- Chelsea: All right, welcome back to the SD Insider Podcast. We have a fun little episode planned today. We have all added new products to our treatment rooms, to our retail shelves, and we are loving them and we want to share those products with you today. Rebecca, you want to start us off? Jaclyn Kylie: hahaha Rebekah: Okay. Chelsea: Who me? Tell us tell what have you what have you added in the last six months that you've that you've been loving in the treatment room, that you've been that your clients have been loving, that you've been selling to? I think aestheticians we're always looking for new things to add and try out. So what what are some things that you have found that you've been loving? Rebekah: Okay, one thing that I find myself reaching for in treatment, I don't retail it, is the influ cure. Is that how you pronounce it? Jaclyn Kylie: I can't wait to try that! Chelsea: yes. Okay. Rebekah: I Chelsea: I need I need I have some. I just haven't experien Rebekah: My God, I love it. Chelsea: okay. So can you do you mind tell do you mind telling us how you're using it? What what are you doing? Jaclyn Kylie: What are, what are you, yeah. Rebekah: Yeah. So I used it a ton over the summer. So when I was first in S when what? Chelsea: So I was gonna say explain what it does too. But yeah. Rebekah: Yeah. So InfoCare, it's basically a healing, I don't want to say ointment, I'll say serum. It comes in a syringe. It's green. It Chelsea: Yeah, yeah. Rebekah: contains like chlorophyll, urea, and then some like vitamin E. All very healing ingredients for anyone. It's a Korean product. Chelsea: So Korean product. Korean. Mm-hmm. Rebekah: You can nano needle it in. I typically put it under they say to put it under red LED light to really activate it. And you're not using the LED to get the benefits of like collagen production and e everything because the inflacure is probably going to prevent that from happening because it is green, but it does help the inflacure activate. So yeah. So Jaclyn Kylie: Yeah, I heard you have to use LED light with it. Chelsea: Yes. Okay. Rebekah: what I have been doing, so back in the day, if you had a sunburn, I was like, go away. I don't want to see you Chelsea: Right. Rebekah: disgusting. But now over the so Chelsea: gonna judge you. Rebekah: many of my clients came in with a sunburn. We had a we had barely any rain this summer. So it was a lot of sun. And I came up kind of on the fly with like a sunburn protocol for my clients and that influcure Jaclyn Kylie: Thank Rebekah: is like the main I love my influcure. I have some before and afters of people who came in with a sunburn and then when they left Chelsea: Yes. Rebekah: like 45 minutes later and they look completely different because the influcure just like brings down that redness so much. Chelsea: that's cool. Rebekah: I've had I love it for rosacea clients for anyone that's dealing with like perioral, barrier repair, eczema, like anything in inflammatory that really you don't want to even touch with an enzyme, Chelsea: Right. Yes. Rebekah: I immediately go to Inflocure and their skin just loves it. I have yet to have someone that I Chelsea: Cool. Rebekah: didn't see results on. I love it. Yes. Jaclyn Kylie: question. hang on. Do you use, do you do your typical, so say you're doing it on inflamed acne, do you do your typical enzyme exfoliation before and then that's your treatment mask? Okay. Okay. Rebekah: Yes. Chelsea: Yeah, is that do you mind sharing your protocol? Sure, yeah, I'm actually well, both. Rebekah: For sunburns or for acne. So for sunburns, Jaclyn Kylie: both. Rebekah: for sunburns, I've been doing cleanse with barrier balance cleanser, cooler towels. I don't do completely cold, but I'll do cooler Chelsea: Yeah. Rebekah: towels. and then I will do the influres with the LED mask. I will remove the influcure. Some people nano needle it in even further, but I don't do that, especially if they're sunburned. I don't want any more of that, even that little mechanical exfoliation. I don't want to touch that. And then I'll do any sort of cocktail of of masks. I have so many masks that heal inflammation. So I might do a sheet mask from KRX. Their Sika masks are good. But Chelsea: Yes, yep. Rebekah: I've been doing a lot of mixing of Hydra Remedy and the Hale and Hush Hydrate Gel or the HydroCom from Base Reality and then using my cold hammer with it. And then removing that and then For finishing products, I'll do like a Hydra Remedy and the Power Mineral, because Power Mineral does have ingredients that's calming to the skin. It helps with redness. and obviously you want them to leave with SPF. So yeah. And it's been great. Jaclyn Kylie: And then. Chelsea: that lot Rebekah: