- 0:26Dayna Roselli: And how you can see the legendary divas on stage for a good price, as Legends and Concert celebrates its 40th anniversary.
- 0:34Sean McAllister: It's all coming up this week on Vegas Revealed.
- 0:37Dayna Roselli: Let's spin that wheel.
- 0:46Sean McAllister: Welcome to episode 175 of Vegas.
- 0:49Sean McAllister: Revealed Sean McAllister here, along with Dayna Roselli and Dayna, it's good to have you back in.
- 0:53Dayna Roselli: Vegas.
- 0:54Dayna Roselli: I know I was gone for a little more than a week.
- 0:56Dayna Roselli: You know we were saying it seems like a long time but then you always think about it.
- 0:59Dayna Roselli: Well, it really flew fast.
- 1:00Dayna Roselli: But anyway, i was in upstate New York visiting the family I know people have heard me talk about it many, many times before from the area of Rochester.
- 1:07Dayna Roselli: New York had a blast, sean.
- 1:09Dayna Roselli: It was a lot of like backyard parties and good music and drinks and snacks and food and get together with like family and friends and we even had a little 30th reunion.
- 1:21Dayna Roselli: It's been 30 years since I graduated high school.
- 1:24Sean McAllister: And you had the gang back together Gang back together.
- 1:28Dayna Roselli: It was a good time, but something that I felt like I was shocked about.
- 1:34Dayna Roselli: I don't know why.
- 1:34Dayna Roselli: Shocked might be like a big word, but I felt like a lot of times in conversations because I went to a lot of parties like graduation parties and stuff people would stop me and talk about the Vegas Golden Knights and the Stanley Cup.
- 1:45Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and I was shocked because everyone was like I followed it.
- 1:49Dayna Roselli: I don't usually watch the whole Stanley Cup playoffs, but I was into it this year And I loved that.
- 1:54Dayna Roselli: Everyone was asking me questions and they're like oh, they took Eichel from the Sabres and you guys got them and then you guys won the cup.
- 2:00Dayna Roselli: So I mean it was some great conversations with people definitely watching the games and saying good for you guys And so many people saying like it's really like the story is like a movie.
- 2:13Sean McAllister: Oh, it absolutely is.
- 2:14Sean McAllister: And you know, western New York is hockey country.
- 2:17Sean McAllister: I know our high schools had hockey teams, colleges had hockey teams And I think, having that Jack Eichel connection, people followed him when he played for the Sabres and then when he came out here to play for the Knights and you know, having his first round at the, his first go around at the Stanley Cup and winning, which was great for him, i know.
- 2:41Dayna Roselli: Yeah, it was, it was fun and I loved having like being so knowledgeable about it.
- 2:43Dayna Roselli: I was like, oh, i was there and I was telling him what it was like and yeah, so it was a good time, i loved it.
- 2:48Dayna Roselli: You know, one thing I also noticed, sean, was that you don't realize until you leave Las Vegas.
- 2:53Dayna Roselli: There are some places in some cities you go where things are still expensive.
- 2:57Dayna Roselli: If you go to a big city, right, like you go London, you go New York City, you go LA, right, but like Rochester, we went out to dinner a couple nights and had some drinks, actually put a picture on Twitter saying guess how much this cost, but I guess I really felt the significance of how much cheaper it is for things in Rochester.
- 3:17Dayna Roselli: I was telling you like I went to dinner with three people.
- 3:20Dayna Roselli: We all had a meal.
- 3:22Dayna Roselli: I had two martinis with Tito's, my mom had a Tito martini, my dad had a glass, big glass of Merlot and the bill was like 90 bucks And I was like what?
- 3:34Sean McAllister: That's almost the same amount that it cost for my husband, shane, and I to get two cocktails at a show down on the strip recently.
- 3:44Dayna Roselli: Isn't that insane.
- 3:45Sean McAllister: It's.
- 3:45Sean McAllister: It is getting to be a lot.
