- 0:00[SPEAKER_03]: Welcome live to the big play Cleveland show presented by Fandle.
- 0:03[SPEAKER_03]: This is Jack or Rock alongside Gav Gaudy and Nick Padone.
- 0:06[SPEAKER_03]: Ryan Tyler will be with us here in a minute.
- 0:08[SPEAKER_03]: This segment is Cleveland headlines brought to you by smart choice best guys.
- 0:12[SPEAKER_03]: We got to start with the big topic of the day, which is your Cleveland Guardians, the Guardos.
- 0:17[SPEAKER_03]: Come out, they make the big deadline move that we're all so excited about.
- 0:21[SPEAKER_03]: three or four moves and then bam, you get ripped off, you get swept by the putrid awful terrible no good New York mats in a three game series, your old friend Francisco Lindor comes through multiple times and big moments and delivers big hits for the mats just the knife and the stomach that you didn't need already from the start of that series.
- 0:38[SPEAKER_03]: Gab, I want to start with you on this.
- 0:40[SPEAKER_03]: Where do the Cleveland Guardians sit?
- 0:42[SPEAKER_03]: You're of our
- 0:46[SPEAKER_00]: They're sitting a half a game out of fourth place is where they sit.
- 0:50[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's not good.
- 0:51[SPEAKER_00]: That's not good.
- 0:52[SPEAKER_00]: That's not good.
- 0:53[SPEAKER_00]: No, it's not good at all.
- 0:53[SPEAKER_00]: But they are still in a wild card race somehow.
- 0:56[SPEAKER_00]: So if anyone wants to say the A.L.
- 0:58[SPEAKER_00]: Central is terrible, we're all leading it together.
- 1:00[SPEAKER_03]: So yeah.
- 1:01[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, all right there.
- 1:03[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, all ships raised sides, right?
- 1:04[SPEAKER_03]: And yeah, we were talking about it at yesterday too.
- 1:06[SPEAKER_03]: Like how lucky are they to?
- 1:09[SPEAKER_03]: The storylines we'll be coming in here and talking about it when it comes to the Guardians and the MLB is the Red Sox.
- 1:14[SPEAKER_03]: It didn't save our butts every single day and sweep the White Sox.
- 1:16[SPEAKER_03]: This could look 10,000 times worse than it does right now.
- 1:19[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, they could be what?
- 1:20[SPEAKER_00]: Six games?
- 1:21[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, no, you can be sitting in the five to six range.
- 1:23[SPEAKER_03]: Nick, where are you sitting on this hashtag guardsball team after it's terrible three games?
- 1:27[SPEAKER_02]: I'm I'm conflicted guys because on one side like on Wednesday, I'm in here Carlos Bayer is saying that the Guardians are going to the world series.
- 1:37[SPEAKER_02]: Like he is genuinely saying that the Guardians of World series bound and honestly like hearing his logic just with you know the starting rotation with slayed going to the bullpen You get a little bit deeper there with the couple of bats that they got to you know a company now
- 1:52[SPEAKER_02]: Not a couple bats joe Adele in the thumbnail low to save the day by themselves, but to be a couple of Menry pieces to Jose de laud or Bazana what we're building right like so I want to believe that like Carlos believes But then I watch the games with my own eyes and I'm like man It's just feels like one of those years where everything that can go wrong will go wrong even to like the other night Joe Adele had runners in scoring position probably
- 2:18[SPEAKER_02]: Five of his five at bats that he took and he was not able to drive in a run and that's just been the story of the season For the Cleveland Guardians you get kids Smith.
- 2:26[SPEAKER_02]: I think still leading baseball and saves To save the game finally get rid of the bats and have us all feeling really good about this team for just one night And he can't even do that and blows the save game goes to extras and the Guardians lose So it feels like one of those seasons where everything that can go wrong will go wrong and
- 2:46[SPEAKER_02]: At the same time, last season felt like one of those seasons was going to save you.
- 2:49[SPEAKER_02]: And then the 50 and a half game come back with a black SUV's on us at the end of some point.
- 2:54[SPEAKER_00]: The last year, I was kind of more excited about the Guardians.
- 2:56[SPEAKER_00]: I thought that they had potential.
- 2:57[SPEAKER_00]: I remember like a year ago today, I made a video and said there's six games out of the Yale Central against the Detroit Tigers.
- 3:03[SPEAKER_00]: They have six more games left against the Tigers and then guys what they did.
- 3:06[SPEAKER_00]: They want, I don't feel confident saying that.
- 3:08[SPEAKER_00]: They have three games against the white socks, three games against the Tigers.
- 3:10[SPEAKER_00]: That could be two.
- 3:13[SPEAKER_02]: But why, because this, this team, this year's team, I feel like has more talent than last year's team did it was just last raining on.
- 3:21[SPEAKER_00]: But I just don't think we do the little things as well as they did before.
- 3:24[SPEAKER_00]: Like you watched the game, Brian Rocchio error.
- 3:25[SPEAKER_00]: There's, there's like four games this season where a middle-end filter has.
- 3:29[SPEAKER_00]: And did the game for us in the ninth inning.
- 3:31[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that's why I was going to ask you guys about next because Nikki made that point about that inning that Kade Smith couldn't get out of kind of in part with that rookie.
- 3:37[SPEAKER_03]: I think that was the throw I was throwing, right?
- 3:39[SPEAKER_03]: He kind of rushed the throw a little bit over there.
- 3:41[SPEAKER_00]: He didn't even go into his glove.
- 3:42[SPEAKER_00]: I like hit off the side of it.
- 3:43[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, yeah, okay.
- 3:44[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, yeah.
- 3:44[SPEAKER_00]: Like it was an easy play.
- 3:45[SPEAKER_03]: So that's what I want to ask you guys to go out because we're all big Brian Roku guys here like everyone in Cleveland loves him came out of the gate and was hot as all hell this season had a point now where like it's pretty much been two months where he's not really hitting the fielding is again like he's there 95% of the time but he has these infuriating little mental mistakes almost seems like guys with the emergence of on hell ha now
- 4:06[SPEAKER_03]: a lot of people are going to argue you hey I don't really want to move Travis Pazana off of spot mid-year in season.
- 4:12[SPEAKER_03]: What do you guys think happens or shakes out with the middle in the field?
- 4:15[SPEAKER_03]: Because I wonder if there's a chance that Rokey will become either the odd man out or if something gets juxtaposed weird where he's no longer in the lineup every day, especially adding a switch header in and out.
- 4:23[SPEAKER_02]: I'll tell you this.
- 4:24[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know what's gonna happen.
- 4:26[SPEAKER_02]: I wish it would have already happened though, because now is not the time where you really wanna be doing this Harvard science lab test tube experimental crap.
- 4:35[SPEAKER_02]: You wanna have your act together, going into a pivotal weekend series against the Chicago white socks who are leading this division.
- 4:41[SPEAKER_02]: So, I don't know what they're going to do.
- 4:44[SPEAKER_02]: All I know is they have a very short amount of time to get this thing figured out and to get it on the street like this weekend,
- 4:51[SPEAKER_03]: Could this is massive damn near be your season I think it is I said that probably like two weeks ago when they played the white socks last Me those like three weeks ago, but then now look at us back in the game how many times did you say over the course of the 162 you declare the season dead and alive
- 5:05[SPEAKER_00]: I don't ever think I've said it's I did say it was alive when the trade deadline ended at 6 p.m.
- 5:10[SPEAKER_00]: I said the season's back on and then by yesterday at like yesterday probably by 2 p.m. season's over well I like that you also continue to refer to yesterday's like a humiliation ritual just being at that game because it's like
- 5:25[SPEAKER_02]: Don't let the, don't let the season go like this against the New York match.
- 5:29[SPEAKER_02]: Like, like, it's like that LeBron, you know, clip where it's like anybody but you Anybody bought the New York match to do this to us like to have be a slump buster for the matches disgusting after I thought they won the deadline like Buster only is on MLB network with his American League ranking and has the Cleveland Guardians is the number one team in the American League I wanted to be all aboard that
- 5:51[SPEAKER_02]: because I actually, I actually loved what they did at the deadline.
- 5:54[SPEAKER_02]: You get an all-star and foster Griffin off, rough start.
- 5:57[SPEAKER_02]: Joe Adele, fun start, but we need more.
- 6:01[SPEAKER_02]: And Nathaniel Lowley, I thought that was enough, but Gab said it, they don't do the little things right, and that's what makes this group so maddening, because I actually think, as like a sports fan, forget about a baseball fan, they have enough
- 6:16[SPEAKER_02]: pieces and enough young pieces that are really good that would make you believe with this starting pitching rotation this should be an actual playoff contender that could make noise in this wide open american league and and it makes it so frustrating because what's happening on the field isn't matching what your common sense and the thing is to it the american league is
- 6:36[SPEAKER_03]: So, so, so bad.
- 6:38[SPEAKER_03]: Where if you literally like if all they do is just keep the car on the road for two months, you'd like to think you're probably dancing in October.
- 6:45[SPEAKER_03]: Gab, you're shaking your head.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_03]: That is the issue as you don't know if they're gonna keep the car on the road.
- 6:49[SPEAKER_03]: But, the biggest key or the start rather to find out if we're gonna keep that car on the road is tonight when the guards head to the south side to take on the pale host, Parker Messick on the mountain versus Noah Schwold's a pair of lefties.
