- 0:00But I thought, oh, it'd be kind of neat to have a service that would find you the weird
- 0:09kind of vaguely haunted item that you're looking for.
- 0:15So we totally started this with a sense of humor.
- 0:18And I got into these business cards and then he starts giving them out and I was mortified.
- 0:23I was like, stop doing that.
- 0:25It turned serious very quickly.
- 0:28Yeah.
- 0:31Hi, Caitlyn.
- 0:40Hi, Cassie.
- 0:42Hi, creepy people.
- 0:44Hello.
- 0:45If you're new to our creepy corner of the world, this is PNW Haunts and Homicides where we
- 0:50chat about true crime, paranormal, and all things really creepy in the Pacific Northwest.
- 0:59So creepy.
- 1:02Just sometimes it's almost too creepy.
- 1:04You know what I mean?
- 1:05Like, when it's just, you're really, you're on the edge of your seat and then you try
- 1:10to tuck your legs up into the chair and you wish there was more chair and there's,
- 1:16there's just not enough chair for all of the creepy that you're trying to escape.
- 1:21You sound personally affected by this week's episode.
- 1:25I mean, just a little.
- 1:27It's fine.
- 1:28It's fine.
- 1:30Sometimes when our legs aren't too busy trying to shake themselves off of our core, off
- 1:40of our very corpse, we do a terror reading at the end of the episode for deeper insights
- 1:46into our topic.
- 1:48And I think we are going to do that today.
- 1:51Yeah, we did an Oracle card reading.
- 1:53Yeah.
- 1:54Oh, right.
- 1:55Sorry.
- 1:56I think I blacked out for a second.
- 1:57Yeah.
- 1:58It was very positive.
- 1:59Yeah.
- 2:00Stick around for that.
- 2:01Because everything is fine.
- 2:04Keep that positivity in mind as you're going through this episode.
- 2:07Yes.
- 2:08I tried.
- 2:11Well, are you ready to go talk to some creepy-ass dolls?
- 2:14No, actually, and never.
- 2:18So by bad news for you.
- 2:23How did this happen that I was here for this one?
- 2:27But not the...
- 2:29Anyways, they seem like nice people, but...
- 2:34Is there any way that I can sit this one out?
- 2:36No, you've already done it.
- 2:39Shit.
- 2:40Yeah, that's right.
- 2:41At least you don't have to do it again.
- 2:44Be said with a twinkle in her eye until the next interview.
- 2:51Until next time.
- 2:54So today we have some guests that I am super excited to talk to.
- 2:59Not so much Caitlyn, not about our guests themselves, Sara and Brian, but about what they work
- 3:05with.
- 3:06Yeah, they seem lovely.
- 3:08They are lovely.
- 3:09They are from a little place called Unsettling Toy Removal and Rehoming.
- 3:16And wow, I think the name really describes perfectly what you guys do.
- 3:22But let's go a little bit in depth and start by what exactly do you mean by Unsettling?
- 3:28Yeah, the name doesn't leave a whole lot of room for interpretation, doesn't it?
- 3:33Yeah.
- 3:34I think by Unsettling we accept any toy that makes someone uncomfortable for any reason.
- 3:41Yeah, it could be, you know, we get toys that dogs bark at, you know, or whatever.
- 3:50That terrifies someone as a child or that we, some of our toys come with like really horrifying
- 3:57back stories.
- 3:59Things like, I don't know, like really bad luck and illness and deaths and like some of
- 4:04them come with these really dark stories.
- 4:06And some of them are like, oh, I thought this looked creepy when I was seven, you know?
- 4:10Okay.
- 4:12Any of them come with nosebleed stories?
- 4:15Yes, actually, but we don't have that one in the house today, but yes, absolutely.
- 4:20Oh my gosh.
- 4:21Well, I hope it didn't make its way to Caitlyn's house.
- 4:24But I said it's not in my house.
- 4:26Yeah, it could be anyway.
- 4:27Is it in my house?
- 4:29Oh my gosh.
- 4:31Well, so what started this whole thing?
- 4:35What got you guys into this re-homing service?
- 4:39Well, we're both into like horror film and the macabre and we were just kind of sitting
- 4:47around one day and totally Brian's idea.
- 4:50She's going for it now.
- 4:53You're the one who's trying.
- 4:56We thought, oh, we kind of need to like have a service that would find you the weird kind
- 5:02of vaguely haunted item that you're looking for.
- 5:07And he just kind of came up with a rough outline of what that might look like.
- 5:13And it was mostly just us running around from house to house, you know?
- 5:18It's a state sale.
- 5:20Getting local people and friends.
- 5:27And you know, tongue in cheek, you know, like, oh, we're going to take your toy and if it
- 5:30acts up or we'll give it back or we know whatever, you know?
- 5:35And for my 50th birthday, this one Sarah here, she made the business cards the whole thing
- 5:45really.
- 5:46And surprised me with it.
- 5:47So I was running around Portland downtown Portland, and I'll business cards.
- 5:51So we totally started this with a sense of humor.
- 5:54And I got in these business cards and then he starts giving them out and I was mortified.
- 5:59I was like, stop doing that.
- 6:02That is incredible.
- 6:04It turns serious very quickly.
- 6:06Yeah.
- 6:07And we did not expect this to be a business that there was quite such a demand for.
- 6:13Like we started it with a little bit of a sense of humor and then all these boxes started
- 6:17showing up at our house.
- 6:19Like a lot of boxes from all over the world.
- 6:23Yeah.
- 6:24So cool.
- 6:25And also my nightmare.
- 6:27Yeah.
- 6:29Sometimes.
- 6:30It's just, it sounds like a service that Caitlyn would use to get rid of something unsettling
- 6:36and Cassie would use to buy something.
- 6:38Yeah.
- 6:40That happens a lot.
- 6:41Or like someone will adopt something and their roommate will be horrified or like something
- 6:46will come to us because the rest of the family was not being like this item.
- 6:52There's often a lot of dissent within a house.
- 6:55Yeah.
