:27Speaker 7: you look on ESPN streaming app, it used to be
- 1:54:30Speaker 7: ESPN and ESPN Plus. Now it's just ESPN get all
- 1:54:35Speaker 7: your sports in one place. But you click on the
- 1:54:39Speaker 7: game and they don't suggest other games. When that game
- 1:54:42Speaker 7: goes off, It doesn't switch to another game.
- 1:54:44Speaker 8: They give you the.
- 1:54:45Speaker 7: One game that you choose and let you watch that.
- 1:54:47Speaker 7: Then when that game ends, you go back to the
- 1:54:51Speaker 7: home screen and that's it. You're gonna have to find
- 1:54:54Speaker 7: something else and click onto that specifically for that view
- 1:54:59Speaker 7: to be counted. Some games aren't available in your area
- 1:55:03Speaker 7: without a package, so you're going to have to find
- 1:55:06Speaker 7: a package and pay for that and it. I remember
- 1:55:09Speaker 7: a time when people used to assert that they wouldn't
- 1:55:13Speaker 7: go on YouTube and watch a game. Oh man, if
- 1:55:16Speaker 7: they took it off of Monday night, I ain't watching
- 1:55:18Speaker 7: and now we watching Thursdays.
- 1:55:21Speaker 8: Well, you can still watch free games. You just have
- 1:55:24Speaker 8: to wait on the one or two that's on on
- 1:55:27Speaker 8: right so you don't have to Actually, you don't have
- 1:55:31Speaker 8: to buy the movie on TV. You can wait till
- 1:55:33Speaker 8: it comes on HBO or you just wait till five
- 1:55:37Speaker 8: six years that come on T and T for free.
- 1:55:40Speaker 8: It's based on how bad you want to see.
- 1:55:42Speaker 7: It, And I'm that's the question is how bad do
- 1:55:45Speaker 7: you want to see it? What is your max? Okay,
- 1:55:48Speaker 7: I ain't gonna pay that a month or do you
- 1:55:50Speaker 7: have that? Are you on some Hey, I'm gonna get
- 1:55:52Speaker 7: my football regardless. I think that a lot of people
- 1:55:55Speaker 7: would just maybe just the first step would be to
- 1:55:59Speaker 7: just decide, I like, I'll just have the ut whatever
- 1:56:04Speaker 7: comes with the YouTube package. I'll just pay that.
- 1:56:08Speaker 8: So that means I don't get to see the Thursday
- 1:56:12Speaker 8: night game, or I'll go up to a sports bar
- 1:56:15Speaker 8: and watch. You know, you might have to do something
- 1:56:18Speaker 8: like that. I want to see this game tonight, but
- 1:56:19Speaker 8: I don't want to buy the prime. I'll just go
- 1:56:22Speaker 8: down here to a sports bar. Most likely they're going
- 1:56:25Speaker 8: to have it, because that's what they're centered around. Well,
- 1:56:28Speaker 8: they're offering a ticket again on YouTube. I know you
- 1:56:32Speaker 8: last year you worried about trying to get it set up,
- 1:56:34Speaker 8: make sure it works. And I just seen them advertised
- 1:56:37Speaker 8: like it's normally forty seven something, but if you're a
- 1:56:41Speaker 8: new customer, you could get eight payments from thirty four.
- 1:56:44Speaker 9: If well, how can you treat an older customer who
- 1:56:50Speaker 9: is paying forty seven and get somebody else a different price?
- 1:56:53Speaker 7: You have to you have to well, eventually they'll that'll
- 1:56:56Speaker 7: that's the introductory price. El to rebate me deep, I mean,
- 1:57:01Speaker 7: all you do is turn off yours and then resign
- 1:57:05Speaker 7: up and then you get that price.
- 1:57:08Speaker 8: Oh that's the loophole.
- 1:57:10Speaker 7: Elder Casey said he was preaching in South Carolina this
- 1:57:13Speaker 7: past weekend and couldn't get the Georgia game. And that's
- 1:57:15Speaker 7: one state over. So you know, I think they're making it.
- 1:57:20Speaker 7: Uh but that wasn't but yeah, you but you were
- 1:57:24Speaker 7: in South Carolina and they don't. Yeah, they show that
- 1:57:29Speaker 7: they probably had it, but they were yeah to pay
- 1:57:32Speaker 7: if you want to see that here you're in a
- 1:57:34Speaker 7: different state, they're not going to show you.
- 1:57:38Speaker 8: That's yeah, if you're in the same state. Sure, but
- 1:57:41Speaker 8: I'm quite sure you could have got the South Carolina
- 1:57:44Speaker 8: game and in South Carolina or Clemson, but you can't
- 1:57:49Speaker 8: get the Georgia game in another state. In Babaduci. You
- 1:57:52Speaker 8: just need to uh call the people, tell them you
- 1:57:56Speaker 8: do not want that service anymore and then hang up
- 1:57:59Speaker 8: and then call back and get the new path. But
- 1:58:02Speaker 8: they got your I P and yeah, I know they
- 1:58:07Speaker 8: probably want to get from Yeah, they'll keep you from
- 1:58:09Speaker 8: leaving you a gift card and then lower.
