0:00
Silver is going to be absolutely critical potentially for some of
0:04
you for your survival. And I don't want to be a
0:07
doomsdayer because on the other side I just see beautiful things
0:11
happening, but not before some rocky roads ahead.
0:15
And 2024 is going to be one of those years where.
0:22
Are we headed to new all time highs For the gold price?
0:26
For the silver price? There is so much going on right
0:29
now. Is the dollar doomed?
0:32
We have potential for runaway inflation.
0:35
We have major changes going on in the world today.
0:39
We're fortunate to be joined by Mr. Daniel Tinkham.
0:42
He's a wealth strategist and a wealth of knowledge when it
0:46
comes to precious metals and these big changes that are going
0:50
on all around us. You might feel a little crazy
0:54
with everything going on, but by the end of this video, hopefully
0:57
we'll provide you with some clarity.
0:59
Daniel, welcome back to Ron's Basement.
1:02
Ron, it's a pleasure. Thanks for having me on again
1:04
today. Well, it's you're you're a a
1:07
basement favorite and we we truly do appreciate you giving
1:11
us your time. I get a lot of messages you know
1:14
you and I are talking right now. But we have a third person with
1:17
us, our our viewer. And I get a lot of messages from
1:21
people saying things just feel crazy out there right now.
1:25
Any thoughts on what you see when you look out at the macro
1:28
environment? And of course, we'll at some
1:31
point tie that all back into precious metals.
1:34
Absolutely. You know what I see, Ron?
1:35
I see deception everywhere. There's constant, you know,
1:39
there's misinformation, disinformation, but not the kind
1:42
that the mainstream media tells you.
1:43
It's actually, you know, they sprinkle a lot of truth in
1:46
there, and then they push it out.
1:48
And it's really hard for people to discern what's truth and
1:53
what's not truth. And so really takes, you know,
1:57
each person to kind of take a step back, reflect, figure out,
2:01
OK, who am I? You know, who am I listening to?
2:04
We were all there when we were watching mainstream media,
2:06
myself included. And I said, you know what, I'm
2:08
going to remove myself from that.
2:10
And that was probably the best decision I ever made.
2:13
And I'm just seeking other truth seekers and, you know, building
2:18
your own ideas in your mind about what you think the world
2:22
should be and then taking action, you know, taking small
2:26
incremental steps to to better your life.
2:29
And if you can better your life, then you can serve others.
2:32
And I'm at a point now where since about 2017, that's really
2:35
when I changed my old ways, I personally found Jesus and you
2:40
know, and then I started living a life that I was proud of
2:43
through him. And for me that's that's worked.
2:47
But for every person you're going to have a different
2:49
spiritual journey. And whatever that journey is
2:51
that was meant for you, for me that that that includes stacking
2:56
physical precious metals. I can see what the system has
3:00
done because I've been behind the curtain.
3:02
I was behind the curtain for for a very long time.
3:06
You know the the old movie, The Wizard of Oz, OZ is oz.
3:11
So and that yellow brick road was gold.
3:13
Funny how they don't talk about silver that much in in The
3:16
Wizard of Oz, but silver is going to be absolutely critical,
3:21
potentially for some of you for your survival.
3:23
And I don't want to be a doomsdayer because on the other
3:26
side, I just see beautiful things happening, but not before
3:31
some rocky roads ahead. And 2024 is going to be one of
3:35
those years where all of a sudden you turn down a dirt road
3:38
and it just rained and you go, oh boy, here we go.
3:40
We're in for a bumpy ride. But if you've prepared your
3:44
vehicle, you have, you know, brand new tires, you know you're
3:48
prepared. You know the roads.
3:50
You'll get through it. I know you will, and I know your
3:52
viewers will. Now your viewers are going to be
3:54
responsible for helping a lot of other people in the coming
3:57
years. And you know, it very much seems
4:00
that a lot of your viewers are givers as opposed to takers.
4:03
And you know, so when those times do come, you know, myself
4:06
included, I'll be prepared to help others, you know, the way
4:09
God tells me to help them. Yeah, And you know, it's I think
4:14
it's natural that we feel a little confused and crazy from
4:17
time to time because we're not. Part of the mainstream, you
4:21
know, most of us that are silver and gold enthusiasts, stackers,
4:26
whatever we prefer to call ourselves.
4:29
You know, we are kind of digging in the dirt a little bit and
4:32
trying to figure out what's really going on.
4:34
And you referred to this kind of, you know, make believe, Land
4:38
of the Wizard of Oz. What's going on behind the
4:41
curtain? And and I think that, you know,
4:44
when I think about just the dollar in general, I mean the
4:47
dollar has turned into like fantasyland, right.
4:50
It's not backed by anything, but it was a lot different when the
4:54
dollar was backed by gold and backed by silver.
4:57
But you know, now we've seen that change, we're also seeing
5:00
some changes even with. The Petro dollar, because, you
5:04
know, when they took the dollar off the gold standard, they kind
5:07
of moved it to being backed by oil, but that's even changing
5:11
now. Any thoughts on that whole
5:13
scenario about what's going on with the dollar, the prospects
5:16
for even more inflation down the road?
5:20
Ron, I'm sure you've played the game Monopoly, and I'm sure a
5:23
lot of your viewers have played the game Monopoly.
5:25
We're at the point in the game where the banker is just
5:27
completely taken over and they're making all the rules and
5:30
everybody is forced to play. And at some point someone's
5:33
going to pick up the board and just throw it.
5:35
And I think that's going to happen next year.
5:38
People are realizing that, you know, like, like when you would
5:41
run out of money in Monopoly, somebody would just write, you
5:43
know, 100 or whatever and try to pass it through the system.
5:47
That's what's happening right now.
5:49
I I did a fun little game with myself.
5:51
I searched the word trillion in my e-mail inbox because I I
5:56
probably subscribed to about maybe 150 different
5:59
publications. And I said let's just see what's
6:02
what's in here. And within a couple minutes, you
6:04
know, I found some pretty startling information.
