- 3:37Speaker 1: with you guys, and hopes that you would get involved
- 3:40Speaker 1: in the things that we have going on here with
- 3:44Speaker 1: Aspiring Authors, Magazine, South Carolina Book Gal and of course
- 3:52Speaker 1: AA L A C. Which is the African American author
- 3:55Speaker 1: Literacy Awareness campaign. Every opportunity I get, I like to
- 4:01Speaker 1: bring it before the people and share it with those
- 4:05Speaker 1: that support the things that I do. So today I
- 4:09Speaker 1: just wanted to come on and share with you guys
- 4:12Speaker 1: and let you guys know of opportunities that we have
- 4:16Speaker 1: up before you. For those that may not know who
- 4:20Speaker 1: I am, I am Angela Thomas Smith. I am the
- 4:25Speaker 1: visionary of Aspiring Authors Magazine A A L A C.
- 4:31Speaker 1: The Crew podcast, and I am the host of Walking
- 4:36Speaker 1: in Purpose with Angela over on the w b N
- 4:40Speaker 1: And these four of the platforms that I am a
- 4:44Speaker 1: part of. Of course, you can find me across most
- 4:48Speaker 1: social media platforms. I am usually over on TikTok. I
- 4:55Speaker 1: post a lot, I post a lot of content, I
- 4:59Speaker 1: sit and watch a few panels. I'm behind the scenes
- 5:02Speaker 1: a lot on all of the platforms that I am
- 5:05Speaker 1: a part of. Sometime you may see me up on
- 5:08Speaker 1: a couple of panels as we are The Change on
- 5:12Speaker 1: which is our podcast Mato and that is our name
- 5:18Speaker 1: over on TikTok, one of our names over on TikTok.
- 5:23Speaker 1: So if you're not following us, please make sure that
- 5:26Speaker 1: you're following us. Y'all, we're on most all social media platforms.
- 5:31Speaker 1: I want you guys to really get involved in some
- 5:34Speaker 1: of the things that we are doing. For those that
- 5:37Speaker 1: really don't know who I am, I am effectually known
- 5:42Speaker 1: as the Queen of Collaboration across these social media platforms.
- 5:48Speaker 1: If you Google me, you will find out that I
- 5:52Speaker 1: truly believe in collaborations. I truly believe in network, and
- 5:56Speaker 1: I believe in pushing those that are part of my
- 6:01Speaker 1: circle into their destiny. I believe that we all have
- 6:05Speaker 1: a gift and a talent that we didn't get dropped
- 6:07Speaker 1: out of the sky, but God strategically placed each and
- 6:10Speaker 1: every one of us here to be a vessel to
- 6:13Speaker 1: be used so that He may be glorified. So there
- 6:17Speaker 1: are things that He has placed within us that he
- 6:20Speaker 1: wants to come forth that will bring him glory, but
- 6:23Speaker 1: will work together for our good. He's given some of
- 6:26Speaker 1: us gifts of writing. He's given some of us gift
- 6:30Speaker 1: us spoken words, even being able to communicate, coaching, various
- 6:36Speaker 1: things that he has inputed within us that we may
- 6:40Speaker 1: be able to navigate throughout this world on this journey
- 6:45Speaker 1: that He has us on. Counted our joy, don't don't
- 6:49Speaker 1: think that it's an accident, it's a coincidence, it's a mistake.
- 6:54Speaker 1: Understand that wherever you are, you are right where you're
- 6:57Speaker 1: supposed to be. And know that it is not over.
