Transcript
- 0:03Speaker 1: Wanning family. Good morning, God bless you. Welcome back to
- 0:05Speaker 1: the Morning Devo. It's a new week, a new day,
- 0:08Speaker 1: a new start. Amen, and enough is enough for all
- 0:11Speaker 1: those who had enough the wickedness of this world.
- 0:15Speaker 2: That means you're waking up.
- 0:17Speaker 1: You're waking up and God is showing you that there's evil,
- 0:21Speaker 1: suffering and all that that's going on in the world.
- 0:23Speaker 1: There's a solution onto those issues. The solution to the
- 0:27Speaker 1: problem of sin is the Lord Jesus.
- 0:30Speaker 2: Amen.
- 0:30Speaker 1: So he's waking you up, he's nudging you, he's opening
- 0:33Speaker 1: up your eyes, opening up your ears, opening up your
- 0:35Speaker 1: heart of understanding. And it's because he wants to rescue us.
- 0:40Speaker 1: He wants to save us, he wants to bedeem us.
- 0:42Speaker 1: He wants to give us the born again experience. Today
- 0:46Speaker 1: on the Morning Devot, we're gonna come against something that
- 0:50Speaker 1: I see a lot on TV and some major churches
- 0:54Speaker 1: and the mainstream churches and just places around and maybe
- 1:01Speaker 1: even your region. You've seen this. People are celebrating sin.
- 1:07Speaker 1: People are celebrating sin, And I'm not really focused on
- 1:11Speaker 1: those who are celebrating sin who don't know the Lord.
- 1:17Speaker 1: I'm starting to see, or you're probably starting to see
- 1:20Speaker 1: that those who proclaim or profess to be born again
- 1:23Speaker 1: believers Christians are celebrating sin. Let it not be said
- 1:29Speaker 1: of you, and let it not be said of me.
- 1:32Speaker 1: Christians are called to confront sin, not to celebrate it.
- 1:39Speaker 1: So the question is, are we more excited about the
- 1:42Speaker 1: world's approval than God's holiness? Are you wanting to be
- 1:49Speaker 1: just a common Christian? Meaning that you go to church,
- 1:53Speaker 1: you do your Sunday thing, you do your during the
- 1:55Speaker 1: week thing when your church meets up, and then you
- 1:59Speaker 1: go back to the same old, same old, which Jesus
- 2:03Speaker 1: gives us a new life, a born again experience, we're
- 2:07Speaker 1: gonna have to go back to the same old, same old.
- 2:09Speaker 1: You ever heard a believer say answer the question of hey,
- 2:15Speaker 1: how you doing, and the believer says, same old, same.
- 2:19Speaker 2: Oh, we're not doing that, any man, not over here,
- 2:26Speaker 2: excuse me, I'm sorry, I'm looking at the screen. I'm
- 2:27Speaker 2: gonna make sure everything's up and run. Okay, we're not
- 2:31Speaker 2: doing that.
- 2:32Speaker 1: We celebrate holiness, righteousness, we don't celebrate sin. And those
- 2:39Speaker 1: days for the believers that.
- 2:41Speaker 2: Should be over now.
- 2:43Speaker 1: If you continue to be in this sinful behavior, right whatever,
- 2:49Speaker 1: that sinful behavior is in your life.
- 2:51Speaker 2: You're the one that knows that you and God.
- 2:54Speaker 1: Then my suggestion is to check to see if we're
- 2:57Speaker 1: still in a faith, because if you're losing conviction of
- 3:02Speaker 1: celebrating sin and you're not convicting anymore, and now you
- 3:06Speaker 1: kind of like sin, go to church, sin, go to
- 3:09Speaker 1: church sin, do ministry sin, do ministry sin, and get
- 3:13Speaker 1: other people to sing with you, and then hide things
- 3:17Speaker 1: and then swear secrecy amongst another and then do church.
- 3:22Speaker 2: Then you might check. You might have to check to
- 3:24Speaker 2: see if you're still in the faith. Amen.
- 3:26Speaker 1: And I'm speaking to the man on the screen and
- 3:30Speaker 1: behind the mic as well. I would have to check
- 3:33Speaker 1: myself too. We're gonna be in Romans chapter one, verse
- 3:36Speaker 1: number thirty two. If you have any questions, comments, concerns,
- 3:39Speaker 1: pray requests, or anything along those lines, please do not
- 3:42Speaker 1: hesitate to leave it on a live chat. That's what
- 3:45Speaker 1: we're here for, Amen. We're here to celebrate holiness, and
- 3:48Speaker 1: we're here to gather together.
