- 0:00Silver is going to be absolutely critical potentially for some of
- 0:04you for your survival. And I don't want to be a
- 0:07doomsdayer because on the other side I just see beautiful things
- 0:11happening, but not before some rocky roads ahead.
- 0:15And 2024 is going to be one of those years where.
- 0:22Are we headed to new all time highs For the gold price?
- 0:26For the silver price? There is so much going on right
- 0:29now. Is the dollar doomed?
- 0:32We have potential for runaway inflation.
- 0:35We have major changes going on in the world today.
- 0:39We're fortunate to be joined by Mr. Daniel Tinkham.
- 0:42He's a wealth strategist and a wealth of knowledge when it
- 0:46comes to precious metals and these big changes that are going
- 0:50on all around us. You might feel a little crazy
- 0:54with everything going on, but by the end of this video, hopefully
- 0:57we'll provide you with some clarity.
- 0:59Daniel, welcome back to Ron's Basement.
- 1:02Ron, it's a pleasure. Thanks for having me on again
- 1:04today. Well, it's you're you're a a
- 1:07basement favorite and we we truly do appreciate you giving
- 1:11us your time. I get a lot of messages you know
- 1:14you and I are talking right now. But we have a third person with
- 1:17us, our our viewer. And I get a lot of messages from
- 1:21people saying things just feel crazy out there right now.
- 1:25Any thoughts on what you see when you look out at the macro
- 1:28environment? And of course, we'll at some
- 1:31point tie that all back into precious metals.
- 1:34Absolutely. You know what I see, Ron?
- 1:35I see deception everywhere. There's constant, you know,
- 1:39there's misinformation, disinformation, but not the kind
- 1:42that the mainstream media tells you.
- 1:43It's actually, you know, they sprinkle a lot of truth in
- 1:46there, and then they push it out.
- 1:48And it's really hard for people to discern what's truth and
- 1:53what's not truth. And so really takes, you know,
- 1:57each person to kind of take a step back, reflect, figure out,
- 2:01OK, who am I? You know, who am I listening to?
- 2:04We were all there when we were watching mainstream media,
- 2:06myself included. And I said, you know what, I'm
- 2:08going to remove myself from that.
- 2:10And that was probably the best decision I ever made.
- 2:13And I'm just seeking other truth seekers and, you know, building
- 2:18your own ideas in your mind about what you think the world
- 2:22should be and then taking action, you know, taking small
- 2:26incremental steps to to better your life.
- 2:29And if you can better your life, then you can serve others.
- 2:32And I'm at a point now where since about 2017, that's really
- 2:35when I changed my old ways, I personally found Jesus and you
- 2:40know, and then I started living a life that I was proud of
- 2:43through him. And for me that's that's worked.
- 2:47But for every person you're going to have a different
- 2:49spiritual journey. And whatever that journey is
- 2:51that was meant for you, for me that that that includes stacking
- 2:56physical precious metals. I can see what the system has
- 3:00done because I've been behind the curtain.
- 3:02I was behind the curtain for for a very long time.
- 3:06You know the the old movie, The Wizard of Oz, OZ is oz.
- 3:11So and that yellow brick road was gold.
- 3:13Funny how they don't talk about silver that much in in The
- 3:16Wizard of Oz, but silver is going to be absolutely critical,
- 3:21potentially for some of you for your survival.
- 3:23And I don't want to be a doomsdayer because on the other
- 3:26side, I just see beautiful things happening, but not before
- 3:31some rocky roads ahead. And 2024 is going to be one of
- 3:35those years where all of a sudden you turn down a dirt road
- 3:38and it just rained and you go, oh boy, here we go.
- 3:40We're in for a bumpy ride. But if you've prepared your
- 3:44vehicle, you have, you know, brand new tires, you know you're
- 3:48prepared. You know the roads.
- 3:50You'll get through it. I know you will, and I know your
- 3:52viewers will. Now your viewers are going to be
- 3:54responsible for helping a lot of other people in the coming
- 3:57years. And you know, it very much seems
- 4:00that a lot of your viewers are givers as opposed to takers.
- 4:03And you know, so when those times do come, you know, myself
- 4:06included, I'll be prepared to help others, you know, the way
- 4:09God tells me to help them. Yeah, And you know, it's I think
- 4:14it's natural that we feel a little confused and crazy from
- 4:17time to time because we're not. Part of the mainstream, you
- 4:21know, most of us that are silver and gold enthusiasts, stackers,
- 4:26whatever we prefer to call ourselves.
- 4:29You know, we are kind of digging in the dirt a little bit and
- 4:32trying to figure out what's really going on.
- 4:34And you referred to this kind of, you know, make believe, Land
- 4:38of the Wizard of Oz. What's going on behind the
- 4:41curtain? And and I think that, you know,
- 4:44when I think about just the dollar in general, I mean the
- 4:47dollar has turned into like fantasyland, right.
- 4:50It's not backed by anything, but it was a lot different when the
- 4:54dollar was backed by gold and backed by silver.
- 4:57But you know, now we've seen that change, we're also seeing
- 5:00some changes even with. The Petro dollar, because, you
- 5:04know, when they took the dollar off the gold standard, they kind
- 5:07of moved it to being backed by oil, but that's even changing
- 5:11now. Any thoughts on that whole
- 5:13scenario about what's going on with the dollar, the prospects
- 5:16for even more inflation down the road?
- 5:20Ron, I'm sure you've played the game Monopoly, and I'm sure a
- 5:23lot of your viewers have played the game Monopoly.
- 5:25We're at the point in the game where the banker is just
- 5:27completely taken over and they're making all the rules and
- 5:30everybody is forced to play. And at some point someone's
- 5:33going to pick up the board and just throw it.
- 5:35And I think that's going to happen next year.
- 5:38People are realizing that, you know, like, like when you would
- 5:41run out of money in Monopoly, somebody would just write, you
- 5:43know, 100 or whatever and try to pass it through the system.
- 5:47That's what's happening right now.
- 5:49I I did a fun little game with myself.
- 5:51I searched the word trillion in my e-mail inbox because I I
- 5:56probably subscribed to about maybe 150 different
- 5:59publications. And I said let's just see what's
- 6:02what's in here. And within a couple minutes, you
- 6:04know, I found some pretty startling information.
