- 0:04Speaker 1: NFL Game Deview is a production of the NFL in
- 0:06Speaker 1: partnership with Iheartradiot.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Right.
- 0:12Speaker 3: Welcome to Game debut. Patrick Clavland here with Cynthia Freeland.
- 0:15Speaker 3: We are in missing Man formation because Greg Rosenthal is
- 0:18Speaker 3: still in Europe.
- 0:19Speaker 2: He's in London for Vikings rounds.
- 0:21Speaker 3: But we remain and we're gonna get the picks everybody
- 0:24Speaker 3: without Greg because we could.
- 0:25Speaker 2: Still do this.
- 0:26Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, he's out there just living the life
- 0:28Speaker 4: the international traveler.
- 0:30Speaker 5: He's just everywhere.
- 0:31Speaker 4: And we'll be waiting right here in this little old room,
- 0:34Speaker 4: just waiting for Gray to come back.
- 0:35Speaker 3: You know, that's our main job here is to wait
- 0:37Speaker 3: for Greg. But don't sweat just Greg Nation. We'll have
- 0:39Speaker 3: all of his game picks coming up. But right now,
- 0:41Speaker 3: let's update you on our picks contest that we do
- 0:44Speaker 3: here on game debut, and you might notice a little
- 0:47Speaker 3: bit of a change. I'm gonna wear that crown because
- 0:50Speaker 3: all it takes is draining all joy from your existence
- 0:53Speaker 3: and picking the Kansas City Chiefs to beat Lamar Jackson
- 0:56Speaker 3: in the Baltimore Ravens. And so I have improved the
- 0:58Speaker 3: thirty nine and thirty four and yes we have confetti
- 1:02Speaker 3: I have a crown and an actual which says how
- 1:05Speaker 3: confident everybody is that I can remain.
- 1:07Speaker 2: At the top of this picks contest.
- 1:09Speaker 3: But yes, I will celebrate this and yeah, no, no, no, rulers,
- 1:12Speaker 3: we're you know, ultimately we're best as a team.
- 1:17Speaker 2: And when we share had stars.
- 1:19Speaker 5: In it, I think it's a special sign. Usually we
- 1:21Speaker 5: don't get stars.
- 1:22Speaker 2: They're they're stars.
- 1:23Speaker 3: It's the stars represent the points scored against the Dallas
- 1:27Speaker 3: Cowboys defense. I might be the current picks leader, but
- 1:30Speaker 3: the Eagles are the real champs, and they busted out
- 1:32Speaker 3: a little creativity last week.
- 1:36Speaker 2: Barkley is back in the game.
- 1:38Speaker 6: They're gonna touch push.
- 1:42Speaker 2: Perch fake stones Barkley. They faked a touch push.
- 1:48Speaker 3: They give it to Barkley around the outside on the
- 1:53Speaker 3: left and he goes in. So the four and O Eagles,
- 1:58Speaker 3: who are completely happy and drama free, play host to
- 2:01Speaker 3: the Denver Broncos. Denver put a beat down on the
- 2:03Speaker 3: Bengals Monday, and I Greg Rosendal is taking the Broncos
- 2:06Speaker 3: to beat the Eagles.
- 2:07Speaker 2: Here more on that later. What do you think happens?
- 2:09Speaker 4: SI? I was gonna say, we're just gonna gloss over
- 2:11Speaker 4: that yes, Hey, you.
- 2:12Speaker 5: Know I have not it fair enough.
- 2:15Speaker 4: I have the Eagles winning, but just by one point
- 2:18Speaker 4: twenty two to twenty one. I want to talk about
- 2:21Speaker 4: that faux Toush push and the actual tush push because
- 2:24Speaker 4: the run game is a.
- 2:25Speaker 5: Source of an advantage.
- 2:26Speaker 4: Now, I don't think passing against this Broncos defense is
- 2:30Speaker 4: the best opportunity. But not only are you seeing this
- 2:32Speaker 4: toush push have a high level of efficiency and efficacy,
- 2:35Speaker 4: but you're also seeing when they bluff, which I don't
- 2:38Speaker 4: know if you've heard this yet because we just talk
- 2:40Speaker 4: about it on every single freaking show that we're on together.
- 2:42Speaker 4: But ultimately I think that teams should be using bluffs
- 2:45Speaker 4: more often. Offensive coordinators need to go find a Coker
- 2:48Speaker 4: player to learn how to be an exceptional bluffer, because
- 2:52Speaker 4: this is where you have a huge advantage, especially against
- 2:55Speaker 4: a defense like the Broncos, who are so good in
- 2:57Speaker 4: the pass rush. They're so good at generating sexy, so
- 3:00Speaker 4: good at having Pats Ortan shut down your number one
- 3:03Speaker 4: wide receiver. So those small edges are massive deals.
- 3:06Speaker 3: Yeah, gotta make plays based off of the thing that
- 3:09Speaker 3: you're very, very good at. And also the coach on
- 3:10Speaker 3: the other sideline is a passionate defender of the Eagles
- 3:13Speaker 3: right to run the play that they're very good at.
- 3:15Speaker 3: Sean Payton on record that, but I've also got a
- 3:18Speaker 3: close Birds win twenty five to twenty two. I think
- 3:21Speaker 3: the offense we'll be dealing with the pressure, and I
- 3:23Speaker 3: understand that the Broncos defense can provide a lot of pressure.
- 3:26Speaker 3: But the number one quick pressure team in the entire
- 3:28Speaker 3: NFL is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, a team that the
- 3:31Speaker 3: Eagles had a lot of success in the first half
- 3:33Speaker 3: against last week. The real difference was on defense against
- 3:36Speaker 3: the Bucks. Quinnon Mitchell allowed just two receptions on nine
- 3:40Speaker 3: targets last week.
- 3:41Speaker 2: The Bucks lost five point.
- 3:43Speaker 3: Seven EPA when targeting Quinnon Mitchell last week. So non
- 3:47Speaker 3: Sutton Broncos might have to make a play or two
- 3:50Speaker 3: in this one.
- 3:51Speaker 5: Roy Franklin, Coll Troy, come on, Evan Ingram.
- 3:56Speaker 3: We enjoyed spending time with in the preseason with the
- 3:59Speaker 3: Denver Broncos. But folks, if you want to talk about
- 4:01Speaker 3: the Broncos, Greg is taking it could be just a
- 4:07Speaker 3: little bit of a make good with Nick Benito, because
- 4:11Speaker 3: Greg saw Jake Browning have a lot of trouble with
- 4:13Speaker 3: the Vikings defense, and he sent out this tweet, you know,
- 4:16Speaker 3: just picking up the Vikings for what they did, noting
- 4:18Speaker 3: the Broncos were next on the schedule, said the Vikings
- 4:20Speaker 3: defense is so good, Jake Browning will be relieved to.
- 4:22Speaker 2: Face the Broncos.
- 4:24Speaker 3: And after chasing Jake Browning up and down the field,
- 4:27Speaker 3: Nick Benito immediately went to social media website Twitter dot
- 4:30Speaker 3: com to unleash some crying, laughing emojis.
- 4:34Speaker 2: Fun stuff. It's don for Who's Eaten Good?
- 4:35Speaker 3: Presented by Applebee's Cynthia bo Nicks lit up the Bengals
- 4:39Speaker 3: Monday night for three hundred and twenty six passing yards
- 4:41Speaker 3: more or less than two sixteen against the Eagles.
- 4:44Speaker 4: Okay, I think that he has two hundred and forty two,
- 4:46Speaker 4: which is significantly more than two hundred and sixteen passing yards.
- 4:50Speaker 4: I'm looking at his opportunity, just like you talked about,
- 4:52Speaker 4: to target specific defenders with specific body type mismatches. You know,
- 4:58Speaker 4: Sean Payton loves those big body receivers, and some of
- 5:01Speaker 4: their defensive backs aren't quite the biggest guys out there.
- 5:04Speaker 3: The Broncos sitting at two and two right now, the
- 5:06Speaker 3: rival Chiefs have the same record, and they look pretty
- 5:09Speaker 3: good last week. Loaded the left side, the homeskos left
- 5:13Speaker 3: to touchdown.
- 5:15Speaker 5: I mean, you're playing one of the better teams in
- 5:17Speaker 5: the NFL.
- 5:18Speaker 2: You know you're not to be a little bit more
- 5:19Speaker 2: addressive holding left side.
- 5:20Speaker 3: Don't you protect off the fire hanging your side touchdown?
