- 2:40Speaker 2: just dumb it all right.
- 2:42Speaker 1: So Sister Wives Season nineteen, episode twenty one, if you can.
- 2:47Speaker 2: Believe for donculous and title the Land of Milk and
- 2:52Speaker 2: Honey question mark.
- 2:53Speaker 1: Oh wow, I don't know if that's.
- 2:55Speaker 2: Referring to Tieta Farms.
- 2:57Speaker 1: I think so. I think it's referred to its referring
- 3:00Speaker 1: to Janelle's trek across the nation and her new home
- 3:04Speaker 1: in North Carolina. That's what I think it.
- 3:06Speaker 2: Is, probably, yeah, And I mean that's where we start
- 3:09Speaker 2: the episode. We start still on the way to North Carolina.
- 3:12Speaker 2: Last we left was when Janelle and Christine and David
- 3:17Speaker 2: were taking shots in some bar in Louisiana or something, right,
- 3:20Speaker 2: And so now they're on the road again. David's driving
- 3:24Speaker 2: the U haul for Janelle, which is very sweet, very nice,
- 3:28Speaker 2: very nice, And we have some interesting conversations between Christine
- 3:32Speaker 2: and David in that U haul, and then we have
- 3:35Speaker 2: some interstitials between Cody and Robin God and Janelle. Pause,
- 3:41Speaker 2: what because I forgot to ask you what your major
- 3:44Speaker 2: takeaway was? And I really did want to ask you, like,
- 3:47Speaker 2: after you watch this entire episode, did you walk away
- 3:50Speaker 2: with a specific flavor or a vibe And if.
- 3:53Speaker 1: So, what was that?
- 3:54Speaker 2: I mean, Robin looks less terrible, okay, And these interstitials
- 4:00Speaker 2: I think it's very generous of you. I know, I'm
- 4:02Speaker 2: being really nice starting off on a good note. Okay,
- 4:04Speaker 2: but she was a major bstch this episode. Yeah, Like
- 4:10Speaker 2: she was just talking some smack about Mary. She was
- 4:13Speaker 2: kind of throwing some digs towards Christine and Janelle a
- 4:16Speaker 2: little bit, calling them all toxic. I'm like, you, little snake,
- 4:21Speaker 2: little bit.
- 4:22Speaker 1: Mask off. Yeah, mask is coming off. It's slipping, yeah,
- 4:25Speaker 1: slipping off.
- 4:25Speaker 2: It's kind of interesting.
- 4:27Speaker 1: My major takeaway was like, this is what it would
- 4:29Speaker 1: be if the show was just about Cody and Robin
- 4:33Speaker 1: and their kids, Like the baptism stuff and the Josephines
- 4:37Speaker 1: outside all dressed as if it's Easter, which it's not
- 4:40Speaker 1: because it's June of twenty twenty four, pretending that Aura
- 4:44Speaker 1: just got baptized, which she did not. Everything is a performance.
- 4:47Speaker 1: Everything is fake, and it's all just set up to
- 4:52Speaker 1: talk about Robin and Cody being soulmates or how fantastic
- 4:56Speaker 1: apparent Cody or Robin is. I mean, like, this is
- 4:59Speaker 1: all it is, and I seriously, I seriously could have
- 5:03Speaker 1: done without seeing them at all, and it would have
- 5:06Speaker 1: been a better episode. Like I can spend all day
- 5:09Speaker 1: with Janelle talking about her plans her Farmers Only dot com.
- 5:14Speaker 1: I can even listen to Christine Babylon about what she's
- 5:18Speaker 1: doing with David. And I loved the scenes with Mary
- 5:22Speaker 1: and especially with jen like that could have been the
- 5:24Speaker 1: whole thing, and I would never have missed Cody and
- 5:27Speaker 1: Robin and their progeny. Yeah, all rotten Hale, according to
- 5:32Speaker 1: Brittany in Hale.
- 5:35Speaker 2: Honestly, I just didn't understand that whole baptism.
- 5:38Speaker 1: We don't need them. We literally only need to refer
- 5:41Speaker 1: to them and what might be happening as their lives
- 5:44Speaker 1: are destroyed. Yeah, extraneously, Like we don't need to have
- 5:47Speaker 1: scenes with them at all, right.
- 5:49Speaker 2: We just need Newsweek articles about them filing for bankruptcy.
- 5:52Speaker 1: Yes, j for all of that. That's all like people
- 5:56Speaker 1: talking about that but never ever having to see them again.
- 5:58Speaker 1: That's like how I felt about it.
- 6:00Speaker 2: I agree with you.
- 6:02Speaker 1: Okay, how do you guys feel about it?
- 6:03Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 6:04Speaker 1: Like, did you have any major takeaways after you watch
- 6:06Speaker 1: this episode? If so, drop down in the comments or
- 6:08Speaker 1: go ahead and stand. Oh Beatrice over here a DM
- 6:11Speaker 1: on the Instagram or Patreon or Patreon. Yeah, absolutely, Okay,
- 6:15Speaker 1: back to the episode. Sorry, that I took us on
- 6:17Speaker 1: a detail.
- 6:18Speaker 2: It's okay.
- 6:19Speaker 1: So we've got Janelle and Christine and David making the
- 6:23Speaker 1: truck all the way to North Carolina. There were some
- 6:25Speaker 1: interesting conversations in the U haul YEP, like what struck.
- 6:29Speaker 2: You Well, it was interesting how they were talking about
- 6:33Speaker 2: marriages keeping score. I think David was the one that
- 6:36Speaker 2: brought it up. He's like, you should never keep score
- 6:38Speaker 2: in a marriage, because Christine was talking about how everything
- 6:41Speaker 2: had to always be like fifty to fifty and now
- 6:44Speaker 2: she doesn't have to worry about it because David's still amazing.
- 6:47Speaker 2: He's like the most perfect husband. And David's like, yeah,
- 6:50Speaker 2: you should never keep score in a marriage. That's like
- 6:52Speaker 2: when it's doomed. And then Christine makes a comment about
- 6:56Speaker 2: how she was always keeping score in her marriage with Cody,
- 7:01Speaker 2: specifically with Robin. She would look over at Robin and
- 7:03Speaker 2: be like, Wow, she has better dishes and a better
- 7:06Speaker 2: couch and better clothes and better everything, and I'm left
- 7:10Speaker 2: with all of the scraps. And that was kind of
- 7:13Speaker 2: spelling doom for their family and for their marriage.
- 7:18Speaker 1: Yes, and then pan to Robin on the couch and
- 7:21Speaker 1: she's talking, well, oh my gosh, if we have to
- 7:24Speaker 1: keep scored, then like are we even friends? Are we
- 7:26Speaker 1: even in a family together? Like it makes no sense.
- 7:29Speaker 1: Are they supposed to be on the same team? Which
- 7:31Speaker 1: is easy for you to say when you're the one
- 7:34Speaker 1: who's getting all the stuff, you're the one that's taking
- 7:38Speaker 1: all the resources. You're the one that's getting all the
- 7:41Speaker 1: money and the McMansions and the benefit of this family.
- 7:45Speaker 1: But when somebody else isn't, and indeed, when they're getting
- 7:48Speaker 1: the dregs and the scraps, you come in acting like
- 7:51Speaker 1: that's not valid. Come on, Robin, no, you cannot believe
- 7:55Speaker 1: that yourself. That does I think I don't think she
- 7:59Speaker 1: believed that.
- 8:00Speaker 2: She's been tough in her farts for so many years.
- 8:03Speaker 2: I really do think she believes it because it makes
- 8:06Speaker 2: her think that she's not the villain in this whole
- 8:11Speaker 2: entire situation. And she can't acknowledge that she's the villain.
- 8:14Speaker 2: She can't acknowledge that she's even at fault for anything.
- 8:17Speaker 2: It's everybody else has to manage their jealousy, everybody else
- 8:20Speaker 2: has to stop comparing their apples to my orange, like
- 8:23Speaker 2: it's everyone else's fault.
- 8:25Speaker 1: Well, she kind of comes close when she talks about
- 8:28Speaker 1: the failings of the family, like the things they could
- 8:31Speaker 1: have done differently, like God could have been more centered
- 8:34Speaker 1: in their relationships, et cetera, et cetera. But like she
- 8:36Speaker 1: never gets to the part where she says, and what
- 8:39Speaker 1: I could have done differently exactly, and this is what
- 8:42Speaker 1: I learned from all of this, and this is how
- 8:43Speaker 1: I'm changing my behavior going forward. Like it, we never
- 8:46Speaker 1: get in the ballpark.
- 8:47Speaker 2: Of that, yeah, never. And then we have another conversation
- 8:50Speaker 2: with Christine and David about camping, and this is like
- 8:54Speaker 2: in the context of Christine mentioning how Cody wanted everybody
- 8:59Speaker 2: to always look very nice, and he would praise the
- 9:02Speaker 2: wives when they would like wear a lot of makeup
- 9:04Speaker 2: and they'd wear their push up bras. I'm just joking,
- 9:07Speaker 2: but like when they would like look really nice and
- 9:09Speaker 2: done up for him. And Robin was always prioritizing that,
- 9:14Speaker 2: like when they went camping as a family, Christine and
- 9:18Speaker 2: Janelle would be slaving away caring for all of the
- 9:21Speaker 2: thousand of kids that were on this camping trip, cooking
- 9:25Speaker 2: and cleaning and sweating and looking like crap. And then
- 9:29Speaker 2: there's Robin and we have a flashback.
- 9:31Speaker 1: Which I love. I love that because they really don't
- 9:35Speaker 1: do that at all. They don't like and there are
- 9:37Speaker 1: so many cataloged lies and we're constantly screaming from the
- 9:42Speaker 1: dumpster that can you just flash back to season X,
- 9:45Speaker 1: Y or Z. And here we have it. We have
- 9:46Speaker 1: the actual flashback to that camping trip. I want to
- 9:50Speaker 1: say it was the first or the second season, and
- 9:52Speaker 1: that's the camping trip that Hunter gets really upset and
- 9:55Speaker 1: Janelle has to correct him, right, because how dare you
- 9:57Speaker 1: have feelings exactly? You're not entitled to feeling yep. But
- 10:00Speaker 1: we see her sitting on her ass putting non makeup.
- 10:03Speaker 1: She didn't look six months pregnant to me, I know,
- 10:06Speaker 1: but that.
- 10:07Speaker 2: Was her justification. Well, the producer showed the splashback of
- 10:10Speaker 2: her doing her makeup while everybody else is slaving away.