- 7:01[SPEAKER_03]: Where do you guys think we start out the weekend?
- 7:02[SPEAKER_03]: Like, where are your expectations at?
- 7:05[SPEAKER_03]: two out of three.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_03]: No, no, please just don't get swept.
- 7:08[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, you want all three where we have three.
- 7:09[SPEAKER_02]: I want all three.
- 7:10[SPEAKER_02]: I want all three as well.
- 7:11[SPEAKER_02]: And I'll be honest as it goes in most series.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_02]: You know, typically play off series.
- 7:17[SPEAKER_02]: You need the first one.
- 7:18[SPEAKER_02]: You need tonight.
- 7:19[SPEAKER_02]: You need tonight.
- 7:20[SPEAKER_02]: After what just happened to you against the meds to feel good about this trade deadline.
- 7:25[SPEAKER_02]: You flow.
- 7:26[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 7:26[SPEAKER_00]: Need to not win a game.
- 7:27[SPEAKER_00]: like you have to win a game.
- 7:28[SPEAKER_00]: Also, I just don't think this team has, I don't know what word I'm looking for.
- 7:32[SPEAKER_00]: Fight is not the word I'm looking for, just like, anger against other teams.
- 7:35[SPEAKER_00]: We don't have it.
- 7:36[SPEAKER_00]: Like, in 2021 when we play the Chicago White Sox, they would go into Chicago and say, we're going to beat the out of the White Sox and we're going to take every single game.
- 7:43[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think they have that word.
- 7:44[SPEAKER_00]: I think they're just giggling and laughing and going out there.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, we're playing baseball.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_00]: If we win, we win.
- 7:49[SPEAKER_00]: Like you had Josh and Taylor screaming in people's faces.
- 7:51[SPEAKER_03]: Do you think that's because it's, I want to ask you about that then, because I think we're in such a weird place with that whole nailer debate.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_03]: We're like, I think while Josh nailer was here, we always kind of felt like, oh, that's like the locker room leader.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_03]: That's the heartbeat of this team.
- 8:03[SPEAKER_03]: That is the, I want all the smoke guy.
- 8:06[SPEAKER_03]: you have that whole hedges moment where hedges is like nobody like see we it comes to find out like when nailer got drafted by the marlins he was like knife wielding at one of his teammates and that's why they treat him to see how that would go like so much where do you guys do you guys think he was the leader of that locker room or who do you think is who needs to replace him who needs to step up and be that voice I wouldn't say that he was leading he just did things that were so crazy that other people were like yeah okay we're going to all so well you want to spray hard yeah he was going to have his way to tell people that it was going to happen he just kind of like did it yeah okay
- 8:35[SPEAKER_00]: and then everybody else there just did it too.
- 8:37[SPEAKER_00]: They didn't need someone to tell them, hey, you got to be better.
- 8:40[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, we got to win.
- 8:40[SPEAKER_00]: We got to do these things.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_00]: Everyone just showed up and did it.
- 8:43[SPEAKER_00]: Even when they had like a medrizeria on the team, they were still showing up and doing it.
- 8:47[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like no one is really doing that.
- 8:49[SPEAKER_03]: Nick, do you think this team lacks an emotional leader or a clubhouse leader?
- 8:52[SPEAKER_03]: No.
- 8:52[SPEAKER_03]: They have it.
- 8:53[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, the Jose is obviously always going to be the leader and the team goes as Jose goes and then you have other veterans like Hedgeys event obviously, you know, your pitchers are vets when you talk about bybie and Gavin Williams So I do think you have enough like veterans on the team I do though wonder if what's happening this year Gap to your point of just like doing all the little things wrong this year
- 9:18[SPEAKER_02]: I do wonder if that's kind of in a vacuum, a buy product of having a team that's comprised of more rookies than rookies, like it is truly still really a four-ay ball club.
- 9:29[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 9:29[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 9:29[SPEAKER_03]: There's definitely bits and pieces of it.
- 9:31[SPEAKER_03]: The part of the roster that I would argue you looks more like a triple-ay ball club than a quad-ay ball club either at this point in time is your Cleveland Guardians Rockstar bullpen.
- 9:39[SPEAKER_03]: We've been struggling the last week and a half or so.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_03]: guys, do you see any immediate, obviously like, hey, you can't go out and get another arm at this point, right?
- 9:47[SPEAKER_03]: Craig Yoos, what you bring, and obviously you hope you turn this around, like you're not going to judge the guy off of two or three appearances.
- 9:52[SPEAKER_03]: Do you guys foresee the bullpen turning it around back in the typical like Cleveland weapon bullpen playoff form?
- 9:57[SPEAKER_03]: Like, is there a call that can make?
- 9:59[SPEAKER_03]: Is it getting in a spin?
- 9:59[SPEAKER_03]: No type of guy back?
- 10:00[SPEAKER_03]: Like, what happens to this pen?
- 10:02[SPEAKER_02]: I get a spin, no back.
- 10:03[SPEAKER_02]: I call Andrew Walter is like, I'm making whatever phone calls I can make.
- 10:07[SPEAKER_02]: And I think they deserve credit because I think they did that at the deadline.
- 10:10[SPEAKER_02]: Like, Craig
- 10:12[SPEAKER_02]: The first move that was the first move before they went and got offensive help with a Dell and like they know that that's their bright and butter and they know that that's what won them this division just last year.
- 10:23[SPEAKER_02]: They are not fooled that this is a batting line up that struggles on most nights and you need to win with elite starting pitching and then that turn over to a really good bullpen and you're not going to score many runs, but that's how you're going to win games.
- 10:37[SPEAKER_02]: Issues if you can't get to them.
- 10:41[SPEAKER_02]: It's going to be really bad if you can't even get to Gadesmith who's really been the only good piece of this bullpen.
- 10:47[SPEAKER_02]: What's the point of having an all-star closer if the rest of the guys can't set him up for success?
- 10:53[SPEAKER_03]: And I feel like especially back in like the 2016 E.A.
- 10:56[SPEAKER_03]: Honestly really the whole thing like 22 is the same way when they had that nuts bullpen and 24 really too So it's been a lot of the time and Cleveland actually is it used to feel like especially playoffs comes of time But like the six main rotation had it last year like if you get five innings five in a third five and two thirds
- 11:11[SPEAKER_03]: you're winning that game because you know that bullpen is locking it down.
- 11:14[SPEAKER_03]: You know that you have the guys to find you, you're avenue to get to Cody Allen to get to whoever your closures at the time in class say now Kate Smith and it just doesn't seem like they really have that anymore guys back to the offense.
- 11:26[SPEAKER_03]: So I really wanted there's this is a two part question and the second part may be more important than the first part actually.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_03]: will we ever see Kyle Manzardo again in Cleveland slash do you guys anticipate any future success for Manzo in Cleveland?
- 11:41[SPEAKER_03]: And what are your thoughts on Manzo shading the mustache because that I don't know how we didn't lead with that actually.
- 11:47[SPEAKER_03]: shaving the mustache baker us.
- 11:54[SPEAKER_02]: I saw the shave mustache and my brain went into like the Jimmy Neutron like all the galaxies were flying around and I landed back in 2019 That's the Denver Broncos where he's shaved like four different times in the same day.
- 12:12[SPEAKER_02]: Um, that's not great
- 12:14[SPEAKER_02]: not great but honestly like you hear that stuff in baseball that like you know guys will shave their heads or shave their face like to just try and turn off season around and for men's a like you need to walk up some he needs it he needs it turn around though like he like I get the 12 home runs were nice but that was a player that we were really talking about for years and years as a young piece that could be a big bat and could be an actual solved to this thing ever since the Aaron Savali wars like I remember those well
- 12:42[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I do think we won, but like I it is a disappointment that Manzo hasn't ascended like to the player that he could have been because think about that if Manzardo was what we all had in our heads that he could become when they made that Savali trade this is a
- 12:58[SPEAKER_02]: way better.
- 12:59[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, dude, so say he does say he like replicates last year, right?
- 13:02[SPEAKER_03]: And he's sitting with 20 home runs at the deadline, hitting 240 OPS in the high 700, maybe even low 800s.
- 13:08[SPEAKER_03]: That's one as I got killed by my good friend, Gargens perspective on the internet for earlier this year, you can go out and trade Ralphie Velascaz.
- 13:15[SPEAKER_03]: And that's when you're looking at, oh, hey, we can be to package for school, even in division.
- 13:18[SPEAKER_03]: And they would do that kind of thing because it is for half a year of control.
- 13:21[SPEAKER_03]: Like, that's how you really elevate a ball club.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_03]: So if you do get those guys to kind of stick.
- 13:25[SPEAKER_03]: And I
- 13:28[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I don't think that he should have shaped the mustache.
- 13:30[SPEAKER_00]: Let's be honest with that one.
- 13:31[SPEAKER_00]: But comments are, I'm hoping for the best.
- 13:33[SPEAKER_00]: Is he going to get it together in AAA?
- 13:36[SPEAKER_03]: Gabb, do you think out of that crew of Manzo and David Fry?
- 13:42[SPEAKER_03]: OK.
- 13:43[SPEAKER_03]: Which one of them is more likely to come back and do something in Cleveland?
- 13:46[SPEAKER_00]: Well, there's obviously only one answer.
- 13:48[SPEAKER_03]: I agree with you with some people disagree.
