- 1:01I'm your host, Lauren Meisner, the founder of the Australian
- 1:04youth digital media brand Centennial World.
- 1:08Welcome back to Mini Scroll, everyone.
- 1:10OK, I didn't even realize until this weekend that Thursday that
- 1:16just passed was actually Mini Scroll's second birthday.
- 1:20Yay. Happy 2nd birthday to Mini
- 1:21Scroll. That is crazy.
- 1:23It feels like I've been doing Mini Scroll literally for my
- 1:25entire life, like 20 plus years at least.
- 1:28So wild. Two years.
- 1:30So two years of a daily Internet culture podcast bringing you
- 1:34guys the tea and things have changed so much since then.
- 1:37I honestly every once in a while we get a comment from somebody
- 1:40being like, Oh my God, I've gone back and I've listened to older
- 1:42episodes and like, I cannot believe how different this
- 1:44podcast is now. Anyways, yes, happy birthday to
- 1:47Minnie and thank you guys so much for the people that have
- 1:49joined over every, you know, phase of the journey.
- 1:53But definitely thank you to the Ogs that have, you know, been
- 1:56here from when we first launched and took a chance in this little
- 1:59pod. And you know, we've grown so
- 2:00much and mini scroll Billy is the thing that changed the
- 2:02business, changed the trajectory of Centennial World.
- 2:06So I'm so grateful for you guys. All right, let's get into the
- 2:10stories for today, but Please remember to rate, review and
- 2:12subscribe. Please Spotify star rate US,
- 2:14join our Patreon and subscribe to our newsletter.
- 2:18Keep scrolling for OK. The first story that I have for
- 2:20you guys today is I'm going to break down what is going on
- 2:23between Sky Ferrera and Charli XCX.
- 2:26So there's been a bit of music world drama this weekend
- 2:29involving Charlie XCX and Sky Ferreira after Sky made some
- 2:32comments about Charlie's soundtrack album Wuthering
- 2:35Heights. Sky is a pop Electra
- 2:37singer-songwriter, so she was first discovered after posting
- 2:41on Myspace as a teenager. I love that.
- 2:44And then she really rose to prominence in the early 20 tens.
- 2:48She never reached like true mainstream success, I would say,
- 2:51but she has maintained A cult fanbase.
- 2:54She's collaborated with Charlie, you know, she's definitely,
- 2:57like, considered very influential and prominent in
- 3:00like, this indie pop space. OK, so the drama first kicked
- 3:03off when Sky responded to a meme online about Charlie inviting
- 3:07her into the studio for the Wuthering Heights album.
- 3:10Sky commented on this meme and she said quote to record my old
- 3:14songs. So that sparked speculation that
- 3:17some of Sky's unreleased material or demos might have
- 3:20been used in Charlie's project. Things escalated on X tweeted a
- 3:24screenshot claiming that they were texting with an industry
- 3:27insider about this theory and that the insider claimed that
- 3:31tracks like Eyes of the World, Chains of Love, and Altars were
- 3:34lifted from Sky's old demos. So they posted a screenshot of
- 3:38this text message and then Sky was in the comments and Sky
- 3:42wrote your industry insider is wrong.
- 3:45Close but wrong. I'm not going to get into it,
- 3:48but it definitely is more than an intro.
- 3:50I have proof of everything with dates.
- 3:52It isn't worth the trouble because I know how the world
- 3:55works. So when she says intro, I assume
- 3:57she means like more than an intro of like her music is being
- 4:00used in this in this album. Then she continued.
- 4:03I wasn't going to say anything. I'm over being dragged and
- 4:06humiliated for no reason. It brought back a lot of things
- 4:09I've worked really hard to move past.
- 4:11No one quote UN quote saved or helped me.
- 4:13My life was destroyed for over 10 years and it's a public joke.
- 4:16Joke publications, etcetera. It isn't funny.
- 4:19It allows people to disrespect and take advantage of me or to
- 4:22manipulate multiple situations based on their perception of me.
