Latest / V / This Deep State Stooge Can't be FBI Director (Ep.89)
Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Good morning and welcome to Bongino Report Early Edition. The
- 0:03Speaker 1: feds have declared full war on Matt Gaetz. Why Deep
- 0:08Speaker 1: State stooge Mike Rogers should not be FBI director. FEMA
- 0:13Speaker 1: whistleblowers reveal more political targeting against Trump supporters. The Young
- 0:17Speaker 1: Turks jank is turning MAGA. Maybe. The trans-identifying male congressman
- 0:23Speaker 1: is trying to play the victim. Kamala vacations in Hawaii
- 0:27Speaker 1: while America is on the brink of World War III.
- 0:30Speaker 1: And a Georgia mom is arrested and charged for letting
- 0:33Speaker 1: her child walk less than a mile unsupervised.
- 0:36Speaker 2: All this on Bongino.
- 0:38Speaker 1: Report, early edition. Something really strange happened yesterday related to
- 0:56Speaker 1: the Matt Gaetz controversy in the potential release of an
- 1:00Speaker 1: ethics report to derail his confirmation. I'm telling you guys, really,
- 1:04Speaker 1: really strange. The deep state does not want this man confirmed.
- 1:08Speaker 1: But before I get into the specifics of what happened yesterday,
- 1:10Speaker 1: I want to just give you guys a little summary
- 1:13Speaker 1: of why this ethics report on Matt Gaetz, Gaetz's alleged
- 1:17Speaker 1: trafficking of an underage girl, is totally bogus, or at
- 1:21Speaker 1: least all the evidence suggests that it is totally bogus.
- 1:26Speaker 1: The House Ethics Committee's report comes years after the DOJ
- 1:30Speaker 1: dropped its investigation into Matt Gaetz because the case relied
- 1:34Speaker 1: on two witnesses so unreliable that even the DOJ, which is, again,
- 1:39Speaker 1: no fan of Matt Gaetz, knew that no jury would convict.
- 1:42Speaker 1: The first witness, Joel Greenberg. has been dubbed one of
- 1:46Speaker 1: Florida's most corrupt politicians. And this guy actually has a
- 1:50Speaker 1: history of fabricating vile lies, including actually accusing a political
- 1:55Speaker 1: rival of his of sex crimes, which a judge later
- 1:58Speaker 1: called downright evil. So he's already accused somebody falsely of
- 2:04Speaker 1: sex crimes and actually been found guilty of it. Greenberg
- 2:10Speaker 1: faced 27 years in prison for a slew of crimes,
- 2:13Speaker 1: including having sex with the same 17-year-old, supposed 17-year-old, at
- 2:18Speaker 1: the center of the Matt Gaetz allegations. And the woman,
- 2:22Speaker 1: by the way, is now an OnlyFans and adult films creator.
- 2:25Speaker 1: She's an online prostitute. Now, Greenberg begged Gaetz for a pardon,
- 2:31Speaker 1: but Gaetz refused. This is at the time of his charges,
- 2:34Speaker 1: his 27 potential years sentence.
- 2:37Speaker 2: And when Gaetz refused, Greenberg swore revenge.
- 2:42Speaker 1: And a cellmate of Greenberg actually testified against that Greenberg
- 2:46Speaker 1: had schemed to have the woman support his lies about
- 2:50Speaker 1: Gates for potential financial gain. And Greenberg even verified, we
- 2:55Speaker 1: know that he even verifiably paid this woman's legal bills.
- 3:00Speaker 1: So there's no evidence that Matt Gates knowingly had any
- 3:02Speaker 1: involvement with the woman, this underage, supposed underage woman when
- 3:06Speaker 1: she was not over 18. And ultimately, the DOJ knew
- 3:11Speaker 1: that their witnesses were so unreliable that none of this
- 3:14Speaker 1: would hold up in court. Now for the sketchy news
- 3:18Speaker 1: from yesterday. You guys have a little rundown of what's
- 3:21Speaker 1: going on. It's a complicated story, very strange. The New
- 3:25Speaker 1: York Times reported yesterday that an unidentified hacker had gained
- 3:31Speaker 1: access to a computer file shared in a secure link
- 3:35Speaker 1: among lawyers whose clients have given damaging testimony related to
- 3:39Speaker 1: Matt Gaetz. And the file is said to include sworn
- 3:41Speaker 1: testimony by Gaetz's accuser who said that she had sex
- 3:45Speaker 1: with Gaetz when she was 17, as well as corroborating
- 3:48Speaker 1: testimony by a second woman who said that she witnessed
- 3:51Speaker 1: this encounter.
- 3:53Speaker 2: I want you guys to drop a comment.
- 3:55Speaker 1: Do you guys think that this is just some anonymous
- 3:58Speaker 1: citizen hacker, just a random, a do-gooder who said, I'm
- 4:02Speaker 1: going to expose Matt Gaetz because I'm completely unrelated to
- 4:06Speaker 1: anybody in US intelligence whatsoever. This is textbook deep state behavior.
- 4:13Speaker 1: I'm just going to say that. There's no chance that
- 4:16Speaker 1: these are just random citizens. This is just a random
- 4:19Speaker 1: citizen hacker. This is the permanent state doing everything possible
- 4:23Speaker 1: to prevent Matt Gaetz's confirmation because they're afraid. And it's
- 4:27Speaker 1: a perfect example of if they wanted to, they would
- 4:31Speaker 1: as well. Ian Carroll tweeted yesterday, they have, Oh, some,
- 4:36Speaker 1: somebody's all knows.
- 4:37Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 4:38Speaker 4: I agree.
- 4:38Speaker 1: Chat. You got, you guys know what's, you guys know
- 4:40Speaker 1: what's up. And this, and this is what's great about
- 4:43Speaker 1: living in the era that we do. I think even,
- 4:47Speaker 1: you know, five, no, maybe not five, 10 years ago,
- 4:51Speaker 1: we would have heard this story and thought maybe they're
- 4:54Speaker 1: just anonymous hackers who are regular citizens and not involved
- 4:57Speaker 1: with us intelligence whatsoever. Maybe now nobody believes that now the, the, uh,
- 5:04Speaker 1: We are fully aware. Now we are awake. So Ian
- 5:09Speaker 1: Carroll tweeted yesterday. He said they have, quote, anonymous hackers
- 5:13Speaker 1: cracking the Gates case wide open in days. But five
- 5:16Speaker 1: years later and not a single Epstein client or conspirator
- 5:20Speaker 1: has been charged when they have all the tapes.
- 5:23Speaker 2: There's a reason why.
