- 0:02Speaker 1: Two Teas in a Pod with Teddy Mellencamp and Camridge Edge.
- 0:15Speaker 2: Hi guys, welcome to another episode of to Teas and
- 0:18Speaker 2: a Pod with myself, Teddy Mellencamp and.
- 0:21Speaker 3: Hi, Hi America, Jane. This is fun. This is my second,
- 0:26Speaker 3: my second show with you.
- 0:27Speaker 2: And the feedback that we had at after the first
- 0:30Speaker 2: show was huge.
- 0:31Speaker 3: I wonder why, well, I.
- 0:33Speaker 2: Think one because we have a good connection and a
- 0:35Speaker 2: true friendship and also this is something you haven't really
- 0:41Speaker 2: done before, but you're excellent at. Like one of the
- 0:44Speaker 2: things I appreciate about your our friendship is that, like
- 0:47Speaker 2: you will dig into shit with me.
- 0:48Speaker 3: Oh yes, I will, Like I want to know why?
- 0:51Speaker 2: Well, I mean, I'm just to go off kilter here.
- 0:55Speaker 2: I went deep down the Army Hammer rabbit hole recently
- 0:58Speaker 2: again now that he's back, because did you see that
- 1:01Speaker 2: all of his comments are positive on his recent post?
- 1:04Speaker 3: No, I haven't, but you know what I did see
- 1:06Speaker 3: was a post I think on TikTok where he was
- 1:09Speaker 3: selling his truck.
- 1:10Speaker 2: Selling his truck, everybody realized it was his birthday, every like.
- 1:14Speaker 2: And then I went through the comments and all of
- 1:17Speaker 2: the comments were good, and I was like, is this
- 1:18Speaker 2: the time that I should slide into his DMS, and
- 1:21Speaker 2: then I remembered something.
- 1:22Speaker 3: Oh God, don't you out me right here?
- 1:24Speaker 2: Can I out you a little bit? Wasn't he your neighbor?
- 1:27Speaker 3: He was my neighbor. He I moved in. It's so
- 1:30Speaker 3: funny because Los Angeles you wouldn't think of it this way.
- 1:33Speaker 3: But it's kind of a small town. He was my
- 1:36Speaker 3: neighbor for a few months.
- 1:37Speaker 2: And did he ever want to eat a rib?
- 1:39Speaker 3: No? He didn't, but he was very he listened. He
- 1:41Speaker 3: had a lot of people over. He was very social.
- 1:44Speaker 3: And how we started like messaging back and forth, was
- 1:49Speaker 3: I asked him to be quiet.
- 1:52Speaker 2: He just was Was this on a DM or was this.
- 1:55Speaker 3: On your neighbor? Are you gonna be quiet? Or invite
- 1:58Speaker 3: me over? Because he kept out like parties.
- 2:00Speaker 2: Oh hold on, did you say or invite me over?
- 2:03Speaker 3: Yes? I think I did. I can't after it, you know,
- 2:06Speaker 3: I was real bold, and and he said, I'm so
- 2:10Speaker 3: very sorry. I apologize.
- 2:12Speaker 2: You know, they didn't invite you over.
- 2:13Speaker 3: No, he said, may I come over? I'll make you
- 2:15Speaker 3: a stake? And I said sure, And then he got
- 2:18Speaker 3: COVID and then his life blew up. My life was
- 2:21Speaker 3: burning down at the same fucking time these two Like
- 2:24Speaker 3: I literally lived over a pink picket fence with this man.
- 2:29Speaker 3: It is the color pink, and I could see him,
- 2:31Speaker 3: and he could see into where I live, like we
- 2:34Speaker 3: literally like small township and he left town and I stay, well, I.
- 2:39Speaker 2: Have I do have a question when it comes to
- 2:41Speaker 2: it was very kind.
- 2:42Speaker 3: I mean, you know, and I will say this, like
- 2:44Speaker 3: the first time I went to see the house where
- 2:45Speaker 3: I live now, these two girls were fighting over this
- 2:49Speaker 3: guy in the front yard. I had no idea who
- 2:51Speaker 3: Armie Hammer was. My friends Mikey and Laya were like,
- 2:53Speaker 3: is that Armie Hammer? And why are those girls fighting?
- 2:56Speaker 3: These chicks love this man.
- 2:57Speaker 2: So and also I have learned something through going through
- 3:00Speaker 2: and I realized we're supposed to be talking about Orange County,
- 3:03Speaker 2: but this just goes to show the stuff that we
- 3:04Speaker 2: talk about. But he what I have learned is you're
- 3:10Speaker 2: not supposed to kink.
- 3:11Speaker 3: Shame No, is that a kink? So, but here's what
- 3:15Speaker 3: I'm curious about. He was accused of like sa right
- 3:21Speaker 3: or somewhere along that line. We're shredding into shit where
- 3:24Speaker 3: people are going to be.
- 3:25Speaker 2: Like, you said the wrong thing and of course we are,
- 3:28Speaker 2: and that's why I'm talking about it. But my point is,
- 3:30Speaker 2: if all right, what I learned throughout this entire thing
- 3:33Speaker 2: is that if you decide that you're going to go
- 3:37Speaker 2: down that route, the rule is as long as both
- 3:40Speaker 2: people are consenting adults, consenting adults and not under the
- 3:44Speaker 2: influence of a certain amount of alcohol or anything else
- 3:47Speaker 2: or anything else, then that's where it's still okay. You
- 3:51Speaker 2: can make the decision.
- 3:53Speaker 3: Well, a lot of people do make that decision, and
- 3:55Speaker 3: a lot of people do have kinks. And I think
- 3:57Speaker 3: that again, if you're a healthy adult of free you
- 4:00Speaker 3: will that's okay, and you should not king shame, I guess.
- 4:03Speaker 2: And I do think. I'm just saying, Army Hammer, I
- 4:07Speaker 2: think you're gonna have a comeback. I really do. I
- 4:10Speaker 2: mean it's.
- 4:11Speaker 3: Possible for him to. It's very possible for him to
- 4:13Speaker 3: have a comeback. I mean he's hot, he's beautiful. I
- 4:17Speaker 3: mean he's like six foot four or six foot five,
- 4:19Speaker 3: like he's he's.
- 4:19Speaker 2: And that was pickup truck's gone, so like who knows
- 4:22Speaker 2: what he's driving?
- 4:23Speaker 3: Who cares? I love?
- 4:27Speaker 2: My favorite thing is are you I know.
- 4:29Speaker 3: You remember where I live? You never made me dinner.
- 4:34Speaker 2: I was joking actually with Kyle the other day because
- 4:36Speaker 2: we were just laughing about like dming people, and I said,
- 4:39Speaker 2: do you think I should just slide into Army Hammer's
- 4:42Speaker 2: DMS and be like sorry about your truck?
- 4:44Speaker 3: You should be like respond the next neighbor, are you
- 4:48Speaker 3: all right?
- 4:50Speaker 2: But either way, it always goes back to Real Housewives,
- 4:53Speaker 2: Orange County headlines. Let's do it, okay, So we get
- 4:57Speaker 2: a lot this episode where we are seeing history of
- 5:02Speaker 2: people with the way they grew up, the way they're
- 5:05Speaker 2: raising their children, They're all of it. Which I think
- 5:09Speaker 2: if if you're comfortable at some point, we will talk
- 5:11Speaker 2: a little bit about you and your son. Are you
- 5:14Speaker 2: good with us?
- 5:14Speaker 3: Yeah? Obviously I'll stop you.
- 5:16Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm not. So it starts because there's been multiple
- 5:22Speaker 2: news reports through in Touch Weekly and other places where
- 5:27Speaker 2: Katie was accused of cheating on her former husband after
- 5:30Speaker 2: they both called the police on each other in twenty fifteen,
- 5:34Speaker 2: the Cobb County Police in Georgia.
- 5:36Speaker 3: Oh you know what, you know, you can't make this up.
- 5:38Speaker 3: Cobb County. I can see it right now. I mean
- 5:40Speaker 3: I used to live there.
- 5:41Speaker 2: Listen, you can get fried okra at that seven eleven.
- 5:44Speaker 3: It's great boiled peniss soiled.
- 5:48Speaker 2: Yeah, I know it's not. But the Cobb County Police
- 5:52Speaker 2: in Georgia responded to a call and at Katie and
- 5:56Speaker 2: then husband Andrew's home. The report had noted that the
- 5:59Speaker 2: officers met with Andrew and Katie, who both called nine
- 6:02Speaker 2: to one on after having a dispute. Andrew told police
- 6:05Speaker 2: they were arguing about Katie cheating on him and another man.
- 6:08Speaker 2: He suspected that Katie was cheating for months after reading
- 6:11Speaker 2: text messages between Katie and the new man. You know,
- 6:14Speaker 2: who knows what's really happening here, but, the report said.
- 6:16Speaker 2: After getting the cell phone call from his wife, Andrew
- 6:19Speaker 2: said Katie began slapping him on top of the head
- 6:23Speaker 2: in an attempt to get her phone back.
- 6:25Speaker 3: I can't do that, can't take the phone and can't
- 6:27Speaker 3: hit that.