- 7:01Speaker 1: No matter what it looked like in the natural, God
- 7:04Speaker 1: is still yet moving today. I just wanted to come
- 7:07Speaker 1: on and reach out to those that are looking to
- 7:12Speaker 1: stretch their brand, that's looking for outlets to promote their brands,
- 7:16Speaker 1: looking for avenues to be seen and heard just a
- 7:20Speaker 1: little more. We have some opportunities for you to share
- 7:25Speaker 1: your brand. If you are not familiar with a Spy
- 7:28Speaker 1: and Aufice magazine, y'all. May of twenty twenty seven, we
- 7:32Speaker 1: will be seven years old. We just celebrated our six
- 7:37Speaker 1: year anniversary and I get excited because we are a
- 7:44Speaker 1: magazine that is created by us for us. We touch
- 7:48Speaker 1: on topics that affect our black and brown community that
- 7:51Speaker 1: a lot of people don't like to talk about. Things
- 7:54Speaker 1: that they like to brush under the rub, things that
- 7:56Speaker 1: they like to keep hitting, things that they like to
- 8:00Speaker 1: to keep us in bondage with. So we share a
- 8:04Speaker 1: lot of those things that we can help educate, empower
- 8:09Speaker 1: and encourage our brothers and sisters to know that they
- 8:14Speaker 1: are kings and queens, to know that their voice matter,
- 8:17Speaker 1: that their story matter, that their their life matters, and
- 8:21Speaker 1: that they are important. We have to decide that we
- 8:25Speaker 1: want to create and leave a legacy, and it's important
- 8:28Speaker 1: that we're out here sharing and pouring into you know,
- 8:33Speaker 1: one thing that I do and and I live by
- 8:36Speaker 1: this motto, is I want to leave this world better
- 8:40Speaker 1: than it found me, meaning that I want to leave
- 8:44Speaker 1: contributions to this world when I'm gone, when when my
- 8:47Speaker 1: journey here on this side is over. I want people
- 8:50Speaker 1: to be able to remember some of the things that
- 8:53Speaker 1: I poured into this universe, some of the things that
- 8:56Speaker 1: I left for those that are coming behind me. You know,
- 9:00Speaker 1: we have ancestors and people that have come before us
- 9:04Speaker 1: that have left a blueprint, that have left their mark
- 9:07Speaker 1: in this world. Every day I strive to do that
- 9:11Speaker 1: same thing.
- 9:12Speaker 3: You know.
- 9:12Speaker 1: My goal for each day is I pray that God
- 9:16Speaker 1: will bless me that I may be able to be
- 9:18Speaker 1: a blessing to someone else. So my desire is to
- 9:23Speaker 1: be able to pour into somebody, to be able to
- 9:27Speaker 1: leave evidence of what God has given me and given
- 9:30Speaker 1: me charge over. You know, He's given me gifts and
- 9:34Speaker 1: talents in the area of writing books. I have been
- 9:38Speaker 1: fortunate enough God has given has allowed favor to be
- 9:42Speaker 1: upon me in writing books and producing books and getting
- 9:45Speaker 1: books out. I have over one hundred and eighty something
- 9:48Speaker 1: literary works on a journey to two hundred literary works
- 9:53Speaker 1: being available with my name on them. So I counted
- 9:57Speaker 1: our joy that God chose me and allow me to
- 10:01Speaker 1: be that vessel. Since he allowed me to be that vessel,
- 10:05Speaker 1: I have taken it another a step farther and allowing
- 10:09Speaker 1: him to use me to help others to walk into
- 10:13Speaker 1: that same destiny. Because we all have a story, we
- 10:17Speaker 1: all have something that we can be inputing into this world,
- 10:21Speaker 1: and we all have a way of doing it. Whether
- 10:25Speaker 1: it's through podcasting, through magazines, through billboards, through live events,
- 10:31Speaker 1: through books, journals, you name it. He's given us all
- 10:36Speaker 1: something that we can contribute to this world. I have
- 10:40Speaker 1: a couple of projects that is coming up that I
- 10:44Speaker 1: am looking for co authors. I am looking for individuals
- 10:47Speaker 1: that want to share that wants to be a part
- 10:49Speaker 1: of what we're doing. If you are an author and
- 10:53Speaker 1: you are looking for an opportunity to showcase your book
- 10:56Speaker 1: cover and to put your face out on a billboard. Y'all.
- 11:00Speaker 1: We do billboards every first and third Saturday of the
- 11:04Speaker 1: month and we highlight twelve individual authors. We do a slide.
- 11:12Speaker 1: I start doing videos so that I can allow your
- 11:15Speaker 1: face to pop up and your book cover to pop
- 11:18Speaker 1: up so people can see who these book covers belong
- 11:21Speaker 1: to as well. So you get an opportunity to do that,
- 11:26Speaker 1: and it's every hour on the hour. So say we
- 11:31Speaker 1: sign up and we get scheduled for the twelfth minute.
- 11:34Speaker 1: So every hour on the hour, at the twelfth minute,
- 11:37Speaker 1: we will pop up on that billboard in New York
- 11:40Speaker 1: Times Square and it would go from twelve twelve midnight
- 11:44Speaker 1: until eleven twelve that night, So you get a twenty
- 11:50Speaker 1: four hour rotation where it pops up and you are
- 11:53Speaker 1: in that big light. You're able to be seen. And y'all,
- 11:56Speaker 1: it's only fifty dollars to be a part of that.