- 6:56It turns it's a perfect business model.
- 6:59You know, some people want the thing and some people want to get rid of the thing and we're
- 7:03just in the middle.
- 7:04Yeah.
- 7:05Yeah.
- 7:06Yeah, you're just the middle man.
- 7:07And you do accept returns if something is too unsettling.
- 7:13Sometimes they'll act up, you know, and start running around and we'll gladly take it back.
- 7:20Yeah.
- 7:21We can quite a few people who are like, this is, I thought this was wonderful and I love
- 7:28this toy and I feel a connection to it.
- 7:30However the rest of my family has to come back immediately.
- 7:33Oh my gosh.
- 7:34Well, sometimes I feel like they're, if they're getting re-homed, they've just been uprooted
- 7:41and things are changing.
- 7:42So maybe they just need a little while to settle down into the home.
- 7:45They need a little time to love.
- 7:47Yeah.
- 7:48Yeah, a little time in love.
- 7:50But yeah, we have re-re-homed a couple.
- 7:54Well, and there's been a couple instances though.
- 7:57Now that we've been doing this for quite a few years where people have adopted one and
- 8:01kept it in their home and loved it until it wasn't a good fit for them anymore.
- 8:05Like, one person had a baby and was like, I love this toy but it can't be in the house with
- 8:10my baby anymore.
- 8:11And then they sent it back to us to find them a new home, which is neat.
- 8:15We've had that happen a few times where the toy is beloved and was a good fit and is
- 8:20there for years and then comes back.
- 8:23I love that.
- 8:24And then they know it's going somewhere where someone is going to love it too and it's
- 8:28not just going in the garbage.
- 8:30Yeah.
- 8:31That's I think that's the main thing.
- 8:33A lot of these have stories and maybe somebody can enjoy it and have a new story with some of
- 8:43these objects.
- 8:44I think Sara's.
- 8:45What's happening?
- 8:46And then sometimes we get stuff like this.
- 8:49Oh my gosh.
- 8:50I love that.
- 8:51The eyeballs move.
- 8:53She has adorable little lips.
- 8:55Look at that.
- 8:56Yeah.
- 8:57That's really what I was focused on.
- 8:59Yeah.
- 9:01Sometimes sometimes they just look creepy.
- 9:03Yeah, sometimes they just look creepy, Caitlyn.
- 9:06It's not all about the looks.
- 9:08Okay.
- 9:09Actually, like what are the scariest ones we've ever had was like the most benign looking
- 9:15new-ish doll.
- 9:16It was happening again.
- 9:20What are these weird, I don't know.
- 9:24Riverside get your shit together.
- 9:27You've never, but we have never had that.
- 9:31What fits?
- 9:32A lot of, we had more mic technical difficulties.
- 9:36Okay.
- 9:37I just.
- 9:38What a fun day.
- 9:39I'm not surprised at the particular moment we were talking about that one doll though.
- 9:44Like we've had a couple that so much weird stuff happened that we just send them for free.
- 9:49Like we pay shipping, we pay everything, just like take this, we'll send it to one of
- 9:53our very experienced practitioners and just note them out of here.
- 9:58Wow.
- 9:59Well, I do have a question.
- 10:01Oh, yeah.
- 10:02That's cool.
- 10:03Yes.
- 10:04Okay.
- 10:05How long do you typically recommend, you know, we were talking about a toy that maybe needs
- 10:10to get resettled after they've been re-homed?
- 10:15What's the length of the college try as it were before you know like this isn't for
- 10:22me.
- 10:23You know, we just want people to be comfortable and happy.
- 10:26So whatever feels right to them, some people will stick it out for a long time and be like,
- 10:31this is making me uncomfortable that it just needs a little love and some people will
- 10:35take one look and be like, no, and it comes back.
- 10:38Really depends on the family.
- 10:39Yeah.
- 10:40Like don't we don't want anyone being uncomfortable if it's not a good fit.
- 10:44Like get it out of your house.
- 10:46Yeah.
- 10:47Yeah.
- 10:48Stick through the uncomfortable if you're okay with being uncomfortable.
- 10:51Yeah.
- 10:52That's what you were looking for, you know.
- 10:53Yeah.
- 10:54People are like, give me your most evil doll.
- 10:58Give me the worst backstory.
- 10:59I want to experience something like.
- 11:01Like that bag.
- 11:02Really?
- 11:03Sounds like him.
- 11:04Okay.
- 11:05Well, listen.
- 11:06I was just going to say and what's wrong with them, but for like Raven's Manor where your
- 11:15whole thing is having a haunted vibe and they sure got on a doll from you guys, didn't
- 11:22they?
- 11:23Oh my gosh.
- 11:24She's a wonderful one.
- 11:25I love that one.
- 11:26She is so--
- 11:27You have a pleasure in meeting her.
- 11:29Meeting her?
- 11:30I've seen her from a distance from the bar.
- 11:34Yeah, they were seeing that the the shelving she was on collapsed not long ago.
- 11:39Did you hear about that?
- 11:40No.
- 11:41They got on videos.
- 11:42Like the entire shelf of all the bottles just like boom.
- 11:46Yeah.
- 11:47Oh my gosh.
- 11:48I remember a video way back.
- 11:50It was a few years ago or a couple years ago of something happening around her.
- 11:56Oh, it was like another doll fell down.
- 11:58Yeah.
- 11:59No, no.
- 12:00That's what it was.
- 12:01The whole shelf fell down and it's on video.
- 12:03It's really shocking.
- 12:04Oh my gosh.
- 12:05I'll have to go find that.
- 12:08Yeah.
- 12:09And kind of not social media in lately.
- 12:12Well, they showed it to us.
- 12:14I don't know if it's on social media or not.
- 12:16Oh, OK.
- 12:17It's a lot.
- 12:19Yeah.
- 12:20That one looked quite well.
- 12:22No.
- 12:23I'll have to bug them again and ask them about it.
- 12:26Maybe they'll come on with us.
- 12:28Yeah.
- 12:29Because we talked about that in September of 2021.
