- 0:00Speaker 1: Scrubbing In with Beca Tilly and Tanya rad and iHeartRadio
- 0:04Speaker 1: and two time People's Choice Award winning podcast. Hello everybody,
- 0:12Speaker 1: we are.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Scrubbing it in what Well, I'm just kind of on
- 0:16Speaker 2: a time crunch and you just were sitting there thinking
- 0:19Speaker 2: about what you were going to say?
- 0:20Speaker 3: Is that I'm not sitting here thinking where.
- 0:22Speaker 1: We are doing the podcast in a different room, and
- 0:24Speaker 1: so we don't get to hear the playback of our jingles.
- 0:27Speaker 1: Don't trying to time it out.
- 0:28Speaker 3: You don't have to time it out. I have to
- 0:33Speaker 3: get a character.
- 0:33Speaker 1: I hear it and then give my hello. I have
- 0:36Speaker 1: to greet everybody after I hear my jingle.
- 0:37Speaker 4: Whow that's beautiful.
- 0:40Speaker 3: So sorry, no, no, no, how's it going?
- 0:42Speaker 4: Oh?
- 0:42Speaker 1: Wow?
- 0:46Speaker 4: It's Thursday?
- 0:47Speaker 1: It is Thursday. You know what day it is?
- 0:49Speaker 4: Thursday?
- 0:50Speaker 1: I know what day of the December is it? It's
- 0:52Speaker 1: December fourth? Yeah, that's right. And I want to show
- 0:57Speaker 1: you this December marriage challenge I found online.
- 1:01Speaker 4: What is that?
- 1:02Speaker 2: Good?
- 1:02Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 1:03Speaker 4: Oh my gosh. It's very full.
- 1:04Speaker 1: It's very full. It's every day basically thirty days of
- 1:08Speaker 1: connecting intentionally with your partner.
- 1:10Speaker 4: HM. Where'd you find that on.
- 1:12Speaker 1: Instagram and I was scrolling and I like screenshot it.
- 1:14Speaker 1: I sent it to Robbie said, we're doing this in December.
- 1:16Speaker 1: Who and but it's cute. It's like one of them said.
- 1:19Speaker 1: The first one was say one thing you admire about
- 1:22Speaker 1: your spouse and why you know, like they're cute little things.
- 1:24Speaker 1: It's not like anything.
- 1:25Speaker 3: Little prompts.
- 1:26Speaker 1: Little prompts like do a ten minute no phones check
- 1:28Speaker 1: in tonight, you know, like so cute. Our our thing
- 1:32Speaker 1: for Fridays, play game together love. Yeah, we love playing games.
- 1:36Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:36Speaker 1: Yeah, So every day of the month of December, we
- 1:39Speaker 1: have a little challenge to strengthen our marriage. Wow, it's
- 1:42Speaker 1: beautiful when you're in.
- 1:43Speaker 3: Haley would love that. That to me.
- 1:45Speaker 2: Okay, i'llso be like Merry Christmas. Yeah, we're doing a
- 1:50Speaker 2: December challenge.
- 1:51Speaker 1: There's a couple a doctor up change a couple of
- 1:53Speaker 1: them because they're not so much of us. But yeah, yeah,
- 1:56Speaker 1: I'll make them little.
- 1:57Speaker 2: Maybe you're oh, yeah, it didn't need to know that,
- 2:00Speaker 2: But you could just challenge yourself to do something that's
- 2:04Speaker 2: not you, you know what I'm saying.
- 2:06Speaker 1: M hm.
- 2:07Speaker 2: Maybe that's what the challenge actually is. Since you love
- 2:09Speaker 2: playing games and that's not a challenge. Maybe the ones
- 2:11Speaker 2: that don't feel like you could be part of.
- 2:14Speaker 4: The challenge aspect, we'll see.
- 2:16Speaker 2: That's like me, Haley every day recap. What's something that
- 2:20Speaker 2: I did that made you feel loved?
- 2:23Speaker 1: Yes?
- 2:23Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, so she may have written that challenge actually, Like.
- 2:29Speaker 1: Why I not thought about this? Like this is something
- 2:32Speaker 1: really good for January. Maybe I'll make one for January. Yeah,
- 2:35Speaker 1: with like like this fresh start five start start the
- 2:38Speaker 1: new year, and maybe not like partner Vibe, but like
- 2:41Speaker 1: self vibe. You know, I've hope people would love that. Yeah,
- 2:44Speaker 1: maybe I'll do that.