- 6:27Speaker 2: You know you also can't spit.
- 6:30Speaker 3: I do know that my son's a cop. I do
- 6:31Speaker 3: know that.
- 6:32Speaker 2: I wasn't aware that you not spit on anyone.
- 6:34Speaker 3: You can do not bite.
- 6:36Speaker 2: Spit is a felony, yes, yes, So like you think that,
- 6:40Speaker 2: like maybe you're going to be above it, and you're like, no,
- 6:42Speaker 2: don't do that. No, Like the hawk two girl that.
- 6:45Speaker 3: She's spitting on a dick. We're talking about spitting, also
- 6:48Speaker 3: talking about completely different spitting. I do some spitting like
- 6:51Speaker 3: that myself, like to go.
- 6:53Speaker 2: But do you want to hate yourself for a second.
- 6:55Speaker 2: She has more followers than us.
- 6:57Speaker 3: That's okay, good for her.
- 6:58Speaker 2: You know, however, are you taking us down?
- 7:01Speaker 3: Listen to that, young lady. God bless you keep going.
- 7:06Speaker 3: I swear to God, God bless you keep going.
- 7:07Speaker 2: But then I also wonder how much live you need
- 7:09Speaker 2: to have to really get that. I need to work
- 7:12Speaker 2: on it.
- 7:13Speaker 3: We need to get your.
- 7:13Speaker 2: Source, Liva. But anyways, then after getting the cell phone
- 7:19Speaker 2: from his wife, Andrew said, Katie, yeah, she slapped him.
- 7:22Speaker 2: But then one of the officers spoke to the couples
- 7:24Speaker 2: then eleven year old child who told them he saw
- 7:27Speaker 2: Katie hitting his dad while arguing over the phone.
- 7:29Speaker 3: Okay, so there you go. So doesn't that child live
- 7:31Speaker 3: with the dad?
- 7:32Speaker 2: Well that's where I started to get a little bit confused,
- 7:35Speaker 2: because what we're watching on this season appears to be
- 7:39Speaker 2: that the dad. Listen, do I think most phone call?
- 7:43Speaker 3: Oh he'll no. Oh, but it is a good person. Friend,
- 7:46Speaker 3: Jared Blindy, you know from two brace cosmetics and polite society.
- 7:49Speaker 2: I'm so sorry, so sorry.
- 7:52Speaker 3: That's such an amateur move, and I owe him a
- 7:54Speaker 3: phone call. I'm sorry, Jared.
- 7:56Speaker 2: Okay, the fact that you actually ever have your phone
- 7:58Speaker 2: on to ring, it's confusing to me.
- 8:01Speaker 3: Its just not a lot of people call. Yeah, true
- 8:04Speaker 3: that a lot of people have this number. So there
- 8:06Speaker 3: you go.
- 8:07Speaker 2: Can I say what your name is on?
- 8:08Speaker 3: Go right ahead.
- 8:10Speaker 2: So whenever you text, Erica says the baddest bitch alive, that's.
- 8:14Speaker 3: No baddest bitch on the planet, but bitch, So my
- 8:18Speaker 3: Apple ID is baddest bitch on the planet. So when
- 8:22Speaker 3: I'll tell you just a quick story. When Tom and
- 8:25Speaker 3: I lived in the very stuffy, you know, old school neighborhood,
- 8:29Speaker 3: the HOA, the email used to go to baddest bitch
- 8:32Speaker 3: on the planet. It's so imagine these eighty seventy year
- 8:37Speaker 3: old people like so stuck up and then it's the
- 8:39Speaker 3: baddest bitch on the planet.
- 8:41Speaker 2: It's but you realized that I didn't even get that
- 8:44Speaker 2: for the first couple of years that we were friends,
- 8:46Speaker 2: and then I don't know, like maybe.
- 8:48Speaker 3: We wasn't an update that it started.
- 8:50Speaker 2: Oh, because then it started telling me, and I was like,
- 8:52Speaker 2: are you and my phone is baddest bitch in the planet. Yeah,
- 8:56Speaker 2: you do that when we're in like a sprinter van.
- 8:57Speaker 3: And You're like, I'm not baddest bitch on the planet
- 8:59Speaker 3: for god over decades.
- 9:02Speaker 2: I don't even know what I said.
- 9:03Speaker 3: I need to some self esteem over here.
- 9:06Speaker 2: But then just a touch, but then more details on
- 9:11Speaker 2: Katie's divorce. The agreement said Andrew would have primary legal
- 9:16Speaker 2: and physical custody of the children and the final say
- 9:19Speaker 2: when it came to major decisions. Katie was awarded visitations
- 9:23Speaker 2: with her children. The court ordered Katie to pay Andrew
- 9:27Speaker 2: one two and twenty two a month comfooged, and then
- 9:33Speaker 2: in April twenty eighteen, two years after the settlement, Katie
- 9:37Speaker 2: filed a petition to modify custody, parenting time, and child support.
- 9:41Speaker 2: She claimed Andrew had been subjecting their children to emotional abuse,
- 9:45Speaker 2: including telling the male children that they are bastards and idiots,
- 9:50Speaker 2: and Katie claimed her ex called their fourteen year old
- 9:54Speaker 2: daughter a bitch, disgrace and embarrassment. Based on Katie's answer
- 9:58Speaker 2: to the countersuit, Andrew accused Katie failing to pay. The
- 10:01Speaker 2: court ordered child support, she said she had no ability
- 10:04Speaker 2: to pay. In response to the claim, in March twenty nineteen,
- 10:07Speaker 2: the parties entered a consent over custody and support. The
- 10:10Speaker 2: exes agreed to terminate child support, and Katie was named
- 10:13Speaker 2: custodial parent of Kylie and Andrew and was named the
- 10:19Speaker 2: custodial parent to the boys. This is my question.
- 10:24Speaker 3: All of this, by the way, is very sensitive. It's
- 10:26Speaker 3: very hard to hear, you know, like for her. And
- 10:29Speaker 3: this is what happens when you go into reality TV
- 10:31Speaker 3: show here it is you know what.
- 10:32Speaker 2: I mean, right, And we could break down my childhood,
- 10:37Speaker 2: like when people are like, oh, you grew up with
- 10:38Speaker 2: your dad, I'm like, I actually didn't. Like my parents
- 10:42Speaker 2: got divorced when I was in the third grade, and
- 10:46Speaker 2: I lived with my mom, who struggled in multitude of
- 10:50Speaker 2: different ways, and she did the best that she could.
- 10:52Speaker 2: And I saw my dad, you know, every other weekend
- 10:56Speaker 2: for a while, and then I ended up seeing him
- 10:59Speaker 2: not at all from a multitud years. He still calls
- 11:02Speaker 2: it the best three years of his life when we
- 11:03Speaker 2: didn't speak really like he thinks it's hilarious. He's like,
- 11:07Speaker 2: those best three years of my life. When Teddy stopped
- 11:10Speaker 2: talking to me.
- 11:10Speaker 3: But I.
- 11:14Speaker 2: You know where I get my yeah? Six, But like,
- 11:17Speaker 2: where were you and because you were young when you
- 11:21Speaker 2: got pregnant with your son?
- 11:22Speaker 3: Yeah, I was twenty when my son was born. I
- 11:25Speaker 3: got married to my boyfriend and you know, we his
- 11:30Speaker 3: you know, so funny. My first husband's name is Tom.
- 11:34Speaker 2: What hold on? I didn't even know.
- 11:36Speaker 3: That, Teddy, I told you this. My first husband's name
- 11:40Speaker 3: is Tom. My second husband's name is Tom, and my
- 11:43Speaker 3: son's name is Tom.
- 11:44Speaker 2: What's your personal trainer's name?
- 11:46Speaker 3: That's not important? Not Tom?
- 11:49Speaker 2: But is it Tom?
- 11:51Speaker 3: No, it's not. So I have been surrounded by Thomas's,
- 11:55Speaker 3: you know, Thomas Vincent, Thomas, Francesco, Thomas Cage like these
- 11:58Speaker 3: are you know? So yes? I was. Uh, my son,
- 12:02Speaker 3: Thomas was born when I was twenty and I turned
- 12:04Speaker 3: twenty one the next month.
- 12:06Speaker 2: And then where when you realize like I can't even imagine.
- 12:10Speaker 3: I mean no, I had no business being a parent,
- 12:12Speaker 3: and I you know, I did the best I could
- 12:17Speaker 3: with what I had, and thank god, you know, we're
- 12:20Speaker 3: super close.
- 12:20Speaker 2: And but how long did that take for those people
- 12:24Speaker 2: that are out there that do get pregnant young and
- 12:27Speaker 2: that do get married early and then realize like I'm
- 12:30Speaker 2: actually not fully ready.
- 12:32Speaker 3: Well I think that, Listen, you have to I had
- 12:35Speaker 3: a lot of help. You know. My first husband had
- 12:38Speaker 3: his mother who was feeling involved. So my son had
- 12:41Speaker 3: his grandmother. On that side, there was my mother. My
- 12:44Speaker 3: grandmother was alive at the time, so this child had
- 12:46Speaker 3: many hands on him, and I was there too. What happens,
- 12:51Speaker 3: I think is and I'm just going to speak for boys,
- 12:53Speaker 3: because that's I have one boy. You know, they separate
- 12:57Speaker 3: themselves from their mother. They want to be their own person.
