- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I almost famous podcast.
- 0:03Speaker 2: With on our radio. It's almost his podcast. We're here
- 0:08Speaker 2: today with you and we're breaking down a TikTok phenomenon
- 0:13Speaker 2: that is happening right now and it's closely related to
- 0:16Speaker 2: Bachelor Nation. We're very excited today because we have one
- 0:20Speaker 2: of our favorite people joining us for this deep dive now,
- 0:25Speaker 2: Zachary Realities with us. Hello, Hey, I want to start
- 0:30Speaker 2: this with this. Ayaka has came out and said, hey,
- 0:32Speaker 2: she feels like there's been a lot of victim shaming
- 0:35Speaker 2: going on as she posts these videos on TikTok. We're
- 0:40Speaker 2: going to dive into what these videos are we call it,
- 0:43Speaker 2: and she's calling it the Danish deception. I'll be honest,
- 0:47Speaker 2: I have questions for Anyaika. I think she is definitely
- 0:50Speaker 2: the victim here. This is awful, this is not good.
- 0:53Speaker 2: A lot of bad stuff happened to her. But I
- 0:55Speaker 2: do have questions that if she was here with us
- 0:58Speaker 2: and we did ask her to participate and hopefully at
- 1:00Speaker 2: some point she does, I would be asking her straight
- 1:03Speaker 2: to her face. But our attempt today is to break
- 1:06Speaker 2: down this wild story and the best way we know how,
- 1:12Speaker 2: not only in support of her, but also wanting to
- 1:15Speaker 2: ask the questions of how does this happen and how
- 1:19Speaker 2: does it happen for so long? Zachary and Ashley, are
- 1:24Speaker 2: you ready to talk about the Danish Deception?
- 1:27Speaker 3: Yes, let's talk about the Dnnis deception, which is very
- 1:30Speaker 3: similar to stories that have became popular in the past
- 1:33Speaker 3: few years. Who the F Did I Marry? On TikTok
- 1:37Speaker 3: by Reesa Tisa that was her true life story and
- 1:40Speaker 3: the Tindler Swindler on Netflix.
- 1:43Speaker 2: Zachary, you're familiar with this story. You've broken it down
- 1:48Speaker 2: a multiple times. Do you mind just kind of walking
- 1:50Speaker 2: us through your understanding of kind of the base level
- 1:55Speaker 2: maybe part one of Anyaika's video that she posted on TikTok.
- 2:01Speaker 4: Yeah, So, basically, she met this guy in Croatia and
- 2:05Speaker 4: she was smitten by him, and he really liked her,
- 2:08Speaker 4: and it seems like he loved bombed her. So he
- 2:10Speaker 4: was inviting her on trips pretty quickly, and she started
- 2:13Speaker 4: to get feelings for this guy, so she fell in
- 2:17Speaker 4: love with him, and basically she later found out that
- 2:21Speaker 4: he was a gambler, that he was lying, he was
- 2:24Speaker 4: borrowing money from her, So she fell in love with
- 2:27Speaker 4: someone who ended up being a con artist. So that's
- 2:29Speaker 4: basically like the story.
- 2:31Speaker 3: She doesn't just fall in love quickly. She ends up
- 2:34Speaker 3: getting married to him very quickly. Do we know why
- 2:37Speaker 3: she just courthouse? Oh the green card. The girl was scammed.
- 2:45Speaker 4: I mean there was one point that like her address
- 2:47Speaker 4: was on his house and like he was really taking
- 2:51Speaker 4: advantage of her.
- 2:52Speaker 2: The story gets wild, you said, did a great job
- 2:55Speaker 2: at kind of setting this scene for us. As you mentioned,
- 2:57Speaker 2: Anyaka goes with a friend to quote Croatia where she
- 3:01Speaker 2: meets this dude and he's an attractive fellaw. I mean,
- 3:04Speaker 2: that guy is a very handsome man. He's like, what
- 3:08Speaker 2: six foot four, he's muscular, and they're making eyes there
- 3:14Speaker 2: in Croatia and they get flirty. But the electricity, like
- 3:18Speaker 2: the chemistry is off the charts for the two of
- 3:21Speaker 2: them at the beginning and really at the beginning of
- 3:24Speaker 2: this relationship. It's a very normal relationship outside of the
- 3:28Speaker 2: fact that it's very long distance, right.
- 3:32Speaker 5: Yeah, But there's a lot of trips.
- 3:33Speaker 4: I mean the first like six months, it seems like
- 3:35Speaker 4: they're traveling everywhere all the time. And what's interesting is
- 3:38Speaker 4: in the beginning he was paying for these trips and
- 3:40Speaker 4: then eventually she started paying for the trips, and she
- 3:43Speaker 4: started loaning him money. And I think that's why everyone
- 3:46Speaker 4: is so shocked, is because she who loans someone money
- 3:49Speaker 4: that often, like all the time, and like, how could
- 3:52Speaker 4: her family and friends loan hand money and not even
- 3:55Speaker 4: tell her.
- 3:56Speaker 3: Well, yeah, so he tells her that he makes at
- 3:59Speaker 3: least one hundred thousand a year. To me, the sirens
- 4:03Speaker 3: would be going off if this man who's making four
- 4:05Speaker 3: hundred thousand a year is asking me for money.
- 4:09Speaker 5: Who asks like a grown man for money?
- 4:11Speaker 2: Well he he also mentioned he's a part of royal lineage. Yeah.
- 4:15Speaker 2: He also at the beginning of this relationship just kind
- 4:18Speaker 2: of in passing mentions that he participated in the Olympics
- 4:22Speaker 2: and handball. So he is setting the scene here to
- 4:29Speaker 2: be this kind of one of a kind I've got
- 4:32Speaker 2: it all catch that so many people you know would
- 4:36Speaker 2: be attracted to. I can see where her initial reaction is,
- 4:39Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, I found my dream partner. And I
- 4:45Speaker 2: want to pause here and ask you both your opinion,
- 4:47Speaker 2: because he does pay for these initial trips, and they're
- 4:50Speaker 2: not inexpensive trips. She mentions the glamour and the luxury
- 4:54Speaker 2: and where they're staying during these trips. I hear that,
- 4:59Speaker 2: and I think he is so manipulative that he is
- 5:04Speaker 2: trying to also set the scene and say, I am
- 5:06Speaker 2: this wealthy guy and this is what I can do
- 5:09Speaker 2: for you. Or do you think he at the beginning
- 5:11Speaker 2: had good intentions.
- 5:13Speaker 3: I think that he had bad intentions the entire time.
- 5:16Speaker 5: Me too.
