- 1:06Speaker 2: Archive Hour.
- 1:06Speaker 3: Kicking off this week here on the 26th of October.
- 1:10Speaker 3: We have Bobby, excuse me, we have, oh boy, Margaret
- 1:12Speaker 3: would never forgive me, Bobby wouldn't either. We have Margaret Gray,
- 1:16Speaker 3: easy Bobby.
- 1:16Speaker 2: I just was doing your promo. I understand.
- 1:19Speaker 3: We have Margaret Gray, this is very early Margaret Gray,
- 1:22Speaker 3: much younger Margaret Gray, talking about her column, her reporting
- 1:27Speaker 3: on celebrity issues and so on and so forth.
- 1:30Speaker 2: And in this.
- 1:30Speaker 3: Particular hour, Margaret was talking about Pamela Anderson being accosted
- 1:34Speaker 3: on a beach in South America by a bunch of men,
- 1:38Speaker 3: really frisky, horny slobs. And Margaret says, hey, you know what?
- 1:42Speaker 3: If you're like me, Margaret Gray, I'm hot and I
- 1:45Speaker 3: can handle it. How about you, Pamela Anderson? It's Margaret
- 1:49Speaker 3: at her full of crap best.
- 1:52Speaker 2: Let's listen. Her full of crap best. I like that.
- 1:54Speaker 2: So what's going on with Pamela Anderson?
- 1:57Speaker 4: Well, that's my question, really. I'd like to know what's
- 1:59Speaker 4: going on with Pamela Anderson because I'm really at a
- 2:03Speaker 4: loss as to explain her behavior. The last week or so,
- 2:08Speaker 4: I don't know exactly when this happened, Phil, but because
- 2:11Speaker 4: we're just getting the information in drips and drabs, she
- 2:14Speaker 4: apparently was on a beach in South America and she
- 2:19Speaker 4: was approached by some fans And apparently they were very
- 2:24Speaker 4: aggressive in asking for autographs and talking with her. And
- 2:29Speaker 4: she got her nose out of joint, I guess you
- 2:33Speaker 4: could say, and decided to come back to America.
- 2:38Speaker 2: Was she shooting a movie down there?
- 2:39Speaker 4: I don't know. I think she was shooting a movie
- 2:41Speaker 4: or she was down there for some sort of a
- 2:43Speaker 4: promotional appearance of some kind. But she decided that she
- 2:49Speaker 4: didn't want all of these fans or whatever. She didn't
- 2:54Speaker 4: want all of that attention, or they were getting too close,
- 2:58Speaker 4: or there was some problem that she was having. And
- 3:01Speaker 4: young Miss Anderson decided that she doesn't want all of
- 3:05Speaker 4: that attention, and she's too good for that or something.
- 3:08Speaker 4: So she's returning home.
- 3:10Speaker 2: Now, she was in South America. I don't know what country.
- 3:13Speaker 2: Was it Brazil?
- 3:15Speaker 4: I don't know, Phil. Honestly, I don't. She was down
- 3:17Speaker 4: there either for a movie shoot or for a promotional
- 3:21Speaker 4: appearance of some kind. And what normally happens is people
- 3:25Speaker 4: will come up to you if you are a famous celebrity,
- 3:30Speaker 4: and they'll ask you for your autograph. They want to
- 3:34Speaker 4: talk about you. It is the price that you pay
- 3:37Speaker 4: for being famous. And I can tell you, Phil, I
- 3:40Speaker 4: have been involved... As a writer, and I've been involved
- 3:44Speaker 4: in the media as a press relations agent, this is,
- 3:47Speaker 4: I've seen the biggest stars in the business deal with
- 3:51Speaker 4: their fans in a very gracious way, be able to
- 3:55Speaker 4: give autographs, not be upset when they're approached. And this is,
- 3:59Speaker 4: I think, an example that maybe the celebrity's a little
- 4:02Speaker 4: bit too big for young Miss Anderson. Obviously, she is
- 4:06Speaker 4: in over her head. And I think that head that
- 4:10Speaker 4: she's in over is getting a little bit too big
- 4:12Speaker 4: for her.
- 4:12Speaker 2: All right, well, the story that I got is that
- 4:14Speaker 2: Pamela Anderson was in South America, was approached by some
- 4:18Speaker 2: young men on a beach, and they were asking her
- 4:22Speaker 2: about the video of her and her husband, Tommy Lee,
- 4:26Speaker 2: her ex-husband, Tommy Lee. They were asking some inappropriate questions,
- 4:30Speaker 2: and apparently they were getting a little bit too close
- 4:33Speaker 2: to her.
- 4:33Speaker 4: Phil, before you go on, this is Pamela Anderson we're
- 4:38Speaker 4: talking about. She is a sex symbol. She is a
- 4:42Speaker 4: very beautiful young woman. She is obviously putting it out
- 4:45Speaker 4: there in Playboy magazine. Her and her husband put it
- 4:48Speaker 4: out there on this video. You know, the question that
- 4:52Speaker 4: I have, the question I'd love to ask her is,
- 4:55Speaker 4: What seems to be the problem? What is it that
- 4:57Speaker 4: you don't understand? These are young fans who are interested
- 5:01Speaker 4: in her.
- 5:01Speaker 2: Yeah, but they were asking her a lot of questions
- 5:04Speaker 2: about sex with her husband. They were apparently... touching her
- 5:08Speaker 2: in inappropriate places. You see what I'm saying? In other words,
- 5:12Speaker 2: they were getting a little bit too close for comfort
- 5:14Speaker 2: for her.
- 5:14Speaker 4: This is a woman who's taken her clothes off in
- 5:19Speaker 4: an internationally distributed magazine. This is a woman.
- 5:22Speaker 2: Well, wait a second. What has that got to do
- 5:24Speaker 2: with having her private space violated by young men on
- 5:28Speaker 2: a beach?
- 5:28Speaker 4: If you are not willing to... If you're putting it
- 5:31Speaker 4: out there and you're not willing to have people respond
- 5:34Speaker 4: to it, Then what is the question here? And I'm
- 5:36Speaker 4: not really sure what you're asking me. She's a very
- 5:39Speaker 4: famous young woman. She has an obvious sexual aura about her.
- 5:45Speaker 4: She has a sex symbol, and she's getting a little
- 5:49Speaker 4: bit too big for her britches. This is going to happen.
- 5:53Speaker 4: You know, she had sex on a video with her husband.
- 5:56Speaker 2: Well, hold on for a minute. The sex on the
- 5:57Speaker 2: video with the husband.
