DAVE: If your AC runs all afternoon and the bedrooms still feel warm, most people blame the outdoor unit first. I get it. That is the part you can see and hear. But a lot of the time, the real problem is hiding above your head. You can have a decent air conditioner doing its job, and still lose a pile of cold air into a 140 degree attic because a duct came loose, a boot is leaking, or the return is pulling attic air back into the house.