- 13:02Speaker 3: They're growing up. I remember one day when I went
- 13:04Speaker 3: to visit my child for lunch because he had like
- 13:06Speaker 3: open campus, and he goes, do me a favorite meet
- 13:09Speaker 3: me on the corner. I was like, meet me on
- 13:11Speaker 3: the corner? What the fuck are you talking to me?
- 13:12Speaker 3: Like no, no, no, Like he had become that age
- 13:15Speaker 3: where I don't want to be seeing with my mom.
- 13:17Speaker 3: All of that to say, my son is thirty two.
- 13:20Speaker 3: I see him three times a week, he's at my house.
- 13:23Speaker 3: Everything is great. But boys are like that. They you know,
- 13:26Speaker 3: they need to go have their own identity. And I
- 13:28Speaker 3: also look at it the same way that I look
- 13:30Speaker 3: at it. With my mom. I needed to get away
- 13:32Speaker 3: from her in order to figure out who I was.
- 13:35Speaker 3: I don't know. That's my story.
- 13:36Speaker 2: But what do you think is the heart like for
- 13:38Speaker 2: me even even with my kids that are you know
- 13:41Speaker 2: here all the time, Like, what do you think the
- 13:45Speaker 2: hardest part for you parenting somebody that you were no
- 13:48Speaker 2: longer with.
- 13:49Speaker 3: I think the hardest part was because I was we
- 13:53Speaker 3: were together and back and forth for weeks at a time.
- 13:58Speaker 3: The hardest part is like what am I missing? I
- 14:01Speaker 3: always get the line of communication open, so if my
- 14:03Speaker 3: son were to call me right now, like I would.
- 14:05Speaker 2: Literally say, excuse me, I need.
- 14:07Speaker 3: To take this call. And I always did that all
- 14:09Speaker 3: his life. But that's what you don't know. What you
- 14:11Speaker 3: don't know, and that's what you're missing out on is
- 14:14Speaker 3: like miles, not necessarily milestones, but when they become teenagers
- 14:17Speaker 3: and they start to come to the fork in the
- 14:19Speaker 3: road where they can make good decisions or bad decisions,
- 14:21Speaker 3: that's where you fuck up because you're not there to help.
- 14:24Speaker 3: That's the problem. That's what my experience was. Yeah, Fortunately
- 14:27Speaker 3: for me, I had a really great kid, so I got.
- 14:29Speaker 2: Super lucky, and I mean it's still amazing. Guy, This
- 14:34Speaker 2: to me is not the most amazing IF news, but
- 14:36Speaker 2: I'm going to try to give golf collaps for this.
- 14:40Speaker 2: Alexis Bellino and John Janssen are engaged after nine months
- 14:45Speaker 2: of dating. People can confirm that the Real Housewives Orange
- 14:48Speaker 2: County couple are engaged. Jansen sixty one popping the question
- 14:52Speaker 2: on Tuesday, August twenty seventh during a getaway at the
- 14:56Speaker 2: Sante Cito Ranch in Santa Barbara. I feel like we've
- 14:58Speaker 2: filmed there, Alexis posted on her.
- 15:02Speaker 3: No, we did not. I would remember. Isn't that a
- 15:04Speaker 3: nice place? We did not film there? Girl, Well we
- 15:07Speaker 3: filmed adjacent to there, and well it was adjacent, way adjacent.
- 15:11Speaker 3: We did not film at the Sania Cidro ranch.
- 15:14Speaker 2: Well, we biked by it and then pretended.
- 15:18Speaker 3: Was not where we stay. Are you talking about that campground?
- 15:21Speaker 3: By the way, where is that r V that we
- 15:25Speaker 3: need to get in? That thing we need to do
- 15:27Speaker 3: like a tour? My god, we were not at the
- 15:30Speaker 3: Sanya Cidro ranch.
- 15:32Speaker 2: I still believe those bitches did not know how to
- 15:34Speaker 2: play beer pong.
- 15:36Speaker 3: And then dere is a master, she's she pretended like
- 15:40Speaker 3: she hustled all of us.
- 15:41Speaker 2: I'm like, Dree, you're more wt than all of us,
- 15:43Speaker 2: but you're pretending you're not.
- 15:45Speaker 3: Well, she's not. She hustled every single person there. She's
- 15:48Speaker 3: a killer on beer pong, she goes. She's also know
- 15:50Speaker 3: all the keg stands like this chicken, She's great. You
- 15:53Speaker 3: want to have a good time, invite Dree. She's a
- 15:55Speaker 3: hell of a good time.
- 15:56Speaker 2: Yeah, she just is a little bit sucked up. I
- 15:59Speaker 2: think end of this world and what people want to see,
- 16:02Speaker 2: But I'm like, what I actually want to see is
- 16:04Speaker 2: that you just kicked my ass and beer ponds and
- 16:06Speaker 2: she did, and you know how to do cornhole.
- 16:08Speaker 3: She knows how to do everything. She knows how to
- 16:10Speaker 3: do everything. And I think sometimes if people knew that
- 16:13Speaker 3: side of her, like we knew her.
- 16:15Speaker 2: That's that's why people would be like, why are you
- 16:16Speaker 2: so mad at her? And I'd be like, but now,
- 16:19Speaker 2: you guys are fine. I'm like, because I see.
- 16:21Speaker 3: Because I know her, right, which is hard for people
- 16:25Speaker 3: to understand that don't that don't do they connect?
- 16:29Speaker 2: But Alexis posted on her Instagram.
- 16:34Speaker 3: She's on cloud nine.
- 16:35Speaker 2: She's just on cloud nine.
- 16:36Speaker 3: Here's the thing.
- 16:38Speaker 2: Why isn't it cloud ten? By the way, I don't know.
- 16:40Speaker 2: Would that be the best cloud to be on?
- 16:43Speaker 3: I don't know. I will say this though, Look, any
- 16:47Speaker 3: relationship is hard. Put it in the public, put it
- 16:51Speaker 3: on a reality TV show, put it surrounded by all
- 16:54Speaker 3: of this, you know, controversy or criticism. Good luck, because
- 16:58Speaker 3: that's gonna be hard, and if it fails, there's going
- 17:02Speaker 3: to be a lot of people cheerleading.
- 17:03Speaker 2: I just like these kinds of posts where you say
- 17:06Speaker 2: something like every moment together has been a guest.
- 17:09Speaker 3: I agree, I am so much to love.
- 17:12Speaker 2: With you, too much, too beautiful life we're building together.
- 17:15Speaker 2: And the answer is, I don't even know how many
- 17:17Speaker 2: zeros that is. So I don't know what the number is,
- 17:19Speaker 2: but like one billion, it probably do.
- 17:23Speaker 3: I bet you. No, Look I don't, but I bet
- 17:26Speaker 3: she does feel wonderful in all of that, and God
- 17:29Speaker 3: bless you. But this shit changes, and it changes on
- 17:32Speaker 3: a dime, and when it does, it sucks, you know.
- 17:36Speaker 3: So that's why I'm much more reserved.
- 17:38Speaker 2: But then she did hashtag, which we know how I
- 17:42Speaker 2: feel about hashtags. Hashtag nine months strong, hashtag love of
- 17:46Speaker 2: my life. Yeah, then she hashtag the post, adding a
- 17:50Speaker 2: verse from Corinthians thirteen thirteen in the Bible of the Red.
- 17:53Speaker 2: And now these three remain faith, hope, and love. But
- 17:56Speaker 2: the greatest of these is love.
- 17:59Speaker 3: Well, she's going to get a good old test that
- 18:02Speaker 3: faith better be strong because marriage is a test and
- 18:06Speaker 3: I'm looking at twenty three years and it ain't going
- 18:08Speaker 3: so great. So if you want to fuck around and
- 18:11Speaker 3: find out, call me. Well.
- 18:13Speaker 2: Also, if you want to fuck around and find out.
- 18:15Speaker 2: I can't imagine it's gonna be going great after this reunion.
- 18:18Speaker 3: Oh no, no, no, whish reunion there reunion? Yeah, No,
- 18:21Speaker 3: it's gonna be horrible. It's gonna be horrible. I was like,
- 18:24Speaker 3: I'm like, I'm.
- 18:25Speaker 2: Like, am I going with?
- 18:26Speaker 3: You? Get nervous?
- 18:30Speaker 2: Like where do we attend? Do we bye? New sweaters?
- 18:32Speaker 3: No? This is not going to be easy, you know. No.
- 18:36Speaker 2: Well, a rep for the pair of confirmed that the
- 18:38Speaker 2: engagement news when reached by people, John and Alexis are
- 18:41Speaker 2: happily engaged and look forward to their long future together
- 18:45Speaker 2: as husband and wife.
- 18:46Speaker 3: We wish them all the best.
- 18:48Speaker 2: We do wish them all the best.
