- 0:02SPEAKER_00: Hey guys, welcome back to another episode of Skin Anarchy.
- 0:05SPEAKER_00: This is your host, Ecta, and I'm really excited about our guest today because he's incredibly renowned for his work.
- 0:12SPEAKER_00: I'm thrilled to welcome Dr.
- 0:13SPEAKER_00: Johnny Franco, who is renowned he's a renowned plastic surgeon and founder of Austin Plastic Surgeon.
- 0:19SPEAKER_00: And as a key opinion leader for Softwave, Dr.
- 0:22SPEAKER_00: Franco combines deep expertise and innovation to deliver top-notch results in aesthetics.
- 0:27SPEAKER_00: And he has tons of training, both nationally and internationally.
- 0:30SPEAKER_00: And I can't wait to learn from you, Dr.
- 0:32SPEAKER_00: Franco.
- 0:32SPEAKER_00: So welcome to the show.
- 0:34SPEAKER_01: I'm super excited to be on it.
- 0:36SPEAKER_01: And uh I think this is such a great topic and so timely with the uh all the weight loss going on and skin laxity being such a hot issue now and and really probably for the next you know five to ten years.
- 0:47SPEAKER_01: So I think a perfect topic.
- 0:49SPEAKER_00: Absolutely.
- 0:50SPEAKER_00: No, I I couldn't agree more.
- 0:52SPEAKER_00: And I, you know, I think we were uh chatting before the episode, and I've seen Softwave everywhere recently, you know, and I've really been curious about how it works and what it is.
- 1:00SPEAKER_00: But Dr.
- 1:01SPEAKER_00: Finger, if you don't mind, I'd love to learn a little bit about your background because it's truly impressive.
- 1:05SPEAKER_00: I mean, you have such great training and such uh so much experience in the field of plastic surgery.
- 1:10SPEAKER_00: If you could give us a little walk down memory lane, maybe and tell us about yourself.
- 1:14SPEAKER_01: Oh, for for sure.
- 1:15SPEAKER_01: It's been uh uh definitely exciting and definitely a little bit of of travel for sure.
- 1:19SPEAKER_01: And so I'm a uh board-certified plastic surgeon and uh did my medical school here in in Texas and then went to St.
- 1:25SPEAKER_01: Louis for residency and then had the opportunity to actually uh travel abroad.
- 1:29SPEAKER_01: I did these many fellowships in uh Taiwan, Belgium, and then did an aesthetic fellowship in Miami and uh stayed there for for a couple years.
- 1:36SPEAKER_01: It was uh a lot of fun, great for training, probably not great from my longevity of of living on on Miami Beach for too long, and then uh you know, got the chance to come back to to Texas and uh uh started my own practice about seven years ago and been super fortunate.
- 1:53SPEAKER_01: Uh um, you know, we've extended expanded to almost uh uh 90 employees, three locations, and uh no question, wellness and and weight loss has been a huge part of that expansion.
- 2:02SPEAKER_01: So um, you know, you know, part of part of our personal journey of of uh integrating with softwave was, you know, how are we helping those patients that have, and I've personally lived it, I've I've lost about 90 pounds over the last uh two years these medications.
- 2:17SPEAKER_01: And so some of it was from a selfish endeavor of what do I do with a little bit of skin laxity on my neck and tummy and those type of things.
- 2:24SPEAKER_01: And so probably some other areas too, but those are the ones I can see, so I worry about them.
- 2:28SPEAKER_01: Um, you know, and so uh, you know, how how can we treat that?
- 2:32SPEAKER_01: Because I felt like a lot of the patients were having the same, you know, journey and and and you know, challenges that I was.
- 2:38SPEAKER_00: Yeah, no, that's really fascinating.
- 2:40SPEAKER_00: I mean, that you can speak from a personal stance because I I really think that sometimes with aesthetics, it becomes very hard to understand because maybe doctors haven't experienced it personally, or it's just hard to explain, you know, a lot of times.
- 2:53SPEAKER_00: I've I've encountered that a lot, you know, when I'm trying to inquire about new techniques and new innovations in the space.