- 4:25I wasn't allowed to do anything. I mind my own business, so I
- 4:28don't know why everything is so loaded.
- 4:30I don't want to be harassed. I don't want the actions of
- 4:32multiple people fucking things up for me and my album.
- 4:35I'm an honest person. People don't care about the
- 4:37truth. It's about whatever narrative is
- 4:38fitting or more exciting. I'm glad I can finally move on
- 4:42with my life. So Charlie's team stepped in
- 4:44with an official response after Sky kept posting about this
- 4:47stuff on social media. They told Billboard that when
- 4:50putting together the Wuthering Heights album, a standard review
- 4:54was done on some tracks that included fragments from older
- 4:57sessions. They said everyone, artists,
- 4:59producers, legal reps and managers reviewed all the
- 5:02materials together and that songwriting credits and splits
- 5:04were agreed on in writing before the album dropped.
- 5:07Their statement also stressed that Charlie always values
- 5:10collaborators and quote shares credits fairly and
- 5:12appropriately. Sky has not responded to this
- 5:15statement, but essentially what is happening here is Sky seems
- 5:19to think that some of her older work was being used without
- 5:22proper recognition. And Charlie's team says that
- 5:24everything was reviewed and credited properly before
- 5:26release. And I wasn't sure where fans
- 5:29were going to sit on this because like I said, even though
- 5:32Sky hasn't reached necessarily like mainstream success, or at
- 5:35least over the past decade hasn't been like super
- 5:37mainstream, she has some very culty fans.
- 5:41But when I was all in the reddits, it seems like most
- 5:44people are very much understanding where Charlie's
- 5:46coming from and where her team is coming from.
- 5:48So let me read you some of the top comments.
- 5:50Illustrious Cat 9897 wrote Sky has done this before to Dev
- 5:55Heinz where she got mad. He said he wrote a song for her
- 5:58before he performed it and he stood up for himself that the
- 6:01song was in the recognizable form before Sky performed it and
- 6:04that she just made it better and Sky kind of walked it back
- 6:07after. I just feel like she doesn't
- 6:08help herself much but I also feel bad because she I basically
- 6:11said she knew how this would turn out because of how she's
- 6:14perceived but at the same time that didn't happen out of
- 6:16nowhere. Charlie on the other hand is
- 6:19very professional when it comes to her music so I lean towards
- 6:21believing her. But if Sky has evidence I hope
- 6:23she posts it. Fake Empire wrote as the Sky
- 6:26stand through and through. She's making it very hard for me
- 6:28to offend her here. Not going to interpret her
- 6:30feelings on the matter, but based on the similarities heard,
- 6:33IE the intro of Chains of Love being the same intro as a leaked
- 6:37Sky demo Ancient idols. There were probably things just
- 6:40in the producer pulled from tracks he worked on with Sky
- 6:42that ended up going nowhere. Honestly this began because
- 6:45someone on Twitter with a large following made a joke about what
- 6:47Sky does for her income and she responded defensively and
- 6:51Charlie caught a stray in her defensiveness.
- 6:53So what this Reddit post is referring to is somebody on X
- 6:57quote tweeted a clip of Sky like a Sky music video and wrote I
- 7:01wonder what's her form of income and then she responded and then
- 7:04yes exactly this kind of all snowballed from there.
- 7:06DD boy on Reddit wrote I caught it like that too.
- 7:09It's her lashing out at public narratives.
- 7:11More like a targeted attack aimed at Charlie.
- 7:13Even if Charlie caught strays. Even then the question is common
- 7:16and even in Sky Ferreira fan spaces people are asking that
- 7:19because we genuinely don't see much of her besides rare red
- 7:22carpet appearances and like a yearly interview photo shoot.
- 7:25I'm sure she's annoyed but This is why celebrities have to be
- 7:28careful about engaging with fans in social media.
- 7:30Her fans are being so like level headed about all of this.
