- 0:36Speaker 1: The hottest thing about my wife. That's a good question.
- 0:39Speaker 1: She has a very what would be the best way
- 0:43Speaker 1: to put this, She like takes care of a lot
- 0:45Speaker 1: of people. Oh, she's a nurturer. Yeah, yeah, she's a
- 0:49Speaker 1: social worker and was I We both have talked about this.
- 0:53Speaker 1: But she's just like born to do that and take
- 0:56Speaker 1: care of other people and her family members, you know,
- 1:00Speaker 1: this big dumb idiot. Yeah, she really is just such

- 1:14Speaker 1: he got that booty.
- 1:17Speaker 2: Okay, my my guy, Mikey, he does not have that booty,
- 1:24Speaker 2: but he does have salt and pepper hair, green eyes,
- 1:30Speaker 2: full lips. I think he is self flowing. But also
- 1:34Speaker 2: he's a really good writer. I love the way he
- 1:38Speaker 2: can tell a story with the pen. I mean, I
- 1:41Speaker 2: love it anytime. This is so cheesy. But even when
- 1:44Speaker 2: he sends me like long texts to explain like what
- 1:48Speaker 2: how his day went, I read those like they're a short.
- 1:51Speaker 1: Story, and I'm like, oh my god.
- 1:52Speaker 2: Oh yeah, he just has a way with words, and
- 1:54Speaker 2: that's really hot to me.
- 1:56Speaker 1: Yeah. Anytime someone I think, can use like it, it's
- 1:59Speaker 1: like a sign of intelligence, right yeah, use their brain.
- 2:01Speaker 1: Like there's something about if Corey is reading and has
- 2:05Speaker 1: her glasses on them. Oh yeah, smart, right now? I
- 2:10Speaker 1: love that. Oh seven one two eight zero one nine
- 2:14Speaker 1: eight seven. We want to know. The only thing that

- 2:35Speaker 1: It has been the past couple of days here, and
- 2:37Speaker 1: the only thing to rival the temperatures outside your significant
- 2:42Speaker 1: others that's all right.
- 2:43Speaker 2: So Gabe, you you expressed that the hottest thing about
- 2:47Speaker 2: your wife is that she's a nurturer and she got
- 2:50Speaker 2: a nice.
- 2:51Speaker 1: Booty, big caregiver.
- 2:52Speaker 2: Right. Yeah for me, Mikey, he is really great with words.
- 2:58Speaker 2: He's an excellent writer. He's got gorgeous green eyes and
- 3:01Speaker 2: salt and pepper hair.
- 3:03Speaker 1: So we took it to Big.
- 3:04Speaker 2: Ninety eight point seven's Facebook page, what is the hottest
- 3:07Speaker 2: thing about your partner? What I do love is people
- 3:10Speaker 2: really do be loving their partners.
- 3:12Speaker 1: They have securely nice things to say.
- 3:14Speaker 2: Mollie said, his lack of toxic masculinity.
- 3:18Speaker 1: And I like that. I think that's a man who's
- 3:20Speaker 1: in touch with his feelings. And I agree that that
- 3:22Speaker 1: is hot. That's wonderful. Yeah, Lindsey said, the way he
- 3:26Speaker 1: shows up for me and loves me. His eyes are
- 3:29Speaker 1: mesmerizing and his love is unmatched. Very swell, very sweet.
- 3:33Speaker 1: You know, I'll tell you what, any dude with some
- 3:35Speaker 1: good eyes I could not be more jealous of. I
- 3:37Speaker 1: have just these brown full of you know what up
- 3:40Speaker 1: to hear the old joke everyone always says when you
- 3:42Speaker 1: and they're just not great. Yeah, the terrible No, I'm curious.
- 3:47Speaker 1: I've always mad jealous of a good eyed guy.
- 3:50Speaker 2: A good eyed guy, No, but you have other great qualities.
- 3:53Speaker 2: We should call your wife Corey. What is the hottest
- 3:56Speaker 2: thing about.
- 3:56Speaker 1: Gabe when he leaves in the morning. Yay, don't be
- 4:01Speaker 1: so hard on yourself.
