- 0:46Speaker 8: You're listening to the Sports Shock Show. I am the
- 0:48Speaker 8: Sports Shock Wayne Gandee, and I know if you are
- 0:54Speaker 8: people like Big Kenny, you thought I was not going
- 0:57Speaker 8: to show up today, but I got over my loss
- 1:01Speaker 8: quickly from Saturdurny day. I'm not like the guy that's
- 1:07Speaker 8: missing on the show. I don't dodge bullets. I don't
- 1:11Speaker 8: even go where the bullets are shot. Command you, Greg,
- 1:14Speaker 8: I stay on neutral turf. I'd have just stayed at
- 1:18Speaker 8: the cemetery. If I was a high Lander, That's just
- 1:21Speaker 8: where I would have been. Would have never been able
- 1:24Speaker 8: to kill me. His pastor, I just go I worked
- 1:29Speaker 8: for the church. They had the church. I'm just telling
- 1:34Speaker 8: you how I would have been island all that, crossing
- 1:37Speaker 8: the country, selling the oceans.
- 1:39Speaker 7: And trying to somebody be like sir, that Quickening all.
- 1:45Speaker 3: I don't think so.
- 1:46Speaker 8: I'd have just been at the church quickening went that way.
- 1:50Speaker 8: I would have been in the last fight, because you
- 1:52Speaker 8: had to fight once. It just became two. Well it's
- 1:56Speaker 8: to tonight and it will be at eight fifty pm.
- 2:00Speaker 8: I don't ask me why eight fifty I don't know.
- 2:03Speaker 8: I guess the four commercials or whatever Coca Cola they
- 2:07Speaker 8: have to the ice Kareem truck commercial as the run.
- 2:12Speaker 8: I don't know why eight to fifty's.
- 2:14Speaker 7: I think the commercials with the athletes in them. Get
- 2:20Speaker 7: those in because that's ten minutes. It's the only all
- 2:25Speaker 7: on them beginning.
- 2:25Speaker 8: Hold on, I know you're gonna try to explain this,
- 2:28Speaker 8: but it's the only game on the night. See when
- 2:31Speaker 8: it was like two or three games or you know,
- 2:33Speaker 8: And I'm trying to put the little twenty minutes right
- 2:37Speaker 8: after the last game ends kind of scenario on it.
- 2:41Speaker 8: Right then, I can understand, But just eight fifty the
- 2:45Speaker 8: only person coming to the park.
- 2:46Speaker 7: There's no NBA games either, NBA games tonight either, is it?
- 2:52Speaker 3: I thought it was like maybe two.
- 2:54Speaker 7: No, they they I don't know when they started, but
- 2:57Speaker 7: they don't play the night of the National Championship.
- 3:02Speaker 8: Okay, okay, I remember they did make some kind of
- 3:05Speaker 8: move like that, but I don't know. I thought they
- 3:08Speaker 8: saw two games on tap. Yeah, they have two games tonight,
- 3:12Speaker 8: Sacramento played Detroit at seven and Philadelphia plays Miami. They
- 3:17Speaker 8: might be some kind of makeup game. And sometimes when
- 3:21Speaker 8: they have those open dates when they was you know,
- 3:24Speaker 8: I know for high school football last year, we were
- 3:28Speaker 8: not supposed to play do a game on Friday after
- 3:31Speaker 8: Thanksgiving right because of the storms and different things.
- 3:35Speaker 3: We ended up having to have a game.
- 3:38Speaker 8: Teams across the state had to make up some games
- 3:41Speaker 8: on that Friday. And I think that could be it, Greg,
- 3:46Speaker 8: because I think you're right where they just stop having
- 3:48Speaker 8: games on National Championship Day. But it is two games
- 3:53Speaker 8: on tonight, Sacramento Detroit, Detroit. What a season they have had,
- 3:57Speaker 8: the Pistons turning that franchise around, and the Sixers.
- 4:02Speaker 3: Just everybody's hurt.
- 4:04Speaker 8: Joel Obibe ended up being on IR and Paul George
- 4:07Speaker 8: and I think Tyrese Maxi now has shut him down.
- 4:12Speaker 8: So if I were you I would try to sell
- 4:14Speaker 8: those tickets and well it's in Miami. Uh so don't
- 4:18Speaker 8: look for a lot because this is when all those
- 4:20Speaker 8: people are on the court. For Philly going into Miami,
- 4:24Speaker 8: that's a big game. Yeah, but when you're three stars,
- 4:27Speaker 8: you don't have one of the three stars out there.
- 4:30Speaker 8: It's one of those games you decide you're going to
- 4:32Speaker 8: clean out that closet. It's been waiting on all years.
- 4:35Speaker 7: And we gave you gave us a eye opening statistics
- 4:39Speaker 7: the other day about John Moran only playing about sixty
- 4:43Speaker 7: five games in his first season and since then hadn't
- 4:46Speaker 7: played as many. Joel embiid how many games has he played?
- 4:50Speaker 7: As I did see it three four season. He probably
- 4:54Speaker 7: somewhere in there, probably two.
- 4:57Speaker 8: Seasons where he might have played sixty f five games
- 5:00Speaker 8: or more.
- 5:02Speaker 3: I saw. I remember that.
- 5:04Speaker 7: Since twenty fourteen, Carmelo Anthony has played more games than
- 5:09Speaker 7: Joel Embiad and he's been retired for the last three years.
- 5:13Speaker 3: Wow.
- 5:14Speaker 8: Yeah, wow, So just and I was talking. You know,
- 5:19Speaker 8: I went out to watch the Auburn game on Saturday,
- 5:23Speaker 8: and actually it is a repeat of how we lose
- 5:28Speaker 8: is It's so funny, like if you watch the four
- 5:30Speaker 8: or five losses we did have. It was kind of
- 5:33Speaker 8: in the same fashion miss field free throws, late game turnovers,
- 5:40Speaker 8: like it's always almost the same formula for Auburn, but
- 5:46Speaker 8: Florida just kept coming up coming. But watching the game,
- 5:49Speaker 8: you know, Duke played the next game and they lost
- 5:53Speaker 8: to Houston. Houston and Florida played tonight. I don't know
- 5:57Speaker 8: how much people are interested in that game based on
- 6:01Speaker 8: the sense that Houston people don't really know that team
- 6:11Speaker 8: with the transfer portal to what people don't realize is
- 6:15Speaker 8: you don't really get necessarily a superstar no more because
- 6:19Speaker 8: the four or five guys, like even Auburn, it's all transfers,
- 6:23Speaker 8: you know.
- 6:23Speaker 7: It's not like they built up some sort of reputation
- 6:27Speaker 7: a man of the people.
- 6:28Speaker 3: Yeah right, Yeah, It's almost like take.
- 6:30Speaker 8: A star in a college starters you had and just
- 6:34Speaker 8: moved him to four or five teams in his career,
- 6:37Speaker 8: what he have built up that same kind of what
- 6:40Speaker 8: somebody like a Patrick Ewing? You know, Patrick Ewing at
- 6:44Speaker 8: Georgetown was a movement. He was a must watched thing.
- 6:48Speaker 8: But if he had just kept jumping around, was it
- 6:52Speaker 8: the connection between him and Georgetown and you trying to think, oh,
- 6:58Speaker 8: you know, no it Georgetown no more? Ye had Stanford,
- 7:02Speaker 8: Like he ain't at Stanford no more. He's down at Nebraska.
- 7:06Speaker 3: Well he's not. You know, is it a combination?
- 7:08Speaker 7: All of those guys who came along in that era
- 7:10Speaker 7: are intrinsically linked with their institution. Michael Jordan will forever
- 7:15Speaker 7: be guitar. He Grant Hill went to do correct, Yes,
- 7:20Speaker 7: forever that is, you know, and all of those and
- 7:24Speaker 7: the success those teams had seemed to be linked to
- 7:28Speaker 7: those players specifically. So and then I guess the students
- 7:32Speaker 7: got to see him when they would be on campus.
- 7:36Speaker 7: A lot of these guys don't even really go on
- 7:38Speaker 7: campus anymore.
- 7:38Speaker 8: Yeah, the way the schedules were structured and then based
- 7:42Speaker 8: on some of them are graduates, so they don't have
- 7:46Speaker 8: a full schedule.
- 7:48Speaker 7: You know, when you see him, say graduate, right, have
- 7:51Speaker 7: it on. Some of them put it on their jersey.
- 7:54Speaker 8: But now you're talking about people that are at school
- 7:56Speaker 8: that might not even have a full load.
- 8:00Speaker 3: You know.
- 8:02Speaker 7: One of the Connecticut players last night, Budzy Fud. They
- 8:08Speaker 7: said she graduated in three years and has been taking
- 8:11Speaker 7: graduate courses for the last two seasons. I believe now
- 8:18Speaker 7: I don't know how graduate school goes. If it's you know,
- 8:21Speaker 7: you got to have a certain number of hours, or
- 8:23Speaker 7: it's less hours. I know that, but there's that's not
- 8:28Speaker 7: a guarantee I'll see you on campus.
- 8:30Speaker 8: Well, a lot of people do graduate faster now from
- 8:34Speaker 8: the sense that they go to school in the summer,
- 8:40Speaker 8: whereas twenty years ago a player didn't go particularly and
- 8:46Speaker 8: if they did go in the summer, it was like
- 8:47Speaker 8: one just enough to say they were there to be
- 8:51Speaker 8: in the dorm, because I think you had to take
- 8:53Speaker 8: like at least two classes to still be in the dorm.
- 8:56Speaker 3: Now with all these new.
- 8:58Speaker 8: Things, and they go earlier. As we always talk about,
- 9:04Speaker 8: guys and ladies, and ladies reclassify or even they leave
- 9:10Speaker 8: right as the season they catch.
- 9:12Speaker 3: They don't even finish their high school year.
- 9:16Speaker 8: Yeah, a lot of guys went to school from high
- 9:20Speaker 8: school football in January. They went to their colleges, so
- 9:24Speaker 8: they start on their track. But yes, a zy Fudd
- 9:27Speaker 8: and what a game, A masterful game. I would have
- 9:33Speaker 8: opened up and talked about the yukon South Carolina as
- 9:38Speaker 8: far as the game. We're going to talk about it,
- 9:40Speaker 8: as far as the personnel and people. But it was
- 9:44Speaker 8: a blanket dominance. I tried to think of something where
- 9:53Speaker 8: South Carolina area they won in.
- 9:57Speaker 3: Now and I don't. Oh.
- 10:00Speaker 7: There was chatter on social media. There were some people
- 10:05Speaker 7: that I talked to during the game who tried to
- 10:07Speaker 7: suggest that the refs had favored Yukon in their play
- 10:12Speaker 7: calling and their calling of penalties. And I look, if
- 10:15Speaker 7: any of that is, if any of that has merit,
- 10:20Speaker 7: then a twenty point deficit would definitely show up on
- 10:24Speaker 7: film somewhere.
- 10:25Speaker 3: That would be blatant cheating.
- 10:27Speaker 7: There's no way a ref influenced a twenty point lead
- 10:31Speaker 7: by halftime. That's just not You're not going to get
- 10:34Speaker 7: me to believe that. And it was just blanket dominance.
- 10:38Speaker 7: I didn't have that phrase in my tool belt at
- 10:41Speaker 7: the time, but that's what I was trying to say.
- 10:43Speaker 7: This is just being beaten because they're playing better.
- 10:48Speaker 8: And for you that might have speculated that command shee
- 10:51Speaker 8: greg And I'm not telling you when these files happened
- 10:54Speaker 8: and when they didn't happen. I'm looking at the statistics
- 10:59Speaker 8: at year of team. Through the game, there was nineteen
- 11:03Speaker 8: fouls called against Connecticut. There was seventeen files called against
- 11:10Speaker 8: South Carolina. So wherever you were using trying to use
- 11:14Speaker 8: this ref influence. That's the default, and.
- 11:18Speaker 7: Nobody got through. Nobody got throughout the game. Nobody got
- 11:21Speaker 7: throughout the game. Technical foul. The FBI ain't investigating this morning,
- 11:28Speaker 7: and that's all I'm saying. Sometimes I think people find,
- 11:31Speaker 7: especially when it comes to supporting a team that's been
- 11:34Speaker 7: proficient throughout, it's difficult to go. We got beat, and
- 11:38Speaker 7: not only we got beat, but we got beat. You
- 11:41Speaker 7: know what I mean, just on up to it. You
- 11:43Speaker 7: took the al great game, you tried, but you.
- 11:47Speaker 8: Lost eighty two fifty nine Yukon now with their twelve
- 11:51Speaker 8: championship page. Beckers, we'll talk about just the women's game
- 11:56Speaker 8: and how I wouldn't be surprised if the ratings for
- 12:00Speaker 8: this game yesterday is not higher than the game tonight.
- 12:05Speaker 8: We'll we talked about that when we come back from break.
- 12:07Speaker 8: Schot Spire girl.
- 12:10Speaker 1: Can't touch me.
- 12:10Speaker 9: I got instincts locked in the house, but I'm platting things.
- 12:13Speaker 9: I brought a gang to the party with me, five
- 12:16Speaker 9: white boys, but they're not in sync, which y'all think
- 12:19Speaker 9: every thing that you say about me.
- 12:21Speaker 3: My dogs like to play.