- 3:49Speaker 2: We're here to communicate.
- 3:50Speaker 1: We're here to devote some time to the Lord first
- 3:53Speaker 1: part of the day, middle part of the day, or
- 3:56Speaker 1: maybe the end part of the day, depending on your
- 3:58Speaker 1: work schedule or your schedule period.
- 4:01Speaker 2: Amen, Let's make.
- 4:02Speaker 1: Sure we create and carve out some time to devote
- 4:06Speaker 1: our lives and devote our behavior to the scriptures, to
- 4:11Speaker 1: the Holy Bible.
- 4:12Speaker 2: Amen.
- 4:13Speaker 1: To that way, we could be encouraged that we could
- 4:16Speaker 1: be growing in the faith and knowledge of who the
- 4:17Speaker 1: Lord Jesus is in our lives.
- 4:20Speaker 2: Amen. So let's pray first.
- 4:22Speaker 1: After we pray, we'll share this out for like sixty seconds,
- 4:24Speaker 1: and then on the other side of those sixty seconds,
- 4:27Speaker 1: we'll get right back into today's morning devo celebrating sin.
- 4:31Speaker 1: I know for a morning devo is that even what
- 4:35Speaker 1: are we talking about?
- 4:36Speaker 2: What are we doing? Right?
- 4:37Speaker 1: But God is good Amen? And he I'm a thinker
- 4:41Speaker 1: and I'm very observant, and I just just ask God
- 4:45Speaker 1: a lot of questions, Amen. Daily asking God questions. I'm
- 4:49Speaker 1: asking Him for help in some areas of my life.
- 4:51Speaker 1: I have asked asking the Lord questions and a.
- 4:54Speaker 2: Beautiful thing about our Lord.
- 4:56Speaker 1: And I will say with Jesus Amen, he responds God,
- 5:01Speaker 1: he has Holy Spirit living within us, right, and the
- 5:05Speaker 1: Holy Spirit is leading us into all truth.
- 5:08Speaker 2: There's order in God's Kingdom. Amen.
- 5:12Speaker 1: And Holy Spirit is leading us into all the truth
- 5:15Speaker 1: of His order, and because Holy Spirit is holy right.
- 5:20Speaker 1: He recognizes when we're celebrating things that we should not
- 5:24Speaker 1: be celebrating. He recognizes when we're acting and behaving certain
- 5:28Speaker 1: ways that we should not be acting or behaving because
- 5:32Speaker 1: we're representing the King of kings and the Lord of lords,
- 5:35Speaker 1: where Jesus represented us.
- 5:37Speaker 2: Amen, And we need to just have our eyes open and.
- 5:41Speaker 1: Be aware and be alert and be ready to give
- 5:45Speaker 1: the reason for why we believe. Amen, for the hope
- 5:49Speaker 1: that's in us. And we need to do that with
- 5:51Speaker 1: gentleness and respect. So Father, I thank you for right
- 5:54Speaker 1: now this moment. Thank you, Lord God for considering us today,
- 5:58Speaker 1: for watching over us, for keeping us safe, for waking
- 6:01Speaker 1: us up. Thank you, Lord God that even though hardships
- 6:04Speaker 1: are here, we will endure through those hardships because we
- 6:07Speaker 1: know the other end of those hardships. We know that
- 6:10Speaker 1: all these things that are happening in our lives and
- 6:12Speaker 1: around our lives and in this world will one day
- 6:15Speaker 1: come to an end. You're coming back, and we thank you,
- 6:18Speaker 1: Love God for your tryumph and return. But in the meantime,
- 6:22Speaker 1: help us to be just active in the kingdom, active
- 6:27Speaker 1: in our faith, active in the community and our culture
- 6:31Speaker 1: as born again believers, representatives of the Most High God,
- 6:35Speaker 1: ambassadors for Christ, and part of what the Kingdom of
- 6:39Speaker 1: God is doing on this side of eternity. Thank you,
- 6:42Speaker 1: Lok God for encouraging us. Thank you, Lord God for
- 6:45Speaker 1: your enthusiasm. Thank you Love God for protecting us and
- 6:48Speaker 1: guiding us and protecting our families and our households and
- 6:52Speaker 1: our finances and our health. Thank you, Lord Jesus, you
- 6:55Speaker 1: are all awesome, a man in all your ways. And
- 6:59Speaker 1: thank you Lord for providing a path of righteousness and
- 7:02Speaker 1: for ordering our steps. I pray, Lord God, I hetersection
- 7:05Speaker 1: over myself physically, emotionally and spiritually, over my wife, over
- 7:09Speaker 1: our children, over our grandchildren, and every single family member
- 7:12Speaker 1: from the very youngest to the very oldest, and every
- 7:15Speaker 1: single one in between. I pray the same prayer daily
- 7:18Speaker 1: for every single person on the other side of the
- 7:20Speaker 1: screen and on the other side of this mic. In
- 7:22Speaker 1: the powerful name of Jesus. I pray this's by faith,
- 7:25Speaker 1: and those who agree we say amen to the Amen.