- 13:50[SPEAKER_03]: There are there are David Fry people out there and they're crazy.
- 13:52[SPEAKER_03]: They're crazy.
- 13:53[SPEAKER_03]: They're crazy.
- 13:53[SPEAKER_03]: They're than sure fans.
- 13:54[SPEAKER_03]: I'm telling me disagreeing about purple now.
- 13:58[SPEAKER_00]: What are they disagreeing about?
- 13:59[SPEAKER_03]: That's David Fry.
- 14:00[SPEAKER_03]: Nothing anymore after his two hits in the month of July.
- 14:02[SPEAKER_00]: David Fry's gave us some great moments as guardians fans.
- 14:06[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, he had to play off against it.
- 14:08[SPEAKER_03]: Play off against Detroit and the one in Holland as well.
- 14:12[SPEAKER_03]: I don't remember who that wasn't that game so the streets are saying David fries just don't he he's got to be Yeah, it's it's got to be really close in my opinions still maybe the worst all star of all time Just so yeah, I mean that was a great year runs as a first baseman on June 10th anyone to the all star game He was congratulations
- 14:31[SPEAKER_03]: You were like retroactively taking away I'm not he was awesome at times guys Who will be so this little little bit next next year looking forward to because we talk about this to be a little bit with Hanna Albizana and Rokio earlier who will be at first base second base and short stop on opening day next year Assuming Jose Ramirez is back at third if you guys want to throw Jose a deviation do something with that though You can I don't want to hurt his feelings.
- 14:55[SPEAKER_03]: We'll not hurt any feelings today So Jose's at third
- 15:01[SPEAKER_02]: We put in man's hood first and we want to put our own first.
- 15:05[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going Ralphie Ralphie at first opening day next year.
- 15:08[SPEAKER_00]: Ralphie at first and now.
- 15:11[SPEAKER_02]: You guys are overzealous with that.
- 15:13[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going back on address him at his at second base.
- 15:15[SPEAKER_02]: Where's there's on it going?
- 15:17[SPEAKER_00]: Grab a bat.
- 15:19[SPEAKER_00]: I don't want to see where.
- 15:20[SPEAKER_00]: Grab a bat.
- 15:20[SPEAKER_00]: Grab a bat.
- 15:22[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, no, it can get a little spooky in the field of times.
- 15:25[SPEAKER_03]: All right, guys, last thing we talk about on the guards before we flip on over to your Cleveland Browns and that amazing training camp here on Cleveland had lines via smart choice best.
- 15:34[SPEAKER_03]: Locked out, it's looking more and more like it's a possibility.
- 15:37[SPEAKER_03]: Gat, we have not had you in a studio.
- 15:39[SPEAKER_03]: Since Terriq Scoobal got traded off to the Los Angeles Dodgers, last was that Friday or Saturday night, Friday night?
- 15:46[SPEAKER_00]: I think Saturday.
- 15:47[SPEAKER_03]: Sorry, yeah, Saturday because the trade line was Monday.
- 15:49[SPEAKER_03]: Gab, do you think we're even playing baseball?
- 15:52[SPEAKER_03]: One of that question comes up with Ralphie Velazquez at first base next year.
- 15:56[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think they're gonna be playing baseball next season.
- 15:57[SPEAKER_03]: Do you think they played any point next season?
- 15:59[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 16:00[SPEAKER_03]: not at all.
- 16:01[SPEAKER_03]: So you're taking full year like a where you had on a neck.
- 16:03[SPEAKER_02]: I think they'll play and that's actually that that's somewhat of a source take.
- 16:08[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 16:09[SPEAKER_02]: They're going to want to get on the field for some games.
- 16:12[SPEAKER_02]: I think it will be like a COVID thing where it's going to come off.
- 16:17[SPEAKER_02]: It's gonna start off looking like we're not playing baseball.
- 16:19[SPEAKER_02]: These guys are dug in, it's doom and gloom, but I definitely think that there will be a shift once those chess don't start coming in.
- 16:27[SPEAKER_02]: And it will be, okay, we need to figure out how we can play baseball in June or July.
- 16:33[SPEAKER_02]: I think they're gonna try to play a little bit.
- 16:35[SPEAKER_02]: I definitely, I'm hard pressed to believe it'll be a full 162 though.
- 16:39[SPEAKER_02]: They're gonna, they're gonna gripe a little, but they're gonna play next year is my educated guess.
- 16:45[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, they should just cut the games in general, but maybe this would be a good story.
- 16:49[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, you're saying dropbacks like 144 or whatever you used to be 120.
- 16:52[SPEAKER_00]: I just think it's too many.
- 16:53[SPEAKER_02]: I wonder though, Gab, like, could this be the time to do it?
- 16:56[SPEAKER_02]: Like, with this new CBA, if you drop to 140, I know they'd never do it because they're losing so much money, but like, could it make the postseason a more entertaining product?
- 17:06[SPEAKER_02]: Were more eyeballs would be attracted to October?
- 17:08[SPEAKER_02]: That's how they have to spin it.
- 17:10[SPEAKER_02]: Why do people watch football?
- 17:11[SPEAKER_02]: There's only 16 of them.
- 17:12[SPEAKER_02]: I have to watch them all.
- 17:13[SPEAKER_03]: 17 of them, right?
- 17:14[SPEAKER_03]: Like it's tough to do.
- 17:15[SPEAKER_03]: It's a 160.
- 17:16[SPEAKER_03]: 160.
- 17:16[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_02]: They definitely need to do what they need to do is they need to find the argument for last games, other than player health and safety because we know that nobody terrible one on the first place, but unfortunately, every person gets five five Tommy John surgeries.
- 17:32[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, but we can't give them 20 lessonings a year.
- 17:34[SPEAKER_02]: dollars and cents are always gonna win.
- 17:36[SPEAKER_02]: They've got to find a dollars and cents argument that they could make for like 140 games How can 140 games be more profitable than a 162 that they're playing now if they can answer that it definitely can get shrunk And I think that would be a better product for all of us as fans
- 17:52[SPEAKER_03]: because it's not like you can just like raise ticket prices for a Tuesday against the Royals and June.
- 17:56[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 17:58[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know the answer to that.
- 17:59[SPEAKER_02]: It's also not, but you can't call your TV partners because most of the teams don't have any of them.
- 18:04[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's a true money that way either.
- 18:06[SPEAKER_02]: So they have to work through all of that kind of stuff, but the whole TV side of it is why I really think they're going to play next year.

- 18:49[SPEAKER_03]: Welcome back to Big Play Cleveland, brought to you by Fandell Jack Royk here alongside Nick Petone and Gav Gaudi.
- 18:55[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know why.
- 18:55[SPEAKER_03]: Just point at you guys while doing that.
- 18:56[SPEAKER_03]: But hey, here we are talking about some Cleveland Browns training camp presented by Jeannie Nick.
- 19:02[SPEAKER_03]: You've been out there the last couple of days.
- 19:03[SPEAKER_03]: So I wanted to get your pulse on this first as of today.
- 19:07[SPEAKER_03]: Who are we picking to win the quarterback battle?
- 19:10[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not even going to say what quarterbacks are in it.
- 19:12[SPEAKER_02]: loaded question.
- 19:13[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I don't even know it from the get go.
- 19:17[SPEAKER_02]: I'll say obviously practice today close to public open today to the beat that's there.
- 19:24[SPEAKER_02]: So we'll have a good Paul says to what happens at practice today.
- 19:29[SPEAKER_02]: I want to tell you guys what I saw yesterday.
- 19:31[SPEAKER_02]: It was Chador Sanders day with the ones.
- 19:35[SPEAKER_02]: yet, just Sean got a chunk of that action with the ones, and it was more delingabriel than I've seen since Todd Monk and arrived in Cleveland.
- 19:46[SPEAKER_02]: So I feel like that probably doesn't bode great for Shador in this competition that it was your day with the ones, but everybody else was kind of getting their activity on your day.
- 19:59[SPEAKER_02]: Now that doesn't mean that Shador did anything bad on the field.
- 20:02[SPEAKER_02]: Shidorah looked sharp.
- 20:04[SPEAKER_02]: He had a pick six to start the red zone period that they did, but he rebounded really nicely through an absolute laser to case he concepts you on, who I shared out on X as a smaller receiver.
- 20:16[SPEAKER_02]: Everybody was freaking out about case he concepts you on size around the draft.
- 20:20[SPEAKER_02]: He has made some big catches, though.
- 20:22[SPEAKER_02]: in terms of just climb in the ladder and going to get a football from Boltashon Watson and Shidorah Sanders yesterday called a really nice touchdown from Shidorah, but as somebody that wants to see Jack Shidorah win this competition, I have to tell you, um, I'm on alert.
- 20:39[SPEAKER_02]: My receptors are up because it was his day yesterday to have with the ones.
- 20:45[SPEAKER_02]: So why was Watson rotating in?
- 20:47[SPEAKER_02]: Why was Gabriel even rotating in?
- 20:50[SPEAKER_02]: What are they priming us for read between the lines here on what they could be planning to do with this quarterback competition?
- 20:58[SPEAKER_02]: I don't see it that way.
- 21:00[SPEAKER_02]: My eyes tell me when I watch both of these quarterbacks that Shodor has been more consistent.