6:07
And this is probably a lot of your viewers are already
6:09
familiar with this, but I like to cover, I'd like to cover like
6:12
anything that I found that has a trillion in it.
6:14
And pretty soon it's going to be quadrillion.
6:17
You know, we're talking about that with derivatives right now,
6:19
but hopefully not in the not too distant future.
6:21
We're not talking about quadrillions like we, you know,
6:23
we used to talk about billions and now we're talking trillions.
6:26
And like you've said a trillion is a million million.
6:29
Well a quadrillion is 10 million million and we're already
6:34
talking about those numbers. So all we have to do is go back
6:37
to Weimar Germany and you know figure out how many zeros we can
6:40
add before the system breaks. But in terms of the total
6:44
household debt is at 17.29 trillion and it rose 1.3% in Q3
6:51
alone. Mortgage balances 12.14 trillion
6:55
Credit card debt. This is startling.
6:57
One point O 8 trillion with one in 10 borrowers in what's called
7:01
persistent debt, meaning where the interest and fees that are
7:06
accrued go up faster than the minimum monthly payment.
7:10
That number was it just an interest last year was 105
7:14
billion in interest last year at a 16% average rate.
7:18
However, that number has picked up dramatically and both with
7:21
the increase in credit card debt and the increase in interest to
7:25
average of 21%. But 2530% isn't out of the
7:30
question for a lot of people. You know we're probably talking
7:32
to 300 billion just in interest. So this is going to quickly
7:36
catch up and I think you know I think Americans are living, you
7:41
know the the the Yolo you only live once you know running to
7:46
the stores this year, shopping, buying whatever they can.
7:49
I think people are at a point where they're just, you know,
7:52
buying what they want to buy. Student loans, 1.6 trillion.
7:56
And mind you, the federal government looks at student
7:58
loans as an asset. It's the government's largest
8:02
asset. Go figure.
8:03
So of course they don't want to change the system because, you
8:06
know, that's how they play the game.
8:08
Auto loans, 1.6 trillion. And bear in mind, all these
8:12
numbers are rising. They're not going down.
8:13
No one's talking about it. You know Peter St. owns recently
8:18
came out and said that Germany's repatriation after World War One
8:21
was the equivalent to adding 90 trillion to today's debt load.
8:27
So from that just that standpoint alone, you know we're
8:30
we're quickly getting to a point now where that number is already
8:34
higher in the United States. When you factor in federal debt,
8:37
consumer debt, corporate debt, all the different forms of debt
8:41
out there is, you know, going to be, well more.
8:43
In fact it's I had to figure up here 307 trillion in total
8:49
global debt, which is up 100 trillion since 2012.
8:54
You know, currency, Fiat currency doesn't go to money
8:57
heaven, it just gets redistributed.
9:00
And you know, when when people figure out that you each each
9:04
individual creates their own money in this system.
9:08
So if you can be the first one to spend that money, that's
9:10
called the Cantalon effect. CANTILLON effect.
9:15
And what that means is that the first person that brings new
9:17
money into the system gets to reap the most rewards from that
9:22
currency. Which is why I'm not, I'm not a
9:24
fan of Dave Ramsey or paying down your mortgage because you
9:28
have to abide by the rules of the game.
9:31
If the rules of the game were gold and silver, then yeah, you
9:34
know pay down your debt. You know be the responsible one.
9:38
You know, and I and I was very blessed to kind of figure that
9:40
out at a pretty young age that you know just load up on debt
9:44
and as long as you can manage it that helps build your credit
9:46
score. And then as you build your
9:47
credit score the banks just want to throw money at you all the
9:51
time when but that and that's the system that we live in And
9:55
you know people like Pat Holland that came on your show recently
9:58
that said hey here's what you can do.
10:00
You can go talk to your state legislatures and you know, have
10:05
changed the system, you know, and I'm fortunate enough to live
10:07
in New Hampshire and I was actually going to put a
10:12
challenge out to your viewers and give them some homework.
10:15
I'd love to connect with Jim Forsyth of Citizens for Sound
10:19
Money. He's, yeah, Pat mentioned him
10:22
and I think he's doing fantastic work.
10:25
But I really want to take this to the next level.
10:27
So you know, if your viewers will reach out to Jim.
10:30
I have a 10 oz silver bar form just to talk to him and say
10:34
thank you so your viewers can reach him.
10:37
It's citizens the number four. So CITIZENS the number 4 sound
10:44
money.org. And I think that's going to be
10:47
critical because other states are going to be looking at
10:51
models to replicate. And I think Texas is it.
10:55
It's a good start, but I I'm actually a proponent that every
11:00
county should have a smaller depository and spread out the
11:03
depositories across the state. Every state has blighted areas,
11:08
areas that need economic recovery.
11:12
In New Hampshire, I would look at places like Berlin, New
11:15
Hampshire, which is in COAS county, it's in a very depressed
11:18
area. There used to be a paper mill
11:20
there that shut down one of the few major employers there is the
11:23
state in the state prison. There's other places around New
11:27
Hampshire like Claremont which are very depressed, you know, so
11:31
I would kind of take it one step further and say that's great
11:33
that we have this idea and this vision, but let's take it one
11:36
step further and let's make it our own.
11:39
I think most pensioners are aware that the system is very
11:43
insolvent. New Hampshire has one of the
11:46
worst pension systems. I mean, they're all pretty bad,
11:49
but New Hampshire is exceptionally horrendous.
11:52
And if these pensioners want to save their future wealth, then
11:56
they should be demanding that these gold and silver bullying
12:01
depositories be created because in in essence, they really
12:04
should be created for the state, which is for the people.
12:07
And so if you know which is what the state of Texas did as part
12:10
of the Texas retirement system, that's the whole reason the
12:13
Texas bullying depository even was formed, because Texas was
12:17
sick of paying BlackRock management fees for holding
12:21
paper gold. So they said, well screw that,
12:23
we're just going to build our own bullying depository.
12:25
And I think they brought it's a billion or 2 billion worth of
12:28
gold back into the Texas Billing Depository and a lot of that
12:32
went for the pensioners in Texas.
