- 0:43calling that out and letting us know.
- 0:45Okay, guys. So we see you all. All right. Big shout outs to Texas. Yeah.
- 0:49Dallas, Texas in the house, guys. We have Detroit, Great Georgia.
- 0:53Please continue to tap that screen and share this live because comments,
- 0:57they do affect the algorithm.
- 0:59Okay, guys. So don't just watch what we're saying. We need you to join the conversation.
- 1:04So I want you to drop those comments and also drop your city and state and let
- 1:09us know where you're from.
- 1:11Okay, guys. So let's take, you want to just set this guy we heard from?
- 1:16We can get into a little short scenario right now. Yes. You know,
- 1:20you have a man, he spends hours every day arguing with strangers online about politics.
- 1:25Now, we know a lot of this is going on right now, especially with so much political
- 1:30tension going on right now.
- 1:32Now, his family says that he's become very angry, disconnected,
- 1:37and he's miserable in real life because of what's going on politically and all
- 1:44the people that he's arguing with online.
- 1:46And I sympathize with him because I'm going to be honest with y'all.
- 1:50Some of this stuff I hear on the news about our president, it just makes me
- 1:58just furious. I'm serious.
- 2:00Literally, I am upset.
- 2:03But I don't take it on anybody else. So that's the key to that.
- 2:07You can be upset about what's going on, but you don't want to take it out on
- 2:10anybody else. All right, guys.
- 2:12So is social media becoming an emotional dumping ground?
- 2:16Or people simply showing us who they always were?
- 2:21In other words, those people who are speaking out now, now they find like they
- 2:25got a voice and they're telling you who they are. Were they always like that? What do you think?
- 2:30All right, guys, you tell us what you guys think. Put it in the comments. We want to hear from you.
- 2:35Okay, guys. So let's look at money stress.
- 2:39Is that really what's making people mad?
- 2:42Is it because they don't have the finances? What you think, Dr.
- 2:44J3? No, Dr. B, but let's talk about something real. All right.
- 2:50You know, you have bills because, you know, being broke, you know,
- 2:57that kind of stress, it hits different.
- 2:59Yeah, it do. Yeah, it do. When you can't pay your bills and you can't take care
- 3:02of your children, that's totally different.
- 3:04So financial pressure can change people, but people are worried about keeping
- 3:09the lights on, paying rent, buying groceries, or just surviving paycheck to paycheck.
- 3:15Frustration is going to build up and they're going to become angry.
- 3:18Yeah. And guys, let's be honest.
- 3:20Let's be completely honest here, guys. People are tired. You know,
- 3:25everything is expensive now.
- 3:27You know, the food prices are high.
- 3:30The insurance is high. The rent, the mortgage, everything is high.
- 3:35You walk in Walmart for three items and somehow spend $18, you know, or $80.
- 3:43And it's amazing because, you know, I went shopping last month.
- 3:49And I normally get the same things. You know, I usually don't experiment too much.
- 3:54And what cost about $45 last month, well, the month before that,
- 4:01actually, last month, it was almost $80.
- 4:06It almost doubled for the exact same thing.
- 4:11Either that, y'all, either that, or they're going to make the container smaller.
- 4:15And I know you guys remember that time when after COVID hit, that's what they did.
- 4:21Same price, smaller container. So that's what's happening.
- 4:24So financial stress creates emotional stress and emotional stress often shows
- 4:30us anger. That's why people are angry.
- 4:33Now, you know what else? Pride. You know, some people are struggling,
- 4:38but they are just too embarrassed to talk about. Yeah, that is true. Let's be real.
- 4:42You know, you're behind on your bills. You know, you're struggling.
- 4:45To keep food on the table, you know, especially if you're a man,
- 4:50you know, and let's be real, you know, if you're at home in a relationship.
- 4:56That woman, she's a little tense, you know, because the bills are piling up
- 5:00and you're supposed to be that provider and you're going through some financial issues.
- 5:05It's hard to talk to somebody and say, hey, I'm struggling right now to take
- 5:10care of my family, you know, because of that pride that you may have. Yeah.
- 5:14And, you know, Broker J3, you just said it.
- 5:17This hits men totally different because society teaches our men to suffer silently
- 5:24and still be the providers. That's what they normally do.