- 4:03Speaker 2: Mark said, it's too hard to narrow it to just one,
- 4:06Speaker 2: which I thought was sweet. Jason said, she does an
- 4:09Speaker 2: awesome job holding down the fort when I'm working. Also
- 4:12Speaker 2: the fact that we both love to listen to live
- 4:15Speaker 2: music together. Thank you for all you do, and he
- 4:17Speaker 2: tagged is who I'm assuming is his wife Nikki?
- 4:21Speaker 1: Very sweet? I love that. And then finally we have Lisa.
- 4:25Speaker 1: And now this is one I think anyone who's been
- 4:28Speaker 1: with their significant other for a long time can relate
- 4:30Speaker 1: to here. The fact that he's put up with me
- 4:33Speaker 1: for forty nine years. Oh man, that is both beautiful,
- 4:37Speaker 1: funny and is very very sweet. That is a long
- 4:40Speaker 1: time to be attached to someone, and not a lot
- 4:42Speaker 1: of people can say they've gotten to do that. That's true.
- 4:45Speaker 1: You know what wonderful? That is so hot? All right, Angie,
- 4:55Speaker 1: do you have a little victory from this morning, yesterday,
- 4:59Speaker 1: this this week, this decade? Oh, yes, I do.
- 5:03Speaker 2: I like most parents in the FM area, I'm trying
- 5:07Speaker 2: to figure out what I'm gonna do with my kids
- 5:10Speaker 2: for summer. School's gonna get out, and then what do
- 5:13Speaker 2: we do with these kids?
- 5:15Speaker 1: Right? Guess what? I figured out?
- 5:18Speaker 2: How to keep them busy for two weeks?
- 5:22Speaker 1: Wow?
- 5:22Speaker 2: Fourteen days, Yes, fourteen days. I'm shipping them off to
- 5:26Speaker 2: see their dad. Oh yeah, no, well, I've made it
- 5:30Speaker 2: so that they could go visit for two weeks. Their
- 5:34Speaker 2: dad lives out of state, but they'll be there in
- 5:36Speaker 2: time for Father's Day. Oh actually yeah, and then they'll
- 5:40Speaker 2: have two weeks with dads. So they're very excited. I'm
- 5:43Speaker 2: very excited. Dad is very excited. I mean, what a win.
- 5:47Speaker 1: Just a big kumbai of for everybody. Yeah, well, that's awesome,
- 5:51Speaker 1: my little victory. Normally this would not be a little victory.
- 5:54Speaker 1: This would usually really throw me off my game here.
- 5:58Speaker 1: But yesterday I took an app for two hours. And
- 6:02Speaker 1: I am not a nap person. I have no idea
- 6:05Speaker 1: what happened. I was laying on the couch kind of
- 6:08Speaker 1: doing the old phone, not paying attention to the TV.
- 6:12Speaker 1: Corey had just got home. Of course, she had been
- 6:14Speaker 1: home for thirty minutes and I was just zoned out,
- 6:17Speaker 1: fell asleep on the couch and woke up. It was
- 6:19Speaker 1: like seven. Oh wow, wait was it hard to get
- 6:21Speaker 1: back to Sara? Oh this is not great, Like I'm
- 6:24Speaker 1: in big trouble. But no, I basically went to bed
- 6:27Speaker 1: at about my normal bedtime, so I must have needed it.
- 6:29Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, I love this for you, And so
- 6:31Speaker 1: today I feel basically perfectly fine. I love it. I
- 6:35Speaker 1: was worried i'd be up till midnight. I'd be coming
- 6:37Speaker 1: in here wiping the crust out of my eyes, but no,
- 6:39Speaker 1: I'm ready to go on this Wednesday. Yeah, and you
- 6:41Speaker 1: kept the crust in that's right. I also have I
- 6:44Speaker 1: also have another shirt with buttons on today, so I'm
- 6:47Speaker 1: two for two. Yeah. All right. On the way, We've
- 6:49Speaker 1: got Taylor Swift and I'll have the tea coming up
- 6:52Speaker 1: here on Big ninety eight point seven. All right. I
- 6:56Speaker 1: saw this interesting post on Reddit, and I would not help,
- 7:00Speaker 1: but go, man, I I kind of agree with this.