- 7:29Speaker 1: Help me share this out sixty seconds. When we come back,
- 7:31Speaker 1: we'll get into Romans, chapter number one, verse number thirty two.
- 7:36Speaker 1: I'll be right back back, were back. Let's go for it.
- 9:02Speaker 1: Let's connect by way of the Word of God.
- 9:04Speaker 2: Amen. To me. Take the Word of God is.
- 9:07Speaker 1: Speaking, Amen, And we're engaged in it, and we're activating
- 9:10Speaker 1: and applying what we're learning. Day by day, we're growing
- 9:14Speaker 1: in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and our savior,
- 9:16Speaker 1: the Lord Jesus Christ. If you're at cell O Radio Network,
- 9:20Speaker 1: so when is with a z org on the app
- 9:22Speaker 1: or on the website, Amen, make sure you visit the
- 9:25Speaker 1: donate page so that way you can see exactly what
- 9:27Speaker 1: we're trying to do in the ministry.
- 9:29Speaker 2: Amen.
- 9:30Speaker 1: And hopefully you will be prayerful about donating. But please
- 9:34Speaker 1: first and foremost pray for the ministry. Pray for those
- 9:37Speaker 1: who are in the ministry, my family, our friends, all
- 9:40Speaker 1: those are sponsors, all those who are.
- 9:42Speaker 2: Connected to the ministry of Celear Radio Network.
- 9:44Speaker 1: So when is inc and the people who have been
- 9:46Speaker 1: connected since day one, people are still connected and people
- 9:50Speaker 1: from the past, everybody used to be on a network
- 9:52Speaker 1: are still on the network.
- 9:54Speaker 2: Amen. Please keep us in prayer because these times are
- 9:57Speaker 2: challenging right now. Amen.
- 9:59Speaker 1: But we know we're victorious. But it's so encouraging to
- 10:02Speaker 1: know that other people will come alongside, support us financially,
- 10:06Speaker 1: support us through prayer, support us through events, support us
- 10:09Speaker 1: any which way that God just steers you.
- 10:13Speaker 2: Or leads you to support. Amen. So let's go for it.
- 10:16Speaker 2: Let's go for it, right, Amen.
- 10:22Speaker 1: I don't know what this person is saying, but welcome
- 10:26Speaker 1: to the morning, Devo, whoever you are. I'm not even
- 10:28Speaker 1: gonna put it on the screen because I'm not understanding
- 10:31Speaker 1: what it's saying here.
- 10:34Speaker 2: But let's go for it.
- 10:35Speaker 1: I'm gonna put it on a screen for those who
- 10:37Speaker 1: are watching, for those who are listening.
- 10:38Speaker 2: Amen, no worries, no problems. We'll have this red word
- 10:42Speaker 2: for word. Amen.
- 10:43Speaker 1: Celebrating sin. We should not be doing that. But this
- 10:47Speaker 1: is what the word of God has for us today. Romans,
- 10:52Speaker 1: chapter one, verse thirty two says, although they know God's
- 10:55Speaker 1: righteous decree and his judgment, it's not like this is
- 11:01Speaker 1: knowledge or it's not like we don't understand what's going on.
- 11:04Speaker 2: It's not like we don't know.
- 11:06Speaker 1: Although they know God's righteous decree and his judgment that
- 11:10Speaker 1: those who do such things deserve death according to the law. Right,
- 11:14Speaker 1: yet they not only do them, but they even enthusiastically
- 11:21Speaker 1: approve and tolerate others who practice them. In other words,
- 11:25Speaker 1: that's celebrating sin. And these people are being dealt with
- 11:30Speaker 1: through the apostle Paul, who was inspired by Holy Spirit.
- 11:33Speaker 2: To write down this verse.
- 11:36Speaker 1: Right, So, I'm not talking about something I'm making up,
- 11:40Speaker 1: or behaviors that I'm trying to make up. I'm talking
- 11:44Speaker 1: about something that people already know. They already know God's
- 11:48Speaker 1: righteous decree and his judgment on these matters. But they still,
- 11:54Speaker 1: even enthusiastically, they still approve and tolerate others who practice them.
