- 0:00Today, we have a special guest. Bill Holter is one of the most
- 0:04respected names in the precious metals sector.
- 0:07We're going to talk about the current situation in the world,
- 0:10the monetary, fiscal, geopolitical situation.
- 0:14But importantly, we're going to narrow it down then into what it
- 0:17means for silver and gold, what it means for you as someone who
- 0:22likely stacks silver and gold as a way to protect yourself.
- 0:26Hey, Bill, welcome to Ron's basement.
- 0:30Thanks for helping me, Ron. Yeah.
- 0:32So, so Bill, you know, I handled Lynette Zhang on my show, I
- 0:36don't know, two or three months ago.
- 0:38And I was, when I was talking to her, I said everything feels
- 0:40crazy. And she said, well, things tend
- 0:43to feel crazy right before they break.
- 0:46When you look out at what's going on in the world
- 0:49geopolitically, economically, monetarily, do you feel like
- 0:53we're closer now to the system breaking than other times that
- 0:58you've observed in the past? Oh, yeah, without a doubt.
- 1:03I mean, no matter where you look, whether it be financially,
- 1:07politically, socially, the things that are going on today,
- 1:12even five years ago would have been insanity before 2020.
- 1:16Go back, go back 15 years ago. It's it's bigger insanity.
- 1:23Go back 25 years ago to 1999, two thousand and where we are
- 1:29now, it would be signed today would be science fiction 25
- 1:38years ago. You know, you that you bring up
- 1:42a great point. I hadn't really.
- 1:43Yeah, I guess I've thought about that.
- 1:45But it's true, right? If ten years ago, and I've said
- 1:47this to my audience before that like if I had, if you, if you'd
- 1:51been down here in the basement or Bill, if you'd been here in
- 1:54the basement 10 years ago and, and told me that there'd be a, a
- 1:58war in Europe with the Ukraine, that if you told me what the
- 2:02national debt levels would be at if you told us about the little
- 2:06health crisis that we had back in March of 20, it would have
- 2:10been science fiction, right? Yeah.
- 2:15And on top of that, don't forget the censorship it's going on,
- 2:23trying to shut down any voice of reason or any voice of truth
- 2:29with all the bullshit that is passed off as normal.
- 2:33I mean, this is truly, you know, you heard the story about the
- 2:37frog boiling in the pot. This is truly the frog boiling
- 2:40in the pot. Because there's still a lot of
- 2:42people out there who believe what's going on now is, is
- 2:46normal. And I mean, you can still ask a
- 2:50lot of people. And I do this quite often when
- 2:54I'm talking to someone who really doesn't get it.
- 2:59I ask, do you think the US government or U.S.
- 3:02Treasury is bankrupt? And 95% of the people are going
- 3:07to say, or even more, 95% of the people are going to say, Oh,
- 3:11yeah, they're bankrupt. But it doesn't matter.
- 3:15And you're right, it doesn't matter until it matters.
- 3:18But when it matters, life as we know it is going to be, you
- 3:25know, completely different from where we are now, which is, like
- 3:28I said, many consider where we are now normal.
- 3:34Yeah, it, it feels like, you know, I, I live in suburbia of
- 3:37Saint Louis, right? Kind of a middle, upper middle
- 3:40class area. And most of my neighbors, almost
- 3:45all of my neighbors are just kind of oblivious.
- 3:49It's almost like they, they just believe whatever they hear on
- 3:52the news and they, they, they, it, it does feel like, like you
- 3:57said, like like frogs being boiled in water and have no
- 4:00concern whatsoever for, you know, the national debt or I
- 4:06mean, do you think there's going to be this like big event that
- 4:10will force people to wake up? Oh, absolutely.
- 4:15And it could be any of a dozen or more things that blow up.
- 4:21But yeah, people are going to all of a sudden, boom,
- 4:24understand, when whatever the event is that happens happens
- 4:29within 72 hours, life as we know it will no longer exist.