- 3:49Dayna Roselli: You and I were just having that conversation and people that I was chatting with like I'd love to come to Vegas, but boy, it is so pricey.
- 3:55Dayna Roselli: lately It's getting a little out of control.
- 3:58Dayna Roselli: You and I had mentioned in podcast 172 that we had been hearing that some of the attractions were pulling in less people weren't taking in as much money.
- 4:07Dayna Roselli: We had our theories on why.
- 4:09Dayna Roselli: but now some gaming numbers not visitor numbers, but gaming numbers came in for May And gaming for May was significantly lower than the year before 2022.
- 4:21Sean McAllister: And that's when we were setting all the records for gaming and visitation.
- 4:25Sean McAllister: Now we have not received as of our record time, we have not received yet the visitation numbers, but I have a feeling that the visitation numbers are going to correlate with the decrease in gaming revenue that we saw here in Las Vegas.
- 4:45Sean McAllister: So that remains to be seen again as of our record time.
- 4:51Sean McAllister: But you know our observations, our conversations, turned out to be correct.
- 4:58Dayna Roselli: Yeah, it looked like I think it was we were looking at.
- 5:01Dayna Roselli: Downtown took the biggest decrease Right, biggest percentage difference.
- 5:05Dayna Roselli: Anyway, i mean it?
- 5:06Dayna Roselli: wasn't massive, massive and I did see some comments under some some posts on Twitter, people saying, well, it was expecting because it was such a record year, but in and maybe, but still they're down.
- 5:15Dayna Roselli: The numbers are down.
- 5:16Sean McAllister: They are, and you know I I don't know if higher prices has anything to do with that.
- 5:22Sean McAllister: Maybe you know the, the willingness to spend is being reigned in a little bit, who knows?
- 5:30Sean McAllister: but the gaming numbers were down, yes.
- 5:33Dayna Roselli: And you know what else is down The ticket price to go see Awakening at the Win.
- 5:37Dayna Roselli: Yeah, Awakening took a little hiatus, revamped some things.
- 5:40Dayna Roselli: It wasn't hitting quite right over there at the Win It was.
- 5:43Dayna Roselli: it's a huge investment.
- 5:44Dayna Roselli: They wanted to get it right.
- 5:45Dayna Roselli: So now it's reopened with new visuals, new choreography and also ticket prices that start at $99 now.
- 5:54Sean McAllister: Yeah, we are going to head over to Win and see the show the new version of Awakening and maybe talk to the creative minds behind it.
- 6:06Sean McAllister: Once we do see that show and see what the changes are all about, i'm excited.
- 6:12Sean McAllister: I'm excited to see what the changes are because that show did just have so much potential.
- 6:19Sean McAllister: It is like we said before it is visually stunning.
- 6:24Sean McAllister: I mean the amount of production that they put into that show, the creative minds behind it.
- 6:30Sean McAllister: they certainly have the street cred to do a spectacular show like that.
- 6:36Sean McAllister: So it will be good to see what has changed.
- 6:40Dayna Roselli: You know we're going to go check it out, like Sean said, but hopefully even tickets starting at $99 will get more people in the theater.
- 6:46Dayna Roselli: Shows are Monday and Sunday at 7 pm, tuesday and Friday and Saturday at 7 pm and 9 30 pm.
- 6:55Dayna Roselli: So we'll do two shows on those days over at the Awakening Theater at the Win.
- 7:01Sean McAllister: At another theater down at that end of the strip or up at that end of the strip over at Resorts World.
- 7:06Sean McAllister: David Blaine.
- 7:07Sean McAllister: He ended up pulling out of his last couple scheduled shows over at Resorts World and they were the last shows that he had on the books over there.
- 7:18Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and I mean it's sad to hear that because we love David Blaine show.
- 7:21Dayna Roselli: We also know some others that have gone and said you know what really blew my mind?
- 7:24Dayna Roselli: I liked how different it was.
