Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: The play is in Confused. Podcast is rated M for
- 0:03Speaker 1: marijuana no minors, but your audience is only.
- 0:08Speaker 2: I gotta tell you one thing that I don't like
- 0:10Speaker 2: about being someone that happens to consume marijuana. I don't
- 0:13Speaker 2: know if this pops up in your life too, but
- 0:15Speaker 2: everybody's got something to say to it. Like I was
- 0:17Speaker 2: at a work event yesterday and very casually, a coworker goes, Joe,
- 0:21Speaker 2: did you break any weed?
- 0:23Speaker 1: Excuse me? What am I?
- 0:25Speaker 2: The walking dispensary? Is that everywhere I go I have
- 0:27Speaker 2: weed just ready to go for anybody like you. People
- 0:29Speaker 2: need a reminder. I never smoke weed and go in
- 0:31Speaker 2: the radio. I never smoke weed in DJ anything. I
- 0:34Speaker 2: never smoke weedn't do anything professionally. I never smoke weed
- 0:37Speaker 2: and drive a car. I'm very sober most of the time,
- 0:40Speaker 2: but I let loose wedden.
- 0:41Speaker 1: You're out? I want to Yes, Yeah, it's so annoying.
- 0:44Speaker 1: It's also not nineteen ninety one, like you can go
- 0:46Speaker 1: to a place and get it. It's not like they're
- 0:48Speaker 1: the only guy in the in the three county area
- 0:50Speaker 1: that has something they kind of miss, you know, going
- 0:54Speaker 1: to a guy to get it, you know, what I mean,
- 0:55Speaker 1: I kind of missed those days. I mean going to you. Yeah, yeah,
- 0:57Speaker 1: I was like my guys in the room less anyway,
- 1:03Speaker 1: what was I saying before that? What were you saying
- 1:06Speaker 1: before that? Oh? The stigma about being in the weed smoker.
- 1:09Speaker 1: So when I go to my family parties, like my
- 1:11Speaker 1: aunt'll come up and be like, you got some wet yee?
- 1:14Speaker 2: That's different though, that's different. They're like joking yesterday, they're like,
- 1:17Speaker 2: a Joel, got any weed? My family does that too,
- 1:21Speaker 2: do you have any alcohol? Like exactly exactly when I
- 1:25Speaker 2: officiated my aunt's wedding.
- 1:27Speaker 1: I don't know if I've ever told her.
- 1:28Speaker 2: Story on the podcast, but I officiated my aunt's wedding
- 1:31Speaker 2: like what a year ago now a little over a
- 1:33Speaker 2: year ago, and when I had like the consult with
- 1:35Speaker 2: her and her now husband. At the end of the call,
- 1:39Speaker 2: very awkwardly, she tells me essentially that she doesn't want
- 1:42Speaker 2: me smoking weed at her wedding. But the way was
- 1:45Speaker 2: the way she worded it. She was like, I know
- 1:47Speaker 2: you and Billy, who's my cousin's boyfriend.
- 1:50Speaker 1: I know you guys like to like partake in the
- 1:53Speaker 1: other party favors. But I would just ask you don't
- 1:56Speaker 1: do it at my web.
- 1:57Speaker 2: Part of me is offended because you really think that
- 1:59Speaker 2: I would smoke weed and then officiate your wedding.
- 2:02Speaker 1: You really think I would do that? No, don't come
- 2:04Speaker 1: on maybe a little bit before just to like, no, no,
- 2:08Speaker 1: I don't know that. He's one of the guys that
- 2:11Speaker 1: he does not do that. To calm himself down, he
- 2:14Speaker 1: is like very professional about it, like a professional very much. Yeah,
- 2:17Speaker 1: thank you very much. Sorry, I'm looking at a squirrel's
- 2:20Speaker 1: butthole right now. Oh, that happens a lot up here.
- 2:22Speaker 1: It's always in that same he always reasons for that.
- 2:25Speaker 1: This guy is in trouble. It looks like he's in trouble. No,
- 2:28Speaker 1: he's fine. He was on like the weakest branch for
- 2:31Speaker 1: a moment. They call these apartments the treehouse apartment. Yeah,
- 2:34Speaker 1: because you're like in the trees and you can see
- 2:36Speaker 1: squirrel butts. There's two different, two different birds out there
- 2:40Speaker 1: right now, and the squirrel. It's nice. Why hasn't the
- 2:43Speaker 1: tree turned into a tree yet? Though? You know what
- 2:46Speaker 1: I mean to do a national geographic right now? Well,
- 2:48Speaker 1: but the trees looking disappointing. This tree should be treeing
- 2:51Speaker 1: right now.
- 2:51Speaker 2: And it's not. There's not a lot of leaves. It's
- 2:53Speaker 2: just a lot of boring sticks. It looks like it
- 2:55Speaker 2: like it's already looks like fall. You know, when does
- 2:59Speaker 2: a tree actually tree. I'm saying it's almost the season.
- 3:03Speaker 1: Look look further in the distance than the one tree
- 3:06Speaker 1: in front of you. There's getting green. Oh yeah, there's
- 3:08Speaker 1: a bunch of green getting green. You think, yeah, it's
- 3:11Speaker 1: whenever the township gets to it. You know, they put
- 3:13Speaker 1: up the leaves in a few months, they put up
- 3:16Speaker 1: the Christmas lights, and then they take those down in
- 3:19Speaker 1: February because they're lazy, and then you know they're just
- 3:22Speaker 1: they're getting around to the leaves. Ben Youngerman, episode forty
- 3:26Speaker 1: seven years. What episode was on before people are I
- 3:30Speaker 1: think it was like episode five. It was a while ago. Yeah,
- 3:33Speaker 1: because you're almost irregular, you got to do one more. Yeah,
- 3:36Speaker 1: I feel like now I'm just a repeat but not
- 3:38Speaker 1: a regular yet. You said last week that you listen
- 3:41Speaker 1: back and you could hear a bird chirping. Yeah. Oops,
- 3:44Speaker 1: it's okay. That is the one problem with this studio apartment.
- 3:48Speaker 2: Like it's one big open room and there's a you know,
- 3:49Speaker 2: a big ceiling, so the sound just kind of like
- 3:52Speaker 2: bounces everywhere.
- 3:52Speaker 1: Keep calling it a studio apartment, It's it's a loft, yeah,
- 3:55Speaker 1: but it's still one open room. I guess you're right.
- 3:58Speaker 1: I don't consider it a studio though. Studio with a loft, yeah,
- 4:01Speaker 1: studio loft, Yeah, they called them loft apartments. Yeah, I
- 4:06Speaker 1: have to burb go ahead. I felt like that was
- 4:12Speaker 1: gonna be better, and it wasn't. Not impressive. Okay, it's
- 4:15Speaker 1: because I'm drinking beer, all right. Anyway, though.
- 4:17Speaker 3: Blazed and Confused podcast with Becker and Joel, The trivia
- 4:22Speaker 3: podcast where truth, Fury and THHC glide. Let's spark your
- 4:28Speaker 3: curiosity and light up some knowledge though. Blazed and Confused
- 4:33Speaker 3: Podcast with Becker and Joel starts now, now, now do.
- 4:39Speaker 1: You have any weed? Hey, Becker, got any weed with you?
- 4:42Speaker 1: Of course not, Officer. I didn't. I didn't tell the
- 4:44Speaker 1: rest of that story yesterday.
- 4:46Speaker 2: So I kind of went off a little bit when they're,
- 4:48Speaker 2: you know, we're at a work event and again they're like, hey, Julie,
- 4:51Speaker 2: were any weed? I said, why do you guys got
- 4:54Speaker 2: to throw that at me? What did I smoke?
- 4:56Speaker 1: Weed? And you know, now we just joke about that
- 4:58Speaker 1: I'm the stoner or what. And then one of the
- 5:00Speaker 1: account reps was like, well, you do have a podcast
- 5:03Speaker 1: where you sit around and smoke weed and guilty. Yeah,
- 5:06Speaker 1: and sorry for monetizing my interests. Right, well, we haven't
- 5:11Speaker 1: monetized anything yet. We're working on it. Yeah, are you like,
- 5:15Speaker 1: don't you have an agency? Can't you find us some
- 5:17Speaker 1: money somewhere? Can he sponsor us? You want to spot
- 5:20Speaker 1: him on the guy? I have money?
- 5:22Speaker 2: Put you on the spot your boats. I've been from
- 5:24Speaker 2: the from the fantoms. Can't the phantoms sponsor this podcast?
- 5:27Speaker 1: Hi? Can't you pull some strings? I think they're in
- 5:29Speaker 1: a family fun not quite this is we're a family.
- 5:31Speaker 1: That's true exactly, we are absolutely a family. Maybe my
- 5:35Speaker 1: band can can sponsor you. We have no money either
- 5:40Speaker 1: sponsor from nobody.
