  Speaker 1: Yeah, I you know, it's funny overall kind of how

  Speaker 1: torches and pitchforks. This is an absolute nightmare. Everybody hates everything.

  Speaker 1: Brandon Bean is awful. Sean McDermott wasn't the problem. This

  Speaker 1: is terrible. Everybody needs to lose their job. That was

  Speaker 1: the consensus pretty much for Night two with the first

  Speaker 1: two picks, and then as Day three started, it was like, oh,
• 5:23
  Speaker 1: this is still getting worse. Everything's terrible. And then the

  Speaker 1: Skyler Bell Caleb Alarms or Jalen Kilgore pick kind of

  Speaker 1: brought everybody together a little. And now that the dust

  Speaker 1: is settled, I think Bills fans have come around a
• 5:35
  Speaker 1: lot more to this draft class. And then even from
• 5:37
  Speaker 1: a national perspective, I'm seeing it. I'm not necessarily saying
• 5:40
  Speaker 1: it's wrong. But I'm seeing a lot of like love
• 5:43
  Speaker 1: for the Bills draft class. I'm seeing them get like
• 5:45
  Speaker 1: a grades. I don't know if grades are somewhat arbitrary,

  Speaker 1: but they're getting a lot of decent love like nationally,
• 5:51
  Speaker 1: and I guess I wasn't anticipating that, especially after how
• 5:53
  Speaker 1: it started. So where do you sit, you know, high
• 5:56
  Speaker 1: level on this Bill's draft class. You just use the
• 5:58
  Speaker 1: word fascinating to describe it is? Is this something? I

  Speaker 1: guess let's start with this just on the surface, high level.

  Speaker 1: What did you think of this class, what they addressed,
• 6:08
  Speaker 1: what they did? And then I have a follow up

  Speaker 1: from a larger picture. So yeah, so kindy, just your

  Speaker 1: initial thoughts on the high level conversation of what this
• 6:15
  Speaker 1: Bill's draft class was.

  Speaker 2: Yeah.

  Speaker 4: My overall thoughts were, this is a very brandon being
• 6:20
  Speaker 4: draft class. And I said that for both the good
• 6:23
  Speaker 4: reasons and the not so good reasons. The first pick
• 6:26
  Speaker 4: being TJ.

  Speaker 1: Parker.
• 6:27
  Speaker 4: I could have told you that from like three months ago,
• 6:30
  Speaker 4: if they're gonna trade back, they're going to trade back
• 6:32
  Speaker 4: and take TJ. Parker because that feels like a guy
• 6:35
  Speaker 4: that the Bills really like on the edge. He's long,
• 6:38
  Speaker 4: he's powerful. I think he can use he can He's
• 6:41
  Speaker 4: shown that he can use his hands. He doesn't really
• 6:44
  Speaker 4: do it often. He feels very much like a guy
• 6:46
  Speaker 4: who's just sort of okay at a lot of things. Yes,
• 6:50
  Speaker 4: his play style, to me remind me a lot of
• 6:52
  Speaker 4: George Carloftus, but I think he has a little bit
• 6:55
  Speaker 4: more fluidity when it comes to dropping and coverage, which
• 6:57
  Speaker 4: is why I think that pick is fascinating, because I

  Speaker 4: think they're gonna want to use him to drop and
• 7:01
  Speaker 4: coverage a little more. Obviously, Kate McDonald going to Pick
• 7:05
  Speaker 4: after that was sort.

  Speaker 1: Of like ah Man and of the Texans, like, the

  Speaker 1: Texans really need more defense help. They really need somebody

  Speaker 1: to clean to keep their second level cleaner so Al

  Speaker 1: Shay Ire and Henry Tote can keep taking dude's heads off.

  Speaker 4: when it comes to defending the run. So now you

  Speaker 4: just added a monster nose tackle to a monster defense.