- 12:33We talked about Ravens' Manor.
- 12:34Yeah, I remember.
- 12:35I think you reached out to us at that time.
- 12:37You just did get a little background on her.
- 12:39Yeah.
- 12:40We emailed you guys.
- 12:42I was hearing about the doll I heard where it came from.
- 12:44And I was like, what is this amazing business?
- 12:47I need to contact them immediately.
- 12:50And you guys were so nice to respond.
- 12:52And at that point, I hadn't gotten many responses from people.
- 12:57Because we were just like new baby podcasters.
- 13:00But you guys were so nice.
- 13:02And you gave us info that we used in the episode.
- 13:04We would have never had it otherwise.
- 13:06So thank you for that.
- 13:07We've been stalking you ever since.
- 13:09Exactly.
- 13:10And I have almost completely emotionally recovered from that episode.
- 13:17Psychologically, I think, probably not.
- 13:20But...
- 13:21Well, then we got a ghost of summer and you guys are there.
- 13:25And then I stick Caitlyn at the booth with all the creepy dolls.
- 13:29With the doll throne, right?
- 13:31Yes.
- 13:32I was trying to remember.
- 13:33Did you do pictures of the doll throne?
- 13:34Yes, we did.
- 13:35And I was holding the lovely little...
- 13:38The little guy doll you had with the.
- 13:41Oh, yeah, yeah.
- 13:43Kappy?
- 13:44Yeah.
- 13:45I held him for so long.
- 13:47And I really, he was just like warm and felt so good in my arms.
- 13:51And I didn't want to give him back.
- 13:53But I knew that he wasn't mine.
- 13:55He has had effect on people, first of all.
- 13:59Yeah.
- 14:00Yeah, he likes attention.
- 14:02Yeah, he does.
- 14:03Yeah, he gets right into it.
- 14:04So is he one of your personal dolls?
- 14:06Or is he for sale?
- 14:08Yeah, no, he's in our permanent collection.
- 14:10But we do have...
- 14:12We do have this guy.
- 14:14Oh, he's handsome.
- 14:16He looks pretty good, right?
- 14:18What?
- 14:19What are those teeth?
- 14:20He has a really fascinating backstory.
- 14:23There was a second hand shop in Portland that burns down.
- 14:29And the owners tried to get in.
- 14:31And it was unsafe and condemned at that time.
- 14:34And so the authorities wouldn't let him in to get any of the stuff.
- 14:38And that night, he's...
- 14:40People came in and stole everything from the burns building.
- 14:44Oh, no.
- 14:45And then they took the stuff, including him,
- 14:49and took what they wanted,
- 14:51and then dumped the rest in bridal veil at the gorge.
- 14:54You know where that is?
- 14:55Oh, come on.
- 14:56Sort of a...
- 14:57You know what?
- 14:58And they dumped it on the side of the road
- 15:00and a man who lives on the hill in bridal veil
- 15:03has seen people steal things and dumped them on the side of the road there.
- 15:07And he went down and gathered the stuff
- 15:09and tried to figure out what they were and where they came from.
- 15:12And was able to contact the owner,
- 15:14but there was no...
- 15:15By the time he found who it was,
- 15:17they weren't able to take them back.
- 15:19Anymore, the store was gone.
- 15:21And it was too late.
- 15:22So the man just took the toys and kept them safe in his garage.
- 15:27And then when they saw us on the news, they contacted us.
- 15:30And now a lot of the toys have actually gone full circle
- 15:33to back and have been adopted by people who wanted them back
- 15:36when they were at the second hand shop.
- 15:38Get out of here.
- 15:40That is wild.
- 15:41Is that a veil?
- 15:42He's one of them.
- 15:43He's one who has dumped on the side of the road in bridal veil.
- 15:45Oh my gosh.
- 15:46I mean, just like have a...
- 15:48What is a survival instinct?
- 15:50He sure does.
- 15:51He's got the chompers to...
- 15:53Yeah.
- 15:54Wow.
- 15:55He's definitely a pretty awesome little guy.
- 15:58So for anyone who can't see us right now,
- 16:01because the video will be on our Patreon.
- 16:04But for anyone who can't see, can we describe this doll?
- 16:07What's his name?
- 16:08He didn't come with an name.
- 16:10Yeah, we haven't named him yet.
- 16:12He's pretty new to us.
- 16:14But he's kind of...
- 16:15He's got big old dimples, rosy cheeks.
- 16:17Ventriloquist dummy.
- 16:18Yeah, Ventriloquist dummy.
- 16:20He's got very nice slick tear to the side.
- 16:24And like a little curl in the forehead.
- 16:27I love that.
- 16:28It kind of looks like me when I was young.
- 16:31Aww.
- 16:32Yeah.
- 16:33That's adorable.
- 16:34And he's not wearing his original clothes.
- 16:36He's wearing a lovely white sweater with a blue dress.
- 16:39Yes.
- 16:40And check out how long his legs are.
- 16:42Oh my gosh.
- 16:43That is the lower main.
- 16:45His legs are...
- 16:46Maybe that's his name, crazy legs.
- 16:48Crazy legs.
- 16:49Crazy legs.
- 16:50Crazy legs, Mj.
- 16:51I don't know why that was so alarming that his legs are long.
- 16:58I do sometimes these dolls.
- 17:01I try to like think about, well, if I made it all.
- 17:05And I have no talent whatsoever.
- 17:07I know that like it would end up with either crazy, crazy long arms that would...
- 17:12Or, you know, something would be completely wrong.
- 17:15And so I always wondered like, how do these get made, you know?
- 17:19Like, who approved some of these?
- 17:21Yeah.
- 17:22He mentioned people in a boardroom like, well, these legs aren't long enough.
- 17:26Yeah.
- 17:27Make them longer.
- 17:29Yeah.
- 17:30Listen, they were already late to lunch and they needed to get this show on the road.
- 17:35Exactly.
- 17:36That is so funny.
- 17:37They had their teamies to get to.
- 17:40Can I propose a name for him?