- 6:07And this is probably a lot of your viewers are already
- 6:09familiar with this, but I like to cover, I'd like to cover like
- 6:12anything that I found that has a trillion in it.
- 6:14And pretty soon it's going to be quadrillion.
- 6:17You know, we're talking about that with derivatives right now,
- 6:19but hopefully not in the not too distant future.
- 6:21We're not talking about quadrillions like we, you know,
- 6:23we used to talk about billions and now we're talking trillions.
- 6:26And like you've said a trillion is a million million.
- 6:29Well a quadrillion is 10 million million and we're already
- 6:34talking about those numbers. So all we have to do is go back
- 6:37to Weimar Germany and you know figure out how many zeros we can
- 6:40add before the system breaks. But in terms of the total
- 6:44household debt is at 17.29 trillion and it rose 1.3% in Q3
- 6:51alone. Mortgage balances 12.14 trillion
- 6:55Credit card debt. This is startling.
- 6:57One point O 8 trillion with one in 10 borrowers in what's called
- 7:01persistent debt, meaning where the interest and fees that are
- 7:06accrued go up faster than the minimum monthly payment.
- 7:10That number was it just an interest last year was 105
- 7:14billion in interest last year at a 16% average rate.
- 7:18However, that number has picked up dramatically and both with
- 7:21the increase in credit card debt and the increase in interest to
- 7:25average of 21%. But 2530% isn't out of the
- 7:30question for a lot of people. You know we're probably talking
- 7:32to 300 billion just in interest. So this is going to quickly
- 7:36catch up and I think you know I think Americans are living, you
- 7:41know the the the Yolo you only live once you know running to
- 7:46the stores this year, shopping, buying whatever they can.
- 7:49I think people are at a point where they're just, you know,
- 7:52buying what they want to buy. Student loans, 1.6 trillion.
- 7:56And mind you, the federal government looks at student
- 7:58loans as an asset. It's the government's largest
- 8:02asset. Go figure.
- 8:03So of course they don't want to change the system because, you
- 8:06know, that's how they play the game.
- 8:08Auto loans, 1.6 trillion. And bear in mind, all these
- 8:12numbers are rising. They're not going down.
- 8:13No one's talking about it. You know Peter St. owns recently
- 8:18came out and said that Germany's repatriation after World War One
- 8:21was the equivalent to adding 90 trillion to today's debt load.
- 8:27So from that just that standpoint alone, you know we're
- 8:30we're quickly getting to a point now where that number is already
- 8:34higher in the United States. When you factor in federal debt,
- 8:37consumer debt, corporate debt, all the different forms of debt
- 8:41out there is, you know, going to be, well more.
- 8:43In fact it's I had to figure up here 307 trillion in total
- 8:49global debt, which is up 100 trillion since 2012.
- 8:54You know, currency, Fiat currency doesn't go to money
- 8:57heaven, it just gets redistributed.
- 9:00And you know, when when people figure out that you each each
- 9:04individual creates their own money in this system.
- 9:08So if you can be the first one to spend that money, that's
- 9:10called the Cantalon effect. CANTILLON effect.
- 9:15And what that means is that the first person that brings new
- 9:17money into the system gets to reap the most rewards from that
- 9:22currency. Which is why I'm not, I'm not a
- 9:24fan of Dave Ramsey or paying down your mortgage because you
- 9:28have to abide by the rules of the game.
- 9:31If the rules of the game were gold and silver, then yeah, you
- 9:34know pay down your debt. You know be the responsible one.
- 9:38You know, and I and I was very blessed to kind of figure that
- 9:40out at a pretty young age that you know just load up on debt
- 9:44and as long as you can manage it that helps build your credit
- 9:46score. And then as you build your
- 9:47credit score the banks just want to throw money at you all the
- 9:51time when but that and that's the system that we live in And
- 9:55you know people like Pat Holland that came on your show recently
- 9:58that said hey here's what you can do.
- 10:00You can go talk to your state legislatures and you know, have
- 10:05changed the system, you know, and I'm fortunate enough to live
- 10:07in New Hampshire and I was actually going to put a
- 10:12challenge out to your viewers and give them some homework.
- 10:15I'd love to connect with Jim Forsyth of Citizens for Sound
- 10:19Money. He's, yeah, Pat mentioned him
- 10:22and I think he's doing fantastic work.
- 10:25But I really want to take this to the next level.
- 10:27So you know, if your viewers will reach out to Jim.
- 10:30I have a 10 oz silver bar form just to talk to him and say
- 10:34thank you so your viewers can reach him.
- 10:37It's citizens the number four. So CITIZENS the number 4 sound
- 10:44money.org. And I think that's going to be
- 10:47critical because other states are going to be looking at
- 10:51models to replicate. And I think Texas is it.
- 10:55It's a good start, but I I'm actually a proponent that every
- 11:00county should have a smaller depository and spread out the
- 11:03depositories across the state. Every state has blighted areas,
- 11:08areas that need economic recovery.
- 11:12In New Hampshire, I would look at places like Berlin, New
- 11:15Hampshire, which is in COAS county, it's in a very depressed
- 11:18area. There used to be a paper mill
- 11:20there that shut down one of the few major employers there is the
- 11:23state in the state prison. There's other places around New
- 11:27Hampshire like Claremont which are very depressed, you know, so
- 11:31I would kind of take it one step further and say that's great
- 11:33that we have this idea and this vision, but let's take it one
- 11:36step further and let's make it our own.
- 11:39I think most pensioners are aware that the system is very
- 11:43insolvent. New Hampshire has one of the
- 11:46worst pension systems. I mean, they're all pretty bad,
- 11:49but New Hampshire is exceptionally horrendous.
- 11:52And if these pensioners want to save their future wealth, then
- 11:56they should be demanding that these gold and silver bullying
- 12:01depositories be created because in in essence, they really
- 12:04should be created for the state, which is for the people.
- 12:07And so if you know which is what the state of Texas did as part
- 12:10of the Texas retirement system, that's the whole reason the
- 12:13Texas bullying depository even was formed, because Texas was
- 12:17sick of paying BlackRock management fees for holding
- 12:21paper gold. So they said, well screw that,
- 12:23we're just going to build our own bullying depository.
- 12:25And I think they brought it's a billion or 2 billion worth of
- 12:28gold back into the Texas Billing Depository and a lot of that
- 12:32went for the pensioners in Texas.