- 2:45Speaker 2: Yeahs for free and then sell the PDPs for free
- 2:51Speaker 2: and then sell it to the masses. Yeah yeah, yeah.
- 2:55Speaker 2: Robbie is filling in for me next week.
- 2:57Speaker 4: Is he feeling excited? Uh?
- 3:01Speaker 1: Yeah, I think he gets like excited and nervous.
- 3:03Speaker 2: Oh really, yeah, I don't even I don't picture Robbie
- 3:07Speaker 2: getting nervous.
- 3:08Speaker 1: It's not nervous because, like it's funny, just because I
- 3:11Speaker 1: spend so much time with him, I can tell he's
- 3:12Speaker 1: like a little bit different when he's like on the air,
- 3:16Speaker 1: like he's himself, but I can tell like he's like
- 3:18Speaker 1: a little bit it's not natural, you know what I mean.
- 3:21Speaker 2: I think that's most people. Like I think we've been
- 3:23Speaker 2: doing this for so long and it's just me and
- 3:25Speaker 2: you and we just forget the thing is here. But
- 3:28Speaker 2: I think for most people it's a little out of
- 3:33Speaker 2: the ordinary. Like you literally do this every single day
- 3:37Speaker 2: on the radio and then every single week on the podcast. Yeah,
- 3:40Speaker 2: and then you think of someone like Robbie who's sitting
- 3:43Speaker 2: in an office his computer, phone calls all day and
- 3:46Speaker 2: then sitting down and talking about his line.
- 3:49Speaker 3: Kind of weird. It's so weird.
- 3:51Speaker 1: But yeah, I'm excited. I'm excited to have him. Okay, great, Yeah,
- 3:55Speaker 1: if not you who oh he yeah, it's not you heat.
- 4:02Speaker 2: Yeah, We're We're going to Japan, and I'm so excited.
- 4:06Speaker 2: But I'm also very like my vibe when I travel,
- 4:09Speaker 2: I'm very much the go.
- 4:11Speaker 4: With the flow person and not the plan I booked.
- 4:15Speaker 2: And like, the reality is that a lot of the
- 4:18Speaker 2: things in Japan you do need to book, and so
- 4:22Speaker 2: it's not as good with the flow as I would
- 4:24Speaker 2: like as I can be. And so we've had to
- 4:28Speaker 2: have some conversations about her being like I need some
- 4:30Speaker 2: help because I know that I'm the leader and like
- 4:35Speaker 2: plan things. But I just need some help because we're
- 4:37Speaker 2: gonna be gone. We're going to a lot of places,
- 4:39Speaker 2: so I just you know, make some reservations and stuff.
- 4:43Speaker 3: So can you help me basically?
- 4:47Speaker 2: And I'm just chat GPT like a maniac.
- 4:51Speaker 3: I'm sending PDFs.
- 4:53Speaker 2: Asking it to create PDFs for me so it looks official.
- 4:58Speaker 4: I'm like making a tinerary. It is quite amazing.
- 5:01Speaker 1: Chatgyb T yeah yeah, and like add some doodles on
- 5:05Speaker 1: the PDIA.
- 5:09Speaker 3: Yeah, I really asked me.
- 5:10Speaker 2: You know what's sad is like I remember when I
- 5:13Speaker 2: had micro like a big old computer, and you know,
- 5:17Speaker 2: if someone was on the Wi Fi on the phone
- 5:19Speaker 2: and I couldn't get on the Internet and I had
- 5:21Speaker 2: to just keep myself entertained on the computer, I'd be creating,
- 5:24Speaker 2: like drawing on my Do you remember the thing where
- 5:26Speaker 2: you would draw on I think it was called.
- 5:28Speaker 1: Paint Yeah yeah, yeah yeah, paint paint.
- 5:31Speaker 2: And then you could if there was like one line,
- 5:34Speaker 2: one little space missing, you tried to fill it in
- 5:36Speaker 2: and fill in the whole thing.
- 5:37Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 5:37Speaker 4: Anyways, I don't have that anymore.
- 5:41Speaker 2: That creativity chatte is yapped up.
- 5:44Speaker 1: Did you chat chubt for my wedding speech.