- 5:42Speaker 2: Nobody has any money speaking, speaking, and nobody has any money.
- 5:45Speaker 2: I read some stat last week that to raise a
- 5:48Speaker 2: child in the United States from age zero to eighteen,
- 5:50Speaker 2: it costs one hundred and forty five thousand dollars.
- 5:52Speaker 1: Now here's the thing, though, that seems kind of low
- 5:55Speaker 1: to me. Doesn't that seem low to you? From what
- 5:58Speaker 1: age to what age? From zero to eighteen in one
- 6:00Speaker 1: hundred and forty five thousand dollars's like less than ten
- 6:02Speaker 1: grand a year. That's that. There's no way that's right. Well,
- 6:05Speaker 1: I mean, what are you spending ten grand a month
- 6:08Speaker 1: or a year? Kid diapers? Diapers are expensive. I think
- 6:13Speaker 1: I think, like, I think daycare for my nieces is
- 6:16Speaker 1: like one thousand dollars a month. At least it's got
- 6:18Speaker 1: to be more than this. Yeah, there's no way that's
- 6:20Speaker 1: there's that's like, did I get that number wrong? Maybe
- 6:23Speaker 1: it was three hundred forty five thousand dollars. Should I
- 6:25Speaker 1: look it up? I think it's way. I think that's
- 6:27Speaker 1: at least let me look. Let me look it up. Yeah,
- 6:29Speaker 1: because we're a podcast that believes in factuality? How does
- 6:34Speaker 1: it cost to grease? Also a podcast that makes up
- 6:38Speaker 1: words like factuality? Thank you? I was wondering actuality. Oh,
- 6:44Speaker 1: here we go, thank you. It really went it fell there?
- 6:47Speaker 1: Thank you? Okay, Yes, I was very wrong.
- 6:51Speaker 2: It's three hundred and forty five thousand dollars still not
- 6:54Speaker 2: one hundred thousand or one hundred forty five thousand dollars.
- 6:57Speaker 1: For eighteen years, so I've missed it by a couple
- 6:59Speaker 1: hundred thousand. I'm not a guy. I never claimed to be.
- 7:02Speaker 1: That's like money to go hang out with your friends.
- 7:05Speaker 1: That's clothes that you know, when they get to the
- 7:07Speaker 1: age they don't want you to go to the store
- 7:09Speaker 1: with them anymore, and they gonna want to buy their
- 7:10Speaker 1: own clothes and they're gonna need a thousand dollars to
- 7:12Speaker 1: do that. I don't know, just fucking I don't know
- 7:15Speaker 1: what being a parent's like.
- 7:17Speaker 2: Even three hundred and forty five thousand dollars doesn't seem
- 7:20Speaker 2: like that much. Well, I mean it does, but it's still.
- 7:23Speaker 1: Then you gotta go to hot topic and get them
- 7:25Speaker 1: a parent. Janco Jeans, I'm not doing. It's gonna expense
- 7:29Speaker 1: it to live in the nineties. Man, it's expensive these days.
- 7:33Speaker 1: My parents stop giving me money as soon as I
- 7:35Speaker 1: turned sixteen. That's what you should do, shouldn't you cut
- 7:38Speaker 1: that shit off? You know, I was working when I
- 7:40Speaker 1: was younger, so making my own money, but I wanted
- 7:42Speaker 1: to work. I feel like, you know, did they make
- 7:44Speaker 1: you rent your room? Still? No? Okay, no, no no?
- 7:46Speaker 1: Did they ever charge your rent? No? No? I'm just curious.
- 7:49Speaker 1: I know I know some people that still live with
- 7:51Speaker 1: their parents. As older people, and I'm like, did they
- 7:54Speaker 1: pay rent? Well, that is a tea, some tea in
- 7:56Speaker 1: my family right now that I feel like I shouldn't
- 7:59Speaker 1: say this, but I'm gonna anyway. It's a good the
- 8:01Speaker 1: names all weirdly. Go ahead, I want to, It'll be
- 8:03Speaker 1: fun story time. Change the names all weirdly. Like my
- 8:07Speaker 1: dad Brian exactly.
- 8:13Speaker 2: Uh, my cousin Brian. My cousin Brian is getting married
- 8:22Speaker 2: soon Brian uh and his girlfriend soon to be wife.
- 8:27Speaker 1: What do you call that? Yes?
- 8:30Speaker 2: Yes, Brian and Tanyaly couple.
- 8:32Speaker 1: They have their names thatched in that tree outside your
- 8:35Speaker 1: Yeah them what anyway, I guess you know. Times are tough.
- 8:39Speaker 2: So they ended up moving back into Brian's childhood house
- 8:45Speaker 2: and I think they were living there for free for
- 8:47Speaker 2: a while. Mind you, this ain't the rich Carlton. Let's
- 8:50Speaker 2: just put it that way. All was good in the
- 8:52Speaker 2: hood until as of recently, Brian's dad, my uncle Steve,
- 8:59Speaker 2: started charge and Brian rent. Okay, but I think it's
- 9:04Speaker 2: only like two hundred dollars or three hundred dollars, so
- 9:06Speaker 2: it's nothing. But at the same time, it's like, dude,
- 9:09Speaker 2: you're his freaking dad and he's here to save money, Like,
- 9:12Speaker 2: why do you do it if you're just doing it
- 9:13Speaker 2: for principle?
- 9:14Speaker 1: Like for the lesson. How long has Brian been there?
- 9:17Speaker 1: I feel like it's been a bit now, like a year.
- 9:21Speaker 1: Maybe I don't know. But things are expensive, yeah, like
- 9:24Speaker 1: utilities are expensive. On they are my electric bills a
- 9:28Speaker 1: four or fifty dollars. But it's your kid and it's
- 9:30Speaker 1: your childhood house. That's shitty. I know. I feel like
- 9:33Speaker 1: you should always, if you're a good parent, that that
- 9:37Speaker 1: home is the home of your kid for life. They
- 9:40Speaker 1: should always be able to pop back with exceptions, oh
- 9:43Speaker 1: not hating none people following hard times. I moved at home.
- 9:45Speaker 1: I moved home. We're in to help some people for
- 9:48Speaker 1: like a year, I popp back.
- 9:49Speaker 2: I do think, you know now with all this moving
- 9:51Speaker 2: thing going on here, I do think, wow, man, if
- 9:54Speaker 2: I lived with my parents for a year and saved
- 9:57Speaker 2: all that money, that would be smart. I just you know,
- 10:00Speaker 2: could you imagine recording this in my childhood bedroom?
- 10:02Speaker 1: I do it. Yeah, mister beast did it. You can
- 10:05Speaker 1: do it too, actually joke, totally joking. My dad said
- 10:08Speaker 1: two weeks ago, he was like, well, if you have
- 10:10Speaker 1: to move back. You have to move back. You're smoking
- 10:12Speaker 1: fucking weed. Well we are. That's what the shed's for. Dad. Yeah,
- 10:19Speaker 1: they did just get a new shed. Hey, there you go.
- 10:21Speaker 1: You got a Chris in it, a little smoke area,
- 10:23Speaker 1: and you should bring a joint. We should do the
- 10:24Speaker 1: podcast in there. Just show up one day, should I
- 10:27Speaker 1: ask him? Hey, could we do the podcast from your
- 10:30Speaker 1: new shed? I think of a really funny idea. We're
- 10:33Speaker 1: doing a tour of the podcast. I'm telling you, I
- 10:36Speaker 1: want to take the show on the road. I want
- 10:37Speaker 1: to do it from a Taco Bell parking lot sometime.
- 10:39Speaker 1: I think that'd be fun. Yeah, but I feel like
- 10:41Speaker 1: that's illegal somehow because Taco Bell is like branded there
- 10:43Speaker 1: even better. Here. Here's what you gotta do. You take
- 10:46Speaker 1: your car there, You go to a joint pizza Hut
- 10:48Speaker 1: slash Taco Bell, and each of one of you is
- 10:51Speaker 1: in a different, different part. So one of you is
- 10:53Speaker 1: in the pizza hut, one of you is in the
- 10:54Speaker 1: Taco Bell portion. Oh, I like, I don't think they
- 10:57Speaker 1: have those anymore. I think they're getting rid of those,
- 10:59Speaker 1: are they? Yeah? Oh yeah fine. Long John Silvers was
- 11:03Speaker 1: attached to KFC at one point.
- 11:06Speaker 2: We talked about this last week. He's all hummed up
- 11:08Speaker 2: that he can't find a Long John Silvers. Would you
- 11:10Speaker 2: eat Long John Silvers?
- 11:11Speaker 1: Think? I would eat at it if it was at once,
- 11:13Speaker 1: It's like eat it, eat at it, would at it.