- 7:04Speaker 1: Oh relatable for Gabe. Okay, and I'm kind of wondering, Hey,
- 7:10Speaker 1: am I the a hole for kind of feeling like this? Right?
- 7:14Speaker 1: In this Reddit post, it was talking about when this
- 7:18Speaker 1: person gets home from work, right, they normally kind of
- 7:21Speaker 1: have the house to themselves for a couple hours or
- 7:24Speaker 1: an hour whatever it was. Yeah, and occasionally when they
- 7:28Speaker 1: get home, you know, their partner, their car is in
- 7:31Speaker 1: the garage. They either got to work from home or
- 7:33Speaker 1: left early or whatever, and they kind of get like annoyed,
- 7:41Speaker 1: I don't have like an hour to myself whatever the
- 7:45Speaker 1: time is. And I was thinking about that. I was like,
- 7:48Speaker 1: you know, there are some days. There are some days
- 7:53Speaker 1: where my wife, whom I love to death, when I
- 7:56Speaker 1: get home and she either like got to work from
- 7:58Speaker 1: home or is going in late or came home early,
- 8:02Speaker 1: whatever the cases, you know, And I open up the
- 8:04Speaker 1: garage door and I see the car in there. I'm like, huh, goh,
- 8:09Speaker 1: dang it. Yeah, well you are the ah No, I'm
- 8:12Speaker 1: just kidding. And I was wondering, Yeah, is there anybody
- 8:15Speaker 1: else who could relate to that? They just and it's
- 8:18Speaker 1: not like I don't want her at home, but it
- 8:20Speaker 1: is nice. With our work, right, we are constantly constantly
- 8:25Speaker 1: interacting with other people. I mean eighty five to ninety
- 8:29Speaker 1: percent of our day is communication, especially you and I together. Yeah,
- 8:34Speaker 1: and then there's other people in the building that we're
- 8:36Speaker 1: constantly sharing ideas with it. It's it's just nice to
- 8:39Speaker 1: go home and not talk, think, or do anything for
- 8:43Speaker 1: like an hour, hour and a half.
- 8:45Speaker 2: I feel you so deeply on this, But it's not
- 8:48Speaker 2: my spouse. It's my kids. And I love my kids.
- 8:51Speaker 2: Obviously I had them, They're my favorite, right, But between
- 8:55Speaker 2: work and picking up my kids from school, I have
- 8:59Speaker 2: one to one and a half hours where it's just me,
- 9:03Speaker 2: where I don't have to talk to anyone, where I
- 9:05Speaker 2: can just decompress and catch up on my trashy reality
- 9:09Speaker 2: TV yeah, and scroll your phone, yes, and walk around
- 9:13Speaker 2: in my underwear like I'm trying to pack a lot
- 9:15Speaker 2: of things in into that hour and a half, right,
- 9:18Speaker 2: And so I think the big stressor for me is
- 9:21Speaker 2: headed towards summer, when there is no gap between work
- 9:25Speaker 2: and seeing my kids.
- 9:26Speaker 1: It's I go to work and then the kids are there.
- 9:29Speaker 1: So I feel you. Yeah, you go to work and you're,
- 9:33Speaker 1: you know, a big ninety eight point seven co host
- 9:36Speaker 1: on the morning show, and then you immediately go home
- 9:39Speaker 1: and your mom. Now you're always mom, but for that
- 9:42Speaker 1: hour hour and a half, you're still mom, but your
- 9:44Speaker 1: mom in sleep mode. Yeah, you put your computer on. Yeah,
- 9:48Speaker 1: I pretend those kids do not exist, right, So I
- 9:51Speaker 1: guess I was just wondering, Am I the well? Am
- 9:55Speaker 1: I the jerk?
- 9:56Speaker 2: If you want, I'm a jerk too, But seven oh
- 9:59Speaker 2: one two eight one ninety eight seven?
- 10:02Speaker 1: Do you empathize with us? Or do you want to
- 10:04Speaker 1: shame us? Let us know? Here we go. Credit card froud.