- 10:13Speaker 1: Well Mary's not well, Mary's.
- 10:15Speaker 2: Sitting there with her friend watching her do makeup. Right, So,
- 10:19Speaker 2: and then we have Rob and being like, well, yeah,
- 10:21Speaker 2: on that camping trip, it was six months pregnant. I
- 10:23Speaker 2: was really sick and I was up all night on
- 10:26Speaker 2: my hands and knees, throwing up outside of my tent.
- 10:30Speaker 2: And so that's why I was doing my makeup because
- 10:31Speaker 2: I had to get ready for the day because I
- 10:33Speaker 2: was sick.
- 10:34Speaker 1: I just think she's lying, So, yeah, bald is it
- 10:37Speaker 1: bald faced? Is it a bold face?
- 10:40Speaker 2: She's lying? Yeah?
- 10:41Speaker 1: Why are you always lying? And she's just making it
- 10:44Speaker 1: up on the fly. Maybe she didn't expect the producer
- 10:47Speaker 1: to ask that question, and she's like, what they said, what?
- 10:50Speaker 2: Oh?
- 10:50Speaker 1: No, absolutely not. It was six months pregnant.
- 10:52Speaker 2: You were No, you weren't.
- 10:53Speaker 1: You don't look like you have any belt. Maybe you're
- 10:55Speaker 1: a little bit pregnant, maybe you could have some morning sickness.
- 10:58Speaker 1: But the fact of the matter is you let these
- 11:00Speaker 1: other women do all of the heavy lifting while you
- 11:03Speaker 1: sat your pretty self down in your decel genes and
- 11:07Speaker 1: you put your eyeliner rod.
- 11:08Speaker 2: For your man on a camping trip, which is just ridiculous.
- 11:13Speaker 2: And then this was where Christine made a comment that
- 11:16Speaker 2: I wish she would have expanded on about how Cody
- 11:18Speaker 2: that camping trip is like praising Robin over and over again,
- 11:22Speaker 2: about how beautiful she looked and how amazing she looked
- 11:25Speaker 2: in front of all these other wives, And I'm like,
- 11:26Speaker 2: I want more examples like this. I want more of
- 11:30Speaker 2: the wives to say stories like this because I want
- 11:33Speaker 2: more of a window into how they were treated differently
- 11:37Speaker 2: off camera, because we don't really see moments like that,
- 11:41Speaker 2: especially in the earlier seasons. Like Cody is very careful
- 11:44Speaker 2: to make us believe that he cares about all of
- 11:48Speaker 2: the other wives. We don't get to see those moments
- 11:51Speaker 2: off camera where he's like, oh my god, Robin, you're
- 11:53Speaker 2: so beautiful. O my god. Right, and then not like
- 11:55Speaker 2: praising Christine or Janelle or any of the other ones,
- 11:58Speaker 2: or maybe putting them down. We just don't know, Like
- 12:01Speaker 2: I don't know. It was just an interesting comment that
- 12:03Speaker 2: Christine made very much.
- 12:04Speaker 1: And of course all along as an audience, we've been
- 12:08Speaker 1: sniffing it out and we have our monocles and we
- 12:11Speaker 1: can sense what's going on the disturbance in the forest,
- 12:14Speaker 1: but like to actually have these open conversations, that's what
- 12:17Speaker 1: we have been waiting for. Yep, And we get some
- 12:19Speaker 1: of that from Mary. I know we're rushing ahead, but
- 12:21Speaker 1: Mary does bring us some tea in this episode, which I.
- 12:24Speaker 2: Loved a little bit, like a tiny little saucer of tea.
- 12:27Speaker 1: She's still a bit defensive of Cody, but yes, it's something.
- 12:31Speaker 2: It is something and then we have like an interstitial
- 12:33Speaker 2: with Cody and Robin where Cody says they're like moving
- 12:38Speaker 2: on from all of the toxicity of all the other
- 12:42Speaker 2: wives leaving him and him and Robin are like really
- 12:45Speaker 2: trying to work on their relationship, make things better. Sure,
- 12:49Speaker 2: then we have Robin saying there was a lot of
- 12:52Speaker 2: unfair fighting going on behind the scenes, a lot of
- 12:55Speaker 2: people punching below the belt, calling each other names. And
- 13:00Speaker 2: I think she said something, oh, jumping to conclusions, and
- 13:03Speaker 2: all of these fights were what broke up the family.
- 13:06Speaker 2: And I'm like, can you explod on that?
- 13:07Speaker 1: Yes, please elaborate.
- 13:09Speaker 2: I would love to know who was fighting who.
- 13:11Speaker 1: And I feel like when Robin is saying this is
- 13:14Speaker 1: what we were doing, I think what she's really saying
- 13:17Speaker 1: is that's what I was doing. I was not fightings faily.
- 13:21Speaker 1: And I think also she might be referring to keeping
- 13:25Speaker 1: school and things of that nature, to the schedule, to
- 13:28Speaker 1: the amount of time that Cody spent at her house
- 13:30Speaker 1: versus everybody else, and so this unfair of fighting, I mean,
- 13:34Speaker 1: I think it's coming from you, Robin. I think the
- 13:36Speaker 1: call is coming from inside the house.
- 13:39Speaker 2: She makes a couple comments like that that I'm like, oh,
- 13:41Speaker 2: you're referring to yourself.
- 13:43Speaker 1: You're telling on yourself.
- 13:44Speaker 2: Yep, but you think you're telling on the otherwise, but
- 13:46Speaker 2: it's you. And then we finally arrive in North Carolina.
- 13:51Speaker 2: I guess Janelle's going to be living with Caleb and
- 13:53Speaker 2: Maddie in a room above their garage, which I thought
- 13:56Speaker 2: was really sweet, actually yeah, and really great for her.
- 13:59Speaker 2: And she's sold everything, She's terminated all her releases, like
- 14:03Speaker 2: she's done. She straight up says the only ties that
- 14:06Speaker 2: she has to flag Staff now are Savannah and Gabe,
- 14:10Speaker 2: because I guess they still live out in town.
- 14:12Speaker 1: Which is interesting because when we were actually moving, leaving
- 14:19Speaker 1: flag Staff and getting in the U haul to start
- 14:22Speaker 1: this journey and go to the storage unit in the
- 14:27Speaker 1: sky and then get on through to Louisiana, like that
- 14:30Speaker 1: was like January of twenty twenty four, I do believe,
- 14:34Speaker 1: and at that time, Garrison was still with us, and
- 14:37Speaker 1: so she referred to Garrison then in those particular scenes.
- 14:42Speaker 1: But now we see sufficient time has passed and we've
- 14:45Speaker 1: got Janelle kind of correcting the record, like Harrison is
- 14:48Speaker 1: no longer in flag Staff, And for me, I'm like,
- 14:52Speaker 1: can we take a beat, though, yep, can we pause
- 14:56Speaker 1: and address that? I would have loved that? Ye, I
- 15:00Speaker 1: am not owed that. I acknowledge it, But I mean,
- 15:03Speaker 1: just like, when are we going to talk about this,
- 15:06Speaker 1: because at least in the timeline with Aurora getting baptized,
- 15:10Speaker 1: which we'll talk about, and with the move and the
- 15:15Speaker 1: farms and the acquiring of the property in North Carolina,
- 15:19Speaker 1: like Garrison has past, are we just not going to
- 15:21Speaker 1: mention it until Suki's talking to us about it.
- 15:24Speaker 2: I don't think we're going to talk about it at all, unfortunately, Wow,
- 15:27Speaker 2: and I just don't understand it. Me and Ethel were
- 15:29Speaker 2: actually talking about it today and she was making some
- 15:31Speaker 2: good points about like it might have been Janelle's call
- 15:35Speaker 2: that and we've talked about the show for like Janelle
- 15:37Speaker 2: probably was the one that said we're not going to
- 15:39Speaker 2: talk about him at all on the show. Or it
- 15:42Speaker 2: could have been TLC's call because he was texting TLC
- 15:46Speaker 2: producer the night that he died, and so maybe TLC
- 15:49Speaker 2: wants to not be liable at all, and so they
- 15:52Speaker 2: just were like maybe they pitched it to the family
- 15:54Speaker 2: and they were like, yeah, we're just not going to
- 15:56Speaker 2: mention Garrison at all. And the family being the family
- 15:59Speaker 2: who's great is like, you know what, that's fair great.
- 16:02Speaker 2: We don't have to talk about it. And I mean,
- 16:04Speaker 2: like you had said, we are not owed anything as
- 16:06Speaker 2: the fans, We do not deserve any kind of conclusions
- 16:09Speaker 2: or anything like that. I just feel bad for the
- 16:12Speaker 2: memory of Garrison, for him to just be a bit erased, yes,
- 16:18Speaker 2: as if he.
- 16:19Speaker 1: Never was, as if he's not factoring in so deeply
- 16:23Speaker 1: and profoundly to Janelle's journey right now and to her
- 16:27Speaker 1: experience of exact life and all of the thoughts that
- 16:30Speaker 1: she's having right now acquiring this land in North Carolina,
- 16:33Speaker 1: Like that's I mean, I would really love to tap
- 16:36Speaker 1: into your spirit about that. And yeah, we're not out
- 16:41Speaker 1: that and she can do whatever she wants. Like from
- 16:44Speaker 1: a meta position, if we could all just pop up
- 16:46Speaker 1: out of this dimension for just one moment. You've shared
- 16:49Speaker 1: your entire life with us thus far, You've shared almost
- 16:53Speaker 1: all of Garrison's life with us. And the reality is,
- 16:56Speaker 1: though that we're so invested and a lot of us
- 16:59Speaker 1: out here actually have real love, concern, compassion, and care
- 17:03Speaker 1: for you, and we have our own ideas about how
- 17:06Speaker 1: we might honor this young man as well, and it's
- 17:09Speaker 1: just like it is a parasocial dynamic and in and
- 17:12Speaker 1: of itself, it is inherently toxic in that way. But
- 17:15Speaker 1: at the same time, I just feel like this could
- 17:18Speaker 1: be handled so much better in these moments. I agree,
- 17:22Speaker 1: And so all I will say besides everything I just did,
- 17:25Speaker 1: is that like I noticed it, Yep. I noticed it,
- 17:27Speaker 1: and it felt a little weird to me me too.
