- 0:00Speaker 1: All right, what up, y'all.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Welcome to the Ball Brothers Podcast. My name is Kevin.
- 0:06Speaker 2: This is Tony Baker.
- 0:07Speaker 3: Man.
- 0:07Speaker 2: We're in here, man, we're in here talking movies and
- 0:10Speaker 2: the like. All Right, today, we got a fun question
- 0:13Speaker 2: that we got from the internet. Actually, somebody put Gian
- 0:17Speaker 2: Carlo No, somebody puts gian Carlo Esposito thinks him as
- 0:21Speaker 2: Professor X and Denzel Washington as Mcneito would be great
- 0:24Speaker 2: for an X Men movie.
- 0:25Speaker 1: So me and Tony said.
- 0:26Speaker 2: Well, we might as well recast the Black X Men
- 0:29Speaker 2: starting from there. So Jean Carlo Esposito is Professor Charles
- 0:38Speaker 2: Xavier Watkins Watkins, Denzel Washington is Magnito. First of all,
- 0:49Speaker 2: would love to see Jean Carlo as Professor X and
- 0:54Speaker 2: Denzel as a villain.
- 0:58Speaker 1: Magneto is not a villain truly, He's just.
- 1:04Speaker 2: If you know the history of X Minu, it's based
- 1:05Speaker 2: on Martina King and Malcolm x So. X Men ninety
- 1:09Speaker 2: seven actually does a really good job of this as well.
- 1:12Speaker 2: They're more kill Monger Black Panther than like good and bad.
- 1:16Speaker 1: They're just different.
- 1:17Speaker 3: Feel Magneto, you feel him. I'm tired of how humans
- 1:21Speaker 3: have been treating us. This whole time, and I can
- 1:23Speaker 3: do something about it. We can do something about this.
- 1:26Speaker 3: Y'all hating on us, and that's wrong with us. We
- 1:28Speaker 3: were born this way. Leave us alone. He's you one
- 1:31Speaker 3: hundred percent more people feel Magneto than Professor.
- 1:34Speaker 1: You're absolutely right, like, no, we must man, fuck that.
- 1:38Speaker 3: They out here attacking us though, sick of this man,
- 1:44Speaker 3: but Eric, now, Man, Charles, you're sitting there your ideals
- 1:49Speaker 3: and like you, we can showed that we better, We
- 1:51Speaker 3: are better than them, and that's why they hate us.
- 1:55Speaker 3: I'm sick of it, Charles.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Would you go Magneto or Professor X.
- 2:02Speaker 3: That that that's the internal conflict that I had, because
- 2:04Speaker 3: Magneto will be going too.
- 2:06Speaker 1: Win the house now that's him. Yeah, man will kill
- 2:11Speaker 1: her babies.
- 2:12Speaker 3: Hey, mag I'm an in between her independence.
- 2:16Speaker 2: Man, they don't have no rosparo. You ain't no rosparo.
- 2:19Speaker 2: You either Professor X or Magneto. You was a mule
- 2:23Speaker 2: with power.
- 2:23Speaker 3: But I'm a combination of the two ideals.
- 2:25Speaker 1: You're the bakery man. You can create, you can conduct cause.
- 2:28Speaker 3: I'm gonna save your life, but I'm gonna cuts you
- 2:30Speaker 3: out while.
- 2:30Speaker 2: I'm doing Itgno's gonna be like, and they kill him, you.
- 2:33Speaker 1: Cuss them out. You gotta kill him because you can't be.
- 2:35Speaker 3: In there be saving you, be like your dumb mass
- 2:37Speaker 3: shouldn't have been out there anyway. While he's sitting here
- 2:39Speaker 3: spray painting. Kill mutis out here, this mute, this muty
- 2:43Speaker 3: is saving your ass. I'm gonna be on your neck
- 2:46Speaker 3: the whole time I take this punk ass back to
- 2:48Speaker 3: your uik ass Homo safing family, like, I'm sick of
- 2:52Speaker 3: y'all out here hating on her. You can't even do
- 2:54Speaker 3: this ship out there? You jealous? Can you let a
- 2:57Speaker 3: take and you can you lift the tank?
- 2:59Speaker 1: You man?
- 3:01Speaker 3: And I didn't even I didn't even suit nothing. Now,
- 3:03Speaker 3: I was just born this way and I watched my
- 3:05Speaker 3: family get exterminated in World War two. You sitting up
- 3:07Speaker 3: here wining over with nothing because you feel intimidated.
- 3:11Speaker 2: See, but at the end, you might kill him. You
- 3:13Speaker 2: might be so pissed off me. I'll kidding you right now, cause.
- 3:15Speaker 1: You be right, you're right there, so pissed. You're right
- 3:19Speaker 1: on it.
- 3:19Speaker 3: You had a whole hate group towards us, and you
- 3:22Speaker 3: sitting here at the mercy of me. Man, you know what.
- 3:27Speaker 1: That's all Magneto did. The more he talked, the more
- 3:31Speaker 1: pissed off he got. He's like, you know what, I'll
- 3:33Speaker 1: kill you right now.
- 3:34Speaker 3: I'm gonna crush you.