- 18:49Speaker 3: But I also but I think that if I may
- 18:55Speaker 3: just leave Shannon alone, you know, just like you guys,
- 18:58Speaker 3: if y'all are happy, Go be happy, but don't don't
- 19:03Speaker 3: don't smash this girl's face into it that much more, Like,
- 19:05Speaker 3: we can't drag that out much longer. We like, Am
- 19:07Speaker 3: I wrong? No?
- 19:08Speaker 2: I want to just I'm trying to picture myself in
- 19:12Speaker 2: a relationship with somebody that I'm not. I wasn't super
- 19:14Speaker 2: close with on Beverly Hills. But like, okay, so let's
- 19:18Speaker 2: say tomorrow I start dating Mike Nylon, which is garcels X. Yes,
- 19:22Speaker 2: I like, I'm not super close with Garcel. It wouldn't
- 19:25Speaker 2: have been something to hurt her. But like, I just
- 19:28Speaker 2: start dating Mike Nylon and thrust myself into her every
- 19:33Speaker 2: day occurrence.
- 19:36Speaker 3: She would not be happy.
- 19:38Speaker 2: Nobody would be happy. No, But then if I was
- 19:41Speaker 2: really only people that.
- 19:42Speaker 3: Are happy is the network and the producers, right, just
- 19:45Speaker 3: break it down for you.
- 19:46Speaker 2: But if I was really in love with Mike Nylon,
- 19:49Speaker 2: which I know I wouldn't be because I worked with him
- 19:50Speaker 2: for or so a CIA, did you really not interested?
- 19:54Speaker 2: But girl?
- 19:55Speaker 3: Tell me more, I'm just kidding.
- 19:57Speaker 2: He was on Too New That's where you're just wanted
- 20:00Speaker 2: to work because that's where all the talent agents were.
- 20:02Speaker 2: So when I shucked Mail, I always wanted to be too.
- 20:04Speaker 2: Now we start episode eight, Shannon purchased a new car
- 20:20Speaker 2: after her d UI. She needs to install a breathalyzer
- 20:23Speaker 2: in her car, which she thinks will be a good reminder.
- 20:26Speaker 2: Do you think you could make that noise right now?
- 20:29Speaker 2: The hum?
- 20:30Speaker 3: Wait? No, the hum?
- 20:31Speaker 2: But was not it?
- 20:33Speaker 3: No? M hum hummm. I'm trying to make it into
- 20:41Speaker 3: a no. No.
- 20:42Speaker 2: I'm here to fucking tell you if though, if I
- 20:45Speaker 2: was driving in five minutes in it's like blow again,
- 20:48Speaker 2: I would feel nervous like I And at this point,
- 20:51Speaker 2: I don't know if Shannon's been practicing just talking about it,
- 20:55Speaker 2: but she was very likable during her entire Yeah, she
- 20:58Speaker 2: did do UI installation.
- 21:00Speaker 3: Taking it on the chin pretty good.
- 21:02Speaker 2: Would you rather have a breathalyzer or lose your license
- 21:05Speaker 2: for six months? I like driving, so I'd happily lose
- 21:09Speaker 2: my life.
- 21:10Speaker 3: I know you don't like driving them. Have you discussed
- 21:12Speaker 3: your driving anxiety on this show? Oh?
- 21:14Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, everybody knows. I mean I drive one day
- 21:16Speaker 2: a week, it's Wednesdays.
- 21:19Speaker 1: It goes.
- 21:20Speaker 3: Where does that come from? Because here you you ride
- 21:23Speaker 3: these amazing, incredibly hard to control horses that are thousands
- 21:28Speaker 3: of pounds and you can't get behind the wheel. I
- 21:30Speaker 3: have never understood that.
- 21:31Speaker 2: For me, it's not it's not driving, it's parking in
- 21:35Speaker 2: the unknown.
- 21:36Speaker 3: What Yes, it's fucking parking in the unknown.
- 21:40Speaker 2: So, like, I know I can drive to Hot eight Yoga.
- 21:42Speaker 2: I know I can drive to Gelson's. If you were to,
- 21:45Speaker 2: like tell me to drive to your place that I
- 21:47Speaker 2: had never parked at before, Yeah, no.
- 21:50Speaker 3: Way, because you don't know where to park.
- 21:52Speaker 2: I don't know where to park and the idea of
- 21:54Speaker 2: circling around gives me like raging, massive anxiety.
- 21:59Speaker 3: Where does that come from?
- 22:00Speaker 2: I don't know. It's I think maybe because I grew
- 22:03Speaker 2: up in Hiltonhead it was so small. Well, yeah, and
- 22:06Speaker 2: then how.
- 22:06Speaker 3: Do you live here? I mean, this is the whole thing,
- 22:09Speaker 3: is driving. I mean Los Angeles is not the big
- 22:11Speaker 3: driver anxiety.
- 22:12Speaker 2: Well, I drove a lot, and you know, until I
- 22:15Speaker 2: had kids and I did what I had to do,
- 22:17Speaker 2: like I had to drive for work. And then truthfully,
- 22:20Speaker 2: and I'm not blaming I'm not blaming the network, I'm
- 22:23Speaker 2: not blaming anyone. But for those three and a half years, yeah,
- 22:28Speaker 2: where you no longer have to drive? Yeah, then when
- 22:33Speaker 2: you already have an anxiety about to get worse. It
- 22:35Speaker 2: got worse.
- 22:36Speaker 3: Oh shit.
- 22:37Speaker 2: And then like Metti became a part of my life
- 22:39Speaker 2: and he drove I mean, I didn't make out with
- 22:41Speaker 2: him like sometton made out with her driver, but.
- 22:44Speaker 3: Which is I still am blown away.
- 22:46Speaker 2: By that, but either way, that's that's what created the issue.
- 22:49Speaker 2: But then Katie and Jen go to yoga together, and
- 22:52Speaker 2: all I could think is if I made Erica go
- 22:54Speaker 2: to a yoga at my house.
- 22:55Speaker 3: By the way, Billy Bush told me that you and
- 22:58Speaker 3: Kyle go to hot yoga and me, yeah, we do
- 23:01Speaker 3: right over here. Yeah, so you're welcome to come when out. Fine,
- 23:04Speaker 3: it's in the morning. Yeah, it's like six or something.
- 23:06Speaker 3: He's like, you should come with Teddy and Carl. When
- 23:08Speaker 3: I it's six am, I was like ugh.
- 23:10Speaker 2: But Billy's like definitely one of those that takes his
- 23:12Speaker 2: shirt off and he's like ooh making noise during the yoga,
- 23:16Speaker 2: and I'm like, I need you.
- 23:17Speaker 3: To really yeah, so he's really into it. Yeah, but
- 23:22Speaker 3: he's like, oh the breathing, oh god.
- 23:25Speaker 2: Yeah. I'm like, Billy, Billy're gonna have to pull it together.
- 23:29Speaker 2: But Katie texted Heather after a big bear, and then
- 23:33Speaker 2: Heather didn't respond clearly. And then Katie shares that she
- 23:36Speaker 2: and her first husband got married when she was twenty
- 23:38Speaker 2: one with a fourteen month old baby, and her husband, Matt,
- 23:41Speaker 2: is basically dad to her two oldest kids. Jen hopes
- 23:45Speaker 2: her family will find a similar family balance with Katie.
- 23:51Speaker 2: This is my issue. It's not that this story happened.
- 23:55Speaker 2: It's that this Katie, like we just read it, this
- 23:58Speaker 2: feels like a very different story than we just heard
- 24:00Speaker 2: in the headline. So just give me it. Give me
- 24:02Speaker 2: a half assed version of what the real story is.
- 24:04Speaker 2: I don't need the full story.
- 24:06Speaker 3: So you're saying that she's maybe just making it easier
- 24:10Speaker 3: on the show than it really is.
- 24:11Speaker 2: I think she's saying. I mean, she's putting pretty much
- 24:14Speaker 2: putting blame all the blame on her AX.
- 24:18Speaker 3: That's a lot of women.
- 24:19Speaker 2: But like, I was married before. I have nothing negative
- 24:23Speaker 2: to say about my AX.
- 24:24Speaker 3: You have always said that, but you also have you
- 24:27Speaker 3: didn't have children, right, you weren't married for very long.
- 24:31Speaker 2: I never called the cops.
- 24:33Speaker 3: Right, These are very different things. Yeah, you know to
- 24:36Speaker 3: to I don't know this woman, but I mean, you know,
- 24:39Speaker 3: look when you start fighting in a marriage, all kinds
- 24:42Speaker 3: of shit happens, like really bad stuff.
- 24:45Speaker 2: But I also have another question because she keeps talking
- 24:48Speaker 2: about how much she has sex with Matt. I think
- 24:52Speaker 2: that's his name.
- 24:54Speaker 3: We don't need that, do we build? Twice a day?
- 24:58Speaker 2: Twice a day? Are we thinking that that's really a
- 25:01Speaker 2: thing for?
- 25:01Speaker 3: I mean, is he on some really good testosterone?
- 25:05Speaker 2: I mean, how old do? That's what I'm.
- 25:06Speaker 3: Saying, because he's at that age where you would need
- 25:09Speaker 3: some tea and some and not tea, but test and
- 25:13Speaker 3: you would need some. Yeah, you would need.