- 5:24Speaker 5: I thought we actually had a high level and crucial situations.
- 5:27Speaker 3: Between the one and the five down the Royals and
- 5:29Speaker 3: the end zide a third touchdown pass by the Mahomes.
- 5:32Speaker 1: And we had a good game plan going in and
- 5:34Speaker 1: we knew we had to raise our game and.
- 5:35Speaker 3: Ama Homes throws the un Mahomes has four TD passes
- 5:41Speaker 3: into the land of the Sweet Doctor Chiefs in Jags
- 5:45Speaker 3: down in Duval. Jacksonville is three and one on the season.
- 5:48Speaker 3: But Greg is rolling with Casey? Which way are you
- 5:51Speaker 3: leaning something?
- 5:51Speaker 4: You tell Greg to keep his name out of my
- 5:54Speaker 4: or my name out of his mill? Oh?
- 5:55Speaker 2: I messed up anywhere.
- 5:56Speaker 4: I have Kansas City winning this but only by two
- 5:58Speaker 4: points twenty three to twenty one in this matchup?
- 6:01Speaker 5: Why because of Xavier Worthies return.
- 6:04Speaker 4: The difference for Patrick Mahomes between when he's on the
- 6:06Speaker 4: field versus when he's off and I don't even want
- 6:09Speaker 4: to say in the past catching game, I'm talking about
- 6:11Speaker 4: yards per play in general, it's like over a yard
- 6:14Speaker 4: different per play.
- 6:15Speaker 5: That's massive. The gadget plays are back, the trick playser back.
- 6:18Speaker 4: Jujus Smith Schuster gets to do that dance it I'm
- 6:21Speaker 4: not even sure what it is.
- 6:22Speaker 5: I'm not cool enough to know what the.
- 6:24Speaker 4: Dance is anymore, but I am smart enough to know
- 6:26Speaker 4: that when number one is on the field, things change
- 6:29Speaker 4: for the entire offense.
- 6:30Speaker 5: The opportunity to rush.
- 6:32Speaker 4: Out of the shotgun, all of these things that are
- 6:34Speaker 4: small advantages which do matter. Against a team that leads
- 6:37Speaker 4: the league in takeaways, that's a huge deal.
- 6:40Speaker 3: You're reminding me of the big, the dark period in
- 6:43Speaker 3: our nation's timeline when the biggest issue was Jujus smiths Hu's.
- 6:46Speaker 2: Susi relationship with TikTok.
- 6:48Speaker 3: How far we've come since then, and I know I
- 6:50Speaker 3: was able to I actually.
- 6:51Speaker 5: Would rather our biggest issue Jus.
- 6:53Speaker 3: Yeah, it was a fun memory, and I know I
- 6:55Speaker 3: was able to get this crown based off of taking
- 6:58Speaker 3: the Kansas City Chiefs to win. But I've seen what
- 7:00Speaker 3: it's like on that side, and I don't want to
- 7:03Speaker 3: be there longer. I've got the Jacksonville Jaguars in duvals
- 7:07Speaker 3: right out to William Carroll twenty six to twenty.
- 7:09Speaker 2: One because weather, it's all.
- 7:11Speaker 3: One of these teams can run the ball consistently, and
- 7:13Speaker 3: I know Kansas City had a lot of success at
- 7:16Speaker 3: just one of the worst.
- 7:16Speaker 2: Defenses in the NFL.
- 7:18Speaker 3: Not so quietly last week, Traves ten's leading the entire
- 7:21Speaker 3: NFL in yards per Carrie, second in the.
- 7:23Speaker 2: League in rushing yards.
- 7:25Speaker 3: Cindy, do you know that's the best yards per Carrey
- 7:27Speaker 3: season in JAG's history among qualifiers.
- 7:30Speaker 4: Maurice Jones Stree, it's our coworker and friend, Maurice Jones Drew.
- 7:33Speaker 5: Enough, Yes to get that. You're to say is traves Ets.
- 7:35Speaker 3: It's not Travis Ets, but if he's on pace to
- 7:38Speaker 3: do so, it's four games.
- 7:39Speaker 2: But if you're matching our GYMJD.
- 7:42Speaker 3: Then yeah, I'm gonna take the Jacksonville Jaguars for our
- 7:44Speaker 3: next matchup.
- 7:45Speaker 2: Let's head across the Atlantic Ocean to London. Welcome to London, English.
- 7:53Speaker 2: The women a matter of funding.
- 7:54Speaker 7: Things, Wow, Gart never been that open for all many.
- 8:07Speaker 4: The kick is going.
- 8:14Speaker 3: Like for the GOP best thank going London's calling with
- 8:18Speaker 3: a highlight snooze off game on Sunday Morning Football Continues
- 8:24Speaker 3: in London, presented by NetApp Justin Jefferson and the Vikings
- 8:27Speaker 3: versus Miles Garrett and the Browns Sunday nine thirty am
- 8:30Speaker 3: Eastern only on NFL Network, Also streaming with NFL Plus.
- 8:33Speaker 3: Inscription required for NFL Plus, visit Plus out NFL dot
- 8:37Speaker 3: com for terms.
- 8:39Speaker 2: Let's talk some more about this matchup.
- 8:40Speaker 3: The Vikings coming off of a loss to the Steelers
- 8:43Speaker 3: in Ireland, while the Browns have decided they're starting rookie
- 8:45Speaker 3: Dylan Gabriel at quarterback. Greg is there for the game,
- 8:48Speaker 3: so let's send it to him for more.
- 8:53Speaker 8: What's up, guys, I am here in London doing the
- 8:56Speaker 8: best that I can, kind of like Carson Wentz and
- 8:59Speaker 8: Dylan Gabriel are going to do on Sunday. These defenses
- 9:03Speaker 8: are gonna dominate in this Vikings Browns matchup. It's the
- 9:06Speaker 8: lowest I'm over under of any game all year. I
- 9:09Speaker 8: ultimately like the Vikings to win seventeen to sixteenth.
- 9:13Speaker 5: You can call it nasty.
- 9:14Speaker 8: I call it defense, and both of these defensive lines
- 9:18Speaker 8: are awesome. Sacks, turnovers and maybe a late defensive score
- 9:23Speaker 8: for the Vikings. They're the better organization, they get the win.
- 9:26Speaker 8: I cannot wait to see you guys next week.
- 9:30Speaker 3: We can't wait to see you Greg without all of
- 9:32Speaker 3: the things going on.
- 9:34Speaker 5: Was it baby's diaper being check?
- 9:36Speaker 2: You know?
- 9:36Speaker 3: Sometimes when it's time, it's time. Greg has the Vikings
- 9:40Speaker 3: by one. How about you, Cynthia.
- 9:43Speaker 5: I have the Vikings by six twenty two to sixteen.
- 9:46Speaker 4: I really think that that one was changing a baby
- 9:48Speaker 4: stiper behind him. But anyways, I'm looking at this one
- 9:50Speaker 4: and I'm talking.
- 9:51Speaker 5: About Justin Jefferson.
- 9:53Speaker 4: The difference between Justin Jefferson with Jordan Addison. There was massive,
- 9:58Speaker 4: so much space to work with, so many opportunities. Both
- 10:02Speaker 4: guys had over one hundred yards. It was a nice
- 10:05Speaker 4: way to see the sort of return of the passing offense. Now,
- 10:08Speaker 4: I understand it didn't result in a win, but one
- 10:11Speaker 4: area where they do match up well. The Browns play
- 10:13Speaker 4: a lot of man defense and they've actually given up
- 10:16Speaker 4: the most touchdowns in man seven in the entire NFL.
- 10:19Speaker 4: And Justin Jefferson he figures to make well on that right,
- 10:23Speaker 4: do a good job against it.
- 10:24Speaker 3: Yeah, I've got the Vikings by a bit more twenty
- 10:27Speaker 3: three to twelve twelve. Yeah, because our chances to talk
- 10:31Speaker 3: Browns are kind of limited. Let's discuss Harold Fanning Junior,
- 10:34Speaker 3: the all time single season record holder in college football
- 10:37Speaker 3: history for receptions by a tight end, is oddly enough
- 10:40Speaker 3: getting at opportunities to catch yeah for the Cleveland Browns,
- 10:43Speaker 3: and last week against the Lions has slowed that down
- 10:46Speaker 3: a bit. As you know, Kirby and Brian Branch do
- 10:49Speaker 3: tend to cause problems for other tight ends. If the
- 10:52Speaker 3: Browns make it the twelve points, I think there's a
- 10:54Speaker 3: lot of forty four getting action. But yes, mean us away.
