- 0:44Speaker 2: campaign and obviously it's a six month campaign that we
- 0:46Speaker 2: run over our low season and tracks for shows from
- 0:49Speaker 2: right across the country in the world. So here we go,
- 0:51Speaker 2: ready to ready to rock and roll again.
- 0:53Speaker 1: It's always fantastic and it does create such a buzz.
- 0:56Speaker 1: Everybody gets well, everyone loves to get out there and
- 0:58Speaker 1: go fishing anyway, but it's been so successful despite the
- 1:03Speaker 1: fact we haven't actually been able to give away that
- 1:05Speaker 1: million dollar fishsh.
- 1:08Speaker 2: No, you're right, and to think that last year we
- 1:10Speaker 2: received over thirty eight thousand registrations, which is which is
- 1:15Speaker 2: incredible to be honest, and contributes you know, I tack
- 1:17Speaker 2: over forty million dollars into economy every year from from
- 1:20Speaker 2: a stimulus perspective. You're right, it is. It's an amazing
- 1:23Speaker 2: it's an amazing tournament and we have big thanks to
- 1:26Speaker 2: our partners in sports Bet that we're in. Obviously the
- 1:29Speaker 2: early stages of planning with the later end of this
- 1:31Speaker 2: season looks like and the ideas are flowing thick and fast.
- 1:34Speaker 2: They want to be on board. They want to be
- 1:35Speaker 2: on board for a long time. They want to they
- 1:36Speaker 2: want to keep going. So, looking as cross we can
- 1:38Speaker 2: give away one of those the million dollar tags this
- 1:40Speaker 2: year's that's the go love that love showing that kind
- 1:44Speaker 2: of cash. That'll be amazing.

- 1:57Speaker 2: dollar Fish dot com. Do you go through the prime
- 2:00Speaker 2: and make sure your details are in there. As of
- 2:02Speaker 2: October one, this season is live, so you can't effectively
- 2:07Speaker 2: bring in any tags prior to that October one period.
- 2:10Speaker 2: Once that's live, the guys will be working there butts
- 2:13Speaker 2: off this month to make sure that all the fish
- 2:15Speaker 2: are out there and tags through all the five regions
- 2:17Speaker 2: of the Northern Territory where you can catch them ready
- 2:20Speaker 2: to go for October one. Let's see if we can
- 2:22Speaker 2: see if we can bring some in.
- 2:24Speaker 1: I reckon that everybody listening this morning would like to
- 2:27Speaker 1: catch the million dollar fish. But anyway, whether they do
- 2:30Speaker 1: or not, now mate, I know that it's not the
- 2:35Speaker 1: only thing happening. Hundreds of car enthusiasts are making the
- 2:38Speaker 1: pilgrimage to the heart of the country, Central Australia for
- 2:41Speaker 1: the Red Center NATZ. How's it all looking in Alice.
- 2:44Speaker 2: Yeah it is, and that's where we want a bit
- 2:46Speaker 2: scattered apologies this morning, Katie. We're here. It's wet unfortunately,
- 2:50Speaker 2: believe it or not. But look we're ready to kick
- 2:52Speaker 2: it all off tomorrow. We've had over a thousand car registration,
- 2:55Speaker 2: which is phenomenal and it's not even the weekend yet,
- 2:58Speaker 2: so this is going to be the biggest Red set
- 3:01Speaker 2: and ats that we've had to date. We've added a
- 3:03Speaker 2: drag program, so we've got the top few your guys
- 3:05Speaker 2: down here that those around supercars in Jurns saw so
- 3:10Speaker 2: they're the premiere fastest cars on the planet really, so
- 3:13Speaker 2: they're doing their thing. And and what we do with
- 3:16Speaker 2: our friends that made a vehicles allow temporary registrations for
- 3:19Speaker 2: those modified cars to close the streets of ALUs. So
- 3:21Speaker 2: looking forward to kind of kicking it all off come
- 3:24Speaker 2: come tomorrow. It's gonna be amazing weekend ahead.