- 17:29Speaker 2: It felt like something was missing, and that's because there
- 17:32Speaker 2: is something missing. Yes, So yeah, it's a it's a
- 17:36Speaker 2: it's a difficult conversation. It's very convoluted. I don't want
- 17:39Speaker 2: to be like critical of the family and everything. If
- 17:41Speaker 2: this was their choice. It's just weird. It just feels weird.
- 17:44Speaker 1: Yes, as the viewer, yep.
- 17:45Speaker 2: But as we're in North Carolina, the mood is pretty light,
- 17:49Speaker 2: like Janelle's really happy to be out there. The only
- 17:52Speaker 2: things that are tying her are the kids that are
- 17:54Speaker 2: left out in Flagstaff and Coyote Pass, of course, and
- 17:57Speaker 2: Janelle says she's very eager to get that done and
- 18:01Speaker 2: over with so she never has to talk to or
- 18:04Speaker 2: refer to Cody ever again in her life. Based and
- 18:07Speaker 2: then we have Christine and David Janelle, Caleb, and Maddie
- 18:12Speaker 2: all in the kitchen, and then I guess David's gay
- 18:15Speaker 2: friend who gave him the lap dance, sorry, who gave
- 18:18Speaker 2: him the lap dance at their wedding is also there. Yeah,
- 18:22Speaker 2: and then this kind of prompts like some weird discussion
- 18:24Speaker 2: about setting up Janelle with a Mia yes, which was
- 18:28Speaker 2: kind of interesting.
- 18:29Speaker 1: It was interesting. And then later they kind of talk
- 18:32Speaker 1: about farmers only dot com, which is only dreamaine as
- 18:35Speaker 1: far as I'm concerned, because we continue to talk about
- 18:38Speaker 1: like it feels like we're dreaming all of us together.
- 18:41Speaker 1: Even Christine and David are dreaming of the same kind
- 18:43Speaker 1: of man for Janelle, this rough and tumble cowboy slash
- 18:47Speaker 1: farmer naturalist that she would love to be with. But
- 18:50Speaker 1: this is the segment in which we get to the
- 18:55Speaker 1: rock hard abs of Cody Brown, and Christine makes like
- 18:59Speaker 1: a little joke about it, like, well, we know what
- 19:01Speaker 1: kind of man you're gonna be looking on looking for
- 19:03Speaker 1: on the dating apps. He's got to have those rock
- 19:05Speaker 1: card apps, you know. And then cut to Janelle in
- 19:09Speaker 1: her talking head and she's like, I mean, according to
- 19:11Speaker 1: Cody Brown, And then cut to Cody Brown on the
- 19:15Speaker 1: couch girl. And he doesn't make a joke out of it,
- 19:19Speaker 1: which I totally would have, because that was a ludicrous
- 19:22Speaker 1: thing for you to say.
- 19:23Speaker 2: He's dead serious.
- 19:25Speaker 1: He's dead serious. He feels the need to clarify. He doubles,
- 19:29Speaker 1: stonelines it, he points with arrows to it. Oh, I'm sorry.
- 19:35Speaker 1: If I said rock hard apps, I meant washboard apps,
- 19:38Speaker 1: as if we all haven't seen the photographs of him
- 19:41Speaker 1: shopping for beer at the Pigley Wiggly with his big
- 19:44Speaker 1: old beer gut, as if we all cannot remember him
- 19:47Speaker 1: out in the lip products syphilitic pond with the prairie
- 19:49Speaker 1: dogs with just his underwear on his big old like
- 19:54Speaker 1: there was never a time since we've met you, I
- 19:57Speaker 1: would dare say, but she would washboard as only the
- 20:00Speaker 1: men in my smut books on the cover. Yeah, twenty
- 20:03Speaker 1: three years old have washboard apps. I just can't believe it.
- 20:06Speaker 1: He's a preposterous person.
- 20:09Speaker 2: Well, and he also wanted us to know that he
- 20:11Speaker 2: has buns of steel.
- 20:14Speaker 1: And I'm like, why, all right, you are in.
- 20:17Speaker 2: Your fifties, my guy, wow peaked years ago.
- 20:22Speaker 1: You are in your fifties.
- 20:23Speaker 2: You're bald, you are baldy and no, no offense to
- 20:26Speaker 2: people in your fifties. But I'm just like Cody, you
- 20:28Speaker 2: are not twenty three.
- 20:29Speaker 1: No, and I don't think you ever had washboard apps.
- 20:32Speaker 1: But it really does underscore how attached to image he
- 20:36Speaker 1: is and how even in his own mind, he has
- 20:39Speaker 1: this idea of himself as being well put together and handsome.
- 20:43Speaker 1: And Janelle only ever wanted me for this sex, Hudie.
- 20:47Speaker 1: She only ever saw me as a piece of meat.
- 20:49Speaker 1: And I'm like, I can assure you on behalf of Janelle.
- 20:52Speaker 1: It has been a long, long, long, long, long long
- 20:54Speaker 1: long time since she has ever seen you as a
- 20:57Speaker 1: piece of meat. Cody exactly well.
- 20:59Speaker 2: And he also said he couldn't be a person, like
- 21:03Speaker 2: a vulnerable person with Janelle. So that was like the
- 21:06Speaker 2: other part of it, which I thought was really interesting,
- 21:08Speaker 2: And I'm like, what are you talking about.
- 21:10Speaker 1: I feel like with.
- 21:10Speaker 2: Janelle, you guys had a sweet relationship. You said that
- 21:14Speaker 2: a lot in the earlier seasons. We could kind of
- 21:16Speaker 2: see the chemistry with you guys, yes, And you guys
- 21:19Speaker 2: would talk and you were very companionable. Like I don't
- 21:22Speaker 2: understand what you mean there. That just seems like a
- 21:24Speaker 2: dig And nobody sees you as a piece of meat.
- 21:27Speaker 1: Absolutely not no one. I feel like it is his
- 21:31Speaker 1: caveman attempt to kind of slut shame her because I
- 21:35Speaker 1: do think that there was a period of time probably
- 21:38Speaker 1: approximate to when he's saying this. So again, this takes
- 21:41Speaker 1: us back to the cul de Sac in Vegas, when
- 21:43Speaker 1: we're talking about a sexual renaissance. There was a period
- 21:46Speaker 1: of time where maybe Janelle was very interested in connecting
- 21:49Speaker 1: with him in that way and maybe pursued him in
- 21:52Speaker 1: that way, maybe more than the other wives did. And
- 21:56Speaker 1: so he's still kind of hanging on to that, and
- 21:58Speaker 1: he's using it as some kind of a to shame
- 22:01Speaker 1: her for like having a healthy sex drive and wanting
- 22:04Speaker 1: to be with her husband, which I think he probably
- 22:06Speaker 1: also did with Christine as well. So like he's just
- 22:09Speaker 1: a piece of crap all the way around every day
- 22:13Speaker 1: and twice on Sundays, he can't say a nice thing
- 22:15Speaker 1: about any of these women to save his life, These
- 22:18Speaker 1: women who gave him absolutely everything that he has, These
- 22:22Speaker 1: women who paid into funneled their resources into the LLC
- 22:27Speaker 1: that I allege he stole from in my opinion, and
- 22:30Speaker 1: so did Robin so she could buy Etsy doll Yeah,
- 22:32Speaker 1: at sixty thousand dollars a year, and you don't have
- 22:35Speaker 1: one nice thing, not even one nice thing you could
- 22:38Speaker 1: say about Janelle, who, by the way, sidebar side bar,
- 22:42Speaker 1: looks beautiful.
- 22:44Speaker 2: Of course she does.
- 22:45Speaker 1: Looks beautiful, like you can just tell when someone has
- 22:48Speaker 1: walked away from a truly toxic and poisonous relationship, like
- 22:52Speaker 1: something shifts in their energy. She looks ethereal, she looks lighter,
- 22:56Speaker 1: she's wearing like different colors. She just looks so good
- 23:01Speaker 1: and I'm so happy for her. Me too, she got
- 23:03Speaker 1: rid of him.
- 23:04Speaker 2: Oh yeah. Honestly, all three of the OG wives are
- 23:07Speaker 2: looking great. I mean, like Mary lost all of her
- 23:10Speaker 2: way yea. Christine is also glowing because you know, David's
- 23:13Speaker 2: eating that bucks.
- 23:15Speaker 1: I hope so for her face.
- 23:16Speaker 2: And they're all like so much happier, like when we
- 23:19Speaker 2: just got out of the Rewinds. I'm like watching season nineteen,
- 23:22Speaker 2: I'm like, dang, these women look better than they did
- 23:26Speaker 2: twelve years ago. And season six it's crazy what the
- 23:30Speaker 2: codification does. Tease, yes, and then you look at Robin, who, like,
- 23:34Speaker 2: I know, I said she looked better in these interstitials
- 23:36Speaker 2: at the beginning of.
- 23:37Speaker 1: This better for her over the last few years.
- 23:39Speaker 2: Yeah, but like earlier season Robin and season nineteen Robin,
- 23:45Speaker 2: two different people.
- 23:46Speaker 1: In yeah, well even season eighteen Robin seventeen Robin eyebrows
- 23:51Speaker 1: versus this Robin. I mean, Sam pic someth's going on.
- 23:56Speaker 1: Something's happening over there for a couple of these wives.
- 23:59Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 23:59Speaker 1: But yeah, and she's trying a little harder with the
- 24:01Speaker 1: ming h. Yeah, we've got some lashes that are trying
- 24:04Speaker 1: to emerge.
- 24:05Speaker 2: The curls are tightening.
- 24:06Speaker 1: So I think she's hearing the feedback, and I think
- 24:09Speaker 1: she sends it to it. And I think she looks fine.
- 24:11Speaker 1: I mean she looks dour. I mean, yeah, she looks sour.
- 24:15Speaker 1: She looks like a bummer if a bummer were a person.
- 24:19Speaker 1: But I mean nice lashes. I guess, I guess.
- 24:23Speaker 2: I guess who pay for those?
- 24:24Speaker 1: Though, well I thought it was Miss Scara, but I'm
- 24:26Speaker 1: old school. People are so in those in now right.
- 24:28Speaker 2: Oh yeah, those are fake lashes flash texts. Yeah, those
- 24:31Speaker 2: are fake lashes for the show.
- 24:32Speaker 1: They don't look good. Oh no, sorry, maybe they do.