- 10:58Speaker 3: We are all taking the Minnesota Vikings to win. In London.
- 11:06Speaker 1: The handoff Walker, he breaks a tackle coming to the
- 11:10Speaker 1: New York side.
- 11:14Speaker 3: I never know what to do in those situations where
- 11:18Speaker 3: the bat comes back around.
- 11:20Speaker 2: I'm like, because you want to, like Sam rules out
- 11:26Speaker 2: near your side.
- 11:27Speaker 5: Throw his baby, keep rolling, keep going. Then you're sick O.
- 11:40Speaker 2: That's what I'm talking about, Bro.
- 11:42Speaker 3: I'm gonna be honest, Sam, it looked like you didn't
- 11:44Speaker 3: know what to do when the bat came back around.
- 11:46Speaker 3: Tom Form sees the season presented by Caesar Sportsbook. As
- 11:49Speaker 3: we get a look at the first touchdown score odds
- 11:51Speaker 3: according to our friends at Caesar's Kenneth Walker, Rashad White
- 11:55Speaker 3: and Zach Charbonay, Jackson Smith and Jigua and a Mecca
- 11:57Speaker 3: at Buka with Kenneth Walker leading the way in a
- 12:01Speaker 3: fun matchup between two good teams, the Bucks and the
- 12:04Speaker 3: Seahawks up in Seattle, both teams three and one, both
- 12:07Speaker 3: teams led by former Panthers quarterbacks during the Matt Rule
- 12:10Speaker 3: era that we don't like to talk about that much.
- 12:11Speaker 2: Greg's going with the Seahawks. How do you feel about
- 12:14Speaker 2: this one, Cynthia.
- 12:15Speaker 4: Well, maybe you're the first the voice of dissent, because
- 12:18Speaker 4: I too, am going with the Seahawks twenty three to
- 12:21Speaker 4: twenty one in this smashup.
- 12:22Speaker 5: And now I'm very confused with.
- 12:23Speaker 4: What you're gonna say, but one of the things I know,
- 12:26Speaker 4: I kind of can't wait. One of the things that
- 12:28Speaker 4: I really like about Seattle's defense is their ability to
- 12:30Speaker 4: get pressure with only rushing for guys.
- 12:33Speaker 5: It's a huge advantage, especially.
- 12:35Speaker 4: When the injury report looks like Theirs does with some
- 12:38Speaker 4: of their defensive backs showing up on it. It allows
- 12:41Speaker 4: you to drop back into coverage with some of your
- 12:43Speaker 4: linebacker level players, So it really lessens the blow that
- 12:47Speaker 4: could happen if you're having to leverage the blitz in
- 12:50Speaker 4: order to get pressure on a posting quarterback. So I
- 12:52Speaker 4: think this team is very much for real. I think
- 12:54Speaker 4: this defense is extra special for real. In fact, it's
- 12:58Speaker 4: right up there. I just think we need to do
- 12:59Speaker 4: a better job as a branding exercise, right, we need to, like,
- 13:02Speaker 4: it needs a better like a catch your name, like
- 13:04Speaker 4: the Seahawks defense. You can't call it the Legion of
- 13:06Speaker 4: Boom two or something, but everything is a like a
- 13:09Speaker 4: remake these days.
- 13:10Speaker 5: So Legion of Boom two, I don't know, Yeah.
- 13:12Speaker 2: Like the Sea Tac Exporters or something.
- 13:15Speaker 5: Woo, yeah, there you go.
- 13:16Speaker 2: The voice of dissent is Gregor.
- 13:18Speaker 5: Here's here.
- 13:19Speaker 3: Greg Rosenthal has his thirteen point game. I've got a
- 13:22Speaker 3: one point game. Cynthia has a two point game in
- 13:25Speaker 3: this one. I have Seattle a winning home where the
- 13:28Speaker 3: home road splits are just weird for the Seattle Seahawks.
- 13:31Speaker 3: I don't think that that's anything we should consistently buy into.
- 13:34Speaker 2: It's one of those just odd happenstance.
- 13:37Speaker 5: Of numbers that it matters who you play in.
- 13:39Speaker 3: When you play certain teams, like certain teams in your division,
- 13:44Speaker 3: they're good.
- 13:44Speaker 2: But I am buying Sam Darnold.
- 13:46Speaker 3: He's completing north of sixty percent of his downfield passes,
- 13:48Speaker 3: matching a trend from last year with Minnesota. When he's clean,
- 13:51Speaker 3: he's having a ten yards per completion, which is a
- 13:54Speaker 3: stat that Cynthia just actually remembered and I had to
- 13:57Speaker 3: look up at like the sweating to get those numbers out.
- 14:00Speaker 3: So it wasn't just Kevin O'Connell. Sam loves the deep ball.
- 14:03Speaker 3: But being honest that the Tempa Bay Buccaneers are very hurt.
- 14:06Speaker 3: This is a very long trip and they've got a lot.
- 14:08Speaker 2: To deal with.
- 14:09Speaker 3: It's a an accomplishment for them to be three to
- 14:12Speaker 3: one with the injuries that they've had.
- 14:13Speaker 2: Seize the season. Brought to you by Caesars Sportsbook. New
- 14:16Speaker 2: users can.
- 14:17Speaker 3: Bet one dollar to boost their next twenty bets by
- 14:19Speaker 3: one hundred percent.
- 14:20Speaker 2: Must be twenty one or older.
- 14:22Speaker 3: See Caesars dot com slash promos in order to get
- 14:25Speaker 3: the full terms. Good news for the Washington Commanders. Their
- 14:29Speaker 3: star quarterback Jaydon Daniels has been cleared by doctors and
- 14:33Speaker 3: was a full participant in practice this week. Daniels missed
- 14:36Speaker 3: the last two games with the knee injury. During his absence,
- 14:39Speaker 3: Washington was able to go one and one. Jade's got
- 14:45Speaker 3: Justin Herbert and the Chargers Sunday, the Bolts coming off
- 14:47Speaker 3: of their first loss of the season.
- 14:49Speaker 2: Terry McLaurin gonna miss this game. Which way are you leaning, Cynthy.
- 14:53Speaker 4: I'm leaning towards the home team winning, but by a
- 14:56Speaker 4: pretty narrow margin, just two points. I have twenty four
- 14:59Speaker 4: to twenty two in this matchup. But I'm looking at
- 15:02Speaker 4: what's going on with their rookie running, especially considering what's
- 15:06Speaker 4: going on with the Chargers O line with both tackles
- 15:09Speaker 4: now not playing so Rashaun Slater before the season and
- 15:11Speaker 4: then now Joe Alt. It's going to be extra special
- 15:15Speaker 4: important for the run game to be efficient, so that
- 15:18Speaker 4: Justin Herbert can stay as efficient as he has been with.
- 15:21Speaker 5: A lot of pressure. Last week, that was what happened
- 15:24Speaker 5: with the Giants.
- 15:24Speaker 4: They were pressuring him a forty seven percent forty eight
- 15:27Speaker 4: percent clip. That is very hard for anyone to sustain.
- 15:30Speaker 4: Whereas Omari and Hampton's coming on, He's shouldering some of
- 15:32Speaker 4: these blocks.
- 15:33Speaker 5: He's helping in all of the schemes.
- 15:35Speaker 4: This kid's doing great. He's also finding his way into
- 15:38Speaker 4: the end zone. So fantasy managers.
- 15:39Speaker 5: They're pretty happy too.
- 15:40Speaker 4: But I'm talking about the real football part of it,
- 15:42Speaker 4: which is help the O line, the backup O lineman
- 15:45Speaker 4: out and keep your quarterback out of harm's way.
- 15:48Speaker 5: Two point win home team.
- 15:49Speaker 3: Yeah, it was a lot of Justin Herbert having to
- 15:51Speaker 3: deal with Thibodeau and Abdullah Carter in that matchup where
- 15:56Speaker 3: you worry about the Bolts.
- 15:57Speaker 2: I was worried.
- 15:57Speaker 3: I initially had the Washington Commanders winning this game, but
- 16:01Speaker 3: then I saw that video of the leg Barrice on
- 16:03Speaker 3: Dan Daniel in practice, and then I saw a little
- 16:07Speaker 3: bit of Jaden Daniels in the in the pregame newser
- 16:11Speaker 3: on Friday on Thursday saying we'll see on Sunday, So
- 16:14Speaker 3: go ahead and switch my pick around.