- 5:18Speaker 3: Apparently he just married her right off the bat for
- 5:20Speaker 3: a green guard, and I don't even know that he
- 5:22Speaker 3: wanted to even live in the US. He seems very
- 5:25Speaker 3: entrenched in whatever frauds he's doing in Europe, but I
- 5:28Speaker 3: think he wanted to bring his frauds over here just
- 5:30Speaker 3: to have another demographic.
- 5:33Speaker 2: Before we get to the marriage, there is a lot
- 5:36Speaker 2: of things that happened in between there. She mentions that
- 5:40Speaker 2: on a date with him, and I think this is
- 5:42Speaker 2: just a wild footnote that feels like a big deal.
- 5:46Speaker 2: She passes out after a dinner, right and she falls
- 5:50Speaker 2: down after a dinner and is unconscious at the dinner,
- 5:56Speaker 2: wakes up and he says that she's been having seizures.
- 6:00Speaker 2: She's peede herself. She finds herself in the hospital and
- 6:05Speaker 2: he is there beside her the whole time. Which is
- 6:08Speaker 2: I think where she first mentions that she loves him,
- 6:13Speaker 2: that she's falling in love with him at the hospital
- 6:16Speaker 2: after this very dramatic event. Now do we know anything
- 6:21Speaker 2: more about this event because it is a it's a
- 6:24Speaker 2: big deal, especially if this hasn't happened to her very often.
- 6:28Speaker 5: Right, I mean, that's what everyone was saying.
- 6:29Speaker 4: It was like, your body is telling you not to go,
- 6:33Speaker 4: And isn't that something that happens on like The Bachelor.
- 6:35Speaker 4: I remember that one girl got sick and she couldn't
- 6:37Speaker 4: go on her one on one day because she was
- 6:38Speaker 4: like throwing up or something.
- 6:39Speaker 5: I don't know who that was.
- 6:40Speaker 3: Am I being too conspiratorial and thinking that it's weird
- 6:46Speaker 3: that she ends up having a sees you're bleeding from
- 6:49Speaker 3: her head and then like and having a severe concussion
- 6:52Speaker 3: after dinner with him, as like I think, do I
- 6:55Speaker 3: think that possibly he puts something in something I don't know?
- 6:58Speaker 2: I mean, it's the question that I wanted to ask, Okay,
- 7:02Speaker 2: and I think again, we're coming at this at kind
- 7:05Speaker 2: of guessing and you know, throwing out these ideas. But
- 7:09Speaker 2: when she mentions that she passes out at dinner and
- 7:13Speaker 2: then we now have the hindsight of seeing who this
- 7:16Speaker 2: man is. I go and seizures are not a part
- 7:20Speaker 2: of her life. This has never happened again, all these things.
- 7:22Speaker 2: I'm like, what was put in her drink? Was my
- 7:26Speaker 2: if a friend called me and said, I went on
- 7:28Speaker 2: a date last night all of a sudden stood up
- 7:31Speaker 2: from dinner, passed out and had seizures, And I'm like,
- 7:34Speaker 2: you don't seem to be a person that's told me
- 7:36Speaker 2: about your seizures before, Like I've never had them. I'd
- 7:37Speaker 2: be like, you got to get out of there, like
- 7:40Speaker 2: something's bad, Like so you got to get check, go
- 7:42Speaker 2: to the doctor and see what's in your drink?
- 7:45Speaker 4: Literally, I mean, oh, I just remembered it was Beverly
- 7:47Speaker 4: from Grant season. She like got sick, remember you guys.
- 7:50Speaker 4: You guys probably interviewed her. But I think that maybe
- 7:54Speaker 4: she saw that as like wow, like I was at
- 7:55Speaker 4: my lowest and he took care of me, like he
- 7:57Speaker 4: stepped up for me. He took care of me in
- 7:59Speaker 4: the hospital and I was, you know, in another country.
- 8:01Speaker 4: So I think she was just very manipulated by this guy.
- 8:04Speaker 4: And I think the big thing that he had that
- 8:07Speaker 4: intentions is because she later found out that he had
- 8:09Speaker 4: another girlfriend. Four months into their relationship when she finally
- 8:13Speaker 4: realized who he was. That's when she reached out to
- 8:17Speaker 4: his ex, his sister, and found out all of the
- 8:20Speaker 4: red flags that she has been ignoring the whole time.
- 8:22Speaker 3: But are they they're married at this point.
- 8:25Speaker 4: Now they're divorced. They got divorced, which is great that
- 8:28Speaker 4: it happened so fast.
- 8:30Speaker 3: But she's not finding this out until the divorce.
- 8:34Speaker 4: Well, she found out once she found out that he
- 8:38Speaker 4: was a con man, and she started looking into things
- 8:40Speaker 4: once once once he broke up with her. And that's
- 8:42Speaker 4: also crazy, is he was the one that broke up
- 8:45Speaker 4: with her. It wasn't the other way around.
- 8:46Speaker 5: So she was just wanting to go a lot anymore.
- 8:49Speaker 4: She was just so out of it, like she was
- 8:52Speaker 4: so in love and could not think clearly.
- 8:55Speaker 2: So the scene is now set. They meet in Croatia,
- 8:57Speaker 2: they go on these dates. Let's just kind of that.
- 9:00Speaker 2: There's like nineteen to twenty six. I forget how many
- 9:03Speaker 2: TikTok videos there are of this. They go on all
- 9:06Speaker 2: these dates. She's falling in love, he's taking care of her.
- 9:10Speaker 2: As you mentioned, when they first met, he was still
- 9:14Speaker 2: with his girlfriend. That this was like he was still
- 9:18Speaker 2: tied up. So I do think, to answer my first question,
- 9:22Speaker 2: there was bad intentions maybe from the beginning, because well,
- 9:26Speaker 2: he entered into the relationship while still in a relationship,
- 9:29Speaker 2: which I just think for most people, unless that's disgusted,
- 9:32Speaker 2: is not an acceptable thing.
- 9:33Speaker 5: To do.