- 24:36Speaker 2: But then we have everybody heading to Janelle and Maddie's
- 24:40Speaker 2: property that they just bought It's one hundred and sixty
- 24:43Speaker 2: five acres of completely rugged land, undeveloped rawland. And I
- 24:49Speaker 2: was looking at that and I was like so intimidated,
- 24:51Speaker 2: were you Yeah, I'm just like I could not imagine
- 24:53Speaker 2: like developing that. And I'm totally on the side of
- 24:56Speaker 2: like Christine and Mary when they're like I would never
- 24:58Speaker 2: find like Janelle. But I am so happy for her
- 25:02Speaker 2: because you can tell she is so invigorated by this.
- 25:06Speaker 2: She's like so excited, Like she's like, I know, it's
- 25:08Speaker 2: going to be a lot of work. It's going to
- 25:10Speaker 2: be several years. We have to do a lot of permitting,
- 25:12Speaker 2: we have to chop down all of these trees, and
- 25:14Speaker 2: a lot of landscaping and all this stuff. But I'm
- 25:17Speaker 2: so excited. It's gonna be really great. But she did
- 25:19Speaker 2: say something that made me a little nervous because she said, financially,
- 25:24Speaker 2: everything is riding on this farm to be successful.
- 25:28Speaker 1: That scares me. It scares me a lot, quite a lot,
- 25:31Speaker 1: especially since last week you told us that their permits
- 25:35Speaker 1: didn't come through, or else they didn't get them or
- 25:38Speaker 1: something spung on with like the regulation aspect of it.
- 25:41Speaker 1: And now Caleb's growing trees behind his home or something
- 25:45Speaker 1: like that.
- 25:46Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 25:46Speaker 1: It was kind of giving with Janelle, like the fervent
- 25:51Speaker 1: energy that she had, that sort of almost manic energy
- 25:54Speaker 1: to get out on Coyote Pass and have like a
- 25:56Speaker 1: casita or something and getting the blueprints together and nobody
- 25:59Speaker 1: else is yeah, like co signing any of this, and
- 26:02Speaker 1: she was just almost desperate to make it happen, and
- 26:05Speaker 1: at the end of the day, it did not happen
- 26:07Speaker 1: for her. And so I'm just hoping that and trusting
- 26:12Speaker 1: that she's learned from some of these mistakes that she's
- 26:16Speaker 1: not putting all of her eggs in one basket. I
- 26:19Speaker 1: think she is, though you think she's I mean.
- 26:24Speaker 2: Really yeah, I mean she said, financially everything is riding
- 26:28Speaker 2: on us.
- 26:28Speaker 1: I'm worried. And she did just release on Instagram like
- 26:32Speaker 1: photos of them clearing the plot for her home, which
- 26:36Speaker 1: is going to be a fifty by fifty home, which
- 26:38Speaker 1: I looked it up on my calculator. That's a twenty
- 26:40Speaker 1: five hundred square foot Oh, it's going to have like
- 26:43Speaker 1: a wrap around port. But like it feels to me
- 26:46Speaker 1: like once Coyote Pass was fund like sold and then
- 26:49Speaker 1: funded to everybody got their payout. Then she started maybe
- 26:52Speaker 1: moving on the home. I'm not sure if that is
- 26:56Speaker 1: what happened, but maybe she needed that money, that injection
- 26:59Speaker 1: of CA maybe in order to do If it's like
- 27:02Speaker 1: that though, like if it's like that, if it's tight
- 27:05Speaker 1: like that, like I'm waiting for the Coyote Pass money
- 27:07Speaker 1: in order to start just breaking land on this home,
- 27:10Speaker 1: then it is a little nerve wracking. However, the silver
- 27:14Speaker 1: lining here is I think how established Maddie and Kayleb
- 27:17Speaker 1: bar yes, and I don't think they're going to be
- 27:19Speaker 1: getting rid of their home anytime soon. I think that
- 27:23Speaker 1: Janelle will always have a garage apartment if she wants it.
- 27:27Speaker 1: I just hope it works for her.
- 27:29Speaker 2: I'm a little nervous me too, And I mean, Cody's
- 27:31Speaker 2: not involved in this vendurin at all, so like they
- 27:34Speaker 2: might actually be able to get stuff done and like
- 27:36Speaker 2: actually develop the land like Janelle had wanted to do
- 27:40Speaker 2: on Coyote Pass. So I'm really hoping that everything works
- 27:44Speaker 2: out the best for her and she develops her farm
- 27:46Speaker 2: and she has a very successful tree farm or whatever. Right,
- 27:50Speaker 2: but that comment made me a little nervous.
- 27:52Speaker 1: Did you hear Maddie's comment in the minivan when they
- 27:56Speaker 1: were driving, or Christine and her were kind of sitting
- 27:58Speaker 1: next to each other, and Christine like, well, at least
- 28:00Speaker 1: you guys are going to be developing your land like
- 28:03Speaker 1: we had Coyote Pass and we never were able to
- 28:05Speaker 1: develop it. And Maddie says something like, yeah, well, Cody
- 28:08Speaker 1: Brown says things, but he doesn't really do things.
- 28:11Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 28:12Speaker 1: That was get him shaking shang knife and the kidknife,
- 28:16Speaker 1: and he's gonna hear that. He's gonna be so mad
- 28:19Speaker 1: because in his mind he feels like he has accomplished
- 28:23Speaker 1: so much based on his station in life. He doesn't
- 28:26Speaker 1: understand that it was all these women who gave that
- 28:28Speaker 1: to him.
- 28:29Speaker 2: Yep. And I think that that was also around the
- 28:31Speaker 2: same time where Christine had made the comment of like, yeah,
- 28:33Speaker 2: I learned quite late that if I waited for Cody,
- 28:36Speaker 2: I would never get anything done. But Janelle was always
- 28:40Speaker 2: super independent and apparently during their marriage she would just
- 28:43Speaker 2: go and take like girls' trip solo by herself. She'd
- 28:46Speaker 2: be like peas out going Candy Bay.
- 28:48Speaker 1: That's why we never saw that though, I know right, yeah,
- 28:50Speaker 1: like we are currently during doing a rewind. We were
- 28:53Speaker 1: in season six but I mean, maybe we'll see it
- 28:56Speaker 1: in the coming seasons, but like I don't remember that,
- 29:00Speaker 1: and like I would have loved to see her actually
- 29:03Speaker 1: taking that initiative and doing that right, But that's just
- 29:06Speaker 1: another thing I think that she probably hid from the viewers.
- 29:09Speaker 2: Probably she seems like a very private person, like she
- 29:12Speaker 2: just wants to keep her own stuff. Yeah, like she'll
- 29:14Speaker 2: show what she wants us to see, but other than that,
- 29:17Speaker 2: we don't see anything else. So I was very surprised
- 29:20Speaker 2: to hear that.
- 29:20Speaker 1: Yeah, me too.
- 29:21Speaker 2: And then we have up in Pairwan got Mary and
- 29:26Speaker 2: her lesbian lover Jen.
- 29:27Speaker 1: Okay, okay, but they are.
- 29:31Speaker 2: Talking some smack a little bit about Robin em Burrow,
- 29:36Speaker 2: and you.
- 29:37Speaker 1: Know that this whole scene is just set up so
- 29:40Speaker 1: that they can have this conversation, and that Jen is
- 29:44Speaker 1: just waiting, Hanny, She's just champing at the bit. She
- 29:47Speaker 1: can't wait to start talking about Robin. And so as
- 29:50Speaker 1: soon as Mary walks in, she's like, did you get
- 29:52Speaker 1: my email? Like, Mary's like, what email? And she's like, wow,
- 29:57Speaker 1: that guy wrote back the guy who wrote before, because
- 30:00Speaker 1: apparently he's ordered something from my sister wive's closet and
- 30:05Speaker 1: never received the actual merchandise, and so he reached out
- 30:09Speaker 1: via the website, no response, and so he took it
- 30:13Speaker 1: upon himself to reach out to Mary, and so Mary
- 30:15Speaker 1: took a screenshot, sent it to Robin and said, hey,
- 30:18Speaker 1: this is your bum ass shit. Can you please take
- 30:21Speaker 1: care of this? But apparently she has it, and this
- 30:24Speaker 1: person has reached out to Jenna's second time, and they're like,
- 30:27Speaker 1: what are we gonna do about it? And then we
- 30:28Speaker 1: have that little thing with Robin all uncomfortable in her
- 30:32Speaker 1: talking head talking about my Sister Wives closet.
- 30:35Speaker 2: Yeah, and how it's put a pause for right now,
- 30:38Speaker 2: as if it's going to get restarted right like you're
- 30:41Speaker 2: not gonna do crap with this, like, so miss me
- 30:44Speaker 2: with that, but it's all pause. And apparently some people
- 30:47Speaker 2: sneak orders in.
- 30:49Speaker 1: Right as if it's the customer's fault. Yeah, knock on
- 30:53Speaker 1: to the website and they prowled around looking at all
- 30:56Speaker 1: of their Sister Wives wares and purchased and had the
- 31:00Speaker 1: audacity to send me money that I did not refund. Yeah,
- 31:04Speaker 1: did I fulfill their orders? How dare they? And that's
- 31:06Speaker 1: what's crazy.
- 31:07Speaker 2: I'm like, is it going into Robin's account or does
- 31:09Speaker 2: it go into like some family joint account that nobody's.
- 31:13Speaker 1: Robin's account, right, Robin's account.
- 31:16Speaker 2: But like, how did nobody notice this until the customer
- 31:20Speaker 2: had to reach out and be like, I ordered this
- 31:21Speaker 2: six months ago, where's my chunky, ugly bracelet?
- 31:25Speaker 1: Right?
- 31:25Speaker 2: But I thought that was great. Here's like I screenshot
- 31:28Speaker 2: it and sent it to Robin. I'm not dealing with.
- 31:30Speaker 1: It, right, Yeah, But I mean just wild that she's
- 31:34Speaker 1: still stealing money from people after all these years. She's
- 31:38Speaker 1: nothing if not consistent.
- 31:40Speaker 2: Robin, of course, and then this kind of opens up
- 31:44Speaker 2: the conversation for Jen and Mary to talk about Mary's
- 31:48Speaker 2: relationship with Robin or lack thereof, and Jen kind of
- 31:52Speaker 2: just gets right into it and says that Robin was
- 31:55Speaker 2: never really a good friend to Mary. She would talk
- 31:58Speaker 2: behind her back, she would hurt her feelings, and she just,
- 32:02Speaker 2: I don't know, just would make crap up. And this
- 32:04Speaker 2: is where Mary starts opening up about COVID specifically, was like,
- 32:08Speaker 2: seems like that was the I don't want to say catalyst.