- 12:35So we don't want this to be too late because you know, as Andy
- 12:39Schechtman has said, it's, you know, things are going, things
- 12:42are going and then boom, it's just going to happen all of a
- 12:43sudden. And states need to really start
- 12:46that process now sooner rather than later.
- 12:49If you're looking to buy gold, silver, or platinum, do yourself
- 12:53a favor and check out Pinbex, the online precious metals
- 12:57bullion dealer and sponsor of Ron's Basement.
- 13:00I was a happy customer before they offered to support the
- 13:04channel. You'll find they have the best
- 13:06prices, quality, and service. I think Pinbex is best and you
- 13:11will too. And be sure to tell him that
- 13:13you're from Ron's basement and Andy Scheckman likes to use the
- 13:17example of of Jenga. You know that game where you
- 13:20stack up all the wood blocks and you keep pushing on and then
- 13:23boom, it just happened suddenly. I want to circle back to
- 13:26something that that that you said earlier regarding the
- 13:32Monopoly game. The analogy I like to use is,
- 13:34you know, if you and I and our viewer, who's with us now, and a
- 13:38few other guys got together to play a game of poker.
- 13:42And we all sit down and all of us brought $100 each.
- 13:45But you you know being Mr. Moneybags show up with $100,000
- 13:50to play poker. We're all gonna be like, sorry,
- 13:53we're not gonna. We're done.
- 13:54You know, you talked about people just throwing the
- 13:56monopoly board up in the air and it feels like we could be
- 14:01getting not to go down the the the subject matter of wealth
- 14:04distribution in this country, but it feels like.
- 14:07With the middle class struggling, everybody
- 14:09struggling, who's not part of the .5% that that people are
- 14:15growing very frustrated and we could see some social issues
- 14:19erupting in the in the coming year as well.
- 14:22You know, you also said something that fascinated me
- 14:24that I was not aware of and correct me if I'm wrong, but we
- 14:29know there's this massive amount of credit, there's a lot of
- 14:32debt, period. But we know just if we zoom in
- 14:34on credit card debt, there's this massive.
- 14:37Record level of credit card debt now in this country, right.
- 14:40And the consumer is the what 70% of the US economy.
- 14:44I hear a different, you know the we're a consumer based economy.
- 14:48But you said that one in 10 people and you had a specific
- 14:51term for it were in a financial situation.
- 14:54Now with their credit card debt where the fees and interest were
- 14:58bigger than what they were paying on a monthly basis.
- 15:02Correct me if I'm wrong Daniel, but whatever you called it, I
- 15:04would call that a doom loop. That.
- 15:07That they're right. I mean, yeah, the technical term
- 15:10is persistent debt. But yeah, a vicious doom loop.
- 15:13And unless something major happens, most of those people
- 15:16are gonna eventually end up in some kind of default.
- 15:20Unless they get bailed out by a parent, you know, a family
- 15:23member inheritance, you know, and that's and the credit card
- 15:26companies rely on those, you know, on the generosity of
- 15:30others or you know, you spin the wheel.
- 15:32You get lucky once in a while. The credit card companies know
- 15:34if they issue you know 100 billion in what they view as bad
- 15:38debt meaning they don't really expect to get any of it back
- 15:42that eventually over time they'll they'll collect 20 or
- 15:45$0.30 on the dollar through through various ways and you
- 15:49know and and people's goodwill may they want us.
- 15:51Most people want to eventually settle their debt you know as
- 15:55they should. You know being in that mindset
- 15:57of just taking on debt and then not paying it back that's, you
- 16:00know that's not good. I've heard people say oh I'm
- 16:02going to buy silver on credit card, that that's a really bad
- 16:06idea. Unless, unless we're at the
- 16:10point where like Weimar Germany where prices are doubling every
- 16:12day or something. Which at that point who knows if
- 16:15the credit cards will even work. Yeah, Yeah.
- 16:18Well, in the in the interest rates on credit cards are
- 16:20variable as well, right. So even if we do get into a. 50%
- 16:26interest rate environment, 60% they can just keep adjusting
- 16:29those rates higher and higher on people.
- 16:32Not a pretty situation when we look out into the future and we
- 16:39think about the silver and gold price and we think about.
- 16:44Geopolitical worldwide changes that are going on, we have D
- 16:47dollarization which is a generally you know an accepted
- 16:53fact that that's occurring right now, the Petro dollar situation
- 16:58as well. What do do do you think that we
- 17:01are entering a, a new paradigm or a new environment both
- 17:06economically but also for the precious metals right now?
- 17:10Yeah, absolutely. Yeah.
- 17:11There's. And I and I saw that fundamental
- 17:13shift, believe it or not, in mining stocks.
- 17:16And I I like watching mining stocks because it gives me a
- 17:20very good indication as to where we're at in the cycle because
- 17:23there's these periods of exuberance and then these
- 17:26periods of just very long depression.
- 17:29There's no other way to put it as you know you know and maybe
- 17:33I'll start a money management service.
- 17:34I don't know. I just I I have a knack for it.
- 17:36I I use a, you know for my own personal self.
- 17:38I use kind of a three prong approach.
- 17:40I use fundamentals. I use technicals and I use it my
- 17:43own intuition. So I've actually been, you know
- 17:47I've actually been sitting on the sidelines for quite a while
- 17:49and I actually pretty much I won't say all in, but I, I made
- 17:53significant investments in precious metals stocks including
- 17:56first mining for Full disclosure on October 26th which as of
- 18:01right now that seems to have been pretty good timing.
- 18:04And I think they're, I think this is just I think we hit a
- 18:06bottom and the sentiment got to a point where I think I read
- 18:11something that the top two stocks I think it's Microsoft
- 18:14and maybe Google just those two market caps were 70 times the
- 18:20total of all of the mining stocks.
- 18:23The all the value in all the mining stocks that what world do
- 18:26we live in that makes no sense at all and you know.
- 18:31Another, I mean another and that and that's your and that's my
- 18:33intuition talking. And and and another statistic
- 18:37that I've heard in regards to this and as it relates to the
- 18:40silver and gold price and sentiment with the miners is
- 18:43that the entire market cap of the precious metals mining
- 18:47sector worldwide was smaller than Home Depot, which blew me
- 18:52away and and you know. There's, I agree with you, the
- 18:57sentiment had reached a a horrific state and it seems like
- 19:03now I guess it's almost been a month ago, but that does matter
- 19:07for the actual prices of the metals as well in my opinion.