- 5:28Yeah. So somebody, y'all better hear that tonight. I mean, literally.
- 5:33So for some of y'all out there in these relationships, you know,
- 5:37and your man may be going through something right now, you know, don't beat him down.
- 5:42You know, it's tough out here for everybody.
- 5:45Yeah, it is. It is. All right, guys. So sometimes people are angry.
- 5:51I mean, aren't just angry. It's more than that. They're angry at life.
- 5:55You know, they use the term everything, you know, I'm just lifing because life has a tendency.
- 6:02Guess what? It throw you a curveball every now and then and you got to know
- 6:06how to deal with that curveball.
- 6:08OK, so let's think about this, guys. What if a husband starts becoming short
- 6:12tempered and withdrawn after he's been laid off from work?
- 6:16There are some people who have been laid off, you know, A.I.'s replacing, taking a lot of jobs.
- 6:21His wife thinks he's changed and no longer loves her.
- 6:25But in reality, he feels ashamed because he can't provide for the family the
- 6:30way that he used to. Yeah.
- 6:32So, guys, real quick, if you've ever been financially stressed,
- 6:35just type been there in the comments.
- 6:39Ladies, let me ask y'all something.
- 6:42Do men suffer silently? All right, Ms. Empowered, how are you doing this evening?
- 6:48Thank you for joining us. Happy birthday, Ms.
- 6:52Empowered. Yes, happy birthday to you. Thank you for joining us. Yes, yes, yes.
- 6:58So guys, again, do you think men are suffering in silence? What do you think?
- 7:04All right. So why do men struggle without, then they can't open up emotionally?
- 7:11Why is it me? And tell us why y'all struggle silently.
- 7:15Let us know. I mean, it depends on the man.
- 7:18Oh, and you and you're right, because some some men can talk about it with their
- 7:24significant other and some can't, you know.
- 7:26But you have to keep in mind, you know, all men were not raised the same.
- 7:30You know, my father used to talk to us all the time, you know,
- 7:37and I never had an issue sharing things with people because,
- 7:41you know, that's what my father taught me.
- 7:43So imagine if you was in a household where, you know, you either didn't have
- 7:48a father or you didn't have that mentor to be able to talk to you or let you
- 7:53know that it's okay to talk about it.
- 7:55You know, so it depends on the man, as Miss Empower said, and it also depends
- 8:00on, you know, how that man was raised.
- 8:02Yeah, that part, that part. I agree with you, Miss Empower. Okay, guys.
- 8:06So let's hear from y'all comment. You know, those comments do affect the algorithm.
- 8:11So let's talk about hurt people who hurt other people.
- 8:14So hurt people hurt people. And you know what?
- 8:18That is so true, Dusty, because, you know, how many of you guys have experienced
- 8:22where somebody was having a bad day? and because they was having a bad day, they take it out on you.
- 8:27You did nothing wrong to them, but because they was having a bad day.
- 8:31Now they're taking it out on you like you was the reason why they had a bad day.
- 8:36Like earlier when we were talking about a young lady that lost her job.
- 8:41So she took it out on the cashier because she lost her job.
- 8:45So sometimes hurt people can hurt people.
- 8:49Okay, Broker J3, can I say something that might hit hard tonight? Go ahead, Dog B.
- 8:54Okay, so everybody who look angry out there, guys.
- 8:58They ain't necessarily angry some people are just hurting and they don't know
- 9:02how to express that anger okay go ahead and explain that okay we're going to
- 9:06talk about the childhood trauma yes someone may be going through a divorce yes
- 9:11husband cheating or whatever wife cheating whatever.
- 9:15Betrayal losing loved ones y'all know those of you who had them adult children
- 9:20you know how that roll you know how that goes the church the church some churches
- 9:24are in a shamble right now toxic relationships, being rejected.
- 9:29Some people never heal from those type of traumas.
- 9:34So what happens, Doug? That pain is going to eventually turn into bitterness.
- 9:39Those people are going to become bitter because that hurt is going to turn into
- 9:43walls that they're going to put up around themselves because then that fear
- 9:48is going to eventually turn into anger. That's the only way they know how to cope.
- 9:52Ooh, that right there. But hear me clearly, people, pain may explain your behavior,
- 9:57but healing is still your responsibility.
- 10:00In other words, however you're feeling is still your responsibility to get help
- 10:05because help is available.