- 11:59Speaker 1: And you get an opportunity to connect with the other
- 12:02Speaker 1: eleven authors. That's a part of that. You also get
- 12:06Speaker 1: a blog feature. You will also be featured on South
- 12:10Speaker 1: Carolina book gals on website as well as I create
- 12:15Speaker 1: a audio of your feature from substat and it's uploaded
- 12:21Speaker 1: to speaker dot com, which allows that audio to be
- 12:26Speaker 1: transmitted to iHeartRadio, Spotify, Amazon Music, all of those various platforms.
- 12:33Speaker 1: So it's just another opportunity where you can be heard
- 12:37Speaker 1: and seen just fifty dollars. Nowhere else you're gonna go
- 12:43Speaker 1: and get that amount of publicity for fifty dollars. I've
- 12:48Speaker 1: seen other people doing it, and it is nowhere close
- 12:51Speaker 1: to that. I've seen people range from one sixty seven
- 12:55Speaker 1: all the way up to nine hundred and ninety nine
- 12:57Speaker 1: dollars to be on the billboard. I'm not trying to
- 13:01Speaker 1: make anybody go broke to be seen. I want you
- 13:04Speaker 1: to have the same opportunity that it's being vetted me.
- 13:09Speaker 1: There's been so many times that I've asked individuals to
- 13:13Speaker 1: help me do this and to show me this and
- 13:15Speaker 1: to do this for me, and they want to double
- 13:18Speaker 1: charge me trip or charge me, overcharge me, or they're
- 13:22Speaker 1: willing to do it for me but not show me
- 13:24Speaker 1: how to do it. But that's not me. You won't
- 13:26Speaker 1: get that over here in this camp. Over here, in
- 13:28Speaker 1: this camp. One thing about me is I believe in
- 13:32Speaker 1: the Bible. I believe in biblical terminology, and I believe
- 13:36Speaker 1: in the Word. And one thing about the Word is
- 13:38Speaker 1: he told over there that there's a scripture over there
- 13:41Speaker 1: where he talks about the fish. And I believe that
- 13:46Speaker 1: if you teach a child how to fish, y'all, they'll
- 13:49Speaker 1: never be hungry. When they get hungry, they'll know how
- 13:51Speaker 1: to throw that rod out there and to really in
- 13:54Speaker 1: a fish, and they'll be able to cook it and
- 13:57Speaker 1: provide nourishment for that bodies. And just as you plant seeds,
- 14:02Speaker 1: I believe that those seeds that you plant, that fruit
- 14:05Speaker 1: will be produced from those seeds. Even if you're doing
- 14:09Speaker 1: it in the spirit, you're gonna have spiritual fruits. And
- 14:12Speaker 1: if you do it in the natural, you're gonna see
- 14:14Speaker 1: those trees grow. You're gonna see those plants grow. And
- 14:17Speaker 1: as soon as they grow and they begin to harvest,
- 14:19Speaker 1: you're gonna see that fruit come from that plant, or
- 14:22Speaker 1: you're gonna see that fruit come from that tree, and
- 14:24Speaker 1: it's gonna be able to nourish your physical body. So
- 14:27Speaker 1: I believe in sowing into individuals because I believe in
- 14:32Speaker 1: what you sow into others, God will do for you.
- 14:35Speaker 1: That's one thing that our apostle teaches us. She teaches us.
- 14:38Speaker 1: The things that you do for others, God would do
- 14:41Speaker 1: for you. And I'm gonna live in witness. So that's
- 14:44Speaker 1: why I sow into others, and I want others to
- 14:46Speaker 1: be able to benefit from the things that I benefit from.
- 14:50Speaker 1: You know, I'm not a gatekeeper. If God allow a
- 14:54Speaker 1: door to be open for me, guess what, I'm not
- 14:57Speaker 1: walking in that door by myself, because before I go,
- 15:00Speaker 1: I'm gonna ask them, hey, can can this person go?
- 15:03Speaker 1: Can this person know? Can I invite some more people
- 15:05Speaker 1: in and allow them to be a part of this.
- 15:08Speaker 1: Every time somebody want to interview me for their magazine,
- 15:11Speaker 1: for they whatever, whatever, whatever, I'm always sending it out
- 15:15Speaker 1: to other people so they can get involved in it too.
