Nate's NCAA men's college basketball March Madness Wager 0322 · Nate's Daily Wager

• 0:06
Welcome to Nate's daily wager. I ain't picking winners, but I
• 0:10
am making wagers. Time to put my money where my
• 0:13
mouth is. This is Nate's daily wager for
• 0:21
March 22nd, 2025 and I was feeling better yesterday, but
• 0:28
this morning I'm still feeling kind of crappy.
• 0:32
Luckily, my pick yesterday, my wager yesterday, it was not
• 0:35
crappy and we got the win. I'm glad I flip-flopped on
• 0:40
myself there and what I was noticing.
• 0:44
Perhaps some of you out there are noticing as well as this.
• 0:46
March Madness is a little short on the madness.
• 0:50
Yeah, there's been a couple upsets, but nothing major.
• 0:53
There's been a couple good games, but those are by the, you
• 0:56
know, 8-9 seeds, the games that are supposed to be close, you
• 1:00
know, 7 tens, 8 nines. So here's what I'm thinking.
• 1:04
This isn't really a March Madness.
• 1:06
It's more like March Chalk, right?
• 1:09
So I like Houston, Houston's good team, solid score on
• 1:13
anybody. And they're playing the Zags,
• 1:16
Gonzaga Mid Major, who's become a household name, almost a name
• 1:20
  brand these days. Now, Houston.
• 1:23
Houston was a name brand way back when I was a youngin and
• 1:26
not so much these days. So I think there's a lot more
• 1:29
public money coming in on the Zags than there should be.
• 1:32
And that's why the line's as low as it is.
• 1:36
It's in a four and a half. So I think the Cougs are going
• 1:41
to go in there, Houston that is, and just blow them out.
• 1:45
So 4 1/2 doesn't bother me and I'm fine laying that, especially
• 1:49
given the way this tournament's going.
• 1:51
And, you know, we take the chalk, may not be sexy, may not
• 1:55
be, you know, something that makes you excited, but you know
• 1:59
what it does puts money in our pocket.
• 2:01
And that's what we're about. So we're going to take
• 2:04
University of Houston -4 1/2 over Gonzaga Bulldogs in today's
• 2:11
NCAA men's college basketball March Madness chalk action.
• 2:17
See anything better than that? Found it.
• 2:18
That's my pick and I'm sticking to it.
