- 0:39Speaker 3: it called psychosomatics? Yeah, what is it?
- 0:42Speaker 4: Cyclospora?
- 0:43Speaker 5: Cyclospora.
- 0:44Speaker 3: This text says, Hey, I've been thinking about this superbug.
- 0:48Speaker 5: I thought I had the super bug.
- 0:50Speaker 3: So now I'm washing all veggies and fruit in vinegar,
- 0:54Speaker 3: baking soda and water in a bath before putting them
- 0:57Speaker 3: in my fridge. Stacks and hacks, she said, stacks and hats.
- 1:01Speaker 2: That's pretty intense. That'll take care of it.
- 1:03Speaker 5: I don't think that's a thing you can do.
- 1:06Speaker 3: I think the only answer was to like heat them
- 1:09Speaker 3: to one hundred and fifty degrees.
- 1:10Speaker 5: I haven't heard wash it with baking soda.
- 1:12Speaker 4: Oh that doesn't kill it.
- 1:14Speaker 5: I don't know, because I think that would have been
- 1:15Speaker 5: an option.
- 1:16Speaker 3: Everything I've ever heard was boil your vegetables to one
- 1:18Speaker 3: hundred and fifty degrees. I personally will just stay away
- 1:21Speaker 3: from vegetables, although I had brought allini last night.
- 1:23Speaker 4: Yeah you did watch Oh, but it was cooked. It
- 1:25Speaker 4: was cooked.
- 1:26Speaker 3: It was cooked. That's right, You're right, it was cool.
- 1:28Speaker 4: So you did a good job.
- 1:29Speaker 5: Yeah, this stuff's crazy.
- 1:30Speaker 3: By the way, speaking of food and dinners and dating,
- 1:33Speaker 3: where are we, Kyle with the sleep divorce of your husband,
- 1:36Speaker 3: because I know that one time you guys did get
- 1:37Speaker 3: back together.
- 1:40Speaker 6: Yeah, for three months, Scott and I slept in separate
- 1:43Speaker 6: rooms because when we got our puppy, our older dog
- 1:48Speaker 6: did not like the puppy, so we wanted to give
- 1:49Speaker 6: her space and give her time to kind of get.
- 1:52Speaker 4: Used to having Poppy around.
- 1:53Speaker 6: And now Daisy and Poppy they I wouldn't say they
- 1:56Speaker 6: like each other, but they definitely tolerate each other.
- 1:59Speaker 4: And Scott and I are leaving the same room again.
- 2:01Speaker 4: That's fabulous. So we're not arguing over that.
- 2:03Speaker 6: But we are having a bit of an argument over laundry,
- 2:07Speaker 6: and it's kind of an ongoing thing because both of
- 2:10Speaker 6: us don't really have time to do laundry during the
- 2:12Speaker 6: week and so both of us have to do laundry
- 2:14Speaker 6: on the weekends, and it usually ends up being the
- 2:17Speaker 6: exact same time we want to do laundry, and it's
- 2:19Speaker 6: kind of like, oh, his stuff is in there, or
- 2:21Speaker 6: he's like, oh, her stuff is in there, right, And
- 2:23Speaker 6: I have kind of a problem too. I'll start the
- 2:26Speaker 6: load and then I'll go about my day and get
- 2:28Speaker 6: busy at do a million things. And yes, sometimes the
- 2:32Speaker 6: laundry sits in the laundry and sometimes the dryer sits
- 2:35Speaker 6: in the dryer, which is what has happened the.
- 2:37Speaker 4: Last few days.
- 2:38Speaker 6: So Saturday I told Scott, I said, you can't do
- 2:43Speaker 6: laundry because I'm doing laundry. I have a bunch of
- 2:45Speaker 6: laundry to do, so it's just it's my day, okay.
- 2:48Speaker 4: And he was like, okay, well I have to.
- 2:50Speaker 6: Go out of town anyways, and I was like great,
- 2:52Speaker 6: So my plan was to get all my laundry done
- 2:55Speaker 6: on Saturday. Sunday rolled around and I'm like Oh my gosh.
- 2:59Speaker 6: You know, we went to I took the kids to Vegas,
- 3:01Speaker 6: and I still haven't unpacked or done their laundry from
- 3:04Speaker 6: that trip. So I got now two more loads of
- 3:06Speaker 6: laundry to do. So I start those loads. I go
- 3:09Speaker 6: about my day.
- 3:10Speaker 4: It gets busy, I forget about it.
- 3:12Speaker 6: Monday comes around, I'm still not thinking about the laundry, right,
- 3:16Speaker 6: and Scott goes So can I still not do laundry today?
- 3:20Speaker 6: It's like, I guess not because I haven't. I haven't
- 3:24Speaker 6: taken enough. But I'll get him done.
- 3:26Speaker 2: Do you wash it and forget to put it in
- 3:27Speaker 2: the dryer? Sometimes?
- 3:29Speaker 6: Yes, and then sometimes I have to resh it. Yes,
- 3:31Speaker 6: that does happen. This does not happen. So there is
- 3:33Speaker 6: just there's clean there's clean clothing the dryer right now
- 3:36Speaker 6: as we speak.
- 3:37Speaker 4: So another day has gone by. I forgot about it again.
- 3:39Speaker 6: So now today my goal is when I get home
- 3:42Speaker 6: from work, I should probably take care of that laundry
- 3:45Speaker 6: because he does. He does have a lot of laundry
- 3:47Speaker 6: that he means to get done, and it's kind of
- 3:49Speaker 6: running out of underwear.
- 3:52Speaker 4: No, no, definitely.
- 3:54Speaker 2: The kids and hers.
- 3:55Speaker 4: Yeah, No, he's not doing the whole house is worth
- 3:58Speaker 4: of laundry. I'm sorry.
- 3:59Speaker 7: Yeah, my mom always our laundry, and now my momy
- 4:01Speaker 7: does our laundry, which is really nice.
- 4:03Speaker 3: That is, my mom always did my laundry, and now my.
- 4:05Speaker 7: Life is like I would when could he and I
- 4:07Speaker 7: were living in our apartment before we even moved into
- 4:09Speaker 7: the house, like I would bring garbage bags of laundry
- 4:12Speaker 7: over to my mom and my grandma's house and be like,
- 4:14Speaker 7: can you help?
- 4:15Speaker 8: It just smells better?
- 4:16Speaker 4: Have you ever done your own laundry?
- 4:17Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 4:18Speaker 8: But I hate, okay, I hate doing the laundry.
- 4:19Speaker 7: I know it's not I can't get it to like
- 4:22Speaker 7: smell the way my mom and my mom may get
- 4:23Speaker 7: it to smell. And that's like that nostalgia that I
- 4:26Speaker 7: that I want. And I hate folding the laundry. I
- 4:29Speaker 7: don't like laundry.
- 4:30Speaker 4: I don't like putting away the laundry.
- 4:31Speaker 6: So currently I have laundry in the washer and the dryer,
- 4:35Speaker 6: and then clean laundry on my floor in.
- 4:37Speaker 4: My closet, ready to put away it folded. It's folded,
- 4:41Speaker 4: and it's ready to put the hangars on.
- 4:43Speaker 5: I'm okay, but hey, Kyle, what got you to you do?
- 4:46Speaker 3: Like what's the how do you get to the point
- 4:48Speaker 3: of him doing his laundry and you doing yours.
- 4:50Speaker 6: We just always have There's just have never been a
- 4:53Speaker 6: point where I've done his laundry.
- 4:54Speaker 3: So what you guys got together it was it was
- 4:56Speaker 3: it like, hey, we're gonna merge bank accounts and we're
- 4:57Speaker 3: going to merge laundry.
- 4:58Speaker 6: No, we still haven't merged bank account we'dn't merge things.
- 5:01Speaker 6: We're independent lovers.
- 5:04Speaker 5: That's cool.
- 5:05Speaker 3: Yeah, so if you make your own car payment, he
- 5:07Speaker 3: makes it. It's like that all that stuff.
- 5:10Speaker 6: No, but there are certain bills that he covers. There
- 5:12Speaker 6: certain bills that I cover. Does that make sense, Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 5:15Speaker 6: so yeah, so there's certain things like that, like we
- 5:18Speaker 6: don't we have a combined we have a credit card
- 5:20Speaker 6: that we both use and then we'll both pay a.
- 5:22Speaker 4: Little bit of the whatever the bill is at the
- 5:25Speaker 4: end of the month. Yeah, so that that works for us.
- 5:28Speaker 6: But I will say I'm so like, I hate laundry
- 5:31Speaker 6: so much that if it was at a point where
- 5:33Speaker 6: he wanted me to do my laundry, I would probably
- 5:35Speaker 6: do what my mom did to my stepdad back in
- 5:37Speaker 6: the day. She just started like she just throws everything
- 5:40Speaker 6: all in. She doesn't like separate the colors or anything
- 5:42Speaker 6: like that, and he was like almost excuting ruined.
- 5:44Speaker 4: She's like, well, then do your own laundry, and he did,
- 5:47Speaker 4: and so that was the one chore that he did.
- 5:50Speaker 4: And she was like, I didn't do it the way
- 5:53Speaker 4: he liked it, so then he did it.
- 5:55Speaker 5: I would just take it ruined.
- 5:56Speaker 9: And I think I.
- 5:58Speaker 4: Think Scott is particular.
- 6:00Speaker 6: He's particular about his laundry, so he would not want
- 6:03Speaker 6: me to do the laundry. It works for us, except
- 6:07Speaker 6: when I don't get it done and then it gets mad.
- 6:09Speaker 3: So Peyton said something and I want to I can't
- 6:12Speaker 3: really relate to what you said, but I have a
- 6:14Speaker 3: different version of what you said.
- 6:15Speaker 5: And it was about washing your mouth that was soaping.
- 6:17Speaker 8: Yeah, I washed my mouth that was soap. Why you know,
- 6:20Speaker 8: and like yourself, you know what you would say a
- 6:22Speaker 8: bad word? Yeah, and your mom would put the bar
- 6:24Speaker 8: soap in your mouse.
- 6:25Speaker 2: Well I know this so well exactly.
- 6:26Speaker 8: Yeah, me too.
- 6:27Speaker 7: I had a I was slick with it. My mom
- 6:28Speaker 7: was she played no games. But no, I did accidentally
- 6:32Speaker 7: wash my mouth that was soap. Because I went up
- 6:34Speaker 7: north A couple of weekends ago, and my shampoo exploded
- 6:37Speaker 7: in my travel bag where I also had my toothbrush,
- 6:40Speaker 7: and I thought I got it all until I went
- 6:42Speaker 7: to go scrub.
- 6:42Speaker 8: My burly whites and it literally tasted like a.
- 6:45Speaker 2: Carwalk that memory you have, that memory of what you
- 6:49Speaker 2: said before the last time exactly.
- 6:51Speaker 7: I remember the very first, like well one of the
- 6:53Speaker 7: very first times my mom washed my mouth that was soap.
- 6:55Speaker 7: I was like a freshman in high school, and all
- 6:57Speaker 7: throughout high school, if I said something, she would do
- 6:59Speaker 7: the to the bathroom.
- 7:01Speaker 3: Okay, wait, so you're brushing your teeth and then does
- 7:03Speaker 3: your mouth start to froth because it's.
- 7:05Speaker 5: The soap taste?
- 7:06Speaker 8: It like soap. I know that everyone knows that tastes
- 7:09Speaker 8: how it tastes. And I'm like.
- 7:11Speaker 2: Brushing my teeth dials worse than Irish spray because I've
- 7:15Speaker 2: had them both.
- 7:15Speaker 7: And you know what was really upsetting was that it
- 7:17Speaker 7: was my fancy new shampoo that I got from the cart.
- 7:21Speaker 3: This is what this is what happened to me before,
- 7:23Speaker 3: and this has happened to me, I would say in
- 7:24Speaker 3: my lifetime three or four times. And when it happened
- 7:28Speaker 3: the other day, I thought, I want to bring this
- 7:30Speaker 3: up some day on the air. I don't know Winter House,
- 7:32Speaker 3: So now I did, and now I can. I was
- 7:34Speaker 3: washing my I was in the shower in my backyard.
- 7:36Speaker 3: I'm shower back there, and I was showering, and I
- 7:37Speaker 3: was washing my hair, so I had all the shampoo
- 7:40Speaker 3: and for me and I don't it's a girl thing,
- 7:42Speaker 3: a guy thing. But when I shampoo and I scrubbed
- 7:44Speaker 3: my head, I do it really fast, you know, and
- 7:46Speaker 3: then the soap go will holler my face and I'll
- 7:48Speaker 3: rub the soap the shampoo it's on my face, I
- 7:50Speaker 3: rub it into my face as if it's I'm cleaning
- 7:52Speaker 3: my face, and my freaking pinky went up my nostrils.
- 7:55Speaker 7: Oh that's happened to me before, right, bad, Yes, that's happened.
- 8:01Speaker 8: To me before.
- 8:03Speaker 5: Oh my goodness. Is that a wake up call?
- 8:05Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 8:05Speaker 8: Can imagine with like acrylic nails, john.
- 8:08Speaker 3: Ja, Oh my god, like.
- 8:10Speaker 8: You literally touch your brain.
- 8:13Speaker 3: And that's when you have this reality like why am
- 8:14Speaker 3: I so frantic rubbing my face one hundred miles an hour?
- 8:17Speaker 3: Like just go casual. Then the picky won't go up there.
- 8:20Speaker 3: You're like, what all is hurt? So bad? It's gotta
- 8:23Speaker 3: give her brush your teeth and you go too hard
- 8:25Speaker 3: and you hit all the way up in your God. Yeah, yeah,
- 8:28Speaker 3: it sucks. Anyway, It waits anyway, John Jay and Rich,
- 8:32Speaker 3: Good morning, Dart.
- 8:34Speaker 2: Your day with John Jay and Rich.
- 8:36Speaker 8: I wake up with my favorite artist.
- 8:37Speaker 4: Hey, this is Sabrina Carpenter.
- 8:39Speaker 5: What's up, guys?
- 8:39Speaker 8: This is Blown Boone and you're waking up with John
- 8:42Speaker 8: Jay and Rich.
- 8:43Speaker 3: Time for Peyton's predictions for horoscopes. Peyton was, today, we're.
- 8:47Speaker 7: Halfway through the week and we're kind of in this
- 8:49Speaker 7: weird transition phase of cancer season into Leo's season.
- 8:53Speaker 8: So I'm gonna go and tell you.
- 8:54Speaker 7: Exactly what you can expect for the rest of the
- 8:56Speaker 7: week and how it's going to kind of affect you
- 8:57Speaker 7: in your zodiac sign. If it's your birthday today, you
- 9:01Speaker 7: are a cancer and you share a birthday with Selena Gomez,
- 9:04Speaker 7: Daniel Spade, Madison Pettis, and William Dafoe. So I feel
- 9:08Speaker 7: like I should just get into cancers.
- 9:10Speaker 5: First of all, it's Willem. It's not William.
- 9:13Speaker 3: Oh really yeah, it's a big mistake.
- 9:15Speaker 5: It bothers him.
- 9:16Speaker 4: A lot, So sorry, will will will Willim.
- 9:20Speaker 3: Stephanie, I believe is a cancer. That's a Hi to
- 9:22Speaker 3: Stephanie High. Stephanie, Hi.