- 17:42Is that okay?
- 17:43Oh yeah.
- 17:44So when you said long leg, all I heard was like long leg Lucas and that's what I heard.
- 17:50And he kind of looks like Lucas.
- 17:52Long leg Lucas.
- 17:53Perfect.
- 17:54I guess perfect.
- 17:55Did I just get your name a doll?
- 17:57You just did.
- 17:58Yeah.
- 17:59I'm so happy.
- 18:00We'll put him up on the website.
- 18:04Oh my gosh, you guys are so sweet.
- 18:07Okay.
- 18:08Well, she's going to be in a fantastic mood for the foreseeable future.
- 18:13Yeah, I am.
- 18:14Sure.
- 18:15So you're giving a doll name.
- 18:16Yeah.
- 18:17You ever have opinions like we love it.
- 18:20Oh, I have opinions on names.
- 18:22Let me tell you.
- 18:23She really does.
- 18:24I like to name everything and I like to ask it what its name is and let it tell me.
- 18:30Well, this was a very special moment.
- 18:32Yeah.
- 18:33I was so cool.
- 18:34Yeah.
- 18:35I was so excited.
- 18:36I love it.
- 18:37What is the most unsettling toy that you guys have come across?
- 18:42There's been a couple.
- 18:43I can talk about Claudia if you want.
- 18:45Okay.
- 18:46Yeah.
- 18:47Claudia's one that we no longer have.
- 18:49Poor Claudia was sitting on a little girl's dresser and fell off and snapped its leg just
- 18:56under the knee.
- 18:57Oh, no.
- 18:58And the girl that same week broke her leg in the same spot, same leg on a trampoline.
- 19:08Nope.
- 19:09Nope.
- 19:10I just got to go.
- 19:11Right.
- 19:12Yeah.
- 19:13100% parents were like, well, that's crazy.
- 19:14So they put it into a closet and the little girl kept her name being called from the closet.
- 19:22And so the parents took it and sent it off to us without even telling us any of the stories.
- 19:30They were afraid like maybe we would learn story and didn't want it.
- 19:33Yeah.
- 19:34We're like, you're here.
- 19:35They wanted to tell the story until we had her like in our house.
- 19:39Oh my gosh.
- 19:40So just as far as the story goes, it's creepy.
- 19:44And then I did something really stupid.
- 19:48I did some stupid stuff because I want to know what happens sometimes.
- 19:52I took its leg and I moved it to my car, you know, in the back seat behind me.
- 19:58Of all the places you don't put something that you have questions about, like don't put
- 20:01it in your car.
- 20:02Seriously.
- 20:03I sometimes I make mistakes.
- 20:05Oh no.
- 20:06I'm worried.
- 20:07I'm worried.
- 20:08But me.
- 20:09It's okay, but it's okay.
- 20:12It's not say who the made the mistakes.
- 20:15Yeah.
- 20:16So it was sitting in the back there and my back seat windows started rolling down on their
- 20:25own.
- 20:26Yeah.
- 20:27I saw it.
- 20:28It's like for real.
- 20:29It was crazy.
- 20:30And he was like, look, it's doing it.
- 20:31Like he was nowhere near any of the controls.
- 20:33And like the back window was rolling itself down.
- 20:35Yeah.
- 20:36Yeah.
- 20:37And I know obviously I yelled at him a lot.
- 20:39Yeah.
- 20:40And it took me a while to take it out.
- 20:42Yeah.
- 20:43Put things off.
- 20:44Yeah.
- 20:45Yeah.
- 20:46The ADHD of it all.
- 20:47You know.
- 20:48You know.
- 20:49You know.
- 20:50Once I took it out, no more car thing.
- 20:52Never happened again.
- 20:53Yeah.
- 20:54No more car thing.
- 20:55It just, you know.
- 20:56So you don't think it was like an electrical or wiring issue with your control.
- 21:02Like it never did it again.
- 21:03It did a lot of times.
- 21:04It was.
- 21:05And then it stopped.
- 21:06So that was really.
- 21:07It could be.
- 21:08It could be anything.
- 21:09It's just one of those things that makes you think like, oh no.
- 21:11Yeah.
- 21:12Like, is it a coincidence or am I doing something I should be doing?
- 21:17It was the doll.
- 21:18Yeah.
- 21:19So where did it end up?
- 21:24That went to one of our very experienced clients.
- 21:27We have quite a few clients who take in classes and like are very professional about their handling
- 21:34of objects that could have attachments.
- 21:37And it went to one of those.
- 21:38When we have one of those situations where, you know, weird stuff is happening, then we're
- 21:42careful to make sure that the toy goes to an appropriate household.
- 21:47Like that one would never go to a home where there was a child.
- 21:50You know.
- 21:51Oh, that's good.
- 21:52Very responsible.
- 21:53It's for the best.
- 21:54Yeah.
- 21:55And I just know you guys have some value.
- 21:59Would you say it's bubble wrap?
- 22:00I assume it was bubble wrap.
- 22:02I mean, you don't want anything else breaking off of her.
- 22:06Right.
- 22:07You never know.
- 22:08You never know.
- 22:09Right.
- 22:10Definitely, definitely bubble wrapped up.
- 22:12Yes.
- 22:13And it's enjoying its new home.
- 22:16We hope.
- 22:17Make a noise.
- 22:18Have you heard anything bad?
- 22:21Yeah.
- 22:22Actually, we keep hearing back from people about that doll, not just the owner, but she's gained
- 22:28a bit of a following and like people reach out to us trying to get information about the
- 22:33new owner and about the doll.
- 22:35Like it's quite a ride.
- 22:37Like we get contacted fairly regularly by investigators and teams and detective people,
- 22:46who fancy themselves to be detectives.
- 22:48The ghost musters.
- 22:50Like it is just an ongoing saga.
- 22:53Then we have one that look like a famous cartoon character.
- 22:58Yeah.
- 22:59That was just completely benign and everything just went to hell and a hand basket when that
- 23:04thing got to my house.
- 23:06Like really weird stuff.