- 25:16Speaker 2: But also they've been married a pretty good amount of time.
- 25:19Speaker 2: So we've got John Jansen and Alexis who are supposedly
- 25:22Speaker 2: having sex.
- 25:22Speaker 3: Four Apparently these men down in Orange County are really
- 25:25Speaker 3: good lovers. So what am I doing?
- 25:27Speaker 2: Should we move there?
- 25:28Speaker 3: No? No, no, apparently, but apparently these men are well
- 25:33Speaker 3: in doubt and sexually acted down there. I'm blown away.
- 25:39Speaker 3: God bless y'all. I mean anything that I don't know
- 25:43Speaker 3: anything about that up here? How these shows differ. Although
- 25:49Speaker 3: we did have that one person that said she had
- 25:50Speaker 3: sex with her man three times.
- 25:52Speaker 2: A day, right, but then she I mean she said that,
- 25:57Speaker 2: and I could tell you I couldn't have sex with
- 26:00Speaker 2: that man three times a year or in my lifetime.
- 26:03Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, look at you?
- 26:06Speaker 2: Would you? You would have?
- 26:07Speaker 3: I would not. No, No, I would not.
- 26:10Speaker 2: Fine, we're gonna play a quick game. Would you rather
- 26:13Speaker 2: have sex with Aaron?
- 26:15Speaker 3: Okay or p K? What type of pharmaceuticals are available here?
- 26:24Speaker 3: I need some pharmaceuticals.
- 26:25Speaker 2: It's my question. You have to answer it if you
- 26:28Speaker 2: want to give me the hard questions, you want to
- 26:30Speaker 2: throw it Aaron K.
- 26:33Speaker 3: I jump out the window. I'm not answering this question.
- 26:37Speaker 2: Fine soak? Oh stop?
- 26:40Speaker 3: Why do you even know what that means?
- 26:42Speaker 2: Because I cover Mormon lives of the is that considered
- 26:46Speaker 2: sex or not? No? Soaking, isn't it because you're just
- 26:50Speaker 2: you're not penetrating. You have to have your friend jump
- 26:52Speaker 2: on the bed back and forth so that it'll move
- 26:54Speaker 2: up and down. That's called bed hopping.
- 26:58Speaker 3: Holy shit, out living? What the fuck is going on?
- 27:03Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 27:03Speaker 3: Okay, back to neither. I'm gonna differ. You can ask
- 27:08Speaker 3: me another one. I've already gotten in trouble with saying
- 27:10Speaker 3: to read and PK years ago. I'm not gonna you
- 27:12Speaker 3: know this is whatever? Whatever?
- 27:15Speaker 2: Fine, I quit then Katie and her daughter Caylee fill
- 27:18Speaker 2: out paperwork for her to make Matt's last name her
- 27:22Speaker 2: last name.
- 27:23Speaker 3: I did this, you know that? Yeah? Yeah.
- 27:37Speaker 2: So then we get to Emily and Shane's free channing
- 27:40Speaker 2: each other, which I would have appreciated this scene if
- 27:42Speaker 2: they weren't free channing each other.
- 27:44Speaker 3: He seems like a decent person. Am I right about this?
- 27:47Speaker 3: He's like a nice person.
- 27:48Speaker 2: Yeah, he's a nice person. I think that she.
- 27:51Speaker 3: Looks like she has a lot of pain, like a
- 27:53Speaker 3: lot of unresolved pain. She talks about her mom. I
- 27:56Speaker 3: think she must have had a really hard time coming
- 27:58Speaker 3: up and fought very hard to get everything that she has.
- 28:01Speaker 3: And I see that's why she's so mean to Jen.
- 28:04Speaker 2: And I think she's just it's a little out of balance. Yeah,
- 28:08Speaker 2: whenever you are projecting your personal feelings about yourself onto
- 28:13Speaker 2: somebody else, I do think it's quite more aggressive. And
- 28:16Speaker 2: I I mean, I podcast with Emily once a week.
- 28:21Speaker 2: She can give me shit. I laugh about it. I
- 28:23Speaker 2: enjoy her. But I think when we start to see
- 28:28Speaker 2: her pain about the way that she grew up, it
- 28:33Speaker 2: is interesting. But the part that I found most interesting
- 28:36Speaker 2: in this scene was not the spray Tan or Shane
- 28:39Speaker 2: wearing a fucking shirt that said real mean spray Tan. Yeah,
- 28:42Speaker 2: that could have done without it. But it's when she said,
- 28:48Speaker 2: am I a good mom?
- 28:49Speaker 3: Yes? Which is so painful to hear because that's I
- 28:53Speaker 3: think that, and we hear that a lot on these shows,
- 28:56Speaker 3: right on housewives shows. You're a good mom, You're not
- 28:58Speaker 3: a good mom? Don't say that, you know that's me,
- 29:01Speaker 3: is like.
- 29:03Speaker 2: But I think she legitimately feels that way. Why because
- 29:08Speaker 2: I don't think she had a mom.
- 29:10Speaker 3: Yeah, but aren't her children doing well?
- 29:13Speaker 2: I think they're doing well, But I think there is
- 29:15Speaker 2: if you didn't have, you know, a mom or a
- 29:19Speaker 2: dad that supported you in a certain way. I feel
- 29:21Speaker 2: like there's something that you think you could always do better.
- 29:25Speaker 3: But that's true, I think with anything. I don't think
- 29:28Speaker 3: I All mothers think they could do more. All mothers
- 29:33Speaker 3: wish they could do more. I think that's just part
- 29:35Speaker 3: of being a mom. But obviously when you have family
- 29:39Speaker 3: issues or you were raised a certain way, I'm sure
- 29:41Speaker 3: that they are double.
- 29:43Speaker 2: But I wish they would dig into this a little
- 29:46Speaker 2: bit more and give us a little bit more history
- 29:48Speaker 2: on her family and all of that, because then we
- 29:51Speaker 2: do see it later come into play once they they're
- 29:55Speaker 2: at the traders event and she says what she says
- 29:57Speaker 2: to Jin, but Emily says, she knows she can be aggressive,
- 30:02Speaker 2: but it's because.
- 30:03Speaker 3: She had to be. I understand that. Yeah, I mean
- 30:07Speaker 3: there are moments in time when you really have to
- 30:09Speaker 3: be aggressive in order just to survive. I really understood
- 30:13Speaker 3: where she was coming from with that. The balance. The
- 30:16Speaker 3: trick is to find the balance of when I'm not,
- 30:20Speaker 3: you know, forced to survive right now, like things are okay,
- 30:23Speaker 3: so I don't need to be that aggressive. That's the
- 30:26Speaker 3: trick is finding that balance. It's okay to have that
- 30:29Speaker 3: skill set when needed. It's when it comes out when
- 30:32Speaker 3: you don't need it that you look bad.
- 30:34Speaker 2: Then everybody arrives at Tamra's Trader's party. Tamra invited Vicky
- 30:38Speaker 2: because she thought it would make Shannon more comfortable. But
- 30:41Speaker 2: then Vicky, get off your fucking phone in the car.
- 30:46Speaker 2: That really pissed me off.
- 30:48Speaker 3: Oh that she Well, she had a client you've had.
- 30:52Speaker 3: I've seen you work too, ted Listen, I see it, Teddy,
- 30:58Speaker 3: I have seen you work, but.
- 30:59Speaker 2: Imagine our one like you know how it happens and
- 31:03Speaker 2: I'm sorry. If you were pouring your heart out to.
- 31:06Speaker 3: Me, she's heard it a million times. I bet that's
- 31:07Speaker 3: why she's there.
- 31:08Speaker 2: And you were like, just start pouring your heart out.
- 31:10Speaker 2: I'm like, yeah, I don't know, do the point sixty seven.
- 31:14Speaker 2: That's fine.
- 31:15Speaker 3: I just no, she's not here for you, like so
- 31:19Speaker 3: over it, over it, she was so even.
- 31:23Speaker 2: Shannon goes, let let me know when you're done.
- 31:26Speaker 3: I know I saw that that I don't like.
- 31:28Speaker 2: Okay, and we've we've all been in those moments. Nobody
- 31:32Speaker 2: wants to be in the sprinter, nobody wants to.
- 31:33Speaker 3: Be nobody going to the trader's party. No, And by
- 31:37Speaker 3: the way, why does Vicky dislike you so much?
- 31:42Speaker 2: She originally started disliking me because.
- 31:45Speaker 3: She called you Tamra's minion.
- 31:47Speaker 2: She called me, of course, I mean that's everybody's well,
- 31:50Speaker 2: yeah I'm this person's minion or that. But I think
- 31:53Speaker 2: she originally started disliking me because she wanted to do
- 31:56Speaker 2: a podcast with Tamra.
- 31:57Speaker 3: Ah okay, but.
- 32:00Speaker 2: She wanted to discuss insurance and real estate.
- 32:04Speaker 3: Nobody cares. Yeah, wait is Tamra okay?
- 32:08Speaker 2: Well, because Tamra's a real estate age right, Okay, right,
- 32:12Speaker 2: so then when we offered Tamra the job, that's where
- 32:15Speaker 2: it all started, and she started coming from me in
- 32:17Speaker 2: the press and everything started happening. But at the end
- 32:21Speaker 2: of the day, I don't really know VICKI.