- 11:19Speaker 1: But no, they don't have him around here anymore. You
- 11:21Speaker 1: have to drive to Hamburg to get It's like if
- 11:24Speaker 1: you want a Roy Rogers, you got to go to
- 11:26Speaker 1: the Turnpike. At the Turns on the Turnpike. What is
- 11:29Speaker 1: It's fast food but with a cowboy theme. They have
- 11:33Speaker 1: roast beef and stuff too. If Arby's was mildly good,
- 11:37Speaker 1: I know I do like Arby's is great. The roast beef, dude,
- 11:41Speaker 1: I love it.
- 11:42Speaker 2: I think that Arby's is like the most underrated fast
- 11:44Speaker 2: food establishment ever.
- 11:45Speaker 1: The good thing is Arby's just like never busy, so
- 11:48Speaker 1: you know, you never got to wait the curlyes curly
- 11:52Speaker 1: and the roast beef. You can't go wrong. You start worrying, though,
- 11:55Speaker 1: when your favorite restaurant's not very busy any because you
- 11:57Speaker 1: know what happened. What was that other thing that closed
- 11:59Speaker 1: down that was like heartbreaking? Boston Market? Boston Market, you
- 12:03Speaker 1: can't go to one, yeah know, you bitch about this too.
- 12:05Speaker 1: I've never been in Boston Market. That used to be
- 12:07Speaker 1: our jam back in the day. Isn't that just like
- 12:09Speaker 1: rotisserie chicken on now you can just now you can
- 12:12Speaker 1: get it at Costco for fu banging mac and cheese.
- 12:15Speaker 1: Yeah that their mashed potatoes were dope. Yeah.
- 12:17Speaker 2: There also used to be an old country buffet over there.
- 12:20Speaker 2: I remember going there. Oh yeah, it was a little
- 12:22Speaker 2: gross in there.
- 12:23Speaker 1: It was never tidy. You didn't go in there for that. No,
- 12:27Speaker 1: you're going in there because you We're hungry and you
- 12:30Speaker 1: were at the mall all day and younger than episode
- 12:32Speaker 1: forty seven. We've got ten questions in the rapid round
- 12:35Speaker 1: for you.
- 12:35Speaker 2: You you didn't give me my sheet, right, I practice
- 12:40Speaker 2: the pronunciation on it.
- 12:42Speaker 1: Everything should be pretty easy, you think, Yeah, let's try it. Okay,
- 12:46Speaker 1: the game begins in three All right, Ben.
- 12:52Speaker 2: What's the name of a six sided shape hexagon?
- 12:56Speaker 1: Yeah? Yes? What is the third planet from the sun?
- 13:00Speaker 1: It's Us? Yeah, Earth? Yes? Which way? The lines of
- 13:04Speaker 1: latitude run la like a ladder? So up and down?
- 13:09Speaker 1: What's that called latitude? You said north and north south
- 13:14Speaker 1: north south up down? Huh? Now what latitude? Come back?
- 13:17Speaker 1: To it said, latitude four to what power is sixteen
- 13:23Speaker 1: four to the second power? Yeah?
- 13:25Speaker 2: What month gets an extra day during leap year? February? Yeah, February. Yeah,
- 13:32Speaker 2: would you have to sound that one out? What is
- 13:34Speaker 2: the largest species of penguin?
- 13:36Speaker 1: Emperor? Yeah? How many dots are on a pair of dice? Total? Yeah?
- 13:42Speaker 1: One plus two is three plus three is six ten, five,
- 13:47Speaker 1: twenty one? A pair? Oh? Forty two? Yeah? Wait, forty two.
- 13:54Speaker 1: A pair of dice has forty two dots in total.
- 13:57Speaker 1: Seems second lot. You're not on. What gas do plants
- 14:01Speaker 1: absorb from the atmosphere carbon dioxide? Hm? Which animal runs
- 14:06Speaker 1: the fastest? Itta? Yeah? What animals without a uh? What?
- 14:12Speaker 1: What this is? Why I wanted to look at it first.
- 14:15Speaker 2: What are animals without a backbone called invertebrates?
- 14:19Speaker 1: You're good. You're a smart guy. You're one of our
- 14:22Speaker 1: smarter ones. We shrifted out on a couple ones. What
- 14:24Speaker 1: did I get wrong? Latitude? Yeah? Which ways do lines
- 14:27Speaker 1: of latitude run? We were looking for horizontal, you said, Oh,
- 14:31Speaker 1: I meant here, Yeah, the lines go yeah, the horizon.
- 14:37Speaker 1: That's okay. The third planet from the sun is Earth.
- 14:40Speaker 1: Joel's looking at what's going on? Out there. I don't know,
- 14:43Speaker 1: people are talking. I love being the nose and neighbor
- 14:46Speaker 1: and talking about us. Probably fuck off that the windows open,
- 14:51Speaker 1: you freaking idiot. You're right, you're right, sor right. You're
- 14:53Speaker 1: literally sitting right in front of an open window, fucking moron.
- 14:57Speaker 1: It wasn't that loud. It was calm down. I had
- 14:59Speaker 1: a bird come in my room the other day, Yeah,
- 15:02Speaker 1: because of an open window. Did it take like a
- 15:06Speaker 1: while to get it out? Uh? Kind of. I woke
- 15:09Speaker 1: up and my girlfriend's like, there's a bird in the room.
- 15:11Speaker 1: I was like, what it is? Like eight am? I
- 15:13Speaker 1: had like I had insomnie all night and I was like,
- 15:16Speaker 1: what are you talking about? And then I look at
- 15:18Speaker 1: the we had the with the blinds down. Yeah, so
- 15:20Speaker 1: we just I wake up to like a bird going
- 15:22Speaker 1: like I would have been borrow. That's a great impression
- 15:28Speaker 1: of a bird. Thank you very good, Thank you, Eric.
- 15:31Speaker 1: I'm a sound effects guy, are you really yea other impressions?
- 15:35Speaker 1: I don't know what do you want me to do?
- 15:36Speaker 1: I can make some noises, bring your mic closer to
- 15:38Speaker 1: your face. Got dogs now out here? Yeah? I was sorry, no, no, no, sorry.
- 15:44Speaker 1: I was looking out there though, that one guy that's
- 15:45Speaker 1: out there is the dude that complained that we're smoking
- 15:48Speaker 1: cigarettes in this apartment. That was him. Boy is he
- 15:51Speaker 1: stupid anyway? That'd be him. Four to what power is sixteen?
- 16:00Speaker 1: You got that second? Do you know powers? Do you
- 16:03Speaker 1: know how to do that stuff? Joel? Isn't that like
- 16:06Speaker 1: like four to the power of three? Yeah? It's like
- 16:08Speaker 1: an exponent. Is that what it's called? That sounds right? Exponent?
- 16:12Speaker 1: It's like the big number and then the little number. Yeah.
- 16:15Speaker 2: Yeah, and you like multiply it by itself by that
- 16:19Speaker 2: many times.
- 16:19Speaker 1: Two is squared, three is cube? Four is I don't
- 16:22Speaker 1: remember what month gets an extra day during leap year,
- 16:25Speaker 1: that February Febrewary. What this is? COFFI into the biker
- 16:32Speaker 1: feult make an eye contact. The largest species of penguin
- 16:36Speaker 1: was the Emperor Dots on dice forty two. Joel couldn't
- 16:40Speaker 1: believe it. He said, it sounded like too many. So yeah,
- 16:42Speaker 1: because there's film dice. Yeah, so there's two of them.
- 16:45Speaker 1: But doesn't the dice only go up to six? Yeah?
- 16:47Speaker 1: So do that one add to each number on each side? Two?
- 16:50Speaker 1: It's three, three, okay, okay? Yeah, when you keep going
- 16:53Speaker 1: twenty one on each. Yeah, I was doing mental math.
- 16:57Speaker 1: Yeah he doesn't understand that. No, that's crazy concept to me.
- 17:01Speaker 1: Mental math. People do that ship in their head. I
- 17:03Speaker 1: can't even do it if I write it down, let
- 17:04Speaker 1: alone in my head. You know how do people do that?
- 17:09Speaker 1: Mostly their phones nowadays? Well? Yeah, really, yeah, people are stupid. Uh.
- 17:13Speaker 1: I bet you know what the number for boobs is? Though? Uh? Yeah,
- 17:17Speaker 1: if I thought about it, well, four four four four four? Wait? No,
- 17:23Speaker 1: what's B? What's B? No? Fours? A? We're not doing
- 17:32Speaker 1: a T? Four as an H? No? Four? Is an? A? Right? Four?
- 17:39Speaker 1: What the fuck is B? Three? Three? No? Three? No,
- 17:48Speaker 1: it's been a long time since I was in the
- 17:49Speaker 1: fourth grade with the calculator.
- 17:51Speaker 2: Turn it up to down and spell the word boobies?
- 17:55Speaker 2: Was it boobies or just boobs?