- 23:09Like probably the weirdest one is I had bought like some sort of food for the kids that I was
- 23:15warming up.
- 23:16It was like a key shirt, something that had a little bit of eggs in it.
- 23:19Have you ever seen a video of if you microwave a hard boiled egg?
- 23:23Have you ever seen those videos?
- 23:25No.
- 23:26They like explode.
- 23:27Like hardcore explode.
- 23:29Like scary explode.
- 23:30You have to look it up.
- 23:31Because I didn't know that was a thing, but apparently this food that I was making for my kids
- 23:36had like an egg yolk that had been unbroken in it.
- 23:39It was like a prepared food.
- 23:40That's not a thing that's supposed to be able to happen.
- 23:42But I microwaves this like lovely healthy food for my kids and it freaking exploded.
- 23:48Like exploded exploded.
- 23:50Like I took it out of my phone.
- 23:52Like bam.
- 23:53Look at videos of what happens if a hard boiled egg explodes.
- 23:57When you took it out it exploded.
- 23:58Yes.
- 23:59It burns like it was really scary.
- 24:03That was like, and then like there was a lot of illness and just like that luck and my
- 24:08car quit carring like it went all the heck.
- 24:12So we just said like hey you want this one?
- 24:15Well, I think the whole time too it was laughing in the corner at this.
- 24:19Stop it.
- 24:20Stop it.
- 24:21Staring and laughing at us.
- 24:22Right.
- 24:23Well, and how did you hear it?
- 24:24And Brum and had much worse luck than we had.
- 24:27Like so many things went awry.
- 24:29So that one was just and it was just a super benign looking like friendly talking cartoon
- 24:33character.
- 24:34And it was bad news.
- 24:37Can you not say which cartoon character?
- 24:39No, I wouldn't.
- 24:40Okay.
- 24:41Looks can be deceiving.
- 24:43I'm just so curious.
- 24:44I mean, that is just because who expects to be attacked by eggs?
- 24:52What?
- 24:53It's just like so scary.
- 24:57I'm settling eight dot go.
- 25:00Well, something happened with my eggs before.
- 25:03Do you remember that?
- 25:05Yes.
- 25:06When I was I worked in a house that we thought was haunted and they threw my they were hard
- 25:13boiled eggs across the floor.
- 25:14Like I had set them on the counter and made sure they weren't rolling.
- 25:18And then all of a sudden I turned my back and I hear like eggs hit the floor.
- 25:23But then I went back and I was trying to get the egg to roll off the counter and it would
- 25:27just roll in the opposite direction.
- 25:29She was trying to reproduce it.
- 25:31I was trying to recreate.
- 25:32For science.
- 25:33Yeah, for science.
- 25:34No, so that's weird.
- 25:36Why is it attacking everyone's eggs?
- 25:40What is it that's inherently evil about the hard boiled eggs?
- 25:45It's weird.
- 25:46There's something going on.
- 25:47They're delicious.
- 25:48They're they are.
- 25:49Yeah.
- 25:50Maybe they're just mad that they can't enjoy eggs anymore.
- 25:53I don't know.
- 25:54But did you guys see I swear to God I know her ears are inside of the headphones, but I
- 26:00feel like I could see her ears parking up when you mentioned classes.
- 26:06Yes.
- 26:07What are these classes that you think?
- 26:09What some of the people do just like workshops and things at the conventions around, you
- 26:14know, divining or communication things.
- 26:16Oh, okay.
- 26:17We've also had some contact.
- 26:20There are a couple of university programs in paranormal studies or what was the official.
- 26:29There was one university on the East Coast where someone actually contacted us for a thesis.
- 26:34And it was like majoring in the science pieces of paranormal investigations.
- 26:40It was like the smartest conversation ever.
- 26:42It was so awesome.
- 26:44Wow.
- 26:45About people's interpretations and people's perceptions and sensory stuff and going back
- 26:51to college.
- 26:52Six sense things.
- 26:53It was really interesting.
- 26:54There's a lot of there's a lot of different paths that our clients take to educate themselves
- 26:58about, you know, whatever it is they believe in.
- 27:03And it's been really awesome for us to learn all the different ways that people sort of engage
- 27:07with this stuff.
- 27:08I was thinking the same thing.
- 27:09I'm going back to college.
- 27:10Let's go.
- 27:11Can we go together?
- 27:12Yes.
- 27:13Seriously.
- 27:14I'm going to share a door.
- 27:18Oh my.
- 27:19Some of those things they have at the ghost conference.
- 27:21Yeah, the organ ghost conference has some really fun speakers.
- 27:24Yeah.
- 27:25Oh class really kind of things.
- 27:27It's so weird.
- 27:28They keep losing all of the information about that every time that I see it.
- 27:33It's weird.
- 27:34It's probably a ghost thing.
- 27:36I don't.
- 27:37She just doesn't want to go.
- 27:38She's too scared.
- 27:39Oh.
- 27:40I think ghosts of some are put her over her limit.
- 27:44No ghosts of summer was awesome.
- 27:47That was fun.
- 27:49But that was, yeah, was it fun when you had one of those dolls that was like whispering in
- 27:55your ear and a snake behind you?
- 27:57I like it.
- 27:58Yeah.
- 27:59It was so many, so many different.
- 28:03Yeah.
- 28:04There she is.
- 28:05So many different kinds of note.
- 28:08Here we go.
- 28:09You like turns.
- 28:10This one talks.
- 28:11Yeah.
- 28:12Let's see.
- 28:13Is this your friend of that one, you think?
- 28:17Did she just say I'm afraid of everything?
- 28:20Yes.
- 28:21I feel so attacked right now.
- 28:24I feel like you guys are the same person.
- 28:26You and the dollar are the same.
- 28:29She's like this co-host that weak songs.
- 28:33Weak songs.
- 28:34I'm in a mock.
- 28:36Yes.
- 28:37Her name is Violet, you said?
- 28:40Yeah, this is Violet.
- 28:41She actually calls shrinking violets.
