• 0:25
SPEAKER_00: You know that when your faith is tested, you learn to be patient in suffering.
• 0:31
SPEAKER_00: If you let that patience work in you, the end result will be good.
• 0:37
SPEAKER_00: You will be mature and complete.
• 0:40
SPEAKER_00: You will be all that God wants you to be.
• 0:43
SPEAKER_00: Do any of you need wisdom?
• 0:45
  SPEAKER_00: Ask God for it.
• 0:47
SPEAKER_00: He is generous and enjoys giving to everyone.
• 0:51
SPEAKER_00: So he will give you wisdom.
• 0:54
SPEAKER_00: But when you ask God you must believe.
• 0:57
  SPEAKER_00: Don't doubt him.
• 1:00
SPEAKER_00: Whoever doubts is like a wave in the sea that is blown up and down by the wind.
• 1:06
SPEAKER_00: People like that are thinking two different things at the same time.
• 1:13
SPEAKER_00: They can never decide what to do, so they should not think they will receive anything from the Lord.
• 1:22
SPEAKER_00: True riches Believers who are poor should be glad that God considers them so important.
• 1:30
SPEAKER_00: Believers who are rich should be glad when bad things happen that humble them.
• 1:36
SPEAKER_00: Their riches will not keep them from disappearing as quickly as wildflowers.
• 1:43
SPEAKER_00: As the sun rises and gets hotter, the heat dries up the plants and the flowers fall off.
• 1:52
SPEAKER_00: The flowers that were so beautiful are now dead.
• 1:56
SPEAKER_00: That is how it is with the rich.
• 2:00
SPEAKER_00: While they are still making plans for their business, they will die.
• 2:06
SPEAKER_00: Temptation does not come from God.
• 2:10
SPEAKER_00: Great blessings belong to those who are tempted and remain faithful.
• 2:16
SPEAKER_00: After they have proved their faith, God will give them the reward of eternal life.
• 2:22
SPEAKER_00: God promises to all people who love Him Whenever you feel tempted to do something bad, you should not say God is tempting me.
• 2:32
SPEAKER_00: Evil cannot tempt God, and God Himself does not tempt anyone.
• 2:38
SPEAKER_00: You are tempted by the evil things you want.
• 2:43
SPEAKER_00: Your own desire leads you away and traps you.
• 2:47
SPEAKER_00: Your desire grows inside of you until it results in sin.
• 2:53
SPEAKER_00: Then the sin grows bigger and bigger and it finally ends in death.
• 2:59
SPEAKER_00: My dear brothers and sisters, do not be fooled about this.
• 3:04
SPEAKER_00: Everything good from God is from God.
• 3:10
SPEAKER_00: Every perfect gift is from him.
• 3:13
SPEAKER_00: Those good gifts come down from the Father who made all the lights in the sky.
• 3:20
SPEAKER_00: But God never changes like the shadows from those lights.
• 3:24
SPEAKER_00: He is always the same.
• 3:27
SPEAKER_00: God decided to give us life through the true message He sent to us.
• 3:33
SPEAKER_00: He wanted us to be the most important of all that He created.
• 3:40
  SPEAKER_00: Listening and obeying.
• 3:42
SPEAKER_00: My dear brothers and sisters, always be more willing to listen than to speak.
• 3:49
SPEAKER_00: Keep control of your anger.
• 3:52
SPEAKER_00: Anger does not help you live the way God wants.
• 3:59
SPEAKER_00: So get rid of everything evil in your lives, every kind of wrong you do.
• 4:04
SPEAKER_00: Be humble and accept God's teaching that is planted in your hearts.
• 4:10
SPEAKER_00: This teaching can save you.
• 4:13
SPEAKER_00: Do what God's teaching says.
• 4:16
SPEAKER_00: Don't just listen and do nothing.
• 4:20
SPEAKER_00: When you only sit and listen, you are fooling yourselves.
• 4:24
SPEAKER_00: Hearing God's teaching and doing nothing is like looking at your face in the mirror and doing nothing about what you saw.
• 4:33
SPEAKER_00: You go away and immediately forget how bad you looked.
• 4:38
SPEAKER_00: But when you look into God's perfect law that sets people free, pay attention to it.
• 4:47
SPEAKER_00: If you do what it says, you will have God's blessing.
• 4:52
SPEAKER_00: Never just listen to his teaching and forget what you have heard.
• 4:58
SPEAKER_00: The true way to worship God you might think you are a very religious person, but if your tongue is out of control, you are fooling yourself.
• 5:11
SPEAKER_00: Your careless talk makes your offerings to God worthless.
• 5:17
SPEAKER_00: The worship that God wants is this caring for orphans or widows who need help and keeping yourself free from the world's evil influence.
• 5:30
SPEAKER_00: This is the kind of worship that God accepts as pure and good.