- 16:16Speaker 2: I'm actually taking the Chargers. Yeah, oh no, We've already
- 16:22Speaker 2: got switched. Just a meme alert.
- 16:23Speaker 3: Yes, I'm taking the Chargers here because the whole pregame
- 16:27Speaker 3: we'll see on Sunday.
- 16:28Speaker 2: Like, how do you feel thing?
- 16:30Speaker 3: I'm a little bit out on that, but celebrating why
- 16:34Speaker 3: not the Washington Commanders run game because it's very good.
- 16:37Speaker 3: It's the actual reason I initially picked them. In this game,
- 16:40Speaker 3: they're averaging five point nine yards to carry. They've run
- 16:43Speaker 3: for the second most yards in the league this season,
- 16:45Speaker 3: and a lot of that comes with their backup quarterback
- 16:49Speaker 3: playing in Marcus Marotto, who played very well. I think
- 16:53Speaker 3: it's a tough task to ask half of Jayden Daniels.
- 16:56Speaker 2: Perhaps we'll see on Sunday. Either way, the confidence was.
- 17:00Speaker 3: Not inspired, so I was not able to inspire an
- 17:03Speaker 3: upset pick on the road in Sofar Stadium on Sunday.
- 17:07Speaker 9: Play clock down to pour on first and ten for
- 17:09Speaker 9: the twenty eight takes.
- 17:11Speaker 2: The snap takes, the throat of the flat looks.
- 17:13Speaker 9: Now the sideline, He's got kincaid, who's gonna walk it
- 17:16Speaker 9: in for a twenty three yard touchdown. Oh, they got
- 17:21Speaker 9: the Saints fighting on that one, and it's easy, peasy, lemon.
- 17:26Speaker 2: Squeeze get that's citrus.
- 17:29Speaker 3: On Sunday Night, the Patriots and the undefeated Bills, New
- 17:32Speaker 3: England destroyed the Panthers last week. Despite his Patriots fandom,
- 17:36Speaker 3: Greg has the Bills winning here.
- 17:37Speaker 2: What are your thoughts on there? Oh?
- 17:39Speaker 5: Greg, he's a little trader to the Patriots.
- 17:41Speaker 4: Well, I have Buffalo winning thirty to twenty two and
- 17:44Speaker 4: eight point victory because I believe that the Bills offense
- 17:47Speaker 4: will control the ball with James Cook and also Josh Allen.
- 17:51Speaker 4: But I'm looking at James Cook here specifically because I
- 17:53Speaker 4: want to compliment this O line. Not only are they
- 17:56Speaker 4: great to their quarterback, allowing him the least pressure rate,
- 17:59Speaker 4: the lowest pressure rate in the league, but they're also
- 18:02Speaker 4: great run blocking for James Cook, which is why you
- 18:05Speaker 4: see him getting the end zone so often. The play
- 18:07Speaker 4: calling works really well with both of their skill sets,
- 18:10Speaker 4: their run game, the short passing game. What this dynamic
- 18:13Speaker 4: back can do is going to be a hard task,
- 18:15Speaker 4: even for the Patriots front, which.
- 18:17Speaker 5: Has played very well.
- 18:19Speaker 4: You're seeing Josh Allen leverage you short passes and rely
- 18:22Speaker 4: on Yak. A lot of that is because that's the
- 18:24Speaker 4: way that they're confusing all of the different defenders. I
- 18:26Speaker 4: think that's a huge advantage. I think James Cook also
- 18:28Speaker 4: c cenzone.
- 18:29Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 18:29Speaker 2: The ability to.
- 18:30Speaker 3: Get that yards after catch is a big part of
- 18:32Speaker 3: this Bill's offense. And another big part of being able
- 18:35Speaker 3: to do that is having playmakers that can do it
- 18:37Speaker 3: and Khalil Shakir is one of the best ones going
- 18:40Speaker 3: on the outside when they need plays in the short
- 18:42Speaker 3: passing game.
- 18:43Speaker 2: He's the one.
- 18:44Speaker 3: It's been two weeks since Josh Allen has thrown a
- 18:46Speaker 3: pass to Khalil Shakir that didn't result in yards, and
- 18:49Speaker 3: last week's big.
- 18:50Speaker 2: Play that you're seeing right here tacked on.
- 18:52Speaker 3: An additional forty two yards after catch over expectation. If
- 18:56Speaker 3: only the Bill's defense could make some similar plays, which
- 18:59Speaker 3: is why we all three have a lot of points
- 19:02Speaker 3: in this one.
- 19:03Speaker 2: But me and Muscle ok we have all taken the
- 19:05Speaker 2: Buffalo Bills thanks to spectacular children.
- 19:09Speaker 3: Get pumped because the NFL heads to England for the
- 19:12Speaker 3: next three weeks. Snooze off game on Sunday Morning Football
- 19:16Speaker 3: continues in London, presented by NetApp. This week, it's Justin
- 19:19Speaker 3: Jefferson and the Vikings versus Miles Garrett and the Browns, Sunday,
- 19:23Speaker 3: nine thirty am Eastern only on NFL Network, Also streaming
- 19:26Speaker 3: with NFL Plus subscription required for OLFL Plus visit Plus
- 19:30Speaker 3: dot NFL dot com for terms.
- 19:34Speaker 2: It's time for more or less.
- 19:36Speaker 3: Let's discuss some player props for this week's Vikings Browns
- 19:40Speaker 3: game in London. First one going to Ucynthia Carson Wentz
- 19:43Speaker 3: more or less than two hundred and eight passing.
- 19:46Speaker 5: Two hundred and eight passing years.
- 19:48Speaker 4: I have fewer than that less than that, not because
- 19:52Speaker 4: I don't think the vike'sier to win. We already talked
- 19:53Speaker 4: about who we have the winner being. But I think
- 19:55Speaker 4: that the smart play here will be to keep Carson
- 19:58Speaker 4: Wentz out of arms way.
- 20:00Speaker 5: So perhaps slowing down the pace.
- 20:02Speaker 4: I know this is not a defe that you can
- 20:04Speaker 4: target in the run game at all. They're the best
- 20:07Speaker 4: run defense in the league. In fact, they're the best
- 20:09Speaker 4: total defense.
- 20:10Speaker 5: In the league.
- 20:11Speaker 4: So being smart about playing slow, taking time off the clock,
- 20:14Speaker 4: maybe committing to the run even if it doesn't give
- 20:16Speaker 4: you a ton of yards per carry, that will be
- 20:18Speaker 4: the way to do it.
- 20:19Speaker 2: All right, let's go over to the other side.
- 20:21Speaker 3: Dylan Gabriel makes his first career start against the Minnesota
- 20:24Speaker 3: Vikings defense.
- 20:25Speaker 2: Will he throw one touchdown? Yes?
- 20:28Speaker 3: I think actually will Dylan Gabriel with an opportunity came in.
- 20:32Speaker 3: It looked pretty good in the preseason in spots he
- 20:35Speaker 3: gets a chance to throw. Being left handed, perhaps to
- 20:39Speaker 3: sneak up and surprise the Minnesota Vikings.
- 20:41Speaker 2: You know, it's not.
- 20:42Speaker 3: Often you get a chance to play against the left
- 20:44Speaker 3: handed quarterback. I again don't necessarily think the game is
- 20:48Speaker 3: going to be that close, but hey, I think Dylan
- 20:51Speaker 3: Gabriel gets a chance to put one into.
- 20:54Speaker 2: The scoring region.
- 20:55Speaker 3: Next one for you, Cynthia over or under seventeen carries
- 20:58Speaker 3: for Jordan Mason.
- 20:59Speaker 4: Oh, I mean, look, I told you that it is
- 21:02Speaker 4: the number one run defense.
- 21:03Speaker 5: But Ian O'Connell also.
- 21:05Speaker 4: Knows this, and he can scheme up some opportunities to
- 21:08Speaker 4: be smart with the football, especially on early downs. We
- 21:12Speaker 4: saw what happened when Carson Wentz tried to throw in
- 21:15Speaker 4: between the hashes last week. You know what, two times
- 21:18Speaker 4: a pick by the same person. They don't want that
- 21:20Speaker 4: to happen again. So smart run schemes a lot of attempts.
- 21:24Speaker 4: That will be the formula. You may not see this
- 21:27Speaker 4: kind of yards after contact or yards before contact for
- 21:30Speaker 4: that matter, but ultimately I think the commitment to the
- 21:32Speaker 4: run game will still be there.
