- 2:47Speaker 2: Question number one, who was the first President of the

- 3:16Speaker 7: Oh?
- 3:16Speaker 4: My god? Okay.

- 3:22Speaker 4: Seven would be in.

- 3:34Speaker 2: Congratulations, you are going to Disney on Ice.
- 3:37Speaker 8: Well, thank you so much.
- 3:38Speaker 7: These are going to be so exciting.
- 3:41Speaker 2: It's three things you need to know with the Elem
- 3:44Speaker 2: Jimmy Hale Mission is planning a four million dollar homeless
- 3:48Speaker 2: shelter downtown. It will have ninety eight beds for the
- 3:51Speaker 2: homeless population, two family rooms, showers, laundry facilities, a dining room,
- 3:57Speaker 2: and consultation rooms. So they plan on starting construction for
- 4:00Speaker 2: that in twenty twenty six. Travis Kelce has now invested
- 4:06Speaker 2: in the theme park industry.
- 4:08Speaker 3: I have been seeing the buzz.
- 4:10Speaker 4: It was just announced yesterday.
- 4:12Speaker 2: An investment firm said they are working with Travis Kelce
- 4:15Speaker 2: and several other rich people to enhance shareholder value and
- 4:20Speaker 2: improve the guest experience at six Flags theme parks. And
- 4:24Speaker 2: Travis said, I'm a lifelong six Flags fan and grew
- 4:27Speaker 2: up going to these parks with my family and friends.
- 4:29Speaker 4: You know, he's excited.
- 4:31Speaker 2: You know he's going to get to skip the line
- 4:33Speaker 2: every time he goes.
- 4:34Speaker 3: Well, yeah, he has the ultimate VIP Yeah fast pass.
- 4:38Speaker 4: Anyway, good for you, Travis Kelce.
- 4:41Speaker 2: After fifteen years of development, there is now a new
- 4:44Speaker 2: fruit hitting grocery stores, the Kalata Royale pineapple from the
- 4:50Speaker 2: Dole Company. It's a pineapple that tastes like a Pinia Kalata.
- 4:53Speaker 2: Is like, it's a pineapple that tastes like a Pinia Kalata.
- 4:57Speaker 2: You know how they somehow scienced grapes to taste like
- 5:01Speaker 2: cotton candy. Yeah, they have now science pineapples to taste
- 5:06Speaker 2: like pina Colada. It's got a coconut flavor to the pineapple.
- 5:10Speaker 3: What are they going to do next?
- 5:11Speaker 2: I don't know, but it has two and a half
- 5:13Speaker 2: times the B six of a regular pineapple, So that's good.
- 5:16Speaker 4: More vitamins.
- 5:17Speaker 2: They should hit the stores next month. Keep a look out.
- 5:20Speaker 2: That's three things you need to know. More at the
- 5:23Speaker 2: Alabama Show dot com.
- 5:25Speaker 1: The Alabama Show. It's free on the iHeartRadio app.
- 5:28Speaker 2: If you're mad about something, now's the time to call
- 5:31Speaker 2: the showhoo and we'll do our.
- 5:32Speaker 4: Best to help you.
- 5:33Speaker 2: Eight three threety five oh one, Bama is the number, Sarah,
- 5:36Speaker 2: Good morning. What's your issue for? Ask Alabama? Who are
- 5:39Speaker 2: you mad at?
- 5:40Speaker 9: I'm not at dating?
- 5:44Speaker 3: What's going on?
- 5:45Speaker 4: What's what's your dating life like right now? Are you
- 5:48Speaker 4: on the app?
- 5:49Speaker 8: Oh?
- 5:49Speaker 9: Gosh, dating is so lust reading these days. I don't
- 5:53Speaker 9: know what is wrong with men. Sorry to say it,
- 5:57Speaker 9: but it's like commitment has just completely gone out the window.
- 6:02Speaker 9: The second that you even mentioned god forbid you mentioned,
- 6:06Speaker 9: you know, I think one day I'd like to get
- 6:09Speaker 9: married and have a family.
- 6:11Speaker 4: They run for the Hills. Are they guys that you're
- 6:13Speaker 4: meeting on dating apps?
- 6:15Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 6:15Speaker 7: They are.
- 6:16Speaker 9: How else are you meeting people? Nobody's meeting people in
- 6:19Speaker 9: real life anymore, So you're like stuck to having to