- 2:59SPEAKER_00: But I I just want to start off by understanding what exactly is Softwave, if you can explain to us, and what does it do?
- 3:05SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's pretty interesting.
- 3:07SPEAKER_01: And in Softwave actually has become a platform at first.
- 3:10SPEAKER_01: It was Softwave, which was a uh purely skin tightening device.
- 3:14SPEAKER_01: It was an ultrasound device, which isn't necessarily new to the skin tightening and innovation world, but it's really how it's developed these beams and the levels of which they target uh that that energy that has been super unique.
- 3:27SPEAKER_01: And so I think uh uh a couple of the unique innovations for softwave is that you know it's it's a more focused uh parallel beam uh ultrasound uh that really hits a very specific layer in the skin to maximize the skin tightening without causing damage to other tissues, and then while also trying to uh cool the skin at the same time so to make it as comfortable as possible for for patients.
- 3:49SPEAKER_01: So they've they've basically have taken technology that's been out for for for years and kind of refocused it in a way that that is more controlled, uh more beneficial.
- 3:59SPEAKER_01: And and and it's one of the things that's been interesting, even as a plastic surgeon, is how our understanding of anatomy continues to get better, even in this world of of technology and AI and everything else.
- 4:10SPEAKER_01: So uh, you know, they they've really done a lot of work and innovation to kind of make this more efficient for patients.
- 4:17SPEAKER_00: That's so cool.
- 4:18SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I mean, I think you know, it's always interesting, like you know, with human anatomy, I always wonder we are the greatest machine, you know, at the end of the day.
- 4:25SPEAKER_00: So the more we learn about the human body, the more I guess innovation stems from that because it's it's just like layers upon layers of just not first we don't know, and then as we find out, you know, the technology really adapts to it, which is very interesting to me because plastic surgery, I think people have this misconception from the individuals I've spoken to, where you know, you just get a procedure done and that's it.
- 4:46SPEAKER_00: And but no one really talks about like maintenance or anything.
- 4:49SPEAKER_00: So do you think software falls under that maintenance category?
- 4:53SPEAKER_01: I think it's a little bit of both categories.
- 4:55SPEAKER_01: You know, I would definitely say, you know, if if we went back a few years, I would definitely put it in the the maintenance category or or maybe people who are just trying to avoid surgery, but you know, we have this whole unique new, and and I call it the osemplification of uh aesthetics because you have all these really young patients now with with skin laxity and and and uh volume issues and stuff, and in the type of issues and problems and concerns that we typically saw in our more mature patients.
- 5:22SPEAKER_01: And now you have these 20, 30-year-olds that have uh lost some weight, they got a little bit of skin laxity, and you know, it's still hard for us to offer them a facelift or tummy tuck when they're so young.
- 5:31SPEAKER_01: And so, you know, I think softwave has is been a solution for a lot of these patients that are at a point in their life that they're not really ready for surgery.
- 5:39SPEAKER_01: I think for us as surgeons, it's hard to offer them surgery at this point.
- 5:43SPEAKER_01: And so, you know, I think uh it used to be for maintenance and now it's it's a bridge.
- 5:47SPEAKER_01: Uh for some of them, it is the treatment, uh, you know, for them because they they're young, they still have good skin, they've just lost a little weight.
- 5:54SPEAKER_01: And and it's interesting, those those patients are actually extremely, extremely responsive to these type of energy devices because they still have a a lot of collagen, a lot of elastin that they can be really responsive to these energy devices.
- 6:07SPEAKER_01: And so it's been super successful as the treatment for them.
- 6:11SPEAKER_00: Oh, wow.
- 6:12SPEAKER_00: So, in terms of like the best candidates, like who who's truly in that demographic, you know, that you would see as like this is the kind of like the ideal candidate for this.
- 6:20SPEAKER_01: Um Yeah, I think I think to to really be transparent is is I know a lot of your listeners uh really really trust you and and and trust the guests you bring on, is you know, want to make it super clear to them that you know, our technology still isn't to a point where this is a replacement for a face and necklift, right?