- 5:25Speaker 1: The DOJ went after Trump loyalist Matt Gaetz with this
- 5:29Speaker 1: bogus investigation in the first place. There's a reason they're
- 5:32Speaker 1: doing it now. There's a reason they're trying to expose
- 5:35Speaker 1: him now. Matt Gaetz, like Trump himself, is an uncontrolled
- 5:38Speaker 1: figure who isn't afraid to go after the state. And
- 5:41Speaker 1: the state's main objective in all of this is self-preservation.
- 5:44Speaker 1: It's never about justice. If it were interested in justice,
- 5:48Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein would be alive and his co-conspirators would also
- 5:51Speaker 1: be in prison.
- 5:53Speaker 2: You want to know how.
- 5:54Speaker 1: Slimy these people are? Yesterday, the Heritage Foundation's oversight project
- 5:58Speaker 1: reported that a paper shredding truck, yes, a paper shredding
- 6:02Speaker 1: truck arrived at the DOJ.
- 6:06Speaker 2: They're destroying evidence. We all know what's happening. The state doesn't.
- 6:10Speaker 1: Want Matt Gaetz or Tulsi or anyone in this new
- 6:13Speaker 1: admin to uncover the truth of their political targeting. There
- 6:17Speaker 1: are legal surveillance, election interference, suppression of whistleblowers, black budget activities,
- 6:22Speaker 1: blackmailing of prominent figures. And it's all going to come
- 6:26Speaker 1: to light if Matt Gaetz is actually confirmed. So they
- 6:32Speaker 1: are trying to take this man down to save their
- 6:35Speaker 1: own asses. I'm telling you guys, this story, it was textbook.
- 6:40Speaker 1: And it was very, very disturbing.
- 6:43Speaker 2: Frankly, it was.
- 6:43Speaker 1: Disturbing to me that in the New York Times article,
- 6:46Speaker 1: Nobody even made that suggestion. There was no inquiry into
- 6:50Speaker 1: who these anonymous hackers actually are other than just anonymous hackers.
- 6:55Speaker 1: We're going to take a quick break, but when we
- 6:57Speaker 1: come back, I have some really essential information for you
- 7:00Speaker 1: all that we need to be discussing about Trump's new
- 7:04Speaker 1: potential FBI director pick.
- 7:07Speaker 2: Don't go anywhere.
- 7:08Speaker 1: As always, shout out to our sponsors. They keep this
- 7:11Speaker 1: show free. You know that the advertisers are set up
- 7:14Speaker 1: to destroy alternative media, specifically right-wing media. So always appreciative
- 7:21Speaker 1: of anyone who works with us and who supports this show. Now,
- 7:26Speaker 1: for all the reasons that we need Matt Gaetz as
- 7:28Speaker 1: attorney general, we need Kash Patel as FBI director, not
- 7:32Speaker 1: former congressman and FBI agent Mike Rogers.
- 7:37Speaker 2: And I'm going to lay out exactly why.
- 7:39Speaker 1: But first, I just want to show you guys a
- 7:41Speaker 1: clip of former CIA director Michael Hayden saying that he's
- 7:45Speaker 1: considering putting deep state surveillance whistleblower Edward Snowden on a
- 7:51Speaker 1: kill list, to which then FBI agent Mike Rogers, former
- 7:56Speaker 1: FBI agent Mike Rogers, says this.
- 8:00Speaker 3: Lots of things to comment on. Let me talk about
- 8:02Speaker 3: the European award and his nomination. I must have made
- 8:06Speaker 3: him my darker moments over the past several months. I
- 8:10Speaker 3: had also thought of nominating Mr. Snowden, but it was
- 8:12Speaker 3: for a different list, okay?
- 8:19Speaker 5: I can help you with that. Oh, there's cameras here, too.
- 8:26Speaker 6: I forgot about that.
- 8:31Speaker 1: That was Mike Rogers saying, I can help you with that.
- 8:34Speaker 2: And they all just laugh. Oh, it's so funny. It's
- 8:37Speaker 2: not funny. It's not funny at all. It's scary.
- 8:42Speaker 1: And what's even scarier to me is that they would
- 8:45Speaker 1: laugh about something as serious as that, because you know
- 8:49Speaker 1: that they just are completely above the law. They know
- 8:54Speaker 1: that no matter what they suggest or say or do,
- 8:56Speaker 1: there will be no consequences. These are the people that
- 9:00Speaker 1: we're dealing with. That is who Mike Rogers is. Sean
- 9:04Speaker 1: Fleetwood wrote an excellent article in The Federalist titled, Americans
- 9:09Speaker 1: Can't Trust Mike Rogers to Give the FBI the Reckoning
- 9:12Speaker 1: It Needs.
- 9:13Speaker 2: And I totally agree. This piece is wonderful.
- 9:16Speaker 1: It details how Rogers assisted in writing and voted for
- 9:20Speaker 1: the infamous Patriot Act, which of course empowered the federal
- 9:23Speaker 1: government to conduct warrantless surveillance against normal American citizens. And
- 9:27Speaker 1: then in 2005, NPR interviewed then-Congressman Rogers, and Rogers stated that, quote,
- 9:33Speaker 1: no due process is subjugated in the Patriot Act, not
- 9:36Speaker 1: one iota. And he said this in defense of the
- 9:40Speaker 1: Patriot Act, not as an indictment on it. Rogers also
- 9:43Speaker 1: has a history of defending federal phone and internet surveillance programs,
- 9:47Speaker 1: and he has lobbied for a long-term extension of the Patriot.
- 9:51Speaker 2: Act in 2011.
- 9:52Speaker 1: Now, Rogers' wife, Christy Rogers, worked at a military contracting
- 9:58Speaker 1: firm during Rogers' time. leading the House Intelligence Committee. So
- 10:04Speaker 1: she's working for a military contracting firm while her husband
- 10:09Speaker 1: is leading the House Intelligence Committee. Right off the bat, chat,
- 10:14Speaker 1: you guys know, that seems like a little bit of
- 10:16Speaker 1: a conflict of interest, wouldn't you say?
- 10:18Speaker 2: I'd say yes.
- 10:19Speaker 1: A little bit of a conflict. Michael says, it's like
- 10:24Speaker 1: me saying your show is good.
- 10:25Speaker 2: He has to.
- 10:26Speaker 1: He has to love the show. He has to be
- 10:27Speaker 1: a Duffy Division fan. Now, Judicial Watch's Micah Morrison wrote
- 10:34Speaker 1: a report on Christie's job and said that, quote, the
- 10:39Speaker 1: outlines of the story are more suggestive of right doings.
- 10:43Speaker 1: Washington style, an insider's game of covert operations and corporate
- 10:48Speaker 1: profits played out in the gray areas of law and policy.