- 19:11You know there it it to me it's one of the best barometers that
- 19:14we have regarding. How people feel about precious
- 19:19metals and I talked to a lot of the CEOs and they all said the
- 19:22same thing. Like you know we thought it
- 19:23couldn't get worse a year ago, but it did get a little worse
- 19:27even. But like volume on the on the
- 19:31Toronto Stock Exchange where many of these mining stocks are
- 19:34traded was at like you know 20 or 30 year lows.
- 19:38There were like no IPOs during the year, which was like a
- 19:41record of all time. So, you know, I think the good
- 19:45thing. And I'm gonna get your opinion
- 19:47on this Daniel, 'cause I this is, this is something that
- 19:49excites me and I think probably our viewers as well because
- 19:53they're all, you know, investors to 1° or another.
- 19:56And either the metals or the mining stocks is that if we look
- 19:59at gold, and as we record this on Tuesday morning, November
- 20:0428th, gold is above $2000 per oz.
- 20:09That we are approaching. We are within a stone's throw of
- 20:13a new all time high for gold. If we get a new all time high,
- 20:17it just blows my mind. If we get a new all time high in
- 20:20the gold price and we do that with this sentiment that we
- 20:25currently have, what happens if we get just the slightest
- 20:29improvement and sentiment? First, Mining Gold is a
- 20:32development company advancing two of the largest gold projects
- 20:36in Canada, Spring Pole in Ontario and Duparque located in
- 20:41Quebec. Each already has 5 million
- 20:44ounces of gold reserves, but exploration initiatives are
- 20:48underway at both projects to find even more gold.
- 20:53First, mining is well financed, has zero debt and owns an
- 20:57interest in four additional Canadian Gold development
- 21:00projects. The technicals actually drive a
- 21:03significant amount of the market right now, and specifically
- 21:05computer algorithm trading, and I've listened to multiple people
- 21:09and they've pretty much all said if we get past 2100, these
- 21:11technical indicators are going to tell the computers to just
- 21:14start buying. Like mad.
- 21:17And that's so essentially what we're seeing is an unheard of
- 21:21quadruple potential, quadruple top.
- 21:23We've already seen a triple top in gold, but we're, you know,
- 21:26we're we're going to hit a quadruple top and then it's just
- 21:29going to either be new all time high or they're going to try to
- 21:31smash the price down again. Every time they smash the price
- 21:34down, they're using ammunition behind the scenes through the
- 21:38New York Fed's Emergency Stabilization Fund.
- 21:42And there comes a point where they're only going to have.
- 21:45So much ammunition before they say, OK, it's time to pull up
- 21:48the big guns. And that's when they start
- 21:49printing 5 trillion, 10 trillion.
- 21:51And then where? Where does the price?
- 21:53I mean, they're they're stuck. They're stuck between a literal
- 21:55rock and a hard place because they're damned if they do and
- 21:58they're damned if they don't. And the more.
- 22:00But but the key here is more people need to wake up to what
- 22:04they're doing, what the game is, and then how to fight.
- 22:07And you can fight by just buying physical precious metals by
- 22:11buying mining stocks. Talking to other people about
- 22:14it, you know, and nothing gets, you know, all these traders more
- 22:17excited than seeing returns. And you know some of the returns
- 22:20I'm seeing 20 or 30% in the last 30 days, which that doesn't
- 22:24happen forever. They'll be a little.
- 22:26I actually prefer to see corrections and then have things
- 22:29go up more slowly. When you see these parabolic
- 22:31rises, I forget who said it, but someone said if you see a 45°
- 22:36angle. In a stock, it's it's it's
- 22:39probably fraud. So when you get these massive
- 22:42spikes, they're they're really not, not natural and in a lot of
- 22:46ways, you know, but for something like silver, we really
- 22:51need to kind of stay above 30 for multiple days.
- 22:53But I don't think we're going to get there until gold is
- 22:56consistently over 2100. Now when gold gets to, you know.
- 23:00When gold gets to, you know, 2101.
- 23:04It's, it's game on. And then that's when the algos
- 23:07will start buying and that's when silver will really take
- 23:10off. I think silver will just smash
- 23:12through 30 at that point and really there's very little
- 23:14resistance from 30 up to right around 45 and then you'll start
- 23:18to see people starting to sell then.
- 23:21But totally different dynamic than than where we were back in,
- 23:24you know, 2011, 2012, Totally different.
- 23:27Yeah. And and and you know much more
- 23:29about this than I do. So I want to circle back again
- 23:32to something you said, because I've heard other people say this
- 23:35as well, that we are approaching what's called a quad top.
- 23:40Is that the term you used in the gold price or that's the fourth
- 23:43time. Basically this will be the 4th
- 23:45time that gold attempts to breakthrough, let's say the 2100
- 23:49range and that Triple tops are very unusual and quadruple tops
- 23:56are almost unheard of. That meaning that if it gets up
- 24:00there again, statistically speaking, it should, it should
- 24:04keep going. Yeah.
- 24:06I mean typically in in technical terms.
- 24:09The double top is usually pretty well defined, especially after
- 24:12it plays out. But to see a triple top and then
- 24:15potentially this quad quadruple top is just it's unprecedented
- 24:20and it's something that everybody should be watching
- 24:22very closely because we're at a, we're at a point now where the
- 24:26the the whole economic system is is about to break, but no one
- 24:30knows how it's going to break. We I think a lot of people just
- 24:33intuitively know something's really wrong.
- 24:35Something really big is about to happen.
- 24:38Potentially something very, you know, breaking very bad.
- 24:42But but we don't necessarily know exactly what it is.
- 24:45How about the the the the demise of the Petro dollar.
- 24:48How about, you know, record money printing like like we know
- 24:53and I hear not to go back to Andy Scheckman.
- 24:55Andy Scheckman says, you know, like you there there's crumbs
- 24:57and hints all around. They're never gonna tell us
- 25:00what's wrong. We know there's a ton of
- 25:02garbage. We've you have not even talked
- 25:04about the banking sector. The I heard Lynette Zang say
- 25:08this the other day that the these banks have a ton of.
- 25:11They're hiding a ton of garbage, right?
- 25:14I mean, I have a I'm an accountant.