- 4:35So yeah, it's going to, it's gonna hit somebody over the
- 4:37head. It'll hit people over the head
- 4:39like a 2 by 4. Yeah.
- 4:43Well, you know, I was born in 1970 and throughout my entire
- 4:46life, those paper U.S. dollars, I was, you know, we were or we I
- 4:52was taught and from an early age to believe that they were
- 4:56valuable. Do you think the fact that that
- 5:02the whole system is just credit based on paper, that that that
- 5:10it's like a House of Cards and that when it does start to when
- 5:14something changes, maybe it's a geopolitical event and you're
- 5:17kind of alluded to to that could be on any number of things.
- 5:20Maybe it's a, a financial crisis type event, but but that like
- 5:25people just don't realize that this whole system is totally
- 5:29based on credit and, and, and trust and confidence and that
- 5:35once that changes, that everything could, you know,
- 5:38hypothetically change very, very quickly.
- 5:43Yeah, that's absolutely right. And I was one of the 1st and
- 5:47I've been writing since 2007. I left the country late 2006
- 5:53knowing that O seven O 8 is coming.
- 5:56And I was one of the very first to talk about everything runs on
- 6:02credit. Everything you do every day, all
- 6:05day long. There is a, a credit facility
- 6:10attached to it. Whether you're opening your
- 6:12water faucet, turning the lights on, getting in your car and
- 6:16driving, doesn't matter what you do.
- 6:21There's credit involved. And, and I've used this analogy
- 6:25probably 100 times. There's probably a dozen uses of
- 6:28credit for that one single loaf of bread in the store.
- 6:34They don't have little elves in the backroom that bake bread.
- 6:38I mean, you've got the farmers, they've got to borrow for fuel,
- 6:43borrow for seed, borrow for for fertilizer, then then it's got
- 6:49to be trucked to a silo. The silo uses credit, the
- 6:53truckers use credit, then it gets trucked to a production
- 6:56facility that uses credit, then it gets trucked again to the
- 7:00grocery store, and lo and behold, there's a lot of people
- 7:04that that use their credit card and at this point are wanting
- 7:09balances up just to eat. So yes, everything runs on
- 7:13credit. And once credit ceases, it will
- 7:18not only mess up and destroy the financial world, but it's going
- 7:23to destroy the real economy because nothing will function
- 7:27without credit. And remember credit, and I mean,
- 7:31you could go back to the, the, the, I guess the, the Greek
- 7:37meaning of credit, it's basically confidence without
- 7:42confidence, credit will not be forthcoming.
- 7:47So when confidence breaks, everything breaks.
- 7:50And that's what we're and how what we are and what we have
- 7:53been running on for years and years is pure confidence.
- 7:58If you're looking to buy gold, silver or platinum, do yourself
- 8:02a favor and check out Pembex, the online precious metals
- 8:06bullion dealer and sponsor of Ron's Basement.
- 8:10I was a happy customer before they offered to support the
- 8:13channel. You'll find they have the best
- 8:15prices, quality and service. I think Pembex is best, and you
- 8:20will too. And be sure to tell him that
- 8:23you're from Ron's basement. So I want to ask you a question,
- 8:25Bill, 'cause as you're saying that, I'm thinking as I zoom out
- 8:30and look at the entire world now, and instead of maybe
- 8:33individuals transacting for loaves of bread, I'm looking at
- 8:37countries interacting with each other.
- 8:40It feels like like that's actually happening on the
- 8:43worldwide stage right now, but that countries are kind of
- 8:46beginning to reject to a certain degree the credit of the United
- 8:52States, right? We have China selling
- 8:53treasuries. We have, you know, that that on
- 8:55a worldwide basis, we're seeing countries move away from that
- 9:01level of trust with each other. Is that is that?
- 9:04Does that make sense? It's not so much trust with each
- 9:09other, it's trust in the United States.
- 9:11Because the dollar is what has settled more trade than any
- 9:16other currency on the planet. Because it's the world's reserve
- 9:19currency. And I mean, if you look at if
- 9:23you want to, you're calling it the lack of, of trust.