- 21:05[SPEAKER_02]: yet we don't know the full picture and I know that's what we hate to debate we did it all last year we don't know what's going on in the meeting rooms we don't know what's going on in film study but based on what my eyes are telling me I think Shidorah's been better but based off what I saw yesterday I'm concerned because his day was infiltrated by some other
- 21:27[SPEAKER_03]: So again, before we get your thoughts, let me ask you then a follow up on that neck because, and again, it's very early, it's still August 7th.
- 21:35[SPEAKER_03]: We have a month's worth of football games to come, so not calling any races to early no elections being called today.
- 21:40[SPEAKER_03]: But you're probably not keeping four quarterbacks on the active roster, right?
- 21:44[SPEAKER_03]: I would have to assume that's not going to be the case.
- 21:45[SPEAKER_03]: You only got 53 slots.
- 21:47[SPEAKER_03]: Who do you see as of right now being the odd man out?
- 21:50[SPEAKER_02]: It's a good question that I don't think they even have the answer to right now, and I think we've seen Andrew Barry keeps his options open until the final moment when it comes to that quarterback spot, like they traded, you know, Joshua Dobbs, I remember in that.
- 22:06[SPEAKER_02]: It'll be in the wrong mood because he went to the cardinals and the Vikings and puts together some pretty nice games when the Browns needed a quarterback and they moved on from him.
- 22:16[SPEAKER_02]: They moved on from Kenny Pick a last year despite not even playing a preseason game and got a fifth round pick for him.
- 22:22[SPEAKER_02]: So they are constantly entertaining calls on everybody on this roster.
- 22:28[SPEAKER_02]: But I think that's important to the quarterback position because they've got four guys that they really like.
- 22:34[SPEAKER_02]: I'll walk through all of them, right, just for sake of exercise.
- 22:38[SPEAKER_02]: To Sean's not going anywhere, you can't caught him.
- 22:42[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think tailing green is going anywhere.
- 22:44[SPEAKER_02]: I've been told that there was a team in the FC North that was intending on drafting tailing green in the sixth round.
- 22:52[SPEAKER_02]: Before the Browns used the first pick of the sixth round on him.
- 22:56[SPEAKER_02]: So if that's the case, and if that team would still potentially be interested in tailing green, I don't know if they would or would not be, you probably don't want to release tailing green, expose them to waivers, understanding that somebody in this division could potentially claim him that's a developmental project that I think Todd Monkin really likes to have around because of the size Rothlight ability.
- 23:15[SPEAKER_02]: Then that takes us to the two sophomore quarterbacks in Shador Sanders and Dylan Gabriel.
- 23:20[SPEAKER_02]: Shador is competing for the starting quarterback job.
- 23:23[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's fascinating to watch what happens if he's not named the week one starter though, because it does feel like in a lot of ways, Dylan Gabriel persists in Maria.
- 23:35[SPEAKER_02]: They really like that he's smart, they really like that he's played a lot of football.
- 23:39[SPEAKER_02]: two different regimes now, Stufanty's gone, Tommy Reese's gone.
- 23:43[SPEAKER_02]: This is now Todd Monk in Travis, Schweitzer, kind of saying similar things about Dillon Gabriel, and we've seen Dillon stack a couple of really strong days.
- 23:52[SPEAKER_02]: I was very critical of Dillon last off season, but he stacked a couple of really promising days.
- 23:57[SPEAKER_02]: Monk in said, if he continues to do so, he will continue to get more work.
- 24:01[SPEAKER_02]: And that's materialized, he's gotten more work.
- 24:04[SPEAKER_02]: So are they preparing for a potential world where maybe Dishon Watson is the starting quarterback?
- 24:09[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe Shidorah Sanders is the starting quarterback.
- 24:11[SPEAKER_02]: Could Dylan Gabriel be the backup regardless?
- 24:14[SPEAKER_02]: I think that's an interesting conversation that can be had and what would happen to the loser of the starting quarterback race if they don't default to QB2, which,
- 24:23[SPEAKER_02]: might not be a guarantee.
- 24:24[SPEAKER_02]: Remember, Barry, draft the Gabriel last year.
- 24:28[SPEAKER_02]: And that's where he would be emergency third string.
- 24:31[SPEAKER_02]: You know, those quarterbacks don't even dress on game days.
- 24:34[SPEAKER_02]: They're in street clothes.
- 24:36[SPEAKER_02]: And they're allowed to suit up if, you know, injury happens to the starter in the back up.
- 24:40[SPEAKER_02]: And then in that world, they would have to release tail and green, which be as a six round pick.
- 24:45[SPEAKER_02]: They're certainly precedent to do.
- 24:46[SPEAKER_02]: So, or the elephant in the room, do they trade
- 24:50[SPEAKER_02]: would anybody come calling with a day three draft pick to get rid or I think your options would probably be limited to really just the jets as a team that could potentially be interested in him and then at that point would the Browns just wave them.
- 25:04[SPEAKER_02]: You know if they decide we're going to go into this season with Watson is QB1.
- 25:10[SPEAKER_02]: Gabriel is QB2, tail and green is our, you know, developmental guy in this room.
- 25:15[SPEAKER_02]: I think you could sell releasing Shidorah Sanders by saying this is a legendary player with a legendary last name.
- 25:23[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to give him the opportunity to start somewhere else.
- 25:26[SPEAKER_02]: We're moving forward with Deshawn and Dylan as there are two quarterbacks for this season.
- 25:31[SPEAKER_02]: And that's when the Browns could start priming fans really for April.
- 25:35[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think that's
- 25:40[SPEAKER_02]: And this is the Browns.
- 25:41[SPEAKER_02]: You can't think about what you would do.
- 25:43[SPEAKER_02]: You can't think about what logic would do.
- 25:45[SPEAKER_02]: You have to think that they're always going to do the unorthodox, uncharacteristic thing at every twist or turn.
- 25:52[SPEAKER_02]: So a very long way of answering your question, but when we're trying to map these things out, I don't think anything is guaranteed for any of these guys other than Watson being on the roster because he has to be.
- 26:02[SPEAKER_03]: gab I thought I had no clue I was going on in the quarterback room after listening to Nick I have double no clue what I thought was going on in the quarterback room where do you said after hearing what Nick had to say as well?
- 26:15[SPEAKER_03]: Do you think we'll start week one and as of right now who do you think would probably be the guy who's left out of the quarterback room out of those four?
- 26:22[SPEAKER_00]: Deshawn Watson will be starting week one against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
- 26:25[SPEAKER_00]: The first three plays of the game he's going to throw it to someone.
- 26:27[SPEAKER_00]: It's going to be short.
- 26:28[SPEAKER_00]: They're not going to catch it.
- 26:30[SPEAKER_00]: Over throw someone on the sideline.
- 26:32[SPEAKER_00]: Someone will take the ball from him, run it three yards and they will be punting.
- 26:37[SPEAKER_00]: In the whole entire stadium will be booing and then you're going to have to watch that again and again and again and again.
- 26:42[SPEAKER_00]: So Deshawn Watson will be your week one starter.
- 26:45[SPEAKER_03]: Who do you think is a quarterback most likely to be left out of the room?
- 26:48[SPEAKER_00]: Should we or Sanders?
- 26:49[SPEAKER_03]: So do you guys think so you both kind of mentioned that now and I guess that kind of opens up the avenue because Nick you mentioned even possibly Oh, wave, which I think would be interesting and maybe it would be the good guy moving away like hey like here like you go pick where you go like It's a it's a sellable way to move on like you get less hate maybe as it comes about in a way when it goes out Do you guys think it would be more likely that it would come that way with a wave or do you think they would just try and hey anything we can like we know AD loves his late-round picks
- 27:18[SPEAKER_02]: I just don't know, a they have 11, they're they're dangerously close to it doesn't draft picks and next year's draft are ready.
- 27:24[SPEAKER_02]: So how many of those do you really need A and B, guys, I'll be honest.
- 27:31[SPEAKER_02]: And again, I'm a fan of Shador.
- 27:32[SPEAKER_02]: I want to see Shador start week one.
- 27:35[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know that anybody's calling at this point in the game, at this stage in the game, to give up a draft pick for Shador, unless injury strikes, and then that happens in training camps where even a backup quarterback goes down with a catastrophic injury, then maybe a team would be willing to bring in Shador as a developmental starter.
- 27:55[SPEAKER_02]: I think that's maybe the issue.
- 27:57[SPEAKER_02]: not the issue with Shidorah.
- 27:59[SPEAKER_02]: That's the issue with Shidorah's situation is that he's a developmental starting quarterback in this league.
- 28:06[SPEAKER_02]: He has the traits and the tools to be a starting quarterback.
- 28:10[SPEAKER_02]: So he should be in an climate that can develop him into being that starting quarterback.
- 28:15[SPEAKER_02]: If the Brown start to Sean Watson,
- 28:18[SPEAKER_02]: you're not developing shador anymore because game weeks you're not doing a whole lot of development in week your your Monday is a lot of film which obviously you could pick up things from watching on film Tuesday and Wednesday you have practice or Tuesday you're off Wednesday and Thursday you have practice and then Fridays walk through speed where is the development really happened for a young quarterback when you get into the regular season um
- 28:43[SPEAKER_02]: So again, I think everything is on the table when it comes to these quarterbacks.
- 28:47[SPEAKER_02]: I have no prediction for how this shakes.
- 28:49[SPEAKER_03]: So I'm going to ask you guys for another prediction about the quarterbacks, then coming off of that.