- 9:24Speaker 10: Yesterday was my birthday and my survivorversary.
- 9:31Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 9:31Speaker 10: And the reason I call it my survivorversary is because
- 9:35Speaker 10: I before I was born, I had a stroke in
- 9:39Speaker 10: your row.
- 9:41Speaker 3: Wow.
- 9:41Speaker 2: How do they know that they.
- 9:43Speaker 10: Did a MRI and it showed the brain damage?
- 9:47Speaker 2: WHOA wow?
- 9:49Speaker 3: Well, congratulations and happy birthday, thank you.
- 9:52Speaker 7: Yeah. I'm gonna give your your cancer reading and kind
- 9:54Speaker 7: of how you're gonna vibe out for the rest of
- 9:56Speaker 7: the week. So for my cancers, you guys know that
- 9:58Speaker 7: you're that sweet and sense soul and you're taking on
- 10:01Speaker 7: a gentle midweek breather to kind of recharge your emotional battery.
- 10:05Speaker 8: So you're gonna push.
- 10:05Speaker 7: Through today with probably like a warm beverage in hand.
- 10:09Speaker 7: I know it's hot outside right now, but like sometimes
- 10:11Speaker 7: it's just like an internal hug and you're fully planning
- 10:13Speaker 7: to kind of wrap up the week by curling under
- 10:15Speaker 7: a soft blanket with your favorite comfort movie. My recommendation
- 10:18Speaker 7: would be go see The Odyssey because it was really good.
- 10:21Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 10:22Speaker 10: I went to see Young Washington yesterday.
- 10:26Speaker 2: How was that?
- 10:27Speaker 10: It was amazing until like, wait, he had a love
- 10:30Speaker 10: interest before Martha.
- 10:32Speaker 3: He was quite a swinging bacheler back in the day
- 10:34Speaker 3: before being president, pre revolutionary.
- 10:38Speaker 2: Tinder was out of control. He couldn't help it. It
- 10:42Speaker 2: was actually tender.
- 10:43Speaker 3: It would all right, thanks for calling in, have a
- 10:46Speaker 3: great day, Happy birthday, Thank you.
- 10:49Speaker 5: What's your sign, Darylyn Libra?
- 10:52Speaker 8: Oh just like Kyle.
- 10:53Speaker 7: Okay, So for my libras, halfway through this week, you're
- 10:56Speaker 7: kind of entering a little bit of crisis mode today,
- 10:59Speaker 7: trying to balance your midweek workload without like stressing everyone
- 11:03Speaker 7: else around you. So you're gonna kind of charm your
- 11:05Speaker 7: way through today's deadlines, but you're ultimately gonna wrap up
- 11:08Speaker 7: the week kind of floating between two different groups social groups,
- 11:12Speaker 7: jes so you can get your social battery back up
- 11:14Speaker 7: because you are feeling a little bit drained with the
- 11:16Speaker 7: back to school energy and things like that would be great.
- 11:21Speaker 4: Yeah, perfect, little reach, have a great day.
- 11:25Speaker 3: Let's do Rich and yeah.
- 11:27Speaker 8: Rich are pisces.
- 11:29Speaker 7: You are so heavily like disassociated in life right now
- 11:33Speaker 7: that today kind of is gonna feel like like a blur, truly,
- 11:37Speaker 7: like you're gonna look at and it's gonna be like,
- 11:38Speaker 7: you don't have your glasses on, so you're gonna float
- 11:40Speaker 7: through the rest of the week during your midweek tasks
- 11:42Speaker 7: and whatnot, but you're gonna pretty much wrap it up
- 11:45Speaker 7: by relaxing, find yourself by the pool. You need some
- 11:49Speaker 7: vitamin D rich. I can see it right here. You
- 11:53Speaker 7: need a tam you know what, what's the stub ring?
- 12:00Speaker 3: YEA.
- 12:00Speaker 2: I don't think you're supposed to be by the pool
- 12:02Speaker 2: during a thunderstorm.
- 12:03Speaker 4: You're pretty sure that would be bad.
- 12:06Speaker 3: All right?
- 12:06Speaker 5: How about for you for Leo's.
- 12:08Speaker 7: Yeah, Leo's, we are entering the week kind of really
- 12:11Speaker 7: feeling ourselves right now. We're carrying the rooms kind of
- 12:14Speaker 7: on our back right now because by the end of
- 12:16Speaker 7: the week.
- 12:17Speaker 8: We are fully in our Leo season.
- 12:19Speaker 7: So kind of just to take today to kind of
- 12:21Speaker 7: just take it to yourself because the next couple of weeks,
- 12:24Speaker 7: when we are in Leo season is going to be
- 12:26Speaker 7: pretty insane and.
- 12:27Speaker 8: Wild for us.
- 12:28Speaker 5: How about Virgos.
- 12:29Speaker 8: John Jay is our virgo in the room.
- 12:31Speaker 7: So Virgos, you're that kind of mastermind right now who's
- 12:35Speaker 7: knocking off your to do list like with insane precision.
- 12:38Speaker 7: Right now, you do have a little bit of judging,
- 12:41Speaker 7: eyes wandering until every detail is organized. But you've got
- 12:44Speaker 7: to make sure that you wrap up the week with
- 12:46Speaker 7: a perfectly structured plan for what you're trying to do
- 12:50Speaker 7: for the next six months going into the end of
- 12:51Speaker 7: the year. This is going to be a really big
- 12:52Speaker 7: week for my virgos and setting your goals and your manifestations.
- 12:56Speaker 3: Well that's great, Yeah, because Kyle reinspired me because she
- 12:59Speaker 3: did her vision boards with their friends and I've been
- 13:02Speaker 3: it's on my list to get I got to write
- 13:04Speaker 3: down on my things to do, to get to my
- 13:06Speaker 3: vision board, to redo it, to update it. That's that's
- 13:10Speaker 3: that's the next six months. Thanks Peyton, that's a good one.
- 13:12Speaker 3: Thank you so much. All Right, if we can get
- 13:14Speaker 3: to your sign they, I'll post it on our website.
- 13:16Speaker 3: John Jayndrich dot com.
- 13:18Speaker 8: I didn't think good and thistand me.
- 13:26Speaker 3: John Jay and Rich Riley, good morning, you're on the air.
- 13:28Speaker 3: How can we help you?
- 13:30Speaker 11: Hey? So I immediately broke up with my ex and
- 13:37Speaker 11: I blocked him on everything right away.
- 13:40Speaker 12: And so a few weeks after.
- 13:41Speaker 11: The breakup, I started getting all these random Amazon packages
- 13:46Speaker 11: and there wasn't like a gifts not or anything on them,
- 13:49Speaker 11: and it was like candles and snacks and face masks.
- 13:54Speaker 11: And I thought I had like a secret admirer or something,
- 13:58Speaker 11: and or like I thought maybe my ex was trying
- 14:01Speaker 11: to like win me back, and I found out that it.
- 14:05Speaker 12: Was his mom.
- 14:07Speaker 11: She felt so bad about how her son treated me
- 14:11Speaker 11: that she started sending me apology gifts without telling him.
- 14:15Speaker 2: Oh that's nice. Ah, you should add some stuff to
- 14:21Speaker 2: your wish list and see how much more things you
- 14:23Speaker 2: can get.
- 14:24Speaker 11: Oh my gosh, that's a great idea. I didn't think
- 14:28Speaker 11: of that. That's a really good idea.
- 14:30Speaker 2: That's a good body wash on there. Put all the
- 14:32Speaker 2: good stuff.
- 14:32Speaker 11: On there exactly. I have to say, she's a pretty
- 14:35Speaker 11: good gift giver. Like she already knew a lot of
- 14:39Speaker 11: the stuff that I liked, So she was already sending
- 14:42Speaker 11: me stuff that I've been using.
- 14:44Speaker 13: Just didn't know who it was.
- 14:45Speaker 11: I just thought it was so funny that it.
- 14:46Speaker 10: Was his mom.
- 14:48Speaker 4: It's a nice mom, right, nice.
- 14:50Speaker 5: She felt guilty.
- 14:51Speaker 4: She wanted you to be a daughter in law. She did.
- 14:53Speaker 8: She's like, you really ruined this for me.
- 14:57Speaker 11: Yeah, no, I'm definitely getting that vibe.
- 15:00Speaker 10: And yeah, it is really sad.
- 15:02Speaker 11: I have to say, like I wish I could still
- 15:05Speaker 11: like have a relationship with his mom and just saw him.
- 15:09Speaker 6: Actually, one of my girlfriends she dated this guy for
- 15:12Speaker 6: I think three or four years, and she got so
- 15:15Speaker 6: close with his sister and his mom that for probably
- 15:20Speaker 6: a good almost ten years after they broke up, she
- 15:23Speaker 6: would like go to lunch with the mom and the sister.
- 15:26Speaker 6: She would see them quite often, not quite often, but
- 15:29Speaker 6: a lot more often than you would expect to see
- 15:31Speaker 6: your exes siblings and parents.
- 15:34Speaker 7: Did she like date anyone else during those years as
- 15:37Speaker 7: she saw him, because I feel like like if I
- 15:39Speaker 7: did that, Kadeen would feel some kind of.
- 15:41Speaker 8: Way and he'd be like, what are you hanging out
- 15:43Speaker 8: with him for?
- 15:44Speaker 4: But like to her, to the guy, she was like, Oh,
- 15:46Speaker 4: I'm just going to hang out with my friend.
- 15:48Speaker 6: Okay, her mom and her mom, not my exes sister
- 15:52Speaker 6: and my exes mom.
- 15:56Speaker 3: Have a great day. Hi, Rachel, you're on the air.
- 16:03Speaker 5: Good morning.
- 16:05Speaker 14: Good morning. So I heard someone come on and talk
- 16:09Speaker 14: about finding money in a dresser she got from Facebook marketplace,
- 16:14Speaker 14: and I had to share something similar that.
- 16:16Speaker 15: Happened to me.
- 16:17Speaker 5: Okay, what happened?
- 16:18Speaker 14: Yeah, So I stopped at this random garage sale and
- 16:22Speaker 14: bought this cute little jewelry box for like five bucks.
- 16:26Speaker 14: And when I got home, I realized it had a
- 16:28Speaker 14: false bottom. I thought I hit the jackpot, but inside
- 16:33Speaker 14: wasn't money. It was a bunch of handwritten letters between
- 16:37Speaker 14: two female neighbors who had been secretly having an affair
- 16:40Speaker 14: for almost twenty years. Amazing, Yeah, like a whole staffag
- 16:47Speaker 14: love affair in the eighties. I ended up finding the
- 16:50Speaker 14: women online to return them, and she started crying because
- 16:53Speaker 14: she'd been looking for those letters.
- 16:55Speaker 4: Oh oh my goodness.
- 16:58Speaker 2: But whatever happened to them? Did they ever, you know,
- 17:01Speaker 2: make it official or was it just forbidden and over?
- 17:04Speaker 14: So I don't know, and I kind of don't want
- 17:07Speaker 14: to know, because like those letters were like pretty seem
- 17:10Speaker 14: me and I definitely read every word. So I'd rather just,
- 17:14Speaker 14: you know, keep it like where it is. I don't
- 17:18Speaker 14: want to hear like that anything bad happened, you know.
- 17:21Speaker 3: You know, I don't know if this is true or not,
- 17:23Speaker 3: because I don't get my information in normal places. In fact,
- 17:26Speaker 3: I got this information, which I'm about to tell you,
- 17:28Speaker 3: from an episode of Will and Grace. Okay, but I
- 17:31Speaker 3: believe Abraham Lincoln they did. They found letters from Abraham
- 17:35Speaker 3: Lincoln and a guy now again episode of Will and Grace. Okay,
- 17:39Speaker 3: which is a show about gay people. But and then
- 17:42Speaker 3: I thought they made a play about it. So but
- 17:44Speaker 3: I believed it.
- 17:45Speaker 14: Oh, I'm definitely googling this like a sap, I.
- 17:48Speaker 3: Wonder because it will google it. Yeah, I actually don't
- 17:50Speaker 3: know about that. I mean, if I'm just it'd be
- 17:54Speaker 3: so sad. That's actually where I get my information. And
- 17:56Speaker 3: I'm wrong either way. If I'm wrong or right, it's
- 17:58Speaker 3: still sad. Abraham Lincoln rumors being gay?
- 18:03Speaker 14: Gabraham Lincoln.
- 18:04Speaker 4: Oh, so Google says.
- 18:09Speaker 6: Historians have not found definitive letters proving Abraham Lincoln had
- 18:13Speaker 6: a romantic or sexual relationship with a man, though his
- 18:16Speaker 6: close friendship with a merchant named Joshua Speed had sparked
- 18:19Speaker 6: major debate. They shared a bed for four years and
- 18:22Speaker 6: exchanged deeply affectionate letters, but mainstream scholars remained divided on
- 18:28Speaker 6: whether or not that actually.
- 18:29Speaker 5: Meant Okay, but I'm not making it up like there is.
- 18:33Speaker 3: It's a storyline.
- 18:34Speaker 5: It's an existing storyline.
- 18:35Speaker 4: It said.
- 18:36Speaker 6: Much of it's preserved in the papers of Abraham Lincoln.
- 18:39Speaker 3: Were any of those letters, any of the women merchants
- 18:42Speaker 3: whatever that is. No, do they even have merchants nowadays?
- 18:48Speaker 6: I would think a merchant would be like people who like, yeah,
- 18:51Speaker 6: were like yeah, just stores.
- 18:52Speaker 2: Of the mall right.
- 18:53Speaker 3: I wonder whether they just call them all salesmen and
- 18:56Speaker 3: so that they all yet all right, Hey, thank you,
- 19:01Speaker 3: thanks for calling in, Rachel.
- 19:02Speaker 5: Have a great day.
- 19:03Speaker 14: Thank you.
- 19:04Speaker 3: Micro tap it and.
- 19:05Speaker 9: Say what's up?
- 19:06Speaker 8: Sure, open the free ie Heart radio app and tap
- 19:09Speaker 8: the dock back Mike.
- 19:10Speaker 4: Just then John Jay and Richard message.
- 19:11Speaker 3: Now time for stacks and hacks. I have stacks of
- 19:14Speaker 3: information and rich has got life hacks of information. There
- 19:18Speaker 3: is a raccoon in Seattle. It's been going viral because
- 19:22Speaker 3: it's so recognizable. In fact, I wonder if you guys
- 19:24Speaker 3: can google it and see this little raccoon.
- 19:26Speaker 2: I've seen it. It runs kind of funky.
- 19:28Speaker 3: It's the raccoon's name is Jimathy. It's suffered from short
- 19:32Speaker 3: spine syndrome, which gives it a very recognizable shape and posture.
- 19:36Speaker 8: Yeah, I've seen this before. He like kinda is like hunchback.
- 19:41Speaker 7: Yeah, it's actually kind of fast. I'm like to me,
- 19:43Speaker 7: it's kind of sad. Actually, he looks like it looks
- 19:46Speaker 7: like it hurts.
- 19:47Speaker 3: So when you guys go walking, I think there's different
- 19:49Speaker 3: levels of walking. Like I walk to get my steps,
- 19:51Speaker 3: I get on a treadmill, walk pretty fast. I walk
- 19:53Speaker 3: around if I'm walking like the street or walking around
- 19:56Speaker 3: the neighborhood or walking in the mall, kind of goes slow.