- 12:00Speaker 1: And a lot of people are doing this in our
- 12:02Speaker 1: culture in the name of love. Right, Let's just love
- 12:06Speaker 1: one another and tolerate one another and accept one another
- 12:10Speaker 1: right and normalize sin. Meanwhile, a lot of people are
- 12:15Speaker 1: raising the banner of the Lord Jesus and doing this.
- 12:19Speaker 1: God knows about us, God knows about them. God knows
- 12:24Speaker 1: about us that are not celebrating sin. God knows about
- 12:26Speaker 1: them who are celebrating sin a men, Romans one thirty two.
- 12:31Speaker 1: And this is a wake up call for myself and
- 12:33Speaker 1: for every single other person who calls themselves Christ followers. Right,
- 12:37Speaker 1: we are in this together, we are not alone, We're
- 12:40Speaker 1: not abandoned. We're not shipwrecked on an island with no
- 12:43Speaker 1: escape and no sign of a rescue coming.
- 12:47Speaker 2: We have a rescuer, a.
- 12:48Speaker 1: Man, we have a redeemer who's alive, and we have
- 12:51Speaker 1: the Word on it. And this means because although you know,
- 12:56Speaker 1: I would like to have a lot of comments every
- 12:57Speaker 1: on this, I don't need to the words for itself.
- 13:01Speaker 2: Amen.
- 13:01Speaker 1: The Word speaks, but I do have notes celebrating. Simple
- 13:05Speaker 1: behavior refers to the act of openly approving, promoting, or
- 13:10Speaker 1: finding joy in actions that the Bible identifies as sin
- 13:15Speaker 1: that the Word of God identifies as sin. So I know,
- 13:20Speaker 1: I'm hearing a lot of convincing arguments.
- 13:24Speaker 2: Of why we need to mind our business.
- 13:27Speaker 1: And you know, people say, you can't force your religion
- 13:30Speaker 1: on anybody, or you shouldn't be forcing your religion on anyone,
- 13:34Speaker 1: and then I'm wondering what religion they're talking about, number one,
- 13:38Speaker 1: And the forcing part. That's what always gets me thinking
- 13:42Speaker 1: when I see debates, or when I see evangelists on
- 13:45Speaker 1: social media on YouTube and they're just evangelizing, they're going
- 13:50Speaker 1: to certain areas wherever they go and they're just preaching
- 13:54Speaker 1: the gospel. And then when somebody goes up to the
- 13:57Speaker 1: person that's preaching the gospel, they say, you should be
- 14:00Speaker 1: forcing your religion on us. And the gospel message really
- 14:03Speaker 1: doesn't speak about a religion. The Gospel message speaks about
- 14:07Speaker 1: a person named Jesus and the good news about him
- 14:10Speaker 1: and getting to know him and getting saved because of
- 14:13Speaker 1: him a man and save from the wrath of God,
- 14:17Speaker 1: and the good news that Jesus presents eternal life and
- 14:21Speaker 1: offers eternal life really has nothing to do with religion.
- 14:24Speaker 1: Do you hear any religion in that? But I understand
- 14:27Speaker 1: what people are saying. They say, well, they believe in Jesus,
- 14:30Speaker 1: they're reading from the Bible, quoting from the Bible, so
- 14:33Speaker 1: to them, that's a religion. And anything that's sinful in
- 14:36Speaker 1: their lives now they're feeling conviction, which is a good thing,
- 14:41Speaker 1: or they feel like they're being challenged, or they feel
- 14:43Speaker 1: like they're being judged.
- 14:45Speaker 2: Right, so what does it mean?
- 14:47Speaker 1: Celebrating sinful behavior can include these things, public approval of immorality, right,
- 14:55Speaker 1: sexual sin, violence, greed, things like that. I'm seeing a
- 15:00Speaker 1: lot of that increasing in our culture. At least hear
- 15:04Speaker 1: when broadcasting in the United States, entertainment entertainment that glorifies
- 15:09Speaker 1: evil or even mocks righteousness. I don't even have to
- 15:13Speaker 1: go there. You see it all the time. Do you
- 15:17Speaker 1: ever look at social media. Do you ever follow musicians
- 15:22Speaker 1: and artists. You'll see it, social trends that call wrong right.
- 15:28Speaker 1: And the prophet Isaiah spoke about this hundreds of years ago,
- 15:31Speaker 1: Isaiah chapter five and verse twenty. Read it for yourself,
- 15:34Speaker 1: Isaiah five and twenty, about this personal boasting about simple lifestyles.