- 10:07So somebody type in the comments right now, healing is my responsibility.
- 10:12Type it in the comments, healing is my responsibility. Because you can't keep
- 10:17punishing new people that you meet for old pain.
- 10:22That old pain is never going to go away unless you deal with it. So true, so true.
- 10:26So we're going to get into this other scenario. You know, you have a woman constantly
- 10:30lashing out in every relationship because she was cheated on years ago.
- 10:36Now, every disagreement is turned into accusations because she was never healed.
- 10:41Now, we talked about this in a couple of podcasts that we've had, Dr.
- 10:45V, about women getting into these relationships and they have not healed or
- 10:51men getting into the relationship and they have not healed.
- 10:54Now, we have By You says, I'm a part of a man and woman group.
- 10:58We talk about all issues.
- 11:00We build each other's lives up.
- 11:03Can you drop the name of that group for some of our viewers who may be interested?
- 11:08Yeah, by you, drop the name of that group. Yeah, because everybody needs to
- 11:11do something. You'll be surprised.
- 11:12It may be some people that joined us that may need to be a part of that group. Yes, yes, yes.
- 11:17And so, you know, what were you saying again, Broker J3, about,
- 11:21you know, every disagreement may turn into accusation?
- 11:23Yeah, because they never was healed in the first place.
- 11:27We talked about how some people be in relationships. They've been hurt.
- 11:31And before they get a chance to heal themselves, they're already in another relationship.
- 11:35Exactly. Why go jump in another relationship when you hadn't healed from that relationship first?
- 11:40Because you're going to hurt that person that don't know you.
- 11:44They're hopping in a relationship with you thinking that you're ready for a
- 11:48new relationship, not knowing that you're still hurting from the one you just
- 11:53got out of. Just got out of.
- 11:54It is never a good idea. I'm going to say this to jump from relationship to relationship.
- 11:59You need your body you need time for your body
- 12:02to heal and I tell people all the time you need
- 12:05to learn to love yourself before you
- 12:09move on to another relationship I totally agree alright shout
- 12:13out your majesty Boss Bae again thank you Miss Unpower she says everyone needs
- 12:19time before getting into another relationship 100% agree with you and that time
- 12:25depends on the person there is no time frame
- 12:29You know, if somebody tell you, hey, take a couple of months,
- 12:32it may take you a couple of years. I'm just being real. It depends.
- 12:35Every person is different. And because the pain that that person goes through
- 12:40is different than the other person.
- 12:42Now, Bayou said it's called the First Askena Academy.
- 12:48Okay. All right, guys. So you see that in the comment? First Askena Academy.
- 12:54If you want to meet with a group where you can just talk, have someone to talk
- 12:59to. It's always a good thing to do.
- 13:01And another thing I want to say, we've talked about people jumping from relationship to relationship.
- 13:06Now, my generation is a little different. We didn't do, we don't do that.
- 13:10But this newer generation, I'm telling y'all, you know, those of you who have
- 13:15children that may be in their late 20s to 30s, maybe early 40s,
- 13:20they do not mind jumping from relationship to relationship.
- 13:23It is not a healthy thing to do because you have not healed.
- 13:27That's right. And sometimes that brings on more drama. Yeah.
- 13:31So big shout outs. We got Chicago watching. Still got Dallas in the house.
- 13:35Florida's also in the building.
- 13:38Alabama. Okay. Oh, Alabama.
- 13:41And we still got South Carolina hanging in there. And, oh, wow,
- 13:44we have Los Angeles. Okay. West Coast.
- 13:48Okay. Got West Coast in the house. So keep tapping that screen.
- 13:51Keep sending those gifts, guys.
- 13:52And make sure you please send some love and follow our top supporters.
- 13:56We always like supporting our top supporters because we like to help their platform grow as well.
- 14:03Okay. Nova says, meet with a groomer. You got to be more specific on that.
- 14:08And Bayou says, true, true. So, and then we've got Nova that says she is married to seven men.
- 14:15I want to know who that is. Seven? Okay. Let me know who that is.
- 14:19He won them seven. Oh, wow.
- 14:21Wow. Okay. All right. So let's get into this.
- 14:25Relationships are under pressure. Yeah. You know, let's be real, guys.
- 14:28We already know relationships seem harder now than they've ever been before.