- 10:52Speaker 1: In other words, this is dirty Washington tricks and money-making
- 10:55Speaker 1: schemes from, again, people who are just sort of above
- 10:58Speaker 1: the law, who act within the system to really abuse
- 11:05Speaker 1: the system. As Sean Fleetwood puts it, Rogers is a
- 11:09Speaker 1: typical D.C. institutionalist who has spent his entire political career
- 11:14Speaker 1: funding and safeguarding the very agencies being weaponized to target citizens.
- 11:19Speaker 1: His priority has never been, nor will be, the interests
- 11:24Speaker 1: of everyday Americans who continue to suffer as a result
- 11:27Speaker 1: of his disastrous decision-making. We do not want Mike Rogers.
- 11:33Speaker 1: This is who we want in charge of the FBI.
- 11:37Speaker 6: The FBI's footprint has gotten so freaking big. And the
- 11:40Speaker 6: biggest problem the FBI has had has come out of
- 11:42Speaker 6: its Intel shops. I'd break that component out of it.
- 11:45Speaker 6: I'd shut down the FBI Hoover building on day one
- 11:48Speaker 6: and reopening the next day as a museum of the
- 11:50Speaker 6: deep state. And I'd take the 7,000 employees that work
- 11:53Speaker 6: in that building and send them across America to chase
- 11:55Speaker 6: down criminals.
- 11:56Speaker 4: Go be cops.
- 11:57Speaker 6: You're cops. Go be cops. Go chase down murderers and
- 12:00Speaker 6: drug dealers and violent offenders. What do you need 7,000
- 12:02Speaker 6: people there for? Same thing with DOJ. What are all
- 12:05Speaker 6: these people doing here? Looking for their next government promotion,
- 12:08Speaker 6: looking for their next fancy government title, looking for their
- 12:10Speaker 6: parachute out of government. So while you're bringing in the
- 12:12Speaker 6: right people, you also have to shrink government.
- 12:16Speaker 1: And some people are saying, you know, abolish the FBI,
- 12:18Speaker 1: abolish the FBI.
- 12:19Speaker 2: Totally get that. Totally agree with that. That's the idea.
- 12:21Speaker 1: If we're not going to abolish the FBI, though, that
- 12:23Speaker 1: seems like a great alternative. Kash Patel would be excellent
- 12:26Speaker 1: in that position. By the way, if you're listening, I'm
- 12:28Speaker 1: sorry I didn't say it. You just listen to Kash Patel,
- 12:30Speaker 1: who is another person being considered for FBI director, and
- 12:33Speaker 1: he is really the only good option here. He's the
- 12:38Speaker 1: only one that can handle this very sprawling, very corrupted agency.
- 12:43Speaker 2: And I've been saying this over and over again. Trump
- 12:45Speaker 2: listens to us.
- 12:46Speaker 1: Advocate to Trump on your socials for Kash Patel. Kat
- 12:51Speaker 1: Turd was tweeting yesterday, hashtag only Patel. That's a really
- 12:55Speaker 1: good place to start.
- 12:57Speaker 2: We don't need.
- 12:58Speaker 1: corrupt Mike Rogers in charge of one of the most
- 13:02Speaker 1: corrupt and abusive agencies. That is a recipe for disaster.
- 13:06Speaker 1: It's a recipe for the status quo. And we don't
- 13:09Speaker 1: need that right now. That's not what this new administration
- 13:11Speaker 1: is about. This is about change. This is about rooting
- 13:14Speaker 1: out waste and corruption and empowering the people again. Speaking
- 13:20Speaker 1: of government corruption, James Comer revealed yesterday that his staff
- 13:24Speaker 1: made contact with a new whistleblower who who provided a
- 13:27Speaker 1: credible account that a FEMA contractor visited the home of
- 13:31Speaker 1: an elderly disabled veteran's family around October 10th. And while there,
- 13:36Speaker 1: the female contractor recommended that this Florida family remove Trump
- 13:40Speaker 1: campaign materials and signs from their house and yard, stating
- 13:44Speaker 1: that his FEMA supervisors view Trump supporters as domestic terrorists. Now,
- 13:51Speaker 1: the elderly homeowners were so frightened by this and afraid
- 13:55Speaker 1: that they would not recover their loss, so they did
- 13:57Speaker 1: remove the signs, yet nevertheless, FEMA did not return to
- 14:02Speaker 1: their residence. So FEMA, a FEMA employee goes to their house, says, hey,
- 14:09Speaker 1: I had to remove these Trump signs because my higher-ups,
- 14:12Speaker 1: we view Trump supporters as domestic terrorists. And of course,
- 14:16Speaker 1: that the frightened family did just that, they removed the signs.
- 14:20Speaker 1: It's unbelievable, unreal, such a great example of the politicization
- 14:28Speaker 1: of our entire federal government. Here is, and this is
- 14:32Speaker 1: what really gets me because it's a lack of accountability
- 14:35Speaker 1: once these people are exposed that really enrages me. Here
- 14:39Speaker 1: is FEMA Director Deanne Criswell explaining that actually misinformation, not
- 14:47Speaker 1: political targeting, is the real problem here, take a listen.
- 14:51Speaker 7: We have seen over my last few years in this position,
- 14:54Speaker 7: but even as my time as a local emergency manager,
- 14:57Speaker 7: we have seen the amount of information being spread that's
- 15:00Speaker 7: just inaccurate about FEMA programs, about FEMA policies continue to increase.
- 15:05Speaker 7: We saw a big jump during Maui, we saw an
- 15:07Speaker 7: even larger increase, and again on a scale that I
- 15:10Speaker 7: have not seen during hurricanes Helene and Milton, primarily being
- 15:13Speaker 7: spread through social media channels.
- 15:17Speaker 8: And have you undertaken any efforts to combat that disinformation?
- 15:21Speaker 7: So we do a number of things. We have an
- 15:23Speaker 7: entire team of public affairs and external affairs experts that
- 15:28Speaker 7: help us try to put positive information, correct information out.
- 15:32Speaker 7: We establish a page. It's a standing practice for us
- 15:35Speaker 7: to establish a rumor control page that we have done
- 15:38Speaker 7: for many years through many administrations to put accurate information
- 15:42Speaker 7: about the programs that FEMA is offering and the assistance
- 15:45Speaker 7: that is available.
- 15:47Speaker 1: So instead of acknowledging all of the egregious delays from
- 15:52Speaker 1: FEMA in the wake of these two hurricanes, Criswell blames misinformation.
- 15:57Speaker 1: Instead of acknowledging and addressing alleged and confirmed reports that
- 16:01Speaker 1: FEMA was discriminating against right-wing hurricane victims, Criswell blames misinformation.