- 7:26Dayna Roselli: There are others that said oh, I'm surprised, I'm not sure if it will last, if this can keep going, because it is such kind of an impromptu type show.
- 7:34Dayna Roselli: But anyway, we don't know what happened.
- 7:36Dayna Roselli: I know David hurt his shoulder in one of the stunts and then he took that stunt out of the show that he did following that.
- 7:42Dayna Roselli: So I'm not sure if that had any effect on anything.
- 7:45Dayna Roselli: Maybe he needs to get into a smaller venue.
- 7:47Dayna Roselli: I'm not sure.
- 7:48Dayna Roselli: We don't know, But sad to see David go.
- 7:51Dayna Roselli: But then they just announced that well, I guess we're getting a tour stop right For Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, Which will be good.
- 8:00Sean McAllister: Yeah, they've been doing this.
- 8:01Sean McAllister: You know duo show.
- 8:04Sean McAllister: This is their touring comedy show called The Restless Leg Tour, which I think is funny.
- 8:10Sean McAllister: Both Amy and Tina are hilarious.
- 8:15Sean McAllister: I can't wait to go and see them.
- 8:18Sean McAllister: I'm definitely getting tickets for this one.
- 8:21Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and they have two shows that they're doing right November 10th and November 11th, So you've got some time to plan for that, but should be really good.
- 8:28Dayna Roselli: So they will be coming to Resorts World Theater And, as we mentioned, David Blaine.
- 8:33Dayna Roselli: No further shows on the schedule.
- 8:34Sean McAllister: Yeah, let's talk Liberace, shall we?
- 8:37Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 8:38Dayna Roselli: So I was gone and you said, hey, i'm going to go over and check out the new Liberace spot.
- 8:42Dayna Roselli: And I said what?
- 8:43Dayna Roselli: How have I not heard about this?
- 8:44Dayna Roselli: I've been out of the loop, but what is this about?
- 8:47Sean McAllister: OK, so here's the deal.
- 8:48Sean McAllister: Liberace is kind of having a moment in Las Vegas right now, after, i mean, there have been it's been a while where I feel like Liberace hasn't had had the credit given to him that he is due, especially for the part that he played in Las Vegas for so long.
- 9:05Sean McAllister: Recently, a street was named in Liberace's honor.
- 9:09Sean McAllister: That's something close to you, right, yeah.
- 9:13Dayna Roselli: Right down the road for me And I know when I saw that piece on Boy George, the behind the music, he did it his interviews inside one of the Liberace venues and Thriller Villa.
- 9:22Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and he talked about how Liberace was a huge part of you know his style of music and a huge influence on him, and how he really hasn't gotten a lot of credit.
- 9:32Dayna Roselli: And then he, i think he came out with a new song with Liberace's name in it, and so all these things are like maybe, maybe pushing everyone to go hey, what about Liberace?
- 9:40Sean McAllister: Yeah, I feel like he is definitely having a pop culture moment, which I do love to see.
- 9:45Sean McAllister: So the street was named in Liberace's honor.
- 9:48Sean McAllister: There is a new exhibit at the Nevada State Museum, which is a great museum If you have the chance to go and check it out, And a lot of his costumes that have never been seen publicly before are on display over there.
- 10:04Sean McAllister: But then, on top of that, Liberace's restaurant Tivoli Gardens is back open with a new operator in there.
- 10:13Dayna Roselli: OK, I love that.
- 10:14Sean McAllister: So, listen, when I went over there, i met up with the chairman of the Liberace Foundation, jonathan Warren, and as soon as I stepped in I was like, oh my God, this has Liberace's touch all over it, and instead of me explaining the history, i'm going to let Jonathan do it.
- 10:33Jonathan Warren: This is in the shopping center that was owned by Liberace for many years.
- 10:36Jonathan Warren: It's where he opened the Liberace Museum in 1978.
- 10:39Jonathan Warren: He built this place was really his last hurrah.
- 10:42Jonathan Warren: It was a passion project.