- 32:23Speaker 3: Yeah, I've met Vicki once or twice.
- 32:25Speaker 2: What'd you think of her?
- 32:27Speaker 3: It was very on the surface, Hi, how are you? Yeah,
- 32:31Speaker 3: it wasn't much, you know, much more than that, but
- 32:35Speaker 3: not that there should have been, but there just wasn't.
- 32:37Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, I think so I need to point
- 32:40Speaker 2: out that this event was the coldest I've ever been
- 32:43Speaker 2: in my entire life.
- 32:44Speaker 3: You mean, freezing, cold, freezing. It looked cold as hell.
- 32:47Speaker 3: And I'll tell you why, because I was watching I
- 32:49Speaker 3: was like, these bitches are so cold in that rain.
- 32:51Speaker 3: Having known that, like we shot like that before, So
- 32:54Speaker 3: you're telling me this is the coldest you've ever been ever.
- 32:57Speaker 3: That's a tough statement, ever been.
- 32:59Speaker 2: Because so it was like kind of like an old
- 33:01Speaker 2: haunted house type of vibe. And I had to be
- 33:04Speaker 2: there early, so I'm like sitting there and I, you know,
- 33:09Speaker 2: I see all of our old producers and I honestly,
- 33:11Speaker 2: before they even got there, I was like like standing
- 33:15Speaker 2: in front of a heat lamp walk out, of course,
- 33:19Speaker 2: just to fuck with Vicky said the housewives and Vicky comment, well,
- 33:23Speaker 2: of course, I mean she could have been a little
- 33:26Speaker 2: bit nicer.
- 33:27Speaker 3: But she wasn't. And you know what, she's good at it.
- 33:29Speaker 3: You're good at it. The people love to keep going.
- 33:32Speaker 2: Well, then Vicky calls me a fucking bitch, which I'm
- 33:38Speaker 2: used to and but I did give a compliment. So Katie,
- 33:41Speaker 2: I apologize for anything I've ever said because you said
- 33:44Speaker 2: I was stunning. So thank you.
- 33:46Speaker 3: We were stunning, beautiful, Thank you.
- 33:48Speaker 2: I was in my writing outfit.
- 33:49Speaker 3: I know you look absolutely beautiful.
- 33:51Speaker 2: Thank you. Then the game is a little bit hard,
- 33:55Speaker 2: you can see.
- 33:57Speaker 3: Okay, Yeah, I first off, I never watched Traders. I
- 34:01Speaker 3: know it does really well, and they may or may
- 34:03Speaker 3: not have asked me to be on the.
- 34:05Speaker 2: First episode the first season. Yeah, why don't we do
- 34:09Speaker 2: the next season?
- 34:11Speaker 3: I mean we could, but I was in those shapes.
- 34:14Speaker 2: But would you want to be a Trader or a faith.
- 34:15Speaker 3: I've never watched, so I don't know what it is.
- 34:18Speaker 2: Oh, I don't want to be a trader.
- 34:19Speaker 3: You would be a trader?
- 34:21Speaker 2: I want to you don't get to pay?
- 34:22Speaker 3: Oh, you don't get to pick.
- 34:23Speaker 2: They pick for you, Yeah, they picked for you. I
- 34:25Speaker 2: think it'd be too on the nose for you to
- 34:27Speaker 2: be a trader. You'd have to be a faithful.
- 34:30Speaker 3: What are you trying to say, I'm a trader, real alive.
- 34:32Speaker 2: No, but everybody expects for you to have the most
- 34:35Speaker 2: Like you are smart, and you're decisive, and you're quick
- 34:39Speaker 2: and like you're you could also be disarming.
- 34:44Speaker 3: Well, i'd have to watch the show. What the fuck
- 34:46Speaker 3: is it even about?
- 34:48Speaker 2: It's like Clue?
- 34:49Speaker 3: Oh I love Clue.
- 34:50Speaker 2: Yeah, so it's like Clue.
- 34:51Speaker 3: Okay, cool, But it can it be missus Scarlett because she.
- 34:54Speaker 2: Was the most fun Yeah, and she's a cuist.
- 34:56Speaker 3: Yeah, the best costume. That's what I wanted to be her.
- 35:01Speaker 2: But then we kind of talk about like what's happening
- 35:04Speaker 2: behind the scenes, blah blah blah. I'm not upset that
- 35:08Speaker 2: Vicky calls me a bit. It takes one and no one.
- 35:10Speaker 2: We've been through this forever.
- 35:12Speaker 3: I think you're a big girl.
- 35:14Speaker 2: Do you know how much it takes to hurt my feelings?
- 35:16Speaker 1: Now?
- 35:17Speaker 3: Yeah? A lot?
- 35:18Speaker 2: Really fucking we've talked about the ship that's happened to
- 35:21Speaker 2: us since twenty nineteen, yeah, just before the pod.
- 35:25Speaker 3: It's been a Tony and I are on a real
- 35:28Speaker 3: roll since twenty nineteen in the old personal disaster area.
- 35:32Speaker 3: I mean, I don't know if two people there, I'm.
- 35:35Speaker 2: Like, do you really think you're gonna hurt my feelings
- 35:38Speaker 2: by Granted, you could have hurt my feelings by just
- 35:41Speaker 2: like sneezing on me in my first seasons of Beverly Hills.
- 35:44Speaker 3: But it's a different thing. But now you are like,
- 35:46Speaker 3: you know, I'm a callous fucking kid. Your heart as stone,
- 35:53Speaker 3: It's okay.
- 35:53Speaker 2: Then we go into cocktail our, Tamra thinks the trader
- 35:58Speaker 2: could be Jenner, Gina, Heather invite it's Katie to her
- 36:01Speaker 2: event and Sonoma and then Katie apologizes and they cheers
- 36:04Speaker 2: and move on. Do you believe this apology whatsoever?
- 36:08Speaker 3: Ah?
- 36:10Speaker 2: Do you think? Do you think Heather wants to be
- 36:12Speaker 2: friends with Kate?
- 36:13Speaker 3: I don't think so. I don't think. I don't think
- 36:15Speaker 3: she's concerned about being friends with Katie.
- 36:17Speaker 2: But why do you think that is? Do you think
- 36:18Speaker 2: it's because she's been around for a long time, or
- 36:21Speaker 2: she's too good for it, or she doesn't think that
- 36:23Speaker 2: Katie's good for the show.
- 36:25Speaker 3: No, I just I don't think any of that. I
- 36:27Speaker 3: think Heather's just being herself, Like, if she doesn't want
- 36:30Speaker 3: to be friends with someone, she doesn't feel like she
- 36:31Speaker 3: has to be.
- 36:32Speaker 2: Do you think that she wants to be friends with Gina?
- 36:37Speaker 2: I love when I stump you, It's my favorite.
- 36:39Speaker 3: I can't tell, I can't tell. I'm gonna get a
- 36:45Speaker 3: lot of trouble for this. Heather's inn a league of
- 36:46Speaker 3: her own. She's playing another game.
- 36:50Speaker 2: How do you think Heather would do if she was
- 36:52Speaker 2: brought onto Beverly Hills?
- 36:56Speaker 3: Probably good?
- 36:58Speaker 2: But I think she's doing that if you really, yeah,
- 37:02Speaker 2: you don't really? Yeah, I think she would come on good.
- 37:05Speaker 2: And then the second one of y'all gave her up.
- 37:09Speaker 3: Yeah. I don't think of her well enough. I haven't
- 37:14Speaker 3: not familiar enough. I feel like Heather is just in
- 37:19Speaker 3: a different She's on a different plane, and that's not
- 37:23Speaker 3: in a bad way, in a good way. And I
- 37:24Speaker 3: don't think that like she thinks she's better than I
- 37:26Speaker 3: think she's just you know, she's playing from a different place.
- 37:29Speaker 2: You're like, she just is better than she's.
- 37:32Speaker 3: Just in a different place. She just plays housewives differently.
- 37:35Speaker 3: I don't think she really cares whether Katie's her friend
- 37:37Speaker 3: or not, and not in a bad way or good way.
- 37:39Speaker 3: I think she's very neutral, is what I'm trying to say.
- 37:42Speaker 3: It is what it is with her. Yeah, I don't
- 37:45Speaker 3: think that she's looking for friends, and I don't think
- 37:47Speaker 3: she cares if you're her enemy. She's very neutral.
- 37:50Speaker 2: Do you like her? Like? Do you would you when
- 37:52Speaker 2: you look at the show and you're like, who would
- 37:54Speaker 2: be my friends? Who would be your friend?
- 37:56Speaker 1: Oh?
- 37:56Speaker 3: I always get along with those that no one gets
- 37:58Speaker 3: along with, so of course I always get along with
- 38:02Speaker 3: the tougher personalities. Yeah, I would probably be friends with her.
- 38:05Speaker 3: I see her thinking a lot. And I also knew
- 38:08Speaker 3: that she was the trader. Yeah, yeah, there was something
- 38:11Speaker 3: she said. I was like, that sounds like how they
- 38:13Speaker 3: did Brown.