- 5:59Speaker 4: She had sex on a video with her husband that
- 6:02Speaker 4: has been internationally distributed. You can download this thing on
- 6:06Speaker 4: the Internet. She has appeared nude in Playboy magazine. She
- 6:10Speaker 4: is a sex symbol on the television show Baywatch. What
- 6:14Speaker 4: is it that she doesn't get? What is it that
- 6:17Speaker 4: she doesn't understand about the way fans are going to
- 6:20Speaker 4: react to her?
- 6:21Speaker 2: Hold on for a minute, because you are painting a
- 6:24Speaker 2: picture here that I think is unfair and perhaps a
- 6:27Speaker 2: little bit inappropriate.
- 6:29Speaker 4: Oh, well, if it's inappropriate, you know, Phil, she didn't
- 6:31Speaker 4: have to be a movie star. Nobody put a gun
- 6:33Speaker 4: to her head and said, go out there and get famous.
- 6:35Speaker 2: No, but I'm saying, doesn't anyone, I don't care who
- 6:38Speaker 2: you are, Pamela Anderson, you, me, don't we all have
- 6:42Speaker 2: a right and a reasonable expectation that when we walk
- 6:45Speaker 2: out into any public place that people are not going
- 6:49Speaker 2: to be putting their hands on you physically?
- 6:52Speaker 4: Phil, I don't know whether they were putting their hands
- 6:54Speaker 4: on her or not. They were making comments about her beauty.
- 6:56Speaker 4: They wanted to talk to her. Yes, they wanted to
- 6:59Speaker 4: talk about the video. Fans are going to want to
- 7:01Speaker 4: talk about the films that they've seen you in. They're
- 7:04Speaker 4: going to want to talk about your work.
- 7:06Speaker 2: This is not a film that was produced for the
- 7:08Speaker 2: entertainment and edification of the audience. This was a private
- 7:12Speaker 2: video taken of her and her husband that they took
- 7:14Speaker 2: in the privacy of wherever it was that they were, okay?
- 7:17Speaker 2: I don't think that they intentionally expected this thing to
- 7:20Speaker 2: be downloaded, all right?
- 7:21Speaker 4: Phil, listen to me. I'm a journalist.
- 7:23Speaker 2: They did not intentionally expect this thing to be downloaded
- 7:26Speaker 2: by everybody in the world.
- 7:28Speaker 4: Phil, listen to me, please.
- 7:30Speaker 2: Do you understand what I'm saying?
- 7:31Speaker 4: Please listen to me.
- 7:33Speaker 2: Okay, so you don't want to comment?
- 7:34Speaker 4: Please just listen to what I'm going to say. because
- 7:38Speaker 4: I'm a journalist, because I have covered these people. I
- 7:43Speaker 4: know the animal, Phil. And believe me, I understand these people.
- 7:51Speaker 4: And this can happen to anyone, anywhere. She didn't want
- 7:55Speaker 4: the attention, then she doesn't do the nudity. She doesn't
- 8:00Speaker 4: want the attention of these fans... then she doesn't have
- 8:04Speaker 4: to do all of the nudity and the nude photographs.
- 8:10Speaker 4: She doesn't want to be nude, then don't take your
- 8:12Speaker 4: clothes off. And I don't know what she got upset about.
- 8:15Speaker 4: The question that I pose, if you are constantly advertising it,
- 8:20Speaker 4: do you have a right to be upset when they
- 8:23Speaker 4: come asking for it, Phil?
- 8:25Speaker 2: All right, I think that is entirely unfair, all right?
- 8:27Speaker 2: The woman was accosted on a beach.
- 8:29Speaker 4: Listen to what I said. Listen to my question.
- 8:32Speaker 2: But the woman was on a beach.
- 8:33Speaker 4: What was my question, though?
- 8:35Speaker 2: Your question was, if you don't, something about, if you're.
- 8:40Speaker 4: Constantly advertising it, then don't be upset when they come
- 8:44Speaker 4: asking for it. And I'll tell you something from my
- 8:47Speaker 4: own life, Phil. When I get dressed up, and I
- 8:49Speaker 4: can look pretty good when I get dressed up. I
- 8:52Speaker 4: get dressed up, I look good, Frank, and I go out.
- 8:55Speaker 4: And we're in a crowd, and men are attracted to me.
- 8:58Speaker 4: We were at a party. We were at a buffet lunch,
- 9:00Speaker 4: a buffet dinner the other night. We're at a party.
- 9:04Speaker 4: Men brush up against you. It's something.
- 9:07Speaker 2: And when a man brushes up against you.
- 9:08Speaker 4: It's something you expect, Phil.
- 9:10Speaker 2: Yeah, but when a man's brushing up against you, for
- 9:12Speaker 2: crying out loud, not being all too subtle. Don't you
- 9:15Speaker 2: think that's pushing it okay?
- 9:17Speaker 4: No, I don't think it's pushing it what it is,
- 9:20Speaker 4: men being men. And when you're putting it out.
- 9:22Speaker 2: There, are you saying that you were putting it out
- 9:24Speaker 2: there when you went to a dinner?
- 9:26Speaker 4: I went to a buffet dinner, yes. And I looked
- 9:29Speaker 4: pretty good, yes. In a way, you could say I'm
- 9:31Speaker 4: putting it out there. I like to wear things that
- 9:34Speaker 4: are sheer. I like to wear things that are cut
- 9:36Speaker 4: very tight. I look pretty good when I do that,
- 9:39Speaker 4: and it's something that I have to expect. My husband
- 9:42Speaker 4: understands this. I need to expect it. Pamela Anderson, for
- 9:48Speaker 4: all of the nudity of the nude that she's done
- 9:51Speaker 4: and all of her nude things, she puts it out there.
- 9:55Speaker 2: All right, but the question here is, she got afraid.
- 9:59Speaker 2: She was on a beach. There were guys coming around.
- 10:02Speaker 4: They were fans. If you get afraid of fans, then
- 10:05Speaker 4: don't make movies.
- 10:06Speaker 2: They were young men walking around her, asking her inappropriate questions,
- 10:10Speaker 2: apparently putting their hands on her and striking fear into
- 10:13Speaker 2: this woman's heart, okay?
- 10:16Speaker 4: Well, if you can't stand the heat, you get out
- 10:18Speaker 4: of the kitchen, okay? And my advice to Pamela would
- 10:21Speaker 4: be this. You know, you do your nude things, and
- 10:28Speaker 4: people want to know about the nude.
- 10:31Speaker 2: They want to know about the nude, whatever the hell
- 10:33Speaker 2: that is.
- 10:34Speaker 4: It's something that is expected when you're doing that kind
- 10:39Speaker 4: of thing.
