  Speaker 1: prayer to be able to have the Holy Spirit be

  Speaker 1: able to speak through this mic, be able to go

  Speaker 1: through the listener's ears and be able to reach their

  Speaker 1: hearts and minds and be able to apply these verses

  Speaker 1: to their lives. In the Lord Jesus Christ's name I pray, amen.

  Speaker 1: So like I stated, Mark chapter 15. In this episode. And.

  Speaker 2: An episode. Even though I say I'm live. Right. When

  Speaker 1: And the best part is, let's get into Mark chapter 15.

  Speaker 1: It'll state it. Pilate asked Jesus questions. Very early the

  Speaker 1: next morning, all the Jewish leaders met together.

  Speaker 2: The leaders of the priests met with the leaders.

  Speaker 1: The teachers of God's law and the other important Jews,
• 1:51
  Speaker 1: they decided what they would do. They tied Jesus' hands
• 1:56
  Speaker 1: and feet and they took him to Pilate's house. They

  Speaker 1: put him under Pilate's authority. Pilate asked Jesus, Are you

  Speaker 1: the king of the Jews? Jesus replied, You have said it.

  Speaker 1: Mark chapter 15, verse 3. Then the leaders of the

  Speaker 1: priests told Pilate that Jesus had done many bad things. See,

  Speaker 1: we all have been falsely accused. Whether it's from our

  Speaker 1: loved ones growing up as adolents. You know, being a
• 2:34
  Speaker 1: young adult is no exception either. Being accused of.
• 2:42
  Speaker 2: Not only just.
• 2:44
  Speaker 1: Being accused, but being gossiped about and it was lies.

  Speaker 1: And other people believe lies sometimes. And they also can
• 2:56
  Speaker 1: be easily persuaded. And that's why I try to really...

  Speaker 1: Live by the fact that.

  Speaker 1: I know people's... Intentions aren't always good. I believe most
• 3:13
  Speaker 1: people are good.

  Speaker 2: But their intentions are. And regardless....

  Speaker 1: The ones that you love and the ones that love

  Speaker 1: you will hurt you. Jesus explained that. Look how Judas.

  Speaker 2: Look how Judas was... One of the twelve disciples. Betrayed him. So.

  Speaker 2: Verse four. So Pilate asked him again. What is your answer?

  Speaker 2: You should say something. Listen.

  Speaker 1: They are saying that you have done many bad things.

  Speaker 1: We've already read that. That's not even too bad of a.

  Speaker 1: the men were saying against him. Pilate was very surprised

  Speaker 1: about that. Pilate asked the people what he should do

  Speaker 1: with Jesus. During the Passover festival each year, Pilate let

  Speaker 1: one person go free out of the prison.

  Speaker 2: The people had to ask him for... the person that

  Speaker 2: they wanted.

  Speaker 1: Verse 7, a man called Barbados was in the prison

  Speaker 1: at that time. He and some other men had fought

  Speaker 1: against the Roman rulers and they had killed someone when

  Speaker 1: they were fighting.

  Speaker 2: See, Pilate did not.

  Speaker 1: Respect Jesus' authority and When you look at these verses,

  Speaker 1: how Jesus just responded by.

  Speaker 2: Not even responding sometimes. Imagine being.

  Speaker 1: Overthrown by not only just the elites, the Romans, the Pharisees,

  Speaker 1: and still Jesus was humble and With silence.

  Speaker 2: And was able to take. All that. What a lot
• 5:39
  Speaker 2: of us have to face. In this life. And the
• 5:44
  Speaker 2: difference is. He knew. That he was. He had to die.

  Speaker 2: And he did. He could have. Given up.

  Speaker 1: And not fulfilled God's. His father's promise. Think about that

  Speaker 1: for a moment. His purpose.

  Speaker 2: As the light goes off. No matter where I walk.

  Speaker 2: Because the Holy Spirit. Is with me. Because I had

  Speaker 2: that relationship with Jesus. When I had nobody else. He

  Speaker 2: was there.

  Speaker 1: When I had everybody else that was in my life.

  Speaker 1: No matter how long they stayed. He was there.

  Speaker 2: And what I mean is. He is also it. The Spirit.

  Speaker 2: The Spirit. Is in. Me. And is in you. If you.

  Speaker 2: All you have to do is have. Faith of a
• 6:40
  Speaker 2: mustard seed in Jesus. See what it can do for you.

  Speaker 2: Just see. Give it a trial run. For 90 days. Anyways.

  Speaker 1: Written there's been plenty of times that I've had to

  Speaker 1: didn't do the whole Bible like that.

  Speaker 2: But at the same time, I'll tell you this.

  Speaker 1: Jesus has gone through worse.

  Speaker 2: So the Spirit knows where it hurts.

  Speaker 1: Then the leaders of the priests told Pilate that Jesus

  Speaker 1: had done many bad things, right? So we've been talking

  Speaker 1: about that. So Pilate asked the people what he should

  Speaker 1: do with Jesus.

  Speaker 2: Passover. Let's go to verse 15. Pilate decided to do. No,

  Speaker 1: soldier told Simon. That he must carry Jesus' cross. The

  Speaker 1: Means the place of a skull. They tried to give Jesus.

  Speaker 1: then the soldiers fixed jesus on to the cross they

  Speaker 1: took his clothes for themselves they played a game with

  Speaker 1: dice to decide what soldiers would receive each of his

  Speaker 1: clothes so they were gambling on different things and it's

  Speaker 1: harass it's just.

  Speaker 2: Murder and A very sick twisted way too. The beatings.

  Speaker 2: The humiliation. The lashes. I can only imagine how painful
• 12:58
  Speaker 2: that really was. To go through that experience. And still
• 13:03
  Speaker 2: be able to have the strength to... Carry the cross.

  Speaker 2: Let alone... Be able to even walk....

  Speaker 1: So it's interesting that it had to happen that way, right?

  Speaker 1: So I want everybody to know.

  Speaker 2: That Jesus is the only way. He's going to be
• 13:34
  Speaker 2: the only way for you.

  Speaker 1: And I say that respectfully. I say that respectfully with
• 13:42
  Speaker 1: one minute Left on this episode. And I just want

  Speaker 1: you to take this opportunity. If you have not accepted

  Speaker 1: Lord Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. This is

  Speaker 1: your opportunity. All you have to do is repeat after me.

  Speaker 1: One minute prayer. Lord Father. I ask you for forgiveness

  Speaker 1: of my sins. I ask you to come into my
• 14:08
  Speaker 1: heart and into my mind and live. Help me be
• 14:13
  Speaker 1: more like you. Help me spend more time with you.

  Speaker 1: Help me fall in love with you so I don't sin.

  Speaker 1: So I can be able to prosper from what's in
• 14:22
  Speaker 1: me that's already needed to be activated. And the plans
• 14:26
  Speaker 1: that the Father has for us is glorious. It is
• 14:31
  Speaker 1: not plans to be mediocre. But to be able to
• 14:37
  Speaker 1: shine and be bright and help others.
• 14:41
  Speaker 2: As well.
• 14:42
  Speaker 1: That's glorifying God in each and everything we do, whether
• 14:45
  Speaker 1: it's bad too. And we recognize and we change patterns.
• 14:51
  Speaker 2: And we do the best we can.
• 14:53
  Speaker 1: And then sometimes we do a little bit more with
• 14:56
  Speaker 1: the Holy Spirit's hand.