- 15:41Speaker 1: You hear a lot of that boasting and rap music. Amen,
- 15:46Speaker 1: I have this, you don't have it.
- 15:48Speaker 2: I have this amount of money. You're broke.
- 15:50Speaker 1: I have these amount of relationships, and you're by yourself.
- 15:54Speaker 1: And they even mock people who are married to one
- 15:56Speaker 1: woman or one man.
- 15:58Speaker 2: Amen.
- 15:59Speaker 1: They mock heterosexuals, they mock the church, They mock the
- 16:03Speaker 1: relationship between Jesus and the body of Christ.
- 16:08Speaker 2: He's the groom with the bride.
- 16:10Speaker 1: People are mocking, and the Bible answers the mockery and says,
- 16:14Speaker 1: do not be deceived. The people who are mocking God
- 16:17Speaker 1: are being deceived. The Bible says, do not be deceived.
- 16:20Speaker 1: God is not mocked. So we see what the Bible says.
- 16:25Speaker 2: We read it.
- 16:26Speaker 1: Romans chapter one, thirty two. So this verse warns not
- 16:30Speaker 1: just about doing wrong listen to this, but about applauding
- 16:35Speaker 1: others who do wrong with you. No, And I know
- 16:40Speaker 1: it's like a trend with the younger right, the younger generation.
- 16:46Speaker 1: They want to do what they want to do, but
- 16:49Speaker 1: it's not really them, right. Apostle Paul says, it's the flesh.
- 16:52Speaker 1: It's like almost something else working within the members of
- 16:55Speaker 1: the body or the people that say that Christians, something
- 16:59Speaker 1: else is at work, something else is a lot, it's
- 17:01Speaker 1: called a flesh. And some people are getting to a
- 17:05Speaker 1: point where the flesh is so much in control that
- 17:07Speaker 1: they're showing what they're doing, writing about it, right, parading
- 17:13Speaker 1: around about sinful behavior, showing pictures, doing things on videos
- 17:20Speaker 1: that kind of like sanuate or sexualize or make you think,
- 17:28Speaker 1: why did that person just take that picture or why
- 17:30Speaker 1: did that person just do that video. I saw something
- 17:32Speaker 1: a couple of months ago, and it could have been
- 17:36Speaker 1: in my imagination. I'm trying to be you know, correct here,
- 17:41Speaker 1: politically correct, but the video was so suggested. They were
- 17:46Speaker 1: so suggestive that this young lady was about to do
- 17:50Speaker 1: something sexually, just because the way the video was recorded
- 17:56Speaker 1: in a little clip, very short a man, and I'm
- 18:01Speaker 1: thinking why it was going in twenty four hours it
- 18:06Speaker 1: was a real and I'm like, we need to be
- 18:11Speaker 1: careful with what we're doing, how we're living our behavior. Amen,
- 18:15Speaker 1: And being born again doesn't mean that it's a behavioral
- 18:18Speaker 1: change automatically. Being born again means you have the spirit
- 18:21Speaker 1: of God living inside of you that should convict us
- 18:24Speaker 1: of all sinful behavior, and then we'll adjust to what
- 18:29Speaker 1: God wants us to do. By the Frank, I see you. God,
- 18:31Speaker 1: bless you as well. God bless your family. Thank you
- 18:33Speaker 1: for blessing everybody on the morning debo, and we miss
- 18:37Speaker 1: you as well.
- 18:37Speaker 2: A man, thank you so much for coming through my brother,
- 18:40Speaker 2: my friend.
- 18:41Speaker 1: So Proverbs seventeen and fifteen, acquitting the guilty and condemning
- 18:47Speaker 1: the innocent. The Lord detests them both. Right, God rejects
- 18:53Speaker 1: when justice and truth are reversed, when people are calling
- 19:01Speaker 1: good evil and evil good. You see that, and you
- 19:05Speaker 1: see that a lot, especially nowadays. Right, it's been happening
- 19:09Speaker 1: since the days that the scriptures were coming out and
- 19:11Speaker 1: being released, but we know that we're seeing the increase
- 19:14Speaker 1: of it. But as sinful behavior increases, have you seen
- 19:19Speaker 1: the increase of people who want Jesus, who need Jesus,
- 19:22Speaker 1: who are active out there doing ministry, witnessing, evangelizing, Amen,
- 19:27Speaker 1: preaching the gospel in the marketplace, in areas where people
- 19:31Speaker 1: think that they're not allowed to go and preach the gospel.