- 21:33Speaker 5: Didn't say yards, it says attempts.
- 21:35Speaker 3: Yes, attempts and being committed to the run game is
- 21:37Speaker 3: what I also think of the Cleveland Browns and this
- 21:40Speaker 3: one more less than seventy four yards for quin Shawn Jupkins. Yeah,
- 21:43Speaker 3: you put the ball in the rookies' hands to keep
- 21:46Speaker 3: the ball out of the hands of the other rookie
- 21:47Speaker 3: who was making his first career start against Brian Flores's
- 21:50Speaker 3: defense in a different country. By the way, Curly I ever, Yeah,
- 21:55Speaker 3: so go ahead and load up quin Shawn Judkins with
- 21:59Speaker 3: carries and opportunities, and I think seventy four and a
- 22:01Speaker 3: half rush yards is something you can feel confident about.
- 22:04Speaker 3: Let's go back to the other side, because Jordan Addison
- 22:06Speaker 3: had over one hundred yards in his season debut.
- 22:08Speaker 2: Will he go over forty one this week?
- 22:11Speaker 5: What's that number?
- 22:12Speaker 2: Year? Forty one?
- 22:13Speaker 4: But I don't know if I this doesn't really need
- 22:17Speaker 4: much context. Jordan Addison.
- 22:22Speaker 5: Yards yards, forty one, forty one. Yeah, he's going to
- 22:26Speaker 5: go over forty one yards.
- 22:27Speaker 4: In fact, I think that the opportunity here is to
- 22:30Speaker 4: take advantage of they've had some injuries to that secondary.
- 22:32Speaker 4: It's not like they've had a full slate of extremely
- 22:35Speaker 4: healthy cornerback. What are we talking about here, man coverage? Yeah,
- 22:38Speaker 4: they're okay, they're okay.
- 22:39Speaker 2: Yeah, they catched the.
- 22:39Speaker 3: Passes as far as receiving tandems and yes, this is.
- 22:42Speaker 5: They're going to say eighty one a very.
- 22:44Speaker 2: Good Browns defense. Eighty one, Yeah.
- 22:47Speaker 4: That would be that would be a much different I'd
- 22:50Speaker 4: have to think about that one for a second. Forty
- 22:51Speaker 4: one he was a little low.
- 22:53Speaker 3: Yeah, get Carson a couple opportunities again on the outside.
- 22:56Speaker 2: We'll keep him out of the middle of the field.
- 22:58Speaker 3: Last one, Justin Jefferson, seventy yards. Yeah, I'm going to
- 23:02Speaker 3: go more, just because it's a requirement at this point.
- 23:06Speaker 3: Fource feed justin Jefferson upset a couple of weeks now
- 23:09Speaker 3: the formula's out.
- 23:10Speaker 5: Wan, I know something funny. Yeah, he has thirty yards.
- 23:13Speaker 4: Then he becomes the guy with the most international receiving yards.
- 23:15Speaker 4: Right now it's Stevie Johnson who has like, I don't
- 23:18Speaker 4: know about thirty yards more than the three hundred and
- 23:20Speaker 4: sixty five that this man already has. And that was
- 23:22Speaker 4: all in Canada, so he's got to do it in
- 23:24Speaker 4: multiple coinds. Oh my gosh, just saying, you know, we're
- 23:26Speaker 4: full of facts here, useless.
- 23:27Speaker 2: Knowledge yards plus miles traveled. It's oh my god.
- 23:30Speaker 5: Well that's a new metric. Give me next gen stats
- 23:32Speaker 5: on the phone right now.
- 23:34Speaker 3: Speaking of this game in London, let's take a look
- 23:36Speaker 3: at the remaining international games on the NFL schedule this season.
- 23:40Speaker 3: You get a chance to see this one coming up
- 23:42Speaker 3: in London on Sunday, and then the Broncos taking on
- 23:45Speaker 3: the Jets at Tottenham Hotspurres Stadium at Wimbley.
- 23:48Speaker 2: It will be the Rams and the Jags.
- 23:50Speaker 3: Over at Olympic Stadium in Berlin, the Falcons taking on
- 23:53Speaker 3: the Colts, and the Commanders and the Fins.
- 23:56Speaker 2: Will wrap it up in Madrid.
- 23:58Speaker 3: NFL action in Spain, closing out the international series in
- 24:02Speaker 3: twenty twenty five.
- 24:02Speaker 5: I love saying Tottenham Hawks fu out there.
- 24:05Speaker 2: It is.
- 24:05Speaker 5: It's so fun.
- 24:06Speaker 3: My accent is very poor, so I don't want to
- 24:08Speaker 3: disrespect the people. It's time for the two minute drill,
- 24:10Speaker 3: presented by the Wells Fargo Active Cash credit card. Let's
- 24:13Speaker 3: make some very very quick picks here. The Lions and
- 24:16Speaker 3: the Bengals in the jungle. I've got your line smashing
- 24:19Speaker 3: them for the score of fifty to nineteen.
- 24:21Speaker 2: How do you feel.
- 24:22Speaker 4: I mean, I like your score better, but I have
- 24:25Speaker 4: thirty one to ten appointment a little.
- 24:27Speaker 5: Bit more conservative for me. I like that.
- 24:29Speaker 4: The sum of the running back parts are actually greater
- 24:32Speaker 4: than each individual one together, right, the whole is greater
- 24:34Speaker 4: than the sum.
- 24:35Speaker 5: If you look at what they're doing.
- 24:36Speaker 4: David Montgomery and Jabeer Gibs together each rank like tenth
- 24:40Speaker 4: most in Forcemith tackles or tenth most in yards after
- 24:43Speaker 4: Forcemith tackles, but together they ranked third and fourth in
- 24:46Speaker 4: those metrics respectively. So David Montgomery, welcome back to your
- 24:49Speaker 4: fantasy team. After Oh, I love the Lion, Hi hor
- 24:53Speaker 4: Hi Rory love.
- 24:54Speaker 3: Forry, I just want to say that Greg's score of
- 24:56Speaker 3: thirty three to nine is far more disrespectful than fifty
- 25:00Speaker 3: to nineteen.
- 25:01Speaker 5: I have the most respectful one.
- 25:02Speaker 3: Yes, which is something the Angles deserve. In twenty twenty five,
- 25:05Speaker 3: the Dolphins and Cardinals Miami got their first win last Monday,
- 25:10Speaker 3: but lost Tyreek Hill. I've got the Panthers winning this
- 25:12Speaker 3: one at home.
- 25:14Speaker 2: With t mac putting on a show.
- 25:16Speaker 3: Tetrolad McMillan in pressman coverage means Rice is throwing in
- 25:20Speaker 3: the ball forty one percent of the time, which is
- 25:22Speaker 3: good for top ten in the league at that rate,
- 25:24Speaker 3: and with the Finns being in the top third of
- 25:26Speaker 3: the league playing Pressman out wide. It maybe plays into
- 25:30Speaker 3: one of the Panthers' strengths here. And also the Panthers
- 25:33Speaker 3: gotta win one more game. If it's not this one
- 25:35Speaker 3: at home, I don't.
- 25:37Speaker 5: Know where the win that they've just got to.
- 25:42Speaker 2: It's gotta have at some point. The Titans and the Cardinals.
- 25:44Speaker 3: Last week after Tennessee lost, cam Ward was very honest
- 25:46Speaker 3: about what farm animal the team reminded him of.
- 25:49Speaker 2: Does he get his first win this week.
- 25:51Speaker 4: I'm going to keep it a buck and say, no,
- 25:54Speaker 4: it's not gonna happen.
- 25:55Speaker 2: I sure say what Camp said.
- 25:56Speaker 5: He said, just keep it a buck.
- 25:58Speaker 2: Okay, that's the first part of what he said.
- 26:00Speaker 5: Right, I didn't. I've just you know, quote dot dot dot.
- 26:03Speaker 5: There's an ellipsees there.
- 26:04Speaker 4: I'm looking at Marvin Harrison Junior in this matchup to
- 26:06Speaker 4: again reach the end zone. I saw something pretty great
- 26:09Speaker 4: from this young man.
- 26:10Speaker 5: I'm so old now I can say that.
