• 0:00
Speaker 1: Well, come in as Verdict with Center Tech Cruz Ben
• 0:02
Speaker 1: Ferguson with you. It's nice to have you on radio
• 0:05
Speaker 1: stations listening around the country and Center I. I do
• 0:08
Speaker 1: love that I have the upper hand the advantage tonight
• 0:11
Speaker 1: and and the level of energy at this show because
• 0:14
Speaker 1: you just did like an all nighter on a voter
• 0:17
Speaker 1: rama in the Senate.
• 0:18
  Speaker 2: How that?
• 0:19
  Speaker 3: How?
• 0:19
Speaker 2: How much fun was that?
• 0:20
Speaker 1: I just want to know did you did y'all hang out,
• 0:22
  Speaker 1: spend time together?
• 0:23
  Speaker 4: What?
• 0:24
  Speaker 3: Like?
• 0:24
Speaker 2: Tell me how that went?
• 0:26
Speaker 5: Listen, Ben, I recognize that you're a young guy and
• 0:29
Speaker 5: and so your strength Peter's out after a while, but
• 0:33
Speaker 5: you got to understand when you were in the battle,
• 0:36
Speaker 5: in a long battle. Yes, we were on the Senate
• 0:39
Speaker 5: floor until four a m. Last night. We were doing
• 0:43
Speaker 5: voter ramana. What is voterama?
• 0:44
Speaker 1: Voteramas average age in the Senate it's like nineties. So like,
• 0:48
Speaker 1: how did that work?
• 0:49
  Speaker 6: Yes?
• 0:50
Speaker 5: So I'm the teenager that they think I have acne.
• 0:53
Speaker 5: I mean, you got to understand it.
• 0:56
Speaker 1: Bring the snacks, like how did like you know? I'm
• 0:59
Speaker 1: just curious, like did you order the late night pizza
• 1:01
Speaker 1: er to someone else?
• 1:02
Speaker 5: I'm the comedic relief which tells you how much trouble
• 1:05
Speaker 5: we're in. But so we were in reconciliation because it's
• 1:10
Speaker 5: the process that we're going to use to fund ice
• 1:14
Speaker 5: and customs of border patrol, because the Democrats want to
• 1:17
Speaker 5: shut down our border permanently, and reconciliation is the major
• 1:21
Speaker 5: exception from the filibuster, which means we can do it
• 1:25
Speaker 5: with just Republicans. But when you do it, you do
• 1:29
Speaker 5: unlimited amendments. So you do it's called a voter rama.
• 1:31
Speaker 5: So the Democrats kept us there till four in the morning,
• 1:34
Speaker 5: casting lots of stupid votes, and the votes are typically
• 1:38
Speaker 5: you hate children, you hate kittens, you hate pumpies, you're
• 1:42
Speaker 5: against rainbows. I mean all sorts of votes. And so
• 1:45
Speaker 5: they did that till four in the morning and then
• 1:46
Speaker 5: we were done. However, I'm damn skippy, and I can't
• 1:51
Speaker 5: help it if you think, you know what, if you
• 1:56
Speaker 5: were here, we'd play hoops right now. And I take
• 1:59
Speaker 5: it to the whole I believe.
• 2:01
Speaker 2: So here's my real question.
• 2:02
Speaker 1: When you guys are till four in the morning and
• 2:04
Speaker 1: these people that you work with are like eighties and nineties,
• 2:07
Speaker 1: do they sleep in their office and then like someone
• 2:09
Speaker 1: has to physically wake them up to walk them down
• 2:12
Speaker 1: to vote. How does like, how do the logistics of
• 2:14
Speaker 1: this work? And do you guys still wear your coat
• 2:16
Speaker 1: and tie or is it like pajamas?
• 2:18
  Speaker 7: No?
• 2:18
Speaker 5: No, it's all coat and tie, are it very Some
• 2:21
Speaker 5: people stay on the floor, some people stay in the
• 2:23
Speaker 5: cloak room. Some people stay So there's a room one
• 2:27
Speaker 5: floor down from from where the Senate floor is called
• 2:30
Speaker 5: the Inner Sanctum, and it's senators only, and you sit
• 2:33
Speaker 5: in there and you have like cheese and crackers and
• 2:36
Speaker 5: a glass of wine, and it's actually bipartisan and so
• 2:39
Speaker 5: a good chunk of the night. Like well, you're waiting
• 2:40
Speaker 5: for votes to finish, you sit down there and talk
• 2:43
Speaker 5: and basically talk smack.
• 2:46
Speaker 1: So no card playing. I was kind of hoping for
• 2:48
Speaker 1: some like card playing. They wouldn't let you have a
• 2:51
Speaker 1: poker because that would have woken you up.
• 2:52
Speaker 5: I know you well, I am actually flying to Vegas
• 2:56
Speaker 5: this weekend. So as you know, every year we do
• 2:59
Speaker 5: a poker fundraiser, and this weekend is the poker fundraiser.
• 3:03
Speaker 5: We get a number of poker pros to come out
• 3:05
Speaker 5: and play and it is a lot of fun. I
• 3:09
Speaker 5: like to play poker and it is our poker fundraiser
• 3:13
Speaker 5: in Vegas two years ago was the birth of the
• 3:16
Speaker 5: Trump accounts and so, but we did not play poker
• 3:21
Speaker 5: on the Senate floor.
• 3:22
Speaker 1: All right, I got my money. I got my money
• 3:24
Speaker 1: against you this weekend. Just knowing the lack of sleep
• 3:26
Speaker 1: that you've had, I want to be clear, I'm going
• 3:28
Speaker 1: to leak that out to the pros out there. I
• 3:30
Speaker 1: think you're going to be one of the first ones
• 3:32
Speaker 1: out have to rebuy back in.
• 3:34
Speaker 5: So Ben, you're demonstrating exceptionally poor judgment. That leads me
• 3:38
Speaker 5: to ask, were you an investor in the Southern Poverty
• 3:41
  Speaker 5: Law Center?
• 3:42
  Speaker 2: Yeah?
• 3:43
Speaker 1: Right, exactly, which brings us to our story number one.
• 3:46
Speaker 2: After I got to just you.
