- 0:00SPEAKER_01: It's game time on the Scott and Alley Show, and I have a question for you, Al.
- 0:05SPEAKER_01: Does not have to be answered in the form of a question like they do on the Japardi.
- 0:10SPEAKER_01: However, if you have a dog and you've named it Sir Jumps A Lot, what do you suppose it can do very well?
- 0:16SPEAKER_01: Jumps a lot.
- 0:17SPEAKER_01: I get I would get that as the right answer, yes.
- 0:21SPEAKER_01: Well, and there is a really cute viral video going around of a super dogs competition.
- 0:27SPEAKER_01: I love these.
- 0:28SPEAKER_01: I love them.
- 0:29SPEAKER_00: That'd be super cute.
- 0:30SPEAKER_01: We're gonna be taking the kids, by the way, to the Lee Com for that dog show at the end of the month where they do all the tricks.
- 0:35SPEAKER_00: Oh, is this the um the one that used to be a I don't know.
- 0:39SPEAKER_01: Maybe if Lee Comm decided to advertise the show, that'd be a great idea.
- 0:42SPEAKER_01: You can contact your sales representative, Jeff Todo, and book those commercials.
- 0:46SPEAKER_01: So the rest of the world knows about that.
- 0:48SPEAKER_00: I won't inquire about that anymore then.
- 0:49SPEAKER_01: Anyway, uh, this is when the dog named Sir Jumpsalot uh runs towards the obstacles uh with ten stacked plastic poles.
- 0:58SPEAKER_01: Oh my gosh.
- 0:59SPEAKER_01: He gets a great buildup, but then uh runs directly through the poles.
- 1:04SPEAKER_01: Here you go.
- 1:05SPEAKER_01: The highest jumping golden retriever in Ontario here to show you what he can do.
- 1:10SPEAKER_01: Let's make some noise for Sir Jumpsalot! Woo! Whoops.
- 1:16SPEAKER_01: Whoops.
- 1:16SPEAKER_01: Didn't quite work out for Sir Jumpsalot.
- 1:19SPEAKER_01: By the way, did I tell you, I am living with evil geniuses.
- 1:22SPEAKER_01: So you know my my dogs uh uh have a ton of pug in them.
- 1:26SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 1:26SPEAKER_01: But there's also the weirdest mix of like, I don't know, you got border collie in there and two of them.
- 1:31SPEAKER_01: Chihuahua.
- 1:32SPEAKER_01: There's no chihuahua.
- 1:33SPEAKER_01: Pomeranian yes, there is.
- 1:35SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 1:35SPEAKER_01: Um uh little rat terrier.
- 1:37SPEAKER_01: They all have tight little butts.
- 1:38SPEAKER_01: Coyote.
- 1:38SPEAKER_01: Um, so the one part that they have, which is a pretty good portion, and one of them in particular, very much shows they have a a strain of border collie in them.
- 1:50SPEAKER_00: Oh, okay.
- 1:50SPEAKER_01: And that's a smart breed, but they're also evil geniuses.
- 1:54SPEAKER_01: Two things have developed in my house.
- 1:56SPEAKER_01: Number one, after I'm ready, you know, once I get up and they go outside in the morning, uh Petey knows he's the biggest one in the house.
- 2:02SPEAKER_01: Petey knows how to I never thought I had a big dog, but I do.
- 2:05SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 2:06SPEAKER_01: Petey knows how to open Lydia's door and he ushers all the other dogs.
- 2:11SPEAKER_00: Oh my god, is that a Disney film or what?
- 2:13SPEAKER_00: He ushers everybody in there.
- 2:14SPEAKER_00: And then all of a sudden he robs a bank.
- 2:15SPEAKER_00: I know, right?
- 2:18SPEAKER_01: He uh, I mean, he could all just lay with Lydia.
- 2:21SPEAKER_00: Or I was gonna say, or he goes to the Shimong County aspect.
- 2:23SPEAKER_00: Not that this the okay, maybe I shouldn't.
- 2:25SPEAKER_00: Let's them all out.
- 2:26SPEAKER_01: We'll go with the happy side of Disney, yeah.
- 2:29SPEAKER_01: Uh but if but if it's a Disney movie, then he walks out and gets hit by a car and killed.
- 2:33SPEAKER_02: So the theme alive.
- 2:35SPEAKER_01: No.
