- 0:00Speaker 1: All right, guys, here we are last break of the
- 0:02Speaker 1: day on this Friday, and.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Steve's what do you have for us?
- 0:05Speaker 1: Closing remarks wise today.
- 0:07Speaker 3: Yeah, here's something that I think is very helpful to people,
- 0:13Speaker 3: and it will help you open yourself up to really
- 0:17Speaker 3: what God truly can have for you. And the reason
- 0:21Speaker 3: I'm saying that is because oftentimes we limit what God
- 0:26Speaker 3: can do in our lives simply by the way we
- 0:30Speaker 3: think and simply by our expectations. God has no He's limitless.
- 0:38Speaker 3: You can't put him in a box. You can't put
- 0:41Speaker 3: what God can do for you in the parameters of
- 0:45Speaker 3: your thinking. What you've got to do is you've got
- 0:48Speaker 3: to open up your mind so you can be open
- 0:51Speaker 3: to all of His goodness and what He can do
- 0:54Speaker 3: for you. And I'm saying that to say this because
- 0:59Speaker 3: a lot of times people ask God and only think
- 1:04Speaker 3: about stuff that they can see themselves attaining. Basically, with
- 1:09Speaker 3: your check, there's a scripture that says you have not
- 1:12Speaker 3: cause you ask not. Well, then most people go, Lord,
- 1:16Speaker 3: help me make my rent. And then I have to
- 1:18Speaker 3: ask you, well, don't he always? Why would you not
- 1:21Speaker 3: ask God for a mortgage?
- 1:23Speaker 2: Well? Become a homeowner.
- 1:25Speaker 3: Then here comes the thinking of man when you start
- 1:29Speaker 3: putting in stuff like well, I don't make enough money,
- 1:33Speaker 3: my credit score, I haven't been on my job long enough.
- 1:39Speaker 3: I can't afford that. Therefore, why would I sit up
- 1:43Speaker 3: and ask for that? See, you're knocking yourself out of
- 1:48Speaker 3: so many blessings that God can have for you by
- 1:52Speaker 3: your limited thinking. Because God has no limits, so you
- 1:57Speaker 3: have to open up your mind to start thinking of
- 2:01Speaker 3: things that is in your imagination. Why would you not
- 2:05Speaker 3: ask God for a big house? You don't think that
- 2:09Speaker 3: God got enough sense based on this scripture you have
- 2:12Speaker 3: not caused you asked. Now, most people don't ask because
- 2:15Speaker 3: they don't see no way they can get it. You
- 2:17Speaker 3: don't think that if you ask God for a big house,
- 2:20Speaker 3: you don't think he got enough sense to make a
- 2:22Speaker 3: way for you to.
- 2:22Speaker 2: Get the house.
- 2:23Speaker 3: You don't think that he knows that you need more
- 2:27Speaker 3: money and that he know how to make a way
- 2:29Speaker 3: for you to make more money. You don't think he
- 2:31Speaker 3: got that part figured out. You think he needs your
- 2:33Speaker 3: help figuring that out. You don't think that he know
- 2:36Speaker 3: that if you got X amount of dollars, your credit
- 2:38Speaker 3: scoring really don't matter.
- 2:39Speaker 2: You don't think he know that.
- 2:41Speaker 3: He know all of that, but you've limited to see
- 2:44Speaker 3: what he can do and how he can move in
- 2:46Speaker 3: your life because you won't think big enough.
- 2:49Speaker 2: That is a book that changed my life.
- 2:52Speaker 3: The name of the book is called The Magic of
- 2:55Speaker 3: Thinking Big, and it's by David Schwartz.
- 2:58Speaker 2: It's the Magic.
- 2:59Speaker 3: Of Thinking Big, and I didn't understand this until I
- 3:03Speaker 3: was selling Amway. Amway was one of the greatest periods
- 3:07Speaker 3: of my life because it introduced me to positive books.
- 3:13Speaker 3: It introduced me to self motivation and self help books.
