- 0:00Speaker 1: Three things you need to know.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Well, good morning, just after six o'clock on this Wednesday morning.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Hi there, thank you for starting your day with us.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Where he's got those three things.
- 0:09Speaker 3: The Grammy CEO has announced that the show will continue
- 0:12Speaker 3: on February second.
- 0:13Speaker 4: In LA despite the fires.
- 0:15Speaker 3: He did say that the show's new goal is to
- 0:17Speaker 3: quote raise additional funds to support wildfire relief efforts and
- 0:21Speaker 3: honoring the bravery and dedication of first responders.
- 0:24Speaker 4: Who risk their lives to protect ours.
- 0:27Speaker 3: The Recording Academy has already pledged a million dollars through
- 0:30Speaker 3: their nonprofit Music Cares to the Los Angeles fire relief effort.
- 0:34Speaker 3: It does look like music labels have taken a different.
- 0:36Speaker 4: Viewpoint, though.
- 0:37Speaker 3: Major labels like Universal Music Group and Warner Music Group
- 0:40Speaker 3: have canceled all Grammy.
- 0:42Speaker 4: Focused events, so there won't be any events from.
- 0:44Speaker 3: Those specific labels happening around the Grammys, which are typically
- 0:49Speaker 3: really big events for them. So obviously they made that
- 0:54Speaker 3: decision with a lot of conversation. Children's YouTuber Miss Rachel
- 0:59Speaker 3: aka the Next Rogers is going to have her show
- 1:03Speaker 3: on Netflix. So the four episode season of Miss Rachel
- 1:06Speaker 3: is going to have interactive lessons that teach letters, numbers, colors, shapes,
- 1:11Speaker 3: and more.
- 1:12Speaker 4: The episodes are going to.
- 1:13Speaker 3: Be available in English with subtitles in thirty three different.
- 1:16Speaker 4: Languages, which is really amazing.
- 1:18Speaker 3: And those episodes are going to be available January twenty seventh,
- 1:21Speaker 3: so really soon, with more to come later in the year.
- 1:24Speaker 2: I wish my kids were young enough to know mister.
- 1:26Speaker 2: I see like little clips online and how much terrible
- 1:29Speaker 2: I know. I see that people love her, and kids
- 1:30Speaker 2: these days love her. My kids, I feel like, are
- 1:32Speaker 2: just a little too old. Yeah, it makes me realize,
- 1:35Speaker 2: Oh I miss those days, all those little cute little
- 1:37Speaker 2: kids shows and Coco Melon and all that stuff.
- 1:39Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:40Speaker 3: Well, now the new thing is miss Rachel and it
- 1:42Speaker 3: looks like she's doing really well. But you know, Netflix
- 1:44Speaker 3: is huge, like I said, with subtitles in thirty three
- 1:46Speaker 3: different languages, which is massive for her and for everybody
- 1:50Speaker 3: who wants to have an educational show for their kids
- 1:52Speaker 3: to watch.
- 1:53Speaker 4: This makes me really really sad. Hop Smith in Midtown
- 1:57Speaker 4: has announced.
- 1:57Speaker 3: That they're closing this Our Shaw was the first restaurant
- 2:01Speaker 3: that I went to with Zach here in Nashville.
- 2:05Speaker 4: When I moved here. Yeah, so it has a lot
- 2:08Speaker 4: of like sentimental value for me.
- 2:10Speaker 3: Their final day is gonna be Sunday, January nineteenth, So
- 2:13Speaker 3: this Sunday they do have a two for one special
- 2:16Speaker 3: on all beer, wine and liquor from now until closing day.
- 2:19Speaker 3: This is your reminder, and we say it all the
- 2:21Speaker 3: time on Ricky zach Amano in the morning, shop and
- 2:24Speaker 3: dine locally. A lot of these local spots just can't
- 2:27Speaker 3: keep up with the rent prices that are escalating, and
- 2:30Speaker 3: we need to make sure that Nashville stays Nashville. I
- 2:32Speaker 3: know everybody complains that. You know, it's growing so much
- 2:34Speaker 3: and all these things are changing. You gotta shop and
- 2:37Speaker 3: dine locally. It's so important. I'm Ricky Sanchez and those
- 2:41Speaker 3: are the three things you need to know.