- 9:35Speaker 2: Then. And I don't want to use the word brilliance,
- 9:40Speaker 2: but in like the most greedy evil brilliance somebody can
- 9:44Speaker 2: come up with. He starts slowly asking for money and
- 9:48Speaker 2: having all these excuses on why he needs the money,
- 9:52Speaker 2: and so they're in relationship now. Anyaka thinks that she
- 9:55Speaker 2: has met her prince Charming, that he's from royal lineage,
- 9:58Speaker 2: that he's an Olympian, that he's very wealthy, and then
- 10:03Speaker 2: he starts saying, you know, talking about all these problems
- 10:06Speaker 2: that he has on why he needs money. One of
- 10:08Speaker 2: the excuses is that the irs has his money tied
- 10:12Speaker 2: up due to some confusion. The other one is that
- 10:15Speaker 2: there is a really good investment in a business that
- 10:18Speaker 2: he needs to make, but he doesn't have the cash
- 10:21Speaker 2: available to do that. Another one is that his parents
- 10:25Speaker 2: will no longer kind of release their trust funds to
- 10:28Speaker 2: him for this trip that he wants to take with
- 10:31Speaker 2: her because they need to meet her first, and so
- 10:34Speaker 2: he asked for her to pay for certain things for
- 10:38Speaker 2: this trip. There's all these excuses that he starts to
- 10:42Speaker 2: come up with, and slowly but surely, as you mentioned, Zachary,
- 10:46Speaker 2: she starts sending him money and upwards of at the beginning,
- 10:50Speaker 2: I think like five thousand dollars at a time.
- 10:54Speaker 5: Yeah, it's a lot of three k is a lot
- 10:56Speaker 5: of ten k's.
- 10:57Speaker 4: And I think that she wanted to contry because it
- 11:00Speaker 4: seemed like she got a lot of things for free.
- 11:02Speaker 4: And I think she wanted to prove to this man
- 11:04Speaker 4: that she really loves him in that marriage. To her,
- 11:06Speaker 4: this relationship is an equal partnership. So I think she
- 11:09Speaker 4: originally was just like manipulated by him, and she wanted
- 11:12Speaker 4: to help him out. She does pretty well on her own,
- 11:14Speaker 4: she's a real estate agent. But I think after a
- 11:17Speaker 4: few times, it's just too fishy and there's too much,
- 11:20Speaker 4: Like when do you get tired of like all this
- 11:22Speaker 4: back and forth and all the lies and why nothing
- 11:24Speaker 4: ever makes sense. I kind of feel like Anyaika, you know,
- 11:28Speaker 4: she should be mad at herself for just like not
- 11:30Speaker 4: seeing the signs clearer. And I wish that her family
- 11:33Speaker 4: stepped in more when they found out that they were
- 11:36Speaker 4: being asked.
- 11:37Speaker 1: Wow.
- 11:44Speaker 6: I'm Kristin Davis, host of the podcast Are You a Charlotte?
- 11:48Speaker 6: The most anticipated guest from season three is here the
- 11:52Speaker 6: Tray to My Charlotte. Kyle mcglachlin joins me to relive
- 11:57Speaker 6: all of the magical Tray in Charlotte moments. He reveals
- 12:01Speaker 6: what he thinks of Trey giving Charlotte a cardboard baby.
- 12:05Speaker 3: Why would I bring her a cardboard baby?
- 12:07Speaker 2: I was literally I was like, this doesn't track for
- 12:10Speaker 2: me at all.
- 12:11Speaker 6: When he found out Trey's shortcomings, I'm kind.
- 12:13Speaker 7: Of excited to talk about.
- 12:14Speaker 3: You know.
- 12:14Speaker 2: I think he's he's a guy spends time in Central Park.
- 12:16Speaker 2: You know, he's probably don't need to be some surgery.
- 12:18Speaker 3: Stuff, you know.
- 12:19Speaker 2: And I was like, all this kind of stuff going on,
- 12:21Speaker 2: and they were like yeah, yeah, yeah, fine, and they said,
- 12:23Speaker 2: but he's impotent, and I was like, he's impotent.
- 12:26Speaker 6: And why he chose not to return to it?
- 12:29Speaker 5: Just like that?
- 12:30Speaker 6: They came and presented an idea and I was like,
- 12:32Speaker 6: I get I see it.
- 12:33Speaker 7: It's so kind of a one joke idea.
- 12:35Speaker 6: You don't want to miss this, Listen to Are You
- 12:38Speaker 6: a Charlotte on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever
- 12:42Speaker 6: you get your podcasts.
- 12:47Speaker 3: I had a friend who was in a sort of
- 12:49Speaker 3: simpler ish relationship. She ended up finding out the end
- 12:52Speaker 3: of like over a two year relationship from his parents
- 12:56Speaker 3: that he was over one hundred thousand in debt after
- 12:59Speaker 3: she paid for a number of things like getting his
- 13:02Speaker 3: car out of the impound and paying for so much
- 13:07Speaker 3: of their lives. And she always knew it was suspicious.
- 13:12Speaker 3: She was always trying to defend our like highbrow, you know,
- 13:18Speaker 3: I was like, eh, eh, and I think and she
- 13:22Speaker 3: kind of admits that she was just with him because
- 13:24Speaker 3: she was kind of like not really wanting to be single,
- 13:28Speaker 3: and I was afraid of what her life would look
- 13:30Speaker 3: like like as like a thirty something single And I
- 13:35Speaker 3: just feel like that's probably I mean, I don't know.
- 13:37Speaker 3: On Yek's obviously beautiful. She can have anybody. So is
- 13:40Speaker 3: my friend who had the same situation. There's no way
- 13:43Speaker 3: she didn't actually see what was going on and thinking
- 13:46Speaker 3: it was suspect. It's just a matter of choosing to like,
- 13:50Speaker 3: do I want to continue to be in this comfortable
- 13:53Speaker 3: ish relationship, you know, comfortable relationship with this guy that
- 13:56Speaker 3: I find obviously very attractive, or do I want to
- 14:00Speaker 3: be with you know? Or do I want to be single?
- 14:04Speaker 2: I mean, I think we're raising questions that are worth asking,
- 14:09Speaker 2: And especially with Anyeka's background, she's very intelligent. She's a
- 14:12Speaker 2: real estate agent in Dallas. She's used to background checks
- 14:15Speaker 2: and financial checks. She understands like how finance works and
- 14:21Speaker 2: how personal finance works, and how loans work. Now there
- 14:25Speaker 2: is the level where international law is different than our
- 14:30Speaker 2: domestic law here in the United States, and so there
- 14:33Speaker 2: is probably the ability for a while to talk about
- 14:36Speaker 2: how banks are unwilling to loan money to him and
- 14:40Speaker 2: his country. Now that is not true. In fact, some
- 14:43Speaker 2: of the most successful banks are Danish banks. But maybe
- 14:46Speaker 2: there was that kind of back and forth that he's
- 14:49Speaker 2: able to play into. I think this is a good
- 14:51Speaker 2: moment for us to pause, though, and recognize the power
- 15:00Speaker 2: attraction and love at the time can play into blinding
- 15:06Speaker 2: us from some very clear things that are right in
- 15:10Speaker 2: front of us. I think, Zach, you brought up the
- 15:13Speaker 2: best question. Maybe it was you, Ashley, I forget who
- 15:16Speaker 2: said it. Where was her family and friends at during
- 15:19Speaker 2: this well.