- 10:43Jonathan Warren: It was really done when he was ill, when he knew he was ill, and it was something he did to gather his friends.
- 10:52Jonathan Warren: He always was a foodie.
- 10:53Jonathan Warren: He always was a cook.
- 10:54Jonathan Warren: He wrote a cookbook.
- 10:56Jonathan Warren: He cooked on television, even cooked on Letterman, you know, candelabra on the oven and the whole bit.
- 11:01Jonathan Warren: So this was a natural extension of that.
- 11:04Jonathan Warren: So when he does it it's really a passion project and a lot of locals remember it.
- 11:09Jonathan Warren: It is as it was then, after he had come back from his last international tour.
- 11:16Jonathan Warren: On that tour it's the first time he went in Europe to non-English speaking countries, and he toured Germany and Copenhagen And he wound up playing Tivoli Garden amusement park in Copenhagen, which is, i think, the third oldest amusement park in the world that's operating.
- 11:33Jonathan Warren: It's a beautiful place.
- 11:35Jonathan Warren: It's the place Walt Disney was inspired to build Disneyland And so he came back from that very inspired and he made his restaurant and called it Liberace's Tivoli Gardens, and it was international cuisine.
- 11:48Jonathan Warren: He called it an amalgamation of all the places he loved to eat around the world.
- 11:55Sean McAllister: And you can tell that Liberace's touch is on this place.
- 11:58Jonathan Warren: Yeah, it's amazing because it's a lot more than just his touch.
- 12:02Jonathan Warren: It's the place that he built And it's astounding that it's still here.
- 12:07Jonathan Warren: Like you say, the bones It's a lot more than the bones.
- 12:10Jonathan Warren: We're sitting in the English bar and people may remember this.
- 12:13Jonathan Warren: This was built by a company in Carson, california, that was the preeminent woodworking artisans in the world when they did this.
- 12:25Jonathan Warren: No place else in Vegas is made by this company And it was enormously expensive to have this done.
- 12:33Jonathan Warren: And it's still intact.
- 12:36Jonathan Warren: It had suffered minor damage when the new owner of the restaurant, sokbe Melling, had taken over the space And he restored it beautifully to exactly how it was.
- 12:49Jonathan Warren: And next to us also is the Liberace Piano Bar, which long time locals will remember.
- 12:54Jonathan Warren: It's an entirely mirrored room with a giant piano as a bar, and it's all mirrored completely.
- 13:00Jonathan Warren: It's artisan work by John Hancock, the glazer of Liberace, who did his cars and his houses and his pianos Well.
- 13:09Jonathan Warren: He did this bar too.
- 13:10Jonathan Warren: It still has the lyrics and music around the crown of the room, that is to I'll Be Seeing You, which is what Liberace ended every show with.
- 13:21Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 13:21Sean McAllister: So right now Tivoli Gardens is open as a.
- 13:25Sean McAllister: You can go in and get vegan tacos is what they're doing now.
- 13:29Sean McAllister: Down the line, they plan on bringing back the original international cuisine menu that Liberace had over there and put a vegan twist on it.
- 13:42Sean McAllister: Okay, something kind of old made new again with that kind of twist, which I think is cool.
- 13:47Dayna Roselli: It is.
- 13:48Dayna Roselli: It sounds amazing.
- 13:50Dayna Roselli: My mother texts me after we did our segment on K-Cal News.
- 13:53Dayna Roselli: We do a segment in Los Angeles.
- 13:55Dayna Roselli: If people don't know that, you can watch us on K-Cal every other Thursday morning And we talked about this and there was video to compliment it that you got when you were over there.
- 14:03Dayna Roselli: And immediately my mother texts me when I come to town next I want to go to Liberace's restaurant.
- 14:07Dayna Roselli: So you know you definitely have already sold one person on it.
- 14:11Sean McAllister: Perfect And let me tell you it really is like out of his era.
- 14:16Sean McAllister: They have done a great job restoring it to its opulence.