• 3:47
Speaker 1: Know, transition, big guy, that was a beautiful transition. Beautiful
• 3:52
Speaker 1: there by the way, before we get the Southern Poverty
• 3:54
Speaker 1: Law Center, I want to say thank you and talk
• 3:56
Speaker 1: to you real quick about our awesome friends over at
• 3:58

• 4:00
Speaker 1: new one. You've got to check out rough Greens and
• 4:03
Speaker 1: what they can do for your dog. After we saw
• 4:07
Speaker 1: what happened with our older dog, Memphis, we realize, why
• 4:10
Speaker 1: wait until the dog's older why not give rough Greens
• 4:14
Speaker 1: right now to little Birdie And we know what it does.
• 4:17
Speaker 1: It supports long term health by providing live, bioavailable nutrients
• 4:22
Speaker 1: including essential vitamins, minerals, probiotics, digestive enzymes, and omega oils.
• 4:28
Speaker 1: Now the ingredients they work together to improve nutrition absorption,
• 4:32
Speaker 1: also help Bertie maintain joint and muscle health as she
• 4:35
Speaker 1: grows and enhance her overall vitality. Now we care about
• 4:41
Speaker 1: Bertie's longevity. We've already lost two dogs unfortunately when they
• 4:45
Speaker 1: got older, and this is a way we can do
• 4:47
Speaker 1: everything we can to keep Birdie around as long as possible. Now,
• 4:51
Speaker 1: there are deficiencies found in processed dog food, but rough
• 4:55
Speaker 1: Greens it supplements your dog or your puppies diet with
• 5:00
Speaker 1: to any oxidants and anti inflammatory compounds that help reduce
• 5:04
Speaker 1: oxidative stress, support immune defense as well, and slow age
• 5:09
Speaker 1: related to climb. That's what we love the most. Now
• 5:12
Speaker 1: it's easy. You're not buying new food. You just sprinkle
• 5:15
Speaker 1: it on the current food that your dog eats and bam,
• 5:19
Speaker 1: they love it. So whether you've got a puppy or
• 5:22

• 5:57
Speaker 1: All right, sater, So let's get into seven Poverty Law Center.
• 6:01
Speaker 1: It was, let's just be clear, a group that was
• 6:04
Speaker 1: supposed to stop the klu Klex Klan, but instead they
• 6:07
Speaker 1: decided to fund the klu Klex Klan. That was just
• 6:10
Speaker 1: one of the many like bigoted racist groups that they
• 6:13
Speaker 1: decided to actually raise money from people claiming we're trying
• 6:17
Speaker 1: to stop hate while actually funding the hate, so they
• 6:20
Speaker 1: can then raise money off of the funding of the
• 6:22
Speaker 1: hate and get a return on their investment.
• 6:25
Speaker 2: It's like a Ponzi scheme. You can't make it up.
• 6:28
Speaker 5: This story is one of the most astonishing stories. So
• 6:31
Speaker 5: the Southern Poverty Law Center has made a business for decades,
• 6:36
Speaker 5: a business convincing people, convincing liberals, convincing American corporations, convincing
• 6:43
Speaker 5: just ordinary Americans that there are these vicious racists in
• 6:46
Speaker 5: America that need to be fought, and their business and understand,
• 6:50
Speaker 5: the Southern Poverty Law Center raised hundreds of millions of
• 6:53
Speaker 5: dollars to fight these racists. What happened this week? The
• 6:58
Speaker 5: Department of Justice indicted them, indicted them for money laundry
• 7:04
Speaker 5: and the evidence. I could not have made this up.
• 7:08
Speaker 5: The Southern Poverty Law Center was funding the very bigots
• 7:12
Speaker 5: and racists that they claimed to be fighting. So, for example,
• 7:16
Speaker 5: here's a story in the Daily Signal the SPLC was
• 7:21
Speaker 5: paying the Ku Klux Klan. Doj indictment claims the Southern
• 7:25
Speaker 5: Poverty Law Center has raised money for decades claiming to
• 7:27
Speaker 5: dismantle white supremacy, but it funneled millions of dollars. Let
• 7:33
Speaker 5: me repeat that, millions of dollars to white nationalist groups,
• 7:38
Speaker 5: including the Ku Klux Klan. According to the federal indictment
• 7:42
Speaker 5: handed down Tuesday, the SPLC claims it was funding informants
• 7:47
Speaker 5: inside the extremist groups. While the SPLC quote purports to
• 7:51
Speaker 5: fight white supremacy and racial hatred. Acting Attorney General Todd
• 7:55
Speaker 5: Blanche said in a press conference quote, the SPLC was
• 7:59
Speaker 5: not dismanted those groups, it was instead manufacturing the extremism
• 8:05
Speaker 5: it purports to oppose. Blanche highlighted one example from the
• 8:09
Speaker 5: indictment where the SPLC paid a member of the leadership
• 8:12
Speaker 5: group that planned the Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville,
• 8:16
Speaker 5: Virginia in twenty seventeen. It is stunning liberals funding bigots
• 8:23
Speaker 5: in order to raise money to fight the bigotry they're funding.
• 8:27
Speaker 1: There was a lot in the indictment that came out,
• 8:30
Speaker 1: but there's one theme that cash Hotel made very clear
• 8:34
Speaker 1: as he was on John Handy's show. He made it
• 8:37
Speaker 1: real simple what this is about and why they were indicted.
• 8:41
Speaker 1: Here is Cash Hotel, in his own.
• 8:43
Speaker 2: Words, funny doesn't lie.
• 8:44
Speaker 3: The charity that supposedly fought the clan funded the clan.
• 8:48
Speaker 3: The charity that supposedly fought Nazis funded Neo Nazis. The
• 8:53
Speaker 3: Southern Poverty Law Center ran a methodical, calculated scheme to
• 8:58
Speaker 3: defraud their donor base three million dollars and lied to
• 9:02
Speaker 3: them and used an illicit banking structure system to create
• 9:05
Speaker 3: shell companies to hide their money and who it was
• 9:09
Speaker 3: being sent to specifically for the reason to sow discord
• 9:13
Speaker 3: and hate into our society. This is the ultimate definition
• 9:17
Speaker 3: of hypocrisy. And if you look at the indictment produced
• 9:20
Speaker 3: by the Department of Justice and the FBI, you will
• 9:22
Speaker 3: see that these banking institutions tied directly the funding mechanisms
• 9:26
Speaker 3: in which the Southern Poverty Law Center used to fund
• 9:29
Speaker 3: at least eight hate groups they supposedly wanted to take out,
• 9:33
Speaker 3: but they were paying the very villains of our society
• 9:35
Speaker 3: they supposedly wanted to protect us from.