- 32:12Speaker 1: Well, the clarifying time in Mary's life where like Mary
- 32:16Speaker 1: says that she was following all of those I dare say,
- 32:20Speaker 1: ridiculous rules that Cody and Robin had for the entire family,
- 32:24Speaker 1: but that they didn't follow themselves, because they ended up
- 32:26Speaker 1: bringing COVID into their home visa either housekeeper or maid
- 32:29Speaker 1: or nanny or whatever. But Mary sitting there in her
- 32:33Speaker 1: big rental with like a playground in the back that
- 32:38Speaker 1: Salinari could come over and play on, which she said,
- 32:42Speaker 1: I mean, she's implying that she actually got that property
- 32:45Speaker 1: so that the kids could come over and hang out
- 32:47Speaker 1: with her. Yeah, And it sounds like her and Robin
- 32:49Speaker 1: had discussed when they moved to flag Staff that they
- 32:52Speaker 1: would be hanging out, and so Mary had this existing
- 32:56Speaker 1: and a live expectation that she would be called mingling
- 33:00Speaker 1: her life with these folks, and it sounds like they
- 33:02Speaker 1: gave her an assurance that that would be the case.
- 33:05Speaker 1: And then she gets to Flagstaff and like during all
- 33:07Speaker 1: of COVID, she's alone, nobody's there, nobody's coming to visit,
- 33:12Speaker 1: least of all Robin. And what they're getting to the
- 33:16Speaker 1: heart of I think is that Robin likes to talk
- 33:18Speaker 1: a good game on camera and talk about how close
- 33:21Speaker 1: we are, and she's may for him, but when push
- 33:25Speaker 1: comes to shove, she just left her in the dust. Yeah,
- 33:29Speaker 1: it's actually really really sad.
- 33:31Speaker 2: It's really messed up because Mary we've talked about before,
- 33:35Speaker 2: is very very loyal, and she was very loyal to
- 33:38Speaker 2: not only Cody, but to Robin and was friends with
- 33:41Speaker 2: Robin for all of these seasons, and then COVID hits
- 33:45Speaker 2: Mary follows all the rules and Robin ghosts her, like
- 33:49Speaker 2: not only doesn't like doesn't tell her like, oh, you
- 33:52Speaker 2: can't come over, totally ghosts her, doesn't talk to her
- 33:55Speaker 2: at all. And then Robin's justification for this and her
- 33:58Speaker 2: interstitial is just like, well, our schedules just like couldn't
- 34:02Speaker 2: line up, and like we both really wanted to hang out,
- 34:04Speaker 2: but like it just didn't work out that way.
- 34:06Speaker 1: Sorry, Like I had five kids, I had to homeschool,
- 34:09Speaker 1: and then the year after that, Mary was traveling so much.
- 34:13Speaker 1: So I just know that we really wanted to but
- 34:15Speaker 1: it just didn't work out, like you said, And I'm
- 34:17Speaker 1: just like, God, Robin, ever, do you hear yourself talking?
- 34:21Speaker 1: And how is she going to feel when she actually
- 34:24Speaker 1: watches this back and sees Mary start to call out
- 34:28Speaker 1: some of this behavior. And we even kind of touch
- 34:30Speaker 1: upon when Mary is leaving flag Staff and Cody and
- 34:34Speaker 1: Nate are over helping her to pack and here comes sour.
- 34:38Speaker 2: Rob God with the junk journal.
- 34:41Speaker 1: With her junk journal, like, and the cameras are there though,
- 34:45Speaker 1: so here comes Robin to say goodbye. But like, did
- 34:47Speaker 1: she help actually pack up? Was she part of the
- 34:50Speaker 1: moving process? Absolutely not. She only came for her time
- 34:54Speaker 1: on camera. So yes, call this out.
- 34:57Speaker 2: And that was so good that Jen brought that up.
- 34:59Speaker 2: She like literally tells Mary, if Nate and Cody and
- 35:03Speaker 2: the cameras weren't there, Robin would not have showed up.
- 35:06Speaker 2: And Mary and her interstitials like, yeah, I wasn't even
- 35:08Speaker 2: expecting her to show up. I didn't know. I didn't realize.
- 35:11Speaker 2: She was so sad. And then Jen and Mary kind
- 35:15Speaker 2: of make fun of the junk Journal just a little bit.
- 35:18Speaker 2: They don't like outwardly say.
- 35:19Speaker 1: It, but Jenn's like, it's fabulous, your fabulous gift.
- 35:23Speaker 2: And Mary laughs about it. Right, I'm like, yay, more
- 35:26Speaker 2: of this, please, Yes, more of this mean girl energy.
- 35:28Speaker 2: I want it. And then Mary talks about how there's
- 35:32Speaker 2: been a divide between her and Robin that has grown
- 35:36Speaker 2: over the last few years, especially during COVID. That was
- 35:38Speaker 2: definitely like the thing the straw that broke the camel's back, really,
- 35:43Speaker 2: And this is where Mary started questioning how close her
- 35:46Speaker 2: and Robin actually were. And she's kind of grieving this
- 35:51Speaker 2: relationship that she thought she had with Robin, but she
- 35:54Speaker 2: doesn't even know if it was genuine. And I just
- 35:57Speaker 2: want more. I want Mary say more about that.
- 36:01Speaker 1: Yeah, but even in these moments, she's still kind of
- 36:03Speaker 1: covering for Robin. She's like, I don't think she did
- 36:06Speaker 1: anything maliciously. I'm like, really, Mary, you don't think she
- 36:10Speaker 1: knew full well that you were alone in your home
- 36:14Speaker 1: during a worldwide pandemic, probably very afraid and also lonely.
- 36:19Speaker 1: And I think her dog died during those years as well. Yes,
- 36:22Speaker 1: she has a dog, and I think the dog dies.
- 36:25Speaker 1: And you know, Leon, I think at the time was
- 36:27Speaker 1: in Chicago and then they moved somewhere else. I don't know. Yeah,
- 36:31Speaker 1: but like Mary's alone, and you could have been there
- 36:36Speaker 1: for her. You could have been a friend, even if
- 36:38Speaker 1: you just text it, even if you just call. But
- 36:40Speaker 1: the way it sounds is like crickets, Like Robin's not
- 36:44Speaker 1: even calling to check in at all. And then of
- 36:46Speaker 1: course we had like Christmas and various holidays like Isabelle's
- 36:52Speaker 1: in town and Mary would love to see Isabelle, but
- 36:55Speaker 1: nobody tells Mary.
- 36:56Speaker 2: It's just like so bad, It's really bad. And this
- 37:00Speaker 2: out multiple times. She's like, you know, she would act
- 37:02Speaker 2: like your best friend but then not talk to you
- 37:04Speaker 2: at all, and she would hurt your feelings and that
- 37:07Speaker 2: was totally messed up. And it's weird how both Jen
- 37:10Speaker 2: and Mary are very quick to say that Robin wasn't
- 37:14Speaker 2: intentionally manipulative. They actually put the onus more on Cody,
- 37:18Speaker 2: that Cody became obsessed with Robin and her Diesel jeans,
- 37:22Speaker 2: and Mary calls Robin his shiny new toy, which was interesting,
- 37:27Speaker 2: but they don't elaborate more on.
- 37:29Speaker 1: That, right, I mean, there is some good information coming through,
- 37:34Speaker 1: like apparently there was a conversation. It feels a little
- 37:37Speaker 1: bit like Robin initiated it, like hey, next time you're
- 37:39Speaker 1: in Flagstaff, you want to hook up, we can get
- 37:42Speaker 1: some coffee or something. And Mary very directly says, well,
- 37:46Speaker 1: I don't know how to be friends with my ex
- 37:48Speaker 1: husband's wife, yeah, which shocks Robin, like she's like, what
- 37:52Speaker 1: are you talking about? Like being in a sister wives
- 37:54Speaker 1: relationship is way more difficult. Than just having a friendship
- 37:58Speaker 1: with me. But is it the Are you sure.
- 38:03Speaker 2: Something like that, especially to freaking Mary, who was like
- 38:08Speaker 2: begging basically for Cody to stay married to her and
- 38:12Speaker 2: love her, and.
- 38:13Speaker 1: Begging to be able to come over and see the kids. Yeah,
- 38:16Speaker 1: the kids come over and hang out with her, even
- 38:18Speaker 1: if it's outside during COVID begging.
- 38:20Speaker 2: But sister wife relationship is harder than being friends with
- 38:25Speaker 2: your husband's favorite wife that he chose over everybody else,
- 38:30Speaker 2: not only just the OG wives, but all of his
- 38:32Speaker 2: other OG children. Yeah, it's like crazy that Robin even
- 38:35Speaker 2: said that. But apparently Robin.
- 38:37Speaker 1: Was very hurt. Yeah, very surprised and disappointed.
- 38:42Speaker 2: And then she makes a little dig to Mary, saying, well,
- 38:45Speaker 2: but I heard through the Great Vine that Mary was
- 38:49Speaker 2: talking bad about me and bashing me publicly with her friends,
- 38:53Speaker 2: to her friends, and so like, I don't know what
- 38:56Speaker 2: to do that, Like, that's clear to me that she
- 38:58Speaker 2: doesn't want to have a relationship with me. So I'm
- 39:01Speaker 2: just gonna have to deal with that.
- 39:02Speaker 1: And so I'm wondering what she's referring to here. I
- 39:05Speaker 1: would really love to know when these talking heads are
- 39:09Speaker 1: being filmed, I'm wondering if like she's one of us,
- 39:13Speaker 1: if she's in the dumpster with us when Mary and
- 39:16Speaker 1: Jen go live Friday with friends, and if she's like
- 39:19Speaker 1: got some sort of a stock account and she's she's
- 39:23Speaker 1: following those two and listening to every single thing that
- 39:26Speaker 1: they've said, and maybe she's heard some of the things
- 39:29Speaker 1: that Jenn has said. Is this filmed after like all
- 39:32Speaker 1: of these other scenes with Mary and her random friends
- 39:36Speaker 1: in Utah and things. I guess she's seen some of
- 39:37Speaker 1: this footage. Has production like clued her in on some
- 39:42Speaker 1: of the things that are being said, or is this
- 39:44Speaker 1: just stuff that she's picking up because she's following it
- 39:46Speaker 1: on social media? What do we think?
- 39:48Speaker 2: Oh my god, I don't know. It might be a
- 39:50Speaker 2: bit of both. But let us know your theories below
- 39:52Speaker 2: in the comments. But I thought that was kind of interesting.
- 39:54Speaker 2: I'm like, oh, so you're listening.