- 19:58Speaker 3: But if I'm in the airport, I walk really fast.
- 20:00Speaker 3: And there was this survey that said seven percent of
- 20:02Speaker 3: people considered themselves a fast walker, very fast walker, twenty
- 20:06Speaker 3: nine percent I think they're somewhat fast, twelve percent say
- 20:09Speaker 3: they're slow, five percent say they're very slow.
- 20:11Speaker 2: My wife says, I stroll. You just strolled, you got
- 20:17Speaker 2: you know. Compare to Kyle, who I think is a
- 20:20Speaker 2: fast walker. Kyle walks kind of fast.
- 20:22Speaker 8: I just all love legs.
- 20:23Speaker 4: It just depends if like I'm in a hurry.
- 20:25Speaker 6: But also I do like I do feel like most
- 20:29Speaker 6: of the time, maybe eighty percent of the time, like
- 20:30Speaker 6: I'm walking to get somewhere, like let's let's get.
- 20:33Speaker 3: There right, Like when you didn't walk it with your
- 20:36Speaker 3: sisters for that effort exercise. Though, yeah, remember did they
- 20:39Speaker 3: walk way fast? They did?
- 20:40Speaker 4: Yea, and they did walk fast yeah, yeah.
- 20:41Speaker 5: And you couldn't. You couldn't hang.
- 20:43Speaker 4: And then one ran and I could not hang with
- 20:45Speaker 4: the running.
- 20:47Speaker 3: Colorado police arrested a man from Arizona after he was
- 20:52Speaker 3: caught surfing naked on top of a moving train.
- 20:56Speaker 2: Ooh.
- 20:56Speaker 3: Cops say he expressed his love for vodka, beer and
- 20:59Speaker 3: playing the banjo. That person from Arizona, I believe is
- 21:03Speaker 3: our very own Nick Johnson.
- 21:07Speaker 5: Arm producer. Woman in New York is going viral.
- 21:10Speaker 3: Now. I want to really get into this later on,
- 21:13Speaker 3: but this woman's going viral. After ranting how she nixed
- 21:18Speaker 3: a date. She ended the date because the guy picked
- 21:20Speaker 3: the lame restaurant she insists on white tablecloths and having
- 21:25Speaker 3: a car sent for her, and because he didn't do that,
- 21:28Speaker 3: she was like, I'm out.
- 21:33Speaker 2: Well, I guess if that's the kind of guy you're
- 21:36Speaker 2: trying to attract, then maybe that's the sort of date
- 21:40Speaker 2: you should go on a minimum. Yeah, that's your world.
- 21:43Speaker 2: I guess you're not gonna get a whole lot of
- 21:45Speaker 2: dudes that are into that, but maybe one you care.
- 21:48Speaker 3: I think you meet a guy, you go on a date,
- 21:50Speaker 3: and then like, that's a fun goal to get to
- 21:52Speaker 3: go in those kind of restaurants, but not every restaurant.
- 21:54Speaker 3: Every date's going to be like that unless there's a
- 21:57Speaker 3: special app for that white tablecloth app. Women ordered soulmate
- 22:03Speaker 3: drawings from someone on eBay. Okay, I'm not sure what
- 22:05Speaker 3: that is, but I think we can figure it out.
- 22:07Speaker 3: It's like a psychic that draws your soulmate. I guess
- 22:09Speaker 3: A week later she met a person who looked like
- 22:11Speaker 3: a lot like the drawing, and now two years later
- 22:13Speaker 3: they're engaged.
- 22:14Speaker 4: W dang it worked.
- 22:17Speaker 3: Man, Florida police chief, is resigned after he was accused
- 22:20Speaker 3: of having sex with the wife of a man he
- 22:22Speaker 3: was investigating.
- 22:25Speaker 5: A study found.
- 22:26Speaker 3: Excess body fat maybe linked to more than eleven percent
- 22:30Speaker 3: of all cancers, nearly double earlier estimates.
- 22:34Speaker 5: Huh good, Oh no, get this.
- 22:37Speaker 3: People are debating about a call call a toy called
- 22:40Speaker 3: My Mini Baby Mom in Surprise Doll. It's a pregnant
- 22:43Speaker 3: doll with a removable stomach that contains a very realistic
- 22:46Speaker 3: and amiemotic sack with a tiny plastic baby and slime inside.
- 22:52Speaker 4: M that's kind of gross.
- 22:54Speaker 2: Don't give that to anybody if that comes out. Nobody
- 22:57Speaker 2: wants their kid to have that. Yeah, that sounds gross
- 23:00Speaker 2: oh Man. Anyway, that's great, Just get those orders in
- 23:04Speaker 2: for Christmas.
- 23:05Speaker 3: What do you got for life hacks? Rich?
- 23:06Speaker 2: All right, So this is from doctor Sleep, who we've
- 23:09Speaker 2: had on our show before. And if you have problems
- 23:13Speaker 2: falling to sleep, this trick is so simple. Once you
- 23:17Speaker 2: do it for three nights in a row, you'll be
- 23:20Speaker 2: asleep within fifteen minutes every time. And here's the trick.
- 23:22Speaker 2: You gott to avoid checking your phone during this, changing
- 23:25Speaker 2: positions or fidgeting. The simple trick is to stay as
- 23:28Speaker 2: still as you can for ten to fifteen minutes with
- 23:31Speaker 2: your eyes closed. So what that does when you're motionless,
- 23:35Speaker 2: it actually helps signal your brain that it's time to
- 23:38Speaker 2: wind down and sleep. In fact, it'll probably start happening
- 23:41Speaker 2: to you during the day too, if you sit down
- 23:44Speaker 2: in a chair and so, no, it's not going to
- 23:46Speaker 2: work every time, but if you're tossing and turning, staying
- 23:48Speaker 2: perfectly still may help you drift off a little faster.
- 23:51Speaker 2: And the more you do it, the more it'll work
- 23:53Speaker 2: for you. Let us know how that works for you.
- 23:55Speaker 2: That little tip and many more live hacks are up
- 23:58Speaker 2: at John Jayne Rich dot com.
- 24:00Speaker 3: Can mariana good morning you are on the air.
- 24:12Speaker 2: Hey, good morning.
- 24:14Speaker 16: So I've been dating this guy for a couple of
- 24:17Speaker 16: months now, and I swear like every time we go out,
- 24:19Speaker 16: he magically somehow has enough reward points for like free appetizers,
- 24:24Speaker 16: free drinks, free dessert. One time he even got me
- 24:28Speaker 16: like an entire like pasta andre for free, Like it
- 24:31Speaker 16: was crazy. And he acts like he's just like, you know,
- 24:34Speaker 16: like unbelievably lucky. But I'm not like dumb, right, like,
- 24:38Speaker 16: like nobody earns that many restaurant points like taking me
- 24:42Speaker 16: out twice a month, Like I know, I know exactly
- 24:45Speaker 16: what's going on. Like he it's obvious that he's like
- 24:48Speaker 16: builds up an entire you know, rewards account from taking
- 24:52Speaker 16: girls on the same day, like over and over and
- 24:55Speaker 16: over and over and over again. And the hilarious part
- 24:57Speaker 16: to me is that, like he thinks I have absolutely
- 24:59Speaker 16: no idea what's going on. But he went to the
- 25:01Speaker 16: bathroom during our last date, and the server came to
- 25:05Speaker 16: me and told me that, like he's brought other girls
- 25:08Speaker 16: here like as recently as last week.
- 25:11Speaker 2: Yeah, server shushed, And you think that's part of this?
- 25:15Speaker 4: Yeah, I was just gonna say, she's looking out for
- 25:17Speaker 4: another girl.
- 25:19Speaker 2: Do you know what's happening If he's using all the
- 25:20Speaker 2: reward points for you, he's spending the money on the
- 25:23Speaker 2: girls that he wants to go out with, and you're
- 25:25Speaker 2: getting the reward point dinners.
- 25:26Speaker 5: Oh, they'd be like a hip hop violation.
- 25:30Speaker 16: I mean, listen, free food is free food, so like,
- 25:32Speaker 16: I don't mind, but it's I just think it's hilarious
- 25:35Speaker 16: that he thinks I have no idea.
- 25:36Speaker 3: But you guys are a boyfriend or girlfriend right, No, well,
- 25:40Speaker 3: he's not doing anything wrong. I remember there was a
- 25:42Speaker 3: girl that I was I kind of like, who are friends?
- 25:44Speaker 3: And I was just getting a job in radio, and
- 25:47Speaker 3: back in the day, there was what was called trade
- 25:50Speaker 3: where you'd get like gift certificates to restaurants and stuff.
- 25:52Speaker 3: And I would get gift certificates and I would take
- 25:55Speaker 3: this girl out to dinner and pay and the gift
- 25:57Speaker 3: certificates picture like monopoly money, like a five dollars monopoly
- 26:01Speaker 3: but is that the yellow one? But picture it a
- 26:03Speaker 3: massive It's a massive dollar. It was like a huge
- 26:06Speaker 3: like the size of a like a six to eight
- 26:08Speaker 3: inch card, flimsy, and I'd have to pay it in money,
- 26:12Speaker 3: like as a bill for I didn't care.
- 26:17Speaker 9: I was I was trying.
- 26:19Speaker 3: I didn't either that or we're not eating anywhere.
- 26:21Speaker 4: Yeah, no shame.
- 26:27Speaker 3: So does it bother you or does it bother you
- 26:28Speaker 3: that he's doing it that way? Or does it bother
- 26:30Speaker 3: you that there's other women involved?
- 26:32Speaker 16: No, I'm not really bothered by it. I just think
- 26:34Speaker 16: it's like hilarious that like guys don't think we're in
- 26:37Speaker 16: on their you know, their little Yeah, Like it's just
- 26:42Speaker 16: so transparent to me.
- 26:44Speaker 2: He's gaming dating, like he's getting enough for word points actually,
- 26:47Speaker 2: you know, like if you called him, if we called him,
- 26:49Speaker 2: he'd probably be like, oh, yeah, I take my grandmother
- 26:52Speaker 2: out the dinner every Tuesday, every Tuesday.
- 26:53Speaker 5: And I was like.
- 26:57Speaker 2: I was the server, a girl or a guy because
- 27:03Speaker 2: it was a guy. He was making his marrow okay.
- 27:07Speaker 16: So it wasn't that. I think she was just kind
- 27:09Speaker 16: of like, girl, the girl, I need you to know
- 27:11Speaker 16: what's going on? Oh girl, I know, and it's fine.
- 27:16Speaker 3: So like it's so I feel like that's such a
- 27:19Speaker 3: problem because it's like, yeah, the dating world is tough.
- 27:22Speaker 5: People are dating lots of people.
- 27:24Speaker 3: Yeah, so why are you calling out like what you're
- 27:26Speaker 3: calling out your regular and also like.
- 27:27Speaker 8: Switch it up, like go to a different store.
- 27:30Speaker 6: Right, Well, maybe he likes he goes that much that
- 27:34Speaker 6: server recognizes.
- 27:36Speaker 4: Him and then recognizes that he's really.
- 27:38Speaker 9: A different girl, you know.
- 27:40Speaker 3: On the On the similar to that, there's a restaurant
- 27:42Speaker 3: that opened up in my house and I was going.
- 27:44Speaker 3: It was just my son, Jake and I and we
- 27:46Speaker 3: were going. Ever, we were like six days in a
- 27:48Speaker 3: row to one day. We walked in on day seven
- 27:51Speaker 3: and the woman in the back, she made eye contacted.
- 27:54Speaker 3: She went again, and then Jake looks at me. See that,
- 27:57Speaker 3: I go, Yeah, I saw go. We can't come back
- 27:59Speaker 3: for walk. Hi, Thanks Mario, thanks for calling it. Thank you, Carly,
- 28:12Speaker 3: good morning. How are you hey?
- 28:14Speaker 11: I'm good?
- 28:15Speaker 10: How are you?
- 28:16Speaker 3: Thanks for holding Yeah.
- 28:17Speaker 11: So the other night, I was hanging out with my
- 28:20Speaker 11: boyfriend and we came across an old picture of myself
- 28:24Speaker 11: from a few years ago, and I was like one
- 28:28Speaker 11: hundred and twenty pounds heavier back then. So I just
- 28:31Speaker 11: like jokingly asked him, like, be honest, if I still
- 28:36Speaker 11: look like this, would you have swipe right? And I
- 28:39Speaker 11: thought he'd laugh or say something really sweet, but instead,
- 28:44Speaker 11: without even hesitating, he looked me dead in the eyes
- 28:48Speaker 11: and said probably.
- 28:49Speaker 6: Not oh, wrong answer, but such a risky question to ask, right, right,
- 28:56Speaker 6: that's well what.
- 28:58Speaker 11: I just kind of sat there in shock because thank
- 29:02Speaker 11: you for the honesty, I guess.
- 29:05Speaker 12: And the more I thought.
- 29:07Speaker 11: Of it, the more it bothered me, like was he
- 29:11Speaker 11: in love with me or just the version of me
- 29:13Speaker 11: he found attractive? So I ended the relationship.
- 29:18Speaker 6: Oh yeah, he made a huge mistake.
- 29:23Speaker 4: He could have come back from it.
- 29:24Speaker 6: I think if he said something like no, honestly, I
- 29:28Speaker 6: wouldn't have honestly because I was shell then and now
- 29:31Speaker 6: I know your car and know what a beautiful person
- 29:32Speaker 6: you are inside and out, and then you could have
- 29:34Speaker 6: come back from it.
- 29:36Speaker 2: I probably not, but that would have been a huge mistake,
- 29:39Speaker 2: right something. I'm so glad I'm not that man any
- 29:42Speaker 2: just like, nah, that's right. So now what like, let's
- 29:48Speaker 2: say you've moved on to your next guy, are you
- 29:52Speaker 2: going to ask the same question?
- 29:54Speaker 11: Honestly? And sure? Like all my friends think I'm totally
- 29:58Speaker 11: crazy because other than that, it was a perfect relationship.
- 30:04Speaker 11: But I don't know, Like I'm thinking, like, was I
- 30:07Speaker 11: asking a question that I wasn't prepared to hear the
- 30:10Speaker 11: answer to, or did he accidentally tell me everything I
- 30:14Speaker 11: needed to know about him.
- 30:15Speaker 3: It's both of those things. So shame on him for
- 30:19Speaker 3: being honest.
- 30:20Speaker 8: I mean kinda like I've honestly about it.
- 30:23Speaker 6: You guys, honestly, when you swipe, it is based on
- 30:26Speaker 6: shallow things.
- 30:27Speaker 4: You know nothing about that person's depths. You know nothing
- 30:30Speaker 4: about that pound of morals.
- 30:31Speaker 5: I don't have a problem with what he said as
- 30:33Speaker 5: a matter of fact.
- 30:33Speaker 3: What I'm trying to understand is did he know that
- 30:36Speaker 3: you weighed one hundred and twenty pounds before?
- 30:39Speaker 2: No? He didn't.
- 30:41Speaker 5: Okay, so you lost one hundred twenty pounds.
- 30:44Speaker 3: I lost one hundred pounds, and I've got like loose
- 30:46Speaker 3: skin around me?