- 5:47Speaker 3: No zero zero.
- 5:49Speaker 2: I didn't start using chat jupt till, like I would say,
- 5:52Speaker 2: around September of this year.
- 5:56Speaker 3: Well, I was like anti and everyone was like, don't
- 5:58Speaker 3: do it. It's bad for the environment. And I was like,
- 6:00Speaker 3: you'll hold me back.
- 6:01Speaker 1: Yeah, sabotage the whole world, new world out.
- 6:04Speaker 3: There's a whole new world of brilliance.
- 6:06Speaker 2: You know. You have to go in and you just
- 6:08Speaker 2: need to go in and erase the long dashes and yeah,
- 6:12Speaker 2: tweak some things to make.
- 6:13Speaker 4: It look official and original.
- 6:15Speaker 1: So how many days are you guys gone?
- 6:17Speaker 3: How dare you ask? If I use that for your speech?
- 6:20Speaker 3: My speech was it was very heartfelt.
- 6:23Speaker 1: So that's why I was like wondering if you used it?
- 6:25Speaker 1: It did a really good job.
- 6:27Speaker 4: No, I didn't. I didn't, did Paulina?
- 6:30Speaker 1: I don't know about an asker. I'm gonna ask her
- 6:34Speaker 1: what was your question? How many days are you guys
- 6:35Speaker 1: gonna be gone?
- 6:37Speaker 2: So I leave, I have a work trip before and
- 6:40Speaker 2: then I'm meeting her.
- 6:41Speaker 4: And Marla there.
- 6:42Speaker 2: Oh what yeah, it's crazy. So I leave tomorrow. I
- 6:47Speaker 2: mean sorry, I leave, I'm already gone.
- 6:51Speaker 3: I do be gone. I have left.
- 6:58Speaker 2: I have been gone since Tuesday, okay, and then it
- 7:00Speaker 2: comes back when Monday the fifteenth.
- 7:04Speaker 5: Wow, like two weeks? Yes, crazy?
- 7:07Speaker 3: What I know?
- 7:09Speaker 1: Nice?
- 7:09Speaker 5: What You're gonna be gone for a fortnight? Two weeks?
- 7:12Speaker 4: That's what a fortnight?
- 7:14Speaker 1: Fourteen days?
- 7:17Speaker 3: That's what Tailor's talking about about?
- 7:19Speaker 4: Fourteen days?
- 7:21Speaker 1: What have you just founding that? Yeah?
- 7:23Speaker 4: I don't know. Fortnite was a video game I did too, actually.
- 7:27Speaker 5: For a long time, spelled differently it is.
- 7:29Speaker 2: Yes, Oh my gosh, learning so much today.
- 7:35Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 7:35Speaker 4: So I'm gonna be gone for a while.
- 7:37Speaker 1: And out of the two weeks, beat you all the
- 7:39Speaker 1: two weeks that you're gone. Do you have plans every
- 7:43Speaker 1: single day on my vacation?
- 7:46Speaker 2: Uh?
- 7:46Speaker 3: Huh yeah?
- 7:47Speaker 1: Nice.
- 7:47Speaker 3: Yeah, we'll be doing things.
- 7:50Speaker 2: But you know, Hayley's very much like, we can go here,
- 7:52Speaker 2: we can go here. And I'm like, are we including
- 7:55Speaker 2: jet lag on this itinerary?
- 7:58Speaker 4: Yeah, because I remember.
- 8:01Speaker 2: Last time we went, which was like twenty nineteen, right
- 8:03Speaker 2: before the pandemic. We went to Japan and I was
- 8:09Speaker 2: fine for I would say four days, and then I
- 8:11Speaker 2: felt like the fifth day or something like way later
- 8:14Speaker 2: than I anticipated, the jet hit and we were at
- 8:18Speaker 2: a like very traditional Japanese hotel where you put you
- 8:23Speaker 2: can wear your like kimonos that they give you to
- 8:26Speaker 2: go to dinner at the in the dining area. And
- 8:29Speaker 2: I was so angry about having to get up and
- 8:32Speaker 2: go eat dinner because I just wanted to sleep. But
- 8:34Speaker 2: it was it was so traditional that if you didn't eat,
- 8:37Speaker 2: there wasn't like room service or anything. So if you
- 8:39Speaker 2: didn't eat the dinner that was served, you didn't eat right.