- 3:34Speaker 2: That's why I love the X For ninety seven he
- 3:36Speaker 2: was actually trying to be good. And then they brought
- 3:38Speaker 2: the helicopter. He said, and see and this, why don't
- 3:40Speaker 2: be with you? And now and now I got and
- 3:43Speaker 2: y'all forced my head and it was like that, sorry man, no.
- 3:46Speaker 3: No, no, mann. The helicopters tilted. The blade was like
- 3:51Speaker 3: you chill, Magneto. No man, y'all should have chilled.
- 3:53Speaker 1: Ain't no chill.
- 3:54Speaker 3: But you came in here with this nonsense.
- 3:56Speaker 2: Ain't no chill. And he had ninety seven. He got
- 3:58Speaker 2: the luxurious head. He took help it off.
- 4:02Speaker 3: That's how he was in the comic.
- 4:03Speaker 1: It was floating.
- 4:04Speaker 3: He got his shoulders out of this, like, man, what's up? Man?
- 4:07Speaker 3: I used to smash rogue? What's up? You know what
- 4:10Speaker 3: I'm saying? You think you think Eric ain't gonna get
- 4:14Speaker 3: no dog? You think he ain't got no magnetism. Come on, man,
- 4:20Speaker 3: you think Charles is the only one getting the lady?
- 4:23Speaker 3: Like he passed it up over there in the chair.
- 4:26Speaker 3: Magneto out here, fully functional.
- 4:29Speaker 2: Rogue, no rug, no ask rog She took that glove
- 4:34Speaker 2: off one more time.
- 4:36Speaker 3: You know.
- 4:38Speaker 1: As well.
- 4:40Speaker 3: Let me pony tail it n really, let me let
- 4:43Speaker 3: me fix your car.
- 4:44Speaker 2: Girl.
- 4:45Speaker 3: With just my hands. I could take it apart and
- 4:47Speaker 3: put it back.
- 4:48Speaker 1: Pony tail it up, man Bunn, if you will, you.
- 4:51Speaker 3: Know, you know, Magneto getting the buns out here.
- 4:54Speaker 2: Man, I love the villains. Man, I got the helmet.
- 4:57Speaker 2: Everybody want to see what I gonna mean the helmet,
- 4:59Speaker 2: more help more him. That's what something need, the helmet.
- 5:02Speaker 2: All right, So Magneto's Denzel Professor x gian Carlo. Let's
- 5:06Speaker 2: start with the leader, Cyclops, who's the black Michael B.
- 5:09Speaker 3: Jordan's Michael B. Jordan.
- 5:15Speaker 2: You know what, he actually might be good saying I
- 5:18Speaker 2: thought you were playing no, but he actually might be good.
- 5:21Speaker 3: It would be a great Cyclops he is.
- 5:25Speaker 1: Yeah, he got the leader.
- 5:27Speaker 3: At the leadership quality. He got the good dude essence.
- 5:31Speaker 1: He does have that all American, all American guy about him.
- 5:35Speaker 2: Feel like he could be in Abercrimeian fish spread and
- 5:38Speaker 2: be like he's still probably black though, but he got
- 5:40Speaker 2: to take the check.
- 5:41Speaker 1: You know what, I'm saying he's physically fit, got.
- 5:44Speaker 3: The fit, handsome, The ladies find them a pillow. This
- 5:47Speaker 3: is all stuff that that's about. Scott Summons. Yeah, because
- 5:50Speaker 3: Wolverine always be like pretty boy, you know what I'm saying.
- 5:53Speaker 3: So he's you know, the women like Cyclops. But yeah,
- 5:56Speaker 3: some some people would consider Cyclops a square for sure.
- 6:01Speaker 2: Russell Wilson, Yeah, but he don't mind the leader of
- 6:05Speaker 2: his own skin. He's comfortable his own skin. He don't
- 6:08Speaker 2: he don't mind doing the right thing. He doesn't get
- 6:10Speaker 2: rattled easy. I mean him and log and go at it.
- 6:13Speaker 2: But you never feel like like if they got into
- 6:17Speaker 2: a fire. You feel like side cops all especially.
- 6:19Speaker 3: Ninety seven syd Clubs always holds back. He always puts
- 6:22Speaker 3: his integrity first, for sure, integrity and leadership first, the
- 6:25Speaker 3: good of the team all that.
- 6:27Speaker 2: Yeah, now that's good. Yeah, I thought you were playing,
- 6:30Speaker 2: but that actually is a good cast.
- 6:31Speaker 3: Would be Jordan to be great as Cyclops.
- 6:34Speaker 1: Now who's his love? Interesting?
- 6:37Speaker 3: The cold? It was shedding Thorny one of the two.
- 6:50Speaker 1: So what what what characterizes Jene?
- 6:53Speaker 2: Because the thing when I think of Gene, I always
- 6:56Speaker 2: she's she's very innocent and all that type of stuff,
- 6:58Speaker 2: afraid of her own power. But I always go to
- 7:01Speaker 2: the dark Phoenix saga. That's my favorite.
- 7:03Speaker 3: That's my favorite.
- 7:07Speaker 2: Was like, we don't know what to do with her.
- 7:11Speaker 2: She is going to destroy her.
