  Right, that's the plan that I have in my mind. A man with

  a bout you. When you have something so incredibly important in your hands,

  what do you do? Right? You cherish it, you protect it,

  you guard it, you guide it a man, and you give it all

  that you have, and then trust in God to do the rest. Whatever

  But after you do what you do right, and after you go and you

  go to your source, which is the scripture, the Bible, people will

  always ask you, but is it true? But is it true? But

  is it true? Sam? Is it true? Is it true? Is

  the Bible reliable? Is God real? Amen? And to me those are

  legitimate questions. I used to ask them, What about you? I used

  to ask, if God is real, why is this happening? And why
• 1:38
  is that happening? Right? And people are still asking those questions. And
• 1:42
  to me, they're legit questions. They deserve answers, right, And sometimes
• 1:49
  God will answer, I say, Sometimes God is not obey This is what
• 1:52
  I learned. God is not obligated to answer any one of our questions.

  But He loves us so much that he would give us relation and the reality
• 2:01
  through his Scripture, through his word, through his profits, through people that
• 2:06
  he sends in our direction. Amen. And he would answer according to his

  purpose and plan for your life and for my life individually and corporately as well.

  So today we're calling this morning devote But is it true? How do

  we know the Bible is God's word? Like? Literally? How do we

  know that. How do we know that. Are we just having faith that
• 2:30
  the Bible is true without even investigating the claims of the scriptures. Are we

  just listening to other people? Like, are you just listening to me and
• 2:39
  taking my word for it? Or you're going to the scriptures for yourself for
• 2:43
  evidence? You're going to people outside the scripture for evidence. Amen. You're
• 2:46
  looking at how the archaeologists are finding things that are going with the scriptures,
• 2:53
  not against but with the scriptures. Right. You see creation every day,
• 2:57
  So you gotta think, man, who create all this? A man?

  If you're into the big bank theory, Amen, that's all on you.

  But I just know who banged Who banged it? Amen? The big bang?

  It was the God of heaven and earth, the creator God. Amen.

  Because everything had to come in existence at once, not all on explosion.

  that. But God's good? How do we know that the Bible is God's

  doesn't just contain the word of God. The Bible is the word of God.

  Once you get that perspective, you'd be like, Okay, let me

  see what's in this Bible. Let me see what's in this word for myself.

  And I'm real, real pointed out on that want everybody to look into

  The scripture is not gonna hurt you a man, and scriptures are there to

  help you live this life and the life and abundance that Jesus promised us.

  bit more of the John chapter seventeen scriptures. Amen. So let's do this.

  God who redeems and restores, a God who is real. A lot of

  people don't believe it because they rather look at the circumstances. They rather look

  at their life and say, this is it. This is all I have.

  When I die, it's over. We have a hope, right,

  your providence, and your scripture and your word and your promises, all

  of it fall into play as we are your children. So I speak life,

  Lord God, I speak Love God, the truth that you allow me

  to speak. According to your word. I repeat the truth when I read

  the truth, and your word is true. Thank you, Love God for

  allowing us to do and to be. Thank you, Lok God for allowing

  us to come together. Love God and guiding and guarding and protecting us.

  Thank you, Lord God for health to the body, strength to the bones.

  And Jesus' name over every single person in my household and my family in

  of this might. I pray peace, be still, and know that God

  is real, and know that God is with him and God's with us.