- 15:26Speaker 1: Let's get it on, you.
- 15:31Speaker 15: It, get it on the floor, get it, get it,
- 15:35Speaker 15: You's get it all.
- 15:50Speaker 8: Welcome back to the spot Shock Show. I'm the Sportshock
- 15:53Speaker 8: Wayne Candy. Thats what Gino ari Emma had on when
- 15:56Speaker 8: he got off the plane, got in his car.
- 15:59Speaker 3: Get it on them.
- 16:00Speaker 7: Yeah he didn't. Let's get it on. This is when
- 16:05Speaker 7: they landed back he was humbled throughout. Nobody was around.
- 16:09Speaker 8: He even looked around to make sure it won't too
- 16:11Speaker 8: much traffic because he wanted to bleed out the car.
- 16:14Speaker 7: And when the last little tail lights went out of
- 16:18Speaker 7: the parking lot, you're that don't And he just started
- 16:24Speaker 7: doing this thing all by himself.
- 16:26Speaker 3: And that's how it be a lot of times, really something.
- 16:31Speaker 8: Things don't always hit everybody the same way at the
- 16:35Speaker 8: same time, right emotions really are triggered. I was watching
- 16:41Speaker 8: the Young Lady who is the next superstar of college basketball.
- 16:47Speaker 8: Young Lady Sarah Strong is a freshman for you come yeah, if.
- 16:53Speaker 7: You don't know, he didn't start learning that they don't
- 16:59Speaker 7: know how to stop. And Sarah Strong is her actually
- 17:02Speaker 7: named there, that's actually her name.
- 17:04Speaker 3: They're not describing her.
- 17:05Speaker 7: It seems like they're just giving a description of Sarah,
- 17:08Speaker 7: but no, Sarah Strong is her actual name.
- 17:11Speaker 8: If you don't know it is a complete fool who
- 17:16Speaker 8: wants some off the dribble.
- 17:18Speaker 3: I block shots, I stealed the ball.
- 17:21Speaker 8: I let you come in, blocks, steals and assists as
- 17:27Speaker 8: a freshman, and I was their second lead score.
- 17:30Speaker 3: Wow.
- 17:31Speaker 8: And even Geno after the game said he doesn't understand
- 17:35Speaker 8: that she like she has seen like she leaving tomorrow.
- 17:39Speaker 8: The only reason she might not be because the w
- 17:41Speaker 8: NBA still doesn't allow you to do the one and
- 17:44Speaker 8: done unless they change the policy. They are still a
- 17:47Speaker 8: three year situation. Yeah they have to three years. But
- 17:51Speaker 8: Sarah Strong the next thing, the next big thing. If
- 17:55Speaker 8: you don't know, but I was talking about the ratings
- 17:58Speaker 8: going in to break from since that it is Monday night,
- 18:02Speaker 8: like I just said, this game tonight between Florida and Houston.
- 18:06Speaker 8: You're talking about right now, Florida is known as a
- 18:11Speaker 8: football school, even though it has a very dominant basketball program.
- 18:16Speaker 8: Yes it doesn't go every six to eight year, it's
- 18:20Speaker 8: in the final four. They put out multiple pros. You know,
- 18:25Speaker 8: they don't put out the big name, splashy pro guy,
- 18:29Speaker 8: but the al halfers, Joe Keem Noah's, those kind of
- 18:33Speaker 8: faces and names. They can keep those guys in the
- 18:37Speaker 8: kind in the league. But right now, when you look
- 18:40Speaker 8: at the game tonight starting at eight fifty, Calvin Sampson,
- 18:43Speaker 8: the head coach of Houston, you kind of after that,
- 18:49Speaker 8: don't really know anything about these teams. They don't have
- 18:52Speaker 8: a Cooper flag. They're not big necessarily, they would be
- 18:59Speaker 8: small more market. You know, most colleges are but they
- 19:03Speaker 8: have a little the city of Houston, you know they
- 19:08Speaker 8: would be that would be their fan base, right, They don't.
- 19:12Speaker 3: They don't bleed.
- 19:12Speaker 8: Over into anything anything. Just the people in Houston cheer
- 19:17Speaker 8: them are.
- 19:18Speaker 7: Yeah, They're one of those persons where it's outside of
- 19:21Speaker 7: the city, you don't no one really pays that much
- 19:24Speaker 7: attention to it. And maybe every now and then they
- 19:27Speaker 7: get that get national attention there. I kind of like
- 19:31Speaker 7: their parallel county with the Memphis uh, where in Memphis
- 19:38Speaker 7: they are all about the basketball team, but outside of it.
- 19:43Speaker 8: Really Yeah, and when I say that yesterday's game was
- 19:47Speaker 8: at a perfect time at three pm yesterday you brought
- 19:52Speaker 8: two heavy weight program. Don't get no bigger then the
- 20:01Speaker 8: mighty Yukon.
- 20:02Speaker 7: And should we just start calling them? What was that
- 20:06Speaker 7: their seventeenth national championship?
- 20:09Speaker 3: That was there?
- 20:09Speaker 7: Twelve twelve national They've been in the final four about
- 20:14Speaker 7: twenty four times. It was their first nine years. It
- 20:20Speaker 7: has it been nine years since they won the last one? Uh,
- 20:24Speaker 7: I'm not sure if it's been that long that that
- 20:26Speaker 7: sounds like it's too long that that was their last.
- 20:29Speaker 8: We have the new kids on the block in the
- 20:33Speaker 8: last decade, nobody has been more dominant than the game
- 20:36Speaker 8: Cocks out of South Carolina. Yeah, I mean we're talking
- 20:39Speaker 8: about the players. Their league players are have been back
- 20:46Speaker 8: and forth. Brianna Stewart and Asia Wilson been back and
- 20:50Speaker 8: forth on the MVP. Who's the best? Who wants it?
- 20:54Speaker 8: You know, I'm saying that these it doesn't get any bigger.
- 20:59Speaker 8: You maybe find someone that sweeze in there sometimes like
- 21:02Speaker 8: Tennessee or something like that. But these are the two
- 21:05Speaker 8: programs and watch them go at it at three o'clock
- 21:09Speaker 8: yesterday with the Marquee player outside of Juju Watkins, Paige
- 21:14Speaker 8: Bickers and then on the other side, South Carolina just winning.
- 21:20Speaker 8: But they won like or three of the last maybe
- 21:23Speaker 8: what six or something like something like that.
- 21:26Speaker 3: Yesterday's timing I thought was perfect. It was perfect.
- 21:29Speaker 7: It was perfect because when I got a chance to.
- 21:33Speaker 3: That's why I was talking about ratings.
- 21:35Speaker 7: Yeah, I missed a lot of the Auburn game, and
- 21:38Speaker 7: I only saw the last half of the Duke Houston
- 21:42Speaker 7: game because I was working that night. And I thought
- 21:45Speaker 7: it was crazy that even after I got home from
- 21:47Speaker 7: a show, the Duke Houston.
- 21:48Speaker 3: Game was still on, Like what is the it was?
- 21:51Speaker 7: You know, because I'm doing comedy, so it showed it
- 21:53Speaker 7: in until about eleven thirty.
- 21:55Speaker 3: I get home.
- 21:55Speaker 7: It's past midnight, and I went, man, I missed all
- 21:58Speaker 7: Tonight's back.
- 21:59Speaker 3: Is it still a home?
- 22:00Speaker 7: And I remember saying to myself, like, I'm glad to
- 22:02Speaker 7: catch the last bit, but this doesn't seem right, Like
- 22:05Speaker 7: it's midnight and basketball is this doesn't seem right. And
- 22:09Speaker 7: so Sunday resting watching the game, this is perfect. Everybody's
- 22:15Speaker 7: got time. There's no rush to get anything done. I
- 22:18Speaker 7: don't have anything I need to rush to afterwards. Why
- 22:21Speaker 7: won't they do that with something like at least give
- 22:24Speaker 7: us a seven clock.
- 22:25Speaker 8: I think they've gotten into this tradition of they're going
- 22:29Speaker 8: to play it on a Monday and Monday night, and
- 22:33Speaker 8: they have just gotten stuck right there.
- 22:35Speaker 3: Me, I would switch everything up a day, would I would?
- 22:39Speaker 3: You know?
- 22:39Speaker 8: I would see if the girls, excuse me, the women
- 22:42Speaker 8: can go Thursday and Saturday.
- 22:45Speaker 7: And the man can go Friday, Sunday and Monday. We
- 22:50Speaker 7: can all watch the news or something. I don't know
- 22:53Speaker 7: what we would do with the time, but it'd be
- 22:55Speaker 7: better than trying to stay up till eleven forty.
- 22:58Speaker 8: Five for two teams that have really no actual interesting and.
- 23:02Speaker 7: They're in the final the National champions in game.
- 23:07Speaker 8: Walter Clayton Junior is probably the most popular player between
- 23:12Speaker 8: the two teams, and we.
- 23:14Speaker 7: Just heard of him right now. I'm not talking about today.
- 23:18Speaker 7: I'm talking about right when you said walk to Clayton Junr.
- 23:20Speaker 7: I was like, what this guy got to do with anything?
- 23:22Speaker 7: And he's a player for Florida. There we go, learn
- 23:27Speaker 7: something new every day and we'll be back.
- 23:31Speaker 9: Friends been since they said the twenty five deep in
- 23:35Speaker 9: the same section, I'm on, fuck you off head may.
- 23:40Speaker 6: Jn't go awayne board of the Sports Johns Hill with
- 23:43Speaker 6: Wayne Gandy is coming up next.
- 23:46Speaker 16: Oh bra, that's buzzed.
- 23:48Speaker 3: Oh yeah yeah, he's starting with the woots.
- 23:52Speaker 1: And now a speech.
- 23:53Speaker 3: I just want to say that friendship is about heart
- 23:57Speaker 3: art and ray who's with me?
- 24:00Speaker 10: Good thing is he knows when he's buzzed, and my
- 24:02Speaker 10: brain is saying, when it's time to go home, somebody
- 24:05Speaker 10: call me a ride.
- 24:06Speaker 17: Love that guy, me too, know your buzzed warning signs,
- 24:10Speaker 17: call for a ride when it's time to go home.
- 24:12Speaker 1: Buzz driving is drunk driving. A message from NITZA and