- 15:17Speaker 1: When people drop stuff in my spirit, when they drop
- 15:20Speaker 1: stuff in my lap, I don't care if it's a contest,
- 15:23Speaker 1: whatever it is, I'm gonna share it with people that
- 15:25Speaker 1: I know may be able to benefit from it so
- 15:28Speaker 1: that they can have the same opportunities that God allowed
- 15:32Speaker 1: me to have. Because guess what, if I leave here today,
- 15:37Speaker 1: if I didn't share it with nobody, then it's in
- 15:39Speaker 1: vain because nobody else will have the opportunity to share it.
- 15:43Speaker 1: But if I share it with somebody, and they too
- 15:47Speaker 1: share it with somebody else, and guess what, It'll keep
- 15:49Speaker 1: it going on and somebody will be able to benefit
- 15:52Speaker 1: from it. There's so many people that have leftist Earth
- 15:57Speaker 1: and had gifts and talents that they were not able
- 15:59Speaker 1: to to manifest those gifts and those talents in the
- 16:02Speaker 1: world so that they can leave their blueprint, so that
- 16:05Speaker 1: they can leave something that people would know them by.
- 16:08Speaker 1: And one thing I said I was not gonna do
- 16:11Speaker 1: is I was not gonna be one of those people.
- 16:13Speaker 1: I was not gonna allow the gifts and the talents
- 16:16Speaker 1: that God has placed within me to be in vain
- 16:20Speaker 1: because guess what, He knew everything that I was gonna
- 16:23Speaker 1: need before I even was even conceived in my mother's womb.
- 16:27Speaker 1: So every day when I lay down, y'all, I want
- 16:30Speaker 1: to be empty. I want to have poured out everything
- 16:34Speaker 1: that He has placed in me to be able to
- 16:37Speaker 1: be a blessing to somebody else. He gives me AA
- 16:42Speaker 1: lac IT, which is the African American Author Literacy Awareness campaign.
- 16:47Speaker 1: He gave it to me in twenty sixteen. It was
- 16:50Speaker 1: to bring awareness to authors all over the world. African
- 16:54Speaker 1: American authors all over the world because we were not
- 16:57Speaker 1: being represented. I would go into lives, I would go
- 17:01Speaker 1: into bookstores and I would not see us on the shelf.
- 17:05Speaker 1: My kids in my after school program and summer program
- 17:08Speaker 1: were not reading. They were not utilizing their gifts and
- 17:11Speaker 1: their talents. They didn't want to read the books because
- 17:13Speaker 1: they said they didn't know, they didn't have animals, they
- 17:17Speaker 1: didn't have this. It did not represent them. So I
- 17:21Speaker 1: took to social media.
- 17:23Speaker 6: Y'all.
- 17:23Speaker 1: I came to Facebook that I just really started getting
- 17:26Speaker 1: into Facebook. I came to Facebook and I searched out
- 17:30Speaker 1: for children book authors. I searched out for black authors,
- 17:34Speaker 1: and y'all, I came across a pletha of authors, authors
- 17:39Speaker 1: and people that were willing to travel to Anderson, South
- 17:41Speaker 1: Carolina to my summer program to pour into the babies.
- 17:45Speaker 1: I had a young lady from Atlanta, Georgia, Jasmine Wo
- 17:49Speaker 1: Wo Wo Mac. She had just given births. Her baby
- 17:53Speaker 1: was probably six or eight weeks old. She drove in
- 17:57Speaker 1: to Anderson, South Carolina from Atlanta with her baby on
- 18:01Speaker 1: her chest. She taught my kids how to do vision boards,
- 18:06Speaker 1: how to make their own little books. We had other
- 18:12Speaker 1: people come in and host different workshops and different things
- 18:16Speaker 1: to pour into those babies, things that they wanted to hear.
- 18:19Speaker 1: So that made me want to do more. I started
- 18:23Speaker 1: developing a book tour called the Chasing Your Dream Book Tour,
- 18:29Speaker 1: and we would go to different cities, we would go
- 18:31Speaker 1: to different states. We would set up workshops, we would
- 18:35Speaker 1: set up different things where people would come in and
- 18:38Speaker 1: they would teach us how we could brand our products,
- 18:42Speaker 1: how we could extend what we was doing, how we
- 18:45Speaker 1: can turn those books into different things. You wanted to
- 18:48Speaker 1: turn your book into a play or into a movie.