- 10:13Speaker 2: Yeah, I had to cancel my credit card and I'm
- 10:17Speaker 2: so bummed about it because it's my favorite credit card.
- 10:21Speaker 1: It's the one I pay on time.
- 10:22Speaker 2: It's the one that gets me through any crises.
- 10:27Speaker 1: But I got a.
- 10:28Speaker 2: Notification and someone tried to use my credit card at
- 10:33Speaker 2: some sort of wellness spot in Arizona. And while I
- 10:39Speaker 2: think that's an excellent idea I could use that, it
- 10:42Speaker 2: was not me.
- 10:43Speaker 1: I'm not an Arizona.
- 10:44Speaker 2: I'm here in Fargo, North Dakota, and I'm enjoying the
- 10:48Speaker 2: sunshine here, not an Arizona, and I'm not in a
- 10:50Speaker 2: wellness spa. So they were like, this was at you, girl,
- 10:53Speaker 2: No it was not. So now I had to cancel it.
- 10:55Speaker 2: They got to send me the new one. Well, it's annoying,
- 10:58Speaker 2: but it did make me think, like, what is the
- 11:01Speaker 2: wildest credit card or debit card fraud charges that you've
- 11:06Speaker 2: ever seen on?
- 11:07Speaker 1: Have you? Has this happened to you? Nothing that bad
- 11:11Speaker 1: has ever happened to me. The closest I can think
- 11:13Speaker 1: about was I was in Vegas with some friends. We
- 11:17Speaker 1: were enjoying the night as a bunch of young twenty
- 11:20Speaker 1: two twenty three year olds would do. And I set
- 11:22Speaker 1: my wallet down on a slot machine, and you know,
- 11:25Speaker 1: of course I got up and walked away. And no,
- 11:28Speaker 1: this is, I swear to God of one in a
- 11:30Speaker 1: million story. Someone found it, like and returned it. They
- 11:36Speaker 1: gave it back Vegas lost and found or whatever. Yeah,
- 11:42Speaker 1: and I got the wallet back and the only thing
- 11:45Speaker 1: that they had bought was a piece of pizza, like
- 11:48Speaker 1: a six dollars piece of pizza, which I was more
- 11:52Speaker 1: than willing to pay. Kinder speed. Yeah, because there's more. Yeah,
- 11:57Speaker 1: there's more problems than just the money, which obviously I
- 11:59Speaker 1: could cancel right away, but I needed my d to
- 12:02Speaker 1: get on a plane the next Yeah. Yeah, the other
- 12:05Speaker 1: thing that goes with that, as opposed to just the money.
- 12:08Speaker 1: But yeah, I know to say it, charge the six
- 12:10Speaker 1: bucks to get some pizza, And I said, you're welcome.
- 12:12Speaker 1: You should have bought two slices, right, Yeah. I was
- 12:15Speaker 1: just glad to have it back. So I don't know
- 12:16Speaker 1: if that's fraud per se. But someone did use my
- 12:19Speaker 1: card once without asking me, but I was more than
- 12:21Speaker 1: willing to pay it all.
- 12:22Speaker 2: Yeah, that's like the nicest story I've ever heard. The
- 12:26Speaker 2: responses we got on Facebook not as not as nice.
- 12:30Speaker 1: Ev said, Tamu, I've never ordered from there. Is it
- 12:34Speaker 1: tamu or Temu?
- 12:35Speaker 2: But it's that that website where I think they'd steal
- 12:39Speaker 2: your credit card information and sell it to other people.
- 12:43Speaker 1: She said, I've never ordered from there.
- 12:45Speaker 2: Holly said, thirteen Netflix accounts in Mexico all charged to
- 12:50Speaker 2: my card.
- 12:51Speaker 1: They were really trying to catch up on you season
- 12:54Speaker 1: four or whatever.
- 12:55Speaker 2: Holy supposed they've never heard of password sharing, I guess,
- 13:00Speaker 2: said my husband had one from a Christian bookstore.
- 13:04Speaker 1: That's very ironic. Yeah, stealing a credit card to go
- 13:09Speaker 1: to the Christian books. Yeah, that is interesting. Do I
- 13:12Speaker 1: kind of respect that?