- 39:56Speaker 1: Oh yeah, she's your Definitely, she's definitely listening. I think
- 40:01Speaker 1: that the most interesting thing was that Mary said that
- 40:06Speaker 1: it would kind of take a lot for them to
- 40:09Speaker 1: get their friendship back to a good place. Like there's
- 40:13Speaker 1: a lot of anger, there's a lot of sadness, and
- 40:15Speaker 1: there's a lot of grief that they would have to
- 40:17Speaker 1: work through. And I'm like, talk more about that anger though, yeah,
- 40:21Speaker 1: talk more about the feminist rage. That's what I want
- 40:24Speaker 1: to hear about. But like, there are things that they
- 40:27Speaker 1: would have to work through that I do not think
- 40:29Speaker 1: Robin personally. I don't think Robin is capable of it.
- 40:31Speaker 1: And she even says I don't think Robin would would
- 40:34Speaker 1: be able to hear and like witness what it is
- 40:37Speaker 1: that I have to say. And I don't know that
- 40:40Speaker 1: she would be honest with me, which is really saying
- 40:43Speaker 1: I think Robin would probably lie to me.
- 40:45Speaker 2: Yep. And I'm like, yes, yes, finally Mary is awakening. Yes,
- 40:49Speaker 2: give me more of this, break your nda. I don't
- 40:52Speaker 2: care talk crap about this. I want to know what
- 40:56Speaker 2: the kinds of things you want to say to Robin are, Like,
- 40:59Speaker 2: please tell us, please give us the deeps.
- 41:01Speaker 1: But she has to do it in this kind of sideways,
- 41:05Speaker 1: of course manner in which she has these conversations and
- 41:08Speaker 1: she allows people like Jen to take the lead and
- 41:10Speaker 1: say the things that she wants to say, but like
- 41:13Speaker 1: she doesn't have the courage yet to say. And this
- 41:16Speaker 1: is the part of the healing process, healing process that
- 41:19Speaker 1: I really need her to move through so she can
- 41:21Speaker 1: get to the feminine rage part in which she's calling
- 41:23Speaker 1: all these people in the carpet. That's what I want
- 41:25Speaker 1: to get to expedite it.
- 41:27Speaker 2: Yes, jeez, But nonetheless it was still a very interesting conversation.
- 41:31Speaker 1: Indeed, more of that, more of that.
- 41:33Speaker 2: Her engine, I want more of that. I want more
- 41:35Speaker 2: e gent I like her, I do as well. And then, last,
- 41:37Speaker 2: but not least, we have Cody and Robbie and flag
- 41:42Speaker 2: Stack and we talk about Aurora's watering trough course baptism
- 41:53Speaker 2: because it trot it was.
- 41:55Speaker 1: I actually went to the website for her church. I've
- 41:58Speaker 1: already forgotten the name of it. It's like Nighted or
- 42:00Speaker 1: something Urban Hope Church or something in Flagstaff, and I
- 42:04Speaker 1: like looked all because I wanted to know who they're
- 42:06Speaker 1: affiliated with. I wanted to know if they were in
- 42:08Speaker 1: Assemblies of God or like, who are they like denominationally speaking?
- 42:13Speaker 1: But I was not able to sess that out from
- 42:15Speaker 1: the endless verbiage found on their about page. I'm like, okay,
- 42:18Speaker 1: what do you get a butt? What are you affiliated with?
- 42:21Speaker 1: I don't know, But like right on the front page
- 42:23Speaker 1: was a picture, Oh no, no, on the Google search was
- 42:26Speaker 1: a picture of the trough.
- 42:27Speaker 2: Stop it.
- 42:27Speaker 1: Yeah, like multiple pictures that people had uploaded of the
- 42:31Speaker 1: trough where people got baptized, which I mean, I get it.
- 42:33Speaker 1: Not everybody can be born and raised in Hawaii and
- 42:36Speaker 1: get like baptized in the beach. Yeah, on a beautiful
- 42:40Speaker 1: day in your bikini. I mean, but I'm sure it
- 42:43Speaker 1: was a lovely moment for Aurora.
- 42:47Speaker 2: I'm sure it was. But like I literally I could
- 42:49Speaker 2: care less.
- 42:50Speaker 1: I don't think.
- 42:51Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't care about it, not at all. I
- 42:54Speaker 2: don't care about everybody talking about their own baptists.
- 42:57Speaker 1: Care about Aurora. I'm sorry. You seem lovely, but I
- 42:59Speaker 1: don't care.
- 42:59Speaker 2: I care about her at all.
- 43:00Speaker 1: You seem really happy about Jesus and everything, and I'm
- 43:03Speaker 1: happy for you, but I don't care. That's because your
- 43:07Speaker 1: mother and father set it up in such a way
- 43:09Speaker 1: that we really never got to know you exactly, and
- 43:12Speaker 1: we really never got to spend any time with you,
- 43:14Speaker 1: and all of a sudden in season nineteen, I'm gonna
- 43:16Speaker 1: start trotting you out in some sort of a pr
- 43:19Speaker 1: campaign to get us to like them, and has nothing
- 43:21Speaker 1: to even do with you. I'm not invested in your
- 43:24Speaker 1: faith journey. I don't care yep. And they're so simpering,
- 43:30Speaker 1: just a timid and oh I just please again some
- 43:35Speaker 1: feminine rage, like break out of the cycle of abuse
- 43:39Speaker 1: and religious abuse. I Handmaid's Tale vibes and stream up.
- 43:45Speaker 2: And I'm like, move out of your creepy parents' house already,
- 43:48Speaker 2: and like live your own life and wake up to
- 43:51Speaker 2: the fact that your parents are demons.
- 43:53Speaker 1: Yeah, they're awful people. I mean, you're going to church,
- 43:55Speaker 1: but you can't recognize a demon. Oh, you're wrestling against
- 43:58Speaker 1: principalities and powers. I live in your house. You can
- 44:02Speaker 1: call this coming.
- 44:05Speaker 2: Get out. And I was like, I was feeling so
- 44:08Speaker 2: bitter seeing the photos of Cody with Aurora during the
- 44:12Speaker 2: baptism and like whispering in her ear and like smiling
- 44:16Speaker 2: like he's this proud dad. I'm like, you can't even
- 44:19Speaker 2: see your other kids, the other kids that you raised,
- 44:22Speaker 2: that you brought into this world, that didn't ask.
- 44:23Speaker 1: You to see them. He won't see them, No, I
- 44:27Speaker 1: literally I know. But I mean I'm just pedantic, like
- 44:29Speaker 1: he doesn't even care about them, but he's willing to
- 44:32Speaker 1: show up to Aurora's weird ass trough baptism, right, and
- 44:36Speaker 1: he's And this is after we just had a season
- 44:38Speaker 1: of him questioning his face, questioning his relationship with God,
- 44:43Speaker 1: and not believing anymore in his prior religion. And yet
- 44:46Speaker 1: he's telling us that as he's who, I don't know
- 44:50Speaker 1: why he's there baptizing Aurora, Like why you're not a
- 44:53Speaker 1: part of this church. You're not a part of this faith.
- 44:55Speaker 1: You're in a totally different religion. But you're there, and
- 44:58Speaker 1: as you are baptizing her, you're whispering in her ear
- 45:02Speaker 1: like your your au B Mormon baptism doctrine words, Like
- 45:07Speaker 1: you're not even there for her process. You're still there
- 45:10Speaker 1: to push your own bs on this girl. It's all
- 45:14Speaker 1: about you, Cody, huh. At the end of the day,
- 45:16Speaker 1: of course it is.
- 45:16Speaker 2: And this was again like a total PR stunt for
- 45:19Speaker 2: him to try and rehab his image, like fucking Tom
- 45:23Speaker 2: Sandoval on VPR, like him being like, look, I'm a
- 45:26Speaker 2: really good dad in present and I pray for my
- 45:28Speaker 2: daughter's baptism. But it's like, what about your other kids
- 45:31Speaker 2: in flag stuff that you don't even talk to. You
- 45:34Speaker 2: couldn't even wish Savannah a happy birthday.
- 45:36Speaker 1: You didn't even talk to Savannah for months after you
- 45:38Speaker 1: fought with her mother at Christmas.
- 45:39Speaker 2: Like, what the heck? I just I hated this so much.
- 45:42Speaker 1: I just don't like it. And sidebar because you sent
- 45:45Speaker 1: me a post on Reddit from I think it was
- 45:48Speaker 1: today in which people were talking about the baptism. Yeah,
- 45:52Speaker 1: and somebody actually went to the church's instagram. It looked
- 45:56Speaker 1: like it was an Instagram post in which they're featuring
- 45:59Speaker 1: Aurora in her baptism. They're doing it because they're talking
- 46:03Speaker 1: about like, come on in to be baptized. So two
- 46:06Speaker 1: for one say, oh Jesus is right here. Yeah, that's awesome.
- 46:11Speaker 1: But they're like talking about baptizing and they've got a
- 46:13Speaker 1: picture of Aurora and it is dated April, like I
- 46:16Speaker 1: think twentieth twenty thirty twenty, so something like that, late
- 46:18Speaker 1: April twenty two four. That doesn't mean that she got
- 46:23Speaker 1: baptized that week. It doesn't mean she got baptized that month,
- 46:28Speaker 1: but it does seem to imply that that's around the
- 46:31Speaker 1: time that it happened. And so people out there, at
- 46:34Speaker 1: least on Reddit right now are kind of having this
- 46:36Speaker 1: issue with the fact that Garrison passed early March. If
- 46:42Speaker 1: you recall, we have that scene with Aurora and Cody
- 46:47Speaker 1: and Robin in their kitchen in the McMansion, where Aurora
- 46:52Speaker 1: broaches the subject of getting baptized, and we have Easter
- 46:56Speaker 1: stuff out and about Easter, which happened after Garrison passed,
- 47:02Speaker 1: and they're pretending there's, you know, this wonderful moment in
- 47:06Speaker 1: the family about Aurora's baptism, and we're not even addressing
- 47:10Speaker 1: what has actually just happened, this monumental, catastrophic thing that
- 47:13Speaker 1: has just happened in the entire family. You would think
- 47:16Speaker 1: that that would be pre eminent in their mind and
- 47:18Speaker 1: in their consciousness. But now we're gonna pretend that we're
- 47:20Speaker 1: so happy for Aurora. And around that time, it does
- 47:24Speaker 1: seem that Aurora went out and got her baptism and
- 47:27Speaker 1: Cody participated in it.