- 28:43Yeah, we got quite a few of them from a lady that just loves them.
- 28:47She is very passionate in her knowledge that they are full of all good positive energy.
- 28:52They're foreign.
- 28:53They work in hospice and would come home every day and share her very difficult days
- 28:58and difficult stories with these shrinking Violet dolls.
- 29:02And then she loves them so much that she actually drove them up from like Central California
- 29:07to hand deliver them.
- 29:08Wow.
- 29:09And so they're a boy, if we're going by appearances.
- 29:17She was really loved.
- 29:18I'm judging.
- 29:19She's very beloved.
- 29:20She's very beloved.
- 29:22And we work really hard to never change the stories that the toys come to us with because
- 29:27we don't want to put anything through our own lens or own filter.
- 29:31We really try to be respectful of whatever people tell us about them.
- 29:34And so this Violet is full of love and positive energy.
- 29:39And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 29:40And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 29:41And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 29:42And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 29:43And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 29:44And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 29:45And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 29:46And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 29:47And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 29:48And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 29:49And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 29:50And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 29:51And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 29:52And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 29:53And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 29:54And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 30:09And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 30:10And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 30:12And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 30:13And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 30:14And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 30:15And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 30:16And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 30:17And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 30:18And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 30:19And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 30:20And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 30:21And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 30:22And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 30:23And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 30:24And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 30:25And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 30:26And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 30:27And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 30:28And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 30:29And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 30:30And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 30:31And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 30:32And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 30:33And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 30:34And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 30:35And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 30:36And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 30:37And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 30:38And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 30:53And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 30:54And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 30:55And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 30:56And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 30:57And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 30:58And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 30:59And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 31:00And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 31:01And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 31:02And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 31:03And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 31:04And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 31:05And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 31:06And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 31:07And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 31:08And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 31:09And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 31:10And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 31:11And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 31:12And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 31:13And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 31:14And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 31:15And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 31:16And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 31:17And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 31:18And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 31:19And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 31:20And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 31:21And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 31:22And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 31:40And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 31:41And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 31:42And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 31:43And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 31:44And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 31:45And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 31:46And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 31:47And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 31:48And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 31:49And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 31:50And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 31:51And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 31:52And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 31:53And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 31:54And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 31:55And we're like, "Oh, I love it."

- 33:59And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 34:00And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 34:01And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 34:02And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 34:03And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 34:04And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 34:05And we're like, "Oh, I love it."

- 34:11And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 34:12And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 34:13And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 34:14And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 34:15And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 34:16And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 34:17And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 34:18And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 34:33And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 34:34And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 34:35And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 34:36And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 34:37And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 34:38And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 34:39And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 34:40And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 34:41And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 34:42And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 34:43And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 34:44And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 34:45And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 34:46And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 34:47And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 34:48And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 34:49And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 34:50And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 34:51And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 34:52And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 34:53And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 34:54And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 34:55And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 34:56And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 34:57And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 34:58And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 34:59And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 35:00And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 35:01And we're like, "Oh, I love it."
- 35:02But a witch in her familiar of Black Cat, and they are sitting on matching pumpkins on either side of a candle, Laura, and through the branches of the tree, you can see the full moon.
- 35:17And it just looks very spooopy and cute.
- 35:21It's very wholesome.
- 35:22That's amazing.
- 35:23Yeah.
- 35:24I love that.
- 35:25Okay.
- 35:25So the interpretation, it starts with a quote from Karen Armand.
- 35:31Karen Armstrong.
- 35:33"In compassion, when we feel with the other, we dethrone ourselves from the center of our world, and we put another person there."
- 35:42Oh, that's interesting.
- 35:43It talks about a throne, and you literally had a throne at your booth.
- 35:46Yeah.
- 35:47So I'll come into the camera.
- 35:49We put a lot of people in that throne.
- 35:50Yes.
- 35:51Oh my gosh.
- 35:53So the key words are empathy, sensitivity, and unconditional.
- 35:57Oh.
- 35:58That goes so well with this hilarious exchange that happened on our social media.
- 36:03Some people were debating, you know, we don't get really impacted by a lot of these toys that have the scary stories.
- 36:10And some people were like, you know, your house must be really scary and like, are you guys constantly really depressed?
- 36:17And we're not.
- 36:19We're super happy.
- 36:20And someone came in and said that we were emotional tethlon.
- 36:25What?
- 36:26What is that?
- 36:27Wow.
- 36:28Because we're just like, oh my god, all the bad stuff doesn't stick.
- 36:34We should all be so lucky.
- 36:36I feel like that sometimes though.
- 36:38Just doesn't stick.
- 36:41Hey, you guys are just so bubbly and have such a great vibe.
- 36:45I love it.
- 36:48So I'm going to read the little interpretation here.
- 36:51This says, lend a sympathetic ear to a loved one, friend or acquaintance, actively listen to what they have to say.
- 36:59You may not even have to offer advice, just a kind smile or a thoughtful touch, maybe all that is needed.
- 37:06This therapeutic gesture may help them to discover their own answers and put their minds at ease.
- 37:13There is nothing like having an attentive and caring human being by your side in a time of need.
- 37:20Always choose compassion over judgmental actions.
- 37:25In most cases, there are multiple unknown sides in variables to any situation.
- 37:31Always turn the tables and put yourself in someone else's shoes if only for a moment.
- 37:37Showing empathy is a beautiful, compassionate gesture.
- 37:41And the intention for this card, if you are sensitive to the needs of others, offer comfort, be empathetic and listen closely.
- 37:50I love it.
- 37:52That was so awesome.
- 37:55And we had Violet who was all about listening and taking things in.
- 38:02It didn't say anything about mocking me in that card though.
- 38:08So I guess she just went off book.
- 38:11Yeah, you know, everybody has a day, you know, she was just mad at you judge her at her appearance.
- 38:17I guess.
- 38:19I mean, bear.
- 38:20Gosh, that was just so perfect for just what you guys do too.
- 38:24You have so much compassion for these misjudged ways.
- 38:30It's very good.