- 25:58Speaker 3: In the red zone.
- 26:22Speaker 17: Even though my life on the.
- 26:24Speaker 8: Road, Welcome back to the sport shop shops, the sport
- 26:27Speaker 8: Shock Wing Ganty. The Yukon Huskies the women's championship national
- 26:32Speaker 8: champions for this season eighty two fifty nine over Carolina
- 26:38Speaker 8: South Carolina.
- 26:39Speaker 3: Game was never in question, Coachino or Ima.
- 26:46Speaker 8: I imagine at seventy two and winning this championship would
- 26:53Speaker 8: have went home. But when you're at the next big thing,
- 26:57Speaker 8: I can't say that.
- 26:58Speaker 3: Enough, Sarah.
- 26:59Speaker 8: Since she's already here, I might as well stay. Kind
- 27:03Speaker 8: of situation. Right in that kind of I was gonna retire.
- 27:07Speaker 8: But since since this young lady is here.
- 27:10Speaker 3: Now now, now see and how you do it?
- 27:15Speaker 7: Now? Old folk call that greed, greed, And I'm just saying,
- 27:21Speaker 7: I know o folks call it greed because every time
- 27:23Speaker 7: I do it, they go, boy, you know you being greedy?
- 27:25Speaker 7: Because I'm not going to walk away from the sure thing.
- 27:30Speaker 7: My dice got seven on all sides.
- 27:33Speaker 3: I'm gonna roll. You see what I'm saying. How ye'll
- 27:36Speaker 3: see how I go.
- 27:37Speaker 7: Let's see, I might hit a seven, see, and he's
- 27:41Speaker 7: got what could be his until I retire, win national
- 27:46Speaker 7: championships player already with the experience she's even as a freshman,
- 27:53Speaker 7: she performed like she'd been here before. So just imagine
- 27:56Speaker 7: her having been here before and getting on the court.
- 27:59Speaker 7: It be to have to walk away, Yeah, it's gonna
- 28:02Speaker 7: be and hand that over to who.
- 28:05Speaker 8: I would love for them to hand it over to
- 28:10Speaker 8: either someone that's already on the coaching staff. But all
- 28:13Speaker 8: those women look like they were just gonna lead with Gino.
- 28:16Speaker 8: With Gino, yeah, because.
- 28:18Speaker 3: They've all, I know, one of them been there the
- 28:20Speaker 3: whole time Gino has been there.
- 28:22Speaker 7: Yeah, Chris Daly, I just remember that she's been She's
- 28:24Speaker 7: been there for as long as he's been there the
- 28:27Speaker 7: forty years.
- 28:27Speaker 8: That was his first hire. She was youngest, a young lady,
- 28:30Speaker 8: but she was the woman that had on the white pants.
- 28:34Speaker 8: Yet I know she's and the other two assistants, the
- 28:38Speaker 8: ones one of them had the coin rolls. They've been
- 28:41Speaker 8: there at least since Maya Moore, right, something that's been
- 28:48Speaker 8: so for the how they are doing things to mean,
- 28:53Speaker 8: their best bet is to see if one of the
- 28:56Speaker 8: assistant coaches want to be the head coach. Just keep
- 28:59Speaker 8: the the model going. Try, you know, kind of like
- 29:03Speaker 8: the Patriots are trying. The Patriots are trying wither Rod Mayo.
- 29:08Speaker 8: Now they got Mike Vrabel. Uh, they're trying to keep
- 29:12Speaker 8: it in the same That don't mean you're not gonna
- 29:14Speaker 8: tweak because you're you're never the exact person as the
- 29:17Speaker 8: person that you are. But but they have the people
- 29:22Speaker 8: like a Maya Moore and think about think think about
- 29:25Speaker 8: in today's society, but how we've made this. Who's going
- 29:30Speaker 8: to fight you at Yukon if you tell them we're
- 29:34Speaker 8: gonna make my more the next head coach or super.
- 29:38Speaker 7: Bird and I was, or yeah, who's gonna come down there?
- 29:42Speaker 7: Like dang dang, get mister big Kenny, You don't. You
- 29:46Speaker 7: don't this is what we're talking about. You don't think
- 29:49Speaker 7: that in all of Gino's success and as many times
- 29:54Speaker 7: as they've done this, there's not a ongoing meeting of
- 30:00Speaker 7: Yukon people sitting around the big table like I think
- 30:04Speaker 7: it should be Maya in twenty twenty eight, and they've
- 30:07Speaker 7: already got it mapped out, Like you know, you're going
- 30:10Speaker 7: to step down after two national championships in a row,
- 30:14Speaker 7: and it just seems like this would already be especially
- 30:17Speaker 7: with the landscape now. All you have to have is
- 30:19Speaker 7: the name. But these people have got everything, the connection right,
- 30:24Speaker 7: they got the pedigree right, they got all the boxes
- 30:27Speaker 7: are checked. Give it to jarassee. You could even ask
- 30:31Speaker 7: Rebecca Rope, Rebecca Lobo who was at the time.
- 30:36Speaker 3: She was there.
- 30:37Speaker 8: They won like Ford championships in a row in a row.
- 30:40Speaker 8: She has been to the w NBA, they've all Olympics, Olympics,
- 30:45Speaker 8: all of that.
- 30:46Speaker 3: That's the Hall of fame already.
- 30:48Speaker 7: And she's been commentating, been around the game to have that, Hey,
- 30:54Speaker 7: why wouldn't she?
- 30:54Speaker 3: Would you come coach, because surely you don't.
- 30:57Speaker 7: Have a commentating bug still pitching you somewhere.
- 31:01Speaker 3: Just coach to Brianna Stewart retire and then we'll let her.
- 31:06Speaker 7: And those are the people at the table just until
- 31:09Speaker 7: Brianna retires and then you can step down.
- 31:14Speaker 8: But they have the for how this landscape of recruiting
- 31:19Speaker 8: and n I l they have names as big as anything.
- 31:24Speaker 8: And we're talking about people who actually played the game
- 31:27Speaker 8: from a style as though they were coaches. Like point guards.
- 31:33Speaker 8: You know, people love the higher point guard. That's what
- 31:35Speaker 8: Don Staley was, superb. Diana Tarassi, may Moore, all these
- 31:40Speaker 8: young ladies were point and I'm quite sure we're missing
- 31:42Speaker 8: over someone. But these are the people I would try
- 31:45Speaker 8: to go get uh to bring into my program. Look
- 31:48Speaker 8: how Carol Losson has turned Duke around.
- 31:52Speaker 7: Because Tennessee, Yeah, can you imagine that being like there
- 31:57Speaker 7: as long as Gino has been there and then taking
- 32:00Speaker 7: another job at the same you know, like, Okay, now
- 32:03Speaker 7: I'm head coach. I've been here forty seven years, but
- 32:06Speaker 7: now I'm going to lead them into the future.
- 32:08Speaker 3: Now that doesn't seem.
- 32:10Speaker 8: Vladimir, speaking of the future, Vladimir Guerrero Junior has signed
- 32:15Speaker 8: a unthinkable amount of money contract for Toronto. But money,
- 32:22Speaker 8: as I have told you, is just a function of
- 32:26Speaker 8: TV rights and right now, sports is what the world
- 32:31Speaker 8: likes to watch. It is what the world likes to consume,
- 32:38Speaker 8: and unfortunately it's not. Unfortunately Fortunately, I'm old enough to
- 32:43Speaker 8: have seen a world where when I was ten twelve,
- 32:49Speaker 8: the government had people's consciousness, and then that rolled over
- 32:56Speaker 8: to being twenty where the religious leaders.
- 33:00Speaker 7: Yeah, all had the if you listen the boys something
- 33:06Speaker 7: they had, Yes.
- 33:09Speaker 8: I do when they had this, and then music and
- 33:13Speaker 8: it seemed like music in Hollywood had the stick about
- 33:17Speaker 8: what the when you got to what age?
- 33:20Speaker 3: Maybe maybe about thirty?
- 33:23Speaker 7: Yeah, they had Now money take it over for the
- 33:26Speaker 7: nine nine and everything is rolled into the sports.
- 33:33Speaker 3: It's in all the advertising. People go to get a
- 33:37Speaker 3: camera shot.
- 33:39Speaker 7: It is.
- 33:39Speaker 3: You know.
- 33:40Speaker 8: When I was looking, they were saying the the FBI,
- 33:43Speaker 8: the head of the FBI was at the hockey game
- 33:47Speaker 8: the other night with Wayne Gretzky cash patail when Alex
- 33:52Speaker 8: Ovechen broke the record, and everybody's like.
- 33:55Speaker 3: Why is he there?
- 33:56Speaker 7: Because that's where doing the world goes. He's doing some
- 34:00Speaker 7: Valens and old Vetchkin. I know the other Russians are
- 34:02Speaker 7: gonna be. That's where the world goes.
- 34:04Speaker 8: That's where the entertainment worlds publicists send them, Yeah, go
- 34:10Speaker 8: to this, go to that, go to the super Bowl,
- 34:12Speaker 8: get you it. Just I don't care whether you like
- 34:14Speaker 8: the sport or understand it or anything. It just seems
- 34:18Speaker 8: to be the world where that is going. But with
- 34:20Speaker 8: Vladimir Guerrero and the money, that's just a function of
- 34:23Speaker 8: baseball contracts things like that. My thing I wanted to
- 34:27Speaker 8: talk about, guys with you is the length of these contracts.
- 34:33Speaker 7: Why do you think baseball will the power to be
- 34:38Speaker 7: takes these gambles. Vladimir signed a fourteen year deal and
- 34:45Speaker 7: he's nobody really is who they are in fourteen. In fourteen,
- 34:52Speaker 7: I don't even know if I'll be alive in fourteen,
- 34:55Speaker 7: That's what I'm saying. That what I'm saying, I mean,
- 34:57Speaker 7: Vladimir Guerrero's how right now? Seventy two seventy three years old?
- 35:00Speaker 1: No, no, no, that's his dad.
- 35:01Speaker 3: This is junior.
- 35:03Speaker 7: So he's what forty seventy forty eight years old, you
- 35:05Speaker 7: know what I'm saying. So even juniors like forty nine,
- 35:08Speaker 7: like twenty six, that's a close. Yeah, And so in fourteen,
- 35:13Speaker 7: and they're the only sport that goes with this lens.
- 35:16Speaker 7: When you look at the other major sports here, five
- 35:22Speaker 7: six years is a long deal. Yeah, in basketball and football,
- 35:30Speaker 7: you don't hear when we say a contract. These guys
- 35:33Speaker 7: are signing four or five year deal and now whatever
- 35:35Speaker 7: amount of jack this is fourteen I jokingly said all
- 35:40Speaker 7: the time, but I make jokes about money laundering. But
- 35:44Speaker 7: looking fourteen years, man, we could cook a lot of books.
- 35:47Speaker 7: We can move a lot of money around. You don't
- 35:49Speaker 7: even know what happened to the money in twenty twenty five.
- 35:52Speaker 7: Were talking about twenty thirty one, right now, what do
- 35:54Speaker 7: you and then you put I thought there was eighty
- 35:56Speaker 7: two million, but no, that's once seventy three. But no,
- 35:58Speaker 7: we only got half of that. And then there's a
- 36:00Speaker 7: percentage that we're going to back end that and before
- 36:02Speaker 7: you know it, we didn't clean sixty billion.
- 36:04Speaker 8: Dollars the commands you, Greg McKinny finishes dogwhea, what did
- 36:08Speaker 8: it said?
- 36:08Speaker 7: I think it isn't in effect of the contracts being guaranteed.
- 36:13Speaker 7: Like in baseball, whatever you signed for, that's what you're
- 36:17Speaker 7: going to get paid, no matter what.
- 36:19Speaker 3: It may not be.
- 36:20Speaker 7: Even through all those fourteen years, or there's or they
- 36:25Speaker 7: may not have paid all of it by the end
- 36:27Speaker 7: of the fourteen years. But whatever's left over we got
- 36:29Speaker 7: still paid. They're still going to get that money. And
- 36:32Speaker 7: that's what I'm saying.
- 36:33Speaker 8: I'm not talking about the money, right, I'm talking about
- 36:36Speaker 8: the part where you jac a player and you sign
- 36:39Speaker 8: him for fourteen years.
- 36:43Speaker 3: And then he goes through.
- 36:44Speaker 7: And we've seen Albert Pujols, We've saw a raw that
- 36:53Speaker 7: after they about five of those years, they had six left.
- 36:58Speaker 8: They was just guy, solid, silent. They were no longer
- 37:05Speaker 8: even the star of the team at that point. And
- 37:10Speaker 8: these teams were caught on those deals. It's just interesting
- 37:14Speaker 8: to see a difference where the NFL and Patrick Mahomes
- 37:19Speaker 8: can't get a fourteen year deal. He can't either, will
- 37:23Speaker 8: they He would want a fourteen year deal.
- 37:26Speaker 3: Most careers are I'm saying, in these other sports, most
- 37:32Speaker 3: of the.
- 37:32Speaker 7: Careers don't last as long as baseball contracts are made
- 37:36Speaker 7: out for.
- 37:37Speaker 8: And that's why most sports are trying to taper, win
- 37:40Speaker 8: and wear and hit that sweet spot when you do
- 37:43Speaker 8: fall off, so they can offer you at least. I'm
- 37:48Speaker 8: not saying he is not wrong from signing it. I'm
- 37:51Speaker 8: not talking about Flad. I'm talking about the organizations or
- 37:54Speaker 8: any team that would. I know you're saying, oh, I
- 37:57Speaker 8: sold my star player up forever, but seven years he's.
- 38:03Speaker 7: Just gonna be blad You Beer's gonna.
- 38:07Speaker 3: Be j.
- 38:10Speaker 7: You think him and his dad have conversations like I
- 38:12Speaker 7: broke the bank one time too.
- 38:15Speaker 3: You don't know nothing about baseball. We'll be back more
- 38:17Speaker 3: to Sports Jock Show right after this. Get you expected