- 9:27Half the world or more than half the world at this point no
- 9:31longer trust the dollar. If there was not, if there was
- 9:36complete trust in the United States, there would be no BRICS
- 9:42union. The BRICS would not be in the
- 9:45process of creating their own currency which is is said to
- 9:51going to be 40% gold backed the and I think the the BRICS
- 9:57nations are backing or whatever they final number isn't the like
- 10:01I said the number thrown around now is 40%.
- 10:05That is to, to keep and continue trust of the new currency.
- 10:11And I mean, the dollar has not been backed by gold since 1971,
- 10:17and it really wasn't backed by gold since 1933 because that's
- 10:24when it was interchangeable with dollars.
- 10:29So, so I heard it said once I'm going to get your take on this
- 10:32statement. So I found it very interesting
- 10:34that the BRICS countries don't trust the US dollar.
- 10:40Obviously we have the de dollarization trend that's going
- 10:42on right now. It's.
- 10:43Not the dollar. It's the United States itself.
- 10:47Gotcha. It's not that it's the United
- 10:49States itself. I mean, look what we're doing or
- 10:52what we're we're talking about doing with Russia's 300 billion.
- 10:56The rule of law in the United States is gone.
- 10:59And I mean, nations, nations could see China could see Russia
- 11:06could see, the world could see going all the way back to 2001
- 11:10with the World Trade Center fiasco, which I mean, there's
- 11:15engineers in China, there's engineers in Russia, there's
- 11:18engineers all over the world that know that two planes did
- 11:22not take those buildings down. So that put up, put their
- 11:27antenna up that the US was, was hoisting a farce on the world.
- 11:32And what did we do with that farce?
- 11:34We went into into Iraq and and that had been planned, you know,
- 11:41before the year 2000 to go into the Middle East and what's in
- 11:47the Middle East oil. I mean, the world understands
- 11:51that the pristine rule of law that we had here in the United
- 11:56States that attracted capital for so, so many years is now
- 12:00gone. Yeah.
- 12:04Do you, do you think the, the, the current situation in Europe
- 12:08with Ukraine that there's, there's more to the story than
- 12:13than than is possibly being reported to us on the, on the
- 12:16mainstream news? Oh yeah, of course.
- 12:20Mainstream has never reported on Putin's.
- 12:25I think he's done now 7 or 8 speeches, you know, full length
- 12:29speeches if you read and I, I've urged people to read all of the
- 12:34speeches, but if you only read one, just read the first speech
- 12:37after, you know, after they they began the operation or right
- 12:42before they began the operation. The man is not a crazy man.
- 12:46He sounds logical to me and it sounds like he just wants free
- 12:50and fair trade and he does not want his borders, you know,
- 12:58crashed on by NATO countries. Ukraine is, is a far I mean, go
- 13:03back to 2014. There was a coup and installed
- 13:09basically AUS friendly president Ukraine.
- 13:19I mean if you look at the money that's been sent there, Ukraine
- 13:22is a money laundering operation and it was just AI think three
- 13:26or four days ago Lindsey Graham said the quiet part outs out
- 13:30loud. I mean, he came right out and
- 13:33said, and I forget what it was about.
- 13:35I think it was lithium, 10 trillion or 12 trillion in
- 13:38lithium deposits. I mean, they are are they have
- 13:42vast natural resources and that's, you know, that's what
- 13:48the powers that be are looking at are natural resources and
- 13:53cheap natural resources. So I mean, yeah, Ukraine, the
- 14:01mainstream media lies to us about everything.
- 14:03Why would they tell us the truth about Ukraine?
- 14:07Yeah, it's, it's an interesting developments and I agree with
- 14:14you. You know, I think you have to
- 14:15really, if you want to know the truth, really dig in and and
- 14:20look at both sides of the story. And, and when you do that,
- 14:24there's a completely different perspective.