- 17:56Speaker 1: Just boobs? You can booboo? I think you can do boobies.
- 17:59Speaker 1: I don't think back in the day, we don't have
- 18:00Speaker 1: that many numerals. Eight eight zero zero eight five? Now
- 18:06Speaker 1: what is an? Oh? Right, enough with the questions. Oh
- 18:09Speaker 1: he still don't answer. It's an easy one, Thank you
- 18:13Speaker 1: very much. All right, it was a gimme anyway, Keep
- 18:15Speaker 1: going with the recap which animal runs the fastest cheetah?
- 18:20Speaker 1: And what are animals without backbones called invertebrates? Invertebrates? Yeah,
- 18:24Speaker 1: very very good. You're very smart. Thank you, very impressed.
- 18:27Speaker 1: Be you are smart? Damn thank you? Look at you.
- 18:30Speaker 1: How does it feel to be smart? Like? What does
- 18:31Speaker 1: that feel? What is that like for you? I've never
- 18:33Speaker 1: been like that. It's more it's more like you don't
- 18:37Speaker 1: understand how some people survive life. You're just like, how
- 18:40Speaker 1: are they going around this stupid? And can't I can't
- 18:44Speaker 1: do some certain things, you know, like just some people
- 18:46Speaker 1: that are just living everyday life. You're like, how do
- 18:48Speaker 1: they put their pants on? One of those people do taxes?
- 18:53Speaker 1: I don't know you're doing all right? You didn't do you?
- 18:55Speaker 3: Not?
- 18:55Speaker 1: You? You had some other guy do it. You do
- 18:57Speaker 1: your own taxes. I get all my numbers together and
- 19:01Speaker 1: then I send it to an accountant because I've learned
- 19:03Speaker 1: that it's stupid when you have as many income streams
- 19:06Speaker 1: as I do. Yeah, you do a little bit of everything.
- 19:08Speaker 1: That's my problem to recap real quick what you do? Yeah,
- 19:11Speaker 1: I work over the phantoms. It's a part time job.
- 19:13Speaker 1: I work for myself. Molten Metal Media so I have
- 19:16Speaker 1: a lot of clients, so I'm just my own. This
- 19:18Speaker 1: guy a braggerty. A lot of clients self employed, so
- 19:23Speaker 1: I gotta do all self employed. So we want to
- 19:25Speaker 1: be one of the clients. Okay, yeah, we can't pay
- 19:27Speaker 1: you right now. I can't pay to be your sponsor.
- 19:30Speaker 1: So it sounds like a deal. Sounds like I'm glad
- 19:33Speaker 1: this is working out for Yeah, So I got a
- 19:35Speaker 1: lot of that. I do some random gigs, like I
- 19:38Speaker 1: did the Polar Express experience. I saw the places. Yeah,
- 19:42Speaker 1: were you Tom Hanks? I was Tom Hanks. Put on
- 19:45Speaker 1: the conductor suit. We can bring kids onto the bus
- 19:48Speaker 1: like a little literal little Lanta bush and then just
- 19:51Speaker 1: do to performance of the Hot Chocolate Song. Very cool,
- 19:53Speaker 1: dance around. I think my hand's still hurt, yeah, exactly,
- 19:56Speaker 1: And then like I get all like cocky. I'm like,
- 19:58Speaker 1: I'm gonna have so much fun, and I like grab
- 20:00Speaker 1: on like the handles and swing and then like I
- 20:02Speaker 1: have rope burn at the end of the day and
- 20:04Speaker 1: my arms are hurting. I'm like, dude, you're forty. Why
- 20:06Speaker 1: are you doing this? Idiot? You can't do that kind
- 20:09Speaker 1: of stuff, those kind of activities to slow down for yeah,
- 20:12Speaker 1: Joe doesn't know about it. The random stuff like that.
- 20:14Speaker 1: I do too. That movie you watch it now though,
- 20:17Speaker 1: and the animation is a little strange. It is a
- 20:19Speaker 1: little strange. It's a little strange. It looks like the
- 20:21Speaker 1: early I do too. But oddly it's like an oddly
- 20:24Speaker 1: satisfying movie for me. What are you watching like the
- 20:26Speaker 1: I was watching like the old Star Wars, like early
- 20:30Speaker 1: like animated stuff, and that's equally as bad. I can
- 20:34Speaker 1: the TV ones. You haven't watched that stuff. I've never
- 20:37Speaker 1: once watched Star Wars anything ever. I only here's the thing,
- 20:40Speaker 1: I only just did a couple of years ago. I
- 20:43Speaker 1: escaped to my youth, not seeing Star Wars or anything
- 20:46Speaker 1: like that, and then I went through all the movies
- 20:47Speaker 1: and watched them, every single all of them, like not
- 20:50Speaker 1: some of the ones from the early two thousands or
- 20:52Speaker 1: anything like that. But yeah, I watched the originals and
- 20:55Speaker 1: then I was they like long, They're long, aren't they
- 20:57Speaker 1: their movie length? They're not bad? Yeah, movie length like
- 21:00Speaker 1: what ninety minutes? That's movie length? And the early ones
- 21:03Speaker 1: I think were like two hours. Yeah they're not. They're
- 21:05Speaker 1: not like, they're not they're not Avatar where there's got
- 21:08Speaker 1: seven parts and they're all four hours each. But you
- 21:10Speaker 1: know the world is crazy for that franchise, right. Yeah.
- 21:14Speaker 1: I was impressed by it, but I wasn't blown away
- 21:16Speaker 1: by it. Maybe I would have been if I watched
- 21:18Speaker 1: it when I was a kid, but I don't know.
- 21:19Speaker 1: I was never a sci fi guy fifty years ago.
- 21:21Speaker 1: With that technology, like just as like a movie lover,
- 21:23Speaker 1: I should appreciate it more, honestly. Yeah, for that, you
- 21:25Speaker 1: gotta go on the time machine in your head and
- 21:27Speaker 1: be like appreciate it for the day. It's still a
- 21:29Speaker 1: good story and all that kind of stuff.
- 21:31Speaker 2: But the only time I would have gone to see
- 21:33Speaker 2: Star Wars. A couple of years ago, the Allentown Symphony
- 21:36Speaker 2: Orchestra like played the soundtrack of Star Wars at the
- 21:39Speaker 2: PPL Center to the movie of Star Wars, so it
- 21:43Speaker 2: was like live music of Star Wars.
- 21:45Speaker 1: I would have gone to that. But even then, they
- 21:47Speaker 1: just did some of this past season too. They did
- 21:48Speaker 1: a whole space concert this past season. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 21:51Speaker 1: they had stuff from Star Wars and Star Trek and Sinatra.
- 21:57Speaker 1: It was it was a nice it was a cool
- 21:58Speaker 1: program m. And then some goosetaf Holtz the Planets. Oh, dude,
- 22:02Speaker 1: I dig some Holst, do you? Oh? Yeah, your rock Holst?
- 22:05Speaker 1: I do. I love some of that classical ship man.
- 22:07Speaker 2: You ever get real stone and put on some classical
- 22:09Speaker 2: music sometimes you've never done that, I have, Yeah, I
- 22:14Speaker 2: do that.
- 22:14Speaker 1: I love that stuff. Put on what's his name? The
- 22:16Speaker 1: cello guy? Yo mama yo yo maa yo yo mom
- 22:20Speaker 1: yo yo ma your mama. Rumor has it our moms
- 22:23Speaker 1: are going to be on the podcast in a few weeks.
- 22:25Speaker 1: So you look at you with the ultimate teas. Yeah. Ooh,
- 22:28Speaker 1: Mother's Day episode pretty good. Yeah, that's if my mom
- 22:31Speaker 1: agrees to it. You're gonna smoke weed in front of
- 22:33Speaker 1: your mother. I think we should do it outside before
- 22:36Speaker 1: to be respectful of this. This dog's ready to bark.
- 22:38Speaker 1: You can tell she wants to hippuppy. Oh you're so pretty.
- 22:44Speaker 1: Bitch just called my dog a bitch. Yeah, she's literally
- 22:49Speaker 1: the definition, and she's kind of bitchy. She is in
- 22:53Speaker 1: attitude and in biologically speaking, Yeah, is that true? Like really,
- 22:59Speaker 1: like by definition of female dog is called a bitch?
- 23:03Speaker 1: You google google it right now? Yeah, Google, you didn't
- 23:06Speaker 1: know that. I mean, like I've heard that, Like it's
- 23:08Speaker 1: you know the old angel rumor, is a female dog
- 23:13Speaker 1: really called a bitch?
- 23:17Speaker 2: Yes, a bitch is technically defined as a female kid.
- 23:22Speaker 1: You're just learning this right now? No again, I always
- 23:24Speaker 1: knew it, but I thought it was like a rumor.