- 7:13Speaker 3: And she got to be a knockout visually, got to
- 7:16Speaker 3: be she gotta be a knockout visually.
- 7:19Speaker 1: But she's got to give you.
- 7:20Speaker 2: Like the thing about Gene that makes her Jean Gray
- 7:23Speaker 2: makes her intriguing.
- 7:24Speaker 1: She is an Omega level mutant.
- 7:27Speaker 2: But she has such little control of her power that
- 7:32Speaker 2: the actress has to be.
- 7:35Speaker 1: Believable in a sense of like how do I describe this?
- 7:41Speaker 3: Because Jean Gray is always at odds with herself. She's
- 7:44Speaker 3: trying to keep everything contained, trying to be on the
- 7:46Speaker 3: straight arrow. She knows how powerful she is, so she
- 7:50Speaker 3: always tries to stay even keel, tries to repress everything,
- 7:54Speaker 3: whether it be lust, anger, freedom, whatever it is. That's
- 8:00Speaker 3: why when when the Phoenix came into her life, she
- 8:03Speaker 3: was drawn to the freedom part of it and just experiencing,
- 8:07Speaker 3: like you know, different emotions and as far as anger, rage, passion, lust,
- 8:13Speaker 3: all of that. Because a part of the real Gene
- 8:16Speaker 3: Gray is always trying to keep everything, Yes, neutral, so
- 8:20Speaker 3: she does just wild the fuck out out here.
- 8:22Speaker 1: Journey small let Oh, I'm not mad at that. I
- 8:25Speaker 1: like her. I like that a lot.
- 8:27Speaker 3: I'm not mad at that.
- 8:27Speaker 2: Because her at the beginning of Lovecraft, Yeah, she kind
- 8:31Speaker 2: of is that like I don't know what's going on,
- 8:36Speaker 2: changes through and then she.
- 8:37Speaker 1: Changes throughout in the Burial, which you should see. It's good.
- 8:41Speaker 1: I think you like it.
- 8:43Speaker 2: She's in full control of a situation, so you can
- 8:45Speaker 2: see acting wise, where she goes.
- 8:47Speaker 1: She has.
- 8:48Speaker 2: She's gorgeous, but she has that sort of like every
- 8:52Speaker 2: man appeal to around the way girl, but prettier than that.
- 8:55Speaker 2: But I feel like acting wise, she can encompass everything
- 8:58Speaker 2: you just said.
- 8:59Speaker 1: Patreons that for sure.
- 9:02Speaker 3: I'm not mad at that. Oh, Janelle More, they would
- 9:06Speaker 3: be great as well.
- 9:07Speaker 2: As she was so good in Glass. She was so good,
- 9:11Speaker 2: and I don't mind that as well. But I do
- 9:14Speaker 2: feel that Journey might tap into the rage. So I
- 9:20Speaker 2: haven't seen unexpected rage more.
- 9:24Speaker 1: I believe Journey could sell that more.
- 9:26Speaker 2: I think, uh, Janelle as the first twin in Glass
- 9:32Speaker 2: Onion's kind of what you were describing as Jean Gray,
- 9:35Speaker 2: like the Ti men. I don't know myself the second
- 9:37Speaker 2: twin was more or the second. But I've never seen Janelle,
- 9:40Speaker 2: but I've never seen a rage job. But there's nothing
- 9:42Speaker 2: about it that makes me think she's incapable of it.
- 9:44Speaker 3: No, no, no, not saying that I just haven't seen it. Yeah,
- 9:47Speaker 3: well I've seen. I've seen those buttons and elements with Journey.
- 9:50Speaker 2: And Journey has a long hair. Jean Gray has a
- 9:51Speaker 2: long hair, kind of like a natural eye fit. But if
- 9:54Speaker 2: you're the casting director, you got both both of both
- 9:57Speaker 2: of them are in who are you choosing?
- 10:06Speaker 3: A part of this is gonna be on the superficial level.
- 10:11Speaker 1: Today's show is sponsored by Better Help.

- 11:03Speaker 4: today to get ten percent off your first month. That's
- 11:06Speaker 4: Better Help h lp dot com slash Ball Brothers. And
- 11:10Speaker 4: now I'm back to the show, okay.
- 11:13Speaker 3: Because because because men are fighting over Jeane. Yeah, Wolverine
- 11:18Speaker 3: is like I got.
- 11:18Speaker 1: To get in, I got to get these clothes.
- 11:21Speaker 3: When I look at Janelle Monne, I'll be like this,
- 11:24Speaker 3: this is current. To get in on this.
- 11:26Speaker 2: This current version of her, even before she's but I
- 11:30Speaker 2: mean this current, this current version of her is.
- 11:36Speaker 3: Lord Gus, I'll be mad.
- 11:41Speaker 1: I see what you're saying, and I agree.
- 11:44Speaker 3: Janelle, money would just have me in the movie.
- 11:47Speaker 2: Man, you're selling tickets to, you're selling tickets to, You're
- 11:50Speaker 2: selling the whole experience.
- 11:54Speaker 3: I like Journey as rogue, though I know that I
- 11:59Speaker 3: know they saying key key up in the up in
- 12:00Speaker 3: the joint.
- 12:01Speaker 2: Well, we got black actors that we just re refurbished, refurbished.