  Speaker 4: So it's just like, yeah, man, I don't know how

  Speaker 4: much of an impact you can make in terms of

  Speaker 4: taking this already great defense to an even higher level.

  Speaker 4: But I do think the McDonald going after TJ. Parker

  Speaker 4: sat like, Man, I really wish McDonald was in that

  Speaker 4: spot instead of Parker. I think Aigvanosen I believe it's

  Speaker 4: fifty six or sixty two. Excuse me, Yes, they traded

  Speaker 4: up for him. They traded from sixty six off to
• 8:00
  Speaker 4: sixty two to getting Banosa. Yeah, Ignosin is very like

  Speaker 4: you gotta. If people like him, they love him. If

  Speaker 4: they don't like him, they hate him. He is going

  Speaker 4: to be a lot of people's worst enemies for the
• 8:12
  Speaker 4: first couple of years because he just can't stop grabbing people.

  Speaker 4: He can't he cannot come, he cannot go like three

  Speaker 4: plays without committing a penalty. But he's long, he's athletic,

  Speaker 4: he can press, and I think he wants to be

  Speaker 4: involved in the run game. So maybe that's sort of

  Speaker 4: a like we'll see what happens down the line, but

  Speaker 4: I think he just gives them another athletic body in

  Speaker 4: case somebody gets hurt like they did towards the back

  Speaker 4: end of last season for Buffalo. So I think the

  Speaker 4: first two picks, I was sort of like, man, I'm

  Speaker 4: not really liking it, yeah, because I wish they would

  Speaker 4: have gone in other spots there. But day three, the

  Speaker 4: Skylar Bell Caleb Elarms or I really like those duo

  Speaker 4: of picks.

  Speaker 2: I'll include Jalen.

  Speaker 4: Kilgore in there, but I think kil Gore was drafted

  Speaker 4: right around where I thought he should be as a

  Speaker 4: guy who's a very good athlete but not as great

  Speaker 4: of a football player right now. But I do think

  Speaker 4: when you want when you're on Day three, you just

  Speaker 4: want to draft athletes. You want to just try and

  Speaker 4: get the best athletes on the field.

  Speaker 2: So I think it was a very Brandon Bean draft.

  Speaker 4: I did the meme when he picked Zane Durant. I

  Speaker 4: was like, yeah, you know that, that's every Bills defensive

  Speaker 4: tackle is an undersized three tech or an oversized three

  Speaker 4: tech and there are no nose tackles. I wish they
• 9:30
  Speaker 4: would have added a nose tackle from misdraft. So I

  Speaker 4: just I'm very curious, and I think the Jude Bowery

  Speaker 4: pick is also fascinating to me because Bowery is a
• 9:41
  Speaker 4: guy who has great movement skills, but technique wise, he's
• 9:45
  Speaker 4: not there right now. I think in Mobile I covered

  Speaker 4: him mobile when I was at the Senior Bowl.

  Speaker 2: He does two hand punch a lot.

  Speaker 4: He will two hand punch as a tackle, and what

  Speaker 4: he does is he doesn't really like get his hands

  Speaker 4: have gone in different areas with the respective picks.

  Speaker 1: Yeah, And I think that's I'm in a similar boat,

  Speaker 1: like as as I took stock of this Bill's draft

  Speaker 1: class and plug my TV back in after wanting to

  Speaker 1: throw it through the window for them not taking a
• 10:56
  Speaker 1: nose tackle. I looked at it and I was like,

  Speaker 1: you know what, But aside from the nose tackle thing,

  Speaker 1: I liked that they essentially addressed all their areas of need,
• 11:07
  Speaker 1: like the positions that they needed to attack. I think
• 11:09
  Speaker 1: they attacked them.

  Speaker 2: Well.

  Speaker 1: My biggest qualm and that's why it will be fun
• 11:12
  Speaker 1: to do this exercise was more of the types of
• 11:15
  Speaker 1: players they went at each position and when they addressed them,

  Speaker 1: and honestly, like like it or not, like that could
• 11:22
  Speaker 1: be debated for every team, every draft class, every year.

