  Speaker 2: have the Holy Spirit be able to speak through this

  Speaker 2: mic and go through the listeners' ears and be able

  Speaker 2: to reach their hearts and minds and be able to

  Speaker 2: apply these verses to their lives. In the Lord Jesus

  Speaker 2: Christ's name, I pray.

  Speaker 2: Acts chapter 5 verse 1 states that there was a

  Speaker 2: man called Ananus among the group of believers. His wife
• 1:12
  Speaker 2: was called Sabria. Together they sold one of their fields.

  Speaker 2: Ananus gave part of the money that he received to
• 1:26
  Speaker 2: the apostles.
• 1:27
  Speaker 1: They're talking about the apostles of Jesus.
• 1:31
  Speaker 2: But he kept a part of the money for himself.
• 1:35
  Speaker 2: Zechariah knew about what Ennis had done. Peter said to Ennis, Ennis,
• 1:42
  Speaker 2: Satan wanted you to tell a lie and you obeyed him.
• 1:47
  Speaker 2: You have told a lie to the Holy Spirit. Now
• 1:50
  Speaker 2: this is something before I get any deeper into Very,
• 1:55
  Speaker 2: very hard to unforgive. It's manipulating the Holy Spirit. Let

  Speaker 2: me dive deeper. That is a bad thing to do.

  Speaker 2: You sold your field, but you did not give us
• 2:07
  Speaker 2: all the money. You kept part of it for yourself.

  Speaker 2: Acts chapter 5 verse 4 states, Before you sold the field,

  Speaker 2: it belonged to you. And after you sold the field...

  Speaker 2: The money was yours. You could choose what to do
• 2:27
  Speaker 2: with it. But you chose to do a very bad thing.

  Speaker 2: You did not only tell a lie to us men.
• 2:36
  Speaker 2: You have told a lie to God. See, it's one
• 2:39
  Speaker 2: thing to lie to man. It's one thing to lie
• 2:43
  Speaker 2: on yourself. But lying to God... See, now I've met
• 2:49
  Speaker 2: a lot of compulsive liars.
• 2:51
  Speaker 1: Like they have... To really. Act. On the outer. But
• 2:58
  Speaker 1: they really do believe some of their lies.

  Speaker 2: And.
• 3:02
  Speaker 1: I can't sit here and say that I've never lied.
• 3:04
  Speaker 1: I'd be a liar. You know. Or I've ever. Tried
• 3:08
  Speaker 1: to cheat on a test. Or if I've. Tried to.

  Speaker 1: See we all fall short. I've stolen.
• 3:17
  Speaker 2: And.
• 3:18
  Speaker 1: It doesn't necessarily have to be. Something of. A theft.

  Speaker 2: Right.
• 3:25
  Speaker 1: You could steal somebody's time. Waste it.
• 3:29
  Speaker 2: And.

  Speaker 1: There's just so many different things. That you could. Take somebody's. Innocence.

  Speaker 2: You could take somebody's. I mean we can keep going
• 3:41
  Speaker 2: down the list. But I want to make. I want
• 3:43
  Speaker 2: to make this clear.

  Speaker 1: That.
• 3:47
  Speaker 2: Manipulating the Holy Spirit. Is not going to be taking place.
• 3:50
  Speaker 2: On this following of Christ's. And being a backsliding type
• 4:00
  Speaker 2: of believer, I'm not trying to be a backsliding follower.
• 4:04
  Speaker 2: Which we all have that ability to be able to
• 4:06
  Speaker 2: take that consciousness back of ours, our free will, and
• 4:11
  Speaker 2: not be an obedient participant. Acts chapter 5, verse 5.