- 8:43Speaker 4: And Haley was like, you have to, like you're.
- 8:46Speaker 2: And so she got all dressed up in her kimono
- 8:49Speaker 2: and I just went down in my like sweatshirt, all grumpy. Oh,
- 8:53Speaker 2: and it was like the sixth day, I think. So
- 8:56Speaker 2: I'm anticipating that, you know.
- 8:58Speaker 1: I do think it's interesting because I feel like the
- 9:00Speaker 1: way you vacation is says a lot. And I really
- 9:04Speaker 1: feel like I met my match with like how I
- 9:06Speaker 1: like to vacation because Robin and I really like to
- 9:09Speaker 1: do it the same. Yeah, and that's very refreshing.
- 9:12Speaker 3: Yeah, Haley and I.
- 9:15Speaker 2: The thing is once we get to where we're going,
- 9:17Speaker 2: because she she's very much like I want to see things,
- 9:20Speaker 2: I want to do things, And I'm really grateful for
- 9:23Speaker 2: that because if if she wasn't like that, I would lay, yeah,
- 9:26Speaker 2: and I'd miss the vacation because I'd be laying.
- 9:29Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 9:29Speaker 5: It was like.
- 9:31Speaker 2: I love laying, but why lay in Japan when I
- 9:33Speaker 2: could lay at home? You know, right, So I'm grateful
- 9:37Speaker 2: for our differences in that. But also I think I
- 9:41Speaker 2: because I love to lay, it makes her feel like
- 9:44Speaker 2: she can relax too, So if we need a day
- 9:46Speaker 2: of lay, we could just do it.
- 9:50Speaker 3: Like I told her, I go, Here's the thing.
- 9:52Speaker 2: I think we should have ideas of things we want
- 9:54Speaker 2: to do and plans, but if we wake up and
- 9:56Speaker 2: we're exhausted or jet lagged, that we don't feel like
- 9:58Speaker 2: we have to go do.
- 10:00Speaker 4: Them right, we can lay, rest and relax.
- 10:06Speaker 3: And lay down.
- 10:09Speaker 1: It's just so funny because like I honestly, I don't
- 10:12Speaker 1: think I've laid as much as I laid this weekend
- 10:14Speaker 1: this whole year. Like the fact that you lay that
- 10:17Speaker 1: much is like so.
- 10:19Speaker 3: Like it's very bad for my back.
- 10:21Speaker 1: Yes, it is very bad for your back, but like
- 10:24Speaker 1: that's why people usually go on vacation so that they
- 10:26Speaker 1: can lay, because they can't lay when they're at home.
- 10:29Speaker 2: Right, I have a I'm very privileged with my life schedule,
- 10:33Speaker 2: I can lay a lot.
- 10:34Speaker 4: And I love to go.
- 10:36Speaker 2: Like that's why I love Easton and Allison and how
- 10:39Speaker 2: y'all travel. I just love how y'all live because I
- 10:41Speaker 2: feel so inspired by the just go go go of
- 10:45Speaker 2: it all, and like, I don't care if we're tired,
- 10:48Speaker 2: We're gonna go see these things because we're here for
- 10:50Speaker 2: twenty four hours and we're gonna see everything we can
- 10:53Speaker 2: fit in because I don't have that.
- 10:55Speaker 5: When we when we were on our honeymoon, we were
- 10:58Speaker 5: there at for a fortnite.
- 10:58Speaker 6: We were in Hawaii, and we we did two weeks
- 11:02Speaker 6: and why and we would there was like multiple days
- 11:04Speaker 6: where we would walk to the breakfast area, eat breakfast,
- 11:07Speaker 6: and then walk to a beach chair and sit there
- 11:09Speaker 6: and then sit there for like ten hours.
- 11:12Speaker 3: That's so it was the best.
- 11:14Speaker 6: And it's very unlike us to just sit in one
- 11:16Speaker 6: spot on vacation, but we did that a lot on
- 11:18Speaker 6: our honeymoon.
- 11:19Speaker 1: Was I love that.
- 11:20Speaker 5: It's the best.
- 11:21Speaker 4: Did you all lay over the holiday break?
- 11:23Speaker 5: We sure did, Oh you did.