- 7:34It's really interesting to see because usually that is not the
- 7:37vibe that we get. I wonder how old her fandom is,
- 7:41and I know that's maybe a weird thing to say, but I feel like
- 7:44we've talked about that here and there where I truly do believe a
- 7:46lot of the time when we get unhinged, like parasocial
- 7:50comments and people just being like really inappropriate around
- 7:54celebrities and famous people. I think some celebrities and
- 7:57famous people are the same thing, celebrities and creators.
- 8:00Sometimes I think we forget probably how young those users
- 8:03are who are engaging that behavior and we often treat it
- 8:06like they are. I don't know, let's say like 25
- 8:09plus when sometimes they're like 11, you know, all right, the
- 8:13next right that I have for you guys today, the saga with the
- 8:16lipstick lesbians and their beauty brand leaked labs
- 8:19continues. So I have covered leaked labs
- 8:22twice now. First, I covered the backlash
- 8:25around their initial product launch and like the general
- 8:27brand concept and 2nd, I covered the lipstick lesbians response
- 8:31to this. But it has been a couple weeks
- 8:33since then and things have only gotten worse for the duo, and
- 8:36they've now made another response video that has further
- 8:38confused consumers. So I'm going to give you guys a
- 8:41refresh on the situation again in case you missed the other
- 8:44episodes. But also because I have since
- 8:46learned more about the brand vision that I think was missing
- 8:49from my initial coverage, So I want to make sure that all of
- 8:52the bases are covered. So Leaked Labs is a makeup brand
- 8:55founded by Alexis and Christina, who are the lipstick lesbians on
- 8:58social media. Their whole concept is that they
- 9:00take cosmetic product ideas that bigger brands rejected and then
- 9:05they quote UN quote leak them to the public in small limited
- 9:08drops to see if people actually like them.
- 9:11So that is the part that was missing for me.
- 9:12I knew that these quote UN quote leaks were essentially like
- 9:15unfinished products where it was like, OK, let's see if people
- 9:17like them. I didn't realize initially that
- 9:20they were taking formulations and products ideas that were
- 9:24rejected from bigger brands. So once a product is released,
- 9:29essentially it can go one of three ways for them.
- 9:31It can become a regular permanent product if consumers
- 9:34love it, it can get reformulated and relaunched based on consumer
- 9:38feedback, or it just gets scrapped completely.
- 9:41The criticism around the brand is that they are charging
- 9:44consumers to essentially buy and test unfinished products that
- 9:48other brands rejected, presumably for a reason.
- 9:51And there's also concern that this whole situation, this whole
- 9:54brand concept sets like a weird precedent within the industry
- 9:57where beauty brands may feel like they can now charge
- 10:00consumers to participate in R&D rather than the other way around
- 10:04because traditionally, of course, consumers are usually
- 10:06participating maybe for free, but often they're paid to
- 10:10participate in like consumer testing grounds.
- 10:12And then there was also criticism around their first
- 10:15launch, which is called flexi powder.
- 10:16It's kind of like an eyeshadow, I guess.
- 10:19And the way it's packaged is almost like unbreakable makeup.
- 10:23And that was initially what people were saying, like they
- 10:25should have just marketed this as unbreakable makeup or like
- 10:29travel makeup. But it comes on like very flat,
- 10:32tiny discs. And yeah, it's like a a shimmery
- 10:35powder. So people were questioning how
- 10:37the product stays clean after use.
- 10:38And they were also saying there were issues with consistency in
- 10:41the formula's thickness, which apparently varies between
- 10:45shades. So in response to this, the
- 10:47women posted a video with their chemist Andrea, who tried to
- 10:51explain that the thickness difference happens because
- 10:54certain pigments or shimmer particles absorb the binder
- 10:57differently. So basically, some shades need
- 10:59more binder to hold together, so they end up thicker than others.