- 10:39Speaker 2: All right, but... I still don't think she's understanding what
- 10:43Speaker 2: I'm saying here. I know she's famous. Does that mean
- 10:45Speaker 2: she has to get out there and she has to
- 10:48Speaker 2: be accosted? We're talking about Pamela Anderson. She was on
- 10:52Speaker 2: a beach in South America. Apparently some young men came
- 10:55Speaker 2: up and were rather inappropriate, in my opinion, with her,
- 10:57Speaker 2: and she was afraid to the point where she left
- 10:59Speaker 2: the country and came back to the United States. She
- 11:01Speaker 2: doesn't want to be down there, doesn't want to shoot
- 11:02Speaker 2: her movie down there, nothing. Margaret Gray is on the
- 11:05Speaker 2: line saying if you advertise it, don't be upset when
- 11:08Speaker 2: they come asking for it. Phil Henry's show. Phil Henry Show, 1-800-449-8686.
- 11:27Speaker 2: You can take that bumper music and throw that away, too.
- 11:29Speaker 2: That's real bad. 1-800-449-8686. Margaret Gray is with us. We're
- 11:35Speaker 2: talking about Pamela Anderson, who was on a beach in
- 11:37Speaker 2: South America and shooting a movie, or she was down
- 11:40Speaker 2: there doing something, and apparently she left... You know, see,
- 11:44Speaker 2: in other words, she got accosted by these young men
- 11:47Speaker 2: on a beach... and was in fear for her safety.
- 11:50Speaker 4: Phil, you know, you're not listening to what I'm saying.
- 11:53Speaker 2: No, are you hearing what I'm saying? She was apparently
- 11:56Speaker 2: inappropriately approached by these men.
- 11:58Speaker 4: What is it that these movie stars want? What do they...
- 12:03Speaker 4: I'm having a very difficult time understanding what your point is.
- 12:06Speaker 2: My point is that even though you're famous, you don't
- 12:09Speaker 2: have to sit still for somebody coming up and invading
- 12:13Speaker 2: your privacy that way.
- 12:14Speaker 4: Then why are you in the movies? And why is
- 12:17Speaker 4: it that you put it out there the way Pamela
- 12:20Speaker 4: Anderson does? And why is it.
- 12:23Speaker 2: She's a sex symbol. She does it in movies. She
- 12:25Speaker 2: does it on television. Does she have to do it
- 12:28Speaker 2: in her private life, too? These guys apparently were coming
- 12:30Speaker 2: up to her and grabbing her and asking her about
- 12:33Speaker 2: the Tommy Lee video.
- 12:35Speaker 4: All right, let me talk to you about the Tommy
- 12:37Speaker 4: Lee video. Number one, they made that movie. Nobody forced
- 12:41Speaker 4: them to make that film. Nobody put a gun to
- 12:44Speaker 4: their heads to make that movie.
- 12:46Speaker 2: They made it for their own private enjoyment. They weren't
- 12:49Speaker 2: out there selling the thing, okay?
- 12:50Speaker 4: Well, somehow, magically, it wound up on the Internet. And
- 12:54Speaker 4: so people want to know about that. Now, let me
- 12:58Speaker 4: tell you something. I'm a fairly attractive woman. I know
- 13:01Speaker 4: about these things. I'm talking to a man right now.
- 13:04Speaker 4: Let me tell you about these things from the standpoint
- 13:07Speaker 4: of a woman. I'm a very attractive woman. I have
- 13:10Speaker 4: a lot of men coming up to me, whether it
- 13:12Speaker 4: is at a social function or wherever. and they want
- 13:16Speaker 4: to rub up against you, and they want to talk
- 13:18Speaker 4: to you, and they want to know things about you,
- 13:21Speaker 4: and they want to charm you. And all of these
- 13:23Speaker 4: things are very, very interesting to men who don't know
- 13:26Speaker 4: anything about it. But to me, as an attractive woman,
- 13:30Speaker 4: I understand this.
- 13:33Speaker 2: And you don't mind guys coming up to you and
- 13:35Speaker 2: rubbing up against you?
- 13:36Speaker 4: Phil, you expect that it comes with the territory. And
- 13:39Speaker 4: if you're a woman with any kind of social grace,
- 13:43Speaker 4: and if you have a wonderful way with people, you
- 13:46Speaker 4: can defuse any situation. I've done it many, many times.
- 13:51Speaker 4: But again, I think you need to talk to more
- 13:53Speaker 4: women who are used to this sort of thing, who
- 13:56Speaker 4: are attractive women.
- 13:58Speaker 2: Well, have you been accosted on a beach and grabbed?
- 14:00Speaker 4: I've been at, we were at a buffet the other night,
- 14:04Speaker 4: and some guy came up behind me. He was a
- 14:06Speaker 4: friend of Frank's. And he took a celery stalk or
- 14:10Speaker 4: whatever it is, a celery stick, and he poked me
- 14:13Speaker 4: in the backside with it as a joke.
- 14:16Speaker 2: So a guy's taking a celery stick and jamming you
- 14:18Speaker 2: in the rear end.
- 14:19Speaker 4: As a joke, Phil, and what you do is you
- 14:21Speaker 4: turn around and you just, you diffuse the situation. Did
- 14:25Speaker 4: I feel something strange? And he says he held up
- 14:28Speaker 4: the celery stick and was waving it in my face.
- 14:31Speaker 4: And I said, well, that thing looks like it needs
- 14:34Speaker 4: a few more, you know, a few more minutes in
- 14:35Speaker 4: the crisper. Just something that sort of takes the onus
- 14:39Speaker 4: off of you.
- 14:40Speaker 2: Well, I don't know how a woman who is by herself,
- 14:42Speaker 2: and she might have been, she.
- 14:44Speaker 4: I don't think so, Phil. Pamela Anderson doesn't go out
- 14:47Speaker 4: by herself. I'm sure she had security people. I'm sure
- 14:50Speaker 4: she had studio people with her. Let's not start crying
- 14:53Speaker 4: the crocodile tears just yet.
- 14:55Speaker 2: All right, here's Memphis on The Phil Henry Show.
- 14:57Speaker 5: Hello.
- 14:58Speaker 4: Yes.
- 15:00Speaker 6: Any woman does not want to be molested in public.
- 15:05Speaker 4: If a woman gets raped, is it her fault? Are
- 15:07Speaker 4: we talking about molestation or just healthy curiosity?
- 15:14Speaker 2: Hello?
- 15:15Speaker 4: Yes.
- 15:15Speaker 2: Did you hear her?
- 15:17Speaker 7: No.
- 15:18Speaker 2: Margaret, say that again.
- 15:19Speaker 4: Can you hear me, dear? No, I can't. I'm sorry.
- 15:23Speaker 2: You can't hear her. All right, put her on hold.
- 15:26Speaker 2: Let's go to Statesville. Hello. You're on a Phil Henry show. Statesville. Hello.
- 15:33Speaker 4: I'm here.