- 41:26Speaker 3: wainn ganny. Good morning to you out there and listening land.
- 41:29Speaker 8: We were just talking about just that Major League Baseball,
- 41:33Speaker 8: the teams, the franchises as they are to still be
- 41:37Speaker 8: offering these long Vladimir Guerrero Junior just signed fourteen years,
- 41:44Speaker 8: five hundred million dollars. We're not talking about the function
- 41:47Speaker 8: of the money. We've seen baseball players now, even basketball
- 41:51Speaker 8: and football players now. Some of these guys, especially quarterbbacks,
- 41:55Speaker 8: can pocket forty to fifty million dollars per year. We're
- 41:58Speaker 8: talking about the idea of signing someone to a fourteen
- 42:02Speaker 8: year deal. We were laughing there doing the break, just
- 42:05Speaker 8: that Travis Hunter and cam Wood, Chaduur Sanders all to
- 42:10Speaker 8: get drafted here in about two weeks. It's more likely
- 42:15Speaker 8: in the fourteen years that Vlad is under contract that
- 42:18Speaker 8: at least two of those guys will be retired. Travis
- 42:22Speaker 8: Hunter would get drafted in two weeks. Have a whole grid.
- 42:25Speaker 8: That's a long career for cornerback. Yea fourteen years. Dion
- 42:29Speaker 8: gave you about twelve somewhere in there, thirteen about that
- 42:32Speaker 8: amount of time they would be on got drafted, retired,
- 42:38Speaker 8: cam Wood most likely, or Shouduur one of them. Flip
- 42:42Speaker 8: a coin of which we'll have the longer. But we
- 42:45Speaker 8: see now guys get drafted top ten seven years later,
- 42:50Speaker 8: they are at the broadcast desk with the Big ten network,
- 42:56Speaker 8: the ACC.
- 42:58Speaker 3: You'd be thinking at those guys, lady, those guys be
- 43:03Speaker 3: sitting there, you thinking, you know they only thirty four? Yeah,
- 43:07Speaker 3: like they man was no, And I'm not guessing that
- 43:11Speaker 3: on them.
- 43:12Speaker 7: I'm saying, I'm just saying the length of that country
- 43:14Speaker 7: who played fifteen years, So you're saying you signed this
- 43:18Speaker 7: man for his whole career. Tim Tebow that's who I'm
- 43:21Speaker 7: thinking about, Tim Tebow. Tim Tebow so just a long
- 43:25Speaker 7: and we've seen it not really turn out. It's where
- 43:29Speaker 7: the last maybe six to eight of those years, they
- 43:32Speaker 7: were just good players, not great players anymore. They were
- 43:36Speaker 7: just good players.
- 43:37Speaker 8: And as I told you, someone like an albut Pujos
- 43:41Speaker 8: wasn't even a full time starter anymore.
- 43:43Speaker 3: And think about it, he was a D eight.
- 43:45Speaker 7: Some of these organizations may have front office people in
- 43:50Speaker 7: that time that's changed, and I'm sure they're sitting there
- 43:54Speaker 7: signing those checks, like why are we paying him?
- 43:57Speaker 3: Like I've never seen it.
- 43:59Speaker 7: Like they're there's no salary cap, Like okay, yeah, we'll
- 44:02Speaker 7: still be paying him, you know, fifty million dollars in
- 44:06Speaker 7: twelve thirteen years, but we'll have enough where we could
- 44:10Speaker 7: pay somebody else fifty million dollars if you know, even
- 44:12Speaker 7: if they're better.
- 44:13Speaker 3: And we got it.
- 44:14Speaker 8: And this the psychological part of this is the settlement
- 44:19Speaker 8: of the mind. You have to be very careful with
- 44:23Speaker 8: any athlete, no matter how great they are, that their
- 44:27Speaker 8: goals or achievement are not twinched, because it's easy to
- 44:33Speaker 8: go sign this and kind of lay up when you start.
- 44:39Speaker 8: When that fatigue or life start happening. I don't know
- 44:42Speaker 8: if he's married or got kids or whatever, but when
- 44:45Speaker 8: that part of life starts happening, if you got a
- 44:50Speaker 8: contract to fight for your motivation state, but being settled
- 44:54Speaker 8: were good, Yeah, we're good.
- 44:57Speaker 7: We'll just and now my being good, Mike lost problems
- 45:00Speaker 7: in my personal life.
- 45:02Speaker 8: So we will see how this goes. The Great Julio
- 45:04Speaker 8: Jones has announced that he has returned. Speaking of fourteen years,
- 45:07Speaker 8: he's only played thirteen years in the NFL. Put a
- 45:11Speaker 8: Hall of Fame career enough here in Atlanta where he
- 45:17Speaker 8: spent what nine of those years? Yes, I would say
- 45:22Speaker 8: it was like nine of those years. He left here,
- 45:24Speaker 8: went to Tennessee, Tampa.
- 45:28Speaker 1: And.
- 45:30Speaker 3: Was he at Philadelphia last years? I think last time three? Yeah,
- 45:38Speaker 3: I think he went to Tennessee for two years.
- 45:41Speaker 7: Tennessee for one year, went to Tampa for one year.
- 45:43Speaker 7: So it was ten years with the Falcons. Ten years
- 45:46Speaker 7: with Falcons, okay, but be put together a Hall of
- 45:49Speaker 7: Fame career? Is Julio really just a guy that the
- 45:55Speaker 7: injury bug, as we've talked about, was one of the things.
- 45:59Speaker 7: Really the only knock was will Julio be there to
- 46:01Speaker 7: play right? Kind of thing, and it was always much
- 46:05Speaker 7: the injury. It was always his toe too. Yeah, it
- 46:08Speaker 7: became one of those kinds of things. So I would
- 46:10Speaker 7: be surprised if you looked at those thirteen years. He
- 46:13Speaker 7: probably had maybe three we made it, maybe had played
- 46:18Speaker 7: the whole all the games, but that's how frequent he would.
- 46:23Speaker 7: He would play five games, as told Hurt, he'd be
- 46:25Speaker 7: out to and then he played four games and that
- 46:28Speaker 7: kind of thing. But no question he will be in
- 46:33Speaker 7: the Hall of Fame in five years.
- 46:36Speaker 8: Atlanta Staple, I mean Julio and Roddy White. I can't
- 46:42Speaker 8: think of any two receivers better than them for the franchise.
- 46:46Speaker 3: Every he put up some numbers.
- 46:49Speaker 8: I mean they both. Roddy was here his whole career,
- 46:53Speaker 8: which was like twelve years. Julio was here ten. Anything
- 46:58Speaker 8: else that came through great mostly was short term, like
- 47:01Speaker 8: two three years. They left like an Andrea rising, which
- 47:05Speaker 8: I still don't know why bad Moon doesn't seem to
- 47:09Speaker 8: be on the table. I have to look at his numbers.
- 47:12Speaker 8: But he was just a guy.
- 47:13Speaker 7: Bad Moon was like to me, like a lean swan.
- 47:17Speaker 7: It wasn't necessarily about the amount. It was just he
- 47:22Speaker 7: made plays. So you might be able to tell me, oh,
- 47:24Speaker 7: well he never had a thousand receptions, you know, whatever
- 47:28Speaker 7: you want to come up. But it seems like it
- 47:31Speaker 7: was more like a Michael Irving type where Mike's numbers
- 47:35Speaker 7: wasn't they were not set to be gotdyeh because that's
- 47:40Speaker 7: not the system. That's not system. But for the system,
- 47:43Speaker 7: they were Gotti, but they were not meant to be.
- 47:46Speaker 7: They're not in a system.
- 47:48Speaker 8: When we get inside the eight, you know what time
- 47:51Speaker 8: it is, number twenty two, everybody in the stadium know
- 47:55Speaker 8: to play.
- 47:55Speaker 3: It's almost like the push. It was just forty two
- 47:58Speaker 3: back here right.
- 47:59Speaker 8: That's why it got like five thousand touchdowns because they
- 48:02Speaker 8: were when they got down there, they ain't throwing no fades.
- 48:05Speaker 8: I ain't throwing no slants, ain't number twenty two, And
- 48:13Speaker 8: wasn't he at one point.
- 48:14Speaker 7: At least he might still be a league leader in
- 48:17Speaker 7: touchdown rush touchdowns.
- 48:19Speaker 3: Yes, yeah, So we'll be back with more than sports

- 52:16Speaker 8: something like that, in the final four. So they're either
- 52:20Speaker 8: winning it, playing for it, or just barely missing it
- 52:26Speaker 8: is Yukon Page beckers an Another icon for Yukon, Sarah Strong,
- 52:32Speaker 8: the young freshman Azy Fudd won the Final four MVP.
- 52:38Speaker 8: You decided to come back next year, so you put
- 52:41Speaker 8: her Sarah Strong. And I'm quite sure they got one
- 52:44Speaker 8: of the top two or three players in the country
- 52:47Speaker 8: coming there, one of those kind of things we just
- 52:50Speaker 8: don't know their name yet, right, right?
- 52:53Speaker 7: Do you think that a lot of why we don't
- 52:55Speaker 7: know their names is because they won't announce that we've
- 52:58Speaker 7: got one of the top two with three players in
- 53:00Speaker 7: the country coming here, because now we're not really sure
- 53:03Speaker 7: if they're going to stay.
- 53:03Speaker 3: The entire time. You want to put that brand out there.
- 53:08Speaker 7: What I'm saying, you might be coming here in twenty
- 53:11Speaker 7: twenty seven and before you know it, end up at
- 53:13Speaker 7: South Carolina.
- 53:15Speaker 3: I know Greg sent a story.
- 53:19Speaker 7: Kind of centering around that, right Greg the former or
- 53:23Speaker 7: coach Ad Mickey Joseph. Yeah, I think he's the current
- 53:29Speaker 7: coach at Grambling and he used to he was the
- 53:33Speaker 7: interim coach for Nebraska. But he's saying that there should
- 53:38Speaker 7: be buyouts for players that transfer, and also that coaches
- 53:45Speaker 7: should get like, if you're leaving this coach, that coach
- 53:50Speaker 7: should get get a kick back from the school that
- 53:52Speaker 7: he's tran that the guy is transferring to.
- 53:56Speaker 8: Right, So he's trying to come up with some kind
- 53:58Speaker 8: of system where the school gets compensated, Yes, in some.
- 54:03Speaker 7: Type of way, because otherwise we're just taking an al
- 54:08Speaker 7: correct I've asked about that. I've asked about that in
- 54:13Speaker 7: this new dynamic. I was having this conversation recently with
- 54:17Speaker 7: someone about what does my school do if I've invested
- 54:22Speaker 7: time and resources into bringing you here? And my example
- 54:27Speaker 7: was the conversation we had about the student leaving in
- 54:30Speaker 7: the middle of the night and telling his position coach
- 54:33Speaker 7: that he was leading or texting his position coach that
- 54:36Speaker 7: he was transferring, and the position coach later relaying that
- 54:40Speaker 7: information to the head coach. When the head coach noticed
- 54:43Speaker 7: that he wasn't in practice, like where's our starting running back? Oh,
- 54:47Speaker 7: he texts me that he transferred to whether Maryland or
- 54:50Speaker 7: something like that, or transferred from and what do we do.
- 54:54Speaker 7: We still got an apartment rented out for this kid,
- 54:57Speaker 7: so well, unfortunately it has to go to this And
- 55:00Speaker 7: that's the thing where I guess you just got to
- 55:04Speaker 7: get comfortable with college sports being some kind of pro
- 55:09Speaker 7: I know, I've always said that in people it comes
- 55:11Speaker 7: off like I'm being tongue in cheek about it, like
- 55:14Speaker 7: oh no, but it's there is no in between. No,
- 55:19Speaker 7: because in the pro scale, you can't just come take
- 55:22Speaker 7: my player. First of all, you can't even.
- 55:24Speaker 3: Just talk to him. Right there we go, we start
- 55:27Speaker 3: with you can't we call that tampering.
- 55:30Speaker 7: You can't say to me in the off season, Man,
- 55:33Speaker 7: I got a better scheme for you out there in Chicago.
- 55:36Speaker 3: What did you It can't just be the coach of
- 55:41Speaker 3: the school. Has got to be a friend of a.
- 55:44Speaker 7: Fing I'm saying, but in professional sports, your middle men nobody.
- 55:50Speaker 7: You can't be sitting I can't be sitting with my
- 55:52Speaker 7: wife as the owner of a team and she go, oh, show, hey, man,
- 55:57Speaker 7: you're a great player. We'd love you in Arizona and
- 56:01Speaker 7: a seven hundred million dollar fine, I got three draft picks.
- 56:04Speaker 7: I gotta give up until the next you know, it's
- 56:07Speaker 7: just like no, that's okay, though, No, it's but MADDI
- 56:12Speaker 7: justin Magic Johnson got fine. He worked for the team.
- 56:16Speaker 7: Magic does it worked for the team. He's a part owner,
- 56:18Speaker 7: he is the president.
- 56:19Speaker 3: He can't he can't do that. But I'm telling you
- 56:23Speaker 3: able to say, no, there they are. They're not doing
- 56:26Speaker 3: anything with the Lakers.
- 56:29Speaker 7: And if that's all anyone associated with with with the
- 56:32Speaker 7: team talking to you, but I can call you. Why
- 56:36Speaker 7: you on the sidelines, bruh. I just saw that play,
- 56:39Speaker 7: and all I'm saying is I would have done better
- 56:41Speaker 7: with you if you'd have been here. Are you serious, coach?
- 56:44Speaker 7: Come on and let's see. And then at halftime, you
- 56:47Speaker 7: don't even run out of the tunnel. You on your
- 56:49Speaker 7: way to the airport to catch another plane. And you
- 56:52Speaker 7: played the first three quarters from my university. Then you
- 56:55Speaker 7: played the last half of your season for another university.
- 56:58Speaker 7: And that's really happy right now. And we're talking about
- 57:03Speaker 7: tens of millions of dollars exchanging.
- 57:05Speaker 8: And that's why I said, the only way to make
- 57:07Speaker 8: it fully fair is you have to start going in
- 57:10Speaker 8: a pro just like they have when they decided to
- 57:13Speaker 8: stop talking about letter intent and now guys signed contracts.
- 57:18Speaker 8: Now your next step is to get unionized. You got
- 57:21Speaker 8: to start offering some kind of full one K, some
- 57:24Speaker 8: kind of insurance. Stop this college go to class stuff,
- 57:28Speaker 8: and then you can implement rules of how to handle
- 57:31Speaker 8: what really you're calling transfer portal is really free agency
- 57:37Speaker 8: without restricts. Having restrictions, that's it. You're just having free
- 57:44Speaker 8: agency and you're bouncing around. This school has no because
- 57:49Speaker 8: this is you know, most of what all this is
- 57:52Speaker 8: is some get back for those people who thought one
- 57:56Speaker 8: hundred years ago people should get paid right now. It's like,
- 58:01Speaker 8: you know how you're like what is called over correction
- 58:06Speaker 8: most things in life, that's what happens. Something bad happens.
- 58:10Speaker 8: Most people go all the way. They can't just stop
- 58:12Speaker 8: in the middle. They pave them him that don't let
- 58:18Speaker 8: them transfer. That's crazy. I wouldn't let none listen to
- 58:22Speaker 8: those people. Let them be free. And some coaches, like
- 58:26Speaker 8: we said Nick Saban, I know the basketball coach up
- 58:30Speaker 8: in maybe Saint John somewhere up there, he said he
- 58:35Speaker 8: didn't want to coach anymore because they didn't want to
- 58:39Speaker 8: coach basically pro pretend college athletes. And some coaches are
- 58:45Speaker 8: that way. They just want to coach from what the
- 58:47Speaker 8: college format brings. They don't want to handle. And we've
- 58:51Speaker 8: seen we've seen people fail. We've seen guys come from
- 58:54Speaker 8: college and go to pro. We've seen pro coaches try
- 58:57Speaker 8: to go to college and if that ain't your style,
- 59:00Speaker 8: that ain't your style.
- 59:01Speaker 3: Now, yeah, it's a Those are two different They're really
- 59:04Speaker 3: two different worlds.
- 59:05Speaker 7: Two different kinds of worlds. And Nick Saban didn't want
- 59:08Speaker 7: to try to be heah, this ain't that.
- 59:10Speaker 3: That ain't this.
- 59:10Speaker 8: He wanted to be a college football coach, not a
- 59:14Speaker 8: pro coach. He went back with more than sports jock show.
- 59:16Speaker 8: Right after this, wait, la mother boots, snail the flock
- 59:21Speaker 8: and claw off. That's when I get sick. Quick fum off.

- 59:26Speaker 1: I've been eating long enough.
- 59:27Speaker 3: Now shot and Dreaming's.