- 16:07Speaker 1: It's no wonder people don't trust you guys. But then
- 16:11Speaker 1: they say, oh no, it's the public and too much
- 16:14Speaker 1: free speech online. That's the real problem here. To me,
- 16:17Speaker 1: this is just a sign that there needs to be
- 16:18Speaker 1: more severe. There needs to actually just be severe. There's
- 16:21Speaker 1: not just more because there are none. There needs to
- 16:23Speaker 1: be severe consequences for illegal behavior in Washington. Because like
- 16:28Speaker 1: I said, there is none right now. It's another reason
- 16:31Speaker 1: that we need Matt Gaetz. If this lady was actually
- 16:33Speaker 1: afraid that FEMA higher-ups labeling Trump supporters terrorists and instructing
- 16:39Speaker 1: workers to avoid helping Trump supporters would lead to criminal prosecution,
- 16:43Speaker 1: this woman would not be talking about misinformation.
- 16:46Speaker 7: She wouldn't.
- 16:47Speaker 2: She wouldn't be.
- 16:50Speaker 1: Just smearing the First Amendment as some sort of defense.
- 16:54Speaker 1: She would be doing everything she could to rectify the situation.
- 16:59Speaker 1: Blaming misinformation is what authoritarians do. People who do not
- 17:04Speaker 1: fear the law and who believe they can and should
- 17:07Speaker 1: control the minds of the populace, those people blame misinformation.
- 17:11Speaker 1: Not public servants genuinely accountable to the American people. And
- 17:15Speaker 1: this woman clearly views herself as above all accountability. All right,
- 17:22Speaker 1: switching gears here. We discussed yesterday how Cenk from the
- 17:26Speaker 1: Young Turks podcast reached out publicly on X to Elon Musk,
- 17:31Speaker 1: asking if he could help cut military waste. And Cenk
- 17:37Speaker 1: actually gave a great suggestion after Elon Musk said, okay,
- 17:40Speaker 1: any ideas?
- 17:41Speaker 2: I'm open to hearing.
- 17:42Speaker 1: He said that generals should not be allowed to get
- 17:45Speaker 1: a job with defense contractors for 10 years. Maybe even
- 17:49Speaker 1: if you're on the House Intelligence Committee, your wife shouldn't
- 17:52Speaker 1: have a job with defense contractors as well. We could
- 17:54Speaker 1: add that to the list, but I digress. These generals
- 17:58Speaker 1: do authorize a ton of waste because they are going
- 18:02Speaker 1: to get hired by those same defense contracting companies the
- 18:05Speaker 1: second that they retire. So I thought that was a
- 18:07Speaker 1: great suggestion from Cenk. Here was Cenk yesterday discussing this exchange.
- 18:13Speaker 1: He said, I asked at Elon Musk to put me
- 18:16Speaker 1: in charge of cutting the Pentagon. And he said, what
- 18:18Speaker 1: are your suggestions? I run the largest left-wing network online,
- 18:22Speaker 1: and a Democrat leader has never asked me that question.
- 18:26Speaker 1: The idea that they would take advice from a populist
- 18:29Speaker 1: is disdainful to them. Now, Cenk, of course, like he said,
- 18:33Speaker 1: he identifies as a populist leftist. He's highly critical of
- 18:36Speaker 1: corporate power and the influence of big business on our government.
- 18:43Speaker 1: And he's critical of his own party, for abandoning their
- 18:47Speaker 1: principles and the working class at large. Here is Cenk
- 18:51Speaker 1: on Piers Morgan in just an incredible exchange with Professor
- 18:56Speaker 1: Alan Lichtman. And Lichtman is a very famous guy, widely
- 19:03Speaker 1: known for his keys to the White House election prediction model.
- 19:08Speaker 1: And of course, this model utterly failed this time around
- 19:12Speaker 1: with President Trump and Kamala Harris. And I think this
- 19:15Speaker 1: is an excellent snapshot, this exchange between Allen and Cenk.
- 19:20Speaker 1: It's an excellent snapshot of the struggle currently taking place
- 19:24Speaker 1: in the Democratic Party.
- 19:25Speaker 2: So it's a little bit longer. It's very entertaining.
- 19:28Speaker 1: Take a listen.
- 19:29Speaker 5: Don't blame the voters. I think, look, we could get
- 19:32Speaker 5: into this discussion. But one, I think you're blaming the voters.
- 19:34Speaker 5: I think that's a terrible idea. And look, I debated
- 19:38Speaker 5: Professor Lichtman before. I told him his theories about the
- 19:42Speaker 5: keys were absurd. I was right, he was wrong.
- 19:44Speaker 4: I said he'd lose his keys. No, you were not right,
- 19:47Speaker 4: and I was not wrong. And that's a cheap shot,
- 19:49Speaker 4: and I won't... stand for it. Well, who won, brother?
- 19:51Speaker 4: You should not be taking cheap shots at me.
- 19:53Speaker 9: Who won?
- 19:54Speaker 4: You live in a total world of denial. I read
- 19:58Speaker 4: your own.
- 19:59Speaker 10: followers, comments, and they all trashed you, every one of them,
- 20:03Speaker 10: and supported me.
- 20:04Speaker 4: So quiet with your personal attacks. Come find out again.
- 20:07Speaker 4: Make whatever point you want, but make it personal. You
- 20:09Speaker 4: don't know anything. You don't know anything. You attacked me personally.
- 20:14Speaker 4: You're so deluded. I've only been a professor for 51 years.
- 20:18Speaker 4: On this program, I've never been able to finish a thought.
- 20:20Speaker 10: How many books have you published? No, because you're personally
- 20:24Speaker 10: attacking me again.
- 20:25Speaker 4: Say whatever you want, but I'm not going to stand
- 20:27Speaker 4: for personal attacks. Okay, but brother, you got it wrong.
- 20:29Speaker 4: Say whatever you want. You were preposterously and stupidly wrong.
- 20:33Speaker 5: So, okay, all right, can I just finish a goddamn
- 20:35Speaker 5: thought ever on this show?
- 20:37Speaker 10: No, not if you're personally attacking me. I admitted I
- 20:39Speaker 10: was wrong. I don't need you to call me stupid.
- 20:42Speaker 4: Okay. Can I just say it's great to see you
- 20:44Speaker 4: Democrats all getting along so well. Who taught you manners?
- 20:48Speaker 4: It's lovely to see you post something like that in
- 20:49Speaker 4: harmony as you come together again.
- 20:51Speaker 8: Hey, Alan, shh.
- 20:54Speaker 5: Hey, Alan, you deserve a tall glass of shut up juice,
- 20:58Speaker 5: so can you just shut up for a second?
- 21:00Speaker 4: And let someone who knows what they're doing possibly attack me.
- 21:04Speaker 4: Make any point you want.