- 25:15The bank. Well, you.
- 25:17Know how they. Well, you know how they hide it
- 25:19through Sarbanes-Oxley. Yeah.
- 25:21When that got pushed through in in O2.
- 25:25And mind you, who was the main architect of that was none other
- 25:27than Andrew Weissman. Who?
- 25:29Single handedly shut down Enron and Arthur Anderson.
- 25:32And, you know, they've been able to essentially lock out the big
- 25:36players at, you know, by basically making them pick, you
- 25:41know, one of the major 4 auditing companies.
- 25:44And then from there, it's it, it's a black box.
- 25:46Note, you know, no one gets in. Everything's compartmentalized.
- 25:49Even if you work at those institutions, you know you're
- 25:52highly compartmentalized to a specific division.
- 25:55Or you're focusing on some certain mutual fund.
- 25:57It's, you know very few people have kind of the big picture on,
- 26:00you know what's going on behind the scenes that but a lot of
- 26:02those accounting firms are hiding a lot of skeletons and
- 26:06but you know they're they're big enough where they can take on
- 26:10the IRS and they just bog down the IRS until you know, the
- 26:14statute of limitations runs out. Yeah, yeah.
- 26:17I heard a term and this was 15 years ago right after the
- 26:21financial crisis that described what was going on at the banks
- 26:27and I think it's even going on more so now as Disneyland
- 26:31accounting. You know make believe we don't
- 26:33have to you know we'll we'll hold these treasuries that were
- 26:36down 44% on we're going to hold them till maturity.
- 26:40So we're not going to recognize that we're in the hole.
- 26:42I mean, it would be like you or or I as the, you know, the head
- 26:46of our households, you know, making a bunch of bad
- 26:50investments and losing 4050% of our wealth and and and on paper,
- 26:55right, And saying, well, it's OK, 'cause I'm gonna hold it
- 26:58forever and eventually, you know, I mean the, the, the, the,
- 27:01the troubles are there. And with the banks it's even
- 27:03more pronounced. And I know we're not gonna go
- 27:05into a deep discussion about banks, but but people, the
- 27:10depositors think that money is there.
- 27:12And in many cases, whether it's commercial real estate or
- 27:15treasury, it's not. I mean if if they went and asked
- 27:18for it, it's gone, yeah. And they play and they play by
- 27:20different rules. It's it's rules for the and not
- 27:22for me is how the banks look at it.
- 27:24So it would be one thing if everyone played by the same
- 27:26rules, but more and more people are waking up to the fact that
- 27:29that they don't play by the same rules.
- 27:31And you know when you make a deposit at any commercial bank.
- 27:36You know you're you're, you're turning over your currency to
- 27:39them. Now it's a liability.
- 27:40So now they owe it to you and they're going to go lend it out,
- 27:43you know 7-8, nine times over because of banking rules.
- 27:46They don't have to keep much if any on hand.
- 27:50And the Fed has just perpetuated that taking in collateral at 100
- 27:55and cents on the dollar and and then loaning them money for a
- 27:59year. Well, guess what it's been, it's
- 28:00been a year. So a lot of these banks come
- 28:02next March. I think that's when they made a
- 28:04lot of the loans was last March when when First Republic in
- 28:09Silicon Valley went down. But if you recall, they were
- 28:13basically between March and March, April, May, maybe June,
- 28:16they were giving these banks all these different loans at 100
- 28:20cents on the dollar. Well, those are going to come
- 28:21due next year and we have the, I'll jump back into the
- 28:26trillions again because I think it's kind of fun.
- 28:28So there's 17.34 trillion in commercial bank deposits, which
- 28:32is really liability. It of that we're looking at 128
- 28:38billion that's in the FDIC fund. So there's $8 for every thousand
- 28:43of insured deposits there. We've spent 7 trillion on never
- 28:48ending wars to feed the military industrial complex, 8 trillion
- 28:52and maturing U.S. Treasury bills and notes between
- 28:55now and 2025. And yeah, so when you ask about
- 28:59inflation, you know, I you know someone, I heard that.
- 29:03Tavi Costa, he talks about the three wave inflation theory.
- 29:07I think we're, you know, we're definitely either about to hit
- 29:10the second one or potentially even about to hit the third one.
- 29:13So we're kind of in this relative calm.
- 29:16But as soon as the money printers start going, you know
- 29:19it's kind of a case of OK who, you know when they print money,
- 29:21who gets it. Everybody, you know, everybody
- 29:25ultimately gets it. It's just a matter of who and
- 29:29and when. And you know, when that happens,
- 29:31that's. I mean that's when the cost of
- 29:33goods is you're going to go to Home Depot or you're going to go
- 29:35to the grocery store and you're just going to give up.
- 29:38You're going to be like I, you know, I, yeah.
- 29:40So it's yeah. So preparing your home now
- 29:42though, because that's when gold and silver are going to really
- 29:44take off because at that point, you know, the genies out of the
- 29:48bottle, there's no whole. I'd personally, in my opinion,
- 29:51there's really no holding it back at that point.
- 29:53I don't know what kind of tools the Fed says they have that they
- 29:56can quash the price of gold and silver again, could they?
- 30:00Maybe. But.
- 30:02You know, the men at the Alamo, they died trying, right?
- 30:05So I mean, we got a, we got a try.
- 30:07And you know, if that means you're in the red for a little
- 30:09while, then you know, you just have to have that psychological
- 30:12mindset of a general to hang on and you know and keep fighting
- 30:16and and to me, the gold and silver is the best way to fight.
- 30:20You know if if they want to keep printing money, I'm.
- 30:22You know I think next year some people might be at the point
- 30:25where like Jesus talks about you know what if he wants, if he
- 30:28wants my tunic, take my tunic. You know if if they want to
- 30:31reap, if they want to do reparations and start printing
- 30:33money, OK, go ahead and print money see what happens.
- 30:35You know all these MMT people, You know, we can fight and fight
- 30:38and fight, but there may come a point where we might say, you
- 30:41know, what if if we just let them print whatever money they
- 30:43want, then maybe we get that much closer and people will
- 30:46quickly recognize. We also need that we also need
- 30:49effective tools such as bridge for asset backed digital
- 30:53currency. It's not a CBDCCBDC is central
- 30:56bank digital currency. So you want to get your
- 30:58terminology correct. ABDC is an asset backed digital
- 31:02currency. So I would prefer to see states
- 31:05issue them through the Boeing depositories, you know, So if I
- 31:08were running a treasury, you know, I would want to have
- 31:11digital gold, digital silver that's custodied, you know, and
- 31:15issued by a certain state. Because I think that's really
- 31:18the only way and you can fight these tyrants.