- 6:35SPEAKER_01: If somebody needs a face and necklift and they just have a lot, you know, significant amount of of loose skin, you know, then then they're they they may still need the surgical uh conversation.
- 6:44SPEAKER_01: But I think for patients that just have a slight amount or moderate amount of skin laxity, or they just know that, like, hey, I'm not ready for surgery, I think those are the the great patients for it.
- 6:53SPEAKER_01: I think what's really, really unique about softwave is it's safe in all skin types.
- 6:58SPEAKER_01: So whether uh you have a lot of pigment in your skin or not, this is an option for you.
- 7:02SPEAKER_01: Uh, the really nice thing for a lot of us that are running around and busy and those type of things, there's actually really very minimal downtime.
- 7:09SPEAKER_01: You may have a little bit of redness to your skin, but uh for most people, you can go back to work that that afternoon that next day.
- 7:16SPEAKER_00: Wow, that's really fascinating.
- 7:17SPEAKER_00: I mean, I think that you know, for me, it's always interesting to see like how these these uh treatments really work because uh skin laxity.
- 7:25SPEAKER_00: I mean, I just want to like go back a little bit.
- 7:27SPEAKER_00: Can you go a little deeper into what is really behind skin laxity issues?
- 7:32SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I I think uh no question, skin laxity is just is is some loose skin.
- 7:37SPEAKER_01: And you know, some of it is really hard to predict.
- 7:41SPEAKER_01: And we have a lot of patients that ask us about it, and no question, people can get loose skin from all sorts of different reasons.
- 7:46SPEAKER_01: One of the most common is weight loss.
- 7:48SPEAKER_01: And and I'll tell you the the thing that that's challenging is uh when we're we're 20 years old, our our skin tends to bounce back for most of us, not for everybody, because everybody's skin is just a little bit different, you know, just like some of us are tall, some of us are short, you know, uh uh some of us have different color hair and so forth like that.
- 8:06SPEAKER_01: You know, we have different kinds of uh elastin and thickness to our our skin and how responsive we are.
- 8:10SPEAKER_01: But no question, weight loss is something that can cause skin laxity or loose skin.
- 8:15SPEAKER_01: Uh we definitely see it after uh pregnancy and different hormonal changes.
- 8:20SPEAKER_01: Uh we can see that for sure.
- 8:22SPEAKER_01: Uh other areas that sometimes people see it is, you know, if you're a little bit more mature person like myself in terms of age, see both men and women having skin laxity issues.
- 8:31SPEAKER_01: And uh it used to be something we just associated with the older, older or more mature patients.
- 8:36SPEAKER_01: And uh, you know, with now all the weight loss medications and so forth and things out there, uh, that's not true anymore.
- 8:42SPEAKER_01: We we see the spectrum of people in their 20s all the way up to their uh 60s, 70s.
- 8:46SPEAKER_01: The other kind of thing that's interesting is that you know, we get a lot of patients coming in and saying, you know, well, might am I too old to to do a treatment or to care about this?
- 8:55SPEAKER_01: But honestly, we have so many patients that are are living longer and living better.
- 9:00SPEAKER_01: And so, you know, I mean, in and uh, you know, so I I think that's changed as well because of, you know, just the way life is.
- 9:08SPEAKER_01: Uh uh sometimes it takes people a little bit of time to be able to take care of themselves because they're worried about their their kids and family members and other things like that.
- 9:16SPEAKER_01: And so um, you know, I I think there's definitely people that are being super active, much older into life, and and no question, you know, do do it would make you feel good.
- 9:26SPEAKER_00: Absolutely.
- 9:26SPEAKER_00: No, I couldn't agree more, especially now we have all this buzzer on longevity and the science of longevity.
- 9:31SPEAKER_00: So, yeah, definitely people are definitely living longer and more robust lives.
- 9:35SPEAKER_00: So it's definitely it's gonna be an issue that you deal with at some point, you know.
- 9:39SPEAKER_00: Uh oh, no question.
- 9:40SPEAKER_01: It's just a matter of when.