- 3:17Speaker 3: And those are really the only books I read outside
- 3:19Speaker 3: of the Bible. I don't read anything. I don't read novels,
- 3:22Speaker 3: love stories. I ain't got no time for that. But
- 3:24Speaker 3: The Power of Positive Thinking about Norman Vincent Peel, Think
- 3:27Speaker 3: and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. The Magic of Thinking
- 3:30Speaker 3: Big by David Schwartz. I have time to read that
- 3:34Speaker 3: because The Magic of Thinking Big taught me something. It
- 3:37Speaker 3: taught me that it does not require any more brain
- 3:41Speaker 3: power to think big than it does to think small.
- 3:45Speaker 3: It doesn't require anymore You ain't got to grunt. Look,
- 3:50Speaker 3: you can say Volkswagon, or you can say Rose Royce.
- 3:54Speaker 3: It doesn't your brain don't have to shift and burn.
- 3:59Speaker 3: Most safe, you got to throw yourself into something to
- 4:03Speaker 3: say Rose Royce versus Volkswagon. It doesn't hurt more to
- 4:08Speaker 3: say rent or mortgage. It doesn't hurt no more to
- 4:12Speaker 3: say new car than use car. It doesn't hurt more
- 4:18Speaker 3: to say hand me down than it costs than it
- 4:22Speaker 3: costs you to say brand new. If you buy this book,
- 4:26Speaker 3: The Magic of Thinking Big by David Schwartz, it's an
- 4:28Speaker 3: amazing way. It changed my thinking in my twenties, and
- 4:32Speaker 3: so I started thinking big. Once I started thinking big,
- 4:36Speaker 3: I started opening up to the possibilities of God. Because
- 4:39Speaker 3: God is big? Am I not right? God is big?
- 4:42Speaker 3: So why would you get in the way of his
- 4:44Speaker 3: bigness with your small mindedness. See, you're getting in the
- 4:48Speaker 3: way of your blessings by the way you think. You
- 4:51Speaker 3: keep thinking in terms of your paycheck. Get God ain't
- 4:54Speaker 3: in your paycheck. Get out of your paycheck man, Get
- 4:58Speaker 3: out of your current situation. Where you are is just temporary.
- 5:02Speaker 3: God has another place for you. God got a great
- 5:05Speaker 3: life for you, but you got to invite him in
- 5:09Speaker 3: and let him show it to you. Quit wasting his
- 5:12Speaker 3: time with this little bit of man. Get out of
- 5:14Speaker 3: your own way. You are in your way with your
- 5:19Speaker 3: limited thinking. People ask me all the time, man, why
- 5:23Speaker 3: you always at the meetings while you run?
- 5:25Speaker 2: Why don't you just sit down and take your day off?
- 5:26Speaker 3: Because I can't get where I'm going sitting down taking
- 5:29Speaker 3: my days off. I'm about the business of becoming successful
- 5:33Speaker 3: and happy. Now am I successful?
- 5:36Speaker 2: Yeah? Am I happy? Yeah?
- 5:37Speaker 3: Happier than I ever been? But and I have everything
- 5:41Speaker 3: I need? Can I tell y'all that I don't need
- 5:44Speaker 3: nothing else? But I'm in the wrong side of life.
- 5:48Speaker 3: I just won't. I'm not greedy. I'm not asking you
- 5:52Speaker 3: to give me nothing. I'm willing to work for other
- 5:55Speaker 3: things I want.
- 5:56Speaker 2: I want to.
- 5:56Speaker 3: See how the other class of people live. I want
- 5:59Speaker 3: to see what that's like. I want to see what
- 6:01Speaker 3: it's like when my grandchildren's children will remember my name
- 6:06Speaker 3: because I left them something, because I created a legacy
- 6:10Speaker 3: that I put money away from my grandchildren and my
- 6:13Speaker 3: children's children. That's what I'm working on. You can do that.
- 6:17Speaker 3: God is capable. Get out your way. This is the
- 6:20Speaker 3: book again, y'all. The Magic of Thinking Big by David Schwartz.
- 6:23Speaker 3: Go By, go By, Just go by it, they change
- 6:27Speaker 3: the way you think.