- 12:07Speaker 2: They gonna put Kiki in a movie no matter what
- 12:09Speaker 2: it is.
- 12:10Speaker 3: But I can see I can see Journey as Rogue
- 12:15Speaker 3: because Rogue, Rogue has those emotional pockets that Shahidi is
- 12:21Speaker 3: a little bit too young, I want to go. But
- 12:24Speaker 3: Journey has those pockets of the emotional tap INDs that
- 12:27Speaker 3: we need because Rogue, Rogue has always dealt with you know,
- 12:32Speaker 3: her powers are I can never be intimate. Nobody's gonna
- 12:35Speaker 3: love me. I can never love someone fully. Always got
- 12:37Speaker 3: to keep that in bay. At the same time, she's charming,
- 12:40Speaker 3: she's funny.
- 12:42Speaker 1: You know.
- 12:42Speaker 3: I know Journey can do an accent. You already know
- 12:45Speaker 3: Keiki can do an accent for sure. But uh but
- 12:48Speaker 3: I feel like Journey. Journey has the look, the emotional depth.
- 12:54Speaker 1: Rogue has a certain swagger about it.
- 12:57Speaker 3: Yeah she has.
- 12:58Speaker 1: She's comedic, She's swagged out confidence through the room. She
- 13:04Speaker 1: can carry it.
- 13:05Speaker 3: I can see. I can see Journey with that white streak. Yeah,
- 13:09Speaker 3: some long hair, I can see it.
- 13:11Speaker 1: Yeah, I like that.
- 13:13Speaker 2: All right, Okay, so now we need storm. Storm has
- 13:16Speaker 2: to be white. Storm is gonna be white because Storm
- 13:18Speaker 2: is black in the in the traditional X. She's the
- 13:21Speaker 2: only black person in the group, so we gotta go
- 13:23Speaker 2: white for Storm.
- 13:28Speaker 3: She too too old. She would be perfect, though.
- 13:33Speaker 1: She would be perfect.
- 13:34Speaker 2: She's a tomb raider. Angelina and Joelee will be perf
- 13:37Speaker 2: early two thousands. Angelina will be.
- 13:40Speaker 3: She's just free and she just walk around naked if
- 13:42Speaker 3: you want to. It looks like she won with nature.
- 13:46Speaker 3: Scarlet is no not scarlet.
- 13:48Speaker 1: She could be a tree in the movie though.
- 13:53Speaker 2: I was thinking Margot Roby is Storm, but I don't
- 13:56Speaker 2: think she has the gravitas of it.
- 14:01Speaker 1: Jennifer Lawrence was already an X men. Sydney Sweeney is
- 14:04Speaker 1: kind of young.
- 14:07Speaker 3: She's the girl right now. She is.
- 14:10Speaker 1: It's because of euphoria and boobs.
- 14:15Speaker 3: You do get a big boob.
- 14:16Speaker 1: I never really noticed, but.
- 14:19Speaker 3: Oh the Armists, Yes, I gotta look her up. She
- 14:26Speaker 3: was in, she was in. She was just in the
- 14:28Speaker 3: latest Missigan. Was it Mission Impossible? James Bond? She was
- 14:31Speaker 3: just in the latest James Bond. Oh yeah, I like I.
- 14:36Speaker 1: Like glass on Yes, she's the.
- 14:41Speaker 3: Wait what's she a glance on you?
- 14:43Speaker 1: Let me not glass on you. She's in knocks Out.
- 14:47Speaker 3: I like her her. That's a good choice. For me, Patres, Yeah, okay,
- 14:52Speaker 3: I like that. That's a good choice.
- 14:55Speaker 1: She was in what what was.
- 14:56Speaker 3: She she was in? She was in James Bond.
- 15:00Speaker 1: The most recent one? What was that? Which one was that?
- 15:04Speaker 3: The one with the old girl from Bob Marley Too
- 15:06Speaker 3: and The Woman King? Yeah, they was both in it.
- 15:11Speaker 1: I've seen the name of that.
- 15:13Speaker 3: What was the name of the last James Bond? Y'all?
- 15:16Speaker 1: I put Jasmine board.
- 15:18Speaker 3: Anna Taylor Joy is not a bad pick either, and
- 15:21Speaker 3: I love her eyeballs. I love her eyeballs. Man, she
- 15:25Speaker 3: got some of the best eyeballs in the game. I
- 15:28Speaker 3: think she would be a good storm too. From from
- 15:31Speaker 3: a from an acting standpoint, I think Anna Taylor no
- 15:37Speaker 3: Time to Die, No Time to Die?
- 15:38Speaker 1: Yeah, who's the feeling in that? Uh oh.
- 15:45Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 15:45Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 15:47Speaker 1: I like she was. I love Yeah. She was so
- 15:50Speaker 1: good in The Woman King.
- 15:51Speaker 3: She's great. She's great every time Joy too.
- 15:56Speaker 1: Was she in a Marvel movie?
- 15:58Speaker 4: She was?
- 15:59Speaker 3: Yeah, she's a captain Marvel's homegirl.
- 16:01Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, so we're going an armist.
- 16:05Speaker 3: But now not that. Hona Taylor Joy gat me thinking, oh, you.