- 2:42Speaker 6: You and zactly try to get out there before Sunday.
- 2:44Speaker 3: I want to, but I'm also doing dry January and
- 2:46Speaker 3: that might make me.
- 2:47Speaker 6: Slip up, So I understand.
- 2:49Speaker 4: I mean, a's two for one special on on drinks.
- 2:52Speaker 2: Come on, it's a bummer, really, I feel I wish
- 2:56Speaker 2: I had some sort of solution for you, but I don't.
- 2:58Speaker 2: We have Kelsey Vallery tickets again this morning. First caller
- 3:01Speaker 2: of the day within ten minutes we'll ask get a call.
- 3:03Speaker 6: The window was on the.
- 3:04Speaker 5: River Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning.
- 3:06Speaker 2: One five, Yeah, boozy, it's one o seven to five
- 3:10Speaker 2: the River with UH tickets to see Kelsey Ballerina.
- 3:13Speaker 6: That's a solid prize all week for the first caller
- 3:15Speaker 6: of the day.
- 3:16Speaker 4: She's playing bridgeton Arena January thirty. First you can be.
- 3:19Speaker 3: There just by calling us and waking up early with Ricky,
- 3:21Speaker 3: Zach and Mano in the morning six one, five, seven,
- 3:24Speaker 3: three seven, nine, one oh seven.
- 3:26Speaker 6: Expect some small talk though we're gonna get to know
- 3:28Speaker 6: you have been.
- 3:29Speaker 4: Kevin loves small talk so much, not.
- 3:31Speaker 6: Like in real life, but in this setting. I'm all
- 3:33Speaker 6: for us.
- 3:34Speaker 4: It's the only time you like it. So you shove
- 3:35Speaker 4: it all.
- 3:36Speaker 6: In right here, controlled environment. I'm in control.
- 3:39Speaker 1: First call of the day one oh seven, five of
- 3:41Speaker 1: the River.
- 3:42Speaker 5: Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning.
- 3:44Speaker 4: We listen, Columbia.
- 3:45Speaker 3: Good morning, you've made it halfway through the week.
- 3:48Speaker 4: How you doing good?
- 3:49Speaker 7: How are you?
- 3:50Speaker 4: I'm good.
- 3:51Speaker 3: I actually feel amazing today, boo. And I don't know why.
- 3:54Speaker 4: I just woke up on the right side of the bed.
- 3:56Speaker 2: Well, you felt like you had been sort of fighting
- 3:58Speaker 2: something off, like a little, you know, head cold or
- 4:01Speaker 2: something maybe.
- 4:01Speaker 6: But feeling better.
- 4:02Speaker 4: I feel much better today. So I've got a great
- 4:04Speaker 4: Melissa job.
- 4:07Speaker 5: Good job.
- 4:08Speaker 6: Did you manage to make it through the holidays without
- 4:10Speaker 6: getting sick? Melissa?
- 4:11Speaker 8: I did?
- 4:12Speaker 7: I did.
- 4:12Speaker 3: I'm saying saying well, good because that hardly ever happens,
- 4:16Speaker 3: and there's all these scary things going around.
- 4:18Speaker 6: This is so dark.
- 4:20Speaker 4: It's that darkest.
- 4:21Speaker 3: What happens every season, during the winter and during Christmas,
- 4:23Speaker 3: everybody sees everybody. They all end up get each other
- 4:26Speaker 3: sick of the germs.
- 4:27Speaker 6: I'm not a doctor, but I think Ricky has the
- 4:28Speaker 6: bird flu.
- 4:29Speaker 3: Oh my god, this man is insane. What we're gonna
- 4:34Speaker 3: save you? You are the first caller of the day on
- 4:38Speaker 3: one O seven five of the River.
- 4:39Speaker 4: You're getting these Kelsey Ballerina ticket fantastic.
- 4:42Speaker 7: I love it.
- 4:43Speaker 2: Yeah, it's gonna be a great show the thirty first
- 4:45Speaker 2: at bridge Stone. They are yours. Congratulations. What are you
- 4:48Speaker 2: doing this morning, Melissa?