12:35
So we don't want this to be too late because you know, as Andy
12:39
Schechtman has said, it's, you know, things are going, things
12:42
are going and then boom, it's just going to happen all of a
12:43
sudden. And states need to really start
12:46
that process now sooner rather than later.
12:49
If you're looking to buy gold, silver, or platinum, do yourself
12:53
a favor and check out Pinbex, the online precious metals
12:57
bullion dealer and sponsor of Ron's Basement.
13:00
I was a happy customer before they offered to support the
13:04
channel. You'll find they have the best
13:06
prices, quality, and service. I think Pinbex is best and you
13:11
will too. And be sure to tell him that
13:13
you're from Ron's basement and Andy Scheckman likes to use the
13:17
example of of Jenga. You know that game where you
13:20
stack up all the wood blocks and you keep pushing on and then
13:23
boom, it just happened suddenly. I want to circle back to
13:26
something that that that you said earlier regarding the
13:32
Monopoly game. The analogy I like to use is,
13:34
you know, if you and I and our viewer, who's with us now, and a
13:38
few other guys got together to play a game of poker.
13:42
And we all sit down and all of us brought $100 each.
13:45
But you you know being Mr. Moneybags show up with $100,000
13:50
to play poker. We're all gonna be like, sorry,
13:53
we're not gonna. We're done.
13:54
You know, you talked about people just throwing the
13:56
monopoly board up in the air and it feels like we could be
14:01
getting not to go down the the the subject matter of wealth
14:04
distribution in this country, but it feels like.
14:07
With the middle class struggling, everybody
14:09
struggling, who's not part of the .5% that that people are
14:15
growing very frustrated and we could see some social issues
14:19
erupting in the in the coming year as well.
14:22
You know, you also said something that fascinated me
14:24
that I was not aware of and correct me if I'm wrong, but we
14:29
know there's this massive amount of credit, there's a lot of
14:32
debt, period. But we know just if we zoom in
14:34
on credit card debt, there's this massive.
14:37
Record level of credit card debt now in this country, right.
14:40
And the consumer is the what 70% of the US economy.
14:44
I hear a different, you know the we're a consumer based economy.
14:48
But you said that one in 10 people and you had a specific
14:51
term for it were in a financial situation.
14:54
Now with their credit card debt where the fees and interest were
14:58
bigger than what they were paying on a monthly basis.
15:02
Correct me if I'm wrong Daniel, but whatever you called it, I
15:04
would call that a doom loop. That.
15:07
That they're right. I mean, yeah, the technical term
15:10
is persistent debt. But yeah, a vicious doom loop.
15:13
And unless something major happens, most of those people
15:16
are gonna eventually end up in some kind of default.
15:20
Unless they get bailed out by a parent, you know, a family
15:23
member inheritance, you know, and that's and the credit card
15:26
companies rely on those, you know, on the generosity of
15:30
others or you know, you spin the wheel.
15:32
You get lucky once in a while. The credit card companies know
15:34
if they issue you know 100 billion in what they view as bad
15:38
debt meaning they don't really expect to get any of it back
15:42
that eventually over time they'll they'll collect 20 or
15:45
$0.30 on the dollar through through various ways and you
15:49
know and and people's goodwill may they want us.
15:51
Most people want to eventually settle their debt you know as
15:55
they should. You know being in that mindset
15:57
of just taking on debt and then not paying it back that's, you
16:00
know that's not good. I've heard people say oh I'm
16:02
going to buy silver on credit card, that that's a really bad
16:06
idea. Unless, unless we're at the
16:10
point where like Weimar Germany where prices are doubling every
16:12
day or something. Which at that point who knows if
16:15
the credit cards will even work. Yeah, Yeah.
16:18
Well, in the in the interest rates on credit cards are
16:20
variable as well, right. So even if we do get into a. 50%
16:26
interest rate environment, 60% they can just keep adjusting
16:29
those rates higher and higher on people.
16:32
Not a pretty situation when we look out into the future and we
16:39
think about the silver and gold price and we think about.
16:44
Geopolitical worldwide changes that are going on, we have D
16:47
dollarization which is a generally you know an accepted
16:53
fact that that's occurring right now, the Petro dollar situation
16:58
as well. What do do do you think that we
17:01
are entering a, a new paradigm or a new environment both
17:06
economically but also for the precious metals right now?
17:10
Yeah, absolutely. Yeah.
17:11
There's. And I and I saw that fundamental
17:13
shift, believe it or not, in mining stocks.
17:16
And I I like watching mining stocks because it gives me a
17:20
very good indication as to where we're at in the cycle because
17:23
there's these periods of exuberance and then these
17:26
periods of just very long depression.
17:29
There's no other way to put it as you know you know and maybe
17:33
I'll start a money management service.
17:34
I don't know. I just I I have a knack for it.
17:36
I I use a, you know for my own personal self.
17:38
I use kind of a three prong approach.
17:40
I use fundamentals. I use technicals and I use it my
17:43
own intuition. So I've actually been, you know
17:47
I've actually been sitting on the sidelines for quite a while
17:49
and I actually pretty much I won't say all in, but I, I made
17:53
significant investments in precious metals stocks including
17:56
first mining for Full disclosure on October 26th which as of
18:01
right now that seems to have been pretty good timing.
18:04
And I think they're, I think this is just I think we hit a
18:06
bottom and the sentiment got to a point where I think I read
18:11
something that the top two stocks I think it's Microsoft
18:14
and maybe Google just those two market caps were 70 times the
18:20
total of all of the mining stocks.
18:23
The all the value in all the mining stocks that what world do
18:26
we live in that makes no sense at all and you know.
18:31
Another, I mean another and that and that's your and that's my
18:33
intuition talking. And and and another statistic
18:37
that I've heard in regards to this and as it relates to the
18:40
silver and gold price and sentiment with the miners is
18:43
that the entire market cap of the precious metals mining
18:47
sector worldwide was smaller than Home Depot, which blew me
18:52
away and and you know. There's, I agree with you, the
18:57
sentiment had reached a a horrific state and it seems like
19:03
now I guess it's almost been a month ago, but that does matter
19:07
for the actual prices of the metals as well in my opinion.
