- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with her radio Welcome to the Almost same As podcast
- 0:09Speaker 1: Wango Tango. Addition, we got a lot of Bachelor faives
- 0:14Speaker 1: in attendance at this Wango Tango. We got Claire, Carly, Kendall, Blake,
- 0:19Speaker 1: h Blake, m Hannah, Dylan, Michelle, Nate, Heather and Becca.
- 0:24Speaker 1: Yeah they're all here. It's Bachelor infested here at Wango
- 0:27Speaker 1: Tango where Yeah, I know right, we had fast you know,
- 0:33Speaker 1: and thanks to Hyundai for making this happen, This Whango
- 0:36Speaker 1: Tango Extraordinaire podcast. Hyundai is all about talking about evolving
- 0:42Speaker 1: your journey. You know, Ben and I have talked numerous
- 0:45Speaker 1: times in this podcast over the palast like I don't
- 0:47Speaker 1: know six months about how we've evolved our journeys since
- 0:50Speaker 1: being on the show. I mean obviously and then my
- 0:53Speaker 1: husband we got married, well actually we were friends for
- 0:56Speaker 1: a long long time. We got married, we had a baby, like,
- 0:58Speaker 1: we moved away. Lots of evolving h same with Ben.
- 1:01Speaker 1: You know, look at like where his life has come
- 1:05Speaker 1: because of the show. And now I am joined with
- 1:08Speaker 1: somebody else who has been has had quite the journey
- 1:12Speaker 1: and Bachelor Nation quite the journey almost a decade long.
- 1:15Speaker 1: Almost right, it's Claire Crawley. That's insane. It's good. Right,
- 1:20Speaker 1: So today, guys, today's our anniversary. The anniversary Claire I
- 1:24Speaker 1: actually met a whole seven years tomorrow because he came
- 1:28Speaker 1: in like a day late into Paradise. But today we
- 1:31Speaker 1: felt like a lifetime by the way, which oh my gosh,
- 1:33Speaker 1: I can't believe. It was twenty four hours on and
- 1:39Speaker 1: everybody's like coupled up, everybody's taken, we're wasting your time.
- 1:42Speaker 1: And I was like, say less, guys, okay, I'm out.
- 1:46Speaker 1: At least let me bungee jump. Okay. It's like everyone's
- 1:49Speaker 1: taking except for Jared, who he's taken in Ashley's mind,
- 1:52Speaker 1: but you can definitely get the wrap. But if I
- 1:57Speaker 1: got a good bungee jump out of it, I'm good
- 1:58Speaker 1: and some friends. So that seven years ago today, and um,
- 2:02Speaker 1: Claire was on you know, the whole season before that.
- 2:05Speaker 1: So eight years, eight years in this franchise. Talk about
- 2:08Speaker 1: how your journey has evolved, Like it hasn't been for
- 2:10Speaker 1: the positive because you know, we've seen a lot of
- 2:14Speaker 1: what people may say are like I don't want to
- 2:16Speaker 1: even say they're not failures, but their relationships that have
- 2:20Speaker 1: not gone the distance for you, how do you how
- 2:23Speaker 1: do you classify your your journeys? I would first of
- 2:27Speaker 1: all say that to be in my world considered a
- 2:31Speaker 1: failure would be to not try and be left with
- 2:35Speaker 1: what ifs. People on the exact though that I can't
- 2:38Speaker 1: stand living a life with what ifs in them. I
- 2:41Speaker 1: am exactly the same way, So I to be honest,
- 2:44Speaker 1: even the ones that have not worked out, the relationships,
- 2:47Speaker 1: the chances that the goes on the shows, everything that
- 2:51Speaker 1: has quote unquote not worked out, has really been in
- 2:56Speaker 1: my best benefit for my higher self, if that makes sense.
- 2:59Speaker 1: And I look at everything like it divinely is meant
- 3:03Speaker 1: to be that way. So whether it's for a day,
- 3:06Speaker 1: whether it's for us just um one season of an whatever,
- 3:11Speaker 1: an episode or whatever, or an entire relationship, even if
- 3:15Speaker 1: it didn't work out to me, I got something from it.
- 3:18Speaker 1: I learned something from it. And even my and I
- 3:20Speaker 1: can say this, my worst relationships, I have got stuff
- 3:24Speaker 1: from them to serve me for my great or good
- 3:28Speaker 1: and it has made me in relationships the person I
- 3:30Speaker 1: am today. There's a lot of things that I work on,
- 3:32Speaker 1: but it also shows me and reflects to me what
- 3:35Speaker 1: I do need to work on and where I lack
- 3:37Speaker 1: for myself and and how I can come back better
- 3:40Speaker 1: for the next person. And it's only setting me up,
- 3:43Speaker 1: I believe for success. What do you feel like you
- 3:46Speaker 1: learned the most of the most from from your last relationship?
- 3:51Speaker 1: Be ending with you? What have I learned the most?