- 38:31Yeah, absolutely.
- 38:32We love you.
- 38:33Well, so we can find you.
- 38:45What is your website?
- 38:46You know, there are no other unsettling choices.
- 38:48So like our website is unsettlingtoys.com and our Instagram is @unsettlingtoys.
- 38:54Our Facebook is unsettling toys.
- 38:55Our YouTube is unsettling toys.
- 38:58We're pretty easily predictable.
- 38:59What do you have on your YouTube?
- 39:00You have creepy videos?
- 39:01We do unboxings.
- 39:02We're talking to you.
- 39:03Someone sent us this 100 year old knockoff Shirley Temple.
- 39:07Oh, okay.
- 39:08Her wig's falling off.
- 39:11Yeah, well, it was replaced about 15 years ago before that.
- 39:15She terrified a little girl because she, she was aging quite a bit and was just locked in a cedar trunk.
- 39:21And it's quite a story.
- 39:23But we noticed that her eyes have no pupils.
- 39:26Yeah, they move.
- 39:27Really interesting.
- 39:28Her eyes move.
- 39:29Okay.
- 39:31Yeah, I mean, you don't have to do that little, little doll lady.
- 39:36I always feel so bad for them when they're locked up somewhere.
- 39:41Yes.
- 39:42Yeah, so our YouTube, you know, we get dozens of followers or viewers.
- 39:50And the tens of viewers.
- 39:52I'll be viewing now.
- 39:55Yeah, let me know what's the thing.
- 39:57Like and subscribe to that.
- 40:00Yeah.
- 40:01You guys are going to be able to get sponsorships just based off of her viewership.
- 40:06That would be fantastic.
- 40:09Yeah.
- 40:10Right?
- 40:11The dream.
- 40:12Well, I have a feeling that I will be owning a toy from you at some point in my life.
- 40:19I just know it.
- 40:21When one speaks to you, you know, run from it first.
- 40:25You should be speaking.
- 40:27But then, you know, yeah, let us know and we can give you that story.
- 40:32I think that's a good idea though.
- 40:34You run from it so you know whether or not it chases.
- 40:38Exactly.
- 40:39Exactly.
- 40:40It's all information gathering.
- 40:42Yeah.
- 40:43I did think of one more question as I was saying that.
- 40:46Do you guys allow people to meet the dolls?
- 40:49Or is it all just online and they have to meet it when they get it delivered?
- 40:53If someone is close enough to visit the collection in person, then sometimes they'll come and just see which doll they feel a connection to.
- 41:03We also have people do remote readings quite a bit where we'll set up a video call or something and then they'll do a reading of a toy to see if they feel that it has attachments or history or whatever.
- 41:17And then sometimes we'll do pop-up shops or events like where we saw you guys and people really enjoy sort of interacting with the toys at those.
- 41:26We started it right before the pandemic so that the whole idea was again to be really like face-to-face with people and have it like a fun event kind of thing.
- 41:37But we lucked out with some pretty good press right away and it took off while the pandemic was going so much so much part of what happens is over the internet.
- 41:48That was very good timing too because there's these people stuck at home with these dolls.
- 41:52Yeah.
- 41:53They haven't spent that much time with before.
- 41:55Brain cleaning.
- 41:56Yeah.
- 41:57So they're noticing.
- 41:58Yeah.
- 41:59Oh my god.
- 42:00Or the doll is probably like pissed off that there's humans in the house all day like why are you like that?
- 42:07I guess we should call it spring cleansing.
- 42:10Right?
- 42:11Yeah.
- 42:12Yeah.
- 42:13I don't think that much.
- 42:14I just not thought of that.
- 42:16People being home then they're like, you know, I didn't really notice it before but now that I'm here all day every day.
- 42:25That doll.
- 42:27It's a doll giving me side eye every day.
- 42:30Do you guys have a dog?
- 42:33No cat.
- 42:34Oh, okay.
- 42:35Was the cat barking?
- 42:36It just sounded like a cat like a dog bark.
- 42:39Well, I was talking.
- 42:40No.
- 42:41It was in between before we were talking and I heard like it sounded like a chihuahua bark.
- 42:48That was weird.
- 42:49That was probably me.
- 42:51Was it?
- 42:52Okay.
- 42:53We'll review the tape and see.
- 42:55Yeah.
- 42:56Yeah.
- 42:57You've probably hasn't been any noise anymore.
- 42:59We have noises over here.
- 43:00Did you hear it?
- 43:02I've heard some things along the way.
- 43:05I'm very curious.
- 43:06Maybe a self-parked finger behind you.
- 43:09What?
- 43:10Yeah, right?
- 43:11You're like right in the middle of the way.
- 43:12You're joking.
- 43:13I wouldn't be surprised because her closet is semi-haunted.
- 43:20So, oh my gosh, what?
- 43:26What?
- 43:27Am I you mean super?
- 43:28Super.
- 43:29Yeah, we have the, what is it?
- 43:30The smoke detector goes off sometimes just randomly.
- 43:32It'll just like beep when we're talking about something creepy only.
- 43:36Yeah.
- 43:37Yeah.
- 43:38It's talking about creepy stuff.
- 43:40Could start fires.
- 43:42Let's knock on wood, but it doesn't do that.
- 43:46Okay.
- 43:47But I think it's even a trope, like a movie trope, you know, those haunted items always mess
- 43:54with like electronics.
- 43:55Electronics, yeah.
- 43:56Oh, yeah.
- 43:57You know, like a Poltergeist.
- 43:58They had that toy that just hit the sun.
- 44:00Yeah, yeah.
- 44:01Oh, man.
- 44:02No good.
- 44:03Yeah, we definitely come across that a lot.
- 44:07Like a lot of our hauntings.
- 44:10And most of them involves something where technology just goes crazy or battery drains or.
- 44:16Yeah.
- 44:17Well, and wind up toys.
- 44:18Wind up toys just do their own thing.
- 44:21Like it's surprising how often they will just start going off.
- 44:26But they shouldn't.
- 44:27Right.