19:11
You know there it it to me it's one of the best barometers that
19:14
we have regarding. How people feel about precious
19:19
metals and I talked to a lot of the CEOs and they all said the
19:22
same thing. Like you know we thought it
19:23
couldn't get worse a year ago, but it did get a little worse
19:27
even. But like volume on the on the
19:31
Toronto Stock Exchange where many of these mining stocks are
19:34
traded was at like you know 20 or 30 year lows.
19:38
There were like no IPOs during the year, which was like a
19:41
record of all time. So, you know, I think the good
19:45
thing. And I'm gonna get your opinion
19:47
on this Daniel, 'cause I this is, this is something that
19:49
excites me and I think probably our viewers as well because
19:53
they're all, you know, investors to 1° or another.
19:56
And either the metals or the mining stocks is that if we look
19:59
at gold, and as we record this on Tuesday morning, November
20:04
28th, gold is above $2000 per oz.
20:09
That we are approaching. We are within a stone's throw of
20:13
a new all time high for gold. If we get a new all time high,
20:17
it just blows my mind. If we get a new all time high in
20:20
the gold price and we do that with this sentiment that we
20:25
currently have, what happens if we get just the slightest
20:29
improvement and sentiment? First, Mining Gold is a
20:32
development company advancing two of the largest gold projects
20:36
in Canada, Spring Pole in Ontario and Duparque located in
20:41
Quebec. Each already has 5 million
20:44
ounces of gold reserves, but exploration initiatives are
20:48
underway at both projects to find even more gold.
20:53
First, mining is well financed, has zero debt and owns an
20:57
interest in four additional Canadian Gold development
21:00
projects. The technicals actually drive a
21:03
significant amount of the market right now, and specifically
21:05
computer algorithm trading, and I've listened to multiple people
21:09
and they've pretty much all said if we get past 2100, these
21:11
technical indicators are going to tell the computers to just
21:14
start buying. Like mad.
21:17
And that's so essentially what we're seeing is an unheard of
21:21
quadruple potential, quadruple top.
21:23
We've already seen a triple top in gold, but we're, you know,
21:26
we're we're going to hit a quadruple top and then it's just
21:29
going to either be new all time high or they're going to try to
21:31
smash the price down again. Every time they smash the price
21:34
down, they're using ammunition behind the scenes through the
21:38
New York Fed's Emergency Stabilization Fund.
21:42
And there comes a point where they're only going to have.
21:45
So much ammunition before they say, OK, it's time to pull up
21:48
the big guns. And that's when they start
21:49
printing 5 trillion, 10 trillion.
21:51
And then where? Where does the price?
21:53
I mean, they're they're stuck. They're stuck between a literal
21:55
rock and a hard place because they're damned if they do and
21:58
they're damned if they don't. And the more.
22:00
But but the key here is more people need to wake up to what
22:04
they're doing, what the game is, and then how to fight.
22:07
And you can fight by just buying physical precious metals by
22:11
buying mining stocks. Talking to other people about
22:14
it, you know, and nothing gets, you know, all these traders more
22:17
excited than seeing returns. And you know some of the returns
22:20
I'm seeing 20 or 30% in the last 30 days, which that doesn't
22:24
happen forever. They'll be a little.
22:26
I actually prefer to see corrections and then have things
22:29
go up more slowly. When you see these parabolic
22:31
rises, I forget who said it, but someone said if you see a 45°
22:36
angle. In a stock, it's it's it's
22:39
probably fraud. So when you get these massive
22:42
spikes, they're they're really not, not natural and in a lot of
22:46
ways, you know, but for something like silver, we really
22:51
need to kind of stay above 30 for multiple days.
22:53
But I don't think we're going to get there until gold is
22:56
consistently over 2100. Now when gold gets to, you know.
23:00
When gold gets to, you know, 2101.
23:04
It's, it's game on. And then that's when the algos
23:07
will start buying and that's when silver will really take
23:10
off. I think silver will just smash
23:12
through 30 at that point and really there's very little
23:14
resistance from 30 up to right around 45 and then you'll start
23:18
to see people starting to sell then.
23:21
But totally different dynamic than than where we were back in,
23:24
you know, 2011, 2012, Totally different.
23:27
Yeah. And and and you know much more
23:29
about this than I do. So I want to circle back again
23:32
to something you said, because I've heard other people say this
23:35
as well, that we are approaching what's called a quad top.
23:40
Is that the term you used in the gold price or that's the fourth
23:43
time. Basically this will be the 4th
23:45
time that gold attempts to breakthrough, let's say the 2100
23:49
range and that Triple tops are very unusual and quadruple tops
23:56
are almost unheard of. That meaning that if it gets up
24:00
there again, statistically speaking, it should, it should
24:04
keep going. Yeah.
24:06
I mean typically in in technical terms.
24:09
The double top is usually pretty well defined, especially after
24:12
it plays out. But to see a triple top and then
24:15
potentially this quad quadruple top is just it's unprecedented
24:20
and it's something that everybody should be watching
24:22
very closely because we're at a, we're at a point now where the
24:26
the the whole economic system is is about to break, but no one
24:30
knows how it's going to break. We I think a lot of people just
24:33
intuitively know something's really wrong.
24:35
Something really big is about to happen.
24:38
Potentially something very, you know, breaking very bad.
24:42
But but we don't necessarily know exactly what it is.
24:45
How about the the the the demise of the Petro dollar.
24:48
How about, you know, record money printing like like we know
24:53
and I hear not to go back to Andy Scheckman.
24:55
Andy Scheckman says, you know, like you there there's crumbs
24:57
and hints all around. They're never gonna tell us
25:00
what's wrong. We know there's a ton of
25:02
garbage. We've you have not even talked
25:04
about the banking sector. The I heard Lynette Zang say
25:08
this the other day that the these banks have a ton of.
25:11
They're hiding a ton of garbage, right?
25:14
I mean, I have a I'm an accountant.