- 23:27Speaker 1: He's all caught up. Now I'm a bitch. This is interesting. Wolves, foxes,
- 23:34Speaker 1: and other wild candids are also defined as a bitch.
- 23:41Speaker 1: Wolf is a bitch. Bitch? Yeah, see, just go go
- 23:45Speaker 1: hiking and just find one, like you're up beach, Come
- 23:49Speaker 1: at me, birch. And then we see Joel on the news.
- 23:54Speaker 1: I hope it's for that. Yeah, random thoughts blazed and
- 23:58Speaker 1: confused them thoughts. I know you hate doing it, but
- 24:03Speaker 1: read my first random thought that I had this week.
- 24:06Speaker 2: Yeah, we should rename this feature Becker's Random Thoughts that
- 24:09Speaker 2: Joel reads.
- 24:09Speaker 1: That's fine with me.
- 24:11Speaker 2: I still have unopened Girl Scout cookies in my kitchen cabinet.
- 24:16Speaker 2: Well I did until yesterday when I realized I still
- 24:20Speaker 2: had Girl Scout cookies in my kitchen cabinet.
- 24:22Speaker 1: Were they stale? No, they were unopened. It was the
- 24:26Speaker 1: caramel delights. Those are good, but I feel like they
- 24:29Speaker 1: could get stale though. No they were.
- 24:31Speaker 2: They were unopened. Dude, I'm proud of myself. I did
- 24:33Speaker 2: not get one box of Girl Scout cookies this season.
- 24:35Speaker 2: I feel like Girl Scout cookie seasons officially over now,
- 24:37Speaker 2: isn't it.
- 24:38Speaker 1: Yeah, Unfortunately, you're proud that you didn't support the Girl
- 24:41Speaker 1: Scouts this year. They're overpriced. What a guy, They're over proud. Yes,
- 24:46Speaker 1: it's a fundraising mechanism for my niece. You jerk. Hey,
- 24:50Speaker 1: you can't run for office now? Why because of this recording?
- 24:54Speaker 1: Who doesn't support the Girl Scouts? Exactly?
- 24:56Speaker 2: You know what I mean? Aren't they up to like
- 24:58Speaker 2: six bucks of box? Now that's a little much. I
- 25:01Speaker 2: like the cookie. I like the peanut butter What are
- 25:03Speaker 2: they the peanut butter ones? The red box?
- 25:05Speaker 1: Yeah? I like those? Not for six bucks. I yeah, dude,
- 25:09Speaker 1: I have a pack of those left too. Put them
- 25:10Speaker 1: in the freezer. It'll change your life. Yeah. I do
- 25:12Speaker 1: that with Inman's, which I also had in my freezer.
- 25:14Speaker 1: I'm just mad when they get rid of the good flavors. Yeah, yeah,
- 25:19Speaker 1: I'm mad that they got rid of the s'mores ones.
- 25:21Speaker 1: I see.
- 25:22Speaker 2: I'm telling you. My favorite used to be the Thanks Salts.
- 25:25Speaker 2: We've read on this before. They got rid of the
- 25:27Speaker 2: Thanks a lots short read on the top, chocolate on
- 25:30Speaker 2: the bottom.
- 25:30Speaker 1: Yeah, thanks a lot for getting rid of the freaking
- 25:32Speaker 1: thanks a lot. And those were great with milk like
- 25:35Speaker 1: they were they were yeh dukable. Yeah yeah, I mind
- 25:38Speaker 1: from out of state to really so you can get
- 25:40Speaker 1: different stuff. Yeah yeah, so there.
- 25:43Speaker 2: I want to know why I don't support the Girl
- 25:44Speaker 2: Scouts there right there, because they got rid of the
- 25:46Speaker 2: thanks lots.
- 25:47Speaker 1: That's the reason why I'm protesting the Girl Scouts. Thanks
- 25:51Speaker 1: very little, Las Anti Girl Scouts. Anyway, the face ID
- 25:57Speaker 1: on my iPhone didn't work the other day and it
- 25:59Speaker 1: really really pissing me off. I want to let you
- 26:01Speaker 1: guys know that I was just just so you know,
- 26:03Speaker 1: you no longer have a face Thank you face id.
- 26:06Speaker 1: What a wild happening for a while though, it's been
- 26:08Speaker 1: annoying to me. You ever think about what a wild
- 26:09Speaker 1: concept that is. It used to be you had to
- 26:11Speaker 1: put a pass code in or like a password. Then
- 26:14Speaker 1: it was okay, you scanned your fingerprint, and then now
- 26:16Speaker 1: it just looks at your face. Yeah. I mean, if
- 26:18Speaker 1: somebody wanted to steal your phone, they could knock you
- 26:20Speaker 1: out and just be like Oh yeah, hold your eyelids
- 26:22Speaker 1: open and hold the phone in front of you and
- 26:24Speaker 1: fucking open up your phone. They could do that with
- 26:26Speaker 1: your fingerprint too, though sometimes my computer like does that
- 26:28Speaker 1: and I'm like, I have a hood over my face.
- 26:30Speaker 1: I'm like, how did you know it was me? See
- 26:33Speaker 1: this is you have a hood over my face when
- 26:34Speaker 1: I'm trying to unlock my phone in the morning. You
- 26:36Speaker 1: know what you gotta do. You got to go to
- 26:38Speaker 1: your settings and scan.
- 26:39Speaker 2: You can scan your face a couple of times, Okay,
- 26:41Speaker 2: you gotta re scan it, like with your glasses on
- 26:43Speaker 2: and shite.
- 26:45Speaker 1: It might just be it's been so long your face
- 26:48Speaker 1: is just aged. Maybe maybe fuck or you've gotten skinnier
- 26:52Speaker 1: and have a better looking and sounds more accurate. Yeah,
- 26:55Speaker 1: you had a face off. Thank you you. I did
- 26:57Speaker 1: have a face Yeah, you and Nick Cage switching faces.
- 27:00Speaker 1: We had that episode where we talked about movies and
- 27:02Speaker 1: you were asking, like a movie that you have to
- 27:04Speaker 1: watch face off? I don't think I I don't think
- 27:06Speaker 1: I mentioned it in that episode, but anyway, you should
- 27:08Speaker 1: watch that movie. How long is it? Two hours? Yeah,
- 27:13Speaker 1: it's probably shorter. It's not that complicated. Telling you strict
- 27:17Speaker 1: rule of ninety minutes. Here's the thing I want to
- 27:19Speaker 1: I just want to talk to you about movies, and
- 27:21Speaker 1: you don't know anything about movies. I just love movies.
- 27:24Speaker 1: Good for you, random thoughts? What else? I gained four
- 27:27Speaker 1: pounds over the weekend. Dude, I ate so much food.
- 27:30Speaker 1: I was ravenous this past weekend. Sometimes it happens. My
- 27:33Speaker 1: dad and I went to the Phillies game and we
- 27:34Speaker 1: got some tickets, and they had like a full spread
- 27:37Speaker 1: of food. Oh yeah, you got a ticket, and I
- 27:38Speaker 1: fucking went nuts on it. What they got. They had
- 27:42Speaker 1: cheese steaks, they had hot dogs. I didn't have the
- 27:44Speaker 1: bun on the hot dogs. Shut the fuck up. I
- 27:46Speaker 1: don't want to hear your opinion about that. But I
- 27:47Speaker 1: was trying to limit my bread if I could.
- 27:49Speaker 2: I didn't even say anything. Yeah, but here's one of
- 27:51Speaker 2: those shut up? Yeah, can I get Can I get
- 27:53Speaker 2: a burger? But instead of the bun, I'll get it
- 27:55Speaker 2: in a lettuce?
- 27:56Speaker 1: Rap? What the I wouldn't even say that out loud.
- 28:00Speaker 1: Defend me. I used to do it, but only during
- 28:03Speaker 1: passover because I couldn't eat bread. All right, never mind,
- 28:07Speaker 1: But anyway, I kept eating and eating and eating and eating.
- 28:09Speaker 1: And then I got home from Philadelphia and I was
- 28:10Speaker 1: really hungry again at like nine thirty, and I went
- 28:12Speaker 1: to chilies. You ever go to chilies anymore in these days?
- 28:15Speaker 1: I haven't really been to. We have had a craving
- 28:17Speaker 1: for chilies for a long time. We're going out to
- 28:20Speaker 1: eat after this, Joel, if you want to come, We're
- 28:21Speaker 1: gonna get breakfast at Golden Gate Diner. They could sponsor
- 28:24Speaker 1: this podcast right up the rally.
- 28:28Speaker 2: I'm a little scared about that diner in particular because
- 28:31Speaker 2: I don't know if you do this, but like once
- 28:33Speaker 2: a year, the what's it called comes out where they
- 28:35Speaker 2: go around and they like do the health review test
- 28:38Speaker 2: of every restaurant.