- 28:52[SPEAKER_03]: How's that sound for you?
- 28:53[SPEAKER_03]: How many games?
- 28:54[SPEAKER_03]: So I won't make you guys trade a quarterback out.
- 28:56[SPEAKER_03]: You can have all four.
- 28:57[SPEAKER_03]: How many games does each quarterback start this season?
- 28:59[SPEAKER_00]: Whoever starting first gets four.
- 29:02[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, so you think there's a switch early on regardless?
- 29:06[SPEAKER_00]: There's no way that there's one quarterback that plays every single game.
- 29:09[SPEAKER_01]: This is such flawed thinking guys.
- 29:10[SPEAKER_02]: This is why the Browns are in this situation.
- 29:13[SPEAKER_02]: Like when you have a quarterback competition and you name a starter, you name that starter with the intention and the hope that that's your guy, the whole rest of the way.
- 29:21[SPEAKER_02]: I think including intention and hope though, but, but in here we sit like because if they start to shine, we all have in our head that either he's egg going to get hurt or be be so lapically comedically bad that they're going to have to take them take him off the field for their own job sake.
- 29:39[SPEAKER_02]: So it's like if if they really name him the starting quarterback of this thing, we already have in our minds that that's a project that lasts, you said four weeks,
- 29:50[SPEAKER_00]: a max eight, I would say is the level I would go for to Sean Watson.
- 29:53[SPEAKER_03]: That's not good.
- 29:54[SPEAKER_03]: That's a loss season.
- 29:55[SPEAKER_03]: It's making season is already.
- 29:57[SPEAKER_03]: That contract once again was $230 million guaranteed a fully guarantee and it's such a madning state to be in because we're
- 30:05[SPEAKER_02]: Right at that point the season already is lost, but it shouldn't be you've got so much young talent on this team.
- 30:11[SPEAKER_02]: What kind of message does that send to somebody like a Mason Graham or a Carson Swesinger or a Quinshan or these two rookie receivers like you actually are building something here to it's like, okay, this is a nucleus of an actual playoff container.
- 30:25[SPEAKER_02]: They have that much blue chip young talent.
- 30:28[SPEAKER_02]: It's just the most important position in sports continues to do a fade.
- 30:31[SPEAKER_02]: I mean,
- 30:32[SPEAKER_02]: It's wild because there's no organization in all approach sports obsessed with a position as much as the Cleveland Browns obsess over quarterback yet it's escaped them for forever.
- 30:43[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, 20 plus years almost coming up on three decades and they are so obsessed over it yet yet they just have not been able to find one.
- 30:52[SPEAKER_03]: Nick one to ask you because one of the most important parts of that quarterback is having the offensive line to protect him.
- 30:59[SPEAKER_03]: Obviously Spencer Fino taking his first real reps of the Brown Sierra at training camp a couple of other new additions as well.
- 31:04[SPEAKER_03]: Titus Howard is kind of the interesting story right now.
- 31:06[SPEAKER_03]: I've seen a floating around Matt Fontana talked about it a bit on big play Cleveland live yesterday.
- 31:10[SPEAKER_03]: Like hey, it's kind of interesting.
- 31:11[SPEAKER_03]: You paid that guy all this money.
- 31:12[SPEAKER_03]: He hasn't been named anything yet.
- 31:14[SPEAKER_03]: There are rumors and whispers on every corner of the internet in every article you see that Dewan Jones back from the shadow realm might be playing some good football at camp right now.
- 31:23[SPEAKER_03]: Nick, where do you fall on the offensive line at this moment in time?
- 31:26[SPEAKER_02]: work in progress which we know it was going to be by the way like for some of the outrage that's out there on the new offensive line like hey when you put together five new dudes doing anything doing a construction project I drive past it every day of Berkeley in the airport they got no idea what they're doing out there it's what the Brown's offensive line is right now
- 31:45[SPEAKER_02]: I genuinely think they're trying to figure it out.
- 31:47[SPEAKER_02]: They're trying to come together.
- 31:48[SPEAKER_02]: They're rotating Fano and Duan Jones, which is very interesting, and then they got to figure out that fifth offensive line starter.
- 31:55[SPEAKER_02]: How do you figure it out?
- 31:56[SPEAKER_02]: Though when the last two practices, the two guys competing for starting center have been hurt.
- 32:01[SPEAKER_02]: It's been Luke Whipler, and I don't think he really equates into the starting conversation much at all.
- 32:06[SPEAKER_02]: So you need to get guys healthy at that offensive line spot.
- 32:10[SPEAKER_02]: And it's really just going to be one of those things where they're going to have to patch it together throughout the preseason and try to come together late in August to be ready for that early September game against Jacksonville because it is a brand new online.
- 32:23[SPEAKER_02]: There is a real world if Tevin Jenkins is not the starting right guard that all five starters will be brand new and that's just going to take time and people aren't going to want to hear that but it's reality.
- 32:34[SPEAKER_03]: moving on over to the Youngen's gab, which Cleveland Brown's rookie are you the most excited for this season?
- 32:42[SPEAKER_03]: Denzel Boston has been like all the videos and you're just like the hype coming on a tamper is a good video, as I've seen.
- 32:47[SPEAKER_00]: So that's all I want, guys.
- 32:49[SPEAKER_00]: I'm really sorry.
- 32:50[SPEAKER_03]: It's also Nick like I kind of want to get your perspective on Boston specifically is like I really almost just totally struggle to remember and outside
- 32:57[SPEAKER_03]: threat like because even like poop was a great route runner and sure he could go deep like that wasn't really his mantra like Denzel boss and it seems like that you can just go up there and get it over any one What element of wrinkle do you think he brings this browns offence or how could he help out To Sean should or Dylan whoever it is and where we haven't seen in a couple years
- 33:15[SPEAKER_02]: You know, I tried to do some research for this for a story.
- 33:17[SPEAKER_02]: I was putting together for Browns on S.I.
- 33:20[SPEAKER_02]: The Browns have never had a receiver as tall as Denzel Boston.
- 33:24[SPEAKER_01]: A draw wide receiver.
- 33:25[SPEAKER_01]: That's good.
- 33:26[SPEAKER_02]: He is three quarters of an inch taller than Josh Gordon.
- 33:30[SPEAKER_02]: And I think he's at, and he's a half inch taller than, um, Braille and Edwards, and he's taller than Harold Fan and Jr. by Combine Measurement.
- 33:38[SPEAKER_02]: So we're talking fractions of inches here.
- 33:41[SPEAKER_02]: How much does that really matter?
- 33:42[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
- 33:44[SPEAKER_02]: And then in the day, he brings them something that they've never had before, literally speaking and figuratively speaking, that they need a big wide receiver.
- 33:52[SPEAKER_02]: They have never had a true X receiver, and we've seen Monk have a lot of success with guys like this.
- 33:59[SPEAKER_02]: And he was, you know,
- 34:01[SPEAKER_02]: he completely brought out the fire extinguisher and completely through cold water all over the Mike Evans comparisons like it's way too early for that.
- 34:11[SPEAKER_02]: But I think that type of receiver if you could get something like that as a rookie, it'd be really good.
- 34:16[SPEAKER_02]: I'm so high on both concepts
- 34:21[SPEAKER_02]: this year's fan in Judkin's Swissinger Graham, like having that big of an impact on this team.
- 34:27[SPEAKER_02]: The one thing that scares me, of course, is the quarterback play and the consistency with that quarterback play.
- 34:32[SPEAKER_02]: But I think Casey can set up his own could develop into being what they fought the flowers is for the Baltimore Ravens.
- 34:38[SPEAKER_02]: And we just saw him get out of the
- 34:40[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and I think he's gonna do a little return duties as well.
- 34:44[SPEAKER_02]: So the Browns haven't had much explosion on their special teams.
- 34:47[SPEAKER_02]: I think KC contributes there.
- 34:49[SPEAKER_02]: I think they try sending him in motion.
- 34:51[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe long gone or the David Nijoku jet sweeps from the Kevin's defense key playbook.
- 34:55[SPEAKER_02]: But could you get somebody with a little bit more speed in KC conception?
- 34:59[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe have a little bit more success with some of the motion stuff that they're going to do with Monk and so overall I think the two rookie receivers have been
- 35:07[SPEAKER_02]: very bright throughout camp like they've been really good and it wouldn't be surprised me by the end of the year if we're like out of place where we just feel confident like hey whatever comes a Jerry Judy can come of Jerry Judy if we want to just be done with that we can be done with it because I do think that the future is going to be conception Boston and it wouldn't shock me if they use one of these two first round picks two second round picks over the next four you know the first and second rounds to get another really high end receiver.
- 35:35[SPEAKER_03]: So that's why I wanted to ask you next because I'm just going through all the FAQs of the people who were standing around the puppies at training camp yesterday.
- 35:42[SPEAKER_03]: Nick, when you get past those two receivers, it's a bit more of a motley crew of good and bad.
- 35:48[SPEAKER_03]: When it starts with Jerry Judy, obviously.
- 35:56[SPEAKER_03]: I say a bond.
- 35:56[SPEAKER_03]: I'm forgetting.
- 35:56[SPEAKER_03]: You're going to keep six, Jack.
- 35:59[SPEAKER_03]: Well, so short.
- 36:00[SPEAKER_03]: So I want to ask you about one guy specifically, then the room in total.