25:15
The bank. Well, you.
25:17
Know how they. Well, you know how they hide it
25:19
through Sarbanes-Oxley. Yeah.
25:21
When that got pushed through in in O2.
25:25
And mind you, who was the main architect of that was none other
25:27
than Andrew Weissman. Who?
25:29
Single handedly shut down Enron and Arthur Anderson.
25:32
And, you know, they've been able to essentially lock out the big
25:36
players at, you know, by basically making them pick, you
25:41
know, one of the major 4 auditing companies.
25:44
And then from there, it's it, it's a black box.
25:46
Note, you know, no one gets in. Everything's compartmentalized.
25:49
Even if you work at those institutions, you know you're
25:52
highly compartmentalized to a specific division.
25:55
Or you're focusing on some certain mutual fund.
25:57
It's, you know very few people have kind of the big picture on,
26:00
you know what's going on behind the scenes that but a lot of
26:02
those accounting firms are hiding a lot of skeletons and
26:06
but you know they're they're big enough where they can take on
26:10
the IRS and they just bog down the IRS until you know, the
26:14
statute of limitations runs out. Yeah, yeah.
26:17
I heard a term and this was 15 years ago right after the
26:21
financial crisis that described what was going on at the banks
26:27
and I think it's even going on more so now as Disneyland
26:31
accounting. You know make believe we don't
26:33
have to you know we'll we'll hold these treasuries that were
26:36
down 44% on we're going to hold them till maturity.
26:40
So we're not going to recognize that we're in the hole.
26:42
I mean, it would be like you or or I as the, you know, the head
26:46
of our households, you know, making a bunch of bad
26:50
investments and losing 4050% of our wealth and and and on paper,
26:55
right, And saying, well, it's OK, 'cause I'm gonna hold it
26:58
forever and eventually, you know, I mean the, the, the, the,
27:01
the troubles are there. And with the banks it's even
27:03
more pronounced. And I know we're not gonna go
27:05
into a deep discussion about banks, but but people, the
27:10
depositors think that money is there.
27:12
And in many cases, whether it's commercial real estate or
27:15
treasury, it's not. I mean if if they went and asked
27:18
for it, it's gone, yeah. And they play and they play by
27:20
different rules. It's it's rules for the and not
27:22
for me is how the banks look at it.
27:24
So it would be one thing if everyone played by the same
27:26
rules, but more and more people are waking up to the fact that
27:29
that they don't play by the same rules.
27:31
And you know when you make a deposit at any commercial bank.
27:36
You know you're you're, you're turning over your currency to
27:39
them. Now it's a liability.
27:40
So now they owe it to you and they're going to go lend it out,
27:43
you know 7-8, nine times over because of banking rules.
27:46
They don't have to keep much if any on hand.
27:50
And the Fed has just perpetuated that taking in collateral at 100
27:55
and cents on the dollar and and then loaning them money for a
27:59
year. Well, guess what it's been, it's
28:00
been a year. So a lot of these banks come
28:02
next March. I think that's when they made a
28:04
lot of the loans was last March when when First Republic in
28:09
Silicon Valley went down. But if you recall, they were
28:13
basically between March and March, April, May, maybe June,
28:16
they were giving these banks all these different loans at 100
28:20
cents on the dollar. Well, those are going to come
28:21
due next year and we have the, I'll jump back into the
28:26
trillions again because I think it's kind of fun.
28:28
So there's 17.34 trillion in commercial bank deposits, which
28:32
is really liability. It of that we're looking at 128
28:38
billion that's in the FDIC fund. So there's $8 for every thousand
28:43
of insured deposits there. We've spent 7 trillion on never
28:48
ending wars to feed the military industrial complex, 8 trillion
28:52
and maturing U.S. Treasury bills and notes between
28:55
now and 2025. And yeah, so when you ask about
28:59
inflation, you know, I you know someone, I heard that.
29:03
Tavi Costa, he talks about the three wave inflation theory.
29:07
I think we're, you know, we're definitely either about to hit
29:10
the second one or potentially even about to hit the third one.
29:13
So we're kind of in this relative calm.
29:16
But as soon as the money printers start going, you know
29:19
it's kind of a case of OK who, you know when they print money,
29:21
who gets it. Everybody, you know, everybody
29:25
ultimately gets it. It's just a matter of who and
29:29
and when. And you know, when that happens,
29:31
that's. I mean that's when the cost of
29:33
goods is you're going to go to Home Depot or you're going to go
29:35
to the grocery store and you're just going to give up.
29:38
You're going to be like I, you know, I, yeah.
29:40
So it's yeah. So preparing your home now
29:42
though, because that's when gold and silver are going to really
29:44
take off because at that point, you know, the genies out of the
29:48
bottle, there's no whole. I'd personally, in my opinion,
29:51
there's really no holding it back at that point.
29:53
I don't know what kind of tools the Fed says they have that they
29:56
can quash the price of gold and silver again, could they?
30:00
Maybe. But.
30:02
You know, the men at the Alamo, they died trying, right?
30:05
So I mean, we got a, we got a try.
30:07
And you know, if that means you're in the red for a little
30:09
while, then you know, you just have to have that psychological
30:12
mindset of a general to hang on and you know and keep fighting
30:16
and and to me, the gold and silver is the best way to fight.
30:20
You know if if they want to keep printing money, I'm.
30:22
You know I think next year some people might be at the point
30:25
where like Jesus talks about you know what if he wants, if he
30:28
wants my tunic, take my tunic. You know if if they want to
30:31
reap, if they want to do reparations and start printing
30:33
money, OK, go ahead and print money see what happens.
30:35
You know all these MMT people, You know, we can fight and fight
30:38
and fight, but there may come a point where we might say, you
30:41
know, what if if we just let them print whatever money they
30:43
want, then maybe we get that much closer and people will
30:46
quickly recognize. We also need that we also need
30:49
effective tools such as bridge for asset backed digital
30:53
currency. It's not a CBDCCBDC is central
30:56
bank digital currency. So you want to get your
30:58
terminology correct. ABDC is an asset backed digital
31:02
currency. So I would prefer to see states
31:05
issue them through the Boeing depositories, you know, So if I
31:08
were running a treasury, you know, I would want to have
31:11
digital gold, digital silver that's custodied, you know, and
31:15
issued by a certain state. Because I think that's really
31:18
the only way and you can fight these tyrants.