  Speaker 2: As soon as he heard Peter said this, Ananias fell down...
• 4:20
  Speaker 2: And he died. When people heard what had happened, they
• 4:24
  Speaker 2: were all very afraid. Some young men came into the room.
• 4:32
  Speaker 2: They put clothes around Ananias.
• 4:34
  Speaker 1: Dead body and they carried it outside. Then they buried it.
• 4:43
  Speaker 2: Almost three hours later, Ananias' wife, Sabria, came into the room.
• 4:50
  Speaker 2: She did not know what had happened to her husband.
• 4:54
  Speaker 2: Peter asked Sabria, Was this all the money that you
• 4:59
  Speaker 2: and your husband received for your field? Sabria answered, Yes,
• 5:06
  Speaker 2: that was all the money that we received. Peter said
• 5:08
  Speaker 2: to her, It was wrong for you and your husband
• 5:11
  Speaker 2: to do this bad thing. You agreed together to tell
• 5:16
  Speaker 2: a lie to the Holy Spirit of the Lord God.
• 5:19
  Speaker 1: Listen. The men who have.
• 5:21
  Speaker 2: Just buried your husband are at the door again now.
• 5:26
  Speaker 2: They will carry your body out too.
• 5:28
  Speaker 1: That's deep.
• 5:30
  Speaker 2: Let's dig a little deeper though, real quick. Let's finish
• 5:32
  Speaker 2: this out on verse 10. We're not going to get
• 5:35
  Speaker 2: a little deeper as well. But immediately, Sabria fell down.
• 5:39
  Speaker 2: And I want to say this because when you really
• 5:41
  Speaker 2: get into the Bible, it's kind of hard to just stop.
• 5:46
  Speaker 2: Once you get into certain passages and certain chapters... These
• 5:51
  Speaker 2: stories are very interesting. Immediately, Sabira fell down in front
• 5:55
  Speaker 2: of Peter, and she died. Then the young men came
• 6:02
  Speaker 2: into the room. They saw that Sabira was dead, so
• 6:05
  Speaker 2: they carried her outside, and they buried her body next
• 6:08
  Speaker 2: to her husband.
• 6:11
  Speaker 1: See, they don't play. See, everybody thinks God's gracious, and
• 6:16
  Speaker 1: God's always patient, and these things are true.
• 6:19
  Speaker 2: But there's one thing you don't want to do is
• 6:22
  Speaker 2: manipulate or lie to God.
• 6:25
  Speaker 3: Because he's going to find a way to let hell
• 6:29
  Speaker 3: unwrath on you.
• 6:31
  Speaker 2: And that's why it's so important to be riggedy, honest.
• 6:38
  Speaker 1: Right? Being completely honest. Obviously, I did not pronounce that
• 6:42
  Speaker 1: word right.
• 6:43
  Speaker 2: And this is my first take, so I'm not sitting
• 6:46
  Speaker 2: here trying to rehearse.
• 6:48
  Speaker 1: These Bible studies as well.
• 6:50
  Speaker 2: I really get a kick out of being able to
• 6:53
  Speaker 2: allow my spirit and the Holy Spirit.
• 6:54
  Speaker 1: To kick it together. Amen?
• 6:56
  Speaker 2: So forgive me as the truck goes by. I want
• 6:59
  Speaker 2: to make this clear as well. I've got eight minutes.
• 7:01
  Speaker 2: Let's go a little deeper, okay? And this is Acts
• 7:05
  Speaker 2: chapter 5, verse 12. At the time, the apostles were
• 7:10
  Speaker 2: doing many miracles that showed God's power among the people.
• 7:14
  Speaker 2: All the believers often met together in the yard of
• 7:17
  Speaker 2: the temple in a place called Solomon's Porch. The other
• 7:21
  Speaker 2: people were afraid to meet with the group of believers,
• 7:25
  Speaker 2: but people respected the believers very much. More and more
• 7:28
  Speaker 2: people became believers as they joined the group. So now
• 7:31
  Speaker 2: many men and women believed in the Lord Jesus. As
• 7:35
  Speaker 2: a result, people carried their sick friends into the streets
• 7:39
  Speaker 2: and put them on beds and mats. They hoped that
• 7:43
  Speaker 2: Peter would pass that way and make their sick friends
• 7:46
  Speaker 2: well again. They just wanted Peter's shadow to touch them.
• 7:50
  Speaker 2: Isn't that something, having that ability to be able to
• 7:53
  Speaker 2: do what Jesus did? And having that ability to be
• 8:02
  Speaker 2: able to, just by their presence alone, you see how
• 8:05
  Speaker 2: it says their shadow, just wanted their shadow to go over.
• 8:09
  Speaker 2: You don't know the impact you have on people's lives.
• 8:12
  Speaker 2: When you truly are divined.
• 8:16
  Speaker 3: And.
• 8:17
  Speaker 1: When I say chosen.
• 8:19
  Speaker 2: I mean also. You have to make that choice. These
• 8:22
  Speaker 2: are things that come with. Being renewed with the spirit.
• 8:26
  Speaker 2: You become a child of God. You become. One with
• 8:31
  Speaker 2: the almighty.
• 8:33
  Speaker 1: Now.
• 8:35
  Speaker 3: It's just a reunion though. And it's not forced.
• 8:40
  Speaker 2: You know. And. That's the true beauty of what separates
• 8:48
  Speaker 2: God's love from ours.
• 8:51
  Speaker 3: Because He is seeking us. And He is waiting for
• 8:58
  Speaker 3: us to seek Him. And being at that, I am.