- 3:55Speaker 1: Um and like what I'll tell you exactly what I
- 3:58Speaker 1: learned to go for I learned truly that. I mean,
- 4:05Speaker 1: there's a lot of things I learned, but the biggest
- 4:09Speaker 1: thing would be that I'm trying to figure out how
- 4:12Speaker 1: to say this in the right words, but it's it
- 4:18Speaker 1: was for my greater good. I I somehow I was
- 4:22Speaker 1: in such a low spot after the pandemic, right before
- 4:25Speaker 1: the show started filming that you know how it was
- 4:27Speaker 1: with like isolation and being alone. I was alone for
- 4:30Speaker 1: four months, literally alone alone. Yeah, and I was like
- 4:34Speaker 1: in a house by yourself because you were going to
- 4:38Speaker 1: visit your mom or you weren't able to. I wasn't
- 4:41Speaker 1: able to glass. It was really really hard, to be honest,
- 4:45Speaker 1: and it was hard for everybody, but for me, it
- 4:47Speaker 1: just was this intense sense of like loneliness and so
- 4:52Speaker 1: when I met Dale, when I went on the show,
- 4:54Speaker 1: when when I met all the guys, it was this
- 4:57Speaker 1: need for connection and I found that. I found that
- 5:01Speaker 1: and so the biggest thing I learned though it was
- 5:04Speaker 1: it was always like I need a partner. I don't
- 5:06Speaker 1: want to be alone. But throughout that, in the depths
- 5:09Speaker 1: and the hardest parts of that relationship, everything that I
- 5:12Speaker 1: went through, I went through a lot of it alone
- 5:15Speaker 1: and not I mean I have friends, I have my
- 5:18Speaker 1: family and stuff. But it was certainly it was the
- 5:21Speaker 1: self work that got me to where I'm at today,
- 5:24Speaker 1: and that was like the biggest lesson for me is
- 5:25Speaker 1: that I can depend on myself. I can take care
- 5:29Speaker 1: of myself in the best way possible. What was your
- 5:32Speaker 1: biggest heartbreak? Was it? Dale? I don't think that that's
- 5:36Speaker 1: a heartbreak trying and going for what you want and
- 5:39Speaker 1: going after what Like I'm not a woman who sits back.
- 5:42Speaker 1: I think that's an obvious thing. Like I go for
- 5:45Speaker 1: what I want, and I think that's an asset in anything.
- 5:48Speaker 1: If I go for that and work, I go for
- 5:50Speaker 1: that in life, I go for that. If it's fighting
- 5:53Speaker 1: for something I believe in, I go for it. And
- 5:55Speaker 1: if it's somebody I I'm you know, forty yours, you know,
- 5:58Speaker 1: forty years old, so it's like I'm actually forty one.
- 6:01Speaker 1: So forty is easier to say though. But if it's
- 6:04Speaker 1: something that I want, to go for it and at
- 6:05Speaker 1: that time, that's what I wanted and I went for
- 6:07Speaker 1: it and I got that. So that's not a failure
- 6:10Speaker 1: to me. Oh, absolutely not. I love that answer. I
- 6:13Speaker 1: love that answer. So, Um, Matt, Matt James is also
- 6:18Speaker 1: somebody that you weren't exactly. Um, you weren't a relationship
- 6:22Speaker 1: with him, that's for sure. So he was supposed to
- 6:25Speaker 1: be you know, he was supposed to be on your season.
- 6:27Speaker 1: He was castid to be on your season. Um, but
- 6:31Speaker 1: before your season even started filming, they actually just went
- 6:34Speaker 1: and announced him to being the Bachelor. I guess they
- 6:37Speaker 1: you know, they knew him through Tyler. They really wanted
- 6:39Speaker 1: him to be the Bachelor. But you guys have had
- 6:42Speaker 1: a lot of drama. But I feel like you've never
- 6:44Speaker 1: met in real life. I've never met him, so how
- 6:48Speaker 1: and how and why is there so much drama? Can
- 6:50Speaker 1: give a little backstory on this cameo situation because it
- 6:54Speaker 1: all started when he was on cameo before filming your
- 6:58Speaker 1: season and before he was announced the Bachelor. Yeah, I I,
- 7:02Speaker 1: to be honest, if held back a lot with what
- 7:05Speaker 1: information I do have and what has been presented with me.
- 7:08Speaker 1: And I will say this is that having the opportunity
- 7:13Speaker 1: if it was a bonus or good or bad thing,
- 7:15Speaker 1: but I had the opportunity of those four months before
- 7:18Speaker 1: going on this season to see who these guys were
- 7:21Speaker 1: and see who was coming on the season. And it
- 7:22Speaker 1: was unique, like that's never happened before. But I got
- 7:27Speaker 1: that opportunity. And what also came with that is DM
- 7:32Speaker 1: every single day of this I'm this person's girlfriend or
- 7:36Speaker 1: I know this about that guy. And there was a
- 7:38Speaker 1: lot of stuff that I just you just blow aside
- 7:40Speaker 1: and you're just kind of like, I get it whatever.
- 7:42Speaker 1: But there was nobody that I had more messages from
- 7:47Speaker 1: than him about him. Um, I actually got yeah, I
- 7:52Speaker 1: actually got videos of him talking about me in a
- 7:56Speaker 1: negative way and directly from him, but from other people.