- 11:25Speaker 6: We went and we were at my mom's house for
- 11:27Speaker 6: a whole week, but we did a lot of laying
- 11:29Speaker 6: there she was very excited to show me the CMA Awards.
- 11:33Speaker 6: My mom she wanted she wanted my take on Luke
- 11:36Speaker 6: Combe's performance.
- 11:38Speaker 4: So, wow, what did you think?
- 11:39Speaker 6: I thought it was great, played with Big X the plug,
- 11:41Speaker 6: it was awesome, and yeah, we played around. Watched the
- 11:44Speaker 6: Thanksgiving Day parade on YouTube later in the day.
- 11:49Speaker 5: And it was it was the best. We had a
- 11:50Speaker 5: great time.
- 11:51Speaker 2: Well, I think people obviously people know that you're busy,
- 11:54Speaker 2: but I don't think people realize how like insane your
- 11:57Speaker 2: schedule is. So I'm, for one, I'm grateful that you
- 12:01Speaker 2: get time to do nothing and watch a Thanksgiving pretty late.
- 12:04Speaker 5: Thank you, thank you.
- 12:05Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 12:06Speaker 5: I came off. I had really like hectic months. Oh
- 12:10Speaker 5: my god. I took a day a couple weeks ago,
- 12:12Speaker 5: a Sunday and just laid.
- 12:14Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 12:14Speaker 5: I bought I bought a set.
- 12:15Speaker 6: I bought a Boy's Life set and I bore the
- 12:19Speaker 6: set in my house and it felt great, And I
- 12:20Speaker 6: was like, now I get it.
- 12:22Speaker 5: I get the lay.
- 12:23Speaker 1: I really get it, like I really genuinely do. And
- 12:25Speaker 1: like December is gonna be so hectic. I'd be like, really, what,
- 12:29Speaker 1: oh it is the first two months because you're like
- 12:31Speaker 1: doing all the Christmas stuff and like everybody has their
- 12:33Speaker 1: holiday parties and like your schedule gets like booked. Yeah,
- 12:38Speaker 1: but there's gonna be a week period where I have
- 12:41Speaker 1: a couple of days to lay. Yeah, and you better believe.
- 12:45Speaker 3: Yeah lay I will.
- 12:46Speaker 1: I'd recommend I want to put clothes on. That's how
- 12:49Speaker 1: much I just want to lay.
- 12:50Speaker 2: Wow, sheesh, I haven't even reached that level of Yeah.
- 12:54Speaker 2: But I do recommend getting up and doing some stretches
- 12:58Speaker 2: a point careen there, Yeah, to engage your core because
- 13:01Speaker 2: when you're.
- 13:02Speaker 1: I know, I should do my back strengthening exercises.
- 13:05Speaker 2: Yes, put your orthotics one and dear back strengthen the exercise.
- 13:11Speaker 3: So don't worry, guys, we're not eight yet.
- 13:15Speaker 1: Somebody asked me to link my herthotics the other day
- 13:17Speaker 1: and I was like, that's where I am in life.
- 13:22Speaker 3: Shot my shot my orthon Like, honestly, I wish I
- 13:28Speaker 3: had a link.
- 13:28Speaker 1: I don't even know.
- 13:29Speaker 2: Wait, this is this is not funny. But we do
- 13:31Speaker 2: have a scrubber who wrote in how do I tell
- 13:33Speaker 2: my boyfriend to stop being lazy?
- 13:37Speaker 7: You come back and repeat, Okay, we'll be right back,
- 13:57Speaker 7: all right, So at a lease at least I love
- 14:01Speaker 7: this name.
- 14:01Speaker 2: It's spelled ad E l i Z, which is so pretty.
- 14:06Speaker 2: Hi Beck at Tanya Mark in easton day one scrubber
- 14:09Speaker 2: and still love the pod just as much. This is
- 14:11Speaker 2: my first time writing in I finally had something bothering
- 14:13Speaker 2: me enough. I stay with my boyfriend most of the week.
- 14:16Speaker 2: He's a pilot, and I bartend at events when he's away.
- 14:20Speaker 2: I actually like using the time to clean, partly for
- 14:22Speaker 2: my own sanity and partly to do something nice for him.
