- 0:00SPEAKER_01: If you don't mind for a moment here, I'd uh like to share a couple of uh tips with you to kind of really help you out.
- 0:06SPEAKER_02: Okay, tips for what?
- 0:08SPEAKER_01: This one I gotta be really, really, really serious about because a lot of times young adults, teens and that will see a trend happening on TikTok.
- 0:18SPEAKER_01: They'll naturally want to repeat it.
- 0:21SPEAKER_01: This is totally understandable.
- 0:23SPEAKER_02: I like to do the fun ones, you know, like the ones where oh, the which you hit our coworker.
- 0:29SPEAKER_02: That was a really fun one.
- 0:30SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 0:31SPEAKER_02: I mean, I wasn't gonna hit it.
- 0:32SPEAKER_02: There was no hitting.
- 0:33SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 0:33SPEAKER_02: I wasn't gonna hit Jim.
- 0:34SPEAKER_02: Scott wasn't gonna hit Jim.
- 0:35SPEAKER_02: No one's hitting.
- 0:36SPEAKER_02: Right, exactly.
- 0:37SPEAKER_01: That all being said, this is where we gotta do a good job of watching out what our younger adults are doing.
- 0:45SPEAKER_01: Because I don't see many younger kids doing this one.
- 0:48SPEAKER_01: Have you heard of the haircut challenge that is happening on TikTok right now?
- 0:53SPEAKER_01: No.
- 0:54SPEAKER_01: This teen's TikTok stunt uh ends in horror after he filmed himself cutting his hair in the middle of a road.
- 1:02SPEAKER_01: Oh, jeez.
- 1:03SPEAKER_01: And now he's in the hospital because a pickup truck slammed into him and he's in serious conditions.
- 1:09SPEAKER_00: We don't encourage anyone to use a roadway as their set.
- 1:13SPEAKER_00: I pray for the kid who's got hit and his family.
- 1:16SPEAKER_00: We were turning right there.
- 1:17SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I was giving my boy a haircut.
- 1:22SPEAKER_00: Let me know.
- 1:24SPEAKER_00: Next thing I know is uh flat tax.
- 1:27SPEAKER_00: He was very distraught.
- 1:28SPEAKER_00: It is a lot to take in.
- 1:29SPEAKER_00: I don't think he realized the severity of it at first.
- 1:33SPEAKER_01: Don't put your life or anybody's life at risk for the likes.
- 1:36SPEAKER_01: It's not worth it.
- 1:37SPEAKER_01: For the likes?
- 1:38SPEAKER_02: Uh-huh.
- 1:38SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:39SPEAKER_02: And why would you even like Gavin, Lydia, they're younger.
- 1:44SPEAKER_02: They're smarter than that.
- 1:46SPEAKER_01: I know, right?
- 1:47SPEAKER_01: How stupid are you?
- 1:48SPEAKER_01: Oh, because getting likes is an infection.
- 1:51SPEAKER_01: I it is festers.
- 1:53SPEAKER_02: And and that's the th that's the thing.
- 1:55SPEAKER_02: That is not a life.
- 1:56SPEAKER_02: Like you're now just feeling justified and self-important from people you don't know.
- 2:02SPEAKER_01: But these people grew up on these YouTube channels and different things where they, you know, these well, essentially they were acting for the most part, but there was a level of attempted realism a lot in a lot of these videos where they'd like take the two teen boys or early 20s boys, and they make the coolest rooms in their houses, and they take, you know, like this room's the slime room, and yeah, and all that.
- 2:23SPEAKER_01: So they grew up on a lot of this stuff, and now it's just going to the point it's like, well, I want to be the next influencer, I want to be the next this.
- 2:30SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 2:30SPEAKER_01: Dear God, can we not have haircuts on Hoffman?
- 2:34SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 2:35SPEAKER_02: And also, I think it's so funny because the only time that we were ever in the road is when we were playing either basketball or you're doing like a street hockey.
- 2:42SPEAKER_01: Did you oh, and then the net had to be moved because you saw the car coming?
- 2:46SPEAKER_02: And you'd uh every single time.
- 2:49SPEAKER_02: Yep.
- 2:49SPEAKER_02: And everybody got out of the road.
- 2:51SPEAKER_02: Why?
- 2:51SPEAKER_02: Because we were smart.
- 2:52SPEAKER_02: Yeah, we back.
- 2:53SPEAKER_02: I mean, yes, we were playing games in the road.
- 2:55SPEAKER_01: Well, you needed the space.
- 2:56SPEAKER_01: I don't mind that.
- 2:57SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 2:58SPEAKER_01: And by the way, normally you'd do that on a residential street, not like water.
- 3:02SPEAKER_02: Right, you would do it on like a cul-de-sac or something where there's like three cars.
- 3:06SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 3:07SPEAKER_01: Hold on.
- 3:08SPEAKER_01: Another kind of uh trend going on, you gotta be warned about this next.