31:20
And I you know listening to you and Pat Holland, I am actually.
31:24
I actually agree with him in the sense that you know the federal
31:27
government is this 5 headed hydra that is just almost
31:31
impossible to take down. It's it's literally the remnants
31:33
of Satan. And how do we fight it.
31:35
Well it's it's it's by the states because you know the
31:38
government is we is supposed to be we the people and we've
31:42
usurped that and given, you know our rights away to other people
31:45
who are then. Squandering them.
31:47
So we need to take that back and and I do believe that states do
31:51
have a very effective role. You know if if Missouri is a
31:55
state that is known as, you know, rock solid, you know you
32:00
it's a place you can trust or there's another asset backed
32:03
digital currency option in the state of California.
32:05
Do you think anyone's going to buy that one?
32:06
You know, if if Governor Newsom is still in office, I don't, I
32:09
don't think anyone's going to go with that.
32:11
So, you know, it's up to individuals within the states to
32:14
push the legislation. To get these bullying
32:17
depositories and it doesn't have to be this monstrosity like I
32:22
mentioned before, I mean Texas spent hundreds of millions of
32:25
dollars. It's a it's an absolutely
32:26
massive facility, but these facilities can be smaller in
32:30
nature and designed for the needs of the people.
32:33
It should be designed for the people in that state.
32:36
And then if other people want to join in, then, well, that's
32:37
great because then we can just like a toll.
32:40
You can collect additional toll and New Hampshire is actually,
32:43
you know one of the most favorable states when it comes
32:46
to banking laws and trust laws. We're, you know, we're we're far
32:50
better than Panama when it comes to helping people hide wealth
32:53
from tyrants. Other states include South
32:56
Dakota and Nevada. So there's a handful of states
32:58
out there that do that do a very effective job at helping people
33:03
shelter assets whether that's good or bad, I mean that's the
33:06
system that that we live in. But ultimately it is up to each
33:09
state. You know, so if inflation does
33:11
go crazy, but most of the people in the state of New Hampshire
33:14
either have gold or silver in some form or they have a pension
33:17
that they can get paid in gold and silver.
33:20
You know, I think a lot of your viewers that are collecting
33:22
pensions would would love that because if their Social Security
33:26
is their, the value of their Social Security goes down every
33:29
single year because the cost of the cost of the COLA cost of
33:33
living adjustment is always, always less than what real
33:37
inflation is. And we know real inflation
33:40
numbers through places like Shadow Stats, you know, So if if
33:44
pensions can help protect their people, which is what it's
33:46
supposed to do, that'll go a long way towards fighting these
33:49
tyrants. Yeah, yeah.
33:52
And. Sorry that was a little long
33:53
handed. But I felt like that needed to
33:54
come out. Yeah well and and it and it's I
33:57
I think the only potential way for the current system to be
34:01
perpetuated is by inflating away the debt and that certainly a
34:06
good thing for the value right the real value of precious
34:11
metals. It feels like to me that the
34:14
we're at A at a point in time where the hens have come home to
34:17
roost right where where mathematics shows no forgiveness
34:21
on the altar of truth. I love that saying that that and
34:27
I want to, I want to ask you one last question.
34:29
It feels like to me over the last 50 years, this Wizard of Oz
34:33
fantasy scenario that we've seen play out has worked because the
34:39
United States enjoyed this hegemony position in the world.
34:45
We were the, we were the world power, right.
34:47
I mean, you know we were in a very favorable environment for
34:52
the United States of America. And it feels like to me, if I
34:55
just want could limit it down to the last three years that we've
34:59
seen some real fundamental shifts.
35:01
So when we look out at the next 50 years and that we're now
35:05
starting with this unbelievable all this debt that you that you
35:09
outlined for us, right. And we're starting with
35:13
political chaos in this country, and we're starting with what
35:17
feels like social chaos in this country, that the next I don't
35:20
wanna be a doom and gloomer, but it feels like the next 50 years
35:23
aren't gonna be anything like the last 50 years.
35:28
For some, for some states, you know, I, I view it as every
35:31
state's going to have an opportunity to make a stand
35:34
against this federal government and to decide what they want for
35:37
for their people. So they're in. 50 years from
35:39
now, there's going to be some states that are going to look
35:42
like Venezuela, and there's other good states that are going
35:44
to look like Qatar, you know, a small country in the Middle East
35:48
with vast amounts of wealth. I mean, why, You know, why can't
35:51
New Hampshire be a bastion of freedom?
35:54
You know, even if. You know, Taxachusetts is
35:57
withering away into oblivion because they don't know how to
36:00
treat their people nicely. And people want to move to New
36:02
Hampshire instead, and they bring their gold and silver and
36:04
we can live prosperously while they live, you know, in decay.
36:08
Then who's who's stopping that other than we, the people.
36:11
So, you know, I, I, I see a world that's bifurcating.
36:15
You know, the federal government is most likely going to
36:18
hyperinflate away its debt. It it always takes longer than
36:22
people. I think as in looking back in
36:24
history we can always look back and say well that's taking
36:27
longer, but we're at the point now where 2024 I think is is
36:31
going to be a massive year, lots of change.
36:34
And you know for me and my clients and anyone willing to
36:37
listen, you know investing in you know places like oil which I
36:41
I work for an oil and gas exploration and production
36:45
company. So I wanted to align myself
36:48
where the future cash flow could be denominated in.
36:52
You know, digital gold, digital silver or or an easy mechanism
36:57
to say, hey, would you like your dividend?
36:58
You're going to get your dividend in dollars, but you can
37:00
easily exchange it into digital gold and silver.
37:04
Most companies aren't going to have that ability to do that.
37:07
Like a retailer, A retailer is collect unless they're
37:09
collecting gold and silver, which they're probably not.