- 14:26At least that was my experience that I gained when looking not
- 14:29only at what's going on in, in, in Europe with the Ukraine, but
- 14:34the all these previous military, you know, expeditions that it
- 14:39seems like our country's gone on for the last 20 years one after
- 14:43another. And you know it, it does it, it
- 14:48leads a person to feel like really what's going on in the
- 14:51world is a little crazy right now.
- 14:55If we if we, if we take the conversation back to silver and
- 14:58gold, you're a person. I mean, you sell silver and
- 15:02gold. You're a broker, I believe for
- 15:03for miles Franklin. Do you think do you think that
- 15:07silver and gold are are are a good Ave. for individuals for
- 15:12the person who's joining us right now, listening to our
- 15:14conversation to protect themselves, to protect their
- 15:17families against what could be coming down the road.
- 15:22Right. Well, yeah, yeah.
- 15:23I mean, obviously gold and silver, the first reason you
- 15:27want to own them is because they are money.
- 15:29The only monies it cannot bankrupt.
- 15:32Every other currency on the planet is issued by a central
- 15:38bank and backed by the full faith and credit of that central
- 15:42bank. And I mean, if you look at
- 15:45central banks today, pretty much all of them have negative
- 15:49equity. Bank of Japan, the European
- 15:52Central Bank, the US, the Federal Reserve.
- 15:56The Federal Reserve had 65 billion in equity starting 2023
- 16:02and I think their bond portfolio was down or they had losses of
- 16:07155 billion by the end of the year.
- 16:10So technically they were insolvent.
- 16:12The reason you want to own gold and silvers because A, because
- 16:16they can't bankrupt and B, if you hold the metals, it's out of
- 16:20the system. And I don't know, you know, how
- 16:23much you or your audience has looked at the writing, the great
- 16:29taking, but that's absolutely not speculation.
- 16:33Those laws are on the books. They're not going to put laws on
- 16:36the books if they don't intend to use them.
- 16:39And using them basically will mean bailing in all customers
- 16:45monies, whether it's a bank, whether it's a broker, whether
- 16:48it's an insurance company. When you give them money, you're
- 16:51a creditor. You know, you're you're a lender
- 16:53to them. You're not a depositor.
- 16:56It's not yours. Yeah, it's a, it's a interesting
- 17:03world in which we live in now where it seems like everything
- 17:06is based on like we talked about earlier, credit or, or or or not
- 17:11real ownership or assets. And that silver and gold are,
- 17:16are would appear to be like one of the last real avenues that I
- 17:20can see to to actually hold something.
- 17:24Right as I look over. I have a piece of silver there
- 17:27like that's here, that's mine. As long as I'm able to maintain
- 17:31my security of it, I own it. I'm not relying on anybody else.
- 17:36It's it the OR or a promise from anybody else to provide the
- 17:40value that is kind of stored in that ounce of silver?
- 17:44Is that is that an accurate way to look at to look at it?
- 17:48Yeah, that's right. And I mean that when you say
- 17:50that a store of value, I mean it takes real capital, labour and
- 17:57equipment to create an ounce of gold or to create an ounce of
- 18:01silver. All an ounce of gold is or all
- 18:04an ounce of silver is is proof of that labor.
- 18:08Capital equipment has already been used.
- 18:11It can't be diluted. They can't they can't print gold
- 18:14and silver, although they do it on the COMEX.
- 18:17They print contracts and they've used those contracts to suppress
- 18:21and push the pricing down. But once this thing breaks and
- 18:26credit breaks, the pressure on gold and silver is going to be
- 18:30the to the upside because the leverage in the gold and silver
- 18:34market, unlike every other, and I shouldn't say every other
- 18:37market, but every other non commodity market, all of that
- 18:42leverage is, is to the long side.
- 18:45It's on the buy side, whereas all the leverage in gold and
- 18:48silver is on the short side. And when this thing breaks, if,
- 18:53if markets hold together, which I, I really cannot see that
- 18:59happening, I think all markets are going to close.
