Teen Charged in Bridge Stabbing | Providence News
A 19-year-old man is charged with murder after allegedly stabbing a 40-year-old man who stepped in to stop a fight on Providence’s pedestrian bridge. The victim, Gerald Blair, had no prior connection to the suspect, Joseph Laroche, who was identified via surveillance footage and arrested quickly. This is the city’s fourth homicide this year, and authorities are still searching for other youths present at the scene.