- 26:12Speaker 4: But it was a frustrating start to the season. I mean,
- 26:14Speaker 4: if you look at Kyler Murray's stats, he's having one
- 26:16Speaker 4: of his worst statistical seasons ever. And when you're watching
- 26:19Speaker 4: some of these drops and then you find him, you know,
- 26:22Speaker 4: working through this when you have that last name and
- 26:25Speaker 4: the type of pressure he's under. I can't factor it
- 26:27Speaker 4: into math, but I'm really like, I get inspired watching him.
- 26:30Speaker 4: It's very It's cool to see someone work through something
- 26:32Speaker 4: difficult and come out in the other end. So, I
- 26:35Speaker 4: don't know, I think it's gonna be a factor in
- 26:36Speaker 4: this one too, especially since with the Titans you can
- 26:38Speaker 4: target them in the past catching game.
- 26:40Speaker 3: Yeah, it's interesting to see both of these teams kind
- 26:42Speaker 3: of try to find out what they want to be offensively,
- 26:45Speaker 3: and for the Tennessee Titans, I think a win is
- 26:47Speaker 3: coming at some point, and considering the way that cam
- 26:50Speaker 3: Ward and you want to flip it, No, I'm gonna
- 26:53Speaker 3: say We're keep it a bucket, keep it very comfortable,
- 26:55Speaker 3: keeping it a buck Shout out to camp coming up, folks.
- 26:59Speaker 2: Have you gone over to the dark side? Who Jackson?
- 27:02Speaker 3: Dark Giants rook quarterback taking the league by storm? With
- 27:06Speaker 3: lots of hugs for Brian dave Ball. Can he and
- 27:09Speaker 3: the g men take care of business once again? An
- 27:12Speaker 3: encore in Sunday.
- 27:13Speaker 2: In New Orleans. Let you know what we.
- 27:15Speaker 6: Think coming up next? On game debut, it's.
- 27:26Speaker 5: Back and standing and fires at left in.
- 27:28Speaker 9: Its top pickt shuck us away, ten Fie pickings, pil
- 27:32Speaker 9: on picking.
- 27:35Speaker 6: Touchdown, touchdown, touchdown.
- 27:39Speaker 3: It's time for the read presented by Microsoft co Pilot.
- 27:42Speaker 3: Microsoft co Pilot, your AI companion for NFL game Day
- 27:46Speaker 3: and every day we ask Microsoft co Pilot for the
- 27:48Speaker 3: key storylines to watch, and Sunday's Cowboys Jets matchup the
- 27:52Speaker 3: battle between a couple of first year head coaches, Dallas
- 27:55Speaker 3: being in polar opposite ends of the spectrum with their
- 27:57Speaker 3: offense and defense, the Jets still looking for that first win,
- 28:00Speaker 3: and injury concerns for both teams.
- 28:02Speaker 2: Rounding out the co Pilot Week five preview.
- 28:05Speaker 3: Let's dive into this game, Dallas coming off of tie
- 28:07Speaker 3: versus the Packers, the Jets still looking for the first
- 28:10Speaker 3: win for the fifth straight week.
- 28:12Speaker 4: Greg wrott Ball, tell everyone what our researcher told us
- 28:15Speaker 4: about Jess Greg Nation.
- 28:17Speaker 3: Yeah, folks, in Jess Greg Nation. If Greg had stopped
- 28:20Speaker 3: picking the Jets, you would be undefeated in just Greg's
- 28:23Speaker 3: this season. Unfortunately, he's been wrong every single week while
- 28:26Speaker 3: taking the Jets. So I will take the Cowboys here
- 28:29Speaker 3: twenty eight to twenty six, and I will really not
- 28:31Speaker 3: even discuss the defense. I just want to heap praise
- 28:34Speaker 3: Cynthia on Rain Dakota Prescott. His completion percentage over expected
- 28:39Speaker 3: is eight point nine right now. He's playing out of
- 28:42Speaker 3: his mind. There were so many situations where it's like, oh, one,
- 28:46Speaker 3: are the.
- 28:46Speaker 2: Cowboys gonna do? They just kept scoring against the Packers
- 28:50Speaker 2: and it still wasn't even enough. They left with the tie.
- 28:53Speaker 2: I think it might be enough going up against.
- 28:55Speaker 4: The Jets, Well, we're gonna make it another just Greg,
- 28:59Speaker 4: he's doing it again. He's doing it again with the
- 29:01Speaker 4: Jets by three points.
- 29:03Speaker 5: There. No, I'm not doing it.
- 29:05Speaker 4: I'm gonna take the Cowboys twenty six to twenty four,
- 29:07Speaker 4: even with two of their offensive linemen, even with true
- 29:12Speaker 4: of their offensive lineman.
- 29:14Speaker 5: I'm playing.
- 29:15Speaker 4: I want to talk about Jake Ferguson for a second,
- 29:19Speaker 4: because we don't give him enough luff. No, the guy's
- 29:22Speaker 4: like just out here doing things that are high volume,
- 29:25Speaker 4: high reception, like the like the most among tight ends,
- 29:29Speaker 4: the second most in the.
- 29:30Speaker 5: League, thirty four.
- 29:31Speaker 4: I mean he's doing things that are making up for
- 29:34Speaker 4: the fact, not completely, you can never make up for
- 29:36Speaker 4: not having Ceedee Lamb, but really helping the team out
- 29:39Speaker 4: in a time when the pass catching situation has been
- 29:42Speaker 4: depleted due to injuries. You know who's just getting those
- 29:44Speaker 4: yak going out there taking those hard hits.
- 29:47Speaker 2: It's jack Yeah.
- 29:48Speaker 5: And I feel like we.
- 29:49Speaker 4: People like oh George Pickens because he does say funny
- 29:51Speaker 4: things about not knowing ties existed, for example, But ultimately
- 29:55Speaker 4: Jake Ferguson is helping them get from first down to
- 29:58Speaker 4: another first down without having to wait another whole possession.
- 30:01Speaker 5: So you know, I think.
- 30:03Speaker 4: Dak, who leads the league in passing yards, would also agree.
- 30:06Speaker 5: He's pretty happy with this tight end.
- 30:07Speaker 2: Yeah, we'll move.
- 30:08Speaker 3: From the Cowboys over to their division opponent, the Giants.
- 30:12Speaker 3: Jackson Dark shot the world in his debut performance last week.
- 30:17Speaker 3: Making you hear is for Jackson Guard, who makes his
- 30:20Speaker 3: first NFL start to Giant run.
- 30:23Speaker 9: Uptimy goes to the take the cup, puts down Giants.
- 30:26Speaker 2: Jack sit guy bet a quarterback run from fifteen.
- 30:29Speaker 7: Knocks out and it's smart start against the Giants.
- 30:32Speaker 3: The league little shovel past the Focazi makes the catch
- 30:35Speaker 3: ten of the NZL putsdown Giants, and the Giants have
- 30:39Speaker 3: won for the first time this year.
- 30:41Speaker 7: At jackson Guards first ever start, a big pre much.
- 30:46Speaker 2: He already had Homeschans prepared. Darton the g Men going
- 30:48Speaker 2: to New Orleans. Greg is taking the Giants in this one.
- 30:51Speaker 3: But I will roll with the Saints twenty three to
- 30:54Speaker 3: twenty one because while the Giants consistently dominated up front
- 30:57Speaker 3: against the banged up Chargers unit, when players got free
- 31:01Speaker 3: in the secondary, they did what players have done against
- 31:04Speaker 3: the Giants since last year, get big plays. It was
- 31:07Speaker 3: a consistent thing for the Giants, and I think there's
- 31:10Speaker 3: an opportunity for Spencer Rattler and the Saints at home,
- 31:15Speaker 3: and not just Rattler, Juan Johnson, but especially Rashid Shahid.
- 31:18Speaker 2: Like looking back.
- 31:20Speaker 3: At that Omari and Hampton long run, the Quentin Johnston play.
- 31:24Speaker 2: There's so many plays throughout this season.
- 31:26Speaker 3: Where the Giants secondary has been watching somebody run and
- 31:29Speaker 3: chasing them from behind, and I think the Saints may
- 31:32Speaker 3: be able to get those big plays and get a
- 31:34Speaker 3: big win at home.
- 31:34Speaker 4: Drew Philips is confusing. Sometimes he's good. Sometimes it's it's
- 31:37Speaker 4: very confusing. Anyways, I do have New Orleans, but just
- 31:40Speaker 4: by one point twenty two to twenty one.
- 31:43Speaker 5: I do want to give a little love too. It's
- 31:45Speaker 5: a just criggd.
- 31:47Speaker 2: Greg loves New York.