- 19:01But where the market, the gold and silver markets to remain
- 19:05open, there would be massive buying because I mean, you're
- 19:09looking at 300 ounces of silver sold short on paper for every
- 19:13one ounce of silver that exists in in reality.
- 19:17Wow, is that is that the real? I hear different numbers, but as
- 19:22far as you're able to to to figure that, that the I mean,
- 19:26it's just astounding to think like that.
- 19:29There's For each one ounce of silver, literally 2 or 300
- 19:33ounces are sold short. Right, Yeah.
- 19:38I mean, you just all you've got to do is look at the the comic
- 19:41soap and interest divided by inventory.
- 19:45You can, you can look at LBMA in London, same thing.
- 19:50And then you've got derivatives on top of the derivatives.
- 19:53So you know, 203 hundred, maybe it may really be two or three
- 19:58thousand, who knows. But the the leverage is to the
- 20:02short side, not the long side. Wow, wow.
- 20:07So, and that, that was another question I had for you is, you
- 20:10know, when I think back to, let's say, when the, when the
- 20:13COVID-19 crisis first hit or even just a little over a year
- 20:17ago when we had the, the banking crisis of March and April of
- 20:222023. And I remember and you, you're a
- 20:25person who's in the industry, but it became very difficult to
- 20:28find silver. It seemed like it was it was
- 20:32gone quickly. Is that a a precursor for what
- 20:38we could experience? But could it even be worse?
- 20:41I mean, it seems like with technology now and information
- 20:46spreading so much more quickly in people being able to buy
- 20:50silver and gold online, that it, it feels like, and I don't not
- 20:54trying to scare anybody into running out and buying any
- 20:56silver or gold as they're watching this.
- 20:58But it seems like that if, if we do hit like this event where
- 21:03things do materially change, that it's going to be like all
- 21:08the silver and gold are going to be gone like quickly.
- 21:13Yeah, it'll be once, once something breaks the inventory.
- 21:17I mean, that was a definitely a precursor.
- 21:19I mean, silver became extremely difficult to find and at one
- 21:24point, I think we were taking orders on inbound silver that
- 21:29wouldn't arrive for four to six weeks.
- 21:31So it was super tight and I mean silver's already in a deficit,
- 21:37yet the solar industry is, is growing exponentially.
- 21:44And I mean just look at how much silver is in each panel.
- 21:48So I mean you've got, you've got demand potential, you know, not
- 21:53just from industry, medicinal, technology, etcetera.
- 22:00You will have a huge demand from the retail side, which is what
- 22:04happened in 2020-2021. And on top of that you, you do
- 22:11have governments that are buying silver.
- 22:15India I think for the month of May bought more silver in that
- 22:22one month than they had ever bought in any three month period
- 22:25of time ever before. So I mean, this is, this is a
- 22:29supply and demand equation and supplies not meeting command.
- 22:37And what will, what will ultimately snap is that there's
- 22:40going to be a failure to deliver.
- 22:43And man being the thinking animal that he is, when you tell
- 22:52a man that he can't have something, he wants it even
- 22:55more. Right, right.
- 22:58And it is it is it your experience that with silver in
- 23:01particular, people generally don't like to buy it when it's
- 23:06quote, UN quote on sale right when the price is going down,
- 23:09but that that silver buyers tend to jump on as the price goes up?
- 23:17Yeah, that's always the case. I mean, humans are momentum
- 23:22buyers. Yeah, yeah.
- 23:25And when I and when I think about silver and gold, go go
- 23:27ahead. One other thing on that humans
- 23:32are momentum buyers, but fear is a greater emotion than greed.
- 23:38So I mean, you could have, you can have momentum buyers, you
- 23:44know, buying from the greed aspect, but once there's a
- 23:50reason to pile into gold and silver because things are
- 23:53broken, then you'll see a Stampede that's never been seen
- 23:57before. That that's when the missing
- 24:00link, which is just, you know, the last, I guess, year or two
- 24:05the, the Western retail investor, I know the ETF have
- 24:10had the ETF have had outflows that but that when that missing
- 24:15link shows up. But I think it's important to,
- 24:20to, to, to, to realize as silver and gold investors that both the
- 24:25silver and the gold price have done very well over the last,
- 24:29you know, I guess, you know, three months, six months.