- 19:34Speaker 1: Have you seen the rise of young adults who need Jesus,
- 19:38Speaker 1: who want Jesus, who want to be a part of
- 19:40Speaker 1: what God is doing on this side of eternity. Have
- 19:42Speaker 1: you seen the increase of parents bringing their children to church.
- 19:46Speaker 2: You're seeing it. I'm seeing it, Amen, Because we know
- 19:49Speaker 2: that evil.
- 19:50Speaker 1: Is trying to take its stands, so righteousness has taken
- 19:54Speaker 1: a higher stand because God's not shocked or surprised at
- 19:59Speaker 1: what's going on in world. Actually, he's equipping the saints
- 20:03Speaker 1: to go and rescue the laws, and He's putting people
- 20:06Speaker 1: in a position to equip the saints to go do
- 20:09Speaker 1: the works of the ministry. Your apostle, right, the prophets, Amen, evangelists,
- 20:17Speaker 1: the pastors, the teachers, a man, all are equipping the
- 20:20Speaker 1: saints of God's army to go and do the works
- 20:25Speaker 1: of the ministry. When you see that happening, a man,
- 20:28Speaker 1: you're seeing God's hand and God's work in the lives
- 20:33Speaker 1: of every single person, all those whosoevers who called upon
- 20:36Speaker 1: the name of the Lord to be saved a man.
- 20:38Speaker 1: And it's encouraging to see, and it's refreshing to see,
- 20:42Speaker 1: and it's exciting to see that we're part of a solution,
- 20:46Speaker 1: not part of the problem.
- 20:47Speaker 2: That we're not celebrating sin.
- 20:49Speaker 1: We're celebrating righteousness, and we're holding up righteousness as the
- 20:53Speaker 1: higher standard morality. Who says what's right and who says
- 20:57Speaker 1: what's wrong when we know we have a more compass
- 21:01Speaker 1: because of God's love, grace and mercy in our lives,
- 21:05Speaker 1: and we know what's righting wrong by way of holy
- 21:07Speaker 1: spirit of living within us. And we're convicted of something
- 21:10Speaker 1: that we're doing wrong, and we're just helping others to
- 21:14Speaker 1: see what we're seeing. Amen, in a gentle way and
- 21:17Speaker 1: in a respectful way. Amen, not in yelling, shouting and
- 21:20Speaker 1: sending people to hell. No, we don't do that. And
- 21:23Speaker 1: we listen to people's story. We invite them to listen
- 21:26Speaker 1: to our story and to hear the Gospel preach or
- 21:29Speaker 1: the Gospel message as a witness to the love of
- 21:31Speaker 1: God for them as well. Good Morning, sister Joy and
- 21:34Speaker 1: I see you, God, bless you. Welcome back to the morning. Devo,
- 21:37Speaker 1: my system, my friend. So we got what we need
- 21:39Speaker 1: to live in this world. But we're also living in
- 21:42Speaker 1: the world that's falling broken. Right, It's a lot of
- 21:44Speaker 1: darkness in the world. So we bring the light and
- 21:47Speaker 1: we bring the salt, because we're the light of the
- 21:49Speaker 1: world and the salt of the earth. We bring the flavor.
- 21:52Speaker 2: Amen. And God is the.
- 21:54Speaker 1: Savior through the Lord Jesus Christ. If he's just chop
- 21:58Speaker 1: the five verse number eleven have nothing to do with
- 22:01Speaker 1: the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. Especially
- 22:06Speaker 1: around Halloween season, the deeds of darkness are all around masking, arraid,
- 22:11Speaker 1: literally masking arraid, masking, masquerading sin to be celebrated in
- 22:19Speaker 1: the form of Halloween, Halloween costumes, you know, festivals, and
- 22:27Speaker 1: of course haunted homes and haunted houses, haunted farms. That's
- 22:34Speaker 1: a disguise of sinfle behavior. Amen, deeds of darkness, stay
- 22:39Speaker 1: away from that, right. God rejects those things. Christians are
- 22:45Speaker 1: called to confront those things, not celebrate those things. We're
- 22:49Speaker 1: confronting deeds of darkness, and so many preachers every year,
- 22:53Speaker 1: and I've done it for you many years as well.
