Transcript
- 0:02Speaker 1: I have been plotting my revenge against you, Gabe for
- 0:06Speaker 1: some time now, and I need you to know that
- 0:08Speaker 1: today I will be serving that revenge.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Dish to you, cold revenge for what. Yep.
- 0:16Speaker 1: Well, I don't know if you recall your own actions,
- 0:18Speaker 1: but I will remind you that you've had my kids
- 0:22Speaker 1: on air to make fun of me. Yeah, you had
- 0:27Speaker 1: my neighbor on air to set up a confrontation between us.
- 0:31Speaker 3: Okay, I was mediating a resolve. Okay, justify that in
- 0:37Speaker 3: my brain.
- 0:37Speaker 4: Tomato, Tomato.
- 0:39Speaker 1: And you've had my boyfriend mikey On to divulge to
- 0:43Speaker 1: the FM area all of my weird quirks now that
- 0:47Speaker 1: he has spent some time staying in the same house
- 0:50Speaker 1: as me. And so, I, being a clever little fox
- 0:54Speaker 1: that I am, I'm friends.
- 0:56Speaker 4: With your wife, Gabe.
- 0:58Speaker 1: So I reached out to cool Oh I would, yes.
- 1:04Speaker 4: And I did, and I feel real good about it.
- 1:06Speaker 1: And I got her to reveal some of your quirks.
- 1:10Speaker 1: I asked her, Okay, tell me what are Gabe's weird quirks?
- 1:17Speaker 5: Well, how much time do we have here? Because I
- 1:19Speaker 5: got a list for you. He keeps his toenails way
- 1:24Speaker 5: too long. He likes to chew strauss.
- 1:30Speaker 3: Okay, the toenail thing somewhat true, but not full true. Okay,
- 1:36Speaker 3: what I do is there's something about the clipper on
- 1:39Speaker 3: the toenail that I hate. So really I just kind
- 1:41Speaker 3: of this sounds really wild, but I just sort of
- 1:44Speaker 3: rip them off when they're I'm done with the shower.
- 1:47Speaker 1: Okay, that's gross and weird. Chewing on straws, I think
- 1:51Speaker 1: is acceptable.
- 1:52Speaker 4: I do that too. It's if I do it too,
- 1:55Speaker 4: then it's fine. All right, let's keep going.
- 1:58Speaker 5: Everything can be a fidget toy, from hangars to office supplies.
- 2:04Speaker 5: He likes to mess with tags on blankets and pillows.
- 2:09Speaker 2: I'll be honest.
- 2:10Speaker 3: There's really no defense for that first one. As I'm
- 2:12Speaker 3: sitting here fidgeting.
- 2:13Speaker 2: With a pen.
- 2:14Speaker 4: Yes, literally, that's what I was looking at. You're fidgeting
- 2:17Speaker 4: with a pen. All right, let's go. Let's here's the
- 2:20Speaker 4: next one.
- 2:21Speaker 5: Doesn't like any lights, natural or overhead, so we live
- 2:26Speaker 5: in a dark dungeon.
- 2:27Speaker 1: No.
- 2:27Speaker 5: Once he's interested in something, it becomes an obsession.
- 2:32Speaker 1: Oh okay, see I see this one, because that is why.
- 2:36Speaker 4: You're part of the hashtag truck community.
- 2:39Speaker 1: You bought a truck and everything is truck community, truck community.
- 2:43Speaker 1: You bought a bike, and now everything's hashtag bike community,
- 2:47Speaker 1: and that is a weird quirk.
- 2:49Speaker 4: Game.
- 2:50Speaker 3: Okay, I we do not live in a dark dungeon. Okay,
- 2:53Speaker 3: I'm just all about the Benjamins. I'm trying to save
- 2:56Speaker 3: that money. So if the lights don't need to be on,
- 3:00Speaker 3: shut them up.
- 3:01Speaker 1: Just like this, she said that you don't like natural
- 3:04Speaker 1: my either, so like your shades are drama.