- 31:20And I you know listening to you and Pat Holland, I am actually.
- 31:24I actually agree with him in the sense that you know the federal
- 31:27government is this 5 headed hydra that is just almost
- 31:31impossible to take down. It's it's literally the remnants
- 31:33of Satan. And how do we fight it.
- 31:35Well it's it's it's by the states because you know the
- 31:38government is we is supposed to be we the people and we've
- 31:42usurped that and given, you know our rights away to other people
- 31:45who are then. Squandering them.
- 31:47So we need to take that back and and I do believe that states do
- 31:51have a very effective role. You know if if Missouri is a
- 31:55state that is known as, you know, rock solid, you know you
- 32:00it's a place you can trust or there's another asset backed
- 32:03digital currency option in the state of California.
- 32:05Do you think anyone's going to buy that one?
- 32:06You know, if if Governor Newsom is still in office, I don't, I
- 32:09don't think anyone's going to go with that.
- 32:11So, you know, it's up to individuals within the states to
- 32:14push the legislation. To get these bullying
- 32:17depositories and it doesn't have to be this monstrosity like I
- 32:22mentioned before, I mean Texas spent hundreds of millions of
- 32:25dollars. It's a it's an absolutely
- 32:26massive facility, but these facilities can be smaller in
- 32:30nature and designed for the needs of the people.
- 32:33It should be designed for the people in that state.
- 32:36And then if other people want to join in, then, well, that's
- 32:37great because then we can just like a toll.
- 32:40You can collect additional toll and New Hampshire is actually,
- 32:43you know one of the most favorable states when it comes
- 32:46to banking laws and trust laws. We're, you know, we're we're far
- 32:50better than Panama when it comes to helping people hide wealth
- 32:53from tyrants. Other states include South
- 32:56Dakota and Nevada. So there's a handful of states
- 32:58out there that do that do a very effective job at helping people
- 33:03shelter assets whether that's good or bad, I mean that's the
- 33:06system that that we live in. But ultimately it is up to each
- 33:09state. You know, so if inflation does
- 33:11go crazy, but most of the people in the state of New Hampshire
- 33:14either have gold or silver in some form or they have a pension
- 33:17that they can get paid in gold and silver.
- 33:20You know, I think a lot of your viewers that are collecting
- 33:22pensions would would love that because if their Social Security
- 33:26is their, the value of their Social Security goes down every
- 33:29single year because the cost of the cost of the COLA cost of
- 33:33living adjustment is always, always less than what real
- 33:37inflation is. And we know real inflation
- 33:40numbers through places like Shadow Stats, you know, So if if
- 33:44pensions can help protect their people, which is what it's
- 33:46supposed to do, that'll go a long way towards fighting these
- 33:49tyrants. Yeah, yeah.
- 33:52And. Sorry that was a little long
- 33:53handed. But I felt like that needed to
- 33:54come out. Yeah well and and it and it's I
- 33:57I think the only potential way for the current system to be
- 34:01perpetuated is by inflating away the debt and that certainly a
- 34:06good thing for the value right the real value of precious
- 34:11metals. It feels like to me that the
- 34:14we're at A at a point in time where the hens have come home to
- 34:17roost right where where mathematics shows no forgiveness
- 34:21on the altar of truth. I love that saying that that and
- 34:27I want to, I want to ask you one last question.
- 34:29It feels like to me over the last 50 years, this Wizard of Oz
- 34:33fantasy scenario that we've seen play out has worked because the
- 34:39United States enjoyed this hegemony position in the world.
- 34:45We were the, we were the world power, right.
- 34:47I mean, you know we were in a very favorable environment for
- 34:52the United States of America. And it feels like to me, if I
- 34:55just want could limit it down to the last three years that we've
- 34:59seen some real fundamental shifts.
- 35:01So when we look out at the next 50 years and that we're now
- 35:05starting with this unbelievable all this debt that you that you
- 35:09outlined for us, right. And we're starting with
- 35:13political chaos in this country, and we're starting with what
- 35:17feels like social chaos in this country, that the next I don't
- 35:20wanna be a doom and gloomer, but it feels like the next 50 years
- 35:23aren't gonna be anything like the last 50 years.
- 35:28For some, for some states, you know, I, I view it as every
- 35:31state's going to have an opportunity to make a stand
- 35:34against this federal government and to decide what they want for
- 35:37for their people. So they're in. 50 years from
- 35:39now, there's going to be some states that are going to look
- 35:42like Venezuela, and there's other good states that are going
- 35:44to look like Qatar, you know, a small country in the Middle East
- 35:48with vast amounts of wealth. I mean, why, You know, why can't
- 35:51New Hampshire be a bastion of freedom?
- 35:54You know, even if. You know, Taxachusetts is
- 35:57withering away into oblivion because they don't know how to
- 36:00treat their people nicely. And people want to move to New
- 36:02Hampshire instead, and they bring their gold and silver and
- 36:04we can live prosperously while they live, you know, in decay.
- 36:08Then who's who's stopping that other than we, the people.
- 36:11So, you know, I, I, I see a world that's bifurcating.
- 36:15You know, the federal government is most likely going to
- 36:18hyperinflate away its debt. It it always takes longer than
- 36:22people. I think as in looking back in
- 36:24history we can always look back and say well that's taking
- 36:27longer, but we're at the point now where 2024 I think is is
- 36:31going to be a massive year, lots of change.
- 36:34And you know for me and my clients and anyone willing to
- 36:37listen, you know investing in you know places like oil which I
- 36:41I work for an oil and gas exploration and production
- 36:45company. So I wanted to align myself
- 36:48where the future cash flow could be denominated in.
- 36:52You know, digital gold, digital silver or or an easy mechanism
- 36:57to say, hey, would you like your dividend?
- 36:58You're going to get your dividend in dollars, but you can
- 37:00easily exchange it into digital gold and silver.
- 37:04Most companies aren't going to have that ability to do that.
- 37:07Like a retailer, A retailer is collect unless they're
- 37:09collecting gold and silver, which they're probably not.