- 18:51Speaker 1: You wanted to turn it into a speaking platform, you
- 18:54Speaker 1: wanted to turn it into a membership platform, just different
- 18:57Speaker 1: things that you could do to expand what you're doing
- 19:00Speaker 1: with just the book, even if you were a part
- 19:03Speaker 1: of an anathology. They showed us how you could take
- 19:06Speaker 1: your chapter, use your chapter to build a brand and
- 19:09Speaker 1: to build a name for yourself just off of your chapter.
- 19:13Speaker 1: That was one of the reasons why I really got
- 19:16Speaker 1: involved in doing anthologies and wanting to collaborate with people,
- 19:20Speaker 1: because everybody don't always have a whole book, but they
- 19:24Speaker 1: have something that they want to share, something that they
- 19:26Speaker 1: want to pour out. So I wanted to be able
- 19:29Speaker 1: to be an outlet where they could share. They can
- 19:33Speaker 1: share a chapter, they can share that chapter, share a
- 19:36Speaker 1: little bit about them, and then they can take that
- 19:38Speaker 1: chapter and utilize that chapter to build something else, to
- 19:42Speaker 1: build a brand to build around it, and then hopefully,
- 19:46Speaker 1: if they were being enough anathology, it would encourage them
- 19:50Speaker 1: to do their own book. And that's one thing that
- 19:53Speaker 1: I encourage everybody. You don't have to continue to be
- 19:56Speaker 1: in anathologist, especially when people are charging you these thenomical prices,
- 20:02Speaker 1: Like for the likes of me, I've never seen why
- 20:04Speaker 1: people are charging one hundred, one hundred and ninety nine dollars.
- 20:08Speaker 1: I've seen people even charge twelve hundred dollars, fifteen hundred dollars,
- 20:12Speaker 1: two thousand dollars to be a part of an anthology, Like, really,
- 20:16Speaker 1: what are you doing? Taking advantage of people is what
- 20:19Speaker 1: I call it, because it does not take all of that.
- 20:22Speaker 1: The most that you have ever seen me charged for
- 20:25Speaker 1: one anthology has been fifty dollars. We're doing one right now, y'all.
- 20:30Speaker 1: It is a three book series poetry anthology series, The Wholeness.
- 20:39Speaker 1: It's about wholeness and it is a poetry series three books,
- 20:46Speaker 1: eighty dollars for three books, y'all, and people charging triple
- 20:52Speaker 1: that four times that just to be a part of
- 20:55Speaker 1: an anthology. And then they're telling you that they're doing
- 20:58Speaker 1: all this stuff, that they're coaching, you doing all this
- 21:00Speaker 1: other stuff, and you get nothing. I paid ninety nine
- 21:04Speaker 1: dollars to be a part of Anathology. We didn't get
- 21:08Speaker 1: the coaching that was promised. We didn't get the promotion
- 21:12Speaker 1: that was promised. We didn't get none of that. So
- 21:15Speaker 1: when I do Anathology, y'all, that's I'm gonna tell you why.
- 21:18Speaker 1: I only charge twenty seven thirty dollars to be in
- 21:21Speaker 1: Anathology and you get two three entries in the Anathology
- 21:26Speaker 1: because I want you to be able to share your voice.
- 21:28Speaker 1: I want you to be able to share your thoughts,
- 21:30Speaker 1: what's on your mind. I'm not gonna promise you I'm
- 21:33Speaker 1: gonna do no coaching.
- 21:35Speaker 3: Now.
- 21:35Speaker 1: We gonna do some editing, we gonna do some revisions,
- 21:38Speaker 1: but we're not gonna do no coaching. Because I want
- 21:41Speaker 1: you to be able to share. I'm not gonna tell
- 21:43Speaker 1: you how you gotta write now. If you want the
- 21:46Speaker 1: one on one with me, I do do one on
- 21:49Speaker 1: ones for those that want to self publish from start
- 21:52Speaker 1: to finish if you don't wanna do the one on
- 21:54Speaker 1: one because you don't want to pay that fee. I
- 21:57Speaker 1: got two books out right now that are on Amazon,
- 22:01Speaker 1: They're on blur, they're on mad Cloud. I think they're
- 22:04Speaker 1: even in Walmart dot com. That you can walk yourself
- 22:08Speaker 1: through the process from start to finish eighteen twenty dollars
- 22:13Speaker 1: and you have this book that you can take notes,
- 22:15Speaker 1: that you can jop down, stuff that you can write in,
- 22:18Speaker 1: that you can read, that you can do, also do
- 22:20Speaker 1: research yourself. It shows you the things that you can do.