- 22:55Speaker 1: I'm just letting the other preachers do it, Amen, and
- 22:58Speaker 1: I'm sharing what they're talking by Halloween, exposing the deeds
- 23:02Speaker 1: of darkness during Halloween season. And I know a lot
- 23:05Speaker 1: of people are saying you're overreacting, you Christians, always thinking
- 23:08Speaker 1: something is evil, something is dark. It's just a fun
- 23:11Speaker 1: family celebration. It's just a fun family holiday. It's a
- 23:15Speaker 1: way we can have fun. You know, my daughter says,
- 23:17Speaker 1: I like to be scared, and because she's not understanding
- 23:20Speaker 1: what fear is, she doesn't understand that we're teaching her
- 23:24Speaker 1: that fear is a spirit and the Word of God
- 23:26Speaker 1: says God didn't give us a spirit of fear. So
- 23:29Speaker 1: if God is calling fear a spirit, guess what fear is, ladies.
- 23:32Speaker 2: And gentlemen, a spirit.
- 23:34Speaker 1: And we need to teach our young children that they
- 23:38Speaker 1: meant and show our friends the examples of what fear
- 23:42Speaker 1: does to someone who says they have faith. Like I've
- 23:46Speaker 1: heard preachers say that fear cancels out faith. I don't
- 23:50Speaker 1: know how true that is, but I know fear definitely
- 23:53Speaker 1: challenges our faith because God didn't give us a spirit
- 23:56Speaker 1: of fear. So we're walking around with fear, right spirit
- 24:00Speaker 1: that's trying to take us in another direction of where
- 24:05Speaker 1: God wants us to take us. I should say it
- 24:07Speaker 1: like that. Why is it dangerous?
- 24:10Speaker 2: Sam?
- 24:10Speaker 1: Why you know, celebrating sin? You know, and people are
- 24:15Speaker 1: probably in their mind saying, well, you're calling that sin,
- 24:18Speaker 1: But I'm just calling it fun.
- 24:19Speaker 2: You know.
- 24:20Speaker 1: How dare you judge people and say they're sinning and
- 24:22Speaker 1: doing something wrong?
- 24:24Speaker 2: Here it is.
- 24:25Speaker 1: It's dangerous because it desensitizes the conscience. Sin becomes normalized.
- 24:32Speaker 1: I wrote a book years ago. I don't know if
- 24:34Speaker 1: I have it here. It's called yeah right here, I
- 24:37Speaker 1: have it. The Enemy Strategies. The Enemy's strategy.
- 24:41Speaker 2: Victory is yours? Right.
- 24:43Speaker 1: I wrote this book years ago and man doing a fast.
- 24:47Speaker 1: I was fasting and praying and God gave me this
- 24:50Speaker 1: to write. Basically, the enemy still does the same things.
- 24:55Speaker 2: Right.
- 24:57Speaker 1: So I'm going to read the back of it and
- 24:59Speaker 1: you let me know. And I put it in Halloween
- 25:01Speaker 1: colors on purpose. I want to read it and you
- 25:05Speaker 1: let me know if this still is relevant.
- 25:08Speaker 2: I wrote this.
- 25:08Speaker 1: I think in twenty it should be a year here somewhere,
- 25:14Speaker 1: right twenty sixteen.
- 25:16Speaker 2: I wrote this book.
- 25:17Speaker 1: Listen, So there you have the three basic, time tested
- 25:21Speaker 1: strategies of the enemy. He the enemy has mastered these
- 25:25Speaker 1: attacks and his weapons are not to be taken lightly.
- 25:28Speaker 1: Now that you're aware of them, let me help you
- 25:31Speaker 1: take action steps. But okay, this doesn't say what the steps,
- 25:35Speaker 1: what the three things are. Let me see if I
- 25:38Speaker 1: have a quick summary of what they are, right over
- 25:41Speaker 1: and over again, the same tactics. And then I should
- 25:44Speaker 1: have read this before I put this up on display.
- 25:49Speaker 2: Right, I read one.
- 25:54Speaker 1: I'm running out of time here and you have to
- 25:58Speaker 1: get the book. Oh, here it goes these other three
- 26:01Speaker 1: strategic weapons. The enemy is trying to humanize God. Humanize God,
- 26:06Speaker 1: meaning that when things happen wrong in Jesus, God Holy
- 26:11Speaker 1: Spirit is surprised and shocked as almost of this humanizing.
- 26:17Speaker 2: Number two, minimize sin. And that's what we're talking about now.
- 26:20Speaker 1: People celebrating simple behavior, they're actually minimizing the consequences of
- 26:26Speaker 1: what's to come after you do simple behavior. And make
- 26:31Speaker 1: man the deity, make man the moral compass. That's the
- 26:34Speaker 1: three things the enemy always does over and over again.
- 26:39Speaker 2: Read it. I mean it's a short read. I wrote.
- 26:42Speaker 1: I write short books. It's my first book. I have
- 26:44Speaker 1: another one a man. I believe in short content books
- 26:48Speaker 1: because you could get it all in one sitting a man.