- 11:02But this has led to some of the shades being more fragile and
- 11:06prone to breakage. So this explanation did not
- 11:09satisfy people. Many people in the comments
- 11:11section who claimed to be scientists or just like involved
- 11:14in makeup production in general have said that, of course,
- 11:16standard to be working with different shades that react
- 11:19differently, like different pigments react differently.
- 11:21But most professionals would know how to tweak each formula
- 11:24to ensure each shade is consistently the same thickness
- 11:27for the consumer purchasing it. And then their most recent video
- 11:31they posted at the airport, they said that they were traveling
- 11:34and they apologized for, you know, not being as responsive as
- 11:38they wanted to be at the time. And they said that they
- 11:40underestimated how much feedback they get.
- 11:43And then Alexis said that she didn't realize how many people
- 11:46wanted to buy retail ready products from her.
- 11:50With Leaked Labs, we can explain to you that our intention with
- 11:54these goods is to push them to their limits or bring them to
- 11:59market as is, when we feel so compelled by the sheer
- 12:03innovation of it all. I'm actually so humbled by the
- 12:06amount of people that wanted a retail ready brand from me and
- 12:11us. I really am.
- 12:14I didn't expect that you will get that in some version, just
- 12:19not the way you're used to getting it.
- 12:21Otherwise, I'm in the sea of sameness with everyone else, and
- 12:24that's the place I never want to be.
- 12:25People are like, that is such a weird thing to say.
- 12:28Like, obviously a consumer who is spending their money wants to
- 12:31buy products that are ready for use.
- 12:34I understand the concept is like, oh, you know, we can make
- 12:37the products together, like give us your feedback and we'll
- 12:40respond to it. But at the end of the day,
- 12:42people still want products that are retail ready.
- 12:44I don't think anybody went into this under the impression that
- 12:47they were spending that amount of money for a product that was
- 12:50like genuinely unfinished. So the other element of this
- 12:54that I actually didn't touch on in my original coverage is how
- 12:57expensive these products are. And again, they are admittedly
- 13:01from the founder's mouth, not retail ready products.
- 13:05So Jen Love did a breakdown of the pricing and she explained
- 13:08how Leaked Labs is charging $17.00 per gram of products for
- 13:13their first drop reminder. Unfinished products $17.00 per
- 13:17gram. OK, so she compared this to
- 13:19similar eyeshadow products from luxury brands.
- 13:22So she said Tom Ford charges 1370 one $13.71 per gram of
- 13:27product and Pat McGrath charges $6.40 per gram of products.
- 13:32Even Tom Ford is like $4.00 less than what the lipstick let.
- 13:39Then what Leaks Labs is charging for this?
- 13:41OK, so they're obviously gonna come out with their second drop
- 13:44and it'll be interesting to see if they take any of this
- 13:47feedback on board. But like what you guys think
- 13:49about this, I personally don't think that Leach Labs is a cash
- 13:52grab. I think it's more so them trying
- 13:56to have a moment. Like I really see this as them
- 13:58trying to do something for the sake of doing something for the
- 14:02headlines, for the ability to say like they're innovative,
- 14:05they're different. Like for the attention around
- 14:07that. I don't think that this is like
- 14:09a money cash grab. But I think at the end of the
- 14:11day, the strategy was not well thought out at all.
- 14:15It feels like they're trying to be different for different sake
- 14:18and sometimes that just does not work.
- 14:20All right, the next story that I have for you guys today is
- 14:23influencer Lauren Blake is blaming AI for her face being
- 14:27edited on to a black models body.
- 14:31I'm sure a lot of you guys have seen this, it's been going viral
- 14:34all week. But a white influencer named
- 14:36Lauren Blake Boltier got called out online after posting what
- 14:40looked to be this like gorgeous tennis event photo of herself,
- 14:44except it was not actually her photo.
- 14:46Content creator Tatiana Elizabeth posted a video calling
- 14:49Lauren out saying that there was some weird like face swap
- 14:52situation that went on where Lauren literally put her face on
- 14:56Tatiana's body. So everything about the photo is
- 14:59the same, OK? Like the outfit, the pose,
- 15:01accessory, threes, even a tattoo.