- 9:41SPEAKER_01: And and there's definitely some good things that you can do to help decrease that.
- 9:45SPEAKER_01: And we definitely tell people, especially something like Softwave, the sooner you can get started, the more you're gonna respond to it, the better you're gonna do.
- 9:53SPEAKER_01: Because the the problem is if you just wait too long to do things, then you may be may even pass the tipping point of where something like Softwave, as great as it is, is going to be able to help you because there is a limit to the amount of loose skin that you can have before it it really helps.
- 10:07SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 10:08SPEAKER_01: So it's almost like preventative, then also in many ways.
- 10:11SPEAKER_01: Uh and no question.
- 10:12SPEAKER_01: And in for a lot of our patients that are on their weight loss journey, you know, we'll actually refer to it as like uh uh Ozempic prevention and treatment plan.
- 10:20SPEAKER_01: Because if you know that you're losing weight, and it's the one thing in my personal journey, if I could change anything, I would have started my treatment sooner, uh, and not wait until I got so close to my goal weight, because then it it takes because then you're you're super excited about the weight you've lost and how you feel, and you're like, Well, I'm waiting for my skin to catch up.
- 10:37SPEAKER_01: And so if I could have been a little bit more proactive about it, I think it would have been uh it's something I would have changed personally.
- 10:43SPEAKER_00: How long does it take to see sustained results with softwave?
- 10:47SPEAKER_01: Uh, most people, it takes at least six weeks to see kind of your full results, but usually people will get better for a couple months.
- 10:55SPEAKER_00: I see.
- 10:56SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 10:56SPEAKER_00: So, in comparison to like, because I know that people have, I mean, I've had friends in the past who've lost like uh, you know, a huge amount of weight, right?
- 11:03SPEAKER_00: Because of health reasons.
- 11:05SPEAKER_00: And and so seeing their journey with just you know the skin catching up, as you mentioned earlier, I know it can be a very long process.
- 11:13SPEAKER_00: You know, that's that's very, very hard.
- 11:15SPEAKER_00: And sometimes you have to go through surgery to fix that.
- 11:18SPEAKER_00: But I mean, in comparison, would you say it's like it's accelerated using softwave?
- 11:24SPEAKER_00: I mean, for for certain patients, or what what have you seen a difference?
- 11:28SPEAKER_00: Is my question, really?
- 11:29SPEAKER_01: Oh, I I mean, we've seen a pretty dramatic difference in terms of uh people's results using uh softwave.
- 11:36SPEAKER_01: Uh, no question uh about that.
- 11:38SPEAKER_01: And uh I think it maybe alluded to it a little bit earlier too, especially our younger patients that have some some loose skin because of weight loss or other medical issues stuff, they have uh uh some really thick dermis, elastic stuff, and they have responded extraordinarily uh well to it.
- 11:55SPEAKER_01: And so I think this is to your point earlier, the the the sooner you can get started, you know, uh whether you want to call it maintenance or preventative or uh, you know, just being proactive in in your skincare, uh, I think it can be extremely, extremely helpful.
- 12:09SPEAKER_00: So, what is the real like science behind this doc?
- 12:12SPEAKER_00: Because like I feel like it's hard to understand, right?
- 12:15SPEAKER_00: In terms of like what is the body doing that's um or what what is this eliciting that's causing this, you know, the skin tightening benefits of this treatment.
- 12:25SPEAKER_01: I mean, if you could walk us through the science of it, it's it's basically the the energy that it's applying.
- 12:30SPEAKER_01: So it's basically like a heat and energy that's applying what what's uh challenging and and the innovative science about this is how do you apply this this heat or this energy to the underlying structures?
- 12:42SPEAKER_01: Because what you want to do is it's basically controlled control trauma to the deeper uh layers of the skin without burning or damaging the superficial layers.
- 12:51SPEAKER_01: And so that's what the science is, is is how that these unique ultrasound beams can target a certain depth below the top layers of your skin and then basically cause these little controlled injuries at these uh precise levels of of the deepest layers of your skin to cause that skin to contract.