- 3:07Speaker 3: I are hundred downright now. Oh my gosh, that's just
- 3:11Speaker 3: like this studio. I really love the lights on in here.
- 3:14Speaker 4: Oh I know you never turned them on.
- 3:16Speaker 1: I am the one who turns on the lights when
- 3:18Speaker 1: we walk into the studio.
- 3:19Speaker 4: And now I know this is your weird quirk.
- 3:23Speaker 1: You know you don't pay the power bill here though, right, Okay,
- 3:26Speaker 1: this is here the final ones.
- 3:29Speaker 5: He thinks he's an elite athlete even though he's in
- 3:33Speaker 5: his mid thirties and hasn't played a sport for about
- 3:37Speaker 5: four years. Now. Wow, I could go on and on,
- 3:39Speaker 5: but we'll just leave it at that.
- 3:41Speaker 3: Okay, Well, according to Angie's math that we learned yesterday
- 3:44Speaker 3: here on Big ninety eight point seven, I'm still in
- 3:46Speaker 3: my young thirties.
- 3:47Speaker 2: Thank you you are.
- 3:48Speaker 4: But I do love that she could go on and on.
- 3:52Speaker 3: Well, what are my rounds to go with my buddies?
- 3:55Speaker 3: What is the bike community? I'm still an athlete. I'm
- 3:58Speaker 3: just not organized that.
- 4:00Speaker 4: Okay.
- 4:00Speaker 1: All I'm saying, Gabe, is that because she can go
- 4:02Speaker 1: on and on. Depending on what you do to me next,
- 4:06Speaker 1: there could be a part two the pot. We have
- 4:14Speaker 1: an email from a listener who lives in South Fargo
- 4:18Speaker 1: neighbors all right, and she wants to know if she
- 4:22Speaker 1: is the problem from Maggie. I love you guys, thank
- 4:26Speaker 1: you for all the laughs and entertainment on my way
- 4:29Speaker 1: to work every day.
- 4:29Speaker 3: You know, Maggie, I hope you hit every green light
- 4:32Speaker 3: on your twenty fifth Street drive this morning like I did.
- 4:36Speaker 4: I love that. I'm jealous, and I also how nice.
- 4:40Speaker 4: I like when they say nice things.
- 4:41Speaker 1: First, people often talk about someone who has resting witch face,
- 4:46Speaker 1: except you know, b B face, resting beeface.
- 4:50Speaker 4: You get what I'm saying, right, Gabe?
- 4:52Speaker 2: Yeah, I got it. Okay, I got.
- 4:56Speaker 1: But no one ever talks about people with resting smiling face.
- 5:00Speaker 1: It's when someone always looks like they are happy or
- 5:03Speaker 1: about to laugh. At any moment, they have a permanent
- 5:06Speaker 1: smile on their face, even if they are not happy.
- 5:09Speaker 1: I'm someone who has resting, smiling face, and I tend
- 5:12Speaker 1: to get annoyed when everyone thinks I'm in a good
- 5:15Speaker 1: mood or when people think I'm trying to share a laugh.
- 5:18Speaker 1: Sometimes I'm tired or frustrated or not in the mood,
- 5:22Speaker 1: and it drives me crazy that some people just assume
- 5:25Speaker 1: I'm in a great mood. Am I the problem for
- 5:28Speaker 1: getting annoyed at people who assume I'm always in a
- 5:31Speaker 1: good mood or down to joke around.
- 5:35Speaker 4: Maggie girl.
- 5:36Speaker 1: I hate to say it, but like, this is just
- 5:39Speaker 1: your lot in life, okay, Like you just have to
- 5:42Speaker 1: accept that you will always have to defend yourself against
- 5:47Speaker 1: seeming pleasant.
- 5:48Speaker 4: Like that's not the worst problem to have.
- 5:51Speaker 1: I feel like when people have resting be face, that's
- 5:54Speaker 1: worse because you always have to defend like, no, I'm
- 5:57Speaker 1: not in a bad mood, and then it's like are
- 5:59Speaker 1: you sure a shoot, you're not in a bad mood,
- 6:01Speaker 1: and that's annoying.