For acne, I do my full, like Jacqueline said, like I'll do my enzyme, my cleanse, my enzyme extractions, inflicure as like the treatment mask underneath the LED and then because I don't believe the LED is really gonna penetrate and get those antibacterial well, you're not even using blue LED, you're using red. I'll do high frequency after that and then finishing products. Jaclyn Kylie: Question two questions. Number one is do you pick in your brain this this is Chelsea: She's killing me. Question. Rebekah: That's fine. Jaclyn Kylie: question. So with the Rebekah: sorry, it didn't mean to interrupt you. I've been using also, because Chelsea posted about it, the cooling ice gel as a finishing product. Chelsea: Yes, I was gonna talk about that. Rebekah: Yeah. Okay. From Korea. Yeah. Jaclyn Kylie: from Korea, it's Korean skincare. Chelsea: Straight out of Korea. Jaclyn Kylie: Question I forgot now, thank you very much. Rebekah: I'm so sorry. Jaclyn Kylie: So, with the Nano Needling, so I have the Revita Pen from Osmosis and that's a Nano Needle. Would you ever Nano Needle active acne with the ImpliClear? Okay. Rebekah: No. I wouldn't. I personally wouldn't. Chelsea: Mm. Jaclyn Kylie: And then second question is, Chelsea: Too stimulating, Rebekah: Yeah. Chelsea: right? Jaclyn Kylie: Okay, too Chelsea: Yeah. Yeah. Jaclyn Kylie: much. So you would essentially nanoneedle it after say you didn't have acne or sunburn, you could nanoneedle it in. And then would you ever do the clear skin peel and then the infoclear or – because I don't do any masks after the clear skin peel at all. Chelsea: But I bet if you I bet you could do level one. Rebekah: Yeah. I I like to when I incorporate the peels with other products and modalities and treatments, I like to end with the peel and that's like the last part. I would I Chelsea: so it doesn't yeah. Jaclyn Kylie: Duh. Got it. Rebekah: would do influre first and then end with like a swipe of the peel and then they go on their way. so yeah, I I would Chelsea: Yeah, so the peel stays on and yeah, it doesn't get Rebekah: I've done pretty much Jaclyn Kylie: Do you do LED light with your peel after or before? Rebekah: I do LED like typically if it's just a standard peel acne protocol, I do it after. But I I know a ton of people that do it before and that's they're fine. Jaclyn Kylie: Okay same yeah. Doesn't matter yeah, Chelsea: I do too. Yeah. Yeah. If I if I go Jaclyn Kylie: it can be the same. Okay. Chelsea: stronger with my peels, then I'll do it L E D before. If I Rebekah: Yeah. Jaclyn Kylie: Yeah. Chelsea: stay light with it, then I do it after. Rebekah: the other thing with my see, I have so many masks that are great for inflammation and sunburn, the icy mask has been great. Care X. It's literally like when you put Chelsea: Yes, K Rex. Jaclyn Kylie: From where? Okay. Rebekah: it on their skin, it's a so it's a powder, you activate it with cold water. And when you put it on their skin, it feels like ice. and you let it sit on their skin for 15 minutes or so and then you remove it. But that's great. And then another thing in my treatment room that my clients have been loving is the carboxy therapy, which I think I first saw with Chelsea. Chelsea: Love cardboxy, yes. my gosh, I love it. Rebekah: I love carboxy. Jaclyn Kylie: I need try Rebekah: I did Jaclyn Kylie: it. Rebekah: V Talks on top of it for the first time, like a week ago, and I really liked it too. Guys, I'm telling you, Korean skincare is is so fun. It and it's Chelsea: Yes, that's what we do. Yes, that's what we do with our Korean facial. It's so Jaclyn Kylie: And well, I'm just now, I'm just now getting excited about it and into it. I was not very, really excited about it for years. And then all of a sudden I'm like, wait, this is like, you can mix this with this and you know, there's no contraindications Rebekah: Yes. Jaclyn Kylie: and it's like so gentle. And I'm like, I'm so excited to see how you can use it with active acne or just acne in general and have a routine with it. Cause no, Rebekah: Need so much. So much. They're Chelsea: Yeah, yeah. Jaclyn Kylie: I don't see Koreans with acne. I just don't. So I'm like, Rebekah: Well that's because they're Chelsea: Well, and that's Rebekah: like Chelsea: I don't I don't think in fact I was listening to a podcast with the what's her name? Sarah. she's the the owner of yeah, from kinesthetics. Thank you. I'm drawing Rebekah: From kinesthetics. Yes, yes, Sarah. Chelsea: a blank. Sarah. And so she was saying that one, I I just think it's not as much of like a genetic thing over there. I'm sure their diet has something to do with it, but it's just there's not Rebekah: Yeah. Chelsea: a lot an a huge need. So they really I think at