- 15:03They were basically identical to Tatiana's original photo which
- 15:06was posted in 2024 from the US Open.
- 15:10However, Lauren posted it like basically claiming or pretending
- 15:13that it was in real time and tagged the Miami Open, I guess
- 15:17to make it look like she was there.
- 15:18So this went viral when Tatiana called it out and her video has
- 15:22over 4 million views. OK guys, come in.
- 15:25This photo to the right is a photo of me at the US Open in
- 15:282024. This photo to the left is a
- 15:32photo that I came across this morning on Instagram of someone
- 15:35who castrated me and decided to use my image and my environment.
- 15:41I initially thought that it was one of those faceless AI pages
- 15:44but come to my realization, this is an actual person with 1.6
- 15:48million followers at that and by no means am I trying to bash
- 15:52this girl. Central health is real and I'm
- 15:53not a bully. I'm a little perplexed.
- 15:55Just want to know what was the reason?
- 15:58Has social media got into our heads that much that we are
- 16:02completely disregarding? Coof.
- 16:05Another part that gets me is that this has been up since this
- 16:08morning. I commented up this morning.
- 16:09This girl has not reached out to me.
- 16:11She has not apologized, she has not given an explanation and
- 16:14probably embarrassed, which she should be.
- 16:16But I think that the nice and accountable thing to do would be
- 16:18to reach out and at least apologize to the person who's
- 16:21photo you. So like, what the heck?
- 16:23But yeah, information. Don't do this.
- 16:25After the backlash, Lauren deleted the photo and DM Ed
- 16:28Tatiana and said this. This is the first thing that
- 16:30Lauren had to say to me yesterday.
- 16:32This was her first response. She sent it out like 2:00 PM.
- 16:37Hey babe pissed me off as well as the lots of moving parts.
- 16:42Kind of pissed me off. At about an hour later, I
- 16:44received another message from her and this is what she had to
- 16:48say in the second message. And at this point is when I
- 16:51realized that I'm dealing with someone who just doesn't really
- 16:53truly understand the weight of what she did and doesn't care.
- 16:57She's trying to shift blame onto her team and she's trying to
- 17:00shift blame onto an AI service. I don't know if she thinks that
- 17:04I'm stupid, dumb, or blind. However, I know that to use AI,
- 17:08you need a prompt. And in order to have a prompt,
- 17:10you need to have a picture and you had to find the picture from
- 17:13somewhere. I would have appreciated it way
- 17:15more if this girl would have just owned up to it, say, Oh my
- 17:17God, this is so embarrassing. This is so crazy.
- 17:19I found your picture on Pinterest.
- 17:21My team found your picture on Pinterest and we took it and we
- 17:24ran with it. But I think that she's not even
- 17:26taking accountability. And that's the part that's just
- 17:28making me so annoyed because I feel like I tried to give her so
- 17:32much grace was never my intention to bash this girl.
- 17:34As I said in my first video, I have not called her out of her
- 17:37name. I have not said anything
- 17:38negative or rude about her. I'm simply stating the facts.
- 17:41And now it's become a bigger problem than it initially was
- 17:44for me. Like the people who follow me
- 17:45and support me understood and understand everything that I've
- 17:48done to get to this point and to get to the point of being
- 17:51invited to the US Open by Serena Williams.
- 17:53You can't just take that moment away, put your head on it and
- 17:56act like that's OK. That's a black woman.
- 17:58I have had to work so hard to be in some of the rooms that I've
- 18:01been in. I know for a fact that I've
- 18:03kicked down certain doors. I know for a fact that I've been
- 18:06one out of one out of 1 black girls in a room full of 12 white
- 18:10women as a part of a brand trip or a brand event.
- 18:13I've been doing this for 10 years.
- 18:14This is not new to me. I think that it's completely and
- 18:17utterly disrespectful to take the work from someone else who
- 18:20has a smaller following than you and act like they don't exist.