- 2:35SPEAKER_01: So he knows how to open Lydia's door because we have those handles, it's not like a turning knob.
- 2:40SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 2:40SPEAKER_01: So he pushes it down, ushers three other dogs in with him.
- 2:43SPEAKER_01: So him, Frank, uh, you know, Winston, they'll all be sleeping in with Lydia before I leave.
- 2:48SPEAKER_01: I'm looking in, I'm like, okay.
- 2:49SPEAKER_01: Also, we got a garbage can in the bathroom where you don't have to touch it to open it.
- 2:54SPEAKER_01: It's what you put your hand over it, yeah, and it automatically opens.
- 2:58SPEAKER_01: This has become a new game for them, and they all stand there with their head over it, watch it open.
- 3:03SPEAKER_01: Four seconds later it closes, and their heads are all like, huh?
- 3:06SPEAKER_00: I thought you were gonna say, and then eats what's ever in the garbage because I used to live with uh a friend of mine, and his dog not only loved underwear, but also loved everything else that could end up from a lady part in the garbage.
- 3:20SPEAKER_02: And three, two, one.
- 3:23SPEAKER_02: You're listening to Scott and Allie.
- 3:24SPEAKER_01: Scott and Allie's big three.
- 3:26SPEAKER_01: The Ajou, if you will.
- 3:31SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna vom.
- 3:33SPEAKER_00: Seriously.
- 3:35SPEAKER_00: You're nasty.
- 3:37SPEAKER_00: Oh my gosh.
- 3:39SPEAKER_02: You took us down the road.
- 3:41SPEAKER_00: That's why we also had to close the bathroom door.
- 3:43SPEAKER_00: We couldn't even let the dog in there.
- 3:46SPEAKER_00: Well, if you drive an EV.
- 3:48SPEAKER_02: I win what's grosser than gross to me, I want to sell you.
- 3:51SPEAKER_00: That is vile.
- 3:53SPEAKER_00: If you have an EV, or maybe you're looking at an EV, this is something to think about.
- 3:58SPEAKER_00: A bipartisan proposal in the House would add a$130 yearly registration fee for EVs to fund transportation infrastructure.
- 4:12SPEAKER_02: So now we're gonna charge the EVs.
- 4:14SPEAKER_00: The five-year surface transportation reauthorization bill also calls for, wait, even more, a$35 annual fee for plug-in hybrids.
- 4:23SPEAKER_00: Critics are saying, wait, you're penalizing EV owners?
- 4:27SPEAKER_00: We also got a gas tax payment per driver, which is now 18 cents per gallon since 1993.
- 4:34SPEAKER_00: I thought that there was the there was the perk of owning a V8.
- 4:39SPEAKER_00: Saving the environment.
- 4:40SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 4:41SPEAKER_00: I told you uh about an hour ago, I was gonna give you an update on somebody involved in the OJ trial.
- 4:48SPEAKER_00: Mark Furman, who's the former LAPD detective known for his role in the OJ Simpson murder trial, died at the age of 78 after battling some aggressive throat cancer.
- 4:57SPEAKER_00: Now he's the one that discovered the glove, but also had some credibility issues after he made racist remarks on that.
- 5:05SPEAKER_01: Yeah, he was a scorching racist.
- 5:06SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 5:07SPEAKER_00: Wait, but then he ended up kind of saving his career because then he went into true crime, also did a radio show, you know.
- 5:16SPEAKER_00: And a Jackson Pollock painting sold for 181 million.
- 5:19SPEAKER_00: Oh, he died, didn't he?
- 5:20SPEAKER_00: Yeah, at 78.
- 5:22SPEAKER_00: Aggressive throat cancer.
- 5:23SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 5:24SPEAKER_00: A Jackson Pollock painting sold for 181 million at an auction in New York this past week.
- 5:30SPEAKER_00: The most for a piece by the abstract expressionist.
- 5:33SPEAKER_01: Is this the same guy that did the Campbell soup cans?
- 5:35SPEAKER_00: Nope, that's Andy Warhol.
- 5:36SPEAKER_01: Oh, that's right.
- 5:37SPEAKER_01: This is the guy where it basically looks like I can't wait for this description.
- 5:43SPEAKER_00: Like somebody had explosive diarrhea.
- 5:47SPEAKER_01: Oh man, I'm gonna have a thousand dollar painting in an hour.