- 14:25Speaker 2: But as he's gotten more comfortable, he's gotten so messy
- 14:28Speaker 2: and it's driving me insane. He leaves dirty clothes on
- 14:31Speaker 2: the floor or toss over his gaming chair. He leaves
- 14:34Speaker 2: dishes in the sink overnight after I just did all
- 14:36Speaker 2: the dishes and ran the dishwasher. And sometimes he even
- 14:39Speaker 2: forgets to flush the toilet.
- 14:40Speaker 1: Oh my god, that is so gross.
- 14:43Speaker 2: If I do his laundry and fold everything, he'll let
- 14:45Speaker 2: it sit for days before putting it away. I have
- 14:47Speaker 2: no idea how to bring this up without sounding like
- 14:49Speaker 2: I'm nagging or being a total B word.
- 14:55Speaker 3: Peep.
- 14:56Speaker 2: How do I tell him he needs to stop being
- 14:57Speaker 2: lazy and clean up after himself. Help?
- 15:01Speaker 4: This will drive me insane.
- 15:02Speaker 1: This will drive me like insane.
- 15:05Speaker 2: I'm messy and I have my piles, but like in
- 15:08Speaker 2: terms of just daily chores and laundry and stuff like
- 15:11Speaker 2: that is just the signs of a adult.
- 15:15Speaker 1: Yeah. And I also feel like you should just tell
- 15:17Speaker 1: him who cares if you sound like you're nagging. I
- 15:19Speaker 1: do this all the time.
- 15:21Speaker 2: Well, I think there's a way of just making it
- 15:24Speaker 2: about feeling like disrespect towards you, because he is disrespecting you, like, yeah,
- 15:30Speaker 2: you're cleaning, and then he's not even having enough respect
- 15:33Speaker 2: for you to clean up after himself or even help you.
- 15:39Speaker 2: So it doesn't even have to be naggy, it's just like, hey,
- 15:42Speaker 2: I sometimes I think the problem is that you almost
- 15:46Speaker 2: probably feel like you're being like a mother to him
- 15:47Speaker 2: cleaning up after him, and you're gonna end up presenting
- 15:50Speaker 2: him and be like so icked out, yeah if you're
- 15:52Speaker 2: not already, And so I think you just need to
- 15:54Speaker 2: make it more about you feeling disrespected and that you
- 15:57Speaker 2: put in the effort and you do these nice things
- 16:00Speaker 2: him and then he turns around and just like either
- 16:03Speaker 2: disregards it or lets it sit and doesn't doesn't contribute.
- 16:06Speaker 1: It sounds like, yeah, it's just also doesn't seem like
- 16:09Speaker 1: he has respect for you, because, like I would say,
- 16:14Speaker 1: I'm way like Robbie's not messy at all. But like I,
- 16:18Speaker 1: if there's like a dish in the sink, I will
- 16:19Speaker 1: wash it and put it in the you know, like
- 16:20Speaker 1: the clean side of the sink, whereas like he would
- 16:23Speaker 1: let him pile up before he does them. But because
- 16:25Speaker 1: I am the way that I am, he doesn't let
- 16:28Speaker 1: the sink get full because he knows it's important. It's
- 16:31Speaker 1: important to me, you know. So it's just kind of
- 16:33Speaker 1: like I feel like it's not even about him being lazy.
- 16:35Speaker 1: I just feel like it doesn't even respect you.
- 16:37Speaker 2: I think you should come out of maybe as like, hey,
- 16:40Speaker 2: we're we're a partnership or a team. And I feel
- 16:43Speaker 2: like I'm carrying a lot of the work of like
- 16:45Speaker 2: the housework, and I love doing it because I have
- 16:47Speaker 2: the time, and I like doing it for you and
- 16:49Speaker 2: keeping our space clean.
- 16:50Speaker 4: But if you could just you.
- 16:51Speaker 3: Know, doilet.
- 16:54Speaker 1: I mean that two seconds.
- 16:56Speaker 2: I am so grossed out for her, but like flush
- 16:59Speaker 2: the toilet or make sure that if I do the
- 17:02Speaker 2: dishes and you eat something that you clean off the
- 17:05Speaker 2: dishes or put it in the dishwasher.
- 17:07Speaker 4: You're not asking a lot.
- 17:08Speaker 3: You're literally asking your clothes and fold them.
- 17:11Speaker 1: Please just put them in their basket or yeah, closet.