- 8:00Speaker 1: Nothing directly from him, But I got a lot, I
- 8:02Speaker 1: mean well over thirty different from the same story from
- 8:06Speaker 1: different women and different people that were parting with him
- 8:09Speaker 1: and going out with him. So that initially rubbed me
- 8:12Speaker 1: the wrong way. And the stuff he was saying that
- 8:14Speaker 1: I'm not going to repeat um was it was hurtful
- 8:20Speaker 1: and it wasn't okay. And I thought, I don't want
- 8:24Speaker 1: him to take up a spot of somebody that really
- 8:27Speaker 1: I would want to be there for me. And if
- 8:30Speaker 1: they knew, the show knew and he knew that he
- 8:32Speaker 1: just wanted to be the next Bachelor, fine, all good.
- 8:34Speaker 1: I would never have a problem with that. Go get it,
- 8:36Speaker 1: you know. But it's how he was talking about me
- 8:39Speaker 1: and things he was saying about me that I was
- 8:40Speaker 1: not okay with a man coming on the season taking
- 8:42Speaker 1: up a spot who was doing that? Do that on
- 8:45Speaker 1: somebody else's time. And his whole defense of being on
- 8:48Speaker 1: cameo was that he was a former football player and
- 8:50Speaker 1: he was doing it for charity. He was also part of,
- 8:52Speaker 1: you know, the quarantine crew with Tyler. Do you believe
- 8:56Speaker 1: that it was all going to charity or that was
- 8:59Speaker 1: that was his intention on cameo. I don't know or
- 9:03Speaker 1: care either way. You I mean, I don't care either way.
- 9:08Speaker 1: I feel like if that's the situation, that's the situation,
- 9:12Speaker 1: then you should probably on your cameo say that that's
- 9:15Speaker 1: going to charity and not have your title as the
- 9:19Speaker 1: bachelor and and use his title was the bachelor. Yeah,
- 9:23Speaker 1: I mean when I saw it when he was sent
- 9:26Speaker 1: to me, so it it just rubbed me the wrong way.
- 9:30Speaker 1: Like I said, So, whether he's a good I'm sure
- 9:33Speaker 1: he's a great human being, I'm sure he's a great guy,
- 9:35Speaker 1: a great boyfriend. I have no idea, but it just
- 9:39Speaker 1: was not something I wanted on my season. There was
- 9:41Speaker 1: no beef. I just didn't want. I had a choice
- 9:43Speaker 1: of who my options are today, you know, and that
- 9:46Speaker 1: would not be one of them. Well, especially somebody who
- 9:50Speaker 1: calls me their mom. So we'll leave that right there. Okay, okay,
- 9:56Speaker 1: we'll leave that there. And would you guys ever be
- 9:58Speaker 1: open to speaking together on a public platform since you
- 10:01Speaker 1: guys kind of do end up talking about each other
- 10:04Speaker 1: separately on different podcasts and TV shows. Honestly, at this point,
- 10:09Speaker 1: it's been I feel like over two years. Like I said,
- 10:12Speaker 1: there's no drama on my part of it, but I
- 10:16Speaker 1: think my name keeps getting attached to it and he
- 10:19Speaker 1: I don't know, if he like wrote a book and
- 10:21Speaker 1: talked about me and all that kind of I don't know.
- 10:23Speaker 1: I don't know that's that's what gets you views and
- 10:26Speaker 1: looks and reads. Then by all means use my name,
- 10:28Speaker 1: but I don't. I mean, it's just to me, it's
- 10:31Speaker 1: so far dead that I could. I'm just indifferent to it.
- 10:34Speaker 1: Claire's not unsure whether or not she would sit down
- 10:37Speaker 1: on a podcast with Matt, but maybe one day it'll happen.
- 10:40Speaker 1: Who knows. Why do we have to though I don't
- 10:42Speaker 1: know the guy I'm not. Nobody says we have to
- 10:45Speaker 1: be friends, and it's that's okay. You know, it's not
- 10:47Speaker 1: a negative thing or a bad thing, and I would
- 10:49Speaker 1: be um, i'd really be getting the fans mad. If
- 10:54Speaker 1: I didn't ask you about your dating life, you can
- 10:58Speaker 1: was the last time you kissed a guy? That's I'll say,
- 11:00Speaker 1: because that was a question I wanted to say last
- 11:03Speaker 1: night when we had our girls night, and I didn't
- 11:05Speaker 1: get around to asking you specifically. Okay, my question is
- 11:08Speaker 1: why do you want to know that? Well, because that'll
- 11:10Speaker 1: kind of allude to like when the last time you
- 11:13Speaker 1: kind of had a crush on a guy or like
- 11:16Speaker 1: a date. That's true without you actually having to give
- 11:19Speaker 1: a name. I don't think a kiss equates oh so
- 11:24Speaker 1: more scandalous probably if you don't ask me because I'm
- 11:29Speaker 1: trying to kid. But my my dating life is not lacking. Okay, good,
- 11:35Speaker 1: you're good. So it's been recent that like you're getting
- 11:39Speaker 1: some action. Okay, great, all right, sounds good. She's she's
- 11:42Speaker 1: not making like some sexy claar faces. All right, Claire,
- 11:46Speaker 1: thank you for joining us again today on this special
- 11:48Speaker 1: Hundai episode. We really really appreciate it. Thank you for
- 11:51Speaker 1: having me. Next up, I am joined by Hannah and Dylan,
- 11:55Speaker 1: one of our one of my fellow Bachelor in Paradise
- 11:58Speaker 1: couples that are still together after three years. The years guys, yeah,
- 12:04Speaker 1: rengrats an amazing you know, I said, I keep saying it.