- 24:32I mean, we're, we have a pretty good silver price, I think most
- 24:35people and a really good gold price right now.
- 24:38And that they've done that in the face of higher interest
- 24:42rates, which were, you know, in a higher quote UN quote, dollar,
- 24:45if you want to call the DXYA measure of the dollar's value
- 24:49that the gold and silver had performed very well in the face
- 24:54of headwinds that traditionally, again, if we'd gone back five
- 24:57years ago. And I said, Bill, the, the, the,
- 24:59the Fed's going to raise rates at the fastest pace ever.
- 25:03The DXY index is going to be at 1:05.
- 25:07I've heard a lot of people say that, that they would have
- 25:09thought gold and silver should be actually be much lower than
- 25:12where they are now. So the, the good news is that
- 25:15gold and silver performed very well against some major
- 25:18headwinds. And, and, and one of which is
- 25:22also that the demand from Western investors has been
- 25:26subdued as well. They're like, if we get Western
- 25:29demand picking up and we get lower interest rates and we get
- 25:34the dollar going down, who knows where we could go?
- 25:40Yeah. The two metrics you mentioned,
- 25:43the USDX and also the ETFs, those are complete in my
- 25:50opinion, they're completely unimportant.
- 25:52And the USDX you're, you're measuring the dollar versus all
- 25:58their currencies to your butt. You're measuring one piece of
- 26:01shit versus a bigger pile of shit.
- 26:05So the USDX index, that's pure paper.
- 26:09What's more important is what, what is the, what will your, or
- 26:15how much of your currency do you need to buy a cup of coffee or a
- 26:19gallon of gas gold. That's the real measurement.
- 26:22And as far as the ETFs are concerned, if you look at their
- 26:27at their prospectuses, they don't have to hold physical
- 26:31gold. I mean, they can hold contracts,
- 26:34they can hold futures, they can hold forwards and they can hold
- 26:39derivatives on derivatives. So whether you know whether or
- 26:45not there's quote an outflow or an inflow, I don't think it
- 26:49matters because I don't think they deal in physical metal in a
- 26:54big way. And I was on the record back in
- 26:57what was it 2003, 2004 saying that the, the GLD and SLV, which
- 27:04were the first two ETFs to come out.
- 27:07I thought, and I, I believe I was absolutely correct that
- 27:13those were pressure valves, if you will, to divert, if you want
- 27:18to call it lazy capital because all you had to do was, you know,
- 27:21open a brokerage account, point and click and you bought the
- 27:25shares as opposed to going through.
- 27:29It's not difficult, but there's, there's more involved to buying
- 27:35physical metal, having it shipped yourself or stored or
- 27:38whatever. And I view that the ETF all
- 27:42along and still are pressure valves to divert demand away
- 27:48from the real deal and into, you know, paper gobbledygook.
- 27:53Yeah, it it, it's interesting you say that because I've had
- 27:57that same thought about crypto currencies as well.
- 28:01Here in Saint Louis, the local plumbing code requires that if
- 28:04you put in a hot water heater, you have to have, there's a name
- 28:09for it. It's about the size of a
- 28:10basketball, like another little tank that's connected to your
- 28:13hot water heater. In case the pressure builds up
- 28:16too big, too much in the hot water heater that the the
- 28:19pressure gets dissipated into this tank.
- 28:21I forget what they're called pressure relief, and I'd never
- 28:25heard that. That's interesting you bring
- 28:26that up about the ETFs, right? Because right, Of course, if
- 28:29they don't have to actually hold the physical metal that it's,
- 28:34you know, if if you work off the premise, which I believe, right,
- 28:38that the dollar and our gold and silver are kind of the enemy of
- 28:42the dollar, that the powers that be don't want all that money
- 28:48going into physical gold and silver, that those relief valves
- 28:53are there to kind of siphon money away from.