- 4:49Speaker 7: I'm just pulled into work.
- 4:51Speaker 6: What do you do?
- 4:52Speaker 7: I'm a nurse?
- 4:53Speaker 5: Oh?
- 4:53Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 4:54Speaker 6: So do you think Ricky has bird flu? Kevin?
- 4:56Speaker 7: I don't think so. I love it. You got to.
- 5:02Speaker 6: Hanged up seeing a bird.
- 5:04Speaker 3: Thank you, Melissa, though I am cooped up with these two.
- 5:07Speaker 6: Thank you for doing what you do out there being
- 5:09Speaker 6: a nurse.
- 5:09Speaker 2: We love the nurses, and thank you for waking up
- 5:11Speaker 2: with us and have fun at the show.
- 5:12Speaker 5: Thanks so much, appreciate it. Ricky, Zach and Meadow. In
- 5:16Speaker 5: the morning.
- 5:17Speaker 2: Onis Sanchez over here is participating in Dry January. Today
- 5:22Speaker 2: is the fifteenth, so she's I think made it halfway
- 5:25Speaker 2: into the month.
- 5:25Speaker 6: He said. She has an update for us.
- 5:27Speaker 4: I have made it halfway through the month.
- 5:29Speaker 6: Wow, I'm impressed.
- 5:31Speaker 3: As of a few days ago, it's the longest that
- 5:33Speaker 3: I've ever done Dry January four, like lasted through.
- 5:36Speaker 4: That's cool, which I'm super proud.
- 5:38Speaker 3: Of myself for because I made it through the sill storm,
- 5:41Speaker 3: which was really iffy for me because obviously, when you're
- 5:43Speaker 3: inside your house and you got plenty of booze, the
- 5:47Speaker 3: firston you go to is typically for me at least
- 5:50Speaker 3: the wine.
- 5:50Speaker 6: Yeah, have a nice glass of wine and hang out.
- 5:52Speaker 3: I made it through lunch with Zach without having a drink.
- 5:55Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 5:56Speaker 3: I made it through getting my my toenails dore with
- 5:58Speaker 3: Zach and our friend came and I did a drink
- 6:01Speaker 3: even though they both had champagne. So I'm like, really,
- 6:03Speaker 3: actually genuinely proud of myself. If you are doing dry
- 6:07Speaker 3: January and this is maybe your first time, or you
- 6:09Speaker 3: feel iffy about it and you worry about trying it
- 6:11Speaker 3: because you always fail, like me, I'm proud of you
- 6:14Speaker 3: for doing it. If you need some tips to get
- 6:16Speaker 3: through the month, I have a few that I've.
- 6:18Speaker 4: Learned work for me, break it down for us.
- 6:20Speaker 3: One is, honestly, this is going to sound really silly,
- 6:24Speaker 3: but not putting yourself in positions where you're.
- 6:26Speaker 4: Going to be drinking.
- 6:28Speaker 3: So I've been like when we went to lunch, I
- 6:31Speaker 3: looked up online to see if they had mocktails at
- 6:34Speaker 3: the place that we were going to have lunch, and they.
- 6:36Speaker 4: Did, so I was like, okay, perfect.
- 6:37Speaker 3: When I go, I'm going to order this specific mocktail.
- 6:41Speaker 4: It was like a strawberry guava like drink.
- 6:43Speaker 2: It was good too, Like I felt like we should
- 6:45Speaker 2: be on the beach with an umbrella in the drink it.
- 6:49Speaker 6: I tried some of ixact try it.
- 6:51Speaker 4: It tastes so good. I feel like we should be
- 6:52Speaker 4: at the beach. It was good.
- 6:53Speaker 3: So I already had in my mind, like this is
- 6:55Speaker 3: the exact drink I'm going to order. I'm not looking
- 6:58Speaker 3: at anything else. I'm not even going to think about
- 7:00Speaker 3: anything else. And I knew that going in.
- 7:02Speaker 6: Did Zach order a drink or you ordered a beer?
- 7:05Speaker 5: He did? Okay?
- 7:06Speaker 3: Here all right, and everybody else did except for AJ,
- 7:08Speaker 3: because AJ and I are doing it together.