- 12:07Speaker 1: People aren't like, Okay, actually we've got It's been seven
- 12:09Speaker 1: years today since I met Jared on the Saturday on
- 12:12Speaker 1: the sands of Bachelor Paradise. Congrats, that's that's a big deal.
- 12:15Speaker 1: It's a big deal. Yeah. When we start the sixth,
- 12:18Speaker 1: the six on my dad's first day. Yeah, so you
- 12:21Speaker 1: guys three years ago. Yeah, well, I mean, oh, you
- 12:25Speaker 1: guys met beforehand. Oh that's known information. We were not
- 12:31Speaker 1: briefly before, but that was it. We got like a
- 12:33Speaker 1: group dinner with not now very local spot called there
- 12:42Speaker 1: are some like bachelor people and stuff like that. It
- 12:45Speaker 1: was Craig. It was a joke. Well, okay, now if
- 12:47Speaker 1: we talked about l A landmarks, you guys just moved
- 12:50Speaker 1: after you bought a house. I feel like within the
- 12:52Speaker 1: past two years in the San Diego area. It had
- 12:55Speaker 1: a great patio. Everybody was talking about how much I
- 12:58Speaker 1: love the patio on Instagram and then all of a sudden,
- 13:00Speaker 1: guys were like, we moved, Where did you move and why?
- 13:03Speaker 1: So we moved honestly, like four minutes away from our house.
- 13:07Speaker 1: Now it's like four or five minutes. Yeah, it's a
- 13:09Speaker 1: really close drive. Um. It was just timing, like with
- 13:13Speaker 1: the market, honestly, like we weren't looking, um, but we
- 13:16Speaker 1: kind of saw it and we're like, oh wow, this
- 13:18Speaker 1: is cool. And at the same time, our realtor was like, hey,
- 13:20Speaker 1: by the way, somebody's like kind of interested in look
- 13:22Speaker 1: buying in this neighborhood. This is the neighborhood, and they
- 13:24Speaker 1: wanted one story, which is what we had. And it
- 13:28Speaker 1: was just honestly like the perfect I don't even want
- 13:32Speaker 1: to say storm. It kind of worked out perfectly. We
- 13:35Speaker 1: we missed our backyard. We loved it, but like our
- 13:36Speaker 1: new house. Were just like so happy about it, Like
- 13:38Speaker 1: it was just like a really really cool timing thing. Honestly,
- 13:41Speaker 1: we have a movie theater in the new house. So
- 13:43Speaker 1: it flooded. Update as of last week. We don't know
- 13:48Speaker 1: really we're figuring that all this week. But it got flooded,
- 13:51Speaker 1: so we moved all of the movie seats and stuff
- 13:53Speaker 1: and the floor was like really what Yeah, pretty depressing,
- 13:56Speaker 1: but hopefully it was fixed this week. Okay, great. Dylan's
- 13:59Speaker 1: on that. I was like, Dylan, and you do that
- 14:00Speaker 1: kind of stuff, and I'll handle like decorating. Yeah, I'm decorating. Yeah, exactly, decorating,
- 14:08Speaker 1: doing logistics and stuff like let him decorate at all,
- 14:11Speaker 1: because I really don't like Dara touching. But no, we
- 14:14Speaker 1: have interior designers that he was working with, and the
- 14:17Speaker 1: ideal I deal with it. And at first Dylan was
- 14:21Speaker 1: involved a little bit and like on the meetings and
- 14:23Speaker 1: stuff like that, and then he was like and I
- 14:25Speaker 1: really don't want to do this, like I want you
- 14:27Speaker 1: to do this, I don't feel comfortable doing it. And
- 14:29Speaker 1: I was like, alright, perfect, let's go. So I've been
- 14:33Speaker 1: taking it over. I try to make a conscious effort
- 14:35Speaker 1: to not be involved. Well, just live in a nice place.
- 14:38Speaker 1: That's all that matters. It's hard to I told him,
- 14:41Speaker 1: I don't really care. What if it was paining, could
- 14:43Speaker 1: be fun. Well, now it comes to, you know, setting
- 14:47Speaker 1: up something else beautiful that would be your wedding. You
- 14:50Speaker 1: guys went to Italy recently to pick out a wedding spot.
- 14:55Speaker 1: You went to like Cuomo, did you go to Venice?
- 14:58Speaker 1: We're in Venice from Floridance, Monico Can santra Pez. Oh,
- 15:02Speaker 1: you guys went the whole country tour. We went for it.
- 15:06Speaker 1: So what are we deciding on? And when? I mean,
- 15:09Speaker 1: it's so beautiful and it's definitely an option to do
- 15:11Speaker 1: like Lake Como, But um, I feel like we need
- 15:15Speaker 1: to look at spots in California to validate everything, just
- 15:20Speaker 1: because it's hard to get people to like go over
- 15:23Speaker 1: season stuff, which is totally understandable. Um, it's not a no,
- 15:28Speaker 1: but we're like we should at least see some spots
- 15:31Speaker 1: here and at least validate for like, okay, like we
- 15:33Speaker 1: could totally make it work here or like maybe like
- 15:37Speaker 1: Honeymoon out there pen Field Mediterranean and yes, totally totally.