- 6:22Speaker 9: use these apps and I don't understand, like what happened
- 6:28Speaker 9: to it?
- 6:28Speaker 2: Yeah, it does seem like all of the guys on
- 6:32Speaker 2: the apps.
- 6:33Speaker 4: Are here for hook cups.
- 6:34Speaker 2: So I feel like the best way to meet somebody
- 6:37Speaker 2: is in person. But I'm like you, like, where do
- 6:40Speaker 2: you do it? You got to go to like, yeah,
- 6:42Speaker 2: join a hobby club or something, the bowling or hear.
- 6:46Speaker 3: Me out, I go to church, that's one.
- 6:50Speaker 10: Go to the places that you would expect those hookup
- 6:52Speaker 10: culture people to be.
- 6:53Speaker 3: Right.
- 6:54Speaker 2: Have you met somebody recently that you said you wanted
- 6:58Speaker 2: to get married?
- 6:59Speaker 8: Oh?
- 6:59Speaker 9: Yeah, I mean I can tell when I'm on a
- 7:02Speaker 9: first date, Like I can just tell, And gosh, I'm
- 7:05Speaker 9: even afraid to even bring that up on a first
- 7:08Speaker 9: date anymore because I'm so afraid that the guy is
- 7:10Speaker 9: going to freak out.
- 7:11Speaker 2: Okay, now I think we're getting to the root of
- 7:13Speaker 2: the issue.
- 7:14Speaker 4: Are you saying you want to get married on.
- 7:15Speaker 3: The very first date most of the time?
- 7:18Speaker 9: No, I wait. But then even if I get into that,
- 7:22Speaker 9: I'm like date two or three, which I do think
- 7:25Speaker 9: is important to bring up. You need to make sure
- 7:27Speaker 9: that you're aligned.
- 7:28Speaker 4: Are you telling them that you want to have kids too?
- 7:31Speaker 4: When I'm saying that about.
- 7:33Speaker 9: What I'm looking for? Yeah, I am, because I you know,
- 7:37Speaker 9: I'm not a spring chicken. And if we're not aligned
- 7:40Speaker 9: on the state on the things that we want, I'd
- 7:43Speaker 9: rather know.
- 7:44Speaker 4: But our clocks.
- 7:46Speaker 2: Take y'alls don't produce their Blake exactly.
- 7:48Speaker 3: Well, how are you bringing it up? How do you
- 7:52Speaker 3: bring it up?
- 7:53Speaker 9: What are the things you dream of? That's why I
- 7:55Speaker 9: like to, you know, like instead of just point blank
- 7:59Speaker 9: being like do you want to get married? Do you
- 8:01Speaker 9: want to have kids?
- 8:01Speaker 2: Now?
- 8:02Speaker 9: I sensitively bring it up.
- 8:04Speaker 2: You know, let's see if we can get some advice
- 8:07Speaker 2: for you. Because look, producer Blake brings up Fortnite on
- 8:10Speaker 2: his first date with his girlfriend.
- 8:12Speaker 4: Yea, sir, I was.
- 8:13Speaker 10: Talking about way less interesting stuff on our first date.
- 8:16Speaker 4: Call the show. Are you in the dating world?
- 8:20Speaker 2: And how long do you wait before you start talking
- 8:22Speaker 2: about marriage and kids when you're dating somebody new?
- 8:26Speaker 11: That's eight three three five oh one two two six'
- 8:29Speaker 11: two you're listening.
- 8:30Speaker 2: To The Alabama show on. Demand sarah hates dating because
- 8:34Speaker 2: she keeps bringing up marriage and then guys run and
- 8:37Speaker 2: she doesn't know what to. Do call the show eight
- 8:39Speaker 2: three three five oh, One bama is the, Number, chris good.
- 8:42Speaker 2: Morning when do you think you should start talking about
- 8:45Speaker 2: marriage when you're dating somebody?
- 8:46Speaker 4: New all?
- 8:47Speaker 8: RIGHT i think you need to wait at least three.
- 8:48Speaker 8: Dates and here's. Why you need to figure out whether
- 8:51Speaker 8: you like this person or. Not because if you can
- 8:54Speaker 8: bring it up on the first date and they're really into,
- 8:56Speaker 8: you and you realize you're not into, them then you
- 8:59Speaker 8: might have a. Problem you want to wait until you