- 30:48Speaker 5: Do you have lots?
- 30:48Speaker 3: If you lost one hundred and twenty pounds, you probably
- 30:50Speaker 3: have a lot of loose skin.
- 30:53Speaker 13: Yeah, I get a bit.
- 30:55Speaker 5: Okay, So did he not?
- 30:56Speaker 3: Ever, if you're intimate with him, he's like, you know,
- 30:59Speaker 3: I feel like he would have known. He knows that
- 31:02Speaker 3: you were a larger person at one point. So I
- 31:05Speaker 3: feel like you breaking up with him like that. If
- 31:07Speaker 3: I was a psychiatrist, I feel that there's other levels
- 31:10Speaker 3: here because it doesn't make sense like he knew he
- 31:13Speaker 3: knew you were you were a bigger person, and he
- 31:15Speaker 3: loved you for who you are right now, and then
- 31:17Speaker 3: you got rid of him.
- 31:18Speaker 5: He got rid of him for answering you.
- 31:19Speaker 2: Honestly, in the context of the moment, he really messed
- 31:23Speaker 2: that up.
- 31:24Speaker 3: It just but also sounds like there's issues, like Carli,
- 31:27Speaker 3: you probably have some body DYSMORPHI you probably have some
- 31:29Speaker 3: issues inside, you know what I mean that, because that
- 31:32Speaker 3: doesn't he seems it seems like you let go of
- 31:34Speaker 3: a good guy.
- 31:35Speaker 11: I mean, I don't know, like I just wish he
- 31:38Speaker 11: responded differently, you know.
- 31:40Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, and John Jay, like to your the point
- 31:44Speaker 7: that you made about how like he would know, you
- 31:46Speaker 7: know what I mean, because like maybe lu skin or
- 31:48Speaker 7: something like that. There is a girl, Melanie on Love
- 31:51Speaker 7: Island and she made it into like the final four,
- 31:54Speaker 7: and when she came into the villa, it came up
- 31:56Speaker 7: that she actually was a plus size model, and nobody
- 31:59Speaker 7: everyone thought that the video, that these pictures and videos
- 32:01Speaker 7: were AI because we're like, there's no way because she
- 32:04Speaker 7: looked like she didn't have any of that loose skin
- 32:07Speaker 7: or anything like.
- 32:07Speaker 3: Well, you could be a plus size model and be
- 32:09Speaker 3: thirty pounds heavy but yeah, one hundred and twenty pounds.
- 32:12Speaker 3: One hundred and twenty pounds is pretty uh noticeable on
- 32:15Speaker 3: a person, you know what I mean. When you lose
- 32:17Speaker 3: one hundred pounds, it's and you have just this skin,
- 32:20Speaker 3: like if you have even if you have the surgery
- 32:22Speaker 3: to remove the skin, you can still tell.
- 32:24Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 32:24Speaker 3: I've been researching all this, by the way, because I
- 32:26Speaker 3: was gonna get get some skin removed. I literally was
- 32:28Speaker 3: gonna I'm let the border right, it looks my loose
- 32:31Speaker 3: skin is like eh, Like, if I was a single dude.
- 32:33Speaker 5: I'd probably get the loose skin removed.
- 32:35Speaker 3: But I'm not always with my shirt off all the
- 32:37Speaker 3: time anyway, although I would if I had my if
- 32:39Speaker 3: I had my skin removed, I'd be in the studio
- 32:41Speaker 3: with my shirt off all the time.
- 32:42Speaker 4: Oh my gosh.
- 32:44Speaker 3: Okay, But anyway, Carly, I feel like, you know, I'm
- 32:46Speaker 3: glad you shared that story with us. Well, I'm sure
- 32:49Speaker 3: lots of this is gonna hit a hot button for
- 32:50Speaker 3: a lot of people at any rate.
- 32:52Speaker 11: Yeah, thank you got it.
- 32:54Speaker 3: Well, thanks for listening.
- 32:55Speaker 5: So now you're single, Yeah.
- 32:57Speaker 7: So I'm hoping to find a better I'm ready to
- 33:01Speaker 7: mingle because like your feelings are valid, Carly, And honestly,
- 33:04Speaker 7: I would probably dump the guy too, because I want
- 33:06Speaker 7: someone that's going to respect me and think twice before
- 33:08Speaker 7: they say something.
- 33:11Speaker 3: How'd you lose all the weight?
- 33:12Speaker 5: Carly? What did you do to lose one hundred twenty pounds?
- 33:14Speaker 11: You know, I didn't use like any medications or anything
- 33:17Speaker 11: like that.
- 33:18Speaker 10: I lost it.
- 33:19Speaker 11: Naturally, just by changing my diet and how much I exercise.
- 33:23Speaker 2: That's hard work. Congratulations, good, Yeah, thank you, Thank you.
- 33:28Speaker 3: Je have a great day, thanks for calling in.
- 33:31Speaker 11: Thanks you too.
- 33:33Speaker 3: And my wife said the other day, just yesterday, she
- 33:34Speaker 3: saw her dad. It was her dad's birthday. He turned
- 33:37Speaker 3: eighty nine. Wow, And she hadn't seen him in a
- 33:40Speaker 3: you know, in a month or so. And you know,
- 33:42Speaker 3: she started the Trizeppetide right, which is the GLP two,
- 33:45Speaker 3: and she's down twelve pounds and it's pretty noticeable. It's interesting.
- 33:48Speaker 3: And her dad hugged her and said someone I wasn't there.
- 33:51Speaker 3: She just told me because my dad told me that
- 33:53Speaker 3: I had lost weight and I felt different, that I
- 33:55Speaker 3: felt skinny to him. And this is you know, he's
- 33:57Speaker 3: an old school guy. Like when I see him, he'll
- 33:59Speaker 3: be like, whoa ja Ja putting on some pounds. Huh.
- 34:02Speaker 3: Like he's one of those guys, you know, which is
- 34:04Speaker 3: really so to hear him say something positive about losing weight,
- 34:08Speaker 3: it's really obvious. So she's rocketed on that. My sister.
- 34:11Speaker 3: My sister's on the tryzeppatite too. I don't know how
- 34:13Speaker 3: much she's lost, but she's she's doing it all wrong.
- 34:16Speaker 6: Because wow, I remember she was doing like the accidental
- 34:21Speaker 6: ten thousand times.
- 34:22Speaker 17: What does be?
- 34:23Speaker 3: Yeah, So this morning she texted me. She goes, Okay,
- 34:25Speaker 3: I did my shot yesterday. She goes, I just noticed
- 34:28Speaker 3: that there's a lot of it's red. The fluid's red.
- 34:31Speaker 3: And I said, yeah, it is red. She goes, so
- 34:32Speaker 3: I must have filled the last one with too much air,
- 34:35Speaker 3: Like what the hell?
- 34:36Speaker 5: That's how they kill people.
- 34:37Speaker 3: Yeah, you gotta pushes the reds out so when you
- 34:42Speaker 3: see the fluid come out on the top of the needle,
- 34:43Speaker 3: then you know it's ready to go.
- 34:46Speaker 7: Making me not want to do it, and I've been
- 34:48Speaker 7: considering it, but I'm scared now because I don't want
- 34:51Speaker 7: to accidentally.
- 34:51Speaker 4: Like I'm scared for her.
- 34:53Speaker 8: Yeah that's what I'm saying.
- 34:54Speaker 3: Oh, that's her being frantic whether it be one hundred
- 34:56Speaker 3: thousand things.
- 34:57Speaker 5: The stuff is legit. I'm telling you this stuff is legit.
- 35:00Speaker 3: Man Like, we had the dinner last night and my
- 35:02Speaker 3: wife could barely finish half of salmon, half a little
- 35:04Speaker 3: thing of salmon, so I got to eat it all.
- 35:05Speaker 3: It was great anyway. That's it. Viral Wellness Viral wellness

- 35:32Speaker 3: Claudia's got a story about what we just talked about,
- 35:34Speaker 3: or what's up Claudia, good morning.
- 35:36Speaker 15: I was just listening to the previous story about the
- 35:39Speaker 15: girl who lost all the weight. I had the same story,
- 35:42Speaker 15: or I have I lost like over one hundred pounds.
- 35:45Speaker 15: I met my boyfriend or fiance online. I told him
- 35:49Speaker 15: by the way that I had lost a lot of weight.
- 35:51Speaker 15: It didn't bother him. Now, we kind of just joke
- 35:54Speaker 15: about my skin.
- 35:54Speaker 3: I was town.
- 35:55Speaker 15: I know that if you would have seen pictures of
- 35:57Speaker 15: me before, you wouldn't have asked me out, says it

- 36:10Speaker 3: is different because you stayed here.
- 36:12Speaker 15: Yeah, like I told them, and I was self conscious
- 36:14Speaker 15: about like my skin and stuff. And even though he
- 36:16Speaker 15: never said like, oh yeah, I wouldn't ask you out
- 36:19Speaker 15: or anything like that, Like, I make it more of
- 36:21Speaker 15: a joke because I know what I look like, and
- 36:24Speaker 15: I know what I look like now, so it really
- 36:26Speaker 15: doesn't bother me like that.
- 36:28Speaker 3: How'd you lose the weight?
- 36:30Speaker 15: I did change the way I ate. I did it.
- 36:33Speaker 15: I did a fast thing. Recently, I lost a little
- 36:35Speaker 15: bit more weight because I did do the REDDA. So
- 36:38Speaker 15: but just changing the way I eat. I work out
- 36:40Speaker 15: a lot. Before I never worked out. I was always
- 36:43Speaker 15: scared of the gym. But now for like the last
- 36:45Speaker 15: ten years, I constantly go to the gym and focus
- 36:49Speaker 15: on this building myself.
- 36:51Speaker 3: All right, Well, thanks thanks for sharing that with us,
- 36:54Speaker 3: Thanks for listening. Thank you have a great day. Seven

- 37:09Speaker 3: Maybe Savana.
- 37:20Speaker 5: Savanna?
- 37:23Speaker 16: Hello, Hey, good morning, good morning.
- 37:27Speaker 3: What are you doing right now on my way to work? Okay,
- 37:32Speaker 3: So I can't tell because I'm in the studio in
- 37:34Speaker 3: San Diego. And so I can't tell if you're on
- 37:37Speaker 3: speakerphone because I'm hearing an echo in my ears and
- 37:39Speaker 3: I thought we fixed that problem yesterday. So are you
- 37:42Speaker 3: on a Bluetooth or something?
- 37:46Speaker 18: No?
- 37:46Speaker 5: Okay, now you sound better?
- 37:47Speaker 3: You were you liar? You were?
- 37:51Speaker 2: No.
- 37:51Speaker 13: Actually I was on speaker in my hand. I didn't realize.
- 37:54Speaker 3: Well, that's what I'm talking about. I can tell. Okay,
- 37:56Speaker 3: let's play a game. What are we playing? Noise Machine?
- 37:59Speaker 9: Guys, We're playing Noise Machine today.
- 38:01Speaker 19: It's gonna be super fun because we're playing tech noises,
- 38:05Speaker 19: tech noise noises that you hear every single day, and
- 38:11Speaker 19: it's gonna be super fun. Like I said, We're gonna
- 38:14Speaker 19: start with John Jay.
- 38:22Speaker 5: I love this game. Is that a FaceTime?
- 38:25Speaker 9: That is a FaceTime?
- 38:26Speaker 14: Man?
- 38:27Speaker 19: They answered, too, good for you, John Jay. One point
- 38:29Speaker 19: for John Jay thus far in the game.
- 38:31Speaker 2: Rich, Oh that is somebody feverishly texting oh yeah, yeah,
- 38:40Speaker 2: you have to have your ringer on to hear that one.
- 38:42Speaker 5: But you got it right. Good job, Peyton.
- 38:48Speaker 8: Logging into your computer.
- 38:50Speaker 2: I think that's what it is.
- 38:52Speaker 9: Okay, anybody have a guess in the room because that
- 38:53Speaker 9: went wrong?
- 38:54Speaker 2: Is that if you have your Alexa hooked up to
- 38:56Speaker 2: your ring when something gets dropped off.
- 38:58Speaker 9: That's exactly what it is.
- 39:00Speaker 2: It's a delivery from Alexa, which a way in my
- 39:03Speaker 2: house happens so often because my beautiful wife Stacy doesn't
- 39:07Speaker 2: go anywhere. She only orders things on like I don't
- 39:10Speaker 2: have that.
- 39:11Speaker 5: I don't have it.
- 39:11Speaker 3: I don't even have an Alexa anymore. Our Alexa took off.
- 39:14Speaker 7: Yeah, if you got it hooked up to your ring
- 39:16Speaker 7: text certification that Amazon dropped off my package.
- 39:19Speaker 2: Which is kind of scary too, because you know how
- 39:21Speaker 2: Amazon drops off stuff. Sometimes at two or three in
- 39:23Speaker 2: the morning. You'll hear it go.
- 39:25Speaker 3: Like super so early that that's what my phone's on silent.
- 39:30Speaker 5: I don't want that noise.
- 39:31Speaker 19: One point for John Jay, one point for Rich Wait
- 39:34Speaker 19: for Peyton in round two to get on the board, Kyle.
- 39:41Speaker 4: That's really hard is that the.
- 39:43Speaker 2: Beginning of fifty cent in the club. Don't don't.
- 39:47Speaker 4: Okay, I want to say it's like a streaming Oh
- 39:52Speaker 4: my gosh, it's like Windows.
- 39:55Speaker 9: That's what I thought too, it is.
- 39:57Speaker 19: It is a Windows noise. It's when you get an
- 39:59Speaker 19: error on your computer, you get it wrong or something.
- 40:04Speaker 19: All right, nice, try Kyle half point because it's from Windows.
- 40:08Speaker 9: All right, Savanna, you ready, I.
- 40:11Speaker 2: Think so let's go.
- 40:16Speaker 12: Is that when you send an email?
- 40:19Speaker 9: That's right? Okay?
- 40:21Speaker 19: After one round, Savannah, John Jay, and Rich all tied
- 40:24Speaker 19: with one point, move on to a round two to
- 40:27Speaker 19: John Jay.
- 40:30Speaker 3: Oh my god, boy, this is such a great game
- 40:33Speaker 3: because every single one of these sounds sounds so familiar.
- 40:37Speaker 3: Can I hear it again? Sure? Is that? Uh?
- 40:43Speaker 5: Is that an I am?
- 40:44Speaker 3: An?
- 40:45Speaker 9: I am is?
- 40:45Speaker 10: Uh?
- 40:46Speaker 9: It's incorrect.
- 40:47Speaker 8: That sounds like a streaming service, like a like an Apple.
- 40:50Speaker 16: Are you able to steal ahead?
- 40:52Speaker 9: Savannah?
- 40:53Speaker 12: It's when the TikTok video ends.
- 40:56Speaker 9: Yeah, it's from the TikTok.
- 41:02Speaker 8: That was so tricky.
- 41:03Speaker 19: All right, sorry, John Jay. One point in the whole game.
- 41:08Speaker 19: We'll move on out of Rich.
- 41:10Speaker 2: Oh, that's when John Jay leaves his computer up during
- 41:15Speaker 2: the show. He's getting emails online.
- 41:17Speaker 9: Oh my god, it's a thousand.