- 15:41Speaker 1: We did the honeymoon in Italy in peace and it
- 15:43Speaker 1: was both of them. So we've we've been wanting to
- 15:47Speaker 1: go to Greece. Yeah, I'm trying to get hand in
- 15:49Speaker 1: a Planet surprise grease trip for me for my birthday
- 15:52Speaker 1: in two weeks. And your Greek? I am Greek. Have
- 15:54Speaker 1: you ever been there? Yes? Okay, but I was younger,
- 15:57Speaker 1: so I don't really count it. Okay, all right, Well, um,
- 16:00Speaker 1: wedding planning, like, do we have a date, do we
- 16:02Speaker 1: have like a time period? You have a have a date?
- 16:04Speaker 1: Heart exclusive? No? No, we don't have a date, like no,
- 16:07Speaker 1: I'm saving that for Instagram. Very bad business. I mean
- 16:11Speaker 1: it's it's literally just um going to depend on if
- 16:16Speaker 1: we find a location. Like the location thing I think
- 16:19Speaker 1: is literally literally going to assuming months from when we
- 16:22Speaker 1: find the location. That's great timeline. So yeah, exactly what
- 16:26Speaker 1: we did. Yeah, I feel like something like that because
- 16:29Speaker 1: Newport Rood Islands. Yeah, yeah, would you ever do it?
- 16:36Speaker 1: And you guys are mischiean? What's your where are you
- 16:39Speaker 1: from from? Wisconsin? Orange County? I know, but where do
- 16:42Speaker 1: you guys have that lakehouse? Wisconsin? Yeah? I know, we
- 16:44Speaker 1: wouldn't do it there I wouldn't be. I don't know
- 16:49Speaker 1: if we would do it there, but I feel like
- 16:50Speaker 1: it could be a vibe. No, it does rain a
- 16:54Speaker 1: bit too. The rain thing would be a little riskue
- 16:57Speaker 1: yea yeah, yeah. Wedding venue TVD theme, it's been decided
- 17:02Speaker 1: it's carnival themed. Along with that, we'll see it's fun dress.
- 17:08Speaker 1: I don't know. I have no clue. Did you have
- 17:11Speaker 1: like a moment where you were like, this is the
- 17:13Speaker 1: dress we like? Actually, I don't know if my dress
- 17:17Speaker 1: was Um, I just I did and I was like,
- 17:20Speaker 1: it's too much, it was too expensive, and then I
- 17:23Speaker 1: said yes to another dress which ended up being my
- 17:26Speaker 1: rehearsal I mean my my reception dress, because I went
- 17:30Speaker 1: back and I got the dress that I thought was
- 17:32Speaker 1: too expensive. Yeah, so yes, yes, I don't know if
- 17:40Speaker 1: I I don't know if I'll have that wow moment.
- 17:42Speaker 1: I don't really know. It's my body too, so like
- 17:44Speaker 1: we made it a sweetheart when it wasn't actually a sweetheart.
- 17:46Speaker 1: So you made it what you wanted sleeves and we
- 17:48Speaker 1: took off the sleeves like, yeah, you made it, you
- 17:51Speaker 1: made it how you wanted. I can't tell if I'll
- 17:53Speaker 1: be one of those people. I don't know. I'm ever
- 17:55Speaker 1: it's the best time, it's the most fun. I'm gonna
- 17:57Speaker 1: go for it. We'll see, I don't know. I hope
- 18:00Speaker 1: we see it all on Instagram. Obviously, not the dress,
- 18:03Speaker 1: but like all the dress drying on you, absolutely because
- 18:05Speaker 1: you are a sherry Hill model and I mean I
- 18:08Speaker 1: love sherry Hill dresses. It'll all be on Boucher in Paradise,
- 18:13Speaker 1: filmed live. Everyone can come. Are they having you guys?
- 18:16Speaker 1: Come back and make a little cameo? No little cameo
- 18:18Speaker 1: if your students. No, they are not. Unfortunately, I don't know.
- 18:21Speaker 1: I actually didn't tell you that. I'll tell you. I'll
- 18:24Speaker 1: tell you now, but maybe you know. What's funny is
- 18:28Speaker 1: that we're doing a trip to I say, I sound
- 18:33Speaker 1: like such a paradive orta pray to for Riorda and um,
- 18:40Speaker 1: we're actually doing it like June sixte and that's probably
- 18:43Speaker 1: when they're filming. But it's funny. We didn't plan it.
- 18:44Speaker 1: It's just for his birthday, so it's just funny time.
- 18:46Speaker 1: And they'll be like, oh flights, yeah, come down, we'll
- 18:50Speaker 1: see a little bit. We'll see, we'll see Dylan has
- 18:53Speaker 1: something definitely not going, definitely not coming. We're gonna have
- 18:57Speaker 1: ourround vacation. Okay. He wants his birth to be like chill,
- 19:01Speaker 1: which is understandable, very very good, John Free, drama free,
- 19:04Speaker 1: be day. You guys are gonna have kids with great
- 19:07Speaker 1: hair potentially, and I have I think gray hair, great hair.
- 19:14Speaker 1: And I also just want to say that it's really
- 19:16Speaker 1: cool that, like I can confidently say that we're going
- 19:17Speaker 1: to have like another Bachelor Paradise married couple easily. That's happening.
