  to break down the wisdom K Mew mew hall disaster.

  This is APR nightmare for a brand, any brand.

  So wisdom K is one of the world's, I'm going to say one of

  the world's most popular fashion tik tokers.

  He has over 13 million followers and last week he posted a video

  showing a mew mew shopping hall in which he spent $18,000 saying

  as soon as he got home quote everything broke.

  So 2 items from this hall broke. First a denim vest which he
• 1:36
  bought for around 4700 Australian dollars where the
• 1:40
  button popped off off as soon as he tried to open the vest.

  So he literally just took it out of the bag and like started
• 1:48
  opening it and one of the buttons literally fell off and
• 1:52
  then he showed a brown sweater which cost around 3600
• 1:56
  Australian dollars where the zipper just fully broke when he
• 1:59
  tried to undo it to try it on his initial video got 5 million

  views. Mew mew obviously saw this.

  He also said he had the number of the sales associate.

  So he messaged them being like, did you guys sell me faulty

  stuff on purpose? So they actually actually sent

  him replacement items when they sent the replacement items,

  wisdom put his video on private, I guess out of you know,

  consideration for the brand. However, he then put the video

  back on public after he made a video showing the replacement

  items because the denim vest he got the replacement and the

  button again on camera. He's literally unboxing it.

  unzipping it from the Courier bag and he goes to open up the

  vest and one of the buttons pops off again the.

  There's no way bro. So users all over the Internet

  have now started calling the brand Team U, Team U instead of

  Mew Mew. And this actually led to kind of

  an unreal, I mean, not kind of a very unrealistic conspiracy

  theory online where users thought maybe this was like a

  rage bait collab, that this was on purpose.

  Because it's like, how is it possible that two of these

  vests, like back-to-back, this has happened, especially when, I

  mean, obviously people are spending thousands, tons of
• 3:30
  dollars on these clothes. That is wild.

  He hadn't even worn either of these things once.

  Obviously, that conspiracy theory is not true.

  Why would the brand ever want this type of PR?

  Like, this is not a situation where all press is good press.

  This is like an actual PR nightmare for the brand.

  So Wisdom has now made a third video addressing the whole
• 3:53
  situation, something he's calling Mew Mew Gate.

  And he talks about how he returned the denim jacket and he
• 3:59
  confirmed obviously this was not some type of like PR collab.

  He also talks about how he owns so much luxury clothing.

  Some of it's vintage, some of it's new, some of it's even

  second hand. And he says he's never had

  anything break like this, especially upon purchase.

  So yes, the online fashion community has been talking about

  how the price of designer items has been going up for years, but

  the quality has actually been going down.

  And I think that conversation was really sparked by a

  noticeable difference in quality in Chanel bags and how they just

  keep going up and up and up and up.

  And then that has kind of trickled out to, like, the rest

  of the industry. And people are talking about

  this. So a lot of commentators are

  noting, like, this is a prime example of this.

  Like that vest in Australian dollars is almost $5000.

  I think it's around 4000 USD. And the fact that the buttons

  are popping off, it doesn't matter.

  Obviously, there's like some faulty batch, OK, Like,

  obviously there's a reason for this, but it doesn't matter.

  You're buying an item that is literally multiple thousands of

  dollars. It should be the highest

  quality. Okay, the next story that I have

  for you guys, Michael Wiest has opened up about his quote UN

  quote trauma post Tanicon several years later.

  So Michael Wiest is the segue guy from Tanicon.

  If you know, you know, he has made a comeback online.

  So for anyone who is unfamiliar with Michael Wiest, he was the
• 5:19
  CEO of Good Times Entertainment, which was the company that
• 5:23
  helped organize Tanacon. We all know what happened at
• 5:26
  Tanacon. The fallout was pretty intense
• 5:28
  for Michael because he was the one that, you know, looked after
• 5:31
  the events company for it and he was actually forced to file for
• 5:34
  bankruptcy and dissolved his company claiming a loss of
• 5:37
  $700,000 following Tanacon. The fallout from that, the press
• 5:42
  around that, it was a disaster. Anyway, so Michael started
• 5:46
  posting on TikTok earlier this year.

  And in an earlier video, kind of like reintroducing himself to
• 5:51
  the Internet, he shared that he doesn't want to relive any of
• 5:54
  his past creator work. That being said, he has shared
• 5:58
  some of his experiences with Tannicon.

  Since then. He's posted quite a few videos.

  So I don't have time to go into, you know, all of it, but the one

  that I did want to talk about is 1.

  He posted four days ago That is getting a lot of traction in

  this video. He said that after Tanacon, he

  got diagnosed with PTSD and started battling depression.

  He went on to apologize to attendees of Tanacon, admitting
• 6:20
  that he had let them down. But he also doubled down on the
• 6:23
  fact that the backlash and response he received was, quote,
• 6:26
  not equivalent in value. This led him to grapple with
• 6:29
  addiction where he was addicted to Adderall and he almost
• 6:32
  overdosed. He said he attributes these
• 6:34
  feelings to cancel culture and he now wants to use social media
• 6:38
  to heal himself. It has taken me 7 to 8 years to
• 6:42
  get the strength back to even record a video and talk about my
• 6:45
  experience. You know, I was publicly shamed
• 6:49
  on Doctor Phil, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera.

  Ultimately, after Tanicon happened, I lost my house, I
• 6:58
  lost my car, I lost my friends, I lost my business, I filed

  Chapter 7 bankruptcy and I lost myself, frankly and.

  I'm. Finally starting to feel like

  myself again many many years later and get my health back.

  But I wanted to say First off, I'm sorry.

  I'm sorry for everyone who was there to meet Tana or Shane or

  Bella or any other creator. I let you down.

  I know that, but the response that I received was not

  equivalent in value. The situation fucked me up.

  Tanacon was one of the most traumatic experiences of my

  entire life. Most of the comments, the

  reception to this video is pretty savage.

  There's just so many pictures inserted into the comments of

  him on the Segway from Tanacon and just like, yeah, really
• 7:53
  savage commentary. He posted another video 2 days

  ago captioned Tanacon organizer takes accountability in which he

  shares that he became greedy in the lead up to the event.

  He said he didn't follow his instincts and he was just set on
• 8:08
  making Tana's dreams come true. So the general consensus is he

  must be bringing this up for clout.

  Like Tanacon has been addressed so extensively.

  That being said, I also do believe like there's people that
• 8:20
  are like, this is so dramatic. I do actually believe like the

  amount of hate that Michael got after Tana Con.

  Like I do believe it's possible he was genuinely dealing with
• 8:29
  severe mental health problems. Because at the end of the day,

  when Shane Dawson made that documentary about Tana Con, like

  Tana and Shane put all of the blame on Michael.

  They kind of painted him as somebody who like knew that he
• 8:43
  was taking advantage of her and that this wouldn't work out, but

  that he just wanted to go along with it anyways.

  And, you know, was kind of lying to Tana the whole time.

  That is like how they painted him out to be.

  And I mean, and whether that's true or not, I imagine the

  blowback from that, the public reception, especially cuz this

  is when Shane Dawson was still beloved and watched and you

  know, all of that. I imagine it was very severe for

  him. One comment under the video has

  an interesting theory. The user questioned if Michael

  wild. I don't know if that would be

  the most relevant guest for Ned to have, you know, especially