37:12
You know, a lot of industries are going to be challenged by
37:16
that, but if you buy energy stocks, you know could be.
37:19
And it could be public companies.
37:20
It could be private companies. If they start accepting, you
37:23
know, if they're selling their oil and gas to market and
37:25
they're accepting gold, you know, as as Zoltan Poznar said
37:30
that the exchange mechanism of 1g of gold for one barrel of oil
37:37
or the price could be different depending on the country.
37:39
So if Russia says yeah, we'll we'll sell United States gold
37:42
for for and it's going to be 3G per barrel.
37:47
You know, if new, if New Hampshire's sitting there
37:50
saying, well, you know, we have plenty of gold, sure we'll buy
37:52
some. You know, it's whatever we make
37:55
it, you know, out to be. Yeah, ultimately we'd love to
37:58
fix the federal government, but it's just it's gotten so large,
38:02
no one really has a grasp of like how big this thing actually
38:05
is. And that's my biggest issue.
38:07
And you know, if we can take control of our own personal
38:11
economies. That's to me, that's really the
38:15
the best way out of this. And then if you know, same thing
38:18
with Missouri, if you know you and Pat and everybody else is
38:21
saying, look, you know here here's the lifeboat and you're
38:23
throwing the raft to them and you're saying, look, get on, get
38:25
on, get on, let's go. Eventually people are going to
38:28
be kind of looking around and then they're going to say, oh,
38:31
Sue, you know, Susie, my neighbor, she's, she's doing
38:34
that and they're doing and then before they know it now, if they
38:36
hear it enough times. They're going to be running,
38:40
right? We want 2024 to be that year
38:42
where they're all running to the life raft.
38:46
So that's. Yeah.
38:47
Because. Because now because now I think
38:49
sometimes to a certain degree we can be perceived as the little
38:53
boy who cried wolf, right. Like, oh, you know, and and,
38:56
but, but yes, at some point, if things change, right?
39:01
And the boat's only so big. You know, I like to use the
39:04
analogy of just look back to the the March, April little banking
39:09
crisis that we had that they papered over very quickly and
39:13
conveniently. You in Saint Louis, you couldn't
39:16
go to a coin shop and find any silver and they were telling you
39:20
you'd have to wait three or four weeks.
39:22
The other thing I want to throw in there is is, you know, I feel
39:26
like I'm preparing right where you and I are out with our
39:29
binoculars looking out into the future and like, oh, that
39:33
doesn't look so good. But even at the same time it
39:36
it's it's I can still in the present moment still you know
39:41
function normally in this society and have a good life but
39:45
at the same time be preparing right.
39:48
It's not like it's it's it's one or the other it's you know hey
39:52
I'm you know we're doing good we're having a good a good.
39:54
But I want to make sure that that that I feel like you know
39:58
what I believe is to be prepared for what what might be coming.
40:02
Everybody's going to have a different level of preparedness.
40:04
There is no one shoe fits all approach, you know, as I was a
40:09
financial advisor for a long time as you know and I and I got
40:11
rid of my Series 7 because I felt it was more of a burden.
40:14
And I couldn't say what I wanted to say.
40:16
But you know, people really need to start taking the initiative
40:20
and assessing their own situation.
40:22
You know, as opposed to someone, you know someone's trying to
40:24
sell you something. Oh, buy buy all this food for 25
40:27
years. Well, you can only have so much
40:29
food for 25 years unless God is telling you buy a warehouse and
40:32
store food because I need you to.
40:34
He's only going to call specific people to do certain things.
40:37
And, you know, I recently came to terms with that were, you
40:39
know, I I felt the spirit of the Lord over me.
40:41
And he said, you've prepared enough now just kind of live,
40:45
live it out and be a teacher to others.
40:47
So everybody, you know, somebody might have been prepared two
40:49
years ago and said, Yep, I got my bunker, I got my food, I got
40:52
my private, well, you know, I got, you know, solar, whatever
40:55
the case is, you know, whatever God's telling you to do, OK, I'm
40:58
fully prepared now. I can go out and help others.
41:01
And that's when I, you know, and that's where I'm at at this
41:03
point, is helping, helping others.
41:06
But yeah, well, you know, Missouri will be OK.
41:08
New Hampshire will be OK. Some states I'm much more
41:11
concerned with than than others. But I think at the end of the
41:15
day, when there's a crisis, you see the best of people.
41:20
You're a wealth strategist and I put links up to your website
41:26
danieltinkum.com several Times Now during the video on the
41:30
bottom of the screen. As part of that, as part of
41:33
preparing by buying real assets things like silver, gold, you're
41:37
also involved with an oil, oil and gas exploration company,
41:42
King Operating. What's what's what's what's the,
41:46
what's the situation with that opportunity?
41:49
Yep. So I work for King Operating.
41:50
We're based out of Dallas, TX. We're in the production or
41:53
exploration and production of oil and gas.
41:57
We have multiple basins of focus.
41:59
We've already raised $125 million this year, and the fund
42:03
will close once we raise 200 million.
42:07
You know, really from from that standpoint where, you know,
42:10
because of government regulations, we're only allowed
42:12
to work with accredited investors, meaning your net
42:15
worth is at least a million or more, excluding the value of
42:18
your primary residence. Or if you're single and you make
42:21
200,000 a year for the last two years, or if you're married
42:25
filing jointly and you make 300,000 a year over the last two
42:29
years, you know, then, then the SEC says, OK, now you're allowed
42:33
to invest in even things like that.
42:36
You know it it frustrates me, but I I can see the point in
42:39
protecting investors. You know, but at the same time
42:42
too, if someone wants to put a little bit of their allocation
42:45
and you know, I I have to tell people all the time, sorry, you
42:48
can't invest because the government tells me you can't.
42:52
But you know that's those are the rules we live in.