- 47:29Speaker 2: Yep.
- 47:29Speaker 1: While which is fine, but I mean, like, while your
- 47:32Speaker 1: entire family is so shell shocked over the passing of
- 47:38Speaker 1: their beloved child and sibling, and this is what you're
- 47:41Speaker 1: out here doing. This is what you're out here promoting
- 47:45Speaker 1: with your other family. It was just like, I'm of
- 47:50Speaker 1: two minds. I want Aurora to have a dad. I
- 47:52Speaker 1: want Aurora to have a baptism. I want Aurora to
- 47:55Speaker 1: have a faith. That's great. I love that for you,
- 47:57Speaker 1: although I don't care about you at all. At the
- 47:59Speaker 1: same time, this very moment in the family, people are
- 48:04Speaker 1: stricken with grief, and why are we focusing on this?
- 48:08Speaker 1: And why are we making a storyline now for the show?
- 48:12Speaker 2: And I think on that Reddit post there were a
- 48:13Speaker 2: couple of people commenting about how this storyline was used
- 48:19Speaker 2: probably as filler for all of the Garrison footage that
- 48:23Speaker 2: they got rid of, and so that's why we're like
- 48:26Speaker 2: kind of seeing this, and that's why we have the
- 48:29Speaker 2: family celebration dinner at Josephine's Bistro, which apparently was in.
- 48:33Speaker 1: June four photographs of them wearing those same outfits out
- 48:38Speaker 1: at Josephine's that was taken by some raccoon out there
- 48:41Speaker 1: with the monocle and a cameraut June of twenty twenty fours.
- 48:45Speaker 1: So they're pretending once again, they're performing. They're pretending that
- 48:50Speaker 1: this has happened right after Auro's baptism. So all of
- 48:53Speaker 1: y'all are lying already in the premise, you're all lying here, yep,
- 48:56Speaker 1: or or even you and Brianna, even you taking your
- 48:59Speaker 1: jobs and all that. But it's just like the entire
- 49:02Speaker 1: thing sickens me. These people are gross ass people who
- 49:05Speaker 1: have no souls yep, their soulless zombie ghouls.
- 49:10Speaker 2: And it's just so annoying to watch, Like as a
- 49:14Speaker 2: kid of divorce, Like, my perspective on this is like
- 49:17Speaker 2: Cody's acting like a divorced dad. Like he divorces from
- 49:21Speaker 2: his other wives, and he already did this many years ago.
- 49:23Speaker 2: But like he divorced from his other wives, he finds
- 49:26Speaker 2: a new woman, his soul meet. He's got this new family,
- 49:30Speaker 2: and he just like completely forgets and disregards his old
- 49:34Speaker 2: family that he created.
- 49:36Speaker 1: And I think he loved I think he loved those kids.
- 49:39Speaker 2: Of course he did, yeah, but he just completely forgets
- 49:42Speaker 2: about it. And like this is my own perspective, So
- 49:44Speaker 2: don't come for me. If you had a divorced dad
- 49:46Speaker 2: that was like nice or whatever, I did it and
- 49:49Speaker 2: your daughter didn't either. Unfortunately, like the divorced dads that
- 49:53Speaker 2: we've experienced literally just forgot about their previous family. And
- 49:57Speaker 2: it's really unfortunate. And that's what is watching all of
- 50:01Speaker 2: this that like Cody just doesn't even regard as other family.
- 50:05Speaker 1: It's not even a blip. On the radar.
- 50:08Speaker 2: It's he's already got his family, he's got his other kids,
- 50:11Speaker 2: he's got his soulmate.
- 50:12Speaker 1: He's got his soulmate, and that's it, right, And.
- 50:14Speaker 2: Like we're at Josephine's bistro or whatever, and we're having
- 50:17Speaker 2: this like wholesome conversation with a family, but it's so gross.
- 50:22Speaker 2: We start talking about soulmates for some reason.
- 50:25Speaker 1: Well, we start talking about Aurora's baptism and she I'm
- 50:28Speaker 1: sure she believed that maybe she could talk about herself
- 50:30Speaker 1: for a little while and people would be but it's
- 50:33Speaker 1: actually just this layup for them to be able to
- 50:36Speaker 1: talk about their relationship. And he's talking about other pivotal
- 50:40Speaker 1: moments in her life that'll be just as great as
- 50:43Speaker 1: getting married to Jesus in the draw and it's either her. Yeah,
- 50:48Speaker 1: she mentions marriage, like my marriage day will also be
- 50:51Speaker 1: one of the most important days in my life. And
- 50:54Speaker 1: then Brianna says something snide.
- 50:57Speaker 2: Something scripted, being like, well, yeah, like, we're so lucky
- 51:01Speaker 2: to have been raised by you two, because you guys
- 51:03Speaker 2: raised us to marry our soulmates and we would be
- 51:07Speaker 2: fools not to do.
- 51:08Speaker 1: But she's saying it in such an exaggerated way that
- 51:11Speaker 1: you know, she's in my opinion, she's taking a dig
- 51:13Speaker 1: at Christine who complained about the fact that Robin and
- 51:16Speaker 1: Cody were soulmates.
- 51:18Speaker 2: Yep. And then we have this conversation with Cody and
- 51:20Speaker 2: Robin about the meaning of soulmates, and Cody's like, well, yeah,
- 51:24Speaker 2: I didn't realize that Robin was my soulmate when I
- 51:27Speaker 2: married her, and I never thought of her as my
- 51:29Speaker 2: soulmate until later. Whereas Robin in season one or whatever
- 51:35Speaker 2: episode where's he's he's my soul mate. And this was
- 51:40Speaker 2: kind of interesting because Robin brings this up and says
- 51:44Speaker 2: that that was actually an unfair comment for her to make,
- 51:48Speaker 2: and she didn't realize it at the time because she
- 51:49Speaker 2: had never been in a polygamist marriage before, and now
- 51:55Speaker 2: she realized.
- 51:55Speaker 1: In fast I know allegedly, although you'll mom was just
- 52:00Speaker 1: a mistress who saw her husband all the week, is
- 52:03Speaker 1: did the first wife even know about your ba ba exactly?
- 52:06Speaker 2: So I thought that was an interesting admission, kind.
- 52:10Speaker 1: Of a very roundabout way to actually approach the idea
- 52:15Speaker 1: of an approximation of taking accountability for something as she did.
- 52:18Speaker 1: Because Janelle goes on to say and Of course, Christine
- 52:22Speaker 1: goes on to say, like, it's just not something you
- 52:24Speaker 1: say or do in a polygamous family structure, because that's
- 52:27Speaker 1: going to obviously imply that the other women don't have
- 52:31Speaker 1: that kind of a relationship with the husband, and that's
- 52:34Speaker 1: gonna make people feel bad.
- 52:36Speaker 2: Yes, And so Robin tells that to Cody. Cody was like,
- 52:41Speaker 2: I guess flattered that she considered him her soulmate and
- 52:46Speaker 2: then now he considers her his soulmate, and I don't care.
- 52:51Speaker 2: Maybe have some weird interstitial about how they're so in
- 52:53Speaker 2: love and the kids watch them and are all goo
- 52:55Speaker 2: goo google about Okay, god.
- 52:57Speaker 1: You all sound real weird. Your vampire children are vampiring,
- 53:00Speaker 1: They're weird.
- 53:01Speaker 2: I'm like, read the room, bro, Like, you just have
- 53:05Speaker 2: three divorces with these women talking about how you didn't
- 53:07Speaker 2: care about them, didn't love them, You have the loss
- 53:10Speaker 2: of your child, you don't talk to your other kids,
- 53:12Speaker 2: and you're talking about how you're a fool for Robin.
- 53:14Speaker 2: Nobody cares, No one likes you.
- 53:16Speaker 1: It's so tone deaf, it's so inappropriate. It really they
- 53:19Speaker 1: don't understand. I just feel like they think they're cooking
- 53:22Speaker 1: out here. Oh they like Oh my god, they're gonna
- 53:25Speaker 1: love this. They're gonna love this whole baptism thing. And
- 53:27Speaker 1: they're really gonna see Cody. Hell, like you showed up
- 53:29Speaker 1: for her on the trough that day, was such a
- 53:31Speaker 1: good You're there that day and you were like really
- 53:33Speaker 1: a good dad. Yeah to Aurora, and like you love
- 53:35Speaker 1: me so much. And the kids even see it. Just
- 53:37Speaker 1: say that though, yeah, tell them that. The kids are
- 53:39Speaker 1: always looking and they just adorus and this is such
- 53:41Speaker 1: a happy family. If they see that, they'll believe that
- 53:45Speaker 1: exact And it's just the exact opposite that ends up
- 53:49Speaker 1: happening time and time again. It's these scripted, stupid, performed
- 53:53Speaker 1: conversations that everybody can see right through. And if they
- 53:56Speaker 1: only told the truth, right, if they simply told the truth, like,
- 54:01Speaker 1: we'd have much more respect for all of them. And
- 54:04Speaker 1: the sad thing is that they're roping their dumb kids
- 54:07Speaker 1: into it. And I'm staking of the adults. I'm not
- 54:09Speaker 1: talking about Slinari. They're adorable, but like these adult other women,
- 54:13Speaker 1: thank God, Dayton's not. Why wouldn't Dayton be there on
- 54:16Speaker 1: the day of Hurricane Sinierra slash Baptist Like you would
- 54:19Speaker 1: think Dayton would be there, but he's nowhere to be
- 54:22Speaker 1: fine found furthering our conspiracy and our idea that he
- 54:26Speaker 1: has just been like, I gotta go. I cannot associate
- 54:29Speaker 1: with you dregs of humanity anymore.
- 54:31Speaker 2: I know. I want him to end up like Colin
- 54:33Speaker 2: Goslin and start doing these e news interviews with.
- 54:36Speaker 1: People and little please please choose to see please please.
- 54:46Speaker 2: I mean, come on, I need some of these kids
- 54:48Speaker 2: to start spilling stuff. Yes, And then after the whole
- 54:53Speaker 2: Soulmate talk, I'm barfing in my mouth and the Mazzonory
- 54:58Speaker 2: Robin also makes a comment about how the reason why
- 55:03Speaker 2: they all broke up as a family was everyone was
- 55:05Speaker 2: too focused on their jealousy and in it for themselves
- 55:09Speaker 2: and didn't have God involved enough in their relationships. And
- 55:12Speaker 2: I thought that that was her telling on herself. Yes,
- 55:15Speaker 2: because she was involved in herself. She didn't care about
- 55:18Speaker 2: none of these other last She didn't care about none of.