- 31:48Speaker 5: He loves good Apple.
- 31:49Speaker 2: When he comes back, we should.
- 31:50Speaker 5: We should definitely do that for Rim.
- 31:52Speaker 4: But I'm looking at what Dexter Lawrence was able to
- 31:55Speaker 4: do up front. Now, listen, this one was just a
- 31:57Speaker 4: little bit more fun because it doesn't always happen when
- 31:59Speaker 4: a big guy does something like this.
- 32:02Speaker 5: What is it?
- 32:02Speaker 2: Oh?
- 32:03Speaker 4: Yeah, he intercepted the football and when asked about that
- 32:06Speaker 4: run after and why he didn't end up going to
- 32:08Speaker 4: the the end zone, he said he was hired. And
- 32:11Speaker 4: you know what, I don't blame him. That is a
- 32:14Speaker 4: chunky man. That is a chunky play. Wouldn't you say that?
- 32:16Speaker 2: All?
- 32:16Speaker 3: Yes, in the soup aisle, there's an option for Dexter
- 32:20Speaker 3: Lawrence and that's a big.
- 32:21Speaker 5: Man, but big man chunky play.
- 32:24Speaker 3: Justin Herbert, just a little bit faster than sexy Dexies.
- 32:28Speaker 3: Here are the highest wind totals according to our friends
- 32:31Speaker 3: and Caesar Sports Books. The Buffalo Bills leading the way,
- 32:33Speaker 3: a game ahead of the Eagles, who are a game
- 32:36Speaker 3: ahead of the Lions and Rams, the Packers one game
- 32:38Speaker 3: behind them, the Chiefs and the Chargers, forty nine Ers
- 32:41Speaker 3: and Buccaneers all sitting there at ten and a half
- 32:45Speaker 3: and with us at this point about a quarter or what,
- 32:48Speaker 3: you know, the number of games you're gonna have to
- 32:50Speaker 3: get into the decimals.
- 32:51Speaker 2: There, so there's no clear quarter point through the regular season.
- 32:54Speaker 3: We're about there. So let's talk some win totals. We'll
- 32:56Speaker 3: get the fingers out. I we'll start with the undefeated Bills, Cynthia.
- 33:00Speaker 2: They are four and zero. They end up with more
- 33:02Speaker 2: or less than that thirteen and a half number. That's
- 33:05Speaker 2: a lot of wins.
- 33:06Speaker 5: That's a lot of wins. I went through their schedule,
- 33:08Speaker 5: I double checked it.
- 33:09Speaker 4: I'm usually a very conservative modeler, very and it's very
- 33:15Speaker 4: hard for me to not have them with more than
- 33:17Speaker 4: thirteen and a half wins, barring, of course, something unforeseen,
- 33:20Speaker 4: but other than that, as they are right now, even
- 33:23Speaker 4: with their defense the way it is, it ends up
- 33:25Speaker 4: at like thirteen point seven, which is more than thirteen
- 33:27Speaker 4: point five.
- 33:28Speaker 2: Yeah, it's more.
- 33:30Speaker 3: It's more, and that's all there is more, you know,
- 33:32Speaker 3: one anymore, any little bit is more an infinite testimon number.
- 33:36Speaker 3: Flipping over to the only other four and zero team,
- 33:39Speaker 3: the Eagles over under twelve and a half wins with
- 33:42Speaker 3: the team in disarray, Yeah, disarray four to no, even
- 33:47Speaker 3: though the conversation about them will feel like they're falling apart.
- 33:50Speaker 3: I've got the Eagles hitting that number and going north
- 33:53Speaker 3: of it. They've got the Giants swice and the Bears
- 33:55Speaker 3: and the Raiders remanding on the schedule.
- 33:56Speaker 2: They split with the Commanders, they beat the Cowboys. That
- 33:59Speaker 2: pretty much almost gets them there.
- 34:01Speaker 3: So yeah, I've got the Eagles surviving their horror four
- 34:04Speaker 3: and oh start to get north at twelve and a
- 34:06Speaker 3: half one.
- 34:06Speaker 5: I'm gonna be honest, I think this is the way
- 34:08Speaker 5: Eagles fans like it.
- 34:09Speaker 4: They like being a little unhappy. I have a lot
- 34:12Speaker 4: of Eagles fan friends, and I love them very much,
- 34:14Speaker 4: but they would be lost without complaining about something about
- 34:17Speaker 4: the Eagles.
- 34:17Speaker 3: They want to They want to be like that coach
- 34:19Speaker 3: that has a big win but something goes wrong. Now
- 34:23Speaker 3: team the Steelers are on a buy so they can't
- 34:25Speaker 3: lose this week. They're on top of the AFC North
- 34:27Speaker 3: at three.
- 34:28Speaker 2: And one, more or less than eight and a half wins.
- 34:31Speaker 4: Fans, I'm not gonna be Look, I'm just gonna get
- 34:33Speaker 4: based on math, and it comes up as eight point four.
- 34:36Speaker 4: There are some asterix for some question marks here, not
- 34:39Speaker 4: the least of which include injuries to their defense. Yes,
- 34:43Speaker 4: they won a game that I didn't expect them to
- 34:45Speaker 4: against the Vikings in terms of how the model works out, but.
- 34:48Speaker 5: Remember every remaining.
- 34:49Speaker 4: Game isn't necessarily a fifty to fifty split. So when
- 34:53Speaker 4: I'm looking at the opportunities here, perhaps a few more
- 34:56Speaker 4: deep passes would shift that to eight point seven wins
- 35:00Speaker 4: eight point eight, but we haven't seen it yet, so
- 35:02Speaker 4: right now it's eight point four.
- 35:04Speaker 3: Pocklingly, the Houston Texans took until Week four to get
- 35:07Speaker 3: their first win of the season.
- 35:08Speaker 2: Last week. They're over under a six and a half wins,
- 35:11Speaker 2: and I.
- 35:12Speaker 3: Actually have them going under here, as the Titans are
- 35:16Speaker 3: the only reprieve in the division at the moment. For
- 35:19Speaker 3: the Houston Texans, the rest of the schedule includes games
- 35:22Speaker 3: in Seattle, Los Angeles, and KC. I think they get
- 35:26Speaker 3: to six, but Cynthia that that half the little hook
- 35:30Speaker 3: begins to be a problem, and I start to worry.
- 35:32Speaker 3: There in a rough season for the Houston Texans thus far,
- 35:35Speaker 3: I think it continues.
- 35:37Speaker 5: Sometimes you maybe need an old line that works. Yeah,
- 35:40Speaker 5: maybe invest in your own line.
- 35:42Speaker 3: Laramie Tunzel's having a lot of success in our nation's capital.
- 35:45Speaker 2: Time for quick picks here on game debut. Speaking of
- 35:47Speaker 2: the Texans.
- 35:48Speaker 3: They got the Ravens on Sunday. Lamar Jackson probably out
- 35:51Speaker 3: with a hamstring troth.
- 35:53Speaker 5: Now hold on, eh, well, we'll.
- 35:55Speaker 3: Cooper Rush save the season, at least save this week.
- 35:59Speaker 4: Cooper Rush is a winner, man, look it up. Baltimore
- 36:02Speaker 4: wins twenty three through twenty one. I like Kooper Rush,
- 36:05Speaker 4: but I want to talk about Dereck Henry because he's
- 36:06Speaker 4: really the catalyst for this. There are so many pieces
- 36:09Speaker 4: of this Ravens offense that are banged up, but one
- 36:12Speaker 4: thing I can tell you about Dereck Henry outside runs,
- 36:15Speaker 4: especially because that is a very vulnerable point of this
- 36:19Speaker 4: Texans defense. This is going to be where that big
- 36:23Speaker 4: you know you Always in my head, I close my
- 36:25Speaker 4: eyes and think of Dereck Henry, just his perfect posture,
- 36:28Speaker 4: running really really fast into the end zone along the
- 36:30Speaker 4: you know, just along, not in the middle like we're seeing,
- 36:32Speaker 4: but over on the edge. That is what he does,
- 36:34Speaker 4: and that is where the Texans are vulnerable. So as
- 36:37Speaker 4: banged up as are, the Ravens can still figure this
- 36:40Speaker 4: one out.
- 36:41Speaker 5: Per my math. Two points.
- 36:42Speaker 3: Yeah, just to ultimately keep it very simple because with Lamar,
- 36:46Speaker 3: obviously they're one of the more explosive offenses in the NFL,
- 36:49Speaker 3: but they sometimes try to do a little too much
- 36:51Speaker 3: and the offensive line can get lost, especially Pololio over
- 36:54Speaker 3: there at Gardens.