- 3:26Speaker 1: How exciting. And I know that people absolutely love the
- 3:30Speaker 1: Red Center and that it's plenty of people around.
- 3:32Speaker 2: Yeah, there are, it's full. The town is literally full.
- 3:36Speaker 2: This is kind of the first year we've explored camping
- 3:39Speaker 2: in much more of a serious scale. So the guys
- 3:42Speaker 2: that buffet scud are set up an area there, but
- 3:43Speaker 2: Scott Park for those that don't know it just one
- 3:46Speaker 2: of our event sites camping, so you can actually camp
- 3:48Speaker 2: overnight just because they're literally out of hotel room. So look,
- 3:51Speaker 2: it's a good thing for the town, amazing thing for
- 3:53Speaker 2: the town. This is an event that really truly brings
- 3:56Speaker 2: people from all corners. The postcode report that we've seen
- 4:00Speaker 2: over previous years. They come from everywhere, so it's and
- 4:04Speaker 2: it's a really good vibe as well. The street crews
- 4:06Speaker 2: that we do on Saturday afternoon right through the center
- 4:09Speaker 2: of town is pretty special. A lot of families and
- 4:12Speaker 2: a lot of curR enthusiasts. Like you said, get out
- 4:14Speaker 2: and about the support this event and it's you know,
- 4:16Speaker 2: it's one we've got for another four years as well,
- 4:18Speaker 2: which is which is great. It's a big things to
- 4:20Speaker 2: the government are supporting this one for its growth and
- 4:22Speaker 2: you know it's almost almost two big boots now. We
- 4:24Speaker 2: want to try and work out how do we how
- 4:26Speaker 2: do we can make this get more people here for
- 4:28Speaker 2: next year. That's our biggest challenge.
- 4:30Speaker 1: Hey, before I'll let you go, I understand that there's
- 4:32Speaker 1: a bit happening when it comes to the NBL as well.
- 4:36Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, there is the leting on on, Katie've be
- 4:39Speaker 3: honest in our world. We've got the Blitz coming up
- 4:43Speaker 3: next month, which we're sorry this month now, so two
- 4:45Speaker 3: weeks tomorrow it all kicks off at a Darwin Basketball
- 4:49Speaker 3: Center and it's well, tickets are moving quick. I would
- 4:52Speaker 3: encourage everyone to get on line and look through the challenge.
- 4:55Speaker 2: The channels on NBL dot com dot au. It's it's
- 4:58Speaker 2: literally every team playing premier games and they're in their
- 5:03Speaker 2: preseason competition. Now. This is hosted stars that have continued
- 5:06Speaker 2: on to the NBA in the past, and then they'll
- 5:09Speaker 2: be here for the full week doing what they do.
- 5:11Speaker 2: But look, has been stated publicly, it's a proof of
- 5:15Speaker 2: concept to potentially the end of the territory. You're owning
- 5:17Speaker 2: a basketball team as well. So that's been said quite
- 5:20Speaker 2: loudly by the guys at the NBL. So we're hoping
- 5:22Speaker 2: that everyone kind of votes to their feet and gets
- 5:25Speaker 2: out there and supports them and tells the NBL that,
- 5:27Speaker 2: you know, we should have a team next and then
- 5:30Speaker 2: we'll back that up and work our hardest to make
- 5:31Speaker 2: sure that becomes reality.
- 5:33Speaker 1: Well, mate, let's catch up again once that that comp
- 5:36Speaker 1: gets underway in two weeks time. It is always good
- 5:39Speaker 1: to catch up with you. Tim Watsford. I don't know
- 5:41Speaker 1: if you ever sleep, mate, because you seem to be
- 5:42Speaker 1: at absolutely everything the rest of the major events day.
- 5:49Speaker 1: Thank you,