- 28:39Speaker 1: Dude, that one has a lot of violations. All right,
- 28:41Speaker 1: we're going to City View. That one also has a
- 28:44Speaker 1: lot of violations. They all have violations. And it's always
- 28:47Speaker 1: like the dude walks in the refrigerator back there and
- 28:51Speaker 1: nothing's labeled, so everything's like, you know, crusty and old. Well,
- 28:56Speaker 1: I don't know, should we still go there. I'm good
- 28:59Speaker 1: with that. I feel like you can't fuck up breakfast though, right,
- 29:02Speaker 1: just don't make my eggs on the floor. And we're good.
- 29:05Speaker 1: Don't make it. Where the where the rats took a ship? Well?
- 29:08Speaker 1: We fine, It's easy to please.
- 29:12Speaker 3: Trivia man, it's like the universe asking us questions.
- 29:16Speaker 1: You know, yeah, Blazed and Confused podcast Trivia Time question
- 29:25Speaker 1: number one. He can come to you once as a lifeline,
- 29:28Speaker 1: as a reminder, or eight times like he knows every week.
- 29:31Speaker 1: Just remember how many questions I got? Right? What is
- 29:34Speaker 1: the time between sunset and darkness called the time between?
- 29:38Speaker 1: It's funny you just we were just talking about sunlight
- 29:40Speaker 1: and sundown or whatever, the time between sunset and darkness.
- 29:46Speaker 1: What is the time between sunset and darkness called sunset
- 29:52Speaker 1: and darkness? Dusk? Right? Dusk? What a dumb fucking question
- 30:00Speaker 1: this is to start? Well, because you don't know it?
- 30:03Speaker 2: Well yeah, well yeah for one, yeah, but what would
- 30:06Speaker 2: you categorize this question as the dictionary?
- 30:08Speaker 1: What? Like? What it is? I think dusk the time
- 30:13Speaker 1: between No, if it's not dusk, so it's not so,
- 30:17Speaker 1: so it's not dusk. All right, thank you, ship, I
- 30:21Speaker 1: think I know it. Then it was the first thing
- 30:23Speaker 1: that I think came into my mind. So do I
- 30:25Speaker 1: blow my lifeline on the first one? You might have
- 30:28Speaker 1: to how bad do you want the points that don't exist.
- 30:32Speaker 1: That's not dusk between I.
- 30:35Speaker 2: I think the dusk is perfectly acceptable.
- 30:41Speaker 1: We'll have to investigate this one. Read this again. I
- 30:44Speaker 1: do too. What is the time between sunset and darkness? Called?
- 30:47Speaker 1: You think it should count to? I think, yeah, I'll
- 30:51Speaker 1: look it up. All right, you can tell chat question?
- 30:54Speaker 1: Can I answer? But I think I think you were
- 30:57Speaker 1: referring to Twilight. Yes, Twilight, yes? So did I get
- 31:00Speaker 1: it right? We have to look it up, all right, fine,
- 31:05Speaker 1: I don't think. I think dusk is when sun is down.
- 31:08Speaker 1: What's the difference between dusk and twilight? It's a gray area.
- 31:13Speaker 1: Dusk is specifically the darkest stage of Twilight, immediately preceding nightfall. Yeah,
- 31:19Speaker 1: Twilight covers the overall transition, while dusk is the final
- 31:22Speaker 1: movement of that transition. It's like, it's like what I said, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 31:26Speaker 1: like you knew that I did. Yeah, So what you're
- 31:28Speaker 1: telling me? I got that wrong? Every year I go
- 31:30Speaker 1: to the Dusk Till Dawn movie marathon at Becky's Drive
- 31:32Speaker 1: and they can spont to this podcast too. I got
- 31:35Speaker 1: it wrong, though, No, I was even answering you I
- 31:37Speaker 1: got it wrong. Yeah, thank you all right, Let's go
- 31:39Speaker 1: to the next one. We learned something there, Foggy, Foggy
- 31:42Speaker 1: over you. Question two? What is the only month with
- 31:49Speaker 1: no US holidays? The only one? There's only one? Only one? Really?
- 31:56Speaker 1: Who has a US holiday? Think about all those, you know,
- 32:00Speaker 1: like an official like a official US holidays. Oh, that's
- 32:04Speaker 1: a good question, like the post office is closed, you know,
- 32:07Speaker 1: government buildings are closed.
- 32:08Speaker 2: I want to say February because like you think Valentine's Day,
- 32:11Speaker 2: But Valentine's Day is not Yeah, but that's not federal helping,
- 32:16Speaker 2: it's not a real What else is in February?
- 32:21Speaker 1: Okay? So like January is New Year's right, February.
- 32:24Speaker 2: I still think what's in March? Maybe it's March Saint
- 32:29Speaker 2: Patty's Day. That's not like a real holiday. What what's
- 32:34Speaker 2: how'd you word this question again?
- 32:35Speaker 1: What is the only month with no US holidays? With
- 32:38Speaker 1: no US holidays? To define U like holidays? Government holiday?
- 32:43Speaker 1: All right? So yeah, Valentine's Day, July, you know what
- 32:45Speaker 1: I mean? Like that? So that June teen's one of
- 32:48Speaker 1: them now, so not June August. Labor days around there.
- 32:54Speaker 1: I always get Labor Day Memorial Day mixed up when
- 32:56Speaker 1: they are on the calendar. Not gonna lie, I do too. Yeah,
- 32:59Speaker 1: a lot of people do. I think Labor Days in August?
- 33:02Speaker 1: Right or September? Yeah, it's September, September, yeah, Labor Day, right, yeah,
- 33:07Speaker 1: Labor Day October? Maybe it's October.
- 33:11Speaker 2: It might be about October because Halloween's not a real
- 33:14Speaker 2: government holiday.
- 33:15Speaker 1: It should be, but it should be as well. Yeah,
- 33:18Speaker 1: I think maybe October. Final answer, Yeah, I'm gonna say October. No, sorry, man?
- 33:24Speaker 1: Is it February? August? August? Shit going on in August?
- 33:30Speaker 1: February Scott Martin Luther King Day and President's Day? President's
- 33:34Speaker 1: Day too? Man, we don't celebrate that, haven't you. Haven't
- 33:37Speaker 1: you like recorded one thousand like Mattress vos for President's Day? Yeah,
- 33:42Speaker 1: I don't know when that is? So, man, why did
- 33:46Speaker 1: all these President's Day ads come in in February? What's
- 33:50Speaker 1: the holiday in October? The Columbus Day? Columbus Day? Yeah,
- 33:54Speaker 1: Christopher Columbus. What a guy? It's your boy. You ever
- 33:58Speaker 1: seen pictures of that guy? No, there weren't pictures of him, no, but.
- 34:03Speaker 2: Seen pictures no, But it like stands out to me
- 34:05Speaker 2: that Christopher Columbus, like you know, the picture that you
- 34:08Speaker 2: see in the history books, one ugly motherfucker, Like you
- 34:11Speaker 2: gotta feel bad for the guy.
- 34:12Speaker 1: You know, he's because he was drawn in black and
- 34:14Speaker 1: white ink. No, it was in color, chiseled into a stone.
- 34:19Speaker 1: It was in color.
- 34:20Speaker 2: I'm telling you, I remember it in my brain, the
- 34:22Speaker 2: picture of Christopher Columbus in the history I can paint
- 34:25Speaker 2: a picture of him now in twenty twenty six in color.
- 34:30Speaker 1: There's no there's no photos of him. Photography wasn't invented. Yeah,
- 34:35Speaker 1: I know, but still I think I don't know that.
- 34:39Speaker 1: Let's go to this next one. It's about British people. Yeah,
- 34:44Speaker 1: you can do it in an accent if you want
- 34:46Speaker 1: to doodly do what? Question three British people call them pants?
- 34:55Speaker 1: What do Americans call them trousers? Comes to mind.
- 35:00Speaker 2: I thought it'd be reversed, like British people call them trousers,
- 35:03Speaker 2: American people call them pants.
- 35:04Speaker 1: I still call them pants pants, as opposed to what
- 35:09Speaker 1: British people call them pants. What do Americans call that?
- 35:12Speaker 1: This feels like more of a riddle. This ain't not
- 35:14Speaker 1: even a trivia question. No, it's a riddle. It's just
- 35:18Speaker 1: that they call something pants that we don't call that?
- 35:21Speaker 2: Are you finally paying twenty bucks a month for the
- 35:23Speaker 2: premium version of chat gip?
- 35:24Speaker 1: Now, I'm not using chat ept for sound like it.
- 35:27Speaker 1: I'll be honest with you. No, I stopped using it
- 35:30Speaker 1: a while ago. You sure, yep? Saving the planet one
- 35:33Speaker 1: search at a time? Uh huh. British people call them pants?