• 9:38
Speaker 8: That's the ultimate blockers.
• 9:40
Speaker 1: By the way, one of the things that I think
• 9:42
Speaker 1: is really interesting about this is there were warning signs
• 9:46
Speaker 1: for like quite some time. John Stossel back in January
• 9:51
Speaker 1: sixteenth to twenty eighteen, he did an expose on warning
• 9:56
Speaker 1: Americans about the Southern Propaty Law Center and how it
• 10:00
Speaker 1: used to have like a in theory, like a good theme.
• 10:03
Speaker 1: It used to be about, hey, we find hate groups,
• 10:05
Speaker 1: and we name them, and we expose them and we
• 10:08
Speaker 1: out them. And then it just turned into a radical
• 10:11
Speaker 1: left organization where Democrats could throw their money.
• 10:15
Speaker 2: And when they threw their money in there.
• 10:17
Speaker 1: It would just basically attack conservatives and anybody on the
• 10:21
Speaker 1: hit list, which turned into by the way, turning Point USA.
• 10:25
Speaker 1: It turned into Christian groups as well, groups that they
• 10:28
Speaker 1: named individuals like Laura Ingram for example, as one of
• 10:31
Speaker 1: those threats to America through the Southern Public Lass Army
• 10:34
Speaker 1: that they were doing that back in twenty sixteen.
• 10:38
Speaker 5: Well, and look, it was not just liberals that were
• 10:41
Speaker 5: funding them. It was corporate America. That they did an
• 10:43
Speaker 5: amazing job of extracting millions of dollars from giant corporations,
• 10:48
Speaker 5: and they'd say, look, we're going to fight hate and
• 10:50
Speaker 5: we're going to fight extremism. And they were rapidly partisan.
• 10:53
Speaker 5: They attacked conservatives. We knew that. But the latest piece
• 10:57
Speaker 5: of this indictment, I got to say, a week ago, Ben,
• 11:00
Speaker 5: I don't know about you. Did you have on your
• 11:02
Speaker 5: Bengo card the Southern Publicly Law Center funding, the KKK,
• 11:06
Speaker 5: funding the Nazis. No, Like there's a level of cynicism.
• 11:12
Speaker 1: Yeah, And the donations or corporate donations like it's Apple,
• 11:16
Speaker 1: Tim Cook a million bucks, JP Morgan a million bucks,
• 11:20
Speaker 1: JP Morgan half a million, MGM Resorts a million, like
• 11:24
Speaker 1: they were Corporate America was giving money to them the
• 11:28
Speaker 1: same way they did to Black Lives Matter for example,
• 11:30
Speaker 1: it was like, oh, this is just something we got
• 11:32
Speaker 1: to check a box.
• 11:32
Speaker 2: Yeah, what do you need, will write you the check.
• 11:35
Speaker 1: And they had unlimited funds coming in and then they
• 11:38
Speaker 1: used it to again come after conservative and Christian organizations.
• 11:42
Speaker 5: And understand the charges here. The indictment charges of the
• 11:45
Speaker 5: SPLC with six counts of wire fraud aiming to obtained
• 11:49
Speaker 5: money via donations through materially false false representation and omissions
• 11:54
Speaker 5: about what the donated funds would be used for. It
• 11:58
Speaker 5: charges the SPLC with four counts of false statements to
• 12:01
Speaker 5: a federally insured bank by creating accounts for fictitious entities
• 12:07
Speaker 5: to funnel the money. Finally, it charges the SPLC with
• 12:10
Speaker 5: one count of conspiracy to commit concealment of money laundry.
• 12:15
Speaker 5: The Justice Department indictment claims the SPLC directed more than
• 12:19
Speaker 5: one million dollars to an affiliate of the National Alliance,
• 12:25
Speaker 5: more than three hundred thousand dollars to an affiliate of
• 12:28
Speaker 5: the Area Nations, more than two hundred and seventy thousand
• 12:32
Speaker 5: dollars to a member of the Unite the Right rally
• 12:34
Speaker 5: in Charlottesville, Virginia in twenty seventeen, more than one hundred
• 12:38
Speaker 5: and forty thousand dollars to a former chairman of the
• 12:41
Speaker 5: National Alliance, more than seventy three thousand dollars to a
• 12:46
Speaker 5: former ku Klux Klan members, and more than nineteen thousand
• 12:50
Speaker 5: dollars to the president of the American Front. This was
• 12:55
Speaker 5: shameless and it was massive cash. Pttel said the FBI
• 13:00
Speaker 5: as investigation revealed that the funds were used to facilitate
• 13:03
Speaker 5: the commission of further state and federal offenses, totaling more
• 13:08
Speaker 5: than three million dollars. The magnitude of this, the depravity
• 13:14
Speaker 5: of this, it's staggering.
• 13:16
Speaker 1: I want to play Stolesel. He did this again January sixteen,
• 13:20
Speaker 1: twenty eighteen. He was warning the country about the Southern
• 13:25
Speaker 1: Property Law Center years ago, saying they have lost their way.
• 13:28
Speaker 1: They are not what they say they are. Take a
• 13:30
Speaker 1: listen to him exposing them back in the day.
• 13:35
Speaker 7: There are dangerous hate groups in America.
• 13:38
Speaker 2: Who will warn us about them? The media have an answer.
• 13:42
Speaker 3: The Southern Poverty Law Center.
• 13:44
Speaker 2: The Southern Poverty Law Center.
• 13:46
Speaker 7: The Southern Poverty Law Center, based in that building in Alabama,
• 13:50
Speaker 7: calls itself the premier group monitoring hate groups, looking at
• 13:55
Speaker 7: their map of such groups, he'd think America was consumed
• 13:59
Speaker 7: by hate. I once believed in the Center's mission well
• 14:03
Speaker 7: meeting people still do. Apple just gave them a million dollars.