- 44:28They technically shouldn't.
- 44:29No.
- 44:30They think that's the creepier than technology messing up.
- 44:34I feel like because that's.
- 44:36Yeah, it's manual.
- 44:37Yeah.
- 44:38Yeah.
- 44:39Yeah.
- 44:40They just kind of sometimes you just walk around.
- 44:42You hear a few notes.
- 44:44And yeah.
- 44:46Yeah.
- 44:47The hair on your arm stands up.
- 44:49And.
- 44:50And you slowly nibble your own fingers off.
- 44:56Exactly.
- 44:57Have you had anything else like a bicycle or like something that's not like a doll or an animal?
- 45:03We had a yo-yo.
- 45:04We did have a holiday.
- 45:06A yo-yo.
- 45:07An unsettling yo-yo.
- 45:10So we all need someone said it was bringing them bad luck and we have we had a yo-yo.
- 45:15Wow.
- 45:16Interesting.
- 45:17People, if you come in second in a yo-yo competition that doesn't mean you have bad luck and you
- 45:24descend that's the yo-yo.
- 45:25It's just.
- 45:26We don't really need a lot of you.
- 45:28Yeah.
- 45:29You just need a yo-yo.
- 45:31Yeah.
- 45:32You guys forgot about the yo-yo.
- 45:34I can't think of any other other.
- 45:36You need.
- 45:37You need.
- 45:38Yeah.
- 45:39Like that we wouldn't be.
- 45:41All of our favorites are handmade.
- 45:43We love the old hand.
- 45:44Oh, yeah.
- 45:45Those those always have the most personality.
- 45:48Yeah.
- 45:49I've got one that I carry around with me.
- 45:51Cole will.
- 45:52He's a if you're on the website.
- 45:55He's a he's in the what do we call unsettlingly unavailable or something?
- 46:03We call it permanent collection.
- 46:05Uncertainly unavailable.
- 46:07We love that.
- 46:09So it's in there.
- 46:11And he's just a sweet little sad guy.
- 46:13Crochet little crochet guy.
- 46:15Oh.
- 46:16And he is unsettling on a unsettlingly unavailable.
- 46:23Yes.
- 46:24Oh my gosh.
- 46:26I actually just like had a memory come back to me of when I used to clean houses and we cleaned
- 46:33them.
- 46:37And I was like, what do you think?
- 46:39Um, these people's houses and I believe they were Russian.
- 46:42And they had these just like little dolls.
- 46:45I feel like they were made of like broomstick.
- 46:47What are rooms made of wood?
- 46:49Little bristly.
- 46:50Yeah.
- 46:51I don't really know what they was like.
- 46:53I don't.
- 46:54I don't understand the question.
- 46:55The bristly part of a room.
- 46:56Were they broadles where they.
- 46:58They might have been straw.
- 47:00But I don't get creaked out very easily.
- 47:04Um, but these dolls always, I don't know what it was.
- 47:07I didn't like to be able to pick things up and clean under it.
- 47:10And I just like didn't want to ever touch them.
- 47:12So I just cleaned around them.
- 47:14And I feel like one day.
- 47:16Because I never touched them.
- 47:18I came back in the room later and it was in a different fucking position.
- 47:21No.
- 47:22And I asked the person who was cleaning the bathrooms.
- 47:25Like, why would they be dusting if they dusted?
- 47:27And they were like, no.
- 47:28And I was like, okay.
- 47:30Yeah.
- 47:31We got a couple.
- 47:32Oh my gosh.
- 47:33Yeah.
- 47:34The homemade folk art stuff is really interesting.
- 47:37Yeah.
- 47:38Yeah.
- 47:39And we are lucky enough to have some of that.
- 47:42And it's really cool.
- 47:43Yeah.
- 47:44We have an apple-faced doll that's really intense looking.
- 47:47Apple-faced.
- 47:48Yeah.
- 47:49Which like the face is made of carved dehydrated fruit.
- 47:52And it's, oh my gosh.
- 47:53I can't believe you.
- 47:54You don't know this.
- 47:55Okay.
- 47:56Cassie is learning something.
- 47:58You knew this?
- 48:00Yeah.
- 48:01I'm familiar.
- 48:02I had no idea.
- 48:03I don't like it.
- 48:04But I know it.
- 48:05But I know it.
- 48:06That is so weird.
- 48:08I have to look, I have to look this up after.
- 48:10Yeah.
- 48:11All right.
- 48:12I also do want to say though that those, it was just these two particular dolls on this nightstand.
- 48:17But they had like another one and then some other artsy type of stuff.
- 48:22And all of that was fine.
- 48:23And everything was beautiful.
- 48:25But it was just those two dolls that just, they were off.
- 48:28They were, they were off.
- 48:30Yeah.
- 48:31Something was off.
- 48:33I believe you.
- 48:34I believe you.
- 48:36Okay.
- 48:37Well, do you guys have like an email list, like a newsletter for, because I'm definitely going

- 48:56Oh, no.
- 48:57Now, the place that most people keep up to date on what we're doing is YouTube and Instagram.
- 49:01Okay.
- 49:02Generally when we get new stuff in or if there's news like, like interesting articles about us that have come out or anything like that,
- 49:10it usually goes on our YouTube.
- 49:11And then our Instagram, a lot of the things that we get go to our Instagram.

- 53:17I have to tell you though.
- 53:19I was finishing up in the bathroom and all of this and I got a nosebleed.
- 53:26Goodness gracious.
- 53:28Out of nowhere.
- 53:30Yeah.
- 53:31Okay, so we have to talk about what happened on your end then while she was in the bathroom.
- 53:37You guys were hearing some sort of.
- 53:40Oh, yeah.
- 53:41Super noises from my house.
- 53:43I don't know what that was, but yeah, they were like weird dragging noises at our house.
- 53:48Yeah, some of these trackets up around.
- 53:51And that was probably about the same time you were getting a nosebleed.
- 53:54Yeah, I did that.
- 53:55Okay.
- 53:56Great.
- 53:57Okay.
