- 0:00Speaker 1: John Day Rich.
- 0:00Speaker 2: Every once in a while we take call some people
- 0:02Speaker 2: that see Kyle out in the wild.
- 0:06Speaker 1: Right, it's pretty cool. It's usually shopping for a bargain somewhere. Yeah, people.
- 0:09Speaker 2: Yeah, And sometimes people send the pictures of Kyle out
- 0:12Speaker 2: in the wild. But Peyton, what was your experience?
- 0:14Speaker 1: So I got a text message from my friend. It
- 0:17Speaker 1: was right around like the afternoon time, and she goes,
- 0:19Speaker 1: I just saw Rich walking out of the gym. And
- 0:22Speaker 1: she had told me that she's seen you a couple
- 0:24Speaker 1: of times. And I always ask her, so, like, what
- 0:26Speaker 1: is Rich doing?
- 0:27Speaker 3: Is he on the treadmill?
- 0:28Speaker 1: She's like, no, He's always walking the room. She's never sizing.
- 0:38Speaker 3: Well, I do get, I get, I get stopped, and
- 0:40Speaker 3: I talked to people. I talked to people.
- 0:42Speaker 1: That's what I'm worried about.
- 0:47Speaker 3: So for the longest time, when I would go to
- 0:49Speaker 3: the gym, I would go to my friend's gym, and
- 0:51Speaker 3: at noon there's nobody in this little gym but me
- 0:54Speaker 3: and him. But he closed his Jim he sold it.
- 0:56Speaker 3: So I joined Jim. And when I say hello to this,
- 1:00Speaker 3: I feel like, well, now the pressure's on to do more.
- 1:02Speaker 3: Because once you say hello and you're on your way
- 1:05Speaker 3: and you put in your little AirPods and you go.
- 1:07Speaker 3: It's like, well, I better do five more of whatever
- 1:10Speaker 3: it is that I'm doing, so people don't think you're
- 1:12Speaker 3: messing around. But apparently she just seen me walking around, Yeah,
- 1:16Speaker 3: walking rod.
- 1:16Speaker 4: She's like, he just looks around.
- 1:24Speaker 1: How you doing?
- 1:25Speaker 3: What?
- 1:25Speaker 1: You got there? Twenty minutes on the tread.
- 1:29Speaker 3: It is totally I totally forgot the big gym experience
- 1:33Speaker 3: that like when you walk into a massive place. So
- 1:36Speaker 3: I would say over a Memorial Day weekend. Normally when
- 1:39Speaker 3: I go, there's not a ton of people there. But
- 1:41Speaker 3: when I went over a Memorial Day weekend, it was
- 1:43Speaker 3: Monday morning at about nine o'clock. I have never seen
- 1:47Speaker 3: any place so crowded. There must that they must have
- 1:49Speaker 3: been max capacity. You couldn't park in the gym parking lot,
- 1:53Speaker 3: you had to park on the street. Every treadmill was full.
- 1:57Speaker 3: Every little place that you could like you know, lift
- 2:00Speaker 3: anything was full. So I did walk around for a
- 2:02Speaker 3: while and did not really do a whole lot of
- 2:04Speaker 3: that day, you know, speaking of the gym.
- 2:06Speaker 2: So I have my morning routine that I have and
- 2:09Speaker 2: I have a like kind of an exercise room in
- 2:11Speaker 2: my house, and I have my morning routine and I
- 2:14Speaker 2: do everyone before I come in here, and on the weekends,
- 2:16Speaker 2: I've expanded that routine a little bit, so I added
- 2:19Speaker 2: two more exercises to my morning routine. And my wife,
- 2:24Speaker 2: she likes to meet me in the hot tub in
- 2:25Speaker 2: the morning on the weekends, but she does her routine,
- 2:27Speaker 2: which is meditation and all this stuff. Right, So when
- 2:30Speaker 2: I got up way before she did, and I went
- 2:32Speaker 2: to the gym, and I was texting her, Hey, I'm
- 2:34Speaker 2: on the treadmill.
- 2:35Speaker 1: Hey, I'm doing this.
- 2:36Speaker 2: Then I was like, I was like, I wanted to
- 2:39Speaker 2: write down, I've added two more exercises to my routine,
- 2:42Speaker 2: so I'm gonna be at a little bit later. And
- 2:44Speaker 2: I could not spell exercise to save my life. And
- 2:47Speaker 2: it wouldn't even auto correct. The sea go autorect doesn't
- 2:51Speaker 2: even know what I'm doing. So I had to come
- 2:53Speaker 2: up with another word for exercise. So I wrote down,
- 2:54Speaker 2: I come up with two more movements. So I'm going
- 2:56Speaker 2: to be doing today movement and I'm reading movements, I'm
- 2:59Speaker 2: like to bid two more workouts.
- 3:03Speaker 1: It's not two more workouts. I could not spell exercise.