- 41:21Speaker 3: Yeah, way to go.
- 41:22Speaker 2: I wasn't I wasn't checking email?
- 41:27Speaker 9: All right?
- 41:27Speaker 19: Rich with two points ties up Savannah, Peyton, it.
- 41:39Speaker 4: Looks so confused right now.
- 41:41Speaker 7: Okay, so that's obviously some sort of like ancient artifacts
- 41:46Speaker 7: nor ancient that is like definitely like your mom's fax
- 41:52Speaker 7: machine or something.
- 41:53Speaker 19: Is that a euphemism, No, it's not. It's not my
- 41:57Speaker 19: mom's fax machine. It's not a fact machine.
- 41:59Speaker 7: Is that a pager? When those things where you would
- 42:01Speaker 7: like dial or whatever.
- 42:02Speaker 19: Does the other millennial in the room when AOL dial up?
- 42:07Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 42:07Speaker 9: Dial of internet, that's what we're looking for.
- 42:09Speaker 8: Oh yeah, I never had to do you have to
- 42:11Speaker 8: wait to connect?
- 42:13Speaker 2: I just go straight onto the Wi Fi to wait
- 42:16Speaker 2: for people to get off the phone at your house
- 42:17Speaker 2: to connect.
- 42:19Speaker 19: All right, nice try, Peyton. I appreciate the effort. Move
- 42:23Speaker 19: on out, Kyle.
- 42:29Speaker 8: Okay.
- 42:29Speaker 4: And that is like when you open up your computer.
- 42:31Speaker 9: Yeah, that's when the windows opens.
- 42:33Speaker 19: Yeah, okay, a point and a half for Kyle. But
- 42:37Speaker 19: here's the deal. Savannah can win the game. She has
- 42:39Speaker 19: two points already, but she has to get this one right.
- 42:43Speaker 2: Oh no, all right, where to go?
- 42:50Speaker 9: Good job, Savannah?
- 42:52Speaker 3: Where it goes?
- 42:53Speaker 9: PA domination?
- 42:54Speaker 3: We're gonna set you up with kill tickets. Savannah, thanks
- 42:56Speaker 3: for listening.
- 42:57Speaker 12: Oh perfect, Thank you so much.
- 43:00Speaker 3: Guy will do it again tomorrow and in an hour
- 43:02Speaker 3: from now we got GYM Class Heroes. Thanks Savannah.
- 43:07Speaker 5: That was a great game. Nick, that was fun.
- 43:08Speaker 3: Oh you know what, Thank you. It was fun to
- 43:10Speaker 3: play with you guys. We like to have fun around.
- 43:15Speaker 3: So BuzzFeed did a story and this is really relatable
- 43:18Speaker 3: on things that everyone used to think were affordable but
- 43:22Speaker 3: now they feel like a luxury. So we put it
- 43:25Speaker 3: on Facebook. Eight seven seven nine three seven one four seven.
- 43:28Speaker 3: I'm gonna go over this list, but we want to
- 43:29Speaker 3: hear from you. What are things that used to be
- 43:32Speaker 3: affordable but are now like a luxury? And before I
- 43:35Speaker 3: I'll go over this list, but we'll say, hey to Brandy, Brandy,
- 43:38Speaker 3: what do you have? What What's what's a luxury now
- 43:41Speaker 3: that was affordable?
- 43:44Speaker 2: I said soda?
- 43:46Speaker 5: Yeah, soda.
- 43:47Speaker 4: I would say, like just groceries.
- 43:50Speaker 2: Yeah, well that's a big one.
- 43:53Speaker 3: Well it's funny because red meat is on the list
- 43:55Speaker 3: and it says the rest of the groceries are so
- 43:57Speaker 3: much money that people started cutting back on their protein too.
- 44:01Speaker 3: Thanks Brandy, Rocky, thank you. Roxy what's what's good morning?
- 44:07Speaker 3: What is a what's a what was affordable but now
- 44:09Speaker 3: it's a luxury.
- 44:11Speaker 18: But to me, it's getting your car wash full full service.
- 44:16Speaker 2: Wash, like the full Yeah, they used to be like
- 44:19Speaker 2: eight dollars, eight dollars.
- 44:22Speaker 11: Rich is just taking it through and running the water over.
- 44:26Speaker 3: You're right, that's why I don't watch my car. I
- 44:29Speaker 3: never watched my car, and it's just frightening to me.
- 44:31Speaker 5: I never watched my car.
- 44:34Speaker 20: Is so ridiculous.
- 44:37Speaker 5: That's a good one.
- 44:38Speaker 3: Roxy we'll put it on the list. Thank you, my sheelle,
- 44:45Speaker 3: good morning.
- 44:46Speaker 12: Guess that a nice like Locke four dollars and now
- 44:55Speaker 12: I'm like it's up like two more dollars, which makes
- 44:58Speaker 12: a difference if you're trying to drink it every day. Yeah,
- 45:01Speaker 12: And then I went and I even bought an espresso machine.
- 45:04Speaker 12: I was like, okay, so I'm calculating. I'm like, oh,
- 45:06Speaker 12: it'll be like a dollar a day. But now the
- 45:09Speaker 12: orders instead of being fifty dollars, they's seventy dollars for
- 45:13Speaker 12: the pods, Like yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, because you buy
- 45:17Speaker 12: the sleeves. So I'm like, oh, and I'm the one.
- 45:20Speaker 12: My husband's like, oh, buy him I'm like, I rerother
- 45:21Speaker 12: you get miss seventy dollars for something else though, I'm
- 45:24Speaker 12: on that instant coffee.
- 45:26Speaker 5: Hey, how much was the espresso machine?
- 45:30Speaker 12: I bought it at Costco for one eighty and I
- 45:33Speaker 12: bought it at Costco because if it ever breaks down,
- 45:36Speaker 12: you could return them. And they had mentioned that those
- 45:40Speaker 12: breakdown often, and I was so scared I even blessed
- 45:43Speaker 12: my machineer like, please don't break on me.
- 45:46Speaker 5: Did you get the man.
- 45:47Speaker 2: Expresso version or a different version of espresso?
- 45:50Speaker 12: Yes, he's an espressoe.
- 45:52Speaker 2: Like I have a really old one and the pods changed.
- 45:54Speaker 2: They like try to get you to buy the new machine,
- 45:57Speaker 2: so I have to go. I have to go somewhere
- 45:59Speaker 2: else to old pods because they're shaped totally different.
- 46:02Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 46:02Speaker 8: I have done espresso pods too, and you're right, they
- 46:04Speaker 8: are pricey. It's like ten bucks for twelve little espresso shots.
- 46:08Speaker 12: That's price Well when up they used to be ten bucks.
- 46:12Speaker 12: Now it's the thirteen, fourteen, even fifteen.
- 46:15Speaker 3: Well, you know, I go. So I'm new to the
- 46:18Speaker 3: coffee world and I've been shopping. I've been hitting Starbucks
- 46:22Speaker 3: here while I'm in San Diego. And I know because
- 46:25Speaker 3: I'm new. I don't remember the price is going up
- 46:28Speaker 3: because I'm still new to the price to the coffee world.
- 46:30Speaker 5: I got a coffee today with seven dollars or forty
- 46:32Speaker 5: five cents.
- 46:33Speaker 4: Yeah, selling a lot to.
- 46:35Speaker 7: Me, John Jay, You're in San Diego, like they have
- 46:37Speaker 7: some like really good coffee shops here. Why are you
- 46:39Speaker 7: just going to Starbucks because.
- 46:41Speaker 5: It's four am and the normal coffee.
- 46:44Speaker 2: Shops are over there open until the surfers are away.
- 46:48Speaker 3: Are up, heyd I do a radio morning show where
- 46:51Speaker 3: we get up really, really.
- 46:52Speaker 8: We get up really.
- 46:53Speaker 7: I'm just saying, like, I feel like you're going to
- 46:55Speaker 7: Starbucks when you could be going to some cool surfer shop.
- 46:57Speaker 5: Yeah, but I'm not going to.
- 46:58Speaker 12: Drink coffee trying to go local. And it's even worse.
- 47:03Speaker 12: A nice coffee shop here in Gilbert and it's seven
- 47:07Speaker 12: dollars for a nice small coffee small.
- 47:11Speaker 3: Ye. Yeah, it's funny. You say. I was walking. So
- 47:13Speaker 3: I'm in San Diego and yesterday I was trying to
- 47:14Speaker 3: I was walking. I wanted, I was feeling little under
- 47:17Speaker 3: the weather. So I want to get a vitamin drip
- 47:19Speaker 3: and I like google vitamin drip places and I find
- 47:21Speaker 3: this one place. So I go there to get a
- 47:23Speaker 3: vitamin drip. And I walk into a place and go, Hi,
- 47:25Speaker 3: I'm here to get the drip. They go, like, what
- 47:26Speaker 3: you give an appointment? I said, yeah, you might need
- 47:28Speaker 3: to go. No, we don't have you down. I talked
- 47:30Speaker 3: to somebody in text with somebody, Oh that's next door.
- 47:33Speaker 3: Like huh, So next door to an IV vitamin place
- 47:36Speaker 3: is another IV vitamin place. So I go in there.
- 47:39Speaker 3: Then I leave and I decide to walk down the
- 47:41Speaker 3: street and there's a coffee shop, then another coffee shop,
- 47:44Speaker 3: then another vitamin IV drip place. It's like it's a
- 47:47Speaker 3: street full of wellness and coffee. I would think that
- 47:50Speaker 3: there would be some sort of like noncompete typo.
- 47:54Speaker 2: It's crazy and the fact that they give away the
- 47:56Speaker 2: other like come on in, even though you have an
- 47:58Speaker 2: appointment next door, We'll get you in, sir. Our vitamin
- 48:01Speaker 2: drips better. But they didn't even do that, did they? No,
- 48:03Speaker 2: prop Michelle, thanks for calling in. Tyler Gotter, what's something
- 48:08Speaker 2: that they used to be affordable?
- 48:10Speaker 3: But he got I got a cup.
- 48:12Speaker 10: I'm thinking having kids for sure. And then beyond that,
- 48:15Speaker 10: also haircut like haircuts.
- 48:18Speaker 16: He used to be twenty bucks.
- 48:20Speaker 2: Now it's one hundred, one hundred.
- 48:22Speaker 3: Yeah, the hell kind of hair?
- 48:23Speaker 5: Do you got?
- 48:23Speaker 3: Fabio hair?
- 48:24Speaker 2: What? Yeah? Where are you going? And it's one hundred?
- 48:28Speaker 2: Well it's not the best places, I guess, but I mean, seriously,
- 48:31Speaker 2: it used to be like twenty bucks. Now you're forty
- 48:33Speaker 2: eighty bucks if you throw Beard Trimm in there.
- 48:35Speaker 4: Yeah, no, he's not wrong.
- 48:36Speaker 6: My brother was literally just talking about having to switch
- 48:38Speaker 6: barbers because he takes his two boys and himself and
- 48:41Speaker 6: he's like, it got so out of control.
- 48:43Speaker 4: It's like we can't go here anymore because it's so expensive.
- 48:46Speaker 3: Well, I recommend Scott Still barber Shop twenty five dollars
- 48:48Speaker 3: for a haircut, whereas my son Dutch goes to what's
- 48:53Speaker 3: it called super cuts for nine nine dollars. Yeah, all right,
- 48:57Speaker 3: thanks man. Brian hold on, Brian's got some mouse. Oh yeah,
- 49:01Speaker 3: well Brian, go ahead, you're on the air. Good goodrding.
- 49:05Speaker 3: I was trying to think of something that was cheap
- 49:08Speaker 3: and that was a luxury. Remember back when television was
- 49:10Speaker 3: free and now we pay prellly subscription.
- 49:11Speaker 5: That's hard, man, that's just I know, it's so.
- 49:14Speaker 3: Sick, so sick.
- 49:16Speaker 2: Speaking of subscriptions, I binge watched that lucky show you
- 49:19Speaker 2: watched or you mentioned, yeah, are you all caught up?
- 49:22Speaker 3: Yes?
- 49:23Speaker 2: And then we jumped off of that one and went
- 49:25Speaker 2: to maximum Pleasure Guarantee and that one was wild.
- 49:29Speaker 3: I finished that that show pissed me off. It's so
- 49:38Speaker 3: the last episode ends with a kind of a lame
- 49:40Speaker 3: cliffhanger for a season two and I don't think that
- 49:42Speaker 3: show deserves the season too. But thanks, thanks Pulling Dog.
- 49:46Speaker 3: Thanks so here here's some other things on this sevest.
- 49:49Speaker 3: Here's some things this list that were that used to
- 49:51Speaker 3: be affordable and now they are not.
- 49:53Speaker 5: Vet care.
- 49:54Speaker 3: It says it's way too expensive and pet insurance never
- 49:56Speaker 3: seems to cover it.
- 49:57Speaker 5: Vet care.
- 49:58Speaker 3: I also saw today that CB is starting to let
- 50:01Speaker 3: they got approval to to give your pet medicine.
- 50:04Speaker 2: Oh really, that's cool.
- 50:06Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 50:06Speaker 4: Interesting.
- 50:07Speaker 3: Yeah. By the way, speaking of pet care, you know,
- 50:10Speaker 3: my wife's launched that love Pup plus. Check it out
- 50:12Speaker 3: love puplus dot com and it's got all everything you
- 50:15Speaker 3: need to know about your dog.
- 50:16Speaker 2: Oh, that's in the story. Are you talking about the
- 50:17Speaker 2: website or the app?
- 50:18Speaker 3: Is ready?
- 50:19Speaker 5: The website, I don't know if the apps ready?
- 50:21Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, Larissa, Oh, yesterday because morning I was in shock.
- 50:30Speaker 18: Yesterday I went to Salad and Go, and I remember
- 50:35Speaker 18: going there specifically because those salads were so cheap. They
- 50:38Speaker 18: were like five bucks in a year's drive by there
- 50:41Speaker 18: before work pick up a salad. They went to six
- 50:44Speaker 18: dollars and seven dollars. I haven't been there in a while,
- 50:48Speaker 18: and yesterday was nine dollars and twenty five cents.
- 50:52Speaker 8: Shock.
- 50:52Speaker 2: Lots of fillery.
- 50:54Speaker 4: I liked shock and like a lemonade was like two dollars.
- 50:57Speaker 3: What salad did you get there? I used to get
- 50:58Speaker 3: the autun the autumn one. Was it's a great one in.
- 51:00Speaker 14: A wrap a buffalo.
- 51:04Speaker 3: Oh, that's a good one. Was there a line because
- 51:06Speaker 3: that place used to be lying around the door. Really
- 51:08Speaker 3: it's still a line.
- 51:12Speaker 18: Not anymore because it's it's nine dollars.
- 51:15Speaker 3: You know what happened here?
- 51:16Speaker 5: This is this is my opinion, no offense to Solid
- 51:18Speaker 5: and Go.
- 51:19Speaker 3: But from what I understand, the story with Solid goes
- 51:21Speaker 3: just a couple of teachers and Gilbert started it, and
- 51:23Speaker 3: then it took off right and they had the best
- 51:26Speaker 3: ingredients and they sold.
- 51:28Speaker 5: So now the company they sold it to started going.