- 15:34Speaker 7: Hey, I was wanting to point out one thing to
- 15:37Speaker 7: this woman that keeps saying if you put it out there,
- 15:39Speaker 7: you should expect it. Hello.
- 15:42Speaker 4: Yes, dear. I like it.
- 15:44Speaker 7: OK, well, that's a very familiar argument. Most rapists use it.
- 15:48Speaker 4: Oh, I'm not talking about rape. Don't be dramatic.
- 15:51Speaker 7: It's the same argument they use.
- 15:52Speaker 4: Don't be dramatic. We're talking about a woman on a beach,
- 15:56Speaker 4: and she's a famous woman, and she's a woman who
- 15:59Speaker 4: is a sex symbol.
- 16:00Speaker 2: This man's making perfect sense.
- 16:03Speaker 4: Well, yes, I'm sure he's making sense to you, Phil.
- 16:06Speaker 4: I'm a woman, and I'm a very attractive woman. Don't
- 16:11Speaker 4: be overly dramatic.
- 16:13Speaker 7: No, ma'am, I'm not being overdramatic. I'm being very practical.
- 16:16Speaker 4: Of course, but she's Pamela Anderson. She had the sex video.
- 16:22Speaker 4: She's on Baywatch. She's got the nude layout in Playboy.
- 16:29Speaker 7: The videotape was stolen and put on the Internet by
- 16:33Speaker 7: someone without their permission.
- 16:35Speaker 4: Have you seen it?
- 16:36Speaker 7: No, ma'am, I'm not interested in smut, and that's just filthy.
- 16:40Speaker 4: Well, just for educational purposes.
- 16:43Speaker 7: Ma'am, I don't need a video like that to teach
- 16:45Speaker 7: me how to romance a woman.
- 16:47Speaker 4: Well, no, no, it's not for teaching. I'm saying in
- 16:49Speaker 4: terms of the lives of celebrities. You see what I'm saying?
- 16:52Speaker 7: That is nobody's business. That was their own bedroom. A
- 16:56Speaker 7: reasonable expectation of privacy was in place there. If he
- 17:03Speaker 7: had killed her on that videotape, they couldn't use it
- 17:06Speaker 7: because a reasonable expectation of privacy... You need a search
- 17:11Speaker 7: warrant to get that legally. Anybody who has that is
- 17:14Speaker 7: committing a crime.
- 17:15Speaker 4: Well, why would they make that film and distribute it
- 17:19Speaker 4: all over the world?
- 17:20Speaker 7: They did not distribute it. It was stolen from them.
- 17:24Speaker 4: Well, they made the film, yes or no?
- 17:27Speaker 7: Ma'am.
- 17:27Speaker 4: Obviously they made the film, and I would go so
- 17:32Speaker 4: far as to conjecture that they made the film in
- 17:34Speaker 4: order for it to someday become a distributable property.
- 17:39Speaker 2: You can't make that leap of faith. They made that
- 17:42Speaker 2: video the way a lot of husbands and wives make videos, okay?
- 17:45Speaker 4: Oh, really, Phil? What husbands and wives are those?
- 17:48Speaker 2: I don't know. There are probably.
- 17:50Speaker 4: Well, this gentleman doesn't do that, do you, sir?
- 17:53Speaker 7: No, because my wife is not interested.
- 17:55Speaker 4: All right, but you are.
- 17:58Speaker 7: No, ma'am, I'm not interested in anything that would hurt
- 18:00Speaker 7: my wife.
- 18:00Speaker 2: Hold the line, please.
- 18:05Speaker 8: And now, here is Phil.
- 18:21Speaker 2: Phil Henry Show, 1-800-449-8686. Margaret Gray, nationally syndicated columnist on
- 18:25Speaker 2: the line with us. She's talking about the episode involving
- 18:28Speaker 2: Pamela Anderson in South America. This is a woman who, yeah,
- 18:32Speaker 2: is a sex symbol, Margaret. She's done a lot of
- 18:34Speaker 2: nude spreads and yada, yada, yada, yada, all that wonderful stuff.
- 18:37Speaker 2: She got chased off of a beach by a group
- 18:39Speaker 2: of young men who were coming up to her and
- 18:42Speaker 2: asking her questions about.
- 18:44Speaker 4: Bill, I already know the situation, all right?
- 18:46Speaker 2: Well, let me reset it for the audience at least, okay?
- 18:48Speaker 2: They were asking a lot of inappropriate questions.
- 18:51Speaker 4: Yes, but by resetting it for the audience, I think
- 18:53Speaker 4: what you're doing is you're coloring it in favor of
- 18:55Speaker 4: your point of view. She was approached by a group
- 18:58Speaker 4: of fans who wanted to talk to her. And she
- 19:00Speaker 4: was approached by a group of young men, obviously the
- 19:04Speaker 4: target audience for whatever it is that she does. And
- 19:06Speaker 4: what she does is a very high-profile sex kitten, modern-day
- 19:14Speaker 4: sex kitten act, doing all of her movies and her
- 19:18Speaker 4: nude spreads.
- 19:20Speaker 2: But she was being pawed at, and they were asking
- 19:22Speaker 2: her questions about the video.
- 19:24Speaker 4: Very natural questions. I don't know what these celebrities want,
- 19:28Speaker 4: but I'll tell you something. And, again, I'm not only
- 19:31Speaker 4: speaking as a journalist. I'm speaking as a woman who
- 19:34Speaker 4: is attractive. I know these animals, and they get a
- 19:38Speaker 4: little bit in over their heads, and they get a
- 19:39Speaker 4: little studdy. She wasn't afraid, Phil. She'd had enough of
- 19:43Speaker 4: the unwashed, and she wanted to go back to America
- 19:46Speaker 4: where everything was nice and clean and hermetically sealed. and
- 19:50Speaker 4: she doesn't have to deal with these fans. When you
- 19:53Speaker 4: go to a country like Brazil, Baywatch is huge all
- 19:56Speaker 4: over the world. You are going to meet some of
- 19:58Speaker 4: your fans face-to-face. Pamela Anderson should come off of her
- 20:01Speaker 4: high horse. Either that or quit putting it out there.
- 20:04Speaker 2: Here we go with that putting it out there thing.
- 20:06Speaker 2: This is the gentleman hanging on in Statesville, which is
- 20:08Speaker 2: the point that he's been trying to make. that by
- 20:10Speaker 2: putting it out there, it doesn't mean a woman is
- 20:12Speaker 2: supposed to be, leave herself open for being accosted, okay?
- 20:17Speaker 4: Well, you keep saying accosted. I don't know what you
- 20:20Speaker 4: mean by that.
- 20:21Speaker 7: I think he means fondled.
- 20:23Speaker 2: Fondled and grabbed at.