- 17:14Speaker 2: I would just approach it not as like you need
- 17:16Speaker 2: to do this, but more is like, hey, it would
- 17:18Speaker 2: it would make me feel really loved and it would
- 17:20Speaker 2: make me feel really respected if you contributed to the
- 17:23Speaker 2: things that I do around the house.
- 17:24Speaker 4: Yeah, but I'm sorry.
- 17:26Speaker 2: That's really rough, tough, yeaf and tough, and he needs
- 17:33Speaker 2: to get it together.
- 17:34Speaker 1: He does.
- 17:34Speaker 2: Flushing the toilet is a privilege. Not everyone has a
- 17:39Speaker 2: flushing toilet.
- 17:40Speaker 5: It's true, It's true.
- 17:42Speaker 4: Okay, this one's fun. You want to read this one?
- 17:45Speaker 1: Aaron shout out to the Facebook group. Hey gang, First,
- 17:49Speaker 1: I just want to say that my four year old
- 17:51Speaker 1: still continues to ask why don't beck On Tanya sings
- 17:53Speaker 1: to grub a dub dub anymore? Oh, Tanya, your jingle
- 17:55Speaker 1: is missed in my household? Thank you erin. Secondly, and
- 17:59Speaker 1: the why I'm writing is I read a Facebook post
- 18:02Speaker 1: in our Facebook group that I think deserves a shout out.
- 18:05Speaker 1: A woman named Daniella checked out of a hotel and
- 18:07Speaker 1: left her crimper there. The hotel wanted to charge her
- 18:10Speaker 1: fifty bucks to ship it back, so she reached out
- 18:12Speaker 1: into the Facebook group to offer the crumper to anyone
- 18:14Speaker 1: local if they wanted to go pick it up. Honestly,
- 18:17Speaker 1: a pretty nice gesture. I would have just said forget
- 18:19Speaker 1: it and not even thought to offer it to someone else,
- 18:22Speaker 1: but let the hotel dispose of it or whatever they
- 18:24Speaker 1: do with forgotten things items. Sorry. But then right away
- 18:28Speaker 1: someone else in the Facebook group named Jen said that
- 18:30Speaker 1: she was local and would pick it up for her
- 18:32Speaker 1: and then pay for the shipping herself to get Danielle
- 18:34Speaker 1: or her crumper back. I know this exchange is so
- 18:37Speaker 1: minor in the grand scheme of life, but these small
- 18:39Speaker 1: acts of kindness make our world such a better place.
- 18:42Speaker 1: And I feel like these ladies deserve a shout out
- 18:44Speaker 1: from you guys. They have inspired me to go out
- 18:46Speaker 1: of my way to do something similar. I hope this
- 18:48Speaker 1: inspires our listeners to do the same. Love you all
- 18:50Speaker 1: and happy holidays. That is so sweet, and you know
- 18:53Speaker 1: what I do feel like sometimes we get in our
- 18:57Speaker 1: own way because, especially during the holidays, you want to
- 18:59Speaker 1: do nice things, and you get so overwhelmed because you're
- 19:01Speaker 1: like everybody needs so much. People need money, people need groceries,
- 19:04Speaker 1: people need so much that you kind of get overwhelmed
- 19:08Speaker 1: and you don't even.
- 19:09Speaker 3: Know where to start.
- 19:09Speaker 1: And it's just like all these little tiny things, like
- 19:13Speaker 1: every little thing makes such a huge impact.
- 19:16Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 19:16Speaker 2: Sometimes when I'm feeling like when I'm doomed scroll too
- 19:19Speaker 2: far and things feel dark, sometimes I just go on
- 19:21Speaker 2: the Facebook group because it's always it's either like lighthearted
- 19:24Speaker 2: and funny, or like outrageous sex questions or just like
- 19:27Speaker 2: really like these moments of nice gestures and.
- 19:29Speaker 4: I'm like, oh, it's such a little.
- 19:31Speaker 2: Like small pocket of like nice joy and kindness. Yeah,
- 19:36Speaker 2: so thank you for sharing that, Jen.
- 19:39Speaker 1: For securing the crimper and sending it back.
- 19:42Speaker 3: We love you.
- 19:44Speaker 4: Yeah, we love you guys. Thanks for being the best,
- 19:47Speaker 4: so warm, so kind, the best.
- 19:51Speaker 3: That's all for now. I I have to head off.