- 13:09SPEAKER_01: And so it basically gets it to shrink in.
- 13:11SPEAKER_01: But if you think about it, if it's causing it to shrink at micro portions, you know, throughout your entire face, those micro portions kind of shrink in, you know, throughout the face leads to to much larger changes.
- 13:22SPEAKER_01: And so that's always been the challenge.
- 13:24SPEAKER_01: And we've always known that that energy and heat and these type of things can cause skin to contract and shrink, but you know, the the challenge has always been how do you apply enough to see a meaningful difference without damaging the the superficial layers of the skin, especially something that that you can do with all types of skin types, and that's really been some of the the technological breakthroughs of softwave is being able to apply that energy to the deeper layers of the skin to get all these microcontractions throughout the entire face, buttock, thighs, uh so forth to lead to a meaningful change for them.
- 13:57SPEAKER_00: Wow, that's really fascinating.
- 13:59SPEAKER_00: That's really, really cool.
- 14:00SPEAKER_00: I mean, I I would love to like do a deeper dive, you know, on my own time and just figure out like what's going on because I just find it so fascinating that you know we've come up with these solutions.
- 14:09SPEAKER_00: I mean, it's crazy to think 10 years ago there wasn't something like this, and now we have a solution.
- 14:15SPEAKER_01: So new question.
- 14:16SPEAKER_01: I think that's some of the things that that technology is getting so much better at and what some of the newer devices is how can you really be so precise about the energy where you're delivering it.
- 14:27SPEAKER_01: And this is where I think some of the the AI stuff is going to help us be even better about this, right?
- 14:32SPEAKER_01: Because you, me, you know, your your million listeners out there, all of us have a little bit of differences in our skin.
- 14:38SPEAKER_01: And there's actually some some technology, you know, uh uh being developed currently that that actually can use some of these ultrasound imaging things to actually measure, see where the blood vessels are, see the levels of your skin, and then actually, you know, make micro uh changes to the depth, to the energy that is just personalized to to your skin stuff.
- 14:58SPEAKER_01: So, I mean, I think that's going to be some of the new iterations over the next couple of years that we're gonna see that where even little micro changes can make bigger differences because you're really getting to the exact area that that's most beneficial for that personalized person.
- 15:12SPEAKER_00: Right, right.
- 15:13SPEAKER_00: That's yeah, it's really fascinating.
- 15:15SPEAKER_00: And I want to actually learn.
- 15:16SPEAKER_00: So uh I know another thing.
- 15:18SPEAKER_00: So, what is pure impact?
- 15:21SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's something that I've been super excited about is as well.
- 15:25SPEAKER_01: And and one of the things that's been very interesting, and and uh, you know, kudos to Softway for doing this, uh, you know, in this day and age of of I feel all the industry trying to develop more capital devices for uh for aesthetic practices to to buy, and then which unfortunately leads to more expense for for patients and people listening out there.
- 15:43SPEAKER_01: But you know, uh the really cool thing about it is that Pure Impact is is basically a plug-in or these these devices that can work off the same softwave platform.
- 15:53SPEAKER_01: What's really unique about it, it's not the it's an ESTEM, so electrical stimulation, and so there's been other like magnetic stimulations and so forth out there that help stimulate muscle contraction.
- 16:03SPEAKER_01: And so, you know, but this is really like a fourth generation of it.
- 16:06SPEAKER_01: And what's really unique and and cool about the technology of what they've done is, you know, some of their team has really looked at all the different exercises, these plyometric exercises that we do at the gym.
- 16:18SPEAKER_01: And you can now actually set the device to go through these different exercises.
- 16:23SPEAKER_01: And so instead of just kind of mass stimulating your muscles, it actually cycles you through the different workouts depending at the level of which you're at.
- 16:31SPEAKER_01: And so if you're looking at abdominal muscles, it can actually fire the top portions of your muscles, the uh the obliques, the lower portion of your rectus in a very like precise and controlled manner that actually stimulates the different exercises that you would do at a gym.