- 38:13Speaker 2: I did think it was pretty genius that they didn't
- 38:17Speaker 2: allow the audience to know who the trader was. But
- 38:21Speaker 2: what about the fact that I messed up who she
- 38:23Speaker 2: fucking pointed at? Oh?
- 38:26Speaker 3: This sense habits all like this is where she pointed,
- 38:30Speaker 3: and I was confused myself.
- 38:31Speaker 2: Okay, so there was a point. They never showed the
- 38:34Speaker 2: point because clearly I missed. So I see the point.
- 38:40Speaker 2: It's freezing. I have hypothermia. I'm like, just trying to
- 38:44Speaker 2: do what I gotta do, and they do a point
- 38:47Speaker 2: I say the wrong person.
- 38:49Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, shit.
- 38:51Speaker 2: And then Heather This is where I loved Heather. She
- 38:53Speaker 2: pulled me aside that they don't show this on camera,
- 38:55Speaker 2: and she's like.
- 38:56Speaker 3: What the fuck is wrong with you?
- 38:58Speaker 4: I pointed it, like in a funny She's like, I
- 39:01Speaker 4: pointed it, and I was like, She's like, I didn't
- 39:03Speaker 4: point it, Dearra, And I'm like, you you did, like
- 39:09Speaker 4: your acrylic was pointing that right, You're aclic.
- 39:15Speaker 2: But either way. Then Heather invites Katie to Sonoma. Katie apologizes,
- 39:21Speaker 2: they cheers, They move on. Emily apologizes to Jen for
- 39:26Speaker 2: yelling at her. Jen says she feels like Emily sees
- 39:29Speaker 2: her is less than her, and Emily says, it's not true.
- 39:32Speaker 3: I could see why Jen wouldn't say that. Gen strikes
- 39:34Speaker 3: me as somebody very sensitive, and Emily is a strong personality,
- 39:38Speaker 3: and we have seen her not like talk down to her,
- 39:41Speaker 3: but talk at her in a way that possibly would
- 39:43Speaker 3: make her feel that way.
- 39:43Speaker 2: I get that, I can say, and I don't know
- 39:46Speaker 2: what happens in the future of this season, But that
- 39:50Speaker 2: night I loved Jen.
- 39:53Speaker 3: She was really good. She was y, well spoken, and
- 39:55Speaker 3: she was she was together.
- 39:57Speaker 2: Like I remember, she's she's a sha It's teammate and
- 40:01Speaker 2: most of the questions are shading Shannon, right, I mean,
- 40:05Speaker 2: she's Shannon's teammate. Most of the questions are shading Shannon,
- 40:08Speaker 2: and she's like able to look at her and be
- 40:10Speaker 2: like the biggest drinker, that's you.
- 40:13Speaker 3: I liked it.
- 40:13Speaker 2: I liked it. I enjoyed her that night. I thought
- 40:16Speaker 2: she was really fun. I did think filming with Orange
- 40:19Speaker 2: County was a whole hell of a lot easier than
- 40:21Speaker 2: filming with Beverly Hills, because they're all kinds of shit shows,
- 40:26Speaker 2: and like there was a part of Beverly Hills that
- 40:29Speaker 2: just with all do, as Andy would say, with all
- 40:36Speaker 2: do takes themselves too seriously.
- 40:39Speaker 3: I said that everybody in Beverly Hills is so.
- 40:41Speaker 2: Precious, and I when I first started, I was nowhere
- 40:46Speaker 2: near being precious. Like I was like still doing my
- 40:50Speaker 2: forever twenty one, trying to figure out shit years behind
- 40:55Speaker 2: everybody else's life. So go walking into Orange County and
- 40:59Speaker 2: it being just a total shit showing, everybody laughing and
- 41:01Speaker 2: having fun.
- 41:02Speaker 3: I was like, I, well, that's the way it should be, right,
- 41:05Speaker 3: that's the way it should be. You should be laughing
- 41:07Speaker 3: and having fun. And then you come up here and
- 41:09Speaker 3: we're a bunch.
- 41:09Speaker 2: Of like, no, we can't be self deprecating.
- 41:14Speaker 3: Wetecting everything. Everybody is protecting their own. Yeah. So I
- 41:18Speaker 3: mean I think I do think that it's lightened up
- 41:21Speaker 3: a bit.
- 41:22Speaker 2: I do.
- 41:23Speaker 3: Renna was always self deprecating.
- 41:25Speaker 2: Renna was my last even though I got fired my
- 41:28Speaker 2: last year, that was my favorite year. Good, Like, like,
- 41:31Speaker 2: Renna and I had so much fun. We had so
- 41:33Speaker 2: much fun, like all of it. Like when I was like,
- 41:37Speaker 2: what the fuck are you doing? You're gonna eat your
- 41:38Speaker 2: own placenta that's disgusting, and like producers looked at us
- 41:42Speaker 2: like I was gonna be upset, and I was like, yeah,
- 41:44Speaker 2: I am supposed to help with postpartum.
- 41:46Speaker 3: Well yeah, you know, she you know, Yeah, I'm shocked
- 41:53Speaker 3: to hear you say that, because I think that the
- 41:55Speaker 3: OC girls are very you know, they they say how
- 41:58Speaker 3: they feel we'll call each other. Well we did too.
- 42:01Speaker 3: I should be quiet because I call everybody names all
- 42:03Speaker 3: the time.
- 42:03Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, it is what is? It felt easy?
- 42:05Speaker 2: Maybe it was because it was one time. Anything one
- 42:08Speaker 2: time is easy, well not always anyways. Then Shannon, Tamra,
- 42:17Speaker 2: and Vicky go off together. Shannon says Tamra liked a
- 42:20Speaker 2: post of Alexis with the hashtags friendships forming. Tamra says
- 42:24Speaker 2: it's not her fault John is dating Alexis. They talk
- 42:27Speaker 2: about the trace amigas. All I say is that after
- 42:32Speaker 2: seeing that dance, I'm glad Vicky banned me from coming
- 42:38Speaker 2: to that show. You realized she wouldn't let me attend.
- 42:41Speaker 3: Why.
- 42:42Speaker 2: Tamra's like, can you come and support? Yeah, whatever, and
- 42:46Speaker 2: Vicky's like, absolutely not.
- 42:47Speaker 3: And the reason for that? Why does she have such
- 42:49Speaker 3: a She really dislikes it.
- 42:50Speaker 2: She hates me.
- 42:51Speaker 3: Huh.
- 42:52Speaker 2: But I was like, after seeing the dance, it was
- 42:54Speaker 2: probably best I wasn't there.
- 42:56Speaker 3: Yeah, you don't need that in your life right now.
- 42:59Speaker 2: Then we into teams. It's Heather, Katie and Gina, Vicki
- 43:02Speaker 2: Tammer and Emily jenn and Shannon. Who's the most offensive Shannon.
- 43:08Speaker 2: Who's the first to throw someone under the bus? Ca?
- 43:11Speaker 3: Yeah she will. Who drinks the mouth Shannon?
- 43:14Speaker 2: Everybody was honest, Yeah, who's the biggest trader? Camera yeah,
- 43:19Speaker 2: So do we agree on all these answers?
- 43:21Speaker 3: Yeah, because yes, I mean, of course that's the way
- 43:24Speaker 3: the game is played. Yeah, And the fact that they
- 43:26Speaker 3: could all say that is kind of fun.
- 43:29Speaker 2: Except I felt like Gina was like off, Gina was
- 43:32Speaker 2: obsessing about Katie a lot. I'm like, nobody, I have
- 43:36Speaker 2: to be honest, I was there.
- 43:37Speaker 3: I didn't pay that much attention I had. I'm paying
- 43:39Speaker 3: attention to other cast members, to be quite honest.
- 43:42Speaker 2: With you, But I had to compile the scores. Yeah,
- 43:45Speaker 2: nobody picked Katie for anything except for Gina. And then
- 43:51Speaker 2: I was like, what's your heart on for Katie? Gina? Right,
- 43:53Speaker 2: you brought her in supposedly, so why are you? Yeah, like,
- 43:58Speaker 2: why are you coming for her? Then I awkwardly pushed
- 44:02Speaker 2: Tamar into the pool.
- 44:03Speaker 3: Which I thought was probably your best moment. I would
- 44:05Speaker 3: have liked to have seen that. I would have liked
- 44:07Speaker 3: to have seen that, Teddy on BH, I know a
- 44:10Speaker 3: couple of bitches you'd like to push into the pool,
- 44:13Speaker 3: and I would have helped you. It was probably one
- 44:14Speaker 3: of the bitches you'd like to push in. And that's okay.
- 44:16Speaker 2: At the beginning, when you were in that fucking red Latex,
- 44:19Speaker 2: I would have liked to push you into whatever that boy.
- 44:24Speaker 3: Trapped me.
- 44:24Speaker 2: You're like, hold on, I need baby powder to get
- 44:28Speaker 2: this on. I was like, well, we've now been waiting
- 44:31Speaker 2: one hour and twenty two minutes.
- 44:33Speaker 3: And I know what happened. I couldn't get back to
- 44:35Speaker 3: the had a sore throat and I was looking for
- 44:37Speaker 3: the doctor and I couldn't get back to from the zoo.