- 22:24Speaker 1: And then y'all know, it's forever changing, this process, forever changing.
- 22:29Speaker 1: And I don't put everything into book because I don't
- 22:32Speaker 1: know everything. I'm just sharing what I use and what
- 22:36Speaker 1: I have utilized since God allowed me to be able
- 22:39Speaker 1: to do this. And if you follow me, you see
- 22:43Speaker 1: all of the books that I have available on the
- 22:45Speaker 1: various platforms, So it's just not me just getting on
- 22:49Speaker 1: here talking. You can go and Google and you can
- 22:52Speaker 1: see all of the literary works that I have. You
- 22:55Speaker 1: can also see the people that I've helped along the way.
- 23:00Speaker 1: A website Www. Angela Thomas Smithbooks dot com. You can
- 23:06Speaker 1: go and you can check out. You can check out
- 23:08Speaker 1: my books, you can check out the magazine, you can
- 23:12Speaker 1: check out all those things that I have available. You
- 23:16Speaker 1: can check them out for yourself. I'm gonna put the
- 23:19Speaker 1: website down here in the bottom so you can see
- 23:21Speaker 1: it for yourself, and you can go over there and
- 23:24Speaker 1: you can check it out. You also can follow me
- 23:34Speaker 1: on you can check me out on linktree. Linktree would
- 23:37Speaker 1: tell you a lot of the platforms that I utilize
- 23:42Speaker 1: as well as how you can stay connected with me.
- 23:45Speaker 1: And then if you just want to email me, you
- 23:48Speaker 1: can email me at Queens Collaborations at gmail dot com.
- 23:53Speaker 1: I'm gonna put that on here too, so if you
- 23:56Speaker 1: want to email me, you can email me. I am
- 23:59Speaker 1: not so busy that I can't be reached. I am
- 24:03Speaker 1: someone that is reachable. I love to have conversations. I
- 24:07Speaker 1: don't like to do a lot of in boxing and
- 24:10Speaker 1: texting and all of that. I'd rather have a conversation
- 24:13Speaker 1: with you and we get it all out and then
- 24:15Speaker 1: it be over and done with. So if you want
- 24:17Speaker 1: to give me a call, you always can pick up
- 24:20Speaker 1: that phone and give me a call. I don't mind
- 24:23Speaker 1: having conversations, and all that is gonna be strolling along
- 24:30Speaker 1: the bottom of the screen. So if you need to
- 24:32Speaker 1: reach out, you can reach out and connect with me.
- 24:35Speaker 1: All right, So you're gonna see it scrolling. It should
- 24:40Speaker 1: pop up in just a second, y'all. Okay, So there's
- 24:44Speaker 1: the website, there's my link tree, there's my telephone number
- 24:49Speaker 1: if you need to reach out and connect with me.
- 24:53Speaker 1: But I just want you to know that we are.
- 24:55Speaker 1: We have the podcast, we have the magazine, we have
- 24:59Speaker 1: the book tours, and I'm gonna get back to doing
- 25:03Speaker 1: some virtual book tours. Y'all know that during COVID, I
- 25:08Speaker 1: was doing interviewers. I was doing interviews and book tours
- 25:11Speaker 1: on a constant basis. I got away from it when
- 25:14Speaker 1: I started doing the podcast and a lot of the
- 25:17Speaker 1: stuff that I was doing on the podcast. But now
- 25:19Speaker 1: that the podcast is really doing his thing and every host,
- 25:25Speaker 1: the host are doing their thing, I don't have to
- 25:28Speaker 1: I don't have the one thing about the host over
- 25:31Speaker 1: here on the Crew podcast. I don't have to micro
- 25:33Speaker 1: manage them. You know, they are capable enough to promote
- 25:38Speaker 1: their own shows. They're capable enough to make sure that
- 25:41Speaker 1: they're own the days that they're supposed to be on.
- 25:43Speaker 1: I don't have to micro manage them. And that's one
- 25:45Speaker 1: thing about the podcast that I really truly love. I
- 25:49Speaker 1: have some hosts that have been with me from the start.