- 51:30Speaker 3: Well, we're gonna save money and get these cheaper tomatoes,
- 51:32Speaker 3: we're gonna save money. Get this cheaper lettuce, we're gonna
- 51:35Speaker 3: save And so now it tastes different. And then that's
- 51:36Speaker 3: why they'reraising the price, because now people aren't like it
- 51:39Speaker 3: used to be. It's in my opinion, that's what my
- 51:41Speaker 3: own little mathematical opinion.
- 51:44Speaker 5: So all right, thanks Worriss. So also here's on this list.
- 51:48Speaker 3: It used to be used to be affordable now to
- 51:50Speaker 3: luxury concert tickets, concert tickets. That's why you need concert
- 51:54Speaker 3: tickets from us. We got free concert tickets every day.
- 51:57Speaker 3: We just gave away. Kill Anie. We've got gym classer
- 52:00Speaker 3: was coming up in forty five minutes. Babysitters, they say, babysitters.
- 52:03Speaker 3: I don't know what babysitters cost. Tell a lot, yeah, uh, sneakers,
- 52:07Speaker 3: tennis shoes, think about that for a second.
- 52:08Speaker 5: Tennis shoes, got crazy movie tickets.
- 52:12Speaker 2: Yep, that's for sure.
- 52:14Speaker 3: The cost of maintenance on your house. Good luck getting
- 52:16Speaker 3: anything fixed for a reasonable price.
- 52:18Speaker 4: I feel that.
- 52:20Speaker 5: Someone said in any house.
- 52:21Speaker 3: Someone said, in nineteen fifty five, my parents bought their
- 52:23Speaker 3: home for sixteen thousand dollars. My father made five thousand
- 52:26Speaker 3: dollars a year today that same household for one point
- 52:29Speaker 3: seven million. Wow, holy smokes, Tiffany, Good morning.
- 52:36Speaker 15: Dane.
- 52:37Speaker 13: What about gas?
- 52:39Speaker 16: Yeah, gasoleen is crazy.
- 52:42Speaker 13: I remember when I was younger, it was like ninety
- 52:45Speaker 13: nine cents a gallon.
- 52:47Speaker 2: I don't think that's coming out.
- 52:49Speaker 13: I know, I don't think it easier, but long shot.
- 52:52Speaker 13: But yeah, it feels like, oh no, we can't just
- 52:55Speaker 13: take a quick trip here because.
- 52:57Speaker 2: I's gonna say, I think just traveling anywhere because airplane
- 53:00Speaker 2: it's to me, or like astronomical two.
- 53:02Speaker 7: It's almost as if like everything's double, Like gas is double.
- 53:05Speaker 7: Oh it took me twenty five to fill in my
- 53:07Speaker 7: gas take now it's about fifty.
- 53:09Speaker 8: Yeah, all of right?
- 53:10Speaker 13: Or or what about cigarettes? I don't smoke, but I
- 53:13Speaker 13: remember back in the day my mom would smoke, and
- 53:15Speaker 13: well she still does. But packs of cigarettes are like
- 53:18Speaker 13: fifteen dollars.
- 53:19Speaker 4: Now that's crazy.
- 53:22Speaker 3: Well, here's the text that says what used to be
- 53:24Speaker 3: normal but as a luxury, anything in your vehicle that
- 53:26Speaker 3: isn't mandatory, a relaxing drive, taking a long route or
- 53:30Speaker 3: scenic drive, letting your car idle while waiting. All I
- 53:32Speaker 3: hear is gas money going out the window. Yeah, thanks,
- 53:37Speaker 3: for calling in rich. We're gonn play minute to win it.
- 53:42Speaker 3: We got to contest it. We got Mary on the line.
- 53:43Speaker 10: Hi, Mary, Hi, good morning.
- 53:46Speaker 3: What are you doing today? Were you headed.
- 53:50Speaker 21: In about a half an hour? I'm gonna take my
- 53:51Speaker 21: daughter to her theater camp.
- 53:54Speaker 3: Theater camp. That's cool.
- 53:56Speaker 2: Yeah, that's foe.
- 53:57Speaker 5: So right now you're just chilling in the house.
- 53:59Speaker 21: Yeah, just waiting.
- 54:00Speaker 5: How old your daughter?
- 54:02Speaker 10: She's fifteen?
- 54:03Speaker 3: So is she there on her laptop ready to google
- 54:06Speaker 3: things to help you win this thousand dollars? I wish.
- 54:10Speaker 21: No, she's actually, you know, getting perfecting the looks she's
- 54:13Speaker 21: in there getting, she's getting dressed.
- 54:15Speaker 5: Okay, So it's just you.
- 54:16Speaker 3: We're just you're you're going to play this game, just
- 54:19Speaker 3: stripped down raw, no help.
- 54:22Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, sounds smart. She's going to do great. You're
- 54:25Speaker 2: going to do great, Mary. Let's go, Mary, sixty seconds
- 54:28Speaker 2: on the clock. You get all ten questions, right, you
- 54:30Speaker 2: win one thousand dollars of Paticky's money. Here we go.
- 54:34Speaker 2: What is today's date?
- 54:38Speaker 21: Today's date is the uh stay July twenty second?
- 54:44Speaker 2: Spain just won the World Cup. What is Spain's capital city?
- 54:49Speaker 4: Oh?
- 54:49Speaker 21: Madrid?
- 54:51Speaker 2: What bird is the Universal symbol of peace dove. What fruit,
- 54:57Speaker 2: when dried, makes a prune a plump? What is the
- 55:02Speaker 2: name of the longest river on the continent of Africa
- 55:07Speaker 2: uh Anile? Hawaii sits on Which ocean Pacific? What organ
- 55:15Speaker 2: is responsible for pumping blood through the human body art?
- 55:19Speaker 2: What sport us as a puck coffee?
- 55:23Speaker 9: What is the hardest natural substance.
- 55:25Speaker 2: On Earth diamond? What is the only US state that
- 55:31Speaker 2: ends with the letter G.
- 55:35Speaker 17: That ends with the letter granning out of my chest?
- 55:53Speaker 8: I feel like I just ran a marathon.
- 55:54Speaker 2: I told you she was gonna do good.
- 55:58Speaker 3: And the worst.
- 55:59Speaker 21: I start going through state names and I just like,
- 56:01Speaker 21: start with the a's and I'm.
- 56:03Speaker 8: Like, I was going to ask you to take it
- 56:06Speaker 8: a long time.
- 56:07Speaker 2: Yeah, Payton answered that one. But would you have gotten there?
- 56:10Speaker 2: Do you think I.
- 56:10Speaker 21: Would have I would have gotten there. I would have
- 56:12Speaker 21: gotten there. I was, yeah, pretty good with the states,
- 56:15Speaker 21: and I was like, Okay, I'm like, if you'd ask
- 56:19Speaker 21: me the K, I don't remember the K, but okay.
- 56:22Speaker 5: I mean, man, you had me. I was out at
- 56:24Speaker 5: today's date.
- 56:26Speaker 2: I thought that was gonna be hard for people.
- 56:30Speaker 3: Wow, that was a great Hey Mary, good news though, Mary. Yeah,
- 56:35Speaker 3: you didn't win, but we are going to setch up
- 56:37Speaker 3: with a gift card to our favorite restaurant over easy.
- 56:41Speaker 21: Okay, one right by where I work, and I love that.
- 56:46Speaker 5: Oh they have the best food.
- 56:47Speaker 3: So hang on where We're going to definitely give you
- 56:49Speaker 3: a gift card to over easy restaurant that you can
- 56:50Speaker 3: get them to enjoy over easy over easy dot com
- 56:53Speaker 3: and find a restaurant near you.
- 56:55Speaker 5: So hold on to the line. Mary, what a great content.
- 56:56Speaker 2: If we ever had like a Hall of Fame game,
- 56:58Speaker 2: we got to get married back on cool, she was
- 57:01Speaker 2: under fire. I could tell the moment she was on
- 57:03Speaker 2: the phone. She was focused, she was ready to go.
- 57:06Speaker 2: Didn't need to look it up, just a smart person.
- 57:08Speaker 3: So I talked to my son Dutch yesterday. He said
- 57:10Speaker 3: he saw the Odyssey movie. He said, it's one of
- 57:13Speaker 3: if it's not the best movie he's ever seen in
- 57:15Speaker 3: his life, it's top two or three.
- 57:19Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 57:19Speaker 3: And then a guy I talked to yesterday said he
- 57:21Speaker 3: didn't like it, that he was woke, and I don't know.
- 57:23Speaker 3: I don't know how that movie woke, but I don't know.
- 57:26Speaker 3: So I was like, that's interesting. So I was gonna
- 57:28Speaker 3: kind of get into it. On the air day and
- 57:29Speaker 3: I thought, wait a minute, here's Peyton with more.
- 57:32Speaker 8: Yes, I love it. Yeah.
- 57:34Speaker 7: I also got to go see The Odyssey, and I
- 57:36Speaker 7: really enjoyed. The more I think about it, the more
- 57:37Speaker 7: I'm like, gosh, I was a great movie. But I
- 57:39Speaker 7: got to be honest, I really didn't know much about
- 57:42Speaker 7: The Odyssey, and I feel like it's one of those
- 57:43Speaker 7: movies where you kind of do have to have an
- 57:46Speaker 7: idea of what you're about to walk into or you're
- 57:49Speaker 7: probably gonna be a little bit lost. So I have
- 57:51Speaker 7: a breakdown of some of the things that you should
- 57:53Speaker 7: know before you go and see the Odyssey this weekend.
- 57:55Speaker 2: Excellent. Okay, I'm going to Saturday morning with my fam.
- 57:58Speaker 3: You know what too? Is my son Dutch. He saw
- 58:01Speaker 3: it just a normal feater, not even an imax, and
- 58:03Speaker 3: he loved it. Yeah yeah, but okay, go what do
- 58:06Speaker 3: we need to know?
- 58:06Speaker 8: Okay? So first, what is the Odyssey?
- 58:09Speaker 7: So the Odyssey is an epic poem written almost three
- 58:11Speaker 7: thousand years ago by the ancient Greek poet Homer. So
- 58:15Speaker 7: kind of think of Homer as like the Steven Spielberg
- 58:17Speaker 7: and the guy who wrote Game of Thrones of ancient Greece.
- 58:20Speaker 2: That's him boom.
- 58:21Speaker 7: So he wrote the Iliad, which is about the Trojan War,
- 58:24Speaker 7: but the Odyssey is what happens after the war. The
- 58:27Speaker 7: Odyssey is his journey. So Odysseus he is the guy
- 58:31Speaker 7: that is on the journey for.
- 58:33Speaker 2: The honest, that's Matt Damon.
- 58:34Speaker 7: He yeah, that is Matt Damon's character. He is the
- 58:37Speaker 7: king of Ithaca. He's famous because he's not the strongest warrior,
- 58:40Speaker 7: but he's the smartest. So he's the guy who always
- 58:42Speaker 7: has the plan. He comes up with the idea of
- 58:43Speaker 7: the Trojan Horse. So basically, if Achilles is Captain America,
- 58:47Speaker 7: Odysseus is iron Man.
- 58:49Speaker 2: Okay, oh gotcha, Okay.
- 58:51Speaker 7: So kind of the story, Odysseus he wins the Trojan War.
- 58:54Speaker 7: Now this is not a spoiler, this is just I
- 58:56Speaker 7: mean history. So he wants to go home to his
- 58:59Speaker 7: wife and his son. That's simple. But the gods are
- 59:02Speaker 7: mad at him. So what should have taken him only
- 59:04Speaker 7: a few weeks to go home, takes him ten years
- 59:08Speaker 7: to do all of this. So in those ten years,
- 59:10Speaker 7: he fights the cyclops sea monsters, which is sirens, angry gods, storms, shipwrecks,
- 59:15Speaker 7: all of those things, so every kind of like it's
- 59:18Speaker 7: like a new journey every chapter throughout this story. So
- 59:21Speaker 7: Greek mythology unlike modern movies, it's like the gods aren't
- 59:25Speaker 7: just watching, they're actively ruining people's lives. So kind of
- 59:27Speaker 7: think like if the Avengers were like emotionally unstable and
- 59:30Speaker 7: constantly beefing with humans. Heart God is like the comparison
- 59:34Speaker 7: of what's going on.
- 59:35Speaker 2: Okay, that's really good.
- 59:37Speaker 7: This is probably the biggest talking point in the most
- 59:39Speaker 7: consistent point of the movie The Odyssey, Zeus's Law. So
- 59:44Speaker 7: in the original Odyssey poem, they don't go around saying
- 59:46Speaker 7: Zeus's law. There's something called zena, which is basically means
- 59:49Speaker 7: sacred hospitality. So if someone shows up to your home,
- 59:52Speaker 7: you feed them, you protect them, you don't rob them,
- 59:54Speaker 7: you don't kill them, and you don't abuse your power
- 59:56Speaker 7: over them. If you're the guest, you respect the home,
- 59:59Speaker 7: you don't overstay, and you don't steal. So if you
- 1:00:02Speaker 7: break this, you're not only offending the other person, you
- 1:00:04Speaker 7: are offending Zeus.
- 1:00:06Speaker 5: Himself today too.
- 1:00:09Speaker 3: Absolutely don't kill them.
- 1:00:12Speaker 8: It is not literally Zeus's.
- 1:00:14Speaker 7: Law is this movie's morals compet Like it's like don't
- 1:00:17Speaker 7: be rude.
- 1:00:17Speaker 8: It just becomes like, how do you treat people when
- 1:00:20Speaker 8: you have power over them?
- 1:00:21Speaker 5: But they talk about this in the movie.
- 1:00:22Speaker 8: They don't talk about it. They just keep bringing up
- 1:00:24Speaker 8: Zeus's law.
- 1:00:25Speaker 7: So if you don't know what Zeus's law, you're kind
- 1:00:26Speaker 7: of like huh, but you end up figuring it out
- 1:00:29Speaker 7: as everyone's you know, continuing to talk about Zeus's lawn.
- 1:00:32Speaker 7: And Odysseus comes across all of these challenges, so you're
- 1:00:35Speaker 7: gonna meet Poseidon. Poseidon is the biggest one.
- 1:00:37Speaker 8: He is.
- 1:00:38Speaker 7: He hates Odysseus because Odysseus blinds Poseidon's son, which is
- 1:00:42Speaker 7: the Cyclops.
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: Oh okay, yes, and his daughter Mermaid of course.
- 1:00:47Speaker 8: Yes, No, that's King Triton.
- 1:00:49Speaker 7: So Poseidon or Poseidon, he spent ten years making sure
- 1:00:53Speaker 7: that Odysseus can't go home. So literally, imagine if the
- 1:00:56Speaker 7: ocean literally hated your guts. That's that's them. So you
- 1:00:59Speaker 7: have this side Clopsy's the one eye giant. You have
- 1:01:01Speaker 7: a scene with the Cyclops. To me personally, probably one
- 1:01:04Speaker 7: of the most haunting sounds I've ever heard from a
- 1:01:06Speaker 7: non horror movie.
- 1:01:07Speaker 5: That's what Dutch said too.
- 1:01:08Speaker 7: Yes, it is like it is in haunting is truly
- 1:01:11Speaker 7: the only word that I can use to describe that.
- 1:01:14Speaker 7: You're also gonna meet Circe. Circe, she's like a really
- 1:01:16Speaker 7: cool character. She's a sorceress, but she's not a witch.