- 18:25Minimize their work. Minimize their experience.
- 18:28It is that serious. I'm so sorry.
- 18:30And then she also posted this on Instagram.
- 18:32Quote I want to address a recent post created by a third party AI
- 18:36content agency I've been working with.
- 18:38It was brought to my attention that an image posted utilized
- 18:41the work and likeness of a Black creator in a way that is
- 18:43entirely inconsistent with my values.
- 18:46I take full responsibility for what appears on my platforms.
- 18:49The post was removed and I've spoken with the creator
- 18:51privately to apologize. I will have more oversight with
- 18:54my agency to ensure my content is handled with the integrity
- 18:58and respect it deserves moving forward.
- 19:00I am deeply sorry for the hurt that this has caused the
- 19:02original creator and the community at large.
- 19:04Thank you to those who have spoken up.
- 19:06I'm listening and I'm committed to doing better.
- 19:08This is reminding me of the Georgie Stevens response where
- 19:12they're trying to pass it off to like a third party who is in
- 19:16control of their accounts. And maybe that's the case, like
- 19:18I said with Georgie, maybe it's the case that she does have a
- 19:21paid agency that's creating this content for her.
- 19:23But I think it's weird for Lauren to have blamed like an AI
- 19:26agency. I guess like there's no other
- 19:29explanation. Obviously this was AI.
- 19:32Like this was like an AI face swap.
- 19:34So obviously at the end of the day, like AI was used here.
- 19:36So she couldn't, I guess, avoid the AI side of things.
- 19:40But admitting that you are using an AI content agency, like what
- 19:43are you using that for as an influencer?
- 19:45Why would you need an AI content agency as an Instagram
- 19:49influencer? Because based on what's
- 19:51happened, I'm assuming that this agency creates content like
- 19:55they're a generative AI platform or service.
- 19:58It's not like a workflow software that's helping you
- 20:00write captions or like scheduling your post or
- 20:03something. Like they're clearly generating
- 20:05images for you, which I think is a crazy thing for her to have
- 20:08admitted to her. Like, what does she have like
- 20:101.3 million followers or something like that?
- 20:12Yeah, 1.6 million followers. There are also people in the
- 20:15comments section claiming that she's done this before.
- 20:17There's no way for me to verify this, but there are people
- 20:19sharing screenshots of like side by side photos where she has
- 20:22alleged. Actually put her face on other
- 20:24creators bodies or images times before.
- 20:27And finally, TMZ actually did a Zoom interview with Tatiana, and
- 20:31here's what she said about it. I'm assuming you saw her
- 20:34statement saying that AI is the reason behind the mix up.
- 20:38Do you believe? Let me ask you that, do you
- 20:40believe her explanation? Absolutely not.
- 20:42I mean, I'm not born yesterday. I feel like we're all kind of in
- 20:45the space right now of experimenting with AI, and I
- 20:47know enough to know that you have to at least have a prompt
- 20:50or an inspiration image or something of that sort.
- 20:53So I completely don't buy that at all.
- 20:55I think that she's just trying to like, avoid blame.
- 20:58I know like she actually wrote a statement later after our
- 21:01exclusive story but basically got a sorry message.
- 21:05Did she ever reach out to you directly to apologize?
- 21:10Yeah, she reached out to me yesterday in midday, kind of
- 21:14after everything has happened, after it's kind of blown over a
- 21:17little bit, she reached out with a message saying it's a lot of
- 21:20moving pieces and that she'll reach out to me later with a
- 21:23formal apology. So then she reached out again
- 21:26with a written apology note, and then she later unsent that and
- 21:30then sent another apology note. But it's just been weird.
- 21:34And with that being said, do you accept her apology?
- 21:38I not particularly because I don't think that it's coming
- 21:42from a super sincere place. I think that she just wants the
- 21:44situation to blow over and to kind of get back to things, to
- 21:48schedule programming. She didn't really make any real.