• 14:06
Speaker 7: But what dotors don't know is that today the Center
• 14:10
Speaker 7: smears people who don't deserve to be smeared.
• 14:13
Speaker 2: The presence of radical Islam.
• 14:15
Speaker 7: This woman grew up in Somalia suffered female genital mutilation,
• 14:20
Speaker 7: so now she speaks out against radical Islam. For that,
• 14:23
Speaker 7: the Center put her on its list.
• 14:26
Speaker 5: Multiculturism failed these communities.
• 14:28
Speaker 7: This man was once an Islamic extremist, but then he
• 14:32
Speaker 7: decided radical Islam was wrong, and now he criticizes the radicals.
• 14:37
Speaker 7: The Center labels him an anti Muslim extremist.
• 14:40
  Speaker 2: Too.
• 14:42
Speaker 1: Join the fight against hate and bigotry.
• 14:44
Speaker 2: Visit Sblcenter dot org.
• 14:46
Speaker 6: I do think that we have a problem with hate
• 14:48
  Speaker 6: in this country.
• 14:49
Speaker 5: We put about ten of these major hay groups out
• 14:52
  Speaker 5: of business.
• 14:52
Speaker 7: The Center's leaders, Richard Cohen and Morris D's would not
• 14:56
Speaker 7: talk to me, so commentator Nomiki Khan stepped up to
• 14:59
  Speaker 7: defend them.
• 15:00
Speaker 5: They have a history a long history of fighting against
• 15:03
Speaker 5: extremists like the KKK.
• 15:05
Speaker 7: Years ago, Harper's magazine reported that the Center's the wealthiest
• 15:08
Speaker 7: civil rights group in America, one that spent most of
• 15:11
Speaker 7: its time and money on a fundraising campaign. Now, Morris
• 15:16
Speaker 7: d'es did once promised to stop fundraising once his endowment
• 15:20
Speaker 7: hit fifty five million dollars, but when he reached fifty
• 15:24
Speaker 7: five million, he changed that to one hundred million, saying
• 15:27
Speaker 7: that would allow them to cease costly fundraising. But when
• 15:31
Speaker 7: they reached one hundred million, they didn't stop.
• 15:34
Speaker 5: Today they have an endowment that now is over three
• 15:38
Speaker 5: hundred and twenty million dollars, much of which is an
• 15:41
Speaker 5: offshore counts Caymans and places like that.
• 15:43
Speaker 8: And how do you know, Oh, we look at their
• 15:45
Speaker 8: nine nineties and it.
• 15:46
  Speaker 2: Says Cayman Islands.
• 15:47
Speaker 7: Yeah, they pay some of their people more than four
• 15:50
  Speaker 7: hundred thousand year.
• 15:51
  Speaker 2: Center.
• 15:52
Speaker 1: We played that warning from Stossel, and this warning from
• 15:56
Speaker 1: John Sossol was very clear, follow the money. And that
• 15:59
Speaker 1: was several years ago when he did that. Now we
• 16:03
Speaker 1: see where the money was going and who was being defrauded.
• 16:06
Speaker 1: Many of them were the donors. Do you think people
• 16:09
Speaker 1: may actually go to jail for some of this?
• 16:11
Speaker 5: Look, I hope that they do. They were lying. They
• 16:14
Speaker 5: were deliberately lying and taking the money and sending it
• 16:16
Speaker 5: to exactly the opposite thing they were claiming. They were
• 16:19
Speaker 5: taking it for. You know, it's interesting. The Southern Poverty
• 16:22
Speaker 5: Law Center, their business model was saying, we're gonna fight hate,
• 16:26
Speaker 5: We're gonna fight racism. But they decided there wasn't enough
• 16:31
Speaker 5: hate and racism in the world, so they needed to
• 16:33
Speaker 5: pay millions of dollars to the Nazis and the Ku
• 16:37
Speaker 5: kukx Klan and other racist groups. They paid two hundred
• 16:41
Speaker 5: and seventy thousand dollars to the Unite the Right rally.
• 16:44
Speaker 5: Remember that was the rally in Charlesville, Virginia. You had
• 16:48
Speaker 5: these young, kind of Nazi looking Aryan boys carrying tiki
• 16:53
Speaker 5: torches saying the Jews will not replace us. And the
• 16:56
Speaker 5: media went crazy and said and blamed this all on president.
• 17:00
Speaker 5: And if you remember, Joe Biden literally said the reason
• 17:04
Speaker 5: that he ran for president was because of the Unite
• 17:07
  Speaker 5: the Right rally.
• 17:07
Speaker 2: Yeah, because of that moment.
• 17:09
Speaker 5: And what is amazing is we now know that that
• 17:12
Speaker 5: rally was funded by leftists. And you might say, why
• 17:16
Speaker 5: would why would these leftists ostensibly fighting hate be writing
• 17:22
Speaker 5: checks and paying the Nazis and the clansmen. Let me
• 17:24
Speaker 5: just give you a couple of stats. What do you
• 17:26
Speaker 5: think the revenue for the Southern Poverty Law Center was
• 17:29
Speaker 5: in October of twenty sixteen?
• 17:32
  Speaker 2: What was it?
• 17:32
Speaker 1: Because October twenty sixteen was when Trump was running, so
• 17:35
Speaker 1: keep going on this.
• 17:37
Speaker 5: It was right before the Unite the Right rally. Yep,
• 17:39
Speaker 5: it was fifty one million, eight hundred and seventy four
• 17:43
Speaker 5: hundred and thirty eight dollars, So fifty one million, that's
• 17:45
Speaker 5: real money. What do you think the revenue was one
• 17:48
Speaker 5: year later, October twenty.
• 17:50
Speaker 2: Seventeen, when Trump was president? What was it?