- 21:05Speaker 10: I will not sit here and stand for personal attacks, for.
- 21:09Speaker 4: Blasphemy against me. You don't need to do that. You
- 21:13Speaker 4: don't blasphemy against you?
- 21:14Speaker 9: What the hell are you?
- 21:15Speaker 4: Are you Jesus Christ, you loser?
- 21:17Speaker 5: Okay, can I just give the correct answer for once?
- 21:22Speaker 2: Oh, that was awesome. Michael was pointing out, he's like
- 21:25Speaker 2: a little kid. Alan's just sitting.
- 21:27Speaker 1: There like this. He's so mad about being told.
- 21:31Speaker 2: That he was wrong about this election, and he was wrong.
- 21:35Speaker 1: Cat Turd wrote, Cenk is so close to being MAGA,
- 21:39Speaker 1: which is funny. This is a perfect example of the
- 21:43Speaker 1: struggle that we're seeing on the left right now. You
- 21:45Speaker 1: have the establishment unwilling to to change, unwilling to listen.
- 21:52Speaker 1: And then you have Cenk, who I disagree with on
- 21:55Speaker 1: pretty much everything, but to his credit is actually trying
- 21:58Speaker 1: to self-evaluate here after this election. That's Harry Sisson. I
- 22:05Speaker 1: would be a little more entertained by Harry Sisson if
- 22:07Speaker 1: he wasn't so obnoxious.
- 22:10Speaker 2: It is all of us during the video. Harry Sisson
- 22:12Speaker 2: sucks though.
- 22:12Speaker 1: And he's also somebody who does not believe in any
- 22:14Speaker 1: kind of self-reflection at this time. But the establishment of
- 22:18Speaker 1: this Democratic Party they're not listening. They're digging their heels
- 22:22Speaker 1: in and they are.
- 22:25Speaker 2: Pushing people like Cenk to take a chance on Trump.
- 22:27Speaker 2: He's asking to join the Trump admin. He's asking to
- 22:30Speaker 2: join Doge. That's crazy.
- 22:33Speaker 1: That's crazy unprecedented. It's a never before seen coalition that
- 22:40Speaker 1: Trump is creating. And it kind of, I think, transcends
- 22:44Speaker 1: party lines. It is a movement that is at its
- 22:48Speaker 1: heart rooted in combating the corruption and the waste in
- 22:54Speaker 1: our government. And a lot of these social issues, we're
- 22:57Speaker 1: just saying, okay, they're important, but at the center of
- 23:01Speaker 1: this admin, at the center of this movement is the
- 23:04Speaker 1: deep state, because it's the most important thing at this time.
- 23:06Speaker 1: We can't talk about anything else. We can't have any
- 23:08Speaker 1: other conversations until we get back to the vision that
- 23:12Speaker 1: our founding fathers had for this country. We have departed
- 23:15Speaker 1: from it so greatly that we're pretty much unrecognizable. And
- 23:20Speaker 1: that's why you're seeing people like Cenk, who I don't
- 23:23Speaker 1: agree with on anything, but who is a straight shooter.
- 23:26Speaker 2: I think he genuinely believes what he believes.
- 23:28Speaker 1: And he really wants to root out this corruption as well.
- 23:30Speaker 1: This should be a bipartisan issue. And you're seeing it
- 23:33Speaker 1: become that way, at least among alternative media, while the
- 23:37Speaker 1: establishment types are continuing to dig their heels in. Now,
- 23:41Speaker 1: not only is MAGA anti-corruption, it's also the only party
- 23:46Speaker 1: who can, I think, take a joke anymore. Here's Republican
- 23:49Speaker 1: Senator Steve Daines yesterday in one of the funniest soundbites
- 23:54Speaker 1: I've ever seen from a member of Congress.
- 23:56Speaker 4: Hi, I'm Steve Daines.
- 23:57Speaker 2: My pronouns are Republican majority.
- 24:01Speaker 11: I have a simple message for Chuck Schumer and for
- 24:06Speaker 11: Bob Casey.
- 24:07Speaker 4: It's over.
- 24:11Speaker 1: The world is healing. The Republican Party is getting braver.
- 24:15Speaker 1: We're laughing at the left's lunacy. And it's not just
- 24:20Speaker 1: some anon posting a meme online. This is a senator
- 24:25Speaker 1: making fun of the gender insanity that just a couple
- 24:29Speaker 1: of years ago, nobody would dare touch.
- 24:31Speaker 2: It's huge. Again, like I said, the world is healing.
- 24:35Speaker 2: And to that point, Representative.
- 24:36Speaker 1: Nancy Mace has been very brave introducing a bill that
- 24:39Speaker 1: would prevent men from using women's bathrooms in the Capitol
- 24:43Speaker 1: in response to a new transgender-identifying male representative-elect, Sarah McBride,
- 24:48Speaker 1: coming to Congress. And I want to go through somebody
- 24:52Speaker 1: who has not been quite so brave, Mike Johnson, Speaker
- 24:55Speaker 1: Mike Johnson. This is his response to being asked whether
- 25:00Speaker 1: Sarah McBride is a male or a female. Take a listen. Mr.
- 25:05Speaker 6: Speaker, is freshman elect Sarah.
- 25:08Speaker 3: McBride a man or a woman?
- 25:11Speaker 12: Look, I'm not going to get into this. We welcome
- 25:13Speaker 12: all new members with open arms who are duly elected
- 25:17Speaker 12: representatives of the people. I believe it's a command that
- 25:22Speaker 12: we treat all persons with dignity and respect, and we will.
- 25:26Speaker 12: And I'm not going to engage in silly debates about this.
- 25:29Speaker 12: There's a concern about the uses of restroom facilities and
- 25:32Speaker 12: locker rooms and all that. This is an issue that
- 25:34Speaker 12: Congress has never Okay, so he didn't answer the question.
- 25:37Speaker 12: He didn't answer whether this man is a man or
- 25:41Speaker 12: a woman.
- 25:54Speaker 1: Kind of a cowardly response. Molly Hemingway wrote on X,
- 25:57Speaker 1: this would have been a good opportunity for Johnson to
- 25:59Speaker 1: explain that Sarah McBride is a man who would like
- 26:02Speaker 1: to be treated as a woman. And so there are
- 26:04Speaker 1: concerns about private facilities for women in the Capitol complex.
- 26:08Speaker 1: And after having many responses like Molly Hemingway and much more,
- 26:13Speaker 1: I think, severe critical ones from people like Matt Walsh
- 26:18Speaker 1: and Michael Knowles, Mike Johnson decided to backtrack and actually
- 26:25Speaker 1: stand up for biological reality.
- 26:26Speaker 2: Here is what he said.