- 55:20Speaker 1: These other kids.
- 55:21Speaker 2: She just cared about Pagan Cody, That's all she cares. Yeah,
- 55:25Speaker 2: And then she talks about how her and Cody worked
- 55:28Speaker 2: really hard to make sure their relationship survived and they're
- 55:32Speaker 2: very proud that it survived. All of these divorces because
- 55:34Speaker 2: apparently Cody was a moody butthole.
- 55:37Speaker 1: Can we just talk for a moment about the languaging
- 55:39Speaker 1: of that, Yeah, and the fact that she's using the
- 55:42Speaker 1: term survive after we've just had the passing of our
- 55:48Speaker 1: beloved Garrison and you're talking about surviving, Like, what are
- 55:51Speaker 1: you the devastation that you yourself wrought and brought and
- 55:56Speaker 1: visited upon this entire family and you're a survivor? Like, please,
- 56:00Speaker 1: I can't. It's enraging. Yeah, I'm filled with rage and
- 56:04Speaker 1: hate and vich real and it's not a godly moment.
- 56:07Speaker 1: I like, I have to stop, I have to pray
- 56:09Speaker 1: a little, I've got to reset, I've got to get
- 56:11Speaker 1: myself together because these aren't real people. They're not in
- 56:13Speaker 1: my actual life. But when I tell you my blood
- 56:15Speaker 1: pressure because my jugular bitch just protruding, there's that fucking
- 56:20Speaker 1: fain on my temple, and I'm just like, if I could,
- 56:22Speaker 1: like of fight these people, Oh my god, if I
- 56:25Speaker 1: fight these people, I would.
- 56:26Speaker 2: They need to be punched a little bit.
- 56:28Speaker 1: Sorry, Sometimes that's all it takes. Ye Just knock somebody
- 56:32Speaker 1: needs to get just knock him out for reel. Uh.
- 56:35Speaker 2: I just hate them so much.
- 56:37Speaker 1: We don't advocate for violence, really.
- 56:39Speaker 2: Except for Cody and Robin.
- 56:40Speaker 1: No, no, we're in a dumpster. We're trashy.
- 56:43Speaker 2: Yeah, and then Robin makes a comment at the very end,
- 56:46Speaker 2: this is how the episode ends, about how she doesn't
- 56:48Speaker 2: know if she could live polygamy again, which I'm like,
- 56:51Speaker 2: for the last twenty freaking episodes, you've been saying that
- 56:56Speaker 2: you only wanted to live polygamy was your dream. You
- 57:00Speaker 2: were crying Coyote Pass. Now you're saying now you're saying
- 57:06Speaker 2: you don't know if you could live it again.
- 57:08Speaker 1: Girl, I deeply dislike her.
- 57:09Speaker 2: I hate her so much, do not prefer her.
- 57:12Speaker 1: I really am so bad as a person. You're just
- 57:15Speaker 1: failing hardcore.
- 57:17Speaker 2: Yep, And we have the preview for next week. We
- 57:20Speaker 2: have Christine. It's her first Valentine's Day since being married.
- 57:24Speaker 1: So do we think this is Valentine's twenty twenty four?
- 57:27Speaker 1: I don't know this is Valentine's twenty twenty five, because
- 57:30Speaker 1: her first Valentine's would have been twenty twenty four, So
- 57:33Speaker 1: that means we're jumping going back back in the timeline. Yeah,
- 57:36Speaker 1: like before the baptism and like right after Janelle laughed
- 57:40Speaker 1: like a girl. I don't know, make it makes sense.
- 57:42Speaker 2: I literally can't keep anything straight anymore. And then we
- 57:44Speaker 2: have Mary and Janelle talking about Coyote Pass and apparently
- 57:48Speaker 2: Mary is afraid of the raf okayoty all right about
- 57:53Speaker 2: like suing for what you're you're shared, your fair share.
- 57:58Speaker 1: Your fair share, but like she doesn't want to. I
- 58:00Speaker 1: guess upset this men and rock the boat and Schamelle's like,
- 58:04Speaker 1: he can't do anything to you. This man has no
- 58:06Speaker 1: power in your life anymore. Why don't you worth the up?
- 58:08Speaker 1: I don't know. I heard it somewhere. Maybe you should
- 58:10Speaker 1: try it. Maybe you should try you're wearing the shirt
- 58:12Speaker 1: after it gosh for really?
- 58:14Speaker 2: Yeah. And then we have Robin, who is fake concerned
- 58:17Speaker 2: about Cody and if only one wife is going to
- 58:20Speaker 2: be enough for him?
- 58:22Speaker 1: Sure?
- 58:22Speaker 2: And I think she asks him that in the attic
- 58:25Speaker 2: of Justpine's pistra and Cody's like, that's a lot of questions.
- 58:30Speaker 1: We already know his answer. And once again, these are
- 58:32Speaker 1: superfluous scenes. We do not need scenes with these people
- 58:36Speaker 1: who already heard all of the things. Please get them
- 58:38Speaker 1: off of my televisy yo.
- 58:39Speaker 2: I literally don't care unless they start admitting to their
- 58:43Speaker 2: bull crabs and their crimes.
- 58:44Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, but they're not glad, No, they are not.
- 58:47Speaker 1: But anyway, there were some juicy bits in this. Yeah,
- 58:52Speaker 1: and I did. I mean, when I was not raging,
- 58:54Speaker 1: I was enjoyed. I love I want to. I'm traveling
- 58:58Speaker 1: to Louisiana and then North Carolina with my girl Janelle
- 59:01Speaker 1: looking ethereal in pinks, wear more pinks. It's so pretty
- 59:04Speaker 1: of it. Yes, And I'm loving Christine being happy and Mary,
- 59:09Speaker 1: you know, like thinking about ending up with somebody, yes,
- 59:13Speaker 1: like and sharing her life with someone like. I love that.
- 59:16Speaker 1: But I don't need any of the other stuff, like
- 59:19Speaker 1: we never need to go back to flag stuff.
- 59:21Speaker 2: No ever, fire them, let them go bankrupt. I don't care.
- 59:24Speaker 1: M Can you imagine if they got the proverbial pink
- 59:28Speaker 1: slip like that that communication that comes in from Bravo
- 59:32Speaker 1: with some of these housewives who get let go after
- 59:35Speaker 1: the reunion, and they make some posts on social media
- 59:38Speaker 1: like I've chosen to leave the franchise because I've got
- 59:41Speaker 1: other chapters that I've went to write, but you got fired,
- 59:45Speaker 1: and I.
- 59:46Speaker 2: Would love I would love it.
- 59:49Speaker 1: So if we had a little bit of that for Cocond,
- 59:52Speaker 1: what would they do?
- 59:54Speaker 2: They would be so screwed.
- 59:55Speaker 1: And I'm not just saying it, Beatrice, I don't think
- 59:58Speaker 1: we need them. No, we can just refer to them
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: and show like the articles and then talk about it
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: that way. Bring back Tamaron Hall. Did you see any
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: of the interview with Mary and Tamren Hall.
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: Yes, it was pretty good. Did you watch it?
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: I watched some of them.
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: Like. There was obviously a lot of breadcrumbing from Mary,
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: because that's what she's good at. Right. There were some
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: juicy things because apparently Tameron told Mary and all of
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: us that she was a little butt hurt that she
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: got ousted from the tell Alls and she didn't understand why.
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: And Mary kind of alludes to how some of the
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: family members aka Cody and Robin, were upset with Tameron's
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: line of questioning and how she would press them on
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: some of the tougher subjects and some of their bs.
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: And everything, trying to hold them accountable for things that
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: we had actually seen with our own raccoon eyes. Yeah,
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: Cody didn't like it. And essentially Cody is the one
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: that got Tarmareron fire, Yeah, which is crazy, which we
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: already knew, of course, but thank you for confirming that. Yeah,
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: he cannot handle it. And so that's why we have
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: a Sukiana su Kanya I always do that asu Kanya
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: or Suki who is so like careful with how she's
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: approaching these conversations, particularly with Cody and Robin, because she
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: knows he's going to have a toddler tantrum pamper problem
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: with her if she presses too much, so she cannot.
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: And this is why we need to kick them off
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: the show.
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: Yeah, like, if you can't handle he, get out of
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: the e F and kitchen, honestly, like, this is the show.
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: We saw what we saw, and now address it. And
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: if you don't want to GTFO and furthermore, get you
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: all in a room so you can all talk to
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: each other. So as soon as you lie, which is
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: what you always you don't do anything but lie, then
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: you've got Janelle over here, you got Mary over here,
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: you got Christine over here saying actually, yeah, that's not
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: how that happened. But yeah, So some of the stuff
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: that came out during that conversation with Tameron was was good.
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: We need more, we need.
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: More, and Mary, the Queen of breadcrumbs and over it.
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: Yeah, and I want her to give me the full
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: freaking loaf.
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: I'm starving.
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: Yeah, you're wasting away. I'm very worried about you. I
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: also know that was it Ethel who sent you the
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: astrological signs of the Wives. Okay, let's save that for Patreons.
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: So let's conclude. Now, let's wrap this up, and then
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: if you're on Patreon, if you're a raccoon who's in
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: the VIP dumpster, we will continue and have a conversation
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: about the strange astrological charts of the Sister Wives. But
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: is there anything else that we need to say before
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: we get up on out of here Beeltross.
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: Well, if you love our podcast, please be sure to
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: go to your favorite podcast platform and leave us say
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: glowing the live star review. It really helps us grow
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: the pod some more people can join us in the dumpster,
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: and we really appreciate it. Thank you very much.
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: We will be back later this week to take your
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: many speak pipe calls. Apparently we are over a lot,
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: so we can't get to all of them, but we're
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: going to get to some of them. We will be
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: releasing that on Friday. Make sure to come back for that. Also,
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: we are going next week we are going to be
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: talking about poly family. We're not going to be covering
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: the actual episode though, the first episode we're going to
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: be a week late for a little while, but we
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: are going to like just talk about the couple's first impressions,
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: fake psychic predictions, and we'll introduce everybody to what's going
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: on with these folks. Yeah, and then we're gonna start
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: recapping in earnest the week after that, so stick around
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: for it all. We're gonna have so much fun. And
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: until then, please not forget that we have nothing but
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: love for you. And again, if you're a patron, hang on,
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: we're gonna talk about those charts and do not forget
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: that we have nothing but love for you. Bye, please out,
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: Bye bye,