- 59:42Speaker 12: Most people out here think that taking care of one
- 59:44Speaker 12: another is important, and most people would step up for
- 59:48Speaker 12: a neighbor going through a tough time. Most people around
- 59:51Speaker 12: here help out friends and family when they need it.
- 59:53Speaker 12: But the funny thing is most of us won't look
- 59:56Speaker 12: for help when we need it. Talk to someone if
- 59:58Speaker 12: you're struggling with mental health, because most people out here

- 1:00:12Speaker 25: I never realized that I'd be taking care of a
- 1:00:15Speaker 25: two year old and a nine year old on my own.
- 1:00:18Speaker 25: I think men can be a little stubborn sometimes, where
- 1:00:21Speaker 25: pride gets in the way and they may want the help,
- 1:00:24Speaker 25: they may not know how to ask. With my traditions,
- 1:00:28Speaker 25: with the family support in line, and just with my
- 1:00:30Speaker 25: mind frame, I was able to turn a negative into
- 1:00:34Speaker 25: a positive. I knew I needed more tools on my
- 1:00:37Speaker 25: toolbox to take care of these little girls that just
- 1:00:41Speaker 25: lost their mother. It's time for me to be that
- 1:00:43Speaker 25: father that I knew I could be. I think just
- 1:00:46Speaker 25: being that good role model as well. That model's good
- 1:00:49Speaker 25: behavior in front of them, going to work every day,
- 1:00:52Speaker 25: coming home and being able to put on that smile.
- 1:00:55Speaker 25: The biggest reward about being a dad is sitting back
- 1:00:58Speaker 25: and watching your kids.

- 1:01:38Speaker 27: Can you win me down?
- 1:01:39Speaker 3: Get you find me down? That council fun?
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: Council pet? Come to look? Is it just doing.
- 1:01:50Speaker 15: I'm doing b I'm gonna go on the.
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: Way, you may vegan, welcome back to this worstock show.
- 1:01:56Speaker 7: I'm this worshock Wayne Candy, Good morning till your commands.
- 1:01:59Speaker 7: Your Greg been Kenny in the studio this beautiful Monday morning.
- 1:02:04Speaker 7: Even though outside the sun is behind the clouds. The
- 1:02:07Speaker 7: clouds have been drenching us with some water for the light.
- 1:02:11Speaker 7: That's called rain for the last day and a half
- 1:02:15Speaker 7: and we're enjoying it. Thank you for everybody here in
- 1:02:20Speaker 7: Atlanta area.
- 1:02:22Speaker 8: They don't want the trees and the limbs to fall,
- 1:02:25Speaker 8: but they have been rain dancing to get some of
- 1:02:28Speaker 8: this pollen out of the air down here.
- 1:02:31Speaker 3: Do you ever take the grak? Anybody got a problem
- 1:02:34Speaker 3: with the rain?
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: No?
- 1:02:36Speaker 7: No, I was gonna ask, does anybody ever does anybody
- 1:02:39Speaker 7: ever do that thing that I do When it rains
- 1:02:41Speaker 7: and you know it's gonna clean the pollen, where you
- 1:02:43Speaker 7: go outside and just watch the big pools of yellow
- 1:02:46Speaker 7: pollen go down the drain. You just stand around and
- 1:02:50Speaker 7: kind of taunt it, like that's what you get. Take
- 1:02:53Speaker 7: that poling. I bet you won't be back for two days.
- 1:02:57Speaker 7: And it's just I mean literally the streets. You could
- 1:03:00Speaker 7: see them with the rivers of yellow water just going down.
- 1:03:04Speaker 7: I'm like, yeah, that's what you Yeah, you do see
- 1:03:07Speaker 7: it with a sense of man, man, I gotta get
- 1:03:12Speaker 7: some of this off.
- 1:03:12Speaker 3: These trees.
- 1:03:13Speaker 8: They just rain rain, rained, because you gotta knock it
- 1:03:16Speaker 8: down out of the air. Even though you know it's
- 1:03:18Speaker 8: still some trees. It's still gonna bloom, but it won't
- 1:03:21Speaker 8: be as heavy. That's why if you live here and
- 1:03:24Speaker 8: you watch your wash washed your car about three weeks ago,
- 1:03:30Speaker 8: it instantly turned green again. But if you watch washed
- 1:03:35Speaker 8: it about two or three days ago, it just got dusted.
- 1:03:40Speaker 8: It wasn't really green.
- 1:03:42Speaker 7: Which I had that experience, washed the car and by
- 1:03:46Speaker 7: the time the tires got done, I finished doing my
- 1:03:49Speaker 7: little tires looked up and the car was all dusty, again,
- 1:03:53Speaker 7: and I was like, this is an exercise and futility.
- 1:03:55Speaker 3: I'm just out here getting exercise right now. I'm just
- 1:03:58Speaker 3: wasting my time.
- 1:04:00Speaker 7: On women winning the Women's Championship, pagebackers, Geno Arim and
- 1:04:06Speaker 7: that staff being done Statey and the game cots in
- 1:04:11Speaker 7: a game that I thought was going to be a
- 1:04:13Speaker 7: little tighter turned out to be a blowout tonight.
- 1:04:17Speaker 3: Eight fifty Listen, that's that's because fifty there's not.
- 1:04:25Speaker 7: Nine.
- 1:04:26Speaker 3: There's six hundred seconds and ten minutes? Correct? Is that correct? Yes?
- 1:04:31Speaker 7: And how many thirty second AD spots could we sell it?
- 1:04:35Speaker 7: Six hundred seconds? That's that's the only thing I can understand.
- 1:04:41Speaker 7: And then at nine o'clock, I think the rate change
- 1:04:44Speaker 7: is because it's more of a uh, prime time type event.
- 1:04:49Speaker 7: Only thing I could think of, guys, was maybe player introductions.
- 1:04:55Speaker 7: So the game to catch the player introductions, we need
- 1:05:00Speaker 7: start at eight fifty.
- 1:05:02Speaker 8: So the game starts at nine. I really really, the
- 1:05:07Speaker 8: game really starts at nine. I'm thinking maybe that little
- 1:05:10Speaker 8: ten minute window is for that, because I do know
- 1:05:15Speaker 8: this is the only time of year, like the Final Four,
- 1:05:18Speaker 8: where they show you the introduction of the players. So
- 1:05:23Speaker 8: I was thinking, Okay, maybe the game actually starts at nine,
- 1:05:27Speaker 8: but they're starting to telecast at eight point fifty to
- 1:05:30Speaker 8: put that part in.
- 1:05:33Speaker 7: We just hope it's something rational that's we just really
- 1:05:39Speaker 7: wanted to be something that makes sense.
- 1:05:41Speaker 8: Which is still a late game because with all advertising
- 1:05:44Speaker 8: and the way college goes, you're still looking at something
- 1:05:48Speaker 8: that probably will not end until eleven thirty PM. And
- 1:05:53Speaker 8: to me, it's just been so much more enjoyable if
- 1:05:57Speaker 8: this game happened yesterday at five.
- 1:06:00Speaker 3: Now, just what do you what do you find yourself
- 1:06:03Speaker 3: doing after you have?
- 1:06:05Speaker 29: You?
- 1:06:06Speaker 7: First of all, do you watch a lot of these
- 1:06:08Speaker 7: games till the end? Do they get to do you
- 1:06:11Speaker 7: actually see the end of the game?
- 1:06:14Speaker 3: I watched both final four games to the.
- 1:06:17Speaker 7: End, okay, and then after the final game went off,
- 1:06:21Speaker 7: it were you left with doing?
- 1:06:24Speaker 3: What was your process? Well?
- 1:06:27Speaker 8: Things like that you have you have to almost go home,
- 1:06:31Speaker 8: watch some movie you already watched about thirty times to
- 1:06:34Speaker 8: get your mind into sleep mode, compress because you're not
- 1:06:37Speaker 8: supposed to really watch actiony kind of stuff. Question and
- 1:06:44Speaker 8: asking provocative things that that's why you end up getting
- 1:06:50Speaker 8: hooked into a certain series because you keep watching twenties.
- 1:06:55Speaker 7: Now you're intrigued or Game of Thrones, and it keeps
- 1:06:59Speaker 7: pulling you, yeah, in your brain, cause if he didn't
- 1:07:02Speaker 7: shot three doctors at six oh two by six point
- 1:07:05Speaker 7: fifty three, it's gonna be really going down. You see
- 1:07:08Speaker 7: what I'm saying, Because there's just one hour on twenty four.
- 1:07:11Speaker 7: This is twenty four hours. They go hour hour. Can
- 1:07:16Speaker 7: you said we had a couple of comments from that
- 1:07:17Speaker 7: first hour? Oh yeah, we had some comments from first
- 1:07:20Speaker 7: hour from our loyal online listeners. We had Uncle Charlie, Uh, well, first,
- 1:07:29Speaker 7: when you mentioned that the bad producer wasn't here, Elder
- 1:07:31Speaker 7: Casey said, shots fired because everybody likes to take shots
- 1:07:35Speaker 7: a bad producers. Uncle Charlie said that, uh less than
- 1:07:41Speaker 7: hashtag percentage, greater than SEC Professional Conference. I think that's
- 1:07:47Speaker 7: an expletive, that bleep SEC Professional Conference. Doesn't make a difference.
- 1:07:54Speaker 7: Just destroy each other. Hated it, but it's a good morning, guys.
- 1:07:58Speaker 7: He's still sticking that in Michigan state law. That's that
- 1:08:02Speaker 7: Midwest pain right now. Elder Casey says, it's probably a
- 1:08:06Speaker 7: method to the madness when it comes to the Guerrero
- 1:08:09Speaker 7: Junior contracts, like those fourteen years, five hundred million dollars.
- 1:08:14Speaker 7: Surely they've got some sort of litmus test. I guess
- 1:08:19Speaker 7: that they give to make sure that all of that
- 1:08:23Speaker 7: stuff works. And then for the pollen, he says he
- 1:08:25Speaker 7: can just hear the pollen saying I'll be back. It'll
- 1:08:28Speaker 7: be back, coming back. It won't be back as it
- 1:08:32Speaker 7: was in the first movie. It won't be like shoutoukna.
- 1:08:37Speaker 7: It'll be helping next time.
- 1:08:39Speaker 8: Down in Louisiana elementary school basketball game, parents slaps principal.
- 1:08:50Speaker 8: It's on video if you need to see it. The
- 1:08:52Speaker 8: principal who was trying to control traffic of kids running
- 1:08:56Speaker 8: onto the court. One of the parents took exception to
- 1:09:00Speaker 8: maybe how she was handling it. Greg you saw the video.
- 1:09:04Speaker 8: It lapped her hard enough to send her to the hospital.
- 1:09:06Speaker 3: It said.
- 1:09:07Speaker 7: It was two small kids while the game is going on.
- 1:09:12Speaker 7: They were like in the corner, but on the court.
- 1:09:15Speaker 7: So the principal came over, picked up the child, moved
- 1:09:19Speaker 7: it about four feet just so they would be off
- 1:09:23Speaker 7: the court. And then there was a jump cut basically
- 1:09:28Speaker 7: to the parent yelling at the principal and then she
- 1:09:30Speaker 7: slapped him.
- 1:09:32Speaker 3: Hmm, what kind of charger.
- 1:09:35Speaker 8: You're a sensible guy, because don't go with me, because
- 1:09:39Speaker 8: I'm gonna throw the whole book, Okay at people like this.
- 1:09:44Speaker 3: What kind of infraction are you giving? What kind of time?
- 1:09:49Speaker 7: It's at least a battery charge, At the very least
- 1:09:54Speaker 7: it could be upgraded to assault, depend on the severity
- 1:09:57Speaker 7: of injuries.
- 1:10:02Speaker 3: The lady had to go to the hospital.
- 1:10:03Speaker 7: I think that is take her kids, put her in prison,
- 1:10:09Speaker 7: sterilize her so she can't have no more children, and
- 1:10:13Speaker 7: then make her do seventeen months of anger management in prison.
- 1:10:18Speaker 7: Put her on the medic the medicines that make people
- 1:10:22Speaker 7: not able to really function normally when they got anger problems.
- 1:10:26Speaker 3: That's what I do. You you you a mad dog?
- 1:10:30Speaker 7: Well you've thrown the whole rack at her, But no,
- 1:10:33Speaker 7: there's some stuff in the back. I mean, I'm going
- 1:10:35Speaker 7: to get a book. I'm going to get those books,
- 1:10:40Speaker 7: I'm saying, But this stuff is to hold her here
- 1:10:43Speaker 7: till I get back.
- 1:10:44Speaker 3: I mean, because I'm this is.
- 1:10:45Speaker 7: Just like you're trying to send a warning shot to
- 1:10:48Speaker 7: any would be the flipsttt. This is switch on fully
- 1:10:56Speaker 7: auto empty the clip. Hit her with the kitchen sink,
- 1:10:59Speaker 7: just a whole till I can go get my real
- 1:11:01Speaker 7: charges together, and this is what I'm saying, Are you serious,
- 1:11:05Speaker 7: I'm just trying to get your child out of the
- 1:11:08Speaker 7: way so that it doesn't get injured. It would be
- 1:11:12Speaker 7: me as a principal. And then here you come over
- 1:11:17Speaker 7: in your house shoes, and I'm just projecting, don't be
- 1:11:22Speaker 7: putting your hands on and then gonna baby, now, now, now,
- 1:11:28Speaker 7: the what I just said is the lawful me, the
- 1:11:32Speaker 7: kenny me. Just gonna handle it right there. That's all right, baby,
- 1:11:35Speaker 7: don't worry about it. Don't worry about it. You're right,
- 1:11:38Speaker 7: you right, you right now, you right, You're right.
- 1:11:41Speaker 3: I'll be back. I'll be back.
- 1:11:42Speaker 7: I'll just ain't she right, No, don't let her, don't
- 1:11:45Speaker 7: take her no where. Let us stay here, let her stay,
- 1:11:47Speaker 7: let us stay bout seven momentutes.
- 1:11:50Speaker 3: I'll be back. I'll be right back.
- 1:11:51Speaker 8: Well, this is just something that it always astonishes me
- 1:11:55Speaker 8: how in school settings people are are so quick to
- 1:12:02Speaker 8: attack school officials, whether it's teachers, whether it's coaches, whether
- 1:12:08Speaker 8: it's principles. It's just something that for my sensibilities, it
- 1:12:17Speaker 8: has to be like no other choice. I've never even
- 1:12:23Speaker 8: a thought of that. That used to be untouchable places
- 1:12:29Speaker 8: you know you can't just go slap the principle. He
- 1:12:33Speaker 8: was like the judge, he was like the congressman at
- 1:12:36Speaker 8: the school. You got to have some issue with him.
- 1:12:40Speaker 8: I'm not even saying you can't step to him, but
- 1:12:42Speaker 8: the thought of reaching and assaulting. There was no way
- 1:12:48Speaker 8: to explain you to be right in that situation.
- 1:12:51Speaker 7: First of all, First of all, why why are these
- 1:12:55Speaker 7: toddlers alone?
- 1:12:57Speaker 3: Where you went trick that you're not you want to
- 1:13:00Speaker 3: come tail were supervision. Now let's go to break. You
- 1:13:08Speaker 3: don't go to break. Let's call this tramp hold on you.
- 1:13:16Speaker 12: My girl.
- 1:13:18Speaker 3: But she still let me stay. No, I got a