  Speaker 2: The type of follower of Christ that really takes this
• 9:11
  Speaker 2: serious because I also tie into recovery I have five
• 9:14
  Speaker 2: minutes I want to make this you know kind of
• 9:16
  Speaker 2: stay stay on point as well I know.
• 9:20
  Speaker 1: For a fact that.
• 9:24
  Speaker 2: There's so much more that goes into these episodes that
• 9:29
  Speaker 2: the Holy Spirit really reveals to me so the consistency
• 9:35
  Speaker 2: level that I continue to push out is because I
• 9:38
  Speaker 2: also really enjoy allowing the Spirit to speak through me
• 9:43
  Speaker 2: It is an honor to be able to make up
• 9:47
  Speaker 2: that wasted time that I did when I was drinking
• 9:50
  Speaker 2: and using. And just sinning in general. It wasn't just
• 9:53
  Speaker 2: drinking and using. It was idle time. Being able to
• 9:57
  Speaker 2: realize that all God wants is... just a little bit
• 10:01
  Speaker 2: of our time you know of course obviously getting you
• 10:06
  Speaker 2: know to the point where people realize that It's not
• 10:15
  Speaker 2: all about just going to church. It's not all about
• 10:17
  Speaker 2: just reading the Bible. It's all about having that relationship
• 10:22
  Speaker 2: with Jesus. Now, if you have consistent time put in
• 10:29
  Speaker 2: with reading the Bible, praising, you're going to want to
• 10:31
  Speaker 2: be around those types of people that are really doing it.
• 10:35
  Speaker 2: And just like the apostles stayed together, right, because they
• 10:39
  Speaker 2: believed in.
• 10:41
  Speaker 1: Now, following Christ, you have to have a strong team.
• 10:45
  Speaker 2: And I'm so glad that I have a significant other
• 10:50
  Speaker 2: that not only wants to read the Bible on our
• 10:52
  Speaker 2: own and learn the Bible, but do it with me
• 10:55
  Speaker 2: as well, and we pray together. And that's so intimate,
• 11:00
  Speaker 2: and that's so deep. And any relationship that has Christ involved...
• 11:13
  Speaker 2: You're not doing it alone. Having more understanding of your partner.
• 11:19
  Speaker 2: Having more patience with your partner. Having that Holy Spirit
• 11:24
  Speaker 2: be in you. That does not mean that you're going
• 11:26
  Speaker 2: to be perfect. And the relationship is going to be
• 11:29
  Speaker 2: sunshine and butterflies. Every second of the day. But you
• 11:32
  Speaker 2: can be able to communicate.
• 11:34
  Speaker 1: In a way.
• 11:35
  Speaker 2: That also represents the glorification. The being glorified in. Later on,
• 11:44
  Speaker 2: in glorifying God now, having the relationship be.
• 11:49
  Speaker 1: Even more intrusive.
• 11:52
  Speaker 2: Being able to understand that there's emotions and thoughts that
• 11:55
  Speaker 2: will continue to come. But I want to also talk
• 11:58
  Speaker 2: a little bit more about, as I have three minutes.

  Speaker 2: We were able to cover 1-15, Acts chapter 5. And
• 12:09
  Speaker 2: being that, you know, it's the apostles having the authority.
• 12:14
  Speaker 2: I have authority. Now that does not make me better
• 12:18
  Speaker 2: than anybody that does not. It's just that I have
• 12:21
  Speaker 2: opened up that vessel of mine, being it that it
• 12:26
  Speaker 2: was also dying. Surrendering completely does not mean that I
• 12:34
  Speaker 2: am a saint completely. That has to be made clear.
• 12:43
  Speaker 2: I'll never be perfect, but I can get close to
• 12:45
  Speaker 2: it by being closer to Jesus.
• 12:47
  Speaker 1: Let me preach.
• 12:49
  Speaker 2: I got two minutes. I got two minutes. And I
• 12:54
  Speaker 2: want to share a verse with you real quick. And
• 12:56
  Speaker 2: then we're going to go ahead and close out. And
• 13:00
  Speaker 2: it is Psalms chapter 19 verse 14. Lord, I want
• 13:05
  Speaker 2: to make you happy. I want my words and my
• 13:09
  Speaker 2: thoughts to please you. You are my strong rock. You
• 13:12
  Speaker 2: are my redeemer. Oh, that's so powerful. When you want
• 13:17
  Speaker 2: to make the Lord happy, the rewards that come from
• 13:20
  Speaker 2: that are not always presented in blessings here on earth.
• 13:28
  Speaker 2: And that's the thing that we have to realize is
• 13:30
  Speaker 2: that our treasures are not being stored here. Our treasures
• 13:35
  Speaker 2: are being created in heaven as we Prepare ourselves to
• 13:41
  Speaker 2: be glorified with God. We need to prepare ourselves to
• 13:45
  Speaker 2: glorify God here. So when it comes that time. It's
• 13:49
  Speaker 2: going to line up with our holy bodies.
• 13:52
  Speaker 1: Amen.
• 13:53
  Speaker 3: So it's just one complete minute.
• 13:59
  Speaker 1: That makes more.

  Speaker 3: Logic sense. To continue to follow Christ. Because I've done
• 14:08
  Speaker 3: everything else wrong.
• 14:10
  Speaker 2: And I thought that it was going to give me
• 14:12
  Speaker 2: a right outcome. I love my significant other. Obviously, I
• 14:19
  Speaker 2: love my brother. I love my mother.
• 14:22
  Speaker 3: But what's really important on my list of priorities is
• 14:26
  Speaker 3: God's will. AA recovery.
• 14:31
  Speaker 2: Because if I can't cling to those two, I'm going
• 14:35
  Speaker 2: to lose the other three. And I can't afford that.
• 14:40
  Speaker 2: I don't want to have to go through that.
• 14:42