- 15:19Speaker 3: They were actually so into him. Whenever they would meet him,
- 15:23Speaker 3: she said that they loved him, the parents especially.
- 15:27Speaker 2: She also kept it from them. She kept a few
- 15:29Speaker 2: things from them. Here's a big point in this story. So,
- 15:33Speaker 2: just a few months into their dating, they decide to
- 15:35Speaker 2: get married without telling anybody else. They do a courthouse
- 15:40Speaker 2: wedding so that he can start the process of getting
- 15:43Speaker 2: getting an immigration attorney to walk him through getting citizenship
- 15:47Speaker 2: here in the United States. And so, because of her
- 15:50Speaker 2: family and it being a traditional Nigerian family, she chooses that, yes,
- 15:56Speaker 2: this is the best option. Let's get married, Let's make
- 15:59Speaker 2: it a fish. Let's start this process and then when
- 16:02Speaker 2: we're ready, because goodness gracious, we both know we're going
- 16:05Speaker 2: to marry each other. You actually propose we could do
- 16:08Speaker 2: a white dress wedding. Everything's good, but let's at least
- 16:11Speaker 2: do the semantics of getting married legally first so that
- 16:15Speaker 2: process can start.
- 16:17Speaker 4: Okay, Yeah, And you know it's bad when like you
- 16:20Speaker 4: don't want to tell anybody you're doing something, that's when
- 16:22Speaker 4: you know you shouldn't be doing it, because if you
- 16:24Speaker 4: tell someone you're gonna get married, someone's going to tell
- 16:25Speaker 4: you no.
- 16:26Speaker 5: So that's why.
- 16:27Speaker 4: She probably kept it a secret, and I am glad
- 16:30Speaker 4: that she got divorced from him pretty easily because the
- 16:33Speaker 4: divorce could sometimes take years, right Like, it seems like
- 16:36Speaker 4: she was able to get it done and she didn't
- 16:38Speaker 4: start talking about it online until after the divorce was finalized,
- 16:42Speaker 4: which I think was interesting and the most The biggest
- 16:44Speaker 4: question I have is like, what does he think of
- 16:47Speaker 4: the Datish Deception? What does he think that she put
- 16:50Speaker 4: this all out online? Like has he seen the videos?
- 16:53Speaker 2: Well?
- 16:53Speaker 3: Didn't somebody mention I'm not sure if we were recording
- 16:55Speaker 3: yet that he is still off doing scams as of like.
- 17:00Speaker 2: A week ago.
- 17:01Speaker 5: Yeah, he was in Saloum.
- 17:03Speaker 2: He's been spot in Tuloom. I'm sure he's familiar with
- 17:05Speaker 2: the Danish Deception. And Jaikin never releases his name during
- 17:10Speaker 2: her show or dure there.
- 17:12Speaker 4: But she had a couple's in a TikTok with him.
- 17:16Speaker 4: She posted him on her TikTok for years or like
- 17:19Speaker 4: a year, a bunch of couple videos. They did trends,
- 17:22Speaker 4: and then she deleted every single video restarted. She did
- 17:26Speaker 4: a really good job I think branding the series the
- 17:28Speaker 4: Danish Deception, it's so good and I think it'll be
- 17:31Speaker 4: really interesting to see if this does get picked up
- 17:33Speaker 4: by a network and become a documentary.
- 17:35Speaker 3: There's a few things that I want to point out.
- 17:38Speaker 3: After they got the courthouse wedding done with, he said
- 17:41Speaker 3: that he couldn't afford a ring, and she.
- 17:44Speaker 5: Was okay with that.
- 17:46Speaker 3: Again, like, is she not question why did he even
- 17:48Speaker 3: say that he came for money or was like royal
- 17:51Speaker 3: or anything. If he just continuously proves that he doesn't
- 17:54Speaker 3: have any liquidity, then he says that the Irs called him,
- 17:59Speaker 3: and so is this the American Irs? He owes three
- 18:03Speaker 3: hundred and eighteen thousand dollars in taxes and his dad
- 18:07Speaker 3: owes twelve million.
- 18:11Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm assuming that would be the Danish Irs because
- 18:15Speaker 2: of their family business. You know, I think we've probably
- 18:21Speaker 2: all of us are old enough and have walked through
- 18:24Speaker 2: life long enough to recognize and see that insecurities oftentimes
- 18:30Speaker 2: bring about lying in people, right. I mean, it's getting
- 18:35Speaker 2: in the habit of lying, seeing the attention that you
- 18:37Speaker 2: can get from lying. You can talk about how you're
- 18:40Speaker 2: in the Olympics and everybody wants to ask you about
- 18:41Speaker 2: it. It feels good, especially when you're insecure and you're not
- 18:44Speaker 2: getting that attention from other places. It really sounds like
- 18:47Speaker 2: he started lying from the very start and couldn't get himself.
- 18:51Speaker 2: I don't know if he actually ever wanted to. Typically
- 18:54Speaker 2: what happens is somebody trying these to get themselves out
- 18:56Speaker 2: of the hole of the lies they dug and told.
- 18:59Speaker 2: It doesn't sound like he ever tried to. He was
- 19:01Speaker 2: just continued to dig more and more lies to continue
- 19:04Speaker 2: to get more and more money. Which is interesting that
- 19:07Speaker 2: he is the one that at the end called this
- 19:09Speaker 2: whole thing off and asked her to the divorce because
- 19:12Speaker 2: he might have gotten what he wanted. The big reason here,
- 19:16Speaker 2: if any of us are asking where did this money go?
- 19:20Speaker 2: There was over I think the number is three hundred
- 19:22Speaker 2: thousand dollars on Yeka for like is trying to. I
- 19:28Speaker 2: think it's been hard because of family and friends of
- 19:31Speaker 2: hers and also herself. But about three hundred thousand dollars,
- 19:33Speaker 2: let's assume, based on her estimates that are missing and
- 19:36Speaker 2: were given to this guy, three hundred thousand dollars, Ladies
- 19:40Speaker 2: and gentlemen, that's a lot of freaking money.