the time she was saying there's really only salicylic acid, but over here in the States, because Korean skincare is so good for barrier repair, that's a huge part of what acne clients need. And so it just pairs so well to help those active Rebekah: Mm-hmm. It does. And there's so many Chelsea: ingredients. Yeah. Rebekah: I find it so, especially for my clients who, you know, they're already clear. They've been through their clearing journey. The the the like main thing that they they just don't want to keep doing the same like acting peel and extractions, acting peel and extractions. They want to do Jaclyn Kylie: Mm-hmm, mm-hmm. Rebekah: something else more fun. Like they're clear Chelsea: Yeah. Yeah. Rebekah: now, but we still want to be careful with their skin and not trigger like a a purge or a breakout. So that's where Korean skincare really fit in well is allowing myself to have fun in the treatment room and giving my clients, you know, Chelsea: Yes. Rebekah: different types of facials that they still love the results, but it's different Jaclyn Kylie: Yeah. Rebekah: and it just has more variety and I love it. I love it. Jaclyn Kylie: Yeah. Well, I'm excited to I'm going to place an order. Well, once I'm done peeling, I'm going to place an order to try some more things. I did try the peel pad. I want to I have been trying the Triple Action Revive Mask or whatever. I love it. I absolutely love it. Very affordable for the clients and for us. Chelsea: Yes, that's a good one. Yeah. Yep. Jaclyn Kylie: I really love it. I want to do it on the last day of my peel or a day during my peel. I want to try it, also anything other than the cream burns the skin so much with the Perfect Derm Appeal. Rebekah: it does. Jaclyn Kylie: It's just, I mean, Chelsea: Yeah. Jaclyn Kylie: yeah, so much. Even the moisturizer can start to burn by day four or five because you're just so dry. But I'm also like the triple action. Yeah, the cream. Yeah, yeah, I have one person that hates it. Chelsea: I that you are you talking about the moisturizer that comes with it in the p that I I hate that moisturizer. Well it has it has hydro it has hydrocortisone in it. And so I I tell people I tell Rebekah: Where are you going? Wait. Jaclyn Kylie: I like it. I'm not. Chelsea: people only use it for a few days and then 'cause it's like drying everybody out and it yeah, it it hurts. So I only have them use it for a few days and then I have yeah. Jaclyn Kylie: Well, I tried the barrier care gel cream with this peel and I was about to cry. It burned so much. Chelsea: I I have just do I Rebekah: Really? Chelsea: just have do Vaseline or Aquafour. Yeah. Jaclyn Kylie: I'm co-op with her. my clients do love – there's only one client that had a really bad reaction to the cream Chelsea: Yeah. Jaclyn Kylie: that comes with the Perfect Derm Appeal, but it seemed like an allergic reaction of some sort. So Chelsea: Yeah. Jaclyn Kylie: everybody else has been good. mean, at one point, it does get really, really dry where it burns. But I might try the Triple Action Mask because it has such calming and soothing ingredients, but I'm scared my face is going to be on fire. But whatever. Got to try it out. I have no products. Okay. The only products that I've been trying and liking have been the revive triple mask or triple action mask. And then the Sika KRX masks I do like. and then, I, this is just random, but I really love it. And one day if I bring on Lyra, I want to sell the lip gloss or the like lip. I don't Rebekah: yeah. Jaclyn Kylie: know what it. I love the aroma of it and it feels Chelsea: I haven't tried it. Jaclyn Kylie: so good. don't know, just feel like I'm using, this is going to be so weird, but I feel like I'm Hailey Bieber's lip gloss or whatever. Yeah, road. There you go. Rebekah: Bro. That's how I felt about Sorella's lip treatment. I love their lip gloss, but their minimum order was like th I would say it like thirty five hundred dollars and I just I was like I'm not I'm not doing that Chelsea: Yeah, yeah. Rebekah: for a lip treatment. Jaclyn Kylie: Yeah. Well, that mini bottle of Sorella cleanser that you sent me a while ago, I still use it and I really like it. It's beautiful. It smells great. It's like an orange, orange citrus smell. Rebekah: Yeah. I liked it too. I did like it too. Orange jelly. Chelsea: Yes, that does smell good. Jaclyn Kylie: I'm trying to think. I did get at the trade show, I got the circadia lip because you told me to, and I got Rebekah: Hmm. It's nice. Jaclyn Kylie: the honey exfoliating scrub. I have found that I like it. It feels good. I don't like the smell of honey. am Rebekah: What? I love it. Jaclyn Kylie: repulsed by it I'm like my whole brand is a bee and honey and