Cigar Smuggling Bust at Spanish Border | Andorra News
Spanish customs nabbed a bus passenger at the Farga de Moles border crossing with nearly 1,500 undeclared cigars worth over $25,000—hidden in a suitcase during a routine check from Andorra. The suspect, a 37-year-old man, admitted to buying them but forgot to declare them. Authorities are now pursuing smuggling charges as the Tax Agency evaluates the haul. This bust was a joint operation between the Guardia Civil and the Tax Agency, with the case pending judicial review.