- 35:37Speaker 1: What do American people call them? That sounds like it
- 35:39Speaker 1: was written by AI. I'm sorry? Was claude of of assistance?
- 35:45Speaker 1: Do you have an idea? I think so. Yeah. I'm
- 35:50Speaker 1: gonna call Sam Altman and ask you. Aliens call it
- 35:54Speaker 1: glip clarp? What dude? Americans call it? British people call
- 35:59Speaker 1: them pants? Americans call I want to say trousers, just
- 36:02Speaker 1: because no, they I think it. No, they call underwear,
- 36:11Speaker 1: so we call it underwear. They call it pants. I
- 36:13Speaker 1: need a British person on the phone. That delayed. That's
- 36:20Speaker 1: a weird question. You got a bunch of weird questions
- 36:22Speaker 1: this week. We're talking about that. Last one was really
- 36:24Speaker 1: good about the holidays, And just because you got Twilight
- 36:30Speaker 1: wrong doesn't mean it was a bad question. That was
- 36:32Speaker 1: pretty they would have got if you would have watched
- 36:34Speaker 1: the movies. Maybe you'll get this one right.
- 36:37Speaker 3: Question.
- 36:38Speaker 1: It's a spelling one. You can write it out, all right.
- 36:42Speaker 1: I hate spelling anything. Okay, let's spell anything. I'm gonna
- 36:46Speaker 1: list of things you hate in the meantime. There's a
- 36:49Speaker 1: little spelling. You hate math, you hate packing up your
- 36:52Speaker 1: things two weeks before you're leaving. True, I offered to
- 36:57Speaker 1: help them, Like, dude, let's start moving things over now. Yeah,
- 37:01Speaker 1: he's set in his ways. How do you spell the
- 37:02Speaker 1: word rendezvous? Oh? R A N R A n It's
- 37:13Speaker 1: like a R I N D. Well, I didn't use
- 37:16Speaker 1: my lifeline yet. Actually, oh, all right, technically yeah, R
- 37:22Speaker 1: A N D.
- 37:24Speaker 2: The only reason why I think that I have a
- 37:26Speaker 2: chance to know this is because there's this great song
- 37:28Speaker 2: from the eighties by Karen White called Secret Rendezvous.
- 37:32Speaker 1: Remember that song? No Happiness is where I think of
- 37:35Speaker 1: you and we could get together in Rendezvous be your time?
- 37:39Speaker 1: Remember that one? You remember that? Oh? Man, you gotta
- 37:41Speaker 1: look it up. It's a good one. Rendezvous. How do
- 37:44Speaker 1: you spell rendezvous? R A N D E? Yeah, n
- 37:50Speaker 1: me get a sharpie, all right, you see you think
- 37:54Speaker 1: it's r A N D. And that's what I heard
- 37:56Speaker 1: so far. Ryan.
- 37:57Speaker 2: It's weird because it doesn't hear it doesn't look like
- 38:00Speaker 2: way it sounds.
- 38:02Speaker 1: How do you spell rendezvous? R I n d e
- 38:06Speaker 1: v u z that's wrong, v u z rendezvous that's
- 38:12Speaker 1: how it's It's like r I n D. I think
- 38:18Speaker 1: it's like a rand, like a rand Rand of his
- 38:22Speaker 1: ladies and gentleman. He's attempting to spell rendezv I'm gonna
- 38:25Speaker 1: go to my lifeline ultimately.
- 38:26Speaker 2: But all right, well, I would like to figure it
- 38:28Speaker 2: out myself, but I feel like he's smart enough that
- 38:30Speaker 2: he knows r oh.
- 38:31Speaker 1: Maybe it's an r O ron r O n d
- 38:36Speaker 1: colder colder e v u z r O n d
- 38:43Speaker 1: e v u Z. Sorry, Bud, you're not even close. Okay,
- 38:46Speaker 1: So I'm gonna go to my lifeline. Then, can I
- 38:48Speaker 1: see what you spelled? How do you spell that? I'm
- 38:50Speaker 1: relying on you here, ben ty Ben better and not
- 38:54Speaker 1: let me down. He better be on a spell rendezvous.
- 38:58Speaker 1: That's it. Maybe r O n D there's no, no, No,
- 39:04Speaker 1: it's r e n oh oh r e n oh
- 39:08Speaker 1: r oh Try again, r E n d e v
- 39:14Speaker 1: u z No, am I closer? No? All right, there's
- 39:18Speaker 1: a Z in there. Yeah, but in the middle in
- 39:21Speaker 1: the middle. R O n D no O jesus, all right,
- 39:27Speaker 1: just give me the end. Run out of this. I
- 39:29Speaker 1: think I'm right. R E n d e z v
- 39:33Speaker 1: O U s Yes, you got you yeah, Rondez booz
- 39:39Speaker 1: sorry you were working on it. Well, you had the
- 39:42Speaker 1: right idea. I used my lifeline so I got a
- 39:45Speaker 1: correct Thank you very much. I'll s your handwriting. It
- 39:48Speaker 1: looks like rud dives ye non deuce no man, you're handwriting. Yeah,
- 39:55Speaker 1: I don't have good handwriting. I hope you're not going
- 39:57Speaker 1: to label your boxes when you move last, and put
- 40:00Speaker 1: the dog in with the records. Put the dog with
- 40:04Speaker 1: the This is where you go. Question number one? All right,
- 40:12Speaker 1: what do I got for you? Ben? I'm allowed to
- 40:14Speaker 1: come to you four times? Okay, here we go the
- 40:17Speaker 1: hell all right, We're gonna start with literature.
- 40:21Speaker 2: What famous Shakespeare play features the words to be or
- 40:25Speaker 2: not to be?
- 40:27Speaker 1: Again? Could go to your lifeline on the first question,
- 40:29Speaker 1: but Hamlet Hamlet? Final answer, No, it doesn't sound right.
- 40:45Speaker 1: I don't try it anyway. Hamlet. Were you forced to
- 40:52Speaker 1: read Hamlet? I probably was, and then I didn't do it,
- 40:56Speaker 1: and then somehow passed on the writing test. You know
- 40:59Speaker 1: what I mean. Yeah, I feel like I'm in the
- 41:01Speaker 1: same boat the summary. We used to direct the summaries
- 41:03Speaker 1: and be like, I'm a theater guy. I don't care
- 41:06Speaker 1: for Shakespeare. Oh really, yeah, I don't to be or
- 41:10Speaker 1: not to be? What's after that? Everybody know that is
- 41:13Speaker 1: the question? To be or not to be? That is
- 41:16Speaker 1: the question? Yes, what's after that? Is it? No blood?
- 41:21Speaker 1: Something like that? Does anybody know? Yeah? It's in the
- 41:24Speaker 1: public domain. You can look it up for educational podcast.
- 41:28Speaker 1: It's a literal script.
- 41:30Speaker 2: Anyway, Good job, you got that right. Thanks, congratulations.
- 41:33Speaker 1: Question too. I feel like my questions are too easy
- 41:37Speaker 1: this week. How about this? Are you smarter than a
- 41:38Speaker 1: fifth grader? Okay? How do you determine the area of
- 41:42Speaker 1: a square? How do you determine the area of a square?
- 41:53Speaker 1: Is it like that theorem Pythagoras? There is no what
- 41:58Speaker 1: it's called. I don't know. Do you know this? I
- 42:02Speaker 1: think he knows this. I'm going to go with Ben
- 42:03Speaker 1: for my lifeline for that. You're going to blow it
- 42:05Speaker 1: on question two. Kagorian theorem is for triangles. I was close.
- 42:09Speaker 1: Uh you said area? Yeah, triangles? Yeah? Oh yeah, triangles. Yeah,
- 42:14Speaker 1: that's what my guess.
- 42:15Speaker 2: A square post b squared eqals c square. That's the
- 42:17Speaker 2: only thing I remember from high school at all.
- 42:20Speaker 1: Do you know what it means? Yeah, a square post
- 42:22Speaker 1: b squaredical sea square. Yeah, exactly. Yeah. It's to do
- 42:29Speaker 1: the area. It's length times width. Yeah that one. Yeah,
- 42:33Speaker 1: you multiplied two sides. There you go, I got it right. Great,
- 42:37Speaker 1: if you want to cube it, yeah, ad height in
- 42:39Speaker 1: there too. Yeah. I don't remember any of that either.
- 42:42Speaker 1: I had to do that for my taxes. Oh yeah, length,
- 42:46Speaker 1: time's with Yeah, you got I have a home office,
- 42:49Speaker 1: so you get to measure the home office. So you
- 42:51Speaker 1: got to measure times with your office space. Have to
- 42:54Speaker 1: find the area of your new homes office space. I
- 42:58Speaker 1: have to hire. You can that percentage of your house
- 43:01Speaker 1: into your home office. How'd you do that with like
- 43:03Speaker 1: a tape measure? Yeah? I don't understand how tape measures work, dude.