- 1:58:12Speaker 9: Because that don't seem right to do something that seemed
- 1:58:15Speaker 9: illegal to call and cancel something and then to go
- 1:58:19Speaker 9: back to try to if I was already on.
- 1:58:21Speaker 8: What are you talking about? People do it all the time.
- 1:58:23Speaker 8: We'll see okay, people change their insurance every year.
- 1:58:29Speaker 7: I say to me, that's like, that's like you scamming
- 1:58:33Speaker 7: to me. Now I'm finding the better price. Yeah, it's
- 1:58:37Speaker 7: just like some stores used to cover. If you can
- 1:58:40Speaker 7: come here with the item that's cheaper. You can come
- 1:58:43Speaker 7: here with an item from another store, we'll match that price.
- 1:58:47Speaker 8: You don't do that no more? Though they got away
- 1:58:51Speaker 8: from the getting away from and are you against scamming?
- 1:58:53Speaker 8: Is that what I'm here? That you don't want to go?
- 1:58:55Speaker 8: For him?
- 1:58:56Speaker 9: I give him a legal I guess that, ain't you
- 1:59:00Speaker 9: that's a little speaks bad does that's a little suspect
- 1:59:04Speaker 9: that that sounded.
- 1:59:06Speaker 7: But let somebody but let me be selling fitanel at
- 1:59:10Speaker 7: the high school football game and he gonna come by.
- 1:59:13Speaker 8: He'll come by and see what that's about. Yeah, I
- 1:59:16Speaker 8: don't I don't get how he sees that as such.
- 1:59:18Speaker 9: A because you already signed up and then you're gonna
- 1:59:22Speaker 9: call say hey, I'm gonna quit. I don't want to
- 1:59:24Speaker 9: be with y'all, and then you call back if you
- 1:59:25Speaker 9: don't have to explain, I want.
- 1:59:27Speaker 7: To i'd like to cancel my service. Typically at that
- 1:59:33Speaker 7: moment they try to introduce you to the new service
- 1:59:35Speaker 7: and actually tell you we can get your rate down.
- 1:59:39Speaker 9: Because that's that's what I rather do that. I'd rather
- 1:59:42Speaker 9: go ahead argue with him and try to get my
- 1:59:44Speaker 9: rate than the counsel is. I don't argue, but I
- 1:59:47Speaker 9: don't want to don't even have to argue, but I
- 1:59:49Speaker 9: don't want to care.
- 1:59:49Speaker 8: I feel like you and say you're gonna leave, and
- 1:59:53Speaker 8: they're trying to wait to leep you.
- 1:59:55Speaker 7: That's how I negotiated my last divorce. Look, i'd like
- 1:59:58Speaker 7: to cancel this service. Just sign up on the different
- 2:00:03Speaker 7: price point. Please, this is this is getting too expensive
- 2:00:07Speaker 7: for me. Ain't too much explanation after that, sir.
- 2:00:11Speaker 8: And we are in no ocean.
- 2:00:15Speaker 26: The truth is he will throw your in the ocean.
- 2:00:19Speaker 26: It's time to wrap things up on the Sports.

- 2:01:08Speaker 8: Greg Big Kenny Bad producer, thank you for your contribution.
- 2:01:11Speaker 8: If you missed any of today's show, you know the
- 2:01:13Speaker 8: Apple podcasts, Amazon podcast, Audible, Deezer, iHeartRadio, or Spotify and
- 2:01:21Speaker 8: catch the replay of the show. It is September eleventh,
- 2:01:27Speaker 8: and twenty four years ago. We had a national tragedy
- 2:01:32Speaker 8: in Over the last couple of weeks, a couple of months,
- 2:01:35Speaker 8: we've had what seems to be a new America or
- 2:01:41Speaker 8: just the old America reinventing itself in the fashion of violence.
- 2:01:47Speaker 8: We shoot up churches and kill kids and elderly people
- 2:01:51Speaker 8: in Minnesota. We school shoot out in Colorado again, we
- 2:01:58Speaker 8: stab people on trains that have nothing to do with us.
- 2:02:04Speaker 8: We shoot, we shoot, and then yesterday we killed a
- 2:02:09Speaker 8: thirty one year old man, Charlie Kirk. I mean, it
- 2:02:14Speaker 8: really just puts America in focus. For some reason, we
- 2:02:18Speaker 8: think we deserve a better world without being better people.
- 2:02:28Speaker 8: From what I know of life, that's not really how
- 2:02:32Speaker 8: it works. To get a better world, we have to
- 2:02:36Speaker 8: be a better person, a better human being towards others.
- 2:02:42Speaker 8: And to watch what America just falls into the circle
- 2:02:46Speaker 8: of violence. That tragedy and these moments are daily, not weekly,
- 2:02:52Speaker 8: not monthly, daily just to see and to watch you
- 2:02:58Speaker 8: murder a man later man really pictured picture paints a
- 2:03:04Speaker 8: picture for the new America. So no ocean, and I
- 2:03:12Speaker 8: would ask you to change, but I know you won't,
- 2:03:18Speaker 8: so all I can do is pray. From the Sports
- 2:03:23Speaker 8: Shop show, we hope you have a great nine to eleven,
- 2:03:28Speaker 8: a great weekend, and as we always say on Thursday,
- 2:03:32Speaker 8: we'll see you in the future. Peace,