- 6:02Speaker 4: I feel like the opposite.
- 6:04Speaker 1: Problem is more annoying than the resting smiling face.
- 6:08Speaker 3: Yeah, Meg, you just have to remember when you walk
- 6:11Speaker 3: out the door, it looks like you're excited to attack
- 6:13Speaker 3: the day and the sun is out and you got
- 6:16Speaker 3: a big smile on your face. There are some individuals
- 6:19Speaker 3: who when they walk out the door, it looks like
- 6:22Speaker 3: they want to run over people with their car. Okay,
- 6:26Speaker 3: you're lucky enough for the fact that you just look
- 6:28Speaker 3: like a delight to be around, and will I can
- 6:32Speaker 3: I can understand that it would be frustrating when if
- 6:35Speaker 3: people want to like mess with you or joke around
- 6:37Speaker 3: and you're just not in the mood but looking like
- 6:40Speaker 3: a pleasant individual, probably really not very high on my
- 6:45Speaker 3: problem's list, right.
- 6:47Speaker 4: I feel that way too.
- 6:49Speaker 1: If this is your biggest problem, I think you're living
- 6:53Speaker 1: life just fine. The other thing is if you're always resting,
- 6:56Speaker 1: smiling face, that's one of those like fake it till
- 6:59Speaker 1: you make it things, So if you don't actually feel it, Yeah,
- 7:02Speaker 1: you're smiling enough girl that eventually.
- 7:04Speaker 4: You'll be in a good mood.
- 7:05Speaker 1: Right.
- 7:05Speaker 3: If you have resting, smiling face and you know you
- 7:09Speaker 3: are good looking enough, there are people who will just
- 7:11Speaker 3: come up and give you free things. Okay, so this
- 7:14Speaker 3: might be a perk of your life. Let us know
- 7:17Speaker 3: what you think is Maggie the problem all right? Seven
- 7:19Speaker 3: oh one two eight h one nine eight seven. I
- 7:23Speaker 3: think this is one of the few times we've been
- 7:25Speaker 3: in agreements. Yeah, Maggie, you probably likely have it pretty good.
- 7:30Speaker 2: Yeah. No, work, work, work, work, work works to me.
- 7:35Speaker 2: I'll be work work, work, work work.
- 7:37Speaker 3: When people find out what your job is, what is
- 7:42Speaker 3: the question they ask you? And I asked that question
- 7:45Speaker 3: to you this morning because this happened to me the
- 7:49Speaker 3: other day. Now, if you've been following along with Big
- 7:51Speaker 3: ninety eight point seven on Facebook, you might be aware.
- 7:53Speaker 3: At this point, I have bought my favorite purchase of
- 7:57Speaker 3: twenty twenty five. It's this big giant dog crate thing
- 8:01Speaker 3: that I can attach to my bike and my dog
- 8:04Speaker 3: can go on bike rides with me.
- 8:06Speaker 1: You posted the sweetest picture of your dog Wanona inside
- 8:11Speaker 1: that little bike carrier.
- 8:13Speaker 4: I love it so much.
- 8:13Speaker 1: If you haven't seen it, check it out at Big
- 8:15Speaker 1: nine eight seven dot com, I mean sorry Big nine
- 8:17Speaker 1: eight seven's Facebook page.
- 8:19Speaker 3: Yes, and I found this thing on Facebook, Marketplace or
- 8:23Speaker 3: my wife did or whatever, so we go to buy it.
- 8:26Speaker 2: It's this this couple.
- 8:28Speaker 3: They live right off of University over in Fargo by
- 8:32Speaker 3: you know, I don't need to say where they live
- 8:34Speaker 3: doesn't matter.
- 8:34Speaker 4: Yep, I want the exact address.