  the world, throughout the nations, and that one day every need will bow

  when he comes and cracks and open, sky is open, that is

  gonna be so beautiful. Yeah, it's gonna beautiful. It's gonna be beautiful

  to us, but it's gonna be horrible for those who rejected him now because
• 10:48
  I know for sure, if you don't want God now, you're not gonna
• 10:52
  want God in all eternity, right. So God doesn't force you to believe
• 10:56
  in him. What God does, he offers his love and his raised,
• 11:00
  his mercy to every single person who's willing to listen to the gospel, who's
• 11:03
  willing to look at his words, look for truth. Anybody who's seeking truth,
• 11:09
  right, they're gonna find the Lord. God is the truth. Jesus
• 11:13
  is the truth, Amen, the way in the life. So it's exciting
• 11:16
  for believers. And that's why we're always saying Jesus is coming back, because
• 11:20
  we're just counting on his promise and people are making fun of us and saying,
• 11:24
  ah, you Christian's been saying that the lawyer has been coming back for
• 11:28
  so many years, and they don't realize that a thousand years to the lawyers
• 11:33
  like a day, Amen, because he sits outside of time. He's not
• 11:35
  looking at our Grigorian calendar or a lunar calendar or even the Hebrew calendar.
• 11:41
  He sits outside of time. Amen. So when he comes, it's going
• 11:46
  to be at the perfect time, and we're gonna all see him at once,
• 11:50
  the Bible says, and we all going to see his glory, majesty's
• 11:56
  power. But for those who rejected him until that day, they're not gonna
• 12:01
  want God. God's not coming to force them at that very day either to
• 12:07
  believe in them. But God, officers salvation. Today is the day of
• 12:09
  salvation, Amen. So take it. Take advantage of the time that we

  have to right now and give God glory, honor, worship, and praise

  because one day you're gonna do it. Anyway, everythings what the Word says.

  I'm just repeating what the word says. So let's go for it.

  But is it true? John seventeen and seventeen. Amen, Let me just

  hide this cursor because that'll be too distracted. Amen. Let's see the scripture.

  Remember, I'm gonna be a little bit more than just seventeen seventeen.

  Amen. So in John seventeen seventeen, it says, sanctify them in the
• 12:50
  truth. Your word is truth. Let's read. I believe I did take
• 12:56
  this out of the amplify it. Sanctify them in the truth. Set them
• 13:01
  apart for your purposes. So when you hear the word sanctify, that means
• 13:07
  that God is setting us apart for his purposes. Make them holy. You're
• 13:16
  holy. Yeah I am. You're perfect. Yeah I am in Christ.

  I'm perfect. In Christ, You're perfect. So be careful when somebody says
• 13:28
  far from perfect, you're saying you're far from God. Right. I know
• 13:33
  it's a you know, play on words sometimes, And I know I'm not
• 13:37
  perfect when it comes to my experiencing on the earth and my you know,
• 13:41
  my flesh. But in Christ I'm perfect, and in Christ You're perfect.
• 13:46
  Set them apart for your purpose purposes. Make them holy. Your word is
• 13:52
  truth. Just as You commissioned and sent me into the world, I also
• 13:58
  have come missioned and sent them believers into the world. Jesus was sent,
• 14:07
  the Father, sent the Son, and the Son commissioned us to go.
• 14:13
  So we're commissioned, and we're sent. We're believers right into this world for
• 14:18
  their sake, sanctified myself to do your will, so that they also may
• 14:24
  be sanctified, set apart, dedicated, made holy right in your truth.

  Quote. I do not pray for these alone. It is not for their
• 14:37
  sake only that I make this request, but also for all those who will
• 14:45
  ever believe and trust in me through their message, that they all may be
• 14:52
  one, just as You, Father are in me and I in You,
• 14:58
  that they are also may be one in us. Be that so that the
• 15:05
  world may believe without any doubt that you sent me. So here we have
• 15:13
  a powerful scripture. All the Word of God is powerful. Focusing on the
• 15:18
  scriptures that you need today is powerful. And I believe, once we know
• 15:24
  these scriptures to be true, we know that the whole Bible is true.

  We know the whole Word of God is true. In the beginning, God
• 15:31
  created the heavens and the earth. If you could believe that, you have
• 15:33
  no problem believing in a resurrected life and a resurrected person and God Jesus coming
• 15:41
  back to life from the dead, you have no problem with creation. You
• 15:43
  have no problem with people having eternal life. You have no problem with the
• 15:50
  promises of God. Because if you believe the one part and then the prophecies
• 15:54
  that's all in the scriptures that actually come to pass perfectly, you will have
• 16:00
  no problem believing that this is true, this word is true. Amen,
• 16:06
  you will have no problem. But you have to go and investigate for yourself.