- 14:20Sean McAllister: I'll say you know there's a fountain when you walk in the floors the wrought iron decor that's in there.
- 14:30Sean McAllister: It really is.
- 14:31Sean McAllister: It really is cool in a piece of Las Vegas history that's now being preserved and celebrated like it should.
- 14:37Dayna Roselli: Yeah, that reminds me I got to watch that Liberace movie.
- 14:40Sean McAllister: That was so good.
- 14:41Dayna Roselli: You never saw it I think I did, but like I was when I worked the morning shift, i think I went to the movie at the theater and I remember I fell asleep because I was so tired and I never revisited it, but I know I wanted to watch it.
- 14:55Sean McAllister: Oh my god, it is so good Behind the candelabra.
- 14:57Dayna Roselli: Yeah, I believe it's on HBO.
- 14:59Dayna Roselli: Oh, hbo, right, Maybe it was at a friend's house.
- 15:02Dayna Roselli: It had like a theater or something, i can't remember.
- 15:04Dayna Roselli: We did something for it and I remember I just couldn't make it.
- 15:07Dayna Roselli: That was when I was getting up at 2 am for work, so it's so good Anyway yeah, all right, so I need to see that too.
- 15:13Dayna Roselli: Yeah, so you did get over to Carrie Underwood We want to briefly mention this just because we've done a couple podcasts about it and you finally saw the new show.
- 15:21Dayna Roselli: It's the same show but new things in it, right?
- 15:23Sean McAllister: Yeah, she did add one number from Denim and Rhinestones, her latest album.
- 15:29Sean McAllister: That's the title track off that album She added into the show and first of all, overall the show is it's great It looks great.
- 15:38Sean McAllister: I feel like Carrie is like the country Celine Dion She brings that kind of vibe to the stage.
- 15:44Sean McAllister: But this Denim and Rhinestones number her fans are going crazy for it on social media.
- 15:51Dayna Roselli: Okay, it's like a line dance.
- 15:53Sean McAllister: It's a line dance that they there's a line dance during the music break in the song and people online are just like, oh my gosh, we have to make this into a TikTok thing.
- 16:04Sean McAllister: This is so great.
- 16:06Dayna Roselli: She's smart.
- 16:06Dayna Roselli: Anything that gets made into a TikTok goes crazy.
- 16:09Sean McAllister: It is, and so that was super fun.
- 16:12Sean McAllister: I've been noticing that her wardrobe has been changing quite a bit from show to show.
- 16:18Sean McAllister: There are a couple numbers where the outfits stay relatively the same, but she is changing it up, which I think does make that more exciting for people who are going to see, because the outfits are part of the production.
- 16:34Dayna Roselli: It's part of a Vegas show.
- 16:35Dayna Roselli: You change the outfit.
- 16:37Dayna Roselli: We love it.
- 16:38Dayna Roselli: So all right.
- 16:39Dayna Roselli: glad to hear that your videos looked amazing.
- 16:41Dayna Roselli: If you want to see Sean's videos, they're on our Vegas Revealed Instagram and also on our TikTok.
- 16:47Dayna Roselli: If you want to take a look at behind the scenes or in front of, I should say, Carrie Underwood show over at Resorts World, We are going to see the MJ1 show.
- 16:55Dayna Roselli: Michael Jackson won Cirque du Soleil show at Mandalay Bay tonight.
- 17:00Dayna Roselli: We're recording this on a Thursday, So we are excited.
- 17:03Dayna Roselli: It's the 10 year anniversary.
- 17:05Dayna Roselli: I can't believe it.
- 17:05Dayna Roselli: I was at opening night.
- 17:07Sean McAllister: I know the Jackson family was there.
- 17:09Sean McAllister: That was a big party.
- 17:11Dayna Roselli: That was a big deal man Yeah they had a pool party, like in the back, i remember after and stuff like that.
- 17:17Dayna Roselli: It was amazing, you know, and I went one other time in between, but I have not been in years and years and years.