- 25:52Speaker 1: Alma Thomas, Prophet Is Alma Thomas, Trevida Harris, and Patrice
- 25:59Speaker 1: grew Involved. They are three of the founding hosts. They
- 26:03Speaker 1: have been with me since we created the podcast in
- 26:07Speaker 1: twenty twenty three. And when I tell you they are
- 26:10Speaker 1: doing amazing, I am so proud of them. We have
- 26:13Speaker 1: Schanette that's been a part of us for three years.
- 26:16Speaker 1: We have Doctor Chen that's been over here for three years.
- 26:19Speaker 1: New to the family is Alithia. She's been with us
- 26:24Speaker 1: now for a month a month, I think she's only
- 26:28Speaker 1: did two shows. And then Apostle and Apostles, Doctor Kimberly
- 26:34Speaker 1: and Lee Thomas Jr. They have been with us since
- 26:38Speaker 1: the kickoff of season four, so this is their first
- 26:42Speaker 1: year a part of the podcast. But y'all, we over
- 26:45Speaker 1: here just creating and leaving a legacy, giving individuals an
- 26:49Speaker 1: opportunity to connect and allow their brands to be heard
- 26:53Speaker 1: and seen. Also, if you have a brand, you have
- 26:56Speaker 1: a product, you have something that you would like to promote,
- 27:00Speaker 1: get with one of the hosts and you can promote
- 27:02Speaker 1: your product doing their shows. There may be small fees
- 27:07Speaker 1: attached to it to help with the production of the
- 27:11Speaker 1: the promos and to also support that host. So I
- 27:17Speaker 1: would encourage you to reach out to the host and
- 27:20Speaker 1: see how you can utilize their platform to promote your
- 27:25Speaker 1: brands and to get seen and get heard as well.
- 27:30Speaker 1: You also can advertise inside of the magazine. If you
- 27:34Speaker 1: want to advertise on our social media platforms, that is
- 27:38Speaker 1: an option as well. If you would like for us
- 27:41Speaker 1: to do a campaign for you, we could definitely do
- 27:44Speaker 1: a campaign. We can do a thirty day campaign, a
- 27:47Speaker 1: sixty day campaign. All these things do come with the
- 27:51Speaker 1: price though. There is a fee attached to all of
- 27:54Speaker 1: these things, but it's an opportunity, y'all to allow your
- 27:57Speaker 1: brand to be heard and seen. We have been on
- 28:00Speaker 1: the scenes now for a little over six years. The
- 28:04Speaker 1: magazine is six years old. AA L a C was
- 28:07Speaker 1: started in twenty sixteen, so y'all, we are ten years
- 28:12Speaker 1: doing booked showcases, doing author showcases, doing the Chasing your
- 28:18Speaker 1: Dream tours, having the workshops and going out and doing
- 28:22Speaker 1: live events and being within the community, also doing virtual
- 28:26Speaker 1: book tours. So again we're gonna get that back rocking again.
- 28:29Speaker 1: We're gonna start back doing that, so y'all be on
- 28:32Speaker 1: the lookout. I am starting to prepare some things for
- 28:36Speaker 1: twenty twenty seven. So know that we're still here. We're
- 28:40Speaker 1: still pumping, We're still yet moving, We're still yet progressing.
- 28:45Speaker 1: If you see anything that you would like to be
- 28:48Speaker 1: a part of, please make sure you reach out connect
- 28:51Speaker 1: with me and see how you can get involved. We're
- 28:54Speaker 1: always looking for people to write for the magazine. We're
- 28:57Speaker 1: always looking for people to join our podcast. We have
- 29:01Speaker 1: two slots open on Fridays, first and third Friday, second
- 29:06Speaker 1: and fourth Fridays, y'all. Our show's air at eight pm
- 29:11Speaker 1: Eastern Standard times, seven pm Central Standard time, six pm
- 29:16Speaker 1: Mountain Standard time, and five pm Pacific Standard time. So
- 29:21Speaker 1: if you're interested in hosting your own podcast, those are
- 29:25Speaker 1: the slots that we currently have open. There is a
- 29:29Speaker 1: fee of one oh nine to grab you a slot.