- 16:08Speaker 2: Know what, she's been casting a lot of stuff. She's good,
- 16:11Speaker 2: she's good she was in.
- 16:13Speaker 3: She gonna be curiosa. She's gonna be in that.
- 16:17Speaker 1: I can see her a storm.
- 16:18Speaker 3: I can see her a storm too, And I know
- 16:22Speaker 3: I know she has she got good range on her too.
- 16:29Speaker 1: She's been she's been having a lot of stuff. I
- 16:32Speaker 1: don't mind her.
- 16:34Speaker 3: Sorry, Anna, Yeah, Anna, Taylor Joy is good. I like
- 16:38Speaker 3: that one. Good choice.
- 16:39Speaker 1: So now we need just Beast and Jubilee.
- 16:43Speaker 3: We're not doing Gammon, Oh.
- 16:45Speaker 1: Gambit, my bad.
- 16:46Speaker 2: I wrote Magneto down twice, juliean gammon, and I hate
- 16:50Speaker 2: Jubilee talent, but she she's gotta be.
- 16:52Speaker 1: She's gotta be. She has the youthfulness, Jubilee.
- 17:01Speaker 3: She got the energy.
- 17:02Speaker 1: Actually, I think she'd be good.
- 17:04Speaker 3: Is fireworks Key Palmer's Key Palmer represents fireworks and her energy.
- 17:10Speaker 1: I like her powers, playing her absolutely not.
- 17:14Speaker 3: The powers are gonna be trashed either way. Storm reads
- 17:18Speaker 3: Storm reed is not bad.
- 17:20Speaker 2: See now they say Jubilee has to be young, we'll
- 17:22Speaker 2: be saying Keky Palmer is too young.
- 17:26Speaker 1: She's in that weird age because she just feels great.
- 17:28Speaker 3: Key Palmer can play young though.
- 17:30Speaker 1: How old is She's not even thirty?
- 17:31Speaker 4: Is she?
- 17:32Speaker 1: Or she's she's thirty.
- 17:33Speaker 3: She said thirties already she was a child.
- 17:38Speaker 2: A child, she's thirty thirty.
- 17:42Speaker 1: That's like a.
- 17:43Speaker 3: Kiky is you believe Keiky has got to be in here?
- 17:47Speaker 2: I like KEKs you believe. Yeah, she's like Brischa Webbs.
- 17:49Speaker 2: She can play much younger than year actually is. But
- 17:52Speaker 2: if she was forty you she has the gravitas.
- 17:54Speaker 1: To pay that too.
- 17:55Speaker 3: All right, Gambit is good, lau Keith Stanfield came to
- 17:59Speaker 3: my mind first.
- 18:01Speaker 2: That is good because in DEAs you believe will be
- 18:05Speaker 2: fine because you say Martin as Jubilee, y'all getting too.
- 18:09Speaker 3: Little man, but you believe old? Was she old enough?
- 18:14Speaker 2: She is a team. She's always like eighteen, I feel
- 18:17Speaker 2: like seventeen.
- 18:18Speaker 3: She is usually young though.
- 18:20Speaker 2: Marseille Martin is a great fit for Jubilee. She has
- 18:23Speaker 2: the youthful, youthful energy of Jubilee. She always feels like
- 18:26Speaker 2: she's at least ten years younger than the X Men, Like, girl,
- 18:29Speaker 2: what are you doing here with these?
- 18:32Speaker 3: She is?
- 18:33Speaker 2: I think Marcy Martin is a better fit than we
- 18:35Speaker 2: losing Keiki again.
- 18:37Speaker 3: Sick of this?
- 18:38Speaker 2: I'm sorry, key is gambit, how about that can pull
- 18:44Speaker 2: it off?
- 18:46Speaker 3: Sick of this?
- 18:48Speaker 1: La Keith stand.
- 18:49Speaker 3: Here's why la Keith is a great fit all right
- 18:52Speaker 3: for Gambit. Okay, all right, you know la Keith has
- 18:57Speaker 3: the has the appeal to the women, as does Gambit,
- 19:02Speaker 3: but Gambit is from the swamps. He's got a dirty,
- 19:06Speaker 3: edgy vibe for sure. Feel like he committed some crimes, yes,
- 19:10Speaker 3: and Lakeith has that when you look at him, you're like,
- 19:13Speaker 3: you know, this dude's mysterious. He's mysterious, and that's Gambit
- 19:17Speaker 3: all day. Nobody really knows his background.
- 19:19Speaker 1: Fred had the movie who was that?
- 19:22Speaker 3: Uh Judas in the Black Massage?
- 19:25Speaker 1: That's the Keys. You be like, there's something off about you.
- 19:29Speaker 3: And Gamble you don't know because at first you ain't
- 19:31Speaker 3: know if you could trust him or not, you know,
- 19:33Speaker 3: so it was like you couldn't really read him. But
- 19:36Speaker 3: he was charming, he was a good time And I
- 19:39Speaker 3: feel like Lakeith is perfect for that Gambit.
- 19:45Speaker 1: Mystique. We didn't cast could be good mystique.
- 19:48Speaker 2: Oh now y'all want to just scramb characters A gonna
- 19:51Speaker 2: do nothing, but she don't be blue?