- 19:24Speaker 1: It's happening, alright, Thank you, thank you. Next up, we
- 19:40Speaker 1: have Heather Martin. Heather Martin, as you guys may remember,
- 19:43Speaker 1: was on Colton season and then made a brief appearance
- 19:47Speaker 1: on Matt James season. Heather, Hey, So, okay, so you're
- 19:53Speaker 1: on our podcast yesterday. So we caught up a little bit.
- 19:55Speaker 1: Then you guys check out Art Girls Night episode. So
- 19:58Speaker 1: much fun. We talk otherhood dating, um, all kisses, and
- 20:05Speaker 1: Heather's like, please don't ask me about because it again
- 20:07Speaker 1: and don't worry. I am not going to do that. Um,
- 20:10Speaker 1: But what I am going to ask you is how
- 20:12Speaker 1: is your bestie Hannah Brown? Because I feel like you
- 20:16Speaker 1: are probably the closest Bachelor Men Nation member to Hannah. Yeah,
- 20:21Speaker 1: Hannah has been really good. Hannah's like in a relationship,
- 20:24Speaker 1: like serious relationship, probably leading towards marriage. Is that I'm thinking,
- 20:30Speaker 1: and she's thinking. I think, Yeah, I know, Hannah isn't
- 20:33Speaker 1: really I think she's like very settled. She's in Santa Monica.
- 20:37Speaker 1: She's just happy. She's really really happy, which makes me happy.
- 20:41Speaker 1: That's good. What do you guys usually do when you
- 20:42Speaker 1: have your girls? Nice? So, Hannah, both of us are
- 20:46Speaker 1: just like we could sit on the couch were probably
- 20:49Speaker 1: That's what I always imagine Hannah Brown hangouts to be
- 20:52Speaker 1: like totally my kind of girl. Hang out. We could
- 20:54Speaker 1: like all day we like wake up, watch a movie,
- 20:58Speaker 1: eat yeah, he talk yeah, we like talk another movie yeah,
- 21:04Speaker 1: and then eat again and then hang out, talk movie
- 21:10Speaker 1: and then eat again. I never Yeah, You're just like
- 21:13Speaker 1: so happy, you know, just like hang out. It's great.
- 21:17Speaker 1: What's your day to day life? Like? Are you still
- 21:19Speaker 1: in San Diego? I'm in San Diego, North County, San Diego,
- 21:22Speaker 1: San Diego. Yeah. We're just like chilling. Nothing crazy. It's
- 21:26Speaker 1: like I feel like I never have anything like crazy
- 21:28Speaker 1: need to report. But except for when I asked you
- 21:30Speaker 1: about boys. You want to tell me about boys. I
- 21:33Speaker 1: know about like your celebrity stalking. I have a lot
- 21:40Speaker 1: of celebrity stalking, but not boys. Dating is hard. I like,
- 21:47Speaker 1: I wish I never had a date ever again. I
- 21:50Speaker 1: hate it. Well, okay, so when was your last date? Um,
- 21:54Speaker 1: she's like, so long ago. I don't want to talk
- 21:55Speaker 1: about this year. Okay, yeah, I just not that good. No,
- 22:04Speaker 1: I did it someone for a bit of time. It's
- 22:08Speaker 1: just very a lot. There's just a lot. Why, so
- 22:13Speaker 1: many reasons? Wait? Why so? I actually asked me so
- 22:19Speaker 1: many questions my job, Um, you have great teeth, thank you? Questions.
- 22:33Speaker 1: There's just like so many details. So I'm like, I
- 22:35Speaker 1: just want to be like a normal Like was he famous? No,
- 22:40Speaker 1: just like a lot. But I talked to Jared about
- 22:44Speaker 1: this and I was like, I can't tell you Jared
- 22:46Speaker 1: after the podcast on his podcast, and I was like,
- 22:50Speaker 1: because this guy like really doesn't like being talked about publicly.
- 22:52Speaker 1: It's just like the situation like doesn't like I can't
- 22:55Speaker 1: like it. I can't talk about it. Like it's like
- 22:58Speaker 1: there's like I feel like she's like's like there's like
- 23:03Speaker 1: three hours of conversation. I don't know. It's complicated. It's complicated.
- 23:07Speaker 1: He's like a vampire, so I talking about it. Yeah,
- 23:10Speaker 1: he's in the a he's killed some people. I can't
- 23:14Speaker 1: talk about it. I'm not dating anyone right now, but yeah,
- 23:20Speaker 1: it's hard. It's because, like you know, it's a Bachelor
- 23:22Speaker 1: podcast or Bachelor Nation members and it's just like everybody
- 23:26Speaker 1: wants to know about relationships. And she's like show, like,
- 23:29Speaker 1: actually tell me how to date. I don't know, like
- 23:31Speaker 1: I know either, because like you do know. I mean
- 23:35Speaker 1: you're married and a child, but like thing is jar
- 23:38Speaker 1: and I really like are dating was like being friends
- 23:41Speaker 1: and then all of a sudden, once we became people
- 23:43Speaker 1: who were dating, we were like married. I feel like
- 23:48Speaker 1: actually honestly, like you're like you're like thinking that that's
- 23:50Speaker 1: the way you'd like you're my inspiration. I'm not kidding,
- 23:53Speaker 1: Like I've told me sisters, and like actually like the
- 23:56Speaker 1: anomaly where it's like you just like you like you
- 23:59Speaker 1: like some one and it's just like it's like not normala,
- 24:02Speaker 1: definitely not normal. That it was way it was way
- 24:06Speaker 1: too hard, but also like way too easy, and we
- 24:10Speaker 1: ended up dating. It was so easy, and then I
- 24:14Speaker 1: didn't even have to like try to get him down
- 24:16Speaker 1: on one day. It was just like we've been together
- 24:18Speaker 1: three months and now you you're proposed it just worked out,
- 24:21Speaker 1: but like you're the normally to the rule, Like it's
- 24:23Speaker 1: like he's just not that into you. I am one
- 24:29Speaker 1: thousand persin actually, So I don't want any girls out
- 24:32Speaker 1: there being like like that's what's going to happen to me,
- 24:35Speaker 1: Like no, I am the chick flick, Like I don't
- 24:37Speaker 1: know how it happens. I got the Chicken's inspiring. I
- 24:40Speaker 1: think it makes me feel like Okay, it's like I
- 24:43Speaker 1: want people to believe in chicken flicks and all that,
- 24:45Speaker 1: but I also want to have a sense of realism.