- 17:21Dayna Roselli: I know it was one of my favorite Cirque du Soleil shows.
- 17:24Dayna Roselli: I love Michael Jackson music.
- 17:26Dayna Roselli: I'm so glad it stuck around for 10 years.
- 17:28Sean McAllister: It has And it's done tremendously well over the past decade too.
- 17:34Sean McAllister: I know that is one of the shows, one of the Cirque shows, that is consistently sold out every performance.
- 17:41Dayna Roselli: Thank goodness.
- 17:42Dayna Roselli: Yeah, it's a good one.
- 17:43Dayna Roselli: We're excited to see that again.
- 17:44Dayna Roselli: We'll let you know our thoughts on that next week on podcast 176.
- 17:50Dayna Roselli: For now, though, let's do some tips.
- 17:51Dayna Roselli: Let's do it All right.
- 17:57Dayna Roselli: Sean, when I was gone, you were so busy, you were at everything, so you went to go see the legendary divas, which is part of Legends and Concert that they're doing over at the Orleans.
- 18:06Dayna Roselli: This is a show that's been on the strip for years and years and years, and then it closed once it kind of moved out of the Tropicana.
- 18:14Dayna Roselli: We were hoping it would come back, because it's such a staple, and so they're kind of celebrating 40 years.
- 18:19Sean McAllister: Yeah, in honor of the 40th anniversary of Legends and Concert, they're doing this 11 show run over at the Orleans showroom Right, and so it's a 11 dates that ends on July 8th, so just keep that in mind.
- 18:33Sean McAllister: If you're coming into town, make sure you go over and see it.
- 18:36Sean McAllister: But the legendary divas, our friend Frank Marino, is the.
- 18:42Sean McAllister: MC of the show, MCing as Joan Rivers.
- 18:47Dayna Roselli: His comedy was good.
- 18:48Dayna Roselli: I'm sure Frank is always hilarious.
- 18:50Sean McAllister: He's always hilarious.
- 18:51Sean McAllister: He kept the show going.
- 18:53Sean McAllister: There were the legendary divas appearing were Lady Gaga, dolly Parton, cher and Whitney Houston, and these are tribute artists.
- 19:04Sean McAllister: Frank Marino he's in drag, the other artists that perform These are females who are paying tribute to other female artists, right?
- 19:16Dayna Roselli: yeah, because people say is a drag Queens know that was divas.
- 19:19Dayna Roselli: That was a show called divas.
- 19:20Dayna Roselli: This is legends in concert featuring the divas.
- 19:24Dayna Roselli: They kind of change it up every now and then they'll do different kinds of things, you know, like rock and roll, or you know the tribute to the Brits or things like that.
- 19:32Dayna Roselli: So anyway, but you were over there.
- 19:34Dayna Roselli: I've been in that showroom in a while.
- 19:36Dayna Roselli: How is it?
- 19:37Sean McAllister: oh my god, it's.
- 19:37Sean McAllister: It's a good showroom.
- 19:39Sean McAllister: I don't remember the last time I was over there for something, but when I walked in I was like, oh wow, this is a good showroom, this is a good theater and it's always just a fun show.
- 19:50Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 19:51Dayna Roselli: I think last time I was there I saw Polly Shor's dad do a.
- 19:54Dayna Roselli: Sammy, yeah, sammy Shory put on like a benefit for the Nevada SPCA or something and it was a whatever.
- 20:00Dayna Roselli: Speaking of Polly, i just saw Polly the other day maybe that's.
- 20:03Dayna Roselli: Maybe that's a conversation for another day.
- 20:06Dayna Roselli: But yeah, polly Shor lives here and I ran into him the other day I won't say where, just to keep it private, but wasn't anywhere like controversial or anything.
- 20:15Dayna Roselli: I just feel like, anyway, polly's a hoot, he's a hoot hey, how you doing.
- 20:21Dayna Roselli: I love him, he's, he's a little man.