- 37:12You know, a lot of industries are going to be challenged by
- 37:16that, but if you buy energy stocks, you know could be.
- 37:19And it could be public companies.
- 37:20It could be private companies. If they start accepting, you
- 37:23know, if they're selling their oil and gas to market and
- 37:25they're accepting gold, you know, as as Zoltan Poznar said
- 37:30that the exchange mechanism of 1g of gold for one barrel of oil
- 37:37or the price could be different depending on the country.
- 37:39So if Russia says yeah, we'll we'll sell United States gold
- 37:42for for and it's going to be 3G per barrel.
- 37:47You know, if new, if New Hampshire's sitting there
- 37:50saying, well, you know, we have plenty of gold, sure we'll buy
- 37:52some. You know, it's whatever we make
- 37:55it, you know, out to be. Yeah, ultimately we'd love to
- 37:58fix the federal government, but it's just it's gotten so large,
- 38:02no one really has a grasp of like how big this thing actually
- 38:05is. And that's my biggest issue.
- 38:07And you know, if we can take control of our own personal
- 38:11economies. That's to me, that's really the
- 38:15the best way out of this. And then if you know, same thing
- 38:18with Missouri, if you know you and Pat and everybody else is
- 38:21saying, look, you know here here's the lifeboat and you're
- 38:23throwing the raft to them and you're saying, look, get on, get
- 38:25on, get on, let's go. Eventually people are going to
- 38:28be kind of looking around and then they're going to say, oh,
- 38:31Sue, you know, Susie, my neighbor, she's, she's doing
- 38:34that and they're doing and then before they know it now, if they
- 38:36hear it enough times. They're going to be running,
- 38:40right? We want 2024 to be that year
- 38:42where they're all running to the life raft.
- 38:46So that's. Yeah.
- 38:47Because. Because now because now I think
- 38:49sometimes to a certain degree we can be perceived as the little
- 38:53boy who cried wolf, right. Like, oh, you know, and and,
- 38:56but, but yes, at some point, if things change, right?
- 39:01And the boat's only so big. You know, I like to use the
- 39:04analogy of just look back to the the March, April little banking
- 39:09crisis that we had that they papered over very quickly and
- 39:13conveniently. You in Saint Louis, you couldn't
- 39:16go to a coin shop and find any silver and they were telling you
- 39:20you'd have to wait three or four weeks.
- 39:22The other thing I want to throw in there is is, you know, I feel
- 39:26like I'm preparing right where you and I are out with our
- 39:29binoculars looking out into the future and like, oh, that
- 39:33doesn't look so good. But even at the same time it
- 39:36it's it's I can still in the present moment still you know
- 39:41function normally in this society and have a good life but
- 39:45at the same time be preparing right.
- 39:48It's not like it's it's it's one or the other it's you know hey
- 39:52I'm you know we're doing good we're having a good a good.
- 39:54But I want to make sure that that that I feel like you know
- 39:58what I believe is to be prepared for what what might be coming.
- 40:02Everybody's going to have a different level of preparedness.
- 40:04There is no one shoe fits all approach, you know, as I was a
- 40:09financial advisor for a long time as you know and I and I got
- 40:11rid of my Series 7 because I felt it was more of a burden.
- 40:14And I couldn't say what I wanted to say.
- 40:16But you know, people really need to start taking the initiative
- 40:20and assessing their own situation.
- 40:22You know, as opposed to someone, you know someone's trying to
- 40:24sell you something. Oh, buy buy all this food for 25
- 40:27years. Well, you can only have so much
- 40:29food for 25 years unless God is telling you buy a warehouse and
- 40:32store food because I need you to.
- 40:34He's only going to call specific people to do certain things.
- 40:37And, you know, I recently came to terms with that were, you
- 40:39know, I I felt the spirit of the Lord over me.
- 40:41And he said, you've prepared enough now just kind of live,
- 40:45live it out and be a teacher to others.
- 40:47So everybody, you know, somebody might have been prepared two
- 40:49years ago and said, Yep, I got my bunker, I got my food, I got
- 40:52my private, well, you know, I got, you know, solar, whatever
- 40:55the case is, you know, whatever God's telling you to do, OK, I'm
- 40:58fully prepared now. I can go out and help others.
- 41:01And that's when I, you know, and that's where I'm at at this
- 41:03point, is helping, helping others.
- 41:06But yeah, well, you know, Missouri will be OK.
- 41:08New Hampshire will be OK. Some states I'm much more
- 41:11concerned with than than others. But I think at the end of the
- 41:15day, when there's a crisis, you see the best of people.
- 41:20You're a wealth strategist and I put links up to your website
- 41:26danieltinkum.com several Times Now during the video on the
- 41:30bottom of the screen. As part of that, as part of
- 41:33preparing by buying real assets things like silver, gold, you're
- 41:37also involved with an oil, oil and gas exploration company,
- 41:42King Operating. What's what's what's what's the,
- 41:46what's the situation with that opportunity?
- 41:49Yep. So I work for King Operating.
- 41:50We're based out of Dallas, TX. We're in the production or
- 41:53exploration and production of oil and gas.
- 41:57We have multiple basins of focus.
- 41:59We've already raised $125 million this year, and the fund
- 42:03will close once we raise 200 million.
- 42:07You know, really from from that standpoint where, you know,
- 42:10because of government regulations, we're only allowed
- 42:12to work with accredited investors, meaning your net
- 42:15worth is at least a million or more, excluding the value of
- 42:18your primary residence. Or if you're single and you make
- 42:21200,000 a year for the last two years, or if you're married
- 42:25filing jointly and you make 300,000 a year over the last two
- 42:29years, you know, then, then the SEC says, OK, now you're allowed
- 42:33to invest in even things like that.
- 42:36You know it it frustrates me, but I I can see the point in
- 42:39protecting investors. You know, but at the same time
- 42:42too, if someone wants to put a little bit of their allocation
- 42:45and you know, I I have to tell people all the time, sorry, you
- 42:48can't invest because the government tells me you can't.
- 42:52But you know that's those are the rules we live in.