- 14:32Before getting into relationships, being in a relationship,
- 14:36was was much easier than it is now so
- 14:39let's get into it and just think about it because a
- 14:42lot of people are just not patient you know patience is
- 14:45lower stress is higher and expectations
- 14:48are have become somewhat unrealistic but you
- 14:51know what it's not happening the thing and you hear this all the
- 14:54time everybody wants peace everybody want peace
- 14:57i want my peace yes but nobody
- 15:00wants to communicate how can you have peace and you don't want to communicate
- 15:07you can't shut down and you i want peace okay so baby tell me what's going on
- 15:12or honey or whatever be with mad female whatever these case may be tell me what's
- 15:16going on i just don't want to talk about it right now,
- 15:19yeah yeah just doesn't make sense
- 15:21and then guys uh another uh thing that's affecting relationships too,
- 15:26is social media has you comparing your relationship to the relationships that you see online.
- 15:34And guess what? We already talked about this. We mentioned this.
- 15:38Some of those relationships online are fake.
- 15:41They're not real, you know, and then, you know, you'll have some time where
- 15:45somebody will reveal it.
- 15:46You know, if you read some of the comments, they'll say, well,
- 15:49that couple is not long. They're not even together anymore.
- 15:52So stop comparing your relationship to what you see on social media.
- 15:57I appreciate that comment there.
- 15:59You're so true about that, about them toxic relationships.
- 16:02Thank you so much for that comment. You know, somebody is watching a celebrity
- 16:05relationship online thinking that theirs is supposed to be like that.
- 16:09Let me tell you something. some of these relationships and
- 16:12we keep saying it that you see on these social media platforms they
- 16:16are not real let's let's let's keep
- 16:18it 100 they are not they look good they look like they are doing this for the
- 16:24gram they're doing it for the facebook they're doing it for the likes they're
- 16:28doing it for the followers they're not they're not like like here's an example
- 16:32the real housewives we're gonna go back we're gonna go back we're gonna go back
- 16:35that's a perfect example we're
- 16:37talk about Rashida and Dirk they were named Dirk whatever but for years.
- 16:42They made it seem like he was cheating. They had a baby on the way and all that
- 16:46stuff like that. All that was just for views, guys.
- 16:50Rashida and her husband, they still together. They still love each other.
- 16:53If this man was out there cheating about to have a baby and all this stuff,
- 16:55she would have been left him.
- 16:57So get real, guys. Don't fall for the okie-dokie. This is all for views so that
- 17:02they can keep getting money and they can keep adding another season under their
- 17:07belt so they can keep getting paid.
- 17:08And definitely don't be, you know, I'm not a reality show fan.
- 17:15I, you know, I don't like to see black women behaving like that because it's
- 17:20bad enough. We're all stereotyped to think that we're loud and angry and,
- 17:25you know, act some kind of way.
- 17:26And when you portray that on TV, you just add more to that.
- 17:31And I'm just not a fan of that. So, you know, like I said, what you see on social
- 17:35media is not always, not social media, but the real life, the reality shows
- 17:40is not always true, nor social media is already true. Just think about it.
- 17:45Social media only show edits.
- 17:50Real Housewives of the Ladder, all that stuff been edited, social media videos edited.
- 17:56Come on, guys. You don't know what's real and what's not.
- 17:59Yeah. So let me ask you guys something controversial, okay?
- 18:05Are people quitting relationships too fast now?
- 18:09Are they quitting these relationships too fast? Okay. Yeah. Some of them are.
- 18:13Just think about it. Sometimes, yes, I'm going to say. But also,
- 18:17some people stay too long in unhealthy relationships. That's what's happening, guys.
- 18:22What do you think, Broker J3? Yeah, I think so as well. And Bayou says, yeah, that's true.
- 18:28Everything you see on the internet and TV is for views and likes and money.
- 18:34Okay, now Nova said, like you two. I'm not sure what you mean.
- 18:39I've been reading a couple of comments from Nova. I'm not sure.
- 18:45I'm not sure. I'm not sure where they're going with that. Quit before you start. I'm not sure. Okay.
- 18:52All right. Now, that's a conversation. So we're going to get into another scenario real quick, guys.
- 18:58You know, a couple argues almost every single day.