  Investigate the Word of God for yourself, the claims of Jesus. Look
• 16:14
  at what the prophets say and the Old Covenant. Look at what went on
• 16:18
  from Genesis to Revelation. Look at the Old Covenant, look at the New
• 16:22
  Covenant, look at the Law of Moses, and look at the Law of
• 16:25
  the Lord. Amen, and you have it all right there. We have
• 16:29
  access to the scriptures. Can you believe that? And now it's free.

  Just download the Bible app and now you have a whole bunch of different translations,
• 16:38
  Bible study tools. You have everything at your disposal. Use it.

  Don't be what I call a lazy Christian that you just rely on the teachings
• 16:49
  of others and you never go to the Word yourself. That's like having a
• 16:55
  relationship with someone but you never see them the man. You want to see
• 16:59
  God, you go to see Him through his word. Amen. I'm just

  Morning Devo. So how do we know if we can trust the Bible.

  Well, one of the ways I trust the Bible and I know I could
• 17:40
  trust the Bible is testing the word of God for myself, Amen, and
• 17:47
  looking at everything the Word says that I could see and test it myself.

  Why wouldn't you want to test this word that claims to be eternal, this
• 17:56
  word that claims to be the written word of God. A man the Bible,
• 18:00
  like I say, not a book that contains the word of God.
• 18:04
  The Bible for what we know it is is the word of God. So
• 18:08
  if there's errors, like people say, and I have yet for someone to
• 18:12
  show me what other than grammatical things like something that's supposed to be singular and
• 18:18
  it is plural. Remember if you're if you're if you speak English, we
• 18:22
  are translating. We are reading a translation of a Hebrew Bible Old Covenant that
• 18:30
  was you know, written in Hebrew and Arab made some parts, and then
• 18:33
  the New Testament is written in Greek coin a Greek and we're reading it in
• 18:40
  English. So if you know anything about translators, certain words that are supposed
• 18:47
  to be translated are not translatable a man. So we take a guess at
• 18:51
  it happens all the time in my church. Some words in Spanish either don't
• 18:56
  sound right in English, or vice versus some word words in English as to
• 19:00
  sound right in Spanish. So somebody sometimes you just have to repeat or use
• 19:04
  your best guests to say the word. And I think that's what happens with
• 19:10
  the translation of the scriptures. We don't know the original Amen, We're not
• 19:15
  gonna know how to translate right the scriptures properly. So I believe what we
• 19:22
  have in the English version of the Scriptures. I believe it's enough. Amen,

  It's good enough for us to get into a relationship with the eternal God
• 19:32
  of heaven and Earth through the Lord Jesus Christ. Good morning, Good morning,

  was a real Santa Clause too? Because God is true? Where did the

  Bibles and that come from? If God was not okay, if God was

  not real, God is real. I just had this to ask you because

  it's on my mind. It was Santa Claus. I believe historically there was
• 20:04
  a man that was alive that did good around Christmas time, or traditions say
• 20:15
  or talk about a man. But Santa Claus as being the man in the
• 20:21
  red suit and you know, flying through the sky with reindeer and all that.

  That's a made up story, but it has some origin and a true
• 20:29
  person that lived. And then it was adopted right by people and they changed
• 20:37
  the story to make it more exciting. Just like I was saying the other
• 20:40
  day, when you read the scriptures, you don't have to really add to
• 20:42
  it. A man. Let's take what we have and run with it.

  But sometimes people in life, they will take a story or they'll take a
• 20:52
  man or woman in history and then just add to it make this person like
• 20:57
  supernatural or super human. Amen, so like that. So the Bible is

  real, and Santa Claus, the way Santa Claus is depicted in America is
• 21:10
  flying through the sky and dropping down Chimney's and all that. That's not a
• 21:15
  reality. That's a made up thing that's so popular that we have to sometimes
• 21:21
  look at our kids when they're young and give them the truth and say,
• 21:23
  naw, that's not real. We're the ones buying you the Christmas gifts,
• 21:27
  right. But then it's hard because then they go to you know, a
• 21:32
  big department stores and they see this man dressed up and red with a hat
• 21:37
  and talking and saying ho ho and all that stuff. Traditions sometimes becomes so
• 21:42
  popular that people think they're true. So thank you for the question. I

  don't know too much about it, but I do know that if you look
• 21:49
  up on the origin of where Christmas and Santa Claus comes from, there's a
• 21:55
  real person that they took and they just ran with the story and made it
• 21:59
  more or super real than what it is. Reading it for myself. Amen,

  read the scriptures we study to show ourselves approve rightly dividing the word of
• 22:11
  God and then perss Santa Claus is worldly wisdom. Yeah, made a story.