- 28:55But at some point, doesn't the physical market eventually win
- 29:00Bill? Well, yeah, and I think that is
- 29:04happening. You're already seeing the
- 29:06Shanghai exchange, which is mostly a cash.
- 29:09It's, you know, cash and carry exchange.
- 29:12It's a physical exchange. I mean, they're, they're trading
- 29:17at a premium over paper, so that there's, there's a premium over
- 29:23the COMEX and a premium over LBMA.
- 29:26And what's happening is with that higher price, it's a
- 29:30guaranteed profit via arbitrage. So you're seeing buying in the
- 29:35West, shipping it to China and being sold there and locking in
- 29:40a guaranteed profit. Wow.
- 29:43Wow. It's a it's, it's just crazy.
- 29:46What is what, what, what what we could see transpire within the
- 29:51next 10 years. It's gonna be interesting.
- 29:52It's gonna be an interesting ride.
- 29:54Bill, on behalf of myself and the viewer who joined us, I
- 29:58wanna say thank you. If people want to learn more
- 30:02about you or get in touch with you, what's the what's the best
- 30:05Ave. for that? Yeah, you can go to my website.
- 30:10It's just Bill holter.com. There is a contact button if you
- 30:14want to contact me. If you want to contact me
- 30:17directly, my business e-mail is PHOLTER at proton dot me.
- 30:25OK, and I'll, and I'll put that in the video description, the
- 30:29links as well for our viewer if they want to reach out and, and,
- 30:33and get in contact with you. Is there anything I forgot to
- 30:36ask you about Bill or anything you want to mention before we
- 30:39before we sign off? Well, we could do this obviously
- 30:44for hours and hours, but I mean, I would just say, I would say to
- 30:49the average person, you need to take care of yourself because no
- 30:54one else is going to do it for you.
- 30:56And if you're a believer that the government's here to help
- 30:58you, well, good luck. Buy silver and gold.
- 31:04That's a good first step as well.
- 31:05I'll throw that one in there. It's only one step though.
- 31:11There's all kinds of steps. Yeah, yeah.
- 31:13All kinds of things that that we can do food community, right and
- 31:18and things along that line. Right.
- 31:22The other precious metal being a lead and you got to be able to
- 31:25protect your position. You know, at some point, some at
- 31:30some point, if you want, we could do a, you know, a a
- 31:35prepping type checklist. OK, that would be awesome.
- 31:39I know that for the viewer that joined us today, they got a lot
- 31:43out of listening to you talk about that, but that would be
- 31:45great. Maybe in three or four weeks
- 31:48I'll I'll reach out as again and we can get together.
- 31:51That would be and I think I would benefit from that because
- 31:55I think I like a lot of the viewers.
- 31:56I'm living more in the suburbia setting, so to hear some ideas
- 32:00on other things outside of precious metals that a person
- 32:04needs to do could be provide a lot of value to our viewers.
- 32:09Yeah, on my website there is a, an icon box up top called
- 32:14Grizzlies Corner. It's written by a guy who used
- 32:20to go into the the, the dark lands of Idaho for six months at
- 32:26a time with a mule team and come out, you know, no worse for
- 32:30wear. So he's written a bunch of stuff
- 32:32that's a very good resource. I think early on he put up a, a
- 32:37checklist of, of, you know, things you need to do.
- 32:40So that's, I mean, you could probably spend an hour, two
- 32:43hours on that alone. And if you followed his links,
- 32:47you could probably spend, you know, a month or more digging
- 32:51into it. So Grizzly's Corner is a good is
- 32:54a very good resource for people who are looking to prepare.
- 32:59Be prepared. Sounds good, Bill.
- 33:01Well, we'll look forward to seeing you next time.
- 33:03Thank you again and and thanks to our viewer for for joining us
- 33:08and we'll talk to you soon. Thanks for having.