- 19:55Speaker 1: Who was that? Rebecca Romaine was.
- 19:57Speaker 3: Yeah, Rebecca Romain, and then it was Jennifer Lawns.
- 20:00Speaker 1: Was trashed we didn't like that era Days of.
- 20:06Speaker 3: Futures past was good though, but just past is good.
- 20:12Speaker 1: I know, I know, but it's.
- 20:13Speaker 3: Nowhere near the book. Yeah, I hate to be that guy.
- 20:17Speaker 2: Better, their classes got bigger, not game is not dusty
- 20:24Speaker 2: like that, but he has a little bit of a
- 20:27Speaker 2: checkered past.
- 20:29Speaker 1: Kind of how, oh my god, we didn't do yet.
- 20:31Speaker 3: Because you even even even you know how people while
- 20:35Speaker 3: y'all shooting down the Keith, give me a good reason.
- 20:37Speaker 3: I like the Keiths people saying no, give me a good.
- 20:40Speaker 1: I like Trevor Jackson.
- 20:41Speaker 3: Nah, who is Trevor Jackson.
- 20:43Speaker 1: Trevor Jackson is the dude who did that thing when
- 20:45Speaker 1: he was singing.
- 20:46Speaker 2: He's in grownish Winston to Winston Duke is too big, y'all.
- 20:54Speaker 3: Winston Dukes be.
- 20:57Speaker 1: I like that. Oh that's cool that I like Winston Duke.
- 21:05Speaker 2: As I had a heart, I couldn't think of anybody
- 21:07Speaker 2: from Beasts Reggae.
- 21:08Speaker 3: Jon Page is not bad again, but either is.
- 21:12Speaker 1: It pronounced reggae? I think for sure. With st Reggie,
- 21:15Speaker 1: I don't French version of Regie.
- 21:18Speaker 3: I'm sure Reggie.
- 21:20Speaker 1: I thought it was French straight up Reggie Ray J Rever.
- 21:25Speaker 3: Jackson is gambit nah who.
- 21:27Speaker 1: They said reg what's what's Reggie's name? Reggae?
- 21:31Speaker 3: Reggae? Jean as who as as gam bambit? Is that
- 21:34Speaker 3: what y'all saying? Winston Duke's beast is perfect.
- 21:38Speaker 1: No, that's it. He's he's done. He's a little smooth. Though.
- 21:45Speaker 3: Here's the thing about mistake. Mistiak has to be older.
- 21:51Speaker 3: Is allegedly the mother of rogue and night crawlers, so
- 21:54Speaker 3: she has to be older.
- 21:55Speaker 2: So you can Rebecca Roman was a grown woman. Yeah,
- 21:58Speaker 2: you can't do was grown. You can't do stay most.
- 22:02Speaker 3: I mean, you can't do us as mystique. No, no, no, no,
- 22:06Speaker 3: I still I still want to go la Keith for gain.
- 22:08Speaker 1: I like Lakeith.
- 22:09Speaker 2: I get because he don't look mysterious.
- 22:13Speaker 1: He don't. He's clean, La Keith.
- 22:15Speaker 3: Everything about Lea Keith is mysterious and we need that
- 22:19Speaker 3: all that his nails be dirty. He just you know
- 22:22Speaker 3: what I'm saying. Everything, he don't be a good time
- 22:26Speaker 3: charming all that.
- 22:28Speaker 2: All right, Wolverene, this is a tough one. This is
- 22:31Speaker 2: a tough literally, was like, I just be talk Kevin Hart.
- 22:35Speaker 3: Kevin Hart because he got the hype, he got the
- 22:42Speaker 3: got to be little.
- 22:43Speaker 2: Hugh Jackman is like sixty three. Yeah, they were just
- 22:47Speaker 2: and that was an important part of he. We used
- 22:49Speaker 2: to run up into a ball.
- 22:50Speaker 3: Overen has always been short, man. We gotta keep this going.
- 22:54Speaker 3: Kevin Hard he got the big I feel. I can't
- 23:07Speaker 3: picture him angry. I can't picture him angry.
- 23:10Speaker 1: Travonte Rhoads, Travante Road. You know you loved him in
- 23:16Speaker 1: Me and Coppa, Oh.
- 23:17Speaker 3: My god, Me and Copa was so garbage. I hated it.
- 23:23Speaker 1: That Rose is a good pat.
- 23:27Speaker 3: It's not a bad pick.
- 23:29Speaker 1: He couldn't he can look, you know, Wolverene don't know
- 23:31Speaker 1: his history. He got the whole backstory. Small.
- 23:34Speaker 2: They played a bigger man Coppa than he really is
- 23:36Speaker 2: because in Moonlight he was.
- 23:39Speaker 5: He was not big, but you he was a little
- 23:41Speaker 5: muscular movie no, I mean like tallpic Oh yeah yeah he.
- 23:46Speaker 4: Not.
- 23:46Speaker 1: Yeah he probably five.
- 23:49Speaker 3: What's the Duke's saber tooth. I'm not mad at that either.
- 23:52Speaker 3: You know he's six ft. Oh he might be too tall.
- 23:56Speaker 3: I like a saber tooth.