- 19:43Speaker 3: Let's talk about how he was hiding the money that
- 19:46Speaker 3: her family was giving him. He would say things like,
- 19:50Speaker 3: I'm building a house. This is his secret, just get
- 19:53Speaker 3: can you if you could give me three hundred I
- 19:56Speaker 3: thout three thousand just for like a down payment on
- 19:59Speaker 3: land a lot or blah blah blah blah, and that
- 20:03Speaker 3: is crazy And she ends up telling them I'm leaving
- 20:08Speaker 3: this guy and they're like, uh, he took money for
- 20:11Speaker 3: me and has it reimbursed me before yet?
- 20:14Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 20:14Speaker 4: He told her sister like, can you lend me some
- 20:16Speaker 4: money so I can buy a yaka like this present
- 20:18Speaker 4: or this car.
- 20:20Speaker 3: I'd be like, no, she doesn't need it. You can't
- 20:22Speaker 3: pay for it, then no.
- 20:24Speaker 4: I think the biggest thing is like if someone asks
- 20:26Speaker 4: me for money, like I'm literally gonna say no, Like
- 20:28Speaker 4: ask someone else. I don't loan out money to people like.
- 20:32Speaker 4: I just don't understand how she could constantly loan out
- 20:34Speaker 4: money to this guy or anyone like.
- 20:37Speaker 5: It just doesn't make sense to me.
- 20:38Speaker 2: I personally have And this was early on in this
- 20:42Speaker 2: whole thing, uh like my my, I guess this whole
- 20:45Speaker 2: thing meaning my life, where one of my mentors told me, hey,
- 20:49Speaker 2: don't loan money out to people like there may be
- 20:53Speaker 2: helped support them whatever, but if you need to just
- 20:56Speaker 2: pay for something, do it. Don't loan the money out
- 20:58Speaker 2: because it's two hard a relationship, and it also restricts
- 21:02Speaker 2: how much you're going to be giving somebody, And so
- 21:05Speaker 2: I don't loan money. Like you said, if somebody called
- 21:07Speaker 2: me and asked for three thousand dollars, I'd say, that's crazy, buddy, Like,
- 21:10Speaker 2: let's sit down and talk about this. Let's figure out
- 21:12Speaker 2: how you know we can get this going together. But
- 21:15Speaker 2: three thousand dollars over and over and over again is wild.
- 21:19Speaker 2: I don't want to take away from the fact that
- 21:21Speaker 2: Anyako was generous. Her family was very generous. I think
- 21:24Speaker 2: they had good hearts in this, and we should amplify
- 21:28Speaker 2: that he was manipulating everybody. They thought they were being
- 21:32Speaker 2: kind in their generosity and he took advantage of it. Yes,
- 21:36Speaker 2: should it have happened over and over again? No goodness.
- 21:39Speaker 2: If Aanyeko was here, I'd say, how in the world
- 21:41Speaker 2: did you keep letting this happen? And why in the
- 21:43Speaker 2: world did you keep saying yes to it. That's a
- 21:45Speaker 2: very fair question that I think she's probably gonna get
- 21:47Speaker 2: asked over and over. However, they were generous and she
- 21:51Speaker 2: trusted him at this point, but she soon finds out
- 21:55Speaker 2: in the course of this relationship that he has a
- 21:57Speaker 2: severe gambling addiction. Still does not put the points together
- 22:04Speaker 2: to go I've been giving him money and he is
- 22:07Speaker 2: severe gambling addiction, and he goes to Gamblers Anonymous. He gets,
- 22:11Speaker 2: you know, the help that she asked him to get,
- 22:14Speaker 2: but she doesn't put it together yet that this money's
- 22:19Speaker 2: probably going to gambling.
- 22:20Speaker 3: She's gotta be putting it together. She just still wants
- 22:23Speaker 3: to be with him.
- 22:25Speaker 5: A gambler.
- 22:27Speaker 4: That's like a toxic disease. Could it be like doing drugs?
- 22:30Speaker 4: Like everyone has their vice, Like I can totally see
- 22:32Speaker 4: why a gambler would get addicted and then they want
- 22:34Speaker 4: to keep gambling because then they want to be like,
- 22:36Speaker 4: now I can make the money back that I already lost.
- 22:38Speaker 4: So I get how it could be a cycle and
- 22:40Speaker 4: is a serious problem.
- 22:42Speaker 2: One hundred percent. It's also makes sense on why at
- 22:44Speaker 2: some points he needs three K, in some points he
- 22:47Speaker 2: needs one hundred and twenty K. It depends on how
- 22:49Speaker 2: he feels about whatever games he's playing or betting on,
- 22:53Speaker 2: and how he thinks he can make this money back.
- 22:56Speaker 2: There's this show that just came out in the movie
- 22:57Speaker 2: that just came out in Netflix with Colin Farrell about
- 23:00Speaker 2: this thing specifically, is he is addicted to the next win,
- 23:05Speaker 2: to the bigger win, to the bigger win, to the
- 23:07Speaker 2: bigger win. And the thing with gamblers is even when
- 23:11Speaker 2: you win, you don't stop. That's why casinos make money.
- 23:16Speaker 5: So do you think he's going to go to jail?
- 23:18Speaker 2: I don't know how he could.
- 23:19Speaker 3: What do you do illegally not giving the irs anything,
- 23:23Speaker 3: owing them so much?
- 23:25Speaker 2: What time out? Did he ever need? Like, did Dirs
- 23:28Speaker 2: actually ever want need his money? That was fake? Oh,
- 23:31Speaker 2: that was fake. Yeah, he said it was frozen, that
- 23:35Speaker 2: his assets were frozen, that he couldn't get anything out,
- 23:38Speaker 2: and so that was a way for him to get
- 23:40Speaker 2: more money.
- 23:41Speaker 3: I'm being fooled. It was a way of him getting
- 23:44Speaker 3: more money for gambling.
- 23:45Speaker 5: Yeah, you don't go to jail for lying.
- 23:48Speaker 2: You don't get to go to jail for livy. I'm saying, like,
- 23:52Speaker 2: I don't know Anyaika and her family. Did they ever
- 23:56Speaker 2: have anything in writing, even on a piece of paper
- 23:58Speaker 2: saying that he was going to pay us back? Probably
- 24:01Speaker 2: not this money. Unfortunately, as bad as this is, I'm
- 24:05Speaker 2: not saying he shouldn't go to jail, like or that
- 24:07Speaker 2: he should you know that, goodness, this guy should not
- 24:09Speaker 2: be walking free. I'm just saying that I don't think
- 24:13Speaker 2: he actually did anything illegal.
- 24:16Speaker 5: I think he did, but we don't know what it is.
- 24:19Speaker 2: I'm sure, Okay, yeah, say at some point in his
- 24:21Speaker 2: life he has. But well, based on the information from
- 24:25Speaker 2: this story, can any of us actually say that he
- 24:29Speaker 2: did anything illegal? As much as that hurts to say.