- 8:37Speaker 3: But we get there, and of course, very Midwestern, we
- 8:40Speaker 3: get to chitchat in a little bit. You know, no
- 8:42Speaker 3: one ever just walks up and buys the thing and leaves. Right,
- 8:44Speaker 3: you're chitchat in a little bit. And of course they asked, oh, like, well,
- 8:48Speaker 3: brings you to Fargo or why are you and Fargo
- 8:49Speaker 3: or YadA, YadA YadA, And I said, oh, I work
- 8:51Speaker 3: for Big ninety eight point seven. I'm on the morning
- 8:53Speaker 3: show with Angie and YadA, YadA YadA. And they were like, oh,
- 8:56Speaker 3: you're like a radio person. That's awesome. I listened to that.
- 8:58Speaker 3: I'll have to listen for you. Very sweet kind people. Yeah,
- 9:01Speaker 3: And then of course they asked There's like two questions
- 9:04Speaker 3: we would get all the time. Number one is, oh,
- 9:08Speaker 3: what time do you have to get up in the morning? Yeah,
- 9:10Speaker 3: we get that all the time. The other one is like,
- 9:14Speaker 3: so do you go and pick the tunes or do
- 9:16Speaker 3: you pick the music?
- 9:17Speaker 2: Every day? That we had that all the time, it
- 9:20Speaker 2: was just kind of funny.
- 9:21Speaker 3: Those were the first two questions that they had asked.
- 9:24Speaker 3: And I was like, you know this it can't just
- 9:27Speaker 3: Obviously every job this happens to So I had asked,
- 9:30Speaker 3: what is the first question people ask you? And they
- 9:32Speaker 3: find out about your job on Facebook, and a bunch
- 9:35Speaker 3: of people have chimed in, and I'm gonna see if
- 9:37Speaker 3: we can try to figure these out, Angie. Okay, we're
- 9:39Speaker 3: only going to go through a couple, but there are
- 9:41Speaker 3: a ton on here. So if you could do me
- 9:43Speaker 3: a favor, if you commented on here, let us know
- 9:46Speaker 3: if we got your job right. For example, Sarah, she said,
- 9:51Speaker 3: so you get to read all day. I'm assuming she
- 9:54Speaker 3: works at a library.
- 9:55Speaker 4: Yeah, I librarian, Okay.
- 9:58Speaker 3: And then this one is I find this one to
- 10:01Speaker 3: be kind of hilarious.
- 10:03Speaker 2: This is from Amy B. Wallace. You smoked all the
- 10:07Speaker 2: supply man.
- 10:09Speaker 3: What I wonder if they're over at Minnesota?
- 10:12Speaker 2: Oh yeah, right.
- 10:16Speaker 3: And then I have two more for you here, Angie.
- 10:18Speaker 3: This is from Susan. She said, I get more of
- 10:20Speaker 3: a statement. It says thank you you do such hard
- 10:23Speaker 3: rewarding work. My first guest was nurse.
- 10:26Speaker 4: Yeah, that's what I would guess too.
- 10:28Speaker 2: We are on the same page there.
- 10:30Speaker 3: And then this is from Sonia what mortgage rates are.
- 10:36Speaker 4: A loan officer?
- 10:39Speaker 2: Realm. Yeah, this is really fun.
- 10:41Speaker 3: If you are bored at work today and want to
- 10:42Speaker 3: go play a little game, go to Big eight point
- 10:45Speaker 3: seven on Facebook and see if you can guess what
- 10:47Speaker 3: some of these people's jobs are.
- 10:52Speaker 2: First day of July.
- 10:54Speaker 3: If your June's stunk and you stunk in it, make
- 10:57Speaker 3: this July a little bit better than the last month.
- 11:00Speaker 3: That is a little victory in and of itself. We
- 11:04Speaker 3: like starting to show off with little victory. It's just
- 11:07Speaker 3: a fun, exciting, positive way to start every single day.
- 11:11Speaker 3: And we love hearing yours. So don't forget. You can
- 11:13Speaker 3: message those to us. Call us at seven oh one
- 11:15Speaker 3: two eight zero one nine eight seven. Angie, do you
- 11:19Speaker 3: have a little victory today?