- 9:01Speaker 8: like this person before you start bringing up all that.
- 9:04Speaker 4: Stuff i'll be very. Honest i've started Watching love Is
- 9:06Speaker 4: blind On.
- 9:07Speaker 2: Netflix and some of these people it's like they don't
- 9:09Speaker 2: even care about the person that they're. Marrying they just
- 9:12Speaker 2: want to get. Married and to, me that's kind of
- 9:16Speaker 2: missing the point of.
- 9:17Speaker 4: Marriage that's scary in.
- 9:18Speaker 8: Itself, well and that's the thing that worries you if
- 9:22Speaker 8: that person is bringing it up too, early especially from
- 9:24Speaker 8: a guy's, perspective, right because if you especially once you
- 9:27Speaker 8: reach a certain, age if you're dating a, woman and
- 9:30Speaker 8: it feels like she doesn't care about who you. Are
- 9:33Speaker 8: she just wants to get the. Ring that's a. Problem,
- 9:37Speaker 8: absolutely that's what scares guys.
- 9:38Speaker 4: Away, chris thank you for.
- 9:39Speaker 8: Calling, hey thanks for having Me The Alabama.
- 9:42Speaker 2: Show fun to, Man it's.
- 9:43Speaker 1: Amazing free on The iHeartRadio app.
- 9:46Speaker 4: Eight three three FIVE o One bama is the number
- 9:48Speaker 4: to call the. Show, ty good.
- 9:50Speaker 2: Morning how long do you think you should wait before
- 9:52Speaker 2: you start talking about marriage and kids when you're dating somebody?
- 9:56Speaker 4: New so.
- 9:56Speaker 7: Listen it's hard to, say, OH i Watch love Is
- 10:00Speaker 7: blind two AND i, agree you, know with the three
- 10:03Speaker 7: days and things like. That BUT i wanted to chime
- 10:06Speaker 7: in on something that is kind of. Controversial but in
- 10:11Speaker 7: my experience and in the black, community we bring so
- 10:15Speaker 7: much of our life passed into the dating world that
- 10:20Speaker 7: it's hard for us to just live in the moment
- 10:23Speaker 7: and date and really look at the person for who they.
- 10:25Speaker 7: Are we want To we think we gotta know them
- 10:28Speaker 7: one hundred, percent and that's what keeps it so. Long
- 10:31Speaker 7: like you, see somebody may be waiting five years or
- 10:34Speaker 7: three years or whatever in eight nine. YEARS i got
- 10:37Speaker 7: a friend that waited nine years and now she's. Divorced that,
- 10:40Speaker 7: is it's a long freaking. Time and for us it
- 10:46Speaker 7: might not be just, us but there are certain people
- 10:48Speaker 7: who think that they're gonna know this person inside and
- 10:51Speaker 7: out instead of just what it isn't? Enough is WHAT
- 10:56Speaker 7: i know?
- 10:56Speaker 4: Enough?
- 10:57Speaker 7: Right and then it's just like every little thing you
- 11:00Speaker 7: do was like a red flag and OB i knew,
- 11:02Speaker 7: it and you are like a professional engaged.
- 11:05Speaker 3: Person.
- 11:07Speaker 4: Well and ALSO.
- 11:08Speaker 2: I think there's a lot to say for, women like
- 11:11Speaker 2: we literally are on a time crunch because after a
- 11:15Speaker 2: certain age we can't have kids, anymore and men can
- 11:18Speaker 2: just keep procreating.
- 11:19Speaker 4: Forever, Yes AND.
- 11:21Speaker 7: I think that's why when people are, older they can, say,
- 11:23Speaker 7: hey let's do, this because they already know some of
- 11:26Speaker 7: that stuff on that checklist is a wrap and not getting,
- 11:30Speaker 7: YEAH i love, YOU i love.
- 11:32Speaker 3: Y'all it's three things you need to.

- 12:25Speaker 2: it's topped with whipped. Cream Producer blake sounds like that
- 12:29Speaker 2: is a sugar crash and a.
- 12:30Speaker 3: Cup, YEAH i will not be trying.
- 12:32Speaker 4: That it sounds good.

- 12:40Speaker 2: Cute and then This Halloween munchkin's bucket has a new
