  Well, I bet some of you are probably feeling like this long

  and tedious journey through this book of the Bible.

  Yesterday was a shocker. It went on and on and on today

  is not nearly as bad. Don't you worry, but don't get

  too tied up in all the details, we read through this, it just
• 0:48
  let it wash over you, as you just consider how difficult it
• 0:54
  is and how detailed things need to be in order for things to be.

  Appropriate or possible for us, broken people to approach a
• 1:05
  perfectly, holy God and God makes his point by giving these
• 1:10
  incredible instructions which are awfully complicated and
• 1:13
  awfully particular. But that is to give these people
• 1:17
  this real sense that we need to get this, right?
• 1:21
  Because God and us are different and if we're going to approach
• 1:23
  him, we need to do this correctly so that we can hold
• 1:27
  God, and all the esteem that he deserves.

  So, in that Spirit, let's continue our reading today.

  And as we read together, Exodus chapter 30

  Then make another altar of acacia wood for burning incense,

  make it 18 inches square, and 36 inches high with horns at the

  corners carved from the same piece of wood as the altar

  itself, overlay the top sides and horns of the altar with pure

  people as you count them. Each person who is countered

  must give a small piece of silver as a sacred offering to

  the Lord. This payment is half a shekel
• 3:40
  based on the sanctuary shekel which equals 20 garages.
• 3:46
  All who have reached their 20th birthday must give this sacred
• 3:49
  offering to the Lord. When this offering is given to
• 3:52
  the Lord to purify your lives, making you write with him, the
• 3:55
  rich must not give more than the specified amount.
• 3:58
  And the poor must not give less receive this Ransom money from

  the Israelites and use it for the care of the Tabernacle.

  half pounds of cassia as measured by the weight of the

  olive oil. Like a skilled incense maker

  blend. These ingredients to make a holy

  anointing oil. Use this sacred oil to anoint,

  The incense altar, the altar of burnt offerings and all its

  utensils and the wash basin with its stand, consecrate them to

  Whatever touches them will also become holy anointing, Aaron.

  And his sons, also, consecrating them to serve me as priests and

  say, to the people of Israel. This holy anointing oil is

  reserved for me, from generation to generation.

  It must never be used to anoint anyone else and you must never
• 5:56
  make any blend like it for yourselves.

  It is Holy and you must treat it as holy anyone who makes a blend
• 6:03
  like it or anoint, someone other than a priest.

  Then the Lord said to Moses, gather fragrant spices, resin
• 6:13
  droplets, mollusk shell and galbanum and mix.

  These fragrant spices with pure frankincense weighed out and

  equal amounts using the usual techniques of the incense maker
• 6:25
  blend the spices together and sprinkle them with salt to
• 6:28
  produce a pure and holy incense grind some of the mixture into a

  us. Thank you for your love.

  Thank you for your presence that you would be with us, not in
• 7:45
  some far-off Cosmos. But right here, every moment of
• 7:49
  Our Lives. For each one of us, you are a
• 7:53
  glorious and generous God, and we love you.