- 20:24Speaker 4: What are you talking about? I was in a buffet
- 20:27Speaker 4: line at a luncheon.
- 20:28Speaker 7: I heard that, and you don't need to rephrase it
- 20:30Speaker 7: for the colors because you're coloring it to print.
- 20:33Speaker 4: Maybe the other listeners didn't hear it, but I got
- 20:35Speaker 4: poked good naturedly.
- 20:37Speaker 7: Isn't that what you just jumped on the host for?
- 20:39Speaker 4: What is that?
- 20:40Speaker 7: Coloring it to fit your argument.
- 20:43Speaker 4: I'm trying to let the listeners know what happened.
- 20:46Speaker 7: That's what you said. You jumped on him.
- 20:48Speaker 4: I was good-naturedly poked in the rear end with a
- 20:51Speaker 4: celery stick. So what? What's wrong with that?
- 20:54Speaker 2: Was it your husband?
- 20:55Speaker 7: That was inappropriate. A man should not touch a woman's
- 20:58Speaker 7: backside for any reason without an invitation.
- 21:01Speaker 4: I'm a very attractive woman. That doesn't matter.
- 21:04Speaker 7: A man does not touch a woman without her permission.
- 21:07Speaker 4: Excuse me, it's my body. It's not yours.
- 21:09Speaker 2: But wait a minute. How did your husband react to that?
- 21:12Speaker 4: I don't know where he was.
- 21:14Speaker 2: Well, what would he think had he known about that?
- 21:17Speaker 4: It's really none of his business, is it? It's none
- 21:20Speaker 4: of my husband's business whether a man wants to give
- 21:21Speaker 4: me a good-natured little poke. What does that have to
- 21:24Speaker 4: do with it?
- 21:25Speaker 7: That's the most absurd thing I've ever heard.
- 21:28Speaker 4: Why is that absurd?
- 21:30Speaker 7: Because men do not have a right to touch women
- 21:34Speaker 7: without a woman's permission.
- 21:36Speaker 5: No, no, no.
- 21:36Speaker 4: I said it's none of my husband's business. You said
- 21:38Speaker 4: that's absurd. Why?
- 21:39Speaker 7: He's your husband. You're supposed to be monogamous with him.
- 21:45Speaker 4: Darling, I'm not making love to the man. He just
- 21:47Speaker 4: stuck a celery stick up my rear end. There's nothing
- 21:50Speaker 4: remotely even.
- 21:52Speaker 2: Stuck a celery stick up your rear end.
- 21:55Speaker 4: That's not making love to the man. My God, what
- 21:58Speaker 4: has happened to the American man? that he becomes such
- 22:04Speaker 4: a diffused example of his predecessors and ancestors. Excuse me, ma'am.
- 22:10Speaker 7: That's not infidelity. Opposed to the American male, the American
- 22:14Speaker 7: man does not touch a woman for any reason in
- 22:17Speaker 7: a suggestive or inappropriate manner. You do not touch a
- 22:21Speaker 7: woman's body. Unless she's your wife. And I don't care.
- 22:25Speaker 2: If it's Pamela Anderson on a beach, she may be
- 22:28Speaker 2: a sex kitten, and that may be her public persona,
- 22:30Speaker 2: her entertainment persona, and we all know that, okay? The
- 22:33Speaker 2: woman is out in her private life enjoying the beach,
- 22:38Speaker 2: and you're telling me a guy takes a celery stick,
- 22:40Speaker 2: and that's not infidelity? Nobody's calling that infidelity.
- 22:43Speaker 4: I think the other gentleman did.
- 22:44Speaker 7: I called it inappropriate on the man's part.
- 22:47Speaker 4: Well, let's be clear. Taking a celery stick up the
- 22:49Speaker 4: rear end does not mean you're cheating on your husband, correct?
- 22:52Speaker 7: But your husband has a right to know his friend's
- 22:54Speaker 7: doing it.
- 22:55Speaker 4: I don't know whether Frank knew this man or not.
- 22:57Speaker 4: We were at a buffet. It was for some people
- 22:59Speaker 4: who work in Washington.
- 23:01Speaker 2: Oh, great, Washington. Guy's name wasn't Clinton, was it?
- 23:04Speaker 7: A stranger touched you and you didn't tell your husband?
- 23:08Speaker 4: He poked me up the rear end with a celery stick.
- 23:11Speaker 7: And you didn't feel a need to tell your husband?
- 23:13Speaker 4: It was a good-natured and very, very funny thing.
- 23:16Speaker 7: If a stranger touches a woman, it's not good-natured.
- 23:20Speaker 4: Look, you look at a... I don't know, sir, and
- 23:23Speaker 4: I don't want to be insulting, but an attractive woman.
- 23:25Speaker 4: He couldn't resist the chance. I'm very attractive.
- 23:28Speaker 7: Ma'am, you are being very insulted to all men around.
- 23:31Speaker 7: Men do not touch women without permission.
- 23:36Speaker 4: You're telling me that you have never stood behind a
- 23:37Speaker 4: woman with a very nice rear end and wanted to
- 23:39Speaker 4: stick a baby... I mean, Phil, I don't know how
- 23:42Speaker 4: graphic you want me to be.
- 23:43Speaker 2: I don't want you to be graphic at all, okay?
- 23:44Speaker 2: And I don't know what you're asking.
- 23:46Speaker 4: I'm asking the gentleman. You've never had the urge.
- 23:51Speaker 7: I've never done it.
- 23:51Speaker 2: The urge to what?
- 23:53Speaker 7: Touch a woman without permission?
- 23:55Speaker 9: Yes.
- 23:57Speaker 2: The man, it's one thing to think it, it's another
- 23:59Speaker 2: thing to do it, okay?
- 23:59Speaker 7: That's called sexual assault in North Carolina.
- 24:02Speaker 4: Oh, a celery stick? Hello!
- 24:05Speaker 7: Any physical contact with a woman, derriere, breast, any physical, unwanted,
- 24:11Speaker 7: sexually oriented.
- 24:13Speaker 2: Okay, so I guess the key phrase here, was it unwanted?
- 24:15Speaker 4: It was not wanted, but it wasn't unwanted. It was good-natured.
- 24:20Speaker 7: Ma'am, there is no good-natured contact by a stranger with
- 24:23Speaker 7: your backside.
- 24:23Speaker 4: He took a celery stick and just poked it between
- 24:26Speaker 4: the cheeks of my rear end.
- 24:27Speaker 7: So if I used a broom handle, it would be different?
- 24:30Speaker 4: A broom handle? My God, I'm talking about a buffet
- 24:33Speaker 4: dinner that we were having. And then he took the
- 24:35Speaker 4: celery stick and he started eating the end of it,
- 24:36Speaker 4: and I thought it was very cute.