- 44:39Speaker 3: Remember when we went to the.
- 44:40Speaker 2: I remember, get back to the pan. I remember it.
- 44:43Speaker 2: I also remember the bangs and the powder in the rage.
- 44:46Speaker 3: The other age, the rage, a lot of age, a
- 44:49Speaker 3: lot of age. Yeah, you probably would have thrown me
- 44:51Speaker 3: into the whatever river?
- 44:53Speaker 2: Was that a river it was? But then Tamra says
- 44:58Speaker 2: a quote that I actually want on my tom stone,
- 45:00Speaker 2: which is Teddy could ruin a wet dream.
- 45:02Speaker 3: I you know what that was. I love you? But
- 45:07Speaker 3: she may be right, yeah, because you you can't.
- 45:10Speaker 2: I really think like there was a point where I
- 45:12Speaker 2: was like, is she being shady? And then I was
- 45:13Speaker 2: like no, no, I really fucking could.
- 45:16Speaker 3: There's part of your personality that's just way too dry.
- 45:19Speaker 3: Yeah that you just kind of say it how it is,
- 45:21Speaker 3: and it's like, come on, man, we're trying to have
- 45:23Speaker 3: fun and sometimes you give it to us a little
- 45:25Speaker 3: too straight.
- 45:26Speaker 2: Yeah, but I was like Tombstone nineteen eighty one, Unknown
- 45:33Speaker 2: could ruin a wet dream. Tammy so like, I feel
- 45:37Speaker 2: like I'm fine with you.
- 45:38Speaker 3: You're not. You don't say that, Erica. How would you
- 45:42Speaker 3: have reacted if you were in Tamor's situation and Teddy
- 45:44Speaker 3: pushed you in the pool? Bitch you'd come, I'd have
- 45:46Speaker 3: gotten out of that pool. There is you back in
- 45:49Speaker 3: with me.
- 45:50Speaker 2: There's no way you wouldn't have ripped my head from
- 45:52Speaker 2: the side.
- 45:53Speaker 3: I help me the moment. I would have held on
- 45:56Speaker 3: to you as hard as I could and like and
- 45:58Speaker 3: if I got out, I would have been like chasing
- 46:00Speaker 3: you around to three back in.
- 46:01Speaker 2: The pool, I mean and plus ones. We talk about
- 46:03Speaker 2: the weather conditions.
- 46:06Speaker 3: What time of the year was that? Was it winter?
- 46:08Speaker 2: Fucking freezing time?
- 46:09Speaker 3: I remember one time it was like a couple of
- 46:11Speaker 3: years ago. We filmed Crystal's birthday party at Yamashira. They
- 46:15Speaker 3: never showed it. It was that night that La had
- 46:17Speaker 3: that cold torn.
- 46:18Speaker 2: Now they asked me to go. I said no, but
- 46:20Speaker 2: a bunch of my girlfriends went.
- 46:22Speaker 3: When I tell you. I was so rained out and
- 46:23Speaker 3: I got a chest and cold and probably COVID after that.
- 46:26Speaker 2: Yeah, when you are freezing. But I don't know that
- 46:31Speaker 2: I would have pushed. If I was going to push
- 46:32Speaker 2: somebody in the pool, Oh please, it would not have
- 46:36Speaker 2: been you.
- 46:37Speaker 3: No, you had a line, You had a line. I
- 46:39Speaker 3: had a me. No, like a couple of people ahead.
- 46:42Speaker 2: Listen, like if I was going to be really mad
- 46:44Speaker 2: and push somebody in a fucking pool. But also that's
- 46:47Speaker 2: a difference. Oh see, I mean whether they're getting glammed
- 46:50Speaker 2: or not getting glammed.
- 46:51Speaker 3: You could push one of them in the pool and
- 46:53Speaker 3: be okay.
- 46:53Speaker 2: You could be okay. But I it's like I see
- 46:56Speaker 2: the glam and the wigs and everything that goes into
- 46:58Speaker 2: Beverly Hills and I'm like, back, it cost me, no,
- 47:03Speaker 2: but here's it.
- 47:04Speaker 1: No.
- 47:04Speaker 3: But I would be more worried about somebody not taking
- 47:07Speaker 3: it the way it should be taking. Which is funny. Like,
- 47:10Speaker 3: you know, people, I can't believe that bitch relaxed.
- 47:13Speaker 2: Well, all the people except for Tamara were pissed about
- 47:18Speaker 2: the pool.
- 47:19Speaker 3: Really.
- 47:19Speaker 2: Oh yeah, all them were like can you believe she
- 47:21Speaker 2: did that?
- 47:22Speaker 3: Was like it's probably great.
- 47:23Speaker 2: Tama was like, I mean, Tama came out looking like
- 47:26Speaker 2: a sperm and she.
- 47:29Speaker 3: Was.
- 47:29Speaker 2: It was not the moment, but we had fun for
- 47:32Speaker 2: two hours after. It's like you know when you wrap
- 47:34Speaker 2: and you take your mics off, and she was like,
- 47:36Speaker 2: well you ended the fucking night and it was great
- 47:38Speaker 2: and blah blah blah great and.
- 47:40Speaker 3: It was a great job. And the way that she
- 47:41Speaker 3: you know, she's cool like that, she gets it.
- 47:44Speaker 2: She gets it. But I did think this was a
- 47:46Speaker 2: good episode all around. And I don't know if it
- 47:49Speaker 2: is it because Alexis wasn't in it.
- 47:53Speaker 3: Oh you look at you. I don't know. I like
- 47:57Speaker 3: this cast though. I like this cast. I think they
- 47:59Speaker 3: have good synergy. The Alexis thing for me is just
- 48:04Speaker 3: there to annoy Shannon and there to draw, you know, criticism.
- 48:10Speaker 2: Yeah, if you're going to do something else, I'm happy
- 48:12Speaker 2: to have you there.
- 48:13Speaker 3: Yeah. I don't know. I mean, do they make her
- 48:15Speaker 3: a full time housewife next year?
- 48:19Speaker 2: Do they? And then what demote Shannon? No, you can't
- 48:23Speaker 2: demote Shannon, right because I think that Shannon, whether she's
- 48:27Speaker 2: blowing into a DUI thing in her car, like she
- 48:31Speaker 2: there's moments of likability even the conversation. Did you want
- 48:36Speaker 2: to see the trace amigas get back together after their conversation?
- 48:39Speaker 3: No?
- 48:40Speaker 2: Yeah, me NEI there, No, But then I thought maybe
- 48:43Speaker 2: I was being biased.
- 48:44Speaker 3: No, I think sometimes, look, things run their course. Haven't
- 48:49Speaker 3: they been together for like over a decade? Yeah, Okay,
- 48:52Speaker 3: things run the course and people move on. People change.
- 48:56Speaker 3: So if your heart's not in iteople have moved on.
- 49:00Speaker 2: No, yeah, I agree. Uh so next week I think
- 49:06Speaker 2: we go to Sonoma. Oh my gosh, we go to Sonoma,
- 49:10Speaker 2: which I which I've heard is a little bit dicey.
- 49:14Speaker 3: So oh, yeah, you've heard.
- 49:17Speaker 2: I've heard. I've heard. I just have like some mutual
- 49:19Speaker 2: friends that are close to the show. Sure, but I've
- 49:23Speaker 2: heard it's very dicey and things start to shift. I'm curious,
- 49:28Speaker 2: that's the thing. You know, how many times that you've
- 49:31Speaker 2: thought that things were going to shift for you and
- 49:33Speaker 2: then they never do. Yeah, I'm curious if we're going
- 49:37Speaker 2: to actually see the shift that we're hearing so much about.
- 49:41Speaker 2: Hum hm, So stay tuned, guys.
- 49:45Speaker 3: Someone else told me something? What Oh it gets real
- 49:48Speaker 3: good later?
- 49:51Speaker 2: Is it somebody that I know? For fuck's sake, Erica,
- 49:55Speaker 2: I don't make me push you into my pool well
- 49:59Speaker 2: up in and you know, but you get I don't
- 50:00Speaker 2: care if I'm gonna make you go into the cold plunge.
- 50:03Speaker 3: You know what I do want to get in your
- 50:04Speaker 3: cold plunch. But yes, I heard, I heard it gets
- 50:06Speaker 3: real good.
- 50:06Speaker 2: So how long do we have to wait?
- 50:09Speaker 3: A couple of mom did a little bit lun down
- 50:10Speaker 3: the line. I heard it gets good, and this is
- 50:13Speaker 3: from somebody that you would never think of. But that
- 50:15Speaker 3: was there.
- 50:16Speaker 2: I was all right, Well, thank you guys for tuning
- 50:20Speaker 2: in to another episode of to Teas and a Pod.
- 50:22Speaker 2: We appreciate you, guys, and I appreciate you Erica for
- 50:25Speaker 2: being here. Thank you so much, and keep bringing it, ladies.
- 50:29Speaker 2: You're doing the best that we could imagine.
- 50:32Speaker 3: I'm having fun. Thank you Teddy for having me. This
- 50:34Speaker 3: was a good time. Thank you.