- 1:16:59Speaker 8: off the court work the game is going on. There's
- 1:17:02Speaker 8: other adults around the children that I don't even think
- 1:17:05Speaker 8: see that the kids have made it down that far.
- 1:17:09Speaker 8: And the principal, not that you know that she's the principal.
- 1:17:12Speaker 8: You just see someone going to extract them and move
- 1:17:15Speaker 8: them back just a little bit off the court. And
- 1:17:18Speaker 8: then it escalated into what seems to be kind of
- 1:17:22Speaker 8: like don't tell me how to raise my kid, kind
- 1:17:26Speaker 8: of don't touch my child. I'm wrong, And see that's
- 1:17:30Speaker 8: that's really what it is. Them correcting that mistake shows
- 1:17:35Speaker 8: that you're not doing a good job.
- 1:17:37Speaker 3: As a parent.
- 1:17:38Speaker 7: And now I'm so I'm going to check you about
- 1:17:42Speaker 7: checking me. That's what that is all helping. I'm gonna
- 1:17:45Speaker 7: check you for helping me out, for helping me parents,
- 1:17:47Speaker 7: because you've highlighted where I was being neglectful.
- 1:17:50Speaker 8: And you're pointing, yes, you're pointing out my neglectfulness. Yes,
- 1:17:53Speaker 8: And I can't have that and I see that a lot.
- 1:17:57Speaker 8: I can't have you showing and I'm doing a bad job.
- 1:18:01Speaker 7: And so you're gonna slap me, right, You're right, sir, Right,
- 1:18:05Speaker 7: don't worry aboudy, I don't worry about I'll be right back.

- 1:21:38Speaker 3: Yeah, he didn't. When I went up to him. He
- 1:21:41Speaker 3: didn't see the running back part of me. Command, like
- 1:21:46Speaker 3: most people don't see it instantly. I'm just saying it

- 1:22:42Speaker 7: I'm talking into it with my eyes wide open, sports Giant.
- 1:22:45Speaker 7: I forgot to take her, keep me on my toes.
- 1:22:48Speaker 3: You know I'm subject to get this dismissive. I want

- 1:23:07Speaker 7: Wooded because at least I know what I'm dealing with
- 1:23:10Speaker 7: with Jazzmine Cynthia. That steel water that's super deep. You

- 1:24:21Speaker 31: gets to us and we need to talk to someone
- 1:24:23Speaker 31: about what we're really going through. So we're going to
- 1:24:26Speaker 31: reach out because sometimes mental health is not a one

- 1:24:49Speaker 28: When I was twenty five, me and my wife were

- 1:24:54Speaker 1: What's the last thing on my mind? What about you?
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: Will you be leaving benefits or bills?
- 1:24:58Speaker 28: When I was forty, kid in college and bills piling up,

- 1:25:47Speaker 1: with age.

- 1:26:15Speaker 27: Player's Lounge have been given full access to the Player's

- 1:26:33Speaker 3: Uh something no stop, shut down shock No, welcome back
- 1:26:50Speaker 3: to the show.
- 1:26:51Speaker 8: Off the Sports Shock Wayne Candy, come on to Great
- 1:26:54Speaker 8: Big Candy. Shakill O'Neill says that men Simmons should be arrested.
- 1:27:01Speaker 8: Ben Simmons, in Shaq's opinion, has basically Jesse James the
- 1:27:10Speaker 8: n B A he has robbed them of two hundred million.
- 1:27:18Speaker 8: That he's just set up and robbed. What he has
- 1:27:21Speaker 8: done is should be considered robbery, is what shack. Don
- 1:27:25Speaker 8: y'all see what Shaq.
- 1:27:26Speaker 3: Is going forward with. Yes, with.
- 1:27:29Speaker 8: Sentensus with the Clippers. Now, he was the first pick
- 1:27:32Speaker 8: of the draft to the Sixers. Yes, when he came
- 1:27:35Speaker 8: out of l s U. Right, and about two or
- 1:27:39Speaker 8: three years into the Sixers, Uh, he some kind of
- 1:27:43Speaker 8: way he decided he cannot shoot the ball, which is
- 1:27:49Speaker 8: a kind of a key component of basketball.
- 1:27:53Speaker 7: When you say, if boxers the game, the game is
- 1:27:58Speaker 7: really hard for you, I'm saying, if you looking at
- 1:28:02Speaker 7: criteria for basketball, bets on there shooting the basketball.
- 1:28:07Speaker 3: That's actually how you score the points.
- 1:28:09Speaker 8: Yes, well, then something I don't know whether it was
- 1:28:13Speaker 8: the fans or failure on the court, but it was
- 1:28:17Speaker 8: something psychological that it seems that hit being that even
- 1:28:23Speaker 8: now with the Clippers, I went to see him here
- 1:28:26Speaker 8: when they came to play the Hawks. Basically, teams bait
- 1:28:32Speaker 8: being to shoot. They defense. They defend him in a
- 1:28:37Speaker 8: way to try to make him shoot the ball, and
- 1:28:43Speaker 8: he won't shoot the ball. They like, he only shoots
- 1:28:49Speaker 8: the ball if he is more like a layup or
- 1:28:53Speaker 8: something like that, something he won't actually take a shot,
- 1:28:58Speaker 8: bit Kenny, which I don't I don't even know how
- 1:29:02Speaker 8: old teams are even caring to have him on the team.
- 1:29:07Speaker 7: And I'm going to say if because he's not bad
- 1:29:10Speaker 7: at offense, he won't even try offense. And see this
- 1:29:16Speaker 7: is this is my point that if someone is to
- 1:29:22Speaker 7: assert that this is from a mental condition, if this
- 1:29:27Speaker 7: is from an emotional spiritual aspect.
- 1:29:31Speaker 3: Yeah, there's nothing physically wrong with him as.
- 1:29:33Speaker 7: Far as so people would people would assert that because
- 1:29:38Speaker 7: it's something mental, you can't really be mad at him
- 1:29:42Speaker 7: or his inefficient play. But I would submit that this
- 1:29:49Speaker 7: would disqualify him from being in the league. I would
- 1:29:53Speaker 7: be able to void your contract and get rid of you,
- 1:29:56Speaker 7: putting you in jail if you continue with this activity.
- 1:30:00Speaker 7: Seems to be criminal. But when we realize that you're
- 1:30:04Speaker 7: not able to perform key functions of this job. I
- 1:30:09Speaker 7: can't put you in the cockpit of a plane if
- 1:30:12Speaker 7: you don't know how to land it. You can get
- 1:30:14Speaker 7: it down the runway, you can back it out of
- 1:30:16Speaker 7: the jetway, you can roll it and do barrel rolls,
- 1:30:20Speaker 7: but when it comes to landing you say you just
- 1:30:22Speaker 7: unwilling to do that. I can't put you in the cockpit.
- 1:30:25Speaker 7: I can't put you behind the wheel of a bus
- 1:30:30Speaker 7: if you say you're afraid to make left turns.
- 1:30:32Speaker 3: At some point this is going to happen, isn't it.
- 1:30:35Speaker 3: I is he allowed to continue to take money from
- 1:30:38Speaker 3: the NBA.
- 1:30:39Speaker 8: That is the interesting part, and I think a lot
- 1:30:42Speaker 8: of it A lot of times Comanche, as you see
- 1:30:46Speaker 8: in any sport, guys that are drafted high, especially in
- 1:30:51Speaker 8: the first round. Other teams feel like they can figure
- 1:30:56Speaker 8: out the puzzle. Yes, so you do get a second
- 1:31:03Speaker 8: and sometimes a third.
- 1:31:06Speaker 1: Try.
- 1:31:08Speaker 8: But just because we you got teams that figure you know,
- 1:31:12Speaker 8: and that no knock at someone. I'm just using like
- 1:31:15Speaker 8: our got boyd our Man, Jameis Winston. I'm strong, you strong,
- 1:31:20Speaker 8: We're strong. You know he did what he does what
- 1:31:24Speaker 8: he does, and each team that gets him, especially the Saints,
- 1:31:29Speaker 8: especially the brow Now the Giants, they just might be
- 1:31:31Speaker 8: looking for someone they feel can give them a good backup, right,
- 1:31:35Speaker 8: But the Saints did get James thinking maybe he could
- 1:31:41Speaker 8: be a starter in their organization, and you just get
- 1:31:46Speaker 8: a little more rope when you are a high round pick.
- 1:31:51Speaker 8: Now at this point, unless Ben Simmons games to me,
- 1:31:56Speaker 8: develops him into more like a Draymond Green. Now he
- 1:31:59Speaker 8: is one of the top defenders, but I'm gonna need
- 1:32:02Speaker 8: more of the rebounding and this. You know, your other
- 1:32:07Speaker 8: areas are gonna have to be so much better like
- 1:32:10Speaker 8: a Dennis Rodman that I can accept that score six
- 1:32:17Speaker 8: points again, No, No, that's that's different. The metric of
- 1:32:21Speaker 8: a Dennis Rodman. Who else did you mention Raymond Green?
- 1:32:26Speaker 8: Is they might not be draining shots, but they taking
- 1:32:30Speaker 8: them when they.
- 1:32:32Speaker 7: Open, they take them. I'm saying Rodman would would put
- 1:32:36Speaker 7: it up, but we know.
- 1:32:37Speaker 3: We're not gonna hit a lot. But Raymond's one of
- 1:32:39Speaker 3: those where you some people probably don't want him to
- 1:32:43Speaker 3: shoot the ball and.
- 1:32:48Speaker 7: Were saying being you won't even cock back. No, I'm saying,
- 1:32:55Speaker 7: but You're way outside the perimeter at this point. You,
- 1:32:59Speaker 7: I'm saying, but you it's a it's a twelve footer.
- 1:33:02Speaker 7: You could just float that, baby boy. Come on, man,
- 1:33:05Speaker 7: it's gotta be a dunk or a layup because he
- 1:33:08Speaker 7: and it's got it. He's got to be no one
- 1:33:10Speaker 7: near him because he doesn't want to get found and
- 1:33:12Speaker 7: shoot free throw.
- 1:33:13Speaker 3: He definitely doesn't the free thrower. Don't worry about it, Ben,
- 1:33:17Speaker 3: you right, don't worry about it. I don't worry about it.
- 1:33:19Speaker 3: I'll be right back. Go gon, get the layup. Don't
- 1:33:22Speaker 3: get your lay up, man, go ahead, get your lay up.
- 1:33:24Speaker 2: Ben.
- 1:33:25Speaker 3: I'll be right back, and we all gonna do some layers.
- 1:33:29Speaker 7: We all gonna be laying up when I come back. Man,
- 1:33:32Speaker 7: everybody laying up after this. Carmelo Anthony, no question. Hall
- 1:33:40Speaker 7: of Fame, Nate Smith, Hall of Fame, numberee. He has
- 1:33:45Speaker 7: made the Class of twenty twenty five. Sue Bird, no question,
- 1:33:50Speaker 7: maya more, no question.
- 1:33:52Speaker 8: Really, when you look at this year's lists, this is
- 1:33:56Speaker 8: not a good list for twenty four hour broadcast. Ask
- 1:34:00Speaker 8: because there's nobody to sit here and be like, oh,
- 1:34:03Speaker 8: I don't know why y'all put Diana Tarassi in the
- 1:34:06Speaker 8: Hall of Fame, and that's what you like sometimes you
- 1:34:10Speaker 8: like that's the only way it lives. You're telling me
- 1:34:12Speaker 8: Carmelo Anthony made the Hall of Fame, and I'm like,
- 1:34:15Speaker 8: why did you bring that up?
- 1:34:17Speaker 7: No, I'm saying, we just announced it. Yeah, yeah, mellow,
- 1:34:22Speaker 7: yeah he's eligible now so you know we had to
- 1:34:27Speaker 7: wait for the right But he going, yeah, that's what
- 1:34:32Speaker 7: I'm saying. So what do you so, I'm you know,
- 1:34:35Speaker 7: a couple of years from now, when are you texting
- 1:34:37Speaker 7: me that they inducted Tom Brady into the Hall of Fame.
- 1:34:43Speaker 3: You already know what I'm gonna see, And like, why
- 1:34:45Speaker 3: did you send me this? What angle? What angle of
- 1:34:48Speaker 3: the store? That's going to be a whole bunch of
- 1:34:50Speaker 3: human interest story. So you know what.
- 1:34:54Speaker 7: The bus just got finished. Yeah, he's eating cleaner now,
- 1:35:00Speaker 7: he's eating way cleaner. Yeah, that's about all we can
- 1:35:05Speaker 7: talk about. Who will he think?
- 1:35:08Speaker 3: Is he gonna go in on? Some people? Like what
- 1:35:10Speaker 3: what is? But you're telling me he got in. That's
- 1:35:14Speaker 3: not like no real commisation. First, I like to thank
- 1:35:17Speaker 3: Giselle for being a garbage wife. Now that would be news.
- 1:35:22Speaker 3: That would be news outside of that nothing.
- 1:35:25Speaker 8: But yes, Dwight Howard, Carmelo Anthony both into the Nate
- 1:35:30Speaker 8: Smith Hall of Fame. I remember with basketball, it's the
- 1:35:33Speaker 8: Nate Smith meaning that basketball kind of does. They add
- 1:35:37Speaker 8: in all levels, they're they're even comprehensive body of work. Yeah,
- 1:35:44Speaker 8: even if you went overseas for a year or two,
- 1:35:47Speaker 8: whatever you did your college work, it all kind of
- 1:35:51Speaker 8: goes in together. And that's why I said, when you
- 1:35:54Speaker 8: say people like Supeer Bird, Billy Donovan the coach, you
- 1:35:59Speaker 8: got to put in not just what he is pro
- 1:36:01Speaker 8: not what he did as a player, what he did
- 1:36:03Speaker 8: at Florida, you know that kind of stuff. All that
- 1:36:07Speaker 8: together equates to someone who's had a large impact on basketball.
- 1:36:14Speaker 8: I don't actually see anyone of any kind of surprise.
- 1:36:17Speaker 8: I'm sorry, guys. Who's the full list?
- 1:36:22Speaker 3: Billy Donovan, super Bird, Carmelo Anthony, Dwhite Howard. It was
- 1:36:28Speaker 3: one more.
- 1:36:30Speaker 7: Sylvia Fowles and the two thousand and eight Olympic team.
- 1:36:40Speaker 7: So there's one other coach I missed. Yeah, well, Soue
- 1:36:44Speaker 7: soup files. I don't know, but you're just trying to
- 1:36:48Speaker 7: drive a story. I just picked her out. I just
- 1:36:51Speaker 7: left because probably a lot of people wouldn't know that night.
- 1:36:54Speaker 7: I just picked her out soup files because we gotta
- 1:36:57Speaker 7: we got to eat up this time. That's what happened.
- 1:36:59Speaker 7: We got there broadcast. Yeah, you gotta have some sort
- 1:37:02Speaker 7: of talking. A lot of that is point counterpoint. I
- 1:37:05Speaker 7: think she and here's very little of that available.
- 1:37:08Speaker 8: I want to say she was like a fourteen time
- 1:37:12Speaker 8: All Star or something, double gold medals.
- 1:37:15Speaker 3: That's that. Yeah, she played about sixteen years and like
- 1:37:20Speaker 3: fourteen of them star. If that's what you drafted, If
- 1:37:27Speaker 3: that's what you award, you know, that's cool.
- 1:37:30Speaker 7: But you know, yeah, so you might not know her,
- 1:37:32Speaker 7: but her her qualifications are as good as anybody.
- 1:37:35Speaker 3: Else is on this. How many followers she got though,
- 1:37:40Speaker 3: I mean the Instagram follows she got. I don't know
- 1:37:43Speaker 3: about that. I will see there you go there, we'll
- 1:37:46Speaker 3: be back more to Sports doc show right after this.
- 1:37:49Speaker 7: Did you play that?
- 1:37:50Speaker 21: Are you a little good?
- 1:37:51Speaker 27: I will risk everything, make me forgive what safe seccess.
- 1:37:56Speaker 11: I'm a finish right now.
- 1:37:57Speaker 1: I don't take bread said, I reckon, you don't bow away?
- 1:38:05Speaker 6: Or of the Sports Jock Show with Wayne Dan videos
- 1:38:08Speaker 6: dumbing up mass.
- 1:38:11Speaker 17: Some people won't give you the real talk on drugs,
- 1:38:14Speaker 17: but it's time we know the facts. Fentanyl is killing people.
- 1:38:17Speaker 17: It's a powerful opioid, often made illegally and commonly mixed
- 1:38:21Speaker 17: with illicted drugs. It can even be pressed into counterfeit
- 1:38:24Speaker 17: pills that resemble prescription medications. Just two milligrams, about the
- 1:38:28Speaker 17: size of a few grains of sand, could potentially be lethal.
- 1:38:31Speaker 17: This isn't an ad to scare you, but it isn't
- 1:38:33Speaker 17: ad to make you think twice. Get the facts. Go