- 13:13Speaker 2: And Lynn said I got charged for a tattoo.
- 13:17Speaker 1: I don't have a single one. That's great.
- 13:20Speaker 2: At least they're giving you ideas, right, I'd be so annoyed.
- 13:23Speaker 1: I have zero tattoos. I'm going to the old bank
- 13:25Speaker 1: statement and I see like Ron's tattoo parlor three hundred
- 13:29Speaker 1: dollars if you miss this was this yesterday? Yesterday Angie
- 13:42Speaker 1: was not sorry or how she felt about something? What
- 13:46Speaker 1: was it again? Yeah? Electric stove, electric stoves. That's right.
- 13:50Speaker 2: This is the chance to get it off your chest. Sorry,
- 13:53Speaker 2: not sorry. I feel a way about blink and Gabe,
- 13:58Speaker 2: I feel like you're fired up about something.
- 14:00Speaker 1: What are you sorry? Not sorry about? Sorry but not sorry.
- 14:03Speaker 1: Do you know what just just fries my eggs? Yeah?
- 14:09Speaker 1: It just blends. My nuggetry is people who do not
- 14:14Speaker 1: use blinkers. I hate it. There are two things in light.
- 14:21Speaker 1: There is nothing more lazy than not flipping like your
- 14:25Speaker 1: blinker to let all of the other people on the
- 14:28Speaker 1: road know where you're going. I mean it's safety right, Yes,
- 14:32Speaker 1: all you're doing is letting the other people around you
- 14:35Speaker 1: know your intentions with a vehicle. The only thing lazier
- 14:40Speaker 1: than not using your blinker to me is littering. And
- 14:43Speaker 1: so I guess what I've learned after unpacking this a
- 14:46Speaker 1: little bit is when you I don't care if you
- 14:48Speaker 1: go home and lay in your couch and do nothing
- 14:49Speaker 1: for all of eternity. Who cares? But when your laziness
- 14:52Speaker 1: is affecting me and the others around, I'm sorry. I'm
- 14:56Speaker 1: not sorry. I hate it.
- 14:58Speaker 2: So if I'm driving in front of and you see
- 15:01Speaker 2: me switch lanes without my blinker and then I toss
- 15:04Speaker 2: a wrapper out the window, what happens?
- 15:06Speaker 1: I am taking and driving it off a cliff. Okay,
- 15:10Speaker 1: use your blinker today in the area with big ninety
- 15:13Speaker 1: eight point seven. I'm sorry, but I'm not sorry.
- 15:18Speaker 2: Well, if you're looking to retire in the near future
- 15:23Speaker 2: or the far future, I have the best city for
- 15:27Speaker 2: you to retire it according to Forbes, And that's like
- 15:31Speaker 2: a reputable publication.
- 15:33Speaker 1: Yeah, that's trustworthy exactly Wikipedia.
- 15:36Speaker 2: No, because anybody can just go in there and write
- 15:38Speaker 2: whatever they want. Well, one of the best cities for
- 15:42Speaker 2: you to retire Fargo, North YEP.
- 15:47Speaker 1: Fargo has made the list.
- 15:48Speaker 2: Yeah, it's because it's the best in all ways. No,
- 15:54Speaker 2: the median home price is three hundred five thousand dollars,
- 15:58Speaker 2: which is twenty five below the national average.
- 16:02Speaker 1: Well, affordable housing. Affordable housing.
- 16:04Speaker 2: There's a good ratio of primary care doctors per capita.
- 16:09Speaker 1: That was good, good housing, good care.
- 16:11Speaker 2: Yeah, good air quality all right, And Gabe, I know
- 16:15Speaker 2: you're gonna love this.
- 16:16Speaker 1: It is very bikeable, yes, because I'm a part of
- 16:20Speaker 1: the bike community, that's right.
- 16:22Speaker 2: And I feel like when you retire there are more
- 16:24Speaker 2: you know, cyclists.
- 16:26Speaker 1: When you're retired, more time on your hands to bike
- 16:29Speaker 1: some more too. Yeah, exactly. And uh.