• 17:54
Speaker 5: After the Unite the Right rally? It went from fifty
• 17:57
Speaker 5: one million to one hundred thirty three million, four hundred
• 18:01
Speaker 5: and sixty three thousand, three hundred and ninety eight. It
• 18:04
Speaker 5: more than doubled. So it turns out the two hundred
• 18:08
Speaker 5: and seventy thousand dollars that they sent to organize the
• 18:11
Speaker 5: Unite Right rally to put a bunch of racist bigots
• 18:15
Speaker 5: on TV more than double their fundraising. There is a
• 18:18
Speaker 5: cynicism there, and you know what, it's not just cynicism,
• 18:22
Speaker 5: it's fraud, which is why they've been indicted.
• 18:24
Speaker 2: Well, let me ask you one last question on this.
• 18:27
Speaker 1: When groups like this get busted this way, I still
• 18:31
Speaker 1: think the left will defend and protect them at all costs.
• 18:34
Speaker 1: But is there any way that they actually could have
• 18:37
Speaker 1: broken some of the laws that they could be forced
• 18:39
Speaker 1: to shut down and the Southern probably lossner would cease
• 18:42
Speaker 1: to exist or no? Or is that just wishful thinking.
• 18:44
Speaker 5: Look, I think there's a very real possibility. This indictment
• 18:48
Speaker 5: is serious, this evidence is serious. Now there'll be a trial,
• 18:50
Speaker 5: we'll see what the evidence shows. But listen to this
• 18:53
Speaker 5: exchange between a reporter and Todd Blanche, the acting Attorney General,
• 18:58
Speaker 5: on what the allegations of what the evidence are.
• 19:01
Speaker 6: I just want to make sure I understand you're alleging
• 19:03
Speaker 6: that the Southern Poverty Law Center was paying the leaders
• 19:08
Speaker 6: of KKK and other groups to continue their operations.
• 19:13
Speaker 1: Is that I'm not.
• 19:14
Speaker 8: Alleging it the grand jury returning indictment that says that,
• 19:17
Speaker 8: and so what what the what the investigation found, according
• 19:20
Speaker 8: to the indictment that was returned today, is that they
• 19:23
Speaker 8: were paying so so Southern Popity Law Center is raising money,
• 19:27
Speaker 8: asking folks to give them money to dismount racism. And
• 19:30
Speaker 8: over a very long period of time, they were using
• 19:33
Speaker 8: some of the money they raised from donors to pay
• 19:37
Speaker 8: to they call them field you know, basically to informants
• 19:41
Speaker 8: two for information, for access, to just pay them for
• 19:46
Speaker 8: for certain to do certain things. And and so yes,
• 19:50
Speaker 8: that's exactly what the indictment charges.
• 19:52
Speaker 1: I love the ways that that's not what I'm saying.
• 19:54
Speaker 1: That's what the indictment and grand jury said here, like
• 19:57
Speaker 1: this seems to be overwhelming as a and for a
• 20:01
Speaker 1: long period of time. I noticed the words that he used,
• 20:04
Speaker 1: they are the same words a cash will tell you.
• 20:06
Speaker 1: This wasn't like a one off And this is I
• 20:08
Speaker 1: think what the media has tried to cover this, like, well,
• 20:10
Speaker 1: it was just kind of like a one time thing.
• 20:12
Speaker 2: This was not a one time thing.
• 20:14
Speaker 1: It was over years, higher business like structure was fund
• 20:18
Speaker 1: the people we say we hate, raise money off their
• 20:20
Speaker 1: hate when they go out there, and will help them organize,
• 20:22
Speaker 1: will even help book their travel, will help book their
• 20:25
Speaker 1: hotel rooms. That was what was happening, for example in Charlottesville.
• 20:28
Speaker 5: For years, for decades, this was going on. And understand,
• 20:32
Speaker 5: Corporate America was responsible. You know how much Apple gave
• 20:35
Speaker 5: to the Southern property Law Center.
• 20:37
  Speaker 2: Yeah, how much?
• 20:38
  Speaker 5: One million?
• 20:39
  Speaker 2: Yep, JP thousand.
• 20:43
  Speaker 5: That's a lot of money.
• 20:44
Speaker 2: Of informants as they described them.
• 20:46
Speaker 5: And I got to say, you and I both have
• 20:48
Speaker 5: Apple phones. Did you know when you bought your Apple
• 20:50
Speaker 5: phone that you were funding the ku Kluck Slam? Did
• 20:52
Speaker 5: you know that you were funding the Nazis?
• 20:54
  Speaker 4: Well?
• 20:54
  Speaker 2: I did not.
• 20:55
Speaker 5: That's what we now know because and listen, do I
• 20:59
Speaker 5: think Tim Cook woke up and said I want to
• 21:01
  Speaker 5: fund the Nazis?
• 21:02
  Speaker 4: No?
• 21:03
  Speaker 5: I think he didn't care. I think he wanted a
• 21:05
Speaker 5: virtue signal, And the Southern Poverty Law Center appealed to
• 21:10
Speaker 5: his instincts of we're gonna fight hate and the cynicism
• 21:14
Speaker 5: of the grifters at the SPLC. We're gonna take your money.
• 21:17
Speaker 5: But the problem was they found there wasn't enough racist
• 21:21
Speaker 5: hate to justify their fundraising. So let's pay people to
• 21:25
Speaker 5: be even more last points so then we can raise
• 21:28
  Speaker 5: more money.
• 21:29
Speaker 1: Yeah we need And by the way, just and that's
• 21:32
Speaker 1: called from maybe Yeah, maybe I'm cynical, but like, when
• 21:35
Speaker 1: was the last time Apple bought an ad on a
• 21:37
Speaker 1: conservative station or a conservative radio show or conservative podcast?
• 21:41
Speaker 1: When was the last time JP Morgan Chase did the
• 21:43
Speaker 1: same thing. My point maybe never maybe never. Yeah, And
• 21:47
Speaker 1: that's the point here is, like you and I have
• 21:49
Speaker 1: joked about this for years. What Democrats have at their
• 21:54
Speaker 1: disposal to fund their propaganda or the blue chip companies
• 21:58
Speaker 1: of Wall Street. None of them will touch a conservative show,
• 22:02
Speaker 1: broadcast funding of a movie, or anything like that.
• 22:06
  Speaker 2: It's all done.
• 22:07
Speaker 1: When the Reagan movie came out, nobody in the noble
• 22:10
Speaker 1: America would touch it.