- 24:37Speaker 2: Oh, Jesus.
- 24:40Speaker 4: You know something, Phil, because you aren't so bold, perhaps
- 24:43Speaker 4: you're a little bit jealous. I don't know.
- 24:44Speaker 2: I'm not jealous. God almighty. It just sounds like you're
- 24:47Speaker 2: at some buffet dinner. The guy must have been drunk.
- 24:51Speaker 4: I have no idea.
- 24:52Speaker 2: Well, it sounds to me like he must have been
- 24:53Speaker 2: drunk to pull a stunt like that. Sir, I thank
- 24:56Speaker 2: you for your call. eight six eight six so you
- 25:00Speaker 2: can so some guy takes a celery stick and sticks
- 25:02Speaker 2: it up your rear end and you think that pamela
- 25:04Speaker 2: anderson should have to put up with the same thing.
- 25:07Speaker 4: I'm saying if she had some social grace and able
- 25:12Speaker 4: to diffuse those situations yes.
- 25:15Speaker 2: Diffuse a situation well i've gone around and around with
- 25:18Speaker 2: it spartanburg on the phil henry show hello hi.
- 25:21Speaker 6: Phil yes I don't know where this lady is from.
- 25:24Speaker 6: I just tuned into your show. But this lady needs
- 25:27Speaker 6: to get some respect for herself and respect for all
- 25:30Speaker 6: women in the world.
- 25:31Speaker 4: I'm a writer. Well, that sounds a lot. I live
- 25:34Speaker 4: in Santa Monica, California, and I've written about celebrity for
- 25:37Speaker 4: the last 20 years of my life. I know these people.
- 25:40Speaker 4: I know these celebrities. Well, whatever Pamela.
- 25:42Speaker 6: Anderson does in her own privacy, in her own bedroom,
- 25:46Speaker 6: in her own business, and what she does on the beach,
- 25:49Speaker 6: that's her private life.
- 25:51Speaker 2: Well, wait a second. We're talking about the fact that
- 25:53Speaker 2: she was standing on a beach and some guys came
- 25:54Speaker 2: up and started to talk to her. They knew who
- 25:57Speaker 2: she was.
- 25:58Speaker 4: Well, obviously you have to bring this woman up to
- 26:00Speaker 4: speed because she doesn't know what we're talking about, do you?
- 26:03Speaker 6: I just tuned in.
- 26:03Speaker 4: I just tuned in. Well, let me explain. Pamela Anderson.
- 26:08Speaker 6: I've already called up on that.
- 26:10Speaker 4: Was on the beach, and some young men came up
- 26:12Speaker 4: and started asking her about her film career. And, yes,
- 26:16Speaker 4: they pinched her on the rear end or whatever they do.
- 26:18Speaker 4: That's what young men do. And if you are a
- 26:21Speaker 4: sex symbol... You have to expect that.
- 26:23Speaker 2: Bull crap, you do not.
- 26:25Speaker 6: They have no right to touch her, to sexually advance anything,
- 26:31Speaker 6: unless she says, okay, it's all right.
- 26:33Speaker 2: And she got so frightened of this encounter, ma'am, that
- 26:35Speaker 2: she decided to return to the United States. She didn't
- 26:37Speaker 2: want to have anything more to do with these people.
- 26:39Speaker 4: And her head got too big for her is what happened.
- 26:42Speaker 2: No, her head didn't get too big for her. She
- 26:45Speaker 2: was afraid, and she didn't want to be down there
- 26:47Speaker 2: any longer.
- 26:47Speaker 6: No man has the right to advance on her or
- 26:51Speaker 6: touch her no more than they would me or any
- 26:53Speaker 6: other woman, self-respecting woman.
- 26:55Speaker 4: Darling, I'm a very attractive woman. I don't know. Are
- 26:58Speaker 4: you attractive?
- 27:00Speaker 6: Well, I wouldn't say that I'm ugly.
- 27:02Speaker 4: Okay, that's good.
- 27:03Speaker 6: But if a man walked up to me and grabbed
- 27:05Speaker 6: me on the butt, I would be very offended by it.
- 27:07Speaker 4: It depends on the context, obviously. It's a good-natured party,
- 27:11Speaker 4: let's say. People have been having cocktails.
- 27:13Speaker 5: No, I don't care what.
- 27:15Speaker 6: We're drinking or anything else. A man has no right
- 27:18Speaker 6: to come up and sexually touch me.
- 27:20Speaker 4: Well, this man who, we were at a dinner buffet.
- 27:24Speaker 4: And I was standing in line at the buffet, and
- 27:27Speaker 4: I was getting, they had some wonderful salmon, and I
- 27:29Speaker 4: wanted to go back and get some of the salmon.
- 27:31Speaker 4: So I feel a little poke in my backside.
- 27:34Speaker 6: Yes, and the celery stick should have been shoved down
- 27:36Speaker 6: his throat. He had no right.
- 27:39Speaker 4: To do that to you. He was very cute. He
- 27:41Speaker 4: took a bite out of the end of it and
- 27:43Speaker 4: winked at me. And I said, that celery stick's looking
- 27:46Speaker 4: a little limp. Why don't I put that back in
- 27:47Speaker 4: the refrigerator? So I gave as good as I got.
- 27:51Speaker 2: Well, that doesn't sound like much of a rejoinder.
- 27:52Speaker 5: What?
- 27:53Speaker 2: The celery sticks needs to go back in the crisper.
- 27:55Speaker 2: The guy just jammed it in your rear end.
- 27:57Speaker 8: Exactly.
- 27:58Speaker 4: Well, it was cute. He asked if you should dip
- 28:02Speaker 4: it in the sauce first, things like that.
- 28:04Speaker 2: Oh, man, what a cornball slob. Okay, I mean, it's
- 28:07Speaker 2: slob behavior.
- 28:09Speaker 4: You know something? I'm an attractive woman. Men rub up
- 28:12Speaker 4: against me.
- 28:14Speaker 6: If you're such an attractive woman, why don't you have
- 28:16Speaker 6: more self-respect and get offended when someone does something like
- 28:20Speaker 6: that to you?
- 28:21Speaker 4: Darling, if I started doing that with every man that
- 28:23Speaker 4: rubs up against me, I wouldn't have a friend left
- 28:25Speaker 4: in the world. There wouldn't be a man left in
- 28:27Speaker 4: the world.
- 28:27Speaker 6: They are not friends that touch you in a manner
- 28:30Speaker 6: that you should not be touched.
- 28:31Speaker 4: I'm a journalist. I need to be in contact with people.
- 28:35Speaker 2: Well, okay, unless it was Tom Hanks that was doing
- 28:38Speaker 2: it to you, I don't see why you'd need that.