- 16:32Speaker 2: There are a couple of cons though, I will say this,
- 16:36Speaker 2: the cold winters and a serious crime rate above national average, that's.
- 16:41Speaker 1: What they listed.
- 16:42Speaker 2: But even so it's still one of the top cities
- 16:45Speaker 2: to retire.
- 16:46Speaker 1: I think that's cool. It is kind of hard though
- 16:48Speaker 1: to picture, you know, my eighty year old grandpa if
- 16:50Speaker 1: I had one, my eighty year old grandpa shoveling and
- 16:53Speaker 1: snow blowing the driveway in December January, you know, but
- 16:58Speaker 1: I think that's just really cool to know, a four housing,
- 17:00Speaker 1: great healthcare and what was the other biking things? Yeah, biking,
- 17:05Speaker 1: get your activities on.
- 17:06Speaker 2: So here's the thing, Gabe, whenever it is that you retire,
- 17:09Speaker 2: and that when I retire, we don't have to move.
- 17:12Speaker 1: That's right. We're already living the lights. We can just
- 17:16Speaker 1: wake up that day. Yeah. During Easter weekend, a fifteen
- 17:26Speaker 1: year old named Tucker. He went into cardiac arrest and
- 17:29Speaker 1: cardiac arrest and collapsed while trying out for his traveling
- 17:33Speaker 1: baseball team. That's horrible, that's right. His mother, Samantha, rushed
- 17:38Speaker 1: to her son when she heard someone say he was
- 17:40Speaker 1: having a seizure, but quickly realize that is hard. It
- 17:44Speaker 1: actually stopped. In that critical moment. A stranger named Jeanette
- 17:49Speaker 1: ran to the field performed CPR for about eight minutes
- 17:53Speaker 1: until the paramedics arrived. Now, this person who was at
- 17:56Speaker 1: the park, Samantha had to watch her own son's tryout,
- 18:00Speaker 1: he said, or excuse me, I'm sorry. Jeanette, who was
- 18:02Speaker 1: at the park watching her own son tryout, says she
- 18:06Speaker 1: hadn't used CPR in a long time, she was in
- 18:09Speaker 1: high school or learned it in high school, like forty
- 18:11Speaker 1: years ago. And she kept on doing her compressions by
- 18:15Speaker 1: humming the song Staying Alive, Staying Alive, and she worked
- 18:21Speaker 1: to save Evan's life. He was taking to the children's hospital,
- 18:24Speaker 1: where the doctors had to shock his heart. Evan spent
- 18:26Speaker 1: a few days in Acoma, but has since begun walking
- 18:29Speaker 1: and talking again while continuing his recover. Samantha credits Jeanette
- 18:37Speaker 1: with her divine intervention for saving her son's life, and
- 18:40Speaker 1: now they're both urging others to learn CPR. Samantha said,
- 18:44Speaker 1: miracles do happen. She could not be more grateful to
- 18:47Speaker 1: Jeanette who acted so quickly and was able to rescue
- 18:51Speaker 1: her son. I think that's pretty that's amazing. They talk
- 18:54Speaker 1: about it, and I know I've said this one hundred
- 18:56Speaker 1: times on the show, but we all want to hope
- 18:59Speaker 1: and think we would do the right thing and every
- 19:01Speaker 1: moment we wouldn't tense up or be afraid or scared
- 19:03Speaker 1: or whatever. But I think it's harder said than done. Yeah, now,
- 19:08Speaker 1: saving you know, a little kid, I think there'd be
- 19:10Speaker 1: a lot more instinct from parents out there and just
- 19:12Speaker 1: adults to try to help out or whatever. But there
- 19:14Speaker 1: are tons of other scenarios where it's like, you really
- 19:17Speaker 1: hope you would do what you can, But I think
- 19:19Speaker 1: it's harder than people think. You know.
- 19:21Speaker 2: That's why I like these good news stories, Gabe, because
- 19:24Speaker 2: I feel like it inspires us to, yes, be the
- 19:27Speaker 2: nice person.
- 19:27Speaker 1: If you can't find a nice person, you have to
- 19:30Speaker 1: be one. Oh you you ended the morning show for me.
- 19:32Speaker 1: I don't even have to say it today,