  Speaker 1: So I saw it in a little bit like I

  Speaker 1: was initially kind of like annoyed and even pissed off

  Speaker 1: at the draft class a little bit, and then I
• 11:29
  Speaker 1: calmed down a little bit. I say, you know what, No,

  Speaker 1: like I'm a whole I think they went after the
• 11:33
  Speaker 1: positions that they needed to I did balk a little

  Speaker 1: bit at Brandon Bean's post draft press or whichever night

  Speaker 1: it was, where he said the biggest need for this

  Speaker 1: team coming into this year was corner We're coming into
• 11:44
  Speaker 1: the draft was corner back, and I was like, I'm
• 11:45
  Speaker 1: sorry like that, Like, I get you, you need a

  Speaker 1: CB three. You don't have one like Dorrian's strongest penciled
• 11:52
  Speaker 1: in there. He might never be able to play again.

  Speaker 1: I think after him is Darryl Porter as like their

  Speaker 1: the Chiefs had a down year. The AFC still feels

  Speaker 1: kind of open and like anyone's game right now, much

  Speaker 1: like it did towards the back end of twenty twenty

  Speaker 1: five on paper. Right now. You know you just mentioned

  Speaker 1: we'll see what Igbinosen is, like what killgre is. This

  Speaker 4: is Josh Allen is great, James Cook is phenomenal, and

  Speaker 4: the offensive line will do whatever's possible to help us

  Speaker 4: how much does Aaron Kromer not being around take away

  Speaker 4: that offensive line question, which is why I think Jude

  Speaker 4: Bowery is one of the most fascinating picks, because if

  Speaker 4: Aaron Kromer was still there, I'll sort of be like, yey,

  Speaker 4: you know what, give give the great offensive line coach,
• 14:26
  Speaker 4: the great athlete, and he'll figure it out. But now

  Speaker 4: I'm sort of I'm not gonna say I'm worried, but

  Speaker 4: I do think that there's gonna be a little bit

  Speaker 4: more of a development track needed. There's gonna be a
• 14:36
  Speaker 4: little bit more time for that pick to pay out.

  Speaker 4: So I do think when it comes to the AFC,

  Speaker 4: even with i'd say like the Ravens, I think they

  Speaker 4: did fairly well, but there are still a lot of

  Speaker 4: questions about what that offense will actually look like under

  Speaker 4: a new offensive coordinator, new head coach.

  Speaker 2: The Chiefs are not gonna have Patrick.

  Speaker 4: Mahomes for at least like six games seven games this year,
• 14:58
  Speaker 4: so we don't know what's gonna happen with them this year.

  Speaker 4: I think the Bills are probably still about their tread
• 15:05
  Speaker 4: and water. They're still among the AFC's best teams, but
• 15:08
  Speaker 4: I don't think anybody in the AFC really with their drafts.

  Speaker 2: Sort of pushed themselves to the top.

  Speaker 4: I mean, even if you won't look at the AFC South,
• 15:17
  Speaker 4: like the Jaguars had.

  Speaker 2: One of the most interesting drafts I've ever seen.

  Speaker 4: And the Texans, like the Texans address their offensive line
• 15:25
  Speaker 4: and got probably the best value of this draft with
• 15:29
  Speaker 4: with Kate McDonald in round two. But we still really
• 15:32
  Speaker 4: don't know what this revamped offensive line is going to
• 15:35
  Speaker 4: look like. So I think for the most part, everybody
• 15:38
  Speaker 4: is still like treading water in the AFC, and maybe
• 15:43
  Speaker 4: that maybe that changes when a certain Eagle gets traded,
• 15:47
  Speaker 4: but we will see very fair.

  Speaker 1: You know what's fun even just for like the they

  Speaker 1: ended up uh taking Eye owner. I always screw his