- 28:39Speaker 2: Thank you for your call. You know what I'm saying?
- 28:41Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying, Margaret?
- 28:43Speaker 9: No.
- 28:44Speaker 2: In other words, if you're a journalist and you need
- 28:45Speaker 2: to stay in touch with people, unless it was Tom
- 28:48Speaker 2: Hanks that was putting the celery.
- 28:50Speaker 4: Tom Hanks did not do that to me. I'm talking
- 28:53Speaker 4: about I was at a dinner.
- 28:54Speaker 2: Buffet, and I know that. I'm saying unless it was
- 28:58Speaker 2: a famous guy like Tom Hanks.
- 29:01Speaker 4: Listen, Phil, I understand. I am a beautiful woman. This
- 29:05Speaker 4: is going to happen. I can't get too big of
- 29:07Speaker 4: a head. And if Tom Hanks were to do something
- 29:10Speaker 4: like that, I would deal with that.
- 29:13Speaker 2: Well, okay, never mind. If Tom's saying the only guy
- 29:16Speaker 2: that would do that to you that would be worth
- 29:18Speaker 2: the while would be Tom Hanks. Do you understand? Costa
- 29:21Speaker 2: Mesa on the Phil Henry Show.
- 29:22Speaker 7: Hello?
- 29:23Speaker 9: Yes, hi.
- 29:24Speaker 3: Hi.
- 29:25Speaker 10: I'd like to echo the last lady that just called in,
- 29:27Speaker 10: and I'd like to tell this.
- 29:28Speaker 9: Oh, my God.
- 29:29Speaker 10: No, first of all, let me speak, because you're so
- 29:32Speaker 10: busy talking about how.
- 29:33Speaker 6: Beautiful you are.
- 29:33Speaker 10: You're not even listening to anybody else.
- 29:35Speaker 4: I'm understanding what Pamela Lee went through. Pamela Anderson, I
- 29:38Speaker 4: should say.
- 29:38Speaker 10: First of all, I think that you need to gain
- 29:40Speaker 10: some self-respect. And you're basically putting all women down by
- 29:43Speaker 10: saying it's okay. to let men rub up against a woman.
- 29:47Speaker 4: No, I'm saying if you have a social grace and
- 29:49Speaker 4: a social mannerism to diffuse the situation.
- 29:52Speaker 10: By telling him that he has a limp celery stick
- 29:55Speaker 10: does not socially diffuse the situation appropriately.
- 29:58Speaker 2: You know something? I've heard a lot of women told, oh,
- 30:00Speaker 2: if you can diffuse the situation, that puts a woman
- 30:03Speaker 2: on the defensive. It makes her have to develop skills
- 30:05Speaker 2: that she shouldn't have to have. in the first place.
- 30:07Speaker 4: So let's live in a world where everything is just rosy.
- 30:10Speaker 4: Is that what you're saying, Phil? Let's live in a
- 30:12Speaker 4: world where everything is the way it should be, not
- 30:13Speaker 4: the way it is. I live in a world where
- 30:15Speaker 4: men rub up against me.
- 30:16Speaker 9: You know what, though?
- 30:17Speaker 10: You can do something about that. You're saying it's unavoidable.
- 30:21Speaker 10: I'm saying that you need to take a harder look
- 30:23Speaker 10: at yourself.
- 30:23Speaker 9: And ask for it.
- 30:26Speaker 4: It's not offending me.
- 30:28Speaker 2: Guy takes celery stick.
- 30:30Speaker 10: It's a matter of self-respect for you if that doesn't
- 30:32Speaker 10: offend you, because that should offend you. That goes down
- 30:35Speaker 10: to your core.
- 30:36Speaker 4: It was cute what he did.
- 30:38Speaker 7: No, no, no.
- 30:38Speaker 10: See, that's the difference is what you define as cute
- 30:41Speaker 10: and what you're saying all women define as cute.
- 30:43Speaker 6: That's not cute.
- 30:45Speaker 4: I don't know what, I was wearing a pair of
- 30:48Speaker 4: thong underwear that night.
- 30:49Speaker 5: Okay, you know what?
- 30:50Speaker 4: Which means my, I don't know how to say this, Phil.
- 30:53Speaker 2: You don't have to get into it, okay?
- 30:54Speaker 4: No, please don't. Well, you know when you're wearing thong underwear,
- 30:58Speaker 4: you're going to be able to squeeze something between the cheeks.
- 31:00Speaker 4: It's just the fact that you're wearing thong underwear is
- 31:02Speaker 4: what I'm saying.
- 31:03Speaker 10: No, okay.
- 31:05Speaker 2: Okay, so now you're giving us the mechanics on how
- 31:07Speaker 2: it was he got the celery stick in there. We
- 31:09Speaker 2: don't need that. We're talking about a bigger issue here,
- 31:12Speaker 2: whether it was appropriate for him. Do you understand what
- 31:15Speaker 2: I'm saying?
- 31:15Speaker 4: No, I don't, Phil. You don't understand what I'm saying.
- 31:18Speaker 2: Yes, we're wearing thong underwear so it was easy for
- 31:20Speaker 2: him to do it. I don't care, man.
- 31:22Speaker 10: And listen, we're all understanding what you're saying. saying, what
- 31:24Speaker 10: you're basically saying over and over again is that you're
- 31:27Speaker 10: this very beautiful lady that can't get men to stop
- 31:30Speaker 10: rubbing up and down against you, and it's okay for
- 31:32Speaker 10: you because you can appropriately diffuse the situation. When it
- 31:36Speaker 10: really comes down to it, you need to get some
- 31:37Speaker 10: self-respect and learn to say, you know what, that's not okay.
- 31:42Speaker 4: You know, I find it very interesting. I was going
- 31:43Speaker 4: to be on your program that I talk about Pamela Anderson,
- 31:45Speaker 4: and I suddenly am being attacked.
- 31:47Speaker 9: Absolutely.
- 31:49Speaker 2: You're the one that brought up the celery stick incident.
- 31:51Speaker 2: And just to put a capper on the Pamela Anderson thing,
- 31:53Speaker 2: the woman is a sex symbol. The woman has done
- 31:55Speaker 2: things in film and in print that speaks to a
- 31:59Speaker 2: certain public persona that she wishes to purvey. It doesn't
- 32:02Speaker 2: mean she's got to be pawed on a beach by
- 32:05Speaker 2: a bunch of strange young Brazilian men.
- 32:08Speaker 4: Oh, so it's a racial issue, is it?
- 32:10Speaker 2: I'm sorry?
- 32:10Speaker 4: It's racial, is that it?
- 32:12Speaker 10: No, it's not a racial thing.
- 32:13Speaker 2: Racial about what?