42:54
But yeah we're we're we're projecting 8 to 12% annualized
42:59
returns paid monthly from from our monthly passive income and
43:04
so and there's also a significant tax write off as
43:07
well you know. So from from that standpoint if
43:10
anyone is interested they I can go through the presentation and
43:14
send send you the PPM. So the two ways to contact me
43:19
either through the website danieltinkham.com, so it's Dan
43:23
i.e. LTIN kham.com you can also if
43:29
you just want to e-mail me directly, it's
43:31
info@danieltinkum.com. I'll also provide the phone
43:37
number for King Operating. So if you're the kind of person
43:39
that says, you know what, I would rather just pick up the
43:41
phone and talk to someone, you know, you can call King
43:46
Operating. Our, our assistant will answer.
43:49
And even if it's just, hey, I saw Dan, he did a great job or
43:52
whatever. Whatever you're compelled to do
43:53
or if you're interested in, you know, learning more about our
43:56
program that way. King's phone number is
43:58
214-420-3000. That's 214-420-3000.
44:06
OK. And they and they call oil black
44:09
gold, right. So I imagine that if we do go
44:12
into this environment where we see further deterioration in the
44:16
value of the dollar and maybe we have some more inflation that
44:21
likely we could see higher oil prices and potentially.
44:26
Even higher returns for any company that's in the domestic
44:29
oil and gas production arena. Yeah, So that you know where
44:34
that's the goal right now. So one of our projects is in the
44:36
Permian Basin. We have multiple wells drilled,
44:39
all have hit oil. Our goal is to do 20 wells in
44:43
that program. And our goal is really simple.
44:45
It's our model is simple, it's we acquire, we develop and we
44:48
divest. So, you know, I like analogies
44:51
instead of tenants and toilets, it's oil and gas.
44:55
So we're doing a lot of the same.
44:56
You know, from an analogy standpoint, we're doing a lot of
44:59
the same as if you bought an apartment building and you fixed
45:02
it up, you did some structural work to it, fresh carpets, fresh
45:06
paint, windows, boom. Now you get higher cash flow and
45:09
the the property is worth more. We're doing the same thing.
45:13
We're going into under appreciated areas in
45:16
neighborhoods with old wells that are 2030 years old.
45:19
But instead of refacing them or reworking them with the
45:23
borewell, which is essentially a company that comes in, they
45:26
don't have enough capital. So they try to come in and you
45:29
know kind of like if you found a a, a bone with some meat on it,
45:32
you're trying to pick away at whatever meat you can.
45:34
We believe that that this area in particular has a lot of meat
45:37
left on the bone. So we're coming in with advanced
45:40
technology such as 3D seismic, which is essentially it's like
45:43
an MRI and an X-ray on the land. We have land engineers, we have
45:48
petroleum engineers. We have one of the best teams
45:50
out there trying to strategically find the right
45:53
places to drill and then we're using the most advanced
45:56
technology, fracking. We're doing horizontal.
45:59
I mean this is a major, you know this in terms of the size, this
46:03
is one of the largest that I know of that is allowing retail
46:06
investors to participate. If anyone knows of another
46:09
retail focused fund, you know for accredited investors that
46:14
has raised 125 million, please let me know because I don't
46:16
know. Most of these are institutional
46:18
only. These sorts of deals, you know,
46:22
are typically reserved for for billionaires.
46:24
But our founder Jay Young, you know, believes in the model.
46:27
We've already proved the model to work where we can try to flip
46:30
it within a few years. And in the meantime, while you
46:34
sit on it, just like if you have an apartment building and you're
46:36
collect, you know, you're collecting that monthly rent
46:38
from the tenants. You know, while you sit to wait
46:40
for us to flip it, you're getting that monthly cash flow
46:43
from the, you know, from the sale of oil and gas.
46:45
If the price of oil and gas goes up, your cash flow is going to
46:48
go up. And then we also have teams that
46:50
are going to be watching the markets closely and if things
46:54
really start to break down trying to find mechanisms to
46:57
potentially pay our investors in digital gold or digital silver
47:00
as opposed to current, you know, just the, the, the Fiat currency
47:05
and that's not imminent, but that is something that you know
47:08
the executive team behind the scenes is, is starting to look
47:11
at. So yeah, we, we want to be
47:13
pioneers in the industry and if and if we're doing something a
47:16
different way, there's other copycats that that we've already
47:19
heard that are trying to come in and do something similar.
47:21
So I'd imagine if we started paying dividends in digital gold
47:25
and silver, I would imagine there would be lots of copycats
47:28
which is kind of what we want. That's a that would be a
47:30
compliment but of course there's there's always risks involved
47:34
with with any projects so always do due diligence and you know
47:38
and like I said we each person that reaches out will will
47:40
provide the the the PPM which is all the fine print.
47:45
Sounds good. And I guess you said they're
47:49
pioneers. I just want to be real clear
47:51
here. They're always welcome to come
47:53
to Saint Louis and do some drilling here in my yard.
47:56
If they, If they, yeah. Maybe, maybe do, maybe do the
48:03
seismic work first. Now on a serious note, sounds
48:06
sounds like a very interesting opportunity.
48:10
Daniel, on on behalf of everyone who's joined us today, you're a
48:14
wealth of knowledge and very generous with your time.
48:19
Again, I'll put the links to how you can get in touch with Daniel
48:23
and the description of this video and we'll look forward to
48:27
talking to you next time. It's my pleasure.
48:29
And again, you guys, don't forget to reach out to Jim
48:31
Forsyth. I have a 10 oz.
48:32
Bar from when we are able to meet up and I'd love to have a
48:36
discussion with him about how I can help advance New Hampshire's
48:39
interest as I'm a lifelong resident.
48:41
I grew up in E Erie, New Hampshire, about 5 miles from
48:44
Allen Shepherd's House, same town as Robert Frost, so deep
48:48
roots here in New Hampshire. This is my home.
48:50
I'm never leaving. I will die in my house if I have
48:53
to, to stand against this tyranny.
48:55
So I am more than happy to advance New Hampshire's best
48:59
interests and happy to help anyone who's doing the same
49:02
thing. Sounds great.
49:04
Thanks, Dan. We'll talk to you soon.
49:06
Thanks, Ron. It's a pleasure.