- 23:58Speaker 2: Leave Schreiber. I don't care, man, I don't care if
- 24:01Speaker 2: he's white man.
- 24:03Speaker 3: I'm like all this Hodge just saber that's great. That
- 24:09Speaker 3: is because he's gonna give you the mutton shops. He
- 24:12Speaker 3: gonna give you the mutton chops on the side.
- 24:14Speaker 1: I love out as Hodge. She never did nothing wrong.
- 24:22Speaker 3: I'm not mad at Jeffrey right as Charles's exhibit. He's good.
- 24:25Speaker 3: But we got to cast as Wolverine.
- 24:27Speaker 1: John David Washington, he's little kind of Is he gritty
- 24:34Speaker 1: enough for Wolverine?
- 24:34Speaker 3: That's what That's what I don't know. I know he
- 24:36Speaker 3: I know he can pull off the physicality. The way
- 24:38Speaker 3: he fought intens looked depressive, but the anger and rage
- 24:43Speaker 3: and just five Okay, Derek Luke, John Boyeger, I know
- 24:50Speaker 3: he got those pockets.
- 24:52Speaker 1: Of my hardwick. So you're doing you do? You never
- 25:00Speaker 1: saw that.
- 25:01Speaker 3: I never saw it. Ain't nobody bending me, nobody bending
- 25:05Speaker 3: me over? Oh oh so you doing dependent? Is that
- 25:08Speaker 3: what it is like?
- 25:09Speaker 2: Yo?
- 25:09Speaker 3: That laugh is so funny. Here's the thing about Wolverine.
- 25:13Speaker 3: He can be old.
- 25:15Speaker 1: He can be old.
- 25:16Speaker 3: He could be old because Wolverine is old. He okay,
- 25:19Speaker 3: John Moyaeger is five nine, Johnny. I thought Johnny I
- 25:23Speaker 3: wrote down Jonathan Majors as Wolverine. I didn't know how
- 25:26Speaker 3: you always gonna.
- 25:27Speaker 1: Feel he probably not booking him. He's not. He's man.
- 25:30Speaker 3: I ain't canceling him on that.
- 25:32Speaker 2: I'm not saying cancel. I'm just saying he's man. I
- 25:36Speaker 2: feel like he hot right now.
- 25:37Speaker 3: That's who gives Wolverine the edge.
- 25:39Speaker 1: He gotta go. What was Robert Downey Junior movie when
- 25:41Speaker 1: he came back before Iron Man?
- 25:44Speaker 3: He did?
- 25:45Speaker 2: Uh, he didn't do it. Jathan got his independent. You
- 25:49Speaker 2: gotta get a student field.

- 25:55Speaker 3: Man too tall.
- 25:56Speaker 2: Wesley snaps is, it's kind of hard to see him
- 25:58Speaker 2: as anything other than Blake though.

- 26:02Speaker 2: Wesley Snipes to me, he is Blade. He is overridden
- 26:07Speaker 2: everything else. Damn Colulia. I don't like for a word.

- 26:15Speaker 2: Jimmy and Jonathan Majrix is like six foot six one two.
- 26:19Speaker 2: Michael Joy White is he's kind of a big dude.
- 26:23Speaker 2: He's like, yeah, and he's big. I mean, Wolverine's big
- 26:28Speaker 2: this way tall. You need the black version of Tom
- 26:32Speaker 2: Hardy Kevin Hart. Yeah, we're gonna have to cast Kevin
- 26:37Speaker 2: hard Jimmie Fox is a little ageless. He doesn't. He
- 26:41Speaker 2: doesn't get me old.
- 26:43Speaker 3: No, they don't. Wolverine doesn't have to be. He doesn't
- 26:47Speaker 3: have to look old and feel old. But he needs
- 26:50Speaker 3: to be. He gotta be a smart mouth that we
- 26:52Speaker 3: need to know he's been here because he's gonna look
- 26:56Speaker 3: young because of his healing factor. But the rock is
- 27:02Speaker 3: way too massive to be Wolverine.
- 27:04Speaker 1: He could be saving.
- 27:05Speaker 2: He could be saving tooth or beasts, just to hear them,
- 27:09Speaker 2: to hear to here's nowhere near athletic.
- 27:13Speaker 3: Getting.
- 27:19Speaker 5: We might have to go boyeg man. I think so,
- 27:23Speaker 5: because I know he can. He could give us though,
- 27:25Speaker 5: he can give us those pockets. He was so good
- 27:28Speaker 5: in Book of Clarence. All right, man, we don't he.
- 27:32Speaker 1: I mean, uh.
- 27:34Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, here we go Black X Men, Magneto, Denzel,

- 37:05Speaker 3: Tony Dunkirk was mid, and Somni was mid. Tenny was mid.
- 37:11Speaker 3: He those are his only mids though. What's not terrible.
- 37:17Speaker 1: Because yeah, no, no, Oppenheimer was cool.
- 37:19Speaker 3: Oppenheimer was mid too.
- 37:21Speaker 1: It was cool. I didn't.
- 37:23Speaker 2: I just always felt like, I know the bomb is
- 37:28Speaker 2: the thing, but I always felt like something else was
- 37:29Speaker 2: supposed to happen. The whilse thing about Oppenheimer is that
- 37:32Speaker 2: nigga science man had os. Yeah, and his actual wife
- 37:36Speaker 2: and his mistress. That was even with the atomic bomb.