- 11:21Speaker 1: My little victory is that I've been catching up on
- 11:25Speaker 1: all my shows. I binged all of Squid Game season three,
- 11:28Speaker 1: and I'm almost done binging all of The Bear season four.
- 11:32Speaker 2: Oh I gotta get on there.
- 11:34Speaker 1: Yes, So I'm feeling real good, Like I'm very up
- 11:37Speaker 1: to date on the trending shows, and that's important to
- 11:41Speaker 1: me for no reason, but it feels good to watch
- 11:43Speaker 1: my grown up shows.
- 11:45Speaker 3: Yeah, I suppose because you're two with your two kids around,
- 11:47Speaker 3: you gotta be a little bit smart. Yeah, because they're young,
- 11:50Speaker 3: but they're old enough to know what's naughty exactly exactly.
- 11:54Speaker 1: And there are things that like my teenager especially, there
- 11:57Speaker 1: are things we both don't want to watch with each
- 11:59Speaker 1: other in room, Like, let's not make things uncomfortable. We're
- 12:04Speaker 1: not trying to watch romantic scenes together.
- 12:07Speaker 2: Okay, it'd be a little bit awkward.
- 12:08Speaker 4: I suppose what's your little victory?
- 12:10Speaker 5: You know what?
- 12:11Speaker 3: My little victory is so stupid, But I love when
- 12:14Speaker 3: this happens. I've shared I think this one time since
- 12:17Speaker 3: I started here back in October November. Okay, my little
- 12:21Speaker 3: victory today, on the way to work, I hit all
- 12:26Speaker 3: fourteen green lights.
- 12:28Speaker 1: Whah.
- 12:28Speaker 3: I live in South Fargo. I did not have to
- 12:32Speaker 3: hit my break one time. This is man the way
- 12:35Speaker 3: in today.
- 12:36Speaker 4: I'm so jealous of you. This is a goal of mine.
- 12:39Speaker 3: It's an incredible feeling. Yes, it's like a high.
- 12:43Speaker 4: Are you? You are like riding high right now?
- 12:45Speaker 3: Okay, little giddy today because when we pull into the
- 12:49Speaker 3: parking lot here at work, you know, I shut off
- 12:51Speaker 3: the truck and it says, like how much miles per
- 12:54Speaker 3: gallon you did on that trip?
- 12:56Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 12:56Speaker 3: And nine times out of ten with like a mid
- 12:58Speaker 3: size truck like I have, you know, somewhere between like
- 13:00Speaker 3: twenty twenty one ish and twenty three. I got almost
- 13:05Speaker 3: twenty seven miles per gallon. Oh wow, cruising on into her.
- 13:10Speaker 3: Oh my gosh. It's the most old man thing about me.
- 13:13Speaker 3: But I love it.
- 13:14Speaker 4: I love it for.
- 13:15Speaker 6: You, Gabe Facebook, I have a question, Angie, what on
- 13:25Speaker 6: earth happened on the Big ninety eight point seven Facebook page?
- 13:30Speaker 2: Was this over the weekend? I think this was on Sunday.
- 13:33Speaker 3: I'm just a bit confused because I was driving home
- 13:36Speaker 3: being a good younger brother, helping my older brother move.
- 13:39Speaker 3: I see a wonderful photo that you had posted of
- 13:42Speaker 3: a double rainbow, very very cool, a lot of other
- 13:45Speaker 3: people capturing this awesome image, and then I realize, I
- 13:50Speaker 3: don't think.
- 13:51Speaker 2: You know who or what you're talking to in the comments.
- 13:54Speaker 3: Can you explain to me what happened with this social
- 13:56Speaker 3: media blunder? So you have not seen this, you need
- 14:01Speaker 3: to get to Big ninety eight point seven's Facebook page
- 14:04Speaker 3: at some point today and look at the wonderful picture
- 14:07Speaker 3: of this rainbow and then scroll down and just hit
- 14:10Speaker 3: view comments and get your popcorn out.