• 22:11
Speaker 2: You have a great movie.
• 22:12
Speaker 1: No one would touch that because it was about Ronald Reagan,
• 22:15
Speaker 1: by the way, who's a very popular former president.
• 22:17
Speaker 2: You would think that.
• 22:19
Speaker 1: Hollywood would get behind that because if I remember correctly,
• 22:21
Speaker 1: he was one of their own, he was an actor
• 22:23
Speaker 1: and he tried to root out communism in California back
• 22:27
Speaker 1: in the day. But they won't touch it. But by golly,
• 22:30
Speaker 1: they'll send it to the Southern Poppy Law Center as
• 22:32
Speaker 1: long as they name people like Megan Kelly and Charlie
• 22:34
Speaker 1: Kirk and turning Point USA and any other conservative group
• 22:37
Speaker 1: is a hate group, which is what they've been doing
• 22:39
Speaker 1: over the last several years.
• 22:41
Speaker 5: Okay, don't forget Ben Carson and Charlie Kirk. As you know,
• 22:44
Speaker 5: Ben Carson is a saying white supremacist.
• 22:47
Speaker 1: I want you to pause what you're doing for just
• 22:50
Speaker 1: one minute, and I want you to hear about Alejandra.
• 22:53
Speaker 1: She lives in a remote community with very few resources
• 22:56
Speaker 1: and little to no healthcare. So when Alahai gets sick,
• 23:01
Speaker 1: her parents have no real options, no doctors in their community,
• 23:06
Speaker 1: and no money for real medical care. By the third day,
• 23:10
Speaker 1: her body was shutting down. She woke up and just
• 23:13
Speaker 1: long enough to tell her mom, I can't take the
• 23:16
Speaker 1: pain anymore. I can't keep going. Her parents drove hours
• 23:21
Speaker 1: to find a doctor who tried everything, but she needed
• 23:24
Speaker 1: a private hospital and that was impossible for her family
• 23:28
Speaker 1: to afford. And that is when Compassion International stepped in.
• 23:33
Speaker 1: Now through Compassion, Alejandra was treated and against all odds,
• 23:38
Speaker 1: she survived. She lived because someone just like you took
• 23:42
Speaker 1: action right now. Unfortunately, there are children just like Alejandra
• 23:47
Speaker 1: who won't survive unless someone like you steps in. Compassion
• 23:52
Speaker 1: International partners with local churches, providing children with the support
• 23:57
Speaker 1: that they need, critical medical care, plus food, education and
• 24:02
Speaker 1: the hope of the gospel, all in Jesus' name. So
• 24:07
Speaker 1: help a child just like Alexandra today. You can visit
• 24:11
Speaker 1: Compassion dot com that's Compassion dot Com, which brings us,
• 24:16
Speaker 1: by the way, to another point I want to talk
• 24:18
Speaker 1: about on the show, and you talk about this type
• 24:21
Speaker 1: of lawfair. You have decided to write another book. This
• 24:25
Speaker 1: will be news information and people listening on the radio.
• 24:28
Speaker 1: And this is a book that is a really cool
• 24:31
Speaker 1: project with a sitting Supreme Court justice who's just a
• 24:36
Speaker 1: few years away from being the longest sitting Supreme Court
• 24:39
Speaker 1: justice in history. And you've got exclusive access to sit
• 24:42
Speaker 1: down with him for your new book, Going Further. You
• 24:45
Speaker 1: can pre order right now at Goingfurther dot com. This
• 24:49
Speaker 1: is about Clarence Thomas and you're the author, and it's
• 24:52
Speaker 1: a really cool project of yours.
• 24:55
Speaker 5: Well, I'm really excited about this. So in my fourteen
• 24:58
Speaker 5: years in the Senate, I've written for books. This is
• 25:01
Speaker 5: my fifth book. Each of the books we've written have
• 25:04
Speaker 5: been New York Times bestsellers. This one is a book
• 25:10
Speaker 5: that I think really needed to be written. And so
• 25:12
Speaker 5: year and a half ago I went to Clarence Thomas.
• 25:15
Speaker 5: I went to his chambers and Justice Thomas and I
• 25:17
Speaker 5: have been friends for thirty years, and I sat down
• 25:20
Speaker 5: with him and I said, listen, I really would like
• 25:22
Speaker 5: to tell your story. I'd like to tell your story
• 25:24
Speaker 5: on a big stage. I'd like to get people to
• 25:27
Speaker 5: hear Clarence Thomas. His journey is inspirational. He grew up
• 25:32
Speaker 5: in abject poverty. He grew up in Pinpoint, Georgia. He
• 25:36
Speaker 5: grew up not speaking standard English, and he came from nothing.
• 25:41
Speaker 5: He rose. He rose academically to holy Cross, to Yale
• 25:45
Speaker 5: Law School. He rose to serve in the Reagan administration.
• 25:49
Speaker 5: He rose to serve as a Court of Appeals judge.
• 25:51
Speaker 5: He rose to serve as only the second African American
• 25:55
Speaker 5: Supreme Court justice in history. And understand, Clarence Thomas had
• 25:58
Speaker 5: a journey where before he was a conservative, he was
• 26:02
Speaker 5: a left wing radical. He was an angry black man.
• 26:05
Speaker 5: Those are the terms he used. He was involved in
• 26:09
Speaker 5: riots at Harvard, when he was at holy Cross, and
• 26:11
Speaker 5: at Yale. He was He started off as a leftist
• 26:17
Speaker 5: and then he realized the folly of his way. And
• 26:21
Speaker 5: as you noted in twenty twenty eight, Clarence Thomas will
• 26:25
Speaker 5: become the longest serving Supreme Court justice in the history
• 26:28
Speaker 5: of America. Now, he wrote a plastic col Yes, he
• 26:33
Speaker 5: wrote a fantastic autobiography called My Grandfather's son that describes
• 26:38
Speaker 5: how his grandfather raised him, and it's incredible and I
• 26:43
Speaker 5: recommend it to everyone. But my grandfather's son ends when
• 26:46
Speaker 5: he's appointed the Supreme Court. And so what I've attempted
• 26:50
Speaker 5: to do in this book is tell his story in
• 26:52
Speaker 5: a way to bring it alive to modern readers, but
• 26:55
Speaker 5: also to include his thirty years of Supreme Court decisions
• 26:59
Speaker 5: and conclude them in a way that are real, that
• 27:02
Speaker 5: makes sense, that are understandable. You don't have to be
• 27:04
Speaker 5: a lawyer, but he has changed the entire course of
• 27:08
Speaker 5: constitutional law. He has fought for natural rights, for the
• 27:12
Speaker 5: God given rights each and every one of us have.