- 26:27Speaker 12: Hello, everybody. I just want to make a statement for
- 26:30Speaker 12: all of you here and be very clear. I was
- 26:33Speaker 12: asked a question this morning at the leadership gaggle, and
- 26:35Speaker 12: I rejected the premise because the answer is so obvious.
- 26:40Speaker 12: For anybody who doesn't know my well-established record on this issue,
- 26:43Speaker 12: let me be unequivocally clear. A man is a man,
- 26:47Speaker 12: and a woman is a woman, and a man cannot
- 26:49Speaker 12: become a woman. That said, I also believe, that's what
- 26:54Speaker 12: Scripture teaches, what I just said, but I also believe
- 26:57Speaker 12: that we treat everybody with dignity. And so we can
- 27:01Speaker 12: do and believe all those things at the same time,
- 27:03Speaker 12: and I wanted to make that clear for everybody because
- 27:05Speaker 12: there's lots of questions. But that's where I stand. I've
- 27:07Speaker 12: stood there my whole life, and.
- 27:08Speaker 3: Those are facts.
- 27:10Speaker 9: All right.
- 27:11Speaker 1: I mean, I wish you would have said that initially,
- 27:13Speaker 1: but I appreciate the answer, and that's what public pressure does.
- 27:16Speaker 1: If we hold our leaders accountable, we put an end
- 27:20Speaker 1: to this insanity. We don't allow them to be cowards
- 27:25Speaker 1: because they'll get voted out of office if they do that.
- 27:28Speaker 1: So a great example of what public pressure can do,
- 27:33Speaker 1: the power of it. And meanwhile, Nancy Mace has been
- 27:36Speaker 1: incredibly strong through this entire process. Here she is sparring
- 27:40Speaker 1: with an ABC reporter.
- 27:42Speaker 11: The question is, with your piece of legislation about banning
- 27:46Speaker 11: women from using.
- 27:47Speaker 2: 100%, yes.
- 27:48Speaker 4: My question to you is.
- 27:49Speaker 2: It doesn't go far enough.
- 27:50Speaker 5: I'll be filing more bills.
- 27:51Speaker 11: You have said that it was created in response to
- 27:54Speaker 11: Congresswoman-elect McBride.
- 27:55Speaker 2: Absolutely, 100%.
- 27:56Speaker 11: But should legislation be created targeted at one specific person?
- 28:00Speaker 9: It doesn't mention anyone in the legislation, but I'm not.
- 28:02Speaker 11: But you've said it was aimed at her.
- 28:04Speaker 9: No, I have said it's a result of this. I'm
- 28:06Speaker 9: not going to allow biological men into women's private spaces.
- 28:09Speaker 9: I will stand in the brink and stand in the
- 28:11Speaker 9: way of anyone on the radical left who thinks that
- 28:13Speaker 9: it's okay for a penis to be in a women's
- 28:15Speaker 9: locker room or a bathroom or a changing room. Hell no.
- 28:19Speaker 9: I am not going to stand for it. And the
- 28:21Speaker 9: Speaker said it would be in the House rules package.
- 28:22Speaker 9: If it's not, I'll be ready with a privilege motion
- 28:26Speaker 9: to force a vote on this. This is not okay.
- 28:28Speaker 9: I'm a survivor of rape. I'm a survivor of sexual abuse.
- 28:31Speaker 9: And I'm not going to allow any man in any
- 28:34Speaker 9: female private space. End of story. And by the way,
- 28:37Speaker 9: I'm getting death threats from men pretending to be women.
- 28:40Speaker 9: Why is it that these crazy people, the insanity, the
- 28:44Speaker 9: radical left, are willing to kill women over a man's
- 28:48Speaker 9: right to be in a women's restroom?
- 28:50Speaker 11: Speaker Johnson has said he wants to treat every new
- 28:52Speaker 11: member with the words dignity and respect. forcing this congressperson
- 28:56Speaker 11: to go into a male restroom.
- 28:58Speaker 4: Is that dignity and respect?
- 28:59Speaker 9: Forcing women to share private spaces with men is not
- 29:03Speaker 9: dignity and not respect. I'm absolutely going to stand in
- 29:06Speaker 9: the way of anyone who thinks it's okay for a
- 29:08Speaker 9: man to be in our locker room, in our changing rooms,
- 29:11Speaker 9: in our dressing rooms, in women's bathrooms. And in fact,
- 29:14Speaker 9: if you agree with that, you're crazy because.
- 29:16Speaker 2: That's not okay. It's not okay.
- 29:20Speaker 1: Really impressed with Nancy Mace and the way that she
- 29:24Speaker 1: is taking on the press, that she is taking on
- 29:27Speaker 1: the Democratic Party. And she shouldn't be doing this alone.
- 29:29Speaker 1: Every GOP member should be joining her in this fight.
- 29:32Speaker 1: This should be a united front standing with Nancy Mace.
- 29:37Speaker 1: I wish that they would all join.
- 29:40Speaker 7: Her.
- 29:41Speaker 1: Meanwhile, Sarah McBride, I believe this man's actual name is Tim,
- 29:46Speaker 1: but he's legally changed it to Sarah. This man is
- 29:49Speaker 1: attempting to play the victim throughout all this. And he
- 29:52Speaker 1: wrote on X, Every day Americans go to work with
- 29:55Speaker 1: people who have life journeys different than their own. engage
- 29:59Speaker 1: with them respectfully. I hope members of Congress can muster
- 30:02Speaker 1: that same kindness. No, Sarah or Tim, you are not
- 30:07Speaker 1: engaging respectfully yourself. This is a man forcibly trying to
- 30:11Speaker 1: enter women's spaces via emotional blackmail. And that is exactly
- 30:15Speaker 1: what Nancy Mace articulated. And we cannot let these individuals, again,
- 30:22Speaker 1: emotionally blackmail the public into doing things that are wrong,
- 30:26Speaker 1: into denying biological reality, into putting women in vulnerable situations.
- 30:32Speaker 2: No, that's not respectful. That doesn't uphold human dignity. And
- 30:37Speaker 2: here's the thing.
- 30:38Speaker 1: This is a losing issue for Democrats. Why do you
- 30:40Speaker 1: think AOC took the pronouns out of her bio? The
- 30:43Speaker 1: trans agenda is not a winning issue.
- 30:46Speaker 13: Per the Neapolitan Institute, 72% of voters think that it
- 30:52Speaker 13: should be illegal to provide children under 18 with puberty blockers, drugs,
- 30:57Speaker 13: and or surgery to.
- 30:58Speaker 2: Help them transition.
- 31:00Speaker 1: And only 19% of voters think changing gender identity should
- 31:04Speaker 1: be taught in schools. Only 18% of voters think kids
- 31:07Speaker 1: should be given puberty blockers who are going to transition.