- 1:41:04Speaker 8: I'll sing even welcome back to this boy shock show.
- 1:41:09Speaker 8: I'm the spot shock Wayne again. D What have talking about?
- 1:41:13Speaker 8: The Nate Smith Hall of Fame. Sylvia Fowls played for
- 1:41:19Speaker 8: the Chicago Sky and the Minnesota Lynx. She won WNB
- 1:41:26Speaker 8: A MVP Award in twenty seventeen Big Kenney. She won
- 1:41:31Speaker 8: WNBA Defensive Player of the Year four times. She's the
- 1:41:35Speaker 8: all time leading WNBA rebounder. Just to put a little
- 1:41:40Speaker 8: face on Cynthia Fowls, you know, out of all the
- 1:41:44Speaker 8: other names, she was kind of the least known to us.
- 1:41:48Speaker 8: She was a McDonald's All American. She won two high
- 1:41:51Speaker 8: school championships. She was the SEC Player of the Year
- 1:41:55Speaker 8: when she was a senior and at LSU. She's won
- 1:42:02Speaker 8: europe Championships, Turkish championships, all that, but she ain't on TikTok. No,
- 1:42:13Speaker 8: I'm just saying, I mean, all of that other stuff
- 1:42:15Speaker 8: is cool, but she ain't on TikTok.
- 1:42:18Speaker 3: Doesn't seem like she's on TikTok. The erosion of the
- 1:42:25Speaker 3: selection processes.
- 1:42:26Speaker 8: Alex ovechen NHL last night, passing the Great One and
- 1:42:33Speaker 8: that was his nickname, Alex the Great taking over the
- 1:42:38Speaker 8: number one spot NHL scoring mark over Wayne Gratski.
- 1:42:44Speaker 10: Uh.
- 1:42:44Speaker 8: It took Alex about two more games, so it was
- 1:42:48Speaker 8: around the same amount of games with Wayne grat Ski.
- 1:42:53Speaker 8: Alex looks like an old retired man though, I mean,
- 1:42:56Speaker 8: I don't know what.
- 1:42:57Speaker 7: And I'm looking to see when did he get into
- 1:42:59Speaker 7: the He looks like he looks like the Stanley Cup,
- 1:43:03Speaker 7: so about six years he's been looking like well, and
- 1:43:06Speaker 7: so he in two thousand and three he won the
- 1:43:13Speaker 7: He's with the Russian national hockey team. He was drafted
- 1:43:16Speaker 7: by the Capitals in two thousand and five, so he's
- 1:43:18Speaker 7: been in the league about twenty years.
- 1:43:20Speaker 3: Twenty years.
- 1:43:21Speaker 7: Yes he looks about seventy years old, Yes he does,
- 1:43:25Speaker 7: but I mean twenty years in the league and he
- 1:43:28Speaker 7: still has very deep deep rulesome Ox. Thank to the
- 1:43:34Speaker 7: people for the throw brouh. Come on, man, well I
- 1:43:39Speaker 7: do know a lot of but he may do his
- 1:43:41Speaker 7: off season.
- 1:43:42Speaker 3: Yes, I was about to say a lot of players,
- 1:43:45Speaker 3: and you'll be amazed.
- 1:43:48Speaker 8: And I can only speak for what I know to
- 1:43:50Speaker 8: be Like basketball, those guys they go back to their
- 1:43:55Speaker 8: home land or somewhere close to it and live in
- 1:43:58Speaker 8: the off season, right and with hockey, a lot of
- 1:44:03Speaker 8: these people just play for these teams. They're not even citizens.
- 1:44:07Speaker 8: They're not not only they're not even looking for citizenship.
- 1:44:10Speaker 8: Right now, I'm Poland, Poland school with me?
- 1:44:15Speaker 3: Just to Poland?
- 1:44:16Speaker 7: And how play here and then on the weekend and
- 1:44:18Speaker 7: just go to Poland? And really, Alex Ovechen just really
- 1:44:23Speaker 7: is breaking a mark in a time where hockey really
- 1:44:26Speaker 7: has faded based on so much other content that hockey
- 1:44:34Speaker 7: has kind of just fallen to those that like hockey. Well,
- 1:44:39Speaker 7: the casual Wayne Wayne Gretzky bought in more of a
- 1:44:43Speaker 7: Wayne Gretzky to me, did what Tiger Woods did for golf. Yes,
- 1:44:47Speaker 7: he brought in a viewership of people that now, once
- 1:44:51Speaker 7: Wayanne left that way, it.
- 1:44:54Speaker 3: Trickled very very I don't even know if trickle would
- 1:44:58Speaker 3: be the word. It fell off.
- 1:45:00Speaker 8: Yeah, people people don't really speak up on golf like
- 1:45:05Speaker 8: they did when Tiger played in in the more casual
- 1:45:09Speaker 8: setting anymore. Now people still play, but they don't tell you,
- 1:45:14Speaker 8: did you ask you? Did you watch this? So watch
- 1:45:16Speaker 8: the bridge.
- 1:45:17Speaker 3: Stone if Tiger is actually playing at the thing.
- 1:45:21Speaker 8: And then I think Wayne Gretzky was the same way.
- 1:45:24Speaker 8: And I think just hockey, and it's total. You talk
- 1:45:27Speaker 8: about the nineties, eighties and nineties, it would have probably
- 1:45:31Speaker 8: been in your top five sports. But now with other content,
- 1:45:35Speaker 8: the rise of being able to watch any other thing
- 1:45:40Speaker 8: than hockey, listen, it's really phased it, I don't you know.
- 1:45:44Speaker 8: And the American dollar, as I keep saying, once you
- 1:45:48Speaker 8: like one or two sports, even people with good jobs
- 1:45:53Speaker 8: start for questioning the third sport. And we can do
- 1:45:58Speaker 8: the we can do the Hawks and the Falcons, but man,
- 1:46:01Speaker 8: we might just have to catch one brave. It becomes
- 1:46:04Speaker 8: that with the ticket prices and it's ninety dollars the park,
- 1:46:09Speaker 8: you can go to the room, you know that kind
- 1:46:10Speaker 8: of thing, like it's not as easy and cost efficient.
- 1:46:14Speaker 7: And even if you're sitting at home. I know I've
- 1:46:17Speaker 7: been sitting with friends watching sports, and when that game ends,
- 1:46:20Speaker 7: we ended up watching something called like were warehouse wear
- 1:46:26Speaker 7: softball or something like.
- 1:46:28Speaker 3: It's like warehouse pickleball.
- 1:46:30Speaker 7: It's like a whiffleball, like whiffletball right in a warehouse, right,
- 1:46:34Speaker 7: warehouse whiffleball. And there's a whole channel dedicated to a
- 1:46:39Speaker 7: whole league of dudes basically sitting around in bucket hats
- 1:46:42Speaker 7: and T shirts hitting a whiffle ball. And we watch
- 1:46:45Speaker 7: for like twenty five minutes before I was like, I
- 1:46:48Speaker 7: wonder what sport is suffering from this? Like my twenty
- 1:46:51Speaker 7: five minutes of watching this has got to be taking
- 1:46:54Speaker 7: time away from something that used to be a very
- 1:46:57Speaker 7: well watched sport.
- 1:46:58Speaker 8: Very well watched sporting. Come on, and now that's what
- 1:47:01Speaker 8: I'm saying, when it came on, When it comes on. Now,
- 1:47:04Speaker 8: I have the capability of watching the Sacramento King game,
- 1:47:10Speaker 8: because if I got the NBA package, I can watch
- 1:47:12Speaker 8: any game. Yes you can, even though I don't particularly
- 1:47:17Speaker 8: care who wins between Sacramento and Utah. That game is
- 1:47:23Speaker 8: competition now versus your NHL game.
- 1:47:26Speaker 3: Yes it is out of the blue.
- 1:47:29Speaker 7: That wasn't an I used to watch NHL because I
- 1:47:32Speaker 7: didn't want to watch the Love Boat.
- 1:47:33Speaker 8: Because I didn't want to watch. That's what I'm saying.
- 1:47:36Speaker 8: I don't want to watch what else was competing with it.
- 1:47:40Speaker 8: But now I can watch anything that actually like. I
- 1:47:45Speaker 8: actually like basketball, so even if it's Utah and Sacramento,
- 1:47:49Speaker 8: it's better than you know, not watching sports watching exactly.
- 1:47:54Speaker 8: We'll be back with more to the Sports Jock Show
- 1:47:56Speaker 8: right after this.
- 1:48:00Speaker 3: To not be the best.
- 1:48:00Speaker 15: You see the arrested but feel like they need a
- 1:48:02Speaker 15: rest fun I'm gonna spit out.
- 1:48:07Speaker 6: So fine, don't go away, or of the Sports Josh
- 1:48:11Speaker 6: Show with Wayne Danbridius coming up next.
- 1:48:14Speaker 10: Now, let's talk about something exciting, life insurance. Three quarters
- 1:48:17Speaker 10: of Americans believe that coverage represents a critical piece of
- 1:48:21Speaker 10: financial security, yet only forty nine percent actually have life insurance.
- 1:48:25Speaker 28: When I was twenty five, me and my wife were
- 1:48:27Speaker 28: just getting started with our family and thought we lived forever.
- 1:48:29Speaker 28: Life insurance was the last thing on my mind.
- 1:48:32Speaker 1: What about you? Will you be leaving benefits or bills?
- 1:48:35Speaker 28: When I was forty, with a kid in college and
- 1:48:37Speaker 28: bills piling up, I was worried how my family will
- 1:48:39Speaker 28: survive without me. That's when I'm in an appointment with
- 1:48:41Speaker 28: the insurance.
- 1:48:41Speaker 10: Informant information gives you power and life insurance gives your
- 1:48:44Speaker 10: family security no matter what stage of life you're in.
- 1:48:47Speaker 7: Now that I'm older, I don't worry about whether I
- 1:48:50Speaker 7: leave my family with bills or benefits.
- 1:48:52Speaker 10: The answer is easy, whether you're twenty five or fifty,
- 1:48:54Speaker 10: whether you earn a little or a lot, All you
- 1:48:56Speaker 10: need is the insurance informant to help you build a
- 1:48:59Speaker 10: foundation of security, because without you, your family will have
- 1:49:02Speaker 10: two options, benefits or bills. Which legacy will you leave behind?