- 7:09Speaker 4: That's my second tip. Try to find somebody to.
- 7:11Speaker 3: Do it with you, because it feels so much better
- 7:14Speaker 3: when it's like someone else that you spend a lot
- 7:16Speaker 3: of time with, or even if you don't, but to
- 7:17Speaker 3: have an accountability, it's so nice, like it just makes
- 7:22Speaker 3: me feel better.
- 7:23Speaker 2: And I will also say for accountability, you're talking about
- 7:25Speaker 2: it here, you talked about it on social media, like
- 7:28Speaker 2: all of your friends are helping keep you accountable.
- 7:30Speaker 3: And in a way, everybody knows that I am doing
- 7:33Speaker 3: dry January. I wanted everyone to know that immediately so
- 7:35Speaker 3: that when I get invited out, it's not like a, hey,
- 7:37Speaker 3: what do you want to drink? Or do you want
- 7:39Speaker 3: to drink? Let me go get you something from the bar,
- 7:40Speaker 3: Like there's none of those questions happening because everybody already
- 7:44Speaker 3: knows I'm not going to be drinking.
- 7:46Speaker 6: How do you feel fifteen days into it?
- 7:48Speaker 4: I don't feel any different necessarily.
- 7:50Speaker 3: Everybody says that you're going to notice a change, so
- 7:53Speaker 3: I'm kind of waiting for the change.
- 7:54Speaker 4: The only thing I've noticed is that I'm way more hydrated.
- 7:58Speaker 5: That's good.
- 7:58Speaker 4: I'm drinking so much water, which is great.
- 8:01Speaker 3: But that's the only difference that I've really noticed so far.
- 8:04Speaker 4: So we'll see at the end of the month if
- 8:06Speaker 4: I make it to the end. I'm determined, not when
- 8:09Speaker 4: you make it. Thank you, Zach.
- 8:11Speaker 6: I appreciate you. And what today?
- 8:13Speaker 4: Make it to the end?
- 8:14Speaker 2: What day I'm looking at my Oh, February first falls
- 8:16Speaker 2: on a Saturday, so party of Ricky's.
- 8:18Speaker 3: House February first is a Saturday. The goal here, though,
- 8:21Speaker 3: is not to obviously go immediately back to drinking. We'll
- 8:24Speaker 3: see how I go, but I want to cut back.
- 8:27Speaker 4: On my drinking.
- 8:27Speaker 3: So if I can make it through a month of
- 8:29Speaker 3: not drinking any alcohol, I feel like it's going to
- 8:31Speaker 3: be a lot easier for me to cut back the
- 8:33Speaker 3: rest of the year because I already know I can
- 8:35Speaker 3: go cold turkey, you know, round of a plus.
- 8:38Speaker 6: Honestly shocked. We were taking bets on how long you
- 8:42Speaker 6: would last?
- 8:46Speaker 1: Three things you need to know?
- 8:48Speaker 2: Just after seven o'clock on this Wednesday morning, Chilli Wednesday morning,
- 8:51Speaker 2: twenty degrees out there right now? Good forty again later
- 8:54Speaker 2: today though, good morning, Thanks for being here. Ricky's got
- 8:57Speaker 2: those three things.
- 8:58Speaker 3: Kylie Kelsey's Not Gonna Lie podcas has gone its first
- 9:01Speaker 3: award nomination. The podcast was nominated for Best Emerging Podcasts
- 9:06Speaker 3: at the twenty twenty five iHeartRadio Podcast Awards. When she
- 9:10Speaker 3: got the news, she thanked her fans on social media
- 9:12Speaker 3: and shared her shock at being nominated. She even said
- 9:15Speaker 3: that a different podcast that was nominated in the same
- 9:18Speaker 3: category should win instead of her. I'm like, girl, you
- 9:22Speaker 3: need to calm down, because she may be shocked, but
- 9:24Speaker 3: I'm not shocked at all. Her podcast started in December
- 9:28Speaker 3: and it quickly rose to number two on the Apple
- 9:30Speaker 3: Podcast charts.
- 9:31Speaker 4: Eventually it got to number one, and it.