- 42:54But yeah we're we're we're projecting 8 to 12% annualized
- 42:59returns paid monthly from from our monthly passive income and
- 43:04so and there's also a significant tax write off as
- 43:07well you know. So from from that standpoint if
- 43:10anyone is interested they I can go through the presentation and
- 43:14send send you the PPM. So the two ways to contact me
- 43:19either through the website danieltinkham.com, so it's Dan
- 43:23i.e. LTIN kham.com you can also if
- 43:29you just want to e-mail me directly, it's
- 43:31info@danieltinkum.com. I'll also provide the phone
- 43:37number for King Operating. So if you're the kind of person
- 43:39that says, you know what, I would rather just pick up the
- 43:41phone and talk to someone, you know, you can call King
- 43:46Operating. Our, our assistant will answer.
- 43:49And even if it's just, hey, I saw Dan, he did a great job or
- 43:52whatever. Whatever you're compelled to do
- 43:53or if you're interested in, you know, learning more about our
- 43:56program that way. King's phone number is
- 43:58214-420-3000. That's 214-420-3000.
- 44:06OK. And they and they call oil black
- 44:09gold, right. So I imagine that if we do go
- 44:12into this environment where we see further deterioration in the
- 44:16value of the dollar and maybe we have some more inflation that
- 44:21likely we could see higher oil prices and potentially.
- 44:26Even higher returns for any company that's in the domestic
- 44:29oil and gas production arena. Yeah, So that you know where
- 44:34that's the goal right now. So one of our projects is in the
- 44:36Permian Basin. We have multiple wells drilled,
- 44:39all have hit oil. Our goal is to do 20 wells in
- 44:43that program. And our goal is really simple.
- 44:45It's our model is simple, it's we acquire, we develop and we
- 44:48divest. So, you know, I like analogies
- 44:51instead of tenants and toilets, it's oil and gas.
- 44:55So we're doing a lot of the same.
- 44:56You know, from an analogy standpoint, we're doing a lot of
- 44:59the same as if you bought an apartment building and you fixed
- 45:02it up, you did some structural work to it, fresh carpets, fresh
- 45:06paint, windows, boom. Now you get higher cash flow and
- 45:09the the property is worth more. We're doing the same thing.
- 45:13We're going into under appreciated areas in
- 45:16neighborhoods with old wells that are 2030 years old.
- 45:19But instead of refacing them or reworking them with the
- 45:23borewell, which is essentially a company that comes in, they
- 45:26don't have enough capital. So they try to come in and you
- 45:29know kind of like if you found a a, a bone with some meat on it,
- 45:32you're trying to pick away at whatever meat you can.
- 45:34We believe that that this area in particular has a lot of meat
- 45:37left on the bone. So we're coming in with advanced
- 45:40technology such as 3D seismic, which is essentially it's like
- 45:43an MRI and an X-ray on the land. We have land engineers, we have
- 45:48petroleum engineers. We have one of the best teams
- 45:50out there trying to strategically find the right
- 45:53places to drill and then we're using the most advanced
- 45:56technology, fracking. We're doing horizontal.
- 45:59I mean this is a major, you know this in terms of the size, this
- 46:03is one of the largest that I know of that is allowing retail
- 46:06investors to participate. If anyone knows of another
- 46:09retail focused fund, you know for accredited investors that
- 46:14has raised 125 million, please let me know because I don't
- 46:16know. Most of these are institutional
- 46:18only. These sorts of deals, you know,
- 46:22are typically reserved for for billionaires.
- 46:24But our founder Jay Young, you know, believes in the model.
- 46:27We've already proved the model to work where we can try to flip
- 46:30it within a few years. And in the meantime, while you
- 46:34sit on it, just like if you have an apartment building and you're
- 46:36collect, you know, you're collecting that monthly rent
- 46:38from the tenants. You know, while you sit to wait
- 46:40for us to flip it, you're getting that monthly cash flow
- 46:43from the, you know, from the sale of oil and gas.
- 46:45If the price of oil and gas goes up, your cash flow is going to
- 46:48go up. And then we also have teams that
- 46:50are going to be watching the markets closely and if things
- 46:54really start to break down trying to find mechanisms to
- 46:57potentially pay our investors in digital gold or digital silver
- 47:00as opposed to current, you know, just the, the, the Fiat currency
- 47:05and that's not imminent, but that is something that you know
- 47:08the executive team behind the scenes is, is starting to look
- 47:11at. So yeah, we, we want to be
- 47:13pioneers in the industry and if and if we're doing something a
- 47:16different way, there's other copycats that that we've already
- 47:19heard that are trying to come in and do something similar.
- 47:21So I'd imagine if we started paying dividends in digital gold
- 47:25and silver, I would imagine there would be lots of copycats
- 47:28which is kind of what we want. That's a that would be a
- 47:30compliment but of course there's there's always risks involved
- 47:34with with any projects so always do due diligence and you know
- 47:38and like I said we each person that reaches out will will
- 47:40provide the the the PPM which is all the fine print.
- 47:45Sounds good. And I guess you said they're
- 47:49pioneers. I just want to be real clear
- 47:51here. They're always welcome to come
- 47:53to Saint Louis and do some drilling here in my yard.
- 47:56If they, If they, yeah. Maybe, maybe do, maybe do the
- 48:03seismic work first. Now on a serious note, sounds
- 48:06sounds like a very interesting opportunity.
- 48:10Daniel, on on behalf of everyone who's joined us today, you're a
- 48:14wealth of knowledge and very generous with your time.
- 48:19Again, I'll put the links to how you can get in touch with Daniel
- 48:23and the description of this video and we'll look forward to
- 48:27talking to you next time. It's my pleasure.
- 48:29And again, you guys, don't forget to reach out to Jim
- 48:31Forsyth. I have a 10 oz.
- 48:32Bar from when we are able to meet up and I'd love to have a
- 48:36discussion with him about how I can help advance New Hampshire's
- 48:39interest as I'm a lifelong resident.
- 48:41I grew up in E Erie, New Hampshire, about 5 miles from
- 48:44Allen Shepherd's House, same town as Robert Frost, so deep
- 48:48roots here in New Hampshire. This is my home.
- 48:50I'm never leaving. I will die in my house if I have
- 48:53to, to stand against this tyranny.
- 48:55So I am more than happy to advance New Hampshire's best
- 48:59interests and happy to help anyone who's doing the same
- 49:02thing. Sounds great.
- 49:04Thanks, Dan. We'll talk to you soon.
- 49:06Thanks, Ron. It's a pleasure.