- 14:12Speaker 4: Oh my gosh, okay.
- 14:14Speaker 1: So I posted the picture of the double rainbow and
- 14:18Speaker 1: everybody it was so beautiful awesome, And then everybody was
- 14:22Speaker 1: commenting their photos that they took of the double rainbow,
- 14:26Speaker 1: which is what I was hoping would happen.
- 14:28Speaker 4: And so I went to the.
- 14:30Speaker 1: Big ninety eight second Facebook page and to comment, and
- 14:36Speaker 1: I put yes. I sure ran to the comments, hoping
- 14:39Speaker 1: i'd see more picks ray of the rainbows, and I
- 14:43Speaker 1: signed it off Angie because when you are when we're
- 14:46Speaker 1: posting from Big ninety eight point seven.
- 14:49Speaker 4: It doesn't tell who's posting, right.
- 14:52Speaker 3: We know you probably can figure it out, but it's
- 14:55Speaker 3: just kind of a nice like, hey, this is from me.
- 14:58Speaker 2: This is from me.
- 14:58Speaker 1: Yeah. So then I realize after I post the comment
- 15:04Speaker 1: that I did not post it from the ninety eight point.
- 15:06Speaker 4: Seven Facebook page. I posted it.
- 15:08Speaker 1: From my personal account. So there's my little picture. It
- 15:11Speaker 1: says Angie, moraless my comment. And then I signed it
- 15:14Speaker 1: off Angie, and I thought that looks stupid because everyone
- 15:19Speaker 1: knows it's me. I literally my face and my name
- 15:22Speaker 1: is right there. So then I logged in to the
- 15:26Speaker 1: Big ninety eight point seven Facebook page and I replied
- 15:29Speaker 1: to that comment and I said, I thought I was
- 15:32Speaker 1: commenting from Big ninety eight point seven earlier, and now
- 15:35Speaker 1: I look like a dummy who signs her own comments,
- 15:38Speaker 1: even though my picture and name is right there, crying, laughing, abug,
- 15:42Speaker 1: and then signed it off Angie, because now I did
- 15:44Speaker 1: it from the Big ninety eight point seven page, except.
- 15:47Speaker 4: No, I didn't you, game of.
- 15:51Speaker 2: You saw it?
- 15:53Speaker 1: So then it posts and I see you again my
- 15:57Speaker 1: face and Angie morales, but wow. And so then finally
- 16:04Speaker 1: I really logged into Make ninety eight point seven and
- 16:08Speaker 1: replied to the comment, oh my gosh, I did it again.
- 16:12Speaker 1: Take technology away from me, Angie. But at that point
- 16:15Speaker 1: I wouldn't have had to sign my name. Game.
- 16:17Speaker 3: Yeah, no, I think we all got it. Go check
- 16:21Speaker 3: this out on Facebook. It's great now what I do love,
- 16:24Speaker 3: though we do have to give Angie some credit here.
- 16:27Speaker 2: You were one man enough to leave him up.
- 16:31Speaker 3: Let everyone else enjoy the show, enjoy the laughs you
- 16:34Speaker 3: could have easily.
- 16:36Speaker 4: It's deleted. No, no, no.
- 16:38Speaker 1: When I make a mistake, I own it.
- 16:47Speaker 3: And with a day like today, who knows, maybe you'll
- 16:49Speaker 3: see something like this happen in your neighborhood. While delivering
- 16:54Speaker 3: a package there was a UPS driver who joined a
- 16:59Speaker 3: group of tea teenagers celebrating their high school graduation by
- 17:03Speaker 3: taking a turn in their.
- 17:05Speaker 2: Slip and slide.
- 17:06Speaker 4: Oh how fun.
- 17:07Speaker 3: Of course, the video has gone insanely viral. You'll likely
- 17:11Speaker 3: see it as you're scrolling through TikTok or Instagram today.
- 17:15Speaker 3: The spot the spontaneous say that's spontaneous?