- 36:55Speaker 5: We have to do the thing ready, Yes.
- 36:57Speaker 3: Greg, Greg has taken the Houston Texans here, but we
- 37:02Speaker 3: are both taking the Baltimore Ravens.
- 37:03Speaker 2: The Raiders and the.
- 37:04Speaker 3: Colts both squads with devastating losses in Week four. But
- 37:08Speaker 3: I think the Colts bounced back here and win at
- 37:10Speaker 3: twenty four to nineteen, and their rookie phenom gets an
- 37:13Speaker 3: opportunity to be displayed once again because Tyler Warrens leads
- 37:17Speaker 3: old tight ends and the entire NFL in receiving yards,
- 37:21Speaker 3: and not just that, his two hundred and sixty three
- 37:23Speaker 3: yards the most in NFL history for a tight end
- 37:27Speaker 3: through four games. Like Rock Bouers, maybe watch out, it
- 37:31Speaker 3: might happen again the year after you.
- 37:34Speaker 4: Did it after waiting like twenty five years to do
- 37:37Speaker 4: it the first time.
- 37:37Speaker 5: I mean, I'm with you completely.
- 37:39Speaker 4: Also, like somewhat strange that Xavi and Howard just retired
- 37:43Speaker 4: on Wednesday of this week, so perhaps a Trey Tucker
- 37:46Speaker 4: fun If you are looking for an injury replacement in
- 37:48Speaker 4: fantasy football, perhaps you could suggest that because there aren't
- 37:51Speaker 4: a lot of options here with only fourteen games, and
- 37:53Speaker 4: if you somehow miss Thursday or the early game, maybe
- 37:55Speaker 4: Trey Tucker touchdown. Trying to be positive here for Raiders
- 37:57Speaker 4: fans drue.
- 37:58Speaker 3: Because the significant fall off between Trey Tucker's Week three
- 38:02Speaker 3: fantasy performance and Week four was significant.
- 38:05Speaker 2: Maybe it's like a trend up down, up, down, back up.
- 38:07Speaker 3: This week when we come back here, it's time to
- 38:10Speaker 3: get your pen and paper.
- 38:12Speaker 2: Write this down is on the way.
- 38:14Speaker 3: Cynthia and I went four and oh last week your
- 38:17Speaker 3: favorite crops For Week five, we are on fire.
- 38:21Speaker 2: Boom Shaka Laca, shout out to NBA JAM for those
- 38:24Speaker 2: who remember it. More game debut.
- 38:26Speaker 6: Is coming up next.
- 38:35Speaker 3: Snooze off game on Sunday Morning Football Continues in London,
- 38:38Speaker 3: presented by NetApp Justin Jefferson and the Vikings.
- 38:41Speaker 2: Versus Miles Garrett and the Browns.
- 38:43Speaker 3: Sunday, nine thirty am Eastern only on NFL Network, Also.
- 38:46Speaker 2: Streaming with NFL Plus and scripts required.
- 38:49Speaker 3: For NFL Plus, visit plus NFL dot com for terms
- 38:54Speaker 3: it's sign for write this down as I am getting
- 38:57Speaker 3: my pen and paper ready because we have player predictions
- 39:00Speaker 3: and props for week five.
- 39:02Speaker 2: We were flawless last Week's.
- 39:04Speaker 3: No pressure for us this week, so why don't you
- 39:07Speaker 3: start us off here?
- 39:08Speaker 4: So he's write down the name David Montgomery to score
- 39:11Speaker 4: a touchdown.
- 39:13Speaker 5: The Lions are playing the Bengals. He is from the
- 39:15Speaker 5: Cincinnati area.
- 39:16Speaker 4: I believe this is his first time playing in Cincinnati.
- 39:19Speaker 5: This will be a special one for him.
- 39:21Speaker 4: His sister Kiki was unfortunately paralyzed in an accident, believe
- 39:24Speaker 4: earlier maybe February of this year, and he will be
- 39:27Speaker 4: playing for her in this matchup.
- 39:30Speaker 5: As if this man needs to be any.
- 39:32Speaker 4: More motivated, you see it the way he runs, you
- 39:34Speaker 4: see it in his work ethic. But I think that
- 39:36Speaker 4: will be a very special effort for him, and I
- 39:38Speaker 4: believe that this is the kind of Lions team that
- 39:40Speaker 4: will find a special touchdown for him, so he can
- 39:43Speaker 4: do whatever whatever their sign is, We'll know what it is.
- 39:46Speaker 5: Yeah, some fun dance or whatever it is.
- 39:48Speaker 3: If we had to have a team that will rally
- 39:50Speaker 3: around somebody in that circumstance, it's definitely edition of the
- 39:54Speaker 3: Detroit Lions, who look a lot better as the season
- 39:57Speaker 3: has gone on with Morton calling the plays. And I'm confident,
- 40:01Speaker 3: in fact, I've never been more confident that a team
- 40:03Speaker 3: is going to score fifty points. I have got you
- 40:06Speaker 3: to write this down to the Lions minus ten and
- 40:08Speaker 3: a half. They will clear that because again, they are
- 40:11Speaker 3: going to score fifty points against the Cincinnati Bengals defense.
- 40:15Speaker 3: They've come close, not necessarily trying, in previous weeks, and
- 40:19Speaker 3: we've seen amon Ra Saint Brown. They scored Jared Goff
- 40:23Speaker 3: through Amorra touchdown. They already had thirty six points and
- 40:26Speaker 3: they both jumped into the stands. Forty five points. They're
- 40:31Speaker 3: in the stands celebrating. They won't do that because they're
- 40:33Speaker 3: in Cincinnati. But I think they'll have plenty of touchdowns
- 40:36Speaker 3: to score.
- 40:37Speaker 5: So, I mean, they seem to be having a lot
- 40:38Speaker 5: of funs.
- 40:39Speaker 4: Yo, I'm into it. I'm into it all right. My
- 40:41Speaker 4: next one right down. This one's a little bit more risky.
- 40:44Speaker 4: But Ashton genty to score a touchdown. He had three
- 40:48Speaker 4: last week. I'm not projecting three. I'm just saying once here.
- 40:51Speaker 5: Why because I think that they figured out.
- 40:53Speaker 4: His stance when you look at how he lined up
- 40:55Speaker 4: his actual physical body stance in college. They tried to
- 40:59Speaker 4: change it. It was not working. Do you know what
- 41:01Speaker 4: they did? They changed it back the thing that makes
- 41:05Speaker 4: you work, you know, make sure that it ends up
- 41:08Speaker 4: doing something that you know works.
- 41:09Speaker 5: For God forbid, you know, we have our.
- 41:11Speaker 4: Boss do something that enhances what we are already so
- 41:14Speaker 4: good at. So I believe this will end up in
- 41:16Speaker 4: pay dirt dividends this weekend.
- 41:18Speaker 3: Yeah, good on Pete Carroll for going over to his
- 41:21Speaker 3: running back and offensive quarter.
- 41:22Speaker 5: Saying, you know what, if you don't.
- 41:23Speaker 3: Like to do it that way, Yeah, if it ain't broke,
- 41:26Speaker 3: don't try to fix it. I am taking an opportunity
- 41:30Speaker 3: to take advantage of the Giants defense giving up big
- 41:33Speaker 3: plays and looking at the guy who makes big plays
- 41:35Speaker 3: for the New Orleans Saints. I think Rashid Shahid will
- 41:37Speaker 3: have over thirty nine receiving arts against the Giants, and
- 41:40Speaker 3: if I had to take a pick, I would say
- 41:43Speaker 3: it might.
- 41:43Speaker 2: Happen on one play.
- 41:45Speaker 3: One of the more explosive players in the NFL, and
- 41:48Speaker 3: we haven't seen him celebrating in the end zone quite
- 41:51Speaker 3: some time, So yeah, I'll also say he's due and
- 41:53Speaker 3: I noticed I wrote down two running backs here.
- 41:56Speaker 2: Cynthia going with the running.
- 41:57Speaker 5: Back Yeah, I'm going with the running back team.
- 41:59Speaker 3: We'll be running our show back with Greg Rosenthal in
- 42:01Speaker 3: studio next week for Cynthia Freeland. I'm Patrick Claibon. Thanks,
- 42:04Speaker 3: want to game debut, See you next week.