- 43:07Speaker 2: Honestly, even I look at a ruler, I'm like, I
- 43:09Speaker 2: don't know what the hell I'm doing. It's a problem.
- 43:11Speaker 2: Even back in the day when I had to know
- 43:13Speaker 2: what was going on with the ruler, I was bad
- 43:15Speaker 2: with the measure.
- 43:15Speaker 1: It's it's numbers and physical activity at the same time.
- 43:19Speaker 1: That's tough. I don't think you'd be good at reading
- 43:21Speaker 1: the reading a tape measure either. I learned about measuring
- 43:24Speaker 1: tape when I was in like seventh grade, and you
- 43:27Speaker 1: still remember that I had to measure something. I want
- 43:29Speaker 1: to make sure it was at a good you know,
- 43:30Speaker 1: you know, I don't want to know what Mikey doesn't
- 43:33Speaker 1: have a ruler that goes past five inches? Yeah, gee,
- 43:36Speaker 1: I wonder why makes it look big? Then? Huh? Oh
- 43:39Speaker 1: my god? Three it's topped out, you know, geez or
- 43:46Speaker 1: more than all right, let's change the subject. What's next?
- 43:51Speaker 1: Stage names.
- 43:52Speaker 2: Her dad was a famous country star and music must
- 43:56Speaker 2: run in the family. Her birth name is Destiny Hope,
- 44:00Speaker 2: but you probably know her as what.
- 44:01Speaker 1: Isn't it like Miley Cyrus? Is that her real name?
- 44:04Speaker 1: I don't know, is it? I'm not allowed to her name.
- 44:13Speaker 1: I think it is? Is it Miley Cyrus? Final answer? Yeah,
- 44:20Speaker 1: oh that would have been my Oh okay, that was
- 44:23Speaker 1: my Wait, sorry clicked the wrong button, you did it? Yeah,
- 44:27Speaker 1: you're right so aggressively too, I know, because that was
- 44:29Speaker 1: mad that you were right. I clicked the wrong one.
- 44:31Speaker 1: Didn't even realize it. That was my I didn't know
- 44:32Speaker 1: how to read the reaction. I'm like, Ohm, I stupid
- 44:35Speaker 1: for not knowing it or something, and then you, yeah,
- 44:37Speaker 1: you made a mistake. Sorry, So I'm doing pretty well, dude.
- 44:41Speaker 1: I never watched that show. I feel like that was
- 44:43Speaker 1: kind of like a girl show, right Handah Montana, I
- 44:46Speaker 1: think so. But we talked about Disney Channel shows, a
- 44:48Speaker 1: Dike Carly show we were disputing too.
- 44:50Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't think that's a girl show, but I
- 44:51Speaker 2: think The Hand of Montana was kind of a girl show.
- 44:54Speaker 2: But uh, Hannah Montana, that ship's twenty years old now, dude.
- 44:57Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, she just did her like twenty year
- 44:59Speaker 1: special on Hulu. There are a couple of songs that
- 45:02Speaker 1: are pretty good, though you get the best of both
- 45:05Speaker 1: was remember that one? No, I never watched that show. Yeah,
- 45:08Speaker 1: I guess be in two thousand and six, you were,
- 45:10Speaker 1: you know, Yeah, I was like a grown man. That's crazy.
- 45:13Speaker 1: My roommate in college had a Hannah Montana poster on
- 45:16Speaker 1: our wall for other reasons, I'm sure question for I
- 45:21Speaker 1: feel like these are way too I made them way
- 45:23Speaker 1: too easy this week, though I think they're perfectly fine.
- 45:26Speaker 2: No, I think all right, you got to get this one, like,
- 45:30Speaker 2: you have to be very specific on this. Okay, what
- 45:33Speaker 2: does NCAA stand for nc double A?
- 45:37Speaker 1: You know what I mean? Like college? Yeah? Yeah, sports.
- 45:40Speaker 1: I don't have a lifeline left. No, you used it
- 45:43Speaker 1: because he definitely one hundred thousand percent knows this. Yeah,
- 45:45Speaker 1: of course he does. Yeah, that's a really collegiate something.
- 45:54Speaker 1: What's the end? I want to say North American? But
- 45:56Speaker 1: it's I'm gonna I'm gonna fucking butcher this. I don't know.
- 46:03Speaker 1: I don't know. You don't want to give me anything.
- 46:07Speaker 1: Come on, give me something the North? Stop looking around?
- 46:11Speaker 1: What's the end would it be? What's the North? Shut up?
- 46:15Speaker 1: I gotta pass it. There's too much pressure on you.
- 46:17Speaker 1: Guys are both glaring at me, and I hate it.
- 46:19Speaker 1: I think I know it all right. I'm going to
- 46:21Speaker 1: ben bonus lifelive motus life FLI. Yeah, that's so not
- 46:24Speaker 1: I've been rendered stupid right now. I'm too high, Ben,
- 46:28Speaker 1: I say, as a former NCAA Division one athlete, I
- 46:33Speaker 1: should know this. I don't confidently know it because it
- 46:38Speaker 1: might be like a word or two off, but I'm
- 46:40Speaker 1: thinking national National. God, I'm an idiot collegiate athletic Association.
- 46:47Speaker 1: That's what it is. What it is. For some reason,
- 46:50Speaker 1: I didn't go to National. I just want to say
- 46:51Speaker 1: North American. Yeah, that was pretty good the end.
- 46:54Speaker 2: If you're in South America, screw you. Only North Americans aloud.
- 47:00Speaker 2: I guess, I guess there is only North American colleges
- 47:04Speaker 2: in n C. Double a right, it's hard to fly US.
- 47:07Speaker 1: It's hard to fly a women's volleyball team from Brazil
- 47:09Speaker 1: to California. A little expensive could do it, though technically
- 47:13Speaker 1: I'm right. Otherwise, Yeah, we've got snacks. Time for the
- 47:19Speaker 1: monthly minute. Yeah, I remember last week we were talking
- 47:20Speaker 1: about some snack. Do you remember which one I said
- 47:22Speaker 1: I would bring this week? Oh, this is a real
- 47:25Speaker 1: because you said you never Oh I had one before.
- 47:27Speaker 2: Yeah, you're like new obsession snack, the Deperouze or some
- 47:31Speaker 2: ship dunkaroo dunkaroose.
- 47:33Speaker 1: You never had the dunku. You never had a dunk
- 47:35Speaker 1: n Let's try him. It's time for much meaning. Yeah,
- 47:43Speaker 1: not too bad. On the nutrition facts, one hundred twenty calories.
- 47:48Speaker 1: These were revived a while ago. These these were retired
- 47:51Speaker 1: or dead or gone. Somebody bought somebody about the rights
- 47:55Speaker 1: to them. So I'm not. I'm not sure if it's
- 47:57Speaker 1: the same recipe as it wis to be. It's damned close. Yes,
- 48:00Speaker 1: up for now. The crackers that come with them are
- 48:02Speaker 1: little discs. They're not the old like kangaroo that's fine
- 48:06Speaker 1: shape or whatever. So anyway, Joel, now these are crackers
- 48:08Speaker 1: with icing that you can dip the crackers in. So
- 48:11Speaker 1: do you want chocolate or do you want like a vanilla?
- 48:13Speaker 1: Probably vanilla? Yeah, yeah, there you go. Thanks, they're goingto
- 48:17Speaker 1: some dumb What kind do you want? Vanilla? Please? Yeah?
- 48:20Speaker 1: These they're too small? Yeah, so small? Yeah, you're gonna
- 48:25Speaker 1: want another one. Do you just not like cookies? You
- 48:27Speaker 1: complain about all kinds of cookies. It just complains, Yeah,
- 48:31Speaker 1: this girl scout cookies are too expensive. These are too small, right, cook?
- 48:37Speaker 1: Oh thanks a lot. Although I'm going to complain about
- 48:39Speaker 1: the I'm going to complain about the wrapping on these
- 48:41Speaker 1: because it's a little small hands. You have little hands
- 48:46Speaker 1: over there, That's true. I have small hands too. You
- 48:49Speaker 1: know why they're so small because they're made for like,
- 48:52Speaker 1: you know, eight year olds, right, Yeah, that's true. Classic
- 48:57Speaker 1: snack though, super good. I'm trying to chocolate here. I
- 49:01Speaker 1: feel like these are too expensive? How much are these?
- 49:06Speaker 1: I got a six pack. I think they were like
- 49:07Speaker 1: eight bucks. Is that good? I don't know. I don't know.
- 49:14Speaker 1: Do you like them? I do. They're not bad. I'm
- 49:17Speaker 1: not gonna say it's bad, but I don't know if
- 49:18Speaker 1: I go out of my way to buy this. I
- 49:20Speaker 1: feel like this is one of those snacks you could