• 27:15
Speaker 5: And the website is Goingfurther dot com. Goingfurther dot com.
• 27:20
Speaker 5: You can pre order the book on Amazon and Barnes
• 27:22
Speaker 5: and Noble wherever you get your books. The book will
• 27:25
Speaker 5: come out in August, but go to Goingfurther dot com
• 27:28
Speaker 5: and order it now. And this book makes a fantastic
• 27:31
Speaker 5: gift for your kids, for your grandkids. Clarence Thomas, I believe,
• 27:36
Speaker 5: is an American hero, and we tell his story in
• 27:38
Speaker 5: the book Going Further.
• 27:41
Speaker 1: There was a very interesting flashpoint that happened that was
• 27:44
Speaker 1: underreported or just not even touched at UCLA with a
• 27:48
Speaker 1: conservative speaker that was coming to the law school. And
• 27:53
Speaker 1: I want to be clear, I have no problem with
• 27:55
Speaker 1: protests on college campuses.
• 27:56
  Speaker 2: I think it's great that's outside.
• 27:58
Speaker 1: Disrupting and silencing a conservative speaker or a liberal speaker
• 28:02
Speaker 1: in the venue, that is completely different. UCLA did nothing
• 28:06
Speaker 1: and essence stop this from happening, silencing a conservative speaker,
• 28:10
Speaker 1: and it's now gone viral on YouTube and on x
• 28:14
Speaker 1: thank goodness, on social media. I want to get your
• 28:17
Speaker 1: reaction to this, because it was pre planned and UCLA
• 28:20
Speaker 1: they didn't do enough to stop it at all.
• 28:23
Speaker 5: Well, listen, everyone has a right to protest, you have
• 28:25
Speaker 5: a right to speak, But what you don't have a
• 28:28
Speaker 5: right to do is engage in what's called the Heckler's veto.
• 28:31
Speaker 5: You don't have a right to silence a speaker you
• 28:33
Speaker 5: disagree with. And that's what the left does. The leftist
• 28:36
Speaker 5: terrified of opposing views. They do this frequently. So what happened.
• 28:40
Speaker 5: UCLA Law School invited a lawyer from the Department Homeland
• 28:44
Speaker 5: Security to come talk the Federalist Society at the law
• 28:47
Speaker 5: school did and leftists came and deliberately disrupted the event
• 28:52
Speaker 5: and I got to say, this reminded me of an
• 28:54
Speaker 5: event that happened a couple of years ago at Stanford
• 28:56
Speaker 5: Law School, another California law school, where Kyle Duncan, who
• 28:59
Speaker 5: was a federal appellate judge from the Fifth Circuit, spoke
• 29:03
Speaker 5: and you had law students who screamed and yelled and
• 29:07
Speaker 5: said that they hoped that his daughters were raped. I mean,
• 29:10
Speaker 5: it was really twisted. And I got to say, look,
• 29:13
  Speaker 5: I'm a lawyer. I'm a law school graduate, member of
• 29:16
Speaker 5: the bar. Any lawyer, if you remember the bar, you
• 29:21
Speaker 5: number one have to pass a character and fitness test.
• 29:25
Speaker 5: And if you're in front of a judge, I got
• 29:27
Speaker 5: to tell you, if you're a lawyer and you scream
• 29:29
Speaker 5: and curse at the judge and say you hope that
• 29:31
Speaker 5: his daughter was raped, you will be held in contempt
• 29:34
Speaker 5: and go to jail. Like that is not compatible with
• 29:37
Speaker 5: actually being a lawyer. And so if you disagree with
• 29:41
Speaker 5: the views some speakers saying, you can protest outside, you
• 29:44
Speaker 5: can express your own views, but you don't have the
• 29:46
Speaker 5: right to engage in shouting them down, attacking, silencing them,
• 29:55
Speaker 5: preventing others from listening to those messages. Now I mentioned
• 30:00
Speaker 5: just a minute ago my brand new book Going Further,
• 30:03
Speaker 5: the incomparable Clarence Thomas. By the way, you can order
• 30:06
Speaker 5: that book at Goingfurther dot com Gooingfurther dot com. The
• 30:10
Speaker 5: book I wrote before that was entitled Unwoke, How to
• 30:14
Speaker 5: Defeat Cultural Marxism in America. And I mentioned that because
• 30:17
Speaker 5: when I talk about college and universities, I talk at
• 30:20
Speaker 5: length about what happened at Stanford. What happened at Stanford
• 30:24
Speaker 5: with this federal judge that was screamed and denounced by
• 30:28
Speaker 5: law students. Well, you know what happened. A couple things happened.
• 30:32
Speaker 5: Number one at Stanford. When this happened, the administrator from
• 30:36
Speaker 5: Stanford Law School came in. Now, she could have said,
• 30:39
Speaker 5: all right, enough, you don't get to silence the speaker.
• 30:42
Speaker 5: You can express your own views, but you don't get
• 30:44
Speaker 5: to prevent the students from hearing the views of this
• 30:47
Speaker 5: federal judge. She didn't do that. Instead, she gave this
• 30:50
Speaker 5: long pre written speech agreeing with the hecklers and protesters
• 30:54
Speaker 5: and attacking the judge and saying the juice is not
• 30:57
Speaker 5: worth the squeeze. Now, Stanford Law School fired her because
• 31:04
Speaker 5: of what she did there, and not only that I
• 31:06
Speaker 5: wrote a letter. I wrote a letter to the Chief
• 31:09
Speaker 5: Justice of the Texas Supreme Court and I said, look,
• 31:12
Speaker 5: these are law students that want to be lawyers. Some
• 31:14
Speaker 5: of them maybe want to be lawyers in Texas. Part
• 31:17
Speaker 5: of being a lawyer is character and fitness, the ability
• 31:20
Speaker 5: to appear in a court and not scream and yell
• 31:22
Speaker 5: and curse at a judge. These law students have demonstrated
• 31:25
Speaker 5: their unwilling to do so. And I called on the
• 31:27
Speaker 5: Texas Supreme Court to inquire of any graduates of Stanford
• 31:32
Speaker 5: Law School of the relevant time period, did you participate
• 31:37
Speaker 5: in screaming and cursing and shouting down a federal judge?