- 36:03[SPEAKER_03]: Short-term long-term.
- 36:04[SPEAKER_03]: How do you see Jerry Judy factory, and especially with this contract.
- 36:07[SPEAKER_03]: It's these two guys are good in their rookie year.
- 36:10[SPEAKER_03]: And part two is like the rest of those guys like bond will be bond be back.
- 36:14[SPEAKER_03]: His tailman is ceased.
- 36:15[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know how to time and cleave them like quarterly.
- 36:16[SPEAKER_03]: What about that guy?
- 36:17[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 36:17[SPEAKER_02]: So I've got the receiver room like this in my mind for this year.
- 36:21[SPEAKER_02]: It's Judy can sepsion, Boston, and bond.
- 36:26[SPEAKER_02]: Those are your four locks to make this roster.
- 36:29[SPEAKER_02]: You're only gonna roster six receivers.
- 36:31[SPEAKER_02]: So then you have two open spots for guys like Thrash, who was waved today with an injury designation, and it'll be fascinating to see if he's back.
- 36:40[SPEAKER_02]: Tillman, Thailand, Wallace.
- 36:42[SPEAKER_02]: who was a free agent acquisition that can contribute on special teams.
- 36:46[SPEAKER_02]: Um, and then the kids, you know, Luke Floria has been getting action with the ones out there.
- 36:51[SPEAKER_02]: Gage Larviden has a connection with Shidorah Sanders.
- 36:54[SPEAKER_02]: So it'll be fascinating to see how that comes together in the preseason.
- 36:58[SPEAKER_02]: I think for the positions are locked up with Judy, Boston, Concepts-Yone, and Bond.
- 37:03[SPEAKER_02]: It's Tillman, Thailand Wallace, kind of trying to fend off the others to round out that room.
- 37:09[SPEAKER_02]: And then long term.
- 37:12[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know, Jerry Judy's future truly.
- 37:14[SPEAKER_02]: I think his contract has an out after this year.
- 37:16[SPEAKER_02]: I think after this season, it might really only have two years left on it anyway.
- 37:20[SPEAKER_02]: And you could kind of really build this thing, the way that Barry built it this off season.
- 37:24[SPEAKER_02]: You saw he had to eye for the draft picks and the young talent.
- 37:28[SPEAKER_02]: So build it up that way.
- 37:29[SPEAKER_02]: That's what I do.
- 37:30[SPEAKER_00]: So could I circle this back to the quarterbacks?
- 37:32[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, of course.
- 37:33[SPEAKER_02]: I thought to ask you that's a quarterbacks section.
- 37:34[SPEAKER_00]: I have a question for you guys.
- 37:36[SPEAKER_00]: I've seen the QB tracker.
- 37:37[SPEAKER_00]: Like I haven't seen the actual one.
- 37:38[SPEAKER_00]: Who started this, where did it come from?
- 37:40[SPEAKER_00]: I've only seen it in like a meme form of someone talking about it.
- 37:44[SPEAKER_02]: So no names for these quarterback trackers started with one of the local radio outlets.
- 37:50[SPEAKER_02]: Redact in the town.
- 37:51[SPEAKER_00]: Got it.
- 37:51[SPEAKER_02]: Um, started putting this out.
- 37:53[SPEAKER_02]: This was a couple of years ago, you know, just because we just don't.
- 37:56[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, this has been around.
- 37:57[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, this has been around.
- 37:58[SPEAKER_02]: This has been around.
- 37:59[SPEAKER_02]: This has been around.
- 38:00[SPEAKER_00]: into what they're doing because it certainly seems like the same thing every year I don't think we need to track what the quarterbacks are doing because we know that it's not Good.
- 38:07[SPEAKER_02]: Well, and here's the other piece of a gap is it's like It's not a true look at what happens at practice because
- 38:16[SPEAKER_02]: complete, they are not tri- the browns themselves throughout this quarterback competition, they are not tracking completions, touchdowns, interceptions, because it's all based on how it looks to them, based on what they're trying to accomplish on the field.
- 38:30[SPEAKER_02]: So for instance, there was a throw yesterday.
- 38:33[SPEAKER_02]: Shoulder was holding on to it for a long time.
- 38:36[SPEAKER_02]: one of his drawbacks, probably would've been a sack.
- 38:40[SPEAKER_02]: He threw it for a touchdown.
- 38:42[SPEAKER_02]: It goes on the tracker as a touchdown, but in a game, it's probably a sack.
- 38:48[SPEAKER_02]: So you could see when you see somebody, when you see a day where somebody through seven touchdowns, how's that possible?
- 38:54[SPEAKER_02]: Well, the ball crossed the goal line seven times, but,
- 38:58[SPEAKER_02]: Did the whistle blow in a real game with somebody's headbeek to capitated like that's all the context that's missing in the tracker I would my advice anyone put any salt into it will fans do my advice the fans would be to tune it out because It you can learn nothing from it.
- 39:16[SPEAKER_02]: It is literally fodder for people to debate about on social media Like there is no material substance that comes from that tracker like their credible reporters in the Cleveland beat
- 39:27[SPEAKER_02]: you're you're you're Mary K's you're Zack Jackson's the friends of the program that know the ins and outs of what the Browns are trying to accomplish and I give it they're not looking at the track the incredible there there is no credibility to their reporting from said tracker
- 39:43[SPEAKER_02]: Does that make sense?
- 39:44[SPEAKER_00]: It makes sense, but it sounds like a disaster.
- 39:47[SPEAKER_00]: It sounds like another Cleveland Browns.
- 39:48[SPEAKER_02]: Well, that's not going in.
- 39:50[SPEAKER_02]: The thing is, the tracker's not going to go in.
- 39:51[SPEAKER_02]: We're not going to go in.
- 39:52[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to finally stop these quarterback positions and find somebody next to it.
- 39:55[SPEAKER_03]: Next year, it's going to be a list of sellers who are still in Gabriel.
- 39:59[SPEAKER_00]: If it's never stopped.
- 40:00[UNKNOWN]: What are we going to do if it's just.
- 40:01[SPEAKER_02]: Well, I think we could probably try to evaluate, you know, starting to evaluate the team like the rest of the 31 other markets find a way to cover teams without a QB track or like it, in 31 other markets, they do find a way to talk about professional football.
- 40:16[SPEAKER_03]: I was thinking about like, no for a fact they do it.
- 40:18[SPEAKER_03]: I was like, talking to my friends in Buffalo, like I was up there two weekends ago, like I was like, oh, like how are the bills doing?
- 40:22[SPEAKER_03]: Like, I don't know.
- 40:23[SPEAKER_03]: We haven't thought about that in four months.
- 40:24[SPEAKER_03]: We're gonna, yeah, we're gonna win 10 games in pairs.
- 40:27[SPEAKER_00]: So you only think that's happened in the bills training camp so far as they accidentally kind of like slighted James Cook a little bit.
- 40:32[SPEAKER_00]: They said him up for that.
- 40:33[SPEAKER_00]: But.
- 40:34[SPEAKER_00]: That's about it.
- 40:35[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't see that, but no, it sounds like that's just about.
- 40:37[SPEAKER_00]: That's all.
- 40:37[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, it was.
- 40:38[SPEAKER_02]: Gab, I would tell you, don't look at it, mute it.
- 40:41[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 40:42[SPEAKER_02]: Mute it.
- 40:42[SPEAKER_02]: It's, there's, there's, there's not a ton you can learn from it.
- 40:46[SPEAKER_03]: Guys, football's greatest weekend is standing jump between a lot of the people who are there, a lot of the practices.

- 42:52[SPEAKER_03]: uh... we will be betting on or you need to be oh i uh... the way you looked up i thought you're like meaning back to me like the morning announcement great school it's going to be as first home run in a Cleveland Guardians uniform yeah i like joe d'all plus three fifty to go deep tonight Ryan well what that's you think it for the gardo's tonight
- 43:08[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I like the Joe Dell one.
- 43:09[SPEAKER_01]: We saw Nathaniel low get his first one in a little bit.
- 43:13[SPEAKER_01]: I wish it would it came in a win because what a moment that would have been.
- 43:17[SPEAKER_01]: And you know, it just felt so good to see that and hope it continues to have a guy in the heart of the lineup that provides that pop just in his second game here in Cleveland.
- 43:26[SPEAKER_01]: That was awesome to see.
- 43:29[SPEAKER_01]: Can Rokio kind of get off the snide here?
- 43:31[SPEAKER_01]: Are we talking home around here?
- 43:33[SPEAKER_01]: Big difference.
- 43:34[SPEAKER_01]: We'll be different.
- 43:35[SPEAKER_00]: But I'm not like two bases.
- 43:37[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, or what about an RBI?
- 43:40[SPEAKER_00]: I might be a little much.
- 43:41[SPEAKER_00]: How about two bases?
- 43:43[SPEAKER_03]: All about two bases.
- 43:44[SPEAKER_03]: Let's go.
- 43:44[SPEAKER_03]: OK. We'll go two bases.
- 43:45[SPEAKER_03]: Two bases.
- 43:45[SPEAKER_00]: Two bases.
- 43:46[SPEAKER_00]: Two bases.
- 43:47[SPEAKER_00]: Two bases.
- 43:47[SPEAKER_00]: How many runs are they?
- 43:48[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 43:48[SPEAKER_03]: I will say.