- 19:01They're arguing over the bills piling up. The kids are stressing them out.
- 19:06The work is just totally overwhelming them. They think that they're falling
- 19:10out of love, but really the life pressure is just crushing them.
- 19:16Yeah, and so they're getting it confused because they're so consumed and overwhelmed with the problems.
- 19:21So is it really love problem? I don't think that's really a love problem because
- 19:26I think they probably still love each other.
- 19:28What do you think, bro? You know, I think it's a lot of the life pressure because
- 19:33sometimes, you know, that life pressure dot B,
- 19:36it really can get the best of you, you know, and it can definitely take a toll on relationships.
- 19:44Okay, guys. So put it in the comment. Do you think it's a love problem or do
- 19:48you think it's life pressure?
- 19:50Which one? Okay, guys. So while you're adding that comment, we're going to say everybody mad online.
- 19:59Yeah, it really is. Okay, so can we talk about social media one more time?
- 20:06Okay, guys, so let's do it. All right. Why everybody is so brave online?
- 20:13Because we talked about it. They have that little keyboard courage,
- 20:18not willing to say nothing face-to-face, but they'll use that keyboard up something.
- 20:25You know, folks are arguing over everything.
- 20:28Again, we talked about it earlier. They're arguing over politics,
- 20:33religion, celebrities, parenting, church, relationship.
- 20:36Some of them even arguing over their chicken recipes. Okay.
- 20:40And then so what happens is when they're arguing all the time,
- 20:43people attack first instead of listening. And that's not good.
- 20:47That's not good. Yeah. So you post one opinion and suddenly people are writing
- 20:52novels in your comments, you know, about that one opinion that you have. That you have, yeah.
- 20:58And this is happening because people are emotionally triggered by,
- 21:03you know, something that they read. And that's what's happening. Yeah.
- 21:07And honestly, we already know this. Misery loves company.
- 21:11Have you ever had that friend that she's miserable and she wants you to be just
- 21:15as miserable as she is? Come on.
- 21:18People love lies over truth is sad, too.
- 21:22Totally agree, Bear. Yeah, yeah. Totally, totally agree.
- 21:26All right, so let's get into this other scenario that, you know,
- 21:31there's a man, he spends all day online and debating strangely.
- 21:36You know and and now his wife
- 21:40feels like he's become emotionally distant
- 21:43and just outright angry yeah
- 21:47and there are some people if you've been we've even
- 21:50had trolls on our websites who you know
- 21:53troll us and and you know want to speak out on
- 21:56behalf of the president you know and always going
- 21:59to support him no matter what and i think some
- 22:01of them have may have been consumed you
- 22:05know and then you know the algorithms know that they're supporting
- 22:08him so it's going to continue to generate that information but
- 22:12i hope they have not been consumed and as to where
- 22:14it's controlling their lives so is social media
- 22:18helping people cope or is it making
- 22:20yeah or is it making things worse yeah yeah i
- 22:24think in some particular cases is making this worse so thank
- 22:27you guys for those comments nova we
- 22:30appreciate your comments even though some of them are
- 22:33different yeah this empowered and black thank
- 22:36you for joining us as well and jose ramon
- 22:39perez thank you for joining us as well we appreciate
- 22:42you guys thank you pretty bo thank you guys so
- 22:45much all right so let's just jump in this so how
- 22:49do we fix you know what's going
- 22:52on with all the anger that people are having okay
- 22:55okay dot b enough diagnosing the.
- 22:58Problem how do we fix this first people need
- 23:02to rest I said they need to take a
- 23:05time out and we're talking about real rest we're talking.
- 23:08About not scrolling on social media all night or.
- 23:11Just put that phone down for a couple days put it down when you got that itch.
- 23:16The jump on social media check yourself and say no not today I need to take
- 23:22a break because right now social media is consuming everybody yeah second guys.
- 23:31You know, therapy and prayer, much prayer.
- 23:34They are not a weakness. They are considered strength. So I would recommend
- 23:39that they do that because there's nothing wrong with seeing a therapist.
- 23:44And definitely there's nothing wrong with prayer.
- 23:47Yeah, that's right. Embarrassed as people need detox from it.
- 23:51You're right because social media, it is an energy drainer.
- 23:56Come on, let's be real. Is it powerful or ask yourself, is it worth losing your family? It's not.