• 31:41
Speaker 5: And if you did, We're not going to admit you
• 31:42
Speaker 5: as a member of the Texas Bar because that's not
• 31:45
Speaker 5: how lawyers are allowed to behave in front of judges.
• 31:49
Speaker 5: And the Texas Supreme Court did exactly that. They said,
• 31:53
Speaker 5: because the law schools are not enforcing the rules, are
• 31:56
Speaker 5: not protecting free speech, we the State of Texas, are
• 31:59
Speaker 5: going way to do. So. I got to say, as
• 32:02
  Speaker 5: I look at what happened at U c l A,
• 32:04
Speaker 5: that makes a lot of sense here, and I want
• 32:06
Speaker 5: you to listen listen to these students when the lawyer
• 32:10
Speaker 5: from the Apartment of Homeland Security began speaking.
• 32:17
  Speaker 4: Today's speaker is brought lest by the u c l

Speaker 4: A chapter of the Federal Society.
• 32:26
  Speaker 5: I have.
• 32:31
Speaker 4: First of all, thank you for having me. My parents
• 32:36
Speaker 4: has remit in UCLA with the California while one way
• 32:41
Speaker 4: I started putting you to law and find.
• 32:46
  Speaker 8: Me very well.
• 32:47
Speaker 2: Most of the time anyone.
• 32:49
Speaker 4: Who is coming here in the league is paying for
• 32:52
Speaker 4: this or something, and they typically don't have.
• 32:57
Speaker 2: Any ask for it.
• 32:58
Speaker 4: So typically what happened and they will basically agree the
• 33:03
Speaker 4: cartels will help them er and then they get their
• 33:06
Speaker 4: final intimation of the responsible pay off the day. I mean,
• 33:09
Speaker 4: so when you're in any situation where you're.
• 33:12
Speaker 1: Working, you look at this and some of these that
• 33:17
Speaker 1: are up there, just so people on radio and listening
• 33:19
Speaker 1: on the podcast, they're holding up signs. Some of these
• 33:23
Speaker 1: kids after doing with f bombs and other things in
• 33:28
Speaker 1: the face of this speaker. And these are not these
• 33:30
Speaker 1: are not just random kids. These are people that are
• 33:33
  Speaker 1: in law school.
• 33:34
Speaker 5: Well, and they're playing their phones. They're holding up their
• 33:37
Speaker 5: phones and making noises to shut down the speaker. So
• 33:40
Speaker 5: the noises you heard there are are. They're holding up
• 33:43
Speaker 5: their phones and they did this throughout the speech. And
• 33:47
Speaker 5: this is an example if you disagree with the speaker,
• 33:50
Speaker 5: although I point out they don't even know if they
• 33:52
Speaker 5: disagree with the speaker because they didn't actually listen to
• 33:54
Speaker 5: what he had to say.
• 33:55
Speaker 1: But if you disagree with this, Poverty Lost Center was
• 33:58
Speaker 1: paying for part of this.
• 34:00
Speaker 5: You know that's not a crazy question.
• 34:01
Speaker 1: I mean, I mean, seriously, this is the type of
• 34:04
Speaker 1: sting they would sponsor and pay for.
• 34:06
Speaker 5: Look, the amazing thing about leftists is they're so angry
• 34:11
Speaker 5: and they're not willing to actually confront substance. So all right,
• 34:16
  Speaker 5: let's say you're a UCLA liberal and you don't like
• 34:20
Speaker 5: the Trump administration's immigration policy. Okay, yeah, you could lay
• 34:24
Speaker 5: out your view of why you think you should have
• 34:26
Speaker 5: a different policy, But you don't see anyone there confronting
• 34:31
Speaker 5: was twelve million people invading this country over the four
• 34:34
Speaker 5: years of Biden. A good thing was the Biden administration
• 34:37
Speaker 5: releasing thousands of murderers and rapists and child molesters and
• 34:42
Speaker 5: drunk drivers and gang bangers. A good thing. They don't
• 34:44
Speaker 5: address that because those are actual facts. Those are actual
• 34:47
Speaker 5: facts that resulted in Americans being murdered, being assaulted, and
• 34:52
Speaker 5: women being raped and children being raped. They don't want
• 34:56
Speaker 5: to engage in that. I'm perfectly fine if these leftists
• 34:59
Speaker 5: want to go have a protest outside and say we
• 35:02
Speaker 5: love open borders invade our country, which sadly seems to
• 35:06
Speaker 5: be the view of the leftist, But they're not actually
• 35:09
Speaker 5: engaging ideas. They're trying to use oppression. If you disagree
• 35:15
Speaker 5: with someone, respond with reason and logic, don't respond with
• 35:21
Speaker 5: bullying and force and and and essentially trying to stifle
• 35:28
Speaker 5: free speech. And where the hell was the administration of UCLA.
• 35:32
Speaker 5: Why was there no administrator there saying no, you don't
• 35:36
Speaker 5: get to shut this event down just because you disagree.
• 35:40
Speaker 1: Yeah, well, it's probably because they had no problem with
• 35:42
Speaker 1: the people that were holding off the F bomb signs
• 35:44
Speaker 1: in the classroom in law school at UCLA. I said,
• 35:48
Speaker 1: all the time, watch where you send your money, and
• 35:50
Speaker 1: really watch where you're sending your kids in school, because
• 35:52
Speaker 1: they want to doctrinate the hell out of them, and
• 35:54
Speaker 1: they can turn into this. Don't forget down with verdic
• 35:57
Speaker 1: with Ted Cruise, wherever you get your podcasts, we do
• 35:59

• 36:01

• 36:04
  Speaker 1: week as well.