- 26:51Speaker 2: You can take notes, you can.
- 26:53Speaker 1: Highlight, and then apply what you're seeing and what you're
- 26:57Speaker 1: reading in real time and see what happens.
- 27:00Speaker 2: Amen. That was my point.
- 27:02Speaker 1: The Christian response to this issue is pray. I know
- 27:07Speaker 1: we're saying just pray about it, as if that's the
- 27:10Speaker 1: last resort, or if you know we're pitiful for pray. No, pray, pray, pray,
- 27:17Speaker 1: pray for discernment. Recognize what the world is calling normal,
- 27:21Speaker 1: and recognize what God says is simple behavior. Stand for truth,
- 27:25Speaker 1: for grace, stand for truth. Everybody is standing for their truth.
- 27:29Speaker 2: Right.
- 27:30Speaker 1: You hear people saying, oh, that's your truth, and that's
- 27:33Speaker 1: you know, this is my truth. No, there's only one truth,
- 27:35Speaker 1: and it's the Gospel truth, God's truth, his word, his truth.
- 27:39Speaker 2: Amen. I'm coming here with nothing. God has everything. Amen.
- 27:43Speaker 2: Great morning, my brother and friends.
- 27:45Speaker 1: Thank you brother John for coming through and spreading your
- 27:49Speaker 1: good vibes, Amen and sharing.
- 27:51Speaker 2: A good morning message. Thank you for coming through, my
- 27:53Speaker 2: brother and my friend live as a light.
- 27:57Speaker 1: Our joy comes from holiness, not coming from rebellion. It's
- 28:01Speaker 1: not coming from you know, bad behavior, simple behaviors, coming
- 28:05Speaker 1: from victory in Christ. Since to Jennifer, I see you,
- 28:08Speaker 1: good morning, my sister, and my friend. I was gonna
- 28:10Speaker 1: say my brother, my friend, my bad Now a lot
- 28:13Speaker 1: of times that so early in the morning, and I'm
- 28:17Speaker 1: still adjusting. But thank you so much, sister for coming through,
- 28:20Speaker 1: and thank you for your amen model repentance. Show others
- 28:25Speaker 1: the beauty of forgiveness is beautiful. To repent, it's beautiful
- 28:28Speaker 1: to have been forgiven, and show people that we're forgiving people.
- 28:32Speaker 2: Amen. We're transformed through the power of Christ.
- 28:36Speaker 1: So are we celebrating what God says not to or
- 28:41Speaker 1: are we standing up for righteousness and holiness in a
- 28:45Speaker 1: way that's gentle to others.
- 28:46Speaker 2: And respectful to others?
- 28:49Speaker 1: So are we more excited about the world's approval than
- 28:53Speaker 1: God's holiness? Those are questions that I ask myself. You
- 28:56Speaker 1: might be saying this is too early in the morning
- 28:58Speaker 1: for allow that saying, Well, I'm a thinker. I think
- 29:00Speaker 1: of these things literally. I ask myself these questions. I
- 29:04Speaker 1: ask God a lot of questions. And I know a
- 29:06Speaker 1: lot of people out there are part of the campus
- 29:09Speaker 1: cell and you shouldn't questioned God. Listen, I question in
- 29:11Speaker 1: God daily a man, and I'm still here and I
- 29:14Speaker 1: admit it, and he shows me his truth in his
- 29:17Speaker 1: word and I experience his transformation.
- 29:20Speaker 2: I hope you're doing the same. Listen.
- 29:21Speaker 1: Romans chapter one, Verse number thirty two is where we were.
- 29:25Speaker 1: Read the whole chapter Romans chapter one. See what God
- 29:29Speaker 1: has to say in context and all the contexts of
- 29:32Speaker 1: that whole chapter. Amen, So you could check me out
- 29:35Speaker 1: make sure I'm not out of context.
- 29:37Speaker 2: Amen.
- 29:37Speaker 1: If i am, you know, I'm always ready for correction,
- 29:41Speaker 1: and I receive correction because the Bible says for those
- 29:44Speaker 1: people who do not receive correction, they're fools. And I
- 29:46Speaker 1: don't want to walk around like a fool. So I'm
- 29:48Speaker 1: out of time though. But God bless you all. Thank
- 29:51Speaker 1: you so much for hanging out with me for this
- 29:53Speaker 1: morning debo. God bless you all. Got to keep you
- 29:55Speaker 1: all and remember always that God is good.
- 29:59Speaker 2: Please,