- 16:46SPEAKER_01: So, you know, and obviously it does it for the different body parts arms, uh, buttock, quads, uh, hamstrings, but uh super, super innovative that rather than just trying to, you know, stimulate your muscles a mass into a fatigue, is it you're actually doing them in a way that stimulates what you would do at the gym, uh uh with very you know challenging exercises.
- 17:07SPEAKER_01: So that is super neat.
- 17:09SPEAKER_00: Wow, yeah, that sounds really cool.
- 17:11SPEAKER_00: So, what is like I mean, muscle toning, I feel like is it it's been discussed a lot, you know, in this aesthetic space, but like I'm curious, what is what's the differentiating factor here from other treatments that you've seen?
- 17:22SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I think that's that's the I think there's there's two parts to this.
- 17:25SPEAKER_01: There's there's the timing and there's the kind of the acceptance, and then there's the the technology.
- 17:30SPEAKER_01: So, you know, from the technology standpoint, I think the idea that that we can be so precise in terms of these because it is individual patches that you can control and and really uh I think some of it is is technology catching up to like what we're trying to do.
- 17:46SPEAKER_01: You know, the idea that the computer system can, you know, make these pulses fire at such a rapid and and controlled sequence that it can mimic the exercises so that the the the computer can actually be like, okay, this this part of the muscle, this side of the muscle, and then that muscle all fire, you know, one millisecond, you know, next to each other to kind of, and when you feel it, you actually feel like you're doing a certain exercise, which is is mind-blowing and something you'd have to really experience.
- 18:13SPEAKER_01: But if if you can kind of imagine that, like you're trying to do kind of a sideworth crunch, you can simulate simulate that.
- 18:20SPEAKER_01: But I think the the the other part and the reason that this has been so uh impactful by Pure Impact is that with with a lot of patients being on these weight loss journeys, they've seen some of the data stuff that that you know, a lot of people when they're on these weight loss journeys, about a third of their their weight loss is muscle mass.
- 18:38SPEAKER_01: And so, you know, a lot of patients that that are kind of turning into this overall wellness and fitness lifestyle, you know, one, it's it's there's the skin laxia that they can see, but they're also trying to, you know, they look better, they feel better, they want to enhance that.
- 18:51SPEAKER_01: And so I think you know, they know that that a muscle is a big portion of them continuing to to burn calories, to lose weight, and just feel strong and better about that.
- 18:59SPEAKER_01: And so, you know, the fact that it's become such a a public topic and something that I think patients have become much more aware of.
- 19:06SPEAKER_01: I mean, you know, because of podcasts like this and and other technology and and information out there, I feel like patients have become much more savvy.
- 19:14SPEAKER_01: And so they they know that these are some of the side effects of of some of their medications and and weight loss stuff.
- 19:19SPEAKER_01: And so, you know, they're looking for solutions and and ideas like this that can patients can come in.
- 19:24SPEAKER_01: I've done the the Pure Impact and Softway stuff myself.
- 19:27SPEAKER_01: I'll tell you, when I do the treatments, I feel it the next day.
- 19:30SPEAKER_01: And so, you know, I think that is is uh what resonates with patients because they try it and they're like, oh wow, you know, this really did, you know, get me just as sore, or if not more, than than I do at the gym.
- 19:40SPEAKER_01: So I think that's been been what's resonated so well with them.
- 19:43SPEAKER_00: That's so cool.
- 19:44SPEAKER_00: I that's just so I'm sorry, that's so fascinating to me because I absolutely hate going to the gym.
- 19:49SPEAKER_00: So like I'm not gonna lie, I really when you're targeting a muscle group, it's like the most annoying thing when it's not working, you know, and you're hitting the gym over and over again and it's not really resulting in what you want, you know.
- 20:00SPEAKER_00: So it's really cool to see that there's something that can still stimulate muscle groups like that, you know, and and have those effects.
- 20:06SPEAKER_00: So I mean that's very fascinating.
- 20:07SPEAKER_01: And and and the fact that like they, you know, and they've released a bunch of exercises that it's doing, they have more to come.