- 9:32Speaker 3: Beat out Joe Rogan for a little while, who's held
- 9:35Speaker 3: that number one spot for years now at this point,
- 9:38Speaker 3: so clearly she deserves it, even if she's being humble,
- 9:41Speaker 3: which very much is why everybody loves Kylie Kelsey.
- 9:43Speaker 2: So I get it, and it's not quite as big
- 9:45Speaker 2: but I just want to take a second to point
- 9:46Speaker 2: out that we have a podcast as well. S It's
- 9:48Speaker 2: Ricky Zachymanna in the Morning wherever we get your podcasts.
- 9:50Speaker 3: And congrats to Kylie Kelsey on her first award nomination
- 9:53Speaker 3: for her podcast.
- 9:55Speaker 4: Plaza.
- 9:55Speaker 3: Madiacchi is offering a free indoor winter kids party this Saturday.
- 10:00Speaker 4: It sounds like it's gonna be so much fun.
- 10:01Speaker 3: They got bilingual story time, arts and crafts, a scavenger hunt,
- 10:05Speaker 3: a dance party, all among other fun activities that they're doing.
- 10:09Speaker 3: The party is gonna happen from noon to four pm
- 10:11Speaker 3: this weekend.
- 10:12Speaker 4: Fun little thing.
- 10:13Speaker 3: For you to do with your kids, especially if it's
- 10:15Speaker 3: gonna be cold.
- 10:16Speaker 4: I don't know what weather is going to be like
- 10:18Speaker 4: this weekend.
- 10:18Speaker 3: It keeps changing so quickly, so if it's gonna be chilly,
- 10:21Speaker 3: out nice.
- 10:22Speaker 4: Place to stop by.
- 10:24Speaker 5: Lake.
- 10:24Speaker 3: Superior State University's annual Banished Words.
- 10:27Speaker 4: List is out. This list that they put out every year.
- 10:31Speaker 3: It's terms that are overused or misused or just simply
- 10:35Speaker 3: unnecessary and nobody needs to use, and they put it.
- 10:38Speaker 4: Out every year. This year's banished words.
- 10:40Speaker 3: Include cringe, game changer, era, skibbty, and iy k y k,
- 10:48Speaker 3: which is if you know you know so.
- 10:50Speaker 4: I guess we're over that one too.
- 10:52Speaker 3: You just can't keep up with how quickly they come
- 10:54Speaker 3: and go. You just never know what's happening.
- 10:55Speaker 2: I know what skimby toilet is, and I think there's
- 10:57Speaker 2: a movie coming to based on Skimmity toilt.
- 10:59Speaker 4: But like it there's a movie.
- 11:01Speaker 6: How do people use it? In what context? Would somebody
- 11:04Speaker 6: just say skibbity?
- 11:05Speaker 4: I don't know, I'm not sure. Maybe they just yell
- 11:08Speaker 4: out skibby.
- 11:08Speaker 2: That's kind of what I think. I think young the
- 11:10Speaker 2: young generation just randomly says skibby.
- 11:13Speaker 4: They might Okay, well, there you go.
- 11:15Speaker 3: Those are the words that everyone's over and confused by.
- 11:18Speaker 4: I'm Ricky Sanchez and those are the three things you
- 11:20Speaker 4: need to know.
- 11:21Speaker 6: Thank you, Ricky.
- 11:22Speaker 2: We're gonna play Sabrina Carpenter. They get one of Zack's
- 11:24Speaker 2: fax on this Wednesday morning. For example, if you ever
- 11:27Speaker 2: miss the Zach's pack, you can find it in our
- 11:29Speaker 2: previously mentioned podcast or Ricky, Zach and Mana wherever he
- 11:32Speaker 2: gets yours.
- 11:33Speaker 5: Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning on.
- 11:37Speaker 4: Zach spaxone.
- 11:40Speaker 6: Heaven never do that again.
- 11:41Speaker 2: Your factory of the day is that Jennifer Lawrence has
- 11:44Speaker 2: six toes on her left foot.
- 11:46Speaker 6: What did you guys know that? No, I best she
- 11:49Speaker 6: can swim really fast.
- 11:50Speaker 4: Okay, that's ridiculous, but I had no idea.
- 11:54Speaker 6: But there's your fact of the day.