I just don't like the smell of honey. It just does not smell good. Chelsea: Repulsed. Rebekah: It's bees. Yeah. I love it. It's so comforting. Jaclyn Kylie: So Chelsea: Yeah. Jaclyn Kylie: I did get that and then this and then I was going to try the oxygen RX but like I'd much rather do the Perfect Derm Appeal right now so I can get it out of the way. So I'm trying to think. Chelsea: You you br you brought on colour science. How's that going? Jaclyn Kylie: yeah, yeah, yeah. I brought on color science. I really do love it. And like, I thought I was not going to love their whole line of even the blush or the concealer, but Chelsea: Mm-hmm. Jaclyn Kylie: I really like it I use it every single day. And I was like Chelsea: Right. Rebekah: Mm. Jaclyn Kylie: just shocked by that because I'm like picky with that, but I have been liking it. I love the technology behind it. I'm not a fan of the mascara, but Rebekah: I love their mascara. Jaclyn Kylie: I think I'm using it. I think I'm just not curling my eyelashes. I think that's the problem. I need to. Rebekah: I use it every day. I love their mascara. Chelsea: So I s I started you Jaclyn Kylie: I need to. Chelsea: so I've always used a lash serum. And so I was like, well, I'll use the mascara too. I wasn't expecting like more growth. I just but I think there was something about the two combined. My Jaclyn Kylie: There is. Yeah. Chelsea: lashes fell out. Yeah. I think they Jaclyn Kylie: They were growing so fast, they're like, gotta reuse and rese- Chelsea: just shed like cr and I was like, what is going on? So I stopped using Jaclyn Kylie: my God. Chelsea: the mascara. I didn't I didn't mind it, and I don't think that's like a Rebekah: I love their mascara. Chelsea: I don't think that's like a typical thing. So I don't tell people not to use it because what happened to me, but there was something I'm like, maybe I'm using too much corrupt theorem. Yeah. Rebekah: You might have. Jaclyn Kylie: I don't like the application of the brush. That's what I don't like is it's very thick and I like the thinner applicators of mascara. Guys, I did try a new product and I'm almost done with it. It's Rebekah: Okay, what is it? Jaclyn Kylie: the Extrese Hair Gummies. Yes, yes. Rebekah: yep. Mm-hmm. And Chelsea: Jess, our hair girl, she just started well, they gave her a like an affiliate link to yeah. What do you think about it? Rebekah: And Jaclyn Kylie: I love, I mean, my hair has grown a ton since June. I think I started it in June. I'm still taking it. I've missed a couple days, but it has grown a lot. I'm also doing the factor five shampoo, which I do really love. Look at me, I'm like, I don't have any new products that I'm trying, but the factor five shampoo, I love the smell. It smells so good. I feel like that's helping too, but the growth, I'm gonna post the before and afters. It has been good. And then I also got the Jolie shower head filter piece. So Rebekah: Yes. Yeah. Chelsea: Mm. Jaclyn Kylie: that I feel like has been probably helping too, because it can help with like, you know, it eliminates all the chlorine and all the chemicals and stuff. So it can help with hair growth. But yeah, the X-Tree scummies I will be bringing on. And I do want to bring on the Factor 5 shampoo. But I'm trying to think what else, but yeah, the growth. I'm going to send you guys the photo of like Rebekah: Wanna see? Jaclyn Kylie: where it was. Yeah. Cause you can't Chelsea: Yeah, yeah. Jaclyn Kylie: tell now cause this is what you're seeing me at. but yeah, two gummies a day and then trying to think of what else. What do you, what do you guys, what else are you guys trying? Rebekah: Chelsea. Chelsea: My turn? Okay, so Rebecca mentioned it, but the ice that the Korth ice soothing gel, I am Jaclyn Kylie: Okay. Chelsea: obsessed with that. Is it s Rebekah: Nice. Chelsea: it's soothing ice gel or ice soothing gel? I always say it wrong. Jaclyn Kylie: in the treatment room or for clients. I'm. Chelsea: at home. I use it, I use it in the mornings. It's I what I love about it is okay this is my because I loved Michelle Corley Ultimate Hydration Gel. I loved how it was like a thick gel and when you're not using anything before it it goes on and you can still it feels like something is there like that gel that hydrated feel. But if I put Mendelic on and then that gel, it's it like liquefies it. And I don't get that. Because I feel like when it's on its own, it's almost like a primer, like a makeup primer. It gives that. So I I didn't, I was like, well, I need to use my other stuff. And then when I tried the soothing gel, I can put that on top of other serums. And it it is so nice. Yes. And it's Rebekah: It stays. It is really nice. Chelsea: a big tube. I