- 24:32Speaker 4: I feel like he did, like I think there's something
- 24:35Speaker 4: in there. I mean, conning people like for years and years.
- 24:40Speaker 4: But she did say that, like he passed like the
- 24:42Speaker 4: background check, so that kind of like gave her some
- 24:45Speaker 4: reassurance that like things were moving along, especially like getting
- 24:50Speaker 4: a marriage license.
- 24:52Speaker 2: Yeah, the background check did show that he never participated
- 24:56Speaker 2: in the Olympics. So that is another moment where she's like, oh,
- 24:59Speaker 2: he's lying to but did he?
- 25:00Speaker 3: How did she not google him and to see my
- 25:03Speaker 3: immediately the Olympics. And he's definitely had a characters on
- 25:10Speaker 3: the internet if that.
- 25:11Speaker 4: Stake family heritage page, so he was so committed to
- 25:14Speaker 4: the life no way.
- 25:15Speaker 3: Apparently he also was doing like a lot of fake
- 25:17Speaker 3: screenshots saying like look I sent my money. I sent
- 25:20Speaker 3: the money back to your parents, and that's when she
- 25:23Speaker 3: started to really put it together. She was on a
- 25:26Speaker 3: bachelorette trip and that's when he was supposed to have
- 25:30Speaker 3: gotten the good news from the IRS that his business
- 25:33Speaker 3: account was not frozen. It actually has three hundred thousand
- 25:35Speaker 3: in it. So he's going to wire ten k to
- 25:39Speaker 3: her mom, I think for the wedding dress, to put
- 25:42Speaker 3: down a deposit on the dress, and the money still
- 25:44Speaker 3: hasn't hit her account after a few days, and this
- 25:48Speaker 3: is when she confronts him and she's like, so, what
- 25:52Speaker 3: has all this been a lie? And that's when she
- 25:54Speaker 3: realized that he's been sending the fake screenshots to make
- 25:57Speaker 3: it look like he was sending money.
- 26:00Speaker 5: What a sure.
- 26:07Speaker 8: Hi, It's Jenny Garth, host of the I Choose Me podcast.
- 26:11Speaker 8: This week, I'm so excited to welcome my friend Gabrielle
- 26:15Speaker 8: carteris the Andrea Zuckerman from Beverly Hills nine o two
- 26:19Speaker 8: on OZHO to the pod.
- 26:20Speaker 7: We're choosing to get real.
- 26:22Speaker 3: I applied to the networks about my age and contracts.
- 26:25Speaker 7: They never would have hired me if they had known
- 26:27Speaker 7: my age. We're choosing to be honest She looked at
- 26:30Speaker 7: me and she said, this business is about the mask,
- 26:32Speaker 7: which you have neither of, and we're choosing to get nostalgic.
- 26:35Speaker 8: Listen to I Choose Me on the iHeartRadio app, Apple podcasts,
- 26:38Speaker 8: or wherever you get your podcasts.
- 26:41Speaker 2: Hey, it's Wilfred Ell and Sabrina Bryan.
- 26:43Speaker 1: From the podcast Magical Rewind, and we have a very
- 26:46Speaker 1: special guest on this week's episode. He's the mastermind behind
- 26:49Speaker 1: some of your favorite movies like Hocus Pocus, Newsy's The Descendants,
- 26:53Speaker 1: and of course High School Musical. Yes, it is the
- 26:56Speaker 1: one and only a living legend director Kenny or.
- 26:59Speaker 9: Tega sit down with Kenny to talk about his incredible
- 27:02Speaker 9: career and the legacy he's created with his choreography and films.
- 27:05Speaker 1: You seriously will not want to miss this one.
- 27:07Speaker 9: Listen to Magical Rewind on the iHeartRadio app, Apple podcasts,
- 27:11Speaker 9: or wherever you get your podcasts.
- 27:16Speaker 2: Well, this guy is pretty good at what he does, though,
- 27:20Speaker 2: because another story came out in the midst of this
- 27:23Speaker 2: that there was a friend of his he had taken
- 27:27Speaker 2: two hundred thousand dollars from this person and had not
- 27:31Speaker 2: paid it back. I don't know about you, guys, I
- 27:35Speaker 2: never have claimed to be the most talented human in
- 27:37Speaker 2: the world. I did work in sales for a period
- 27:40Speaker 2: in my life. I couldn't think of one person that
- 27:44Speaker 2: I could convince to give me one thousand dollars, let
- 27:48Speaker 2: alone two hundred thousand dollars. That is a crazy amount
- 27:54Speaker 2: of money. And then go off and do it again
- 27:57Speaker 2: tuan Yeka and her family and her friends, and do
- 28:00Speaker 2: it even though definitely evil, not okay, but do it
- 28:07Speaker 2: successfully over and over and over again.
- 28:13Speaker 3: Well, he was probably saying, like, I have this business,
- 28:16Speaker 3: do you want to invest in it? And he went
- 28:18Speaker 3: to like a big wig.
- 28:21Speaker 2: It started that way. Definitely did this. You know, TikTok
- 28:25Speaker 2: has blown up, and as we mentioned, they do end
- 28:28Speaker 2: up getting in this fight over the confrontation of hey,
- 28:32Speaker 2: the money's not coming through, what's going on? And he says,
- 28:34Speaker 2: I'm over and I'm tired of all the questions. This
- 28:36Speaker 2: is done. The divorce starts, but at that point he's
- 28:41Speaker 2: already gotten what he wanted, right, he got the money,
- 28:44Speaker 2: and Anyaika goes through the divorce process and as Zachary mentioned,
- 28:49Speaker 2: she does the Danish deception on TikTok. Following the divorce's finalization.
- 28:58Speaker 2: It's blown up. Think it should be more blown up
- 29:02Speaker 2: than it is. I think this is one of the
- 29:03Speaker 2: wilder stories that we've heard in a long time, especially
- 29:08Speaker 2: coming out of Bachelor Nation.
- 29:10Speaker 4: I know, like we need to talk about the fact
- 29:11Speaker 4: that she was on the Bachelor, Like this is amazing
- 29:14Speaker 4: for people that don't remember, Like she was on Colton season,
- 29:17Speaker 4: and she had a lot of drama on the season,
- 29:20Speaker 4: like she was vibrant and fun.
- 29:21Speaker 3: Please remind us what that drama was. I remember there
- 29:24Speaker 3: was drama around here, but I don't remember what it
- 29:26Speaker 3: specifically was.
- 29:27Speaker 4: Everyone's been watching these YouTube clips from like nine years ago.