- 24:48Speaker 1: But like you is that it's not realistic, I know.
- 24:51Speaker 1: But like you, you didn't want today, so like it
- 24:53Speaker 1: happened the way you want to do, even manifesting at
- 24:55Speaker 1: the third time, it's like all a whole bunch of
- 24:57Speaker 1: contradictory advice here, But I think at the I think
- 25:01Speaker 1: really like thinking positive thoughts, thinking everything eventually is going
- 25:05Speaker 1: to work out and fall into place the way you
- 25:06Speaker 1: wanted to is really the key to making things happens.
- 25:11Speaker 1: Like a little you know, you gotta of course have
- 25:13Speaker 1: Like ever, I'm not talking about I'm talking about relationships here.
- 25:16Speaker 1: I'm not so much talking about like your career, because
- 25:19Speaker 1: of course with your career totally have to aspire before
- 25:23Speaker 1: imagine dream big, but also be really your relationship. Well yeah,
- 25:30Speaker 1: it's both. That's just who you are. You're very sweetiates
- 25:34Speaker 1: it's really really nice. Okay, well, Hoather, thank you for
- 25:38Speaker 1: all your sweetness. You're always just that is what you are,
- 25:41Speaker 1: your sweetness. I hope that we see you again. You know,
- 25:44Speaker 1: why aren't you first stand in Paradise? You should? You
- 25:49Speaker 1: think it's for you where you asked no, but it's
- 25:51Speaker 1: just not for me, Like it's just not a thing
- 25:53Speaker 1: that I will do. Okay, yeah, all right, it's not.
- 25:57Speaker 1: I don't think it's for me either, but and it
- 25:59Speaker 1: obviously but I didn't work out there, but it worked
- 26:02Speaker 1: out later, you think, Thank you, thank you. We're back
- 26:10Speaker 1: and we are joined by Kendall Long and her new
- 26:13Speaker 1: boyfriend Mitch, which we were all just like so very
- 26:15Speaker 1: thrilled that she has like this new love in her life.
- 26:18Speaker 1: And you are so cute together, and you're so tall.
- 26:21Speaker 1: He is a tall man. Yeah, you're perfect height now
- 26:29Speaker 1: you're six four what or something like that. You guys
- 26:31Speaker 1: are so cute. Yesterday on the podcast, on our Girls
- 26:34Speaker 1: Night podcast, we talked all about how kendall Um felt
- 26:39Speaker 1: when she first saw you, and like she was really
- 26:43Speaker 1: turned on by your nerdy This your first impression of Kendall.
- 26:47Speaker 1: Oh yeah, this is interesting and curious, gorgeous obviously, Um
- 26:56Speaker 1: yeah that I mean, of course beauty, and you know,
- 27:01Speaker 1: we it was it was a relatively laid back environment
- 27:04Speaker 1: so we could actually talk, which you know, when you're
- 27:07Speaker 1: going out on a Saturday night, that's not you know,
- 27:09Speaker 1: always what you get when you're in a club and
- 27:10Speaker 1: it's crazy loud, you can't really interact like that. While
- 27:13Speaker 1: we were in a place where we could talk, and
- 27:15Speaker 1: we were going through her book actually and like asking
- 27:18Speaker 1: each other questions perfect exactly. So it's just a perfect
- 27:21Speaker 1: mingling experience. And I could tell pretty much immediately like
- 27:24Speaker 1: you know, she's smart and you know, lots of lots
- 27:28Speaker 1: of great thoughts behind her. It's beautiful, she's not just pretty.
- 27:37Speaker 1: We just connected on like a lot of similar topics,
- 27:39Speaker 1: which is really cool. I think I don't even know
- 27:41Speaker 1: what we were talking about that whole night, but a
- 27:43Speaker 1: lot of it was. I think like I just noticed
- 27:46Speaker 1: immediately that you were somebody that challenged me in um,
- 27:50Speaker 1: just like things that you researched, the things that you
- 27:52Speaker 1: were curious about, like your curiosity. Was a man that
- 27:54Speaker 1: really stood out to me. So I liked that about you. Okay,
- 27:57Speaker 1: So how did you ask her out on your first date?