- 1:01:19Speaker 7: She also kind of has one of those scenes where
- 1:01:21Speaker 7: it's giving horror movie but it's not a horror movie.
- 1:01:23Speaker 7: That one was absolutely wild. You're also gonna run into
- 1:01:25Speaker 7: a scene with the sirens. So sirens are one of
- 1:01:28Speaker 7: the most misunderstood mythical creatures. People think that they're mermaids,
- 1:01:31Speaker 7: but they're not. They're mythical beings who's singing is so
- 1:01:34Speaker 7: beautiful and captivating that sailors literally steer their ships towards
- 1:01:38Speaker 7: the sound and it leads them to the.
- 1:01:40Speaker 8: Rocks to their death.
- 1:01:41Speaker 7: Oh so this is basically like mythology's version of catfishing.
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: Got it, man, That's cool. Yeah, and I'm excited to
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: see it.
- 1:01:48Speaker 7: Now you have the Beard. The Beard is played by
- 1:01:50Speaker 7: Travis Scott. Now we were talking about this yesterday. I
- 1:01:52Speaker 7: felt like seeing Travis Scott kind of took me out
- 1:01:55Speaker 7: of the movie a little bit, because I know he's
- 1:01:57Speaker 7: just such a famous rapper. When I kind of saw
- 1:01:59Speaker 7: some breakdown online of this. I was like, actually, Christopher
- 1:02:02Speaker 7: Nolan is a genius for having Travis Scott play the bird.
- 1:02:06Speaker 7: Because a baird is an ancient storyteller, so before books,
- 1:02:09Speaker 7: people they memorize these stories and perform them out loud.
- 1:02:13Speaker 7: So imagine someone combining like a rapper, a singer, a
- 1:02:16Speaker 7: spoken word artist in a historian. That's a baird. So
- 1:02:19Speaker 7: using a rapper who literally uses his words as a storyline.
- 1:02:23Speaker 7: I literally have goosebumps right now, Like that is so dope.
- 1:02:27Speaker 7: Then you have Penelope that's played by Anne Hathaway. She
- 1:02:29Speaker 7: is Odysseus's wife, so she's kind of she is the premise, right,
- 1:02:33Speaker 7: she has all of these suitors who.
- 1:02:34Speaker 8: Want to come for her.
- 1:02:35Speaker 7: Then you have Till Machis who plays Tom Holland that's
- 1:02:38Speaker 7: Odysseus's son, Penelope's son, and he's trying to fight off
- 1:02:41Speaker 7: of these all.
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: Of these suitors, the people that want to come take
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: the people don't want to.
- 1:02:45Speaker 7: Come and take his place, right, but everybody thinks Odysseus
- 1:02:48Speaker 7: is dead. So Penelope, she's kind of like she's like
- 1:02:52Speaker 7: taken her time when it's coming to picking one of
- 1:02:54Speaker 7: these suitors. Athena she's played by Zendeia. She is team Odysseus,
- 1:02:59Speaker 7: she constantly helps him, and she is the goddess of wisdom,
- 1:03:02Speaker 7: so it makes sense that she's favoring.
- 1:03:03Speaker 8: The clever hero.
- 1:03:05Speaker 7: The reason that everyone is so obsessed with this story
- 1:03:08Speaker 7: is because without the Odyssey, we probably wouldn't get Lord
- 1:03:11Speaker 7: of the Rings, right, Pirates of the Caribbean, Harry Potter,
- 1:03:15Speaker 7: Star Wars, anything like that.
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: So basically, three thousand years old they were writing sci
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: five years a fantasy.
- 1:03:21Speaker 7: Then the symbolism of this movie, it's about temptation with
- 1:03:24Speaker 7: the Sirens, pride with the Cyclops, patients with Penelope, perseverance,
- 1:03:29Speaker 7: perseverance with Odysseus, and then finding your way home after
- 1:03:32Speaker 7: you've changed.
- 1:03:34Speaker 5: That's pretty cool.
- 1:03:36Speaker 3: The only problem is that for me is that it's
- 1:03:37Speaker 3: a three hour movie, but it just doesn't.
- 1:03:39Speaker 8: Feel that way.
- 1:03:40Speaker 7: John Ja, I'm telling you, it's one of those movies
- 1:03:41Speaker 7: that's so action packed that.
- 1:03:43Speaker 8: You're like, what though.
- 1:03:45Speaker 5: Here's what's weird for me is like this happened with Bridgerton.
- 1:03:49Speaker 3: Is when you're gonna get on social media and then
- 1:03:50Speaker 3: you see the cast taking selfies with each other. Yeah,
- 1:03:54Speaker 3: like wait a minute, oh is Travis Scott taking his
- 1:03:58Speaker 3: selfie out a boat. Yeah, wait a minute, the bridget
- 1:04:02Speaker 3: and when Bridgerton cast is doing tiktoks and there in
- 1:04:04Speaker 3: the uniform, I was like, what, I didn't have that
- 1:04:06Speaker 3: back then.
- 1:04:06Speaker 7: I think that's the best part though, because that just
- 1:04:08Speaker 7: tells you that their story telling, their acting and their
- 1:04:11Speaker 7: performance really brought you to that time that you don't need,
- 1:04:14Speaker 7: like you forget that these are like normal people that
- 1:04:18Speaker 7: you might.
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: Run into the gray and you know, like they didn't
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: do it like hardly any cg I at all. It's
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: like all prepice. So they built a trojan horse.
- 1:04:25Speaker 5: Yes, I thought it was a true story.
- 1:04:29Speaker 8: In what you thought that the Odyssey was a true story.
- 1:04:31Speaker 3: That does true story and stuff like to tell you kept
- 1:04:33Speaker 3: hearing about this psychlop stuff and I was like that.
- 1:04:34Speaker 8: Think it was just it's a one.
- 1:04:37Speaker 3: I feel like.
- 1:04:38Speaker 5: Snoop Dogg and Game of Thrones.
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: It's good to learn about history, your history.
- 1:04:44Speaker 3: We got to take a nice job Peyton. That was
- 1:04:46Speaker 3: Peyton with more.
- 1:04:47Speaker 5: That was great.
- 1:04:47Speaker 3: That was our first Peyton with more segment and that
- 1:04:50Speaker 3: was great. We got tickets to Gym Class Heroes on
- 1:04:53Speaker 3: the line about twenty minutes from now, we're gonna get
- 1:04:55Speaker 3: some entertainment news. Colin Payton breaking all the stuff down.
- 1:04:58Speaker 3: That's training entertainment news.
- 1:04:59Speaker 5: That is a wake up.
- 1:05:04Speaker 8: Jud Jay and Rich wake you lap.
- 1:05:05Speaker 3: So I'm in the studio in San Diego and there's
- 1:05:07Speaker 3: a TV on in here and they're just showing the news,
- 1:05:10Speaker 3: and I was just curious, what's the temperature? What's the
- 1:05:11Speaker 3: weather in Phoenix today?
- 1:05:14Speaker 7: I don't think we're on the hundreds yet. No, Yeah,
- 1:05:16Speaker 7: our highs one hundred and three are low's eighty three.
- 1:05:19Speaker 5: Here, it says sonny and seventy two.
- 1:05:21Speaker 8: Oh it's hotter. Oh yeah, well it's eighty three here
- 1:05:24Speaker 8: right now.
- 1:05:24Speaker 3: But it's sunny and seventy two here. Isn't that crazy?
- 1:05:28Speaker 8: Yeah, that's nice.
- 1:05:29Speaker 4: That's pretty opical weather for where you are, right, I know,
- 1:05:32Speaker 4: rub it in.
- 1:05:33Speaker 3: What's going on when we got in entertainment news?
- 1:05:36Speaker 6: Okay, so everyone still wants to know any little tidbit
- 1:05:39Speaker 6: about the Taylor Swift Travis Kelsey wedding.
- 1:05:42Speaker 4: And now we're getting something straight from almost the source.
- 1:05:45Speaker 6: The source's brother, Jason Kelsey, was on the Ross Tucker
- 1:05:47Speaker 6: Football podcast, and he did confirm that Travis and Taylor
- 1:05:51Speaker 6: did do a duet at the wedding. So the host,
- 1:05:54Speaker 6: Ross Tucker, was like, you know, my cousin asked me
- 1:05:57Speaker 6: if it was true that they did a duet, and
- 1:05:58Speaker 6: I said yes, and he was so impressed that Travis
- 1:06:02Speaker 6: could sing so well.
- 1:06:04Speaker 3: Like, if I didn't know different, I would have thought
- 1:06:06Speaker 3: that that's what he does. He's a good singer. Yeah,
- 1:06:09Speaker 3: trampedon singing. Trafton has always been able to carry a
- 1:06:11Speaker 3: tone obviously pale to comparison to some of the other
- 1:06:14Speaker 3: people singing that night, but he did. Okay, you know,
- 1:06:17Speaker 3: I think the only thing, you know, the Tuckers definitely
- 1:06:19Speaker 3: have us beaten beer pong. I know that we give
- 1:06:21Speaker 3: sing all right, trad is very good. But yeah, yeah.
- 1:06:24Speaker 6: So that's one confirmed detail from the wedding from someone
- 1:06:28Speaker 6: who was absolutely there, and that's kind of all we
- 1:06:30Speaker 6: got for now.
- 1:06:31Speaker 7: Rihanna and asab Rocki just proved once again where they're
- 1:06:34Speaker 7: the why they are the ultimate couple goals. So Rihanna,
- 1:06:37Speaker 7: she officially recruited a sab Rocki two star in the
- 1:06:40Speaker 7: latest stenty skin campaign. So basically, asab Rocky, he walks
- 1:06:43Speaker 7: into a beauty salon. He opens up this oversized trench
- 1:06:46Speaker 7: coat filled with products and starts pitching Fenty's SPF moisturizer.
- 1:06:51Speaker 8: Directly to Rhiann and Rihanna.
- 1:06:52Speaker 7: He basically is like, don't be dumb, you have to
- 1:06:54Speaker 7: use SPF, which was a nod to his album Don't
- 1:06:57Speaker 7: Be Dumb.
- 1:06:58Speaker 8: And their chemistry, like you can just feel it.
- 1:07:01Speaker 4: I know I love them me too.
- 1:07:03Speaker 8: I'm obsessed with them. I want them to keep having babies.
- 1:07:05Speaker 3: I know.
- 1:07:08Speaker 8: They're doing a great job.
- 1:07:09Speaker 7: Jimmy Donaldson, also known as Mister Beast, he tied the
- 1:07:13Speaker 7: knot with his longtime girlfriend in an ultra luxurious, like
- 1:07:17Speaker 7: week long celebration on some private islands. So it was
- 1:07:20Speaker 7: a seventies yeah, and basically it featured everything from like
- 1:07:24Speaker 7: kite surfing to snorkeling with flamingos, to their ceremony where
- 1:07:28Speaker 7: they exchanged vows and mister Beast, who was really cute
- 1:07:31Speaker 7: you shared the news on Instagram yesterday and his caption
- 1:07:34Speaker 7: just was like I found missus Beast and it was
- 1:07:35Speaker 7: the happiest day of my life.
- 1:07:37Speaker 8: I was like, they're so cute.
- 1:07:39Speaker 6: I know I'd be interested to hear from your sister
- 1:07:40Speaker 6: John Jy, because I know she works for mister beast
- 1:07:42Speaker 6: like how they are as a couple, you know, in
- 1:07:45Speaker 6: real life.
- 1:07:46Speaker 3: Right she has nothing but great things to say about
- 1:07:49Speaker 3: him and her That's awesome.
- 1:07:50Speaker 5: I talked to this morning.
- 1:07:51Speaker 3: I was like, give me some inside scoop what he got,
- 1:07:53Speaker 3: And She's like, first of all, she sent me some
- 1:07:54Speaker 3: videos yesterday and I was like, and they were awesome.
- 1:07:58Speaker 5: She goes, do not post and do not tell anybody
- 1:08:00Speaker 5: until I tell you.
- 1:08:01Speaker 3: I'm like, oh so I.
- 1:08:03Speaker 5: Can't wait to tell you that.
- 1:08:05Speaker 8: Okay, well we will wait.
- 1:08:07Speaker 4: We will wait in great anticipation.
- 1:08:08Speaker 6: In the meantime, Cardi b she doesn't have great things
- 1:08:11Speaker 6: to say about the tabloids right now. She feels like
- 1:08:13Speaker 6: her personal life is under so much scrutiny, so much.
- 1:08:16Speaker 20: That she feels like I'm really hip hop's Britney spears like,
- 1:08:20Speaker 20: I'm thought you're feeling like Britney because let me tell
- 1:08:22Speaker 20: you something, right, you know, I've got all the tea
- 1:08:24Speaker 20: on these celebrities, like I know who it was, doing
- 1:08:27Speaker 20: what and all it.
- 1:08:28Speaker 8: But guess what nobody reports about it? You want know why?
- 1:08:31Speaker 8: Because nobody gives up when it comes to me. I
- 1:08:34Speaker 8: can't even you know, like.
- 1:08:36Speaker 4: This is crazy.
- 1:08:40Speaker 2: I don't know what she's saying, but she's totally wrong.
- 1:08:42Speaker 6: And she also posted on acts just know I understand
- 1:08:45Speaker 6: Britney Spears.
- 1:08:46Speaker 8: I love that comparison personally. I think they're hilarious. They
- 1:08:50Speaker 8: do channel each other every now and then.
- 1:08:52Speaker 6: Yeah, you know, they both have five Billboard Hot one
- 1:08:54Speaker 6: hundred number one hits, so they do have similarities there
- 1:08:57Speaker 6: in the music world too. Lil Wayne was on Betty
- 1:08:59Speaker 6: blanc podcast opened up about having his first kid at
- 1:09:02Speaker 6: just fourteen years old, and Betty was like, was that scary?
- 1:09:04Speaker 4: Were you nervous?
- 1:09:06Speaker 3: And low?
- 1:09:06Speaker 6: Wayne basically just said no because it was all kind
- 1:09:09Speaker 6: of planned out because of his mom.
- 1:09:11Speaker 22: Well, yeah, my dad that just got murdered that year,
- 1:09:15Speaker 22: the same year all that I blew up, my gosh.
- 1:09:17Speaker 22: So I went on to it.
- 1:09:19Speaker 3: I thought he was on the road for like six months. Yeah. Serious.
- 1:09:22Speaker 22: When I came home, she was like, is this is
- 1:09:24Speaker 22: what you're about to be doing?
- 1:09:25Speaker 3: Like you were gone for too long. She's like, I'm lonely.
- 1:09:28Speaker 22: She's like, gow my husband's gone, and so I She's like, listen,
- 1:09:31Speaker 22: let's have it.
- 1:09:31Speaker 3: Was sit down me, you and tell ya, and.
- 1:09:34Speaker 6: His mom literally said, I need you guys to have
- 1:09:36Speaker 6: a baby because I'm lonely and I want that baby.
- 1:09:38Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, why did the host of this podcast
- 1:09:41Speaker 3: give him some water?
- 1:09:42Speaker 8: That's how he talks.
- 1:09:44Speaker 5: I know, he's always thirsty.
- 1:09:45Speaker 8: A lot of smoke in elation.