- 20:14SPEAKER_01: And so the idea is that you can, you know, that the day I don't think is far away and is as much uh they're so committed, you know, the the softwave team with with pure impact of really being able to personalize the this gym workout through it.
- 20:29SPEAKER_01: And that's why we have loved it so much, is because you know, it's more than just like, hey, we're just gonna stimulate this muscle till it gets tired and then you know, hope that works for you.
- 20:38SPEAKER_01: The idea that you can actually, you know, be like their personal trainer in terms of doing these very specific exercises, I think has been huge and key and so unique to them versus other things out there.
- 20:50SPEAKER_00: There, like a limit to like how many a week or like you know, how does that work in terms of designing that plan for a patient?
- 20:56SPEAKER_00: Like this is how many treatments you need, you know.
- 20:58SPEAKER_01: There is is sort of just like regular working out.
- 21:01SPEAKER_01: You can overfatigue a muscle because you want to fatigue it, you want to really stress it, but you also have to give it a chance to recover.
- 21:08SPEAKER_01: So typically with like a pure impact, most people will do, you know, uh four treatments in in a two-week period, and then uh you can kind of do do it to a portion.
- 21:19SPEAKER_01: Most people will do it once a month or so, each muscle group to supplement their current workouts.
- 21:25SPEAKER_01: There are people that are either rehabbing or recovering from surgery, other things that will do it more often for sure.
- 21:31SPEAKER_01: Uh, but definitely something you want to be guided by your provider uh uh a little bit because you can you like anything, it you know, things are great in moderation, but you also do have to give those muscles time to recover and heal to to improve.
- 21:44SPEAKER_01: If you just constantly fatigue them, at some point it's gonna be diminishing return and actually keep you from making improvements.
- 21:53SPEAKER_01: That's the same thing we see with with soft wave, you know, is is that you know we wanna and some of it is we wanna be conscious of of people's you know uh uh money and and time and stuff like that.
- 22:04SPEAKER_01: So you know we typically push people give give things at least you know three to six months.
- 22:08SPEAKER_01: Let's see where you're at and then decide where to to go from there so uh that that they're getting a good use of their their resources.
- 22:15SPEAKER_00: That's really really interesting.
- 22:16SPEAKER_00: And I'm I'm curious to see like you know because so many people I know the new year is coming around and everyone's you know biggest resolution is I want to lose weight this year.
- 22:25SPEAKER_00: You know, so like I feel like it's good to understand what's out there that can help you you know in your journey and really like understanding what comes with weight loss too, right?
- 22:34SPEAKER_00: I mean I find that I find it to be interesting from that angle because a lot of times we go into things without understanding what's going to come as a result.
- 22:42SPEAKER_00: And I know with Ozempic on the rise, I don't think anyone really anticipated all of the different, you know, like I guess you could say the downstream you know problems that you're facing with like you know loss of volume like you mentioned and all that.
- 22:55SPEAKER_00: I mean it's it's just something you don't anticipate.
- 22:57SPEAKER_01: So it's really good that you're you know you're able to use this as a preventative measure as well, you know, and you're able to kind of plan ahead um by incorporating these different techniques in 100% and in uh to your point too most people don't don't think uh uh about it as well if you're really trying to look great for your you know uh spring break season or summer bod, uh this is the time to do it because uh you talked about it earlier it does take a couple of months to see the full results from from some of these treatments especially something like a Pure Impact that people are going to need to do multiple treatments or you know soft wave that that may take a couple of months.
- 23:32SPEAKER_01: You know I I think people forget that these winter months are the time if you want to uh you know try and improve some things for for bikini season because uh if you wait till the summer or or the week before you know an event and and I'm sure you've talked about it before on your show but you know that it's the week before your wedding's not the time to to try some new treatments and so plan ahead is definitely super helpful.
- 23:55SPEAKER_00: Absolutely yeah no I'm glad you mentioned that but I mean this is really cool though and I really hope anyone tuning in if you guys have tried softwave or or peer impact please let us know chime in and you know add to the discussion but you know this has been so fascinating.