- 28:02Speaker 1: Let's see, I probably we hung out that night. We're dancing,
- 28:06Speaker 1: a lot, lots of fun, lots of dancing. We actually changed, Oh,
- 28:10Speaker 1: we switched outfits on the dance floor, you'd like exchanged.
- 28:14Speaker 1: I had an ugly sweater on, had an ugly sweater on.
- 28:16Speaker 1: It was near Christmas. This ugly sweater was to reindeer
- 28:20Speaker 1: humping or something. I don't know. I saw his sweater.
- 28:25Speaker 1: I didn't really process what was on it. I was like, like,
- 28:27Speaker 1: your grandma made it, and he's like, my grandma made it,
- 28:29Speaker 1: and I was like, it's too reindeer humping. Um. And
- 28:32Speaker 1: then I was wearing this white card again. And so
- 28:34Speaker 1: on the dance floor we switched outfits. Yeah, and I
- 28:39Speaker 1: was cold, so it worked out perfectly. Um. And then
- 28:41Speaker 1: we exchanged numbers yeah. Yeah, and I'm a dork. So
- 28:45Speaker 1: I just immediately like, all right, when we're hanging out next,
- 28:47Speaker 1: what are we doing? Where are we going? He didn't
- 28:49Speaker 1: play any games to wait the next day. You texted
- 28:53Speaker 1: her that night probably as soon as I get the
- 28:58Speaker 1: phone number, it's like, here's my name, text me. He
- 29:04Speaker 1: was actually very forward. We were on the dance floor
- 29:06Speaker 1: and he's just like, what would you say? You're like something?
- 29:10Speaker 1: And I was like, you're like, because I'm interested in you.
- 29:13Speaker 1: And I was like, I like how forward he is?
- 29:16Speaker 1: So that was nice, creepy like for you know, it's
- 29:20Speaker 1: really horrible to say, but if you're attracted to the
- 29:23Speaker 1: person you like the forwardness that it's difficult. That's true.
- 29:30Speaker 1: I was glad he was forward because I was very
- 29:33Speaker 1: intrigued after our Europa conversation about the moon off of
- 29:36Speaker 1: Jupiter that had aliens on it. So, so, what's the
- 29:40Speaker 1: nerdiest date you guys have been on? Because I know
- 29:42Speaker 1: that there's like an appreciation for nerd life here. Well,
- 29:46Speaker 1: I feel like the every time we hang out, I
- 29:49Speaker 1: mean we've barely watched any TV together. We barely like
- 29:51Speaker 1: when we are together, we're just talking about anything and
- 29:55Speaker 1: everything that comes into our mind. Recently, we went on
- 29:57Speaker 1: a road trip to NAPA and Mitch like podcast lined
- 30:01Speaker 1: up for us to listen to and to discuss on
- 30:03Speaker 1: our way to not but he's like, okay, so I
- 30:05Speaker 1: had this podcast forgot what it was. It was a
- 30:08Speaker 1: six hour drive. The podcast was only an hour and
- 30:11Speaker 1: a half and we didn't finish it. We didn't finish
- 30:12Speaker 1: the podcast, so we like like pose it and we're like,
- 30:15Speaker 1: let's discuss this, and so it's just so fun each
- 30:19Speaker 1: other's brain candy, Yeah, basically as well as I candy. Oh,
- 30:23Speaker 1: he's my arm candy for arm candy candy involved, so happy.
- 30:30Speaker 1: So do you know anything about Kendall's um like history
- 30:34Speaker 1: on the Bachelor franchise? Just from what I've heard obviously
- 30:37Speaker 1: since we've been dating, But I didn't really follow did
- 30:41Speaker 1: much of things the crap out of her when you
- 30:44Speaker 1: found out? I know, I I stayed away from that
- 30:46Speaker 1: because I don't know if it's old fashioned or just weird,
- 30:50Speaker 1: but I just wanted to like get to know her
- 30:52Speaker 1: for how she was and how she how we actually
- 30:54Speaker 1: interacted because you never really know what's out there, right,
- 30:57Speaker 1: So um, yeah, no, I stayed away from the from
- 31:00Speaker 1: the Google's okay, So I know we have to get wrapped.
- 31:04Speaker 1: But I do need to ask you, because I asked
- 31:06Speaker 1: Candle this question yesterday. What kind of future steps do
- 31:11Speaker 1: you guys see each other taking all of the big ones?
- 31:19Speaker 1: What a way to wrap up this podcast. I am
- 31:21Speaker 1: thrilled for you guys. Thank you so much for coming on. Honestly,
- 31:25Speaker 1: you know, an outsider to this bachelor world. It's it's
- 31:28Speaker 1: a fun one. I've I've been enjoying it, honestly great.
- 31:31Speaker 1: Thank you. We've really enjoyed your hard launch. Oh hard launched.
- 31:35Speaker 1: I didn't even know that was the thing before, Like
- 31:37Speaker 1: you hard launched. I was like, yes, thank you. Thank
- 31:45Speaker 1: you so much to hund for making this amazing episode happen,
- 31:48Speaker 1: and to all of you almost same as listeners out there.
- 31:51Speaker 1: We love you so so much. Hyundai, thanks for setting
- 31:55Speaker 1: me up with that cool ride on my way to
- 31:56Speaker 1: way and go Tango. I'm about to go hopping it
- 31:58Speaker 1: right now and cruise back to the hotel. See yeah bye.