- 3:06Speaker 1: It is such a hard word to spell.
- 3:08Speaker 3: Sometimes I think auto correct, like just Jack's with you.
- 3:10Speaker 3: It's like, you know what I'm trying to say, be
- 3:13Speaker 3: able to get a little closer than nothing.
- 3:15Speaker 1: Yeah, what about what you said? You worked out with
- 3:16Speaker 1: some pro athlete or something.
- 3:18Speaker 3: My buddy Jamie, who was a baseball player in college,
- 3:21Speaker 3: played a little bit in the MLB, and so we
- 3:24Speaker 3: agreed to meet a few times a week and work
- 3:25Speaker 3: out together.
- 3:26Speaker 1: At this gym.
- 3:27Speaker 2: At this gym, yeah, it was public. You're working out
- 3:29Speaker 2: with a pro pro athlete.
- 3:32Speaker 3: And he's he's like, you know, I want to lose
- 3:34Speaker 3: twenty pounds. He's like I need to lose another four pounds. Like, well,
- 3:37Speaker 3: you could do that, you know, you could just get
- 3:39Speaker 3: you know, like diarrhea. You'd be fun. He's running me
- 3:44Speaker 3: through his routine and it's very it hurts. It hurts
- 3:49Speaker 3: a lot. Like the next day and I call him like, hey,
- 3:52Speaker 3: to you are your legs totally totally sor I know.
- 3:54Speaker 3: He's like, no, I'm good, I can't walk, but okay o.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Man.
- 4:01Speaker 3: I always think he's mad at me because they'll like
- 4:02Speaker 3: finish up before I do with stuff.
- 4:04Speaker 1: I think he's mad. And then what's he just go.
- 4:07Speaker 3: He doesn't for he's he's he's a fun guy until
- 4:11Speaker 3: you go work out, and then he's dead serious. I
- 4:14Speaker 3: mean there's I couldn't get a smile out of him,
- 4:16Speaker 3: and I was, I was bringing my best gym material tool.
- 4:19Speaker 3: I was getting nothing out of this guy. But anyway,
- 4:21Speaker 3: we're going again. I think today today a little bit later.
- 4:24Speaker 2: So they see you at the gym and people say
- 4:26Speaker 2: hi to you. You're cool, go talking to people, of course,
- 4:28Speaker 2: but you don't door got in.
- 4:29Speaker 1: Well, I try to.
- 4:32Speaker 3: I try to do something that's not typical of me,
- 4:34Speaker 3: is I try to have a friendly conversation in a
- 4:36Speaker 3: hurry and then walk off and go.
- 4:38Speaker 1: Do my You're talking to people they don't even know
- 4:39Speaker 1: who you are. I wait till I'm stopped. I was
- 4:42Speaker 1: at the gym on time.
- 4:43Speaker 2: I was at the gym, and I was and I
- 4:45Speaker 2: went to the gym just to steam and sauna. I
- 4:48Speaker 2: went to that phase. D you remember that? Yeah, so
- 4:50Speaker 2: I remember. I get to the gym, I take off
- 4:52Speaker 2: my clothes. I got a talent and you know how
- 4:53Speaker 2: we have a towel on you. You have to adjustice.
- 4:55Speaker 2: Sometimes you put your naked tower on your waist and
- 4:57Speaker 2: then it's over here.
- 4:58Speaker 1: And I go, I got to open it up, like
- 5:00Speaker 1: to justice. Yeah, you you don't want to you don't
- 5:01Speaker 1: want to slip to be right in the front. I'm walking.
- 5:04Speaker 2: I got out of the out of the steam room
- 5:06Speaker 2: in the cold plunch, and I'm walking with the tower
- 5:07Speaker 2: on my waist.
- 5:07Speaker 1: I had to adjust this.
- 5:08Speaker 2: I open it up, and I'm naked, and then there's
- 5:11Speaker 2: my junk and everything, and I see a guy right
- 5:14Speaker 2: in front of me, so it almost looks like I
- 5:15Speaker 2: flashed him right, but I was just turning my towel,
- 5:18Speaker 2: adjusting my towel. Cut to later our friend Jamie Comstock,
- 5:22Speaker 2: that was her brother. My brother saw you at the
- 5:25Speaker 2: gym getting out of the steam room. I'm like, oh god.
- 5:30Speaker 4: He literally was eyes to junk, eyes to junk junk. No,
- 5:36Speaker 4: she goes, he didn't. He saw you walk into gym
- 5:38Speaker 4: and then he saw you steam and leave. Did you
- 5:39Speaker 4: work out? Like didn't work out?
- 5:42Speaker 3: He's got these reports.
- 5:46Speaker 1: I was naked. It was terrible, terrible. Anyway. Anyway, if
- 5:50Speaker 1: you ever see Rich working out, let us know. Please
- 5:53Speaker 1: tell