- 29:30Speaker 4: But basically, like Alease, this girl on the show went
- 29:34Speaker 4: home and Alise basically told Onyeka that there was a
- 29:36Speaker 4: conversation that Nicole wasn't on the show for the right
- 29:40Speaker 4: reasons and wanted opportunities to get out of Miami. And
- 29:43Speaker 4: then Elise got sent home at the rost ceremony. So
- 29:46Speaker 4: then Anyaka took it upon herself to tell Colton what
- 29:49Speaker 4: Elise said, like at the next thir day, and then
- 29:53Speaker 4: that kind of got confronted in the group. Nicole started
- 29:55Speaker 4: crying and they were going back and forth like neither
- 29:57Speaker 4: one of them would shut up for like two days
- 30:00Speaker 4: that Colton just sent both of them home.
- 30:02Speaker 5: Oh my gosh, I remembering about it.
- 30:04Speaker 3: Ben knows a lease that's where he got his dog from.
- 30:07Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 30:08Speaker 4: And then she went to Bachelor in Paradise and she
- 30:10Speaker 4: kind of was nosy in that too. That was the
- 30:12Speaker 4: season with like Blake and Hannah g so like Caylin.
- 30:15Speaker 4: So she was kind of like in her little nose
- 30:18Speaker 4: and everything, but you know, she was harmless.
- 30:20Speaker 5: She didn't find love.
- 30:21Speaker 4: She actually sent herself home at a row ceremony and
- 30:23Speaker 4: just said, I don't see anyone here for me.
- 30:25Speaker 5: I'm going to go.
- 30:26Speaker 4: And then she also was on Coming Out Colton Colton's
- 30:30Speaker 4: you know Coming Out Netflix Stock series, and that's when
- 30:34Speaker 4: Colton told her that the reason she really was sent
- 30:37Speaker 4: home is because she was too smart in figuring out
- 30:40Speaker 4: that he was secretly gay, and that's why she went
- 30:43Speaker 4: home when she did.
- 30:45Speaker 2: Did she really figure that out?
- 30:46Speaker 4: She was like getting skeptical or Colton was insecure that
- 30:50Speaker 4: she would be the first one to kind of figure
- 30:51Speaker 4: it out. Obviously he was hiding himself. So she even
- 30:55Speaker 4: got flack for that too, because a lot of the
- 30:57Speaker 4: girls were like mad at Colton for everything that happened
- 30:59Speaker 4: with Cassie. But you know, she was the only one
- 31:02Speaker 4: to agree to film Coming Out Coulton because maybe other
- 31:04Speaker 4: people were.
- 31:04Speaker 3: Asked, well, hold up, Yes, she could have just been
- 31:08Speaker 3: like a stand in kind of to represent all the
- 31:10Speaker 3: girls in that docuseries. But if what he's saying is legit,
- 31:16Speaker 3: she has apparently pretty good intuition.
- 31:19Speaker 4: Exactly, and she has the background in homes right like
- 31:22Speaker 4: she does background checks her finance stuff. So she really
- 31:26Speaker 4: you know, I'm sure she feels like an idiot and
- 31:28Speaker 4: all she can do now is tell her story. I'm
- 31:30Speaker 4: sure she's gonna make money from this and hopefully, you know,
- 31:34Speaker 4: there's love coming for her in the future.
- 31:37Speaker 2: I know. I know she's mentioned that the feedback has
- 31:41Speaker 2: been tough because there's been this victim shaming kind of
- 31:44Speaker 2: mentality coming through. I don't look at it. I mean,
- 31:48Speaker 2: I think she's still the victim here. I'm not seeing
- 31:50Speaker 2: this as anything like she got to tell her story.
- 31:53Speaker 2: Her story is one that's captivating. But I do think
- 31:57Speaker 2: it's fair that her story brings up quite question of
- 32:01Speaker 2: how does this happen? Which I think she probably expected
- 32:05Speaker 2: to get, not the part of him stealing all this
- 32:09Speaker 2: money is sad and shocking, But I think for me,
- 32:14Speaker 2: the most interesting part is how, like, how does it
- 32:20Speaker 2: happen over and over and over again? And I don't
- 32:23Speaker 2: want that to come off as a victim shaming. I'm
- 32:25Speaker 2: not saying that she's wrong in this by any means.
- 32:29Speaker 2: I'm just saying, how, like, how does it happen for
- 32:32Speaker 2: so long that you don't see it right?
- 32:35Speaker 4: And that's why everyone's mad at her, Like, the reason
- 32:37Speaker 4: she's getting flat is because everyone's like, you're an idiot,
- 32:40Speaker 4: wake up hello, Like you're too old and educated to
- 32:43Speaker 4: be ignoring these blatant red flags. So I think that's
- 32:46Speaker 4: why a lot of the criticism is coming. There's been
- 32:48Speaker 4: a lot of TikTokers making videos of recapping her story,
- 32:51Speaker 4: Like I feel like I've seen it a lot on
- 32:53Speaker 4: my algorithm the last couple of weeks, and I'm still
- 32:55Speaker 4: invested in it and dying to see what happens next.
- 32:58Speaker 4: I have my notifications on, So I really hope that
- 33:01Speaker 4: she gets picked up by like a docu series and
- 33:04Speaker 4: we can really see like the whole movie. And I
- 33:07Speaker 4: really hope we get to hear from the guy soon.
- 33:09Speaker 4: I don't know if we ever will, but I'm interested,
- 33:11Speaker 4: you know where his whereabouts are and what he's going
- 33:13Speaker 4: to do next, because this is the first time that
- 33:16Speaker 4: his life has maybe been blown up. He's obviously been
- 33:18Speaker 4: conning people for a decade, but this is the first
- 33:20Speaker 4: time someone's really calling him out for it. So I
- 33:22Speaker 4: don't know how that will affect his life.
- 33:24Speaker 2: He's an idiot in because he never saw that, Hey,
- 33:28Speaker 2: I'm dating a girl with a following m hmm. This
- 33:31Speaker 2: could backfire, like this could this could backfire. I no
- 33:36Speaker 2: longer get to do this in the secrets and the
- 33:38Speaker 2: hidden places. Yeah, you know, the world may know.
- 33:42Speaker 4: He had everyone He had an yaka block her his
- 33:45Speaker 4: ex girlfriend, like all these people from Denmark. She blocked
- 33:49Speaker 4: all these people on Instagram because he made her do
- 33:52Speaker 4: it in the beginning of their relationship. So he was
- 33:54Speaker 4: like really ahead of making sure that she had no
- 33:56Speaker 4: communication with anyone that knew his past.