- 43:48[SPEAKER_03]: Let's go RBI though.
- 43:49[SPEAKER_03]: Because who always shows up in big moments?
- 43:51[SPEAKER_00]: True.
- 43:52[SPEAKER_03]: A one thing Brian Rokio's doing is showing up in a big game.
- 43:55[SPEAKER_03]: I love the RBI.
- 43:57[SPEAKER_00]: we have not faced this picture on the mountain night so he's new isn't for everything well not really it has a three-night record no i'm saying he's yet no shelter's yet but he's a rookie i mean he's new yeah like young but has actually is jodel and he's over two over two good so what's our third leg our first two rokyo two bases we're doing a jodel no rokyo rbi johama we got a thirteenth line
- 44:23[SPEAKER_01]: We can put that in there.
- 44:24[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like that's yeah, we have to take that.
- 44:26[SPEAKER_01]: Messics pitching.
- 44:27[SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
- 44:28[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, that makes it a fun.
- 44:29[SPEAKER_03]: A fun day to bat strikeouts.
- 44:32[SPEAKER_03]: How many were you thinking no hitter is seven two advantageous no hitter.
- 44:35[SPEAKER_03]: No, no that is seven straightouts to advantageous.
- 44:39[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, we just saw by be throw.
- 44:41[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I don't know.
- 44:41[SPEAKER_01]: It's not against them.
- 44:42[SPEAKER_00]: That's again, but like Parker's Parker's good Parker's good for seven straightouts three games against the white socks four strikeouts 10 and then three.
- 44:50[SPEAKER_03]: So he's due to bounce back and have a big one.
- 44:51[SPEAKER_00]: So like five.
- 44:53[SPEAKER_03]: No, he's four, 10, three.
- 44:54[SPEAKER_03]: So he's due to have like nine.
- 44:56[SPEAKER_01]: I feel comfortable with six.
- 44:57[SPEAKER_03]: Mean, the middle.
- 44:58[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 44:59[SPEAKER_03]: I can do that.
- 45:00[SPEAKER_00]: You can do six.
- 45:01[SPEAKER_03]: So, then that's gonna lock in, looking at a Joe Adel Homer, Brian Rookieo RBI, guards money line, and then Parker Massick's six plus strikeouts.
- 45:09[SPEAKER_03]: It's gonna come out to plus 2,068.
- 45:11[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it's crazy fun.
- 45:12[SPEAKER_03]: On the sandals sportsbook app.
- 45:14[SPEAKER_03]: So yeah, guys, we gotta be locking that one in.
- 45:16[SPEAKER_03]: Then the last thing to talk about topic of the day since we did hit on the guard house a little bit earlier is your Cleveland Sirens.
- 45:22[SPEAKER_03]: First gap, you were over at the day but you was at Tuesday, the announcement?
- 45:27[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 45:27[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, what was because we had Gab Cruz in here on Tuesday and she can't take us through what she thought of it like she was like wowed by the video and everything that went down.
- 45:34[SPEAKER_03]: What were your thoughts on the actual ceremony itself?
- 45:36[SPEAKER_00]: I thought it was awesome.
- 45:37[SPEAKER_00]: I thought they didn't incredible job.
- 45:38[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like they're creative team over there does a great job with like most things that they do.
- 45:41[SPEAKER_03]: Are they tied with the cabs as seen through?
- 45:44[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 45:44[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 45:44[SPEAKER_00]: Do you know Bailey Menser, Shadow Bailey Menser?
- 45:46[SPEAKER_00]: She's amazing.
- 45:46[SPEAKER_03]: I follow her on Instagram.
- 45:47[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know her personal.
- 45:48[SPEAKER_00]: So she's the cab's art director, but now she's also...
- 45:52[SPEAKER_00]: the sirens are directed.
- 45:53[SPEAKER_00]: They better be given her a pay raise.
- 45:54[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 45:54[SPEAKER_00]: They should be.
- 45:55[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you know, if you're switching.
- 45:57[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but she did a great job.
- 45:59[SPEAKER_00]: They've all done an incredible job.
- 46:00[SPEAKER_00]: I thought the rollout was awesome.
- 46:02[SPEAKER_00]: The video was great.
- 46:03[SPEAKER_00]: Everyone was pretty excited.
- 46:04[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like out of all like leaving sports up was the most receptive people have been of something new.
- 46:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 46:10[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like everyone was like, yeah, this is cool.
- 46:11[SPEAKER_01]: We were like, yeah, I mean, obviously there's going to be some like, there release video was pretty damn awesome.
- 46:16[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 46:16[SPEAKER_01]: like the promo they put out on social media and you're big mythology guys too, right?
- 46:20[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 46:21[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, man.
- 46:21[SPEAKER_01]: Dude.
- 46:22[SPEAKER_01]: He's got to say it's got to be cool for you.
- 46:23[SPEAKER_03]: And I totally like my dad's mythology teacher too.
- 46:25[SPEAKER_03]: Like Syrians are so cool too because like they're not like, oh, they're just like this mermaid on a rock.
- 46:30[SPEAKER_03]: Like no, like they're going to call you over and they're going to kill you.
- 46:32[SPEAKER_03]: Like that that doesn't don't be like, like, they are.
- 46:34[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they're and I tweeted.
- 46:35[SPEAKER_01]: I was like, I
- 46:37[SPEAKER_01]: I can't imagine this went into the thought process of it, but maybe it did.
- 46:40[SPEAKER_01]: Like the timing of the eyes of the artists.
- 46:43[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, they were doing it for almost like a whole year, but it like works out great.
- 46:46[SPEAKER_00]: The timing was right with it.
- 46:47[SPEAKER_01]: Perfect.
- 46:48[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that cyber and scene, no spoilers, obviously, but was probably a top-through scene in the whole movie.
- 46:52[SPEAKER_03]: I was going to say too, just we I mentioned it for a half second on Tuesday, but it's so cool to how like the like sirens have two tails and how like the ass on the first siren makes the two tails almost like I don't know, I thought that was a really cool ad and I like when logos do those little like many hidden words or like letters or revisions, whatever The real question that it was not like a minimalist logo.
- 47:12[SPEAKER_03]: They didn't know it's a dope logo and honestly, even to I didn't really think it looked that much like the six years logo.
- 47:18[SPEAKER_00]: Everyone's saying it looked like people say that I see it, but like
- 47:21[SPEAKER_00]: No, I can see it.
- 47:22[SPEAKER_03]: That's why I'm saying it, but like people were like, oh, like, as if it was like, how every state has a high school authority has the Minnesota Vikings logo.
- 47:30[SPEAKER_03]: That's exactly the Viking soldier.
- 47:31[SPEAKER_03]: It wasn't like exactly the same thing.
- 47:33[SPEAKER_01]: I thought how do you guys think the WMBA is going to be received here in Cleveland?
- 47:37[SPEAKER_02]: No, I think we've already kind of got the hint that it's going to be received very well.
- 47:42[SPEAKER_01]: And what I hope is, and here's the big question, is it going to last?
- 47:47[SPEAKER_00]: Is it going to last?
- 47:47[SPEAKER_00]: The excitement.
- 47:50[SPEAKER_00]: I went to a WMBA game, and I think that was the most excitement I've seen in a game ever.
- 47:55[SPEAKER_00]: But that was also a playoff game, but still, it was just awesome.
- 47:59[SPEAKER_00]: The fans are great.
- 48:00[SPEAKER_00]: People weren't in no offense to the guys that go to like a lot of games, but you know, people get like really upset.
- 48:04[SPEAKER_00]: They get really rowdy and angry.
- 48:06[SPEAKER_00]: This was a really fun crowd.
- 48:08[SPEAKER_00]: So hopefully it goes like that.
- 48:09[SPEAKER_03]: Just good vibes all the time.
- 48:10[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 48:11[SPEAKER_03]: I think the biggest thing that worries me about like a draw for like a law is just like it is like gap.
- 48:17[SPEAKER_03]: You put it out like they killed everything.
- 48:19[SPEAKER_03]: Only thing in sucks is they don't have a home game tomorrow, right?
- 48:21[SPEAKER_03]: Like the one thing is like, there is the what?
- 48:25[SPEAKER_03]: two and a half year gap or sorry, not two and a half closer to one and a half to ish where you're not playing a game or like, yes, some of that subsides with then you have things like the expansion drafts like build up the hype again and things like that.
- 48:36[SPEAKER_03]: But I will say I honestly was not just surprised but proud of Cleveland with like the way that the launch came out and like it was really positive.
- 48:43[SPEAKER_03]: Like I just like in general with anything that involves women's sports, like I was expecting that there was going to be a lot more trolls in there where like I thought that half the comments were just going to be like, oh, this sucks.
- 48:51[SPEAKER_03]: Like why are you doing this?
- 48:53[SPEAKER_03]: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
- 49:16[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I saw Monet Davis was the lead off header in the one of the games.
- 49:19[SPEAKER_01]: So I guess it's hard though because they don't even have a roster yet.
- 49:22[SPEAKER_01]: You can't market your players, right?
- 49:24[SPEAKER_03]: So that's what you got top up though, right?
- 49:25[SPEAKER_03]: Because I did a little research on this.
- 49:27[SPEAKER_03]: So as much as I would love to say that I have the ball knowledge of the W where I could project three years into the future.