- 20:22Sean McAllister: He has his band that's been playing popping up around town.
- 20:25Dayna Roselli: He sure does.
- 20:26Dayna Roselli: Okay, back to the tip.
- 20:27Dayna Roselli: If you want to see legends in concert, they're doing it over at the Orleans and you can get $40 tickets.
- 20:33Dayna Roselli: The code is LIC, which stands for legends in concert.
- 20:37Dayna Roselli: 40 LIC 40 put that when you get your tickets and they'll have the show over there until July 8th yeah, our second tip of the week.
- 20:46Sean McAllister: So we are this weekend man it's been almost 300 days here in Las Vegas with no 100 degree temperatures unreal that streak is about to be broken and you know, in Vegas we go big with things.
- 21:03Sean McAllister: So instead of just creeping into the hundreds, we're shooting into the hundreds.
- 21:08Sean McAllister: It's gonna be like 108 this weekend.
- 21:10Dayna Roselli: I think a lot of people are gonna be shocked.
- 21:12Dayna Roselli: No matter what, we've lived here for a long, long time, but we have not felt 100 plus in a while.
- 21:18Dayna Roselli: It has been so in the entire month of June no 100s no, we broke a record right we did.
- 21:24Sean McAllister: We broke a right.
- 21:24Sean McAllister: I think 290 days was the previous record and we shot past that.
- 21:29Sean McAllister: But now we are going into the hundreds and having extreme heat warnings coming with that.
- 21:36Sean McAllister: But here's the tip a way to get out of the heat is to go up to Lee Canyon.
- 21:42Sean McAllister: That's the ski resort that we have up in the Mount Charleston area just north of town.
- 21:49Sean McAllister: They can hour outside of town right, but it's a great drive up the mountain.
- 21:54Sean McAllister: You see the, the trees change.
- 21:56Sean McAllister: You see the thermometer on your car ticking down as you get to the higher elevations.
- 22:01Sean McAllister: But the scenic chairlift rides are back at Lee Canyon now too yeah, that's cool.
- 22:07Dayna Roselli: So those are open and I guess are open because I was reading the comments under their posts on Instagram.
- 22:11Dayna Roselli: It was saying seven days a week.
- 22:12Dayna Roselli: So they are open and good to go.
- 22:14Dayna Roselli: You can take the chair rides and I know people were asking can kids go?
- 22:17Dayna Roselli: and they said you know it's up to you as a parent, like they're not gonna make you know so, but but yeah, so families can go up there on the Sherwood Trail and and take the chair lift.
- 22:27Sean McAllister: It looks beautiful, it's cooler and I know you're gonna be going up this weekend yeah, and they have the lodge open, so you can, you know, grab lunch, get some beers they have local craft beers that you can get up there.
- 22:39Sean McAllister: It really is a great facility.
- 22:43Sean McAllister: If you're a mountain biker, you can take your mountain bike up the chairlift and they have trails coming down the ski slopes.
- 22:51Dayna Roselli: They built a mountain bike trail that opened last year, so that's another great option yeah, that's a lot of fun, and I know they also have a disc golf what do they call it?
- 23:02Dayna Roselli: like a course is a course disc golf course that they were talking about too.
- 23:07Dayna Roselli: That they're, they're talking.
- 23:09Dayna Roselli: They called it an elevated our new elevated disc golf course that they have over there.
- 23:15Dayna Roselli: That is also open seven days a week.
- 23:17Sean McAllister: So tons of things to do up there they do, and it's a again a nice break from the heat like 20 to 30 degrees below the temperature that we have down here on the valley floor.
- 23:28Sean McAllister: So it does it feels so good.
- 23:29Sean McAllister: I think we're gonna take Sawyer a little dog and get out of the heat a little bit yeah, there's always so much to talk about you guys.
- 23:37Dayna Roselli: I mean we'll keep going for 176.
- 23:40Dayna Roselli: Frankie Valley got married, by the way, over the Westgate, legendary Frankie Valley.