- 29:34Speaker 1: I will do a thirty day training with you to
- 29:36Speaker 1: walk you through to make sure that you are familiar
- 29:39Speaker 1: with how things run over here. But I tell you
- 29:42Speaker 1: all you have to do is be willing to show
- 29:44Speaker 1: up and respect the mic, and I guarantee you we
- 29:47Speaker 1: can find a place for you here on the Crew
- 29:49Speaker 1: Podcast with them Divas of the Network, them Divas of
- 29:53Speaker 1: the Airways, and them Kings of the Airways, y'all. Only
- 29:57Speaker 1: we only have one king that's holding it down. But
- 30:00Speaker 1: I tell you it is open. It is open, It
- 30:03Speaker 1: is open, And hopefully in twenty twenty seven, y'all, we
- 30:06Speaker 1: will be able to expand and open up some more
- 30:10Speaker 1: opportunities for some new hosts that would like to join
- 30:14Speaker 1: what we already have here on the network. So I
- 30:19Speaker 1: look forward. I'm working in the backgrounds yet pushing yet,
- 30:22Speaker 1: trying to keep evolving, keep moving forward, keep elevating, and
- 30:28Speaker 1: letting God use us. Also, if you are not aware,
- 30:32Speaker 1: Patrice Who is the founder and CEO of South Carolina
- 30:36Speaker 1: Book Gal. She's also one of the amazing hosts over
- 30:39Speaker 1: here on the Crew Podcast. The name of her show
- 30:42Speaker 1: is South Carolina Book Gal and Friends Chat. She is
- 30:47Speaker 1: the visionary behind the fifty Represents Your State campaign. It
- 30:53Speaker 1: is a special edition of the magazine that drops every year.
- 30:57Speaker 1: This year is gonna drop in September. If you you
- 31:00Speaker 1: have not selected your state that you would like to represent.
- 31:06Speaker 1: Please get with Patrice. Get with Patrise so you can
- 31:09Speaker 1: represent your state and see how you can represent your state.
- 31:14Speaker 1: She is in charge of that. There is a fee

- 31:19Speaker 1: get you the form out so that you can get it,
- 31:22Speaker 1: get it sent in and make sure that you get
- 31:25Speaker 1: everything submitted so that you can be a part of
- 31:28Speaker 1: that special edition that's going to be dropping in September. Again,
- 31:33Speaker 1: it is the fifty States, represent the fifty states in
- 31:36Speaker 1: the five territories. So if you are from Puerto Rico,
- 31:40Speaker 1: I think it's Puerto Rico, Guam American Samoan, Puerto Rico
- 31:46Speaker 1: Guam American Samoans, the Virgin Islands, and it's another one
- 31:52Speaker 1: Marina something Marina. If you represent any of those that
- 31:58Speaker 1: that is fifty five opportunities, fifty five othors. So if
- 32:02Speaker 1: you have not selected your state to represent, please get
- 32:06Speaker 1: with Patrice so that you can represent your state. I
- 32:10Speaker 1: think that is all, y'all. I can't think of anything
- 32:15Speaker 1: else right now, But I hope that something that I've
- 32:19Speaker 1: shared with you guys will push you to, you know,
- 32:24Speaker 1: get your brand out there, to promote your brand. Know
- 32:27Speaker 1: that you are the face of your brand. And if
- 32:30Speaker 1: you don't share your brand, who else is gonna share
- 32:32Speaker 1: it for you? You have to be about your business
- 32:36Speaker 1: and you have to put yourself out there and let
- 32:39Speaker 1: people know who you are. So allow me to be
- 32:41Speaker 1: able to help you and assist you with that. If
- 32:44Speaker 1: you want me to coach you along the way, I'm here, y'all.
- 32:48Speaker 1: I'm a certified life coach. I'm here to help in
- 32:52Speaker 1: whatever way I can. You know, God has given me
- 32:55Speaker 1: many gifts and talents, and y'all, I want to use them.
- 32:58Speaker 1: I don't want them to go to waste because I
- 33:00Speaker 1: don't want to rock the cry out for me. I
- 33:02Speaker 1: want to be able to use those things. So when
- 33:04Speaker 1: I stand before him, he'll say, well done, my good
- 33:07Speaker 1: and faithful servant. And that's all y'all. Y'all know, I
- 33:11Speaker 1: got all these songs over here, so I'm gonna I'm
- 33:14Speaker 1: gonna play one of these songs on my way out, y'all,

- 34:16Speaker 3: give God glory. Trying to break me, trying to end
- 34:22Speaker 3: my song. But I found my worthday and I'm moving
- 34:27Speaker 3: on shot point plank what I still breathe, But trying
- 34:32Speaker 3: to bury me had to leave. Now I'm here with