- 11:56Speaker 1: Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning on the River yesterday.
- 12:00Speaker 3: For the daily double tap on one O seven five
- 12:02Speaker 3: of the River, which is a viral video or a
- 12:04Speaker 3: video that we just think is funny or great that
- 12:07Speaker 3: we want to share with you.
- 12:07Speaker 4: We do it every morning, but we did this video.
- 12:12Speaker 4: Can you tell Mammy what you want with your waffle?
- 12:14Speaker 4: So it is it? Take your love kids here.
- 12:18Speaker 3: This kid calls syrup sticky waffle ketchup.
- 12:23Speaker 4: Is absolutely adorable.
- 12:24Speaker 6: We love the way little kid's brains work, right, like.
- 12:27Speaker 3: The things that they think of because he's right, is
- 12:29Speaker 3: sticky waffle ketchup.
- 12:30Speaker 4: You know exactly what syrup is.
- 12:32Speaker 6: It's a condiment that goes on your waffles and it's sticky.
- 12:34Speaker 6: So yeah, that makes sense.
- 12:35Speaker 3: We want to know what alternative phrases or words your
- 12:39Speaker 3: kids used to describe things six.
- 12:41Speaker 2: One, five, seven, three, seven, nine, one oh seven any
- 12:44Speaker 2: sort of household item.
- 12:45Speaker 6: Every day objects. It could be food.
- 12:47Speaker 2: I knew a kid that called salad or are they
- 12:49Speaker 2: called a head of let us a salad ball?
- 12:51Speaker 4: Correct, very clever, It is a salad ball.
- 12:53Speaker 6: That's exactly right. What do your kids say? What names
- 12:56Speaker 6: did they come up with?
- 12:56Speaker 5: Six?
- 12:56Speaker 2: One, five, seven, three seven, nine, one oh seven? Their
- 12:59Speaker 2: version of sticky waffle?
- 13:00Speaker 5: Catch up?
- 13:01Speaker 1: One seven, Reiki, Zach and Meno in the morning.
- 13:05Speaker 3: Sarah and Ear in Tennessee. Good morning, welcome to one
- 13:08Speaker 3: oh seven five of the River. Tell us what alternative
- 13:10Speaker 3: phrases or words your kids use?
- 13:13Speaker 6: So it's it's bizarre.
- 13:15Speaker 3: She used to call squishes your private area.
- 13:19Speaker 6: Like a wait a minute, it actually like, yeah, squishes like.
- 13:23Speaker 2: A little like a little soft stuffed thing. Is that
- 13:25Speaker 2: what you're referring to?
- 13:27Speaker 7: Yes, like little little squishy toys.
- 13:29Speaker 6: Okay.
- 13:30Speaker 7: She was two and she couldn't say my squishy and
- 13:34Speaker 7: I actually have a video, so instead she called it
- 13:37Speaker 7: my I actually.
- 13:38Speaker 4: Can't say it on the radio. I see what you're saying.
- 13:44Speaker 7: Very smager, but it's hilarious.
- 13:46Speaker 6: Yes, thank you for that.
- 13:49Speaker 9: Welcome Sarah, have a great day.
- 13:51Speaker 3: Thank you for calling in you too.
- 13:53Speaker 1: Bye.

- 20:59Speaker 6: The podcast Ricky's got three Things he needs to know.
- 21:02Speaker 3: Kate Middleton has announced her cancer is in remission. The
- 21:06Speaker 3: Princess of Wales was diagnosed with an undisclosed form of
- 21:09Speaker 3: cancer last year, with the announcement made to the public
- 21:11Speaker 3: in March. She then underwent chemotherapy until September of last
- 21:15Speaker 3: year and announced that she was officially done with that.
- 21:18Speaker 4: And then she said yesterday in.
- 21:19Speaker 3: A statement quote as anyone who has experienced a cancer
- 21:23Speaker 3: diagnosis will know, it takes time to adjust to a
- 21:26Speaker 3: new normal. I am, however, looking forward to a fulfilling
- 21:29Speaker 3: year ahead. So congrats to her. That is amazing to
- 21:32Speaker 3: hear Kate Middleton is happy and healthy and her cancer
- 21:35Speaker 3: is in remission. Frontier Airlines is doing something really fun.