the only thing that I don't like about it, and it's funny because I feel like skincare, like the big thing is to like make it science-y, and especially with Korean skincare. So they're like, it has this patented on the box, like patented applicator. And it no pay attention. And the next time you Rebekah: I missed that one. Chelsea: look at it, and I'm like, it's plastic. They make it sound like the Rebekah: Yeah. Chelsea: applicator is like some like cooling technology and I look at it, I'm like, it's plastic. So I think you're yeah, I think you're supposed to roll it on. So I just I just Rebekah: 'Cause are you supposed to yeah. No, that's not sanitary. Jaclyn Kylie: Hmm. Chelsea: squeeze it out and do like a P size amount. But Rebekah: Yeah. Chelsea: it's got I pulled up the the ingredients just to make sure. So it ha sorry I'm going to my next one. It's got glycerin in it. it has beta glucan it has aloe it has grapeseed extract it has arnica. I Jaclyn Kylie: f***. Chelsea: didn't know I Forgot it had Arnica in it. And then it has bromolane, which is an enzyme, but it's like a soothing enzyme. So Rebekah: Yeah. Chelsea: I love it. yeah. Rebekah: Yeah, I've been really liking it too. Chelsea: So in the treatment, yeah. Jaclyn Kylie: You guys are making me excited to try it Chelsea: I love that it's affordable because I think it's $41 retail, but it's such a big two. Huge. Yeah. Rebekah: It's a huge tube. Yeah. Yeah. Chelsea: I feel like it would be good for sunburns. healing. Rebekah: It's in my sunburn protocol. Chelsea: I think it would be good for like a few days after microneedling. You probably actually after your peel, after the perfect derma peel a few days out, I think it would feel really good. yeah. Jaclyn Kylie: Yeah, I want to try it. I'm, literally am going to, I got a couple samples from when I got the triple action masks or whatnot and the Sika masks. So I'm going to try some of those samples, but I'm also going to get some stuff that I've been hearing, like the infocler and like, I'll do the gel and stuff just to try out. have you guys found that, any of like, have you guys found that any of the Korean skincare has, contraindications for acne like pore cloggers or just things that just aren't good for acne or not yet or- Chelsea: I think sometimes sometimes it's hard because their some of their ingredients are so different. I don't think Jaclyn Kylie: Yeah. Chelsea: some of their things have been like tested for it. So I I kinda tried on myself and just see how it goes. Jaclyn Kylie: Yeah. Rebekah: Me too. The thing I think you have to worry about with well not worry, but like be careful with a lot of it has a lot of different fragrances. Some products with Korean Chelsea: Yeah. Yeah. Jaclyn Kylie: Okay. Rebekah: skincare, they're much more generous with the fragrance, I think, whether it be natural or not. Chelsea: Yeah, they want it to smell good. Yeah. Jaclyn Kylie: Interesting. Rebekah: and yeah, and and because of a lot of barrier repair and soothing and stuff, I do personally make sure that the ingredients don't have shea butter in them, just because I know depending on how it's formulated, some people can handle it, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. But Chelsea: Right. Yeah. Yeah. Rebekah: I personally look out for that specifically because a lot of them do have that too. So those are just the two things that I make sure to really look out for. Yeah. Chelsea: Be aware of. Yeah. Jaclyn Kylie: Yeah, Chelsea: Yeah. Jaclyn Kylie: it seems like a lot or it's like more barrier repair and like I haven't really seen a lot of shea butter. It's been more like other anti-inflammatory ingredients. But I was just wondering if you guys have run into that, that yeah, issue like trying to solve. Chelsea: The the one product I tried, I didn't finish it because I and I think it has shea butter in it. It's the it was Jaclyn Kylie: Mmm. Chelsea: the the milky shoot. The milk serum. I think it's KRX milk serum and it felt really nice, but I think it has shea butter in it. And I Jaclyn Kylie: Okay. Chelsea: started noticing some stuff come up. but the Jaclyn Kylie: Okay. Chelsea: but the other one that I've been loving is the KRX All Day Glow Vitamin Serum. That one's nice. Rebekah: yeah, I saw you posted about that. Chelsea: Yes. So that one's kind of a like almost an all-in-one. I would you can it says AM and PM, but it's got again niacinamide, it has tranisomic acid. Jaclyn Kylie: That one's popping up a lot. Chelsea: I know. It's all over. It's got three three forms of vitamin C. It has glutathione in it. Jaclyn Kylie: Oooooh! Chelsea: Yeah. and then it's got a lot of so it's got some peptides in it, it has saceramides in it, and then it's