- 31:11Speaker 1: Only 13% of voters want boys competing in girls' sports. Yeah,
- 31:18Speaker 1: so 18% of voters are crazy. 13% of voters crazy
- 31:22Speaker 1: when it comes to the sports issue. But again, I mean,
- 31:26Speaker 1: you're always going to have crazy people. The vast majority
- 31:29Speaker 1: of Americans are not supportive of this. But Democrats are
- 31:32Speaker 1: doubling down on these bad ideas. The Rolling Stone ran
- 31:35Speaker 1: an article this week titled, We Need to.
- 31:41Speaker 2: Talk More About Trans People, Not Less.
- 31:44Speaker 1: And the piece reads that in the wake of the election,
- 31:48Speaker 1: some have said that Democrats need to talk less about
- 31:50Speaker 1: transgender people.
- 31:51Speaker 2: That's exactly wrong.
- 31:53Speaker 1: They and we need to talk more, more about real
- 31:55Speaker 1: trans lives, real science, and real values, and less about
- 31:58Speaker 1: disinformation and lies. And this gets to what we were
- 32:01Speaker 1: discussing with Cenk.
- 32:02Speaker 4: I think.
- 32:03Speaker 1: We can't wave, you can't wave the pride flag while
- 32:07Speaker 1: representing Wall Street and big government and expect people to
- 32:10Speaker 1: vote for you. In fact, the trans issue only adds
- 32:13Speaker 1: to the alienation many voters feel from the democratic establishment.
- 32:16Speaker 1: Trans identity only really is fully embraced by celebrities like
- 32:21Speaker 1: Angelina Jolie and Busy Phillips, whose children have fallen.
- 32:23Speaker 2: Victim to it.
- 32:25Speaker 1: But the reality is that the vast majority of Americans
- 32:27Speaker 1: find the transiting of children and the invasion of women's
- 32:29Speaker 1: spaces by men to be disordered and wrong. It is
- 32:33Speaker 1: neither a motivating nor a unifying issue for the Democratic electorate.
- 32:39Speaker 1: But by all means, liberals, listen to the Rolling Stone,
- 32:41Speaker 1: carry on with your self-destruction.
- 32:43Speaker 2: It's better for us.
- 32:45Speaker 1: All right, I have a little update for you all
- 32:47Speaker 1: on our girl, Kamala Harris. This woman, Kamala, blew through
- 32:53Speaker 1: nearly $ 2 billion, spiraled the Democratic Party into an existential crisis,
- 32:58Speaker 1: and now she's fled to Hawaii for a two-week vacation.
- 33:01Speaker 1: And what's really funny is that Kamala made all these
- 33:03Speaker 1: promises to the voters, right? Just elect me and I'll
- 33:06Speaker 1: do all of this, enact all this change. It'll be
- 33:08Speaker 1: like a utopia America. And now we're on the brink
- 33:11Speaker 1: of World War III. And Ukraine has launched long-range.
- 33:15Speaker 2: Missiles into Russia.
- 33:16Speaker 1: And Kamala is just jet-setting off to Hawaii. She really
- 33:19Speaker 1: cares so much about the American people. You can see
- 33:21Speaker 1: the love for America in the eyes of this woman
- 33:23Speaker 1: who's on.
- 33:23Speaker 2: Vacation in Hawaii. What a joke of a candidate she was.
- 33:27Speaker 1: And I hope the Democrats despise her just as much
- 33:29Speaker 1: as I do, because she truly is a symbol of
- 33:32Speaker 1: the left's downfall. All right, this next and last story
- 33:37Speaker 1: is absolutely crazy to me. Police in Georgia recently arrested
- 33:42Speaker 1: a mother because her 10-year-old son decided to take a
- 33:46Speaker 1: walk of less than a mile into town. While the mother,
- 33:50Speaker 1: Brittany Patterson, was driving another child to the doctor, her son, Soren,
- 33:54Speaker 1: went for this walk unaccompanied. And when Patterson couldn't locate
- 33:59Speaker 1: her son, she didn't think it was a problem because
- 34:01Speaker 1: he was probably exploring in nearby woods or had gone
- 34:05Speaker 1: to see his grandmother, but the boy was actually walking
- 34:08Speaker 1: from the family's rural home into the village of Mineral Bluff,
- 34:11Speaker 1: which is less than a mile away with a total
- 34:13Speaker 1: population of 307 people, 370 people. So very, very small
- 34:18Speaker 1: little town. Now a random woman stopped Soren on the
- 34:22Speaker 1: side of the road as he was walking to see
- 34:24Speaker 1: if he was lost, but the boy said, no, I'm fine.
- 34:27Speaker 1: But the woman nonetheless called police and a female deputy
- 34:30Speaker 1: sheriff got in contact with Brittany, the mother, to reprimand her.
- 34:35Speaker 1: But Brittany said she wasn't concerned because again, This was
- 34:37Speaker 1: a short walk from her house, and her son knows
- 34:39Speaker 1: how to get home. And then later in the evening,
- 34:42Speaker 1: after this incident, the deputy returned with a colleague, put
- 34:47Speaker 1: Brittany in cuffs, and transported her to a cell where
- 34:50Speaker 1: she was photographed, fingerprinted, and dressed in prison clothing. The
- 34:56Speaker 1: mother said she couldn't comprehend what was going on as
- 35:00Speaker 1: she had done the same thing as her son, had
- 35:04Speaker 1: many times when she was growing up in the same
- 35:06Speaker 1: area and nobody had ever arrested her mother for letting
- 35:09Speaker 1: her walk down the road. Brittany had to pay a
- 35:11Speaker 1: bail bond of $ 500 to get out of jail and
- 35:14Speaker 1: is now charged with reckless conduct, with a reckless conduct count,
- 35:19Speaker 1: which could bring a $ 1, 000 fine and one year imprisonment.
- 35:25Speaker 1: The police have offered to drop charges if Brittany agrees
- 35:28Speaker 1: to work with the Division of Family and Children's Services
- 35:32Speaker 1: to create a quote, safety plan for her son that
- 35:35Speaker 1: would include a GPS tracker on his phone. But Patterson
- 35:38Speaker 1: is saying no, because she doesn't believe she did anything wrong.
- 35:42Speaker 1: And she didn't.
- 35:43Speaker 2: And I got to tell you all, I am.
- 35:44Speaker 1: Perplexed by this expectation that every parent must be a
- 35:49Speaker 1: helicopter parent or they're unfit to be a parent. I'm
- 35:53Speaker 1: the oldest of nine who grew up in the Northwoods
- 35:55Speaker 1: of Wisconsin. You know what my mom would tell me
- 35:58Speaker 1: and my siblings growing up?