- 21:39Speaker 3: I already submitted myself for this, They're giving away a
- 21:42Speaker 3: year of free flights. Who doesn't love that idea? So
- 21:46Speaker 3: Frontier Airlines is running this contest. One person is going
- 21:49Speaker 3: to get a full year of free flights. Roots include
- 21:52Speaker 3: destinations like Puntacana, can Kun, cities across the US like
- 21:56Speaker 3: Chicago and Las Vegas. It's free to enter. You just
- 21:59Speaker 3: go to their website, but you got to make sure
- 22:00Speaker 3: you do so before January thirty first, because that's when
- 22:03Speaker 3: the contest ends. Like I said, I already went on
- 22:06Speaker 3: their website and said it to myself.
- 22:07Speaker 6: I feel like I haven't flown front here in a
- 22:09Speaker 6: long time. Where are they rank? In my mind? They're
- 22:11Speaker 6: kind of like a Spirit Airlines. Ye are, okay, but
- 22:13Speaker 6: if it's for it's for me, surek.
- 22:16Speaker 3: Calypso Cafe has changed ownership, but they have some new
- 22:20Speaker 3: things coming for their business. So Calypso Cafe has been
- 22:23Speaker 3: a local family owned spot since nineteen eighty nine, and
- 22:26Speaker 3: the new owners are going to keep it in the
- 22:28Speaker 3: family business since they are actually the cousins of the
- 22:31Speaker 3: previous owners. And they said they're going to keep the
- 22:33Speaker 3: classic recipes that everybody has come to know and love.
- 22:36Speaker 3: There will be some changes, some big ones that are
- 22:39Speaker 3: very exciting. They're introducing extended hours, delivery options, and they
- 22:44Speaker 3: hope to open their Charlotte Pike location to more.
- 22:48Speaker 4: Than just catering.
- 22:49Speaker 3: So these are all really positive things. Like I said,
- 22:52Speaker 3: great to hear that they're keeping it within the family
- 22:54Speaker 3: and it's still going to stay a local, family owned business.
- 22:58Speaker 4: I'mrie Sanchez, And those are the three things you need
- 22:59Speaker 4: to know.
- 23:00Speaker 5: Ricky Zach and Manow in the Morning one.
- 23:05Speaker 6: O seven five the River. This made news. It broke yesterday.
- 23:07Speaker 2: Starbucks is changing their rules of bit So if you
- 23:10Speaker 2: want to hang and work in a Starbucks or even
- 23:12Speaker 2: use the bathroom, you gotta buy something, which is.
- 23:15Speaker 3: Wild because so many people use that as a workspace.
- 23:17Speaker 2: Yeah, they do, a lot of people really, So we
- 23:20Speaker 2: want to know we were always, you know, given as
- 23:22Speaker 2: much love as possible to local businesses here in Nashville.
- 23:25Speaker 2: We want to know the places that you like to
- 23:28Speaker 2: go get work done around town that you know are
- 23:31Speaker 2: maybe locally owned.
- 23:32Speaker 3: Yeah, that you don't necessarily have to buy something, but
- 23:34Speaker 3: it would always be great if you did to support them,
- 23:37Speaker 3: you know what I mean. Six one five, seven, three
- 23:39Speaker 3: seven nine one oh seven call us, shelt them out.
- 23:42Speaker 4: People are gonna need new ideas.

- 24:04Speaker 3: start making people pay to spend time in the cafe.
- 24:07Speaker 4: So a lot of people.
- 24:07Speaker 3: Need new places, local places that they can work and
- 24:11Speaker 3: hang out.
- 24:11Speaker 4: What's your suggestion.
- 24:13Speaker 7: My suggestion is fat bites and what's it called?
- 24:16Speaker 6: Say it again?
- 24:17Speaker 4: Fat bite pH at people.
- 24:22Speaker 6: Okay, I'm with you.
- 24:24Speaker 4: Yeah, it's local to Donaldson. It's been there for a while.
- 24:28Speaker 5: Real kill help music.
- 24:32Speaker 6: Okay, it's awesome.

- 24:44Speaker 3: research all about fat bites.