- 24:02It's a very important question. It's really not because what you guys should
- 24:05realize by now, if you haven't already, especially the way times are going.
- 24:10Family right now, families need to stay closer and tighter than ever before
- 24:15because we don't know where this world is going. No, we don't.
- 24:20And protect those babies. Yes. So I think families need to really hunker down
- 24:25and tighten up and get more closer than they've ever been before.
- 24:30And third, you know, stop taking your frustration out on innocent people.
- 24:35If you're having a bad day or whatever.
- 24:39Sit down somewhere. sit down somewhere sit down calm your
- 24:42nerves and do not take it
- 24:45out on somebody that had nothing to do
- 24:48with what's going on with you and let me say this
- 24:51you know you know when I was telling you guys about the the woman that went
- 24:54in the Walmart and was cutting up an older lady that was just taking it out
- 24:58on this young guy a lot of people put in the comment section I wish I had knew
- 25:03about it you know saying that if I was his mama or his sister that they would
- 25:07have went down there and they would have whooped her butt.
- 25:09You know, I don't encourage anything like that, but you have to think about that.
- 25:13That was somebody's child that you were verbally abusing.
- 25:17And so you may not be lucky the next time. Yeah.
- 25:21Yeah. Okay. So learn emotional regulation. It will cost you.
- 25:25I mean, you will be glad you learned how to regulate that. Yeah. And
- 25:28Cookies4445 said hey i'm officially
- 25:32a mary k consultant and i am working on
- 25:35my first big goal 30 customers okay
- 25:39all right uh cookie we'll appreciate that
- 25:42and uh hopefully uh if any of our followers are are into your products hopefully
- 25:48they'll they'll they'll shot shot you out or hit you in your dms yeah all right
- 25:53guys and you also have to learn how to communicate communication is key if you've
- 25:59I've been having issues, struggling with it.
- 26:02Learn how to communicate. And it's okay to reach out to family members during
- 26:06this time. There's nothing wrong with that.
- 26:09Listen, there is nothing wrong with reaching out to family.
- 26:13Yeah. And also, you want to learn forgiveness. It's okay to forgive somebody.
- 26:18Actually, when you forgive someone, it actually empowers you.
- 26:22You don't really do it for them. You're actually doing it for yourself.
- 26:26And that's what people don't understand. They don't. forgiveness is not for the other person.
- 26:32It's for yourself. It's because you'll never be able to move on mentally if
- 26:38you're still holding that grudge against that other person. And maybe.
- 26:42Just maybe bring some kindness back. Yes, bring a little kindness. It goes a long way.
- 26:48You never know what battles someone is fighting privately. You never know what
- 26:53somebody is going through. You really don't. Exactly.
- 26:56Somebody needed to hear that tonight. Okay, guys. So thank you again.
- 27:01We've got Nova. Keep those comments coming.

- 27:18Definitely have patience.
- 27:20Mary Darvizel, give us your final thoughts on tonight's podcast.
- 27:24Okay, guys. In my opinion, now this is just my opinion. The truth is that many
- 27:28people are carrying a lot of invisible burdens.
- 27:33You can't see what they're going through.
- 27:35But anger cannot become permission for you to mistreat people.
- 27:40I don't care what you're going through. You still don't have a right to mistreat people.
- 27:44Healing is very important in this process.
- 27:48Accountability matters.
- 27:50Healing, grace, all of those things matters.
- 27:54And if you want a better world, we must become healthier people emotionally,
- 28:00mentally, and spiritually.
- 28:01And I'm going to get back to this old saying, treat people how you want to be treated.
- 28:06Yeah, I totally agree with you, beat with that one. You know, guys, it's like this.
- 28:12Life is already hard right now for a lot of people, okay?
- 28:17But don't let the hardships harden your heart, you know? Have a little tenderness.
- 28:24It's already saying, a little tenderness, you know?
- 28:27You know, be kind anyway.
- 28:30Even if it's tough, be kind.
- 28:33Speak kindly always. And I mean always. It really goes a long way.
- 28:39And love always, you know? it's so much hatred out there, guys.
- 28:45You know, sometimes you have to break that with that love.
- 28:49Because one smile, one encouraging word.
- 28:54One moment of patience may save somebody who is ready to give up.
- 29:00That is true. That is true.