- 36:00Speaker 2: Go play outside.
- 36:01Speaker 1: And for hours and hours, without ever coming home, my
- 36:06Speaker 1: siblings and I explored the woods by our house. We
- 36:09Speaker 1: visited neighbors in our rural neighborhood all day. The only
- 36:14Speaker 1: thing we ever really worried about were the bears. And
- 36:18Speaker 1: this freakout got me thinking of that video about Gen
- 36:22Speaker 1: Xers that I love. Mikey, let's play that video.
- 36:24Speaker 14: Gen X folks are the toughest people that currently exist
- 36:29Speaker 14: in our world today. Nobody. catered to us. Nobody gave
- 36:34Speaker 14: a flying flip where we were or what we were doing.
- 36:38Speaker 14: We had to be home when the streetlights came on.
- 36:41Speaker 14: We climbed water towers. We hopped fences we shouldn't have.
- 36:45Speaker 14: We committed crimes and nobody knew.
- 36:48Speaker 1: Now, the video is funny and it somewhat pokes fun
- 36:51Speaker 1: at Gen X, but there's a lot of truth to it.
- 36:53Speaker 1: Gen X was far less supervised than Gen Z and
- 36:56Speaker 1: Gen Alpha and to a.
- 37:01Speaker 2: Gen X grew up tougher.
- 37:03Speaker 1: Now, am I suggesting that if you live in the
- 37:05Speaker 1: south side of Chicago, where there's tons of gun violence,
- 37:09Speaker 1: that you should just let your kids roam the streets unsupervised? No,
- 37:11Speaker 1: context is everything. I grew up in a rural environment.
- 37:15Speaker 1: Brittany and her son live in a rural environment near
- 37:18Speaker 1: a very small town. These are different from major urban centers.
- 37:24Speaker 1: But in today's world, those nuances get lost. And what
- 37:26Speaker 1: we're left with is a culture of relentless helicopter parenting.
- 37:32Speaker 1: There was a time when parents didn't have the ability
- 37:34Speaker 1: to track every move that their kids made via their phones.
- 37:38Speaker 1: And honestly, that was a good thing. Constant overprotection and
- 37:41Speaker 1: scheduling every moment of your child's life is stifling. It
- 37:45Speaker 1: prevents them from developing independence and creativity. Kids need boredom.
- 37:52Speaker 1: Exploration is key to growth. And no, I'm not advocating
- 37:56Speaker 1: for just letting your kids raise themselves, but the pendulum
- 38:00Speaker 1: has swung too far in the other direction. This is
- 38:03Speaker 1: why I'm grateful that I came from a very large family.
- 38:06Speaker 1: My mom simply didn't have the time to track all
- 38:09Speaker 1: of her children's every move or entertain us constantly, and
- 38:12Speaker 1: that was okay.
- 38:13Speaker 2: We played together.
- 38:15Speaker 1: We found ways to entertain ourselves. But not many young
- 38:18Speaker 1: people have that same experience growing up today. Here's Abigail
- 38:22Speaker 1: Schreier explaining to Joe Rogan how this shift to helicopter
- 38:27Speaker 1: parenting has really negatively impacted my generation.
- 38:31Speaker 15: And one of the hardest, most worrisome parts of this
- 38:34Speaker 15: generation is that they have the lowest sense of efficacy.
- 38:39Speaker 15: They report an external locus of control, meaning they don't
- 38:42Speaker 15: think they can improve their lives. See, millennials thought they
- 38:45Speaker 15: could do anything, right? They are the Mark Zuckerberg generation.
- 38:49Speaker 15: And that's why we had so many tech founders in
- 38:51Speaker 15: that generation. We're not seeing that with these young people.
- 38:54Speaker 15: They don't want to be in charge. They're afraid. And
- 38:57Speaker 15: they don't feel up to it. There's a friend of
- 39:01Speaker 15: mine I call every year on her birthday. And she's
- 39:05Speaker 15: a research scientist, cell biologist. And every year she invites
- 39:10Speaker 15: kids to her lab for an internship who are top kids,
- 39:14Speaker 15: pre-med graduates from college before they go on to med school.
- 39:18Speaker 15: And she said to me in the last decade, when
- 39:21Speaker 15: I called her this year for her birthday, she said
- 39:22Speaker 15: to me, I can't believe you're writing about this generation.
- 39:24Speaker 15: They are so different. And I said, tell me why.
- 39:26Speaker 15: She said, I'm seeing the smartest, most prepared kids. and
- 39:30Speaker 15: they're afraid to run their own experiments. They tell me
- 39:33Speaker 15: they're getting ready. They're working on their skills. They're not
- 39:36Speaker 15: yet up to it. And they constantly report to me
- 39:39Speaker 15: about their mental health.
- 39:42Speaker 1: As I watched that, I couldn't help but think, First
- 39:47Speaker 1: of all, it's bad for them as just developed adult
- 39:50Speaker 1: human beings as Abigail was laying out. But I also
- 39:54Speaker 1: thought that isn't Gen Z almost perfectly primed to be
- 39:59Speaker 1: more submissive to an authoritarian government? I think there's a
- 40:02Speaker 1: connection between the normalization of government overreach and the way
- 40:05Speaker 1: that kids are raised today. A few generations ago, the
- 40:08Speaker 1: very concept of disinformation and the government assuming the role
- 40:12Speaker 1: of arbiter of truth would have been laughable. Warrantless surveillance
- 40:16Speaker 1: on Americans? That would be a scandal, not a mundane
- 40:20Speaker 1: part of everyday life. The idea that only establishment-approved experts
- 40:25Speaker 1: can dictate public health policies, run the DOJ, or control
- 40:28Speaker 1: national intelligence would have seemed absurd, especially with the corruption
- 40:33Speaker 1: that we know exists in these centers. If future generations
- 40:38Speaker 1: are going to have a chance at pushing back against
- 40:41Speaker 1: the encroaching threats of administrative overreach and surveillance, helicopter parenting.
- 40:47Speaker 2: Is needs to end.
- 40:49Speaker 1: And that's all I have for you guys today. If

- 41:03Speaker 8: I think a lot of people are underestimating the Trump
- 41:05Speaker 8: effect in this midterm. You've heard it yourself. Act like
- 41:09Speaker 8: I'm on the ballot. Why is he saying that? You
- 41:11Speaker 8: think he doesn't know what he's doing? That is the
- 41:14Speaker 8: X factor. Folks, elections are a math issue.
- 41:18Speaker 9: That is it.
- 41:19Speaker 8: This is not a football game.
- 41:21Speaker 4: If you vote, we will win. It is not complicated.