- 24:48Speaker 7: Everyone about it. It's amazing.
- 24:49Speaker 4: The bites do look fat and they do look delicious.
- 24:53Speaker 2: Okay, Victoria, thank you for calling. Thanks for teaching us
- 24:56Speaker 2: about a new place.
- 24:58Speaker 4: Anytime have a great day.
- 24:59Speaker 6: Love. I know, oh, Ricky, this is gonna shock you.
- 25:01Speaker 2: But you know, somewhere I go take my laptop and
- 25:03Speaker 2: do some work sometimes where Ladybird Taco.
- 25:06Speaker 6: You lovely am why not sponsored by Ladybird Taco. At
- 25:09Speaker 6: this point, I'm talking about them every day. I also
- 25:11Speaker 6: like the Well Coffee House. There's a few of those
- 25:13Speaker 6: in the area.
- 25:14Speaker 3: Crema is one of my favorite places. I love Crema golf, chill,
- 25:18Speaker 3: delicious coffee, great Macha. That's actually what got me into
- 25:22Speaker 3: Macho was Crema. Oh yeah, it's the first time I
- 25:24Speaker 3: had one that I was like, oh, I really like
- 25:25Speaker 3: this one.
- 25:26Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 25:26Speaker 3: So there's a few place Frothy Monkeys, another one delicious.
- 25:30Speaker 6: Uh yeah.
- 25:30Speaker 2: We're all about supporting locals. So if you have one
- 25:32Speaker 2: of those places that you'd like to go get work

- 25:45Speaker 2: the River. We're looking for more local places, locally owned.
- 25:49Speaker 2: Now that Starbucks has changed their policy, people can't sit
- 25:52Speaker 2: and get work done without buying something, So where can
- 25:54Speaker 2: we go locally to uh to have that experience.
- 25:58Speaker 1: So if you're in Murphy Burrow and highly highly suggest
- 26:01Speaker 1: the brass Horn.
- 26:03Speaker 4: The brass Horn.

- 26:33Speaker 3: Local and also we don't like the idea of being forced,
- 26:36Speaker 3: you know what I mean, Like having to buy something
- 26:38Speaker 3: makes me not want to buy anything from Starbucks.
- 26:40Speaker 6: Sometimes if I you know, don't want to be home
- 26:42Speaker 6: with my family, I just want to go watch a
- 26:44Speaker 6: few movies on my computer. Starbucks. Yeah, maybe take a nap.
- 26:48Speaker 4: I totally get it. Maybe you get sleepy and then
- 26:50Speaker 4: you want to go buy a coffee.

- 27:16Speaker 3: of the River this video.

- 27:21Speaker 6: I was.
- 27:21Speaker 2: I mean, I still like I always have a soft
- 27:23Speaker 2: spot for three eleven, but back in the nay I
- 27:25Speaker 2: was a huge fan.
- 27:26Speaker 5: I loved him.

- 27:39Speaker 3: You'll totally like that probably sparked a moment in your
- 27:41Speaker 3: brain of going, oh my god, I remember that song.
- 27:44Speaker 4: So this guy's switch up.
- 27:46Speaker 2: This guy I'm not even totally sure who is, but
- 27:47Speaker 2: he's very, very talented, he assumed. The three eleven wrote
- 27:52Speaker 2: the song Espresso by Sabrina Carpenter and this is what
- 27:54Speaker 2: he came up with.
- 28:00Speaker 9: Sons so good.
- 28:27Speaker 6: I know I should probably stop playing, but I don't
- 28:29Speaker 6: want to.
- 28:30Speaker 4: By this point, you turn it down, but you're so excited.
- 28:33Speaker 4: This guy's name is Mac Glocky.
- 28:35Speaker 7: There you go.
- 28:35Speaker 6: I'm glad you had the name on Instagram.
- 28:37Speaker 3: We are going to post it on our Instagram at
- 28:39Speaker 3: one of seven five The River in the stories so
- 28:41Speaker 3: that you can listen to the full thing if you
- 28:43Speaker 3: want to on your own, share with your friends, whatever
- 28:45Speaker 3: you'd like.
- 28:46Speaker 4: But he does a great job. I loved it.