- 33:59Speaker 3: And let's just also point out that just this month,
- 34:04Speaker 3: because we said that he was doing the scams, it
- 34:06Speaker 3: was actually with the hooker. He was spotted with a
- 34:09Speaker 3: hooker taking out cash at ATM.
- 34:12Speaker 5: He can only go down from here. I mean I.
- 34:16Speaker 2: Would imagine in the connected world that we're in today,
- 34:19Speaker 2: it will be very hard for him, especially if somebody
- 34:23Speaker 2: picks this up, to navigate in the world. We don't
- 34:26Speaker 2: know where the tender Swindler is these days. I mean,
- 34:29Speaker 2: I guess I could probably find out. I haven't like
- 34:31Speaker 2: investigated it, but I'm assuming that it's harder and harder
- 34:35Speaker 2: for con artists like this to navigate in the world
- 34:40Speaker 2: and to find people to take advantage of in this way.
- 34:43Speaker 2: Once you know, social media like this, you know gets
- 34:46Speaker 2: picked up. She also mentions, and I do think this
- 34:50Speaker 2: is a fair point that some of the shame that
- 34:53Speaker 2: she's been feeling from the responses on her show, this
- 34:58Speaker 2: is why people stay quiet. Uh yeah, I don't, at
- 35:03Speaker 2: least from this conversation, Like none of us here are
- 35:05Speaker 2: saying that Ayaka was in the wrong, and we're saying
- 35:10Speaker 2: her story is so captivating that it brings up questions
- 35:15Speaker 2: that are obvious and what we want answered more not
- 35:19Speaker 2: as much as the specifics and the details of their timeline,
- 35:23Speaker 2: but the like inner dialogues that are going on is
- 35:27Speaker 2: what's interesting to me of how easily we can be
- 35:30Speaker 2: convinced to do something. Anyaika, we're on your team here.
- 35:34Speaker 2: We just got some questions that we want to ask
- 35:37Speaker 2: you at some.
- 35:38Speaker 4: Point for sure, And I think she'll the story is
- 35:40Speaker 4: going to continue to unravel. You know, she's still posting
- 35:44Speaker 4: on TikTok about it.
- 35:45Speaker 5: It was I think it.
- 35:46Speaker 4: Was a twenty six or twenty eight part series and
- 35:48Speaker 4: then she just stopped counting and just started talking about
- 35:51Speaker 4: other things. But you know, she's gotten a lot of
- 35:54Speaker 4: support too, and oh yeah, I think she'll grow from this,
- 35:58Speaker 4: and you know she'll make the money back with this
- 36:00Speaker 4: newfound clout.
- 36:03Speaker 2: Okay, I hope.
- 36:03Speaker 3: So I'm gonna throw something else back out there. Do
- 36:06Speaker 3: we think that maybe she was catching on and then thought, well,
- 36:10Speaker 3: I'm already married to this jackass. Maybe I should just
- 36:14Speaker 3: continue it.
- 36:14Speaker 7: For the lore.
- 36:17Speaker 5: Maybe she can be a connartist with him.
- 36:19Speaker 3: I'm doing it for the plot.
- 36:21Speaker 2: There's no shot the one. You have to You have
- 36:26Speaker 2: to predict that this story could be captivating enough to
- 36:30Speaker 2: capture the attention of somebody that would pay you to
- 36:33Speaker 2: do it.
- 36:33Speaker 3: I mean, she probably watched the Resa Tisa thing that
- 36:36Speaker 3: woman got. She has like her own plenty of things
- 36:41Speaker 3: going on now, and she had like the most normal
- 36:44Speaker 3: job beforehand, and then she just happened to be a
- 36:46Speaker 3: perfect personality, and then two years later, you know she's
- 36:51Speaker 3: involved in media. I'm just spitfiring.
- 36:55Speaker 2: I know it would be a wild, a wild thought.
- 36:59Speaker 2: I mean, I think cool things are happening in my life.
- 37:02Speaker 2: To think I could turn them into a television show
- 37:04Speaker 2: never comes to mind. And so maybe I just don't
- 37:08Speaker 2: see that. But this is a big story, and maybe
- 37:11Speaker 2: she did at some point say I see this and
- 37:14Speaker 2: I'm going to wait. It was obviously strategic that she
- 37:16Speaker 2: waited until the divorce was finalized to post these videos.
- 37:20Speaker 2: Now I do believe she will capitalize and for the
- 37:25Speaker 2: three hundred thousand dollars that are gone, I hope she
- 37:28Speaker 2: gets paid at least that from this experience and is
- 37:32Speaker 2: able to disperse those funds to all of those people
- 37:35Speaker 2: in her family and close network that also was, you know,
- 37:40Speaker 2: victims of the Danish deception.
- 37:44Speaker 3: And I just I just want to finish by saying,
- 37:47Speaker 3: I'm just having fun. I'm sure she didn't do this
- 37:50Speaker 3: on purpose. Okay, it's just maybe she let it linger
- 37:55Speaker 3: a little longer.
- 37:55Speaker 2: There are so many questions actually that come up. This
- 38:00Speaker 2: This is not clear cut. This is not one of
- 38:04Speaker 2: those stories. But I remember remember watching the Tinder Swindler
- 38:09Speaker 2: and saying the same thing, how in the world do
- 38:12Speaker 2: you let this happen? Like, how do you not see it?
- 38:15Speaker 2: And con artists and the manipulators are really good at
- 38:20Speaker 2: blinding people to the game that they're playing, and then
- 38:25Speaker 2: at some point that game ends, and at some point
- 38:28Speaker 2: every time they get caught or the manipulator gets tired.
- 38:33Speaker 2: So many lies bouncing around in this world, and so
- 38:35Speaker 2: many things happening in this world, how in the world
- 38:37Speaker 2: do you keep track of it all? Yeah, and the
- 38:41Speaker 2: light comes to the surface. And now we're getting the
- 38:45Speaker 2: story from on Yaka Bachelor Nation, wild stories coming out
- 38:50Speaker 2: of out of this little family. We'll hopefully get on
- 38:55Speaker 2: Yaka on. We did request some time with her. She
- 38:59Speaker 2: is working on a few things and unable to join
- 39:01Speaker 2: us at this moment, but we will continue to follow
- 39:04Speaker 2: up with her to try to get her on the show,
- 39:05Speaker 2: to ask her some of the questions that we just
- 39:07Speaker 2: want to ask, to help understand, and to teach all
- 39:10Speaker 2: of us how we and you listeners maybe don't fall
- 39:15Speaker 2: into the same trap we did have. Zachary Reality here today. Zachary,