- 49:34[SPEAKER_03]: What the projected rosters will look like so I could give you the top expansion draft candidates.
- 49:38[SPEAKER_03]: I was not able to do that, but luckily.
- 49:40[SPEAKER_03]: readily available on Google was the list of unrestricted free agents the year that the Cleveland Sirens entered the NBA.
- 49:47[SPEAKER_03]: Asia Wilson, Brianna Stewart, and Sabrina Aynescu are all unrestricted free agents and could possibly be sirens.
- 49:55[SPEAKER_03]: Then the real kicker though,
- 49:56[SPEAKER_03]: is Katelyn Clark and Angel Reese, their contracts come up a year earlier, but they have a chance to sign a one-year contract and then come out as unrestricted free agents that way, like they could go and get their bag, like go get more money, like that, some people do that in the WMV to opt out after the one year, out of those five names, and obviously like, yeah, we talked about earlier, Asia Wilson, one of the best players in WMV history, if you can get her, yeah, you probably want to do that.
- 50:22[SPEAKER_03]: Who would you most want to have on the Cleveland Sirens?
- 50:24[SPEAKER_01]: Or is there another name not on here you'd want Clark because she's young and she has she's the biggest icon in the WMBA Like I'd rather have Asia Wilson.
- 50:32[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I mean I'm just talking about from a growing I'm just I'm not from a growing your brand perspective There's no answer outside of Kate and Clark that would be better for Cleveland and I kind of thought about this too Remember the women's final four with Kate and Clark was in Cleveland.
- 50:47[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, okay.
- 50:47[SPEAKER_00]: We got a good time.
- 50:48[SPEAKER_01]: Did you get a good time?
- 50:49[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think she'll come to Cleveland, but she had a good time here.
- 50:51[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think any of them are going to say, hey, I'm going to go to Cleveland as a first year team and join that.
- 50:57[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, I don't think that's going to happen.
- 50:58[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like some talk.
- 50:59[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not sure.
- 51:00[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not saying it's like scripted, but I feel like sometimes in leagues they do like.
- 51:04[SPEAKER_03]: Hey, like, that'd be a lot of, if you go somewhere out to, or a lot of, you can also do it too, and then you can sneak him a lot of, or he's hopped through your something, but I don't know.
- 51:11[SPEAKER_03]: I thought that'd be interesting theoretical.
- 51:13[SPEAKER_03]: Do you have this, is that the sirens, uh, sweatshirt now?
- 51:15[SPEAKER_03]: You got to flush for the camera.
- 51:16[SPEAKER_00]: Tell people are like, I mean, you got their merch.
- 51:18[SPEAKER_00]: I got it at, uh, what's their team store called center court.
- 51:21[SPEAKER_03]: I won't owe the one down yet, uh, bang.
- 51:23[SPEAKER_01]: I won't owe it on so bad.
- 51:23[SPEAKER_00]: This was only, and now I'm saying only, it's a Nike sweatshirt, but it was only $80.
- 51:28[SPEAKER_03]: No, it's a sports sweatshirt, so that one.
- 51:30[SPEAKER_00]: It was like a Nike one.
- 51:31[SPEAKER_00]: I thought it was going to be like
- 51:33[SPEAKER_03]: I remember do you know do you guys do that big like puffy guardians jacket?
- 51:36[SPEAKER_03]: I have yeah That's like $300 like a hundred and fifty like it's just ridiculous like but like you would just never like I like if they don't extend Travis Pazana after I paid for that starter jacket I'm gonna be pissed.
- 51:47[SPEAKER_01]: Let me tell you silence have the ability Yeah, you said it's a Nike sweatshirt.
- 51:52[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, do they have the ability to lower the prices?
- 51:55[SPEAKER_01]: Like if they wanted to
- 51:57[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, they're selling them in their own team store.
- 51:59[SPEAKER_00]: I think they set the prices.
- 52:00[SPEAKER_01]: Because like I wonder, even if you just made it like even $60, like what would you almost be better off because of the brand visibility?
- 52:05[SPEAKER_00]: That's what I was going to say is like, well, I was in that team store after the announcement.
- 52:09[SPEAKER_00]: You could not move everything.
- 52:10[SPEAKER_00]: Like it sold out.
- 52:11[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, they really stocked everything the next day, but it was crazy in there.
- 52:14[SPEAKER_03]: But I'm saying like when you hit the wall, it's like like obviously that day you're going to have like when you have everyone down town like concentrated for the release like you're going to have a big crowd like Ryan I love their idea like why not like take like yeah, I'm sure there are like I'll go out and probably get a sweatshirt somewhat similar that are being being me proudly as for my out my alley, but there are the people who are like okay like maybe any sports team I'm not buying $80 for that below me, you know, but hey like
- 52:40[SPEAKER_03]: It was 20 bucks for this hat, like yeah, I'll rock the siren.
- 52:43[SPEAKER_03]: And then that's how you get to gear like circulating around town.
- 52:45[SPEAKER_00]: I think they'll do more of that.
- 52:46[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, this was just their first merch rollouts.
- 52:48[SPEAKER_00]: Everything was pretty basic.
- 52:49[SPEAKER_00]: It was just like this logo, a couple other things.
- 52:51[SPEAKER_00]: It was, it wasn't a lot of variety.
- 52:53[SPEAKER_00]: There were some Lulu Lemon items.
- 52:54[SPEAKER_00]: Those were obviously way more expensive.
- 52:55[SPEAKER_00]: But it was pretty standard.
- 52:57[SPEAKER_00]: There was like three different hats.
- 52:58[SPEAKER_00]: They all saw that.
- 52:59[SPEAKER_03]: The CS logo was cool.
- 53:00[SPEAKER_03]: It was like this, like, to see you like siren.
- 53:02[SPEAKER_01]: And then, like, we also talk about the hashtag.
- 53:07[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, here in the call.
- 53:07[SPEAKER_03]: So sick.
- 53:08[SPEAKER_01]: So sick.
- 53:09[SPEAKER_01]: And it just fits so well.
- 53:10[SPEAKER_03]: Well, here's my thing.
- 53:11[SPEAKER_03]: I don't give it to that rocket group is they across all of their teams.
- 53:15[SPEAKER_03]: They always killed the hashtag like the calves have had a lot of no for like what four or five years now.
- 53:19[SPEAKER_00]: But I'm tired of letting them now.
- 53:20[SPEAKER_03]: See my thing was I think arts ball.
- 53:23[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'm tired of it sucks.
- 53:24[SPEAKER_03]: It always have sucks.
- 53:25[SPEAKER_03]: You should never.
- 53:26[SPEAKER_03]: And I said this on the show a thousand times.
- 53:28[SPEAKER_03]: So please stop and whatever you want.
- 53:30[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know why you would ever make our like we're so proud that we hit balls 80 miles an hour off the bat and bloops in front of your left shoulder and then the other team makes an error and then we steal a bay so we bond and we went three to two thumbs down thumbs down 95 miles an hour and under and that's probably basically Steven Steven clans thumbs just stay down I thought I was like this because it was
- 53:50[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, just like in the middle of like a 94 or 95 point one.
- 53:52[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, yeah, just like right on the line But I think like let him know for its time was awesome before it like I think really when JB left almost They should have gotten rid of it because I was kind of like that era Monsters is fear the depth, which I think is so cool like for like having like the Lake Eury monster is your thing and then here the call so cool for the siren Garza their best one was 2016.
- 54:12[SPEAKER_03]: It was rally together
- 54:16[SPEAKER_03]: And it's just such a cool like the whole city like I don't know if that even for the land is better than for the I like the when it was like all for one one for all the one year I think it was like maybe like what Browns first year back.
- 54:28[SPEAKER_03]: I want to say that that was good one then the Browns always just have the worst one Browns.
- 54:32[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah So who runs dog pound Punch and brown we're ranked the team hashtags sirens one
- 54:38[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'll go here to call wine.
- 54:39[SPEAKER_01]: Wow, so we're already saying the science of the best hashtag and Cleveland.
- 54:42[SPEAKER_00]: They haven't disappeared.
- 54:42[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not opposed.
- 54:43[SPEAKER_00]: Over the other.
- 54:44[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm not saying that's, I was against wild.
- 54:46[SPEAKER_01]: No, I would agree.
- 54:48[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, it's either that or year 19, a lot of no.
- 54:50[SPEAKER_03]: Who are we letting, again, who are we letting now?
- 54:53[SPEAKER_00]: the New York Times.
- 54:54[SPEAKER_00]: Not the sixers.
- 54:55[SPEAKER_00]: That's pretty much.
- 54:56[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 54:58[SPEAKER_00]: We're not letting them know anything.
- 54:59[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 54:59[SPEAKER_01]: So here the call officially.
- 55:01[SPEAKER_01]: Let him know hashtag and Cleveland.
- 55:03[SPEAKER_01]: Gards ball dog pound.
- 55:04[SPEAKER_01]: Book it.
- 55:04[SPEAKER_00]: Is it even dog pound?
- 55:05[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's just Browns.
- 55:06[SPEAKER_03]: It is hashtag dog pound.
- 55:07[SPEAKER_00]: Again.
- 55:07[SPEAKER_03]: And I think it has been since I started working here in typing out the SEOs on Twitter.
- 55:13[SPEAKER_03]: So yeah, they need to, they need to get a new, a new one going out into the, into the realm.
- 55:16[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe they just shouldn't have one.
