Elderly Woman Dies in Allen County Crash | Fort Wayne News
An 84-year-old woman, Susan C. Hoffman, died from injuries sustained in a multi-vehicle crash on Tonkel Road, bringing Allen County’s annual traffic fatalities to 21. The collision occurred when Hoffman, stopped at an intersection, began to turn and was struck by a Dodge Nitro, which then hit another vehicle. Both Hoffman and the Nitro driver were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, but Hoffman’s condition deteriorated, leading to her death.