- 37:39Speaker 1: Dude.
- 37:39Speaker 2: The craziest thing was his actual relationship. But I kind
- 37:42Speaker 2: of I don't like the time thing, the way the.
- 37:44Speaker 3: Way I didn't get my nut off in that movie.
- 37:47Speaker 3: Not to be not to be vulgar, but I feel
- 37:49Speaker 3: like I didn't get my nut off.
- 37:53Speaker 2: You were pumping, and he was like, yeah, I feel
- 37:56Speaker 2: like Forrest Gump after his running. I'm kind of tired now.
- 38:00Speaker 2: It was just all felt good.
- 38:02Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 38:03Speaker 3: Wow, it was just like I gotta, I gotta go,
- 38:06Speaker 3: I gotta I guess Marion is to run. I gotta
- 38:09Speaker 3: turn his paperwork in for six I'm gonna just I'm
- 38:12Speaker 3: gonna just pull out.
- 38:15Speaker 1: I mean, just you good, you got you, you need anything.
- 38:19Speaker 3: I saw the explosion, I saw the tomic ex.
- 38:23Speaker 2: I appreciate you next time. It don't always work out.
- 38:26Speaker 2: They don't always work out. Sometimes I got a lot
- 38:28Speaker 2: of my mind.
- 38:29Speaker 3: Sometimes it's not.
- 38:30Speaker 2: It's not the best part of that movie was the explosion, sound,
- 38:34Speaker 2: the sound design and the delay.
- 38:38Speaker 1: But the court cases and stuff.
- 38:40Speaker 2: And I love Emily Blunt, I love Murphy, but I
- 38:44Speaker 2: just cast was great.
- 38:46Speaker 1: Cast was Robert Downey Jr. Was almost unrecognizable.
- 38:49Speaker 3: He was firing that joint.
- 38:53Speaker 1: He was fantastic.
- 38:54Speaker 3: Great casting.
- 38:55Speaker 1: It was great casting. But but that's what I like
- 38:58Speaker 1: about Christopher Nolan.
- 39:00Speaker 2: If I don't like this movie, I feel like he
- 39:01Speaker 2: liked this movie to me.
- 39:05Speaker 3: To me, he's such an important filmmaker for I'm glad
- 39:09Speaker 3: he's in the game and successful in the game because
- 39:12Speaker 3: he really wants to stick.
- 39:14Speaker 1: To practically practical.
- 39:15Speaker 2: He's dropping the plane out the sky for real. Yes,
- 39:18Speaker 2: he's getting the permoum maker.
- 39:21Speaker 1: Little to know cgi. He has his own way of
- 39:25Speaker 1: telling stories.
- 39:26Speaker 2: Yeah, And I'm okay with an artist making something I
- 39:28Speaker 2: don't like, as long as you are making what is
- 39:31Speaker 2: important to you. I'd much rather an artist make an
- 39:34Speaker 2: album that they love that I don't enjoy, then them
- 39:37Speaker 2: make something they think I'll enjoy that ain't really them.
- 39:40Speaker 2: So that's why I will go I'm gonna pull up
- 39:42Speaker 2: every time, because you don't know if you're getting dun Kirker,
- 39:44Speaker 2: Interstellar or Memento or Oppenheimer. But you know, Christopher Nolan
- 39:49Speaker 2: them put four or five years of his life into
- 39:51Speaker 2: this movie, and it's everything he has. He spent ten
- 39:54Speaker 2: years on the amazing best trilogy in the world.
- 39:56Speaker 3: And that's the problem I had with Insomnia is that
- 39:59Speaker 3: it just the don't feel like a Christopher Nolan piece. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 40:03Speaker 3: like everything and everything else in his filmography, as far
- 40:06Speaker 3: as like Memento, the Prestige and like if it feels
- 40:11Speaker 3: like love stage and sounding in the name of what movie.
- 40:16Speaker 1: Love, Yeah, Memento as well.
- 40:19Speaker 2: I watched that on VHS in college and I could
- 40:21Speaker 2: not stop talking about it.
- 40:23Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 40:23Speaker 2: I watched that and that Guy Pierce movie with Brad
- 40:26Speaker 2: Pitt in it all the time.
- 40:28Speaker 3: Awakening. No, No, I didn't do that. I didn't do
- 40:32Speaker 3: Snatch Awakening. I did in Sounding, But that's a shorter route. Oh,
- 40:41Speaker 3: the movie Yeah, that's a shorter route. So if I do,
- 40:45Speaker 3: if I do. Uh. Sam Jackson to Good Fellas with
- 40:50Speaker 3: Robert de Niro. Robert de Niro was in Awakenings with
- 40:53Speaker 3: Robert Williams. That movie I can cut out a movie.
- 40:57Speaker 1: It was.
- 40:57Speaker 3: It was sad, it was good, it was sad.
- 41:00Speaker 2: All Right, y'all, we'll see you next week if you're
- 41:01Speaker 2: not on the Patreon Patreon where we're just gonna keep
- 41:03Speaker 2: this train roll.

- 41:05Speaker 1: You're good.