- 21:53I don't think she was on it. I don't think she was authentic
- 21:55in her apology. I think she's just saying what
- 21:56she thinks she needs to say in order to kind of move past this.
- 21:59She took like she took my work, like I got invited to the US
- 22:05Open by Serena Williams, like I went to the US.
- 22:07That was a very, that was an experience that I that was a
- 22:12privilege to go due to my hard work that I've put in over the
- 22:15past eight years. It's not just an image of me
- 22:18there. And I feel like I personally try
- 22:20to do a good job of bread crumbing and showing a little
- 22:22bit more of the story behind the post.
- 22:25It's not just, hey, let me look cute and take a pretty picture
- 22:28here. That whole swipe within the
- 22:30post, it's me sharing my full on experience.
- 22:33So I feel like to just take that and put your head on top of it,
- 22:36it's crazy. I really hate how AI can now
- 22:39just be used as an excuse for people when they mess up.
- 22:42That is something that I don't think I anticipated when I don't
- 22:46know. We talk about like the
- 22:48consequences of AI and some of the benefits of AI, but also
- 22:51kind of, you know, the downfalls of AI.
- 22:53Like when we have these conversations, I have really
- 22:55never thought about how easy it's going to be now for people
- 22:58to just blame AIAI having hallucinations.
- 23:02AI just like going off on its own and like doing whatever it
- 23:05wants. And so many people in any number
- 23:07of fields being able to pass the blame off to like the robot.
- 23:11All right, and the last story that I have for you guys today.
- 23:14This is so chronically online, but for those of you on Stand
- 23:17Twitter, hopefully you will appreciate this but Bald and
- 23:22Dowd has met Ann Dowd. So for those of you who are
- 23:26unfamiliar, Bald Ann Dowd is a very infamous Stand Twitter
- 23:29account. The account is run by Allison
- 23:31Savitz. She started the account in 2011
- 23:34when she was around 11 years old as a Justin Bieber fan account.
- 23:37She's now in her mid 20s and is a pop culture account posting
- 23:41commentary and memes and she has accumulated over 67,000
- 23:44followers. She is known as Bald Ann Dowd
- 23:47because the icon is a picture of the actress but she is bald.
- 23:50She's basically just like one of those accounts that if you are
- 23:53not on Twitter, you might not fully understand her influence.
- 23:56OK, but she is definitely very well known within the Stan
- 24:00community. Having said that, today is a big
- 24:02day for Stan Twitter because Allison has officially met and
- 24:05out. They met at an event for the
- 24:07Testaments, which is like an upcoming drama on Hulu and
- 24:10Anna's in the cast. So bald and out post a picture
- 24:14alongside the actress to her account with the caption.
- 24:16Hi guys. It's since accumulated over
- 24:18500,000 views and 16,000 legs. And then she shared a follow up
- 24:23tweet writing can't even begin to explain how lovely and out
- 24:26is. I could cry.
- 24:27Anyway, the meet up has been monumental.
- 24:30So many other famous Dan Twitter accounts have posted about the
- 24:33two meeting up at film updates shared the picture writing bald
- 24:37and out and and out stun and newly shared photo.
- 24:40OK, I love how it's like I know it's because pop pop, not pop
- 24:43base. Oh my God, Pop crave started the
- 24:46whole like so and so stuns and now everybody just like memes
- 24:49up. But I love how all of the pop
- 24:50culture update accounts always use stuns.
- 24:52Pop crave posted about it writing ex user bald and out has
- 24:56officially met and out. And then my favorite of all is
- 25:00people are editing the photo to make both women appear to be
- 25:04bald. So that's a fun little stand.
- 25:07Twitter update to end the episode today.
- 25:11Anyways, guys, thank you so much for listening.
- 25:13I love you. Please remember to rate, review
- 25:15and subscribe. Annabelle will talk to you guys
- 25:17tomorrow for mini tech and then I will talk to you on Thursday.