got some other like humectants and antioxidants. So it's It's kind of like a jam pack and sometimes I get a little leery of those because I'm like, okay, well, does can tranxemic acid and vitamin C can those be in the same product? And they're still, Rebekah: Mm-hmm. Chelsea: you know, I just I I don't know enough about formulation to know that. But as far as just using it, I I like how it feels. It's like a really lightweight, it almost has like a very, very light oil feel to it, but it's not greasy. So it's it's a serum, but I've I like how my skin feels and looks when I use it. So yeah, that one was a nice one. Jaclyn Kylie: I'm so excited. Okay, well, I want to try it. The trans transomic acid. you guys ran this is so random. Have you guys heard of the supplement that you can now take for hyperpigmentation with transomic acid? Chelsea: Yes. Yeah. So it's it's oral it's oral trinxemic acid. Yeah. Jaclyn Kylie: And it hasn't been like researched for a lot of years or is this just like brand new and it's in the. Chelsea: I I've heard of oral transamic like as a prescription for a long time. I've I've heard it's very Jaclyn Kylie: I haven't. That's so crazy. Chelsea: like beneficial, but I think it's like you can only take it for so long or something, or there there was some kind of like contraindication, like health wise, and I now I can't remember what it is, but I I don't know anybody personally who's taken it. Rebekah: Wild time to be Jaclyn Kylie: Yeah. Rebekah: alive when people are injecting themselves to get tanner too. So it's like everyone just wants something different. Everyone Jaclyn Kylie: Wait guys, yeah. Chelsea: I've I've I've used it I've used a Milano cat. Rebekah: The injection? Chelsea: Mm-hmm. Rebekah: When? Like recently? Chelsea: a couple years ago. Yeah. No, I've been using I've been using Jaclyn Kylie: You did look tan- I'm just kidding. I didn't remember. Chelsea: self-tanner. I love to be tan. I don't Rebekah: I do too. Chelsea: I'm trying to work on and I think maybe that's our generation is I mean, I baked the shit out of myself. Jaclyn Kylie: Well, it's this one too. Rebekah: We need to be so last summer I did this thing where I I I followed this redhead who she was addicted to self-tanner, which I used to self-tan every single week, like on the dot, Chelsea: Yeah. Rebekah: sometimes even twice a week. Like it was bad. Now I only use it for like special occasions a couple times a year. But she did this thing where she was like breaking up cold turkey with self-tanner. And what she did was she started exposing herself to her paleness. So she would like wear like tank tops at the gym and like look yourself in the mirror and like listen as a redhead this is tough for me like to be Jaclyn Kylie: Yeah. Chelsea: Sure. Rebekah: I look I'm and I'm not like a cute like gorgeous porcelain pale. I'm like I look like I'm about to kick the bucket pale. Like I look sick. Like I don't look healthy. Like it's gross. Chelsea: Yeah. Rebekah: So I really tried to like expose myself to mu to looking pale more often. Like I started going to like some events pale. But still I prefer I Jaclyn Kylie: I'm proud of you! Exposure therapy! Rebekah: But yeah, yeah, but no, I agree Chelsea: Sure. Rebekah: I look I just and I even like I even find I get more compliments when I'm tan because I look better. I'm sorry, I look better. Chelsea: Yes, I know, I know. It's and Jaclyn Kylie: You look real. Chelsea: I I don't I don't care about being tan in the winter. Like I don't plan to use Rebekah: Yeah. Chelsea: self-tanner in the winter, but I was like, I'm gonna really cause I've been I've Jaclyn Kylie: you Chelsea: been trying to work really hard on my pigmentation on my face. and I was like, okay, Chelsea, like if you're gonna do this, you have to be good this summer. And so my I didn't you know, we all kind of get like everything gets a little darker in the summer and I didn't notice any of that. And I so I kinda I had never really used self-tanner. So I kind of journeyed into that and it's a lot of work. Rebekah: You should you should see how much. My best Jaclyn Kylie: Thank Rebekah: friend a couple months ago asked me what self tanner I use. And I went through my closet and pulled out every single bottle of self tanner that you guys, I had eight bottles, all different. I but I do have a favorite, but yeah. Jaclyn Kylie: You're like, this one. I'm gonna try this one. I'm gonna try this one. Rebekah: before I forget, have you got Chelsea, do you carry any GlyMed? Chelsea: I have a little bit, yeah. yes the yes yes Rebekah: Have you guys tried their new release? Because I just ordered one the spray sunscreen. Did you Jaclyn Kylie: I do. No. Rebekah: order it? Chelsea: I I have it. I used it. And okay. So I'm laughing that you brought this up because I I tried it out on Saturday. And I was I was Rebekah: Mine's on the way. Chelsea: I put it in my stories because Lucy had a soccer game. And so I was like, okay, I'm gonna I'm gonna be sitting at her soccer game, so I'm gonna try this out. So I'm in my car and I like put it on and I'm rubbing it on my arms and it looked like this. It was in my stories, and Rebekah: Yeah. Chelsea: everybody's like, even Aaron, he's like, Why are you posting that thirst trap for me? I'm like then I got so many comments that are like, you're oiling up the guns. I'm like, my hell. I am putting sunscreen on. I'm not like flexing. Yeah. I didn't get I Rebekah: Yes. I know, but does it did you like it? Okay, I'm really excited. Chelsea: didn't get sunburned. I didn't get like it felt good. It's not like a I mean it goes on and you feel it like an oil, but I feel like it Jaclyn Kylie: Mm-hmm. Chelsea: absorbs that I I feel like it wasn't like greasy. I got their I got their oil cleanser too. Yeah. Rebekah: Right. 'Cause I love an oil. I love an oil. Chelsea: I've been trying their o I I really like their oil cleanser, but apparently it's got a poor a ton of pore cloggers in it. I've been using it for a week and I haven't had any issues, but we'll see. Rebekah: Well Jaclyn Kylie: I've been trying, have you guys heard of the new, or heard of the sunscreen brand Spooge? Chelsea: No. Jaclyn Kylie: What did I do? Rebekah: That's not true. That's that's that's that's a lie. Chelsea: Is it really Jaclyn Kylie: Wait... Wait, has Spooge Rebekah: Spooge? Jacqueline. Jaclyn Kylie: been around a long time? Chelsea: No, that's not Rebekah: Jacqueline. Chelsea: we use. That's like a slang word. Spoo. Rebekah: Well splooge it's called splooch Jaclyn Kylie: Spooge. Rebekah: it splooge is very similar to splooge. Chelsea: Wait. Jaclyn Kylie: Okay, first off, what does it mean? Rebekah: Splutch? Chelsea: I always said spooch. That's what w that's what Jaclyn Kylie: You guys, no! Hang on. Hang on. no. Chelsea: We gotta cut this out. Rebekah: Is it really called Spooch? And if it's a sunscreen that like, you know? Chelsea: I always said pooch. Rebekah: They they they might be onto something just for shock value marketing. Let me see. What's it called? Chelsea: my gosh. my gosh. Rebekah: Let me see the let me see the spelling. Jaclyn Kylie: Okay, what did you guys say? Rebekah: No, just let me see it. Chelsea: Just like Jaclyn Kylie: Guys, it's called spooge. S-P-O-O-G-E. Chelsea: my gosh. Yeah, that's like Rebekah: What are you Googling to where that's coming up in your algorithm? Jaclyn Kylie: I don't want this anymore, you guys. Okay, first off, and this might make sense now. This might make sense now. Okay, so this one's called the OG whatever. This one's called ghosted, disappears as fast as last week's hookup. This one is called cheeky, protect your assets. Rebekah: Okay, Jacqueline, aren't you supposed Wait what's Chelsea: They're totally Jaclyn Kylie: This one's called Do Me. You do you, I'll do me. Chelsea: my gosh, my face hurts. Rebekah: Jacqueline, I thought you were supposed to be the young hip person that knew all the lingo. Jacqueline, you got sp you got spoofed on your spooch. You got spoofed with the Chelsea: She got s she got spooged. Rebekah: spooch. Jaclyn Kylie: Wait, is, wait, my gosh. Chelsea: Okay, now like what the hell are the ingredients? Rebekah: Where did you get that? Where are they like Jaclyn Kylie: Well, so this girl, like this dermatologist came out with it and she DM'd me and she's like, would you like to try, you know, I would love to show it to you. And I looked at their branding and I was like, my God, it's so cute. Like I love it. And then I tried them and I mean, the smell is so nice, but wait, you guys, this is so embarrassing. And I did like an unboxing and I haven't posted it yet, but I'm over here not Rebekah: Well you gotta Jaclyn Kylie: knowing. Rebekah: You gotta if she sent it to you, you know, it's only Chelsea: Well, is that like a gen like is it our I mean, I don't think I've said the word spooge for ever. Rebekah: Maybe it's just ask her. I would DM her and ask her where she came up with the name. Curiosity. I'm gonna Jaclyn Kylie: Wait, I've heard of... I've heard of the other, like... Rebekah: Google it. Jaclyn Kylie: Stupid city. Okay. Yeah guys spooge S P O O G E am I pronouncing it wrong? Rebekah: I don't think so. But but you know, Chelsea: No, that's how I would assume it's spelled. Rebekah: the fact that like it's called Do Me Sunscreen, I think that it's a play on words. Like I think she knew what she was doing. Jaclyn Kylie: it is. is. says, shield people Chelsea: For sure. Jaclyn Kylie: optimally outdoors, guard everyone. That's what it stands for. Rebekah: Yeah. About us. Yeah, that's interesting. Chelsea: I've never heard of it. Jaclyn Kylie: my God, I was so embarrassed. was like, wait, has it been around for decades and I'm just now hearing about it? Like I thought this was new. Rebekah: That's all right. It's okay. Now you know. Jaclyn Kylie: It smells really good. It's reef safe. It's leaping bunny approved, which means that it's like doesn't test on animals. It's vegan. It's so I have been trying it out and I do like it. I like these two the best. This one kind of gives you like a little bronzy glow, but it's not tinted. And then this is the tinted one and I don't really like the tinted one. And then this is the ghosted one and I don't really like this one. It's like that weird. Have you guys ever tried Trader Joe's clear sunscreen? Chelsea: no, I haven't, but okay. Jaclyn Kylie: It's like that one. But anyway, I've been drying those. Rebekah: So speaking of oils, and I feel like I've used this for years and I don't talk about it a lot. We're getting off the spoon dog here. Jaclyn Kylie: my god. Something okay. Rebekah: Something I and I don't talk about it enough, but I literally use it every single day is the Michelle Corley oils. I'm obsessed. I use it every day. Every day. And I use it in the treatment room Jaclyn Kylie: I love her calming cleansing oil, the best, the best every morning or night. Chelsea: They're so good. They're so yeah. Yes. It's so good. Yeah. Rebekah: to remove for clients who come in with makeup. It's amazing to remove makeup. Chelsea: Yep. Yep. Rebekah: Clients who deal Jaclyn Kylie: The best. Rebekah: with sebaceous filaments, I love the pour clearing cleansing oil for that. They really just massage it in for a couple of minutes before their second cleanse. And it doesn't get its flowers, I feel like, enough. It is such a good product. Chelsea: Yeah. It's Jaclyn Kylie: It is so good. Chelsea: so good. I actually use it. I use it for massage in my treatment room because it you can remove it super easy. It's not pore clogging. Yeah. It's so good. Rebekah: Me too. Me too. Yep. Jaclyn Kylie: That's smart, yeah. Yep. Yeah. My client came in and she had mentioned, is it Epicutus? Epicutus? And remember when I asked you guys, like, what do you guys think? Like, you know, I don't know if I should bring it on, blah, blah, blah. And I got to try some of their products and my client was obsessed with the oil cleanser. And I'm like, okay, how much is it for retail? And she goes, it's 85. And I was like, Chelsea: No. Rebekah: For a cleanser. Jaclyn Kylie: what the hell? And so I tried it and I was pumping and adding more and adding more and adding more, because it just kind of just like dissolves. And then I was like, girl, let me put you on the Michelle Coralie oil. You need one pump, a little bit of water if you want, and you're gonna be obsessed. And it's Rebekah: Yeah, it's like Jaclyn Kylie: $28 retail, $28 under 30. Rebekah: It's amazing. I know. Jaclyn Kylie: Anyway, I got her hooked and she's already on her second bottle and she's dipped the epicutas. It's so good. Rebekah: No, it's so good. I really need to there's some things that like I use every single day and I've literally talked about them once in my ten year career and I'm like, I just need to talk about it more. I'm a Jaclyn Kylie: Yeah, Yeah. Rebekah: it's just such a tried and true that I think I forget how amazing it is when obviously it's amazing if I've used it every single day. But yeah. Jaclyn Kylie: And it's so simple and so affordable and it's good and yeah, no. Rebekah: I feel like them as a brand don't get enough recognition. Chelsea: No, they don't. Jaclyn Kylie: They don't. Chelsea: You know what? I feel like if they would upgrade their packaging, then it would 'cause Jaclyn Kylie: update their packaging. Sore. Chelsea: they're her Rebekah: Yes. No. No, you know what? It Jaclyn Kylie: me think. Chelsea: I just think I get frustrated with products that are so expensive that people think like, it's expensive. The ingredients in this must be better or good. I know. Jaclyn Kylie: especially for a cleanser that you wash off is like insane. Chelsea: And then there's some great and it's like the I I don't know. I just Jaclyn Kylie: I'm trying to think of which... Rebekah: Which what? Jaclyn Kylie: Yeah, I don't I mean, I don't really have any products that I don't love except for the spooge do me and the spooge ghosted like I don't really like them. Rebekah: Okay, wait, this is I meant to bring this up in the like what's going on in the skincare world just 'cause it's like a newer brand that I've been seeing pop up everywhere.