- 1:51:13Speaker 8: side of the NC Doublea's once again Big Kenny Commanchi.
- 1:51:19Speaker 8: They are writing the article Bill Belichick and twenty four
- 1:51:23Speaker 8: year old girlfriend Jordan Hudson. It just infuriates me. You
- 1:51:29Speaker 8: keep driving home your agenda because I keep thinking how
- 1:51:35Speaker 8: I can easily take the twenty four year old part
- 1:51:38Speaker 8: replace it with so many things, and you will say
- 1:51:41Speaker 8: that I'm bullying, I'm insensitive, I'm sexist, some racist. If
- 1:51:46Speaker 8: I keep pointing out, yes, some other part Bill Belichick
- 1:51:51Speaker 8: and nicely appointed Bill Belichick and full breasted girlfriend Bill
- 1:51:58Speaker 8: Belichick and nice round bottom young can you know all
- 1:52:04Speaker 8: of that even if it was simply Bill Belichick and
- 1:52:07Speaker 8: Asian girlfriend.
- 1:52:08Speaker 3: Yep.
- 1:52:09Speaker 8: If I can't, I can put anything. And I just
- 1:52:12Speaker 8: keep saying it that way. It's like, what do you
- 1:52:14Speaker 8: keep why do you keep saying that way? Why do
- 1:52:16Speaker 8: you keep pointing that out? Bill Belichick and short girlfriend,
- 1:52:20Speaker 8: tall girlfriend, fat girlfriend, all these things?
- 1:52:26Speaker 3: Just trying to shame him? And and that's what And
- 1:52:28Speaker 3: that's the part I'm saying.
- 1:52:29Speaker 8: You're just trying to shame these people relationship at this point,
- 1:52:34Speaker 8: or continue to write that, Why doesn't it just say
- 1:52:37Speaker 8: Bill Belichick and girlfriend Jordan Hudson.
- 1:52:42Speaker 3: And George bizarre?
- 1:52:44Speaker 5: Uh?
- 1:52:45Speaker 3: And then you put bizarre link up with Lil Wayne.
- 1:52:47Speaker 3: Why is it bizarre.
- 1:52:49Speaker 8: Lil Wayne was in the and Mike still be in
- 1:52:53Speaker 8: the sports agency business, wasn't he He's a professed love
- 1:52:57Speaker 8: of sports.
- 1:52:58Speaker 7: Even it went on with it Bayless, didn't he for
- 1:53:01Speaker 7: a sports show? Or yes he did skipping? And how
- 1:53:05Speaker 7: is it bizarre for Lil Wayne to as it's different demographics,
- 1:53:13Speaker 7: it shouldn't be in the same circle.
- 1:53:18Speaker 3: That was mandated. Is that is that some of my congress?
- 1:53:21Speaker 3: Is that a terror? Most?
- 1:53:23Speaker 7: Is that a terror?
- 1:53:25Speaker 3: I mean, what is this?
- 1:53:28Speaker 7: I think that at some point it may not be
- 1:53:31Speaker 7: a Bill Belichick, but it will be someone who similar
- 1:53:35Speaker 7: to how Drake wented Kendrick Lamar. A lot of people
- 1:53:39Speaker 7: like that's free speech, It's just rap. Andre was like, no,
- 1:53:43Speaker 7: that's an incendiary comment and accusation that you're making about me.
- 1:53:49Speaker 7: And if you're going to say that, then I'm going
- 1:53:51Speaker 7: to hold you liable for it. And at least it
- 1:53:54Speaker 7: got to court. Someone maybe not Bill, but will have
- 1:53:58Speaker 7: to say, look, y'all try to make me sound like
- 1:54:02Speaker 7: I'm doing something wrong. You're painting me in a specific
- 1:54:06Speaker 7: light for a particular reason, for profit, for exposure, and
- 1:54:13Speaker 7: those things now have been deemed crimes. You can't exploit
- 1:54:16Speaker 7: other people for your own benefit without them being in
- 1:54:21Speaker 7: on it, and think that it's going to go unpunished.
- 1:54:24Speaker 8: Yeah, And it's just I just know so many so
- 1:54:29Speaker 8: you know so many other ways. I write that and
- 1:54:32Speaker 8: I plug in something for twenty four and everybody wants
- 1:54:38Speaker 8: the website, the social media platform, they want the head
- 1:54:43Speaker 8: of the news organization to answer all that the answer
- 1:54:46Speaker 8: for it. And at this point, you keep saying that
- 1:54:50Speaker 8: from a set for me, and it's hard for me
- 1:54:52Speaker 8: to get there. But I can really see you just
- 1:54:55Speaker 8: saying that because you're trying to shame them for their relationship.
- 1:55:00Speaker 8: It jeams like that, Well, however they want to be together,
- 1:55:04Speaker 8: But we're so about everybody gets to love everybody.
- 1:55:07Speaker 3: It's legal, correct, yes sir, everybody of legal age, Yes
- 1:55:12Speaker 3: they are. So let it go. You got to let
- 1:55:16Speaker 3: that go at some point, Ohio, a teacher, husband a
- 1:55:29Speaker 3: student walk into a bar.
- 1:55:38Speaker 8: Like a joke, accused of trying to hire a student
- 1:55:43Speaker 8: to kill her husband. What is with you know, because
- 1:55:49Speaker 8: that's got so many layers that we need to start
- 1:55:52Speaker 8: to show with it.
- 1:55:52Speaker 3: But what is with this whole.
- 1:55:56Speaker 8: Hire for murder sense that we seem to have in
- 1:56:00Speaker 8: our society? Like some are we really emulating television?
- 1:56:07Speaker 3: Like real life is far more bizarre than actions. Don
- 1:56:11Speaker 3: It seemed like where did this whole murder for hire
- 1:56:14Speaker 3: stuff come from? I honestly think sports Jack john Wick?
- 1:56:19Speaker 3: Is john Wick just too popular? I mean, are we
- 1:56:22Speaker 3: just hiring? I feel it goes back.
- 1:56:25Speaker 7: No, it's it's the proliferation of that kind of information
- 1:56:31Speaker 7: in even being available. It used to be that in
- 1:56:35Speaker 7: order to hire a hitman, you had to know someone
- 1:56:39Speaker 7: of nefarious character.
- 1:56:41Speaker 3: Who you were even unsure if you want to be
- 1:56:43Speaker 3: seen talking to.
- 1:56:44Speaker 7: Then you had to meet them people in a questionable
- 1:56:47Speaker 7: part of town behind the building, y'all smoking cigarettes, and
- 1:56:51Speaker 7: you got money in an envelope, and then he reached
- 1:56:54Speaker 7: out to somebody out the country because nobody in the
- 1:56:57Speaker 7: United States really do that kind of stuff, And then
- 1:57:00Speaker 7: were eventually wetwork, and then eventually something would happen, and
- 1:57:05Speaker 7: then in there somebody's breaks wouldn't work and you'd.
- 1:57:09Speaker 3: Collect some insurance money.
- 1:57:11Speaker 7: Now they got a website where you can just go
- 1:57:15Speaker 7: and hire people to kill, not on the dark lest
- 1:57:18Speaker 7: the regular web.
- 1:57:19Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying.
- 1:57:20Speaker 7: So you can imagine that the process has been diminished
- 1:57:24Speaker 7: a little bit, some of the requirements aren't in place anymore.
- 1:57:28Speaker 7: Stephanie Demetris, forty four years old, allegedly approached a student
- 1:57:32Speaker 7: at Academy for Urban Scholars in Columbus, Ohio that was March,
- 1:57:38Speaker 7: that was racist, and solicited the student to.
- 1:57:42Speaker 8: Kill her husband for two thousand dollars. Demetrious allegedly gator
- 1:57:48Speaker 8: student two hundred and fifty dollars down payment and details
- 1:57:53Speaker 8: about her husband, including where he works from.
- 1:57:58Speaker 7: Home and when he's at the house alone. So I
- 1:58:03Speaker 7: guess we'll see how this works out. First of all,
- 1:58:07Speaker 7: it was racist. She went to the urban academy. No,
- 1:58:09Speaker 7: that's where she works, which is racist. She picked one
- 1:58:15Speaker 7: of them students because she figures an urban academy they
- 1:58:18Speaker 7: need the money.
- 1:58:19Speaker 3: I think she is of the same color, so she's
- 1:58:24Speaker 3: just stupid and we all know.
- 1:58:30Speaker 1: The truth is he will throw your in the ocean.
- 1:58:34Speaker 1: It's time to wrap things up on the Sports jug Show.
- 1:58:38Speaker 3: With Wayne Gandy. When you get a sound of those
- 1:59:17Speaker 3: thinking this, watchhout just a minute. To Vin.
- 1:59:19Speaker 8: We'd like to thank you for tuning into today's show.
- 1:59:22Speaker 8: Happy Monday to you out there, and congratulations to the
- 1:59:26Speaker 8: Yukon women Huskies for winning the twenty twenty five national championship,
- 1:59:33Speaker 8: the twelfth for the school. The most championships for any
- 1:59:38Speaker 8: women's program now and for a while has been for
- 1:59:44Speaker 8: Yukon tonight's game at eight point fifty Houston Cougars versus
- 1:59:50Speaker 8: Florida Gators for the men's title. If you missed any
- 1:59:54Speaker 8: of the show today, you can go to Amazon Podcasts,
- 1:59:57Speaker 8: Apple Podcasts, Audible, Deezer, Spotify, or iHeartRadio. A lot of
- 2:00:08Speaker 8: you have taken shots at John Morin, get It, shot shot.
- 2:00:14Speaker 3: At gott Pere Peer.
- 2:00:16Speaker 8: But I'm actually gonna bring Job Morin on board my
- 2:00:20Speaker 8: shift today, and not because he's a smart athlete or
- 2:00:28Speaker 8: an athlete that seems to care what you think about him,
- 2:00:36Speaker 8: but mainly because he has shown you who he is
- 2:00:42Speaker 8: and we need to accept who he is. I think
- 2:00:47Speaker 8: we can enjoy him more accepting who he is instead
- 2:00:51Speaker 8: of trying to make him into something he's isn't, And
- 2:00:56Speaker 8: that's all that act. After being warned not to do
- 2:01:00Speaker 8: the gun gesture the next night during the game, John
- 2:01:04Speaker 8: Morant went right out and did it again, which he
- 2:01:07Speaker 8: was fined for seventy five thousand dollars. That showed me
- 2:01:11Speaker 8: that whoever that person is, that is job, and right
- 2:01:15Speaker 8: or wrong, you're probably gonna get the best out of him.
- 2:01:20Speaker 8: Letting him be job.
- 2:01:21Speaker 7: Now, you might get some headaches, true enough, Draymond Green,
- 2:01:27Speaker 7: But trying to sit here and make him the face
- 2:01:30Speaker 7: of the league or make him be whatever it is
- 2:01:34Speaker 7: you need him to be is not the case.
- 2:01:38Speaker 3: And you can stop barking at that tree.
- 2:01:40Speaker 7: You just let the man be John Moran and expect
- 2:01:44Speaker 7: these kind of incidents here or there. So come on board, jock.
- 2:01:57Speaker 7: That's what's wrong with Deshaun Watson. Can't get a massage
- 2:02:00Speaker 7: no more. And he just went downhill from there and
- 2:02:05Speaker 7: just gave a slip and just let us have a
- 2:02:07Speaker 7: smoking section. Why don't you, Kenny the funny Man, command you,
- 2:02:12Speaker 7: Gregg Sports Jock. We hope you have a good afternoon.
- 2:02:15Speaker 7: We'll see you late in the week.
- 2:02:17Speaker 3: Peace.