- 32:15Speaker 4: So you don't want Brazilians pawing her. Would it be
- 32:17Speaker 4: better if Americans were doing it? See, this is why
- 32:21Speaker 4: I'm a journalist. I notice these things. And you and
- 32:25Speaker 4: your racist callers, Phil.
- 32:27Speaker 10: Oh, this has nothing to do with me being a racist.
- 32:29Speaker 4: Well, you don't like the Brazilian angle.
- 32:31Speaker 10: No, I never said anything about that.
- 32:33Speaker 4: Did I? I believe I heard you say that.
- 32:35Speaker 6: Listen, no, no, no.
- 32:36Speaker 2: I said it.
- 32:37Speaker 9: You better listen to the facts a little.
- 32:38Speaker 4: Bit more clearly. Well, what is your problem with Brazilians?
- 32:41Speaker 6: I have no problem with Brazilians.
- 32:42Speaker 4: I never said anything about them. That's not what you said.
- 32:44Speaker 2: That was what I said. She didn't say it.
- 32:46Speaker 4: So here you are running to the defense of your callers.
- 32:49Speaker 4: Is that it?
- 32:49Speaker 2: Oh, come on. Get the wax out of yours. Thank
- 32:52Speaker 2: you for your call, ma'am. 1-800-449-8686, Phil Henry Show. Phil
- 33:10Speaker 2: Henry Show, 1-800-449-8686. Margaret Gray with us here, having a
- 33:14Speaker 2: real interesting conversation about Pamela Anderson. And, oh, yeah, how
- 33:18Speaker 2: attractive you are, Margaret.
- 33:19Speaker 4: Well, Phil, you know, if the shoe fits. And I
- 33:22Speaker 4: realize you resent that.
- 33:23Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, I resent it. Here is Memphis on the
- 33:26Speaker 2: Phil Henry Show. Hello.
- 33:28Speaker 5: Memphis.
- 33:29Speaker 2: Yes, hi.
- 33:29Speaker 5: Hi. I just wanted to call and say first that,
- 33:33Speaker 5: you know, I happen to be a woman who is
- 33:36Speaker 5: well endowed, and I'm very used to men making comments,
- 33:40Speaker 5: rubbing up against me, hugging me a little bit too long,
- 33:44Speaker 5: and I don't like it. Never have.
- 33:46Speaker 4: Why not?
- 33:46Speaker 5: Never will.
- 33:47Speaker 9: Why not?
- 33:48Speaker 5: Because that's really only what I want.
- 33:50Speaker 8: My husband doing.
- 33:51Speaker 4: Baby, when you have the guns that you've got, okay,
- 33:54Speaker 4: you've got some good guns, right?
- 33:56Speaker 5: I've got some good guns. All right.
- 33:58Speaker 4: What's the problem?
- 34:00Speaker 2: What does that mean, what's the problem? You've got some
- 34:02Speaker 2: good guns.
- 34:04Speaker 4: Well, I'll just ask her a question.
- 34:06Speaker 5: I didn't ask for these good guns, and I certainly
- 34:09Speaker 5: didn't ask for men to rub up against them.
- 34:11Speaker 4: Soak up the attention. Pardon? Soak up the attention.
- 34:18Speaker 5: I have no desire to soak up the attention. I'd
- 34:20Speaker 5: rather be known for my intelligence. I'd rather be known
- 34:23Speaker 5: for my ability, not for my good guns.
- 34:27Speaker 4: Well, there's a reason why you're not known for your
- 34:29Speaker 4: intelligence or ability.
- 34:31Speaker 2: Wait a second. We don't know anything about this lady, okay?
- 34:34Speaker 4: That's kind of funny. Why don't they know you for that?
- 34:37Speaker 5: Oh, there's plenty that do. But I'm just saying men
- 34:40Speaker 5: that I meet in a social situation.
- 34:43Speaker 4: What's wrong with being known for some nice sweater melons?
- 34:46Speaker 4: I'm soaking up the attention.
- 34:48Speaker 2: Okay, all right. Look, the lady has made the point.
- 34:50Speaker 2: You don't like it, do you, ma'am?
- 34:52Speaker 5: No, I don't like it. But see, I think the
- 34:55Speaker 5: reason that Margaret.
- 34:55Speaker 4: I don't get that.
- 34:56Speaker 5: I think the reason Margaret does is you can tell
- 34:59Speaker 5: by the crudeness of her comments that... Social graces are
- 35:04Speaker 5: really not her thing. She does enjoy this. I mean,
- 35:07Speaker 5: it's very obvious that she enjoys men either making.
- 35:11Speaker 4: I like their attention, yes.
- 35:14Speaker 5: Not only the attention, the groping.
- 35:16Speaker 2: The lady in Memphis, will you hold on?
- 35:17Speaker 5: Yes.
- 35:18Speaker 2: I'm going to put another lady on the line here
- 35:19Speaker 2: in Anaheim, California. Anaheim, go ahead. You're on with Memphis
- 35:23Speaker 2: and Santa Monica.
- 35:24Speaker 7: Hello.
- 35:25Speaker 9: No, I want to speak to her. What is it, Margaret?
- 35:28Speaker 9: Is that her name?
- 35:29Speaker 4: Am I speaking with a lady in Memphis?
- 35:30Speaker 9: Yes. No, you're speaking to the one in Anaheim.
- 35:33Speaker 4: And what can I do for you, dear?
- 35:36Speaker 9: What can you do for me? You can't do nothing
- 35:38Speaker 9: for me. You better do something for yourself. You know,
- 35:41Speaker 9: self-praise stinks. You must be ugly. That's why you've got
- 35:44Speaker 9: to keep telling people how good-looking you are.
- 35:47Speaker 4: I happen to be very beautiful, yes. Oh, yeah, yeah.
- 35:50Speaker 9: Jesus, did you ever take a good look in the
- 35:52Speaker 9: mirror at yourself?
- 35:54Speaker 4: Well, you know, just because your chest is dwindling... You know?
- 35:58Speaker 9: No, there's nothing dwindling on me, miss.
- 36:00Speaker 4: The lady in Memphis, though, you've got, you're stacked, right? Hello, Memphis.
- 36:06Speaker 5: Yes, I'm here.
- 36:07Speaker 4: Now, you're built, isn't that right, dear?
- 36:09Speaker 6: Yes, I am.
- 36:10Speaker 1: As a.
- 36:13Speaker 4: Matter of fact, yes, I am. Yeah.
- 36:17Speaker 2: All right, well, thank you very much, dear.
- 36:18Speaker 9: You're praising yourself too much.
- 36:21Speaker 4: Oh, blow it out your ass.
- 36:22Speaker 9: No, you better do that.
- 36:23Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, get out of here.