- 1:09:50Speaker 7: At Finana at Fanatics Fest over the weekend. So Ryan
- 1:09:54Speaker 7: Reynolds he officially confirmed that the fourth Deadpool movie is
- 1:09:57Speaker 7: officially in the work, so he teased that he wants
- 1:09:59Speaker 7: to tap into deep cut storylines from the original Marvel comics.
- 1:10:03Speaker 7: He also hinted that he might kind of take a
- 1:10:04Speaker 7: back seat into more of like an ensemble kind of
- 1:10:07Speaker 7: thing and like have like a supporting role to bring in.
- 1:10:10Speaker 8: More X Men characters.
- 1:10:12Speaker 5: Is it a fourth or a third?
- 1:10:13Speaker 8: It's a fourth, there's fourth. You have the dad Pool
- 1:10:16Speaker 8: and Wolverine. You have dead Pool onund oh yeah, that's right, Wolverine,
- 1:10:20Speaker 8: and then you.
- 1:10:20Speaker 7: Have three or now you have four. But I am
- 1:10:22Speaker 7: curious to see how this movie performs, because I think
- 1:10:26Speaker 7: this is gonna be like the first movie from like
- 1:10:28Speaker 7: the Ryan Reynolds like clively.
- 1:10:30Speaker 6: I know, that's the first thing I thought about when
- 1:10:32Speaker 6: it was like fully announced. I'm like, I wonder if
- 1:10:33Speaker 6: this one will do as well because the public perception
- 1:10:36Speaker 6: of Ryan Reynolds isn't what it was, and I'm pretty.
- 1:10:38Speaker 3: Sure that's probably why he said he's gonna take a
- 1:10:39Speaker 3: back seat. Yeah, I'm gonna bring more people.
- 1:10:41Speaker 2: Yeah, you don't have to just watch.
- 1:10:43Speaker 7: Me because Deaduel Wolverine. I think like brought in like
- 1:10:45Speaker 7: a billion dollars. I might be wrong, but I think
- 1:10:49Speaker 7: that is facts, So it makes sense to come back.
- 1:10:52Speaker 2: I think, but these are facts.
- 1:10:55Speaker 3: Jim Class Heroes come in Arizona Financial Theater with Bop

- 1:14:08Speaker 8: No, if Fried Cookie came in with it.
- 1:14:12Speaker 7: But I'm not giving you a point because you need
- 1:14:14Speaker 7: to know SpongeBob better. Okay, Hi, what is Elwood's dog's name, Bruiser?
- 1:14:22Speaker 7: Bruiser is correct, taking a commanding lead with four points,
- 1:14:26Speaker 7: right now, Katie, Yes, what kind of fish is Nemo?

- 1:14:37Speaker 7: But with that gives you two points, And now you
- 1:14:41Speaker 7: are tied up with Kyle. A name is your buzzer?
- 1:14:50Speaker 8: Katie? And Kyle? What is the name of Regina George?
- 1:15:00Speaker 14: His mom?
- 1:15:06Speaker 8: Name is your buzzer, Katie? Incorrect?
- 1:15:12Speaker 4: She's calling her name.
- 1:15:16Speaker 2: I think you want to take points away from yourself.
- 1:15:22Speaker 7: Katie, buzzy girl. What is the name of Regina George's mom?
- 1:15:28Speaker 8: June incorrect?
- 1:15:31Speaker 4: I don't know her name is. She's not a regular mom,
- 1:15:33Speaker 4: she's a cool.
- 1:15:34Speaker 13: Mom's looking for the actress.
- 1:15:37Speaker 8: She's yes, looking for the actress.
- 1:15:41Speaker 4: Oh, I thought you're looking for the Amie for car
- 1:15:45Speaker 4: So you're looking for the character Katie is my what?
- 1:15:50Speaker 2: No, she's like, name is your buzzer Katie? No, I'm
- 1:15:53Speaker 2: sorry that's incorrect.
- 1:15:54Speaker 4: No, okay, but.
- 1:15:56Speaker 7: Because you have Katie Herron and so I was kind
- 1:15:59Speaker 7: of like, no, but Katie, Katie.
- 1:16:01Speaker 8: That's your name.
- 1:16:02Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 1:16:03Speaker 2: If you are right, good job.
- 1:16:04Speaker 6: If you were, like, we're all confused, right there, Katie,
- 1:16:07Speaker 6: you deserve these tickets.
- 1:16:10Speaker 2: You should really never come after me before again. Peyton.
- 1:16:14Speaker 8: It's like an airhead moment.
- 1:16:16Speaker 2: Win it.
- 1:16:17Speaker 8: Moments are like you got it.
- 1:16:18Speaker 3: Maybe we need to do Peyton with less.
- 1:16:22Speaker 8: Yeah, I think I did just lose a brain cell.
- 1:16:25Speaker 3: All right, Katie, You're gonna go see Gym class heroes.
- 1:16:27Speaker 12: Congratulations, Awesome, Thank you guys.
- 1:16:30Speaker 3: John Rich in the morning, Charlady got for three things
- 1:16:32Speaker 3: we need to know today.
- 1:16:33Speaker 6: You guys, the first major AI copyright lawsuit has officially
- 1:16:37Speaker 6: ended with a historic one point five billion dollars settlement.
- 1:16:42Speaker 6: So the AI company Anthropic, is gonna have to pay
- 1:16:45Speaker 6: authors about three thousand dollars per book after admitting, yeah,
- 1:16:50Speaker 6: we used pirate copies of the books to train Claude.
- 1:16:55Speaker 2: So that's amazing.
- 1:16:57Speaker 6: So now we are like they're saying that this lawsuit
- 1:17:00Speaker 6: could become historic and also the sense that it could
- 1:17:03Speaker 6: be the basis of a dozen other AI lawsuits that
- 1:17:06Speaker 6: are working their way through courts.
- 1:17:07Speaker 2: It makes sense too. And Nanthropic and all those companies
- 1:17:09Speaker 2: have made so much money, you figure the courts are
- 1:17:13Speaker 2: going to favor, you know, for the people that are
- 1:17:15Speaker 2: suing them. Yeah, so they're gonna have to pay. I'm sure.
- 1:17:17Speaker 3: Also saw this thing, and this AI stuff is crazy.
- 1:17:19Speaker 3: I saw like Pixar, you know, they had the toy
- 1:17:21Speaker 3: Story five that made almost a billion dollars, and Pixars
- 1:17:24Speaker 3: like laid off like hundreds of people and it's because
- 1:17:27Speaker 3: AI is replacing them.
- 1:17:28Speaker 8: I know.
- 1:17:29Speaker 4: It's really sad.
- 1:17:30Speaker 6: Yeah, it's it's pretty crazy what AI is doing in
- 1:17:34Speaker 6: the business world right now. Now when it comes to court,
- 1:17:37Speaker 6: it's been a big couple days in court. Today is
- 1:17:40Speaker 6: the second day of the preliminary hearing of David. He
- 1:17:42Speaker 6: is the singer that is accused of murdering fourteen year
- 1:17:46Speaker 6: old Celeste Revs Hernandez. If you guys remember, this was
- 1:17:50Speaker 6: the body they found in that tesla that was abandoned
- 1:17:53Speaker 6: at the tow truck place in Hollywood. Now, what they're
- 1:17:56Speaker 6: doing in court is just the preliminary hearing. So this
- 1:18:00Speaker 6: is just lawyers David and like a select amount of
- 1:18:05Speaker 6: people that are there, and this is where the judge
- 1:18:08Speaker 6: basically tries to figure out if they're going to have
- 1:18:10Speaker 6: an actual trial. So they are presenting evidence. They showed
- 1:18:14Speaker 6: bodycam footage, graphic crime scene photos. They heard testimony from
- 1:18:18Speaker 6: detectives who described finding Celeste's remains in the front of
- 1:18:22Speaker 6: David's tesla in that Hollywood yard.
- 1:18:24Speaker 4: And the hearing will continue this week.
- 1:18:27Speaker 6: Like I said, the judge will decide whether prosecutors have
- 1:18:30Speaker 6: enough evidence for the case to actually move forward.
- 1:18:32Speaker 19: Yeah.
- 1:18:32Speaker 7: I mean, this whole thing is so insane to me
- 1:18:35Speaker 7: because he just like wrote like he just like was
- 1:18:39Speaker 7: continuing to perform and do all of these things, and
- 1:18:43Speaker 7: I don't know, I feel like he would be ridiculous
- 1:18:46Speaker 7: to not just I don't think it'll go to trial.
- 1:18:48Speaker 8: I think he's going to plead guilty.
- 1:18:49Speaker 3: He should.
- 1:18:50Speaker 8: I mean, the evidence is there. He was caught red handed.
- 1:18:53Speaker 6: Okay, so from what I'm hearing, he has shown zero
- 1:18:57Speaker 6: remorse exactly, showing zero is associate.
- 1:19:00Speaker 4: He's going for not guilty.
- 1:19:02Speaker 6: So yeah, And the prosecutors were already trying to like
- 1:19:05Speaker 6: discredit the two witnesses that were on the stand already
- 1:19:08Speaker 6: that was very ridiculous.
- 1:19:09Speaker 8: Like what that girl went through, what her family is going.
- 1:19:12Speaker 6: Through, like, and her family was there and they say
- 1:19:15Speaker 6: that this was the first time that the family saw.
- 1:19:18Speaker 6: Those graphic detales were cru gruesome. Yeah, so I think
- 1:19:25Speaker 6: I kind of think it may end up going You
- 1:19:28Speaker 6: have a lot of evidence, like they were talking about
- 1:19:30Speaker 6: the evidence that they have from the actual tesla that
- 1:19:33Speaker 6: showed exactly where he was when he was like driving
- 1:19:36Speaker 6: around doing errands with her.
- 1:19:38Speaker 8: I mean, it's like it's trippying.
- 1:19:39Speaker 7: I feel like there wasn't there like a lawsuit or
- 1:19:42Speaker 7: something like that. It was like Little Dirk or some
- 1:19:45Speaker 7: some of these rappers where they rap about what could
- 1:19:48Speaker 7: be considered like possible crimes that maybe they committed people
- 1:19:51Speaker 7: that they were around, and they literally like are trying
- 1:19:54Speaker 7: to like pass a law where people can't prosecute because
- 1:19:57Speaker 7: of the lyrics and their songs. And David seeing about like,
- 1:20:01Speaker 7: oh my gosh.
- 1:20:01Speaker 4: She has a music video.
- 1:20:03Speaker 6: It's like, yeah, it's really disturbing, and I feel like
- 1:20:06Speaker 6: this is going to be one of those like trials
- 1:20:08Speaker 6: that is it's huge, Like people are watching this.
- 1:20:10Speaker 4: One really closely. In the meantime, Lego is bringing back
- 1:20:14Speaker 4: the X Files.
- 1:20:15Speaker 6: They're bringing The X Files back to life with a
- 1:20:17Speaker 6: brand new over fourteen hundred piece set celebrating the sci
- 1:20:21Speaker 6: fi series Jillian Anderson. She returned as Dana Scully to
- 1:20:25Speaker 6: help launch it in a fun new ad where she's
- 1:20:26Speaker 6: like unboxing them.
- 1:20:29Speaker 3: You've gotta be kidding me.
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: Multiple components, interlocking system, I don't remember you being so small.
- 1:20:40Speaker 2: Nice to be my favorite show of all time.
- 1:20:42Speaker 3: I love that show.
- 1:20:43Speaker 6: The set goes on sale August fourth. It's going to
- 1:20:45Speaker 6: be two hundred bucks, so's it's a pricey one, but
- 1:20:48Speaker 6: Lego insiders are getting early access few days before. This
- 1:20:51Speaker 6: is like one of those collector series. And that's three
- 1:20:53Speaker 6: things you need to know.
- 1:20:54Speaker 3: There's a post going viral online I thought it was
- 1:20:58Speaker 3: really interesting. Says that every three years or so, a
- 1:21:02Speaker 3: new water bottle brand comes out and women go crazy
- 1:21:05Speaker 3: over it so much so that has become a part
- 1:21:08Speaker 3: of their personality. So I actually have a list of
- 1:21:12Speaker 3: the history of water bottles when they came out and
- 1:21:14Speaker 3: how women would trazy over it.
- 1:21:17Speaker 2: Yeah. What was the first water bottle I've.
- 1:21:19Speaker 5: Left I'm gonna tell you right now.
- 1:21:20Speaker 3: From the nineteen seventies to the two thousands, it was
- 1:21:23Speaker 3: a water bottle called Nalgeen or now gene.
- 1:21:26Speaker 5: I don't know what that is.
- 1:21:27Speaker 4: I'm going to look it up right now.
- 1:21:28Speaker 3: In the twenty ten to twenty sixteen was the Camelback Eddy.
- 1:21:33Speaker 4: The Camelback twenty sixteen.
- 1:21:35Speaker 5: To twenty nineteen was called s Well Swell.
- 1:21:39Speaker 8: Swell, Yeah, they're still around.
- 1:21:41Speaker 3: Twenty nineteen to twenty twenty one. Hydroflask, Oh yeah, twenty
- 1:21:46Speaker 3: twenty to twenty twenty two. The Yettie Rambler twenty twenty
- 1:21:52Speaker 3: one to twenty twenty two is called Simple Modern. Twenty
- 1:21:56Speaker 3: two to twenty four the Stanley. That's that's when it
- 1:22:00Speaker 3: started to get my attention. Yeah, people going crazy with
- 1:22:03Speaker 3: the Stanleys.
- 1:22:03Speaker 7: Well, because people were reselling them for like hundreds of
- 1:22:06Speaker 7: dollars for these limited edition colors.
- 1:22:08Speaker 3: The water bottle that everyone's drinking now that they say
- 1:22:11Speaker 3: women are going crazy for it.
- 1:22:12Speaker 5: Is called a wala.
- 1:22:13Speaker 3: Yeah people, would you guys agree with all that?
- 1:22:15Speaker 6: Oh yeah the wallas Nick has one right now. But yeah,
- 1:22:18Speaker 6: the a Walas are.
- 1:22:19Speaker 4: Like I asked, Addie.
- 1:22:21Speaker 6: This was like two years ago though, like we're just
- 1:22:24Speaker 6: getting around to it, but like two years ago.
- 1:22:26Speaker 4: I asked you, like, do you want a Stanley for
- 1:22:27Speaker 4: for school? This year's? Like Stanley's are out?
- 1:22:31Speaker 3: Well yeah, right, Stanley ended in twenty twenty four, so
- 1:22:34Speaker 3: twenty four until present is a wat So ADDIE's right
- 1:22:37Speaker 3: on target.
- 1:22:38Speaker 7: Because all of these water bottl companies they just like,
- 1:22:40Speaker 7: I mean, the thing with the Stanley's is that they leak.
- 1:22:42Speaker 8: You spill them. They leak, but now.
- 1:22:44Speaker 4: They have leak proof caps. Oh they've changed up their lids.
- 1:22:48Speaker 6: They did, and I think it's because it was like
- 1:22:50Speaker 6: the hydroflask were coming back in and then a Wallace
- 1:22:52Speaker 6: came and took over because they have like a totally
- 1:22:54Speaker 6: different Lida.
- 1:22:55Speaker 3: You guys agree with everything? That's good. Yeah,