  I mean, listen, I watched Marvel, you know, the superheroes,

  you know, Hulk and the Avengers and the X Men and all those
• 22:26
  characters in DC comics with Akaman, Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, you
• 22:30
  know, and I don't go to the movie saying is this real? Like
• 22:34
  when a Black Panther came out, there were some people who thought what Conda
• 22:41
  was in real place. I mean, it is what it is. People
• 22:44
  are gonna take what seems to be right in their own understanding and they're gonna
• 22:48
  run with it. And if anybody says that's not true, they're just without
• 22:52
  evidence, right, without stuff being credible. They're just gonna run with it.

  Believers, we don't have to be just running with something that we believe
• 23:00
  to be true. We could go to the scriptures that claims to be truth
• 23:04
  and look at it for ourselves and make the decision for yourself. Is the
• 23:08
  scriptures reliable? Is the Bible relevant? Amen? Is Jesus lying or is
• 23:12
  he telling the truth. Is God real or not? Well, we could
• 23:15
  make those decisions. I'm just saying that God is real, regardless if I
• 23:19
  believe in him or not. Amen, I'm at that point right. Whether
• 23:23
  or not I would have received the Lord Jesus as my personal Lord's savior or
• 23:27
  not does not necessarily mean anything. If I say something is true and it
• 23:33
  is false, and you say something is false, but it's true, the
• 23:36
  truth will always always overcome a lie. Truth will always set your free.
• 23:41
  And in the truth of God's word is love right, and love overcomes a
• 23:47
  multitude of sins, a multitude of disappointments, Amen, And truth will always
• 23:52
  stand by self. Sanctify us, Sanctify me God right, set me apart
• 23:56
  for the purposes of God. Sanctify our friends, family for the purposes of
• 24:00
  God. Right. That's a great prayer. And John seventeen it contains the
• 24:06
  prayer that the Lord Jesus himself was praying to the Father about us, about
• 24:11
  him and his relationship with the Father, and about us and our relationship with
• 24:15
  him. All right, And it's just a beautiful thing. But we see
• 24:19
  in John seventeen seventeen, sanctify them in the truth, because why your word
• 24:26
  is truth, Amen, not just true, but truth truth. The Holy
• 24:33
  Spirit helps us with understanding God's word and will for our lives. God's God's
• 24:40
  word and will fall life. And you can't separate them if you think about
• 24:42
  it. God's word is his will. God's will is his word. Can't
• 24:48
  separate it really if we really think about it. Amen, Let's see what

  tell us to go where commissioned, like the scripture said, we read it,

  we're commissioned to go and preach the God gospel, right, But we're

  not necessarily commissioned to try to convince someone that God is real. That's the
• 26:07
  work of the Holy Spirit. So don't put a lot of pressure on yourself.

  When people reject us and our message, they're not really rejecting us and
• 26:15
  our message. They're rejecting God and his message, which is the gospel.

  Right. The world, especially on the Internet, is full of people who
• 26:22
  claim that Christians believe in a story book rather than a holy book. Oh
• 26:29
  you believe in a book that was written by men? My goodness, What
• 26:33
  book have you or I ever read that was not written by a man or
• 26:37
  woman? Why is that a standing point for a lot of people? Oh,
• 26:41
  you read a book that's made by man, written by man? Well
• 26:47
  who else? If I would have told you the aliens wrote them scriptures?
• 26:49
  Would you believe me more? Now? Of course it was written by men.

  Men inspired, carried along by way of Holy Spirit. So that's not
• 26:59
  even a sticky part. I don't know White people think they God, I

  got you. The Bible is written by man, so how could you believe

  that? Well, every book you read is written by a human beings too.

  So Christians counter secular arguments with the truth for the Scripture. They often

  aren't taken seriously by skeptics, right by atheists and sometimes even people who claim

  to be Christians. A lot of people don't take the scriptures for what the
